- 0:53saved there and there's a good number of
- 0:56them already out there uh, I don't have
- 1:00Well, I do i've got plenty of content
- 1:03tonight, but nothing It's it's many many many
- 1:07topics, uh, there's a few things that i'm
- 1:10Still grumpy about I spent most of the
- 1:13day today on state overreach Uh state of
- 1:18missouri overreach is kind of rampant And But
- 1:22the state of missouri is not alone, you
- 1:25know u.s. Government's doing it, too I
- 1:28got some grumpy things to talk with you
- 1:31about that just Tend to piss me off.
- 1:35Um, I watched A couple of shows I
- 1:39like to watch like I told you the
- 1:41ministry of foreign affairs of russia.
- 1:44They're uh, Maria zakharova and she had one,
- 1:49uh, nothing This week's this was actually Several
- 1:53days ago.
- 1:54I don't remember the exact day that this
- 1:56came out then I watched a show Their
- 1:59version of 60 minutes they have a 60
- 2:02minute program over there, which basically a news
- 2:05program I watched a uh news of the
- 2:09day from another tv, uh station over there
- 2:12that uh, just to see how they uh
- 2:17Put together the news these days.
- 2:19I watched a guy an economist and he's
- 2:21pretty cool He's sometimes on the vladimir soloviev
- 2:24show, which I like to see him on
- 2:26there His name is michael.
- 2:28Kaz kazin kazin.
- 2:30I'm not sure the Right stress on his
- 2:33last name, but I think it's kazin but
- 2:35it might be kazin, uh, but he's an
- 2:37economist and uh, it was from uh yesterday
- 2:41he gave a a little bit of Consolidated,
- 2:45uh economic issues and then uh One of
- 2:50the couple of things that are really starting
- 2:52to bother me, you know, uh this Venezuela
- 2:56deal is driving me batty, I I just
- 3:01Can't imagine that.
- 3:03Oh, we're doing What it appears to be
- 3:06that we're doing there and uh Contemplating regime
- 3:11change as if it's our job to uh
- 3:17force another country to change a regime I
- 3:23All just for the us to do the
- 3:26same thing they attempted to do in iraq
- 3:28go in and take all the uh all
- 3:30the resources, you know, I mean this this
- 3:33is This is it it doesn't make it
- 3:36better just because it's trump, let's let's let's
- 3:39make that perfectly clear Um, i'm i'm pretty
- 3:43grumpy about it.
- 3:44There was an everest whiteout with a thousand
- 3:48people uh stranded there was a Landslide in
- 3:52dagestan that cut off a number of villages.
- 3:55It's like the whole mountain collapsed and it
- 3:57wasn't snow.
- 3:57It was the Mountain itself, you know uh
- 4:01francis Francis prime minister got offed again.
- 4:07Well this guy he just quit and uh,
- 4:09macron has convinced him to stay for uh,
- 4:12Till wednesday, I think the guy agreed to
- 4:14stay till tomorrow.
- 4:16We got More problems there, uh ukraine, of
- 4:20course has got plenty of issues.
- 4:22Uh, moldova is a democratic Nightmare, but one
- 4:26of the things I want to go back
- 4:28to the un general assembly just a little
- 4:31bit There's been a ton of fake news
- 4:35out on youtube about the president Of burkina
- 4:39fasa giving a speech there and I don't
- 4:41understand it, but they were everywhere I mean
- 4:45all over And talking about the president saying
- 4:49the president of burkina fasa saying that they
- 4:52weren't uh going to allow the west to
- 4:57steal their gold or other resources anymore and
- 5:00it's I mean, although he holds those Ideas
- 5:05He wasn't even the one that spoke at
- 5:07the un and so You know when I
- 5:10saw the news clippings about it in a
- 5:12number of different places I went out tried
- 5:14to find it because burkina faso they used
- 5:17to be french.
- 5:18Um as the What do you call it
- 5:21the main language in burkina faso?
- 5:23But uh now They've they still use french,
- 5:27but it's no longer one of the official
- 5:28languages and they use for uh, You know
- 5:32african languages over there, although they're quite multicultural
- 5:35and they also speak english quite a bit
- 5:38and so the the allegation was or the
- 5:41the the news that there's been I mean
- 5:44a bunch of people have you know copied
- 5:47various parts of his speech and then like
- 5:51they must have aided it to Have him
- 5:54speaking in english, but I understand he does
- 5:58speak english, but not very well his language
- 6:01is french and then he speaks a bunch
- 6:03of the uh, the local languages and it's
- 6:06like I don't understand who or why is
- 6:10creating these Lies online, but you know, I
- 6:13just want people to be careful I try
- 6:15to be pretty careful when I go out
- 6:17and hunt down the news and try to
- 6:20you know source it from other places, too
- 6:23Uh, but jeez, I don't want it to
- 6:26be so bad that I don't trust Trust
- 6:29anything from anywhere.
- 6:30I don't trust any of the mainstream ones,
- 6:33but I still listen to them You know,
- 6:35I just make sure to listen to them
- 6:36from several different places You know, I still
- 6:39I still follow a good amount of uh
- 6:41of american news channels as well And so
- 6:45at any rate uh jai shankar Uh gave
- 6:49and we're gonna listen to a clip of
- 6:51uh, jai shankar.
- 6:52I I talk about him rather frequently And
- 6:55there were two things one's only a four
- 6:57minute clip and the other one's 11 and
- 7:00I do plan to get to those uh
- 7:02today because he is just he has a
- 7:05great way of putting things and when you
- 7:08see the commentaries afterward and one of them
- 7:10is Month old or so.
- 7:12The other one was last week at the
- 7:14un general assembly where he spoke and I
- 7:18think it's it's india I don't I I
- 7:23think india has a a great approach and
- 7:27and I think he sets off Because these
- 7:31western and this one that was a month
- 7:33or two ago Uh is a pretty good
- 7:36example how western journalists attempted to beat up
- 7:40on him And he's just like, you know,
- 7:43uh, oh well, you know He put them
- 7:48in their place.
- 7:49Let's put it that way.
- 7:50And so I like watching him I want
- 7:52to follow his uh what he did at
- 7:55the un just uh in the last few
- 7:57days And then I you know, I want
- 7:59to talk about a little bit about what's
- 8:01going on in france and germany and uh,
- 8:04you know, uh diplomacy versus uh, you know,
- 8:08the uh forced diplomacy of america in uh,
- 8:12Venezuela these days I suppose is where we're
- 8:15going with that Rubio goes down tries to
- 8:18get the guy to leave and give uh,
- 8:20and give uh, all of the uh Oil
- 8:25to american companies, you know, and and I
- 8:28think I mean my belief is that that
- 8:30is in part to put pressure on russia
- 8:34Because if the u.s can, you know
- 8:36put other pressures on the market then they
- 8:40can force the uh, Uh the over supply
- 8:43and then what russia has will be less
- 8:45valuable allegedly And you know, there's there's a
- 8:49lot of stuff going on um, and i'm
- 8:52not so sure That trump and company Are
- 8:57the good guys on the international stage?
- 9:00Um, i've worried about us for a long
- 9:03time and I I always worry about us.
- 9:07It's just Uh frustrating to me on the
- 9:10trump and venezuela, we'll get to that a
- 9:13little bit later in the show, but what
- 9:16I thought I would start with would be
- 9:19the burkina faso the guy that You know
- 9:23regardless of all the nonsense on the internet
- 9:26right now being posted about this young.
- 9:30Um, President Traore or however, you pronounce his
- 9:35name.
- 9:36He's he's pretty pretty impressive to watch and
- 9:39to listen to if you get the correct
- 9:42translations, but i'm I'm afraid of them, you
- 9:45know, I take take most of that with
- 9:47a little bit of grain of salt.
- 9:49However most of the west You know, they
- 9:53a lot of countries in africa have booted
- 9:55out the french.
- 9:56They're anti-colonialist and they've been trying to
- 10:00Profit from their own resources what the u
- 10:03.s is allegedly Seems to be attempting to
- 10:07do in venezuela The people in africa have
- 10:10been booting out the europeans over the last
- 10:12few years and accepting russia india china to
- 10:19come in and fund them or or help
- 10:21back them or Trade with them without telling
- 10:25them what they will do and without installing
- 10:28a western company in a western, uh financial
- 10:32system, so And burkina faso is no No
- 10:38exception to that rule and what it looks
- 10:42like is that there's kind of a reality
- 10:44check going on in the world for the
- 10:47west And I you know, yes, it has
- 10:50to do with bricks countries.
- 10:52It has to do with the global south
- 10:55Definitely has to go with the countries of
- 10:57the shanghai cooperation Organization has to do with
- 11:01with russia india china that's turning into a
- 11:05stronger and stronger uh block between the The
- 11:09two.
- 11:10Oh, um, I meant to say that I
- 11:12and I missed this it's on my little
- 11:14list here, uh to speak about Tomahawk missiles
- 11:18as well.
- 11:19I mean what kind of a nightmare is
- 11:21that?
- 11:22You don't know whether he authorized him or
- 11:24not.
- 11:25Well, i'm not sure what went on with
- 11:27that It's it's like he seemed a little
- 11:30confused on the stage today and yesterday when
- 11:33talking about these issues Well, i'm really you
- 11:35know, I think I I think I was
- 11:37gonna give them to nato But I guess
- 11:39we got to see where we're going with
- 11:40those Something is screwy going on here.
- 11:44You either gotta cut.
- 11:45Yeah.
- 11:45Well, don't get me started on that topic
- 11:48I probably won't leave it but let's talk
- 11:50about who from from burkina burkina fasa who
- 11:53actually talked because what's been going on for
- 11:55generations is the Gold For the from these
- 12:01places which is one of their biggest assets
- 12:03has been funneled to the west And now
- 12:06they want to funnel it keep it themselves
- 12:09keep it in africa or you know Sell
- 12:11it as they see fit and they're doing
- 12:13other things So who spoke at the u
- 12:16.n. General assembly this year That the general
- 12:19debate was prime minister rimtolba gene emmanuel odryego
- 12:27Not president traore And so the viral clips
- 12:32of traore everywhere on the u.n. Generally
- 12:35general assembly stage Promising the west isn't going
- 12:40to get any gold are just I don't
- 12:43know what motivational remixes.
- 12:45He does have that theme, but it sure
- 12:47wasn't in the General assembly this year.
- 12:51The policy is definitely real and they rewrote
- 12:54their mining code in 2024 to expand their
- 12:58own state stake and they asserted preemptive rights
- 13:03and nationalized a bunch of Assets and they
- 13:06said they were going to continue to do
- 13:08so if there are going to be any
- 13:09disputes Trading halts and company panics followed As
- 13:16they want a more than 50 percent control
- 13:18in their own Projects and what that means
- 13:22it's not a blanket export ban, but resource
- 13:26Nationalism with a great deal of teeth.
- 13:28They're going to take a Higher state take
- 13:31tighter controls and strategic equity.
- 13:33So in plain English Burkina Faso is not
- 13:37going to be controlled by the west anymore
- 13:40But the meme goes way too far, you
- 13:43know The substance is real most of the
- 13:46capitals in the sahel are telling paris and
- 13:48london, you know, no more No more colonialism.
- 13:52We're we're we're out And so I think
- 13:55that's important for people to know um this
- 14:00Uh, why don't we jump into the trump
- 14:03just because it's freaking driving me nuts That
- 14:08uh, you know, washington has declared a non
- 14:12-international armed conflict Now, what does that mean?
- 14:17I mean you're here making up terms.
- 14:20I mean there i've read several reports today
- 14:23that say there's some sort of a top
- 14:26secret document that says that uh, They can
- 14:31go to war against these cartels because of
- 14:34a threat to america and american security So
- 14:38you can blow up a speedboat in the
- 14:40middle of the ocean without any sort of
- 14:46Let's say I mean imagine you're out in
- 14:48your boat and on the uh, Lake of
- 14:51the ozarks and all of a sudden somebody
- 14:53has decided from washington That you're a drug
- 14:57dealer Maybe you are a drug dealer.
- 14:59I don't know Maybe you're a drug dealer
- 15:01and you're you know headed to you know,
- 15:03wherever drug dealers go with their boats on
- 15:05the lake and the uh President decided he
- 15:10was advised that hey, there's a drug dealer
- 15:13out there cruising around.
- 15:14He's a criminal therefore Military blow that a
- 15:19-hole up.
- 15:20He's not going to be a threat to
- 15:21other people.
- 15:22Why because I donald trump said so I
- 15:25I You know Bad people exist and they
- 15:30need to be brought to justice, but you
- 15:32don't just go blow up a boat in
- 15:35the middle of the ocean, you know, and
- 15:37it's it's Not my idea justice just isn't
- 15:41okay and uh, and nobody's You declare war
- 15:46on a private individual you declare war on
- 15:50venezuela.
- 15:51How do you do that without?
- 15:53The congress I I am not for this
- 15:56in any stretch maybe someone can call and
- 15:58encourage me to change my mind, but I
- 16:00freaking doubt it and uh, Because it just
- 16:03this this is a little bit of a
- 16:06bridge too far for me And I and
- 16:09I don't like it and I see Too
- 16:12much of this stuff more and more.
- 16:15I mean, there's four boats blown up.
- 16:17Come on So you're labeling these operatives Unlawful
- 16:22combatants and then so therefore you get a
- 16:25carry out a lethal strike on an alleged
- 16:28smuggling boat in the caribbean Not in venezuela
- 16:32in the caribbean.
- 16:34No trial.
- 16:35No civilian venezuelan death Reported or i'm sorry
- 16:39and civilian venezuelan death reported by regional leaders
- 16:43He now has cut off diplomatic ties diplomatic
- 16:47outreach as of today allegedly And is weighing
- 16:51making strikes inside of venezuela Now what are
- 16:57we complaining about vladimir putin for then Let
- 17:03the guy do what he wants I mean
- 17:05if we're gonna go blow up stuff in
- 17:07iran, which you know, trump did that's no
- 17:10problem.
- 17:10Netanyahu wants it.
- 17:12Well Go ahead have fun, you know, you
- 17:14want to do it yourself in uh, uh
- 17:17venezuela Oh, geez, you know, go ahead.
- 17:20Sure.
- 17:20We can justify that That's that's perfectly legal,
- 17:23but it's not okay If your name is
- 17:27vladimir vladimirovich putin I don't Once again rules
- 17:33for thee but not for me and uh,
- 17:36definitely no rules for uh, israel zero A
- 17:39war powers act.
- 17:42It's a dodge.
- 17:43There's a supposedly a Some sort of authority
- 17:48to Sidestep lawmakers are demanding a war power
- 17:54vote, you know and targeted killing as a
- 17:57policy.
- 17:57This is not police police work at all
- 18:02regime change publicly, it's cartels Practically it boxes
- 18:07in maduro chokes oil flexibility for moscow's friends
- 18:13And signals to opec that op washington wants
- 18:16its leverage back.
- 18:18How are they going to get it?
- 18:19Start another war.
- 18:20This is what we do.
- 18:21What are the risks of this?
- 18:23They're huge maritime Misidentification escalation on shore and
- 18:28sanction spiral that pushes caracas further into bricks
- 18:32plus states And and columbia's petro even called
- 18:36for a criminal case over the killings So
- 18:40it's not like The other side isn't saying
- 18:43it, you know for me.
- 18:45It's the same old playbook With a new
- 18:48player new hashtags if you bomb first and
- 18:50brief later, you're not fighting drugs You're auditioning
- 18:55for another forever war and oil repricing you
- 18:59know Calling cartels unlawful combatants Is it?
- 19:05A necessity for our security.
- 19:08I don't think so or is it?
- 19:10a legal fig leaf You know, does this
- 19:13help us families?
- 19:15I don't think so unless those families are
- 19:18on wall street you know those people who
- 19:21you know that get to uh Move in
- 19:23and take over oil If the u.s
- 19:26does it again You know here we are
- 19:29it's embarrassing to me these type of things
- 19:32to to Once again, we're really not that
- 19:36stupid, you know, I I assume people think
- 19:40we are but Once again, it's all about
- 19:44the oil and i'm i'm just i'm not
- 19:47happy with this I am Distressed by it
- 19:51and I don't like it.
- 19:53So Let's go to a little bit about
- 20:00Ukraine and tomahawks as long as we're on
- 20:03the topic so tomahawks storm shadows Taurus missiles
- 20:09ukraine now allegedly they've been trying to manufacture
- 20:13some Inside of ukraine.
- 20:16There's been a big effort lately to uh,
- 20:18have Ukraine Manufacture its own weapons inside of
- 20:23ukraine and russia's been bombing the crap out
- 20:26of alleged factories once they find out Where
- 20:31the factory is who's getting them?
- 20:33There was a big report from I want
- 20:35to say the uh, wall street journal today
- 20:38that corruption is still extremely alive and well
- 20:41in um ukraine especially in the military industrial
- 20:47Complex if you can call it that that
- 20:49they're overpaying for everything Massively, you know way
- 20:54overpaying and a few individuals are getting rich,
- 20:58but they don't have to produce anything Because
- 21:01it's always getting blown up.
- 21:03So Put a put a fake factory up
- 21:06there wait for russia to blow it up
- 21:08pocket the money and move on That appears
- 21:11to be what's happening more than anything else.
- 21:14So what's the u.s?
- 21:15You know, what's the old trump meister doing?
- 21:17He's gonna go out and uh say well
- 21:20i'm considering these tomahawks I think I might
- 21:23have approved them, but you know, I really
- 21:24don't know I have to go see I
- 21:27may have sold them to nato and nato
- 21:29might give them to ukraine friends and neighbors
- 21:32ukraine cannot target these weapons without u s
- 21:39Intelligence just like they can't target the storm
- 21:43shadow Or the tourists without britain.
- 21:47There's one other one.
- 21:47I forget the name of it But well
- 21:49the whatever the equivalent is from france england
- 21:53and germany They must have the targeting data
- 21:56and the people To target it the intelligence
- 22:00that comes in that is why russia keeps
- 22:02saying This is an escalation beyond What what
- 22:08there is so far and It means that
- 22:12we you know We always say that this
- 22:15is a war against nato anyway, because basically
- 22:18we're fighting the whole of nato Nobody even
- 22:21hides it anymore and everything that they talk
- 22:24about is funding Funding nato germany today ray
- 22:27was raising their uh get this their retirement
- 22:31age Their retirement age they're gonna have to
- 22:34raise to 73 The germans are gonna have
- 22:37to tighten their belts because we got to
- 22:39give billions and billions to ukraine I don't
- 22:43know how much longer the germans are going
- 22:45to put up with it, especially when if
- 22:47you're ukrainian You can come over at age
- 22:5025 And get all this free state money
- 22:53just by coming over because you're a refugee
- 22:55and all this social Social stuff, but you
- 22:58can't retire by god until you're 73 If
- 23:02you're a german and worked your whole life
- 23:04in germany, but jeez if you're a ukrainian
- 23:07Just wander on over figure out how to
- 23:09get here and we'll give you a a
- 23:11free Free quarters living wage way to you
- 23:14know, pay all your bills And you know,
- 23:17hey if you if you if it only
- 23:19lasts for three four months just move over
- 23:21to austria Austria will give you three four
- 23:23months then you move over to england England
- 23:25will throw you a bone for a while
- 23:26go to france They'll do the same.
- 23:28All you got to do is hop all
- 23:30around europe as a refugee Go to poland
- 23:33go anywhere and they will all provide you
- 23:36money if you are a refugee from ukraine
- 23:40Poland had a deal the uh, a couple
- 23:42of weeks ago that they were saying they
- 23:45were going to start a recruiting station for
- 23:47young Uh, well, not young because the young
- 23:51ones aren't being picked up in ukraine.
- 23:53They are uh opening them Recruiting stations in
- 23:57poland for young for ukrainian men To be
- 24:01mobilized And now they're going to start picking
- 24:04them up in poland, too unbelievable um I
- 24:09don't know but all the ukraine's uh, uh,
- 24:12it is not adding up.
- 24:14There's uh, they want to take strikes deep
- 24:17into russia russia's bombing the crap out of
- 24:20all their uh, all of ukraine's uh Energy
- 24:25supply and uh anything gas, uh Of gas,
- 24:33um points, you know where they process gas
- 24:36and deliver gas to the public it's going
- 24:39to be a bad winter for them over
- 24:41there and they Are taken out.
- 24:45Um Airfields, they're taking out water.
- 24:50They're taking out everything and uh, Well, and
- 24:53they claim that and it's true, too because
- 24:57russia bombed the hell out of harkiv today
- 24:59because harkiv is across the border from uh,
- 25:03belgrade and uh, they Kiev did the same
- 25:08thing So they're sending over all these places
- 25:10to bomb the crap out of belgrade because
- 25:12they can reach it from there That's what
- 25:14they want to do with all these long
- 25:17-range missiles They want to bombard russia and
- 25:21their air defense with drones just like russia
- 25:23does to ukraine And then send in the
- 25:26bigger guns of these missiles and blow up
- 25:29russia's ability for oil if donald trump does
- 25:32this He's doing it to get he's going
- 25:36to allow ukraine and with us targeting to
- 25:41go and blow up russian oil refineries and
- 25:45russian Processing or pipeline points where this is
- 25:50Provided and delivered so that he can cut
- 25:54the supply India and china won't quit buying.
- 25:57Well fine.
- 25:58We'll blow up the uh, the points is
- 26:01what it appears He's thinking by this Missile
- 26:06nonsense, which is exactly what nato's wants and
- 26:09nato wants all these idiots in nato This
- 26:13is what they want.
- 26:14They want to pay triple for gas and
- 26:16then they can sanctions aren't working So and
- 26:20and they're paying double for their own gas,
- 26:23you know They're paying hell of a lot
- 26:25higher to get it from the u.s
- 26:27Than they ever would have been from russia
- 26:29And so they now With with and they're
- 26:33trying to talk the old trumpster into it
- 26:35and hell they might have done it by
- 26:36now This is the indications that he's given
- 26:39out And this is dangerous, this is extremely
- 26:43dangerous and our president is also involved Remember
- 26:48i'm generally a trump Backer, you know, he's
- 26:53hell of a lot better than the alternative
- 26:54that we've had for four years you know
- 26:56a hell of a lot better, but uh,
- 26:58you know There's a few things Well mostly
- 27:03on the international level that I just disagree
- 27:05with I don't think on the world stage
- 27:07We're playing well with others, but ukraine their
- 27:10their math doesn't add up their own domestic
- 27:14Production was damaged in poltova and lvov kiv
- 27:17has to import gas this winter and where
- 27:19are they gonna get it?
- 27:21Where are they gonna get it?
- 27:23Realistically, that means 10 by u.s. Liquid
- 27:26natural gas via poland and 90 They're gonna
- 27:30have to get from where?
- 27:33Slovakia and hungary The same russian gas laundered
- 27:39through slovakia and hungary and priced up Europe
- 27:43foots the bill tells their voters the opposite
- 27:46tells voters.
- 27:47We're just getting rid of russian gas.
- 27:49We're not going to use it And so
- 27:51these you know There there's there's uh news
- 27:56about mega deal fantasies over the winter like
- 27:59kiev is saying There's a 90 billion dollar
- 28:02us new arms package And they're boasting that
- 28:05they're going to get more patriots and mirages
- 28:09um meanwhile the uh europe's annual ukraine, you
- 28:15know bern Berlin alone is saying they got
- 28:18it that they're going to give nine billion
- 28:21to ukraine this year Ukraine is ukraine can't
- 28:25afford anything.
- 28:26They can't afford their own salary There's a
- 28:28lot of people getting a lot of rich,
- 28:29you know a lot of rich and they're
- 28:32getting it from handouts um You know, there's
- 28:37ukrainian fighters who made attacks on civilians and
- 28:41you know foreign mercenaries that were picked up
- 28:44And surrendered into russia Some of them are
- 28:48being charged in uh, uh put in prison
- 28:52Um, oh, yeah, and there was big news
- 28:54on the stolen children that allegedly the stolen
- 28:58children once again Uh, this was from maria
- 29:01zakharova today Uh, or well, i'm sorry this
- 29:04last uh speech of hers that once again
- 29:07the stolen children script has been rolled out
- 29:10in Kiev has now admitted that it doesn't
- 29:14have the list The very list it says,
- 29:17you know, there's 20 000 kids that were
- 29:19stolen.
- 29:20It doesn't have the list and they uh,
- 29:23they um You know, there are some documented
- 29:28family reunifications about 300 But there's nowhere near
- 29:3220 000, right?
- 29:35And uh the un in the un this
- 29:39this was was the one of the big,
- 29:41um, what do you call it?
- 29:43um Memes that came out just uh from
- 29:46the un general assembly And they wanted a
- 29:49kiv friendly tv Um kiv not kid if
- 29:54I said kid I didn't mean to but
- 29:56uh kiv Friendly ukraine friendly They were splicing
- 30:00in crowds to mask half empty halls Nobody
- 30:06cares anymore.
- 30:07They're they're tired of ukraine at the un2
- 30:11and so, you know, it's uh It's just
- 30:14the pattern is getting pretty simple.
- 30:16The pr is always maxed in favor of
- 30:20ukraine The supply lines, however are quite strained
- 30:24and they're gonna have to Uh do something
- 30:28over the winter.
- 30:29What are they gonna do european elites can
- 30:32admit that their gas is russian Which it
- 30:36is if it comes through hungary or slovakia
- 30:40Or keep paying a premium to the us
- 30:43and pretend.
- 30:44It's not one either way The households are
- 30:47paying twice as much as they would for
- 30:49gas And so it's just if it's the
- 30:51same gas should european taxpayers subsidized clown show
- 30:58I mean what this is nonsense and where's
- 31:01the ethical line between uh sanctions, what do
- 31:05you call it?
- 31:06cancellation of people or virtue signaling about sanctions
- 31:12And energy security and I think it's it's
- 31:16very important at this point Is is to
- 31:19where we go into jai shankar in his
- 31:22speech specifically on this topic and I wish
- 31:28that our politicians here would Speak like this
- 31:34guy speaks.
- 31:35Okay, you don't have to agree with him.
- 31:37You know, I don't really give a rip
- 31:39You know, I don't agree with everything he
- 31:41says But uh, he's pretty he's pretty solid
- 31:44with some of the things he says And
- 31:47so first i'm gonna play this I believe
- 31:50it's an 11 minute piece and this one
- 31:54was actually What was the time frame on
- 31:58this?
- 32:00Um blah blah blah blah July yeah, it
- 32:04was a couple of months ago.
- 32:05July the 23rd and uh he was appearing
- 32:10at a a Press conference with a lot
- 32:17of A lot of people these are several
- 32:21different tracks combined together because first He they
- 32:25were trying to beat up on him with
- 32:26a western journalist who gets to talk about
- 32:28how he's not He's not Uh, well he's
- 32:34he's not I don't know defending ukraine.
- 32:39He's not condemning russia like he should be
- 32:42and and they're you know Basically yelling at
- 32:44him, you know, it's like how can you
- 32:46possibly say that?
- 32:47You know that you can do this and
- 32:49jai shankar just sits there with his hands
- 32:51folded, you know and says well first of
- 32:53all well, i'll let you listen to him
- 32:56because it's if you haven't listened to him
- 32:58in the past you really ought to because
- 33:01he's uh, he's uh quite bright and it
- 33:04would be very nice if some of our
- 33:08Politicians said similar things So here we go
- 33:13Um, how do you think you'll be trusted
- 33:15by others after that?
- 33:17Why do you think anyone will help?
- 33:19delhi After you didn't help others over ukraine.
- 33:22Thank you First I would urge you to
- 33:24get the factual position accurately that I come
- 33:28in in one conflict Because it will help
- 33:30me in conflict too.
- 33:31That's not how the world works.
- 33:33Where does india fit into this picture?
- 33:35Are you planning to not?
- 33:36No, i'm sorry.
- 33:37That is exactly where I disagree with you
- 33:39This is this is the construct you are
- 33:41trying to impose on me and I don't
- 33:43accept it You cannot also sit on the
- 33:45fence.
- 33:45I look I don't think we're sitting on
- 33:47the fence just because I don't agree with
- 33:49you Doesn't make me sitting on the fence.
- 33:51It means i'm sitting on my ground uh,
- 33:54dr josh and car, um with the the
- 33:57indian government essentially ignoring Uh war crimes in
- 34:01ukraine not condemning russia not doing sanctions um
- 34:05question you then expect i'm totally sorry, I
- 34:08know what I do, uh with uh, the
- 34:11with india counting on global support for uh
- 34:15in its struggle with china its issues with
- 34:19china Um, how do you think you'll be
- 34:21trusted by others after that?
- 34:24Why do you think anyone will help?
- 34:26delhi After you didn't help others over ukraine.
- 34:29Thank you You know, it's a interesting question
- 34:33which you might I mean not you meaning
- 34:35you personally uh, but uh people might want
- 34:39to ask themselves because If I were to
- 34:41take europe collectively, which has been singularly silent
- 34:45on many things which were happening For example
- 34:47in asia, you could ask why would anybody
- 34:49in asia trust europe on anything at all?
- 34:52Uh, so here's the take uh, I I
- 34:55don't think uh I mean first of all
- 34:59I think you're mischaracterizing our position Uh where
- 35:04we've where they have for example when butcher
- 35:06happened we condemned butcher And we actually asked
- 35:10for an investigation uh into butcher in terms
- 35:14of What is happening with the ukraine conflict
- 35:17our position is very clearly that we favor
- 35:19uh An immediate cessation of hostilities.
- 35:23It's not that we've ignored it unless you
- 35:26call Phone calls to putin and zelensky as
- 35:29ignoring something Uh, so first I would urge
- 35:33you to get the factual position accurately secondly
- 35:37in terms of the connection you're making look
- 35:43You know, we we have a difficult relationship
- 35:46with china We're perfectly capable of managing it
- 35:50it's uh If if I get global Uh
- 35:55understanding and support obviously it is of help
- 35:57to me But this idea that I do
- 36:00a transaction That I come in in one
- 36:03conflict because it will help me in conflict
- 36:06too.
- 36:06That's not how the world works uh, so
- 36:09A lot of our problems in china have
- 36:12nothing to do with ukraine have nothing to
- 36:14do with russia.
- 36:14They predate it And there are I mean
- 36:17if we are getting into who is silent
- 36:20on what issue at what point of time?
- 36:22I could point to a whole lot of
- 36:23issues on which as I said, I mean
- 36:26europe has sort of Held its peace so
- 36:31I mean, it's it's a great Polemical point
- 36:35you made So I take it in that
- 36:37spirit I think as a follow-up to
- 36:40that a lot of uh, the noises i've
- 36:42been hearing both in the united states and
- 36:44here in europe is on a similar train
- 36:47that You have a problem with china, uh
- 36:50on the in the border on the border
- 36:52it's been going on for Decades now it
- 36:55is getting worse What position does that leave
- 36:58you in when it comes to seeking support
- 37:00if further incursions are done further?
- 37:03skirmishes happen at the border or within the
- 37:06border to kind of echo what's happening in
- 37:08ukraine in terms of Sovereignty issues that are
- 37:10being raised.
- 37:11Um, so I'm sorry.
- 37:13Do you mind if I interrupt?
- 37:14Please do but I want I want to
- 37:15come back to a question.
- 37:17Um The the crux of the question which
- 37:19I asked a few people in um, uh
- 37:22in the political circles in the financial circles
- 37:24What's your big question?
- 37:26And one of the foremost geopolitical strategists on
- 37:28wall street sent me this question for you
- 37:30And the question is simple if and when
- 37:32the choice comes down to it Not today
- 37:34not tomorrow, but in the future and she
- 37:36strongly believes it will for india Will it
- 37:39become in terms of support the us or
- 37:43china?
- 37:43And that will be kind of a defining
- 37:46moment that comes out of the situation that
- 37:48we face with russia right now look, uh
- 37:52Uh, number one, uh, the you know why
- 37:56I wanted to uh interrupt you in a
- 37:58way I mean i'm partly reacting to the
- 38:02previous observation You know somewhere europe has to
- 38:06grow out of the mindset That europe's problems
- 38:10are the world's problems But the world's problems
- 38:14are not europe's problems That it's if it
- 38:17is you it's yours.
- 38:19It is me.
- 38:20It's ours I think that's something And I
- 38:23see, you know reflections of that uh Again
- 38:28in terms of you know, you there is
- 38:30a linkage today, which is being made You
- 38:33know a linkage between china and india and
- 38:36what's happening in ukraine So come on guys,
- 38:39I mean china and india happened way before
- 38:41anything happened in ukraine so the chinese don't
- 38:44need a precedent somewhere else in the world
- 38:46on how to You know engage us or
- 38:49not engage us or be difficult with us
- 38:51or not be difficult with us So I
- 38:53I as I said, I mean, I just
- 38:55see this as frankly a not very clever
- 38:57argument a very self-serving one and uh
- 39:02this idea that you know Your grand strategy
- 39:07must be about how you will choose I
- 39:11will do what as all of us do
- 39:14I will weigh the situation, you know, like
- 39:17Everybody after what do how do countries eventually
- 39:20make decisions?
- 39:22There will always be two axes at this
- 39:24point I think it's an it's an understood
- 39:26accepted fact that you have the west u
- 39:28.s led you have china as the next
- 39:31Potential axis, where does india fit into this?
- 39:34Are you planning to not no?
- 39:36I'm, sorry, that is exactly where I disagree
- 39:38with you This is this is the construct
- 39:40you are trying to impose on me and
- 39:42I don't accept it Is becoming a key
- 39:44point for a transshipment of russian oil to
- 39:46bypass, uh sanctions.
- 39:48How does that serve india's foreign policy interests?
- 39:52I don't know Does whoever wrote that knows
- 39:56what transshipment means?
- 39:57Well, I mean transshipment is when you get
- 39:59it no when you get it and you
- 40:01sell it to somebody else I I've not
- 40:04even heard of anybody in india Thinking along
- 40:09those lines So yes, we do by saying
- 40:12the wall street journal report is inaccurate that
- 40:14they're quoting.
- 40:15Uh, Politely.
- 40:17Yes.
- 40:17Okay So I can say it less politely,
- 40:20but I'm not a conduit to any russian
- 40:23oil transactions.
- 40:24No not I mean listen Please understand the
- 40:27oil markets.
- 40:27There's an enormous shortage of oil There's a
- 40:30physical shortage of oil getting access to oil
- 40:32is difficult.
- 40:34I mean A country like india would be
- 40:36crazy to get oil from somebody and sell
- 40:38it to somebody else.
- 40:39I mean, this is nonsense what will or
- 40:42what is india's position on the world stage
- 40:45because if you Want to talk about one
- 40:48-fifth of the world's population You cannot also
- 40:51sit on the fence when it comes to
- 40:53foreign policy matters uh, non-alignment isn't Plausible
- 40:57if you want to take your position on
- 40:59the world stage What does it look like
- 41:01with three years of your government left approximately?
- 41:04Um, and what's up this time?
- 41:05Oh, oh two years actually two years Thank
- 41:08you for the correction or even in the
- 41:10next decade or so.
- 41:11What is india's position?
- 41:13Sitting on the fence is not an option
- 41:14to be a world leader I look I
- 41:16don't think we're sitting on the fence just
- 41:18because I don't agree with you Doesn't make
- 41:20me sitting on the fence.
- 41:22It means i'm sitting on my ground and
- 41:24my ground is actually You know, if what
- 41:28are the big challenges of the world, okay
- 41:30big challenges of the world are climate change
- 41:33I think i'm very critical to the solution.
- 41:36I can be an exemplar.
- 41:37I can be Actually an arena for an
- 41:41enormous leapfrogging of green technologies Look at terrorism
- 41:46Look at the emergence of a world order
- 41:50uh Look at security Look at sustainable development
- 41:55goals.
- 41:55I mean you take any And all of
- 41:59the big challenges of the world some part
- 42:01of the answer either comes out of india
- 42:03can be contributed to india and again, I
- 42:06I I hate to say, you know come
- 42:08it's a bit like a broken record, but
- 42:10Look, a lot of things are happening outside
- 42:14uh europe uh, we have Partly because of
- 42:18climate change for a lot of humanitarian natural
- 42:21disasters humanitarian responses in our part of the
- 42:24world today uh A lot of people look
- 42:27to us to help out The days when
- 42:30they expected europe to come which europe did
- 42:33at the 2004 tsunami the difference today is
- 42:36nobody's even Thinking of that anymore So the
- 42:40world is changing new players are coming new
- 42:43capabilities are coming but a new agenda must
- 42:46come The world cannot be that eurocentric as
- 42:49it used to be in the past and
- 42:51who will india Play with will it be
- 42:54europe and the us or will it be
- 42:56china and russia?
- 42:57Look, they're not exclusion.
- 42:59They're not exclusionary, but we are a democracy
- 43:03We are a market economy.
- 43:04We are a pluralistic society we have laws
- 43:08and contracts we Have positions on international law
- 43:14So I think that should give you a
- 43:16fair part of the answer after all you
- 43:18began the question with reference to the quad
- 43:21I mean, even though we didn't get much
- 43:23time to talk about it, but the fact
- 43:25that you have Today a grouping like the
- 43:29quad We just had its summit in tokyo
- 43:33where very important decisions were made on connectivity
- 43:37on telecommunications on supply chains on cyber security
- 43:41on in fact on maritime domain awareness It
- 43:46should tell you something which direction we're going.
- 43:49So again, I urge you that don't use
- 43:52necessarily a caricature version of one situation as
- 43:57a yardstick to pass a sweeping judgment because
- 44:00even on ukraine Do do reflect on this
- 44:04point somewhere at some point surely the conflict
- 44:08has to end Somebody will have to you
- 44:11know a set of people It cannot be
- 44:14a single country probably not we'll have to
- 44:17engage the players.
- 44:18It is our collective interest To find some
- 44:21kind of resolution Unless you're throwing up your
- 44:24hands and say this is not fixable So
- 44:26at that point, I I think people will
- 44:29need us It says a diplomat a career
- 44:32diplomat turned politician Than diplomacy and keep going
- 44:36with it.
- 44:37Thank you very much minister for joining us
- 44:39and thank you all for so I like
- 44:41listening to that guy and he Basically is
- 44:45saying I mean and he was pretty clear
- 44:48about it, you know quit Quit turning everything
- 44:51into europe, you know, you ignore us basically
- 44:54and he wasn't very harsh about it You
- 44:56know, he was uh, he was pretty decent
- 44:59about it, you know, um He was a
- 45:01little rude to the first guy, but the
- 45:03first guy was a Dork anyway, you know
- 45:07Can't believe you know, you're you're you're not
- 45:09condemning russia.
- 45:11You're buying their oil.
- 45:12Well, they're still buying their oil and uh,
- 45:15I believe that they are Passing it through
- 45:18to other players as well, but he is
- 45:20absolutely right that the large bulk of it
- 45:23is being used in india And you know,
- 45:26he's been pretty vocal about this over the
- 45:28entire three and a half year plus Conflict
- 45:35that india is going to do What's in
- 45:39its best interests?
- 45:41And he also talked about the quad.
- 45:44So the quad is is the u.s
- 45:46india japan and australia that is the quad
- 45:51and he was talking about them and how
- 45:52they are a strong regional player well so
- 45:57is Uh, the shanghai cooperation organization that india
- 46:02is an integral part of with china with
- 46:05russia with kazakhstan with many of those countries
- 46:08in the Southeast of asia and there are
- 46:12big players in there too, and they're not
- 46:15just going to Bend over he was saying
- 46:19we're not going to play How do you
- 46:23like that the arrogance of the question that
- 46:27we have to is That somehow there's going
- 46:31to be two axes, right?
- 46:33There's going to be a china and russia
- 46:37and a u.s and europe That this
- 46:41is you know, sorry.
- 46:42This is what it is We have we've
- 46:44created the bad guys versus the good guys
- 46:46and there must be conflict India is opting
- 46:51out And saying no, we don't want conflict
- 46:53with any of you Why can we not?
- 46:56Work on this side with you know When
- 46:59here it's profitable for us to work together
- 47:03and over here It's profitable to work with
- 47:06you or or somebody else or a different
- 47:09player And I think it's important.
- 47:12I wanted to get to his more recent
- 47:15uh Discussion which came out.
- 47:18Um At the un Where are we on
- 47:22this?
- 47:22Uh, let's see, I want to make and
- 47:25this one's only five minutes long, it's not
- 47:27very long and uh, so Let's see and
- 47:32he he uh Well, this is this is
- 47:37this just passed, you know, eight ten days
- 47:40ago.
- 47:40Not very long ago Uh, here we go
- 47:45excellencies friends Uh, thank you all for joining
- 47:50us, uh this afternoon uh We meet in
- 47:55increasingly uncertain times When the state of the
- 47:59world is a cause for mounting concern for
- 48:03member states The global south in particular Is
- 48:08confronted with a set of challenges which have
- 48:10heightened in the first half of this decade
- 48:14They include the shocks of the covid pandemic
- 48:18two major conflicts in ukraine and gaza extreme
- 48:23climate events volatility in trade uncertainty in investment
- 48:30flows and interest rates And the catastrophic slowing
- 48:34down of the sdg agenda Most of all
- 48:38the rights and expectations of developing countries in
- 48:42the international system Which has been so assiduously
- 48:46developed over many many decades are today under
- 48:50challenge In face of such proliferation of concerns
- 48:55and multiplicity of risks It is natural that
- 48:59the global south would turn to multilateralism for
- 49:02solutions Unfortunately There too.
- 49:07We are presented with a very disappointing prospect
- 49:10The very concept of multilateralism is under attack
- 49:15International organizations are being rendered ineffective or starved
- 49:19of resources The building blocks of the contemporary
- 49:23order are starting to come apart And the
- 49:27costs of delaying much needed reforms Is today
- 49:30starkly visible?
- 49:33So as like-minded global south countries We
- 49:38today approach world affairs united and through a
- 49:43broad set of principles and concepts And these
- 49:46include one Fair and transparent economic practices that
- 49:51democratize production and enhance economic security a stable
- 49:56environment for balanced and sustainable economic interactions including
- 50:01more south-south trade investment and technology collaborations
- 50:07Resilient reliable and shorter supply chains that would
- 50:12reduce dependence on any single supplier or on
- 50:17any single market An urgent resolution of conflicts
- 50:22that are impacting food fertilizer and energy security
- 50:27the protection of global commons including addressing maritime
- 50:30shipping concerns HADR situations environmental challenges, etc A
- 50:37collaborative leveraging of technology for development, especially the
- 50:41creation of a digital public infrastructure and a
- 50:45fair and level playing field in different domains
- 50:48that do justice to the development concerns of
- 50:52the global south Excellencies friends To get you
- 50:56get there India would propose the following points
- 50:59for your collective consideration One we utilize existing
- 51:04forums to strengthen consultations among global south with
- 51:08a view to enhance solidarity and encourage collaboration
- 51:12To bring to the table specific strengths experiences
- 51:16and achievements that we may have individually developed
- 51:21But which can actually benefit fellow global south
- 51:26members Some good examples of these are vaccine
- 51:29production digital capabilities education capacities agro practices and
- 51:37SME culture Three in areas like climate action
- 51:43and climate justice Come up with initiatives that
- 51:46serve the global south rather than justify the
- 51:50global north for discuss the promise of technologies
- 51:54on the horizon, especially AI and five Reform
- 51:59the United Nations and multilateralism as a whole
- 52:03So with those thoughts I look forward to
- 52:08hearing from you all and once again I
- 52:10really thank you.
- 52:12I think all of us know what a
- 52:15busy time this is that we move from
- 52:18meeting to meeting and I think Any time
- 52:21which any of us commit is a is
- 52:23a statement in itself So again, I want
- 52:26to say how pleased I am to see
- 52:28you all this evening So basically he is
- 52:33saying well you heard it saying, you know
- 52:38quit quit using any any Attempt to work
- 52:44with us to justify your own things that
- 52:47are going on in the north Did you
- 52:49get that part about the limited supply chains
- 52:51and the much shorter supply chains?
- 52:54remember when I gave several weeks ago now
- 52:58a Look at the infrastructure projects that are
- 53:03going on internationally by the way between huge
- 53:08players remember India signed a 10-year contract
- 53:13to run a port in Iran for them
- 53:18and That port, you know is part of
- 53:23The north-south transport corridor that they're creating
- 53:27over there and what they are doing is
- 53:30Changing the face of Asia and the global
- 53:34south the most populous area on the planet
- 53:40You know India 1.48 billion China 1
- 53:45.42 or something like that.
- 53:47It's not far behind and Growing and All
- 53:53of those areas are growing Quickly quickly quickly
- 53:57to think that we're gonna continue to control
- 54:03countries like India I Mean last week when
- 54:07we were talking about Trump's new idea to
- 54:09charge him this hundred thousand dollars How much
- 54:11you want to bet that wasn't all about
- 54:13immigration that it was more about Russian oil
- 54:19How much you want to bet that?
- 54:23I'd almost guarantee it, you know, what else
- 54:26would it be for?
- 54:27Telling an Indian they're gonna have to pay
- 54:29because And they've been doing it forever They
- 54:33have they have ten times more engineers than
- 54:35we have their education systems are pumping out
- 54:38more and I Don't know.
- 54:42I like I like listening to this guy
- 54:45There was another one that I thought about
- 54:49but I think this one Is a little
- 54:51bit too long.
- 54:53Let me see.
- 54:54I don't want to play it just yet
- 54:56Let's get how long this one goes yeah,
- 55:00it's only 13 minutes and It's the same
- 55:03thing with Jaishankar and I think who else
- 55:07is on there This one came up one
- 55:11day ago So, I don't know maybe I
- 55:17won't play it it's It's got there's but
- 55:21if it's the same topics about how they're
- 55:24there they keep talking about Adjusting how the
- 55:30international order deals with the global south They
- 55:35cannot the the structure never changes in the
- 55:39UN it's always Tilted to Europe United States
- 55:45and You know and The rules don't apply
- 55:49to us, you know, we can go invade
- 55:51via Venezuela if we feel like it, right?
- 55:54Who's gonna stop us right who's gonna complain
- 55:57about it?
- 55:58Who except Venezuela, you know, they're gonna they'll
- 56:01complain about it.
- 56:02But who else is gonna right?
- 56:04I Don't know.
- 56:06I just don't know there's Let's see, I
- 56:11want to get to a little bit about
- 56:13The poor people that Got snowed in on
- 56:22Everest Jesus that would that would suck wouldn't
- 56:25it you go there and the horrible weather
- 56:27change?
- 56:28They said it was very quick moving in
- 56:30a weather change that just all of a
- 56:32sudden there's all kind There's more than a
- 56:33thousand people stranded up there And then they
- 56:36started talking about who they're gonna charge For
- 56:39the rescue efforts to go and rescue all
- 56:42these people who climb up they should each
- 56:45have to pay for being rescued, right?
- 56:48Who I think it's gonna be a nightmare.
- 56:50I bet there's gonna be a lot more
- 56:52frozen bodies up there you ever seen those
- 56:54things on YouTube where they Jesus it's terrible
- 56:59where they go through and see all the
- 57:00people that have died up there frozen.
- 57:03They can't really Drag their bodies down that
- 57:07that has happened That's that's definitely unfortunate Let's
- 57:13see.
- 57:13We already talked about Moldova at length So,
- 57:19what do we have going on in street
- 57:23politics Georgia has lots of Western funded Western
- 57:31funded Street violence, you know Once again, they're
- 57:38to there have been four coups attempted there
- 57:41in in the last Year and a half
- 57:45they said Isn't that crazy?
- 57:49Let's see Money diplomacy and multi polarity Youth
- 57:59and bricks three thousand teens from 67 countries
- 58:04Adopted a children's peace declaration for submission to
- 58:09the UN they call it horizontal diplomacy and
- 58:15That that was an interesting story, but I
- 58:19think we're gonna Go back out of Those
- 58:28topics I just want to review one more
- 58:30time and make sure that I've covered everything
- 58:33I wanted to cover before we get to
- 58:37our News portion that we were going to
- 58:44talk about here.
- 58:45I wanted to talk about mr Kazin member
- 58:48him the economist and What they are talking
- 58:53about?
- 58:54They're talking about Creating changing the Financial superstructures
- 59:02and talked about how the 1913 fed syndicate
- 59:07created a DNA for today's cross-border war
- 59:11financing logic and so they're attempting to change
- 59:15this the house profits because the Table is
- 59:19rigged, you know, and it's it's I wish
- 59:24I could go further into his But it
- 59:26was a one-hour very interesting discussion about
- 59:31what he But it's all economics that he
- 59:36was talking about so it might not be
- 59:38all that interesting to some other people and
- 59:43Let's see, there were a couple of stories
- 59:46that I wanted to cover as well Hang
- 59:50on and let me get to them.
- 59:52Oh, no Son of a nutcracker, I Closed
- 59:58it out.
- 59:59I have to go open it back up
- 1:00:01again.
- 1:00:01Give me just a second and we will
- 1:00:04get there I apologize for that.
- 1:00:07Technology's gotten me today Let's see here Where
- 1:00:15are we?
- 1:00:16Oops wrong one and Mm-hmm, what happened
- 1:00:25there it is.
- 1:00:32Oh Sorry about that there were some big
- 1:00:39stories in France.
- 1:00:41Okay, so we were talking about Macron and
- 1:00:47his Prime Minister Guy named Edouard Philippe is
- 1:00:53in Cologne encouraging Macron to resign He wants
- 1:00:58him to call an early presidential election Due
- 1:01:01to this.
- 1:01:02I mean very deep political crisis.
- 1:01:05I mean on Monday Sebastian Likourneau became the
- 1:01:12fifth French Prime Minister to resign under Macron's
- 1:01:17Leadership if you want to call it that
- 1:01:19in two years and he stepped down Mere
- 1:01:23hours after unveiling a new cabinet.
- 1:01:26I saw something today that said he was
- 1:01:29in his his cabinet was complete for all
- 1:01:33of 14 hours and Now that he stepped
- 1:01:37down Each of them will receive 10,000
- 1:01:41euros apiece for three months and he will
- 1:01:44receive 16 thousand euros a month for three
- 1:01:48months and You know while they look for
- 1:01:51other jobs, right It's quite quite the unemployment
- 1:01:56package, huh?
- 1:01:58since taking office in 2017 Macron has had
- 1:02:02seven of his prime ministers resign including Edouard
- 1:02:07Philippe in January 2020 John Castix in April
- 1:02:112022 Elizabeth Bourne January 2024 Gabriella tall July
- 1:02:17of 2024 Michael Barnier December of 2024 Francois
- 1:02:23Beyrou of September 2025 and then Likourneau this
- 1:02:28week is the latest in its You know,
- 1:02:30his resignation is a split in Parliament over
- 1:02:34the government's efforts to pass a budget aimed
- 1:02:38at curbing the nation's rising debt and The
- 1:02:43guy says I'm not gonna be able to
- 1:02:46force anybody to come to a budget So
- 1:02:48I so I'm done and Macron should leave
- 1:02:52after the budget is adopted and announce an
- 1:02:54early Presidential election said Felipe to a French
- 1:02:58radio station on Tuesday I'm not for an
- 1:03:00immediate and brutal resignation, but the president must
- 1:03:04take the initiative He described some of Macron's
- 1:03:07choices for prime ministers Very curious and called
- 1:03:10his decision to dissolve the National Assembly in
- 1:03:142024 Disastrous, you remember that the move was
- 1:03:18prompted by his coalition defeat in European Parliament
- 1:03:21elections And it was widely seen as a
- 1:03:24gamble that backfired Produced a hung Parliament and
- 1:03:28halted much the country's legislative work Felipe was
- 1:03:32the longest-serving prime minister under Macron And
- 1:03:37during his tenure he oversaw major labor and
- 1:03:40tax reform managed controversial fuel tax That triggered
- 1:03:44the yellow vest protests remember those and he
- 1:03:48resigned in 2020 during Macron's pre-election reshuffle
- 1:03:52and he founded his own center-right party
- 1:03:55and officially declared his own candidacy for the
- 1:03:592027 presidential race if Macron is two steps
- 1:04:05down France would be required to hold a
- 1:04:08new presidential election in 2035 days a new
- 1:04:13poll found that 86% of Those questioned
- 1:04:19see the current situation as a sad spectacle
- 1:04:23produced by the political class, which is not
- 1:04:27up to the task and 51% believe
- 1:04:32the president's departure would help to unblock political
- 1:04:37impasse And you know something needs to happen,
- 1:04:41you know it's Crazy crazy stuff.
- 1:04:49Let's see the The German Elections.
- 1:04:58Here we go a German mayor After he
- 1:05:01was elected was stabbed and he was in
- 1:05:05critical condition with multiple knife wounds Iris Stolzer
- 1:05:09the newly elected mayor in a town of
- 1:05:13North Rhine-Westphalia Germany was found with multiple
- 1:05:16stab wounds and critical conditions No arrests have
- 1:05:19been made a social Democrat and labor lawyer
- 1:05:23who's 57 years old won last month's runoff
- 1:05:26election with 52 percent of the vote and
- 1:05:30Became the mayor of her decade.
- 1:05:32She was found in her apartment with the
- 1:05:34injuries and She was found by her 15
- 1:05:39year old son Said she was attacked by
- 1:05:41several men outside her home Dragged herself back
- 1:05:44into the apartment Her 17 year old daughter
- 1:05:47was in the apartment during the attack.
- 1:05:49The outlet reported the boy was taken from
- 1:05:51the scene in handcuffs wearing an evidence preserving
- 1:05:55overall Investigators said this was to prevent evidence
- 1:05:59from being covered up.
- 1:06:00We fear for the life of the mayor
- 1:06:02Blah blah blah and they don't know who
- 1:06:05it is Dear Spiegel reported that there was
- 1:06:08an alleged That there also had allegedly been
- 1:06:12a case of domestic violence in the politician's
- 1:06:15home earlier this year When the adopted daughter
- 1:06:18used a knife against her so nobody knows
- 1:06:21what's going on Lots of knife violence in
- 1:06:26Germany Unbelievable nonsense there were a couple of
- 1:06:35Opinions On the International Criminal Court members talking
- 1:06:41about that the other day and Let us
- 1:06:45get to that as well You heard me
- 1:06:52talking about the president of Burkina Faso earlier
- 1:06:56in the in the show here and Late
- 1:06:59last month Mali Nigeria and Burkina Faso Announced
- 1:07:04that they were going to withdraw from the
- 1:07:07International Criminal Court people are really getting tired
- 1:07:12of it and how how how weak it
- 1:07:14is and So It's an interesting story and
- 1:07:23under the United under the alliance of Sahil
- 1:07:26states called the AES These three countries which
- 1:07:30have distanced himself from the regional economic bloc
- 1:07:33of eco Watts, which is another Western Africa
- 1:07:36Have accused the ICC of serving as a
- 1:07:39tool of foreign powers France and took a
- 1:07:43step Another step in their quest for their
- 1:07:45own sovereignty.
- 1:07:47They're getting away from Europe since the creation
- 1:07:50in 2002 the ICC has presented itself as
- 1:07:55a universal judicial body Tasked with prosecuting war
- 1:07:59crimes crimes against humanity and genocide yet behind
- 1:08:04this noble political statement is a harsh reality
- 1:08:10the majority of the courts high-profile cases
- 1:08:13Actually involve African states the West acts as
- 1:08:18judge, but never as the accused so one
- 1:08:21of several examples in this case was a
- 1:08:25Guy detained in the Hague for seven years
- 1:08:28before being acquitted acquitted in 2019 or the
- 1:08:32case of Omar al-bashir of Sudan who's
- 1:08:36been under ICC arrest warrants since 2009 While
- 1:08:41Western leaders responsible for what they call illegal
- 1:08:44wars Such as George W Bush or Tony
- 1:08:48Blair for the war in Iraq have never
- 1:08:50even been investigated I mean you could talk
- 1:08:53about a few others as well Western crimes
- 1:08:57remain Untouched by the Hague court NATO's bombing
- 1:09:00campaign in Libya Which caused thousands of civilian
- 1:09:04deaths has never been seriously investigated the infamous
- 1:09:08tortures of Abu Ghraib in Iraq exposed in
- 1:09:122004 with photographic evidence were never pursued in
- 1:09:182020 the ICC announced its intention to investigate
- 1:09:22war crimes in Afghanistan including by US forces
- 1:09:26in response Trump imposed economic sanctions and visa
- 1:09:30bans on ICC judges and prosecutors including the
- 1:09:35chief prosecutor these measures were seen as an
- 1:09:38attempt to deter the investigation into the u
- 1:09:41.s. And Ultimately the ICC scaled back the
- 1:09:45scope of investigations practically admitting the difficulty of
- 1:09:49holding Western powers accountable and The role of
- 1:09:56Western powers, you know is great in Destabilizing
- 1:10:00this area of Africa to understand why these
- 1:10:03states believe they are right to withdraw from
- 1:10:05the ICC Somebody has to go back to
- 1:10:08the political divisions that destabilize the region one
- 1:10:11of the turning points was the 2011 intervention
- 1:10:14into Libya under the guise of protecting civilians
- 1:10:19an Action that unleashed regional chaos in France
- 1:10:23president Nicolas Sarkozy remember this spearheaded the push
- 1:10:28for intervention in Libya and then secured a
- 1:10:31UN security resolution Security Council resolution 1973 the
- 1:10:37resolution authorized Quote all necessary measures to protect
- 1:10:43civilians including the establishment of a no-fly
- 1:10:47zone and arms embargo and explicitly prohibited any
- 1:10:51foreign occupation of Libya Although framed as humanitarian
- 1:10:56intervention the resolution enabled NATO military led operation
- 1:11:03immediately went there and So, you know, here's
- 1:11:06another group of people saying look these rules,
- 1:11:10you know Never apply to you.
- 1:11:13They only apply to us Sarkozy was recently
- 1:11:17convicted in France for illegal campaign financing related
- 1:11:20to his 2007 presidential campaign Including the alleged
- 1:11:26support from Libya, but this conviction was unrelated
- 1:11:29to his decisions regarding the military intervention in
- 1:11:32Libya in UK Prime Minister David camp Cameron
- 1:11:37Launched operation elemy providing military strikes in the
- 1:11:42US President Obama authorized Operation Odyssey dawn handing
- 1:11:47down over handing over command to NATO NATO
- 1:11:51and finally NATO coordinated operation unified protector and
- 1:11:57managed airstrikes in regime change Multiple reports and
- 1:12:03parliamentary inquiries confirmed that this intervention is not
- 1:12:07limited to civilian protection, but is regime change
- 1:12:12which culminated in the killing of Muammar Gaddafi
- 1:12:15the collapse of Libya opened the doors for
- 1:12:18a flood of weapons militias jihadist groups across
- 1:12:22the entire region and Directly fueled the instability
- 1:12:26of Mali Niger and Burkina Faso that they
- 1:12:30are facing today This area's war on terror
- 1:12:34is especially tough for Mali and Niger according
- 1:12:37to UN human watch rights over 10,000
- 1:12:40civilians were killed between 2012 and 2022 in
- 1:12:46the region in 2019 ICC prosecutor Announced investigation
- 1:12:52into crimes committed in Mali By Mali and
- 1:12:56armed forces yet.
- 1:12:58The court has shown little interest in investigating
- 1:13:01international networks that facilitate the violence like arms
- 1:13:06traffickers foreign sponsors Etc and the foreign sponsors
- 1:13:12are France the UK the US and NATO
- 1:13:17including Sarkozy Comer and Obama and their military
- 1:13:20allies So by withdrawing from the ICC what
- 1:13:24Mali Niger and Burkina Faso are saying is
- 1:13:27that no self-respecting?
- 1:13:29state Can accept a tribunal in the Hague?
- 1:13:34Vulnerable only to the pressure of great powers
- 1:13:36who decide who gets to be tried on
- 1:13:39the territory I mean, it's just like the
- 1:13:43same thing in America only on a much
- 1:13:45larger scale If you got the right friends,
- 1:13:48you don't ever have to worry about trouble
- 1:13:51on your doorstep And well, if you're a
- 1:13:55westerner and you want to engage in regime
- 1:13:58change hello, Donald Trump in Venezuela and Marco
- 1:14:03Rubio in Venezuela Nonsense and nothing will ever
- 1:14:08happen to them.
- 1:14:09We might we might I might for sure
- 1:14:12Well, I will you know for sure bitch
- 1:14:14about it, but who what's gonna happen to
- 1:14:16them?
- 1:14:16Nothing same old same old It's just business
- 1:14:21as usual for us.
- 1:14:22You know, that's that's how our So-called
- 1:14:28leaders are supposed to act they're supposed to
- 1:14:32act this way so they're proposing their own
- 1:14:38AES criminal court and Prosecute crimes in Africa
- 1:14:43by Africans for Africans and of course such
- 1:14:47a court you know is Gonna be a
- 1:14:50little bit hard to input but the withdrawal
- 1:14:54of Niger Mali and Burkina Faso from the
- 1:14:57ICC You know critics argue that these states
- 1:15:00are shielding themselves from accountability But the truth
- 1:15:04is they refuse to be ruled You know
- 1:15:08judged by rules that they didn't design and
- 1:15:12they choose to build their own Mechanisms.
- 1:15:15I'm telling you a lot of these people
- 1:15:17are going into Places like Structures like bricks
- 1:15:26is what's happening Let's see Where are we
- 1:15:32gonna go after this?
- 1:15:35I?
- 1:15:36Had another opinion piece that I wanted to
- 1:15:39show Yes The Tradition Against
- 1:15:48corruption and This has to do Again with
- 1:15:54this is a commentary on Putin's speech by
- 1:15:58somebody else in his recent Valdai speech President
- 1:16:03Putin declared the age of a single-model
- 1:16:07for everyone has entered and Nations now more
- 1:16:11themselves in their own traditions and draw strength
- 1:16:14from culture faith in history across the globe
- 1:16:20Ancestral values are reawakening as globalism and cultural
- 1:16:25Imperialism are fading the world is witnessing witnessing
- 1:16:29a rising concert of sovereign civilizations Putin spoke
- 1:16:35with I can't talk with clarity about the
- 1:16:39condition of the world He said that there's
- 1:16:40no shared agreement on how the international order
- 1:16:43would be structured mankind is long Been searching
- 1:16:47for something new and the path forward is
- 1:16:50going to be marked with trial and error
- 1:16:52Turbulence and storms there are no blueprints.
- 1:16:55No authority dictates what the outcome is going
- 1:16:58to be but amid the chaos he said
- 1:17:01Nations must hold on to anchors They cannot
- 1:17:05drift in instability true anchors lies in their
- 1:17:09own culture in the ethical and religious Values
- 1:17:12that they have developed over the centuries in
- 1:17:15their own geography in the space they inhabit
- 1:17:18these forms of identity Provide a sort of
- 1:17:24compass they provide foundations on which nations can
- 1:17:28build a steady life Traditions are the heart
- 1:17:31of the compass Each tradition is unique shaped
- 1:17:35by its own history respect for these traditions
- 1:17:40Putin said is the first law of order
- 1:17:43among people and Attempts to force a single
- 1:17:46model upon the world has always failed Putin's
- 1:17:51message is still a Multipolar message just like
- 1:17:55Xi Jinping's just like Jaishankar's just like an
- 1:17:59Narendra Modi's each People must return to its
- 1:18:04own Foundations and draw strength from within I
- 1:18:08heard an interesting report the the other day
- 1:18:11that said that the reason America Has issues
- 1:18:18in finding its identity Is Because we come
- 1:18:24from so many That were you know, we're
- 1:18:28the melting pot, right?
- 1:18:30And so ours is more difficult to find
- 1:18:33now You don't think about that like I
- 1:18:36don't think about that I think we you
- 1:18:38know, you know baseball apple pie hot dogs,
- 1:18:41you know But is that really our identity
- 1:18:45or is that you know something from TV
- 1:18:48in the 70s?
- 1:18:50I don't know And so about Putin gave
- 1:18:53a clear indication of renewal of this trip
- 1:18:56these traditions in Russia he told of young
- 1:19:01women who now come out go out in
- 1:19:04clubs and bars and seraphim's and Kokoshniki headdresses
- 1:19:08the dress of their ancestors and this is
- 1:19:11no costume gimmick it's a demonstrates that Western
- 1:19:14attempts to corrupt Russian society have failed and
- 1:19:18The same current flows across the globe in
- 1:19:21China The hanfu movement is gathering pace young
- 1:19:25people proudly wearing robes of dynasties past on
- 1:19:29city streets and in public festivals in Latin
- 1:19:32America indigenous cultures experiencing a resurgence of growth
- 1:19:37I Forget how you say it Kate you
- 1:19:40are in Peru is taught again through bilingual
- 1:19:43schools and is broadcast on radio and television
- 1:19:46Indigenous music art and symbols are making a
- 1:19:49comeback across Africa Drumming and ritual once pushed
- 1:19:53into shadows during colonial rule are brought again
- 1:19:56into the light UNESCO now recognizes traditions such
- 1:20:00as the royal drummers of Burundi and Senegal's
- 1:20:03a bar drumming is treasures of mankind symbols
- 1:20:06of a continent Reclaiming its own ancestral voice.
- 1:20:10These are not just Curiosities they show tradition
- 1:20:13is alive everywhere a force that is resisting
- 1:20:18the steamroller of Globalism and restoring dignity to
- 1:20:22people once told to forget their roots the
- 1:20:26United States under Donald Trump We see the
- 1:20:29same impulse a turn from empty liberal dogma
- 1:20:34toward roots identity and history the 1776 Commission
- 1:20:40born reborn.
- 1:20:41I'm sorry under his leadership is restoring patriotic
- 1:20:45education and reclaiming the narrative of America's foundation
- 1:20:49from distorted ideology Trump is issuing executive orders
- 1:20:54to reshape how national symbols monuments and museums
- 1:20:58present history demanding that they not inappropriately disparage
- 1:21:03past Americans or betray the founding spirit He's
- 1:21:08re elevating faith and national symbols insisting on
- 1:21:13sovereign national narrative framing a culture war as
- 1:21:17one between people and the elite who would
- 1:21:20rewrite the memory of our predecessors It's a
- 1:21:25return in a pride in heritage reclaiming stories
- 1:21:29once handed over to the liberal scholars and
- 1:21:34And well to destroy and the reassertion of
- 1:21:39a nation which must grow from its past
- 1:21:41Not abandon it, you know those of us
- 1:21:44who know better have said so for a
- 1:21:47good long time Traditionalists also exist inside of
- 1:21:51Western Europe.
- 1:21:52They're not enemies of their own society rather
- 1:21:55They are an enslaved class within the society
- 1:21:58the elite suffocate them Use diversity as propaganda
- 1:22:04Preach false morality to demand that they accept
- 1:22:09being displaced by foreigners in their own land
- 1:22:12for these Traditionalists Putin's words carry power they
- 1:22:17hear in them a message of hope That
- 1:22:20their struggle is part of a wider revolt
- 1:22:23and they are not alone They will join
- 1:22:27hands with others across the world who defend
- 1:22:30tradition against the machine of globalism and uniformity
- 1:22:35at the heart of this new world stands
- 1:22:40people like Trump people like Modi people like
- 1:22:47Jaishankar and people like Vladimir Putin and Russia
- 1:22:51Russia is more than a state.
- 1:22:54It's a kind of an ideological center.
- 1:22:57It offers not a single doctrine Putin called
- 1:23:01it his political polyphony in This concert of
- 1:23:06nations each voice is distinct and is rooted
- 1:23:09in its own Tradition will we as the
- 1:23:12United States take part in this chorus?
- 1:23:16That remains an open question But Putin has
- 1:23:20extended a hand It's a hand stretched towards
- 1:23:24Trump towards those in America that resist the
- 1:23:29liberal establishment towards the West as a whole
- 1:23:33and the concept text sharpens another truth woke
- 1:23:38ism born in America Is already exhausted it
- 1:23:44is burning itself out In its own birthplace
- 1:23:47its slogans sound increasingly meaningless even to its
- 1:23:51former believers Alongside it globalism is fading its
- 1:23:57claims of universality are exposed as fraud But
- 1:24:02Europe remains trapped Europe has become a fortress
- 1:24:06of insanity and racism it cloaks itself and
- 1:24:10talk of equality while imposing Anti-values with
- 1:24:15arrogance it insists on exporting LGBTQ ideology transgender
- 1:24:22experiment and climate hysteria These are the banners
- 1:24:29Behind them lies contempt for others.
- 1:24:32This is the new liberal form of white
- 1:24:35supremacism The choice for Europe is clear.
- 1:24:39It can continue down the road of arrogance
- 1:24:43Pointlessly trying to push its liberal creed upon
- 1:24:46the world while collapsing and utter irrelevance or
- 1:24:53It can accept a new role it can
- 1:24:56rejoin the concert of civilization Not as a
- 1:25:00master of it, but an equal it can
- 1:25:03trade supremacism for dignity dogma for heritage contempt
- 1:25:08for respect history has no mercy But it
- 1:25:13does offer renewal Europe has to change with
- 1:25:17the times or sink into emptiness The storms
- 1:25:22will be strong ahead yet with firm roots
- 1:25:27civilization civilizations endure That was written by a
- 1:25:32guy named Konstantin von Hofmeister He's a political
- 1:25:38and cultural commentator from germany and he wrote
- 1:25:44the book multipolarity and esoteric Trumpism could be
- 1:25:51interesting to read either of those books, but
- 1:25:54so far I have not politico says This
- 1:26:01is this is troubling Makes me happy.
- 1:26:04I don't have an Apple, but I but
- 1:26:06I wonder if my Android is in the
- 1:26:08same same boat Siri has been accused of

- 1:27:20The whistleblower has welcomed the probe saying it
