- 0:00Speaker 1: Live from the w R Life back Studios. Bill Mark's
- 0:04Speaker 1: Someone show Well, Bill O'Reilly, number one TV ang decades,
- 0:10Speaker 1: number one best selling non fiction author on Earth. His
- 0:14Speaker 1: latest book, Confronting America, is quite a book. You should
- 0:17Speaker 1: pre order it right now, Confronting America. You can get
- 0:21Speaker 1: it at Amazon or you can go to billoreilly dot com. Also,
- 0:25Speaker 1: you get his TV shows, columns, you get the podcast,
- 0:28Speaker 1: you get the new podcast We'll Do It Live. Daniel
- 0:32Speaker 1: Baldwin great episode his YouTube channel. Make sure you're watching that,
- 0:37Speaker 1: Bill O'Reilly. How you doing.
- 0:40Speaker 2: I'm doing okay, Mark? How about you good?
- 0:43Speaker 1: I love that Daniel Baldwin episode. That was pretty interesting.
- 0:47Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm trying to bring Dayton to the Baldwyn family.
- 0:52Speaker 2: I don't know if I'm going to be successful, but
- 0:55Speaker 2: I figure if I can get them together and stop feuding,
- 1:00Speaker 2: the next stop is Iran for me that I can
- 1:03Speaker 2: solve that.
- 1:04Speaker 1: Well, but that was its interesting. But you know he's
- 1:07Speaker 1: a conservative and he got nothing but trouble from Hollywood
- 1:11Speaker 1: over it. That is kind of crazy, isn't it That
- 1:13Speaker 1: you get blacklisted not for being a communist, but for
- 1:16Speaker 1: not being a communist.
- 1:18Speaker 2: Well, you know, it's ironic because you would figure that
- 1:22Speaker 2: these people would remember what happened in the nineteen fifties
- 1:25Speaker 2: when Joseph McCarthy, the Senator from Wisconsin, was going around
- 1:30Speaker 2: saying you're a communist, you're a communist, you're a communist,
- 1:33Speaker 2: and then the industry blackball those people. Sean Penn's father
- 1:38Speaker 2: was one of them. And so now it's opposite. It's
- 1:43Speaker 2: the same thing. But conservative people, traditional people, even Republicans,
- 1:51Speaker 2: can't work anymore. They're not offer jobs because the moguls
- 1:56Speaker 2: are very far left people and they only want their
- 1:59Speaker 2: own kind. And it's so wrong, It really is so wrong,
- 2:05Speaker 2: and it's my duty to kind of point that out.
- 2:09Speaker 2: We're doing a big thing tonight on this as off
- 2:12Speaker 2: stuff in Georgia where he impugned that President Trump's having
- 2:18Speaker 2: an affair with an aid. I mean, how low can
- 2:21Speaker 2: you go? You know, how low do you get? Yeah,
- 2:25Speaker 2: And have you heard any mainstream media condemn that.
- 2:28Speaker 1: No, it's Harpo's a very nice woman and very nice,
- 2:33Speaker 1: tough life, went through cancer, battled out at a young age,
- 2:36Speaker 1: and has been low.
- 2:38Speaker 2: The fact that that no mainstream media or even Democratic
- 2:43Speaker 2: Party Apparachnik would come out and say to osof knock
- 2:47Speaker 2: it off, because I remember when Barack Obama was president,
- 2:52Speaker 2: if you had leveled a cheap shot at him and
- 2:55Speaker 2: people did, all of the press would kill you. They
- 3:00Speaker 2: would kill you. But it's okay to do it with Trump.
- 3:04Speaker 2: And this is a kind of biocracy that's really hurting
- 3:06Speaker 2: the country. It's really polarizing, causing bad feelings within families.
- 3:13Speaker 2: We get to all that with the Daniel ballwin long
- 3:17Speaker 2: form and then this week we have Scott Jennings coming up,
- 3:21Speaker 2: which I think is gonna be one of our best. Yeah,
- 3:25Speaker 2: Thrusday we'll drop that. And Jennings is a guy who's
- 3:31Speaker 2: pretty much outnumbered every day. But I'm trying to get
- 3:36Speaker 2: into his thought process. You know, I know they do
- 3:39Speaker 2: it for money and they do it for recognition. I mean,
- 3:43Speaker 2: I'm in the same boat. But you know that's got
- 3:47Speaker 2: a tail that's really got to take a toll on you.
- 3:51Speaker 2: When you walk into a building where you work and
- 3:54Speaker 2: everybody hates you. I mean, you know, I'm used to that,
- 3:59Speaker 2: But you know, I don't know what Jennings is is
- 4:02Speaker 2: gonna say. It should be interesting.
- 4:04Speaker 1: It looks like he's on that list being considered for
- 4:06Speaker 1: press secretary. What do you think who do you think
- 4:08Speaker 1: will be in a new press secretary.
- 4:09Speaker 2: I don't think he's No. I don't think that's the
- 4:12Speaker 2: President's style. It could be wrong. I'm just guessing, but
- 4:15Speaker 2: he likes people who are a little bit younger than
- 4:19Speaker 2: Jennings little uh more. Let's see where when he is
- 4:26Speaker 2: you can mold them a little bit. See President Trump
- 4:30Speaker 2: governs like Theodore Roosevelt and Franklin Roosevelt. Nobody even thinks
- 4:35Speaker 2: about this, but those two men, Teddy R and FDR.
- 4:42Speaker 2: They didn't want anybody around them that I disagree with them.
- 4:47Speaker 2: They don't want anybody. Okay, it was my way highway.
- 4:53Speaker 2: Go out and do and say, and you can get
- 4:56Speaker 2: people like that. And I understand what the game is now.
- 5:02Speaker 2: But a younger person is much more likely to do
- 5:07Speaker 2: that than a veteran like Jennings. And Trump does that
- 5:12Speaker 2: for a specific reason. He isolates his audience, the MAGA people,
- 5:19Speaker 2: and he plays to that audience. He's not trying to
- 5:22Speaker 2: mold the nation or persuade you. Sometimes I wish you would.
- 5:28Speaker 2: Sometimes I wish you would. Because economics, the Trump administration
- 5:32Speaker 2: has done well. You don't hear a worry about that.
- 5:34Speaker 2: People don't know anything about that. All they know is
- 5:38Speaker 2: that they pay more for gas. They don't know that
- 5:42Speaker 2: employment is robust, that all of the economic indicators are
- 5:47Speaker 2: very very strong, strongest in the world. Nobody competes with us,
- 5:52Speaker 2: and I would like to see more of that from
- 5:56Speaker 2: the president rather than these feuds that we get the
- 6:00Speaker 2: hour on the hour.
- 6:01Speaker 1: Yeah, but how's he gonna do that? Every so often
- 6:03Speaker 1: he makes one of those speeches and then every network
- 6:05Speaker 1: or you have to fact check when they fact check
- 6:07Speaker 1: everything and that they're lying, but they fact check on you.
- 6:10Speaker 2: Excellent question. Excellent question. Here is how you do it.
- 6:14Speaker 2: You come in with the number first of all, so
- 6:17Speaker 2: the number is issued by the Treasury Department or whatever
- 6:21Speaker 2: government agency issues the number. And then you say to
- 6:25Speaker 2: a reporter, are you going to report that tonight, because
- 6:30Speaker 2: I'm gonna watch and see If you report that tonight,
- 6:35Speaker 2: then you put them in an untenable position that if
- 6:38Speaker 2: they don't report it, then they look like they're dishonest,
- 6:43Speaker 2: which they are, and if you do report it, you
- 6:47Speaker 2: get what you want. You've got to be very specific
- 6:50Speaker 2: with these people. So when you read and you're one
- 6:54Speaker 2: of the few people on earth who's read confronting America.
- 6:57Speaker 2: You saw, yeah, you saw what I did concerning Jane
- 7:03Speaker 2: Pauley for example. Okay, So Jane Paully is everybody America's sweetheart, right, Well,
- 7:10Speaker 2: she's not so sweet. And I didn't go in and
- 7:16Speaker 2: call her names. I didn't do anything but give you
- 7:21Speaker 2: an example of an example of what she is doing
- 7:26Speaker 2: on this Sunday morning broadcast. That's all I did. Now,
- 7:31Speaker 2: she can't refute it. I can't refute it because we've
- 7:35Speaker 2: got the facts. And here's how many non liberal authors
- 7:40Speaker 2: you booked? None? Okay, So what's going on here? Madam?
- 7:48Speaker 2: What is this? That's the way you can do it.
- 7:51Speaker 2: You gotta pin him in and then show the American
- 7:57Speaker 2: people this is not about my personal feelings, although in
- 8:02Speaker 2: Donald Trump's case a lot of it is about his
- 8:05Speaker 2: personal feelings. Same thing with Teddy Roosevelt, he really got it.
- 8:10Speaker 2: How boy did he get your after your not so
- 8:13Speaker 2: much fter? Dernald was a machine. He was a machine.
- 8:17Speaker 2: But Roosevelt, Teddy and Trump they're emotional and sometimes that
- 8:22Speaker 2: hurts them.
- 8:24Speaker 1: Yeah, there's some old Washington hands who used to say,
- 8:26Speaker 1: you got to have people that disagree with the president,
- 8:28Speaker 1: especially in the cabinet meeting and let him argue, because
- 8:31Speaker 1: that's the only place the president get to hear both
- 8:33Speaker 1: sides of an argument. It'll help make a decision. But
- 8:36Speaker 1: you don't agree with that.
- 8:40Speaker 2: I think his worthiness to dissent, and certainly I've done
- 8:44Speaker 2: that over my thirty five year relationship with Donald Trump.
- 8:48Speaker 2: You know, when he asked me, and I don't intrude,
- 8:51Speaker 2: I don't call him up go he should be doing that.
- 8:53Speaker 2: I don't do that, okay, But when he asked me,
- 8:57Speaker 2: as he often has, I tell him what I think
- 9:00Speaker 2: and why I think it. But if he doesn't do it,
- 9:05Speaker 2: I'm not insulted. I've done my job as an American citizen.
- 9:10Speaker 2: You know me, I'm very methodical. I bring stuff in
- 9:14Speaker 2: and I said, look at the start of the Iran more,
- 9:18Speaker 2: I was one of the few non liberals who said outright,
- 9:23Speaker 2: both to the prison and to the audience, my audience, like,
- 9:27Speaker 2: this is a tremendous risk. Okay, so this is not
- 9:33Speaker 2: something that's a slammed unk, because you remember, all the
- 9:36Speaker 2: Republicans are jumping up and down, know, we kill their leadership.
- 9:38Speaker 2: We did this. We did that at the Navy's at
- 9:40Speaker 2: the bottom of the sea. But blah blah, bah bah.
- 9:42Speaker 2: I mean, there are so many entanglements that you can
- 9:47Speaker 2: once you get into the Middle East, so many backstabbing stuff.
- 9:51Speaker 2: It's just crazy. And when you go there, you can't
- 9:58Speaker 2: predict what will happen. And I couldn't predict it. I
- 10:02Speaker 2: couldn't predict it. And now we have a mess on
- 10:05Speaker 2: our hands because the president, you know, the only way
- 10:10Speaker 2: out of this is to really redestruction on the country,
- 10:14Speaker 2: and he'd be condemned worldwide if he did that.
- 10:17Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't know. I don't mind this on again,
- 10:20Speaker 1: off again bombing. It pretty much crippled him economically their
- 10:24Speaker 1: nuclear program is.
- 10:25Speaker 2: That's all true, but it may cost it may cost
- 10:29Speaker 2: the Republican. There's the midterm elections. See if Trump had
- 10:32Speaker 2: had a free field, if he had not done iron
- 10:37Speaker 2: all right, then where are they going to go? All right?
- 10:40Speaker 2: Because the economy is pretty good, and the gas prices
- 10:43Speaker 2: would have been three dollars to eighty and the food
- 10:47Speaker 2: prices would be down because the diesels. What's killing the
- 10:50Speaker 2: food the delivery of the trucks. So if he had
- 10:53Speaker 2: had that clear field going into November, the Republican's gonna
- 10:58Speaker 2: be much stronger shape than they are out. So while policy,
- 11:02Speaker 2: you know, you can wear down the Iranians and I'm
- 11:05Speaker 2: hoping that that happens. You know, midterms are another thing,
- 11:10Speaker 2: and that's dicey right now.
- 11:12Speaker 1: Well, Bill O'Reilly great stuff. Hey, everybody should pre order
- 11:16Speaker 1: his book. It's a fascinating book, Confronting America, and it's uh,
- 11:20Speaker 1: just explain the book for a minute, because you kind
- 11:22Speaker 1: of take people through your journey and through America over
- 11:24Speaker 1: the last few decades.
- 11:27Speaker 2: Yeah, so I signed a free copy to Jane. I'm
- 11:30Speaker 2: not sure to Jane. Jane Pauley kind of coty.
- 11:38Speaker 1: Well, it's not really out yet, but once is that
- 11:40Speaker 1: she's going to hear about it every day.
- 11:42Speaker 2: Oh yeah, yeah. And you know there are other guys
- 11:45Speaker 2: in there too, like Anderson Cooper and people like that
- 11:48Speaker 2: that the American public sees but they don't really know. Yeah,
- 11:53Speaker 2: you're going to and it's my job to tell them
- 11:55Speaker 2: because these people have influence. There's no doubt they do.
- 11:59Speaker 1: You can you'll be fat about this book. It's called
- 12:01Speaker 1: Confronting America. It's just it's about to come out. But
