- 0:00Speaker 1: Nobody, and I do mean nobody does it like your
- 0:03Speaker 1: early morning phraise party. I am Sherry Mackie. And it's
- 0:07Speaker 1: time right now four Today's word. When God says it's
- 0:13Speaker 1: time to release. When God says it's time to release,
- 0:20Speaker 1: Ruth one fourteen and sixteen says. Then Orpah kissed her
- 0:25Speaker 1: mother in law goodbye, but Ruth clung to her. Ruth replied,
- 0:30Speaker 1: don't urge me to leave you or to turn back
- 0:32Speaker 1: from you. Where you go, I'll go, where you stay,
- 0:36Speaker 1: I'll stay. Your people will be my people, and your
- 0:40Speaker 1: God my god. You know, life brings seasons of deep connection,
- 0:47Speaker 1: you know, friendships, partnerships, relationships that feel like they're gonna
- 0:53Speaker 1: last forever, and then unexpectedly, a shift happens. What once
- 1:01Speaker 1: felt like permanent suddenly becomes temporary. The same people who
- 1:07Speaker 1: walk with us in laughter, who held us through tears,
- 1:10Speaker 1: may no longer be meant to continue with us into
- 1:13Speaker 1: the next chapter of our lives. This is exactly where Naomi, Ruth,
- 1:20Speaker 1: and Orpah found themselves. Y'all. All three women experienced heartbreak
- 1:25Speaker 1: and loss. They were bound together by grief, by love,
- 1:30Speaker 1: and by shared memories. But when Naomi decided to return
- 1:35Speaker 1: home and urge her daughters in law to go back
- 1:38Speaker 1: to their own families. Each woman responded differently. Na Orpah,
- 1:45Speaker 1: she kids Naomi goodbye, like, all right, then take care.
- 1:50Speaker 1: Now you gotta realize Naomi painted a really grim picture
- 1:56Speaker 1: of her future, and Orpah chose to go back to
- 2:01Speaker 1: her family. Y'all, that wasn't betrayal orpen didn't betrayed Naomi.
- 2:06Speaker 1: It wasn't failure on Orpu's part. It was simply closure.
- 2:11Speaker 1: Her part in that story had come to an end. Ah,
- 2:15Speaker 1: but Ruth, Ruth had clunged to Naomi, no matter the uncertainty,
- 2:21Speaker 1: no matter the cost, she chose to stay. She chose
- 2:26Speaker 1: covenant over comfort, faith over familiar arity. So here's the truth.
- 2:32Speaker 1: Some people are assigned to your past, others to your destiny,
- 2:36Speaker 1: and wisdom is knowing the difference. If someone wants to
- 2:41Speaker 1: leave your life, don't you dare force them to stay.
- 2:44Speaker 1: You can pour out love, you can pour out support, encouragement,
- 2:48Speaker 1: and even loyalty. But if God is closing the door,
- 2:51Speaker 1: no amount of effort will keep it open. Sometimes the
- 2:54Speaker 1: greatest act of faith is simply letting go. Not every
- 2:59Speaker 1: goodbye rejection. Sometimes goodbye is just a redirection by God. See,
- 3:05Speaker 1: he loves you too much to let the wrong people
- 3:07Speaker 1: stay attached to your future. He knows the voices, he
- 3:11Speaker 1: knows the relationships, he knows the support that you need
- 3:15Speaker 1: with where you're going. But just like he brought Ruth
- 3:18Speaker 1: into a divine connection that eventually positioned her in the
- 3:21Speaker 1: lineage of Jesus, God is leading you toward divine purpose too.
- 3:26Speaker 1: So today, take the pressure off. Release what God says
- 3:30Speaker 1: is finished. Trust him in the transition. Believe that if
- 3:33Speaker 1: he allowed somebody to walk away, oh, it's because he's
- 3:37Speaker 1: preparing somebody better to walk in. Your story doesn't end
- 3:41Speaker 1: with who's left. God is sending who's next. Come on, Jesus,
- 3:47Speaker 1: oh Father, thank you for being the God who gods
- 3:50Speaker 1: our relationships and our steps. Give us peace to release
- 3:53Speaker 1: what no longer serves our purpose and faith to trust
- 3:57Speaker 1: you when connectionshift. Help us to deserve those who are
- 4:00Speaker 1: as signed to our destiny, and to walk confidently into
- 4:04Speaker 1: every new season you plan for us in Jesus' name.
- 4:07Speaker 1: That's your word for today. Take it applied to your
- 4:10Speaker 1: everyday life, and you continue to be encouraged and inspired.
- 4:12Speaker 1: It's your early morning Praise Party. I am Sherry Nacky
