- 0:23None. Hamster with a blunt.
- 0:34Penknife for doing quicker, quicker.
- 0:40Quicker Hello ladies and gentlemen on the Internet, and
- 0:42welcome to Hamster with a Blunt Penknife, the Doctor Who
- 0:45commenting podcast. This is my first run at the War
- 0:51Machines and we're up to episode 3.
- 0:54I'm here with the the usual host of this podcast, Mr. Jill Ford.
- 0:58Hello there. Yes, I'm delighted to be here
- 1:00today with two very handsome Scottish men.
- 1:05When? When are they coming up?
- 1:06When are they? When are they coming?
- 1:08When we're finished, will you hurry up?
- 1:10All right. And my erstwhile colleague from
- 1:15the Polish Box, Lee, is also with us here.
- 1:19Good evening. Do you know, I've actually got a
- 1:21question for you, Cam, if you don't mind, before we go into
- 1:24Episode 3. Let's Go Episode 3.
- 1:26Ma, This is good. This is good.
- 1:27I'm enjoying this. My my question for you is this
- 1:30is since you have never seen this before and I would like to
- 1:34know that you have been paying attention to what's been on the
- 1:36screen in front of you. If you could just detail the
- 1:39plot of the war machines to date for the listeners you know that
- 1:44may not have heard episode one and two, off you go.
- 1:47To date, the Doctor and Dodo have landed in 1960s London.
- 1:54There is a artificial intelligence programme been
- 1:57developed in a supercomputer called Woltan.
- 2:00It seems to have taken something of a turn for the worst and
- 2:03started to develop massive war machines, as the title suggests,
- 2:07capable of killing everything and taking over the world.
- 2:10Production of them starts in London and then goes to
- 2:13Washington and Moscow. That story sounds amazing.
- 2:17Why are we watching this shit? Hey, you know, sorry.
- 2:22Oh yeah, I was forgetting this is something.
- 2:24Favorite favorite Doctor Who episodes?
- 2:25Come on. Well, let Lee it's your
- 2:27favorite. Do us the honour and count us
- 2:29into Episode 3. OK, war machines part three and
- 2:33three, two and one and go. I have to say, you know, you
- 2:40boys are very easy company. I don't mean that in a rude way.
- 2:46You've been completely in the toilet, always have you?
- 2:49No, no, I was just means I can tell you do this sort of thing
- 2:52you know professionally not well it's not.
- 2:55Professionally. Well, Professionally.
- 2:57Are you paid for this? They go beeping.
- 3:04That's right. War Machine in action.
- 3:06OK, Lee. Yes.
- 3:09Are war Machines cut price? Daleks do.
- 3:11You know what? I don't.
- 3:12I don't think they are because that's not what they're aiming
- 3:14for. And of course there's blindingly
- 3:16overly similarities between the two.
- 3:18But if they were trying to, I think we're beyond the point now
- 3:22in the 60s where they're trying to find the new Daleks all the
- 3:25time, then maybe that's maybe a bit of an argument.
- 3:26They try to do that with the quarks later on and Patrick
- 3:29Trouton's run. But yes, there's similarities,
- 3:31but they're supposed to be tanks, aren't they?
- 3:34They't. Not really supposed to be
- 3:37anything else other than that. There's supposed to be war
- 3:39machines. So yeah, I don't.
- 3:42I don't think it's a conscious effort on a part of the
- 3:44production team trying to ape the Daleks.
- 3:45Well, question two then is do you think it's a good design?
- 3:48It's functional. That's what it's supposed to.
- 3:52It could probably do for a little bit of tidying up, but
- 3:56you know what? It works for what it is.
- 3:59They're going to have a fearsome vehicle kicking.
- 4:03When you when you call a Doctor Who story functional, it's not
- 4:05usually a complimentary term, you know.
- 4:07We'll go with that. Yeah, but it's it's it.
- 4:11It does what it says in the tin. It's editing so far.
- 4:13I'm enjoying this. I'll be very, I'll be very, very
- 4:17impressed if somebody cosplayed at a convention.
- 4:19Oh, you know, that's that's a challenge now.
- 4:21That would like to start, Yeah, I'll put that out there to the
- 4:24world. Well, you know, cosplaying is a
- 4:26war machine. You know how some women do like
- 4:30sexy Tardises and things like that?
- 4:32You know they do TARDIS dresses and things?
- 4:35Someone trying to do a sexy war machine?
- 4:39Oh no. Do you know what you could do?
- 4:40You could have those pipes coming off your tears, like
- 4:43spurting out. Fire extinguishers.
- 4:47OK, I'm getting desperate. Well, it's time for Polly's
- 4:51possessed acting here. What do you think about Holly
- 4:54and Ben as, like, do you think that was a savvy move, bringing
- 4:58in contemporary companions after everything that we've had
- 5:01before? Like, do they?
- 5:03Do they generate good stories going forward?
- 5:07Do you know what I think that possibly the first proper
- 5:10audience identification figures in docs to really?
- 5:15Because if you look at what we've had so far, from the
- 5:17beginning, we've had sort of school teachers, space orphans,
- 5:22handmaidens from ancient Greece or space pilots.
- 5:25So you know, there's not really a lot for people to recognise
- 5:28it. I mean, if you're a 10 year old
- 5:29kid watching us, Ben and Polly are probably much like your
- 5:34older brother and sister, because I'm meant to be sort of
- 5:36the way teens out of the 20s, aren't they?
- 5:39So they kind of like the cool older brother and sister, They
- 5:41sort of feel drowned leading down here.
- 5:44And of course the characteristics are kind of
- 5:46dialled up a bit because it's telly, but there's a realness to
- 5:49them and I think that's part of their appeal as they do feel
- 5:53like actual normal people. Only one thing.
- 5:56I objected to your summation there, and that is I find it
- 6:00baffling that you cannot identify with a handmade from
- 6:03ancient Greece. What were they thinking?
- 6:06I mean, how would that? Ever work been an ancient Greece
- 6:12and that above and made in English sometimes of me of.
- 6:15Course, yes. Just just so did you?
- 6:21Well, in a few episodes of The Dalek's Master Plan that you can
- 6:23see where she's just going around going, you know, we'll
- 6:26never reach the place of perfection.
- 6:29We can't do that every bloody week.
- 6:32Can we go? On that's budget hen.
- 6:37Oh look, there's time for a little drink there.
- 6:39Look in between all the chaos there.
- 6:42We go couple of shots before dealing with.
- 6:44They're not drinking coffee now. Cams.
- 6:47No, no, this isn't the Inferno Bar anymore.
- 6:50I. Think that was a little shot of
- 6:52vodka we had there, actually. Hart was brilliant here though.
- 6:54I think he's really good at stressing the threat that's
- 6:59coming. He's got a bit of gravity.
- 7:01About him. He's definitely given it all.
- 7:03He's all in this story. He's getting his defense here,
- 7:05isn't he? What's strange is like the show
- 7:10would normally, like, always rely on the Doctor's wit because
- 7:14honestly, we've not really had the money to do the action
- 7:17sequences that you're going to get towards the end of this
- 7:19episode. So what's very strange is there
- 7:23and in the climax of the story, the Doctor's sort of not around
- 7:27because the soldiers are taking care of most of the action, and
- 7:30then he just sort of steps in at the end of the episode.
- 7:33It's just it's it's rare for him to be so away from the action.
- 7:37Yeah, I mean sometimes, sometimes come up with ideas
- 7:40like, you know, trapping the war machine and the wrestling ring
- 7:42that we see later on. So he's going to involve, but
- 7:45not I can't let our physical action sense and that's going to
- 7:47dole out between Ben and Polly and the soldiers.
- 7:51Wait a minute. I owned wrestling.
- 7:52This is going to get way better. It's going to get even.
- 7:54Better. Oh, yeah, There's a me treat for
- 7:55you in half four coming up. Oh.
- 7:57Fantastic. I mean, there's a ring, but
- 8:00there ain't too much wrestling going on in there.
- 8:02I'll be the judge of that, OK? There's nothing.
- 8:06No one's getting greased up or anything, I can assure you.
- 8:09Work for us? Irrigation harness them for.
- 8:14Back to your work, crawls, So we are the Tory party.
- 8:18I'm going to try and give this a a reading.
- 8:22Is it that the machine is treating human beings as
- 8:28machines? Now that the tables of terms and
- 8:32all people will just be, you know, functional biological
- 8:35devices to do it's will. But why is Votin's plan?
- 8:40That's my Did the book shed any light on that, Lee?
- 8:43Not that I recall. I might be misremembering, but
- 8:45that doesn't seem to be sort of grand major plan in place.
- 8:49I mean, you have the question Will town's attention to detail
- 8:52enemy. Because as we've just seen,
- 8:53they've allowed a guy that's wandered in their warehouse and
- 8:55rubbled the entire plot to just wander about unhypnotised.
- 8:59It'll be fine. He'll not try to leave.
- 9:03So you know, he's a bit, quite a bit fast and loose with the kind
- 9:06of arrangements here. Like you'd think there would
- 9:08just be one sequence where he, you know, gives out his demands
- 9:12to the world. Yeah, it's it's a genetic
- 9:15overall domination, but for no discernible reasons.
- 9:18Like me, it's Doctor Who villains.
- 9:20Why do you want to take over about?
- 9:22I don't really think about that and.
- 9:25He's a logical machine, so you think he might have fallen
- 9:27through just just because, All right, it's just because.
- 9:33I'll tell you what there was Design works fantastic because
- 9:36those war machines have brilliant smiley faces on them.
- 9:39They're the most cheerful killing machines you'll ever see
- 9:40in A Leaf I. Don't know until you see the
- 9:43cleaners in Paradise Towers and they're pretty chipper as well.
- 9:46Plus I've got old ladies slippers coming out of the back.
- 9:50Oh, sorry. Just a quick moment for what
- 9:52Ben's wearing right now. I approve.
- 9:56And don't you get on your high? We've got something for everyone
- 9:58here. If you've got Polly, they must.
- 9:59Not but come with the underwater menace.
- 10:01Polly's got to be decked out in nothing but shells.
- 10:04All right. You're well catered for in the
- 10:0660s. They are really good together
- 10:09though. There's a lot of chemistry
- 10:10between the two of them, isn't there?
- 10:12It should work so well. Romantic chemistry.
- 10:16No, it's been generally in acting terms, but maybe there's
- 10:18a wee bit of that as well. I mean, there's again, I'm going
- 10:21to bring out the books there. There is the implication that
- 10:24there are feelings there. They sort of bring in other male
- 10:27or female characters and they end up getting jealous and.
- 10:30Well, according to Sarah Jane Adventures, they disappear off
- 10:32to India and open an orphanage together, don't they?
- 10:34I mean, that's the sort of things that friends might do.
- 10:38Yeah. Guys, do you fancy?
- 10:40Getting. To India or an opening an
- 10:41orphanage? Final right, Stop the course and
- 10:44let's get the plane tickets. No, but you're right.
- 10:49I think, I think they they do sort of sizzle on the screen,
- 10:51don't they? And as complimentary as you
- 10:56could be about some of the other actors, Jacqueline Hill, William
- 10:59Russell, who are fantastic, it doesn't sizzle.
- 11:04Yeah. Well, that's true.
- 11:07Maybe in the Romans when they're pissed on those tokers.
- 11:10Do you remember that? Bit oh, I play it again.
- 11:13Mr. AI just don't see it all off screen as the kids show after.
- 11:17But you cut away at the appropriate point, yeah.
- 11:20Ian suggestively hit you. Keep banging on about an attack.
- 11:23But who are they? Who are they attacking, exactly?
- 11:26Everybody. Yeah, popular.
- 11:29So just like. Oh, OK, it is a little bit so.
- 11:32The whole thing about all these hypnotized humans are unaware.
- 11:34It's their own destruction. Yeah, I mean, come the ends of
- 11:38the episode, Cam. There's all these soldiers being
- 11:41murdered and they're opening fire with their machine guns and
- 11:45the old machines are plowing people down and all of this.
- 11:48And we've really haven't got time to think about things like
- 11:50motivation or the end game or anything like that because it's
- 11:53all so exciting. I.
- 11:54Love how the doctors have actually been just confined to
- 11:56this office for most of. This topic.
- 12:00Hartland's not complaining. Good lapel grabbing that.
- 12:06You know, carries the vodka. Now you might feel a thing.
- 12:13I'll tell you what it is. I'll tell you what it is.
- 12:14Michael Cray's and Annika Wills, they both have a lot of energy,
- 12:18don't they? They bring like a a pace to it
- 12:22that perhaps Peter Purvis and Jackie Lane lacks a little bit.
- 12:28Yeah, because they always feel I don't want this.
- 12:31That sounds horrible to them, but there's always a certain
- 12:34staginess before this point. OK plays these being the first
- 12:41kind of proper, rounded sort of identification figures and
- 12:44Doctor Who actually feel agree with people as good as Peter
- 12:47Purvis is as Stephen, as good as Morgan and Brian as as Vicky.
- 12:51It's always just feeling just on the edge of stagy.
- 12:54Most of the time have. You seen the Celestial Toymaker
- 12:57episode 4? Good.
- 13:00He was, oh, I can't hear this, but I'm just imaginable.
- 13:03And he she was my friend. Pretty much got it, yeah.
- 13:09Annika Wills is doing her best Sort of zombie acting there
- 13:12right in front of the camera. Don't tell me you believe this
- 13:16bullshit, Doctor. Oh, come on now.
- 13:21The boy's suffering from some sort of delusion.
- 13:24He's suffering from delusions. Look at him, he says.
- 13:26Purely lack of salt. I don't want to sort them out.
- 13:2915 vodkas. Come here.
- 13:30Boy, we might just rain a note. My dear boy.
- 13:35Pissed us a lot. Like people have fucking died.
- 13:38The tramp stage, for God's sakes.
- 13:41Some of the work of an updates. Yeah, he is basically the
- 13:44Transit Authority figure here, isn't he?
- 13:47Just getting in the way. Certainly.
- 13:49Oh, like the subtitles of God Cockney.
- 13:51He's in my own head. Did it say cockney?
- 13:54Oh, I see. It was just written in Cockney.
- 13:56He just got away. He just did all those other
- 13:58irritations. Read it like Ed was like without
- 14:00the H, so it was like Ed. Yeah.
- 14:04It was a very cockney line. That was a very cockney line
- 14:07just before this, only they got exactly What more do you want?
- 14:10I'm so pleased, you know. You're all in the four, even
- 14:12noon tomorrow. The full Cockney experience,
- 14:15even though you're only washing this with subtitles.
- 14:18Yeah, I'm getting full cockney now.
- 14:20But so look at it. Look at Michael Cray's in this
- 14:22scene, fighting his way through this scene.
- 14:24He has really got some energy to him, yeah.
- 14:28I might He's not quite with the direction because it's very fast
- 14:30and PC as well. Especially in later scenes when
- 14:33we get the war machines on the rampage.
- 14:35There's a lot I can zip to these episodes, and a lot of it does.
- 14:40Come that is also what you would say about many 60 stories isn't?
- 14:43It that's true, Yeah. It's got a lot of zip to it.
- 14:46Nothing I noticed about this when I was watching it.
- 14:47There's no actually record the music for the serial at all.
- 14:51There's a couple of bits of stock music and very, very small
- 14:54excerpts, but there's no music at all.
- 14:56Like doesn't really feel like you're missing out by not having
- 14:59it. Did you get adds to the?
- 15:01Music that they play when people get hypnotized, that weird
- 15:05electronic music, I I couldn't figure out what that was.
- 15:08It's a bit of it's in it's in the info text but I didn't take
- 15:11it down. There's some sort of stock music
- 15:13from her. I don't think it's.
- 15:19I think it's kind of like cost anybody.
- 15:23Musicians that ferry to love with what we used to use for the
- 15:25original theme tune. It was a music called.
- 15:29Derbyshire. Yeah, a little short of lines
- 15:32kind of along with the lines of radio or phonic workshop.
- 15:35It's a simple sort of group I think that kind of specialized
- 15:38in that sort of sort of music, concrete sort of stuff.
- 15:41So I need to look up, but yes, that'd be better.
- 15:44Stop music that if we'll take you from.
- 15:47Did you ever get that that album they released where it was all
- 15:50music concrete that that Tristam Carey album?
- 15:55Oh man, it was awful. It's a bold, artistic move, I'll
- 15:59give them that. I remember Toby Hader was saying
- 16:02he was listening on one of his commentaries, saying he he'd
- 16:04listened to that as a kid and he goes, and it was just a series
- 16:07of bleeps and blobs. He goes, and it was just the
- 16:10most ugliest sound you've ever heard.
- 16:12And he didn't care because it was music from Doctor Who, so he
- 16:15was going to bloody well endure it.
- 16:17Oh, here we. Go look at this sound.
- 16:19The bottle didn't exist. The action's starting.
- 16:22The Army's coming in. Here's the good stuff.
- 16:25Here we go. You do a Cliff.
- 16:28A bit of sorry, Cam. No, I'm just saying this is this
- 16:31is good. This is escalated nicely, but.
- 16:33They're clever be a bit of editing when these their trucks
- 16:35rolling because only had one lorry that they could use.
- 16:38So they cut on a very specific point to make it looks like a
- 16:40continuous line of vehicles coming in.
- 16:42It's. The magic of Ferguson?
- 16:44Isn't it? It's.
- 16:44Focusing Thinking. About yeah, thinking about how
- 16:48to duplicate resources. It's all sort of familiar TV
- 16:53tricks, but just not tricks they were doing on this show really
- 16:56before. I just love it in a minute.
- 16:58I just I I couldn't believe when I was watching this earlier how
- 17:01many parts there were, how many inserts there were during this
- 17:06action sequence at the end of episode 3, Because I know that
- 17:09they could only do, what, 33 stops?
- 17:14Was it 3? Times they.
- 17:15Could they? Could they could do the tape?
- 17:173 edits like that, so things really were coming on it.
- 17:23Makes it even more of a remarkable feat when you think
- 17:25of that, doesn't it? That how limited they were and
- 17:28how they managed to put it together.
- 17:29Something like this do? You remember the quote of
- 17:33William Hartnell saying that in the sort of his last five or six
- 17:39stories, he's quoted as saying, you know, there was a great evil
- 17:43coming into the show. I think he knew he was on his
- 17:46way out, so he was starting to just kick out a little bit.
- 17:49But I'm wondering if he didn't like all of this action.
- 17:52You know, all of this action that's going on and all of this
- 17:55death. I mean, that's a bit rich
- 17:57though, isn't it? Because there's tons of death
- 17:59from Dalek's master plan, including a companion being
- 18:02physically aged to death oi, so I think it's maybe a bit a bit
- 18:09better rich to say though the ugly Evil was coming into the
- 18:11show, because there's always all these all over the place.
- 18:14It was quite a puppet strove in a caveman's head in the first
- 18:16serial. Darling invasion of Earth opens
- 18:19with that Rover man committing suicide in the Thames.
- 18:22Yeah, none of that going on here, he.
- 18:26Probably read the rest of the script.
- 18:28Mind you, can I point out, by the way, can I point out that if
- 18:31this was the Polish box, the fact that there's a unit in here
- 18:34called Orange Patrol would lead to a Scottish football joke?
- 18:37But we won't go down this. Do you know a Scottish football
- 18:41joke for this moment? That's my team.
- 18:46Which is your team? Lee, Wait.
- 18:47Wait, we should, we should point out, we should point out for the
- 18:49tape that Cameron is a Rangers fan.
- 18:51So there's lots. Of jokes about orange orders and
- 18:53prices and marches and. Marches.
- 18:58Just explain that to the listeners.
- 19:00What? Did it surprise you to know?
- 19:02I have no idea what either of you are talking about right now.
- 19:06Probably for the best. Probably, yeah.
- 19:09But the two straight people listening are going.
- 19:11Yes, finally. I'm being represented on this
- 19:14thing. Yeah.
- 19:17Look at this now, Cam. Come on.
- 19:19Oh, wow. Plenty try OS guns jamming.
- 19:23I mean, you could be in ambassador to the death right
- 19:25now, couldn't you? Yeah, I mean this is what I
- 19:28mean. Lots of fast cuts.
- 19:30PC editing, I mean, most of Episode 3 is more or less fella
- 19:34really, isn't it? Until you get to this point and
- 19:37even there's not a lot happening.
- 19:38But visually, it really pops off the screen and engages you.
- 19:43I think you look at the stories that Ferguson directs it.
- 19:47He does this, he does seeds of death, he does ambassadors of
- 19:51death. So we must have seen there are
- 19:53some similarities. They're all visually
- 19:57interesting, pacey stories. Yeah, especially Ambassadors.
- 20:01It's got that beautiful shot of the spaceman coming down the
- 20:04road, but the sunlight sort of backlight, and I mean, it glints
- 20:06off the visor at one point as well.
- 20:08Yeah, that's great, doesn't it? Gorgeous, but he does the same
- 20:10thing in the Seeds of Death. Do you remember when the sight
- 20:12of the Ice Warrior comes down the hill and he's silhouette at
- 20:15the high end? Yeah, by the sun, that's
- 20:18gorgeous as well. Look, there's that poor soldier.
- 20:20Right in the face. What the hell is in that Steam?
- 20:26Like AI like to think it's a sort of acid, you know?
- 20:28There you go. Hello, Orange patrol.
- 20:30There you go again. Hello.
- 20:31Orange patrol, yes. That's I'm getting the bowl of
- 20:34hats and the tent the vessels in.
- 20:36Yep, three tickets for the broom lawn.
- 20:39Stand now. I'm watching the action now.
- 20:44Please continue to make the Scottish jokes.
- 20:49See this is the difficult part of the podcast if you don't get
- 20:51the Skype. Watching Scottish football jokes
- 20:54alongside it, but yeah, you know.
- 20:56It does happen every now and again, you know, I'll get caught
- 20:58up with watching the programme and I'll just start talking
- 21:01completely, but that is, there's a lot of Archie Bargie going on
- 21:04here. That's a bit of festive coughs,
- 21:07yeah. Made of that steam.
- 21:10And actually, but what's surprising is it isn't just like
- 21:13a minute or two. I think it this action thing
- 21:15just runs for nearly sort of 5 minutes and it doesn't even end,
- 21:20does it? Because it ends with the Doctor
- 21:21just basically going, you know, no further, watching his lapels
- 21:25and stepping into the light. Yeah, and you don't get bored
- 21:29watching it, do you? It doesn't feel like it's
- 21:31stretched out over several minutes.
- 21:34No. So even better, Look, we go look
- 21:37how gorgeous that looks. Gosh, alive off it.
- 21:41Goes that that's sharp enough that could be The Avengers
- 21:44there. That looks really great and it's
- 21:46gone from what ailing to location.
- 21:49Yeah, we have our own location and sort of Fitzrovia here now,
- 21:53but that's just on the DVD. Can you imagine how good this is
- 21:54going to look when it comes out in Blu-ray?
- 21:56It's going to pop. It's going to be something
- 21:59special, isn't it? I love this bit.
- 22:01In a minute, yeah. Look, he's he smokes the crates
- 22:04and all of a sudden look at them.
- 22:05They're absolutely. It's like an inferno.
- 22:09It's a multi purpose tool. Is that the bit where the
- 22:12fellows? Inspire your face and set free
- 22:13on. Fire, yes.
- 22:16Yeah, this is it. Let's see.
- 22:19You can just see him running out of the back.
- 22:20There, that man there on the left who just had the megaphone,
- 22:23the soldier. I recognize him from another
- 22:25story. You know, sometimes you see
- 22:27faces from other stories. I don't know what he's in now,
- 22:30you know, I'm honest. They can look him up later.
- 22:33Look at this fella. You try any tricks like that,
- 22:36we'll open fire again. You'll be sent to bed without
- 22:40your teeth. Is he not the guy that jumps
- 22:43from the balcony in Green Death? Yes, he is.
- 22:48He is good sport. You're.
- 22:51Right. OK, cool.
- 22:52I thought it was. Yeah, the one who goes, you
- 22:55know, I cannot resist the boss. Who weirdly gets hypnotized.
- 23:00Yeah, but. Can't resist the boss.
- 23:05The Springsteen mate doesn't mean you have to kill yourself.
- 23:08We need someone to do strange hypnotized acting.
- 23:10Remember that fella from the war machines getting back?
- 23:13Actually, I think they look pretty great on location.
- 23:16They do, yeah, they do, once you see them with that.
- 23:19Can prepare to get. Hard.
- 23:20There we go. Watch this, Cliff faggot.
- 23:23All right, here we go. This is cushion in the lap time.
- 23:27Everybody else, the soldiers, they've all backed off.
- 23:31Not William Hart, No. Oh no. 1st Doctor says you want
- 23:35some? Come and get it.
- 23:37Come. OK, so.
- 23:40He does look a bit perturbed, doesn't he?
- 23:43Like it was a bit like. What the fuck have I done?
- 23:46That's what he's thinking. I've not thought this through,
- 23:51but I've committed to the no it. Is crazy.
- 23:54Though, right, there's some clarifying other, wasn't it?
- 23:58I mean now as you come to explore more of the 60s, I've
- 24:02realised, I'm talking slightly condescending me now.
- 24:04But as you do come to educate yourself more in the 60s, you'll
- 24:08probably see just how out of the ordinary this is in terms of its
- 24:13execution, certainly. Certainly, yeah, without doubt.
- 24:20Well guys, I think it's time for us to see whether William
- 24:24Hartnell is going to be trampled over by an enormous tank in
- 24:28Covent Garden. That is how he's going to exit
- 24:31Doctor Who. Are you ready to cover?
- 24:33Watch Episode 4. Let's go.
- 24:35Let's do it. Let's go #4.
