- 2:44Speaker 5: now a bunch of people are drinking My High.
- 2:46Speaker 6: Because we talk about it all the time.
- 2:51Speaker 2: One can only help. I think it's the hap.
- 2:53Speaker 6: Really long to say something.
- 2:56Speaker 2: Yeah.

- 2:58Speaker 6: y'all are.
- 2:58Speaker 4: Just like, well, my defense, I can't hear. I don't
- 3:02Speaker 4: know what his problem is.
- 3:05Speaker 2: Forty one. I can't hear unless they got these this
- 3:08Speaker 2: this one.
- 3:09Speaker 5: We start just being silent, not even trying to converse
- 3:11Speaker 5: with y'all. Then I fell asleep with my door unlocked,
- 3:16Speaker 5: which I probably shouldn't have said that on.
- 3:17Speaker 2: The radio, But what's the address?
- 3:21Speaker 6: Twice in a week, it's a.
- 3:25Speaker 4: H We did have somebody in the chat asking earlier.
- 3:26Speaker 4: How the orange cat's doing is it over?
- 3:28Speaker 2: It's no.
- 3:29Speaker 5: I saw him the other day. Okay, I never kicked
- 3:31Speaker 5: this cat broke. I actually almost cried because I wanted
- 3:35Speaker 5: to bring him in my house, but they disgusted me, so.
- 3:40Speaker 7: I almost wanted to bring him until I figured out
- 3:41Speaker 7: it's really gross.
- 3:42Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 3:43Speaker 5: He was trying to follow me into my house, and
- 3:45Speaker 5: I was like, look, I feel really bad and I
- 3:48Speaker 5: want to bring you in here, but you're street cat,
- 3:51Speaker 5: and I just I can't do it.
- 3:53Speaker 2: You're cute, but you're great.
- 3:55Speaker 6: I can't do it.
- 3:55Speaker 2: You're cute, but you're also ugly. What you feed?
- 3:59Speaker 6: It him feeding anything?
- 4:01Speaker 3: No?
- 4:02Speaker 6: No, no, he was like rubbing against my leg.
- 4:06Speaker 2: To avoid feeding. To avoid feed.
- 4:08Speaker 5: Yeah, I said, get out of here. Oh that cat
- 4:14Speaker 5: looks like it's well fed. It looks like it's somebody's
- 4:18Speaker 5: cat that just kind of wanders.
- 4:21Speaker 2: We got one of those in my neighborhood.
- 4:22Speaker 4: The cats drink milk, yeah, I was taught as a
- 4:26Speaker 4: child through cartoons. They drink milk out of a saucer.
- 4:32Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 4:34Speaker 2: I did that when I was a little we of
- 4:36Speaker 2: cat growing up.
- 4:36Speaker 4: I think cat, according to the cat, that I have
- 4:40Speaker 4: to just eat lizards and snakes, birds and stuff and
- 4:44Speaker 4: leave you carcasses, leaving carcasses and bunny faces.
- 4:49Speaker 6: See you want me to bring that into my house.
- 4:52Speaker 4: I mean, that's the greatest thing to happen to our house.
- 4:56Speaker 4: Telling you I saw a hawk flying the other day.
- 4:59Speaker 4: F yard really sneaking its talents, that's.
- 5:07Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 5:11Speaker 4: Immediately, also saw a snake the other day that the
- 5:13Speaker 4: family were coming home from a dinner.
- 5:15Speaker 2: It was nighttime and there was a snake in the road.
- 5:19Speaker 5: Everybody, sorry, everyone's like, do not give a cat milk
- 5:22Speaker 5: there you're not allowed to get You're not supposed to
- 5:23Speaker 5: give cat's milk.
- 5:24Speaker 2: But anyway, our cats and milk teaches this, but I
- 5:29Speaker 2: don't want to put that out there. Supposed to give
- 5:31Speaker 2: cat's milk like that is a.
- 5:33Speaker 4: I've never given. I'm just asking questions. Well, there's a
- 5:36Speaker 4: lot of told us.
- 5:39Speaker 7: We've got a bunch of damn cat whispers in the
- 5:41Speaker 7: chat now, guys.
- 5:42Speaker 5: Well, to be fair, I don't want to like tell
- 5:44Speaker 5: people go give their cat milk and kill their cat,
- 5:46Speaker 5: so like, do not give your cat milk. Anyway, back
- 5:49Speaker 5: to the badass eagle, that was a hawk.
- 5:52Speaker 3: That was I'm gonna say it was an eagle because
- 5:54Speaker 3: I just saluted it.
- 5:55Speaker 2: It was awesome. It was a Spanish redtail. What Spanish
- 5:59Speaker 2: red hawk? That's a I had. So I had a
- 6:03Speaker 2: big old, big old snake.
- 6:04Speaker 4: So we were driving, the family, driving down the road
- 6:06Speaker 4: and it was it was nighttime and there was a
- 6:08Speaker 4: snake crossing the road and I drove past it and
- 6:11Speaker 4: I stopped. I was like, wait a minute, probably need
- 6:14Speaker 4: to go run it over to protect the children, right,
- 6:18Speaker 4: So three point turned right there in the neighborhood, got them,
- 6:23Speaker 4: you did, Yeah, it was it was a water right
- 6:26Speaker 4: before you yelled for it was like a four foot
- 6:29Speaker 4: water monks and so, yeah, just protecting the neighborhood, protecting
- 6:34Speaker 4: the children out there, protecting all the milk drinking cats
- 6:37Speaker 4: in the neighborhood.
- 6:38Speaker 6: Yeah, don't give your cat milk.
- 6:41Speaker 4: I wonder why should we look at it.
- 6:44Speaker 2: Don't give grapes to dogs.
- 6:46Speaker 5: So at go goat in the chat obviously spelled g
- 6:52Speaker 5: E A u X. He says expert here or she
- 6:54Speaker 5: I don't know, expert here. They cat's stomachs aren't supposed
- 6:59Speaker 5: to milk because of the sugar content and milk and
- 7:02Speaker 5: their stomach.
- 7:05Speaker 2: The sugar content and milk.
- 7:08Speaker 5: Okay, cats are lactose intolerant, says Javo.
- 7:13Speaker 4: So like back in the day and like the when
- 7:17Speaker 4: women's looney tunes the thing fifties sixties. Yeah, like back then,
- 7:20Speaker 4: they're just killing cats all the time.
- 7:22Speaker 3: Yeah, or have they just over time lost cats?
- 7:29Speaker 6: Yep?
- 7:31Speaker 5: Most adult cats are lactose intolerant. While kittens can digest
- 7:34Speaker 5: mother's milk, they lose the ability to produce enough lactase
- 7:39Speaker 5: enzyme after weaning, making them unable to properly break down
- 7:42Speaker 5: lactose found in cow's milk and dairy products.
- 7:44Speaker 2: I just bust out the word enzymes right before you
- 7:46Speaker 2: see it.
- 7:47Speaker 4: Yeah, not a big deal. I am going to be
- 7:49Speaker 4: on a chef's panel later. Megan Zyme's a guy, bagan
- 7:52Speaker 4: zyme guy.
- 7:53Speaker 6: I mean you're on the panel for a reason.
- 7:54Speaker 2: Whoopsie daisies, whoops. Yep. I know the word enzymes.
- 7:58Speaker 4: Congrats, that's gonna be every question enzymes.
- 8:02Speaker 2: It's about the stomach and d you know, just the
- 8:05Speaker 2: different enzymes. And I don't know if you'll know the chefs,
- 8:07Speaker 2: but you're not supposed to give an adult cat milk
- 8:12Speaker 2: for a cat limited diary sugar.
- 8:16Speaker 3: Nobody asked about cats.
- 8:20Speaker 4: Y'all didn't maybe specifically ask it with the mouth, but
- 8:23Speaker 4: you're asking it with your eyes.
- 8:25Speaker 2: Fair enough.
- 8:26Speaker 4: Do you'll ever hear the story about the why Ben
- 8:29Speaker 4: and Jerry's doesn't have the grape ice cream, a grape
- 8:32Speaker 4: flavored ice cream or anything.
- 8:33Speaker 2: Obviously, would you do that flavored?
- 8:36Speaker 4: Well, they don't because this is an article I read
- 8:39Speaker 4: legit article because.
- 8:41Speaker 6: It wouldn't be good for one.
- 8:43Speaker 2: Is it the same guy that wrote to Virginia Tech
- 8:44Speaker 2: go get them ladies? Yep?
- 8:46Speaker 6: What a freaking idiot.
- 8:48Speaker 4: Well, there's all sorts of fruit, different fruit colored ice
- 8:50Speaker 4: creams and sorbets out. There is one thing out of
- 8:55Speaker 4: the ordinary. Sherbert, you're you're from Texas. Don't try to
- 8:57Speaker 4: turn mister Ben, mister Jerry.
- 9:00Speaker 6: Okay.
- 9:01Speaker 4: One of them was trying to I think impress or
- 9:03Speaker 4: courked a lady. She wanted a great flavored ice cream,
- 9:07Speaker 4: so he tried and he made it and his dog
- 9:10Speaker 4: ended up finding it and eating it dead.
- 9:14Speaker 2: No, grapes are like the worst thing.
- 9:17Speaker 4: They don't grape, probably worse than giving milk to a cat.
- 9:21Speaker 7: Yeah, give milk to a cat, I gonna kill it.
- 9:24Speaker 7: They're just gonna have Tony problems. I don't think chocolate
- 9:26Speaker 7: actually does.
- 9:26Speaker 2: Maybe a certain type of job, A lot limes tlee. Right,
- 9:31Speaker 2: don't give chocolate to a dog. Yeah, I hear that
- 9:35Speaker 2: all the time. I don't know if.
- 9:37Speaker 6: Telling people what to give their cats and dogs.
- 9:40Speaker 4: To give, we're telling them what not to give. And
- 9:42Speaker 4: I said, looney to give milk to a cat back
- 9:46Speaker 4: when I was a child. Started the conversation by saying,
- 9:49Speaker 4: do cats drink milk? No idea I do.
- 9:53Speaker 5: Now anyway, Yes, chocolate is toxic to dogs and could
- 9:59Speaker 5: cause severe this or death.
- 10:00Speaker 6: So no, I don't think that's a wife's chocolate.
- 10:03Speaker 5: All chocolate, yeah, I mean, I think just chocolate and darker,
- 10:07Speaker 5: the more dangerous it is.
- 10:09Speaker 2: White chocolate.
- 10:10Speaker 6: You're good, Hm, I don't think that's how that works.
- 10:13Speaker 2: White Chocolate's not technically chocolate white chocolate, is it not?
- 10:16Speaker 2: It's just made up mixed together. It's a confectionery. They
- 10:22Speaker 2: probably actually could have it. Well, they catch just sugar flavor.
- 10:28Speaker 2: You didn't know that. I learned that today Today's it's
- 10:31Speaker 2: not actually chocolate.
- 10:34Speaker 5: Okay, So white chocolate is not toxic to dogs, but
- 10:37Speaker 5: it is still bad for them.
- 10:39Speaker 2: Well, it's bad for everybody if you look at it
- 10:41Speaker 2: that way.
- 10:42Speaker 7: True, my dogs is gonna be excited when I get
- 10:47Speaker 7: home and be like, but I got something for you.
- 10:50Speaker 2: You think Pete is gonna be mad at me for
- 10:52Speaker 2: running over that snake.
- 10:54Speaker 3: Peter can go pound sand the person mad at you
- 10:57Speaker 3: from Peter say Okay, well I'm gonna put the snake
- 11:00Speaker 3: in a room with you, and you see.
- 11:01Speaker 2: What you do.
- 11:04Speaker 5: Although I will say Jackson Miller in the chat brings
- 11:06Speaker 5: up a good point. The snakes are supposed to eat
- 11:08Speaker 5: the rats, and the rats carry the hantavirus.
- 11:12Speaker 2: But like a water moccasin is like gonna get you
- 11:14Speaker 2: and then you gonna.
- 11:15Speaker 4: Get the rat. That's what I get cats for. And hawks.
- 11:19Speaker 3: And the closest I've ever seen is somebody walking on
- 11:22Speaker 3: water outside of our Lord and Savior. And the stories
- 11:24Speaker 3: here in the Bible is when we had one in
- 11:27Speaker 3: a pool growing up, my brother's big ass water moccasin.
- 11:31Speaker 3: And I'll tell you what he was levitating out of
- 11:33Speaker 3: that pool, snakes. And I was about to say, like
- 11:38Speaker 3: the land got a chance a snake on water? You're done, Yeah,
- 11:42Speaker 3: you're done.
- 11:43Speaker 4: And for biblical calm, a serpent then maybe it'll make
- 11:46Speaker 4: you hate them even more. Yeah, don't like him now.
- 11:51Speaker 2: King snake. They're cool because they actually will go and
- 11:56Speaker 2: eat the venomous snakes.
- 12:00Speaker 6: That's why they call it the King snake.
- 12:02Speaker 2: That's what they say. That's what the cats are for.
- 12:05Speaker 2: Cats get the rats as long as they don't have milk.
- 12:08Speaker 2: Don't give them milk.
- 12:09Speaker 3: All right, we'll take a break and when we come back,
- 12:12Speaker 3: we'll get to your questions. We're gonna have a little

- 15:27Speaker 6: What the is the internet.
- 15:38Speaker 2: Hashtag? Oh TB mailbag?
- 15:41Speaker 3: Is Indiana doing the get the gat sell in the
- 15:43Speaker 3: White House yesterday?
- 15:45Speaker 2: Lame? Or a nice tribute to twenty nineteen LSU lame?
- 15:50Speaker 2: Do you hear any thing?
- 15:55Speaker 6: I think I kind of fall a little in between.
- 15:58Speaker 5: Yeah, But it's also kind of now a trend, like
- 16:01Speaker 5: I've seen multiple people that win national championships doing it,
- 16:05Speaker 5: So I mean, I.
- 16:06Speaker 2: Don't it's like any celebration.
- 16:07Speaker 6: I don't really care.
- 16:08Speaker 2: So we talked about this celebration yesterday.
- 16:10Speaker 4: Yeah, that's a celebration for being at the White House, right,
- 16:15Speaker 4: and it started with LSU. So what did we say yesterday?
- 16:17Speaker 4: This one was like cam Warden started that. Yeah, everybody
- 16:20Speaker 4: does it. Yeah, LSU started and kind of everybody does
- 16:22Speaker 4: it now.
- 16:23Speaker 6: I don't think it's lame that other other sports.
- 16:26Speaker 5: Yeah, like there's baseball's done it. Yeah, I mean granted
- 16:29Speaker 5: it was LSU baseball.
- 16:30Speaker 2: But like still, I mean it's just every time somebody
- 16:34Speaker 2: does it, it just reminds you who the greatest team of
- 16:35Speaker 2: all time?
- 16:36Speaker 6: Right right.
- 16:37Speaker 7: It's one of those things where everybody LSU fans like, great,
- 16:40Speaker 7: this team went undefeated. Now they're going to be compared
- 16:42Speaker 7: to LSU. Yeah you're the gold standard.
- 16:45Speaker 2: Yeah. So get the gap?
- 16:48Speaker 6: Yeah yeah, I don't really care it was there.
- 16:53Speaker 2: No, he didn't want to miss practice as a Raiders.
- 16:55Speaker 7: I just to get the gap would have been funnier
- 16:58Speaker 7: if for Nana Mendoza attempted it.
- 16:59Speaker 2: Well, he's a I mean I feel.
- 17:00Speaker 3: Like he said he said it wouldn't uh you know,
- 17:03Speaker 3: it wouldn't look good for a rookie quarter like to
- 17:06Speaker 3: miss one of his.
- 17:07Speaker 4: First prize from the Raiders. I'm like, go, go to
- 17:09Speaker 4: the White House. We'll make a press conference and tell
- 17:12Speaker 4: them that you're the gold standard and the epitome of
- 17:15Speaker 4: what it means to be a rookie quarterback. And he's
- 17:17Speaker 4: taking his job seriously, but we are forcing him as
- 17:19Speaker 4: an organization just once a lifetime opportunity and celebrated. That's
- 17:23Speaker 4: the championship with Indiana the worst program ever.
- 17:26Speaker 3: For sure, you should go to the white I mean
- 17:29Speaker 3: going to the White house's core memory for us twice
- 17:32Speaker 3: that you went three times.
- 17:34Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, So for some reason now, like going to
- 17:38Speaker 5: the White House causes like controversy.
- 17:41Speaker 6: So I can see him wanting to like, I know
- 17:43Speaker 6: it's so.
- 17:43Speaker 3: Stupid, but I wouldn't care who the president matter, who
- 17:46Speaker 3: is in Republican Democrat, don't care if the White House
- 17:49Speaker 3: is the president.
- 17:49Speaker 6: Like I'm with y'all. That's yeah, I'm just saying that's.
- 17:53Speaker 2: Not that's a fumble. Does a fumble by the Raiders
- 17:56Speaker 2: probably more so? Fact check me.
- 17:58Speaker 3: I know that was as of two days before Indiana
- 18:01Speaker 3: was supposed to go.
- 18:02Speaker 2: I don't think he ended up going.
- 18:04Speaker 6: No, I don't think he did.
- 18:04Speaker 2: I mean, it's not even gonna be it shouldn't be
- 18:07Speaker 2: the starter. But Also, it's like that should be Duggans.
- 18:10Speaker 7: The Raiders knew when they drafted him that this kid
- 18:12Speaker 7: won a national championship. They couldn't have not had practice
- 18:15Speaker 7: that one day.
- 18:17Speaker 3: I mean, that's those things are playing out pretty No,
- 18:20Speaker 3: I get it.
- 18:21Speaker 2: And it's like if it's a rookie mini camp maybe, but.
- 18:24Speaker 4: I get your point, Like they should have like, hey,
- 18:27Speaker 4: let's set this one day. They should have said, and
- 18:30Speaker 4: then they should have been the ones to tell everybody
- 18:34Speaker 4: that we are making him.
- 18:35Speaker 2: He doesn't want to miss practice and we're not gonna
- 18:37Speaker 2: have it. Yeah, this is a once in a long time.
- 18:40Speaker 4: Yeah, this that was a that was a bad pr move,
- 18:42Speaker 4: but a missed opportunity, I'll say for the Raiders, not surprising.
- 18:46Speaker 3: All Right, we gotta get some more of these hashtag
- 18:49Speaker 3: go to be mail bag. What specific plans does this
- 18:52Speaker 3: show have to catch Mac and Cubes?
- 18:55Speaker 5: Uh?
- 18:55Speaker 6: Probably like them to the dead days.
- 18:58Speaker 2: I think we probably gotta fight go sometimes you just
- 19:01Speaker 2: gotta fight. It's a anchor man, all the news stations
- 19:03Speaker 2: come out. Yep.
- 19:05Speaker 4: I mean Cubes probably had his prime at one point
- 19:08Speaker 4: with a tough, tough takedown.
- 19:10Speaker 2: He's got a lot skinnier, Yeah, he's got baby cakes.
- 19:13Speaker 2: Now he's got baby cakes. Maybe some peptide situations happening.
- 19:16Speaker 5: Last time I saw him was in Nashville for the
- 19:19Speaker 5: Vandy game then ncelerol.
- 19:21Speaker 6: I mean he did look a little school. Oh that's
- 19:24Speaker 6: easy work, Taylor.
- 19:26Speaker 2: Light work young, Send me whoever you won't fit their ankles.
- 19:34Speaker 2: Hashtag OTB mail bag.
- 19:36Speaker 3: If OTB was able to run against Afar and award season,
- 19:39Speaker 3: would OTB rack up all the trophies? I mean, yeah,
- 19:42Speaker 3: we're going to get Murphy, Sam and Jody the law Firm, right, Yeah,
- 19:47Speaker 3: I mean so yeah.
- 19:49Speaker 4: I just still think that there should be there's different
- 19:52Speaker 4: types of shows. Yeah, there should be another category. We're
- 19:56Speaker 4: a different type of show. There should be sports sports
- 19:58Speaker 4: show and sports entertainment.
- 20:00Speaker 6: I would argue.
- 20:02Speaker 5: I would argue that makes us a better morning show
- 20:05Speaker 5: than Murphy, Sam and Jody because they're one dimensional and
- 20:08Speaker 5: we are.
- 20:09Speaker 2: And they play.
- 20:10Speaker 4: Music like the entire time. Eight of their shows just music. Yeah,
- 20:14Speaker 4: at least like ours is only like forty percent.
- 20:16Speaker 6: Music, exactly, Taylor.
- 20:22Speaker 2: I know, let him breathe for a while.
- 20:24Speaker 3: I know that we were nominated one time for Best
- 20:27Speaker 3: Sports Show and we won.
- 20:29Speaker 7: I wouldn't we I wouldn't about in a thousand sounds
- 20:31Speaker 7: like I don't think I was here, none of you
- 20:32Speaker 7: are here with me.
- 20:33Speaker 2: But we're still a fact, not a big deal, all right.
- 20:37Speaker 3: So the point is, yeah, we're in a different category,
- 20:40Speaker 3: and if we were in sports category, then we'd have
- 20:42Speaker 3: those fancy trap It's funny. I was going to use
- 20:44Speaker 3: rushroom during the last break and I saw a trophy
- 20:47Speaker 3: on somebody's desk out there, and I was like, I
- 20:50Speaker 3: think Matt and I are the only people planned and
- 20:53Speaker 3: this whole building that don't have.
- 20:57Speaker 2: An la B Award.
- 20:59Speaker 3: You've got Young profession dro right, Okay, Taylor, I'm sure
- 21:03Speaker 3: you've won something. No, you don't have one, Okay, everyone
- 21:06Speaker 3: just kidding. And that was you know, at one time
- 21:11Speaker 3: I was in the Age for Young Professional, like the
- 21:14Speaker 3: first year. I'm passing it up after that. So this
- 21:20Speaker 3: show is not about awards. It's about grip entertaining. We
- 21:25Speaker 3: do we have one.
- 21:28Speaker 6: We have one as a wolf pack because.
- 21:31Speaker 2: A dress one. So we all have one. Hashtag O
- 21:33Speaker 2: t B mailbag.
- 21:34Speaker 3: Didn't that remember to change his blinker fluid every five
- 21:37Speaker 3: thousand flash after this weekend?
- 21:40Speaker 6: Did you?
- 21:41Speaker 2: Oh? Yeah?
- 21:42Speaker 4: Had changed a couple of times. Actually, I saw somebody
- 21:45Speaker 4: Yesterday's very pretty hard. After we got rained out of
- 21:48Speaker 4: another another baseball game yesterday evening, someone was had their
- 21:54Speaker 4: flashers on and vision was not impaired enough for this
- 21:57Speaker 4: guy to have the flashers on. And I just looked
- 21:59Speaker 4: at him, as a fellow flasher, I looked at him,
- 22:03Speaker 4: just shook my head.
- 22:04Speaker 2: No, it's not time, but it's not time.
- 22:07Speaker 6: No, it's never time to be fair.
- 22:09Speaker 2: But mm hmmm.
- 22:15Speaker 3: Nookie gives us an update when Mendoza said, no, he
- 22:17Speaker 3: didn't go. Trump said he called him and he was
- 22:20Speaker 3: forgiven for not coming.
- 22:26Speaker 2: Uh. Daniel says, damn.
- 22:29Speaker 3: No. Wonder why OTOB doesn't let Elandra have her own
- 22:32Speaker 3: segment because your award winning and you would.
- 22:34Speaker 2: Actually we did, like Dear Delandra was very much a
- 22:40Speaker 2: favorite segment of ours.
- 22:41Speaker 3: We got a little real there with you know, the
- 22:44Speaker 3: one we did.
- 22:48Speaker 2: A Dear Delandre not that long ago.
- 22:50Speaker 6: It was like last summer. Oh yeah, we brought it
- 22:52Speaker 6: back for one.
- 22:53Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm off for doing it every week.
- 22:56Speaker 3: It's on y'all to come up with the juicy storyline though.
- 23:00Speaker 2: Hash tag O t B mail Bag, what's your favorite
- 23:02Speaker 2: way to eat shrimp like a boiled trump.
- 23:05Speaker 3: I like shrimp, gumbo, shrimp my favorite.
- 23:14Speaker 6: Like, I literally will eat shrimp any any sort of way.
- 23:18Speaker 4: I mean, shrimp is probably one of the most versatile man.
- 23:23Speaker 2: Okay, so I love, I love, but I would prefer, like,
- 23:29Speaker 2: just like a classic pillity shrimp is great.
- 23:33Speaker 4: I don't know, I might prefer a shrimp cocktail over that,
- 23:35Speaker 4: just because you can sit there and just don't even
- 23:37Speaker 4: have to think about it, dip eat. I like it
- 23:44Speaker 4: Friday and in a boy.
- 23:45Speaker 2: I also like a barbecue. You're American. I like a
- 23:47Speaker 2: barbecue like a shrimp.
- 23:51Speaker 6: I like the tarrans is how you say it.
- 23:54Speaker 5: Yes, they have an appetizer like bacon barbecue bacon wrap
- 23:59Speaker 5: shrimp or something like that, and they serve it with
- 24:01Speaker 5: sweet potatoes.
- 24:03Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 24:03Speaker 6: Like that's like the best bacon wraps so damn good, and.
- 24:07Speaker 2: Bacon wrap shrimps are elite. You know what, bake shrimp creole.
- 24:11Speaker 5: I'm literally just gonna order that appetizer for dinner tonight. Yeah,
- 24:15Speaker 5: or maybe I'll wait for Friday.
- 24:20Speaker 4: A lot of times, like a Mexican restaurant will have
- 24:21Speaker 4: a good bacon wrap shrimp. Yeah, it's a pretty standard
- 24:25Speaker 4: menu item on a lot of them.
- 24:27Speaker 2: Yeah, this one's for you, Flynn.
- 24:29Speaker 3: At least, I feel like it is who wins in
- 24:31Speaker 3: a fight, a hawk or an eagle?
- 24:32Speaker 2: An eagle?
- 24:33Speaker 6: Eagles?
- 24:35Speaker 5: Eagles are bigger, So give me have y'all seen that
- 24:41Speaker 5: eagle's nest on the levee?
- 24:43Speaker 2: No, it's like on is that the one with like
- 24:47Speaker 2: the live Oh I.
- 24:48Speaker 5: Don't know it had a live stream, but it's it's
- 24:50Speaker 5: it's on Nichols like way further down on the other
- 24:53Speaker 5: side of bright Side.
- 24:54Speaker 4: There's been a lot of a lot more eagles in
- 24:56Speaker 4: the South in the last ten fifteen years.
- 24:58Speaker 5: Yeah, there's one on the call its way on the
- 25:00Speaker 5: way to New Orleans too.
- 25:02Speaker 2: Well.
- 25:02Speaker 4: I was Seattle. There was eagles everywhere. Really, they'd get
- 25:05Speaker 4: get hit on interstate and stuff.
- 25:06Speaker 2: Imagine going to Philadelphia.
- 25:08Speaker 6: They get hit on the there's when they got hit.
- 25:14Speaker 2: Yep. Like in Alaska. They're like almost a nuisance.
- 25:18Speaker 6: Really, there's so many of them.
- 25:20Speaker 3: Crazy, But an eagle, Yeah, dominated was it an eagle
- 25:25Speaker 3: or a hawk that used to have screeching in your
- 25:27Speaker 3: my high commercials.
- 25:30Speaker 2: Make strinth sowred, Buddy, it's on the it's on your
- 25:33Speaker 2: It's on the package on the bot up. I didn't
- 25:36Speaker 2: know big yes Eagle. Well, buddy, we don't really get
- 25:41Speaker 2: my high. I have to buy my my high strinth
- 25:43Speaker 2: so sore like an eagle, pal sot like a hawk too.
- 25:46Speaker 2: It's on the front too, then your hawk's not able
- 25:49Speaker 2: to soar. Yeah, but an Eagle's American hawks are Atlanta.
- 25:57Speaker 6: I got a text. Putting your flashers on and heavy
- 26:01Speaker 6: rain is against the law.
- 26:03Speaker 2: Yeah, it's speeding.
- 26:05Speaker 6: Okay, that's actually very fair.
- 26:08Speaker 4: Or picking up your phone, yeah, you do it.
- 26:11Speaker 2: Not submitting all the things he does as well on
- 26:13Speaker 2: the red Way. I'm just I'm just telling people that
- 26:16Speaker 2: let's just not call the kettle black over here. Yeah,
- 26:20Speaker 2: o T mill Bag. You're trying to be safe, You're not.
- 26:23Speaker 3: You can choose one one basketball player in the history
- 26:28Speaker 3: of the NBA hit a shot life on the line.
- 26:31Speaker 2: Who is it? Ray Allen had a shot?
- 26:34Speaker 3: Yeah, stuff stuff. You have to like factor in the
- 26:41Speaker 3: pressure aspect of it. Steph certainly you know, had some
- 26:45Speaker 3: big shots. Ray Allen's not a bad choice there the
- 26:49Speaker 3: corner three here for the heat.
- 26:53Speaker 2: He just hasn't done it as much as Steph.
- 26:54Speaker 3: Like I'm putting something like I didn't say a three
- 26:57Speaker 3: pointer though, Like the question didn't say three pointer that
- 27:00Speaker 3: hit a shot, hit a shot.
- 27:01Speaker 2: I'm going m J, big time shot. I'm still going MJ.
- 27:05Speaker 2: I'll tell you what.
- 27:07Speaker 3: I know.
- 27:07Speaker 7: We hadn't he hadn't been in tough of this game
- 27:09Speaker 7: a couple of years. Dame Lillard's had a ton of
- 27:11Speaker 7: big shots in his career.
- 27:16Speaker 2: Genoblu, Genobli, you're going Manu.
- 27:20Speaker 5: I'm going Manus that left hand.
- 27:25Speaker 4: Ye, So now that's Steph. He's the greatest shooter is
- 27:27Speaker 4: he is the greatest shooter and he's one.
- 27:29Speaker 3: I'm going I'm going MJ still though, because I don't
- 27:32Speaker 3: know who's defendant. I don't know if it's a three
- 27:33Speaker 3: or two, but I know MJ's finding a way.
- 27:38Speaker 2: Robert orr is not a bad one. Nook hit a
- 27:41Speaker 2: lot of big shots, big shot, Bob, I have another.
- 27:49Speaker 4: Until Jordan shot approximately forty five to game winning or
- 27:53Speaker 4: game tie shots in the final seconds of his script.
- 27:56Speaker 4: In the final seconds of games.
- 27:58Speaker 5: During his cript, I got a fifty The chance Boys
- 28:01Speaker 5: hashtag OTV mail bag.
- 28:03Speaker 6: Did Mike Rabel have to buy three Mother's Day gifts?
- 28:07Speaker 2: Did you see the picture of her kissing her husband.
- 28:10Speaker 6: Yes, that's nice. Tough.
- 28:12Speaker 2: Look, so it's definitely auld situation.
- 28:14Speaker 3: Yeahste kissing her jes Either that or I don't know.
- 28:23Speaker 2: I mean, six years is a long time.
- 28:25Speaker 3: Like if it was just like a six week deal,
- 28:26Speaker 3: it's like, all right, look six years that was dumb.
- 28:29Speaker 2: What are you doing?
- 28:30Speaker 3: We got kids, Like, let's let's figure this thing out.
- 28:33Speaker 2: Six years is tough.
- 28:34Speaker 6: I can't you can't come back.
- 28:36Speaker 4: It's not like a real, like quick like emotional mistake.
- 28:40Speaker 4: That's like a full on like I did say a
- 28:42Speaker 4: great tweet yesterday with that pick that said, oh oh
- 28:45Speaker 4: hell no, Now she's treating cheating on vrabel she is.
- 28:51Speaker 6: That's wild.
- 28:53Speaker 7: Let's all mister Russini requires. He's like, look a peck
- 28:55Speaker 7: every now and then.
- 28:59Speaker 6: Love yourself.
- 29:02Speaker 2: How about that?
- 29:04Speaker 4: She's like has historically maintained a thirty five point three
- 29:08Speaker 4: percent field goal percentage on game winning or go ahead shots.
- 29:11Speaker 7: Hey, so Matt, I didn't want to get into a
- 29:14Speaker 7: big back and forth. Klay Thompson hit a lot of
- 29:16Speaker 7: those glut shots for the Warriors over the years, a
- 29:18Speaker 7: lot of them.
- 29:19Speaker 3: Again, like step volume is incredible. You have to think
- 29:22Speaker 3: about in step is the greatest shooter of all time.
- 29:26Speaker 3: But you do have to think about the moment the
- 29:29Speaker 3: person that.
- 29:30Speaker 2: They've won a lot. That's why that's kind yeah.
- 29:33Speaker 7: Yeah, but they were so far ahead, I mean how
- 29:34Speaker 7: many So I'm going he didn't have That's what I'm saying.
- 29:38Speaker 2: Like a big shot at the end. He did have
- 29:40Speaker 2: a ton. I mean, Larry Bird might be in there.
- 29:43Speaker 2: Larry Bird would be in the conversation. Let's look it up.
- 29:46Speaker 2: The hick from French leg.
- 30:00Speaker 4: Based on data for shots in the final five seconds
- 30:04Speaker 4: to take the lead, Michael Jordan has the highest field
- 30:08Speaker 4: goal percentage on game winning shots in NBA history at
- 30:11Speaker 4: forty seven percent. Second is Steph Curry with thirty fours.
- 30:19Speaker 4: So he's got He's number one by thirteen percent. Kobe
- 30:22Speaker 4: Bryant's at twenty four percent. Lebron eighteen.
- 30:25Speaker 3: That was one of my biggest arguments with my kids
- 30:27Speaker 3: when they were trying to have like Lebron mj. I
- 30:29Speaker 3: was like, y'all, like the clutch gene, he passes it
- 30:33Speaker 3: in those moments A Kyrie in the series where they
- 30:36Speaker 3: were down three to one, Kyrie irving was a gigantic
- 30:41Speaker 3: part of that.
- 30:42Speaker 2: Ray Allen in the corner when we were with the Heat. Now,
- 30:44Speaker 2: I don't I think the second greatest player. It's not
- 30:47Speaker 2: a quick Google search, so.
- 30:51Speaker 4: Forty seven wow, second place according to the search, got
- 30:55Speaker 4: about fifty fifty chance of living.
- 30:57Speaker 2: Now. I don't know what the pre recordsits are to
- 30:59Speaker 2: get onto this list. This is just like the quick
- 31:02Speaker 2: AI overview on Google. Yeah.
- 31:04Speaker 4: It also says that Michael only hit nine career buzzer beaters.
- 31:07Speaker 4: I know that's not at accurate, so maybe this is
- 31:09Speaker 4: all play off stuff.
- 31:10Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 31:11Speaker 5: So I looked up like the one from Manu game
- 31:15Speaker 5: winning shots. It says he has a twenty eight point
- 31:19Speaker 5: six percent field goal percentage. He went six for twenty
- 31:21Speaker 5: one on game winning field goal attempts.
- 31:23Speaker 2: Maybe this list after Michael Jordan just kind of gave
- 31:25Speaker 2: me like the.
- 31:26Speaker 3: Stars on Star right. Yeah, they're their number of comparison.
- 31:30Speaker 3: I was just curious he didn't give you like Bloody Devac.
- 31:35Speaker 2: No, Bloody.
- 31:40Speaker 3: I think Taylor would know this, but let's see Taylor orlandra.
- 31:44Speaker 3: Oh god, who did Bloody Deva get traded for on
- 31:48Speaker 3: their draft night?
- 31:49Speaker 6: I don't know.
- 31:50Speaker 2: It was that traded four on the draft.
- 31:54Speaker 3: So the team drafted this player and Bloody Devi got traded.
- 32:00Speaker 2: Way.
- 32:01Speaker 6: We just talked about this.
- 32:02Speaker 7: This wasn't Kobe, was it? Because I remember when they.
- 32:08Speaker 3: Re Hornets selected Kobe Bryant, Yeah, traded him for Votti Dvak.
- 32:12Speaker 5: We just talked about this because we were talking about
- 32:14Speaker 5: players that weren't drafted by the team they're known for.
- 32:20Speaker 2: How about that.
- 32:21Speaker 3: I mean v Lotti has played forever after that. Still,
- 32:24Speaker 3: it was really go to Kings, but it's Kobe. Yeah,
- 32:28Speaker 3: that's one that GM probably wants back.
- 32:30Speaker 2: Huh.
- 32:30Speaker 3: All right, we'll take we'll take a break. We appreciate
- 32:33Speaker 3: your mailbag questions. Always look forward to that segment. It's
- 32:37Speaker 3: definitely not the same as asked the bench, and we

- 35:55Speaker 3: There's a lot of things that were said that I've
- 35:58Speaker 3: seen the old Internet taken and run a lot of
- 36:00Speaker 3: different ways. But he so in the article for him,
- 36:03Speaker 3: he basically points out that Baton Rouge and LSU provides
- 36:06Speaker 3: something that's easier to sell to a lot of recruits
- 36:08Speaker 3: in their families because of the diversity and the culture
- 36:10Speaker 3: around the program in the city itself, and he mentions
- 36:14Speaker 3: that's where families, you know, flat out told him Oxford
- 36:17Speaker 3: wasn't a place that they could fully see themselves. So
- 36:23Speaker 3: it's look, it's an article that's certainly available and you
- 36:26Speaker 3: can check out the article and its totality online. He
- 36:31Speaker 3: talks about how LSU's been a place where players from
- 36:33Speaker 3: every background feel comfortable and brace celebrated, and continues to
- 36:37Speaker 3: talk about the diversity of the city. And I was
- 36:40Speaker 3: trying to pull up my notes because I did have
- 36:45Speaker 3: did have the actual numbers, and one of the things
- 36:47Speaker 3: that in an ESPN dot com article that pointed out was,
- 36:52Speaker 3: you know, for LSU Baton Rouge, the population is fifty
- 36:58Speaker 3: two percent black and thirty four percent white. In twenty
- 37:02Speaker 3: twenty four, when these numbers were taken, Oxford was sixty
- 37:05Speaker 3: six percent white and twenty six percent black, and that
- 37:09Speaker 3: was according to the ESPN article, and it's kind of
- 37:11Speaker 3: diving into the different diversities of different things in both cities,
- 37:16Speaker 3: and so certainly of the article, the thing that came
- 37:19Speaker 3: to light the most was link iff and talking about
- 37:22Speaker 3: the differences in recruiting there.
- 37:25Speaker 4: Yeah, this was uh, Like I saw the when I
- 37:30Speaker 4: first heard about this article, and like what kind of
- 37:32Speaker 4: people are getting, you know, all riled up about? I
- 37:35Speaker 4: was like, what what did he say?
- 37:38Speaker 2: That was dumb? Like what what? Why would he why
- 37:40Speaker 2: would he even talk about this?
- 37:41Speaker 4: Then you start like reading article, you start like looking
- 37:44Speaker 4: into a lot more like this.
- 37:47Speaker 2: The author of.
- 37:48Speaker 4: This article spun a just an amazing web of messiness
- 37:53Speaker 4: than just like what context was all this said? Like
- 37:56Speaker 4: the words that are actually going around aren't didn't actually
- 37:59Speaker 4: come from Lane Kiffen's mouth, Like it wasn't said, so
- 38:03Speaker 4: what is the context of Obviously this author had a
- 38:08Speaker 4: point he was trying to drive across that Lane Kiffin
- 38:11Speaker 4: wasn't necessarily trying to drive across. So I don't I
- 38:19Speaker 4: hate like when it's unfortunate that this type of you know,
- 38:27Speaker 4: you know, messaging is like has the opportunity to be
- 38:30Speaker 4: out there, like because there's some truth to everything, right,
- 38:34Speaker 4: and you don't want that to be the truth anywhere
- 38:38Speaker 4: or that type of message to be the truth anywhere.
- 38:40Speaker 4: But like the way that this article was kind of
- 38:42Speaker 4: spun and worded and guided made it look like Lane
- 38:45Speaker 4: was saying things that he actually didn't say. So it's
- 38:47Speaker 4: all about context and in what context was this was
- 38:54Speaker 4: the conversation headed Like the author and Lane, what were
- 38:57Speaker 4: they talking about that was off record?
- 38:59Speaker 2: What were they talking about? And where did.
- 39:01Speaker 4: This kind of idea what like what's sparked in this
- 39:04Speaker 4: author's like mine to be like, oh, I need to
- 39:06Speaker 4: take this and run.
- 39:07Speaker 2: Let's let's go the diversity route here.
- 39:09Speaker 3: Yeah, And for me, like, I don't think link Even
- 39:13Speaker 3: he didn't say Old miss can't recruit eleape players, they clearly.
- 39:16Speaker 2: Can, and they have.
- 39:17Speaker 3: His points seem more about overall comfort level and environment
- 39:20Speaker 3: for certain families during the recruiting process. It's not a
- 39:25Speaker 3: secret that LSU does benefit from being in a larger,
- 39:28Speaker 3: more diverse city with you know, this long history and
- 39:32Speaker 3: of success, like of all the things surrounding the program,
- 39:36Speaker 3: not just the diversity in the city. Look, it is
- 39:38Speaker 3: one of the things that vendors certainly does have to offer.
- 39:42Speaker 3: It is a much bigger city than most SEC towns.
- 39:45Speaker 3: There's more things to do, there's you know, a lot
- 39:49Speaker 3: of culture, a lot of history into the city, and
- 39:51Speaker 3: like you know, it's one of the things that in
- 39:57Speaker 3: the article doesn't feel like it's coming across the way.
- 40:00Speaker 4: Yeah, and for whatever and that reason the author makes
- 40:04Speaker 4: it tries to make it clear as to what he
- 40:06Speaker 4: thinks that reasoning is. But it's not Lane that's making
- 40:09Speaker 4: that point. Like Lane had a comment and said, there's
- 40:12Speaker 4: things that people like about university in the city, there's
- 40:16Speaker 4: things that people don't like about it. I guess the
- 40:18Speaker 4: same can be said for every city, every university.
- 40:22Speaker 2: There's things you like, it don't like. Obviously, this reasoning
- 40:25Speaker 2: that is inferred here, like is very serious.
- 40:30Speaker 4: And the author kind of takes it and runs with it.
- 40:33Speaker 4: And then the internet going to internet and it's going
- 40:35Speaker 4: to take it and run with it as well.
- 40:37Speaker 3: So LSU's only advantages aren't just like the diversity in
- 40:42Speaker 3: the city either, I mean in state, talent, brand, power,
- 40:46Speaker 3: stadium championships, NFL track record, like those things come into
- 40:51Speaker 3: play too, right.
- 40:53Speaker 4: I mean this guy, I mean, look, it's his this
- 40:57Speaker 4: guy's job to write something interesting.
- 40:59Speaker 2: It's going to get views and clicks. That's that's the job.
- 41:02Speaker 4: He's stirring the pot and he's doing it and he's
- 41:05Speaker 4: he took like a real small comment from Lane and
- 41:09Speaker 4: blew it up to this thing that has stirred the
- 41:12Speaker 4: pot and got people talking and had the started a conversation.
- 41:15Speaker 4: And so you know, I'm not gonna hate the guy
- 41:18Speaker 4: or knock the guy for doing that, right, but so
- 41:21Speaker 4: he's he's doing his job and that's that's that's the thing.
- 41:25Speaker 4: But it does make it someone you read the headlines.
- 41:27Speaker 4: It's just like anything out there's just like any clickbait,
- 41:30Speaker 4: Like you're like, well, Wlaane said what Then you look
- 41:33Speaker 4: at it and it's like, oh, well he didn't like.
- 41:37Speaker 2: He kind of referred to it a.
- 41:38Speaker 4: Little bit, but didn't He did say that though, say
- 41:41Speaker 4: that yeah, maybe that concet.
- 41:43Speaker 5: Well, like you just you can't take a quote on
- 41:45Speaker 5: the internet without any sort of context and like do
- 41:50Speaker 5: what the internet does and runs with it.
- 41:51Speaker 6: Because that's not what he said.
- 41:54Speaker 7: You've seen comments of people saying Lane Kiffin insinuates that
- 41:57Speaker 7: the Confederate f No, he didn't.
- 41:59Speaker 2: They did not want tip. Yeah, now the The comment
- 42:04Speaker 2: was some grandparents don't want their kids together?
- 42:08Speaker 4: Are their grand kids together? That's that was That was
- 42:11Speaker 4: the comment and took it and run starred the pot.
- 42:17Speaker 3: What I'm saying like big old pot even ESPN dot
- 42:19Speaker 3: com it literally is like breaking down like the Census for.
- 42:24Speaker 2: Breaking paste on that comment. Yeah, mhm.
- 42:39Speaker 3: Ah, I think September is going to be interesting in Oxford.
- 42:44Speaker 2: No, maybe maybe a little bit. Maybe we can die
- 42:50Speaker 2: back into this, but we'll take a break.
- 42:52Speaker 3: And not the only SEC coach that had a comment
- 42:56Speaker 3: that got picked up about Old Miss. We'll tell you
- 42:59Speaker 3: what that is. To come back here.
- 43:02Speaker 1: Off the bench. Strange strange Off the bench with Jacob
- 43:25Speaker 1: Hester and Matt Flynn, presented by Community Steel.
- 44:00Speaker 2: All Right, welcome back in OTB.
- 44:06Speaker 3: So it's trying to find the full quote here. So
- 44:13Speaker 3: Steve Sarkisian actually took a pretty big swipe at Old
- 44:16Speaker 3: Miss for the transfer portal practices in lower academic standards
- 44:20Speaker 3: compared to Texas.
- 44:23Speaker 2: And the quote was, and this is to USA today.
- 44:28Speaker 3: At Texas, we will only take fifty percent of a
- 44:30Speaker 3: player's academic credit hours.
- 44:33Speaker 2: You may be a semester from.
- 44:35Speaker 3: Graduating, but you're going all the way back to fifty percent.
- 44:38Speaker 2: If you play here in one a degree. But at
- 44:41Speaker 2: Old Miss they can take you.
- 44:43Speaker 3: All you have to do is take basket weaving and
- 44:45Speaker 3: you can get an Old Miss degree.
- 44:51Speaker 6: That's funny. I like how Old Miss is just getting
- 44:56Speaker 6: straight trolled right now.
- 44:59Speaker 2: He said, It's like we've forgotten about academics.
- 45:01Speaker 3: Yet less than five percent of these guys will play
- 45:04Speaker 3: in the NFL.
- 45:07Speaker 2: I hadn't heard the old basket weaving while that one.
- 45:13Speaker 2: Tiddley winks that too.
- 45:18Speaker 4: A lot of times people old school guys put underwater
- 45:20Speaker 4: basket weaving.
- 45:21Speaker 2: They put the underwater That's what we had. That was
- 45:23Speaker 2: a high school coaches a lot.
- 45:24Speaker 3: Of water basket weaving, underwater basket I haven't heard that one. Yeh,
- 45:31Speaker 3: all right, so you know so that is a yeah.
- 45:34Speaker 3: That is a another straight at Old Miss.
- 45:36Speaker 4: Another straight. I'm not going to pile on. We got
- 45:40Speaker 4: to take break off the.
