- 0:00Speaker 1: All right, what up y'all? Welcome to I Have Some
- 0:03Speaker 1: on the Internet, the show where me and.
- 0:04Speaker 2: My comedian comedian friends talk about the random stories that
- 0:08Speaker 2: you send in. You can submit the crazy stories to
- 0:11Speaker 2: Internet at kevinstage dot com. All we ask is that
- 0:13Speaker 2: they're not trending. They can be as old as a year,
- 0:16Speaker 2: up to nineteen seventy six, I think is the oldest
- 0:18Speaker 2: one that we've seen today. One from nineteen ninety a
- 0:21Speaker 2: couple episodes ago, so please suggest those. Today's guests are
- 0:25Speaker 2: Kisha E, Kanisha Buss, Jasmine w.
- 0:28Speaker 1: We're having a good.
- 0:29Speaker 2: Time here and this story is weird and I don't
- 0:32Speaker 2: know how it happened. Oh and also if you've never
- 0:34Speaker 2: seen this show, the comedians don't know what the topic.
- 0:37Speaker 1: Gets until I read it.
- 0:39Speaker 2: Doctors find twenty seven contact lenses in a woman's eye
- 0:45Speaker 2: during her routine cataract surgery. Also, how can the surgery
- 0:48Speaker 2: routine that's em to a sixty seven year old woman's
- 0:52Speaker 2: schedule for routine cataract surgery November. Thought it was just
- 0:54Speaker 2: dry eye or old age causing her discomfort, she told surgeons.
- 0:57Speaker 2: But what doctors at suley Hole Hospital in the UK
- 1:01Speaker 2: found to be the real cause of her discomfort was
- 1:04Speaker 2: more concerning twenty seven contact lenses stuck in a woman's
- 1:06Speaker 2: right eye in a blue mass.
- 1:09Speaker 3: Uh.
- 1:10Speaker 2: The woman, Oh, hold on, let me skip down. He
- 1:14Speaker 2: put a speculum into my eye. The woman said to
- 1:16Speaker 2: hold the eye open, and she put that on a
- 1:17Speaker 2: steak in and he noticed the blue mask under the
- 1:18Speaker 2: top of the eyelid. There was seventeen lenses on one
- 1:22Speaker 2: side and another ten discovered afterwards. We were all shocked.
- 1:27Speaker 2: She had zero in the other eye. She was wearing
- 1:30Speaker 2: once a month contacts for thirty five years, and it's
- 1:34Speaker 2: unclear how long they had been gathering in her eye. Nah.
- 1:38Speaker 3: Hell now, I used to wear contacts.
- 1:41Speaker 4: I used to wear contexts, and you could barely get
- 1:44Speaker 4: one of them. Shits in your eye and if you
- 1:46Speaker 4: move around, you be rolling your eyes like it's painful.
- 1:51Speaker 2: That's exactly what I was going to say. I wore
- 1:53Speaker 2: contacts for a long time. Yeah, and I wore the
- 1:56Speaker 2: like you could leave them in one It's hard enough
- 2:00Speaker 2: to get on and if it goes up in your eye.
- 2:03Speaker 1: You can feel it.
- 2:04Speaker 2: Yeah, putting also going to put another one in right right,
- 2:11Speaker 2: like you can't put it over it won't.
- 2:13Speaker 1: It needs to hit the eye to go in.
- 2:16Speaker 2: So if it rolled up, how are you not like
- 2:19Speaker 2: you know you have to like do this and then
- 2:21Speaker 2: it'll like come back down.
- 2:23Speaker 1: Twenty six times you were like, let me just fire
- 2:26Speaker 1: another one.
- 2:27Speaker 4: First of all, your eyelids look so tight. I don't
- 2:29Speaker 4: know how you got when you lifted up your eyelids.
- 2:33Speaker 4: It didn't look like there was no room for you
- 2:34Speaker 4: to put nothing is there's no way?
- 2:36Speaker 2: And do they go to because I know there's a
- 2:38Speaker 2: couple of times mine got stuck in the ball.
- 2:40Speaker 1: You don't know that's the context right now?
- 2:41Speaker 5: Perfectly?
- 2:42Speaker 2: Okay, Oh you didn't have to do that, Okay, I
- 2:45Speaker 2: perfect After I got la It was tough, but I
- 2:51Speaker 2: remember when I first started putting contexts in. You don't
- 2:54Speaker 2: realize how odd it is to touch your eyeball. Your
- 2:56Speaker 2: eyes designed to keep things out, so it takes a
- 2:59Speaker 2: little It took me at least. Don't know about you, jass,
- 3:01Speaker 2: but it took me a long time to be able
- 3:02Speaker 2: to put a contact in and you feel it and
- 3:05Speaker 2: when it's off, you feel it off. Yeah, So twenty
- 3:09Speaker 2: six times you was.
- 3:11Speaker 1: Like, man, I don't know what happened to that one fresh.
- 3:13Speaker 6: That's what I said, where are she's open?
- 3:17Speaker 2: New?
- 3:17Speaker 3: She's open and probably a new pack.
- 3:19Speaker 6: But didn't know she took it because yeah, I'm not
- 3:22Speaker 6: an expert in this area.
- 3:23Speaker 7: But it feels like at some point you you're like
- 3:25Speaker 7: can you see? Like how do you how are you right?
- 3:27Speaker 5: What is your vision?
- 3:29Speaker 4: She has little particles in her eye in the back
- 3:32Speaker 4: of her eye at all times.
- 3:33Speaker 3: That's odd.
- 3:35Speaker 6: Because a mask means they're kind of crunched and balled up.
- 3:38Speaker 6: That yeah, because they after a while know they like something. Well,
- 3:43Speaker 6: after all, don't you just be like I'm going to
- 3:44Speaker 6: glasses because you know what I'm saying, like, when do
- 3:48Speaker 6: you go?
- 3:48Speaker 8: You know what?
- 3:48Speaker 4: The contacts ain't working for me because I remember the
- 3:52Speaker 4: first time I got only have it in one eye.
- 3:55Speaker 3: She's weird. This lady's nuts.
- 3:57Speaker 1: Uh.
- 3:58Speaker 4: My dad came with me the first time, My god,
- 4:00Speaker 4: and it's it's actually it was a bad decision because
- 4:03Speaker 4: he's so impatient. Like I was trying to get that
- 4:05Speaker 4: in my eye and it would fall out. And then
- 4:08Speaker 4: after about three childs, my daddy.
- 4:09Speaker 9: Was like, damn, damn, open your eye, like he wanted
- 4:13Speaker 9: to put it in for me.
- 4:14Speaker 3: I was crying.
- 4:15Speaker 8: I was like, please just help me.
- 4:17Speaker 3: He was so mad, like he was like every.
- 4:20Speaker 1: Time, it's so frustrated.
- 4:23Speaker 2: That's why if Johnny has fun out, why did black
- 4:26Speaker 2: parents think is gonna help you?
- 4:29Speaker 1: Crazy dog beating me? That's I'm still not.
- 4:35Speaker 2: It was.
- 4:35Speaker 3: It was traumatic that lady. Something is wrong with you.
- 4:39Speaker 6: You imagine you're trying to get your sight together and
- 4:41Speaker 6: your father.
- 4:42Speaker 3: Yeah, he cussed me out every time I missed. He
- 4:46Speaker 3: cuts me out every time.
- 4:47Speaker 6: I was like, damn, see, I'm glad I didn't have
- 4:49Speaker 6: a phone as well. I ain't got it DMN with
- 4:51Speaker 6: none of this ship his pros and not have a
- 4:57Speaker 6: father out there.
- 4:59Speaker 2: This video on tic talk the other day, and this
- 5:01Speaker 2: lady was like, you don't have that vision. You just
- 5:05Speaker 2: don't believe in yourself enough. If you believe in yourself,
- 5:08Speaker 2: your vision will come back. And people was like, you
- 5:11Speaker 2: don't tell.
- 5:11Speaker 3: People manifesting motherfuckers.
- 5:14Speaker 6: I swear to God I do every time it's you
- 5:17Speaker 6: need to manifest some ship.
- 5:19Speaker 3: Well I've been thinking I'm skinny for a.
- 5:20Speaker 6: Long time, so I just I'm so tired of these
- 5:26Speaker 6: manifestation fools.
- 5:28Speaker 3: Even now you got a manifest vision.
- 5:34Speaker 2: She was like y'all just don't your poor eyesight is
- 5:36Speaker 2: a is a reflection of how you see yourself.
- 5:38Speaker 3: No, no, no shit.
- 5:43Speaker 4: I had glasses when I was in the fourth grade.
- 5:45Speaker 4: I didn't know trees had leaves. I thought they were
- 5:47Speaker 4: just screen blurs.
- 5:50Speaker 3: Damn. I was amazed, Like, damn, trees got leaves.
- 5:54Speaker 1: God.
- 5:55Speaker 8: I never know what was your first prescription.
- 5:59Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 6:00Speaker 4: It was like hella hi by vocal Yeah. Because every
- 6:05Speaker 4: day in elementary school would excuse me, can I come
- 6:07Speaker 4: to the front, Excuse me?
- 6:08Speaker 3: Can I come to the front.
- 6:09Speaker 4: And one day my teacher pulled me aside and said,
- 6:11Speaker 4: I think you need glasses. And my mom was like, yeah,
- 6:15Speaker 4: you used to run into walls and oh my god, wall.
- 6:20Speaker 3: That's what she said. I was like, damn. She was like,
- 6:22Speaker 3: that's why you be running into walls and stuff.
- 6:27Speaker 1: Should keep running to these walls. I'm like that, what's
- 6:31Speaker 1: so funny.
- 6:32Speaker 2: I didn't know I needed glasses to my first day
- 6:34Speaker 2: of college, first day, first class, because I went, you know, high.
- 6:37Speaker 1: Schools thirty kids and the boy is only so far.
- 6:40Speaker 1: I remember, I never forget.
- 6:41Speaker 2: It was Cane Hall and it was like a lecture
- 6:43Speaker 2: hall set on thousand and I came from the back
- 6:46Speaker 2: and I didn't realize that the back sat at the
- 6:47Speaker 2: back of the front sad at the front, so it's packed.
- 6:50Speaker 1: So I was like, oh shoot, I don't want to
- 6:51Speaker 1: make no thing. I'm new college. I don't know.
- 6:53Speaker 2: I sat on the back row and that dude started
- 6:55Speaker 2: writing stuff. I was like, oh snap, I don't even
- 6:58Speaker 2: see a letter up here. It's just like it was
- 7:02Speaker 2: just glossy. And I was like, I think I might
- 7:05Speaker 2: need glasses. So I went to the doctor. There was like,
- 7:08Speaker 2: hold on you you been needed these, and I.
- 7:11Speaker 1: Think that was whack.
- 7:12Speaker 2: It was like the more I wore the I used
- 7:14Speaker 2: to be able to hoop with out the glasses, yeah,
- 7:16Speaker 2: but the more I wore them then I was like,
- 7:18Speaker 2: oh man, I can't. I can't hoop it out and

- 7:24Speaker 2: Niggas like all right, I got horse grant over here,
- 7:27Speaker 2: like value and knock your glasses.
- 7:29Speaker 1: You never feel so weak when you're.
- 7:31Speaker 3: Just like.
- 7:34Speaker 1: Never, I'd rather never play back.
- 7:37Speaker 2: I had regular glasses on, just hooping like you.
- 7:44Speaker 1: Push your ship up.
- 7:46Speaker 7: Well, I was like, kid, I'm trying to submit a
- 7:49Speaker 7: self tape.
- 7:50Speaker 5: Sorry, that was three hours ago. I forget.
- 7:52Speaker 7: I taped it last night and then I was too

- 10:21Speaker 7: actually really missed having.
- 10:22Speaker 5: I think sometime like I shouldn't don't get.
- 10:24Speaker 3: Some now your teeth are perfect, but.
- 10:27Speaker 7: It's again I ended up having to get them though,
- 10:29Speaker 7: because I had been I still have baby teeth when
- 10:32Speaker 7: I was like seventeen, about to be eighteen, and HA
- 10:35Speaker 7: been going to the same dentist my whole life, so
- 10:36Speaker 7: every time I would go in there, they would be like,
- 10:38Speaker 7: Sally Baggy, come, look like all my mouth, but you
- 10:41Speaker 7: still have So my senior year of high school, I
- 10:44Speaker 7: go in for a regular cleaning, was supposed to be
- 10:47Speaker 7: a regular cleaning. Next thing you know, all of these
- 10:50Speaker 7: needles is coming there numbing me and they pulled my
- 10:52Speaker 7: fucking baby tea.
- 10:53Speaker 5: Oh I'm pissed.
- 10:55Speaker 1: You didn't know to.
- 10:56Speaker 5: Talk to school.
- 10:57Speaker 7: It wasn't like I was not talking to everybody was
- 10:59Speaker 7: like shit, and I'm like, they do that. Their theory was,
- 11:04Speaker 7: because your teeth are straight, we don't want your permanit
- 11:05Speaker 7: teeth to grow in and then your teeth because they'll.
- 11:07Speaker 3: Be on the line.
- 11:08Speaker 7: Well, did your teeth come in? Well, that was the thing.
- 11:10Speaker 7: So time goes back. I got texting your pictures. I'm like,
- 11:13Speaker 7: I'm walking. I was seventy yeah, with no teeth. No,
- 11:20Speaker 7: not no teeth.
- 11:21Speaker 5: But here's the thing. So it was two teeth in
- 11:22Speaker 5: the bottom.
- 11:23Speaker 7: But because they were baby teeth, it didn't look like
- 11:25Speaker 7: complete snaggletooth.
- 11:26Speaker 5: It just looked like you.
- 11:27Speaker 1: Had I had gaps.
- 11:28Speaker 5: Yeah, but I'm pissed because my teeth are perfectly straight.
- 11:31Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 11:31Speaker 7: So time goes by. My teeth don't grow back, and
- 11:33Speaker 7: I'm checking in. I gotta take senior pictures, all of
- 11:35Speaker 7: my senior pictures. I'm like like, no, no, open mouth smile.
- 11:41Speaker 5: Finally they're like, well shit, we don't know, like nothing.
- 11:44Speaker 7: Is there, And I'm like, my teeth were perfectly.
- 11:48Speaker 5: They weren't loose.
- 11:48Speaker 7: I wasn't like this tooth is wiggling. Maybe that's just
- 11:50Speaker 7: what God had in store for me for the rest
- 11:52Speaker 7: of my life. Who told y'all to pull my teeth?
- 11:54Speaker 7: So then I ended up having to get racist. They
- 11:56Speaker 7: were like, well, we can fill it in. I'm like,
- 11:57Speaker 7: then I had extra big teeth on the side, I'm
- 12:01Speaker 7: not infested it.
- 12:03Speaker 1: I remember when I was getting my wisdom teeth.
- 12:05Speaker 2: I got all four out one day and the doctor
- 12:07Speaker 2: had asked me that I want to get him like
- 12:09Speaker 2: locally or anes teach or get the surgery. And I
- 12:11Speaker 2: was like, I don't know, man, just pull them, like
- 12:12Speaker 2: I don't know, whatever you think it's best.
- 12:15Speaker 1: So he's like, okay, we'll just pull them.
- 12:16Speaker 2: So apparently my teeth were in really strong, so he
- 12:20Speaker 2: was like almost like you jack in the car, you
- 12:23Speaker 2: know what I mean.
- 12:23Speaker 1: Like he was like yeah.
- 12:25Speaker 2: So he was getting frustrated because my teeth like I'm numb,
- 12:28Speaker 2: but I can feel like the pressure.
- 12:30Speaker 5: So he's like, God, you should have let me.
- 12:35Speaker 1: I'm like, first of all, I'm awake.
- 12:36Speaker 2: Also, if we both know that my eyes are open,
- 12:39Speaker 2: and the fact that you decided I didn't need the surgery.
- 12:42Speaker 2: So the fact that these t are giving you a
- 12:43Speaker 2: hard time, don't take that out on me. You muttered
- 12:46Speaker 2: under your breath. I'm the patience, sir. You need to
- 12:56Speaker 2: tell me what. I don't know why you from said it.
- 12:59Speaker 8: He liken't even.
- 13:08Speaker 3: Think upset because I will come out.
- 13:11Speaker 1: I'm sorry, sir.
- 13:13Speaker 2: He's gonna tell the nurse is it too late to
- 13:15Speaker 2: do the surgery? We are not going under attitude.
- 13:22Speaker 3: You can watch them all bruises.
- 13:24Speaker 6: You can't have me even suck your whole ship out like, no,
- 13:27Speaker 6: that's normal bruise.
- 13:28Speaker 10: Yeah, sh you he slapping you ain't surgery.
- 13:40Speaker 2: I don't know this.
- 13:41Speaker 3: Stuff, sir.
- 13:42Speaker 2: Oh my gosh, it was fun. I drove my drove
- 13:45Speaker 2: myself home that night.
- 13:47Speaker 1: I'll never forget.
- 13:48Speaker 2: I was drinking the naked I couldn't feel my lip.
- 13:51Speaker 2: I look at my shirt. I got blood and I
- 13:53Speaker 2: have the blue naked all on my It was terrible.
- 13:56Speaker 2: I'm bleeding all on the They shouldn't even let people
- 13:58Speaker 2: do all four at once.
- 14:00Speaker 1: Know that it once. I just wasn't like I'm not
- 14:03Speaker 1: coming back.
- 14:04Speaker 2: I rather it was the worst weekend of my life,
- 14:06Speaker 2: you know, And I was so like you was like
- 14:09Speaker 2: sucking too fast and then the wind getting the little
- 14:12Speaker 2: So the good thing.
- 14:14Speaker 6: About that because I used to have the little land
- 14:15Speaker 6: shark teeth in the front, because you remember, what's the
- 14:17Speaker 6: land shark?
- 14:18Speaker 1: You know?
- 14:19Speaker 6: You don't remember that?
- 14:23Speaker 5: Probably since I met you.
- 14:24Speaker 3: Yeah only three years old, three four years old, I
- 14:30Speaker 3: remember that.
- 14:31Speaker 1: I knew you knew.
- 14:35Speaker 7: I didn't meet you before the pandemic, probably, I don't
- 14:39Speaker 7: think so I met you at the other location.
- 14:42Speaker 5: Yeah, I had just got them done because because I
- 14:46Speaker 5: first remember this.
- 14:47Speaker 1: Yeah, she used to keep her mouth close.
- 14:52Speaker 3: On the side. Can you don't have to?
- 14:55Speaker 5: It was like standing point. He had both Okay, yeah
- 14:58Speaker 5: they were really.
- 15:00Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 15:01Speaker 5: They're just their capped.
- 15:02Speaker 3: But what is land shark?
- 15:07Speaker 2: It's a shark, my Dennis and probably has to be
- 15:17Speaker 2: an l A thing. My Dennis in l A is
- 15:20Speaker 2: always trying to get me to get veneers every time
