- 0:37you here on the show.
- 0:39We have an amazing master topic for the
- 0:41week, which is seeing clearly, and I'm not
- 0:42just talking about seeing through your sunglasses or
- 0:45your regular glasses, or just seeing outside.
- 0:47All right, guys, if you're new here, I
- 0:50want to say welcome, and thank you.

- 0:56Really do appreciate that from the bottom of
- 0:58my heart.
- 0:59And ladies and gentlemen, I do want to
- 1:00let you know if you have not checked

- 1:12All right, guys, before we get into the
- 1:14show, I do want to invite you to
- 1:16obviously check out BelieveMeAchieved.com after the show
- 1:18is over.
- 1:19And I also want to invite you if
- 1:20you're thirsty, grab yourself something to drink, maybe
- 1:23something to eat, whatever that is, and come
- 1:25on back to the show.
- 1:27All right, guys, without further ado, let's go
- 1:29ahead and kick this off.
- 1:31This is Inspirations for Your Life.
- 1:32This is series five.
- 1:34Wow, we're in our fifth year, four years,
- 1:36and we're almost through our third month.
- 1:38Show 11, actually, yeah, it's going to be
- 1:42show, and it's episode number four.
- 1:45I can hardly believe that we are at
- 1:49that point already.
- 1:51Actually, it's about owning your power, guys, seeing
- 1:56clearly.
- 1:57And I think that's an important thing to
- 1:59definitely understand clearly.
- 2:03Our focus today is something that a lot
- 2:06of people don't realize, and that is the
- 2:08concept of new possibilities, new possibilities.
- 2:15And so new possibilities are pretty much all
- 2:20around us.
- 2:21The question is, are you paying attention to
- 2:24them?
- 2:24That's really, I think, what it comes down
- 2:26to.
- 2:26Are you paying attention to these things, or
- 2:30are you just letting them go by you?
- 2:32Because I think a lot of times people
- 2:33just, they don't get what something is or
- 2:38why something is a certain way.
- 2:40And I think sometimes when people say or
- 2:47they hear something, they think one way, but
- 2:49then they just don't get the full concept,
- 2:53right?
- 2:54They don't get the full concept.
- 2:55And the reason they don't get the full
- 2:56concept is this.
- 2:58It's because they're looking at the wrong direction,
- 3:02right?
- 3:02They're looking at the wrong direction.
- 3:04And I think that's an important thing to
- 3:08understand is that we are in the right
- 3:13path, right, at the right time.
- 3:18I think sometimes people get frustrated because of
- 3:23where they are at the current moment, and
- 3:26they think that there's no way to change
- 3:28that.
- 3:29And I want to tell you something, ladies
- 3:30and gentlemen, there absolutely is a way to
- 3:32change that.
- 3:33Don't let the current mislead you.
- 3:36Because a lot of people say, you know,
- 3:37John, I can't do this.
- 3:39Somebody else told me I can't.
- 3:40And just because somebody else told you that
- 3:42you can't do it doesn't mean that you
- 3:44can't do it.
- 3:45But if you believe that, okay, and by
- 3:48the way, guys, I was still on 11.
- 3:50It's actually series 12, excuse me, episode four.
- 3:54And, you know, the thing about this is
- 3:57a lot of people don't think new possibilities
- 4:00are even that they're even possible.
- 4:04They're in the old doldrums.
- 4:07And that's a real problem.
- 4:09And just to give a little bit of
- 4:10a background about me in case you guys
- 4:12didn't know, I'm John Seymourly.
- 4:14I'm a serial entrepreneur.
- 4:15I'm an engineer, marketing specialist, video producer, podcast
- 4:20host, coach.
- 4:23Passionate graduate student, lifelong learner.
- 4:25And ladies and gentlemen, you know what else
- 4:26I am?
- 4:27I am also going to be a graduate,
- 4:30not only graduate, but I'm going to be
- 4:33an author in just a few months.
- 4:38So I'm really looking forward to that.
- 4:40And today we're going to talk about something
- 4:42very interesting, and that is our seeing clearly
- 4:46option.
- 4:47Okay.
- 4:48Decision making, aligning choices.
- 4:50And today specifically, we're going to dive into
- 4:53new possibilities, uncovering clarity, courage, intentional action, and
- 4:58how you can expand opportunities and growth in
- 4:59every day of your life.
- 5:01Don't think that just because someone has said
- 5:04to you, you can't do something means you
- 5:06can't.
- 5:08Henry Ford said something a long time ago,
- 5:10and that was, if you believe you can,
- 5:12you're right.
- 5:12And if you believe you can't, you are
- 5:13also right.
- 5:14And I think that's a very important thing
- 5:16for us to understand, that new visions can
- 5:20come true when we believe.
- 5:22So Henry Ford said, if you believe you
- 5:23can, you're right.
- 5:24If you believe you can't, you're also right.
- 5:26Courage expands possibility.
- 5:29Bold steps open doors.
- 5:31The hesitation will always keep closed.
- 5:34Daring to act is the bridge from thought
- 5:36to impact.
- 5:37Growth begins with belief.
- 5:40Trusting your ability fuels persistence, confidence, and allows
- 5:44you to take risks others tend to avoid.
- 5:48Action, ladies and gentlemen, unlocks progress.
- 5:51Ideas remain static until what?
- 5:54You decide to take action.
- 5:56You decide to execute something.
- 5:58Momentum is generated one step at a time.
- 6:01Opportunity, rewards, effort, consistent, deliberate effort compounds results.
- 6:07The universe responds to energy put into action.
- 6:11That's the bottom line.
- 6:13You have the ability, ladies and gentlemen, to
- 6:15put things into action.
- 6:17But are you doing it?
- 6:18I think that's the real important thing.
- 6:20Are you doing it or are you waiting
- 6:23for someone else to basically, I'm going to
- 6:27say, do it for you?
- 6:30I think that's a very important thing.
- 6:34And if we can realize that one concept,
- 6:37the fact that we can make that difference
- 6:40in our life, our life will change.
- 6:42Movement builds momentum, guys.
- 6:44Forward motion creates self-reinforcing cycles of confidence
- 6:48and clarity.
- 6:49Inertia favors those who act.
- 6:52That's right, guys.
- 6:52I said those who act.
- 6:54I didn't see those who sit basically on
- 6:59a bench and hope that they're going to
- 7:04act.
- 7:05I didn't say that.
- 7:06All right.
- 7:07I said those that are going to take
- 7:09action because the ones that act, the world
- 7:12is their oyster.
- 7:14The world is their oyster.
- 7:16All right.
- 7:18I think a lot of people don't realize
- 7:23that the world really is their oyster.
- 7:27And so I want you to understand that
- 7:34life can change if you allow it.
- 7:36Fresh thinking reveals solutions.
- 7:39Stepping outside habitual patterns uncovers approaches others miss.
- 7:43Creativity emerges from perspective shifts.
- 7:46That's right.
- 7:47Perspective shifts.
- 7:47I'm not talking about gigantic shifts, I'm talking
- 7:52about minor perspective changes in your life.
- 7:57And again, I know that this sounds like
- 8:00something that maybe, you know, you don't quite
- 8:03understand, but I want to tell you something.
- 8:06This is the key, guys.
- 8:08This is what's going to get you to
- 8:10the promised land.
- 8:12Initiative creates discovery, proactively exploring challenges leads to
- 8:17insights, waiting for permission often causes delays.
- 8:21Yes, it does, guys.
- 8:22And it causes frustration.
- 8:24So possibility grows through the action.
- 8:27Every intentional step amplifies potential.
- 8:31Doing triggers feedback that always refines strategy.
- 8:35And a lot of people, I think, are
- 8:36scared of that concept, the fact that this
- 8:39can do something.
- 8:40And vision, guys, fuels progress.
- 8:43A clear mental picture guides decisions, reduces doubt
- 8:46and aligns daily actions with long term goals.
- 8:50That's what life is about, guys.
- 8:52It's about you grabbing it and going after
- 8:55it.
- 8:56Determination strengthens outcomes.
- 8:59Commitment through challenges.
- 9:00There's going to be challenges, guys.
- 9:03And you have to stick through it to
- 9:05ensure you get results.
- 9:07Perseverance will always turn obstacles into leverage.
- 9:09And I think that's a I think that's
- 9:11a very important thing that many people miss.
- 9:14They don't think that they can do this.
- 9:16And as I said from Henry Ford, if
- 9:17we believe we can, we're right.
- 9:20And if we can't, we're also right.
- 9:22So that means that our, let's say, perception
- 9:27creates reality.
- 9:30And so just the way we think makes
- 9:34a big difference.
- 9:36And you might say to me, John, I
- 9:38don't quite understand that.
- 9:40And I want to tell you why that
- 9:42is so important.
- 9:43It's important because it shapes your belief.
- 9:47All right.
- 9:48It shapes your belief.
- 9:50And your belief is important.
- 9:52All right.
- 9:52Your belief is important.
- 9:55And so you have to realize that if
- 9:59you put something out there and it happens,
- 10:02you get more confident.
- 10:04You want to do more.
- 10:05So I tell people set a bar low
- 10:07first, get confidence and then raise that bar.
- 10:09Right.
- 10:10Because then you're going to get energy built
- 10:12up, like stored potential energy.
- 10:14So courage drives opportunity facing fear.
- 10:17What's fear?
- 10:18Fear is false evidence appearing real.
- 10:20Unlock those doors that hesitation keeps closed.
- 10:23You know, amplify every strategic choice.
- 10:27Initiative builds confidence, acting without waiting for perfect
- 10:31conditions, reinforces self-trust.
- 10:33Competence grows with experience.
- 10:35Now, some people said to me, John, and
- 10:36this is a really, really important one, and
- 10:39that is this.
- 10:40That is the fact that people will do
- 10:45one thing because someone else is doing that
- 10:50might not necessarily be the right way to
- 10:52do it, guys.
- 10:54No.
- 10:54And the reason I say that is people
- 10:57get off track because of a belief someone
- 11:02else had.
- 11:04Right.
- 11:04And so we know that the more that
- 11:07we believe in ourselves, the more that we
- 11:10can grow, the more that we can change
- 11:14who we are.
- 11:15All right.
- 11:16And I think that's a I think that's
- 11:18a very important thing for a lot of
- 11:20us to understand.
- 11:21We have the ability.
- 11:23OK, we have the ability to make changes.
- 11:28All right.
- 11:29And I will tell you guys that this
- 11:31is something you don't want to take lightly.
- 11:34All right.
- 11:35You have the ability to do more than
- 11:38you thought possible.
- 11:42And again, I think sometimes that gets people
- 11:47off track.
- 11:48But once we start to build that inertia,
- 11:50once we build that confidence, it's like taking
- 11:53an engine that you have to crank, you
- 11:55know, like if you have to crank an
- 11:56engine, once you get that crank, the engine
- 11:58starting, bam, it takes off.
- 12:00Or once you get that battery charged, guess
- 12:02what?
- 12:03It just takes off.
- 12:06And I think that's something that a lot
- 12:07of people don't realize.
- 12:10They don't realize that they can do so
- 12:13much more if they just believe they can
- 12:17do more.
- 12:19And that's something that a lot of people
- 12:22are going to flounder on for days, for
- 12:26months, for years.
- 12:28Action, ladies and gentlemen, expands potential.
- 12:31Each step that you take forward broadens your
- 12:33capacity, your effort.
- 12:35That all expands with what you previously thought
- 12:38was possible.
- 12:39Again, what you previously thought possible.
- 12:43So your thoughts, ladies and gentlemen, they create.
- 12:47Your reality, they create your reality, and I
- 12:54think that's something that a lot of people
- 12:56like, they just don't get it.
- 12:59And the reason they don't get it is
- 13:01because other people tell me, hey, you know,
- 13:03I can't do this.
- 13:06And the I can't do this is sounding
- 13:11louder than the other things in their head.
- 13:15OK, I want to tell you that sometimes
- 13:19if you're maybe you're going somewhere and there's
- 13:21a few people speaking, all right, what you
- 13:23have to understand.
- 13:25Is that.
- 13:27If you can do something and you believe
- 13:32in it, you will do it.
- 13:35All right.
- 13:35But if you believe you can't do something,
- 13:40you're going to get.
- 13:42Really sidetracked.
- 13:43All right.
- 13:46And so our belief doesn't just do something.
- 13:54Let's say to our mind, but it does
- 13:57something physically to our mind and chemically, and
- 14:01that, ladies and gentlemen, makes a huge difference
- 14:04of what we want in our lives.
- 14:08When our body can see and our mind
- 14:11can see that, hey, you know, we're doing
- 14:12something.
- 14:12Opportunity grows through persistence, guys.
- 14:16Returning to the challenge repeatedly unlocks results.
- 14:19Patience combined with consistency compounds impact.
- 14:23This isn't a one off thing.
- 14:24This is something you do one time.
- 14:26This is something you do over and over
- 14:29and over again.
- 14:31It's not something that you're going to do
- 14:33just because today seems like the day you
- 14:36want to do it.
- 14:37No, guys, this happens every single day of
- 14:40your life.
- 14:41And the question I ask you is, when
- 14:44are you going to act?
- 14:45When are you going to respond?
- 14:47And that might sound like a daunting thing,
- 14:51but you know what happens once you respond
- 14:53once and once you start to feel good
- 14:56about something.
- 14:58You keep responding, it becomes this autonomous habit
- 15:01that you want to keep doing.
- 15:03And I think that's a part that a
- 15:05lot of people don't get in life.
- 15:07They don't get the fact that they can
- 15:09make that change.
- 15:12I don't even call it a change.
- 15:13I want to call it a slight pivotal
- 15:16switch.
- 15:19Believe strengthens courage.
- 15:21You know, that's that's my slogan.
- 15:22It's been it for years.
- 15:24BelieveMeAchieve.com.
- 15:28And I think if you can understand that
- 15:32it all starts in your mind, OK?
- 15:36Everything starts in your mind.
- 15:39Then you can realize that you can go
- 15:42other places.
- 15:43You know, a wise person once told me
- 15:45this.
- 15:47Where you go in the mind, the body
- 15:50will eventually follow.
- 15:54That's a very important thing, guys.
- 15:58And I say it's important because you will
- 16:04do that if you believe you can.
- 16:11So belief strengthens our courage, confidence in your
- 16:15mission fuels risk-taking.
- 16:18Yeah.
- 16:18What you believe in determines how far you
- 16:23actually go.
- 16:24So your belief, guys, is so darn important.
- 16:29I mean, so important.
- 16:33All right.
- 16:34Important enough that I believe you can make
- 16:36a difference in your life.
- 16:41And that difference, guys.
- 16:44Is not something that you're going to see
- 16:46one little change with over time, you're going
- 16:49to see exponential growth, you're going to see
- 16:54exponential growth.
- 16:58And exponential growth.
- 17:01Happens just like compounding of our money, of
- 17:03stocks, of CDs, right?
- 17:06I think when we start to realize.
- 17:10That a pivotal shift is not that hard.
- 17:16And when we keep showing up and we
- 17:18keep doing that day in and day out.
- 17:23Okay.
- 17:25We change.
- 17:28You know what happens?
- 17:29I'm going to give you a perfect example.
- 17:31So many years ago, if you guys know
- 17:33that I was like 250 pounds, now I'm
- 17:35like 165.
- 17:36Now, I didn't make this choice because of
- 17:42anything that a doctor, medical or anybody said
- 17:46to me.
- 17:47I made this choice because of me.
- 17:50All right, John, what was the reason?
- 17:52I'm going to tell you the reason.
- 17:53The reason is I had this iPhone, which
- 17:56I still do.
- 17:56And it was on my belt, like on
- 17:58the side.
- 17:59And every time I get in the car,
- 18:00I kept knocking it off.
- 18:02And I said, enough is enough.
- 18:03I can't do this anymore.
- 18:06And that's when I realized that I had
- 18:09to do something, that I had to make
- 18:11a difference in my life.
- 18:14And I had to realize that I had
- 18:16to change.
- 18:16So what I do first, I hired a
- 18:18personal trainer.
- 18:20I then fired that personal trainer, did that
- 18:23five or six more times.
- 18:24So with like six personal trainers.
- 18:27Okay.
- 18:29And a lot of these personal trainers were
- 18:32all about knocking me.
- 18:35Trying to get me to spend more money
- 18:37with them, invest in these projects with them
- 18:41to rebuild my body.
- 18:45But, you know, guys, that's not what it
- 18:48was about.
- 18:49It was about mental discipline.
- 18:54So this one gym owner, I said to
- 18:56him, I said, so let me ask you
- 18:59a question.
- 18:59He said, yeah.
- 19:00I said, how many gyms do you have?
- 19:03He goes, I have 14.
- 19:08And so that was impressive, right?
- 19:11But what I later learned, and this changed
- 19:14the whole trajectory for me, is that he
- 19:19had 14 or 15 gyms.
- 19:24He has one right now, one, one.
- 19:33So that means, guys, you know what that
- 19:35means?
- 19:35That means that he is not doing something
- 19:38right and abusing your clients and trying to
- 19:42pin them up with other people at the
- 19:43same time and, and bill for both hours.
- 19:46That's not proper, guys.
- 19:51So you might say, John, how did I
- 19:53lose the weight?
- 19:55Being an engineer, I decided to take a
- 19:57scientific approach.
- 20:00And I decided that the best thing was
- 20:04to invest in this technology, which I did.
- 20:06And basically what it does is it reads
- 20:09your O2 level.
- 20:10If your O2 level is high, you are
- 20:13burning carbs.
- 20:16If it's low, you're burning fat.
- 20:23That's pretty interesting, guys.
- 20:26Right.
- 20:27And you might say to me, a lot
- 20:30of people would think that's something that's easy
- 20:34to do.
- 20:34But I want to tell you something.
- 20:36It's not easy to do.
- 20:39It took discipline.
- 20:41Now, after I started doing this, of course,
- 20:43I watched my weight and I used things
- 20:44like my, my, my fitness pal.
- 20:47But guys, it was more than that.
- 20:50Okay, it was more than that.
- 20:52I got into this, this plan, a consistent
- 20:55small plan, checking my breath, logging my food,
- 20:58very easy, very simple things, didn't deprive myself.
- 21:04And at the end of that year, really,
- 21:08it was really toward, I'm going to say
- 21:10I started around October.
- 21:12And by the time, like, say, February rolled
- 21:15around, I was like, wow, I lost a
- 21:17few pants sizes.
- 21:19And that seemed very interesting to me.
- 21:22Okay.
- 21:24But that all happened because of a shift
- 21:28I made, a shift I made in my
- 21:32lifestyle.
- 21:39And the shift of trying to lose 250
- 21:41pounds, that might be hard.
- 21:43But just saying, hey, I'm going to make
- 21:44a shift to make a change, just to
- 21:47feel better.
- 21:48Then I'm like, wow, I lost all this
- 21:49weight.
- 21:50So effort reveals opportunities.
- 21:51The more energy you put in, the more
- 21:53pathways you see.
- 21:55Results often emerges, guys, from relentless engagement.
- 21:58Possibility favors action.
- 22:00Fortune doesn't follow hesitation.
- 22:02Movement creates leverage, visibility, and progress.
- 22:05Vision expands direction.
- 22:07Clear objectives guide resource allocation.
- 22:11You know where to focus energy and attention.
- 22:14Do it.
- 22:15Movement strengthens growth.
- 22:17Continuous effort promotes learning.
- 22:19Repetition allows skill, mastery, and strategic insight.
- 22:24Initiative unlocks progress.
- 22:26Seizing opportunities before they vanish puts you ahead.
- 22:30Waiting reduces the advantage.
- 22:35That statement really makes me think, makes me
- 22:41think that we're full of possibilities.
- 22:46Okay.
- 22:47We are full of possibilities.
- 22:49And if we are full of possibilities, then
- 22:53I'm going to tell you something.
- 22:56There's a lot that we can do, an
- 22:59awful lot that we can do in our
- 23:00life.
- 23:01Okay.
- 23:02And that's something that maybe you didn't think
- 23:05was possible.
- 23:07But again, guys, it is.
- 23:09Courage fuels innovation.
- 23:11Bold experimentation drives breakthroughs.
- 23:14Calculated risks transform industries and personal performance.
- 23:18Persistence builds opportunity.
- 23:20Long-term consistency allows compounding wins.
- 23:23Each small step reinforces future success.
- 23:30That's pretty amazing, guys.
- 23:33That's amazing.
- 23:34Action, guys, reveals solutions.
- 23:37Testing, trying, and adjusting, I like to call
- 23:40it creative playing, uncovers answers.
- 23:43Practical execution solves theoretical problems.
- 23:46Determination strengthens momentum.
- 23:49Focus, tenacity prevents stalling.
- 23:51Progress compounds as effort accumulates.
- 23:54Vision inspires action.
- 23:56A vivid goal motivates you to start, sustain,
- 23:59and improve clarity.
- 24:00And it fuels your movement.
- 24:03It fuels your movement.
- 24:05And you can do this, guys.
- 24:08Don't get, let's say, put back because of
- 24:13something that, you know, you feel.
- 24:17And chances are, you're feeling that way because
- 24:20somebody made you feel that way.
- 24:23Remember, ladies and gentlemen, no one has the
- 24:25right to make you feel any way unless
- 24:30you give them permission.
- 24:32So, you're the only one that should allow
- 24:34people to make you feel a way, especially
- 24:37if it's not a good way.
- 24:39Courage drives progress.
- 24:40Stepping outside your comfort zone accelerates growth.
- 24:43Stagnation and is the cause, ladies and gentlemen,
- 24:46to make you feel that way.
- 24:46And what's fear, guys?
- 24:49Fear is false evidence appearing real.
- 24:56False evidence appearing real.
- 25:01I think if we can get that concept,
- 25:04if we can understand like what that means
- 25:06to us, we can really change what we're
- 25:12doing in life.
- 25:13But I get that a lot of you
- 25:15out there are going to say to me,
- 25:16John, I don't quite get this.
- 25:18And so that's why there's some experimentation.
- 25:23Opportunity grows through effort, persistence, and energy allocation.
- 25:27Unlock hidden potential.
- 25:29Visible rewards emerge gradually, like my weight loss.
- 25:32Suddenly I was like, wow, I got a
- 25:33surprise.
- 25:35Action builds discovery.
- 25:36Exploration through execution uncovers insights.
- 25:39Passive observation rarely yields breakthrough results.
- 25:42You want to sit on the couch all
- 25:44day?
- 25:44Probably not going to lose weight.
- 25:46Growth expands your future.
- 25:48Every intentional choice, effort, and courageous step multiplies
- 25:52your long-term capacity.
- 25:53A clear vision combined with deliberate action shapes
- 25:57the life that you want.
- 25:59And I think that's what all of us
- 26:01want here.
- 26:01We want to have that choice.
- 26:05And somebody says to me, John, you know,
- 26:07but I want freedom.
- 26:08I get it, you can have freedom.
- 26:10You know, when you add a little bit
- 26:11of structure to your life, guess what happens?
- 26:14Freedom becomes inevitable.
- 26:18Now I say this to you because people
- 26:21say, oh, I don't want to be in
- 26:22a structure.
- 26:22I'm in a structure, then I don't want
- 26:23freedom.
- 26:25You have freedom, guys.
- 26:27You have freedom.
- 26:29A little structure will give you so much
- 26:31freedom.
- 26:34This episode, ladies and gentlemen, is a reminder
- 26:36to all of you.
- 26:38Seeking clarity, acting deliberately, and facing challenges with
- 26:42courage will transform your potential into real-world
- 26:45results.
- 26:46Your future is built from the small intentional
- 26:48actions you take today.
- 26:53Start taking a daily action, even something small.
- 26:57Because when you do, it will compound into
- 27:01things that you never dreamt were possible.
