METS POSTCAST: Behind Manaea's MASTERCLASS, Mets BLOW OUT Pirates In Series Finale
What a day for the New York Mets. Sean Manaea was brilliant, as were the bats in an 11-1 blowout win against the Pittsburgh Pirates.
It might be fair to say that the old Manaea is back. 11 strikeouts over 7 innings of one-run ball reminded us all of what Manaea was in that 2024 season for this Mets team.
He got a ton of help from the bats, who didn't sulk from getting shutout on Saturday as they got to Jared Jones early and score 9 runs in the first four innings.
The win moved the Mets to 5-1 on this road trip, as they will now hit Atlanta hoping to continue playing spoiler.
