- 0:00Speaker 1: Bootleg Cat Podcasts special guests Caskie and he brought Tasty
- 0:04Speaker 1: with him. Let's get it in the kitchen. You guys
- 0:07Speaker 1: definitely are inseparable at this point. All right, man, we
- 0:10Speaker 1: got a formula that's working right now. Welcome, Thank you, Bro,
- 0:13Speaker 1: glad to be here. You've been ducking the show for
- 0:15Speaker 1: two years? Have I been dug in? I feel like
- 0:17Speaker 1: I'm just hard to get a hold of. I've I've
- 0:19Speaker 1: you've recorded here, like, I don't know how about a
- 0:22Speaker 1: thousand times strict COVID restrictions here? I had no COVID restriction.
- 0:26Speaker 1: We're the only studio in LA with zero. Coach just
- 0:28Speaker 1: busted out in the interview when I was recording one
- 0:30Speaker 1: time I got it in. Yeah, that saw how things work. Yeah,
- 0:34Speaker 1: I'm bad. I'm bad at schedules anyway, man, welcome, how's
- 0:38Speaker 1: everything well? First of all, you announced the new album
- 0:40Speaker 1: YEP this Friday, coming out Friday for twenty nine nobody
- 0:44Speaker 1: album drops. Uh, So you've been working on a lot
- 0:46Speaker 1: of music. You tease, like a project called Jaws YEP,
- 0:50Speaker 1: and then this album comes like what's cool? Yeah? I like,
- 0:55Speaker 1: none of my fans should ever listen to me when
- 0:56Speaker 1: I'm talking about what's coming out next, because I you know,
- 0:59Speaker 1: I switches up on me every day, all right. I
- 1:01Speaker 1: kind of got like ten ideas constantly brewing in my brain,
- 1:05Speaker 1: like albums that I'm working on. So like Jaws was
- 1:08Speaker 1: the project that I got all my producers on, Like
- 1:11Speaker 1: I pretty much got like six guys that been my
- 1:13Speaker 1: go to guys, including Chalk. Now, so Jaws is like
- 1:16Speaker 1: the project with everybody on it, and it's turning out. Also, honestly,
- 1:21Speaker 1: it's like half done right now. It's sick, but it's
- 1:23Speaker 1: just like it's hard to get seven dudes from different
- 1:26Speaker 1: parts of the country, you know, and and Locke lives
- 1:29Speaker 1: in Germany now, so oh shit, Jaws put on hold,
- 1:32Speaker 1: Like I think we're gonna do second session in May,
- 1:34Speaker 1: but yeah, nobody like me and Tasty record Demni every day,
- 1:37Speaker 1: so nobody was like, let's let's give him some crack.
- 1:39Speaker 1: You knock it out quickly, not really, I mean, like,
- 1:43Speaker 1: you know, it's been about six months. Some of the
- 1:45Speaker 1: records are like yes, some are brand new, but some yeah,
- 1:48Speaker 1: about six months. Because last year you did you put
- 1:51Speaker 1: out the project with Chalk find Our and the Wolf Project,
- 1:54Speaker 1: and then you're the Wolf Collab project and then you
- 1:57Speaker 1: put out like one hundred dollars mixtape. Yeah we did that,
- 2:01Speaker 1: which was you sold a thousand of them rights and copies. Yeah,
- 2:05Speaker 1: real Nipsey hustle, like man, shout out Nipsey to go.
- 2:08Speaker 1: You sold? So was it all? They were all on
- 2:10Speaker 1: USB's right now. We did. We did like eight hundred
- 2:15Speaker 1: physical CDs and like two hundred USBs or something like that.
- 2:17Speaker 1: So nice little hundred thousand dollars come up. Yeah, you
- 2:20Speaker 1: could say that, how like how did you decide what
- 2:23Speaker 1: to put on the how did you decide what to
- 2:25Speaker 1: put on the one hundred dollars project? But like the
- 2:28Speaker 1: original idea behind it was like, you know, as an artist,
- 2:32Speaker 1: you got a lot of music, you know what I mean,
- 2:33Speaker 1: you know, for managing artists is like we record hundreds
- 2:36Speaker 1: of songs and almost that nobody will ever hear. Yeah,
- 2:38Speaker 1: and a lot of it's really dope, you know. So
- 2:40Speaker 1: the kind of the idea is like we still wanted
- 2:42Speaker 1: to work on this album, like still working on Nobody,
- 2:44Speaker 1: still working on Jaws. But I don't know, we were
- 2:46Speaker 1: just like, man, what's a way that we could like
- 2:48Speaker 1: really give people these records that I don't know if
- 2:50Speaker 1: they'll come out for you know, another year or whatever,
- 2:53Speaker 1: and so we just like, I don't know, we put
- 2:55Speaker 1: our heads together. The one hundred Dollar mixege was twenty
- 2:57Speaker 1: five songs, so twenty five records. Are they never ever
- 3:01Speaker 1: going to be on DSPs? And nobody and nobody's uploaded
- 3:03Speaker 1: it online because I wrote everybody a letter, Like all
- 3:06Speaker 1: thousand came with this typewriter letter from me that was
- 3:09Speaker 1: just basically explaining to them that this was like a
- 3:12Speaker 1: sacrifice to the creative gods. You know, it's like twenty
- 3:14Speaker 1: five records I put hours in that I'm not going
- 3:17Speaker 1: to put out. They're just for the fans, and no
- 3:19Speaker 1: one's leaked. One's leaked it. I still looking at it.
- 3:22Speaker 1: I'm like, bro, we got the coolest fans man. Everybody real.
- 3:25Speaker 1: They asked me before they play it for their friends,
- 3:28Speaker 1: they'll DM me and be like, bro, can I show
- 3:30Speaker 1: my homie the table? I'm like, yeah, that's crazy quick
- 3:33Speaker 1: hunting Bag one hundred thousand, it's a nice coming, man.
- 3:38Speaker 1: Oh yeah, that was great. Me and Tasty has been
- 3:40Speaker 1: figuring out how to get the bag independent. I feel
- 3:42Speaker 1: like we've been pretty creative. Yeah, I mean Yeah, for
- 3:46Speaker 1: artists who are watching this, like, what are some of
- 3:48Speaker 1: the things that you have figured out when it I mean,
- 3:51Speaker 1: obviously you do features, and I love how you address
- 3:55Speaker 1: some of those artists that you do features for on
- 3:57Speaker 1: fine art, I said, I said. I never what I said.
- 4:02Speaker 1: I never sold out just to I never made music
- 4:06Speaker 1: just to make it deal. Except for every feature that
- 4:07Speaker 1: I ever did trying to only be a rapper and
- 4:10Speaker 1: pay the bills. But shout out them rappers. They kept
- 4:12Speaker 1: it alive. I hope they'll thrive and win. My feature
- 4:14Speaker 1: price too high, you never could buy it again. I thought,
- 4:17Speaker 1: you know, like I really do appreciate all the artist
- 4:20Speaker 1: you know. I know some people maybe look at the
- 4:22Speaker 1: features and it's like these some of these people ain't
- 4:25Speaker 1: on your level. But like, I don't know, it's all
- 4:27Speaker 1: practice for me and feed the family, come with the bag,
- 4:30Speaker 1: happy to get it. Bro. Yeah, I've seen a few
- 4:32Speaker 1: guys you've done songs with and I'm like, hm, I
- 4:34Speaker 1: don't discriminate. The money's blue. I'm in there. The money's blue.
- 4:37Speaker 1: I don't feel like it like take away from my
- 4:39Speaker 1: brand because I just I make so much music and
- 4:41Speaker 1: I don't know I'm coming every time, Like every single
- 4:44Speaker 1: one of those features, they gotta fucking they got a
- 4:46Speaker 1: ten out of ten verse so and there's always that
- 4:48Speaker 1: respect like for up and coming artists, no matter how
- 4:51Speaker 1: good they are or whatever, and I just like get
- 4:54Speaker 1: it somewhere. Yeah, Like that was my first, like I first,
- 4:57Speaker 1: my first foot in the industry was a paid features actually,
- 5:00Speaker 1: Jelly bro that was the first and the only feature
- 5:02Speaker 1: I bought, and that was like my foot in. So
- 5:04Speaker 1: well you're with that, like twenty twelve, twenty twelve, Yeah,
- 5:07Speaker 1: I actually highlights saw me last night and showed me
- 5:09Speaker 1: a video of me and Jelly from fucking nine years ago.
- 5:11Speaker 1: I was like, that's so crazy because I first met
- 5:14Speaker 1: Jelly in twenty fourteen thirteen. Yeah, he was a I
- 5:17Speaker 1: picked him, Like, I hope he's not mad at me
- 5:19Speaker 1: for saying this, but I pat him for like two
- 5:20Speaker 1: hundred and fifty dollars firs. He was like, man, fuck it,
- 5:23Speaker 1: he fucked with my managers. He's like, shit, paid for
- 5:25Speaker 1: my studio time and I'll come do it. Oh wow,
- 5:28Speaker 1: that was like my first like foot in I guess
- 5:30Speaker 1: to the game was that before cash Money yeh, pre
- 5:33Speaker 1: cast money, the song thatver even came out. It was
- 5:35Speaker 1: called day No. It was like, bro, I'm in a
- 5:37Speaker 1: triple X white tea riding in these donks in Florida
- 5:40Speaker 1: and shit, it was so you put out a mixtape
- 5:43Speaker 1: and make one hundred thousand dollars selling a thousand copies allegedly, Well,
- 5:49Speaker 1: everyone's got to get paid off. Allegedly, we made a
- 5:52Speaker 1: hundred racks. You'll do some features. What are the other
- 5:57Speaker 1: things you're doing to show stream I mean streaming bag
- 6:01Speaker 1: is we're making beats to you, guys are making beats
- 6:03Speaker 1: too Tasty taught me that he'd make a crazy bag
- 6:07Speaker 1: off of beats, and like he's been teaching me production
- 6:09Speaker 1: here and there and ship. So we put a beat
- 6:11Speaker 1: tape together out we made I'll tell you after the show,
- 6:16Speaker 1: you're druck in the high r s. Yeah, it was
- 6:18Speaker 1: a chunk. So we made good money out there as streams.
- 6:21Speaker 1: I mean the Wolf the Wolf album increased me in
- 6:23Speaker 1: his pocket is about double. That Wolf album was a
- 6:28Speaker 1: nice little game changer for you. You feel like, yeah,
- 6:30Speaker 1: shout out the Yellow Wolf. I just want to say
- 6:32Speaker 1: he's the only and the realist artist for being one
- 6:35Speaker 1: of the few that like gave me public love. But
- 6:38Speaker 1: also put a bag in my pocket. You know. Besides Berdman,
- 6:41Speaker 1: Ain't nobody ever done that, So he's real for that
- 6:45Speaker 1: big bag. Yeah, and he doesn't work with like anyone. No. Hell,
- 6:49Speaker 1: we've been waiting for him and Rich to put a
- 6:50Speaker 1: project out for like twelve years, and I wonder that
- 6:53Speaker 1: I haven't. It's never gonna happen. We've been talking about
- 6:55Speaker 1: part two, that'll be fire. He's you know, he's in
- 6:59Speaker 1: his rock mode in the album. Well, but at some
- 7:02Speaker 1: point when it's Ness said, you know, every time I
- 7:04Speaker 1: send him a record, he'd be like, man, we took
- 7:06Speaker 1: the lead on those songs. I took the lead as
- 7:09Speaker 1: far as I chose all the beats like Tasty Yeah,
- 7:14Speaker 1: Like we pretty much read Tastey's house picking beats out
- 7:16Speaker 1: for a couple of days. So I came with like
- 7:19Speaker 1: the creative direction as far as like beats and like
- 7:21Speaker 1: what you know, I kind of thought directions were gonna
- 7:23Speaker 1: be But I mean, as far as the records go,
- 7:26Speaker 1: it was pretty much even like Wolf the intro. Wolf
- 7:29Speaker 1: wrote his very right when I played on the beat.
- 7:30Speaker 1: He wrote that shit in about ten minutes. And yeah,
- 7:32Speaker 1: I feel like Wolf really brought the bars out of
- 7:34Speaker 1: him he turned up. So it was pretty I mean
- 7:37Speaker 1: it's pretty even as far as like the writing and
- 7:40Speaker 1: shit went. But he kind of like gave me the
- 7:42Speaker 1: go to to just kind of forefront the direction of you.
- 7:44Speaker 1: I feel like lyrically you had your sharpest year last
- 7:46Speaker 1: year because I feel like fine art was very much
- 7:49Speaker 1: like a very heavy on the bars. Yeah, Like what
- 7:54Speaker 1: it was was that when you know, I've been recording
- 7:57Speaker 1: myself for a long time, so a lot of times
- 7:58Speaker 1: you get in there kind of freestyle your vibes. But
- 8:01Speaker 1: when I was in Nashville working on the Wolf album,
- 8:03Speaker 1: like they record everything analog like or like through this board,
- 8:07Speaker 1: you know, so like no presets on your vocals, so
- 8:10Speaker 1: I kind of just had to get back into like
- 8:12Speaker 1: my writing bag. And then it just kind of like
- 8:13Speaker 1: reminded me, like I'm fucking top tier when I do that,
- 8:17Speaker 1: you know, So I think fine art and that. Yeah,
- 8:20Speaker 1: do you feel like because I feel like you'd always
- 8:22Speaker 1: kind of been doing your thing independently, But I feel
- 8:24Speaker 1: like from the beginning of the pandemic you had, the
- 8:29Speaker 1: pandemic brought the hustle out you and never was in you.
- 8:32Speaker 1: Pandemic just turned us up. What the fuck is the
- 8:34Speaker 1: name of the We Ain't Scared of No Police, bitch
- 8:37Speaker 1: marshal Ow. That was like, that was our biggest record.
- 8:39Speaker 1: I was gonna say, thats your biggest record up until
- 8:41Speaker 1: the Wolf album came out, and so it's like, dang god,
- 8:44Speaker 1: because like my biggest record prie of that was like
- 8:45Speaker 1: a record. Yeah, yeah, yeah, we did that. We did
- 8:50Speaker 1: the we like we were recording here right when the
- 8:52Speaker 1: Pandemic was starting to hit. Yeah, and then I was like, yeah,
- 8:55Speaker 1: we should do a fucking pandemic theme table, came up
- 8:58Speaker 1: with all the song titles, and then knocked that shit
- 9:01Speaker 1: out in like two days. It's crazy because that song
- 9:04Speaker 1: came out like a month or two prior to all
- 9:06Speaker 1: that like civil rights stuff with the Black Lives Matter
- 9:09Speaker 1: and everything, so it was just we didn't play none
- 9:11Speaker 1: of that. It's just you know, that was like, I
- 9:14Speaker 1: feel like you were one of the first guys to
- 9:17Speaker 1: put a pandemic. Everyone had a Pandemic project yeah, and
- 9:20Speaker 1: had like kind of got played out at some point,
- 9:22Speaker 1: But now, like, do you feel like because I feel
- 9:24Speaker 1: like you've had the best two and a half years
- 9:27Speaker 1: of your career since the Pandemic started or two years. Yeah.
- 9:29Speaker 1: You know what's crazy is that, like my bag kind
- 9:32Speaker 1: of slowed at first because you know, like the pandemic
- 9:35Speaker 1: hit right when we were finishing up this tour, so
- 9:36Speaker 1: like tours like a third of the bag, right, you know,
- 9:38Speaker 1: as a artist you got like streams merch tour, so
- 9:42Speaker 1: like I felt like a third of the bag was gone, right,
- 9:45Speaker 1: and then we just I don't know, me and Tacy
- 9:47Speaker 1: are addicted to money, so we're like, you know, when
- 9:50Speaker 1: some stimulus sex started coming, everybody had money. Yeah, we
- 9:54Speaker 1: features taking all the stimulus money. We got every rapper
- 9:57Speaker 1: stimulus check now, like honestly, just it brought the focus
- 10:01Speaker 1: back to the music, which was dope. And then the
- 10:03Speaker 1: woof shit happened. Like I don't know, there was just
- 10:04Speaker 1: a lot of like pivotal things going on in my
- 10:06Speaker 1: life around that time that just all added up to that.
- 10:09Speaker 1: We got to stop the interview real quick man. Shout
- 10:11Speaker 1: out to our sponsors at blue Chow. The good thing
- 10:14Speaker 1: about blue Choo not only does it make that dick
- 10:16Speaker 1: fucking you know what I mean, get that thing swinging
- 10:20Speaker 1: like it never swang before. But what I love about
- 10:24Speaker 1: blue Choo is it's all online man. You know, usually
- 10:27Speaker 1: when you want to go and get some of that,
- 10:29Speaker 1: you know, some of that good good, some of that
- 10:31Speaker 1: blue choose, maybe some viagra. First of all, it's got
- 10:33Speaker 1: the same exact active ingredients as viagra and scialis. But
- 10:37Speaker 1: you don't have to go into the doctor's office to
- 10:38Speaker 1: get it right. All you gotta do is go to
- 10:40Speaker 1: blue choo dot com. You have an online consultation and
- 10:43Speaker 1: then they discreetly send it to you. And it's also
- 10:47Speaker 1: discreet villain. You know what I'm saying, it's crazy. Let
- 10:50Speaker 1: me tell you something. Maybe you got a first date.
- 10:52Speaker 1: You want to make sure you blow them back out
- 10:54Speaker 1: that thing. You know what I'm saying, Woo pop that
- 10:58Speaker 1: blue choochu form. Some people don't like swallowing pills. Ladies
- 11:03Speaker 1: are gonna love to swallow you though. Once you're on
- 11:05Speaker 1: that blue Choo I'll tell you that much, Bud for sure.
- 11:08Speaker 1: So what you gotta do is go to bluetoo dot com,

- 11:13Speaker 1: month supply of blue Choo for free. All right. You're
- 11:18Speaker 1: gonna thank me later for this. The fact that the
- 11:20Speaker 1: NLK boys use martial law Is that what kind of
- 11:23Speaker 1: helped pop that record? Yeah, like Steve will do it
- 11:25Speaker 1: really love that record. Yeah, it was like a lot
- 11:27Speaker 1: of things, you know, the pandemic, social media, the protest video.
- 11:31Speaker 1: It was just a moment. We couldn't have planned it,
- 11:34Speaker 1: you know, it just happened. You got Jesse. Uh this
- 11:37Speaker 1: is the second video he's been in, but this video
- 11:39Speaker 1: he is like, he's like in the video, had this
- 11:42Speaker 1: idea for like a minute. You know you've seen it
- 11:43Speaker 1: with like the pop stuff. Yeah, that Jesse people were there.
- 11:46Speaker 1: I thought that was so funny. I've been wanting to
- 11:48Speaker 1: do that for a grip and Jesse and I was
- 11:50Speaker 1: tossing the idea. He was down, Like I sent him
- 11:53Speaker 1: the lyrics. He's like, I got this. I'm about to
- 11:55Speaker 1: fucking hone him. He loves it. He want to be
- 11:57Speaker 1: a rapper or something. Dude. He recorded here bro. I
- 12:00Speaker 1: remember nobody was like, Yo, we should do a comedy skit.
- 12:05Speaker 1: How about the skit when when he's homies in the
- 12:08Speaker 1: booth and he's like, yeah, I'm just thinking like more
- 12:10Speaker 1: tropical vibes. Like he's awesome that. I like. The was
- 12:16Speaker 1: like Jesse, good dude. Jesse's a good dude man. Yeah,
- 12:18Speaker 1: so yeah, because I feel like, did you barely just
- 12:20Speaker 1: meet him during the pandemic? Yeah, like I had. I
- 12:23Speaker 1: met Steve will do It because he's from Ovido, which
- 12:26Speaker 1: like my high school when it springs in Oviedo or
- 12:29Speaker 1: like rival schools, So like we had some mutual friends
- 12:31Speaker 1: and ship. I knew he was. He brought me out
- 12:33Speaker 1: to the Noake Spy and then I met them and
- 12:35Speaker 1: Jesse just he's on my way, dude, shout Florida Man
- 12:39Speaker 1: producing Steve will do It and CASKI Bro and Mike
- 12:44Speaker 1: Busey Florida characters. Bro, can you tell us about the
- 12:50Speaker 1: craziest time you've had a Mike Bucy's house? Uh no, no, no,
- 12:55Speaker 1: I love it honestly, like every time. And what's the
- 12:58Speaker 1: craziest thing you've witnessed the involved the craziest thing I've
- 13:02Speaker 1: ever seen? Well, I just saw the story post of
- 13:06Speaker 1: this lady sucking off like a thousand veteran dicks. Yeah,
- 13:10Speaker 1: that was pretty much disgusting. You were there for. This
- 13:13Speaker 1: was something you were there for. Now, I wasn't there
- 13:15Speaker 1: for that craziest shit. I was there. I mean just
- 13:18Speaker 1: like crazy orgies with like clowns and nidgets and shit
- 13:22Speaker 1: like that. What's that smell? Like? Gross? Smells like the
- 13:26Speaker 1: gathering of the Juggalos or something. It's like a trailer
- 13:29Speaker 1: park playboy mansion. Yeah, shout out to Mike. My beauty
- 13:32Speaker 1: is an absolute legend and honestly one of the kindest
- 13:35Speaker 1: people to be big got a big hard heart, like
- 13:38Speaker 1: put on for me. Just good dude, man, solid dude. Man.
- 13:42Speaker 1: Let's go back. How did uh you initially end up
- 13:45Speaker 1: linking with cash money? Like what? What? What was it
- 13:48Speaker 1: that you were doing that? For sure? Birdman's radar super
- 13:51Speaker 1: random couldn't even plan it. Like I had did this
- 13:53Speaker 1: feature for this kid, uh, my homie Noel Kid famous
- 13:57Speaker 1: at the time, and he was being managed by DJ Nash,
- 14:00Speaker 1: who was like, yep, good dude, did we talk about
- 14:03Speaker 1: DJ Nasty from Orlando? Nasty hit me up and was like, yo,
- 14:06Speaker 1: I got somebody that want to check you out and
- 14:09Speaker 1: shit bird Man, and so bird called me up one day.
- 14:12Speaker 1: It was like, basically, just because I had did this
- 14:14Speaker 1: feature record with this kid, he hadn't really heard nothing
- 14:16Speaker 1: of me, and he was like, man, come to Miami,
- 14:18Speaker 1: I want you to play me some records and then
- 14:19Speaker 1: it was just kind of on and popping from there.
- 14:23Speaker 1: Super random, super random. Birdman offers you a deal. What
- 14:27Speaker 1: year was this twenty thirteen? Fuck yeah yeah twenty thirteen.
- 14:31Speaker 1: Ye did you even like look at the contract? I
- 14:33Speaker 1: sent it off to the lawyer, but I was like, yeah,
- 14:35Speaker 1: whatever it says, let's go. Like, honestly, like birded, like
- 14:39Speaker 1: our relationship was different. It wasn't like all business y
- 14:43Speaker 1: and you know, labels, like it was just him being like, yo, shit,
- 14:46Speaker 1: I want to be a part of your career. Like
- 14:48Speaker 1: here's a bag. Like, honestly, cash money has been like
- 14:50Speaker 1: the least, Like I don't know, I was blessed for
- 14:53Speaker 1: that situation. Like they never were like strictlers on trying
- 14:55Speaker 1: to recoup money from me and just weird shit. Like
- 14:58Speaker 1: to be real, they just gave me a fat ass
- 15:00Speaker 1: bag and did some things for me. So I'm like, well,
- 15:02Speaker 1: because we always hear, yeah it's mad things about bird
- 15:06Speaker 1: all fucking or like, you know, my fans will be
- 15:08Speaker 1: like his music's changing because of cash money or birds
- 15:11Speaker 1: not putting off you know, all that kind of shit.
- 15:13Speaker 1: But like my real perspective of it is that, like,
- 15:16Speaker 1: you know, I don't think nobody owe me anything in
- 15:19Speaker 1: this world. And so to me, like birds did far
- 15:22Speaker 1: beyond what he owed me. You know, he don't owe
- 15:24Speaker 1: me shit. So he gave me, you know, two hundred
- 15:27Speaker 1: rags or something like that. When I was nineteen, you know,
- 15:29Speaker 1: I was a jit, so I was super dope. Hundreds. Yeah,
- 15:32Speaker 1: And so like they did some other shit like as
- 15:34Speaker 1: the label for me, video shoots and a couple of things.
- 15:37Speaker 1: But after that it was kind of like they were
- 15:39Speaker 1: going through this shit with wane. Streaming music became a thing,
- 15:42Speaker 1: so like the whole situation just kind of changed, and
- 15:45Speaker 1: like I think they were still like at this place
- 15:48Speaker 1: of like learning how to navigate the new music scene,
- 15:51Speaker 1: because you know, it's not the mixtape er anymore. It's like,
- 15:54Speaker 1: you know, this new era. So I think they're trying
- 15:56Speaker 1: to figure that out, and I just kind of did
- 15:58Speaker 1: my thing. But they just always gave me freedom to
- 16:00Speaker 1: put out the music I want to make the music.
- 16:02Speaker 1: They never tripped on you like recouping or nothing. Bro.
- 16:04Speaker 1: They let me put cash money logos on merch and
- 16:07Speaker 1: sell the merch and keep all the money. They bought
- 16:09Speaker 1: me a tour bus for a tour, didn't recoup any
- 16:12Speaker 1: money off that, like they should all me bro, So
- 16:15Speaker 1: all those like indie projects that you've been putting out,
- 16:17Speaker 1: like that's all you. I have one hundred percent of
- 16:19Speaker 1: all of that money, and I always have what's your
- 16:21Speaker 1: relationship like with Birdman, because I know you talked to
- 16:24Speaker 1: him not too long ago. We're talking shit like it's
- 16:26Speaker 1: just good. Like he's just kind of like a mentor.
- 16:28Speaker 1: Do you think like if you really catch a wave,
- 16:30Speaker 1: he's gonna call you and be like, hey man, yeah,
- 16:33Speaker 1: and I'd probably rocked the funk out because to me,
- 16:35Speaker 1: like he just is real solid, Like you know, from
- 16:38Speaker 1: whatever people's perspective is on like what the label could
- 16:41Speaker 1: have done. But I think people have this perception that
- 16:44Speaker 1: like a label could really make you popping, and I
- 16:46Speaker 1: think there's more things the label could have done maybe
- 16:49Speaker 1: to be behind shit, but I'm like, you know, I
- 16:51Speaker 1: think really the burden falls on the artists, and I
- 16:53Speaker 1: wasn't really ready to carry that burden at the time,
- 16:55Speaker 1: so you know, I was just legit, So there wasn't
- 16:58Speaker 1: really much they could have did. I feel like they
- 17:00Speaker 1: did a lot and if I was ready at that
- 17:02Speaker 1: there's also like a weird white rapper era low key,
- 17:05Speaker 1: like everyone was fighting to be like the white rapper
- 17:08Speaker 1: MGK was beefing with Yellow Wolf. There's Maclamore. It's like
- 17:12Speaker 1: it was just like you know, because now it's like
- 17:14Speaker 1: I feel like it's not as like weird. I'm glad
- 17:16Speaker 1: we passed with Maclamore. And no disrespect mclamoy. Great, got
- 17:19Speaker 1: a nice guy. But hey, that album was solid. No
- 17:22Speaker 1: it was not, you're crazy, bro, album was not you're
- 17:25Speaker 1: telling me that album wasn't good wings. I did not
- 17:29Speaker 1: like one song and Maclamore ry artists good. It was
- 17:33Speaker 1: a great album. Man. It wasn't better than Kendrick good
- 17:36Speaker 1: Kid Mad City, but it was a good body of
- 17:39Speaker 1: course not. It depends what. It depends what. It depends
- 17:43Speaker 1: what metrics were measured us. It was music that I
- 17:47Speaker 1: would bump. But but everybody got different flavors. I mean,
- 17:51Speaker 1: so there's no disrespect. I'm sure Macliamore wasn't a bad album,
- 17:54Speaker 1: though you said it was a bad album to me personally,
- 17:56Speaker 1: just because it's something you won't listen to, that's what
- 17:59Speaker 1: makes it bad to me. I mean, I'm not listening
- 18:01Speaker 1: to fucking Adele when I drive around, but I'm not
- 18:03Speaker 1: gonna call album trash. You know, but there's Adele songs
- 18:06Speaker 1: I like, and there's a Maclamore song you like one.
- 18:09Speaker 1: There's no way there's not a single man one playing
- 18:11Speaker 1: for me. When you first heard thrift Shop, you didn't
- 18:13Speaker 1: say this is kind of funky. Now I hated it. Yeah,
- 18:16Speaker 1: but I was like, but no, But I was also
- 18:19Speaker 1: But I was also a white rapper coming up watching
- 18:22Speaker 1: this guy. You know, I've had to do with that
- 18:23Speaker 1: a bunch of time, just watching like another dude blow up.
- 18:26Speaker 1: They're just like, what the fuck is this? What's going on?
- 18:29Speaker 1: That wasn't my wave. I wasn't really big on the
- 18:31Speaker 1: Maclimoe at Lea's probably a nice dude. Do you think
- 18:34Speaker 1: back and say to yourself, Wow, I was a part
- 18:35Speaker 1: of the rich Gang album, one of the most like
- 18:37Speaker 1: pivotal influential projects ever. Yeah. I was excited to be
- 18:42Speaker 1: a part of the whole moments where like rich Homy
- 18:44Speaker 1: and Thug were popping. That's what I'm saying. I was
- 18:46Speaker 1: around all those in those studio sessions and just like,
- 18:48Speaker 1: you know, miss that wave. It was dope. So you
- 18:50Speaker 1: were in the sessions with rich On and and younger,
- 18:53Speaker 1: they did that like Milk Marie one, and they did
- 18:56Speaker 1: that one in the studio, uh the studio that I recorded,
- 19:00Speaker 1: and uh yeah I was there. I was there when
- 19:01Speaker 1: they made fucking Lifestyle. Really yeah, what was that? Like crazy?
- 19:06Speaker 1: Everybody knew was a hit. Bird was like this is
- 19:07Speaker 1: the one, Like we all just were like the lead
- 19:10Speaker 1: on Lifestyle. As far as the Thug came up with
- 19:13Speaker 1: the metal and everything, yeah, he's yeah, he did his
- 19:15Speaker 1: name and Homi late his verse. But yeah, that was
- 19:18Speaker 1: just that was just a dope era to be around.
- 19:20Speaker 1: Like I don't know, I was like soaking up game
- 19:22Speaker 1: at that time, like just kind of just in awe.
- 19:24Speaker 1: It was. That's a pretty big deal to say you
- 19:26Speaker 1: were at the Lifestyle session. Yeah it was dope. Birdman
- 19:29Speaker 1: was there. Yep. Everyone knew. Yeah. Yeah, Like Thug had
- 19:33Speaker 1: a lot of dope records, Like he had bro records
- 19:36Speaker 1: that didn't come out to like Slim Season three or
- 19:39Speaker 1: four or three that that were dope. So like he
- 19:43Speaker 1: had all these records playing, but they were trying to
- 19:45Speaker 1: find that like real single that took it off. And
- 19:48Speaker 1: I don't know, bird got a crazy ear for music.
- 19:50Speaker 1: He was like the second they made it, he was
- 19:52Speaker 1: like this is the one we shooting the video. It's over.
- 19:54Speaker 1: I wish Rich Homie Kwan was I don't know, man,
- 19:59Speaker 1: you know he got locked out by his well, he
- 20:00Speaker 1: got locked out by his label. He was signed to
- 20:03Speaker 1: that label. Now, what's the real reason why they're not
- 20:05Speaker 1: fucking each other? Because it was some that I don't know.
- 20:07Speaker 1: I just mean, like he couldn't put out music for
- 20:09Speaker 1: like three or four years, so like he just kind
- 20:11Speaker 1: of cooled off. Why do people listen to that? I
- 20:13Speaker 1: would never listen to that. If the label told me
- 20:15Speaker 1: I can let me, I would just change my name
- 20:17Speaker 1: or something. Yeah, Rich Homi Kwan and Young Thug were
- 20:20Speaker 1: like they were like Kobe and uh in Shack back
- 20:23Speaker 1: in the day. It was a cool value. But now
- 20:25Speaker 1: you got me and Yellow. Who else was on? Who
- 20:27Speaker 1: else was technically rich Hello London on the track Durezda
- 20:31Speaker 1: Shane so dope really dope, really slept on dope artists
- 20:36Speaker 1: London that was like dope London. He pretty much hanneled
- 20:40Speaker 1: the production. Yeah, London was killing it. I remember, honestly,
- 20:43Speaker 1: like no knock to my guys, but like I had
- 20:45Speaker 1: to when they made that Milk Marie record, I like
- 20:47Speaker 1: had my guys playing some beats at first, and it
- 20:50Speaker 1: was the energy was a little dry, and then London
- 20:52Speaker 1: hopped up and went boom and just the whole fucking
- 20:56Speaker 1: room went, oh fucking it was out of there. That's crazy.
- 21:00Speaker 1: That's basically what Tasty does now. Pre Tasty. Yeah, it's
- 21:03Speaker 1: pre tasty. Like once I met Tasty, it was like, yeah,
- 21:06Speaker 1: it's damn you used to work with any of your
- 21:10Speaker 1: old orlandos. Yeah, hell yeah, all my guys and they've
- 21:12Speaker 1: all like improved and gotten really dope. Like everybody's on
- 21:16Speaker 1: jobs pretty much, Mass Hector, Tony chak Log, Tasty, Grant,
- 21:20Speaker 1: Angel Hill, me pretty much. Yo. We got to stop
- 21:25Speaker 1: the interview real quick. Tell us about I'm gonna tell
- 21:27Speaker 1: you about our partners at my bookie Man. Make sure
- 21:29Speaker 1: you go to my bookie dot ag right now. It's
- 21:32Speaker 1: gambling season. NBA playoffs are about to start. What are

- 21:42Speaker 1: is go to my bookie dot com right now. Let's

- 22:05Speaker 1: for the Suns all the way. Just throw all your
- 22:07Speaker 1: money on the Phoenix Suns, all right, and then bet
- 22:11Speaker 1: that the Warriors won't make it out of the first
- 22:13Speaker 1: fucking round because Joki is gonna fucking pound them in
- 22:16Speaker 1: their ass. Probably great odds on that one. Anyway. My
- 22:20Speaker 1: bookie dot ag, my bookie just fucking googled the ship.
- 22:23Speaker 1: My bookie used the promo code Bootleg, and they will
- 22:26Speaker 1: match your deposit free money, free money up to one
- 22:29Speaker 1: thousand dollars. Would you ever sign an artist? I really
- 22:33Speaker 1: want to. Yeah, I uh you know, I'm like still
- 22:36Speaker 1: uh fine tuning and learning the independent game. But I
- 22:39Speaker 1: feel like once I really feel like established and I
- 22:42Speaker 1: got like enough bag that I could put behind the
- 22:44Speaker 1: artists and blow it and not come back, then I'll
- 22:47Speaker 1: dump it in. But I got. I don't know. I
- 22:49Speaker 1: feel like I got a good year. I'd signed angel
- 22:52Speaker 1: Angel Hill. Yeah he coming on, Like shout out to
- 22:54Speaker 1: Angel Hill, come through your let's share him not for real,
- 22:58Speaker 1: get him to not move to Springfield, Missouri. Well, my
- 23:01Speaker 1: thing is that, My thing is that I don't like
- 23:03Speaker 1: I want to sign artists that I believe in and
- 23:05Speaker 1: just have like a different type of deal. Like I
- 23:07Speaker 1: just feel like all the deals that are going on
- 23:09Speaker 1: right now is like either labels trying to take too
- 23:11Speaker 1: much or it's an advance on your money. I feel
- 23:13Speaker 1: like there's ways to sign artists, make your money back,
- 23:15Speaker 1: make money, and them be rich as fuck. So yeah,
- 23:18Speaker 1: hey listen man, I think yeah, I think like it's
- 23:21Speaker 1: always tricky when you're like a super active artist, uh
- 23:25Speaker 1: still trying to make it to have another artist under you,
- 23:28Speaker 1: because it's like I want to do that, you know
- 23:29Speaker 1: what I mean. I don't want to feel that. I
- 23:31Speaker 1: don't want them to feel hindered by me. And also
- 23:33Speaker 1: just like I got a lot of ways to go.
- 23:35Speaker 1: I'm like selfish because you'll see, like you'll see like
- 23:38Speaker 1: an artist to be like yeah I got a label,
- 23:39Speaker 1: be like bro, but you ain't even all the way
- 23:41Speaker 1: like there yet, but like your damnself, do it the
- 23:43Speaker 1: right way, you know. Yeah, it's like I really want
- 23:46Speaker 1: to have that like billboard. That's why Yo Gotti is
- 23:48Speaker 1: working so well, because your Gotti established he wants everyone
- 23:51Speaker 1: to be bigger than him. He's already done it, you
- 23:53Speaker 1: know what I mean. Yeah, So in time, so uh,
- 23:57Speaker 1: you go from being on cash money fast forward, you
- 24:01Speaker 1: drop a tape Yellowolf. You're kind of like, how how
- 24:05Speaker 1: have you navigated not getting stuck in the the white
- 24:09Speaker 1: wrapper box underbelly. I feel like everybody in that box
- 24:13Speaker 1: knows I don't belong in that box like them in
- 24:16Speaker 1: there now, but like I be real, like everybody in
- 24:19Speaker 1: that box, at some point or another has acknowledged that
- 24:22Speaker 1: I'm meant to be bigger than that box, you know,
- 24:25Speaker 1: like all my homies and that, you know, I fuck
- 24:27Speaker 1: with everybody in that land. But I don't know. I mean,
- 24:29Speaker 1: the bird man, I feel like Jelly Rope broke through
- 24:31Speaker 1: the box, broke the box open, He broke the box open.
- 24:35Speaker 1: I think, I mean, I tried to do my fucking
- 24:38Speaker 1: hardest to just not be associated with the whole like
- 24:41Speaker 1: that scene, But I don't know. It's like the Wolf
- 24:45Speaker 1: thing kind of like put me in the dialogue because
- 24:47Speaker 1: Wolf's like the goat of that scene. But every but
- 24:50Speaker 1: there's a lot of people like Underwolf that are just
- 24:53Speaker 1: coow and just very much. So I feel like Wolf
- 24:57Speaker 1: is done for the for white rappers as well as
- 25:00Speaker 1: really branched out, you know what I mean. So it's
- 25:02Speaker 1: dope and he's he's brought you up. Yeah, Like, I'm
- 25:05Speaker 1: glad if anybody co signed me it was Wolf because
- 25:07Speaker 1: he understands respects the culture as honored the culture. Like
- 25:11Speaker 1: you know, I hate the rest of that scene to
- 25:14Speaker 1: be real. Yeah, I'm gonna lie like a lot of
- 25:17Speaker 1: that ship is cringy as fuck. Man. I'm just like,
- 25:22Speaker 1: I can't they just hit me up to have I
- 25:25Speaker 1: don't know, some fucking dude on some country ass rapper,
- 25:29Speaker 1: what's his name up Church or something. I was like,
- 25:32Speaker 1: it's a hard pass for me, you know, It's no,
- 25:36Speaker 1: I don't got any anything personal say about up Church
- 25:38Speaker 1: because he has seems like a nice guy. It seems
- 25:40Speaker 1: like a dope dude. I just can't have no maga
- 25:42Speaker 1: rappers on my shot. I just I don't like any
- 25:44Speaker 1: of the blurred lines between Like I don't know, like
- 25:48Speaker 1: they're ripping up Black Lives matter is crazy, Like that's
- 25:52Speaker 1: wild to me. It's like that dude who I fucking
- 25:55Speaker 1: when I was living in Tampa, that fucking weeny motherfucker
- 25:59Speaker 1: who you were talking ship to, the fat guy, the
- 26:03Speaker 1: real fat, ugly dude with the tattoos. I fucking hate
- 26:11Speaker 1: this scene. Bro like none of blue hair, and uh,
- 26:18Speaker 1: he's from Saint Pete, but nobody in Tampa fucked with
- 26:20Speaker 1: him because he was like a goof. But I think
- 26:22Speaker 1: he came from like a rich family or something. I
- 26:24Speaker 1: don't know. But then all of a sudden, he's like
- 26:29Speaker 1: a Trump rapper. He's like a Trump rapper. Here's the thing.
- 26:32Speaker 1: The craziest I've watched a lot of white rappers and
- 26:35Speaker 1: just people in general. They like find this niche that's
- 26:38Speaker 1: going and then they sell out their whole brand for
- 26:41Speaker 1: this jiggin. Because it's like one thing. I'll take being
- 26:45Speaker 1: at the level that I'm at, because you know, some
- 26:46Speaker 1: of those guys do numbers now or they're doing a
- 26:48Speaker 1: million views. But I'll tell you what, I'll always take
- 26:51Speaker 1: being at a lesser level to keep my integrity high.
- 26:55Speaker 1: Like I don't have no desire to like hit certain
- 26:58Speaker 1: number of accolades or like, you know, I think I'm
- 27:00Speaker 1: one of the dopest artists out there, and like my
- 27:03Speaker 1: whole mission and pursuit though is just like on my
- 27:05Speaker 1: own artistic path. I'll never sell that short for some
- 27:08Speaker 1: trendy like thing. I don't know. I just watched all
- 27:11Speaker 1: these exactly. I watched all of them turn from like
- 27:15Speaker 1: street rappers to like Trump maga political like that shs man.
- 27:19Speaker 1: They're just taking advantage of that whole movement die hard
- 27:24Speaker 1: and is atrocious. It's like the worst music. I mean
- 27:28Speaker 1: to me, all that's just trash. So it's annoying that
- 27:30Speaker 1: I even get like brought into you. I got all
- 27:32Speaker 1: these youtubel could you be with those guys? I didn't
- 27:35Speaker 1: you put it? But you put it this record out?
- 27:37Speaker 1: Which one? Didn't you put it? This record? Which one?
- 27:40Speaker 1: Which one? Where you know? What what are you talking about?
- 27:44Speaker 1: I got time to that. Yes, hold up now, that
- 27:46Speaker 1: wasn't to get me in the dialogue of the white
- 27:49Speaker 1: rapper ship. That was because this bitch ass motherfucker made
- 27:53Speaker 1: another record about that. I just was proving that was
- 27:56Speaker 1: like me being in the gym and just being like Hey,
- 27:58Speaker 1: let me show you that I'm way better than those
- 28:00Speaker 1: guys are like really bad at making music, so I
- 28:02Speaker 1: don't understand any of it. Honestly, the whole thing is
- 28:05Speaker 1: like I'm just like, it's just like cringe theater rap,
- 28:09Speaker 1: you know. It's like it's like rap that like you
- 28:11Speaker 1: have to watch. I call it theater rap because you
- 28:13Speaker 1: got to watch the video and listen to the fucking
- 28:16Speaker 1: ridiculous shit they say, and then you'll never listen to
- 28:19Speaker 1: the song. Shout out to the q A non rap subcategory.
- 28:22Speaker 1: Fuck all of y'all, please please disc me some more
- 28:25Speaker 1: so that I can be separated further from y'all's fan base.
- 28:29Speaker 1: I have no desire to be associated with y'all. I
- 28:31Speaker 1: don't want to make y'all's type of music. I think
- 28:33Speaker 1: all of y'all trash, and none of y'all could see
- 28:35Speaker 1: me on the mic. So let that y'all go repost that.
- 28:39Speaker 1: Put that up on YouTube. That goes for every one
- 28:41Speaker 1: of them fuckers that mentioned my name. That all all
- 28:44Speaker 1: they'll do is make YouTube blogs about me because not
- 28:47Speaker 1: one of them want to do what having a burden again?
- 28:49Speaker 1: So there we go. Uh, you got a tour coming
- 28:53Speaker 1: up in June fifty five dates, Me and Doobie fifty
- 28:58Speaker 1: five days, three months. It's a long tour. It's fucking long.
- 29:02Speaker 1: His wife on the tour with you. She's gonna be
- 29:04Speaker 1: coming to some of it. But three months is just
- 29:06Speaker 1: like ridiculously long. Is it the longest story you've ever done?
- 29:09Speaker 1: I've done, I've done like a closer. I think this
- 29:12Speaker 1: is probably the longest for Shure. I've done some long ones,
- 29:14Speaker 1: like sixty five dates or something like that, but it
- 29:17Speaker 1: was like back to back to back. So this one's
- 29:19Speaker 1: like spread out over three months, but it's a lot
- 29:21Speaker 1: of days. Like what is your like? Top five markets
- 29:24Speaker 1: like that that are like your brket Orlando that performed
- 29:28Speaker 1: for you. Orlando always the craziest, like any Florida market, Tampa, Orlando,
- 29:32Speaker 1: crazy in there, Denver, Love, Denver, Ohio, the whole state,
- 29:38Speaker 1: super dope, LA's dope, Salt Lake City, the Mormons fuck
- 29:43Speaker 1: with you, get down. A lot of the Midwest. The
- 29:46Speaker 1: Midwest is always crazy because you like, what the fuck
- 29:48Speaker 1: where we at Kansas and they'd be like five hundred
- 29:50Speaker 1: people there. Yeah, yeah, it'll be all over. What is
- 29:56Speaker 1: like for you? Like, uh, because I feel like you're
- 29:58Speaker 1: kind of uh have you when's the last time you
- 30:01Speaker 1: had that? The sixty sixth Day tour you were talking
- 30:03Speaker 1: about that was like, I mean pre pandemic. I feel
- 30:06Speaker 1: like you like are kind of a lot. You've grown
- 30:10Speaker 1: up a lot. Oh yeah, my tours swag is mad
- 30:13Speaker 1: different this time. Like i'd be up at six am
- 30:15Speaker 1: and yeah, I feel like you're like some adult shit now. Yeah,
- 30:18Speaker 1: I'm grown. Like I don't think I ever see you
- 30:20Speaker 1: like super fucked up or anything. I don't be doing that. Yeah,
- 30:23Speaker 1: I'm just like I'm trying to get a bag, bro,
- 30:25Speaker 1: I'm trying to like change my I realized, like I
- 30:28Speaker 1: think a big part of my career I was like
- 30:30Speaker 1: feeding into this like I'm a fucking rock star image,
- 30:33Speaker 1: you know, like we all kind of want to be
- 30:35Speaker 1: that as the star. And it's kind of like this
- 30:37Speaker 1: nostalgia of like I get fucked up, I don't have
- 30:40Speaker 1: responsibilities and like the older I get, I just want
- 30:43Speaker 1: to take care of my mom and my sister and
- 30:45Speaker 1: my nephew and shit. And I'm like, man, every time
- 30:48Speaker 1: I go out and get fucked up, I'm just lacking focus.
- 30:51Speaker 1: I'm missing out on the bag. I'd be setting myself,
- 30:53Speaker 1: I'd be like self sabotaging, getting two ways to Yo.
- 30:55Speaker 1: We got to stop the interview real quick to tell
- 30:57Speaker 1: you about our partners at odds Socks. Watch this. I
- 31:00Speaker 1: bet you I got odd socks on right fucking now.

- 31:22Speaker 1: mean these are kind of satanic. It just says demon.
- 31:26Speaker 1: They were like, let's just do a generic demon sock. Hmm.
- 31:31Speaker 1: I mean this is kind of like a I guess,
- 31:35Speaker 1: like if you were in the eighties in Miami doing
- 31:37Speaker 1: cocaine off of a strippers asshole jaws PEPSI. I mean,
- 31:40Speaker 1: listen breaking bad Nickelodeon and keep going. But what's most

- 32:01Speaker 1: the interview that we've already been inside up, but we're
- 32:04Speaker 1: gonna get back to it right now. Did you ever
- 32:06Speaker 1: have like a crazy drug era of life where you
- 32:08Speaker 1: were doing that for shure, like I've been, I've been.
- 32:10Speaker 1: I'm coming up in July, I'll be three years sober
- 32:13Speaker 1: off of hard drugs. What was like your go to
- 32:15Speaker 1: hard drug like Molly and coke, Molly and coke, Molly
- 32:18Speaker 1: coke and alcohol and like perks and shit like that.
- 32:22Speaker 1: But honestly, like I didn't feel like think I was
- 32:25Speaker 1: going that crazy, But it was like right when I
- 32:26Speaker 1: met my girls, She's like, what the fuck is your lifestyle?
- 32:29Speaker 1: And I was like really started looking at my lifestyle
- 32:31Speaker 1: and I'm like, damn, I be in the studio to
- 32:33Speaker 1: fucking three am off of Molly. I come out of
- 32:36Speaker 1: sleep too. Yeah, drinking every night, jesus. I think it
- 32:39Speaker 1: was a lot of drinking like that was probably the biggest.
- 32:41Speaker 1: So probably a good way, Like you know, with all
- 32:43Speaker 1: the fentonel s going on, a probably good time to Yeah,
- 32:45Speaker 1: I'm out peace. I lost a couple of three years
- 32:49Speaker 1: sober from hard drugs from yeah, all hard drugs. We
- 32:52Speaker 1: do not consider psilocybin hard drugs. Yeah, mushrooms. Well like, now,
- 32:58Speaker 1: like I've got the sober time under my belt, so
- 33:00Speaker 1: I'll go celebrate and drink some champagne or something like that.
- 33:02Speaker 1: Like I'm not trying to fucking busting down rails in
- 33:05Speaker 1: the bathroom. I'm cool, man, you know, trying to get
- 33:08Speaker 1: rich all the drug energy be like weirdo energy too.
- 33:12Speaker 1: The older I get them, I'd be like, y'all a
- 33:13Speaker 1: bunch of fucking weirdos. Bro, Like it just drugs make
- 33:17Speaker 1: you weird. Bro. The more time I've had being sober,
- 33:19Speaker 1: the more like, Man, I'm focused on my family, my health,
- 33:22Speaker 1: my music, shipping on MAGA rappers and bro, leave those
- 33:27Speaker 1: guys alone. I just beg. I've been on your He's like,
- 33:34Speaker 1: stop associating yourself with them. I'm like, I hate on
- 33:36Speaker 1: my mind this. Stop acknowledging them because they're gonna put
- 33:40Speaker 1: you in that Because I was like, they're gonna associate
- 33:42Speaker 1: you with that ship, even if you just just leave
- 33:44Speaker 1: them alone. But he racked up and we did it,
- 33:46Speaker 1: and like we made that song in thirty minutes ship
- 33:49Speaker 1: on his life video and then like all the other
- 33:51Speaker 1: ship like Calhoun and these fucking weirdos, they just made
- 33:54Speaker 1: blogs about me. They don't want to some super weediest
- 33:58Speaker 1: man and that dud's like fifty. I was, what's funny
- 34:01Speaker 1: is that I made a joke to my homies like
- 34:04Speaker 1: he won't want rap smoke, he'll go make a YouTube blog.
- 34:06Speaker 1: And that's what he did. And I was just like,
- 34:08Speaker 1: all right, I want just off of that. I don't
- 34:11Speaker 1: make vlogs about people like I don't like you. I'm
- 34:15Speaker 1: gonna just avoid. I'm over here there. Leave me the
- 34:19Speaker 1: fuck alone. They're over there, no part of them away.
- 34:23Speaker 1: Keep all that weirdo ship away from me. That's why, Like,
- 34:26Speaker 1: you know, because like my guys are like you Doobie Rits.
- 34:29Speaker 1: Sometimes you were like, we're like teetering. We're like teetering
- 34:32Speaker 1: because the interview it from the South. Well, we have
- 34:35Speaker 1: some overlapping fans because I'm from Florida. We're from the South. Right,
- 34:39Speaker 1: Jelly Rolls, my dog and I friends and there's people
- 34:41Speaker 1: that's like yeah, like I don't, Yeah, whoever want to
- 34:44Speaker 1: be friends with them? To me, I didn't do nothing wrong.
- 34:46Speaker 1: Like all those motherfuckers came at me because I said
- 34:48Speaker 1: we was the hardest and shady. But I feel like
- 34:50Speaker 1: everybody think they're the hardest, say they're the hardest, dude,
- 34:53Speaker 1: Like every one of those guys at some point talk
- 34:55Speaker 1: about how they're the bed. Like I thought all that
- 34:57Speaker 1: shit was corny. Like they tried to like start some
- 35:00Speaker 1: ship with me. That was all for the internet, you know,
- 35:03Speaker 1: because like if you really got an issue with somebody,
- 35:05Speaker 1: you're gonna talk to him. You're gonna see him be
- 35:06Speaker 1: about some ship you don't make up, edit your fucking
- 35:09Speaker 1: vlog at your house, and spend an hour fucking edited
- 35:13Speaker 1: in this clips. You you got any features on the
- 35:16Speaker 1: on the new project Angel Hill? I got Angel Hill
- 35:20Speaker 1: introducing the world to your boy, Angel Hill. He's my
- 35:23Speaker 1: favorite one on the tape, Like I honestly, Wolf gave
- 35:25Speaker 1: me a ten out of ten fucking murder Verse that
- 35:28Speaker 1: we've been pocketing for as Yeah, that wrecking about the
- 35:31Speaker 1: break people's face. And then I got Dubi on there.
- 35:34Speaker 1: Shout out to the Dubes. Man, I'll keep my circle
- 35:36Speaker 1: tight there it is. Uh, So the album comes out
- 35:39Speaker 1: on Friday, and Adam, by the time this comes out,
- 35:43Speaker 1: of the al will be out. So because it's coming
- 35:44Speaker 1: on next week, what next week? Yeah, go get my ship, nobody,
- 35:49Speaker 1: go get the who's fucking are you gonna put another
- 35:52Speaker 1: one hundred dollars mixtape out? And get grab another hundred band?
- 35:55Speaker 1: Fucking right? Yeah? We not. We was talking about it,
- 35:59Speaker 1: but I was like, let's not do it once a year.
- 36:00Speaker 1: We'll do it like once every two years, every two
- 36:03Speaker 1: years because the year it feels like a cash grab,
- 36:05Speaker 1: even though I could do that, like I make enough
- 36:07Speaker 1: music for sure cash grab. It's a cash grab, but
- 36:09Speaker 1: you're an independent artist. To me, it's like the fact
- 36:12Speaker 1: you can say it's not cash grab is like saying
- 36:16Speaker 1: that it's for money and there's no value. To me.
- 36:18Speaker 1: It was like a really innovative way to get the
- 36:21Speaker 1: money we deserve as artists from the people that was
- 36:24Speaker 1: willing to spend that, and they got something really special.
- 36:26Speaker 1: So I felt like there wasn't like half ass songs. No,
- 36:28Speaker 1: we put we put hours in the well that feel
- 36:32Speaker 1: like it was worth it. Sold out, Did you bow
- 36:35Speaker 1: on you cheap bastard. Man. We could thousand and one man,
- 36:41Speaker 1: they was gone. Honestly, yeah, I just bought a house
- 36:44Speaker 1: so you know for the hundred sorry put it down
- 36:48Speaker 1: payment by uh anything else going on? Bro, Just honestly
- 36:53Speaker 1: music always, I'm like still trying to figure out what's
- 36:57Speaker 1: too much to drop and what's not enough. You know,
- 36:59Speaker 1: you kind of put a fire into my ass last
- 37:01Speaker 1: year when I was like working on Jaws and I
- 37:03Speaker 1: was like kind of going ghosts from everything and just
- 37:06Speaker 1: working on Jaws, and you were like, don't fucking do that.
- 37:09Speaker 1: Put your foot on their neck and drop you got
- 37:11Speaker 1: to I dropped ten videos this year already, so I'm
- 37:14Speaker 1: on It said that to me, and I was like,
- 37:16Speaker 1: Kav is fucking right, Let's flood him. So we about
- 37:19Speaker 1: to drop like four albums because I feel like when
- 37:21Speaker 1: you have like the attention, man, you can't take advantage
- 37:23Speaker 1: of that. I feel like that's low key. Where do
- 37:26Speaker 1: be kind of fucked up a little? Just do be
- 37:29Speaker 1: kind of No. No, he makes timeless music, but he
- 37:31Speaker 1: chilled out for like his bounce back. Bro. Watchun He's
- 37:35Speaker 1: gonna be fine. You guys are about tour. I just
- 37:37Speaker 1: mean like he just kind of like disappeared for like,
- 37:41Speaker 1: you know, I'm gonna be I'm gonna be honest though
- 37:43Speaker 1: I like envy artists like Doobie or like certain artists
- 37:46Speaker 1: that I could think of that have a really big
- 37:48Speaker 1: loyal fan base and they've only dropped like two projects
- 37:51Speaker 1: because I'm the opposite, you know, I'm like twelve twelve
- 37:54Speaker 1: When I look at it is everybody independent. The more
- 37:57Speaker 1: pieces to your catalog you add, the more your residual
- 37:59Speaker 1: bag is every month, my bad go up every drop.
- 38:02Speaker 1: So's keep driving to this shut up there, we'll go
- 38:06Speaker 1: get the album. It's out right now. Nobody's out tasty.
- 38:09Speaker 1: Have my fucking guy in the Angel hell on my album,
- 38:13Speaker 1: Absolute Savage, my boy Tasty. Bee's the best out in
- 38:16Speaker 1: the kitchen. Can we get some studio time? What's up
