  SPEAKER_00: This past weekend, Sunday, I had the opportunity to accompany my husband Danny, his brother Jamie, and sister Sarah, all my my SILS, to the Packer game, Packer Bear game on Sunday, and it was electrifying there in the stadium.

  SPEAKER_00: We're talking tons of touchdowns, turnovers, interceptions, picks.

  SPEAKER_00: I mean, you name it.

  SPEAKER_00: That game was just nonstop action, energy.

  SPEAKER_00: And honestly, the game is just that much more better when you're winning.

  SPEAKER_00: I loved it so much.

  SPEAKER_00: And being there with my family and seeing their excitement and happiness was awesome.

  SPEAKER_00: I mean, my sister-in-law flew in from Denver.

  SPEAKER_00: Like, this was on her calendar for a hot minute.

  SPEAKER_00: As soon as they issued tickets, she's like, What games we got this season?

  SPEAKER_00: And we're so able to spend that happy to be able to spend that time together because those are making sweet and special memories, right?

  SPEAKER_00: Like, I don't know if I can top that game.

  SPEAKER_00: I just had the best time.

  SPEAKER_00: And it was one of those magical experiences where just everything's running on high, and you don't know that what game would ever be able to match that energy that was there.

  SPEAKER_00: And I tried buying like these beaded necklaces that I could make to put a clip on here and like carry it around with me as a holster.

  SPEAKER_00: But turns out that I couldn't set that thing down.

  SPEAKER_00: It was just in my hand the entire time.

  SPEAKER_00: And wherever I walked, it was like the totem, right?

  SPEAKER_00: Like I was just like, go, can I get a go pack go?

  SPEAKER_00: And when I went in, like the there was security that did I mean he's like, tambourine.

  SPEAKER_00: And I was like, yeah.

  SPEAKER_00: And he's like, well, don't just shake it.

  SPEAKER_00: And I was like, go, pack, go.

  SPEAKER_00: And then he's like, yeah.

  SPEAKER_00: And so I just walked right out in with it.

  SPEAKER_00: But I don't, I'm not just, I don't want to venture to say that la la la la la la Lambo has never seen a tambourine there in the stadium.

  SPEAKER_00: I have yet to see a tambourine at all the games that I've gone to there.

  SPEAKER_00: And it was a game day decision.

  SPEAKER_00: Like as I was walking out the door to the car, the last one to get in the vehicles, running behind, you know.

  SPEAKER_00: In my head, it only takes me two minutes to get ready, but it might actually take me 10.

  SPEAKER_00: I was last one in the car and I just grabbed it right off like my library bookshelf.

  SPEAKER_00: I was like, yep, gonna bring the tambourine.

  SPEAKER_00: I also brought another little noisemaker that didn't end up coming into the stadium.

  SPEAKER_00: I only got so many hands.

  SPEAKER_00: So, but it was awesome that this came in.

  SPEAKER_00: And I was like, we just need a Green Bay Packer sticker right here to complete this thing because you're supposed to make a lot of noise when your opponent is on offense, right?

  SPEAKER_00: You gotta distract them.

  SPEAKER_00: It's like, that's why Lambeau is so legendary, is because of the cheers, because of the fans, because it gets loud in there.

  SPEAKER_00: Not to mention like their ticket system.

  SPEAKER_00: I don't know how we got so blessed to be season ticket holders of the Green Bay Packers.

  SPEAKER_00: Thank you, Papa Jimbo and his family that passed them down, keeping them in the family.

  SPEAKER_00: But really, there's a waiting list, you know, a mile long.

  SPEAKER_00: And if you don't have tickets or not buying, you know, you could sell buy them online, you can go to the game.

  SPEAKER_00: But it's pretty awesome to be an owner there at Lambeau.

  SPEAKER_00: And you it definitely just carries on that excitement and that legacy and that energy that it's so well known for there.

  SPEAKER_00: And even so many Packer fans, no matter who you cheer for, you want to catch a game at Lambeau.

  SPEAKER_00: It is like on the bucket list.

  SPEAKER_00: If you're a football fan, you need to hit up Lambeau at some point because it is the energy and the people.

  SPEAKER_00: I feel like our fans are so nice.

  SPEAKER_00: Like we're part of the Midwest, like we're known to have big hearts, and it just shows there because even though like we're playing the Bears fan and the Bears still suck, you know, we're not gonna be totally go out of our way to be rude to them.

  SPEAKER_00: We're still sitting in the fans with them, still cheering together, and it's all in good fun at the end of the day.

  SPEAKER_00: You know, there might be a little smack talking as to be expected when you're when you're, you know, involving testosterone and the male dominance and all that.

  SPEAKER_00: But I feel like at the end of the day, Lambeau, it just has some really nice people, really good energy, high spirits, and I was so stoked.

  SPEAKER_00: I think they're gonna start selling tambourines now.

  SPEAKER_00: I feel like tambourines are the next thing because I got so many compliments on this tambourine that it was insane, unbelievable.

  SPEAKER_00: And I just can't believe nobody has done or seen it before.

  SPEAKER_00: Or maybe if they really truly didn't allow tambourines and I just somehow I bamboozled them to get it in there.

  SPEAKER_00: I mean, that very well could be, I do have that effect on people.

  SPEAKER_00: But the game was so awesome.

  SPEAKER_00: Sarah and I had jackets that we had just got, not even planned.

  SPEAKER_00: Like my mom ended up giving me a really cool, like shiny Green Bay Packers jacket, and she had ordered like a bedazzled G Green Bay Packers jacket, and we both wore them, and she got us these amazing disco ball earrings that we were able to match with.

  SPEAKER_00: So our chair was just spot on.

  SPEAKER_00: And the weather was insane.

  SPEAKER_00: It was like 80 degrees that day in October.

  SPEAKER_00: I mean, my husband was wearing sandals.

  SPEAKER_00: So it's like, wow, like how lucky are we to be able to not have to wear 10 different layers like I have done in the past.

  SPEAKER_00: Snow pants, gloves, hats, toe warmers, you name it, we bust it out when it gets to sub zero in Lambo, which it has been known to do.

  SPEAKER_00: I mean, it is good old Wisconsin.

  SPEAKER_00: So not only was our vibes immaculate, our outfits were on point, but we won that game.

  SPEAKER_00: We stomped the bears.

  SPEAKER_00: And we could have breaking rights of saying the bears still suck.

  SPEAKER_00: And it was really fun leaving Lambeau.

  SPEAKER_00: Everyone was saying, Go brew crew, go brew crew.

  SPEAKER_00: So it was on that same day that the Brewers had also ended up winning their playoff game against the Dodgers.

  SPEAKER_00: So a great weekend for Wisconsin sports.

  SPEAKER_00: And boy, are we smiling here now.

  SPEAKER_00: I mean, I feel like it just really does make a difference.

  SPEAKER_00: You know, everyone just does love winning.
• 8:11
  SPEAKER_00: But the whole, the whole trip up to the game was just seamless.

  SPEAKER_00: And it was great company, great conversations, a little bit of party action in there too, with that, like those high spirits, those good vibrations.

  SPEAKER_00: And we even got a picture with this really cool Green Bay Packer car.

  SPEAKER_00: It looked awesome.

  SPEAKER_00: I was like, wow, this person is committed.

  SPEAKER_00: I just wonder if they were, you know, what their role in the game was, because it just seemed like it was meant to be there, this car, right?

  SPEAKER_00: So that was really cool to see and get a picture with.

  SPEAKER_00: And then when I got back, it was kind of crazy.

  SPEAKER_00: And I don't mean to, you know, always, I do actually mean to bring it all about back to Jesus, but the G, the G for God.

  SPEAKER_00: Like God was with them.

  SPEAKER_00: And that is an amazing feeling to think that this team that were like that came the the come up with them was able to just use love.

  SPEAKER_00: All you need is love with the number 10, our our quarterback, to be able to deliver that message.

  SPEAKER_00: And coincidence, I think not.

  SPEAKER_00: Nothing is not on purpose.

  SPEAKER_00: Everything is going according to plan, and all things are working together for good.

  SPEAKER_00: So that's really, really super groovy.

  SPEAKER_00: And I thought I would just share that with you because it's this tambourine vibes.

  SPEAKER_00: And I was at worship practice yesterday, and I was able to play the tambourine there.

  SPEAKER_00: And I was just smiling to myself about like how it's all connected and how music can be so healing.

  SPEAKER_00: And you can find it at any different avenue, like even at the Lola Lola Lambo game.

  SPEAKER_00: Not to like their music is awesome and dancing and keeping me up with that energy.

  SPEAKER_00: But, you know, music on the worship team, and we're even bringing music into the bar.

  SPEAKER_00: I want to tell y'all about a special event that we're having at Cheryl's Club 175 this Sunday.

  SPEAKER_00: What would that be?

  SPEAKER_00: The 18th, October 18th, from 2 to 4 p.m.

  SPEAKER_00: We are breaking the molds and bringing worship to the bar restaurant because we're saying yes to the calling.

  SPEAKER_00: And I kind of want to just go into like the backstory behind it and how it came to be.
• 10:23
  SPEAKER_00: And, you know, maybe something that you might not get from the poster that we've been sharing.
• 10:28
  SPEAKER_00: But it's been a really cool opportunity and a time that, you know, Jesus put something on our heart.
• 10:35
  SPEAKER_00: He put something on my heart during a meditation prayer.
• 10:39
  SPEAKER_00: You know, I was struggling of sometimes connecting, you know, where I'm at right now spiritually with my, you know, reality and my workplace and beyond, and how I can apply everything that I'm learning in the Bible and at church and in fellowship, how I can apply that in my everyday life.

  SPEAKER_00: And I feel like a lot of the times we get really safe and we're inside of our bubble or a place where we feel comfortable.

  SPEAKER_00: And it's so many times over and over in the good in his good word in the gospel where he's saying, be uncomfortable.

  SPEAKER_00: Do the things that scare you, because faith has no grip on fear.
• 11:25
  SPEAKER_00: That devil has no devil cannot live here with the Holy Spirit in our heart and in our soul.
• 11:33
  SPEAKER_00: And that goes on to the Great Commission and also being told in the Bible to be good apostles, to be good disciples as part of that fellowship is to go tell it on the mountain and and spread the good word because you can't know what you don't know, right?

  SPEAKER_00: So before I knew about God, I I had no idea that this goodness existed.
• 11:55
  SPEAKER_00: I wasn't living in it all and wonder.
• 11:57
  SPEAKER_00: As a matter of fact, I was kind of, I was, I've always been like positive and bubbly and like I am who I am.

  SPEAKER_00: That's who he made me to be.

  SPEAKER_00: But I feel like there was always like that voice.

  SPEAKER_00: And sometimes I was angry and I couldn't explain why.

  SPEAKER_00: Um but when I found Jesus, don't worry, I still am have am only human.

  SPEAKER_00: I have emotions, but he helps me walk through that and get through that a lot faster so I can continue to shine my light and share my gifts because that is the calling.

  SPEAKER_00: And so I digress from the meditation prayer that was happening in my home.

  SPEAKER_01: It was really like have a worship service at Cheryl's Club.

  SPEAKER_00: And I was like, what?

  SPEAKER_00: Worship service at Cheryl's Club?

  SPEAKER_00: Come on, you've got to be kidding me.

  SPEAKER_00: How is that even possible?

  SPEAKER_00: I don't know.

  SPEAKER_00: I resisted, right?
• 12:47
  SPEAKER_00: But it came after Emerald's passing, her tragic death at Cheryl outside of Cheryl's Club.

  SPEAKER_00: And it was at a time where we we really did need a we still all will always need, but I mean, I was like, where is God in all of this?

  SPEAKER_00: Where is Jesus?

  SPEAKER_00: We need to infuse the hope and the faith in people because it was a a dark moment there with what our community was experiencing together.

  SPEAKER_00: And the whole way through, Jesus was by, was, is still there every step of the way.

  SPEAKER_00: And again, feeling that disconnect of like sometimes the sinful nature of humans and and and how that relates to our discipleship and the spiritual walk.

  SPEAKER_00: And it was saying, why not host a worship, worship session session at Cheryl's Club?

  SPEAKER_00: That is it.

  SPEAKER_00: Session at Cheryl's Club, yes.

  SPEAKER_00: If not now, then when?

  SPEAKER_00: And if not me, then who?
• 13:45
  SPEAKER_00: And if not today, then maybe never, but not it it's happening, it's coming to fruition.

  SPEAKER_00: And I prayed on it.

  SPEAKER_00: I had to sit with it.
• 13:53
  SPEAKER_00: It scared the living bejesus back into me as I am on a full surrender path.

  SPEAKER_00: And, you know, just really sitting with that of what that looked like.

  SPEAKER_00: And I really wasn't sure.

  SPEAKER_00: And again, I didn't have all the answers, and I didn't really know, but I shared with a peer what was on my heart, someone I knew that could deliver.

  SPEAKER_00: And that is DJ J Bird or Jason Kempfer.

  SPEAKER_00: And I've known him for tw, I want to say upwards of what feels like I I mean, I could be wrong, not exactly to the year, but 20, about 20 years.

  SPEAKER_00: He's been, he's DJ'd at Cheryl's Club before, way back in the day, and is really grown, prospered, and persevered in his career with sound and music.

  SPEAKER_00: He has excellent sound and lighting that he offers for special events, corporate brands, like high-scale top-tier events.

  SPEAKER_00: And that's what he's doing now.
• 14:52
  SPEAKER_00: But his heart has always really been the music.

  SPEAKER_00: And so it actually let me let me back it up a little bit.

  SPEAKER_00: The seed was planted when I met with J Bird in his storage studio for all of his sound equipment.

  SPEAKER_00: I ended up purchasing two speakers and two microphones for him for the homegrown music festival.

  SPEAKER_00: And where he was like, What are you doing with these speakers and microphones?
• 15:21
  SPEAKER_00: And I was like, I'm gonna go tell it on the mountain.

  SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna go sing about Jesus in the park.

  SPEAKER_00: And it ended up being like this karaoke session.

  SPEAKER_00: People were coming up and we were singing all types of songs, but I stayed true to the, you know, the songs that I was learning in worship.

  SPEAKER_00: And I literally have a binder full of music that I've learned throughout my year plus on the worship team at New Life Church.

  SPEAKER_00: And so I feel like he's like, really?
• 15:47
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah.

  SPEAKER_00: He's like, I've always dreamed about putting a like doing a studio, a producing studio up here and make Jesus music.

  SPEAKER_00: And I was like, really?
• 15:55
  SPEAKER_00: That would be awesome, Jay Bird.

  SPEAKER_00: Do it.

  SPEAKER_00: I'm here for it.

  SPEAKER_00: And I feel like I learned something about him that day and his love for Jesus and that he loves God and he is a he is a disciple.

  SPEAKER_00: And so I feel like that seed was planted way then.

  SPEAKER_00: And so when this was on my heart about, you know, taking the leap and hosting something at Cheryl's Club, because why not?

  SPEAKER_00: I reached out to J Bird and asked him if he was interested and not knowing like my full vision or what was gonna come of this insight.

  SPEAKER_00: But he without hesitation, without even like, I I think he's doing it for free.

  SPEAKER_00: I think he's doing it for the Lord.

  SPEAKER_00: We didn't talk about that.
• 16:51
  SPEAKER_00: But you know, without hesitation, without reservation, without any, you know, any procrastination, he said yes.

  SPEAKER_01: He's like, I have all the music.

  SPEAKER_00: I know I I got it.

  SPEAKER_00: I got the music, I got the lyrics, we can, we can do this.

  SPEAKER_00: And he's a man of many words.

  SPEAKER_00: Like, I haven't had lengthy conversations.

  SPEAKER_00: But he's just delivered at every corner.

  SPEAKER_00: He came up with the poster, which was amazing.

  SPEAKER_00: And he's like, I've had this vision for a really long time.

  SPEAKER_00: And he's like, where I play like a house, Christian music, like remixes of all like the contemporary songs that are out there right now.

  SPEAKER_00: And I was like, wow, it's escalated quickly.

  SPEAKER_00: Now we have a poster.

  SPEAKER_00: We set a date.

  SPEAKER_00: We figured out a time that would work for both of us.

  SPEAKER_00: He wanted to do it on a Sunday afternoon.

  SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna be running.

  SPEAKER_00: I got worship.

  SPEAKER_00: I'm singing at church, and that I'm normally there till about noon, but I'll be headed over to Cheryl's to throw our hands up in the air and wave them back and forth for the Cheryl's Club worship session.

  SPEAKER_00: And I absolutely love the energy that is surrounding this event.

  SPEAKER_00: People are getting so excited.

  SPEAKER_00: I could just see it right in their in their eyes, where they're like, really?

  SPEAKER_00: You're doing yes, I'm there.

  SPEAKER_00: So I have no idea what to expect.

  SPEAKER_00: We did get an extra bartender to help out that day.

  SPEAKER_00: I mean, this has never been done before at Cheryl's Club or in our area, as far as I'm concerned.

  SPEAKER_00: I know in the South they are doing these rave Jesus events where it's kind of like a rave, but it is all like high-vibing Christian non-secular music.

  SPEAKER_00: And people are throwing their hands up and they're with community and praising our good dear Lord.
