- 0:02Speaker 1: Due to the resign nature of his president listener discretion,
- 0:07Speaker 1: is it lies the Woody Show.
- 0:23Speaker 2: This is the Woody Show. Insensitivity Training class is now
- 0:39Speaker 2: in session.
- 0:44Speaker 1: Well, good morning everybody. Yeah, and welcome to your Friday
- 0:49Speaker 1: morning Woody Show. We made it to Friday, which rules.
- 0:51Speaker 1: It's been a fun week, but it's been a long week.
- 0:53Speaker 3: It's been a crazy week.
- 0:55Speaker 1: Yeah, and it's Gregory Menace, Hi, Gina, Yeah, Seabas High
- 1:00Speaker 1: and Sammy's here as well. I got your usual Friday
- 1:03Speaker 1: stuff coming up the d U. I Q some Friday
- 1:05Speaker 1: fail stories. I believe we have dougod news today that goes.
- 1:11Speaker 1: But let's get into it Friday morning. Let's go. Okay,
- 1:19Speaker 1: now that it's officially Friday, I want to tell you
- 1:22Speaker 1: guys that I should be stoked, but I'm mother effing
- 1:25Speaker 1: pissed off. Why because I got in the mail last
- 1:30Speaker 1: night a jury summit. I'm super super pissed a holiday week.
- 1:38Speaker 1: I believe it's for a week that we might have
- 1:40Speaker 1: scheduled off. I'm not sure. I gotta check the date.
- 1:43Speaker 1: It's for Van Eyes. I don't want to go. They
- 1:47Speaker 1: make these jury summons so complicated. I'm trying to figure
- 1:49Speaker 1: out if I can request an extension or should I
- 1:54Speaker 1: not be a hypocrite? And should I practice what I preach?
- 1:58Speaker 1: And should I just throw it away? I heard I
- 2:01Speaker 1: conferred with chat GPT. Yeah, and I asked, what will
- 2:04Speaker 1: happen if I throw away a jury summons that I received?
- 2:06Speaker 1: And it says nothing happens immediately?
- 2:09Speaker 4: Really?
- 2:11Speaker 1: Yeah, missing the first summons doesn't usually trigger an arrest
- 2:14Speaker 1: or fine on its own. You might get a second
- 2:17Speaker 1: notice stating that you fail to respond. All right, Yeah, Now,
- 2:21Speaker 1: if you continue to ignore the notices, the court can
- 2:23Speaker 1: send a failure to appear notice and eventually issue an
- 2:26Speaker 1: order requiring you why to explain why you shouldn't be
- 2:31Speaker 1: part of jury duty. Should I take that risk? You
- 2:34Speaker 1: can face fines.
- 2:35Speaker 3: I feel like they could mess with your license too.
- 2:37Speaker 1: Okay, Well, here's what I'll say, because with my luck,
- 2:39Speaker 1: I'll be the dude that actually goes to jail.
- 2:41Speaker 5: True, but I had jury duty and I extended it
- 2:45Speaker 5: and then I forgot yeah, and just nothing happened. I
- 2:50Speaker 5: haven't heard from them. It has been probably eight months.
- 2:53Speaker 5: All of a sudden, I was like, oh, wait, wasn't
- 2:55Speaker 5: I supposed to do jury duty? I never called I
- 2:58Speaker 5: never nothing. I haven't heard to anything. I'm not saying
- 3:01Speaker 5: I recommend it. Mine was an accident, but nothing happen.
- 3:04Speaker 3: If I think it's kind of the luck of the draw.
- 3:08Speaker 3: My guess is that, like what he has said many times,
- 3:11Speaker 3: knowing what we do for a living, we don't make
- 3:13Speaker 3: great jurors.
- 3:14Speaker 1: Yeah, but they don't care about that.
- 3:16Speaker 4: This is not this is not the part. That's not
- 3:18Speaker 4: the step rat.
- 3:19Speaker 1: Right, Yeah, we're not.
- 3:23Speaker 3: And you will get dismissed.
- 3:25Speaker 4: Well, he's already sitting there, he's already.
- 3:27Speaker 3: Just just do it, jump in and then you'll just
- 3:30Speaker 3: get dismissed and that'll be that.
- 3:31Speaker 4: Now I have a question for you. So, yeah, do
- 3:33Speaker 4: you love America?
- 3:34Speaker 1: Of course I do it like it. I used to
- 3:37Speaker 1: want to be honest.
- 3:37Speaker 6: This is part of your civic duty as an American.
- 3:40Speaker 6: But if you want to be a communist, I'm sure
- 3:43Speaker 6: they're welcome you.
- 3:47Speaker 3: Jury trials are mad boring, So it's not like you're
- 3:50Speaker 3: going to get some like amazing true crime documentary in
- 3:53Speaker 3: the making. But yes, something tells me, if you just
- 3:56Speaker 3: do it, you first of all, you just call every day,
- 3:58Speaker 3: and the last you won't lost.
- 4:00Speaker 1: Oh my, got it, they said don't even come in
- 4:01Speaker 1: so American.
- 4:03Speaker 7: Greg.
- 4:03Speaker 6: Oh, I know, I hat and watch it's going to
- 4:07Speaker 6: have to do something with HG TV and they miss out.
- 4:12Speaker 4: TV Van I allright.
- 4:16Speaker 1: Respond.
- 4:17Speaker 4: Recently, there was a study done by CBS News last
- 4:20Speaker 4: year and they dug into this data and they they
- 4:24Speaker 4: said that four out of five for the county faced
- 4:27Speaker 4: no punishment. Okay, but that does mean that twenty percent did. Yes,
- 4:32Speaker 4: some finds as high as one thousand dollars.
- 4:34Speaker 3: And sometimes the punishment is just not being able to
- 4:36Speaker 3: sleep at night.
- 4:37Speaker 1: Greg, Yeah, we get it. Yeah, morally, I guess I
- 4:42Speaker 1: have to respond. All right. I was hoping you'd be
- 4:45Speaker 1: on my side. All Right, you mentioned true crime documentaries.
- 4:49Speaker 1: Sammy HBO is filming a Gilmore Girls documentary. Well, yeah,
- 4:55Speaker 1: I don't know anything about it. That's the headline if
- 4:58Speaker 1: you want to look into that.
- 4:59Speaker 8: Well, it's the best show to ever be created.
- 5:00Speaker 4: Okay.
- 5:01Speaker 3: So, so Woody's daughter is super into Gilmore Girls now,
- 5:04Speaker 3: so it's making the rounds to a new generation.
- 5:06Speaker 8: Yeah, never say it.
- 5:07Speaker 3: I don't know about it. I don't care about it.
- 5:09Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 5:09Speaker 5: I think it came out in like two thousand and
- 5:11Speaker 5: four and had a seven or eight season run and
- 5:14Speaker 5: that was back when the seasons were twenty four episodes.
- 5:17Speaker 3: Long, right, kids be loving it now?
- 5:19Speaker 5: Well, it's great because it was on Netflix for so long.
- 5:21Speaker 5: It's recently moved off to Netflix, but you can find
- 5:23Speaker 5: it on Disney and Hulu or I've been watching it
- 5:27Speaker 5: on Time.
- 5:29Speaker 4: What's the show we're talking about?
- 5:30Speaker 10: Minus?
- 5:33Speaker 4: Yes, fifty three episodes?
- 5:36Speaker 3: Wow, I have too many.
- 5:37Speaker 5: Be very interested to watch this documentary because they did.
- 5:41Speaker 5: As we know, Netflix came out with Gilmore Girls A
- 5:43Speaker 5: Year in the Life where they already kind of did
- 5:45Speaker 5: reunion episodes each season.
- 5:49Speaker 6: And Sammy, remember when we did the WB studio tour
- 5:52Speaker 6: and we got to go in the houses.
- 5:54Speaker 3: Yes, I did. I feel like I didn't appreciate it.
- 5:57Speaker 4: That rule I never ruled.
- 5:58Speaker 3: It isn't one of them like a Aurora or.
- 6:02Speaker 5: Laurlai, Rory Rory, Okay, Laura. It's it really is a great,
- 6:09Speaker 5: very well written show, and we don't have enough of it.
- 6:12Speaker 5: Even the Year and a Life, which was the reunion,
- 6:15Speaker 5: ended on a cliffhanger, so we still need more.
- 6:20Speaker 1: And that was the birthplace of Melissa McCarthy. We have

- 6:57Speaker 1: Michael Shannon. That's one of those actors that you've seen him.
- 6:59Speaker 4: In The.
- 7:02Speaker 1: Empire, heavily inspired by Greg totally. He's fifty two. Wayne Knight,
- 7:07Speaker 1: who is best known as playing Newman and who I
- 7:10Speaker 1: recently was in the frozen food section with at Ralph's
- 7:14Speaker 1: I know seventy one. Happy birthday, Wayne Night. Yeah, we
- 7:18Speaker 1: totally hooked up right against the frozen piece.
- 7:20Speaker 4: I can't imagine him at seventy one years old.
- 7:22Speaker 1: And then Tobin Bell was Jigsaw in the Saw.
- 7:26Speaker 4: FRANCHISELI eighty four.
- 7:31Speaker 1: Your porno birthday today is Ashley Adams. She's ingested more

- 7:43Speaker 1: sometimes you're just aching for it. She was in b
- 7:46Speaker 1: My Cuck volume two. You might remember a double squirt date.
- 7:51Speaker 1: Oh yeah, and along those lines, Wow you made my
- 7:54Speaker 1: wife squirt volume two, and Ashley was also in an
- 7:59Speaker 1: amazing film called pool Side Tongue Da Oh.
- 8:02Speaker 3: Greg, you're so excited for that.
- 8:03Speaker 1: I love it. Ashley Adams, she is thirty today. That
- 8:07Speaker 1: is your Porner birthday. You're a look at celebrity birthdays.

- 9:03Speaker 4: Show, Yes showing.
- 9:09Speaker 1: And going to Gina grad Who's got your headlines?
- 9:13Speaker 2: Well?
- 9:13Speaker 3: The Senate committee involved in the doctor Fauci hearings has
- 9:16Speaker 3: voted to hold him in contempt of Congress. This all
- 9:19Speaker 3: comes after Fauci pleaded the Fifth Amendment for every question
- 9:22Speaker 3: that was askding the hearing, which was like, what color
- 9:24Speaker 3: is your type?
- 9:25Speaker 4: What color is the carpet?
- 9:26Speaker 3: It was pretty funny. It annoyed a lot of people
- 9:28Speaker 3: around the country. Though normally contempt votes would head to
- 9:32Speaker 3: the full Senate for a full vote, but Fauci pissed
- 9:35Speaker 3: off enough people that they are going to send it
- 9:37Speaker 3: straight to the DOJ in the hopes that they do
- 9:39Speaker 3: something about it. And Fauci's lawyers are calling the move
- 9:42Speaker 3: crude political crude, political stunt. But either way, the DOJ
- 9:47Speaker 3: says they have the documents they need and they're looking
- 9:49Speaker 3: at everything else to see what they're going to do next.
- 9:52Speaker 1: Doctor Fauci's wife got so sassy. There were photographers filming
- 9:55Speaker 1: her and uh, doctor Fauci in their car, and she
- 9:59Speaker 1: flipped them all.
- 10:02Speaker 3: Get those claws. Well, airlines are starting to push back
- 10:08Speaker 3: as ICE steps up immigration arrests at airports around the country.
- 10:12Speaker 3: Instead of just going after people with final deportation orders,
- 10:15Speaker 3: agents are now also arresting some travelers with expired visas
- 10:19Speaker 3: who are waiting on things like green card or asylum applications.
- 10:23Speaker 3: Some airlines have just straight up refused to let Ice
- 10:25Speaker 3: board planes or hand over passenger information without the right
- 10:29Speaker 3: legal PaperWorks because they're obviously they're trying to avoid big
- 10:32Speaker 3: scenes at the airport and have their name all wrapped
- 10:34Speaker 3: up in it. The arrests have led to a couple
- 10:37Speaker 3: of tense moments at gates and at boarding areas, and
- 10:40Speaker 3: of course it's raising concerns about safety for passengers and
- 10:43Speaker 3: airline employees and everyone caught in the middle. I mean,
- 10:46Speaker 3: can you imagine like you're just trying to like get
- 10:48Speaker 3: to Akron and like a giant fight breaks out. Is
- 10:51Speaker 3: I don't think they want that mess.
- 10:52Speaker 1: Just got to get to my radio convention.
- 10:57Speaker 3: Well, football is officially back, and I know that most
- 11:01Speaker 3: people in this room care about it. Not Bort but
- 11:04Speaker 3: yes to Greg Venison, Yeah, Sammy and Seabat.
- 11:07Speaker 1: I have like two games that I'm going to already.
- 11:09Speaker 1: Oh nice, I'm trying not to care as much this season.
- 11:13Speaker 3: I feel like you say that every year I do. Okay,
- 11:15Speaker 3: this is the year I can feel it.
- 11:16Speaker 1: I'm not going to care well.
- 11:17Speaker 3: The Carolina Panthers and the Arizona Cardinals squared off in
- 11:20Speaker 3: the annual NFL Hall of Fame Game, which marks the
- 11:22Speaker 3: official start to preseason football, and apparently the game was
- 11:26Speaker 3: actually pretty good. Rookie QB Carson Beck looked decent for
- 11:30Speaker 3: the Cardinals, and the Panthers played well, but it all
- 11:32Speaker 3: came down to the last play when Panthers QB Haines
- 11:35Speaker 3: King took the ball himself, ran up the middle, and
- 11:38Speaker 3: dove in for the winning touchdown. The Panthers won thirty
- 11:41Speaker 3: three to thirty. But the best part is now that
- 11:43Speaker 3: that's over. Every week we'll have at least one football
- 11:46Speaker 3: game between now and the Super Bowl in February.
- 11:49Speaker 1: Finally, right, But.
- 11:51Speaker 3: It's just when it's one hundred and you know, however
- 11:53Speaker 3: many degrees around the country, it's like, Eh, don't you
- 11:56Speaker 3: want to see leaves falling and little testing of snow?
- 11:58Speaker 5: Yes, s swetters, yes, pumpkins.
- 12:04Speaker 4: Do you have a fall themed Stanley mug ready to go? Yeah?
- 12:08Speaker 3: Of course?
- 12:09Speaker 4: Please? Are you locked and loaded?
- 12:11Speaker 8: Darker green.
- 12:15Speaker 1: Calendar? Bust out the green one?
- 12:18Speaker 5: Well no, it's just by season, right, so by September
- 12:20Speaker 5: I'll have it.
- 12:21Speaker 3: Okay, but you don't have like a pumpkin themed one
- 12:24Speaker 3: or like orange.
- 12:25Speaker 8: I don't say.
- 12:28Speaker 3: Everybody listening. Well, just over a month after being crowned
- 12:32Speaker 3: Miss North Carolina, the winner has already lost her title.
- 12:36Speaker 3: So let this be a warning to all of you.
- 12:38Speaker 3: But it's a vague warning. So Miss USA organizers launched
- 12:42Speaker 3: an investigation after getting a tip, and while they haven't
- 12:45Speaker 3: exactly said what they found, they did say that old
- 12:48Speaker 3: social media posts of surface that violated the standards contestants
- 12:53Speaker 3: are expected to uphold. Because Greg, you have.
- 12:55Speaker 1: To post whatever you see, whatever you think exactly, every
- 12:58Speaker 1: your opinion is must be posted.
- 13:01Speaker 3: Because of this, she was stripped of her crown. She
- 13:03Speaker 3: won't be competing in Miss USA. Instead, the Miss North
- 13:08Speaker 3: Carolina runner up will take her place.
- 13:10Speaker 4: Lucky could Miss North Carolina say online, you.
- 13:15Speaker 1: Know that's salacious?
- 13:17Speaker 3: Well, where was it? Was it a bachelor thing or
- 13:20Speaker 3: what was it when somebody was posting pictures of their
- 13:23Speaker 3: like was it like their Antebellum sorority party, Like maybe
- 13:29Speaker 3: it's that kind of thing. I really haven't.
- 13:31Speaker 4: That's the thing is, especially with pageant people, if anyone
- 13:34Speaker 4: is like overly prepared and like super checked in about stuff. Yeah,
- 13:40Speaker 4: you would think that would be this would be like
- 13:42Speaker 4: rubb square square one zero.
- 13:44Speaker 6: But there's websites out there that copies all your social
- 13:47Speaker 6: media even if you delete it, so copy.
- 13:51Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 13:53Speaker 3: And it's both because on the one hand, like Greg said,
- 13:55Speaker 3: like just sit this one out, we don't need to
- 13:57Speaker 3: hear all your thoughts at all moments and you're gonna
- 13:59Speaker 3: say something you regret and it might be your fault.
- 14:01Speaker 3: And on the other hand, like menace you said, there
- 14:04Speaker 3: are websites that are just it's it's almost like patent trolls,
- 14:07Speaker 3: Like I'm just gonna sit on this until I just
- 14:08Speaker 3: want to take someone down.
- 14:09Speaker 4: Automatically copies like every tweet, every post.
- 14:13Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't know. Maybe should we just go analog,
- 14:16Speaker 3: should just go back to the olden days.
- 14:17Speaker 1: But aren't pageant girls super goody goody.
- 14:20Speaker 2: Like.
- 14:24Speaker 4: Done straight up porn? Like really yeah?
- 14:28Speaker 3: Didn't Vanessa Williams.
- 14:30Speaker 4: Well, no, she like some sexy photos.
- 14:33Speaker 3: Yeah, okay, well, good for her. Well, the big fight
- 14:36Speaker 3: over Paramount's proposed merger with Warner Brothers Discovery is officially
- 14:40Speaker 3: headed to trial next March. More than a dozen states
- 14:43Speaker 3: are suing to block the deal, and they argue that
- 14:46Speaker 3: it would violate antitrust laws and give the combined company
- 14:49Speaker 3: way too much control over the TV and movie business.
- 14:52Speaker 3: So if the merger goes through, Paramount would be behind
- 14:55Speaker 3: nearly thirty percent of the upcoming blockbuster movie releases. Even
- 14:59Speaker 3: with the laws suit hanging over the deal, though, Paramount
- 15:01Speaker 3: told it shareholders don't worry. We're confident that the merger
- 15:04Speaker 3: will be approved once this case settles next spring.
- 15:07Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 15:07Speaker 4: I mean it's movies, who cares? And then also TV?
- 15:10Speaker 4: Who cares? TV sucks so hard?
- 15:12Speaker 6: I mean, let's trying to find stuff on there's nothing
- 15:15Speaker 6: all right?
- 15:16Speaker 4: Back to Miss North Carolina. Oh yeah, I got some
- 15:18Speaker 4: some uncovered stuff. Okay. She is currently twenty seven years old,
- 15:22Speaker 4: little long in the two. Yeah okay, but this apparently
- 15:25Speaker 4: this happened around twenty seventeen, so she would have been
- 15:28Speaker 4: calling a eighteen ish. Maybe she was using the N
- 15:33Speaker 4: word in personal slash relationship posts, but not like that.
- 15:38Speaker 4: Not like that like in a rappler. No no, no,
- 15:40Speaker 4: like like as in like a dude or fella. Like
- 15:43Speaker 4: how people have called me the N word to my face,
- 15:47Speaker 4: not meaning it like that. One one widely referend example
- 15:50Speaker 4: is along the lines of this N word has made
- 15:52Speaker 4: fifty shades of messed up ft up, so like saying
- 15:55Speaker 4: like this person's being weird or this is drama blah
- 15:58Speaker 4: blah blah blah blah, sea.
- 15:59Speaker 3: Be's just for this the news strike. Can you confirm
- 16:03Speaker 3: her race?
- 16:04Speaker 1: Honduran?
- 16:05Speaker 4: Okay, I get but menace, you can speak to this.
- 16:08Speaker 4: You be on these streets there is it's the N
- 16:12Speaker 4: word on the streets. I hear it from Asian guys.
- 16:15Speaker 4: I hear it from Hispanic guys. I hear it from
- 16:17Speaker 4: Asian women and Hispanic women talk as well as of
- 16:19Speaker 4: course African American talking about just a dude or a fella. Again,
- 16:23Speaker 4: I've been called this just but not in an insulting
- 16:26Speaker 4: matter like like cartonnarks. So let me on the phone,
- 16:28Speaker 4: be like try to call someone to come beat me up?
- 16:30Speaker 3: And what do they say?
- 16:31Speaker 4: They'll say this and word over here is doing too much, Yeah,
- 16:35Speaker 4: talking about me like that. So this is to me.
- 16:37Speaker 6: Then I went to one of our African American program
- 16:41Speaker 6: directors who programs a lot of music, and I brought
- 16:44Speaker 6: him this song. I was like, oh, yeah, this is
- 16:46Speaker 6: a really good song. But somebody in the song is
- 16:49Speaker 6: Middle Eastern saying the N word. And his response to
- 16:51Speaker 6: me says, that's that. He said, everybody's saying it.
- 16:54Speaker 4: That's exactly what I'm saying. So, I mean, it's different
- 16:58Speaker 4: when you are Miss North Carolina?
- 16:59Speaker 3: Does it old the standards of a miss fill in
- 17:01Speaker 3: the world?
- 17:02Speaker 4: Also talking about nine years ago, and again not using
- 17:05Speaker 4: an insulting phrase. No, but it's not up to me,
- 17:08Speaker 4: you know, decide if it's offensive or not. So it is, Well,
- 17:11Speaker 4: apparently it's not. I'll take. I'll take. I'm saying it's
- 17:15Speaker 4: up to me. I'm in charge of it. It's okay.
- 17:19Speaker 3: Well, the Powerball jackpot has been climbing over the summer
- 17:21Speaker 3: and now it has reached eight hundred and fifty six
- 17:24Speaker 3: million dollars. That's the eighth largest post in the game's history.
- 17:29Speaker 3: And the drawing went without a winner, so nobody's even
- 17:32Speaker 3: one since May. The next Powerball drawing is tomorrow night.
- 17:36Speaker 3: People in the UK can now play too, remember that,
- 17:39Speaker 3: which actually doesn't care.
- 17:41Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 17:41Speaker 3: We talked about that.
- 17:42Speaker 7: It's ours.
- 17:43Speaker 8: It's the same as as.
- 17:45Speaker 3: Yes, but this is where this is where Sea Bass,
- 17:49Speaker 3: your MAS skills might have to come into play. Well,
- 17:52Speaker 3: here's the deal. The story was originally presented to me
- 17:56Speaker 3: saying that your odds, you know, have drastically changed. But
- 17:59Speaker 3: that didn't sound right, and I ran it through the
- 18:03Speaker 3: old AI machine and they said, you're it actually doesn't
- 18:06Speaker 3: hurt your odds. You're still one in two hundred and
- 18:09Speaker 3: ninety two million, right, Well, that the base odds of winning.
- 18:12Speaker 3: But now the odds of splitting your hut, Well, that
- 18:14Speaker 3: is exactly what I was going to say, Thank you,
- 18:17Speaker 3: Sea Bass. So yeah, it doesn't It does not change
- 18:20Speaker 3: your chance of winning, but you might have to share
- 18:21Speaker 3: it with someone.
- 18:22Speaker 4: Else, which does change your odds. Correct.
- 18:24Speaker 3: Then the estimated cash option, remember I'll take it, no problem,
- 18:29Speaker 3: But for eight hundred and fifty six million before taxes,
- 18:32Speaker 3: the cash option is only three hundred and seventy two mills.
- 18:34Speaker 3: Maybe splitting that off.
- 18:36Speaker 4: Oh and by the way, only six hundred and thirty
- 18:38Speaker 4: six million pounds. The British pound is seventy five cents
- 18:41Speaker 4: on the dollar. Damn, it was always higher than the dollar.
- 18:44Speaker 1: Mind. I was when I saw odd it was like
- 18:47Speaker 1: two to one basically.
- 18:48Speaker 3: When you saw it Cambridge.
- 18:49Speaker 1: Yes, that's current current.
- 18:52Speaker 4: Wow, tind to go have some fun in English. Its
- 18:56Speaker 4: just there. I felt it was more.
- 18:58Speaker 3: Well, that's what's going on, everybody.
- 18:59Speaker 1: Well, thank you. Up next here on the Woody Show,
- 19:02Speaker 1: Morgan's got a fun new, brand new game for us
- 19:05Speaker 1: to play. I don't want to give too much away.
- 19:07Speaker 1: I'll let her do that next on the Woody Show.
- 19:11Speaker 1: Another program. Note it's the other way around, Sea Bass.
- 19:14Speaker 1: It's not seventy five to one for the pound and dollar.
- 19:17Speaker 1: It's actually zero point seventy four pounds sterling for a dollars.
- 19:21Speaker 1: You get a little bit of less purchase power, even less.
- 19:24Speaker 6: Yeah, because I was just there and I'm like, dude,
- 19:26Speaker 6: stuff is way more expensive, and if it was the
- 19:29Speaker 6: other way around, I would have bought way more stuff.
- 19:33Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 19:33Speaker 4: Week, but I just want to shout out some new
- 19:35Speaker 4: movies out this week.
- 19:36Speaker 6: And I know, you know, Spider Man is still huge
- 19:38Speaker 6: and The Odyssey is still huge.
- 19:40Speaker 4: But Super Troopers three is out.
- 19:43Speaker 1: Tell yah.
- 19:44Speaker 6: Yeah, the Broken Lizard guys who stopped by the Show.
- 19:46Speaker 6: If you miss that, go check out our YouTube YouTube
- 19:49Speaker 6: dot com Slash the Woody Show. But another movie that's
- 19:51Speaker 6: out it's called One Night Only. It's a romantic comedy.
- 19:55Speaker 6: It's R rated, and it's set in a alternate universe
- 19:59Speaker 6: in the United States where sex is illegal three hundred
- 20:02Speaker 6: and sixty four days a year, and you're permitted to
- 20:05Speaker 6: have sex in a twelve hour period, one day a year,
- 20:10Speaker 6: one night.
- 20:11Speaker 3: For this, this looks great.
- 20:12Speaker 4: Yeah, per the splurge One Night Only.
- 20:18Speaker 6: So if you're looking for some movies to check out
- 20:20Speaker 6: this weekend, there's still movies out there that you can
- 20:23Speaker 6: go see. I'm really interested in the One Night Only,
- 20:25Speaker 6: and of course Super Troopers is getting me fun. There's
- 20:28Speaker 6: the thing in Burbank that I saw is called the
- 20:32Speaker 6: Burbank Threesome because Burbank has three different movie theaters and
- 20:37Speaker 6: people go to each movie theater in one day. So
- 20:41Speaker 6: they started at like really early in the morning and.
- 20:43Speaker 4: Then they now waste of time. Well no, I mean,
- 20:46Speaker 4: if you have nothing to do all day Saturday, exactly
- 20:49Speaker 4: waste time? Why because you get to see three different movies.
- 20:52Speaker 4: But Burbank sixteen has probably all the movies you need.
- 20:56Speaker 4: I don't know. Maybe it doesn't. Maybe, yeah, I don't know. Somehow,
- 21:01Speaker 4: what about somehow they make it work?
- 21:03Speaker 6: Why would they have three different movie theaters within a
- 21:06Speaker 6: block of each other if they all had the same movie.
- 21:08Speaker 4: Same reason they have lots of restaurants. I don't know.
- 21:10Speaker 6: You were pretty wrong about that, British.
- 21:13Speaker 4: I tell you, I'm not going to you. I'll look
- 21:17Speaker 4: it up.
- 21:17Speaker 1: Yeah, all right, all right, it is The Woody Show,
- 21:19Speaker 1: And as promised, Morgan is on our way into the
- 21:22Speaker 1: studio to give us a new game. The w Show.
- 21:26Speaker 1: Welcome back to your Friday morning Woody Show, Woody and
- 21:29Speaker 1: Jeff g We'll be back Monday morning. And as excited
- 21:32Speaker 1: and intrigued as I was about Throat Gooat Thursday, I'm
- 21:35Speaker 1: equally excited and confused by what Morgan's got for us
- 21:38Speaker 1: right now, Which is a game that you came up
- 21:41Speaker 1: with experiment.
- 21:44Speaker 12: Yeah so, Greg, you know I love to come up
- 21:46Speaker 12: with a name for something and not have anything to
- 21:49Speaker 12: batten up with, right So I've been sitting on this
- 21:51Speaker 12: for a while. I've pitched it in the meeting week
- 21:53Speaker 12: after week. I never thought it would make it, but
- 21:55Speaker 12: here we are. It's called t or p because I
- 21:58Speaker 12: spend a lot of time driving in the beautiful neighborhood
- 22:01Speaker 12: of Van Night, and about every corner, you know, stopped
- 22:05Speaker 12: at a light wherever you are, you.
- 22:07Speaker 7: Look to the side and there's a bunch of bottles.
- 22:13Speaker 3: They would never McDonald's.
- 22:14Speaker 12: Cups, maybe a couch, you know, a body of of
- 22:17Speaker 12: iced tea perhaps, And I always look and I'm like,
- 22:20Speaker 12: is that tea.
- 22:20Speaker 4: Or piece the amber colored?
- 22:23Speaker 13: Yeah.
- 22:24Speaker 4: The great thing about Van Night, as well all of
- 22:25Speaker 4: la really is there's always there's no shortage of dumpy
- 22:28Speaker 4: strip malls, and they all have those walls outside they
- 22:31Speaker 4: are like waist high. That is the perfect place after
- 22:34Speaker 4: you've got your either half spent beverage or half refilled beverage,
- 22:39Speaker 4: just dump. Yeah.
- 22:40Speaker 6: There are names for this, and it's called trucker bombs
- 22:44Speaker 6: because during likes well yeah, long haul, they'll they'll pee
- 22:50Speaker 6: in a bottle and then the heat sometimes will make
- 22:53Speaker 6: them explode.
- 22:53Speaker 4: Oh god, well yeah, yeah, those are but with the
- 22:56Speaker 4: bottoms specifically, more like the re syllable containers or sometimes
- 22:59Speaker 4: gallon jugs if you really work and hard.
- 23:00Speaker 7: Oh I've seen those two, like the Leader.
- 23:04Speaker 1: But it's good that it's isolated to van Eys because
- 23:06Speaker 1: when you're in any other area and you're at a
- 23:08Speaker 1: red light or whatever, it's usually pristine. If you point
- 23:12Speaker 1: out that LA eight of it is an actual dump,
- 23:16Speaker 1: people get so precious about it. But it's a fact.
- 23:18Speaker 1: He sucks. Sorry, yeah, it really does.
- 23:20Speaker 12: So this is the game that I have for you, guys,
- 23:22Speaker 12: you lucky, lucky people. We're going to play to your
- 23:25Speaker 12: pe I have collected, as you can see, photos of
- 23:28Speaker 12: the you know, they're they're in a person in the studio, yes,
- 23:35Speaker 12: straight from Van Nis. Some of them are Tea and one.
- 23:38Speaker 7: Is pay allegedly. So I'm going to ask a few questions.
- 23:42Speaker 12: Whoever gets the whoever's first to get a question wrong,
- 23:45Speaker 12: And these are all questions that are fun about.
- 23:47Speaker 4: T and P right oh yeah yeah yeah, test knowledge.
- 23:50Speaker 7: Thanks.
- 23:51Speaker 12: See, if whoever gets the question wrong has to take
- 23:54Speaker 12: a bottle and guess.
- 23:56Speaker 4: Okay, don't drink it, Okay.
- 23:58Speaker 12: Don't get me fired. You know, look at the colorfted
- 24:01Speaker 12: if you want, do what you gotta do, and then
- 24:03Speaker 12: behind those bottles. Because I'm going to Japan today, I
- 24:08Speaker 12: have brought prizes for you. So if you it's like
- 24:13Speaker 12: a lose win, you gotta lose, get a question wrong,
- 24:16Speaker 12: guess the bottle right, and then you get a prize.
- 24:20Speaker 9: Are we ready?
- 24:20Speaker 12: Yes, I've worked a lot on this. Let's start with Greg.
- 24:24Speaker 12: I have a good one for you, Greg.
- 24:28Speaker 1: Yeah, yes, former recovered.
- 24:30Speaker 12: So Greg, which insect has been measured as one of
- 24:33Speaker 12: the strongest urinators in the animal kingdom?
- 24:37Speaker 1: In great question? I didn't know insects urined.
- 24:40Speaker 12: They say it has a jet like flow, and it's
- 24:43Speaker 12: multiple choice. I'm gonna give you options picked. So it's
- 24:46Speaker 12: either A elephants, B cicadas, CE camels or D kangaroos.
- 24:54Speaker 3: Oh, this is tough.
- 24:55Speaker 1: I thought you said insect.
- 24:56Speaker 3: Well, I guess you should the insect.
- 24:58Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, maybe you should data that. I thought it
- 25:02Speaker 4: was a joke. We thought we thought that was the joke.
- 25:07Speaker 3: What did you think the question was?
- 25:09Speaker 7: I thought I was writing a question that was hard
- 25:11Speaker 7: to guess.
- 25:11Speaker 4: Did you ask me? Did you ask to make this?
- 25:14Speaker 3: Did you hit medic's vape pen when you this?
- 25:16Speaker 2: Okay?
- 25:17Speaker 12: But I was right, SOA so you're fine.
- 25:21Speaker 4: One of those. It was just sounds wrong, all right?
- 25:23Speaker 10: You know which of these starts with gas?
- 25:27Speaker 12: And I'm drunk right now? Okay, Gina, which country drinks
- 25:32Speaker 12: the most tea per capita. Okay, is it A the
- 25:34Speaker 12: United Kingdom, B, China, C, Turkey or D India?
- 25:39Speaker 3: My first without even without the multiple choice, I was
- 25:42Speaker 3: going to say India.
- 25:43Speaker 4: So they produced a lot of tea.
- 25:48Speaker 7: But you're looking drinking.
- 25:50Speaker 4: Yeah, you gotta look at population of the rest of
- 25:54Speaker 4: the country.
- 25:55Speaker 3: Because I thought of it before you gave the choices.
- 25:57Speaker 3: I'll stick with India.
- 25:58Speaker 7: Okay, that's wrongs the UK. It's Turkey.
- 26:03Speaker 3: I thought they were into like Turkish coffee.
- 26:05Speaker 7: I would have guessed the UK too, all right.
- 26:08Speaker 4: And by the way, these bottles are, I think they're
- 26:10Speaker 4: all different. Right, you got coca, there's an actual lifting.
- 26:14Speaker 4: You got a body armor. I know they still have that.
- 26:16Speaker 4: It must have been on the road for a while.
- 26:20Speaker 1: The show is only so long.
- 26:21Speaker 3: Did I ever tell you they're all bad choices?
- 26:23Speaker 4: Then they're temperature? Now got alright, So I have to.
- 26:28Speaker 7: Guess if this is to your p Yeah, and again
- 26:30Speaker 7: just look at it and you can.
- 26:32Speaker 3: Okay, So, oh it's wet, ye.
- 26:36Speaker 8: Yeah, I touch it.
- 26:39Speaker 4: I don't think we said that we did.
- 26:40Speaker 3: Okay, so we didn't have to. My first thought was
- 26:43Speaker 3: that it was P but P I don't know how
- 26:45Speaker 3: it lung. It last like this. It's always kind of
- 26:47Speaker 3: like foamy. And if this is pee, this person's pretty healthy.
- 26:51Speaker 3: Because it's not. It's pretty clear. I wanted to smell it.
- 26:53Speaker 4: It's a very light tan. Yeah, I mean like like
- 26:56Speaker 4: diluted honey.
- 26:59Speaker 3: All right, Oh this is this is tea.
- 27:02Speaker 7: Yeah, it's tea.
- 27:06Speaker 3: Fortune favors the bold people. You gotta smell it.
- 27:08Speaker 4: I got that's in a water bottle. Why would he
- 27:10Speaker 4: be in a water.
- 27:11Speaker 3: Well, that's where they pee and throw it on the floor.
- 27:13Speaker 7: Oh no, some of these are man made by me
- 27:16Speaker 7: to throw you off.
- 27:17Speaker 12: I didn't go get six actual bottles, so you do
- 27:23Speaker 12: get a prize. And then there's so many layers of
- 27:25Speaker 12: jokes in this game. Right, I'm going to Japan, so
- 27:27Speaker 12: I thought, oh, I'll get Japanese snacks for them, and
- 27:30Speaker 12: then after I bought them, I realized they're Chinese snacks.
- 27:34Speaker 8: Well, because you haven't been to Japanion's so like.
- 27:37Speaker 7: What language is this? I don't know. Apparently it's Chinese.
- 27:40Speaker 4: Layers of jokes, yeah, layers.
- 27:42Speaker 7: So this is numb and spicy hot pot flavor.
- 27:45Speaker 3: Lad, All right, let's do this thing.
- 27:47Speaker 13: Hotch pots I'm jealous, hot pot, We'll share them, buff
- 27:49Speaker 13: them open.
- 27:50Speaker 12: It's good, Okay, Sea Bass, I have a question for you.
- 27:52Speaker 12: I'm here, Uh roughly, what share of all tea drunk
- 27:56Speaker 12: in the U.
- 27:57Speaker 7: S A is served iced?
- 28:00Speaker 3: Roy Miss South?
- 28:01Speaker 4: How many?
- 28:02Speaker 1: So? What?
- 28:02Speaker 4: What's so?
- 28:03Speaker 12: Here's your options. It's either twenty five percent, fifty eighty
- 28:07Speaker 12: five percent, or ninety nine percent.
- 28:09Speaker 4: I will say, because we are we are not a
- 28:11Speaker 4: hot tea people.
- 28:12Speaker 1: Uh.
- 28:13Speaker 4: And if you just joge by and what he really
- 28:17Speaker 4: really throws us into the iced category because he has
- 28:19Speaker 4: about a half gallon every morning. True, I have iced. Well,
- 28:23Speaker 4: I'll go with eighty five because I think I think
- 28:25Speaker 4: our hot tea is just so low.
- 28:26Speaker 7: Yeah, that's correct, all right, Ice, well done.
- 28:28Speaker 4: All right, I'll have mena smell.
- 28:29Speaker 7: My bottle please, I mean yeah, if you want to
- 28:32Speaker 7: smell fun to.
- 28:33Speaker 1: Pass the menace, right, yeah, okay, so menace will get
- 28:36Speaker 1: the next question, right.
- 28:37Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 28:37Speaker 1: Well, that's when T and P continue.
- 28:40Speaker 4: I mean, there's TNP or it could be either continues.
- 28:46Speaker 1: Show. It is the Woody Show. It's Friday morning, and
- 28:49Speaker 1: we are in the midst of a round of T
- 28:52Speaker 1: or P, the first round, and Morgan I'm not even
- 28:55Speaker 1: remotely being sarcastic. This is very well done.
- 28:58Speaker 7: That's crazy because I'm I like to think it's really weird.
- 29:01Speaker 1: I like the mechanics. Is the game weird obviously?
- 29:04Speaker 14: Yeah?
- 29:05Speaker 1: Is it sad that it even has to exist? Yes, thanks,
- 29:09Speaker 1: of course, shout. But the mechanics of it are really fun.
- 29:12Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 29:12Speaker 6: Yeah, I love the prize element, as you know, and
- 29:15Speaker 6: I will say the Van Eys is a great place
- 29:17Speaker 6: for me to go and angle grind signs off of
- 29:19Speaker 6: poles on account it's trashy and people do that there.
- 29:23Speaker 1: It's just always giving.
- 29:24Speaker 4: Now can you read crab real quick? How does the
- 29:26Speaker 4: game work?
- 29:27Speaker 1: Again?
- 29:27Speaker 4: So I'm about to play?
- 29:28Speaker 12: So yeah, so I'm going to go to menace with
- 29:30Speaker 12: the question multiple choice question. If you get it wrong,
- 29:33Speaker 12: you have to pick a bottle and guess if it's
- 29:35Speaker 12: t RP.
- 29:36Speaker 4: Okay.
- 29:36Speaker 12: If you guess correctly, then you get Japanese slash slash
- 29:40Speaker 12: Chinese price.
- 29:41Speaker 4: Okay. Yeah, use your phone you can figure out which
- 29:46Speaker 4: one it is.
- 29:47Speaker 7: Yeah, maybe okay, but for sure you can't.
- 29:51Speaker 12: Doctors historically diagnosed diabetes by noting that the urine tasted.
- 29:55Speaker 7: Dot dot dot.
- 29:57Speaker 4: Oh I know.
- 29:57Speaker 12: The answer is it a bitter like bile. Be sweet
- 30:01Speaker 12: like honey or sugar, see salty like sea water, or
- 30:05Speaker 12: d metallic?
- 30:06Speaker 6: Oh, I know the answer, the answer, And I know
- 30:10Speaker 6: people diabetes, diabetes.
- 30:12Speaker 4: It can't be sweet, right because they want they need sugar.
- 30:16Speaker 8: Well, well they could have high sugar.
- 30:18Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm gonna.
- 30:19Speaker 4: Go metallic for some reason.
- 30:21Speaker 7: No sweet, like really, damn it?
- 30:25Speaker 14: Sweet?
- 30:25Speaker 7: Pee get a bottle, baby, like, it's your bottle.
- 30:29Speaker 4: Okay, five bottles left. We got brisk body body armor.
- 30:35Speaker 4: Who what a stupid name?
- 30:37Speaker 3: Body armor? Very full one and it's very dark, very dark,
- 30:43Speaker 3: and yeah, somebody is not hydrated.
- 30:45Speaker 1: Going with your favorite coke.
- 30:47Speaker 4: But also the other thing about that is uh zero
- 30:50Speaker 4: and you ate. When you ate it, it'll turn that color.
- 30:51Speaker 4: How do I know that? Because I'm a member of
- 30:53Speaker 4: a group on Facebook that ages ages and uses it
- 30:59Speaker 4: for additional purpose. Of course I wanted to I want
- 31:01Speaker 4: to do I honestly want to do a documentary about them. Really,
- 31:04Speaker 4: they are all psychos.
- 31:07Speaker 3: He's opening it, he's unscrewing the bottle.
- 31:09Speaker 7: Take a whiff, going straight in.
- 31:10Speaker 3: Oh, he's still smelling it.
- 31:13Speaker 6: It smells like a casino that Vegas.
- 31:20Speaker 3: Don't get Oh, he's turning ride. Is he gonna puke?
- 31:24Speaker 3: Oh God, I can't look.
- 31:26Speaker 4: It's the sweet Has you never seen it?
- 31:29Speaker 3: You know, I've never seen a puke in here.
- 31:31Speaker 4: This is standard.
- 31:32Speaker 7: It is zero cherry.
- 31:34Speaker 4: It smells again. It smells like a casino.
- 31:36Speaker 7: So weird.
- 31:37Speaker 4: They're like on Fremont Street in Vegas, so like the Naugat.
- 31:40Speaker 4: So that usually means pe but it might be like
- 31:45Speaker 4: sweet tea.
- 31:46Speaker 8: Or diabetics were diabetical.
- 31:50Speaker 4: Can I could picture some diabetic in a like a
- 31:52Speaker 4: wheelchair shuffling with his feet down. Oh yeah, I'm.
- 31:55Speaker 7: Going that's happening right as we speak. Right now, I'm.
- 31:58Speaker 4: Gonna say tea is tea?
- 32:00Speaker 7: Correct?
- 32:04Speaker 4: Want to smell it again? Whose fault was that?
- 32:07Speaker 7: Menace?
- 32:08Speaker 12: You've won some fried crab flavored Chinese chicks, Japanese more.
- 32:14Speaker 4: Japanese that looks Indonesian quite.
- 32:20Speaker 7: Frankly, well read it. It's not in English.
- 32:26Speaker 4: I'm just going there next week.
- 32:28Speaker 7: Today, that's right.
- 32:29Speaker 12: Yeah, right now, I'll go Yeah, we'll go to Sammy. Okay,
- 32:34Speaker 12: what is the most popular type of tea consumed globally?
- 32:38Speaker 7: Okay? Is it green tea, black tea, white tea? Or tea?
- 32:43Speaker 12: Am I saying that, Yeah, I'm going to say black
- 32:48Speaker 12: tea racist, but correct?
- 32:52Speaker 9: Is it?
- 32:53Speaker 3: I don't know?
- 32:53Speaker 8: But but like black tea is the healthiest for you,
- 32:55Speaker 8: I think so that's.
- 32:57Speaker 3: Why that was green one. That taste worse I thought
- 33:00Speaker 3: was better for you.
- 33:01Speaker 1: You've ever had green tea? Ice cream? So good?
- 33:03Speaker 4: Oh?
- 33:04Speaker 3: Again, you don't like green tea. You like ice cream?
- 33:07Speaker 2: Oh?
- 33:07Speaker 3: I love an ice macha like No, you like cream
- 33:10Speaker 3: and sugar.
- 33:12Speaker 6: Google lens it translates it for me, but it won't
- 33:15Speaker 6: tell me the language of origin.
- 33:17Speaker 4: You got to use a Hey, what language is this?
- 33:19Speaker 3: Does it look like this? If so, it's Chinese?
- 33:21Speaker 12: Well, here's here's why I thought it was. It's from
- 33:24Speaker 12: China because my receipt says laised China.
- 33:26Speaker 3: Flavor tastes like China.
- 33:30Speaker 7: Did everyone get a question? Should we keep going? I
- 33:31Speaker 7: have one more bag of chips?
- 33:32Speaker 1: Let's do what? I just want to do one more
- 33:34Speaker 1: because well hopefully well Morgan knows which one of this
- 33:38Speaker 1: you can chances, let's do one more?
- 33:41Speaker 7: Okay, So who do we want to go to?
- 33:44Speaker 1: Yes?
- 33:46Speaker 7: Greg, you're loving Okay, And I got question?
- 33:50Speaker 1: Correct?
- 33:51Speaker 12: Worldwide people drink and estimated how many cups of tea
- 33:55Speaker 12: every single day for the entire world. Is it five
- 33:58Speaker 12: hundred millions cups of tea, one billion cups of tea
- 34:02Speaker 12: more than three billion cups of tea per day? Or
- 34:05Speaker 12: twenty billion?
- 34:07Speaker 1: I'm gonna say, laughing, I'm gonna say three billion, because
- 34:10Speaker 1: I know that tea is the most commonly drunk beverage
- 34:14Speaker 1: on Earth consumed consumed. Thank you, menace, I say, I'll
- 34:17Speaker 1: say three billion.
- 34:18Speaker 7: You're correct there, right like that?
- 34:22Speaker 4: Morgan. Can you think why I might think twenty billion
- 34:24Speaker 4: cups is a ridiculous number for number drunk of tea
- 34:27Speaker 4: per day?
- 34:28Speaker 1: No, because if even if every single person on Earth
- 34:32Speaker 1: had that means they had at.
- 34:34Speaker 12: Least three I mean, and I forget for how many
- 34:37Speaker 12: people are on the earth, like seven don't do it.
- 34:40Speaker 12: How are we supposed to know that off the top
- 34:42Speaker 12: of our heads?
- 34:43Speaker 4: People do? It's just not like an always cush number. Yeah,
- 34:46Speaker 4: but you don't. Don't worry.
- 34:47Speaker 1: I wouldn't know.
- 34:50Speaker 15: That.
- 34:50Speaker 4: I genuinely thought everybody knew that.
- 34:54Speaker 1: In your defense, when it's multiple choice, one of the
- 34:57Speaker 1: answers the options is usually outlandish.
- 34:59Speaker 7: Yes, that's what I did.
- 35:00Speaker 14: It's twenty billions, Which which is she could have played
- 35:03Speaker 14: off if she hadn't said what was that?
- 35:07Speaker 3: I want to know which one.
- 35:08Speaker 1: To the reveal?
- 35:09Speaker 4: What's yeah?
- 35:10Speaker 1: Yeah? Are you ready brisk the body armor or the Gatorade?
- 35:13Speaker 1: Guessing Gatorade because it has the wide mouth bottle.
- 35:16Speaker 7: It's the Gatorade one, no one.
- 35:20Speaker 1: It's very dark.
- 35:20Speaker 4: It's very dark.
- 35:21Speaker 6: Also say we want to say sea bass. But Morgan
- 35:24Speaker 6: is going for sclass to Japan today, so thank you.
- 35:27Speaker 4: She's got something I don't bring her down.
- 35:29Speaker 7: How about some Italian red meat flavored chips?
- 35:31Speaker 4: Red that was a blast?
- 35:37Speaker 1: Was really fun here courtesy of Morgan. Here on The
- 35:40Speaker 1: Woody Show, The Woody showed to be back. Welcome back
- 35:50Speaker 1: to The Woody Show on a Friday morning. If you're
- 35:54Speaker 1: just joining us and you haven't heard, Woody and jefft
- 35:56Speaker 1: are out conventioning. He'll be back Monday. You're on the
- 36:00Speaker 1: wood Show.
- 36:00Speaker 3: Geah, they at an Avon convention selling lipsticks and rooms. Yeah,
- 36:06Speaker 3: I mean a Mary Kay Avon. I think I don't know, well,
- 36:11Speaker 3: I don't know how familiar you guys are with this
- 36:13Speaker 3: kind of thing, but as a lot of single ladies
- 36:15Speaker 3: who've been out there dating, they know that there are
- 36:18Speaker 3: these sites that warn you about like bad dudes, and
- 36:22Speaker 3: these sites have been around forever. There was one did
- 36:24Speaker 3: you guys ever? Did you ever hear about the site
- 36:27Speaker 3: called Don't Date himgirl dot com?
- 36:29Speaker 4: Girl? Yeah, I heard you mention it.
- 36:31Speaker 6: I don't even know how they exist without getting sued.
- 36:34Speaker 4: Yeah, that's a great question.
- 36:35Speaker 3: Is they don't? They did, but now they don't for
- 36:38Speaker 3: just that reason. It was so popular. It was like
- 36:41Speaker 3: this online forum back in two thousand and five, and
- 36:43Speaker 3: they let you post like anonymously names photos, stories about
- 36:47Speaker 3: guys that you know you're accusing of cheating or like
- 36:50Speaker 3: doing really bad stuff, and of course they faced huge
- 36:53Speaker 3: lawsuits over defamation. By twenty ten, the whole database was removed,
- 36:57Speaker 3: But that one was you But.
- 36:59Speaker 6: I feel like I see videos like current So is
- 37:01Speaker 6: it just like Facebook groups or something?
- 37:03Speaker 16: Now?
- 37:03Speaker 3: Okay, so yes, So there's this giant uh group on
- 37:08Speaker 3: Facebook network. Yeah, are we dating the same guy? And
- 37:11Speaker 3: those are in all kinds of towns. Is that's basically
- 37:14Speaker 3: like a neighborhood watch for dating, And the idea is
- 37:18Speaker 3: basically the same thing. If you're talking to a dude,
- 37:20Speaker 3: you're thinking about going out with them, but you're either
- 37:22Speaker 3: getting like a bad vibe, or you just want to ask,
- 37:25Speaker 3: like he seems like a nice guy. We just start
- 37:27Speaker 3: talking like anybody know anything about this guy?
- 37:29Speaker 1: And then are they allowed to post poda post photo?
- 37:35Speaker 4: No?
- 37:36Speaker 3: No, no they do, they can, they do, and they
- 37:39Speaker 3: share stories or warnings or experiences, and some people like,
- 37:42Speaker 3: oh my god, I went on date with him, we
- 37:43Speaker 3: just didn't match. He's a great guy. Have fun, or
- 37:45Speaker 3: like run girl, and then they will launch into their
- 37:48Speaker 3: anecdote about some you know random.
- 37:51Speaker 4: Now is there's a thing for women like if guys.
- 37:54Speaker 3: I don't know. I haven't been invited to those groups.
- 38:00Speaker 6: It's the only time I feel like I actually hear
- 38:02Speaker 6: about a woman being called out like this.
- 38:05Speaker 4: It gets to like illegal level, right, she knew she
- 38:09Speaker 4: robbed my car. As we've talked about, guys are gross
- 38:12Speaker 4: and don't care.
- 38:13Speaker 3: But that's the thing. It's like, or like she stole
- 38:15Speaker 3: my wallet when we were hooking up. Like I could
- 38:18Speaker 3: imagine those being on one of those sites, because that
- 38:20Speaker 3: is a lot of these like this guy stole my whatever.
- 38:23Speaker 6: I've been meaning to bring this up, sevest did you
- 38:25Speaker 6: see that one like quote unquote model who got upset
- 38:29Speaker 6: and like rob some guy because he didn't give her
- 38:32Speaker 6: Coachell tickets. She like went into a cyber trug and
- 38:37Speaker 6: stole a bunch of stuff.
- 38:39Speaker 3: Hell yeah, everything you said makes sense.
- 38:41Speaker 4: Check check check check chick.
- 38:43Speaker 3: So this kind of site is not it's it's not
- 38:45Speaker 3: to roast guys. In fact, I've seen people like you guys.
- 38:49Speaker 3: It's getting a little mean in here. It's not about
- 38:51Speaker 3: his hair or whatever. So it's not supposed to be
- 38:54Speaker 3: that's supposed to be about actual experiences or helping women
- 38:56Speaker 3: avoid like bad situations. Now, I'm not going to read
- 38:59Speaker 3: anything directly from the page because it is a private
- 39:02Speaker 3: account trying to be you know, girls girl, But I'm
- 39:05Speaker 3: going to tell you the kind of stuff that goes
- 39:07Speaker 3: on in there. So a lot of times it's like
- 39:09Speaker 3: a dog the most picture of this guy and just
- 39:12Speaker 3: put does he belong to anyone? Which always makes me laugh.
- 39:16Speaker 3: But like usually it's any tea, any red flags you
- 39:19Speaker 3: know about so and so, or they'll drop the last
- 39:22Speaker 3: four digits of a guy's phone number to see how
- 39:24Speaker 3: many other chicks in the group he's talking to, so
- 39:27Speaker 3: you can like confirm if you're the only one. And yes, Greg,
- 39:30Speaker 3: you can post screenshots Oka of them of sketchy conversations
- 39:34Speaker 3: he's had with you. Oh oh those are the best.
- 39:38Speaker 4: Now, point Greg, the reason that's something like that wouldn't
- 39:40Speaker 4: get flagged is because there these women I'm sure are
- 39:43Speaker 4: very protective about who gets left left in the group
- 39:46Speaker 4: or let in the groom.
- 39:47Speaker 1: Okay, so I just play some spots they get they
- 39:49Speaker 1: vet the members.
- 39:51Speaker 4: Because yeah, like, if I'm a guy and I wanted
- 39:52Speaker 4: to get one of these women only don't date him groups,
- 39:55Speaker 4: I would have to number one fit, create a fake
- 39:57Speaker 4: Facebook page, then create a whole list stuff history for
- 40:00Speaker 4: that and have years of history, and like, guys don't
- 40:06Speaker 4: care that much. Yeah, that's probably true.
- 40:08Speaker 6: Now I'm thinking of like, okay, yeah, the dudes in there,
- 40:11Speaker 6: like they they're scumbags and they suck. But also, isn't
- 40:14Speaker 6: the women that are part of this group just as
- 40:17Speaker 6: toxic if they want to be part of something like this.
- 40:19Speaker 3: Well, they're just checking to see because they're you know,
- 40:21Speaker 3: they're out in these streets trying to date.
- 40:23Speaker 4: Yeah, but once you check on one guy, why are
- 40:24Speaker 4: you still part of the group?
- 40:26Speaker 3: Well, because it's fun exactly married in a minute, because
- 40:31Speaker 3: I just want to.
- 40:31Speaker 4: Hear the quite honestly, I would be interested to see
- 40:34Speaker 4: what would be in there. It's just a fun gossip.
- 40:38Speaker 3: And I don't think you guys will be surprised to
- 40:40Speaker 3: hear that a lot of these girls are getting straight
- 40:43Speaker 3: up catfished, Like, oh my god, Like, this guy's been
- 40:47Speaker 3: posted a million times. Do a reverse Google search. He
- 40:50Speaker 3: comes up on. You know, he's some Dutch model or
- 40:53Speaker 3: a big one. Now AI, Like, this guy seems too
- 40:57Speaker 3: good to be true, Like and he's clearly fake.
- 41:01Speaker 4: And he needs money for a.
- 41:04Speaker 3: Girl. This is not even a human, Like good lucks
- 41:07Speaker 3: going on a day with him. This is a picture
- 41:09Speaker 3: of a human. There's a lot of that.
- 41:11Speaker 1: You get that.
- 41:11Speaker 4: Uh, I'm surprised. That's like that should be the obvious,
- 41:13Speaker 4: that should be surface level. Yes, oh, this guy again
- 41:16Speaker 4: like a Dutch model, whatever, football player, Olympic athlete, et cetera.
- 41:19Speaker 4: That's that should be obvious. They should be reserved for
- 41:22Speaker 4: I live in this city. Here's a dude clearly from
- 41:25Speaker 4: this city. Yeah, he might be a skis ball what
- 41:27Speaker 4: do you know?
- 41:28Speaker 3: Yeah, And that's kind of that's how it started at least,
- 41:30Speaker 3: and that's what it's supposed to be. And some guys
- 41:32Speaker 3: will just tell. Some girls will just tell you like,
- 41:34Speaker 3: he looks cute, have fun, you know, like there it's
- 41:37Speaker 3: just it's yes, pretty girl, and neslie like I don't
- 41:41Speaker 3: have any dirt on this guy. And then others will
- 41:43Speaker 3: just tell, oh my god, like eighteen paragraph sagas of
- 41:46Speaker 3: how he done did her wrong?
- 41:49Speaker 4: Now that was well, women love to do that.
- 41:52Speaker 3: But here's the thing, sebas and menace. A lot of
- 41:55Speaker 3: these girls will turn on those girls and be like,
- 41:57Speaker 3: sounds like you're your standards are crazy, sounds like this
- 42:00Speaker 3: is a you problem. So they will turn on each other.
- 42:03Speaker 4: That's so odd for women to do that.
- 42:07Speaker 3: Well, here's like I said, I can't read. I'm not
- 42:10Speaker 3: going to read directly from the site. But here's a
- 42:12Speaker 3: couple examples that absolutely rule this. One girl said she
- 42:17Speaker 3: dated a guy for two years and then they split
- 42:19Speaker 3: up for a few weeks, and she's trying to figure
- 42:21Speaker 3: out if he should if she should take him back
- 42:23Speaker 3: because he's like, you know, coming back, crawling back, and
- 42:25Speaker 3: she just wants some advice. And everybody waited in one
- 42:28Speaker 3: comment or said to her, Okay, I have to reword
- 42:31Speaker 3: this a little because the way she said it was
- 42:33Speaker 3: way more direct. But it was do you take crap
- 42:36Speaker 3: out of the toilet and then put it back up
- 42:39Speaker 3: where it came from? No, then why are you taking
- 42:42Speaker 3: back your ex I.
- 42:43Speaker 4: Mean flawless analogy.
- 42:44Speaker 10: Yeah, and then there's just just screenshots of dudes that
- 42:51Speaker 10: are like, you know, I'm so uh you know, ready
- 42:55Speaker 10: right now, and the girl's like, I'm not interested in
- 42:57Speaker 10: that kind of talk.
- 42:58Speaker 4: He's like, okay, well you're a fat pitch.
- 42:59Speaker 8: Anyway.
- 43:02Speaker 4: That's a classic thing, Like tell me, is there any
- 43:05Speaker 4: guy that's ever worked for That's a great question. But
- 43:08Speaker 4: I think it's more it's guys just just expressing their
- 43:12Speaker 4: ego's very.
- 43:13Speaker 3: Exactly, like, what are the odds that someone's gonna be like,
- 43:15Speaker 3: oh really?
- 43:16Speaker 17: You up?
- 43:16Speaker 16: Oh wow?
- 43:18Speaker 4: So a lot of those I know that's what you
- 43:20Speaker 4: want me to say, and it totally works both ways. Yeah,
- 43:23Speaker 4: men are exactly the same as women.
- 43:24Speaker 3: Ladies and ladies only if you're interested. That's a pretty
- 43:28Speaker 3: decent account to join.
- 43:29Speaker 4: Okay, okay, could you give you some of the exact
- 43:31Speaker 4: names of these things? Oh what do you mean the
- 43:35Speaker 4: exact names of the.
- 43:37Speaker 3: Sorry I thought I said that, are we dating the
- 43:38Speaker 3: same guy?
- 43:39Speaker 1: Okay?
- 43:42Speaker 3: I just stick with the O G I'm not trying
- 43:44Speaker 3: to start drama.
- 43:45Speaker 4: But are there? Are we dating the same guy for Houston?
- 43:48Speaker 9: Yeah?
- 43:49Speaker 3: Said, there's different different.
- 43:51Speaker 1: Okay, and you have to accept it.
- 43:54Speaker 3: Correct.
- 43:55Speaker 8: It's like Facebook marketplace, but.
- 43:58Speaker 1: Right, okay, that's nice. Along these lines, Sea Bass is
- 44:01Speaker 1: going to provide a PSA for the world dating profile
- 44:05Speaker 1: does and don'ts because he knows what's up with that.
- 44:08Speaker 4: I love it.
- 44:09Speaker 9: I love it.
- 44:17Speaker 4: Can I ask you another question?
- 44:19Speaker 6: Do you hate it when you feel like you got
- 44:22Speaker 6: a bad haircut but then everyone says, oh, your hair
- 44:25Speaker 6: looks really nice. Did you get a haircut? And then
- 44:27Speaker 6: they keep on complimenting you about it because like my
- 44:30Speaker 6: last haircut, I feel got cut like way too short.
- 44:33Speaker 6: Oh and you know I could be part of, like,
- 44:36Speaker 6: you know, a lesbian biker game. But like, it's just
- 44:39Speaker 6: I hate when you get complimenting. You're like, no, it's
- 44:42Speaker 6: it's not.
- 44:43Speaker 1: You're not supposed to think, yeah, it's nice.
- 44:45Speaker 12: I know.
- 44:46Speaker 4: I mean because you're obsessed with haircuts.
- 44:47Speaker 1: I am in a perfect world, once a week I
- 44:50Speaker 1: would get a haircut.
- 44:51Speaker 3: That's crazy.
- 44:52Speaker 1: I would love to do that, but I don't want
- 44:54Speaker 1: to bother Mario that much. He cuts my hair and
- 44:56Speaker 1: every time I need a haircut, I is it okay
- 45:00Speaker 1: if you give me a haircut today?
- 45:02Speaker 3: Have you ever now this is for both of you.
- 45:04Speaker 3: One it just goes to a you know, barber shop,
- 45:06Speaker 3: I assume, yeah, and one has their Do you ever
- 45:10Speaker 3: get to a point where it's like, oh, this isn't
- 45:13Speaker 3: going well and you say something like if you didn't like.
- 45:15Speaker 6: Your head or but that's what if it's like too long,
- 45:19Speaker 6: then you can say something but the screen it's too late.
- 45:22Speaker 1: Yeah, but you know me, Gina, No, I just good.
- 45:26Speaker 1: I love it and in my head I'll exit at
- 45:28Speaker 1: home somehow I'll just style it differently.
- 45:31Speaker 6: Yeah, but I'm sure that happens with outfits too, like oh,
- 45:35Speaker 6: like somebody will compliment you all day, like, oh, the
- 45:37Speaker 6: alpha looks great.
- 45:38Speaker 3: You know No, I'm pretty easily led. So if somebody
- 45:41Speaker 3: likes it, I'll be like, oh, I guess I was wrong.
- 45:43Speaker 3: I guess it's a good outfit.
- 45:45Speaker 4: No, trust your god, it looks terrible.
- 45:48Speaker 5: Sometimes it feels like they're saying they like it just
- 45:50Speaker 5: because it's different, and they don't.
- 45:52Speaker 8: There's nothing I don't know to say.
- 45:54Speaker 3: Now that's a choice.
- 45:56Speaker 4: Not good at all.
- 45:57Speaker 6: But yeah, luckily my hair grows really quickly, so it's
- 46:00Speaker 6: going back a little bit.
- 46:01Speaker 3: But men's for whatever it's worth. I don't remember you
- 46:02Speaker 3: having a bad haircut never ever. Ever, it wasn't like
- 46:06Speaker 3: whatever haircut you're referring to. It's not jumping out too short.
- 46:09Speaker 4: Man, you sure hate it.
- 46:11Speaker 1: I think your hair is your I was going to
- 46:13Speaker 1: say your best quality. That would be pretty bad. I
- 46:16Speaker 1: think is one of your good qualities. And Greg, I
- 46:20Speaker 1: love your hair. I have hair envy because whatever you
- 46:25Speaker 1: do to it, it always looks kind.
- 46:26Speaker 4: Of well, imagine what it looks like below the belt.
- 46:29Speaker 1: Right, what does that hair look like?
- 46:31Speaker 4: That's a thicket.
- 46:33Speaker 1: Sea Bass has some dating profiles, do's and don'ts coming
- 46:37Speaker 1: up for your hair on the Woody Show show. We
- 46:43Speaker 1: are back on your Friday morning Woody Show, and I
- 46:46Speaker 1: think we all agree that Sea Bass is a modern
- 46:48Speaker 1: day saint.
- 46:49Speaker 4: Oh yeah, he.
- 46:50Speaker 1: Gives, he gives, He gives, he gives.
- 46:51Speaker 4: That's meaning a life to make everybody else that is riier.
- 46:54Speaker 1: Exactly exactly. Now you're going to give us some do's
- 46:57Speaker 1: and don'ts.
- 46:58Speaker 4: Yeah, we've talked a lot about how what guys do
- 47:00Speaker 4: wrong online and on dating profiles and that list is extensive. Yeah,
- 47:05Speaker 4: it's extensive, and it's all accurate, and it's all well deserved. However,
- 47:09Speaker 4: that does not mean that women do not have their
- 47:11Speaker 4: own problems that can be addressed. And there are the
- 47:16Speaker 4: classic ones that you always hear about. But I still
- 47:18Speaker 4: see all the time, like group photos. Yeah, which it's
- 47:23Speaker 4: so there's so many apps these days. We get a
- 47:25Speaker 4: little smiley face over somebody or blur out or whatever.
- 47:27Speaker 4: But I'll still see there's six girls and guess what.
- 47:30Speaker 4: I always play a little game. The one whose profile
- 47:32Speaker 4: it is is always the worst looking in the group.
- 47:36Speaker 4: I don't know if the girls are doing that on purpose.
- 47:38Speaker 3: Oh, that seems like a bad idea, that didn't help you.
- 47:41Speaker 1: Seem like they would do it the other way around, right,
- 47:43Speaker 1: But look at me compared to them.
- 47:45Speaker 4: Ninety plus percent of the time, they are the worst one.
- 47:48Speaker 4: Even if it's two, three, ten, whatever, they have the
- 47:50Speaker 4: worst one.
- 47:50Speaker 1: In the group.
- 47:51Speaker 4: And you see, but you see that that's a that's
- 47:52Speaker 4: a general piece of advice. But again, people are still
- 47:54Speaker 4: doing it. So and you need to bears being repeated.
- 47:56Speaker 4: Ladies Again, guys are gross. They don't care, They're like,
- 47:59Speaker 4: why are you trying to.
- 48:01Speaker 3: You're just giving them more options with more friends.
- 48:03Speaker 4: Yeah, exactly. Uh, that's a big one. The other one
- 48:06Speaker 4: that I've that I'm seeing a lot is women who
- 48:09Speaker 4: post photos that they love of themselves, but it does
- 48:13Speaker 4: nothing for the guy. And look, guys do this too.
- 48:17Speaker 4: The classic example is the fishing fish. Yeah, I see guys.
- 48:22Speaker 4: Gurls don't care that you caught a fish.
- 48:24Speaker 3: Quite the opposite.
- 48:25Speaker 4: But women have a similar thing they do where they
- 48:28Speaker 4: post a photo they get You never see those and
- 48:30Speaker 4: maybe menace you probably know best of all people, those
- 48:33Speaker 4: big bouquets of flowers that are like there, like three
- 48:36Speaker 4: dozen roses and they're so perfectly arranged. Is there a
- 48:40Speaker 4: name for.
- 48:41Speaker 6: That, I should know, gigantic bouquet.
- 48:48Speaker 4: Yeah, but it's perfect, right, and it's so perfect anyway.
- 48:51Speaker 4: But girls love posting because they like it and their
- 48:54Speaker 4: girlfriends like it. But all it tells a guy is
- 48:57Speaker 4: some guy, you right, yeah, somebody? Well number one, it
- 49:00Speaker 4: tells them that you're expensive, which you might say, I'm
- 49:02Speaker 4: trying to weed out the poor guys. I get that,
- 49:04Speaker 4: but now I think it's that. And they post themselves
- 49:07Speaker 4: with like a little tiny like deserted, a nice restaurant
- 49:10Speaker 4: with a little flat with a little candle, looking yeah,
- 49:12Speaker 4: looking cute, like I know you like that photo and
- 49:15Speaker 4: your girlfriends like that photo, but it does nothing for guys.
- 49:17Speaker 4: It just shows it quite frankly, you're possibly high maintenance.
- 49:22Speaker 4: But the number one thing, the reason I bring this
- 49:24Speaker 4: up is there's a new trend that I've noticed that
- 49:26Speaker 4: he is awful and it is the I'm writing. I'm
- 49:31Speaker 4: Maya Angelou. I'm writing a poem in my description. What
- 49:36Speaker 4: I'll give you an example from Dina and the prompt
- 49:40Speaker 4: is teach me something about blanklet like and she says,
- 49:45Speaker 4: a concept that made you pause, reframe, or rethink things
- 49:49Speaker 4: out the brain energy or something you'd casually share that
- 49:54Speaker 4: makes me smile, pause and think about it all day.
- 49:57Speaker 4: Are you writing captures? Like are you trying to write
- 50:00Speaker 4: mark greeting cars?
- 50:00Speaker 3: You guys remember the J. Peterman catalog. That's what this is.
- 50:05Speaker 4: Like, Yeah, it's like, it's it's not so smart. People
- 50:07Speaker 4: thinking they're being poem.
- 50:08Speaker 3: Post stood out on the balcony and wondered about sombrero.
- 50:13Speaker 4: Here's another one. This is from Galia. She says, this
- 50:16Speaker 4: year I want to blank like black elevate areas in romance,
- 50:20Speaker 4: career and wellness. Uh huh, find a best friend and
- 50:22Speaker 4: a partner, achieve an accolade, its continue learning new things
- 50:27Speaker 4: around health and wellness. What kind of like qwief dudes
- 50:30Speaker 4: are they trying to?
- 50:31Speaker 1: Like, I was thinking, like, who is going to respond
- 50:33Speaker 1: to that? It's to be kind of guy that you
- 50:35Speaker 1: probably don't want to meet.
- 50:36Speaker 3: Well, Yeah, and it sounds like she's looking for a
- 50:38Speaker 3: new girl bestie or.
- 50:40Speaker 4: She's writing a resume. This is all overwritten garbage like, oh,
- 50:43Speaker 4: this is a combination again of poetry and management talk.
- 50:47Speaker 1: Yeah, the guy that would respond to that has a
- 50:49Speaker 1: man bun yes, right, belongs.
- 50:54Speaker 4: To a co op ye some like yoga spiritual retreat.
- 50:58Speaker 4: And here's here's another version of this. This is from
- 51:00Speaker 4: low is They they write a version of these over
- 51:03Speaker 4: overwritten poetic like trying to make a fun Instagram caption.
- 51:06Speaker 4: But again, this is how stupid people think. Smart people
- 51:08Speaker 4: talk and then but they say things that are that
- 51:12Speaker 4: no guy could argue with. So green flags I look
- 51:14Speaker 4: for in a guy, blank like like kindness, curiosity, integrity, humor,
- 51:20Speaker 4: and openness are my big green flags.
- 51:22Speaker 1: Obvious.
- 51:23Speaker 4: Ah, everyone, it sounds stupid. You sound like you're trying
- 51:28Speaker 4: to be important. But number two, that's just the basics.
- 51:32Speaker 1: I was gonna say. Isn't it just like saying I
- 51:34Speaker 1: would like to meet somebody who isn't mean to me obviously,
- 51:37Speaker 1: Oh God, I want you to be kind and pleasant
- 51:40Speaker 1: to be around.
- 51:41Speaker 4: And she continues, by the way, so is a commitment
- 51:44Speaker 4: to mindfulness and growth, whether through therapy, there you go, meditation,
- 51:48Speaker 4: or movement. It helps us feel grounded, connected and alive.
- 51:51Speaker 4: But it's weird they always say that, but then the
- 51:53Speaker 4: guys that they end up with are not that. I argue,
- 51:57Speaker 4: nobody is that.
- 51:58Speaker 1: Nobody talks like that. Yeah. True, And I would put
- 52:01Speaker 1: the word grounded in the same category as empowerment. It
- 52:05Speaker 1: sounds pa but it means almost nothing, which is.
- 52:09Speaker 4: People say, stee best, you hate slang and like stupid
- 52:12Speaker 4: word greg just now that I hate words that are
- 52:14Speaker 4: just genericans.
- 52:17Speaker 1: I feel empowered to do fill in the blanks.
- 52:20Speaker 3: Not that you need any more on your plate right now,
- 52:22Speaker 3: but I'm wondering if you could you could be hired
- 52:27Speaker 3: for women to basically give you their bio and then
- 52:30Speaker 3: translate it into something a man would actually be interested.
- 52:33Speaker 4: You know, I I hear what you're saying.
- 52:34Speaker 1: But wouldn't they hate that?
- 52:36Speaker 3: Probably? But don't they want a man?
- 52:39Speaker 4: Here's the problem is, guys. All I'm saying is that
- 52:42Speaker 4: guys will see that stupidity and that overwritten nonsense and
- 52:46Speaker 4: they just don't care if you're like you're But but
- 52:53Speaker 4: I guess my main point about this is you're just
- 52:54Speaker 4: wasting your time. I mean, you're turning off the super
- 52:58Speaker 4: cool guys like myself obviously, the ones that are actually noticing.
- 53:02Speaker 4: The guys who are actually reading this, you're turning them
- 53:04Speaker 4: off because they're like, Oh, this dumb bitch thinks she's
- 53:05Speaker 4: like sh she thinks she's again, she thinks she's clever,
- 53:09Speaker 4: but she's not. She's she's like an hr person writing something.
- 53:12Speaker 4: And then there's me heads that are not reading anything there,
- 53:15Speaker 4: which is, by the way, ninety nine percent of the
- 53:16Speaker 4: dudes on these things.
- 53:17Speaker 3: Yeah, that's so funny because girls be reading that stuff.
- 53:22Speaker 3: So it's so funny how you don't even notice that.
- 53:25Speaker 4: Go back to my original point is do women when
- 53:28Speaker 4: you write stupid stuff like that, and there's thousands of
- 53:30Speaker 4: these examples, do you think that's what a guy wants
- 53:34Speaker 4: to read? Or is that what you want to write,
- 53:35Speaker 4: you're hoping to attract. That's what you want to read
- 53:38Speaker 4: about yourself, right, But but again, no one talks like this.
- 53:41Speaker 4: Here's one from a girl I recently discovered blank blank blank.
- 53:46Speaker 4: I have clarity about what I want. Do you need
- 53:49Speaker 4: and desire a relationship? I value health, abundance, peace and devotion.
- 53:52Speaker 4: If you have emotional intelligence, empathy and humor, hate you.
- 53:58Speaker 4: This is like every person who goes to Burning Man.
- 53:59Speaker 4: It's like a it's it's a one oh five I qya.
- 54:06Speaker 3: So basically, what you're saying is they're going to track
- 54:08Speaker 3: one night stands that just goes some hard.
- 54:11Speaker 4: Nobody wants to put up with this long term. But
- 54:12Speaker 4: what I'm actually saying is you're not attracting anything. You're
- 54:15Speaker 4: not filtering anything because guys don't care. All you're doing
- 54:18Speaker 4: is sounding like an idiot.
- 54:20Speaker 3: And do you and do you swipe on these ladies?
- 54:23Speaker 4: I swipe left, because yeah, this is I know you.
- 54:26Speaker 3: Don't want these ladies because they're hot.
- 54:29Speaker 4: Yeah, they'd have to be so hot. Yeah, Because this
- 54:35Speaker 4: is just this is again, this is this is someone
- 54:37Speaker 4: who because when I talked to this girl, she's not
- 54:39Speaker 4: going to talk like that. So it's just a waste.
- 54:41Speaker 4: You're wasting your time and your energy when you could
- 54:45Speaker 4: be telling me something about your actual personality, even a
- 54:48Speaker 4: real generic nothingness.
- 54:50Speaker 1: It's two different worlds. But to be fair or at
- 54:53Speaker 1: least impartial, when you're writing almost anything, you're writing in
- 54:58Speaker 1: a different way than the way you would speak. If
- 54:59Speaker 1: I'm if I have a complaint about something I'm and
- 55:02Speaker 1: I'm writing a letter to something.
- 55:04Speaker 9: Do you matter right?
- 55:05Speaker 1: I purchased such and such. I would never say purchased
- 55:07Speaker 1: In real life, I would say I bought a couch.
- 55:10Speaker 3: No, that's a great point.
- 55:11Speaker 1: So when you're writing a profile, shouldn't you put effort
- 55:14Speaker 1: into writing the profile?
- 55:16Speaker 4: I would say, put effort into being way more concise.
- 55:19Speaker 4: Women like we were talking about with Gina and these
- 55:21Speaker 4: these they love to go on and on and on,
- 55:24Speaker 4: and I'm like, here's what I'm convinced that blank blank black.
- 55:27Speaker 4: Life's greatest joy comes from sharing with someone who truly
- 55:29Speaker 4: understanding and supportful, meaningful collection we wrote together inspire each
- 55:33Speaker 4: other to build a future full of live read that
- 55:35Speaker 4: far exactly. Give me something funny, you give me like
- 55:39Speaker 4: a one sentence.
- 55:40Speaker 1: That's the one I totally agreed with right there.
- 55:43Speaker 4: That was sweet.
- 55:43Speaker 1: But do you think like this Greg kind of.
- 55:48Speaker 3: Craig's not the right audience.
- 55:50Speaker 5: But even even if you did, the point is is
- 55:52Speaker 5: that anyone reading it on the other end, if they
- 55:54Speaker 5: did care, would go like, oh, yeah, that's me.
- 55:56Speaker 8: I'm nice, I'm all of these.
- 55:58Speaker 4: Things, And to that point, just screen out anybody.
- 56:01Speaker 1: Right, because it's so vague and generally, no.
- 56:04Speaker 4: I don't feel I don't want to care about a
- 56:05Speaker 4: meaningful connection where we grow to yeah, oh.
- 56:08Speaker 1: No, no, I just want one night's.
- 56:10Speaker 4: Those guys are still getting in your inbox, stupid.
- 56:16Speaker 1: We are back here on the Woody Show and we
- 56:18Speaker 1: just dipped into the fabulous prizes from Morgan's t or p.
- 56:23Speaker 1: Oh my god, there's this one chip. Is it lays
- 56:26Speaker 1: Brand I believe Chinese lace, And it's called numb and spicy.
- 56:30Speaker 3: Numb and spicy I won't.
- 56:31Speaker 1: Even try it's both. It's so it's weird.
- 56:34Speaker 4: It smells, like we said, like a like the garbage
- 56:37Speaker 4: behind an old natural food.
- 56:38Speaker 1: Yeah, mixed with algae and mustard.
- 56:42Speaker 3: It hurts so bad. But it's one of these things
- 56:44Speaker 3: where the aftertaste gets weaponized and it gets even worse
- 56:48Speaker 3: as you let.
- 56:49Speaker 1: It l Yeah. And then there's the Italian red meat flavor,
- 56:52Speaker 1: which at first I thought they were pretty good, but
- 56:54Speaker 1: then I waited about three or four minutes between chips,
- 56:57Speaker 1: and then on the second go around, but not terrible.
- 57:01Speaker 1: We tried terrible, We did try.
- 57:03Speaker 7: Thank you.
- 57:03Speaker 1: Morgan Woody and Jeff g are back on Monday. Normally
- 57:06Speaker 1: jeffg would be given US sports right now, but in
- 57:08Speaker 1: sports adjacent news, the Dodgers became the first MLB team
- 57:12Speaker 1: to gross over a billion dollars in revenue last year.
- 57:15Speaker 1: Date's gross, of course, that's according to ESPN, and it's
- 57:18Speaker 1: because of one man.
- 57:20Speaker 3: Want to guess who oh does his name start with.
- 57:23Speaker 1: Yes, that's correct, show Hey Otani. He earns one hundred
- 57:26Speaker 1: million a year off the field, off the field from
- 57:29Speaker 1: sponsorships and ads. He signed a ten year, seven hundred
- 57:32Speaker 1: million dollar contract right before the twenty twenty four season,
- 57:34Speaker 1: and he's making two million a year from it until
- 57:37Speaker 1: the final year after deferring six hundred and eighty million
- 57:40Speaker 1: bucks to the end of the contract.
- 57:42Speaker 4: So oh, that news.
- 57:44Speaker 1: That's not the news. But ESPN describes the Dodgers as
- 57:48Speaker 1: a show. Hey Otani shell corporation, all the tourists, business
- 57:53Speaker 1: opportunities and merchandise sales that they've brought in after signing Otani.
- 57:56Speaker 1: And it's estimated that the Dodgers will gross over a
- 57:59Speaker 1: billion again.
- 58:00Speaker 4: Yes, right, this goes back to the old Bobby Bonia think.
- 58:03Speaker 4: You're like, oh, the Mets are so stupid for paying
- 58:05Speaker 4: Bobby Bonia a million dollars. No, no, no, no no, they it's
- 58:09Speaker 4: generated so much and they's putting it on basically layaway
- 58:13Speaker 4: interest on it exactly. So it's not a.
- 58:15Speaker 6: Bad but like Spider Man made a billion dollars in
- 58:17Speaker 6: a weekend to do that show.
- 58:19Speaker 4: Hey, yeah, well I don't know if if he can
- 58:21Speaker 4: do spider Man show. Hey, spider Man, everyone spider Man.
- 58:26Speaker 3: Speaking of show, Ay, I have this podcast recommendation. I'm
- 58:28Speaker 3: completely caught up on. I've listened to all five episodes
- 58:31Speaker 3: so far. It's unbelievable. It's called The Betrayal of Show.
- 58:34Speaker 3: Hey O Tani. It's put out by ESPN and ESPN
- 58:36Speaker 3: investigative reporter Tisha Thompson. It's so good. It's obviously it's
- 58:41Speaker 3: about the betting scandal he got wrapped up in with
- 58:43Speaker 3: his bestie and interpreter. You pay Misahara and you think
- 58:46Speaker 3: you know what happened.
- 58:48Speaker 4: I don't, actually, okay, I also know.
- 58:49Speaker 3: Everybody, Okay, I just want to address this for people
- 58:52Speaker 3: who are like eh, I already know. They addressed the
- 58:54Speaker 3: theory that Epay is taking the fall for show hey
- 58:57Speaker 3: right away, so it's super in interesting. They kind of
- 59:01Speaker 3: they talk about that, they get that out of the way,
- 59:03Speaker 3: they talk to they talk to the bookie that got
- 59:05Speaker 3: caught up in this, so many others. It's got sports,
- 59:09Speaker 3: it's got true crime.
- 59:09Speaker 4: I would love to know that.
- 59:11Speaker 3: It is unbelievable. I cannot wait for the next episode.
- 59:15Speaker 3: It's they have betrayal of showani.
- 59:17Speaker 4: Real Housewives references. Are you wait?
- 59:23Speaker 3: There's a okay you do actually because the bookie's best
- 59:26Speaker 3: friend is one of the dating husbands, you have a
- 59:29Speaker 3: feeling that you might actually that's.
- 59:32Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 59:34Speaker 3: So it is really unbelievable. Tisha Thompson is an unbelievable reporter.
- 59:37Speaker 3: I couldn't do what she does. She's really mean to
- 59:39Speaker 3: these guys and really straightforward. I'd be like, oh no,
- 59:42Speaker 3: it's fine. She holds their feet to the fire. So
- 59:45Speaker 3: definitely check it out one more time. The title the
- 59:47Speaker 3: betrayal of show. Heo Tani.
- 59:49Speaker 1: Okay, that's great. A Friday morning woodie show, even.
- 59:56Speaker 3: The best kind.
- 59:56Speaker 1: And it's a big, big day for Morgan. Morgan, I
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: gotta give you some crap. You're jealous of me, that
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: first raging jealous. You're off to Japan to see your man. Yeah,
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: you've known about this for about a week about he
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: did special shopping for it. You leave in a matter
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: of hours, correct, and you haven't packed yet? What the hell?
- 1:00:20Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: What's wrong with you?
- 1:00:23Speaker 7: But I haven't physically everything in the suitcase.
- 1:00:28Speaker 12: No, this is what I do every time, Like if
- 1:00:30Speaker 12: I have a flight after work for whatever, I will
- 1:00:33Speaker 12: stay up all night like I did last night, you know,
- 1:00:35Speaker 12: throw things in a suitcase, and then I don't the
- 1:00:38Speaker 12: adrenaline of like will I make it? I love that.
- 1:00:44Speaker 7: There's something wrong with me.
- 1:00:46Speaker 4: This is a good way to lose a man, by
- 1:00:47Speaker 4: the way, Yeah, yeah, you have to go first class
- 1:00:52Speaker 4: and you can't, like you can't get the crap together. Yeah, exactly, I.
- 1:00:56Speaker 7: Always have my crap together.
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: He doesn't have to know this part.
- 1:00:59Speaker 4: He doesn't have to listen to you haven't.
- 1:01:01Speaker 12: However, I my system is I've never missed a flight.
- 1:01:03Speaker 12: I always get, I'm gonna.
- 1:01:04Speaker 3: Tell you, do you know what you're gonna do? You
- 1:01:06Speaker 3: know what you're gonna wear on the flight, because remember
- 1:01:08Speaker 3: this was a big topic of conversation.
- 1:01:11Speaker 12: Uh yeah, I think I'm just gonna wear a pair
- 1:01:12Speaker 12: of sweatpants and like the tank.
- 1:01:14Speaker 3: Top Okayan top.
- 1:01:16Speaker 12: Well, okay, Sammy just flew first class and she says
- 1:01:19Speaker 12: she wore sweats, she laid.
- 1:01:20Speaker 4: Down, but she's white trash.
- 1:01:23Speaker 8: They were cute, way more white.
- 1:01:27Speaker 4: Okay, that's true. But number one, thank you, number.
- 1:01:31Speaker 8: One, you're faking the first clash. She'll have a blanket
- 1:01:35Speaker 8: and others.
- 1:01:37Speaker 3: Are you worried more? Seabasts about when she lands or
- 1:01:39Speaker 3: being on the actual plate.
- 1:01:40Speaker 12: Again, I'm gonna have a change of clothes before I
- 1:01:43Speaker 12: get off the plane.
- 1:01:44Speaker 4: Okay, that's that's that's a good start. But again the
- 1:01:46Speaker 4: point being, you are representing eure up in America to Japan.
- 1:01:50Speaker 4: And I always said about Japan clean kind, fashionable, freaking fashionable,
- 1:01:55Speaker 4: not just not trash. You know people people are dressed
- 1:01:58Speaker 4: like they are not going to a sleepover, essentially.
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: But yours are nice and you're well, here's you present
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: them well?
- 1:02:06Speaker 12: SeaBus I could show you a picture of a Hawk
- 1:02:08Speaker 12: girl or any girl right in a cute pair of sweatpants,
- 1:02:12Speaker 12: you know, her boobies.
- 1:02:13Speaker 3: Propped up and a tata.
- 1:02:15Speaker 12: Cute jewelry, and you'd be like, oh, she looks good.
- 1:02:18Speaker 12: So like, I don't get the problem.
- 1:02:19Speaker 4: It's not about looking good or hot, it's about looking
- 1:02:21Speaker 4: respectful to the people of Japan. Well, I'm just.
- 1:02:23Speaker 7: Last person exactly.
- 1:02:25Speaker 4: Well, then then you're just perpetrating the stereotype and doing
- 1:02:28Speaker 4: exactly what I don't want to have happened to my
- 1:02:30Speaker 4: great friends in Japan.
- 1:02:31Speaker 6: They're not gonna lessen anymore, exactly. They're already limiting the
- 1:02:35Speaker 6: amount of people going in on your plate.
- 1:02:38Speaker 3: You don't need to worry about representing all of them.
- 1:02:40Speaker 7: I'm not the first white trash bitch to go to Japan.
- 1:02:42Speaker 4: So that's exactly the problem right there, is.
- 1:02:47Speaker 3: Crazy.
- 1:02:48Speaker 4: I didn't lashing out being accurate by the Let's talk
- 1:02:52Speaker 4: about some fun stuff. Yeah, yeah, what to do?
- 1:02:57Speaker 7: Uh we land.
- 1:02:58Speaker 12: I just found out what hotel will be it and
- 1:02:59Speaker 12: it's really really nice. Oh my gosh, the bat girl.
- 1:03:05Speaker 12: So and then we're gonna go to dinner with the team.
- 1:03:07Speaker 12: And that's all I know.
- 1:03:08Speaker 3: Okay, and you have an extra outfit obviously for that.
- 1:03:11Speaker 12: Oh, I have in my mind mentally, I have seven
- 1:03:14Speaker 12: pairs of shoes I'm taking.
- 1:03:15Speaker 8: I have You're gonna be there for like five days?
- 1:03:18Speaker 12: Yeah, okay, you know, chets of heels, shoes for walking. Yeah,
- 1:03:25Speaker 12: and then yeah, I'm taking tons outfits. That's my problem
- 1:03:27Speaker 12: with packing is I don't have like, Okay, this is
- 1:03:30Speaker 12: what I'm wearing today and tomorrow and Friday.
- 1:03:33Speaker 3: I need to know what you know, you gone vibes.
- 1:03:35Speaker 12: I take tons of stuff and then whatever looks hottest
- 1:03:38Speaker 12: that day.
- 1:03:38Speaker 4: Though I get that you would not understand that. Guys, Okay,
- 1:03:43Speaker 4: the guys don't care if you have if it's brown heels,
- 1:03:45Speaker 4: black heels, tan heels like what I know girls do.
- 1:03:48Speaker 4: But why but you shouldn't do? Is what I'm saying.
- 1:03:49Speaker 3: No, No, the other girls will judge her.
- 1:03:52Speaker 12: It's not for him, it's not for other girls. It's because,
- 1:03:54Speaker 12: like Greg said, the meaning of life, it's to be
- 1:03:56Speaker 12: esthetically pleasing.
- 1:03:57Speaker 7: I want to like my outfit. I want to feel
- 1:03:59Speaker 7: good in it.
- 1:04:00Speaker 4: M hm and right.
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: It's not every decision she makes is will guys like this?
- 1:04:05Speaker 4: Just how the people I'm saying is one pair of
- 1:04:09Speaker 4: black heels should cover all.
- 1:04:10Speaker 12: Of that, And I'm not even taking a pair of
- 1:04:12Speaker 12: black heels, So take that pair of I'm taking new heels.
- 1:04:16Speaker 7: I'm taking some what are they called the kitten heels that.
- 1:04:19Speaker 3: Are really hot right now.
- 1:04:20Speaker 7: They kind of look like flip flops. I'm just doing
- 1:04:23Speaker 7: this a pissy of.
- 1:04:24Speaker 3: What you're taking kitten heel flip flops? They're heels, okay,
- 1:04:28Speaker 3: it with the split toe.
- 1:04:30Speaker 12: And then I'm taking some new Balances and some Adidas.
- 1:04:33Speaker 4: And then I got some Chanel flats.
- 1:04:36Speaker 12: No, not Chanelle, but they're a different brand. But what
- 1:04:38Speaker 12: are they're like the Adidas. There's a name for him, yes, Sambas.
- 1:04:42Speaker 4: Yeah, well that's good. Yeah, well I mean Sambas.
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:04:46Speaker 6: They're super hot right now and they fit the vibe
- 1:04:48Speaker 6: of a japan So that's good.
- 1:04:50Speaker 4: So any other questions, Well, again, Gina, when you looked
- 1:04:54Speaker 4: up appropriate things for a Japanese flight first class, you.
- 1:04:59Speaker 3: Can wear a sweatsuit as long as you have a
- 1:05:02Speaker 3: really lovely trench coat over it.
- 1:05:04Speaker 8: Yeah wait, are you serious?
- 1:05:06Speaker 3: Yeah that looks put more put together. But yeah, a
- 1:05:09Speaker 3: lot of it was like pantsuits. But I don't see
- 1:05:11Speaker 3: Morgan Rock in a pantsuit. Yeah, that's appropriate. Also, it's
- 1:05:15Speaker 3: balls hot and it's humid.
- 1:05:17Speaker 4: I can't wait.
- 1:05:18Speaker 3: So there's that. My friends are there right now, and
- 1:05:21Speaker 3: they said the vending machine food is the best vending masue,
- 1:05:25Speaker 3: like frozen melon.
- 1:05:27Speaker 6: And like you even go to like subway stop like
- 1:05:31Speaker 6: they will have a little Marcus, you have the best
- 1:05:33Speaker 6: food that you've ever had in your life. And you're
- 1:05:35Speaker 6: like three floors down in the subway and even.
- 1:05:38Speaker 3: The seven eleven has bidet. So if you need to
- 1:05:40Speaker 3: freshen up on Ago, you'll be okay.
- 1:05:43Speaker 12: And I got poopery because last time I was freaking out.
- 1:05:47Speaker 12: Oh my god, where am I gonna poop?
- 1:05:49Speaker 6: And the lobby Oh no no, Yeah, you go down
- 1:05:51Speaker 6: a lobby that's a lobby in a bush.
- 1:05:53Speaker 4: You don't like poop with the guy.
- 1:05:56Speaker 3: Everything's in English, and you're in a high end hotel
- 1:05:59Speaker 3: with American stuf there they'll help you.
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:06:01Speaker 4: All the signs have Japanese anglers in Tokyo.
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: It's very easy, good nice.
- 1:06:05Speaker 13: Yeah.
- 1:06:05Speaker 3: You probably just should need for five days.
- 1:06:07Speaker 12: Oh I haven't and I'm not going to, which it
- 1:06:10Speaker 12: sucks because I want it.
- 1:06:11Speaker 7: I'm flying first class. Have I mentioned that, and I
- 1:06:13Speaker 7: want to drink.
- 1:06:15Speaker 4: You know, no, don't drink on face.
- 1:06:17Speaker 7: But I'm not going on the way back.
- 1:06:18Speaker 3: Are you going to do a skincare routine on the plane?
- 1:06:21Speaker 7: I do? My friend hugs me up with this whole set.
- 1:06:23Speaker 3: She's ready, She's good.
- 1:06:25Speaker 7: I'm ready. So see if I suck.
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: It flying without drinking, she was like a nightmare.
- 1:06:31Speaker 7: Even when it's free, Like I'm wasting her. I'm wasting
- 1:06:33Speaker 7: his money.
- 1:06:34Speaker 12: Right.
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: Well, when you land, god forbid you text me and
- 1:06:36Speaker 1: let me know you landed safe.
- 1:06:40Speaker 4: Do you have an m already installed?
- 1:06:41Speaker 15: No?
- 1:06:42Speaker 7: I looked into that. I'm just going to use WhatsApp.
- 1:06:44Speaker 3: Yeah, okay, okay.
- 1:06:46Speaker 4: I'm not on Wi Fi.
- 1:06:47Speaker 7: You mean, I don't know.
- 1:06:49Speaker 4: Is not to like text them, is to like have service.
- 1:06:52Speaker 7: Listen, I'm lucky I got my passport.
- 1:06:54Speaker 4: She doesn't. Yeah what currently spectrum? Oh yeah, I was like, yeah,
- 1:07:01Speaker 4: T Mobile, you'll be fine phones. Yeah they do. I
- 1:07:04Speaker 4: know that. Yeah. So you're not getting that text greg, Okay,
- 1:07:07Speaker 4: well you're gonna get it on WhatsApp.
- 1:07:08Speaker 6: Okay, yeah, WHATSAPPT just that Starbucks I told you to
- 1:07:11Speaker 6: go to put you in the center of everywhere.
- 1:07:13Speaker 7: I'm sure, the hotel will have wife.
- 1:07:15Speaker 1: You'll figure it out. Figure it out, have a great time.
- 1:07:18Speaker 4: Thank you.
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: We'll be right back. And we're back already on the
- 1:07:26Speaker 1: Woody Show of Friday Morning, August the seventh, Greg Menace, Gina, Sammy,
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: Sea Bass, Sport Bond, Menji Morgan, everybody but Woody and
- 1:07:36Speaker 1: Jeff g They're going to be back on Monday. Right now,
- 1:07:40Speaker 1: I'm a little bit sus but Sea Bass says he's
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: got some Dugan News. Yea special edition.
- 1:07:46Speaker 4: There's an emergency special edition of Dugan News. And I
- 1:07:50Speaker 4: imagine this would have come across your desk as well.
- 1:07:52Speaker 4: But John Barenthal, he is the he's a pun of sure,
- 1:07:56Speaker 4: he's been. It was came out. He's the walking Dead
- 1:07:58Speaker 4: was kind of his big first mainstream things and a
- 1:08:00Speaker 4: thousand different things. Well, he has an interview this week.
- 1:08:03Speaker 4: A bunch of headlines about John Bereenthal defending pit bulls.
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: Excellent.
- 1:08:08Speaker 4: Now this is actually an older interview, but I guess
- 1:08:10Speaker 4: the reason it came out is because the Howard Durn
- 1:08:12Speaker 4: channel published it this week on their YouTube channel. But
- 1:08:14Speaker 4: here is John talking about his three dugans.
- 1:08:17Speaker 15: My dogs are the greatest and they're they're the myth
- 1:08:21Speaker 15: of the pit bull is a lot of pop.
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: You got to stop that. Pit Bulls don't attack. It's
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: just racism. It's just dog racism. If a pit bull
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: bites you, it's going to suck. You know.
- 1:08:30Speaker 15: They're no more likely to bite you than a chihuahu
- 1:08:32Speaker 15: or any other breeded dog.
- 1:08:34Speaker 4: So it probably has more to do with who owns
- 1:08:36Speaker 4: them and how they were trained.
- 1:08:37Speaker 15: Yeah, I think that a lot of knuckleheads, unfortunately, are
- 1:08:39Speaker 15: attracted to that breeded dog. And to me, you know,
- 1:08:43Speaker 15: when I see some wanna be gangster getting pulled down
- 1:08:45Speaker 15: the Venice Beach by his pit bull, and I'm like,
- 1:08:48Speaker 15: you feed that he's pulling you down there?
- 1:08:50Speaker 1: You know, to me, that's not manly or strong at all.
- 1:08:53Speaker 4: You know, I think you got to train your dog.
- 1:08:55Speaker 1: Okay, he's right, That's what I've been saying. And I
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: remember seeing this quote this week and and reading it
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: and agreeing with it. I didn't realize it was him
- 1:09:03Speaker 1: who said it right, right, But he's totally right. It's
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: the owner that it's not just the breed. I told you,
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: and you refuse to listen. I know two people in
- 1:09:11Speaker 1: my past that were literally mauled like their faces got bitten,
- 1:09:15Speaker 1: and they were both cases Cocker spaniels. I got bitten
- 1:09:19Speaker 1: in the nose by a Chihuahua, and I got bitten
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: in the scrotum by an Australian sheep dogs or an
- 1:09:25Speaker 1: Australian shepherd.
- 1:09:26Speaker 4: Again, all these anecdotes are wonderful, but they don't have
- 1:09:29Speaker 4: they don't address.
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: So you said this was a special edition that I
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: would not be expecting, and now you're just going down
- 1:09:34Speaker 1: the same breedist and let's face it, dog racist.
- 1:09:37Speaker 4: Man, dog racism. I shouldn't make the argument because Greg's
- 1:09:41Speaker 4: not going to listen to me. And that's even though
- 1:09:43Speaker 4: I might be a thousand percent right, He's not going
- 1:09:44Speaker 4: to listen to me. However, this also came out this
- 1:09:47Speaker 4: week in response. There's a guy, a dog trainer named
- 1:09:50Speaker 4: Sotny Dennis. He has he's been doing this for forty years.
- 1:09:54Speaker 4: He has a big farm in Kentucky. He takes a genie.
- 1:09:57Speaker 4: You might send your little dog to him. Oh, he
- 1:09:59Speaker 4: takes a twenty eight day boardings little pip. Yeah, he's
- 1:10:03Speaker 4: trained thousands of dogs, knows more than any everybody in
- 1:10:06Speaker 4: this room, times one hundred. He knows exactly what's going on.
- 1:10:09Speaker 4: And he's trained a lot of pit bulls. He turned
- 1:10:11Speaker 4: a lot of problematic pit bulls that have biting other issues.
- 1:10:14Speaker 4: And this is a video this again made the round
- 1:10:16Speaker 4: this week thanks to John Barenthal and where he's he's
- 1:10:19Speaker 4: got a pit on his little like obstacle course that
- 1:10:20Speaker 4: he trains him.
- 1:10:21Speaker 16: On dable and he brings this up Max, about a
- 1:10:24Speaker 16: five and a half month old pit bull mix. We
- 1:10:26Speaker 16: won't talk so much about pit bulls exactly. We'll just
- 1:10:28Speaker 16: talk about big square headed dogs because all of the
- 1:10:31Speaker 16: big square headed dogs kind of have at some point
- 1:10:34Speaker 16: in their origin story ancestors who were bred to fight
- 1:10:37Speaker 16: other dogs, or fight game animals, or engage in some
- 1:10:40Speaker 16: other type of exhibitionary violence.
- 1:10:43Speaker 3: Oh, it's in their blood.
- 1:10:45Speaker 4: Because Stony's heard all the all the rebuttals he's heard, Oh,
- 1:10:49Speaker 4: pit bulls aren't the nanny dock. No they are not.
- 1:10:52Speaker 4: They were bred to fight bulls as in cows in pits.
- 1:10:57Speaker 4: That's where their name came from. Again, as he said,
- 1:11:00Speaker 4: and he said, I don't want to hear about well,
- 1:11:01Speaker 4: and he's also addressed there, I don't hear well, that's
- 1:11:03Speaker 4: not technically a pit bull this is that.
- 1:11:04Speaker 1: He also addressed that pit bull is not technically a breed, right.
- 1:11:07Speaker 4: But he said description and he's bucket headed, right. But
- 1:11:10Speaker 4: he says like he says, I know it when I
- 1:11:12Speaker 4: see it. I deal with him all the time. So
- 1:11:13Speaker 4: forget that. I'm talking about big, big, squareheaded him. Well,
- 1:11:17Speaker 4: and he cuts to the chase here, Yes, it is
- 1:11:19Speaker 4: the breed.
- 1:11:20Speaker 16: Okay, it might not be the specific breed that follows
- 1:11:23Speaker 16: the bloodlines as they're outlined in the breed registries, but
- 1:11:26Speaker 16: it's the type, and we all know the type. It's
- 1:11:28Speaker 16: like the Supreme Court talks about pornography. You know what
- 1:11:31Speaker 16: when you see it, I know a pit bull mixed
- 1:11:33Speaker 16: when I see him.
- 1:11:34Speaker 4: So he addresses it. He says like, yeah, he's because
- 1:11:38Speaker 4: I hear that too. He's like, well, actually that's not
- 1:11:39Speaker 4: a real one. Blah blah blah, because you'll se that
- 1:11:41Speaker 4: under under like every every headline about pitbull, Mall's toddler.
- 1:11:44Speaker 4: Well that's not actually a pit bull. That's a bla
- 1:11:46Speaker 4: b dude. No, non't forget it.
- 1:11:48Speaker 1: I know the type. I know.
- 1:11:49Speaker 4: I've been doing this again thousands of times. And he says,
- 1:11:52Speaker 4: it's that they're bred like this and this is the reality.
- 1:11:54Speaker 9: Listen.
- 1:11:55Speaker 16: I got a lot of buddies that like this kind
- 1:11:57Speaker 16: of dog, and they really generally don't have any problems
- 1:11:59Speaker 16: with them because they never forget what kind of dog
- 1:12:01Speaker 16: they are and they manage them in a way that's
- 1:12:03Speaker 16: appropriate for the type. But somebody just sent me a
- 1:12:06Speaker 16: news story where lady had a dog like this and
- 1:12:09Speaker 16: killed her baby, and she was there, she watched it happen,
- 1:12:12Speaker 16: and she couldn't control the dog.
- 1:12:14Speaker 4: Okay, probably, But again, here's the thing, is that that
- 1:12:20Speaker 4: goes to Doberman's are not that that's a thinner headed dog.
- 1:12:24Speaker 3: That's true, they're not bucket heeaded.
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: But no, but I'm saying I'm sure do again, that
- 1:12:28Speaker 1: is the That is.
- 1:12:29Speaker 4: The cherry picking fallacy that Greg is employing right now.
- 1:12:32Speaker 4: When you look at the number of deaths by breed
- 1:12:35Speaker 4: and breed type each year, pit bulls, dwarf, dwarf, so
- 1:12:40Speaker 4: every combined.
- 1:12:42Speaker 1: I'm not disagreeing with the data. What can I say.
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: I've had two pit bulls, both one of them was
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: more aggressive than the other. The one I currently have
- 1:12:51Speaker 1: is the sweetest dog on the She's so sweet. I
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: don't understand what your endgame is like you've pointed out
- 1:12:59Speaker 1: the data find the the most dangerous breed of all time, past, present,
- 1:13:02Speaker 1: in future. They are a danger to the world. What
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: else do you want to add to that? Mine rules
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: and a lot of people I.
- 1:13:10Speaker 4: Don't have to add anything too.
- 1:13:11Speaker 3: That's a fact.
- 1:13:12Speaker 1: I'm just giving an I don't understand what your purpose is.
- 1:13:16Speaker 16: Stony, You'll tell you people will get a dog like this,
- 1:13:18Speaker 16: and they'll be like, well, if you train it right
- 1:13:20Speaker 16: or if you raise it right, then it won't do
- 1:13:23Speaker 16: that kind of stuff. That's not necessarily true, number one.
- 1:13:26Speaker 16: But then number two, most people that have dogs, they
- 1:13:29Speaker 16: don't really do that good a job of training them.
- 1:13:31Speaker 16: So when you have these kind of dogs and they're
- 1:13:32Speaker 16: running around killing your neighbor's dogs, they're they're they're biting
- 1:13:35Speaker 16: a mailman, they're killing babies, you just have to accept
- 1:13:37Speaker 16: the fact that, like, people don't need to have this
- 1:13:39Speaker 16: kind of dog really because most of the time they're
- 1:13:41Speaker 16: not going to learn to train them right, they're going
- 1:13:43Speaker 16: to learn to manage them right, and a lot of
- 1:13:44Speaker 16: times they're just going to literally lack the physical capacity
- 1:13:47Speaker 16: to manage the dog if it doesn't want to be managed.
- 1:13:50Speaker 4: So what does this guy I want to do?
- 1:13:51Speaker 1: Just like you could say cherry picking for the eighteenth time,
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: what he just said could happen with any dogs.
- 1:13:58Speaker 3: And like what he say he said, it's the trainer.
- 1:14:02Speaker 3: It's like you know Seeson Milons there says I I
- 1:14:04Speaker 3: rehabilitate dogs. I train people.
- 1:14:07Speaker 4: What he's say and what he's saying, this dog is
- 1:14:09Speaker 4: so dangerous that it should not be that when it
- 1:14:13Speaker 4: does get loose, unlike a Chihuahua or a chod Cocker spaniel,
- 1:14:16Speaker 4: it severe death, severe mauling occurs. So and you can say,
- 1:14:21Speaker 4: well just train them, well, well, just it doesn't work
- 1:14:24Speaker 4: because anybody, anybody, any loser can go get a pit
- 1:14:26Speaker 4: bull and stony finishes up here.
- 1:14:29Speaker 16: For normal people, these types of dogs are very dangerous
- 1:14:31Speaker 16: and the negative externalities related to owning this type of dogs,
- 1:14:36Speaker 16: in my opinion, is not fair to externalize that type
- 1:14:38Speaker 16: of risk onto your neighbors.
- 1:14:40Speaker 4: So that's his answer. He's saying that like the average
- 1:14:42Speaker 4: person cannot and should not own a pit bull because
- 1:14:45Speaker 4: they are too dangerous and too violent. And this guy
- 1:14:47Speaker 4: knows because he's seen thousands of them. So this guy
- 1:14:49Speaker 4: wants to just.
- 1:14:50Speaker 1: Arat So what's the endgame here, and what is your
- 1:14:54Speaker 1: end game?
- 1:14:54Speaker 4: I would say mine, and I think Stoney would agree
- 1:14:56Speaker 4: to me, would say, we do what many countries have
- 1:14:59Speaker 4: done and heavily restrict or band pitbulls. Now doesn't mean
- 1:15:02Speaker 4: you have to go out and euthanize them all, but
- 1:15:03Speaker 4: just stop breeding them, and you don't allow breeding except
- 1:15:06Speaker 4: by very very specialized professionals like Stoney here. Well, I
- 1:15:09Speaker 4: know there's areas in like Denver where they don't even
- 1:15:11Speaker 4: allow them in certain agree and many countries have this problem.
- 1:15:15Speaker 4: So Greg, I knew you were I know you wouldn't
- 1:15:16Speaker 4: listen to me.
- 1:15:17Speaker 1: But this is a guy.
- 1:15:18Speaker 4: This is a segment that he would like.
- 1:15:20Speaker 1: I know first of all, mega liars, nuclear liar. This
- 1:15:25Speaker 1: is going to be a special edition. And I said,
- 1:15:27Speaker 1: oh good, here we go again. Breeds breed Us Britius. No, no, no,
- 1:15:31Speaker 1: it's not going to be liked at all. Trust me.
- 1:15:32Speaker 1: Why don't you believe me?
- 1:15:33Speaker 4: It's going to be great? Great, So I got brought it.
- 1:15:35Speaker 1: Now it's now you're cherry picking. They're dangerous. I don't
- 1:15:39Speaker 1: know what you're endgame.
- 1:15:40Speaker 4: I just told you what my own game was, ban
- 1:15:42Speaker 4: and slowly eliminated.
- 1:15:43Speaker 1: Okay, cool. Get working on that legislation.
- 1:15:45Speaker 4: Me and Sotny will. But okay, maybe this makes you
- 1:15:47Speaker 4: feel better, Greg, I.
- 1:15:48Speaker 1: Don't need to feel better. I'm fine pointing out that
- 1:15:52Speaker 1: you're a nuclear liar.
- 1:15:53Speaker 4: I mean these soothing sounds. I'm not Stony's, I'm not beaving.
- 1:15:57Speaker 4: Stony is not the soothing sounds of Sarah McLaughlin, who
- 1:16:00Speaker 4: animals YEA love her, sooth your and she.
- 1:16:08Speaker 3: This video shows a guy being mauled by two pitbulls.
- 1:16:13Speaker 4: A pit bull goes on the attack in New Jersey
- 1:16:15Speaker 4: and chased down this little girl.
- 1:16:18Speaker 5: The family who lives here says they've had the twelve
- 1:16:20Speaker 5: year old pit bull since it was a puppy haul
- 1:16:22Speaker 5: and trusted it around children, but today it attacked a
- 1:16:26Speaker 5: five year old boy.
- 1:16:27Speaker 1: What we've got both attacking a child whining a chat
- 1:16:31Speaker 1: around by our faith neighbors are attending to get the
- 1:16:33Speaker 1: dogs off.
- 1:16:35Speaker 16: They have witnessed multiple pitfull attacks in the last year,
- 1:16:39Speaker 16: but since then, they claim not much has been done
- 1:16:41Speaker 16: to stop the dogs from possibly attacking again.
- 1:16:44Speaker 13: An eleven year old boy was attacked by fetch pitbull
- 1:16:47Speaker 13: dog while he was playing at a box near his house.
- 1:16:50Speaker 8: God a toddler is home recovering tonight. He needed more
- 1:16:54Speaker 8: than two hundred stitches after a.
- 1:16:57Speaker 7: Pit bull attack on Tuesday.
- 1:17:00Speaker 3: Protect you, if you loved you, protect them.
- 1:17:06Speaker 4: I feel better.
- 1:17:09Speaker 1: Again. I don't need to feel better. This texter said
- 1:17:12Speaker 1: it so well. Talk about cherry picking. When you include
- 1:17:14Speaker 1: half a dozen different breeds of dogs into one type
- 1:17:17Speaker 1: of dogs aka pitbull, let me finish. Of course, the
- 1:17:22Speaker 1: date is going to show that more people die because
- 1:17:26Speaker 1: of that type versus a type of from one specific breed,
- 1:17:30Speaker 1: And you're the one.
- 1:17:33Speaker 4: That's That's the point he addressed. He cut you off
- 1:17:35Speaker 4: on that point. He said, I know the pitbull and
- 1:17:38Speaker 4: pit bull mixed when I see them. They all have
- 1:17:40Speaker 4: these same traits, right, and that includes multiple types of dogs.
- 1:17:48Speaker 1: Just the doverer man.
- 1:17:50Speaker 4: He cut you. He cut this point out from under
- 1:17:52Speaker 4: you to begin with. And you're not paying attentions to No.
- 1:17:54Speaker 14: I get what you say of gaslighting gods, the professional
- 1:17:59Speaker 14: they professional trainers, the guest lighter.
- 1:18:01Speaker 1: And this text too. Agreed with Greg. What's the purpose
- 1:18:04Speaker 1: of this for me to say, Okay, I guess I'll
- 1:18:05Speaker 1: go home and kill my daughter. No, I just don't
- 1:18:08Speaker 1: get your end game. It's ponderous it's exhausting.
- 1:18:13Speaker 2: Get it.
- 1:18:15Speaker 1: To get because of which it circles back to the
- 1:18:19Speaker 1: original question. Then go work on the legislation and try
- 1:18:22Speaker 1: to eradicate the breed. I don't effing get it anything.
- 1:18:25Speaker 1: What is your purpose? Do you think that band pit
- 1:18:29Speaker 1: apparently for the.
- 1:18:33Speaker 4: And you're not.
- 1:18:33Speaker 1: We need a break, good God, we need to play
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: the d u i Q and I'm literally seabst will
- 1:18:38Speaker 1: just take that segment over all right? Eight seven seven
- 1:18:42Speaker 1: four Woodie, if you want to play, I'm too exhausted
- 1:18:45Speaker 1: to even think about it. I don't even understand the point,
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: but I do understand the d u i Q. Eight
- 1:18:51Speaker 1: seven seven. We are back here on the Woody Show,
- 1:18:58Speaker 1: and every Friday morning we played duiq, and so we
- 1:19:02Speaker 1: handed over to Steve Bass.
- 1:19:03Speaker 4: Yeah, I asked a very drunk person, very easy trivia questions,
- 1:19:07Speaker 4: and then you played the duiq. Not by guessing or
- 1:19:10Speaker 4: knowing the answer to the question. Everyone already knows the answer.
- 1:19:13Speaker 4: You play by guessing whether the drunk person one of
- 1:19:15Speaker 4: the answer and if you can guess correctly whether they
- 1:19:17Speaker 4: know two out of three times you went.
- 1:19:19Speaker 1: And our contestant today is going to be Steven in
- 1:19:23Speaker 1: Long Beach, I do believe Steven. What's up?
- 1:19:26Speaker 15: Hey?
- 1:19:27Speaker 17: What else?
- 1:19:27Speaker 1: Guys?
- 1:19:28Speaker 16: What else?
- 1:19:30Speaker 9: All right?
- 1:19:30Speaker 4: Stephen?
- 1:19:31Speaker 1: Ryan?
- 1:19:32Speaker 9: Good?
- 1:19:32Speaker 4: Thanks for asking Steven. You're very quick, you're very kind.
- 1:19:34Speaker 1: It's very sweet.
- 1:19:35Speaker 4: Ryan is our drunk subject. And to give you some
- 1:19:37Speaker 4: more info. And Ryan, I'm going to talk to him
- 1:19:39Speaker 4: in a moment and the rest of you all will
- 1:19:41Speaker 4: realize that Ryan is well. Maybe just give him a
- 1:19:44Speaker 4: minute when he answers things. Ryan, you're out with your friends.
- 1:19:47Speaker 4: Where'd they go?
- 1:19:50Speaker 1: Good?
- 1:19:50Speaker 9: They're going this way.
- 1:19:51Speaker 4: But you're here by yourself, which is okay. Yeah, So
- 1:19:55Speaker 4: what if you had to drink this evening again? We
- 1:19:56Speaker 4: were talking about.
- 1:19:58Speaker 1: When I had a drink.
- 1:20:01Speaker 9: Alcohol?
- 1:20:03Speaker 4: How much would you say?
- 1:20:06Speaker 2: Beer? Yes?
- 1:20:07Speaker 9: Yes, I mean yeah, beer? Probably one or two?
- 1:20:13Speaker 4: Uh you sure?
- 1:20:14Speaker 1: Just one or two?
- 1:20:15Speaker 9: Maybe three or four?
- 1:20:17Speaker 4: A little bit of a delay.
- 1:20:18Speaker 2: Yeah, he.
- 1:20:20Speaker 4: Might be he's on satellite from the other side of
- 1:20:22Speaker 4: the world.
- 1:20:22Speaker 13: Uh huh.
- 1:20:23Speaker 4: So that is Ryan there, and your first again, first
- 1:20:27Speaker 4: question will be uh given to you. But we're gonna
- 1:20:30Speaker 4: also play with Menace and Sammy here in studio because
- 1:20:34Speaker 4: it's always fun to hear what they think the right
- 1:20:35Speaker 4: answer is, even though even though they're not drunk. Here's
- 1:20:40Speaker 4: question number one for Ryan. What person is often called
- 1:20:44Speaker 4: r BG for short. Okay, Greg, you can't help them
- 1:20:49Speaker 4: by saying this is your hero and I know back tattoo.
- 1:20:52Speaker 1: That's true.
- 1:20:53Speaker 4: That's true, although I did just give some big hints
- 1:20:55Speaker 4: you did.
- 1:20:57Speaker 1: I'm gonna say yes to Sammy, no to menace, and
- 1:21:02Speaker 1: no to the drunk Ryan.
- 1:21:05Speaker 3: I am piggybacking on that. I say yes to the lady,
- 1:21:08Speaker 3: no to the gents.
- 1:21:11Speaker 4: What about you, Stephen, I'm gonna agree to I'm gonna
- 1:21:16Speaker 4: say yes lady. You can just guess on menace and
- 1:21:22Speaker 4: save me for fun. First question menace?
- 1:21:25Speaker 1: Yep.
- 1:21:26Speaker 4: What person is often called r b G for short
- 1:21:31Speaker 4: Ruth Beta Ginsburg hold.
- 1:21:36Speaker 8: Beta Fish.
- 1:21:41Speaker 4: I'll give it all right, So who she is? You know,
- 1:21:46Speaker 4: Stephen said, Ryan would not know, correct, let's find out questions.
- 1:21:50Speaker 4: It is often called RBG for short r b G.
- 1:21:56Speaker 9: Gainesburg's you know what, Judges.
- 1:21:59Speaker 4: I'll tell you what. I'm gonna hold that one as
- 1:22:02Speaker 4: a toss up. That was a maybe for gains Board
- 1:22:06Speaker 4: because the standard of they accept that on Jeopardy. No,
- 1:22:09Speaker 4: of course no.
- 1:22:10Speaker 3: But it's the spirit of the game, not the letter
- 1:22:11Speaker 3: of the game.
- 1:22:12Speaker 4: So yeah, we'll hold that as a maze if it
- 1:22:14Speaker 4: might be a tiebreaker if necessary. We now go to
- 1:22:18Speaker 4: question number two. Give me any example of a palindrome.
- 1:22:23Speaker 3: Oh, that's a good one.
- 1:22:26Speaker 4: Don't define it. Give me an actual example.
- 1:22:28Speaker 1: Oh well then triple no, definitely right.
- 1:22:33Speaker 2: I mean I.
- 1:22:36Speaker 3: I might be team Sammy on this one. I might
- 1:22:38Speaker 3: say yes to Sammy, no to Menace and Ryan?
- 1:22:42Speaker 1: All right?
- 1:22:43Speaker 4: All right, and Steven, what do you think? Will again?
- 1:22:46Speaker 4: Just just a guessing on Ryan? Will Ryan give an
- 1:22:48Speaker 4: example of a palindrome? Correctly?
- 1:22:52Speaker 16: I know?
- 1:22:53Speaker 4: Not even question number one for Sammy. First, give me
- 1:22:56Speaker 4: any example of a palindrome?
- 1:22:59Speaker 3: Race car?
- 1:23:00Speaker 4: Oh, menace, space shuttle.
- 1:23:05Speaker 1: Launch, space shuttle launch.
- 1:23:09Speaker 4: Yeah, that changes Sammy. But now Sammy, Sammy was correct?
- 1:23:13Speaker 4: Can you explain? Explain Menace? Why was Sammy correct?
- 1:23:16Speaker 1: So sorry? I didn't have more faith than you said.
- 1:23:18Speaker 4: How dare you? Why was Sammy correct?
- 1:23:21Speaker 1: Race car?
- 1:23:23Speaker 4: Because it was two words and one? Two words and one?
- 1:23:28Speaker 4: How because it was a description. How do we give
- 1:23:36Speaker 4: other examples? Have a race car and I have space shuttle?
- 1:23:41Speaker 3: Can Greg and I go back and forth?
- 1:23:42Speaker 4: Give please?
- 1:23:45Speaker 17: Hannah, Radar, Mom, Bob level Dad. I looked up race car.
- 1:23:58Speaker 4: Mom, Mom, Wow, it's also Bob. For folks who are listening,
- 1:24:04Speaker 4: Greg's doing that arrow right, arrow left.
- 1:24:08Speaker 3: Anyone say a man, a plant, canal, Panama?
- 1:24:10Speaker 1: No, Hannah, Hannah, cool keeping words. Look, so Bob, bob
- 1:24:23Speaker 1: this way, that way?
- 1:24:26Speaker 4: Race car Let me see are A C E C
- 1:24:30Speaker 4: A R? Leave it there?
- 1:24:34Speaker 1: All right?
- 1:24:35Speaker 4: We will never know, but that's a point for our players.
- 1:24:41Speaker 1: Launch not quite a way.
- 1:24:43Speaker 4: Necessarily. We'll see, I'll tell you, we'll see. It depends
- 1:24:45Speaker 4: on what question three if he gets the tie breaker.
- 1:24:47Speaker 4: Here is question number three? Wait, wait, what was the Yeah,
- 1:24:52Speaker 4: I'm sorry.
- 1:24:52Speaker 1: I thought we were going to revisit that as well.
- 1:24:54Speaker 1: Right word that is this the same when you spell
- 1:24:57Speaker 1: it forward and backwards? Yeah?
- 1:24:59Speaker 4: All right? Sorry, yea, I jumped I jumped ahead because
- 1:25:02Speaker 4: I know the answer. Here's the answer for question to
- 1:25:04Speaker 4: give me any example of a palindrome.
- 1:25:08Speaker 9: Palin drome, like like a forward and backwards?
- 1:25:11Speaker 4: Yes, what's an example of that?
- 1:25:14Speaker 9: Why are you saying something and not giving me an
- 1:25:15Speaker 9: example of that?
- 1:25:16Speaker 4: Is an example from you?
- 1:25:18Speaker 1: That's the question, you guys, example, What do you mean?
- 1:25:23Speaker 4: I don't know what to do with it.
- 1:25:25Speaker 3: It's just a bunch of half points.
- 1:25:27Speaker 4: Now would be considered slang, but it's also a pal Yeah, yeah,
- 1:25:34Speaker 4: thank you. Here's there's I love these long versions, like
- 1:25:38Speaker 4: like Gina said, with a man of plan a nut
- 1:25:40Speaker 4: for a jar of tuna. No one would say that.
- 1:25:45Speaker 4: That's not the point. The point is it's fun to
- 1:25:48Speaker 4: think of that because they're like little puzzles. A man
- 1:25:50Speaker 4: a planet can now paramak taco about you would use
- 1:25:56Speaker 4: taco cat.
- 1:25:57Speaker 1: Yeah, cat, that's a fun one.
- 1:25:59Speaker 4: Heard all right, So Steven, he has a point and
- 1:26:01Speaker 4: a half. Let's say question number three on the d U,
- 1:26:05Speaker 4: I Q, what is the title of the movie they
- 1:26:07Speaker 4: gave us the Minions? Okay, we just had it. We
- 1:26:10Speaker 4: had a new one of these recently. I know because
- 1:26:11Speaker 4: they had a Wendy's tie in pop culture.
- 1:26:13Speaker 1: Yeah, I have to think about that for one.
- 1:26:16Speaker 4: Now, I wouldn't expect you to know because you don't
- 1:26:18Speaker 4: have kids.
- 1:26:19Speaker 3: I definitely know it.
- 1:26:20Speaker 1: I can see it in my head. But yes to Madison, Sammy.
- 1:26:25Speaker 1: This Ryan guy doesn't even know up from down.
- 1:26:29Speaker 4: Parking.
- 1:26:31Speaker 3: I want to take a guess and what he's gonna say.
- 1:26:33Speaker 1: Oh, I know it now, I'm gonna say yes to
- 1:26:38Speaker 1: the medicine, Sammy.
- 1:26:39Speaker 3: No to Ryan, Well, Sammy's been on a hot streak.
- 1:26:42Speaker 3: I'm I think Sammy's gonna sweep. And let's get crazy.
- 1:26:45Speaker 3: Let's say triple yes for this.
- 1:26:48Speaker 4: All right, Steven, do you think only our drunk rhyme?
- 1:26:50Speaker 4: Do you think Ryan will know the answer to this question?
- 1:26:53Speaker 4: Not dominions. I'm gonna say no, no, okay, this is
- 1:27:00Speaker 4: for the win. First, for menace. The question what is
- 1:27:03Speaker 4: the title of the movie that gave us the minions?
- 1:27:06Speaker 15: Uh?
- 1:27:07Speaker 6: Universal, that's the studio. Yeah, but I thought it started
- 1:27:11Speaker 6: I didn't. I have not seen one second of any
- 1:27:14Speaker 6: of those movies, so I don't know.
- 1:27:15Speaker 4: All right, And Samuy, would you help them mount?
- 1:27:17Speaker 8: That would be despicable me?
- 1:27:18Speaker 1: That's correct.
- 1:27:21Speaker 4: I thought it was like Universal's Despicable okay, featuring the
- 1:27:25Speaker 4: voice of Steve. Yeah, I haven't looked it up. That's
- 1:27:28Speaker 4: gotta be approaching like Shrek level because they've made so
- 1:27:30Speaker 4: many of those. They've always been off their insane It
- 1:27:32Speaker 4: makes so much money.
- 1:27:34Speaker 3: Can I give? Can I get He's gonna say something
- 1:27:37Speaker 3: like demandable me?
- 1:27:42Speaker 1: All right?
- 1:27:43Speaker 4: Well, Steve, and he said no, correct, yes, correct, No,
- 1:27:47Speaker 4: there we could be in confusing ourselves. But for the
- 1:27:48Speaker 4: win question answer three, what is the title of the
- 1:27:51Speaker 4: movie that gave us the minions.
- 1:27:54Speaker 9: I don't know.
- 1:27:55Speaker 1: That's a horrible movie.
- 1:27:57Speaker 4: It was for kids, though, kids are you didn't even try?
- 1:28:02Speaker 9: That is a winner for you. Yeah, that riot guy
- 1:28:11Speaker 9: was Oh that was weird.
- 1:28:12Speaker 3: I didn't even understand Stephen. That was a tough put
- 1:28:15Speaker 3: for you. So congratulations.
- 1:28:17Speaker 4: Uh menace. You want to do some more palindromes? Uh no,
- 1:28:22Speaker 4: just want please for me to come up with the one.
- 1:28:26Speaker 4: Uh nana.
- 1:28:32Speaker 3: No, but I will give you the Indian bread. None,
- 1:28:36Speaker 3: thank you.
- 1:28:36Speaker 1: That's I mean this one. Menace?
- 1:28:38Speaker 4: Ufo tofu. I don't like this game. Hurts my brain.
- 1:28:45Speaker 1: It seems to make you sad.
- 1:28:46Speaker 4: It does extra swept.
- 1:28:49Speaker 7: Yeah I did.
- 1:28:50Speaker 8: I did a great job.
- 1:28:52Speaker 4: Sham we get it.
- 1:28:54Speaker 1: Space Shuttle should have counted.
- 1:28:55Speaker 4: Yeah, thank you, thank you, thank you.
- 1:28:58Speaker 1: That's how you do the d u i Q whatever
- 1:29:00Speaker 1: that was.
- 1:29:01Speaker 3: Yeah, that was crazy.
- 1:29:06Speaker 1: Yes, Woody Show Friday morning, we are back.
- 1:29:10Speaker 2: Yep.
- 1:29:11Speaker 3: I have well, I have a big question for so
- 1:29:14Speaker 3: A very dear friend of mine who works in the
- 1:29:16Speaker 3: building on another station, he texted me. He just texted me.
- 1:29:21Speaker 3: It says, is this a cart narks special? I got
- 1:29:24Speaker 3: nabbed in the parking garage, Like, what is he talking about?
- 1:29:27Speaker 4: There are no carts in our parking garage.
- 1:29:28Speaker 13: That's why I was confused. Well, it could be from
- 1:29:32Speaker 13: the Whole Food Yeah, I walked it across the street. Well,
- 1:29:36Speaker 13: somebody put this on his car. It's a big sign.
- 1:29:39Speaker 13: It has pictures of like a driver in a in
- 1:29:42Speaker 13: a you know driving you know, like in a little seat. Yeah,
- 1:29:46Speaker 13: and it says warning, this person is parked in the
- 1:29:49Speaker 13: visitor area and they are not a visitor.
- 1:29:51Speaker 3: They're a full time employee who is too lazy.
- 1:29:55Speaker 4: That does speak to cart, to.
- 1:29:56Speaker 3: Park in an inappropriate to park in an appropriate space.
- 1:30:00Speaker 3: If they are this lazy and will lie about this,
- 1:30:03Speaker 3: what else will they lie about. Yeah, that's a good question, Seabas.
- 1:30:07Speaker 3: I mean this is kind of an impromptu hot seat.
- 1:30:10Speaker 4: Right right, right, Well, first off, I agree with the
- 1:30:11Speaker 4: sentiment of that is that it was not it was
- 1:30:13Speaker 4: a not a magnet or a stick or anything like that.
- 1:30:16Speaker 4: I think it's like a flyer, just a flyer, because
- 1:30:18Speaker 4: I mean I would have if it were me. Obviously
- 1:30:21Speaker 4: I use magnets. That's my that's my by trade. But no,
- 1:30:26Speaker 4: but I do agree with no, I did not, but
- 1:30:28Speaker 4: I do agree with the sentiment people be parking in
- 1:30:32Speaker 4: the visitors spot because and it and people and I
- 1:30:35Speaker 4: think it kind of started as many things did over
- 1:30:37Speaker 4: during the coronavirus times because we didn't have visitors in
- 1:30:40Speaker 4: the buildings. And so the way third folks wh don't
- 1:30:42Speaker 4: know the way our parking lot is laid out. The
- 1:30:44Speaker 4: first row is either open slash reserve seating a seating
- 1:30:47Speaker 4: parking see the reserve space for the very important people,
- 1:30:50Speaker 4: or just a couple of open spots. The second row
- 1:30:52Speaker 4: is and it's not it's not hard to see big
- 1:30:55Speaker 4: green v visitor. And the third row is open parking. Again,
- 1:30:58Speaker 4: so what you're supposed to do is if you get
- 1:31:00Speaker 4: or later in the day and when the first row
- 1:31:02Speaker 4: of good spots are taken, you just go to the
- 1:31:04Speaker 4: third row because we do have visitors during the day.
- 1:31:06Speaker 4: We have visards on the show. We've had people come
- 1:31:09Speaker 4: to this building who have I can't find any visitor
- 1:31:11Speaker 4: parking or the other three floors of parking.
- 1:31:16Speaker 1: The visitor parking is a little redundant. It's not really
- 1:31:18Speaker 1: needed per se. The parking lot is huge.
- 1:31:21Speaker 4: Right, but I think what it does is greg if
- 1:31:23Speaker 4: I if I pulled into an office building that I've
- 1:31:26Speaker 4: never been before, and right up front, Yeah, I'd say okay,
- 1:31:28Speaker 4: because I would be afraid if I parked elsewhere, that's
- 1:31:30Speaker 4: parking in somebody's spot. I'm not supposed to be there.
- 1:31:33Speaker 4: So if there's a visitor, okay, I know that's where
- 1:31:34Speaker 4: I'm supposed to go. So I again, I fully agree
- 1:31:37Speaker 4: with this. Do we know that it's not from the building?
- 1:31:39Speaker 2: Man?
- 1:31:40Speaker 4: I fully doubt that.
- 1:31:43Speaker 3: What else are they lying about?
- 1:31:44Speaker 4: Yeah, I would question the person's morals and character? Yeah,
- 1:31:48Speaker 4: I doubt it.
- 1:31:48Speaker 3: But when I used to work on a different station,
- 1:31:51Speaker 3: I would work at night, I would park anywhere. I
- 1:31:53Speaker 3: damn well please, I kind of do that at this state.
- 1:31:56Speaker 3: You know, it's like we we get up in the
- 1:31:58Speaker 3: middle of the night, like, who am I heard? Well,
- 1:32:00Speaker 3: that's it's not business hours, right. But I think the
- 1:32:03Speaker 3: thing is this guy if it is, oh, this is
- 1:32:05Speaker 3: business hours right.
- 1:32:06Speaker 4: And besides, by the way, we're here so early that
- 1:32:08Speaker 4: we don't need to worry about that because there are
- 1:32:10Speaker 4: plenty of open spots. And I agree with you, like,
- 1:32:12Speaker 4: and that goes back to the maybe the cardon ARCS
- 1:32:14Speaker 4: is and people are like you only care about the
- 1:32:16Speaker 4: rules now, I care about the consequences, Like Gina is saying,
- 1:32:19Speaker 4: if it's overnight, who cares. But if you're actively blocking
- 1:32:23Speaker 4: let's say the visitor parking, Yeah that is and just
- 1:32:26Speaker 4: because you're lazy. So it sounds like I wrote this.
- 1:32:28Speaker 3: I mean this really all signs point to you, like
- 1:32:32Speaker 3: you might be convinced that you wrote that.
- 1:32:33Speaker 2: But I.
- 1:32:35Speaker 4: Was just telling Greg that because I would get a
- 1:32:37Speaker 4: call because someone else is breaking the rules. Okay, this
- 1:32:41Speaker 4: reeks of you, it does, it does, But I was
- 1:32:43Speaker 4: telling Greg who else? But then that the the influence
- 1:32:46Speaker 4: of Carton arks is spreading. New York City just this
- 1:32:48Speaker 4: week started putting shame style stickers on people that don't
- 1:32:52Speaker 4: move for street cleaning. And it's it says, I can
- 1:32:54Speaker 4: pull it up right here, this vehicle, this vehicle Violet
- 1:32:57Speaker 4: nmyc street cleaning rules. As a result, it's street can
- 1:33:00Speaker 4: be properly cleaned, help keep streets save. So there are
- 1:33:03Speaker 4: very much there, very much following the Carton Arks shaming.
- 1:33:06Speaker 1: Oh good for them, but pretend they care about keeping
- 1:33:09Speaker 1: New York clean.
- 1:33:11Speaker 3: But there is so much detail on this flyer. I mean,
- 1:33:13Speaker 3: there's tons of things. We will post it because on
- 1:33:16Speaker 3: the bottom there's a little meter, and on one side
- 1:33:18Speaker 3: there's a bunch of like men in suits looking toward
- 1:33:21Speaker 3: the meter with question marks. And on the other side
- 1:33:23Speaker 3: there's a bunch of men in suits looking toward me
- 1:33:25Speaker 3: to pointing their finger. There is a lot going on,
- 1:33:27Speaker 3: which makes me think that, like Sea Bass, you can
- 1:33:30Speaker 3: this is a safe space. You can tell us if
- 1:33:33Speaker 3: you're playing.
- 1:33:33Speaker 4: It sounds like too much going on for Sea Bass,
- 1:33:35Speaker 4: though maybe you would streamline it.
- 1:33:37Speaker 1: A little bit.
- 1:33:37Speaker 4: Yeah, because like, I'm very like the Cartonnark's magnets are
- 1:33:40Speaker 4: very like lazy bones on board, right, I don't remember like.
- 1:33:43Speaker 1: A jerk, You're not exclusive to magnets. You recently left
- 1:33:46Speaker 1: a coyote sign that was not a.
- 1:33:47Speaker 4: Magnet, that's true, And I have left artwork in the hallways, right,
- 1:33:51Speaker 4: but those are fun.
- 1:33:52Speaker 1: Like, I truly believe this is more than likely Sea Bass.
- 1:33:56Speaker 1: But the one thing that makes me think it is
- 1:33:58Speaker 1: not is I know who sent you this text. Why
- 1:34:01Speaker 1: would SeaBASS know what car? There's no way where he's parking.
- 1:34:06Speaker 4: Yeah, because if it is this person, they don't have
- 1:34:07Speaker 4: the same shift we do, so I would just not
- 1:34:08Speaker 4: cross paths with this person other than already in the building.
- 1:34:11Speaker 3: Okay, well, because it's an excuse, but.
- 1:34:15Speaker 1: That was mega.
- 1:34:21Speaker 15: Yeah, this is the Woody Showy Woody Show.
- 1:34:27Speaker 1: All right, We're back on the Woody Show on a
- 1:34:29Speaker 1: Friday morning, ripping all morning, long day. There was a
- 1:34:33Speaker 1: lot of debate behind the scenes whether we're going to
- 1:34:35Speaker 1: do fail stories or not. We are going to do
- 1:34:37Speaker 1: some failed stories for you on this Friday morning Woody Show. Okay,
- 1:34:58Speaker 1: we get the whole thing right, We're not going to
- 1:34:59Speaker 1: say today. Okay time, all right, Friday fail story. Let's
- 1:35:04Speaker 1: go exactly. Okay. So this guy, Ian Fister, basically found
- 1:35:07Speaker 1: out that place Fister with a party with a peister
- 1:35:11Speaker 1: like Pfizer. He found out that playing stupid games really
- 1:35:15Speaker 1: means winning stupid prizes. Ian is forty seven. He's one
- 1:35:18Speaker 1: of those First Amendment auditors who films people. He trash
- 1:35:22Speaker 1: talks them.
- 1:35:23Speaker 3: Yeah, tries to get them to respond all crazy.
- 1:35:24Speaker 1: Yeah, some of them have good intentions, but this one
- 1:35:27Speaker 1: not so much. He tries to get reactions for viral
- 1:35:29Speaker 1: videos and social media money. But during one of those
- 1:35:31Speaker 1: confrontations outside of Michigan Meat Market, he took it a
- 1:35:34Speaker 1: bit far and ended up pepper spraying the business. Owner.
- 1:35:37Speaker 1: So he has now been convicted of assault and illegally
- 1:35:40Speaker 1: using pepper spray. Now he's spending thirty days in jail,
- 1:35:44Speaker 1: plus probation, a fine, and a court order to stay
- 1:35:48Speaker 1: away from the victim and his business. And with his
- 1:35:50Speaker 1: long criminal history, officials warned that if he keeps pushing
- 1:35:53Speaker 1: his luck, he's going to end up in jail for
- 1:35:55Speaker 1: a lot longer.
- 1:35:56Speaker 3: I can see jail, yeah, I can see him getting
- 1:35:58Speaker 3: sale prayed.
- 1:35:59Speaker 4: He was like, nobody's reacting.
- 1:36:01Speaker 3: Let me bust out my bear spread.
- 1:36:03Speaker 4: Right, idiot.
- 1:36:04Speaker 1: Also, this dude in Florida, Clifford Duval, he thought using
- 1:36:08Speaker 1: a medieval battle weapon was a good way to deal
- 1:36:11Speaker 1: with the repo man.
- 1:36:12Speaker 9: Yeah it is.
- 1:36:13Speaker 1: So his truck was getting repossessed, so instead of, you know,
- 1:36:17Speaker 1: just making a payment plan or taking the loss, he
- 1:36:19Speaker 1: grabbed a tomahawk jumped out, trying to scare off the workers.
- 1:36:24Speaker 1: Security cameras caught him waving the tomahawk, getting right up
- 1:36:27Speaker 1: near them and even hitting the tow cable. The repo
- 1:36:30Speaker 1: guy called the cops, and now Duval facing two felony
- 1:36:33Speaker 1: aggravated assault charges, a fifteen thousand dollars bond on each charge,
- 1:36:38Speaker 1: and a much bigger problem than just losing his truck,
- 1:36:41Speaker 1: you know, because yeah, right, when you use the legal strategy,
- 1:36:46Speaker 1: you can take my truck over my cold dead body,
- 1:36:48Speaker 1: it actually does not work. Keep that in mind.
- 1:36:51Speaker 6: Look, mega fail, no idea, pay any payments, say it right,
- 1:36:54Speaker 6: but still have you seen this?
- 1:36:56Speaker 1: Yeah? Also out of Florida, forty one year old man
- 1:37:00Speaker 1: Adam Santiago Lugo. He was he was just being silly.
- 1:37:03Speaker 3: I love silly.
- 1:37:04Speaker 1: He was allegedly standing in his driveway two in the
- 1:37:06Speaker 1: morning with binoculars and a laser pointer, and he repeatedly
- 1:37:10Speaker 1: aimed a green laser at a sheriff's helicopter that was
- 1:37:13Speaker 1: flying overhead. The laser reportedly messed with a pilot's vision,
- 1:37:17Speaker 1: so the helicopter crew used their infrared cameras to track
- 1:37:20Speaker 1: them down like something not a spy movie, right, So
- 1:37:23Speaker 1: when deputy showed up Adam lee, Adam allegedly resisted a
- 1:37:27Speaker 1: little before getting arrested, and his explanation was, I'm bored
- 1:37:33Speaker 1: and I'm just being silly. Unfortunately for him, the law
- 1:37:36Speaker 1: does not recognize I was bored and silly. That's a
- 1:37:41Speaker 1: valid excuse.
- 1:37:42Speaker 3: Let you goose fail on his.
- 1:37:45Speaker 1: Part as well. Sale This one I think is actually
- 1:37:49Speaker 1: pretty scary. Fifty one year old guy allegedly got into
- 1:37:52Speaker 1: a heated dispute with another group of lobster divers over
- 1:37:56Speaker 1: a fishing location. So, according to investigators, the argument took
- 1:38:00Speaker 1: a big turn when this dude, Michael Simpson, jumped into
- 1:38:04Speaker 1: the water and shut off the air supply system that
- 1:38:07Speaker 1: was keeping a diver from breathing underwater. God, the driver
- 1:38:12Speaker 1: got rescued, came back up. He was shaken and struggling
- 1:38:15Speaker 1: for air. Otherwise okay though, but still the dude turned
- 1:38:20Speaker 1: his air supply.
- 1:38:21Speaker 3: Off because because he stole his lobster.
- 1:38:23Speaker 1: Yeah, well his fishing spot. Oh so Simpson later turned
- 1:38:27Speaker 1: himself in and now he faces an attempted murder charge.
- 1:38:30Speaker 1: Dam well, because a lobster spot became serious enough to
- 1:38:34Speaker 1: risk it.
- 1:38:34Speaker 6: Is God, you know, I've done a lot of fishing
- 1:38:37Speaker 6: in my life, and people get very territory really about that.
- 1:38:41Speaker 6: Also surfers, oh that, surfers and fisher people.
- 1:38:46Speaker 3: This is good to know because my kid is earning
- 1:38:49Speaker 3: his fishing merit badge right now. Scouts own nothing, so
- 1:38:53Speaker 3: now he's super into fishing and wants us to take him.
- 1:38:55Speaker 3: I I've been fishing. I don't know how to so
- 1:38:57Speaker 3: if I stand somewhere and we're told.
- 1:38:59Speaker 9: Like like.
- 1:39:05Speaker 1: Tomahawk. Another scary one professional soccer player in Thailand in
- 1:39:09Speaker 1: the middle of a game when a monster nature just
- 1:39:12Speaker 1: decided to take over. They were playing the game in
- 1:39:14Speaker 1: the rain. But what they didn't realize it wasn't just rain.
- 1:39:18Speaker 1: It was a massive thunder and lightning storm and this
- 1:39:23Speaker 1: bolt of lightning hit the field set a bunch of
- 1:39:25Speaker 1: the players flying backwards. One of them wasn't so lucky though,
- 1:39:28Speaker 1: because he took all of that lightning strike, and his
- 1:39:32Speaker 1: teammates and coaches ran onto the field to try to
- 1:39:34Speaker 1: help them, but it was no use because he was megady.
- 1:39:41Speaker 4: Playing soccer.
- 1:39:42Speaker 1: Yeah. And then finally, a grandma in Australia not good.
- 1:39:48Speaker 1: She has been left disfigured after a hospital staff confused
- 1:39:53Speaker 1: her for another patient, so she was admitted to remove
- 1:39:57Speaker 1: a cancerous skin tag from her pelvic area. So they
- 1:40:00Speaker 1: called her in by her first name only, Deborah, and
- 1:40:03Speaker 1: she asked, did you mean to call my last name
- 1:40:06Speaker 1: as well? And they just said, oh, you'll do that
- 1:40:09Speaker 1: was their answer. So the woman sitting next to her
- 1:40:11Speaker 1: in the waiting room. By the way, she had mentioned
- 1:40:13Speaker 1: her name was also Deborah, but the nurse insisted we
- 1:40:16Speaker 1: got the right Deborah. So the procedure went on, and
- 1:40:18Speaker 1: when Deborah woke up, she had to use the bathroom,
- 1:40:21Speaker 1: but when she did, she started hemorrhaging everywhere, called the
- 1:40:24Speaker 1: nurse over. Nurse said that it was just part of
- 1:40:26Speaker 1: the operation, and that's when it hit her that they
- 1:40:29Speaker 1: gave her the wrong surgery. So instead of removing the
- 1:40:32Speaker 1: skin tag, they removed a large portion of her external genitalia.
- 1:40:37Speaker 3: Oh, this is like a laby ectomy's skin taga.
- 1:40:42Speaker 1: And after she told the hospital what happened, she said
- 1:40:44Speaker 1: they allegedly discharged her without any real explanation. She said
- 1:40:48Speaker 1: that she has lost her confidence as a result, and
- 1:40:50Speaker 1: she's looking to sue the hospital for medical negligence.
- 1:40:54Speaker 3: She's going to take it all from them.
- 1:40:55Speaker 1: The wrong Debora, the wrong flat, and the wrong flaps. Yeah,
- 1:41:01Speaker 1: they took way more than they promised they would. So
- 1:41:04Speaker 1: those are your Friday failed stories. Thank you for allowing
- 1:41:07Speaker 1: us on a Friday morning.
- 1:41:14Speaker 3: Do you guys want to play a really quick game?
- 1:41:16Speaker 2: Yes?
- 1:41:17Speaker 3: Okay, always so you know how it comes up on
- 1:41:19Speaker 3: the show a lot. The certain ways certain genres sort
- 1:41:23Speaker 3: of pander to their audience, bring up certain you know,
- 1:41:26Speaker 3: types of products and things just because they think that
- 1:41:28Speaker 3: that's what their audience is going to be super into. Well,
- 1:41:30Speaker 3: you know, I love the guys over it there, I
- 1:41:32Speaker 3: ruined it. I follow that account like crazy, and they
- 1:41:36Speaker 3: did a couple of not mashups, but montages of certain
- 1:41:40Speaker 3: words that appear most in certain songs. So I need
- 1:41:44Speaker 3: you to make two guesses. I want to know, first
- 1:41:47Speaker 3: of all, which type of car is the most mentioned
- 1:41:50Speaker 3: car in rap music? And when I say what type,
- 1:41:54Speaker 3: I mean brand or make brandt Escalate, Cadillac, Cadillact Okay,
- 1:42:01Speaker 3: Bugatti Cadillac of all timers recently, do we know just
- 1:42:05Speaker 3: in general of all time? This And just so you know,
- 1:42:08Speaker 3: this has been mentioned over thirty two hundred times in
- 1:42:13Speaker 3: different songs.
- 1:42:15Speaker 4: Could be Lamborghini, No, Lamborghini.
- 1:42:19Speaker 3: Ross Bugti okay, Buggotty, I'm going Lamborghini, Okay, Lambo.
- 1:42:26Speaker 4: Bentley could be there too, sticking with Cadillac Cadillac.
- 1:42:32Speaker 3: And I'm going to have you make another guest while
- 1:42:33Speaker 3: we're at it, what type of car, what brand of
- 1:42:37Speaker 3: car is the most mentioned in country music?
- 1:42:40Speaker 4: Chevy Chevy. I'll say four just for yeah, all.
- 1:42:44Speaker 3: Right, Minis.
- 1:42:46Speaker 4: Yeah, I would have to say Chevy.
- 1:42:48Speaker 3: All right. Your answer is for the most mentioned brand
- 1:42:52Speaker 3: of car in rap, and the most mentioned brand of
- 1:42:54Speaker 3: car and country music are this?
- 1:43:09Speaker 1: Damn it, my gut was saying Mercedes.
- 1:43:12Speaker 4: Well that Ben said it old Yeah, I haven't heard
- 1:43:17Speaker 4: of Ben's reference in a long.
- 1:43:18Speaker 3: Time, overall in the whole over arching Yeah, in the
- 1:43:21Speaker 3: early days, Yeah, you're wrong. Yeah, if you take the
- 1:43:24Speaker 3: way back machine, Oh.
- 1:43:25Speaker 6: Yeah, old school rap, I mean rappers would wear the
- 1:43:28Speaker 6: Mercedes logo on chains.
- 1:43:31Speaker 3: Like a pendant. Yeah, and I'm guessing that like Chevy
- 1:43:38Speaker 3: might rhyme more with more stuff than Ford. I don't know,
- 1:43:41Speaker 3: because it's like the f one fifty. You think it
- 1:43:43Speaker 3: is like the ultimate?
- 1:43:45Speaker 1: That's true. You could heavy.
- 1:43:49Speaker 4: Well, yeah, such such.
- 1:43:51Speaker 1: A verseful word.
- 1:43:52Speaker 3: I'm gonna need you to talk to your people and
- 1:43:53Speaker 3: find out what they love.
- 1:43:57Speaker 4: Listen because you love listening.
- 1:43:59Speaker 17: Because great, this is the show.
- 1:44:03Speaker 1: I'll put this under the umbrella of unfinished business. Got
- 1:44:06Speaker 1: an update from Sea Bass. I got something about what
- 1:44:09Speaker 1: I'm going through, and then I know you do too, Genus,
- 1:44:11Speaker 1: So let's start with seb.
- 1:44:13Speaker 4: Yeah, I told you that I was going to forward
- 1:44:15Speaker 4: my winner, my winning prize of one hundred dollars visa
- 1:44:18Speaker 4: gift card from Throat Goat Thursday. Oh yeah, yeah, to
- 1:44:21Speaker 4: the hottest girl that texted in to ourn and I
- 1:44:25Speaker 4: had the Throat Goat himself, Tyler going through and I
- 1:44:30Speaker 4: but this goes. There's a classic lesson to be learned
- 1:44:33Speaker 4: here that we people forget and we need to learn
- 1:44:35Speaker 4: again and again again. Pay attention to instructions. Yes, I said,
- 1:44:38Speaker 4: how am I going to know if you're hot or
- 1:44:40Speaker 4: not unless you have a public Instagram attention to instructions?
- 1:44:44Speaker 4: Be hot?
- 1:44:45Speaker 15: Right?
- 1:44:46Speaker 4: So for two things be hot, Yes, that's subjective. We'll
- 1:44:49Speaker 4: get to that in a minute. And number two have
- 1:44:51Speaker 4: a publicist. And three of these have private Instagram, so
- 1:44:55Speaker 4: you're automatically disqualified the rest of the one girl, Okay,
- 1:44:58Speaker 4: I'm gonna be nice. Hey, I'm a hot girl planning
- 1:45:01Speaker 4: a wedding. I can use one hundred dollars sure by definition?
- 1:45:04Speaker 4: Or not a hot girl because you're planning a wedding.
- 1:45:05Speaker 4: Mm hmm.
- 1:45:08Speaker 16: It.
- 1:45:09Speaker 4: But I had I had Tyler pick out a nice
- 1:45:10Speaker 4: young lady. Even though it is a modeling page, it
- 1:45:14Speaker 4: appears to be a real lady. It's not Ai, So
- 1:45:16Speaker 4: Tyler will be hitting up again. As I said, the
- 1:45:19Speaker 4: other prize is Tyler's in your d M. Nice, So
- 1:45:22Speaker 4: this girl will just use her first name, MRSA the
- 1:45:26Speaker 4: virus Mercia. Oh maybe it's Sadie. Okay, that's one of
- 1:45:33Speaker 4: those things where it has like there's like as a
- 1:45:35Speaker 4: bunch of little other words and conjunctions in it. She's
- 1:45:38Speaker 4: like that, Well that's a lots of name, but that's
- 1:45:40Speaker 4: also a name too. Okay, Well let's go with Sadie.
- 1:45:46Speaker 4: Tyler will be sliding into your d MS and he
- 1:45:48Speaker 4: will arrange via Menace, who is the generous one. I'm
- 1:45:51Speaker 4: being generous too. Yeah, but this money is coming from
- 1:45:54Speaker 4: Menace and I will read the address. But again, lesson learned,
- 1:45:57Speaker 4: and we talk about this whole time. Pay attention to
- 1:45:59Speaker 4: instrung people because they are like, why do I have
- 1:46:03Speaker 4: to bubble in this thing on the essay table. It
- 1:46:05Speaker 4: is following detailed instructions because that is important in life.
- 1:46:09Speaker 3: It could have been one hundred dollars richer, but couldn't
- 1:46:12Speaker 3: be done.
- 1:46:13Speaker 1: The thing I wanted to ask you guys is getting
- 1:46:16Speaker 1: my house repainted. Right, It's not done yet I need
- 1:46:22Speaker 1: that to be clear. It's not done yet, so it
- 1:46:23Speaker 1: doesn't look good yet because you got the windows taped up.
- 1:46:28Speaker 1: The windows haven't been done yet because those are gonna
- 1:46:30Speaker 1: get painted. Yeah, the sconces were removed. I don't know
- 1:46:34Speaker 1: what that is, but those are those lights that go
- 1:46:35Speaker 1: up against Yeah, the lights that go up next, you know,
- 1:46:39Speaker 1: they flank the garage, and those got removed so you
- 1:46:42Speaker 1: can paint, and then you put them back up so
- 1:46:44Speaker 1: it looks incomplete. It's tarped off. There's a lot of tools,
- 1:46:48Speaker 1: a lot of wood just lying around, a lot of
- 1:46:51Speaker 1: just general garbage everywhere.
- 1:46:54Speaker 2: Ugh.
- 1:46:54Speaker 1: The worst part my garbage cans. They had to be
- 1:46:56Speaker 1: pulled away from the house. Those are in the driveway.
- 1:47:00Speaker 1: Looks like a dump, right, Yes, So, even knowing it's
- 1:47:03Speaker 1: not done yet, the main part of the paint of
- 1:47:06Speaker 1: the face of the house is complete. And I've had
- 1:47:10Speaker 1: not one, not two, but three neighbors at the end
- 1:47:14Speaker 1: of the day when I'm out there kind of cleaning
- 1:47:16Speaker 1: up a bit, say oh, what's the final color going
- 1:47:20Speaker 1: to be?
- 1:47:21Speaker 12: Oh?
- 1:47:22Speaker 1: And I'm like, it looks like that is it? That's
- 1:47:25Speaker 1: what I said to Mario. Do they think this is
- 1:47:27Speaker 1: the primer. It's not primer. It's the paint, but it's
- 1:47:31Speaker 1: not a complete picture yet. It's going to rule when
- 1:47:36Speaker 1: the trim is done. And no, it's like a whiteish color.
- 1:47:41Speaker 1: So I guess people think it's primer.
- 1:47:43Speaker 3: It just sounds like they're a bunch of peasants with
- 1:47:44Speaker 3: no vision.
- 1:47:45Speaker 1: I hope so, because now I'm having like mega not
- 1:47:49Speaker 1: buyer's remorse, but like choosers remorse, like anxiety, Yeah, paint anxiety.
- 1:47:54Speaker 4: So will they trim be like a different color? Yes,
- 1:47:56Speaker 4: and they'll frame it better.
- 1:47:57Speaker 1: It'll yes, exactly, so garage when ohs trim will all
- 1:48:01Speaker 1: be the trim color and be different than the body
- 1:48:04Speaker 1: of the house color. So I need I know three people.
- 1:48:08Speaker 1: So is that the final coll Like? Yeah, it is,
- 1:48:13Speaker 1: and it's awesome. It's just not done yet, you know
- 1:48:18Speaker 1: what I mean.
- 1:48:18Speaker 4: I think that your baby's hair is gonna come in.
- 1:48:22Speaker 1: It's kind of like when when Like when when when
- 1:48:24Speaker 1: a woman gets a hair cut and they put clips
- 1:48:26Speaker 1: in all these weird places. The process looks bad. Just
- 1:48:30Speaker 1: trust me, the rest will be good.
- 1:48:33Speaker 4: All right.
- 1:48:33Speaker 1: I guess maybe I should have anxiety.
- 1:48:36Speaker 5: Did you Greg, did you do like an AI image
- 1:48:39Speaker 5: of your house. So there's the question in your vision,
- 1:48:43Speaker 5: you've seen it. You don't worry about them.
- 1:48:45Speaker 1: Done multiple ai uh, all the renderings of every possibility.
- 1:48:52Speaker 1: This was not taken lightly by the means.
- 1:48:55Speaker 3: Not only do I believe in you, but I believe
- 1:48:57Speaker 3: in Mars exactly.
- 1:48:58Speaker 8: Mario.
- 1:48:59Speaker 3: Just you're just to put like a blindfold on and
- 1:49:02Speaker 3: literally follow him. Right, So I think this is gonna
- 1:49:05Speaker 3: be fine. I think your neighbors have no vision.
- 1:49:06Speaker 4: Okay, well shouldn't you respond to them be you know,
- 1:49:09Speaker 4: the two gay guys. If you're right, just fine, we're doing.
- 1:49:14Speaker 1: Right and you're welcome in advance for boosting property values.
- 1:49:22Speaker 1: Leave the clones.
- 1:49:23Speaker 4: Okay, you'd be talking to neighbors like that though, Yeah,
- 1:49:25Speaker 4: oh we're buddies.
- 1:49:26Speaker 1: Yeah, they'd be doing that all the time.
- 1:49:28Speaker 3: I just say, hi, oh my god, speaking of talking
- 1:49:31Speaker 3: to your neighbors, this is my big question. We took
- 1:49:33Speaker 3: a little pip out for a walk last night and
- 1:49:35Speaker 3: like just started like this impromptu block party with all
- 1:49:38Speaker 3: of our neighbors who've lived there for a million years,
- 1:49:40Speaker 3: a little bit older, like they're all like settled in
- 1:49:43Speaker 3: and Greg, you would love them. All the moms walk
- 1:49:46Speaker 3: around with like super tight at leisure and fully done
- 1:49:50Speaker 3: hair and makeup.
- 1:49:50Speaker 1: I love tight clothing on.
- 1:49:55Speaker 3: Sorry, I shouldn't do on this backwards. And their husbands
- 1:49:57Speaker 3: all walk with them with like a beer, an open
- 1:50:00Speaker 3: container of some kind, a big giant cocktail. It's hilarious.
- 1:50:04Speaker 3: So we're walking, it's very very peaceful and awesome. But
- 1:50:08Speaker 3: here's the thing. I'm used to being just sort of
- 1:50:11Speaker 3: like anonymous in a big city and like walking in
- 1:50:14Speaker 3: my pajamas. I did not know that this is not
- 1:50:17Speaker 3: the type of area where you do that just to
- 1:50:21Speaker 3: take a walk. Okay, I was in mismatched pajamas and flips.
- 1:50:30Speaker 3: I mean they were they were gray and black, so
- 1:50:31Speaker 3: it was kind of hard to like really mismatch them
- 1:50:34Speaker 3: too bad. But I had to play it off like
- 1:50:36Speaker 3: I was fine with what I was wearing.
- 1:50:40Speaker 4: I would just say, I just came back from the dumps.
- 1:50:42Speaker 3: You know, I just came back from dumpster diving. I
- 1:50:45Speaker 3: didn't acknowledge it. They didn't acknowledge it. They put together
- 1:50:51Speaker 3: and it's more like me to like comment on it,
- 1:50:54Speaker 3: but I just didn't. I felt like I had gone
- 1:50:56Speaker 3: in too far, like we had been chatting too long
- 1:50:58Speaker 3: to bring it.
- 1:50:59Speaker 1: Up about what time of day.
- 1:51:01Speaker 3: Do these walks happen like seven? So do they think
- 1:51:04Speaker 3: I'm just like, yeah, Grandma, that's that's.
- 1:51:07Speaker 1: A little early to be in pajama. I mean, they
- 1:51:09Speaker 1: don't know your schedule. But still, what.
- 1:51:12Speaker 8: Type of pajamas were they? Was it like a button down?
- 1:51:14Speaker 2: No?
- 1:51:15Speaker 3: No, no, okay, a gray like v neck, but like
- 1:51:20Speaker 3: definitely looks like pajamas and like black and white cotton
- 1:51:24Speaker 3: frilly shorts.
- 1:51:25Speaker 4: So we're all we're all being honest about Gina and
- 1:51:28Speaker 4: not living up to her fashion standards. When I bring
- 1:51:31Speaker 4: up a much better point about flying to Japan first class,
- 1:51:36Speaker 4: talk about being extra dog, yeah it is. You guys
- 1:51:42Speaker 4: are just attacking the messenger when it comes to all
- 1:51:44Speaker 4: best things. He's always right.
- 1:51:46Speaker 3: What I think I'm used to is like I see
- 1:51:48Speaker 3: you fools every day. You we all accept each other
- 1:51:51Speaker 3: the way we are, and I'm not you know, like
- 1:51:53Speaker 3: you know, getting super you know, done up in any
- 1:51:56Speaker 3: stretch of the imagination. So this is just kind of
- 1:51:59Speaker 3: like the attitude I carry throughout the day. And I
- 1:52:01Speaker 3: think when I go home now to this nice neighborhood
- 1:52:04Speaker 3: that we moved to, do I to step up my game?
- 1:52:07Speaker 3: Or should I just beby.
- 1:52:08Speaker 4: Live my true to get invited to party.
- 1:52:11Speaker 3: That's the thing. I want to be accepted to these
- 1:52:14Speaker 3: people with their cocktails and their little ship suits.
- 1:52:17Speaker 1: Well, before you go out for a walk, doll yourself up.
- 1:52:19Speaker 3: God, okay, so put on my best at leisure and
- 1:52:24Speaker 3: reapply my makeup for a don't walk.
- 1:52:26Speaker 1: Put on what you know that. I love the tight
- 1:52:29Speaker 1: at leisure.
- 1:52:32Speaker 3: Us with the open container.
- 1:52:35Speaker 4: Yeah, middle aged men.
- 1:52:40Speaker 1: I like them, old and white.
- 1:52:42Speaker 3: Wait and they're all former cops.
- 1:52:44Speaker 1: Oh yeah, all right. Now I'm gonna finish insensitivity draining
- 1:52:51Speaker 1: for a political world show. All right, that's gonna do it,
- 1:52:56Speaker 1: you guys, not just for the day, but before the
- 1:52:58Speaker 1: entire week. Kind of flu solo for most of the week.
- 1:53:01Speaker 1: Woody and Jeff g they're back Monday so they can
- 1:53:04Speaker 1: tell us about their trip to Cleveland.
- 1:53:06Speaker 3: Also, all your.
- 1:53:08Speaker 1: Weekend cheers and jeers coming up on Monday. Now, if
- 1:53:12Speaker 1: things go to plan, Sea Best has a way for us,
- 1:53:16Speaker 1: well not for us in this room, but for you
- 1:53:18Speaker 1: to possibly make quite a bit of money really, So
- 1:53:21Speaker 1: we'll see if that goes to plan. Hopefully you will
- 1:53:24Speaker 1: be at the Alt ninety eight seven Summer Pool party
- 1:53:26Speaker 1: with all American rejects. That's happening tomorrow, Yamava Resort and Casino. Everybody,
- 1:53:32Speaker 1: have a fantastic weekend. We'll catch you back here Monday again.
- 1:53:35Speaker 1: Woody is back Monday morning here on all ninety eight seven. Bye,
