- 0:19Hello and welcome to episode 261 of the All Systems Go Sports
- 0:25Betting podcast powered by Rhythm.
- 0:28I'm your host Josh Applebaum. What's going on everyone?
- 0:36Happy Monday, a new week begins and we got a lot to get to today
- 0:41guys getting right back into the sports betting arena.
- 0:44I do have a four pack of sweats for you today.
- 0:46I know it's a smaller than usual Major League Baseball slate, but
- 0:49I did find 3 bets that caught my eye with good sharp line moves
- 0:53and a ton of good bet splits and system matches.
- 0:56Also some good sharp mush edges from our friends at Juice Real.
- 0:59And then also going to get right back to the NBA playoffs because
- 1:02there is one game tonight where I said you know what, we got a
- 1:05really good rhythm edge. A rhythm is telling us one thing
- 1:08with the total and we have about a 2 or even 3 point edge based
- 1:12upon what the odds makers are offering versus what rhythm is
- 1:16predicting. So a four pack overall guys,
- 1:18three MLB, one NBA. Let's at least try to go 2 and
- 1:21two for you. Go three and one.
- 1:22That would be even better. Now before we dive into
- 1:25tonight's sweats, how was your weekend?
- 1:27Hope everyone had a great Passover weekend, an Easter
- 1:30weekend, of course. And you know what it got a got
- 1:33to be a pretty good weekend for me because if you had followed
- 1:37the V Syn sharp reports that I write every single day, no days
- 1:40off or if you are able to follow the all systems go best bet
- 1:44picks which every single one is posted officially on the Juice
- 1:48Reel app. You know, at the end of the pod,
- 1:49I always tell you, if you like the pod, you value the insights,
- 1:52you know what you can do. I'm going to hold out a tip jar
- 1:55and you can put $4.99 a week in that tip jar by signing up to
- 1:58get those plays officially on the Juice Reel app.
- 2:01So you can find on the Juice Reel app bottom right corner
- 2:04under buy sell. You can search ASG under score
- 2:07podcast or you can just click the link that I put out every
- 2:10single day for my Twitter profile at Josh under score
- 2:12insights because if you had played some of those, you know
- 2:16those those best bet picks on the juicer lap or the sharp
- 2:20reports that are right again, every day for vsend.com over the
- 2:23weekend. Of course, not not too bad six
- 2:26and O this weekend. You combine that with Friday,
- 2:283:00 and 1:00. So we're off to a nine and one
- 2:31at a last out of our last 10-12 and one out of our last 13.
- 2:35Remember Friday we got that Dallas, Memphis over 221 also
- 2:39got the Astros and the Yankees. Saturday, 3 and O.
- 2:42If you played the Cubbies, the Giants and the Rangers with an
- 2:44epic walk off. They are down three to two in
- 2:47the ninth and got to Kirby Yates, Adolos Garcia hit a walk
- 2:50off Homer. I know my guy King Nebuchad.
- 2:52Nets are like that one and then another three and O on Sunday
- 2:55with the Dodgers, the Brewers and the Yankees.
- 2:57So don't let don't let the boys get hot.
- 2:59That's all I'm going to say. But This is why you got to
- 3:02continue to grind and never give up sports betting because you
- 3:05know you can be ice cold. Nothing can go your way.
- 3:06You can be red hot where everything goes your way.
- 3:09Betting is always difficult. We're never as hot as we think
- 3:11when we're cashing at a high rate, we're never as bad as we
- 3:13think when we're struggling. We're always somewhere in the
- 3:15middle. But again, you got to keep keep
- 3:18grinding keep sticking with it, and it's always nice when you
- 3:20can run off a little bit of a hot streak.
- 3:22So today's challenge is to try to stay hot.
- 3:25So that being said, I want to start off with some NBA
- 3:28postseason action and I want to go to the first game tonight,
- 3:317:30 PM Eastern Time. We got the Pistons and the New
- 3:35York Knicks. So this is game two of the first
- 3:38round Eastern Conference playoffs.
- 3:40We did see the Knicks post to win 123 to 112 in the opener.
- 3:44Now in terms of the side, we did see the sign move a little bit
- 3:46to the Knicks -6 snap up to -7 but I'm going to focus on the
- 3:50total here. This is where we have a pretty
- 3:52good rhythm edge in favor of the over.
- 3:55So looking at this game, we had the total open around 221 1/2,
- 4:00even 222 at some shops and I noticed earlier today it got
- 4:03back down to 220 1/2. So my first inclination was to
- 4:07respect the line move. I think you always got to do
- 4:09that. Whether you agree or disagree,
- 4:11you got to respect that. The odds makers took in some
- 4:14sharp money and that caused them to adjust the number.
- 4:16So it looked like early on there was some under money that showed
- 4:19up again, dropping the Pistons Knicks total two 22221 1/2 down
- 4:23to 220 1/2. But then when it got down to 220
- 4:261/2, I started to see creep back up, which told me that I think
- 4:31and again, I could be wrong, but I think that 220 and half is
- 4:34your low watermark as we're starting to see this thing get
- 4:36back up to around two 21221 1/2. So I pounced on the over 220 1/2
- 4:43and you should still get it. I hope I can, you know, get the
- 4:46pod, you know, produced and out to you quick and offer.
- 4:48Maybe you just follow the best bet on the juicer lap.
- 4:51But 220 1/2 is still available at DraftKings right now.
- 4:54But again, I don't know how long it's going to last.
- 4:56And you do see some books creeping back up.
- 4:58But this is what I like about the over 220 1/2.
- 5:01The first thing that I like is our rhythm system matches.
- 5:05Now, I always tell you with rhythm, the first thing that I
- 5:07look for is that #1 all of my recommendations are on the same
- 5:11side. And then #2 that they're all in
- 5:13green, an official Green Star recommended play.
- 5:16So for this over again, I hope you can get 220 1/2.
- 5:19If not, you know, 221 or 221 1/2.
- 5:22But all three are on the same side.
- 5:24All three are Green Star recommended.
- 5:26All three are on the OVA. So I have one model that's
- 5:30222.1. I have one model that's 221.8.
- 5:34I have another model that's 222.5.
- 5:37So we can round it to basically 222 again, over 220 NAF.
- 5:41That's a 1 1/2 point edge, 221 half half point edge.
- 5:45Obviously we're going to need 222 or more if you weren't able
- 5:48to get the 220 NAF. But it was notable to me that
- 5:50all three where Green Star recommended, none were on the
- 5:54under. All were on the over.
- 5:56If we dig a little deeper, Detroit #7 in the NBA in terms
- 5:59of pace. So they're quick get up and on
- 6:01the court, more possessions, more opportunities to score.
- 6:04Both teams are top 15 offensive efficiency.
- 6:08Knicks are #5 Detroit is 15 again.
- 6:11Game one, we did see 235 points. If you look at the regular
- 6:15season, though, I don't think that Game 1 was an aberration.
- 6:18Listen to these combined totals throughout the regular season 4
- 6:21matchups between Detroit and New York.
- 6:22We had a 226-230-1243 and 2:21. So that averages to about
- 6:29232.75. So hopefully you cash that over.
- 6:34Did notice Detroit slight over team 41 and 39 to the over
- 6:3851.3%, but when Detroit's on the road, 21 and 18 to the over 54%,
- 6:44the Knicks 42 and 40 to the over again, slightly over team 51.2%,
- 6:50but when the Knicks are at home, 22 and 1954%.
- 6:54So nothing amazing here. It's not like these are the top
- 6:56one and two over teams in the NBA, but there are slight over
- 6:59teams. I would also kind of, you know,
- 7:01bank on the fact a little bit. I know this line is kind of
- 7:03getting a little high, 6 1/2 up to seven, but you know, seven,
- 7:08I'm not going to call it a short spread, but it's also not a 10
- 7:10or a 12 point spread. So do we get a bit of a
- 7:12competitive game, little back and forth?
- 7:15Can we get some scoring? I also kind of like the fact
- 7:17that if you saw the games from yesterday, I believe the unders
- 7:22went three and one. So maybe the public says, oh,
- 7:25unders are three and one, let's just ride the unders.
- 7:28So maybe they're thinking of playing this under yet we're
- 7:30starting to see this line fall and then tick back up.
- 7:33But what really sold me with this one is 1, hopefully being
- 7:36able to bottom, bottom low watermark the 220 1/2 over.
- 7:40But really those rhythm system edges when I have 3 plays, all
- 7:43recommended, all green star, no conflicting plays on the
- 7:47opposite side. So no plays on the under.
- 7:50That gave me some confidence here to take this over.
- 7:52So I'm officially on Pistons Knicks over 220 1/2 again.
- 7:58Maybe you can only get a 221 now, but it I think it's still
- 8:01DraftKings 220 1/2. So try to jump on that number if
- 8:05you hopefully can get it. So give me the over 220 1/2
- 8:09Pistons Knicks. Now let's go to Major League
- 8:11Baseball today. Of course, if you didn't know,
- 8:13it is marathon Monday, which is a big celebration, big holiday.
- 8:18If you're like me and live in outskirts of Boston and New
- 8:20England, Of course you got the marathon.
- 8:22You got the early Red Sox game four to two winners, which was
- 8:25nice because I got that over 85 1/2 win total.
- 8:28They're down 1, nothing early, so luckily they came back.
- 8:31But it for me in particular Marathon Monday.
- 8:33I don't know if you guys, if I ever mentioned this to you, but
- 8:36when I got out of college, I graduated in 2009 from UVM,
- 8:39University of Vermont, go Cats, go.
- 8:42And I had a English degree in a history minor, but my
- 8:44concentration was sports journalism and my goal was to
- 8:48write for the Boston Globe or write for, you know, Sports
- 8:52Illustrated or work for the Red Sox or something like that.
- 8:56Obviously, 2009 was the Great Recession, couldn't find any
- 8:58jobs. So my first two years in Boston,
- 9:01my very first job when we moved there, me and a couple of my
- 9:03friends, we got an apartment in Brighton.
- 9:06We were snow shovelers, so it was pretty good.
- 9:08We got paid like I think it was like 25 bucks an hour, which is
- 9:11kind of a lot back then. But then after that, my first
- 9:14job was working at Jerry Remy's Sports Bar and Grill, which is
- 9:18basically right behind home plate at Fenway Pack and I was a
- 9:22server bar back busboy, you know, fill in bartender.
- 9:27I did it all. But I remember Marathon Monday
- 9:30was always the craziest day of the year, like a good day at
- 9:33work. You know, you can make hundred
- 9:35200 bucks marathon Monday. I worked there two years.
- 9:37I think I got like 506 hundred bucks that day just because
- 9:40people show up at like 6:00 AM the pregame and it's a very
- 9:44festive awesome day. So I I like my paychecks that
- 9:47day, but I'm I'm getting old now I'm 37 and I'm glad I work in
- 9:54the sports betting industry because I was hard work, but it
- 9:56was kind of kind of fun at the time anyway, not that you guys
- 9:59care about my back story, but with that being said, smaller
- 10:02than usual slate eight games overall, I found three games
- 10:06that had some good sharp steam, good system matches and good bet
- 10:11splits. So let's go through them one by
- 10:13one First one here. 6:40 PM Eastern Time Padres at the
- 10:17tigers. So set the stage talk line
- 10:20movement. I'll give you my play for this
- 10:21one. Padres, the father's the dads.
- 10:24They come in 16 and 6 did however, just drop 2 out of
- 10:27three against the Stroh's. Avoided the sweep though.
- 10:29Sunday night baseball they won three to two last night as a
- 10:32plus one O 5 Rd. dog. Meanwhile, the Tigers 13 and 9
- 10:35on the year, just took three of four from the Royals.
- 10:38Couldn't get the sweep though. They lost four to three in
- 10:40extras yesterday as a big -220 home favorite.
- 10:44So pitching matchup for tonight, we got the pods going with the
- 10:46righty Randy Vasquez one in one 1.75 ERA.
- 10:51And if we look at the Tigers, they're going to go with fellow
- 10:53ready Kyder Montero O and 1 ERA of nine.
- 10:57So what are we seeing across the market here?
- 10:59Well this game open Tigers around a -, 130 home favorite
- 11:03San Diego around a + 115 Rd. dog and the public is thinking.
- 11:07The wrong team is favored. Yeah, the pods are getting plus
- 11:10115 to 16 and 6:00. You got to take San Diego.
- 11:14I don't know. What kind of accent I was doing
- 11:15there anyway? Publix on the Padres.
- 11:19They're getting upwards of nearly 60% of bets, but the line
- 11:23ain't falling toward to pick them.
- 11:25The line has gone further toward Detroit.
- 11:27Detroit -130 now up to -140 I got Detroit at -142 I still
- 11:33think that's your best number, but some books are creeping
- 11:35toward -145. But this is a classic fade.
- 11:39The trendy dog public San Diego Lions going to Detroit.
- 11:43If we look at the bet splits here, only about 40% of tickets,
- 11:47but more than half the money is on Detroit at DraftKings.
- 11:50So good bet split. Then we got a lot of system
- 11:53matches on Detroit. Favorites off a loss. 90 and
- 11:564567% this year, 13% ROI. Home favorites off a loss 56 and
- 12:022569 percent, 17% ROI. Interleague Home favorites 48
- 12:08and 2566 percent, 12% ROI. Monday Home favorites with steam
- 12:13$0.10 or more, Seven and two this year, 43 and 1772 percent,
- 12:1810% ROI. Since 2024, Home favorites of
- 12:21the winning record 73 and 2773 percent, 18% ROI.
- 12:27So on my odds page, I actually have 13 system matches on
- 12:30Detroit. Tigers also have correlative
- 12:32betting favorite low total total.
- 12:35This one is 8, although it looks like it may be getting up to 8
- 12:371/2. So technically you would lose
- 12:39the correlative favorite low total, but you still have the
- 12:43interleague, lack of familiarity system and all the other ones
- 12:46you mentioned on Detroit. Detroit is 8 and two at home
- 12:49this year. San Diego is just four and five
- 12:51on the road now. I'm going to give Detroit a
- 12:53little bit of a sneaky schedule advantage because Detroit just
- 12:57played A4 game series at home, played an afternoon game
- 13:00yesterday. So, you know, they got a lot of
- 13:02rest and slept in their own beds.
- 13:05San Diego played last night, late Sunday night baseball, then
- 13:09had to travel to Detroit. So there's a wise guy system
- 13:12where you always like to if you can help it, as long as there's
- 13:14not conflicting smart money on the other side.
- 13:17But really fade the team that played on Sunday night Baseball.
- 13:20It's just you're up late, you got to travel.
- 13:22It's a tough turn around. Also, Luis Arise, good hitter
- 13:26for San Diego member. I don't know if you notice he
- 13:28collided at first. He believed he had to go to the
- 13:31hospital. I think he's OK, but he's a good
- 13:33hitter who will not play tonight for San Diego.
- 13:36Lastly, nothing crazy but a 4% sharp mush edge in the juicer
- 13:40lap on Detroit. So 4% more of the sharper
- 13:44winning betters are on Detroit as opposed to the losing betters
- 13:48who are leaning more toward San Diego.
- 13:50But Publix on San Diego. However, the lines going to
- 13:53Detroit, we got a lot of system matches.
- 13:55I got the Tigers here, guys, give me Detroit.
- 13:58I got a -, 142 at FanDuel. Next one for you, Philly in the
- 14:03New York Mets, 7:10 PM Eastern Time, first pitch, big matchup
- 14:07in the NL East. So let's set the stage of this
- 14:09one. The Phills come in 13 and 9 on
- 14:12the year. Took two or three against the
- 14:13Marlins. Didn't get the sweep, though.
- 14:15Yesterday they lost seven to five in extra innings.
- 14:18They're actually a -, 300 favorite in that one and lost.
- 14:22On the other hand, the Mets 15 and seven just swept the
- 14:24Cardinals. They won 7 to 4 yesterday as a
- 14:27-, 130 -, 135 home favorite. So pitching match up here
- 14:32tonight in the Big Apple. We got Aaron Nola O and four
- 14:356.65 ERA going for the Phils. Mets send out Tyler Miguel two
- 14:40and two, 1.4 O ERA. So what do we see across the
- 14:43market? Well, this game opened some
- 14:46shops open as low as a pick em like -110 both sides, but a lot
- 14:49of others open slight Mets favorite -115 Philly around a
- 14:53plus one O 5 Rd. dog and the sharps are saying give me the
- 14:57Mets. So that's where I'm going.
- 14:58Give me the Mets here guys. They open -110 -, 115.
- 15:02They've now been bet up to -120 -, 125.
- 15:05I jumped on the Mets -120 a little bit earlier today, but I
- 15:09like the splits on the Mets at DraftKings.
- 15:11Publix basically 5050 doesn't know where to go, but yet we're
- 15:15seeing a line move toward the Mets.
- 15:17But out in Vegas at circa 81% bets, 93% money is on the Mets.
- 15:23So big heavy split wise guy discrepancy out in the desert in
- 15:26favor of the Mets. Now I may not rattle all these
- 15:29system matches off, but I'll just tell you I have 9 system
- 15:32matches on the Mets. A lot of the similar ones to
- 15:35that Detroit game, but we have Monday.
- 15:37Home favorites of the line move 12 and four this year. 67% since
- 15:412024. Favorites of the line move in
- 15:43general 144 and 7666 percent 8% ROI Favorite who made the
- 15:49playoffs the previous year 65 percent 6% ROI.
- 15:53Home favorites of the winning record 73 percent 18% ROI.
- 15:58Home favorites in general 67 percent 10% ROI.
- 16:01So a lot of matches here on the Mets, Mets do have that
- 16:05correlative betting favorite low total total.
- 16:07This one is 8 little juice to the under.
- 16:09So if your amount of expected run score more likely never
- 16:12guarantee, but hopefully will be an advantage to the Mets here
- 16:15tonight. Mets also have been great at
- 16:18home, nine and one at home this year.
- 16:20Philly's just four and five on the road.
- 16:22Hopefully the Mets get to NOLA. If not, and we got to sweat this
- 16:25thing, which feel like we always got to sweat these games.
- 16:29But New York has a big advantage out of the bullpen ERA of 2.27.
- 16:33That's third best in baseball versus 5.81 for the the Phills.
- 16:39That's actually second worst in baseball and little cherry on
- 16:43top. Our friends at Juice Reel,
- 16:44pretty big sharp mush edge on the Mets, 19% sharp mush edge on
- 16:49the Mets. So we got a kind of a pick em
- 16:52short favorite for the Mets opener.
- 16:54Steam to the Mets. Lot of system matches good at
- 16:57home, better bullpen. Let's hopefully we can hope we
- 17:00can get to NOLA here. I laid it with New York.
- 17:03I got him at -120 again, some shops, little closer to -125
- 17:07now. Last bed of the night in
- 17:10baseball. Saint Louis Cardinals, Atlanta
- 17:12Braves, 7:15 PM Eastern Time, first pitch.
- 17:16So set the stage here. Cardinals 9 and 13 on the year.
- 17:20Just got swept by the Mets. As we just mentioned.
- 17:23Lost 7 to 4 yesterday as a + 125 Rd. dog.
- 17:26Meanwhile, the Bravos, after a really terrible start, starting
- 17:30to claw their way back. 8 and 13 on the year.
- 17:34They won six to two yesterday, swept the Mets -115 home
- 17:37favorite, and they are going to get Ronald Lacuna Junior back
- 17:40soon. So hopefully the I don't know, I
- 17:43actually should look at the adjusted win total for the
- 17:45Braves. Maybe they start to get hot
- 17:46here. But anyway, this game opened
- 17:49Atlanta a pretty hefty favorite around -175 Saint Louis plus 150
- 17:54on the road. And it's notable to me that the
- 17:57sharps are not scared off by this big number.
- 17:59Sharps have hammered Atlanta. Atlanta went from -175 up to
- 18:03-190 I'm seeing some shops now close to -200 I jumped on
- 18:08Atlanta at -190 I believe your best price might be -196 at
- 18:13FanDuel. Now, of course, I really don't
- 18:15like to go above -200 This is about as high as I'll go in
- 18:18baseball because again, you risk a unit, you're only getting a
- 18:21half unit back on a -, 200. But I got -190 So you get a
- 18:25little bit better on the buyback.
- 18:27But a couple other things to like about Atlanta at Circa 75%
- 18:32bets, 99% money heavy heavy betting on the Braves.
- 18:37I forgot to mention I totally skipped the pitching match up.
- 18:39Cardinals are going to go with the ready Eric Fetty one and two
- 18:423.43 ERA. Braves Spencer Schwellenbach,
- 18:46one and one 2.55 ERA. Lot of matches on Atlanta sit
- 18:51very similar ones to the Mets in Detroit.
- 18:53Actually have 10 system matches on Atlanta.
- 18:56Home favorites. Favorites with the line move in
- 18:58their favor. Non division favorites with
- 19:00steam $0.10 or more. Favorites who made the playoffs
- 19:02the previous year Monday. Home favorite with steam
- 19:05favorites -150 or more 69 percent 5% ROI.
- 19:10Braves also have some additional value as the quote UN quote non
- 19:14divisional favorite. Lack of familiarity benefiting
- 19:16hopefully the better team. Braves even though the records
- 19:20kind of bad again. They are playing better now, but
- 19:22they are 6 and two at home. Cardinals are only 1 and 9 on
- 19:25the road. Braves have the better bullpen,
- 19:273.73 versus 4.64 ERA for the Cardinals.
- 19:32And lastly, the Braves, they're hitting 293 at home this year.
- 19:35That's the best #1 the best batting average for home teams
- 19:39this season. Cardinals, meanwhile, only
- 19:41hitting 220 on the road. That ranks 15th.
- 19:44So it's a, it's a bit of an expensive price.
- 19:47Shop around. Try to get as close to -190 as
- 19:49you can. But I did get -190 on the
- 19:51Braves, So I'll be sweating the bravos here tonight at -190 So
- 19:56Braves, Mets and the Tigers, let's try to get two out of
- 19:59three or more. That is the goal.
- 20:02So that about does it for episode 261 of the All Systems
- 20:06Go Sports Betting podcast. Powered by Rhythm, as always.
- 20:10But this is the part of the pod where we wrap things up.
- 20:12And as always, I start first by saying thank you.
- 20:15Thank you for taking the time out of your day, out of your
- 20:17busy lives, to pull up a chair to the virtual bar and sweat
- 20:21some sharp data-driven breakdowns with me.
- 20:23Win, lose or draw, I hope you value the insights.
- 20:25Obviously, I want to win every play we talked about.
- 20:28That's unrealistic. Betting is hard.
- 20:30There's hot and cold stretches. But if you do enjoy this pod,
- 20:34could you take a second or two and give it a five star review
- 20:37on Spotify or iTunes? Would go a long way to helping
- 20:40us to continue to grow the podcast.
- 20:42If there's a opportunity to leave a review and a nice
- 20:45comment, hey, I'll take it. If there's a button you can
- 20:48click that says follow that we get alerted as soon as it drops
- 20:51each day, you'll probably get a pop up or a notification on your
- 20:54phone. That'll be great as well.
- 20:56If you want to recommend the pod to a friend.
- 20:59Word of mouth is also, I think the best way to recommend
- 21:01something next, if you enjoy this style of betting breakdown,
- 21:06data-driven, sharp, contrarian betting.
- 21:08We're betting games not because of our bias or favoritism.
- 21:11We're human. We have those bias and
- 21:13favoritisms, but we try to keep them at the door and bet based
- 21:17on what the numbers and the money is telling us and how the
- 21:20market is moving and our system matches, of course.
- 21:23But if you want to learn more about data-driven betting or you
- 21:26know you want to let me know you appreciate the pod.
- 21:28You know what you should do. You should go to Amazon.com and
- 21:31type in the everything guide to sports betting.
- 21:34It's the first book I ever wrote.
- 21:35I'm very proud of it, but it's got everything I've learned in
- 21:38the industry. It's great for new betters.
- 21:40If you are brand new to betting or relatively new and you don't
- 21:43really know how the game works or have a blueprint how to how
- 21:46to pick games, or maybe you have a friend or colleague or someone
- 21:49in your life who's in a newly legalized state.
- 21:52If any of that is the case or you just want to, you know,
- 21:55again, make me happy and pick up a copy, I would really very much
- 21:58appreciate it. It's got everything I've learned
- 22:00in the industry, how lines are set, how and why they move, how
- 22:03to read line movement, how to locate sharp action, how to
- 22:06place a bet in person or online, how to shop for the best line,
- 22:09how to set up a bankroll management plan.
- 22:11It's all included in the Everything Guide to Sports
- 22:13betting. Now, while you're at it and
- 22:15picking up a copy of the everything Guide to Sports
- 22:17betting, I think it's only like 15 bucks.
- 22:20You know, you should also do you should stay on Amazon and then
- 22:23type in the NFL sharp betting playbook.
- 22:27That's my new book. I actually just submitted over
- 22:30the weekend my final edits for the book.
- 22:33So it's actually going to go to the printing press soon here,
- 22:35but it's called the NFL sharp betting playbook.
- 22:38How to analyze the market, go contrarian and bet like a
- 22:40data-driven wise guy. So if you want to help me to
- 22:44continue to generate the buzz, I would love it if you wanted to
- 22:47order a pre sale copy of the book cost 24 bucks, you'll get
- 22:52it delivered as soon as it comes out on April 12th.
- 22:55But really my goal is to get as many pre sales as possible just
- 22:58to again make the publishers happy and hopefully have a good
- 23:01debut. If you want to order one and
- 23:04bring it to the book or bring the Everything Guide to sports
- 23:07betting to the sports book, you know what I'm going to do?
- 23:09I'm going to give you a nice, nice handshake and I'm going to
- 23:12sign them for you. I'm going to buy you a beer or
- 23:14ginger ale or we'll get some nachos and sweat some games
- 23:17together. But seriously, you've already
- 23:19bought 1. Thank you, I really, really
- 23:21appreciate it. Next, if you haven't done it
- 23:24yet, what are you waiting for? Go download Rhythm and Juice
- 23:26Reel, my two favorite sports betting apps.
- 23:28Rhythm for their AI backed models and predictions for game
- 23:31bets and player props. And then of course, Juice Reel,
- 23:34where you can get some fantastic arbitrage system matches and
- 23:39sharp mush indicators. You can follow the Robo Jackson
- 23:42best bet picks or again, if you want to make my day go sign up
- 23:45for those $4.99 a week best bets on the juice reel app.
- 23:50You can get those all systems go best bet picks and again it's
- 23:54like a tip jar. So if again, you you like the
- 23:56service tip, your bartender, your server, you like the pod go
- 23:59sign up for those best bets. So it's actually a 7 day free
- 24:01trial if you just want to test it out and see if you like it.
- 24:05But but that's juice reel and that's rhythm go download both
- 24:08and give them a five star review in the App Store.
- 24:11Lastly, if you're betting on sports, you know what you need
- 24:15you need a live odds page shows you every game on the board.
- 24:18All your first you got to know what can I bet on today.
- 24:20Live odds page will give you every game and every sport
- 24:23available to you. Then you got to know what the
- 24:25line opened at and how it's moved the the odds logic.
- 24:29Live odds page also will give you that opening line column.
- 24:32Next to it will be all the current numbers.
- 24:34You can also pull up the line history just by clicking the box
- 24:37that shows any odds on any game so you can look at all the moves
- 24:40in between. And most importantly, it gets
- 24:42the gives you the the opportunity to shop for the best
- 24:45price. So I was giving you some of
- 24:47these games earlier, but big one for me was that NBA game
- 24:51tonight. Again, I noticed most books were
- 24:53221 even 221 1/2. But then I saw DraftKings at 220
- 24:571/2 and I said, you know what, I want to play the over.
- 25:00That's my best price. So again, I hope the game sails
- 25:04over. But what if it lands on 2/21?
- 25:06Getting that over 220 1/2 will be will be worth it.
- 25:10I also like the fact that Odds Logic gives you pretty much
- 25:12every book to follow, but importantly they give you
- 25:15Pinnacle and Chris as well as Circa.
- 25:18So your market setting books your first to open when you see
- 25:21those move. You can pick off a slow moving
- 25:23copycat book that hasn't adjusted yet.
- 25:25So if you want to give it a shot I would highly recommend
- 25:29punching in this link. Odds logic.com/josh 123.
- 25:34That's odds logic.com/josh 123. You click that link again, make
- 25:40sure you have the slash Josh 123 at the end, but you will then
- 25:43get a 7 day free trial and 50% off your first month.
- 25:47And again, if you have any questions about, you know, odds
- 25:49logic, choose real rhythm. You want to, you know, order a
- 25:53copy of my book. You don't know how to access it.
- 25:56I'm always available on Twitter. You can always send me a direct
- 25:58message at Josh under score insights.
- 26:01But that about does it for today's pod on Marathon Monday
- 26:05against sun shining. Feels like it's spring, which is
- 26:07great, even though I'm depressed.
- 26:09No Boston Bruins playoffs, which is a rite of passage, but again,
- 26:13not this year. Bruins stunk.
- 26:15Anyway, I'm going to leave with a couple things, as I do at the
- 26:18end of every podcast. One, whether I see you at the
- 26:21Borgata in Atlantic City, Twin River in Rhode Island, the
- 26:24Brooklyn, New Hampshire, Foxwoods or Mohegan Sun down in
- 26:27Connecticut, at the Encore in Boston or Plain Ridge Park,
- 26:30Casino, REMGM, Springfield or the Nash in Nashua, NH, and my
- 26:34neck of the woods. Or, of course, out in the
- 26:36desert, where the true grinders get down, where Billy Walters
- 26:39sends his number runners, where the lowest juice possible is
- 26:42found at the South Point. Or sweat and sharp contrarian
- 26:44plays, jumping in the stadium swimming pool when they catch a
- 26:47big ticket at Circa. You're going to walk up to me.
- 26:50You're going to show me a nice little string of winners here
- 26:53from yesterday. Show me Dodgers, Brewers,
- 26:55Yankees. From Saturday, Show me Cubs,
- 26:57Rangers, Giants. From Friday.
- 26:58Show me that Mavs over the Astros, the Yankees.
- 27:02Guess what? First one's on me, next one's on
- 27:04you. We're going to post about the
- 27:05book Sweat shark and train plays all night long.
- 27:08So whether we're hot, whether we're cold, whether we're up,
- 27:11whether we're down, whether we're grinding and can't seem to
- 27:14have that winning night or whether it feels like betting is
- 27:17easy and you know we're getting winners left and right or ice
- 27:19cold. We can't get a winner or snake
- 27:21bit again the previous day, the previous couple days, if we're
- 27:25humid, if we're hot, we're excited, we're happy.
- 27:27We want to bet more on rice cold.
- 27:29We're mad, we're upset, we're embarrassed, feels like it's a
- 27:33paralysis by analysis. But guess what?
- 27:35We just got to try to stay even keeled.
- 27:37Staying even keeled is so important in a business where
- 27:40it's really difficult to continue to win each day.
- 27:43But with that being said, if we can stick to the model, stick to
- 27:46the blueprint against the public, with the house, with the
- 27:48pros, flat bet, avoid parlays, get that closing line value.
- 27:52If we can do that, but games with our head and not our heart,
- 27:55stay disciplined with our bankroll management, stick to
- 27:58the model, stick to the blueprint.
- 27:59If we can do that, and I'm confident that we can, then
- 28:02guess what we're going to be successful sports bettors.
- 28:04So have a fantastic Monday night, everybody.
- 28:07I'll see when we get some winners in baseball in the NBA.
- 28:11And then guess what, we'll be right back at it tomorrow for a
- 28:13big Tuesday edition. That'll be episode 262 of the
- 28:17All Systems Go Sports Betting podcast powered by Rhythm.
- 28:21Good luck everybody and have a great Monday night.
