- 0:00Speaker 1: That was going on everybody as Romeo today. We got
- 0:02into a couple of things. You guys remember the hustleman guy.
- 0:05You guys remember the guy that had the hookup for everything.
- 0:08You needed a black box, maybe you needed some furniture.
- 0:10I don't know what you need to remember that guy.
- 0:12They don't have that guy anymore, the guy walking around
- 0:14the parking lot selling perfume.
- 0:16Speaker 2: Does that guy still exists?
- 0:17Speaker 1: We also talked a little bit about school since schools
- 0:19getting out, What was your best school memory?
- 0:21Speaker 2: Let's get going.
- 0:22Speaker 1: Talking about first date foods. A guy was talking about
- 0:26the fact that he went on a first date and
- 0:29the girl who went on a first date with ordered,
- 0:31you know, one of the most expensive things are the
- 0:33most expensive thing on the menu, and it kind of,
- 0:37you know, you kind of ask the question when you
- 0:39go on a date, especially a first date, does what
- 0:43the person orders?
- 0:45Speaker 2: Does it matter?
- 0:46Speaker 1: I mean he was asking the question does it matter?
- 0:49I mean, I don't know when you have you ever
- 0:51gone on a first date? And do you do you
- 0:53look at what somebody else orders? Or do you not care.
- 0:56Speaker 3: That?
- 0:57Speaker 1: Is there a red flag there? Or I don't know,
- 1:00Good morning? How what's going on?
- 1:01Speaker 4: Okay, So I feel like this, if a guy's gonna
- 1:04be talking crap about a woman and what she orders
- 1:07of her meal, like say she ordered a steak, he
- 1:09should invite her to go eat.
- 1:11Speaker 5: Period.
- 1:11Speaker 4: Then okay, okay, in a way it's good so he
- 1:16can know, like, hey, this bro, she's really expensive on
- 1:20you know, it's time to take her out to eat,
- 1:22you know. So in the way it's good so he
- 1:24can know, like, you know, she likes expensive meal. And
- 1:28if and if he's going to be talking crap about her,
- 1:30he should not even invite her to go eat and
- 1:32take her to stop books, fair enough, Okay, alright, alright, I.
- 1:41Speaker 1: Mean, look, there's arguments to be made on both sides. Okay,
- 1:47a guy shouldn't be a guy should understand what he's
- 1:51getting himself involved in with the type of woman that
- 1:53he's taken out, all right. He should know what her
- 1:56budget or how she lives. I mean, you should know
- 2:01the type of woman that you're taking out, right, whether
- 2:04she's a little higher end or whether she's a little
- 2:06lower end. But at the same time, if you flip it,
- 2:09if you flip it to the other side of it,
- 2:12should a woman be well see that's the thing if
- 2:16you see Yeah, I mean, should she be ordering the
- 2:21most expensive thing? Well, if she's used to it, then yes.
- 2:27If she's not used to it, then.
- 2:30Speaker 2: Is that the question? Or does it matter? Already?
- 2:34Speaker 1: Four two pot four or seven to seven? So a
- 2:36guy was texting. I guess he went out on the
- 2:38first day with a girl and he thought the meal
- 2:39shouder was very expensive. He didn't know, Uh, he didn't
- 2:44know what to think about that, And I guess it
- 2:46kind of goes both ways.
- 2:48Speaker 2: Is it a red flag? Yeah?
- 2:50Speaker 1: Maybe maybe unless she's used to that. I mean someone
- 2:54when are used to that already? Four two pot four
- 2:57or seven seven and uh, well a lot of guys
- 3:00will say, well, I'm is she just ordering the most
- 3:03expensive thing to take advantage or I mean, I don't know, Hey, Romeo.
- 3:09Related to the topic, is it a red flag that
- 3:13you that a male date a man orders a casadea
- 3:19for dinner, No meat, no hot sauce, plain old case adea.
- 3:24I felt like I was on a date with a child.
- 3:26You should have ordered the kids menu. Yes, that's weird. Yes,
- 3:34that's absolutely one hundred percent weird.
- 3:37Speaker 2: How old was the dude?
- 3:39Speaker 1: That's what I want to name, but yes, no, that
- 3:40is totally a red flag.
- 3:43Speaker 2: Absolutely.
- 3:47Speaker 6: So a guy.
- 3:48Speaker 2: Texted he was talking about what is a first date?
- 3:51What she ordered?
- 3:51Speaker 1: He thought it was too expensive? Most expensive thing, right,
- 3:56And it does beg a question because somebody else just
- 3:59said and says, she went out on a date with
- 4:01a man who just ordered a plain Casadia, no meat,
- 4:04no che or, no sauce, nouhe just a plain case
- 4:07of deal. Was asking me, oh, he was thirty seven
- 4:11years old. The dude that did that, Yeah, Casadia, no meat,
- 4:15no hot sauce, just a play in Casadia, thirty seven
- 4:18years old.
- 4:18Speaker 2: Is that a red flag?
- 4:19Speaker 1: I think it is, But it does kind of asked
- 4:24the question, right, what does it say about somebody on
- 4:29what they order on a first date? Does that say
- 4:32anything about a male or female what they eat on
- 4:36the first date?
- 4:37Speaker 2: Does that change? Uh? Can you read something into that?
- 4:42Speaker 1: I would definitely read something into a thirty seven year
- 4:45old dude ordering a playing case of DA on a
- 4:48first date. There's that's childlife, so that is uh, yeah.
- 4:53Speaker 2: I would read something into that.
- 4:54Speaker 1: A girl ordering steak and lobster on a first date,
- 4:58I don't know. It depends on who she is is right.
- 5:00She might be a she might be that kind of girl.
- 5:03You know, she might be a higher end you know,
- 5:06she's used to she's used to eating that. Or she
- 5:10might be someone who who doesn't get that very much.
- 5:12I mean, it just depends. You should know when you
- 5:15while with them, right already fourteen about four or seven seven?
- 5:18Hey Rome, them big girls? Do you cost a lot
- 5:22when it comes to food. That's why I stay with
- 5:25the cute petite girls. All excuse me, all they want
- 5:28is appetizer than Margarita's. Let me see what big boys
- 5:34sent me here. He's got something to say about this,
- 5:39Oh Rome, Oh, big boy says he wasn't talking crap,
- 5:42he was just asking. Sounds like he paid just probably
- 5:46damn first state. High maintenance, Well, it depends on what
- 5:50one girl's high maintenance or you know, one guy's high
- 5:53maintenance is one one another guy's norm. You know what
- 5:57I'm saying. Some women are high maintenance, cost a lot
- 5:59for so for other women, they don't call they that's
- 6:03their norm, you know, So yeah, already fourteen five four
- 6:08seven to seven? Uh, Hey, Rome, It's like when when
- 6:15you tell a girl, what what do you like to drink?
- 6:20Speaker 2: Or what do you usually drink?
- 6:21Speaker 1: And they say nineteen forty two or like the most
- 6:24expensive stuff and then they say, but what do you
- 6:27like to drink when you're paying for it?
- 6:31Speaker 7: All?
- 6:31Speaker 8: Right?
- 6:32Speaker 1: What did we got here in fortwo five for seven
- 6:37to seven?
- 6:38Speaker 2: Rome? Maybe the guy, oh, the casadilla guy. What did
- 6:43you say here?
- 6:45Speaker 1: Some girls said she went out with a thirty seven
- 6:47year old man who ordered a Kasadia. No, no me,
- 6:50no sauce, nothing, just playing casadia, which is weird by
- 6:54the way. Yes, hey, Rome, maybe that guy didn't have
- 6:58a lot of money and got something small do the girl.
- 7:03The girl could order what she Oh, so the girl
- 7:05could order what she wanted. Uh, maybe maybe what's going on?
- 7:11Speaker 3: Okay?
- 7:12Speaker 9: What's up?
- 7:12Speaker 3: Roman?
- 7:13Speaker 9: Seahawk Glue Man?
- 7:15Speaker 10: Hey, room, So I kind of I agree with what
- 7:19you're saying. Man, there's you know, there's some bougie women
- 7:22out there and some that are a little more ghetto.
- 7:27Speaker 1: Well some boo When you say bougies, that might be
- 7:32their normal.
- 7:33Speaker 2: It's not boogie. It's bougie to you, it's normal to them.
- 7:36Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 7:37Speaker 9: Yeah, well yeah, that's what I'm trying to say.
- 7:40Speaker 10: It could be bougie to you, but normal to them. Okay,
- 7:44you know, I agree with what you're saying. We also
- 7:48have the normal or you in the ghetto, the ones
- 7:52that like to drink you know.
- 7:53Speaker 8: But wiser every week.
- 7:55Speaker 2: Jesus with you.
- 7:57Speaker 10: But that's what they like, you know what I mean,
- 7:58there's nothing wrong.
- 7:59Speaker 2: With that, Okay, yeah, all right.
- 8:03Speaker 10: So I think they should look for, you know, someone
- 8:06who drinks bud.
- 8:06Speaker 1: Life but wisers, and if that's what they want, yeah.
- 8:10Speaker 10: That's what they gotta find. I guess they can't afford.
- 8:13Speaker 2: You can't afford gotta get out of here. I mean,
- 8:18there's uh.
- 8:20Speaker 1: I mean, obviously the terminology that Seahawk Lou was using,
- 8:24hopefully was for a fact. But yeah, I mean, if
- 8:29you can't afford it, you can't afford it. But there
- 8:31are some women out there, you know who Lobster and
- 8:35steak is a normal meal for them.
- 8:38Speaker 2: It's not. It's not something you know, it's not a
- 8:40special meal. So yeah, I don't know.
- 8:44Speaker 1: Already four for seven to seven, Hey, you up and
- 8:48cheese fan talking about dates. Me and my wife orders
- 8:51some pricey meals, the messed up thing. She only eats
- 8:54a little portion of it and the rest to go,
- 8:57and she doesn't eat after that, she throws it away.
- 9:01I mean it just pricy meal is a pricey meal.
- 9:04Some women's pricy meal is some women's extravaganza. So you
- 9:08got to understand that. You know now, the wrong with
- 9:11it interests is what it is. But there is something
- 9:13to be said about a first date. What somebody orders,
- 9:19right or maybe not? A good morn to Rome. On
- 9:23a side note, When I first started dating my wife,
- 9:27her teenage son which is fourteen, would order the most
- 9:30expensive item on the menu. When he would come over
- 9:34to my house, I would make him. I would make
- 9:37him mow the backyard. After the second time mowing my yard,
- 9:41he asked me how come he has he has to
- 9:44mow my backyard. I explained to him, if you're going
- 9:47to keep ordering expensive items on your menu or on
- 9:51the menu, this is the way of pain for that meal.
- 9:54After that, he stopped picking the most expensive items on
- 9:57the manual. Wow, that's pretty funny, hey, rom If that
- 10:07guy ordered a playing casadea that should tell the girl
- 10:10about how he is going to be boring and picky. Yeah,
- 10:17that's a good point. I mean that does says. Here's
- 10:22what's funny. Because we had two conversations going on a
- 10:25girl ordering the most expensive thing on the menu on
- 10:28a first date with a guy, and a guy, a
- 10:31thirty seven year old guy ordering a playing case adea
- 10:34on the first date with a girl with a woman. Right,
- 10:38so the Casadia says more about the guy than the
- 10:41woman who ordered.
- 10:42Speaker 2: The most expensive thing on the menu.
- 10:44Speaker 1: There, Yeah, I would think the guy that says more
- 10:46the guy. What kind of psycho are you to just
- 10:51order a playing case idea for dinner?
- 10:53Speaker 2: I mean, that's that's a little psychotic, all right.
- 10:57Speaker 1: You know one of the things I miss from back
- 10:59in the day was you remember you had them shady
- 11:03friends who always had something going on, always had a
- 11:06hustle going on. You guys probably don't remember Hustleman from
- 11:09the Martin Lawrence Show, where he always had he was
- 11:11always trying to sell you something, always trying to you know,
- 11:16get you involved, get you to spend your money, right
- 11:19already four two, four or seven. And I don't think
- 11:22they have those anymore. I mean I still have that friend. Okay,
- 11:27remember when the guy would show up. You probably don't
- 11:28remember this. Back before, when you had the bootleg cable,
- 11:31you had black boxes. There was always a guy you
- 11:34knew that sold black boxes. You could always find somebody
- 11:36in a parking lot selling stuff. You know, when I
- 11:38first moved to Bakersfield over on the east side, about
- 11:41every other month or every month or so, you'd get
- 11:44a semi truck just sitting right there off of not Fairfax,
- 11:49off of Mount Vernon, right across from the in that
- 11:51dirt parking lot. Oh it's not a dirt parking lot anymore,
- 11:53but that dirt parking lot they'd be selling stuff.
- 11:56Speaker 2: One time they were selling grandfather clocks. I mean it
- 11:58just it just man, that sucks.
- 12:01Speaker 1: Now you guys just go to team on TikTok or
- 12:04something stupid. You don't have that guy still hustling right
- 12:07or that shady friend. Now I have a friend and
- 12:11I love him to death. Oh my god, I would
- 12:13do anything for him.
- 12:14Speaker 2: This fool.
- 12:15Speaker 1: Every time I get together with him, he trying to
- 12:17get me into something. You know, last month we was
- 12:19gonna open a fishing charter. This month, we's gonna, Uh.
- 12:22Speaker 2: What did he have? He wanted me to cattle.
- 12:25Speaker 1: All I needed was ten grand and I was gonna
- 12:27be a cattle rancher and I was gonna This guy
- 12:30always got me into doing something we're gonna and it's
- 12:34usually it's usually only ever, ever, only gonna cost me
- 12:37about ten grand at a time. So apparently he's he
- 12:40has a he has a limit, you know, a price
- 12:42point ten grand, and he's always trying to get me
- 12:45into something. And it's, ah, it's funny. You guys got
- 12:52any friends like that?
- 12:53Speaker 2: I did.
- 12:53Speaker 1: Our shady friends still exist. I don't know already four two, five,
- 12:58four or seven. But you remember, you remember you remember
- 13:02when you can go get whatever you wanted at the
- 13:04parking lot, anything you needed. You need a bedroom furniture,
- 13:08you knew a guy in the parking lot that can
- 13:10get it for you. Nowadays you actually got to go
- 13:12to the store, all right, or no, he just ordered
- 13:14off team already? Four two, five, four, seven to seven.
- 13:18Do you guys have friends like that? Anybody in your
- 13:20life who's still trying to pull a hustle, pull a scam?
- 13:24Speaker 12: You're room?
- 13:24Speaker 8: What up talking about that? We lost a good friend
- 13:28of mine.
- 13:28Speaker 13: That's what we were just talking about yesterday.
- 13:30Speaker 7: That the cable.
- 13:32Speaker 8: Oh man, he was the best hook up. You had
- 13:34a cable, you know, back in the day. Yeah, you
- 13:36got a.
- 13:37Speaker 10: Good but then he had the broken box.
- 13:39Speaker 5: You know, we got the.
- 13:40Speaker 8: Box, break them, jail break them. Yeah yeah, then you
- 13:43jail break your phone. And then it came out with
- 13:47the uh the little remotes one of the fire sticks.
- 13:50Uh huh he had those and the old guy died.
- 13:54Speaker 2: I mean, man, oh that's sad.
- 13:56Speaker 8: Yeah, we always had the hook up.
- 13:58Speaker 2: Man.
- 13:58Speaker 13: I was like, man, I sure been sick. I know
- 14:01they got one for streaming.
- 14:02Speaker 2: Now, I don't know, does does Hustleman still exist?
- 14:07Speaker 9: Right?
- 14:08Speaker 2: Are there people still?
- 14:08Speaker 3: Do?
- 14:09Speaker 1: You guys still got friends that uh, you know, are
- 14:11pulling a hustle? You guys still got friends that are
- 14:14shady and are trying to hook you up for the low,
- 14:17low costa nineteen ninety nine. I mean, I still got
- 14:21a friend he's always trying to get me into him.
- 14:23Every time I see this guy, he's trying to get
- 14:26me into some business venture. I think we're supposed to
- 14:28be cattle ranchers. Last month or this month or something
- 14:31ten grand we could start raising cattle. I'm like, okay,
- 14:36good morning, now what's going on?
- 14:37Speaker 2: ROMI?
- 14:37Speaker 12: I got one of them friends right now, still still
- 14:41still and now he's into cologne and shoes.
- 14:45Speaker 2: Okay.
- 14:46Speaker 13: The other day he offered me some shoes. They're like,
- 14:48there's I can't even pronounce it. Yeah, And he's like, dude,
- 14:52are twelve hundred dollars shoes right today?
- 14:55Speaker 6: He thought?
- 14:55Speaker 12: But I'll give him cheese four to four hundred. I'm
- 15:00I'm like, dude, why do I want four hundred dollars shoes?
- 15:02And then I asked him, you know, are they real?
- 15:03He's like, no, they're not real there, they're knockoffs. But
- 15:05I'm like, give me to forty dollars, fifty dollars non play.
- 15:10Speaker 2: Four hundred dollars for some knockoffs.
- 15:12Speaker 13: That's what I'm saying.
- 15:13Speaker 9: But he says, you can never tell unless you put
- 15:15them side by side.
- 15:16Speaker 8: By the real ones.
- 15:17Speaker 9: So I'm like, no, no cologne, the same thing.
- 15:20Speaker 12: He's trying to tell me cologne, expensive boat cologne.
- 15:22Speaker 9: Do you want to Colone?
- 15:24Speaker 11: But it's all knockoffs.
- 15:25Speaker 1: I ain't gonna lie, Rador, Dave. I miss those days.
- 15:27I miss the days when I'm walking through the parking
- 15:29lot of Kmart and some dudes trying to sell me
- 15:32bedroom furniture.
- 15:34Speaker 12: I still got homies like that Brome or if you
- 15:36need anything, you can contact right today.
- 15:38Speaker 9: Because i'll'll plug.
- 15:39Speaker 2: You in with it, all right, are they bore two
- 15:44by four? Seven to seven? Goodbry know what's going on?
- 15:48Speaker 14: Morning?
- 15:49Speaker 7: Hey?
- 15:49Speaker 2: What's up?
- 15:51Speaker 14: So you know you're talking about this. My dad had
- 15:54a friend when he was working and he's retired now.
- 15:57He owned a rant and then went out there. It's like,
- 16:03you know, still cattle, steal cattle, still cattle, like you know,
- 16:10for to bring home to up.
- 16:13Speaker 1: Oh my god, can I tell you something now, About
- 16:20three years ago, I'm sitting at the house and my
- 16:25buddy calls me. He goes, hey, you want a cow.
- 16:29I'm like what He goes, yeah, I'm out here working.
- 16:34He worked for some rancher out with some rancher goes, yeah,
- 16:37a cow died, and you know, they want to cut
- 16:40it up for me.
- 16:41Speaker 2: But I'll get I'll bring it to you.
- 16:42Speaker 1: I'll get it for you if you want it.
- 16:45Speaker 14: Like, oh my god, actually shot it and then it
- 16:49came back to light.
- 16:54Speaker 2: Welcome. That is so funny.
- 16:56Speaker 14: But then it came back to life.
- 16:58Speaker 2: Oh my god, Dad, that's your dad. That's awesome.
- 17:06Speaker 1: You know what, I would have took it if I
- 17:07knew how to butcher a cow, I would have taken it.
- 17:09Speaker 2: But I didn't know how to do that.
- 17:12Speaker 14: I mean we had meat. We had meat for like
- 17:14a year and a half.
- 17:15Speaker 2: Oh, that is so funny. That's awesome. Yeah, thanks for calling.
- 17:19That's great. That's great. Already four two, five, four or seven.
- 17:24And so you gotta miss those days, right you.
- 17:27Speaker 1: I mean, those are the days you will never know
- 17:29when you had a shady homeboy, you had a shady friend,
- 17:32or you at a you had a hustleman in your
- 17:34life that was always trying to get over. You'll just
- 17:37you never know, dude, those are the best days you
- 17:39have not lived. Till you're going down Mount Vernon Avenue.
- 17:44You stop and there is a semi truck trying to
- 17:50sell you grandfather clocks. You ain't lived, man, So that
- 17:56guy's trying to sell you a grandfather clock.
- 17:59Speaker 2: Already four two or seven to seven? Oh man, the
- 18:02good old days.
- 18:03Speaker 1: Something that you can't find anymore is the guy trying
- 18:06to sell you something, the hustleman, the scam artist, the
- 18:08get quick rich guy. You know, we used to have
- 18:11those in our lives every single day. You couldn't go
- 18:15anywhere without having that guy. You know, Hey, I can
- 18:17get you those EBT cards. If you want fifty cent dollar,
- 18:20I can get them for you. I mean, yeah, I
- 18:23get you anything. Already four two five, four seven to seven.
- 18:28Speaker 2: Out what's going on?
- 18:29Speaker 12: Okay, Romeo, that same shady friend I told you about
- 18:32eight months ago. He was in electronics, TV, radios and everything.
- 18:37Speaker 7: Okay, So he tells me he has a sixty five
- 18:39inch TV.
- 18:40Speaker 11: Good pride, she can't beat it.
- 18:42Speaker 6: I get this TV, get it home, give.
- 18:44Speaker 12: It to my daughter, and it has a Wendy's menu
- 18:46on it, and we cannot get this menu off of
- 18:49the TV.

- 31:05guy back in the day. Man, so I grew up.
- 31:08I just jumped in the car right now. I'm gonna
- 31:10do it a little rubb with it. But I was
- 31:12hearing what you had to said. Back where I grew up,
- 31:14only the pioneer boxes work. You would have to replace
- 31:17the chimpenom and then jumping on a resistir. And we
- 31:22used here, used to buy from fifty dollars and trying
- 31:24for two fifty all day. But are you thinking only
- 31:29the parks were like three dollars, used to buy from China.
- 31:35And people were talking about hooking it up at the
- 31:37cable pox.
- 31:38Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 31:38Speaker 9: If the one that hooked up at the cables had
- 31:40the apartment, we used to have to climb up the pole
- 31:43and splice it and put the mail of doctor back
- 31:46on me. Looking back up, man, I'm not listening to you, homie.
- 31:52Speaker 2: You stay up the big dogs all right later. Oh,

- 32:12who you called to come turn on your cable already
- 32:15four two five, four seven to seven. Yeah, these guys
- 32:18don't exist anymore. They're just not there, Hey Romeo, we
- 32:22paid one hundred and eighty bucks to get a cable
- 32:25for five years until we have some new neighbors. They
- 32:28cut off the box exactly one hundred and eighty bucks.
- 32:31That's a good deal already. Four two five, four seven seven.
- 32:38Speaker 2: Yeah.

- 32:51Speaker 2: Like, Man, guess what just happened to me? I just
- 32:53I just scored right now, Hey Romeo.
- 32:56Speaker 1: A guy was trying to hustle me with a pair
- 32:59of shoes in the park, and I noticed that the
- 33:01Jordan logo had a third leg, Hey Romeo, until Raider
- 33:09Dave hooked me up with outside furniture.
- 33:14Speaker 2: Hey, goodring to Romeo.
- 33:15Speaker 1: Uh, sometimes you have to be careful whenever you're you're
- 33:19the homie hookup, because one time I was that guy
- 33:23and when I sold what I sold, I went to
- 33:25the bar later on that night, and I found out
- 33:28that the twenty dollars bill, oh, the twenty dollars bills
- 33:31were fake bills.
- 33:34Speaker 2: The hustle man got hustled. Huh going it out? What's
- 33:38going on.
- 33:40Speaker 15: Here?
- 33:40Speaker 2: Hey Robins? Put on?
- 33:42Speaker 8: So buddy, Hey, I had that happened to me. One
- 33:44time I bought a TV.
- 33:46Speaker 16: I was all happy I.
- 33:46Speaker 11: Got it for like, I think it was one hundred bucks.
- 33:49End up going home, opening up the box, a gang
- 33:52of bricks in there.
- 33:53Speaker 16: Oh, man, was your boy?
- 33:55Speaker 8: Your boy was hot?

- 34:24exposed him in front of everybody right there. I started
- 34:26opening his stuff and he said, look, you've got bricks,
- 34:28he's got lags, he's got all kinds of crap in
- 34:30there what he had, So yeah, I exposed him.
- 34:34Speaker 1: Why would you not look in the box at first
- 34:37in the first place.
- 34:40Speaker 11: Well, because you know it was I was coming at
- 34:42the store. I had my ice scream and all that.

- 35:15were wrapped still in the packages and you would get
- 35:18one home and open it and it wouldn't be that clone.
- 35:23I don't know how they did it, but man, my

- 35:46Speaker 2: Damn Well, you can't.
- 35:48Speaker 1: Do that anymore, right because I think the cops can
- 35:51just look at it, right, they just tap in your
- 35:53license plighting it tells. But that's a good one. I
- 35:57had a friend that back in the day when I
- 36:00was in college. The parking passes. When you go to college,
- 36:05you have to buy a parking pass every year. Thirty

- 38:33up in their yard, and apparently they don't play pay
- 38:36that close attention to who fills up. I guess because
- 38:39they got so many employees.

- 42:00Speaker 2: I just need to tell Seahawk Lou this.
- 42:02Speaker 1: Now that I was listening to the three things that
- 42:05Lou had the hookup on, he was telling me, right, smog,
- 42:09I haven't had a smog of car in twenty probably
- 42:12twenty plus years, maybe almost thirty, how about twenty five years.

- 43:10Speaker 15: Hey?
- 43:10Speaker 5: You just have to be careful with the hookers on
- 43:12those TV electronics, I mean the electronic TV man. Why
- 43:18so my brother bought us seventy five inch TV and
- 43:22he was like, bro, I got the hook ups, man,
- 43:24this is the cool TV.
- 43:26Speaker 6: We're gonna go pick it up.
- 43:27Speaker 5: We helped, I helped them Mountain And when we.
- 43:29Speaker 11: Turn it on, it was like just the menu for
- 43:31like this doodle place.
- 43:37Speaker 5: We didn't even kick it if it was if it was,
- 43:42we didn't even turn it on. It didn't come up
- 43:45with remote or nothing.
- 43:46Speaker 16: Were just like, oh man, you gotta play.
- 43:49Speaker 17: Bron that's you couldn't even flip the menu.
- 43:59Speaker 16: Doing no, it just goes to the noodles and then
- 44:04the menu, and he'll go back to the noodles, and
- 44:07we're like, man.
- 44:09Speaker 2: Oh my god, that's so funny.
- 44:12Speaker 1: Oh man, why is anybody buying a TV out of
- 44:14a parking lot?
- 44:15Speaker 2: Anyways? Man, they're so cheap. Nowadays they're not expensive.
- 44:19Speaker 11: I guess he said he got a steal of a
- 44:22deal for that one.
- 44:23Speaker 1: Oh man, Well, how much were the noodles? I'm talking
- 44:32about hustle man, right, the guy that the dude that
- 44:37always has the hook up for you, right sometimes, or
- 44:40the dude in the.
- 44:41Speaker 2: Parking lot selling something, or the dude in the the.
- 44:44Speaker 1: Guy that shows up your house at your house trying
- 44:47to sell you something he stole or something. Right, that
- 44:50guy's not around as much anymore. But I do got
- 44:53to tell you a funny story though. Hey roll, My
- 44:55dad was the man back then. You know those Schneider trailers.
- 45:00Dad was a truck driver. He would break into them,
- 45:03so we always had the new, new of everything. You
- 45:07needed a TV, my dad got you you needed a
- 45:10new camera. My dad got you you needed five oh one,
- 45:15jeans my dad got you. It was always it was
- 45:18always the Seers trucks.
- 45:24Speaker 2: Oh my god, let me ask you this question.
- 45:27Speaker 1: When's the last time you got the hook up like
- 45:31a legitimate deal. I'm gonna tell you. I'm gonna tell
- 45:34you something funny.
- 45:34Speaker 2: Okay.
- 45:35Speaker 1: So one of my theos he he uh, one of
- 45:41my toos went to buy something from an older lady, right,
- 45:45and he was buying it was something for his for
- 45:48his RV or for his trailer, his fifth wheel, and
- 45:52it was some sort of motorized cart to wheel it around,
- 45:55I guess, to push it around, so you wouldn't he
- 45:57could back it in with that.
- 46:00Speaker 2: Well, she has a boat sitting there.
- 46:01Speaker 1: You know this is if you ever want to buy
- 46:03anything at a cheap, go find an older man or
- 46:07lady who's lost their lost their spouse and it's just
- 46:11trying to get rid of their stuff. Okay, they'll give
- 46:14it to you you cheap because they just want it gone.
- 46:16So he's there, right, and a boat. She goes, I
- 46:20got this boat. You want to buy a boat while
- 46:21you're here? And he's like, no, I don't want a boat.
- 46:24So he's buying this thing, loading up whatever you bought
- 46:26in the truck. She tells me, you want to buy
- 46:28this boat, I'll give you a great deal on it.
- 46:30Just i'll give you. You know, it's a brand new
- 46:32and that hasn't been used. My husband bought it before
- 46:34he passed away. When never heat blah blah blah. Right,
- 46:37Finally he starts to drive away, and she says, you
- 46:41know what.
- 46:42Speaker 2: I'll just give you the boat. Just take the boat.
- 46:46Speaker 1: So my THEO takes the boat, drives it down, the
- 46:51drives it down.
- 46:51Speaker 2: To his buddy's house, and flips.
- 46:53Speaker 1: It for like, I don't know, four grand or three
- 46:55grand or something crazy, right, hook up? When's the last
- 46:59time you got hookup like that? Do you know what
- 47:01I'm saying?
- 47:02Speaker 2: Or have you ever? I never have. I've never got a.
- 47:05Speaker 1: Deal like that on anything in my life. You know,
- 47:09they always say, if you ever want to get a hookup,
- 47:11go find somebody. Go find an oil field dude who's
- 47:13going through a divorce. Go find a cop who's going
- 47:15through a divorce who cheated on his wife. Because those
- 47:18are the guys, those types of guys, you know, these
- 47:20these welders, these guys that make these hardworking guys that
- 47:23make real money, they go out and buy these jet
- 47:27skis and these boats and these travel trailers, and they
- 47:30buy these sand rails, and then when they go cheat
- 47:32on their wives and they get divorced.
- 47:35Speaker 2: Man, those women start or he either.
- 47:37Speaker 1: Start selling it off cheap because he got bills to pay,
- 47:40or she starts selling it off.
- 47:42Speaker 2: You know what I'm saying. We're having this conversation.
- 47:45Speaker 1: The other day. A friend of mine calls me and goes, Yo, man,
- 47:47I'm looking for a good deal on a trailer. I said,
- 47:49you got to go find a guy that cheated on
- 47:50his wife. There's plenty of them in Beakersfield. They'll be
- 47:53selling off their toys immediately. You ever got a deal?
- 47:57When's the last time I got a Once again, I
- 47:59got a couple of friends of mine. Kind of makes
- 48:02me mad that I didn't get this deal. A friend
- 48:04of mine and his wife, family member was going through divorce,
- 48:09got a trailer over Pismo Coast village. Tenji's out the door.
- 48:14You know, I mean, I've never gotten a deal. Have
- 48:18you ever gotten a deal? Have you ever gotten a
- 48:19hookup like that? That was a legitimate deal already four
- 48:23two five, four or seven to seven.
- 48:26Speaker 15: This is go on a by a stucker.
- 48:28Speaker 2: What's going on?
- 48:29Speaker 9: Are you talking about a hustle?
- 48:32Speaker 2: No, I'm actually talking about getting a good deal.
- 48:36Speaker 4: Okay, oh good, because well, I'll just tell you real quick.
- 48:39My brother he sort for the A company.
- 48:41Speaker 15: Oh, and he would give.
- 48:42Speaker 4: A flat of eggs pre flat eggs every single week,
- 48:45to the point we got so much eggs that we
- 48:47had start giving them to our neighbors.
- 48:48Speaker 1: Everybody, Can I just tell you something, Before you got
- 48:51a job, you used to be on point with our topics.
- 48:55Now that you've got a job, you're late to the
- 48:56party every time.
- 48:58Speaker 15: Yeah, I'm gonna birthday shot.
- 49:00Speaker 14: I mean, could I do a real quick graduation?
- 49:03Speaker 2: Oh god, hurry up, okay, I want.
- 49:05Speaker 4: To take gradulations to my shot. I'm so proud of you.
- 49:08Oh my gosh, everybody that's shouting him, she did it,
- 49:11he did it.
- 49:12Speaker 3: He's graduating high school.
- 49:13Speaker 9: Baby.
- 49:14Speaker 2: Wait wait, wait, wait what high school?
- 49:18Speaker 15: He's graduating from independent high school?
- 49:20Speaker 2: Was okay?
- 49:21Speaker 1: All right, all right, congratulations, congratulations Dyah and his girlfriend.
- 49:25Speaker 4: I'm so proud of you guys.
- 49:27Speaker 9: You guys did it.
- 49:28Speaker 2: Oh my god, thank you boy. This job has really
- 49:32screwed up my show. I'm just letting you know.
- 49:36Speaker 1: Thank you already four two by four, seven to seven
- 49:41here room. I used to work that at this apartment
- 49:44complex and when people move out, they would give me tables, couches,
- 49:48barbecue bits, and I'll just put them on offer up
- 49:51forty sixty bucks, cashing in all the time.
- 49:53Speaker 2: See that's a hookup right there.
- 49:56Speaker 1: I never got Wait, hold on, let me now that
- 49:58you brought that up, hold on, did I get a hookup?
- 50:04Speaker 2: Uh? Yeah, I guess no. I remember when I first
- 50:10moved to Bakersfield.
- 50:11Speaker 1: One of the the guy that lived next to me
- 50:13was a doctor and he was living from He was
- 50:17living here in Bakersfield working and then about a year
- 50:20and a half later, two years later, he was moving
- 50:23back home and he said I could have anything I
- 50:27wanted in his apartment before he tried to sell it all.
- 50:31I don't remember if I took anything, though, but at
- 50:34least I got the offer. I guess that's the closest
- 50:37I've come to a hookup, to a real hookup. You
- 50:39know what I'm saying. I already poured two by four
- 50:42or seven and seven a you have and chief spen,
- 50:44I got a hookup from this one girl a long
- 50:46time ago. She was breaking up with a boyfriend. She
- 50:50wanted to get rid of his Jordan's ten pair collection.
- 50:53I bought them for a hundred bucks and flipped them
- 50:56for a thousand. Not too shabby, homeroom.
- 50:59Speaker 2: That's what I'm saying.
- 51:01Speaker 1: If you ever want to get a real hook up,
- 51:03you gotta find the couple that's breaking up. You gotta
- 51:08find the dude that cheated on his chick. And she's
- 51:11ready to liquidate everything. We're talking about hustleman earlier talking
- 51:15about getting hustled, right, so let's talk about getting hooked up,
- 51:18like legitimately, you got a great deal. And I know
- 51:23this sounds so horrible, but you're gonna get your best
- 51:27deal on a dude that cheated on his wife, especially
- 51:32these cats that make a lot of money and buy
- 51:35these toys, or somebody that died. A spouse dies and
- 51:41the other spouse just doesn't want their stuffing around anymore,
- 51:44you know. Or they might have some old car that
- 51:46he only drove every once in a while on Sundays
- 51:50and she wants to get rid of it, and it
- 51:52just unfortunately, that's what happens.
- 51:57Speaker 2: A roem.
- 51:57Speaker 1: I started school last year and this guy had a
- 51:59yard and we get there. We're going through things and
- 52:03he had he had a pink Apple computer. I needed
- 52:06a computer for school, so I asked how much. He
- 52:09said how much he got? I said eighty bucks. He said,
- 52:11give me fifty. I said, what's wrong with it? He said,
- 52:15my wife was what's wrong? I said, what's wrong with it?
- 52:21He said, my wife was sleeping with the gardener and
- 52:24she's on a girl's trip. That's what's wrong with it.
- 52:26Speaker 2: So we turned so we turned it on. He logs
- 52:32her out lets, me log in.
- 52:35Speaker 1: We gave him eighty for the computer, a camera, a kindle,
- 52:39and I don't remember what else, but he was mad mad.
- 52:42So yeah, someone else lost is our wind. I sold
- 52:47the camera and the kindle for two undred bucks, kept
- 52:49the computer.
- 52:50Speaker 2: That's what I'm saying, bro. If you really that's what
- 52:53you got to look for.
- 52:55Speaker 1: You know, you got to find some bitter spouse selling
- 52:58off their cheating spouse's crap. You will get the best
- 53:02deals because they don't care already four two four or
- 53:08seven to seven. Hey, Romeo, I want to tell you
- 53:13my story, but I'm going to sound like such a jerk.
- 53:16When me and my wife were dating before we got married.
- 53:19Her grandfather passed away. So I went to the funeral,
- 53:25and we went to the funeral, and then we went
- 53:28back to her grandmother's house for the reception. Afterwards. I
- 53:33was standing there in the garage. There was a seventy Chevy. Oh,
- 53:37a seventy pickup, a seventy something Chevy pickup. The grandma
- 53:44walks out and was telling me that was her husband.
- 53:47I said, would you be willing to sell it? It
- 53:50just so happened that she was worried about money now
- 53:54that her husband was gone, So I gave her two
- 53:59thousand dollars for like a thirty thousand dollars truck. My
- 54:03girlfriend was a little mad at me, but she's not
- 54:05mad at me now as my wife when we drive
- 54:08around in it.
- 54:14Speaker 2: Hey, man, happens all the time. Happens all the time.
- 54:20Speaker 1: I don't yeah, I don't know if i'd feel bad
- 54:22about it. But okay, all right, already four two five fours.
- 54:27What are we talking about? Hey, good morn to Rome.
- 54:29I used to work for Walmart. Now, I was a
- 54:32receiver in the back room. I started dating a driver
- 54:35who worked for a beer company. I would go to
- 54:38lunch and meet him to fill my trunk full of
- 54:41cases a beer. I ain't gonna lie, man. Beer's a hookup.
- 54:47That's a legitimate hookup. Dating a guy who was giving
- 54:50you free beer cases a beer.
- 54:52Speaker 2: That that's a legitimate hookup. Schools just about out right.
- 54:58I think we got a couple more days. Maybe some
- 55:00of you are out already, but summer is here, and
- 55:03let's talk a little bit about school.
- 55:04Speaker 1: Let's talk about your best school memory, whether it was
- 55:07a teacher, your friends. I mean, some of you were
- 55:09graduating high school and you're never going to see anybody again.
- 55:13Somebod you might be moving out of state. But let's
- 55:15talk about it. What was your favorite part of school?
- 55:18What was your best school memory? Maybe that's where you
- 55:19met your wife.
- 55:21Speaker 2: I don't know what I used to like.
- 55:22Speaker 1: I used to have a math teacher every year who
- 55:25would play play a movie. Movie Day was the best
- 55:28day at school for some reason. Movie day and cheezy bread.
- 55:32For some reason, those are the things I remember the
- 55:34most about high school.
- 55:36Speaker 2: But my friends were cool. I'm trying to think, Well,
- 55:39let's talk about it, Artie four two five, four seven seven.
- 55:43Speaker 3: What was it?
- 55:44Speaker 1: What was your favorite part about school? What was your
- 55:46best school memory? Whether it be high school, whether it
- 55:49be middle school, elementary school. I mean, I guess even
- 55:52college colleges school as well. So let's talk about it.
- 55:56What was your favorite part of school? Arty four two, five, four,
- 55:58seven to seven? Talk about the best part of school?
- 56:01What's your favorite school memory? Where you out what's going on?
- 56:03Speaker 14: Good morning?
- 56:04Speaker 4: Yeah, you're just the nail on the hands.
- 56:06Speaker 14: Yeah, getting out of school, getting school quotes. And remember
- 56:10the movie day where you didn't do nothing but watch movie.
- 56:13Speaker 13: Yeah that was a bit because you knew it was
- 56:16just gonna.
- 56:16Speaker 4: Be two so work on assignments.
- 56:19Speaker 1: Watching movies.
- 56:21Speaker 15: You mean the snacks they brought in, that was a bit.
- 56:23Speaker 2: Yeah, you're right. I forgot about movie Day.
- 56:25Speaker 1: Movie day and substitute teacher day was always the best

- 1:04:31ring running to the line for the bar.
- 1:04:32Speaker 3: But in the end he bought us off pizza because
- 1:04:34we all got like as like literally all of us
- 1:04:37all age like we're all good kids and really healthy kids.
