- 0:00SPEAKER_00: Here's something else that you probably already know, but the closer I got to bottom, the more uncomfortable I was, the more fucked up I felt, the more I was panicked over the next fucking meal or the next food or then paying the next whatever the hell.
- 0:16SPEAKER_00: That's when I became my best.
- 0:18SPEAKER_00: And that's that's how this whole thing for me, this divorce, this moving out, this being starred of ever of all resources because nothing was in my name for so long, it was the best thing to ever happen.
- 0:30SPEAKER_00: It res it it put it didn't even reset me.
- 0:32SPEAKER_00: It put me to a point that I'd never been.
- 0:34SPEAKER_00: I was fat, dumb, comfortable, happy, and I went from that to being uncomfortable all the fucking time.
- 0:42SPEAKER_00: I don't know.
- 0:43SPEAKER_00: I almost in a way want to fuck like sabotage a little bit just to make myself uncomfortable again.
- 0:50SPEAKER_00: And and it happens all by itself now because that's part of the prayer.
- 0:54SPEAKER_00: And you're gonna think it's crazy, Greg, but I I pray for hardship, strife, drama, bring all the emotional discomfort, physical discomfort, whatever God can heap on me, I want him to heap it on me because I know he promises, and I believe this.
- 1:12SPEAKER_00: He's only gonna give me as much as I can handle, so give me the maximum amount and help me grow from it and learn.
- 1:17SPEAKER_00: And that's when I change.
- 1:19SPEAKER_00: That's when I get positive.
- 1:21SPEAKER_00: That's when I I make this decision to push all the way through.
- 1:25SPEAKER_00: Adversity comes, I fucking want to knock it the fuck out.
- 1:27SPEAKER_00: I want to hit it square in the fucking face.
- 1:30SPEAKER_00: I just want to finish it and move through it and get to the next one and the next one and the next one.
- 1:35SPEAKER_00: It's not the end I'm looking for, it's not the sitting and being happy and relaxed and retire and all that other happy horse shit.
- 1:43SPEAKER_00: It's the it's the moving through.
- 1:45SPEAKER_00: It's the journey, it's that step after step after step.
- 1:49SPEAKER_00: When you go to retire, if that's in fact the destiny for a person, I I think that's the end game.
- 1:55SPEAKER_00: That you're finished.
- 1:56SPEAKER_00: I mean, literally, you finish on so many different levels because what's left?
- 2:01SPEAKER_00: What is left?
- 2:02SPEAKER_00: Just uh you're you're out to pasture now, and you're no longer in the game.
- 2:06SPEAKER_00: As far as I'm concerned, my friend, we can be in the game until our last breath.
- 2:11SPEAKER_00: I'd rather die bungee, jumping off of a shitty Russian bridge with somebody that has a crappy bungee cord that he put together from a mattress and a bunch of shoestrings, dying that way, screaming my bloody head off, instead of lying in structure in the hospital sucking tapioca through a straw.
- 2:27SPEAKER_00: Happy New Year, Greg.
- 2:29SPEAKER_00: I love ya.
