- 0:47Dayna Roselli: Welcome to Vegas Revealed, episode 312.
- 0:50Dayna Roselli: Dana Roselli and Sean McAllister here, and I'm ready to hear about your experience.
- 0:56Dayna Roselli: I just call it Fogo.
- 0:57Dayna Roselli: The rest of the world.
- 0:58Sean McAllister: That's what a lot of people call it.
- 1:00Dayna Roselli: At Fogo at the Venetian, a brand new, well, it's not a new restaurant to Las Vegas, and it's not a new restaurant at all, but it's new to the Venetian.
- 1:07Sean McAllister: It's new to the Venetian.
- 1:08Sean McAllister: There's been a Fogo de Chow on uh East Flamingo Road for years and years and years.
- 1:14Sean McAllister: And Dana, this is something that I so I went to the opening of the new restaurant at the Venetian.
- 1:21Sean McAllister: See, I'm automatically trying to like jump right into the sidebar that popped into my head.
- 1:25Sean McAllister: Um, they had a ribbon cutting, it's a two-level uh restaurant inside of Venetian.
- 1:31Sean McAllister: Where?
- 1:31Sean McAllister: Uh it's right next door to uh Smith and Walensky.
- 1:35SPEAKER_04: Oh, okay.
- 1:35Sean McAllister: So if you're standing in the Grail Canal Grand Canal shops looking at Smith and Walensky, Fogo de Chow is just to the left.
- 1:43Sean McAllister: Uh so they have the downstairs uh on the main level of the canal shops, but then the upstairs, it apparently used to all be storage space.
- 1:54Sean McAllister: But they got in and looked at it and said, Oh my gosh, we need to turn this into something.
- 1:58Sean McAllister: So there's a huge bar, a huge dining room in the upper level as well.
- 2:04Sean McAllister: The food, delicious.
- 2:06Sean McAllister: Um, they had a wagyu cart that was rolling around.
- 2:10Dayna Roselli: So for people who don't know what it is, explain, let's go back and explain that because I do think this will appeal to Vegas visitors.
- 2:17Sean McAllister: Yes, and thank you for slowing me down because I was just gonna keep right on going.
- 2:21Sean McAllister: Uh, so Fogo de Chow is a Brazilian steakhouse.
- 2:25Sean McAllister: It's one of those uh places, but this is a gourmet Brazilian steakhouse.
- 2:30Sean McAllister: Their cuts of meat are like are high-end cuts, which leads me into the uh the Wagyu rolling cart.
- 2:38Dayna Roselli: And this is a kind where you can it keep you pay a price and the meat keeps coming out as much as you want, all you can eat, right?
- 2:45Dayna Roselli: Keeps coming around, and then you can hit up the salad bar, which was also good.
- 2:50Sean McAllister: Like more than a salad bar.
- 2:54Sean McAllister: They had like all the charcuterie stuff, they had different kinds of uh like they had a chicken salad that was delicious, you know, like chicken salad that you would make a sandwich out of, but it had like a citrusy hint to it.
- 3:08Dayna Roselli: Well, they have a lot at that salad bar.
- 3:09Dayna Roselli: I went to the one on East Flamingo for a speaking engagement, and I only had the salad bar.
- 3:13Dayna Roselli: Well, I think they did bring out a little bit of meat, but I was rushed and because I was one of the speakers, and I remember the meat was great, but the salad bar was good.
- 3:20Dayna Roselli: I mean it's it's over the top.
- 3:22Sean McAllister: It is over the top.
- 3:23Sean McAllister: Okay, and they have menus at the bar, they uh they have a cart uh coming around making Brazilian cocktails.
- 3:31Sean McAllister: It was a great, great night.
- 3:34Dayna Roselli: Back to the cuts of meat.
- 3:35Dayna Roselli: Okay.
- 3:35Sean McAllister: Back to the cuts of meat.
- 3:37Sean McAllister: So there were big pork chops coming around, and everything is like fire roasted, so it's got that good crust on it, all sorts of different beef cuts.
- 3:47Sean McAllister: They had the wagyu cart that was rolling around, so they would slice the uh piece of meat off of the steak, and then they would grill it in front of you on this searing hot block of Himalayan sea salt, and then you would use your tongs to you know put it onto your plate.
- 4:07Sean McAllister: I mean, just mouth watering, melting your mouth tender.
- 4:12Sean McAllister: Right.
- 4:12Sean McAllister: Everything was delicious.
- 4:14Sean McAllister: But one thing I didn't realize is that there are FOGO fanatics.
- 4:18Dayna Roselli: Oh, really?
- 4:19Dayna Roselli: Yes, there are they have their own fan club?
- 4:22Sean McAllister: They yes, and I met Nancy and Roberto, who live out in Lake Las Vegas, and they sat at a table right next to us.
- 4:30Sean McAllister: We ended up chatting with them, having a great time, but they're uh Fogo fanatics.
- 4:35Sean McAllister: Okay, they bring new people into the restaurant every single month, and they are there are Fogo fanatics from aro across the country and around the world.
- 4:44Dayna Roselli: Right.
- 4:45Dayna Roselli: Interesting, yeah.
- 4:46Sean McAllister: So they have their own club.
- 4:47Dayna Roselli: Yeah, so like Barry Manilo has the phantalos.
- 4:50Dayna Roselli: There we go, the Backstreet Boys have BSB Nation.
- 4:57Sean McAllister: Yeah.
- 4:57Dayna Roselli: Yeah, and the new kids have the blockheads, but the Fogo de Chow fanatics.
- 5:04Dayna Roselli: Are the Fogo fanatics?
- 5:07Sean McAllister: It's great.
- 5:08Dayna Roselli: I love it.
- 5:10Dayna Roselli: All right, well, um, you also you've been busy.
- 5:13Dayna Roselli: I was staying home a lot last week.
- 5:15Dayna Roselli: I was like, I can't.
- 5:16Dayna Roselli: I've reached my limit.
- 5:17Dayna Roselli: Uh, you went to Sammy Hagar too.
- 5:19Dayna Roselli: Oh, yes.
- 5:20Dayna Roselli: How was Sammy at Park MGM?
- 5:21Dayna Roselli: Because you hadn't actually seen this version of the show in person.
- 5:24Dayna Roselli: We've seen Sammy, we saw him at the Strab, we've seen him perform at the the Palms and interviewed him, but the the Park MGM residency you couldn't get to last time.
- 5:33Sean McAllister: Right.
- 5:34Sean McAllister: So um got invited over uh by Sammy's team and stopped in.
- 5:39Sean McAllister: There was a little reception room that they had set up before the concert, right?
- 5:43Sean McAllister: And Sammy and the whole band came in.
- 5:47Sean McAllister: He has lined up uh like an A-list band for this residency as well.
- 5:54Sean McAllister: This is the best of all worlds residency, right?
- 5:57Sean McAllister: And it's the best of all worlds because it is the best hits of each era of Sammy's music career.
- 6:05Sean McAllister: So that's fantastic.
- 6:06Sean McAllister: We got to uh chat with Sammy a little bit before the before the show.
- 6:10Sean McAllister: It was just a quick little mingle thing, nothing, nothing official.
- 6:14Sean McAllister: But Sammy looks phenomenal.
- 6:17Sean McAllister: He's what 78 years old now.
- 6:19Sean McAllister: Oh no, is he?
- 6:20Dayna Roselli: Yeah, wow, that looks great.
- 6:22Sean McAllister: Is like I feel like he has more energy than I do.
- 6:25Dayna Roselli: Yeah, you gotta keep busy and you gotta keep doing what you love.
- 6:27Dayna Roselli: I mean, that's the key.
- 6:28Dayna Roselli: And he definitely loves performing and singing and rocking out and all of it.
- 6:32Sean McAllister: And he did.
- 6:33Sean McAllister: He rocked out.
- 6:34Sean McAllister: The crowd was up on their feet.
- 6:36Sean McAllister: It was a it was a great show.
- 6:38Sean McAllister: So you said you're getting a little Van Halen, you're getting chicken foot, you're getting Sammy Solo, you're getting it all.
- 6:46Sean McAllister: Getting it all you're getting the the best of all worlds.
- 6:48unknown: I love it.
- 6:50Dayna Roselli: All right, well, you know where else you're gonna get the best of all worlds.
- 6:53Dayna Roselli: Uh, if you go to the big culinary festival that they're having at Red Rock to celebrate their 20th anniversary, they're doing a big shindig by the pool.
- 7:03Dayna Roselli: We told you we would go over and do a story there, and we did.
- 7:07Dayna Roselli: And so let's play that first, and then we can chat about it.
- 7:10Dayna Roselli: But we chatted uh with the general manager and vice president of Red Rock, and it was great to talk to him.
- 7:16Dayna Roselli: We also talked with a day one employee over there.
- 7:21Dayna Roselli: Um, that was Raynel.
- 7:22Dayna Roselli: Her nickname is Ray, and she's been working at the Lucky Penny since the day Red Rock opened.
- 7:28Dayna Roselli: So listen to this story.
- 7:30SPEAKER_00: 20 years is a big deal, and uh, we have a lot of team members that have been here for that full 20-year period, which is awesome to be able to celebrate them.
- 7:36SPEAKER_00: But it's also part of the community.
- 7:37SPEAKER_00: If you think about where Summerlin was at 20 years ago to where they're at today, this entire city has grown around us, and it's been amazing to be a part of the community.
- 7:45SPEAKER_00: When this property was built, it was part of an integrated resort idea that has something for everyone every day.
- 7:51SPEAKER_00: And whether you're coming out with the family and you want to go bowling, you want to go see movies, uh, you're coming out with friends, you want to go play bingo or gamble, watch the sports games, whatever's on TV, or one of our many restaurants.
- 8:01SPEAKER_00: We have amazing food variety here on property.
- 8:03SPEAKER_00: There's something for everyone.
- 8:06SPEAKER_01: Hi, I'm Ray.
- 8:08SPEAKER_01: I'm a day one employee at Red Rock.
- 8:10SPEAKER_01: I must be having the time of my life because it's gone by so quickly.
- 8:14Dayna Roselli: Talk about some of the repeat customers.
- 8:16SPEAKER_01: Do you get that here?
- 8:17SPEAKER_01: So many.
- 8:18SPEAKER_01: We have watched so many of our guests grow, their families grow, the kids go off to college.
- 8:24SPEAKER_01: We have guests that have helped our team members take family members to appointments that they couldn't get to.
- 8:31SPEAKER_01: We have team, uh, we've had guests that they meet with their siblings here at certain times of the year.
- 8:38SPEAKER_01: They all come together.
- 8:40SPEAKER_01: We also have guests that are out-of-towners that are locals.
- 8:46SPEAKER_01: They come and visit us every year, same time of the year for many years.
- 8:51SPEAKER_01: Many years I've been here.
- 8:54SPEAKER_00: April 18th with Journal, which is our actual anniversary.
- 8:56SPEAKER_00: We have our food festival called Taste of Stations.
- 8:59SPEAKER_00: It's gonna be a combination of all of our best restaurants and the depth of variety that Stage Casinos has to offer, both here at Red Rock, but throughout all of our properties around Las Vegas as well.
- 9:08SPEAKER_00: And then on the end of the month, we're gonna celebrate with Journey here, right here in the back at Stand Bar Pool, which is just a beautiful location to celebrate one of America's greatest bands of all time Journey.
- 9:18SPEAKER_00: It's gonna be a spectacular night.
- 9:20Dayna Roselli: And if anyone's never been to a concert here, where do you do you put the stage?
- 9:23Dayna Roselli: Where do you put the stage?
- 9:24SPEAKER_00: Yeah, so the stage sits in the back of our standbar, just over here to the right.
- 9:27SPEAKER_00: Uh and then the entire pool fills up with people, uh, activations.
- 9:31SPEAKER_00: You know, we have our VIP spaces, we have cabanas that we sell, uh, the bars are all over some access to drinks, and it's a it's a great time.
- 9:39SPEAKER_01: I had the best compliment in the last two weeks.
- 9:42SPEAKER_01: Two different cables had said to me, is this casino new?
- 9:46SPEAKER_01: Or a 20-year-old casino?
- 9:48SPEAKER_01: I said to them, that is the best compliment I could ever hear.
- 9:51SPEAKER_01: And it was fantastic to hear that.
- 9:53SPEAKER_00: I think when you come to Red Rock every time it feels like a new place.
- 9:56SPEAKER_00: And not necessarily new, like unfamiliar, but new in the sense of it's always clean, it's well put together, it's well kept, uh, it looks beautiful every day.
- 10:05Dayna Roselli: Yeah, so we talked to Jordan Seeger, the VP and general manager of Red Rock.
- 10:09Dayna Roselli: He, you can tell, just loves working there and loves being in charge over there.
- 10:13Dayna Roselli: He was great mingling with the employees.
- 10:15Dayna Roselli: And then Ray, she just loves her job.
- 10:18Sean McAllister: She really does.
- 10:19Sean McAllister: Yeah.
- 10:19Sean McAllister: And so good.
- 10:20Sean McAllister: I mean, we saw her with her customers out on the patio there, and she is just such an array of sunshine.
- 10:28Dayna Roselli: She is.
- 10:28Dayna Roselli: And I love that she really credited like the people that she's met through the years and how a lot of the customers take care of each other, and she definitely enjoys the family atmosphere.
- 10:38Dayna Roselli: I mean, when you walk into Red Rock that day, especially, it was beautiful outside, even.
- 10:43Dayna Roselli: I'm like, this is where you get to work.
- 10:45Dayna Roselli: Like, there's flowers and palm trees, and you know, especially out there's fountains and beautiful patios, and then the inside is so nice.
- 10:53Dayna Roselli: It really is a great place, and people pack Red Rock.
- 10:56Dayna Roselli: They thought when Durango opened that it would take business away from Red Rock, right?
- 11:00Dayna Roselli: But it has not.
- 11:01Sean McAllister: It has not.
- 11:02Sean McAllister: No, it's uh, I think only boosted business at both of those properties.
- 11:06Dayna Roselli: Right.
- 11:07Dayna Roselli: So, um, yeah, the culinary festival sounds like it's gonna be a great time.
- 11:11Dayna Roselli: All the different restaurants from across stations.
- 11:13Dayna Roselli: Stations is celebrating 50 as well as a whole this summer, so I don't even know what's to come for that yet.
- 11:18Dayna Roselli: We're gonna find out.
- 11:19Sean McAllister: Yeah, I have a feeling that they uh, as a uh station group, have big plans for the big 50th celebration.
- 11:28Dayna Roselli: One thing at a time, right?
- 11:29Sean McAllister: One thing.
- 11:30Dayna Roselli: Um, and then journeyal rock out there on April 29th.
- 11:33Dayna Roselli: So that was fun going over there to catch up with everyone.
- 11:36Sean McAllister: Hard to believe though.
- 11:37Sean McAllister: I remember when Red Rock opened.
- 11:40Sean McAllister: And it's it's wild that that was 20 years ago.
- 11:43Dayna Roselli: It is.
- 11:44Dayna Roselli: But people always say as you get older and older, time passes quicker and quicker.
- 11:47Sean McAllister: Quicker and quicker, it does.
- 11:49Sean McAllister: There you go.
- 11:50Dayna Roselli: Well, out of nowhere, a new casino's opening.
- 11:53Dayna Roselli: Um, I guess I don't drive too much on this side of town, so I never really saw it in the works, and that's always like, wait, what?
- 11:59Dayna Roselli: Uh, but it's called Cadence Crossing, and we know people love their casino openings, and so if you want to be there the day it opens, um noon on Wednesday, March 25th is when it will open.
- 12:10Dayna Roselli: It's called Cadence Crossing.
- 12:12Dayna Roselli: Um, it's a Boyd gaming property, and they're having the official grand opening on the 25th.
- 12:18Dayna Roselli: Um, it's just a casino for now, not a hotel.
- 12:22Sean McAllister: Right.
- 12:22Dayna Roselli: And it's, I guess, gonna have entertainment too and stuff like that.
- 12:26Dayna Roselli: But um, it's a great spot for locals, and it's located on North Boulder Highway, right there in Henderson.
- 12:32Dayna Roselli: And you said it's attached to or adjacent to the Joker's Wild.
- 12:35Sean McAllister: Yeah, Joker's Wild is a little locals casino that's been there forever.
- 12:41Sean McAllister: Uh, and uh Boyd Gaming has built Cadence Crossing like right next door, yeah, essentially.
- 12:48Sean McAllister: So I believe that uh part of the plan is to have Cadence be the new casino and then possibly take over the land that Joker's Wild is on to build a hotel uh four-story hotel as part of a phase two coming on down the line at some point.
- 13:09Sean McAllister: But um, because I know Joker's Wild has been open during construction and they've been welcoming all their loyal uh visitors.
- 13:18Dayna Roselli: That's a great name for a casino.
- 13:19Dayna Roselli: I love it.
- 13:19Sean McAllister: Joker's Wild, and let me tell you, this is one of those places where you could go and play like uh 25 cent uh roulette.
- 13:26Dayna Roselli: Oh, I like that.
- 13:27Sean McAllister: So we would go and you would get 25 cent chips, right?
- 13:31Sean McAllister: You put down a 20 and you are sitting at that table feeling like a king.
- 13:35Sean McAllister: You have a stack of chips in front of you and you can play all night long.
- 13:38Dayna Roselli: Yeah, that's fun.
- 13:39Dayna Roselli: I think that's I mean, I just think that's how you do it.
- 13:42Dayna Roselli: Play long, have fun.
- 13:43Dayna Roselli: It is instead of like, I mean, I get it.
- 13:45Dayna Roselli: You're a lot of people just try and make boatloads of money, and but there's a fun aspect of it where you can just sit for a while, especially when you have 25 cent chips.
- 13:53Dayna Roselli: Yeah, and that can add up.
- 13:54Sean McAllister: It can add up.
- 13:55Dayna Roselli: Don't mock it till you try it.
- 13:57Sean McAllister: Well, exactly, because you know what?
- 13:59Sean McAllister: When you're sitting there and you can take a big stack and just I don't know, slide it onto red.
- 14:05Sean McAllister: And then when red hits, you're like, Well, I just doubled that stack.
- 14:10SPEAKER_04: It's a lot of it.
- 14:11SPEAKER_04: It's great.
- 14:12Sean McAllister: So excited for the future of uh Cadence Crossing over there on uh Boulder Highway.
- 14:18Sean McAllister: And um Yeah, I think that'll be a good addition.
- 14:22Dayna Roselli: Especially for folks that live in that part of town, uh coming up that way, all of it.
- 14:26Sean McAllister: Because there has been a lot of uh residential development over in that area too.
- 14:31Sean McAllister: So I think that's a an area that is that will be well served by this new casino.
- 14:37Dayna Roselli: That's good, that's good.
- 14:39Dayna Roselli: Hey, Resorts World's Conrad Tower uh announced an all-inclusive.
- 14:44Dayna Roselli: Um, it's the first luxury inclusive experience on the strip.
- 14:48Dayna Roselli: Uh, but you know, whenever there's like things like this, we're gonna tell you what in how a little bit how it works, but it's intricate and you need to do the research on your own and call over and book and all that.
- 15:01Dayna Roselli: Um, just because I always worry about if I mention one little way you're supposed to do it wrong that people are gonna come calling.
- 15:08Dayna Roselli: But um, because it's an add-on.
- 15:10Dayna Roselli: So it's not so you book your room and then this all-inclusive is an add-on.
- 15:15Dayna Roselli: Um, it's for stays in the Conrad Tower, which it's a great tower, beautiful rooms, by the way.
- 15:21Dayna Roselli: Um, but and it's available now uh uh for stays beginning May 26th.
- 15:28Dayna Roselli: So you book now for stays May 26th and on.
- 15:33Dayna Roselli: I don't know exactly for how long, but Sean, let's roll out when you get the add-on what it includes.
- 15:39Sean McAllister: Yeah, and uh just first off, this add-on is$150 per guest per night, and there is a two-guest minimum to take advantage of this.
- 15:50Sean McAllister: So for that$150 per day per night, you get complimentary valet service for the duration of your stay, which is which is not on its own.
- 16:02Sean McAllister: Yeah, that's true.
- 16:03Sean McAllister: It really is.
- 16:04Dayna Roselli: Once you had an tip and you I don't know, no, not really that much, but you know what I'm saying.
- 16:08Dayna Roselli: Being sarcastic.
- 16:10Sean McAllister: So you get that valet service at the Conrad Tower, you get exclusive access to Club 66, which is a really nice uh bar lounge area on the 66th floor.
- 16:26Sean McAllister: It's gorgeous views up there.
- 16:27Dayna Roselli: Right.
- 16:28Dayna Roselli: It really is.
- 16:28Dayna Roselli: Uh the panoramic views are great.
- 16:30Dayna Roselli: It features Delhi Continental breakfast and an evening social hour, too, with handcrafted cocktails.
- 16:37Dayna Roselli: Then you get a curated prefix dining experience at uh five signature restaurants across the resort, and some good ones on the list there, and then priority early access to the newly renovated 5.5 acre pool complex paired with hosted beverages.
- 16:56Dayna Roselli: You get complimentary entry into Zook Nightclub during days of operation.
- 17:01Dayna Roselli: And like you mentioned, Sean, it's$150 per guest per night, two guest minimum minimum, but it's an add-on to your room.
- 17:08Dayna Roselli: So you're paying for the room separate.
- 17:12Dayna Roselli: That's why I say the instructions.
- 17:13Dayna Roselli: Don't come calling me.
- 17:14Dayna Roselli: Roselli said the room was included.
- 17:16Dayna Roselli: Like, no, that's separate, but still, call, make sure it's all sorted out.
- 17:20Sean McAllister: Yes, the all-inclusive add-on.
- 17:22Sean McAllister: Um, but I mean, that's a lot, those are some good perks.
- 17:26Dayna Roselli: Yeah, I think it's a really great deal.
- 17:29Dayna Roselli: I I do like especially.
- 17:31Dayna Roselli: I mean, it the great thing about the these well, this is a great idea because it keeps people on property as well.
- 17:37Dayna Roselli: You know what I mean?
- 17:37Dayna Roselli: And because there is so much to do at the property itself.
- 17:40Dayna Roselli: This is great for a weekend, a weekday, getaway.
- 17:43Dayna Roselli: A lot of folks who drive in from Arizona, from Utah, from California.
- 17:47Dayna Roselli: I mean, why not?
- 17:48Sean McAllister: Well, and that's the thing.
- 17:49Sean McAllister: When you sometimes when you go and and stay at any given uh resort, especially if it's at a a destination where there's a lot of stuff going on all over the place, you don't uh necessarily take advantage of everything that's right there at your fingertips.
- 18:07Sean McAllister: Right.
- 18:08Sean McAllister: And this is a good way uh to incentivize guests to do just that.
- 18:13Dayna Roselli: I know.
- 18:13Dayna Roselli: It's actually really smart because then they go and they talk about it.
- 18:16unknown: Yeah.
- 18:16Dayna Roselli: And they tell people.
- 18:18Dayna Roselli: I went to this restaurant, I loved it.
- 18:19Dayna Roselli: Oh my gosh, the pool was so nice.
- 18:21Dayna Roselli: It gives people great experience.
- 18:23Dayna Roselli: So anyway, uh wanted to put that out there because I do think a lot of our listeners will like to take advantage of this.
- 18:29Dayna Roselli: It's called the Conrad Complete at Resorts World, and this is for the Conrad Tower.
- 18:35Dayna Roselli: Okay.
- 18:36Dayna Roselli: Good deal.
- 18:37Dayna Roselli: All right, I wanted to mention this, Sean.
- 18:39Dayna Roselli: In downtown Las Vegas, the other night I was walking by Ada's, and I'm like, wait a minute.
- 18:46Dayna Roselli: Hold on, because we did the story that Ada's was moving from Tivoli Village to the arts district, but I didn't know exactly where it was going.
- 18:54Dayna Roselli: I was walking by the old Esther's kitchen, and me and my friend were like, oh, it looks like a vibe in there, like dim lights, and it was full, and people were at the and I was like, what is it?
- 19:02Dayna Roselli: And I got closer and it was Ada's, so that's where the new Ada's is, and this is a James Trees restaurant, right?
- 19:09Sean McAllister: So you know it's good, and known for its wine, right?
- 19:12Dayna Roselli: Um, so they're doing a uh wine club.
- 19:15Dayna Roselli: I said I would mention this, and I thought it was really cool.
- 19:18Dayna Roselli: It's uh there are two membership tiers offered and uh available at 120 per month.
- 19:24Dayna Roselli: You pay monthly.
- 19:25Dayna Roselli: Um, the publicist who was telling me about this said that she thought it was really cool because they pick up for the wine club on Friday afternoons, and there's a tasting and also a bottle sharing opportunity.
- 19:36Dayna Roselli: So people have like become friends, made new friends, formed a new community.
- 19:41Dayna Roselli: And so I thought that was really cool.
- 19:43Dayna Roselli: And I thought maybe some of our listeners would be interested.
- 19:45Dayna Roselli: I know we have a lot of people that are so into wine and know their wines, and Ada's gets a lot of awards for you know being really, really good at knowing their wines and having offerings.
- 19:55Sean McAllister: Oh, for sure.
- 19:56Sean McAllister: And so you know that the three bottles that you're getting every month are going to be well worth the monthly membership price.
- 20:05Sean McAllister: And getting three bottles, like that's a that's a pretty good deal, yeah, to be honest.
- 20:10Sean McAllister: And I love that um Kat Thomas is the uh advanced sommelier at Ada's, and they call her the wine goddess.
- 20:17Dayna Roselli: Oh, I love that.
- 20:18Sean McAllister: So just know that when you sign up to be a member of the wine club at Ada's, the wine goddess is curating your selections.
- 20:28Dayna Roselli: I love that.
- 20:28Dayna Roselli: The cat's meow they call it cat's meow, yes.
- 20:32Sean McAllister: I love it.
- 20:32Dayna Roselli: So uh it gets a little bit more intricate again in this release of all the different offering.
- 20:36Dayna Roselli: And so obviously, um, I'm glancing at something, says one of them that you get three to four bottles a month is 120.
- 20:43Dayna Roselli: But call for more information, stop by Ada's for more information, look it up online yourself.
- 20:48Dayna Roselli: But if you're interested in being part of this wine club, it could be a nice uh thing for you to also have like a social experience and meet new people.
- 20:55Sean McAllister: Right.
- 20:56Sean McAllister: And I I think I would suggest stopping by for more information.
- 21:00Sean McAllister: Right, yeah, because then you can sit down and get more information over a glass of wine.
- 21:04Dayna Roselli: Exactly.
- 21:05Dayna Roselli: There you have it.
- 21:06Dayna Roselli: It was nice.
- 21:09Dayna Roselli: I need to go there and try it.
- 21:10Dayna Roselli: So I quickly want to mention my jaunt downtown.
- 21:12Sean McAllister: Yeah, well, I was gonna say I'm curious about this because uh you said the vibe was just cracking.
- 21:19Dayna Roselli: It was so Saturday I was working a lot from home.
- 21:22Dayna Roselli: We had a lot of editing to do.
- 21:23Dayna Roselli: I lay by the pool for a little.
- 21:25Dayna Roselli: Um, and later my friend was like, Wanna go for a walk and get a coffee?
- 21:28Dayna Roselli: And I was like, you know what?
- 21:29Dayna Roselli: I need to wash my hair and put makeup on.
- 21:31Dayna Roselli: Like, I have done nothing this entire week.
- 21:34Dayna Roselli: I don't care if we walk, go to one spot.
- 21:37Dayna Roselli: Like, I need to pull myself together.
- 21:42Dayna Roselli: So she was like, okay.
- 21:44Dayna Roselli: I was like, why don't we go to Main Street in the arts district?
- 21:47Dayna Roselli: That way we can park, we can walk around, but we can also pop in, get a bite somewhere, whatever we want to do.
- 21:53Dayna Roselli: Um, so uh she was like, sounds great.
- 21:56Dayna Roselli: So I was like, it was the reason for me to wash my hair.
- 22:00Dayna Roselli: And put makeup on.
- 22:01Sean McAllister: And see people.
- 22:02Dayna Roselli: Because yeah, because she she was even texting me, like, so are we putting sneak like sneakers on walking?
- 22:06Dayna Roselli: I'm like, no, I need to not put sneakers on for once this week.
- 22:09Dayna Roselli: I need to take my sneakers off.
- 22:12Dayna Roselli: I want no sneakers.
- 22:14Sean McAllister: Get a heel going.
- 22:15Sean McAllister: I need it, yeah.
- 22:16Dayna Roselli: I need to put some like bigger hoop earrings in, something.
- 22:22Sean McAllister: And it's a good thing you did?
- 22:23Sean McAllister: Yeah.
- 22:24Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 22:24Dayna Roselli: So anyway, we had a nice time.
- 22:26Dayna Roselli: Um, we went down there, but it was packed.
- 22:27Dayna Roselli: I was just noting, and it was so funny, I saw an influencer just post this literally the day after I went.
- 22:33Dayna Roselli: Like, if anyone says Vegas is dead, go to the arts district because it's crazy.
- 22:37Dayna Roselli: But Main Street in the arts district, uh, with all the brewery row and everything going on there.
- 22:42Dayna Roselli: First of all, there's always new stuff popping up.
- 22:44Dayna Roselli: I'm like, when did that open?
- 22:45Dayna Roselli: When did that open?
- 22:46Dayna Roselli: But it was packed, like as in, like, not like crazy jammed, like you couldn't walk around, like uncomfortable packed, but lines to get into place, people waiting for tables, patios full, doors open with some live music playing.
- 23:00Dayna Roselli: People were out for St.
- 23:01Dayna Roselli: Patrick's Day.
- 23:02Dayna Roselli: I mean, and they have everything from, you know, great Mexican restaurant to cool breweries to some, you know, barbecue spots to wine bars, French, Esther's Kitchen, shopping, lots of little um, you know, antique shops and also clothing stores.
- 23:20Dayna Roselli: And then we actually went for ice cream after because we were like, oh, I could use a little something else.
- 23:25Dayna Roselli: And there was this ice cream shop that looked super cute that people kept going in and out of.
- 23:28Dayna Roselli: I'm I gotta try this ice cream.
- 23:30Dayna Roselli: I never treat myself to ice cream.
- 23:31Dayna Roselli: So I got a cone with chocolate chip ice cream.
- 23:34Dayna Roselli: Um, she had like a mint chocolate chip cup.
- 23:36Dayna Roselli: It was a cute little retro um ice cream shop, but like everything was kind of like, I don't know, just vintagey in it.
- 23:44Dayna Roselli: Uh, you know the seats that have the cushion that are like they have the sparkly neon colors.
- 23:49Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 23:49Sean McAllister: Like the vinyl.
- 23:50Dayna Roselli: Right.
- 23:51Dayna Roselli: And I'm trying to think of the main.
- 23:52Dayna Roselli: I think it's cream me.
- 23:53Dayna Roselli: Cream.
- 23:54Dayna Roselli: I feel bad now that I don't know this ahead of time.
- 23:56Dayna Roselli: Yep, cream me ice creamery is what it's called.
- 23:59Dayna Roselli: Uh, the funnest and most fabulous ice cream shop in Las Vegas.
- 24:02Dayna Roselli: The ice cream was really good.
- 24:04Dayna Roselli: The girls behind the counter were nice.
- 24:06Dayna Roselli: We even had a coffee.
- 24:08Dayna Roselli: Um, but went to Main Street Provisions, um, just got a little something.
- 24:12Dayna Roselli: We had Buffalo cauliflower.
- 24:14Dayna Roselli: It was cauliflower in Buffalo.
- 24:16Sean McAllister: Oh, so I've been meaning to stop into Main Street Provisions for so long.
- 24:19Sean McAllister: And I I I have never been, and I feel like I need to change that.
- 24:25Dayna Roselli: Right.
- 24:25Dayna Roselli: I hadn't been either.
- 24:26Dayna Roselli: We got a Caesar salad and they use like rye croutons.
- 24:29Dayna Roselli: It was delicious.
- 24:30Dayna Roselli: Really?
- 24:30Dayna Roselli: Yes, it was very tasty.
- 24:32Dayna Roselli: Our server was amazing.
- 24:34Dayna Roselli: I had one glass of wine.
- 24:35Dayna Roselli: She helped me pick that out.
- 24:37Dayna Roselli: Um, and you know, affordable.
- 24:40Dayna Roselli: I felt like we got, let's see.
- 24:43Dayna Roselli: Well, we didn't get much, but we got a Caesar salad to split.
- 24:46Dayna Roselli: We got the Buffalo cauliflower and one glass of wine.
- 24:49Dayna Roselli: My glass of wine was$15, and it came out to$50 on the dot.
- 24:54Dayna Roselli: So that wasn't that bad.
- 24:56Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 24:56Dayna Roselli: And we were there for a little while, so it was good.
- 24:58Sean McAllister: It's the cost of one cocktail on the strip.
- 25:00Dayna Roselli: It's true.
- 25:01Sean McAllister: That's true.
- 25:02Dayna Roselli: And then we got ice cream.
- 25:04Dayna Roselli: Um, but anyway, I was happy to see it.
- 25:06Dayna Roselli: People out walking, just what a vibrant they need more parking.
- 25:10Dayna Roselli: I know that's been a huge issue.
- 25:11Dayna Roselli: And with all the construction going on, I was looking at the apartments that are going up there, and I'm like, it's literally right there on Main Street.
- 25:17Dayna Roselli: This is gonna be so popular for people to live and just be able to walk down to Main Street.
- 25:22Dayna Roselli: Huge.
- 25:22Dayna Roselli: It's gonna be huge for the area.
- 25:24Dayna Roselli: And I think there's gonna be a lot of people that want to live there.
- 25:26Dayna Roselli: If I bet you anything, they have people securing spots already.
- 25:30Sean McAllister: Oh, there's gotta be a wait list.
- 25:31Dayna Roselli: Is that Midtown?
- 25:32Dayna Roselli: Is that what it's called?
- 25:33Dayna Roselli: I believe so.
- 25:33Dayna Roselli: I don't know if that's the right one, but um it's just a great spot.
- 25:37Dayna Roselli: So if you've never been, if you're visiting Las Vegas, you go to the strip, you go to Fremont, maybe you want to pop down to our main street.
- 25:43Dayna Roselli: I think you'll really enjoy it.
- 25:44Sean McAllister: Yeah, and you know what I love uh when I hear just how busy it was when you were down there, Dana, the thing that like immediately pops into my head is that uh most of the places, if not all of the places in the Ars district are owned by uh local Las Vegas business owners.
- 26:02Sean McAllister: Right.
- 26:02Sean McAllister: So you're helping the Las Vegas business community, and it's not like big corporate entities that uh may not even have headquarters here.
- 26:12Dayna Roselli: Right.
- 26:14Sean McAllister: No, it's so that excites me that l local Las Vegans are are uh seeing the fruits of of what they've put into creating a cool spot in downtown Las Vegas.
- 26:27Dayna Roselli: And you can tell they're usually the ones there on Saturday nights, you know, they know it's busy and or they're standing at the door or chit-chatting or behind the counter and you actually see the owners.
- 26:36Dayna Roselli: You see them, and I know the Main Street Provisions owner, she was definitely there.
- 26:40Dayna Roselli: Um, or she's uh she's either GM or owner, I think she's the owner.
- 26:43Dayna Roselli: Um, but yeah, it it was great.
- 26:46Dayna Roselli: Um, I think there was like a line to get into like good pie.
- 26:49Dayna Roselli: Uh there were lines to get into a lot of pie is great.
- 26:51Dayna Roselli: Yeah, a lot of places.
- 26:53Dayna Roselli: So it was busy and hopping.
- 26:55Sean McAllister: Good.
- 26:55Dayna Roselli: Yeah, I really love to see it.
- 26:57Dayna Roselli: Um, what was the other thing I was gonna mention?
- 27:00Dayna Roselli: Oh, if you go down there and you do the paid parking, I know we've mentioned it before.
- 27:03Dayna Roselli: Well, you have to do the paid parking if you park along the street.
- 27:06Dayna Roselli: Just remember you can have it text you at the end, and if you choose that, it will text you about 20 minutes out, maybe 15 minutes out, saying your parking's about to expire.
- 27:16Dayna Roselli: And then you can add on time so that you're not stressed to think I need to walk back to my car.
- 27:20Sean McAllister: It's oh, just right through the text message.
- 27:22Sean McAllister: Right through the text message.
- 27:23Sean McAllister: Oh, that's good.
- 27:24Dayna Roselli: So, like, say you're just finishing up and you're like, oh, we're probably gonna be here until 9:30 instead of nine.
- 27:29Dayna Roselli: You just add, add right there.
- 27:31Dayna Roselli: It's nice and easy and do it because let me tell you, they were given tick a lot of tickets out.
- 27:36Sean McAllister: Oh, I bet.
- 27:36Dayna Roselli: There were tickets next to us.
- 27:38Dayna Roselli: I saw the ticket guy walking up and down the street.
- 27:40Dayna Roselli: So you do need to, that's a great tip, actually.
- 27:43Dayna Roselli: You do need to pay for parking and you do need to leave in your allotted time or add.
- 27:49Dayna Roselli: So the best option is to just have it text you.
- 27:52Dayna Roselli: And it's not an app that you need.
- 27:54Dayna Roselli: You just when you're checking out on your on the meter thing, you pay your three dollars and ninety-five cents for two hours.
- 28:01Dayna Roselli: When it says receipt printed, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
- 28:05Dayna Roselli: One of the options is text.
- 28:07Dayna Roselli: Text, put your number in, and you'll just get a text, and then you will get an updated text when you're about to run out.
- 28:12Sean McAllister: That's really nice.
- 28:12Dayna Roselli: I always get I don't like downloading the apps.
- 28:15Sean McAllister: Yeah, I've gotten lots of tickets downtown.
- 28:17Dayna Roselli: I know.
- 28:17Dayna Roselli: So you gotta do the text stuff.
- 28:19Dayna Roselli: I do need to.
- 28:20Dayna Roselli: It'll add it, it'll add it on.
- 28:21Dayna Roselli: And he was, yeah, he was out there giving out tickets everywhere.
- 28:24Dayna Roselli: Um, March Madness is coming.
- 28:26Dayna Roselli: Oh, and I was gonna mention, sorry, one more thing.
- 28:28Dayna Roselli: I did try to go to Esther's on a whim and we couldn't get in, by the way.
- 28:31Sean McAllister: It was that pack.
- 28:32Dayna Roselli: That pack.
- 28:33Dayna Roselli: They said two hour wait.
- 28:34Sean McAllister: Oh my gosh.
- 28:35Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 28:35Dayna Roselli: So we were gonna, you know, and I've gone there many times and I always make reservations, but yeah, you can't just walk in on a Saturday night.
- 28:42Sean McAllister: Sometimes that's I mean, that makes me so happy to hear.
- 28:45Dayna Roselli: It's great.
- 28:46Sean McAllister: Great.
- 28:46Dayna Roselli: Um, March Madness.
- 28:47Dayna Roselli: This is up your alley.
- 28:48Dayna Roselli: So you you're planning, I'm sure, on um heading out for March Madness.
- 28:53Dayna Roselli: Coming up, well, let's see.
- 28:55Dayna Roselli: This is dropping on Thursday.
- 28:57Dayna Roselli: This weekend.
- 28:58Sean McAllister: Thursday, yeah.
- 28:58Sean McAllister: I mean, games are games are on.
- 29:01Sean McAllister: Uh Thursday, Friday, Saturday, opening round of uh the official tournament.
- 29:06Sean McAllister: There's a bunch of play-in games that happen uh leading up, but the um the conference uh championships are done, the brackets in full swing.
- 29:16Sean McAllister: The brackets came out uh earlier this week.
- 29:21Sean McAllister: And I mean you can fill out your bracket now and w hope your favorite team makes it all the way.
- 29:29Sean McAllister: And it's just these first few days are just so exciting though, because even over the 19th and 20th, uh there's gonna be like 32 games that are played across those two days, just those two days, and then you add in all the other days, and there's so many games, but it's just so fun to watch because there's multiple games happening at the same time.
- 29:52Sean McAllister: If you're at a place where there's a lot of fans watching, you have people cheering for different things, cheering or groaning or booing um based on things that are happening in the different games, and it's just so fun to watch.
- 30:05Dayna Roselli: Yeah, it's it looks fun.
- 30:07Dayna Roselli: I've never done it, but I mean I have, but I haven't done in like you know, pay and go go to one of the events, right?
- 30:13Dayna Roselli: You know, in the theaters or the Westgate or anything like that.
- 30:17Dayna Roselli: Um, but it looks fun.
- 30:18Dayna Roselli: I've definitely watched college basketball games with people at like a sports bar or something like that.
- 30:22Dayna Roselli: But we have a lot of ticketed things and they look like they're a blast.
- 30:26Sean McAllister: They are, and it I mean, I think it's worth it.
- 30:28Sean McAllister: Yeah, you get a lot, you get a lot, and even if you go to if you go to uh just about any tavern sports bar uh anywhere in Las Vegas, the games are gonna be on.
- 30:41SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
- 30:41Sean McAllister: A lot just about every property in Las Vegas has something going on for March Madness.
- 30:48Sean McAllister: So uh cheers to uh your team going all the way.
- 30:53Dayna Roselli: Well, we talked about pools in the past, but I wanted to just switch gears and let everyone know most of our pools are open here in Las Vegas.
- 30:59Dayna Roselli: Uh, I think like maybe the horseshoe one isn't open yet.
- 31:03Dayna Roselli: But most all of our pools are open here in Las Vegas because it's basically summer and it's hot.
- 31:10Dayna Roselli: And I feel like around this time by now, we usually open them anyway, but they did open like a couple of them or a few of them a little bit earlier than normal.
- 31:18Dayna Roselli: And we talked about that.
- 31:19Dayna Roselli: Um, just wanted to update on the Omnia Day Club that's opening.
- 31:23Dayna Roselli: People have asked, like, when is it opening?
- 31:25Dayna Roselli: We don't know for sure.
- 31:26Dayna Roselli: It says summer 2026.
- 31:28Dayna Roselli: I did see someone mention May, and I also saw them having a hiring event coming up.
- 31:35Dayna Roselli: So they're just hiring now.
- 31:37Dayna Roselli: Um, so we don't have a specific date, but it's supposed to be open, you know, relatively soon by summer or in summer.
- 31:44Sean McAllister: Right.
- 31:44Sean McAllister: And Omnia Day Club is being built uh right in front of Caesars Palace, kind of right next door to Hell's Kitchen, right there along Las Vegas Boulevard.
- 31:56Sean McAllister: Um, so you can't miss it if you're walking down the strip or driving down the strip.
- 32:00Sean McAllister: Omnia Day Club and Nightclub is gonna be right there.
- 32:04Dayna Roselli: Yeah, I'm glad that they have the bridge over to Omni and Nightclub and then into Caesars.
- 32:08Dayna Roselli: That'll help with people just spilling out onto the road.
- 32:10Sean McAllister: And what is it, the sky bar?
- 32:12Sean McAllister: Yeah.
- 32:12Sean McAllister: That's part of it.
- 32:13Sean McAllister: Yeah, and that'll be nice at night.
- 32:14Sean McAllister: Skybar.
- 32:15Dayna Roselli: Beautiful view of the strip.
- 32:16Dayna Roselli: It looks really, really nice.
- 32:17Dayna Roselli: I'm excited for it to open for everyone.
- 32:19Dayna Roselli: Um, Virgin Hotels just reminded us that Cassie Beach Club is opening on March 27th.
- 32:25Dayna Roselli: Um, if you've never been, it's like a really nice Mediterranean-inspired pool.
- 32:30Dayna Roselli: It's like beach beachy with sand and everything like that.
- 32:33Dayna Roselli: Uh 21 and over.
- 32:34Dayna Roselli: They have DJs, cocktails, all sorts of stuff there.
- 32:37Dayna Roselli: Um, and Cassie Beach House is the restaurant right attached to it, which is wonderful as well.
- 32:43Dayna Roselli: But they did want to remind everyone um their five-acre pool oasis there is opening on March 24th for um and for locals and visitors.
- 32:52Dayna Roselli: So they wanted to remind uh uh everyone that listens locally here in Las Vegas that they do some local friendly pricing,$20 day passes, free parking, and weekday cabanas starting at$75 Sunday through Thursday with no food and beverage minimum.
- 33:09Dayna Roselli: That's nice.
- 33:10Dayna Roselli: So yeah, so it it's a great area and it's relaxed but fun.
- 33:15Dayna Roselli: It's got a little bit of both.
- 33:16Dayna Roselli: I wouldn't say it's as as chill as maybe the palms is on some certain days, but it's it's up there because it's like a Mediterranean kind of chill vibe, but the DJs are are there and it's a fun experience.
- 33:30Sean McAllister: It's a it's laid back.
- 33:31Sean McAllister: Yeah.
- 33:32Sean McAllister: Not necessarily chill, but it's a laid back, fun vibe.
- 33:35Sean McAllister: Right.
- 33:36Sean McAllister: Yeah.
- 33:36Dayna Roselli: Exactly.
- 33:37Dayna Roselli: So FYI on that, and I think that's it.
- 33:40Dayna Roselli: We got to get to some celebrity celebrity news because we got a lot to talk about coming up.
- 33:45Sean McAllister: All right, well, let's get to it.
- 33:46Sean McAllister: Celebrity news with a Vegas twist.
- 33:51Dayna Roselli: All right, let's talk about a new TV series coming out on Apple, um, which of course, you know, we always love to let everyone know when things are filmed in Las Vegas.
- 34:01Dayna Roselli: It's called Margot's Got Money Troubles.
- 34:04Dayna Roselli: A lot of people have been talking about it.
- 34:06Dayna Roselli: Apparently, the early previews um have critics giving it really high scores on Rotten Tomatoes.
- 34:13SPEAKER_04: Ooh.
- 34:14Dayna Roselli: Which is really good.
- 34:15Dayna Roselli: Apparently 100% so far.
- 34:17Dayna Roselli: So everyone's like, ooh, it's a comedy drama.
- 34:20Dayna Roselli: Um, and it's created by David E.
- 34:22Dayna Roselli: Kelly, who does fabulous things.
- 34:24Dayna Roselli: Um, it's based on a 2024 novel, and it stars L.
- 34:29Dayna Roselli: Fanning, Nick Offerman, Greg Kinnear, Michelle Pfeiffer, Nicole Kidman, a whole cast of great people.
- 34:36Dayna Roselli: And it premieres April 15th.
- 34:38Sean McAllister: That's a huge cast.
- 34:40Sean McAllister: Oh my gosh.
- 34:41Sean McAllister: Uh, so production uh apparently was going on here in Las Vegas in summer of 2025.
- 34:48Sean McAllister: So last summer they filmed here.
- 34:50Sean McAllister: The series is now uh coming out mid-April with extensive filming across Las Vegas on Fremont Street, the Graceland Wedding Chapel, you might see in there, along with other local locations.
