- 0:00Speaker 1: Now it's the ex pole.
- 0:02Speaker 2: So uh I uh. About a week or so ago,
- 0:07Speaker 2: posted a picture of my pups, Oakley and Riley, after
- 0:12Speaker 2: picking them up from their spa day where they get
- 0:16Speaker 2: a blueberry facial.
- 0:19Speaker 3: Wow, and their teeth.
- 0:22Speaker 2: Brushed and their brushed fine and but a blueberry facial.
- 0:29Speaker 1: First of all, what how do you a dog has
- 0:32Speaker 1: hair all over its face?
- 0:34Speaker 2: I don't know how they do it. And they have
- 0:37Speaker 2: organic treats there and it got.
- 0:39Speaker 1: Me thinking, as well it should.
- 0:43Speaker 3: When I was a kid, our dogs.
- 0:47Speaker 1: We had two dogs.
- 0:48Speaker 2: We had an inside dog and an outside dog. And
- 0:51Speaker 2: the outside dog just was outside.
- 0:55Speaker 1: She lived. That was meg. Don't let Maggie in the house.
- 1:01Speaker 2: She was an Irish Setter.
- 1:02Speaker 1: She smells baths, She lived.
- 1:05Speaker 2: In a dog run and and and that was perfectly normal.
- 1:09Speaker 2: If the dogs needed a bath once in a while,
- 1:12Speaker 2: you'd get the dishwashing liquid out from under the sink
- 1:15Speaker 2: and wash them in the tub.
- 1:18Speaker 1: These dogs get like or blueberry. I want to report
- 1:24Speaker 1: on that.
- 1:24Speaker 2: If you go to x stuty six dot com slash live,
- 1:27Speaker 2: there's Oakley and Riley post post spa day.
- 1:30Speaker 1: Well, I would like to see how hideous they looked
- 1:33Speaker 1: before they went.
- 1:35Speaker 3: I am curious. I have to admit I am curious
- 1:39Speaker 3: about the blueberry fish.
- 1:41Speaker 1: How do you what ridiculous lengths do you go? I
- 1:44Speaker 1: wouldn't even do this for my kids, let alone my path.
- 1:48Speaker 2: And I think we treat our pets like too bad,
- 1:52Speaker 2: better than we treat people sometimes.
- 1:57Speaker 3: I believe our pets deserve to be treated better than
- 1:59Speaker 3: some people.
- 2:00Speaker 1: They're better than I believe our pets deserve to be
- 2:04Speaker 1: treated humanely and and you know, fat and cared for
- 2:07Speaker 1: and taken to the vat when that when necessary. But
- 2:11Speaker 1: a blueberry facial is beyond the pale.
- 2:15Speaker 3: Let's see, uh yeah so eight seven seven six oh
- 2:17Speaker 3: two nine six. How I pamper my huskies. They get
- 2:21Speaker 3: fresh food dinner, slash, chicken, veggies, fruit, et cetera instead
- 2:25Speaker 3: of kibble, and then they get a head massage when
- 2:28Speaker 3: they come cut of. Let's see Tiffany and West Jordan.
- 2:32Speaker 3: I pamper my dog rue by taking him out for
- 2:35Speaker 3: car rides. He loves them well. I also put a
- 2:38Speaker 3: cooling blanket in the car for him and will freeze
- 2:42Speaker 3: myself out with the ac to keep him cool. Let's
- 2:46Speaker 3: see my dog will only eat rotisserie chicken for her meals.
- 2:53Speaker 3: If it is not freshly warm off the carcass after purchase,
- 2:56Speaker 3: it must be shredded and fried in her own special
- 2:59Speaker 3: frying pan to warm it up. She will sit on
- 3:02Speaker 3: the back of the couch and watch me to make
- 3:05Speaker 3: sure it is prepared to her specifications. Her name is
- 3:10Speaker 3: Winnie May and she is a sheiitsu.
- 3:13Speaker 1: Let's see, we got line one here eight seven seven
- 3:17Speaker 1: six oh two nine six nine six.
- 3:19Speaker 3: Winnie May, I love it all right, let's see. Let's
- 3:22Speaker 3: go to David.
- 3:23Speaker 1: Hello, David, Hi, David. What's your good boy's name. My
- 3:29Speaker 1: little girl's name is Amber. She's a fuck carrier. Oh, David,
- 3:36Speaker 1: you're cutting out, David, call us back, David. Oh wait,
- 3:40Speaker 1: now stay right there.
- 3:41Speaker 3: We'll move.
- 3:42Speaker 1: Okay, now go ahead. And so it's a thing, a
- 3:45Speaker 1: fox terrier named Amber.
- 3:46Speaker 4: And yeah, so when I go full love mode on her,
- 3:52Speaker 4: I curls her up in both my arms and.
- 3:55Speaker 1: I'll have one hands scratching on a butt.
- 3:58Speaker 4: I'll have the other hand I'm scratching like on her neck.
- 4:02Speaker 5: Then I'll take.
- 4:03Speaker 1: My chin and I U d rub her ear like almost.
- 4:08Speaker 3: As if like another dog licking it, just to give
- 4:11Speaker 3: her that extra little love and simulation.
- 4:14Speaker 1: This is disgusting. This is porn This is nearly pornographic.
- 4:19Speaker 1: David Bill, Well, yeah, I wish you would do that
- 4:24Speaker 1: to me. David.
- 4:26Speaker 3: All right, thanks David.
- 4:27Speaker 5: I'll come back to Utah and visit.
- 4:28Speaker 4: Thanks.
- 4:29Speaker 3: All right, all right, hey David, thank you. That's I
- 4:31Speaker 3: go to Michael.
- 4:32Speaker 4: Hey, Mike, hey, thanks for letting me listen.
- 4:35Speaker 1: Yeah, what kind of animal do you have?
- 4:38Speaker 4: So we've got two pity bulls and uh, they're the
- 4:41Speaker 4: most pampered animals on the block. They've got their own
- 4:44Speaker 4: sort of beds. Uh, they'd get their own mobile grooming.
- 4:48Speaker 2: Uh.
- 4:48Speaker 4: Anytime that my wife and I go out for an
- 4:51Speaker 4: expensive steak dinner, we purposely don't eat all the steak
- 4:54Speaker 4: because they get the rest of it. They've got their
- 4:57Speaker 4: own they've got their own diets, they get their visits
- 5:01Speaker 4: more than they probably should.
- 5:03Speaker 3: Uh.
- 5:03Speaker 4: Yeah, they're no kids. Huh the rescue the rescue dogs
- 5:07Speaker 4: that have never had it so good. Oh yeah, no,
- 5:09Speaker 4: we got kids.
- 5:11Speaker 1: We don't bring them anything from this.
- 5:14Speaker 4: They're on their own. We're like, we're like forge in
- 5:16Speaker 4: the gardens.
- 5:17Speaker 1: Oh jeez, thank you, thank you very much. What do
- 5:22Speaker 1: you do that's ridiculous to pamper your your pets. What
- 5:26Speaker 1: do you say, ridiculous, I say they listen, I got
- 5:30Speaker 1: to I've got to confess that I pamper Klaus. I
- 5:34Speaker 1: have stopped encouraging him to run away. How I pamper him?
- 5:42Speaker 3: You can hang all right, Let's go to a good
- 5:45Speaker 3: friend of the program, Alison Sabo.
- 5:47Speaker 6: Alison, Yes, Hi, So my little dog Fiona.
- 5:54Speaker 7: She has recently been diagnosed with kidney failures and he
- 6:00Speaker 7: doesn't eat the kidney specific chow or anything like that.
- 6:04Speaker 7: So one one way I pamper her if she's just
- 6:09Speaker 7: gonna get wet chow for.
- 6:10Speaker 6: The rest of her life, and I don't know how
- 6:13Speaker 6: long that life is, but I've worked it into the
- 6:15Speaker 6: budget so that she can have wet chow also also
- 6:19Speaker 6: on Sundays, since I'm not really like a fancy food
- 6:22Speaker 6: for my dog type dogs type person. Both dogs get
- 6:26Speaker 6: brunch where and they know what brunch means. They go
- 6:30Speaker 6: and they sit next to where I store the wet chow,
- 6:33Speaker 6: and Gypsy's like, oh, it's time for brunch, and he
- 6:37Speaker 6: goes and he sits there and he gets two of
- 6:40Speaker 6: his little Caesar containers, and Fiona gets her normal chow
- 6:44Speaker 6: because she can't have she can't.
- 6:45Speaker 7: Have regular store chow anymore. But they know on Sundays
- 6:50Speaker 7: at like eleven o'clock in the morning, eleven thirty, they get.
- 6:54Speaker 4: Brunch like that.
- 6:57Speaker 1: Great. Thank you, all right, I love you eight six
- 7:02Speaker 1: zero two nine six nine six. What kind of ridiculous
- 7:06Speaker 1: lengths do you go to to pamper your pets.
- 7:09Speaker 3: Let's see, since my fin got cancer, he only gets
- 7:13Speaker 3: the best single ingredient treats duck feet, chicken feet, beef heart,
- 7:19Speaker 3: including a whole duckhead once a month.
- 7:22Speaker 1: Or do you get a whold duckhead? Don't you get
- 7:24Speaker 1: it off a duck? I see.
- 7:27Speaker 3: Katie's vax and Lucy get duck and chicken feet for
- 7:31Speaker 3: their teeth, the actual feet, the feet. Yeah, don't knock
- 7:36Speaker 3: the blueberry facials. Yeah, for a dog with lighter hair,
- 7:40Speaker 3: it really helps get the stains from food off their face.
- 7:44Speaker 3: I get it for my golden doodle, but not my
- 7:46Speaker 3: brown pood.
- 7:47Speaker 2: Don't knock the blueberry facial.
- 7:51Speaker 3: I pamper my pitull pitbull gus by wrestling with him,
- 7:54Speaker 3: and the winner gets a Sardine's.
- 7:57Speaker 1: Dawson Dawson at Dawson. My guess is that you don't
- 8:01Speaker 1: get the sardine very often.
- 8:04Speaker 3: Let's see. Our two pities love ice in their water.
- 8:07Speaker 1: Oh, I put ice in my dog's water.
- 8:09Speaker 3: We have an ice machine.
- 8:10Speaker 1: It has to be pebbleized, though it doesn't.
- 8:12Speaker 3: We have ice. We have an ice machine just for them,
- 8:14Speaker 3: but they prefer the smaller cubes to the nugget. Yes,
- 8:20Speaker 3: let's see. I have two setters. My male has a
- 8:23Speaker 3: gold chain necklace and my female has a pearl. They
- 8:28Speaker 3: both have a bounty of Bendana's too. They are pampered
- 8:34Speaker 3: with accessories.
- 8:35Speaker 1: Line one.
- 8:35Speaker 3: Let's go to line one.
- 8:36Speaker 1: This is Meggie, Hi, Meggie, Hello, what sort of pet
- 8:42Speaker 1: do you have?
- 8:45Speaker 8: I have a cordy Chihuahua. Her name is Lena Dell Dog.
- 8:50Speaker 1: Alena Dell Dog.
- 8:52Speaker 2: I love it already, and.
- 8:56Speaker 8: And I used to pamper her like crazy until we
- 9:00Speaker 8: went on a two week road trip. I left our
- 9:03Speaker 8: friend who was watching our dog at our house, an
- 9:05Speaker 8: exhaustive list of how to pamper her. And when I
- 9:09Speaker 8: got home, I said, was the list helpful? And he said, oh,
- 9:12Speaker 8: I forgot to even read it. And I was like,
- 9:15Speaker 8: oh my god, Yes, my dog is just a dog.
- 9:17Speaker 8: I don't need to be pampered. So she doesn't get
- 9:19Speaker 8: tampered anymore.
- 9:20Speaker 1: Oh no does she does? She has she gone into
- 9:24Speaker 1: a deep depression.
- 9:27Speaker 8: No, she's actually a better dog not having me hamper
- 9:30Speaker 8: her like I was.
- 9:32Speaker 1: A little bit more. She was spoiled.
- 9:36Speaker 8: She was way too spoiled. And it made me realize. Yeah,
- 9:39Speaker 8: she's just a dog. He's fine. I just have the
- 9:41Speaker 8: feed her and take her own walk, puddler. She's good.
- 9:43Speaker 1: Yeah, just a just a dog, not a child another
- 9:47Speaker 1: just a dog. Yeah makes sense.
- 9:49Speaker 8: But I do want to make fun of my mother,
- 9:51Speaker 8: who her cat wakes her up every morning for a
- 9:54Speaker 8: doll up of whipped.
- 9:55Speaker 3: Creams morning, a dollop of whip bed I need a
- 10:01Speaker 3: dollup of whoop cream.
- 10:02Speaker 1: I mean like a little like a little squirt or
- 10:04Speaker 1: ready whip or something. Is that what that is?
- 10:06Speaker 8: Yeah, exactly on a paper towel.
- 10:09Speaker 2: It's then if you could have someone bring you a
- 10:11Speaker 2: dollup of whipped cream every morning, wouldn't you do that?
- 10:14Speaker 1: I mean I I used to be able to do that,
- 10:17Speaker 1: but I gave it up. Oh thank you, all right,
- 10:22Speaker 1: thanks Maggie. It's time for my wi eight seven seven
- 10:28Speaker 1: six two nine.
- 10:31Speaker 3: Mide Let's see sketchy blakes is when I make Sunday
- 10:35Speaker 3: breakfast for the family. Remus, a toy doodle gets a
- 10:38Speaker 3: pancake top with a with peanut butter, bacon.
- 10:41Speaker 1: And eggs. Let's see it can't be good for the
- 10:45Speaker 1: animal's health. I no, I don't know.
- 10:49Speaker 3: Let's see Kelly of Kelly and the sheetsus here. After
- 10:52Speaker 3: I kicked after I kicked out the bed, after I
- 10:55Speaker 3: kicked out the bad husband, the sheet zoos took over
- 10:58Speaker 3: his side of the bed. They sleep on fluffy pillows.
- 11:04Speaker 3: I pamper my dog by giving him heated blankets. He
- 11:07Speaker 3: has stolen multiple heated blankets for me. At this point,
- 11:11Speaker 3: we just got him his own heated bed too. He's
- 11:13Speaker 3: a beautiful five year old boxer that is book smart,
- 11:16Speaker 3: not street smart. Let's see.
- 11:19Speaker 1: Uh, who's line one?
- 11:21Speaker 3: Let's go to line one. Hello, we have Kimberly.
- 11:25Speaker 1: Hi, Kimberly, what do you got? What kind of animule? I?
- 11:30Speaker 5: So I live in Idaho and we take care of
- 11:32Speaker 5: animals differently up here. But I have a thirty year
- 11:36Speaker 5: old mule and her name is Aunt Jeff, and she's
- 11:42Speaker 5: been seeing a lot of her teeth. Uh huh, and
- 11:44Speaker 5: so we soak her pellets so she has kind of
- 11:47Speaker 5: a soup, and then we shake off all the alf
- 11:50Speaker 5: alpha leaves from the hay, so she gets a special salad,
- 11:54Speaker 5: and she gets a half a loaf of white bread
- 11:56Speaker 5: every day.
- 11:57Speaker 2: This is the best call we've had.
- 11:58Speaker 1: Put her down an old mule named what what? What's
- 12:01Speaker 1: the mules name?
- 12:03Speaker 5: Jeff?
- 12:04Speaker 3: Aunt Jess?
- 12:06Speaker 1: Can you Jeffrey, Oh, Jeff, can you? Can you send
- 12:10Speaker 1: us a picture? A picture of ant?
- 12:12Speaker 3: We'd love to have a picture. I radio from Radio
- 12:17Speaker 3: from Hell at x nine six dot com the way, and.
- 12:20Speaker 1: If it's if it's a fairly good quality, we may
- 12:23Speaker 1: even blow it up and hang it in the studio
- 12:25Speaker 1: absolutely and dedicate every show to Aunt Jeff.
- 12:30Speaker 3: It's the best call. I will be that all right.
- 12:33Speaker 1: Thanks. Thanks kimberly By.
- 12:36Speaker 3: Eight seven seven six oh two nine six nine six.
- 12:39Speaker 3: Let's see my cat has his own full sized chair
- 12:43Speaker 3: in the living room. He also likes to sit on
- 12:46Speaker 3: the chair and be around us while we eat dinner.
- 12:49Speaker 3: Let's see I work for a groom shop. The blueberry
- 12:52Speaker 3: facial is just a shampoo that can be used all
- 12:55Speaker 3: over the body. Also, the toothbrushing is just an ends
- 12:59Speaker 3: and toothpaste that we stick on their back teeth if
- 13:03Speaker 3: they won't let us brush in their mouth.
- 13:05Speaker 1: Okay, yeah, now that makes sense. If it's just a shampoo,
- 13:08Speaker 1: you can use it ever.
- 13:10Speaker 2: Crushing up blueberries and them on their face.
- 13:12Speaker 3: Yeah, let's see U. I pamper my cat Luna by
- 13:16Speaker 3: giving her ice water. I did it once when she
- 13:18Speaker 3: was a kitten, and now she demands ice water every
- 13:23Speaker 3: time we get McDonald's breakfast. Both our dogs get their
- 13:25Speaker 3: own hash browns and they get to split an order
- 13:30Speaker 3: of scrambled eggs. It's always worth it. Let's see. Both
- 13:35Speaker 3: of my pitbulls have their own mink blankets for beds. No, no,
- 13:37Speaker 3: not mink, minky.
- 13:39Speaker 1: Those are hundreds of dollars.
- 13:42Speaker 3: Those are expensive blankets. I baked from scratch doggy cupcakes
- 13:48Speaker 3: for Gotcha Days, Thanksgiving and Christmas. I also get stocking
- 13:52Speaker 3: stuffers for them Christmas both. Sure you got to do that?
- 13:55Speaker 1: We do that.
- 13:55Speaker 3: They have their own Christmas stuff. My husband d bones
- 14:00Speaker 3: chickens from Costco for our cat and dog. I cook
- 14:03Speaker 3: the dog fresh veggies. Broccoli and carrots are his favorite,
- 14:06Speaker 3: and fish. He's a ninety pound doodle sleeps with us.
- 14:10Speaker 3: Also gets the SPA treatment, when he gets a haircut,
- 14:13Speaker 3: playdates with friends. Their lives are too short not to
- 14:16Speaker 3: pamper and spoil them. Let's see Harlow, my golden retriever,
- 14:21Speaker 3: is my baby. Everybody who knows me knows Harlow comes first.
- 14:25Speaker 3: She has a better wardrobe than I. Bandana's leash and
- 14:30Speaker 3: harness collars. It's out of control. Let's see my wife
- 14:36Speaker 3: is sent in ours. Oh yes, Hudson got salmon last night.
- 14:43Speaker 1: To deep make sure it's all the bones right.
- 14:45Speaker 3: Yes, yes, she says, I'm not letting Hudson listen to
- 14:48Speaker 3: this segment because it sounds like we really need to
- 14:51Speaker 3: step up our pampering game. And at brass Weys in
- 14:58Speaker 3: how he pampers his pets. Yeah, Foster's logger, All right,
- 15:02Speaker 3: Well there you go, Cana Fosters
