Speaker 1: It's your early morning praise party. I am a Sherry Mackie.
• 0:03
Speaker 1: It is time right now for today's word.
• 0:06
Speaker 2: When Heaven is silent.
• 0:09
Speaker 1: When Heaven is silent, Matthew twenty seven forty six says,
• 0:14
Speaker 1: my God, My God, why have.
• 0:17
  Speaker 2: You forsaken me?
• 0:18
Speaker 1: Good Friday is one of the most powerful and sobering
• 0:22
Speaker 1: moments in our faith. It reminds us that even Jesus
• 0:26
Speaker 1: Christ experience what felt like silence from heaven as he
• 0:31
Speaker 1: hung on the cross. Jesus endured unimaginable pain. He was rejected,
• 0:35
Speaker 1: he was beaten, and he was mocked. The same crowd
• 0:38
Speaker 1: that once praised him had turned against him, and in
• 0:41
Speaker 1: that moment, he cried out, My God, My God, why
• 0:45
Speaker 1: have you forsaken me. It's a raw and honest expression,
• 0:51
Speaker 1: one that many of us can relate to, because if
• 0:54
Speaker 1: we're honest, there are moments in our own lives when
• 0:57
Speaker 1: heaven feels silent. You've prayed but the answer hadn't come.
• 1:02
Speaker 1: You believe, but nothing seems to be changing. You've trusted,
• 1:06
Speaker 1: but the situation still feels heavy. And in those moments,
• 1:10
Speaker 1: it's easy to wonder, God, where are you. Good Friday
• 1:15
Speaker 1: reminds us that silence does not mean absence. Just because
• 1:19
Speaker 1: God is quiet doesn't mean he's not working. From a
• 1:22
Speaker 1: human perspective, the Cross looked like defeat. It looked like
• 1:25
Speaker 1: everything had fallen apart.
• 1:27
Speaker 2: It looked like the end of the story.
• 1:29
Speaker 1: But one what no one could see was that God
• 1:34
Speaker 1: was accomplishing something so much greater than anyone could imagine.
• 1:38
Speaker 1: Behind the scenes, redoption was unfolding, Salvation was being secured,
• 1:45
Speaker 1: Victory was being prepared. What looked like the worst moment
• 1:49
Speaker 1: in history was actually the turning point for all of humanity.
• 1:53
Speaker 1: And see that same truth applies to your life today.
• 1:57
Speaker 1: There will be seasons when you don't understand what God
• 1:59
Speaker 1: is doing, and seasons when the answers don't come quickly,
• 2:02
Speaker 1: seasons when you have to walk by faith and not
• 2:05
  Speaker 1: by sight.
• 2:06
  Speaker 2: But you can.
• 2:07
Speaker 1: Trust this God is still at work. He's aligning things
• 2:11
Speaker 1: you cannot see, He's moving in ways you cannot track.
• 2:15
Speaker 1: He's preparing outcomes greater than you expect. Good Friday teaches
• 2:20
Speaker 1: us that what feels like an ending may actually be
• 2:24
Speaker 1: the beginning of something greater. So don't give up in
• 2:29
Speaker 1: the silence. Don't let unanswered prayers weaken your faith. Don't
• 2:33
Speaker 1: let delay convince you of denial. Instead, you hold on,
• 2:38
Speaker 1: You stay anchored, You keep trusting because Friday came. Oh,
• 2:42
Speaker 1: Sunday is coming. If Friday came, you can already be
• 2:47
Speaker 1: excited because Sunday is coming. Resurrection is on the way.
• 2:51
Speaker 2: Father. Even when we don't hear you, we choose to
• 2:54
  Speaker 2: trust You.
• 2:55
Speaker 1: And the moments when life feels uncertain, heaven feels silent, reminded,
• 3:00
Speaker 1: God that you're still working behind the scenes. Strengthen our
• 3:03
Speaker 1: faith God, so that we don't grow weary in the waiting.
• 3:06
  Speaker 2: God.
• 3:06
Speaker 1: We believe that what looks like defeat is not the end,
• 3:09
Speaker 1: and that you're bringing victory who in your perfect timing,
• 3:13
Speaker 1: in our lives, in Jesus' name.
• 3:15
Speaker 2: Now that's your word for today.
• 3:17
Speaker 1: I want you to take it applied to your everyday
• 3:20
Speaker 1: life and you continue to be encouraged and inspired.
• 3:23
Speaker 2: It is your early morning praise. Perdy. I am Sherry
