- 0:01Speaker 1: Welcome to the emotional mastery podcast.
- 0:03Speaker 1: I am your host, rochelle.
- 0:04Speaker 1: I'm a holistic human design health coach and this is a space for human design and spiritual journey.
- 0:10Speaker 1: It's not about being a master of your emotions, rather mastering the tools to self-wrinkly, to awakening yourself and remembering who you are.
- 0:18Speaker 1: Human design changed my life about five years ago and I've been learning and teaching the system ever since.
- 0:24Speaker 1: This podcast is human design meets spirituality, meets astrology.
- 0:27Speaker 1: You don't have to have a belief system to be here, just an open mind and curiosity.
- 0:32Speaker 1: This is a journey of meeting yourself and awakening to your infinite potential.
- 0:36Speaker 1: Now let the magic begin.
- 0:38Speaker 1: Welcome back to another episode of the emotional mastery podcast.
- 0:43Speaker 1: This week I talked to Dr Kate Flynn, and this conversation was so much fun, it was so good.
- 0:51Speaker 1: Dr Kate Flynn is the creator of Activate Ascension.
- 0:54Speaker 1: She guides human design generators through an active deconditioning of the false self so that they may rise up out of their thinking thoughts, reclaim their power and live as their truest and most authentic self.
- 1:05Speaker 1: Dr Kate does this through engagement of the sacral response in a way that bypasses the logical mind, which makes it a great fit for sacral and emotional generators alike.
- 1:13Speaker 1: She has dozens of published meditations available on Insight Timer, offers a self-study course to teach others how to activate their own ascension, and enjoys working in a private practice.
- 1:22Speaker 1: You can find her on YouTube, instagram and TikTok and everything is in the show notes you can schedule with her at her website, dr Kate Flynncom.
- 1:30Speaker 1: Again, everything Instagram, tiktok, youtube.
- 1:33Speaker 1: All the information is going to be down below so you can go click it.
- 1:36Speaker 1: This was such a beautiful way to engage the sacral as sacral beings, generators and manifesting generators.
- 1:44Speaker 1: It's so important to create a relationship with your sacral, and especially, I think, if you're emotional.
- 1:49Speaker 1: Sometimes we forget about the sacral, but it is that in the moment, knowing the sacral is a center of life force, energy, workforce, energy, sexuality, fertility it's all those things.
- 2:00Speaker 1: The only type in human design that hasn't activated are going to be generators.
- 2:04Speaker 1: Everyone else is taking in an amplifying, so we're literally creating reality with this sacral.
- 2:13Speaker 1: It's just such a unique process.
- 2:15Speaker 1: You'll hear we talk about it and then she turns it on me and it has me go through this process.
- 2:20Speaker 1: It was a little bit uncomfortable at first, just because I'm usually the interviewer.
- 2:25Speaker 1: I'm usually the one on that end, like the coach doing that kind of work.
- 2:28Speaker 1: That's where I love when that happens on this podcast there's been a couple times.
- 2:32Speaker 1: There was a psychologist that, too, turned it on me.
- 2:35Speaker 1: I don't think that episode's out yet It'll be coming out soon but he turned it on me and I was like, but it's always so fun and so cool to see that what she pulled out of me through the end of all of the questions was to walk barefoot in the house, which I did, and then it got cold.
- 2:53Speaker 1: Now I'm putting back my slippers on, but this was a reminder to go back to that walking barefoot and just warm my house up a little bit.
- 3:00Speaker 1: I just do not function well when it is cold.
- 3:04Speaker 1: I'm working through it, but yeah, it's just like.
- 3:09Speaker 1: This was such a really beautiful conversation and I love connecting with people on human design.
- 3:16Speaker 1: We talk a little bit about using the sacral.
- 3:18Speaker 1: I like to have clients use the sacral specifically around food when they're getting in touch with their sacral, because I'm a health coach and so I love all things food, the body and things like that.
- 3:29Speaker 1: But I actually used my sacral to quit drinking because it just stopped feeling good and every time I would reach for it I would get that sacral like no, don't do it.
- 3:38Speaker 1: It just got louder and louder, and louder and finally I was like, okay, I have to listen to myself and so I gave that up for a year.
- 3:44Speaker 1: Of course I've talked about it, adding it in here and there, but when it feels good and I'm still listening to that sacral tapping in, when I'm about to eat something, or I actually lost over 10 pounds over the past few months and the only thing I can think of because I didn't change my diet, I didn't change anything.
- 4:01Speaker 1: I'm again adding back in alcohol a little bit, but what I did notice that I was doing was when I was actually full or when I didn't want to eat something.
- 4:09Speaker 1: I was really tuning into that sacral.
- 4:11Speaker 1: So it really is very powerful.
- 4:14Speaker 1: If you're a generator being really tuning into that, what do you actually feel when you want to eat the snack or your board or whatever it is tuning into that sacral and asking do I actually want this thing?
- 4:25Speaker 1: How does this feel?
- 4:26Speaker 1: And making it a practice of every day, like what does a yes feel?
- 4:29Speaker 1: Like what does a no feel, like taking that pause and intentionally tuning in a couple times a day will really help you create a connection with that sacral response so that you are aware of what it feels like, when you're feeling it, when you're sensing it, and even if you have emotional authority, the sacral is really beautiful in the moment.
- 4:47Speaker 1: It's still a piece of information that we can bring through that wave.
- 4:51Speaker 1: And Kate talks about how pure sacral beings tend to get really much in their mind, and I can definitely see that, because I think we all can get in our mind in different ways.
- 5:00Speaker 1: But when that sacral response is like a no, then our mind is like but wait, we have to do this, we're obligated to this, we need to do this, all the things, instead of just like listening to that sacral response and I think that's where the beautiful thing is.
- 5:11Speaker 1: And also pure sacrals just like move, their sacral moves them.
- 5:15Speaker 1: My son is a pure generator and I notice when it's a yes, he'll just move, he'll move to put his shoes on, he'll move to do the thing, and when it's a no, he either doesn't say anything or there's like a long pause.
- 5:27Speaker 1: And so really being aware of that, if you're parenting a pure sacral, if you're dating one, married to one, whatever it is, is really helpful in that process of identifying what is a sacral yes and sacral no, and allowing that individual the freedom and authenticity to follow through on that, because it's not personal, it's just what it is.
- 5:47Speaker 1: I've really been sort of over the past like couple of weeks really more, leaning back into this experiment of this human design.
- 5:54Speaker 1: Right, because that's what it is.
- 5:55Speaker 1: It is an experiment and it's a beautiful experiment and it's a fun experiment.
- 5:59Speaker 1: We get so much in our mind and it's like the mind and the body are sort of fighting each other a little bit.
- 6:06Speaker 1: But if we could just like separate them and allow the mind to do, just like recognizing the mind, like okay, I know what you're going to do, you can go over there and do it.
- 6:13Speaker 1: We're going to lean into the body and know that the body knows what's best for us In our mind, they say, is our outer authority, so it's designed to use for other people and, of course, depending on all of your, your setups and everything I am, I was just making sense of all of the astrology in as it's like the gates connected to human design, and just like witnessing what signs rule.
- 6:41Speaker 1: Like there there is no, there is no center.
- 6:45Speaker 1: That is purely one side, right, Like the throat is primarily Gemini, which makes sense.
- 6:50Speaker 1: The spleen is primarily Libra and there's two Scorpio gates or there's a few Scorpio gates Libra and Scorpio and the solar plexus is primarily Pisces, and it's just like really interesting.
- 7:03Speaker 1: I'm just putting it all together in my mind and like making it make sense, but I will have more on that.
- 7:07Speaker 1: I'm I'm I'm going to be formulating something with that information.
- 7:11Speaker 1: It's all percolating in there.
- 7:12Speaker 1: I've been studying astroherbalism and medical astrology, so I'm sort of like going back into my roots of like the physical body and health, because I think it is all holistic, of course, and we are here in this physical body for a reason, and when we can tune into that, you know, even with sacral generators, when your body is functioning correctly, it's so much easier to tune into that and know what's right and what's not, and it's just always helpful to be in your body.
- 7:39Speaker 1: For me, when I finally came into my body a little bit, I just got clarity on like my whole life right.
- 7:44Speaker 1: This was like seven years ago and I was like whoa and like it just shifted everything and all these experiences came to me in human design and my life just completely changed when I allowed myself to care about my body and tune into my body, and it's not to say it's not perfect.
- 7:58Speaker 1: I think we all have our things and it's okay.
- 8:02Speaker 1: But just being aware and tuning into your body a little bit more and coming back for validation I don't know if that's the right word reassurance just coming tuning into yourself and knowing what's for you and what's not.
- 8:13Speaker 1: But this episode is really, really good.
- 8:15Speaker 1: I'm excited to share it with you again.

- 8:58Speaker 1: Welcome to the Emotional Mastery Podcast.
- 9:03Speaker 1: Today I have Dr Kate Flynn who guides human design generators, and this topic is so exciting to me.
- 9:10Speaker 1: I also do human design coaching and it's really so interesting.
- 9:15Speaker 1: There's the entire stake role in general and I think it's such a powerful force that we all have and I think we're all so throughout life.
- 9:22Speaker 1: If you're a generator type right, we're so disconnected with it from just conditioning and things like that.
- 9:26Speaker 1: So I think getting back in tune with that is so, so important.
- 9:29Speaker 1: So I'm really excited to have this conversation.
- 9:31Speaker 1: I'm going to hand the floor over to you so you can sort of introduce yourself your story, anything pivot along the way, and then we'll go from there.
- 9:40Speaker 2: Thank you, michelle.
- 9:40Speaker 2: I'm super excited to be here.
- 9:42Speaker 2: My name is Dr Kate Flynn and I've been in the healing realm and world for about 15 years now.
- 9:49Speaker 2: I think we all get here because we've been through some things that have been really challenging and hard.
- 9:55Speaker 2: I am a human design generator, free five, which means I really like to learn things the hard way and kind of experimenting and navigating and finding my way and my thing, but then hitting a wall.
- 10:12Speaker 2: And that's when a few years ago actually was introduced to human design and that was like a big missing piece that came full into play.
- 10:20Speaker 2: And then shortly after that we moved to Ecuador.
- 10:23Speaker 2: So we were really like let's jump into this deconditioning hardcore and see what happens.
- 10:28Speaker 2: And it's been such an amazing experience because we've been able, or we were able, to have like a nine months sabbatical where we withdrew from society, really had the opportunity to know who we were outside of anybody else.
- 10:42Speaker 2: Even though my husband and I were together, the house was big enough that we worked from home, we had our own spaces, we had plenty of time out of work contact because he's in the experiment as well and it just shed so much light on the missing pieces of the system I had been using and how I could use the sacral response to guide people through a process where their logical mind can't engage Like they have to be able to tune into that response, and the cool thing is it's navigated with them.
- 11:15Speaker 2: It's about discerning things that have already happened, so it kind of takes the pressure off of the decision moving forward and it's just been.
- 11:23Speaker 2: I mean, it's been heart-wrenching and intense and challenging and beautiful and amazing all at the same time.
- 11:31Speaker 2: So, being in this new space though, because I use it on myself it's like this is what people talk about when they talk about gratitude, when they talk about loving themselves, when they talk about like before I thought that was the monk sitting on the mountaintop experiencing inner peace, and now it's like no, it's when you can look back and say, yep, that was me, that was me Did that and you love it all and you're your own beautiful mess, and it's just like.
- 12:01Speaker 2: That's when I felt like I was getting somewhere, when I started to have those kind of experiences.
- 12:06Speaker 1: Yeah, that's amazing.
- 12:08Speaker 1: I love that.
- 12:08Speaker 1: I also look back at my journey, too, and I feel the same way.
- 12:10Speaker 1: It's like when I was in it, you know, years and years ago, it was like I couldn't even like the term I hate myself is so strong but like I really didn't like myself right, it was always something missing.
- 12:20Speaker 1: And when I started my journey, I was like doing the journaling and the meditation and all of these things and I, you know I had come a long way, but when I found human design, I was like whoa, I am so seen.
- 12:32Speaker 1: I get myself now, you know, because it is those areas that we think that we're wrong, for it's just who we are right and we've been conditioned out of being that in life and, you know, focusing on the open centers and things like that.
- 12:42Speaker 1: So I just, I mean, it's the system that changed my life completely and I love to use it and I love to have conversations around it.
- 12:48Speaker 1: Is your husband also a generator?
- 12:51Speaker 2: No, he's a projector.
- 12:53Speaker 2: He did, we're both three fives.
- 12:55Speaker 1: So we have that bond really.
- 12:58Speaker 2: I mean that's the attraction point I feel like, because otherwise, with him being a splenic projector and me being an emotional generator, we're very different in a lot of ways.
- 13:08Speaker 2: But that's like I got chills when you were talking, because human design really is that powerful to take you to a whole nother level where everything you thought were flaws or something wrong with you is like no, that's actually who you were created to be, and learning to let each other be as we're created.
- 13:28Speaker 2: If you're in a relationship and you haven't found human design, it's amazing.
- 13:35Speaker 1: Yeah, absolutely.
- 13:35Speaker 1: And even with parenting.
- 13:37Speaker 1: Like I have two kids and it helps me so much understand them.
- 13:40Speaker 1: And astrology astrology is like huge for me too, but like just human design, understanding.
- 13:45Speaker 1: Like my daughter has only her sacral and her emotions.
- 13:48Speaker 1: 59.6 is the only channel she has.
- 13:50Speaker 1: Everything else is open.
- 13:51Speaker 1: So she's so sensitive and understanding that and she's magnetic because people will just come and tell her things and I'm like you should not be telling a 13-year-old this, like what are you doing?
- 13:59Speaker 1: So it's like helping her understand that she's going to have that type of interactions in her life and she really needs to protect her energy.
- 14:05Speaker 1: So I just think the whole thing is just such an incredible, incredible system.
- 14:10Speaker 1: I would be curious how that three fives so my mom's a three fives and it's just like so interesting that dynamic.
- 14:16Speaker 1: I'm a six three.
- 14:17Speaker 1: So there's obviously that third line connection.
- 14:18Speaker 1: But I think that my perception of the three five often is that you know that fifth line wants to be not perfect, but people come to it Right.
- 14:27Speaker 1: And then I like did you find the third line was a little bit like of a struggle to like have to go through the trial and error, to like be that like you know, the experienced, you know, you know people that the savior, I guess, is the word I'm looking for.
- 14:42Speaker 2: Yeah, if there was one word to describe birth to 40 struggle would be a good one.
- 14:48Speaker 2: And it looks like crazy making to the outside world.
- 14:52Speaker 2: And for me, having the fifth line unconscious has, like the paranoia that they talk about, has been really real for me because, like five line conscious, you see the projection coming and you're like, yeah, I can do that.
- 15:05Speaker 2: No, I can't.
- 15:05Speaker 2: When it's unconscious it's like every new interaction is almost like what do you want for me?
- 15:10Speaker 2: Can you just tell me what you want from me?
- 15:12Speaker 2: Yeah, and then I'll be able to tell you if I can give it to you or not.
- 15:18Speaker 2: So that's been navigating that and realizing that what was causing so much of my social anxiety and being seen and not wanting to well, not even knowing that disappointing people was something that was going to happen, but yet feeling that when you can't live up to the projection field, it's three, five is.
- 15:39Speaker 2: You know?
- 15:40Speaker 2: I feel like when I first found out about human design, I had all this envy over the other types and all I wish I was like that or all it would be easier if I was like that.
- 15:50Speaker 2: And then realizing nobody gets a free pass.
- 15:54Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 15:55Speaker 1: No, and we're all unique in our own way, right, because I think a lot of people are like, oh, I'm just a generator.
- 15:59Speaker 1: I've heard that so many times.
- 16:00Speaker 1: I'm just a generator because, like, we feel unique, right, we feel individual, we feel isolated from the rest of the crowd.
- 16:07Speaker 1: You know in our own experiences.
- 16:08Speaker 1: And so I think sometimes, when you come and you find out that you're you know, whatever it is like generator, the response is like, oh, like I'm not special, but it's like, no, you are.
- 16:15Speaker 1: There's so much to it, you know it's not just like the one in your experience is so unique to you.
- 16:20Speaker 1: And I think that's the beautiful thing too about the system.
- 16:24Speaker 2: And it like navigating that moving through the entry level envy of others designed it helps give you so much appreciation for yourself and what you've been through and what you've experienced and how you made it through to the other side.
- 16:38Speaker 2: It's all so worth celebrating and it doesn't pay to want to be like anybody else.
- 16:46Speaker 2: So you've got to figure out how to maximize and enjoy and love who you were created to be, and maybe there was a little bit of that like oh, just a generator in the beginning, because, let's face it, all of this want to be manifested right, like oh, I want to.
- 17:01Speaker 1: I swear I was going to be a reflector when I like put my thing is like I was, like I bet I'm a reflector.
- 17:05Speaker 1: I'm so like sensitive and like all the things, but I'm a manifesting generator.
- 17:10Speaker 1: I'm a 6'3" which is like not, you know, like that, like you talked about that fifth line being in the body.
- 17:14Speaker 1: For me, that third line being in the body, I never get a break right.
- 17:17Speaker 1: But like I want to be that role model, I want to have like there's an element of like perfection, I get really bad imposter syndrome.
- 17:23Speaker 1: I used to, more so now because it's like I want it.
- 17:25Speaker 1: My conscious mind wanted to be this role model and have everything figured out.
- 17:28Speaker 1: And the third line is like no, we're just going to keep going through it and you know it is what it is.
- 17:33Speaker 2: But it is what it is, so learn to love it and enjoy it, or fight against it and be miserable the whole time, right.
- 17:42Speaker 1: Yeah, do you have your spleen defined?
- 17:46Speaker 2: Yes, I have everything defined but head and asha.
- 17:49Speaker 1: Oh, interesting, okay, I'm like super defined, really defined, yeah, everything below the throat.
- 17:54Speaker 1: Interesting.
- 17:56Speaker 2: My husband only has spleen and root and that's it.
- 17:59Speaker 2: Oh, wow.
- 18:00Speaker 2: So you know, like learning that I was emotional and I was in an immersion experience last year with someone who's non-emotional and she's talking about you know how hard it is for the non-emotional people and amplifying and everything, and I'm like at first I was like, oh you know, I feel bad for you, my emotion being, and now I'm like you can decide if this is yours or not yours and if you want to amplify, it or not.
- 18:27Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, I can't stop this yeah, yeah, when I think I'm also an emotional MG.
- 18:33Speaker 1: Right, I have the emotion, sacral and spleen.
- 18:35Speaker 1: So I would be curious, like I think that discernment process between what each one is and when I feel them is like really important, obviously, like at the end of the day, always waiting, but when I I don't know.
- 18:48Speaker 1: Maybe I'm biased, but I think emotional authority is the hardest one to have because you never really know right, there's no like certain.
- 18:55Speaker 1: I mean the spleen, I think, because maybe because I have all three, I have a hard time figuring out what's the spleen and what's the sacral.
- 18:59Speaker 1: You know, I'm like, like I know what the sacral is, but then this I don't know, it's like a whole thing right when I'm just trying to always discern that I think the spleen for me is the hardest one to really get a grasp on, just because I have all three speaking at once.
- 19:11Speaker 1: But Right.
- 19:15Speaker 2: And the spleen is like that split second and then it's gone, it's quiet, it's quick and it doesn't come back.
- 19:20Speaker 1: Yeah, so you really have to be paying attention and tuned in Right Absolutely.
- 19:28Speaker 2: Yeah, In terms of the emotion being the hardest.
- 19:33Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 19:35Speaker 2: I wanted that now, like intuition in the moment.
- 19:39Speaker 2: I mean, that's what I taught.
- 19:40Speaker 2: I taught people how to engage their intuition.
- 19:42Speaker 2: I thought I was supposed to know immediately.
- 19:44Speaker 2: Then I was having all these experience.
- 19:47Speaker 2: That was like, why did I do that?
- 19:48Speaker 2: I need to undo that.
- 19:49Speaker 2: What I realized in that immersion was just observing pure generators, the sacred generators.
- 19:57Speaker 2: To me, it seemed like they struggled the most with being in the mind.
- 20:05Speaker 2: It's like you have the answer right now.
- 20:07Speaker 2: It's right there and you can trust it.
- 20:11Speaker 2: You don't have to wait beyond that.
- 20:12Speaker 2: But just this swirling, I think, well, I have this gate and that and that made me realize maybe emotional authority isn't so bad.
- 20:25Speaker 1: Maybe I don't know it's a lot, but I think I know.
- 20:30Speaker 1: So I have my emotions connected to my throat, connected to my asana, so I feel like just that energetically it's literally linked.
- 20:36Speaker 1: So sometimes I get so heady about it because it's literally a direct connection from my emotions to my mind and so, if I allow, it to go there.
- 20:44Speaker 1: But whether we are emotional or not, how do you guide people to get out of their head and more so, into that sacred response, right?
- 20:55Speaker 2: So the first thing is I take people through a process to really come into sacred space and to tune into the heart center, where our soul self meets our physical self.
- 21:06Speaker 2: Now, these are things I have discerned over time.
- 21:09Speaker 2: The process is rooted in human design, but this is kind of what I've learned and known to be true.
- 21:14Speaker 2: So you have this stream of energy that comes down into you from source, up into you from the earth.
- 21:19Speaker 2: They need an emerge in your heart and everything gets radiated outwards from there, right.
- 21:24Speaker 2: So that kind of helps people tune into the full power available to them to create their life.
- 21:30Speaker 2: And then we really hone the intention.
- 21:34Speaker 2: What is it specifically you want to create?
- 21:36Speaker 2: And I'm super intuitive, so I'm always like I engage your intuition, your sacred response.
- 21:44Speaker 2: But I'll feel it.
- 21:45Speaker 2: If your head starts to get involved, right, it starts to make the choices for you.
- 21:49Speaker 2: So I like to let people know that that safety net is there.
- 21:52Speaker 2: And then you start to get an awareness of how much of that life force energy is caught up in what I call distortions.
- 22:01Speaker 2: Distortions are things that siphon your life force energy away.
- 22:05Speaker 2: They hold you bound to past experience.
- 22:08Speaker 2: They hold you bound to not self reactions to the outside world and it's like your life force is leaking away all the time, right?
- 22:16Speaker 2: So there are seven categories that I use to identify distortions, but I don't name them.
- 22:24Speaker 2: Everything is associated with a number and that's how we bypass a logical mind.
- 22:29Speaker 2: So I'll say, maybe, how many distortions are influencing or inhibiting your ability to create whatever it is you say you want, and you can set any intention, from physical things that are going on, like resolving headaches, knee pain, to anxiety, depression, better relationships, financial abundance, anything you say I wish this was different can be a possible intention that you would set Right.
- 22:54Speaker 2: So then I'll ask how many distortions are interfering and then I'll break that down into get through no questions.
- 23:01Speaker 2: Is there one and only one?
- 23:02Speaker 2: Is there more than one?
- 23:03Speaker 2: And wait for that sacral to respond.
- 23:06Speaker 2: Then they'll tell me how many and I'll say it's the first one in this category, is it in this category?
- 23:13Speaker 2: Is it in this category?
- 23:14Speaker 2: And at first it's such a foreign concept to the mind that the mind is pissed.
- 23:19Speaker 2: The mind is not happy with this at all, but the idea is to wear that out and have it just finally go to the back seat and surrender and be like why can't make sense of this?
- 23:31Speaker 2: Because you can fight the words, the numbers.
- 23:33Speaker 2: You can't.
- 23:34Speaker 2: Really there's no charge there, there's no trigger there.
- 23:37Speaker 2: So that's how they identify the distortion and then we'll go into how do you want to correct that, how do you want to call that power back to you and then make the change, moving forward so that it's no longer?
- 23:50Speaker 2: You know you're not recreating it.
- 23:51Speaker 2: So there's two parts, like reclaiming it from the past and moving forward differently.
- 23:58Speaker 1: Do you approach this process differently, with pure sake rolls and then emotional?
- 24:05Speaker 2: With pure sake rolls, who are really confident in their response and because these things have already happened.
- 24:14Speaker 2: Right, you're not making new decisions, so you don't have to wait for an emotional wave, but sometimes the exhaustion from the mind will get in there.
- 24:23Speaker 2: For the emotional people and it's just a matter of either not covering as much ground in one session Because the fake old generators I mean, they can cover like three, three distortions in one session and move like an amazing amount of energy throughout that process, whereas the emotional people, sometimes we have to go a little slower and not try to cover so much ground.
- 24:47Speaker 2: But I but flesh and I'll get the sense of do you want to take a break?
- 24:52Speaker 2: Do you want to stand up and walk around?
- 24:54Speaker 2: How does your body want to move?
- 24:56Speaker 2: Would a glass of water help you?
- 24:58Speaker 2: And then there comes a point where you say do you want to go on?
- 25:01Speaker 2: That's enough for today.
- 25:06Speaker 2: And honoring that because you want, or I want, even grace through my experience.
- 25:12Speaker 2: So therefore that's what I want for my you know clients to experience as well.
- 25:17Speaker 1: Yeah, and how do you tune into that?
- 25:20Speaker 1: Sake?
- 25:20Speaker 1: Roll Like, let's just say, on your own, if you're just a discovered human design and you don't know how to connect with it and you're just like starting fresh, like is there a way that we can just begin to practice like getting in tune with that and listening to it?
- 25:33Speaker 2: Absolutely.
- 25:34Speaker 2: I actually did a whole video of this on my YouTube channel of different things that you can that you can look at.
- 25:40Speaker 2: But part of it a good way, I found, is to have your partner or friend ask you yes or no questions.
- 25:47Speaker 2: You already know the answer to Like is your name, john Like?
- 25:53Speaker 2: No, that's not true.
- 25:54Speaker 2: You know.
- 25:55Speaker 2: That's a good way.
- 25:56Speaker 2: I feel like to practice and then you can I got this from Marianne Winneger you can go on to like chat, gpt or AI and say ask me 20 yes or no questions on whatever it is, and make it something that is easy on what my favorite foods are or what kind of house that I like, or you know, something that's not going to dig into sensitive areas.
- 26:23Speaker 2: Because if you try to go to what do I want to be when I grow up or do I want to be this, do I want to be that, then that makes things a little more challenging.
- 26:31Speaker 2: But if you start simple and I watch Richard Boma Do you want to do what's new?
- 26:41Speaker 2: No, okay, so he's.
- 26:43Speaker 2: He's a manifesting generator.
- 26:44Speaker 2: I think he's like one of the OG's that learned from Rob.
- 26:47Speaker 2: But he says you know, as a generator, because people will say you can't respond to yourself, and I don't know.
- 26:55Speaker 2: That's not always true for me, like I do get a say girl response when I ask myself yes or no questions.
- 27:00Speaker 2: So but I do have a lot of things to find and that could be, I don't know.
- 27:04Speaker 2: When you make a list of things that you would like to accomplish and get done, then you go down that list and say where's, where is my say girl responding, where do I have the energy to do this thing?
- 27:15Speaker 2: So something as simple as what do I want to accomplish today?
- 27:19Speaker 2: And then finding where it is and if there's no response, then not forcing it and saying, okay, I'm going to read for 15 minutes, I'm going to take a walk, I'm going to, and then I'll come back to my list and see where I respond from there.
- 27:34Speaker 2: I feel like those are good ways to start tuning in and honing and just and even when you start with those questions that you already know the answer to, like really paying attention.
- 27:45Speaker 2: How does that feel in my body?
- 27:47Speaker 2: Like does an audible aha or uh-uh come out?
- 27:52Speaker 2: Do I feel an expansion on the?
- 27:53Speaker 2: Yeah, even teaching people to notice how their body responds when they reach for a particular food.
- 28:02Speaker 1: I was going to say that I use food a lot.
- 28:04Speaker 1: I'm like do I actually want this thing?
- 28:06Speaker 1: And let me tune in and see if I do.
- 28:08Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, because my mind will tell me I always want wine.
- 28:13Speaker 1: Yeah, you know what I mean yeah.
- 28:17Speaker 2: That's what you do collectively, right, but it got to the point where I would try to reach for a bottle on the shelf in the grocery store and I couldn't make my hand grab it.
- 28:28Speaker 2: It was like when something's that over, you can't say no, right, like something you have to pay attention to because you know whatever's going on, there's alcohol is going to interfere with that process.
- 28:42Speaker 2: So do you really want to move forward or do you want to tune out?
- 28:46Speaker 2: Mm-hmm, yeah, and it can be pizza or cigarettes or whatever it is that we turn to.
- 28:52Speaker 2: How does my body feel?
- 28:54Speaker 2: Is it excited about what I'm about to put in it or is it like yeah.
- 29:00Speaker 1: I love that.
- 29:01Speaker 1: I gave up alcohol for a year and I'm slowly reintroducing a little bit here and there, like glass of wine.
- 29:07Speaker 1: But it's funny, I went out last weekend and I ordered a glass of wine but I could not physically bring myself to drink it.
- 29:12Speaker 1: So, like you said, that you're reaching, you like actually can't reach it, and so I ended up I didn't drink it, but it was so interesting.
- 29:17Speaker 1: Every time I picked it up, like I literally couldn't even bring glass to my mouth, I was just like no, I can't do it.
- 29:24Speaker 1: But it's listening, like you said, it's tuning into your body and really getting familiar with, like your body's no and yes response, because it's so easy to override that right, and I think the more that you listen to it, the more that you trust it.
- 29:34Speaker 1: That when your body's like, no, let's not drink this right now, instead of just overriding it and be like I'm going to drink it anyway, like listening is really empowering to be like, wow, you know, unfortunately I wasted a glass of wine, but I feel better for not having done it, you know, right, so important.
- 29:52Speaker 2: And down here, like I'm living in Ecuador and the expat culture is very much centered around drinking, like there's just a lot of drinking going on, and knowing that it's so much easier to practice these things when we're kind of by ourselves and out of the auric fields and the influences and expectations around us, before we try to practice that in social situations, because it'll get in there in your head and your mind will go.
- 30:20Speaker 2: Everybody else is doing it, yeah, what's the problem here?
- 30:24Speaker 1: But your body's going no, yeah, well, especially I think that.
- 30:29Speaker 1: So I have an undefined G center and so that is really affected by alcohol.
- 30:32Speaker 1: I've noticed I get very just like that, especially the next day in my emotions go crazy.
- 30:38Speaker 1: You know, if I'm not in my, if I'm not in my body, my emotions, my mind just take off Right, and then I have that G center.
- 30:44Speaker 1: That's just like feeling so unworthy or like all of those like shadows of the G center come up when I'm drinking.
- 30:49Speaker 1: But I do notice sometimes, like if I'm experiencing a lot of anxiety, like sometimes if I have a glass of wine, like I do it with the intention of knowing like it's going to, you know, just lessen it a little bit for the moment, but it's not like a long term, like I still have to do the work Right, whereas before, when I was younger, especially when I was in that three three process, it was just like I would just drink to numb, to show up and be social, because I didn't really actually want to do the things anyway, right, but I was young and I wanted to show up and I wanted they didn't want to miss anything, right.
- 31:13Speaker 1: So it was like in order for me to be here in present.
- 31:16Speaker 1: I felt like I had to drink to like minimize who I was Right, really.
- 31:20Speaker 1: Essentially it was making myself smaller to fit it.
- 31:22Speaker 1: So now, like I don't do that anymore, but like sometimes, you know, if I have, I guess like doing it with intention is just a little bit more helpful, yeah.
- 31:35Speaker 2: And that whole like realizing you might get a yes on one, but that doesn't mean a yes on two or three.
- 31:41Speaker 1: Exactly.
- 31:42Speaker 2: Exactly and being willing to stop Like.
- 31:45Speaker 2: I know one and I'm good to, and I'm going to have challenges sleeping.
- 31:49Speaker 1: Yeah, exactly.
- 31:50Speaker 1: That's what I figured out, like over the last month, that I've sort of added it back in a little bit.
- 31:54Speaker 1: That's my thing.
- 31:55Speaker 1: One, I'm good.
- 31:56Speaker 1: Two just pushes it a little bit where I'm like I don't want to feel like that.
- 32:00Speaker 1: That's you know why, kind of why I stopped.
- 32:02Speaker 1: But exactly.
- 32:04Speaker 1: Yeah, so when we're tuning into our sacral let's say we have trauma Do you work with people who really just find that the messaging can like discerning between a sacral response and then a trauma response?
- 32:18Speaker 1: Like how do we discern that line between those?
- 32:22Speaker 1: Because I think you know our body wants to keep us safe and I think a lot of times we can get really activated for things that might just be masking what our sacral is actually telling us.
- 32:31Speaker 2: So, like in the process that I use, there's no focus on the trauma because it bypasses your logical mind.
- 32:39Speaker 2: Like you are telling me what it is you want to create and then we're going to identify those, those categories, and move forward from there.
- 32:46Speaker 2: Maybe it is so.
- 32:50Speaker 2: You're talking about discerning for yourself.
- 32:51Speaker 2: Like why am I responding no to this?
- 32:53Speaker 2: Because it's actually a no, or am I responding no to this because it's based on.
- 32:58Speaker 1: That's what you're asking.
- 32:59Speaker 2: Right, yeah, trauma response.
- 33:01Speaker 2: That's why it's going to be so much easier to practice with things that have either already happened or that you know to be true, to help build your confidence and then, because that's when some rationalization can come into the picture.
- 33:18Speaker 2: Well, this is what you've been doing, you know, acting from that trauma response, is it getting you where you want to go and maybe shifting the way that you ask yourself or the way that you ask other people, you know, through a sacral session or whatever it may be?
- 33:34Speaker 2: Can you ask me that in a different way, because I have found, if you play with the wording of would it be beneficial for me to, that helps with the discernment process a lot versus do you want to?
- 33:48Speaker 2: So could you give me like a specific question that might trigger a trauma response?
- 33:56Speaker 1: I think I'm thinking more like moment to moment.
- 33:58Speaker 1: Like if I'm out in the world, you know, doing something or wanting to show up for something, and I'm triggered, right, is that like?
- 34:06Speaker 1: Is that a no from my sacral or that's my trauma response?
- 34:09Speaker 1: Does that make sense?
- 34:10Speaker 1: Like if I'm, if there's like something that I need to be doing, like discerning between what is actually a sacral now and what is just my body being triggered.
- 34:20Speaker 2: So what is?
- 34:21Speaker 2: Can you give me an example of something that triggers you?
- 34:23Speaker 2: Um, would trigger you.
- 34:27Speaker 1: Like I'm like coming up blank right now, like, like if we're talking about like me personally, it's, it's just interesting.
- 34:36Speaker 1: I I think it comes around like dating situations because my trauma comes from relationships, right, and it's like, is this person actually a no for me?
- 34:45Speaker 1: Like do I want to see them again or am I just being triggered because I felt a little bit uncomfortable and I want to stay safe?
- 34:53Speaker 2: Oh, I got you.
- 34:54Speaker 2: So then you're responding not necessarily to a question specifically, but to the circumstance, to the situation.
- 35:03Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 35:05Speaker 1: And so I know, like for me, like my own practice is now, I know I'm emotional, right, so it's like giving in time and not necessarily taking that.
- 35:12Speaker 1: But then sometimes I'm like I've learned, I just sort of trust my body, even if it's a trauma response, like I'll be like, okay, this doesn't feel good for me right now and I'll sort of like come back and journal around it and figure it out and get a little bit of clarity and like come to that space where, like you talked about before, right, like turning into that, like like I know when I meditate, like my heart opens.
- 35:31Speaker 1: Right, that's where I can come back to you and tap into like my higher self, where I'm in a neutral space and then I can tune into my sacral a little bit, be like, okay, what's a yes, what's a no, and then sort of situationally but it takes like stepping away from the situation for me to get the clarity.
- 35:45Speaker 1: So, I'm just wondering if there was maybe something in the moment that we could discern between the two of them, or if it really takes that time to sort of step away.
- 35:55Speaker 2: I would say both are true.
- 35:56Speaker 2: Right now I'm at a point in my life where if I get the sense that I don't want to be around that person anymore, I just leave.
- 36:05Speaker 2: I'm no longer interested in trying to dissect all the reasons why or the things.
- 36:11Speaker 2: I'm just not.
- 36:12Speaker 2: And if it's like I don't want to be here anymore, then I'm out Now saying that I have done a lot of work, a lot of processing, a lot of integration over you know the traumatic things that I have experienced.
- 36:29Speaker 2: But I can step away from that, break work, contact and let my wave right out and say you know this, I, something's not right for me right now.
- 36:37Speaker 2: I feel like it's better for me to leave, process those things outside of their oryx field, and that will probably give more discernment, regardless.
- 36:48Speaker 2: Just breaking or a contact with that person so that you can see was that my say go response or was that my trauma response, because if you feel completely fine away from them, then maybe it was a trauma response.
- 37:02Speaker 2: Would you like to see how this approach works?
- 37:06Speaker 2: Sure, with with that, let's do it.
- 37:14Speaker 2: I didn't anticipate asking that question, but it came flying in.
- 37:19Speaker 2: So if you're down to experiment, yeah yeah, of course.
- 37:23Speaker 2: See what happens, then I would be happy to show you.
- 37:26Speaker 2: Do you have a process that you use that brings you into heart centered space?
- 37:31Speaker 1: or sacred space.
- 37:32Speaker 1: I just I just ground my like energy cord with and then up, so I just sort of like have them both connected and then I come into my center.
- 37:39Speaker 1: Okay.
- 37:42Speaker 2: So you're, you're sending it like this away from heart center.
- 37:46Speaker 1: Well, I mean I'm connecting to earth and then connecting to source and then bringing them both in.
- 37:51Speaker 2: So it's not bringing it Perfect, so go ahead and do that process.
- 37:58Speaker 2: 3, 4, 5, 9, 1, 8, 7, 9, 1, 8, 2, 4, 5, 9, 1, 8.
- 38:04Speaker 2: So I use numbers kind of like prayer language.
- 38:09Speaker 2: They activate frequencies that will help you move forward and deactivate those that would hinder.
- 38:14Speaker 2: 3, 4, 5, 9, 1, 8, 7.
- 38:16Speaker 2: Do you have a clear intention that you would like to say yes?
- 38:21Speaker 2: Okay, do you want to say it all?
- 38:24Speaker 1: out.
- 38:24Speaker 1: Sure, I desire to release anxiety, okay.
- 38:31Speaker 2: It.
- 38:31Speaker 2: Would it be okay with you if we shifted that to resolve anxiety?
- 38:35Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 38:36Speaker 2: Okay, and do you have?
- 38:42Speaker 2: Do you ever call in assistance like other worldly, or angels, or loved ones that have passed on, anything like that?
- 38:51Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 38:51Speaker 1: I usually call in source guides any one of their highest invest Okay.
- 38:56Speaker 2: Do you have a one or two specific assistors that would like to be identified today?
- 39:01Speaker 2: No, no, okay, you're doing great on.
- 39:08Speaker 2: So many people jump ahead from the yes or no to then trying to figure it out.
- 39:12Speaker 2: I got to bring you back to the yes or no process from there.
- 39:17Speaker 2: Okay, so we have the intention to resolve anxiety.
- 39:20Speaker 2: Is that correct?
- 39:23Speaker 2: Okay, what I wrote down was resolve exhaustion.
- 39:27Speaker 2: Okay, is there any exhaustion?
- 39:29Speaker 1: involved in that.
- 39:30Speaker 1: I mean, I'm always pretty tired.
- 39:33Speaker 2: Okay, I'd like to look down if that was not what she said.
- 39:36Speaker 2: Yeah, it's about anxiety.
- 39:38Speaker 2: Okay, so we're going to kind of couple those two together.
- 39:40Speaker 2: Okay, does that feel correct to you?
- 39:41Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 39:42Speaker 2: Yeah, okay, all right.
- 39:43Speaker 2: So agendas are like subtopics, to the intention.
- 39:47Speaker 2: Is it okay with you if we identify one agenda for today and, for the example purposes, mm-hmm, mm-hmm.
- 39:55Speaker 2: Okay, could you?
- 39:58Speaker 2: Can you give me a number between one and 48?
- 40:01Speaker 2: Four, four, okay, so you got a yes and then four.
- 40:05Speaker 2: So the agenda that's coming up to look at today is associated with sleep and how that relates to the expression of anxiety and exhaustion.
- 40:15Speaker 2: Okay, all right.
- 40:17Speaker 2: Is there more than one distortion associated with resolving anxiety?
- 40:25Speaker 1: Yes, okay.
- 40:28Speaker 2: Do you know how many?
- 40:29Speaker 1: The number six came up.
- 40:31Speaker 2: Okay, so there are seven possibilities.
- 40:35Speaker 2: So we're going to look at one area of distortion today.
- 40:39Speaker 2: Is that okay with you?
- 40:41Speaker 2: Yeah, okay, so we're kind of holding the intention that we look at the one today that kind of opens the door and allows the others to start to resolve on their own Right, because you don't have to do, you don't have to check every box.
- 40:56Speaker 2: Sometimes, if you check a couple boxes, it just creates a forward opening.
- 41:00Speaker 2: Okay, so do you know the number of category distortion category that we're going to look at today?
- 41:08Speaker 2: Between one and seven, three, three.
- 41:12Speaker 2: Okay, so that's in the area of physicality.
- 41:16Speaker 2: Okay, so let's go to that chart.
- 41:23Speaker 2: So is there more than one area of physicality associated with the distortion?
- 41:33Speaker 1: Yes.
- 41:34Speaker 2: Yeah, okay, do you know how many?
- 41:37Speaker 2: There are?
- 41:37Speaker 2: Two, two.
- 41:39Speaker 2: Do you have the energy to look at both of those today?
- 41:44Speaker 1: I think my first one was no.
- 41:45Speaker 1: I want to say yes, but I think I got to know.
- 41:50Speaker 2: I wanted it to be yes too, but I got to know as well.
- 41:56Speaker 2: Okay, so there are 13 categories associated with, or subcategories associated with, physicality.
- 42:03Speaker 2: Do you know in which yours lie?
- 42:05Speaker 2: 12.
- 42:06Speaker 2: Yours lies 12.
- 42:07Speaker 2: Okay, can you give me a number between one and four?
- 42:15Speaker 1: Three.
- 42:17Speaker 2: Three yeah.
- 42:18Speaker 1: Are you ever barefoot?
- 42:19Speaker 1: Sometimes I am right now.
- 42:24Speaker 2: Okay, so the category of shoes and the number is barefoot, so is the way to resolve the distortion caused by physicality to be barefoot?
- 42:37Speaker 1: Meaning like do I need to be barefoot more, or is that like so?
- 42:43Speaker 2: will being barefoot result in the resolution of this distortion?
- 42:48Speaker 2: Hmm.
- 42:52Speaker 1: I'm not getting a clear answer.
- 42:53Speaker 1: You're not getting a clear answer.
- 42:55Speaker 2: Yeah, okay.
- 42:56Speaker 2: So is there more to explore around being barefoot?
- 42:59Speaker 2: Yes, okay, is there maybe specific timing for it?
- 43:06Speaker 1: I just thought morning.
- 43:07Speaker 1: Okay, if that's an answer to the question.
- 43:12Speaker 2: Yeah, okay, yeah.
- 43:14Speaker 2: So maybe it's not about being barefoot all day, every day, but there are specific times in the morning for you to be barefoot, is that correct?
- 43:23Speaker 1: Mm-hmm.
- 43:27Speaker 2: So isn't it nice that that was easy.
- 43:32Speaker 2: Yeah, you can start resolving anxiety and exhaustion by being barefoot and that's going to improve your sleep.
- 43:42Speaker 2: And when your sleep improves, I mean, if we can't, it doesn't to me.
- 43:49Speaker 2: If you're not sleeping, you're not healing, right?
- 43:51Speaker 2: Yeah, you can be using your sacral response and all of these things, but when you sleep, that's been the part of your autonomic nervous system that heals, that digests, that rest, that repairs, is functioning.
- 44:04Speaker 2: And if we're not sleeping, that's not happening, mm-hmm, and it's going to make it so much more challenging to do.
- 44:09Speaker 2: You have trouble sleeping.
- 44:11Speaker 1: I don't have.
- 44:11Speaker 1: So I feel like I have trouble waking up.
- 44:13Speaker 1: Okay, like I'll fall asleep.
- 44:16Speaker 1: So, okay, I get up pretty early with my kids.
- 44:18Speaker 1: But like I have always been a night person, like I get my creativity at night, I want to do everything at night, and so I, you know, I work all day and then I have my kids, and so then at night I want, I'm just not tired, I'm really activated, like I want to create, and so I'll go to bed at like 11, but then I wake up at 5.30 and it's every single.
- 44:34Speaker 1: It's just so hard.
- 44:36Speaker 1: I snooze my alarm and it's like I don't.
- 44:38Speaker 2: Right.
- 44:40Speaker 1: And it's that, I think, is the biggest thing for me.
- 44:42Speaker 1: It's like I don't know if I'm not getting enough, but I just I'm not tired at night, but as soon as I close my eyes, like I'm out, so I don't have trouble sleeping.
- 44:50Speaker 1: It's interesting, but and then like last night.
- 44:53Speaker 1: I think I went to bed at 11 last night and woke up at 9.
- 44:57Speaker 2: So I don't you know right, it's more like waking, rested and ready to go, exactly.
- 45:02Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, it takes me.
- 45:05Speaker 1: It takes me a minute to like get myself like awake and feeling functional.
- 45:09Speaker 2: So that'll be an interesting experiment to run to see if you get up and have in your barefoot while you're doing the morning things and getting ready and getting the kids ready.
- 45:18Speaker 2: If that helps you make that transition more easily.
- 45:24Speaker 1: Yeah, it's interesting because I have encountered so many people over the last like couple months that have talked about like grounding mats.
- 45:30Speaker 1: And then somebody I met at work was like oh, you should like go outside in the morning and just like grounds, like actually feed on soil, and so I did it for a few days, like last week, and I actually I remember like I felt so much more myself.
- 45:41Speaker 1: I was like wow, like I feel really good.
- 45:42Speaker 1: And then I got a little bit cold and I was like I don't want to go put my feet on there, but I have bamboo floors too, so I don't know if that would be.
- 45:48Speaker 1: You know, do the same thing?
- 45:51Speaker 2: probably not, but I'm actually feeling like this is more of a proprioception activation process.
- 46:00Speaker 2: It's going on that we don't get when we're wearing shoes, okay, like letting all the muscles in your feet move, letting all your bones move, because our shoes are so restrictive and they really inhibit healthy biomechanical patterns.
- 46:17Speaker 2: So, yeah, absolutely, ground for sure.
- 46:23Speaker 1: But just leave the slippers and shoes off at home.
- 46:26Speaker 2: Yeah, leave the shippers For how long?
- 46:33Speaker 2: Do you know how long your body is asking for you to be barefoot in the morning?
- 46:37Speaker 2: 10 minutes came up, 10 minutes yeah.
- 46:41Speaker 2: Does movement feel like an important component of that experience?
- 46:46Speaker 1: Yes.
- 46:48Speaker 2: Yeah, so it's about moving being barefoot.
- 46:52Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, cause I immediately get up and put my shoes like my slipper line and then that's, I always have those on.
- 46:57Speaker 1: But yeah, that's interesting.
- 47:00Speaker 1: Okay, I'm going to do it.
- 47:02Speaker 2: Yeah, do it and see what happens.
- 47:04Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, that's such a cool process yeah.
- 47:08Speaker 2: And if something that simple can open the door, then you don't have to figure out where's your anxiety coming from.
- 47:13Speaker 2: Why isn't there?
- 47:14Speaker 2: What are the components of it?
- 47:15Speaker 2: Like be barefoot, let your feet move yeah, get that feedback from them.
- 47:20Speaker 2: Yeah, right, like so many people have hip problems and knee problems and all kinds of issues because their feet aren't allowed to move.
- 47:30Speaker 2: So something to be aware of.
- 47:33Speaker 1: Just simple but like powerful thing.
- 47:35Speaker 1: That's very cool, yeah, so how did this process look like so before you learned human design?
- 47:40Speaker 1: How are you supporting people?
- 47:42Speaker 1: Like were you using the same system, but just not specific to sake rolls?
- 47:47Speaker 2: I was doing it for them and I was so tired of doing it for them.
- 47:51Speaker 2: Like the base, the base of this system is something called active data extension, where we do the agendas, we associate it with specific obstacles and then use techniques to move.
- 48:03Speaker 2: So people would come down into my practice physically and they would tell me what their intention was.
- 48:09Speaker 2: I would tell them the agenda, I would tell them the obstacles and then I would do the techniques and I was not feeling satisfied from that process, like I really wanted to transition into something that is more empowering.
- 48:23Speaker 2: Like I want to engage you.
- 48:24Speaker 2: I don't want anybody to tell me what's wrong with me anymore.
- 48:27Speaker 2: Like, if you're not including me and engaging me in the process, then what are we doing here Now?
- 48:35Speaker 2: That being said, sometimes there are moments in crisis where you go in and have an energy session done, a Reiki session or whatever I did a lot of tuning for in my work, but I wasn't engaged in it.
- 48:47Speaker 2: So after human design combined with, I actually did a San Pedro ceremony.
- 48:54Speaker 1: I'd be familiar with that at all.
- 48:57Speaker 2: I had a plant medicine, kind of along the lines of ayahuasca, but very, very different, and I had this moment of clarity, that thing that had been outside of my awareness, that wasn't making my life work, came front and center and from there I realized that not everything is energetic entanglement, which is what the process I described was for, for.
- 49:18Speaker 2: When the energy's tied up, we're going to untie it, like sometimes it's, you need to be barefoot, and no amount of me doing Reiki on the floor or these other techniques is going to bring about the resolution that being barefoot is.
- 49:32Speaker 2: So then I started that's when I started looking at areas of distortion how many are there?
- 49:38Speaker 2: Identifying them, and then the specifics at each and all this is kind of unfolded under a couple of months long process and it was like.
- 49:47Speaker 2: This lights me up.
- 49:48Speaker 2: This makes me respond way more than anything I was trying to do before.
- 49:53Speaker 2: But then you don't have to tell your story.
- 49:55Speaker 2: I don't have to hear it.
- 49:58Speaker 2: I don't mean that to be like you know, like I don't care and asshole, but it's hard when you hear people's stories all day long.
- 50:06Speaker 2: I remember coming home from practice in the States and telling my husband like one more person tells me the terrible thing that happened to them, like I can't take it and I feel like as soon as we start to tell our story we engage that mental mind so much and it's hard to break free from that.
- 50:25Speaker 2: So in this way we're using pure intuition, pure internal authority and we're bypassing all of that.
- 50:32Speaker 2: And it can be easy, it doesn't have to be hard.
- 50:38Speaker 1: Yeah, do people struggle a lot with just tuning into their intuition Because, even like I noticed, like my resistance of like you know, like I wanted to, it was like you would ask for a number and I'm like three, wait, six, no, seven, no, the first one was three.
- 50:50Speaker 1: Like the mind still wants to play.
- 50:54Speaker 2: The mind still wants to, and it's just about letting it be exhausted.
- 50:59Speaker 2: Yeah, and it usually.
- 51:00Speaker 2: People usually make it through a good 45, 50 minutes before they come to that point, but every time you do it it gets so much easier because you're not fighting all the time.
- 51:12Speaker 2: Your mind goes okay, I'm not invited to this.
- 51:14Speaker 2: Yeah, but it becomes more willing to surrender and easier to move through.
- 51:21Speaker 1: When I think like yes or no questions are, and maybe just because, like I'm also in this world too, but like that when I didn't have an immediate yes, then I know it's a no right, just from the same perspective.
- 51:31Speaker 1: But I think that in itself can get like oh, am I doing it wrong?
- 51:34Speaker 1: Or you know, there's still those like questions like ah, do I trust it?
- 51:37Speaker 1: Do I know?
- 51:37Speaker 1: Is it actually yes?
- 51:38Speaker 1: And I'm not understanding it.
- 51:41Speaker 2: As soon as there's a delay, that's when I know the answers.
- 51:44Speaker 1: Now, yeah, and if people try to come back and say, yeah, learning how to navigate that, yeah, well, that's that when you asked if I wanted to like see two or right, like my, I didn't have a response, so I knew it was a no, even though, like my mind, wanted to say, like yes, let's explore both, but that there wasn't a body to yes, so I was like, okay, I know it's a no then.
- 52:05Speaker 2: Right, and I've noticed with doing this, doing it this way, it doesn't take as long as you might think.
- 52:12Speaker 2: Right, because I'm really holding the space for you, like you're not in it on your own, whereas if you were trying to answer the chat, gpt, questions on a hard subject or whatever it might be, you're feeling like you're all.
- 52:27Speaker 2: You're all alone in the process.
- 52:29Speaker 2: And this is like I got you.
- 52:31Speaker 2: Yeah, and if I feel like you know, if I feel your mind trying to take it in a direction that's not where we want to go, then I'll bring you back.
- 52:40Speaker 2: From what are you?
- 52:40Speaker 2: And I let people know that upfront.
- 52:43Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm not being rude when I cut you off.
- 52:47Speaker 1: I'm bringing you back to mentor.
- 52:48Speaker 1: Sometimes we need that.
- 52:51Speaker 2: Yeah, absolutely.
- 52:52Speaker 2: What are your like personal practices around, like cleansing or protecting your energy, as you're guiding these sessions, so I too do the energy dump from source and from the earth and I radiate it outwards, and my perspective is when I do that, nothing less than love can make it into my experience.
- 53:12Speaker 2: So that's really the only protection that I've In session now.
- 53:18Speaker 2: At night, at nighttime, I will just consciously set the intention to reclaim power From any not self reaction to the outside world, to any kind of thought that keeps replaying in my head over and over, and I don't try to figure out what it is, I just say I call all that power back to me and I do that, and then I go.
- 53:41Speaker 2: You know, within a few minutes I go to sleep and and that part is over, and I sort of run these sessions on myself too.
- 53:48Speaker 2: I used to feel like you always had to be working on yourself, you know, and now it's like you do it when you respond, and I'll ask people at the end of the session, you know, is it correct for you to have another one?
- 54:00Speaker 2: Because if it's not correct, I don't want to.
- 54:02Speaker 2: Yeah, it's not going to be an enjoyable experience for me either.
- 54:09Speaker 1: Yeah, I think sometimes, you know, at certain parts of our journey it's like we're we're looking to activate the shadows To do the work.
- 54:14Speaker 1: But I've also sort of come to that space.
- 54:16Speaker 1: We're like I just let the triggers happen when they happen and then I can do the work.
- 54:20Speaker 1: Right, it's not always a constant, Like I need to be in the shadow phase to like heal it all Like it's.
- 54:24Speaker 1: Let's enjoy life a little bit.
- 54:27Speaker 2: If that's what.
- 54:28Speaker 2: If we're always looking for red lights, we're always going to find them, but there are so many open doors and green lights.
- 54:34Speaker 2: I hope, like, go in those directions, like only do the work when you know you're there are no open windows and there are no green lights.
- 54:42Speaker 2: Otherwise, enjoy, interact, engage, play.
- 54:47Speaker 1: Yeah, it's funny Sometimes, like I feel bad for always moving towards what feels good, because then I'm like, am I just avoiding?
- 54:53Speaker 1: But also, when things come up that don't feel good, I'm not, I'm not resisting and I'm not avoiding it either.
- 54:57Speaker 1: Right, I'm?
- 54:58Speaker 1: Not allowing it, I'm witnessing it, I'm moving through it, but sometimes like well, this feels really good, this feels uncomfortable, let's just go over here.
- 55:05Speaker 2: Right, and that's where I get confused.
- 55:06Speaker 1: I'm like is that my trauma response, trying to keep me safe, or you know?
- 55:09Speaker 1: But that's my own internal work that I'm constantly, constantly doing.
- 55:13Speaker 2: Right, yeah, what brings me satisfaction If we're always working on ourselves all the time, like what's the point?
- 55:20Speaker 1: I give up.
- 55:21Speaker 1: Yeah Right, I mean I feel like we're here where I've read, or I'm reading, the book the Convoluted Universe by Dolores Cannon.
- 55:30Speaker 1: I don't know if you've read that one, but she talks about it.
- 55:32Speaker 1: Just so interesting, because she talks about how Earth she basically like, through past life, regressions, contacts, beings that are, you know, in different dimensions and different energetic fields, and things like that.
- 55:42Speaker 1: But they were saying that Earth, in its like original, when it was originally created, had no humans, were in a thing, it was just a place that all these beings had come and experienced emotions and pleasure.
- 55:53Speaker 1: That was the point of Earth it's, you know, and so I always think about that.
- 55:56Speaker 1: I'm like so we're coming here, like part of us being human is to experience all of this, right, and we come here and then we struggle the whole time.
- 56:04Speaker 1: But it's like our souls come here knowing what it's going to experience, and our souls want to experience it, even though our physical bodies find discomfort in it.
- 56:11Speaker 1: So I kind of always go back to that now, right, where I'm like okay, I came here to experience this.
- 56:16Speaker 1: Like what am I?
- 56:17Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 56:17Speaker 1: I almost like get excited when I'm uncomfortable or triggered now, because I'm like, ooh, it's showing me something.
- 56:23Speaker 1: You know, I don't have to be afraid of it, I don't have to be avoidant of it.
- 56:26Speaker 1: I can do the work and now I see it.
- 56:28Speaker 1: But I can also enjoy the emotions and pleasure of life and not have to just be like always in the mud.
- 56:34Speaker 2: But we can hold both in tandem.
- 56:37Speaker 2: It doesn't have to be one or another, but that's why I've noticed I have a strong pet peeve around the question.
- 56:44Speaker 2: How are you?
- 56:44Speaker 2: Yeah, because instantly when you ask somebody that you see, the mind say oh, do I have a story to tell?
- 56:53Speaker 2: you about how I am and everything that's wrong and not going my way.
- 56:57Speaker 2: And now it's like did you do anything to cultivate joy today?
- 57:02Speaker 2: You know what about life?
- 57:05Speaker 2: Did you love or like?
- 57:07Speaker 2: Because what we talk about, what we focus on, is what we create more of, and maybe those are the green light.
- 57:13Speaker 2: And then when we get triggered and we can't find a green light, then that's the signal to do the work.
- 57:19Speaker 1: But yeah, I like that.
- 57:21Speaker 1: Anytime someone asks me that my initial response is fine, but then I'm like no, there's more to it than that.
- 57:25Speaker 1: Like you're asking like a really deep question actually.
- 57:29Speaker 2: Yeah, and as an emotional being, I don't feel like that.
- 57:32Speaker 2: We ever know how to answer that.
- 57:33Speaker 1: I know right.
- 57:35Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 57:36Speaker 2: And if you say, did you cultivate joy today?
- 57:39Speaker 2: Oh no.
- 57:43Speaker 1: Got some work to do today.
- 57:45Speaker 2: Right, because then that puts the focus of us in a direction of moving forward and not getting caught up in all of this.
- 57:54Speaker 1: Yeah, do you ever work with non-sacral beings in these sort of sessions?
- 57:59Speaker 2: I do.
- 58:00Speaker 2: I've learned to ask more.
- 58:04Speaker 2: Ok, I'm going to be very honest with you.
- 58:07Speaker 2: Projectors to me, are the most challenging and I like to go fast, ok, so I like that sacral response in moving forward.
- 58:24Speaker 2: And I've noticed it just takes a little longer for projectors to come along for the ride.
- 58:29Speaker 2: I've worked with a couple and it went amazingly, and I've worked with others and it did not go so well.
- 58:37Speaker 2: So now I think definitely my preference is generators and manifestors too.
- 58:46Speaker 2: That seems to be an OK fit, I think.
- 58:49Speaker 2: For projectors it's just like let's explore this, let's talk about it, let's really make sure we're going to be the right fit for each other, because I want you to have a great experience and I want me to have a great experience.
- 59:01Speaker 2: And if it doesn't look like that's on the table, let's find that out now.
- 59:04Speaker 2: And it's interesting to me before if I would tell somebody I don't think I'm the best fit for you, that rejection, that taking it personally, is so deep and so profound.
- 59:21Speaker 2: And now that I have human design, it's like I'm the best fit for generators oh, you're a projector, there's somebody else out there that's going to be, you know, and that makes it about.
- 59:32Speaker 2: Oh, it's just, it's not personal Mm hmm.
- 59:36Speaker 1: That's not.
- 59:36Speaker 1: Yeah, I was going to ask if you ever worked with a reflector.
- 59:40Speaker 2: No, I've never even met a reflector.
- 59:42Speaker 1: Really, I've met a few I'm actually dating a reflector right now and I'm like it's so interesting.
- 59:46Speaker 1: I'm like you're going to be my little experimentation for a whole bunch of human design stuff, but it's funny.
- 59:51Speaker 1: I've noticed like they have such a joy for life.
- 59:54Speaker 1: It's really interesting because I think, like all the textbooks, we have like a certain idea of what reflectors are, and I've met a few and I think all of them are just like so excited to be alive.
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: They're like all risk takers and it's just like so the opposite.
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: I think what our mind wants to make sense of.
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: You know, but maybe I'll send him your way.
- 1:00:14Speaker 2: Sure, if it's a correct fit, that would be interesting to navigate.
- 1:00:18Speaker 2: The because there is no inner authority with a no, it's completely open.
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: So it's interesting too because, like, as I'm around this person, I'm like, are they just reflecting me?
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: So it's so interesting.
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: I'm like, who, like where, where does our?
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: And together we create a nine and no, which is interesting, so it's just a really I don't know.
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: It's fun.
- 1:00:39Speaker 2: I love it.
- 1:00:39Speaker 2: I love the experimental nature of the whole thing, like I'll read in a book.
- 1:00:44Speaker 2: But I want to experience it, like if you're not an emotional being, you can read all the books you want.
- 1:00:50Speaker 2: Yeah, you cannot tell me whether it needs to be emotional.
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: Right, exactly, yeah, well, that's why I think you don't have the say girl respond, you can.
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: Yeah, well, and that's why I think that human interaction is so much more valuable to than the textbooks.
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: Like I can understand on an intellectual level, but actually understanding and speaking to them, because I've met projectors who don't nap and just go, go, go all the time, right, and like this reflector works a lot, it's just like super, it doesn't nap, like it has a lot of energy and it's a contrary to what you would think, right, because we're just slow and nap and not lazy but I think that term can get pegged in there but like it's just so interesting to see the energy in practice.
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: You know it's not always going to be like I need to rest and I need to move really slow, and whether that's conditioning or you know, but it's still.
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: You know it's, it is, it's fun to watch and to witness and to learn that way too.
- 1:01:42Speaker 2: Absolutely.
- 1:01:44Speaker 2: I know you're getting close to your time, so I want to ask you so there is a closing with this too.
- 1:01:50Speaker 2: Can I ask you a few more questions?
- 1:01:52Speaker 2: Sure, of course.
- 1:01:53Speaker 2: Ok, are there any possible reactions to what we did today that would be helpful for you to be aware of?
- 1:02:00Speaker 2: No, no, ok, good, I mean be barefoot, yeah, everything's a little more intense.
- 1:02:08Speaker 2: How do you know how long it will take you to process what we did today?
- 1:02:13Speaker 2: Two weeks, two weeks, ok, so two weeks of walking barefoot in the morning for 10 minutes.
- 1:02:19Speaker 2: Is there anything else you need to know about for your follow up?
- 1:02:23Speaker 2: No, is there one thing to know about for your follow up?
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: I don't know that my head's getting in the way.
- 1:02:33Speaker 2: You hold your breath.
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: Um, I don't know.
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: So I hold my breath, I mean, in what I'm doing, breath work.
- 1:02:42Speaker 2: No, yeah, I mean like when you're anxious or stressed sometimes OK, OK.
- 1:02:49Speaker 2: So maybe a couple conscious breathing with your movement.
- 1:02:52Speaker 2: Does that feel beneficial?
- 1:02:55Speaker 2: It does OK, and is there anything that goes on your action plan?
- 1:03:01Speaker 2: Yes, ok, give me a number between one and 16.
- 1:03:05Speaker 2: 12.
- 1:03:06Speaker 2: I just looked at 12.
- 1:03:09Speaker 2: So it's recognize old patterns and identities.
- 1:03:15Speaker 2: Do you need any more information on that?
- 1:03:19Speaker 2: Yes, ok, hang on one second.
- 1:03:22Speaker 2: Let me write all this down, because I always send you everything we went over so that you don't have to remember.
- 1:03:28Speaker 2: Or would a picture be enough to help you move through that?
- 1:03:32Speaker 2: Mm?
- 1:03:32Speaker 2: Hmm, ok, so I have a card for Old patterns and identities, so I'll send that to you in an email.
- 1:03:40Speaker 2: Ok, and maybe Does it feel like you get up in the morning, you look at that, you walk, you breathe and move on with your OK, ok, so turn your awareness inwards toward any void or safe left behind from all you released today and fill it with unconditional love and gratitude for yourself, your choices and all your opportunities to learn and grow.
- 1:04:03Speaker 2: Allow this new level of healing to be integrated into your being on a cellular level with ease and grace.
- 1:04:09Speaker 2: In the now moment, we offer this experience to anyone in the world who would like to have it for themselves, and love and gratitude in our hearts we close this sacred.
- 1:04:18Speaker 2: Thank you so much.
- 1:04:22Speaker 2: That was so beautiful, thank you.
- 1:04:23Speaker 2: Thank you for giving me this opportunity to share this work and connect with you, we don't always in our day to day get to interact with other people that know human design, and the other day I saw somebody with a Jean key book out and I was like oh yeah, yeah.
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: Let's be friends, yeah, and then maybe not, I don't know.
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: Yeah, well, I'd love it.
- 1:04:46Speaker 2: Is there any, or do you want to let everyone know?
- 1:04:48Speaker 2: I'll put it in the show notes, of course, but if you want to let everyone know how they can, work with you, then I'll put it in the show notes.
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: I'll put it in the show notes.
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: I'll put it in the show notes.
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: I'll put it in the show notes.
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: I'll put it in the show notes, of course, but if you want to let everyone know how they can work with you, how they can experience this process and just where they can find you online, absolutely.
- 1:05:03Speaker 2: So my website is Dr Kate plan, dr Kate plancom and I deal with a little package that has an intro to human design.
- 1:05:11Speaker 2: But it's like anybody works with you and they're already comfortable with those things and they know what intention is going on.
- 1:05:17Speaker 2: We can jump right into the identification and correction of distortions.
- 1:05:23Speaker 2: I'm also on TikTok and Instagram and I do long form videos on YouTube on women's dates and Saturdays In February.
- 1:05:30Speaker 2: I broke my phone last week and I'm getting one mule to in from the states and there's not fun doing socials from your computer.
