2:32
Speaker 4: But as we've done for the last couple of weeks,
2:34
Speaker 4: let's started the newsroom with Jeff Jenkins. Jeff, good morning,
2:37
Speaker 4: Welcome to the show, with the updates on the White
2:40
Speaker 4: Feather Lance trial or get into the final maybe maybe
2:43
Speaker 4: final hours here.
2:44
Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah, very possible. So what's happening this morning is
2:48
Speaker 6: that the jury instructions are going to be read, so
2:52
Speaker 6: everybody's got all the testimony and final testimony came yesterday
2:55
Speaker 6: from doctor David Clayman, local doctor here, and he was
2:59
Speaker 6: a rebuttal witness for the state. He reviewed all the
3:03
Speaker 6: information about the kids and the parents White Feather and Lance,
3:06
Speaker 6: and about their behavior and he had opinions on their behavior,
3:09
Speaker 6: the behavior of the parents, and so he testified as
3:12
Speaker 6: to that to the jury. And so what's going to
3:15
Speaker 6: happen this morning. There's really three things left. One is
3:18
Speaker 6: the judge, Mary Claireakers, will read the jury instructions to
3:22
Speaker 6: the jury. So you know, there are twenty counts each,
3:26
Speaker 6: so a judge reads all of the counts. So those
3:29
Speaker 6: counts will be read. And even though they're on trial together,
3:33
Speaker 6: they are charged separately. So you could find you know,
3:38
Speaker 6: just thinking of scenario here, you know, you can find
3:40
Speaker 6: White Feather guilty of something that Lance you may not
3:43
Speaker 6: think they're guilty of, you know, so the jury jury
3:46
Speaker 6: or they could find them guilty of everything or not
3:48
Speaker 6: guilty of everything. So there's a lot of choices there
3:50
Speaker 6: for the jury. But they will be read the instructions.
3:54
Speaker 6: You know, what they're allowed to do, what they're not
3:56
Speaker 6: allowed to do, and so the judge will do that
3:58
Speaker 6: and then there will be closing argument months So the
4:01
Speaker 6: prosecution will give its closing argument, this is why you
4:03
Speaker 6: should convict. The defense will give its closing argument, this
4:06
Speaker 6: is why you should find not guilty. And then the
4:09
Speaker 6: jury will start its deliberation. So you know, you never
4:13
Speaker 6: can predict really what a jury is going to do.
4:16
Speaker 6: You know, they may they make, you know, make some
4:19
Speaker 6: split decisions on some things. They may find them all guilty,
4:21
Speaker 6: may find them not guilty of everything. So we'll have
4:24
Speaker 6: to wait and see. But yeah, we definitely are in
4:26
Speaker 6: the final stages here. I would say, probably good bet.
4:29
Speaker 6: The jury might get the case after lunch. It may
4:31
Speaker 6: begin deliberating after lunch. May maybe, outside chance, they could
4:35
Speaker 6: get it before length, but probably after lunch. She'll give
4:37
Speaker 6: them a break at lunch, they bring them back in
4:39
Speaker 6: to deliberate, and we'll see how far they get. They
4:41
Speaker 6: reach a verdict today or go into tomorrow.
4:43
Speaker 4: All right, And of course we'll have complete coverage. We
4:45
Speaker 4: have our reporters in the courtroom and some riveting audio.
4:50
Speaker 4: I was listening to Jeff when I was driving in
4:52
Speaker 4: this morning, some of the audio that's come out of
4:54
Speaker 4: this trial. I know Morgan Pemberton has been covering it.
4:56
Speaker 4: I think it's Morgan's men cat skeltered. Yeah, some some
5:00
Speaker 4: rivety notaty particular from doctor Clayman yesterday. I found that
5:04
Speaker 4: of interest.
5:05
Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah, and his I mean, his testimony was I mean,
5:09
Speaker 6: if I can just boil it down, you know, he
5:11
Speaker 6: just basically said they were bad parents. You know, he
5:13
Speaker 6: said they at times he from the evidence that he reviewed,
5:18
Speaker 6: you know, he believes, yeah, that they may have tried
5:20
Speaker 6: to do some right things, but they didn't follow through.
5:22
Speaker 6: And he cited some examples about the kids being outside
5:26
Speaker 6: in t shirts in winter weather and forced to work
5:29
Speaker 6: and just and he went over some of those things
5:31
Speaker 6: and just said it was, you know, it's abusive neglect behavior.
5:36
Speaker 6: Kind of a textbook for that. So we'll see, you know,
5:39
Speaker 6: we'll see how the jury takes that. And and you know,
5:42
Speaker 6: that is the last witness, so that's kind of left
5:44
Speaker 6: on the jury, right, and and so the jury, you know,
5:47
Speaker 6: what a jury does is they don't you know, they
5:49
Speaker 6: don't they're really not allowed to take notes or anything.
5:51
Speaker 6: They just have to recall what the testimony is and
5:53
Speaker 6: make a decision from that.
5:55
Speaker 4: All right. Of course we'll have coverage on air and online.
5:57
Speaker 4: Jeff appreciated man. Thanks a lot, all right, Jeff Jenkins
6:00

6:14
Speaker 4: glance from the Putnam County Chamber of Commerce. Coming up
6:16
Speaker 4: a little bit later on al So, Johnny Ferira from
6:18
Speaker 4: Kenawa County Schools. I want to welcome in one of
6:20
Speaker 4: our fine sponsors of the show. They are good buddy
6:23
Speaker 4: Josh from Jute Security Systems. Josh, good morning, welcome to
6:26
Speaker 4: the Showy, good morning, thank you. And you know I
6:28
Speaker 4: told you off the air. I'm suffering from a little
6:30
Speaker 4: bit of a cold. Don't feel bad. It's something like that.
6:32
Speaker 4: I'm not contagious, just a little bit of a cold
6:33
Speaker 4: and sign of single on. So you may very well
6:36
Speaker 4: have to take over the show today, all right. I've
6:38
Speaker 4: done this in the past with people. One time in particular,
6:41
Speaker 4: I was talking and I remember my good friend Robbie
6:43
Speaker 4: Queen from the CAMC Foundation. I was doing an interview
6:46
Speaker 4: with Robbie and my voice completely went out in the
6:49
Speaker 4: middle of the show and so Robbie had to finish
6:51
Speaker 4: the show for me. So just no, you may have
6:53
Speaker 4: to talk.
6:54
Speaker 7: Well, hope it holds on until act gets here at all.
6:58
Speaker 4: Right, all right, so you know, if you guys sponsor
7:00
Speaker 4: the show, it's jute joot. I always spell it out,
7:03
Speaker 4: you know every time. Some people know what it is.
7:05
Speaker 4: But for those who may not know what exactly is
7:08
Speaker 4: jute security, what do you folks do?
7:10
Speaker 7: So we are a security and automation business, so we
7:13
Speaker 7: do all residential commercial security. So we do cameras, automation,
7:19
Speaker 7: smart home, different things like that as well with it.
7:22
Speaker 4: And home and business security systems. Josh have really come
7:25
Speaker 4: a long way from the simple old cameras, you know,
7:30
Speaker 4: the cameras that look like you could be filming you know,
7:32
Speaker 4: major Hollywood production with them or TV news or whatever,
7:35
Speaker 4: from being mounted to what they are now. This is
7:38
Speaker 4: the this is the high tech world, man, absolutely all right.
7:41
Speaker 4: Expound upon that.
7:42
Speaker 7: Yes, it all comes into an app that you can
7:45
Speaker 7: control from your phone. So we partner with Alarm Dot com.
7:48
Speaker 7: They're the largest security provider in the nation. So it's
7:51
Speaker 7: a really really simple app. And I feel like people
7:54
Speaker 7: get worried when you start talking about that. You know,
7:56
Speaker 7: with security and all this techie stuff you can do
7:59
Speaker 7: with it really is simple. I mean I really try
8:02
Speaker 7: to stress that to people that truly.
8:03
Speaker 4: Anybody can do it.
8:05
Speaker 7: I joke and say a lot that if my parents
8:07
Speaker 7: can do it, anybody can do it, and you know,
8:09
Speaker 7: not taking people at all, and they picked it up.
8:11
Speaker 4: Really, if if your parents are listening right now, you
8:13
Speaker 4: just got crossed off the Christmas all right? Okay, well
8:17
Speaker 4: for next year, for your birthday? How's that? How's that?
8:19
Speaker 4: Give me some of some things that do set it apart?
8:23
Speaker 4: Like you said, it's an app. Now, So I hire
8:26
Speaker 4: you guys, you come out to my home or my office,
8:29
Speaker 4: my business, whatever, because you do residential and commercial and
8:32
Speaker 4: let's just keep it with home, all right. I hire
8:34
Speaker 4: you folks to come out to my home. I give
8:36
Speaker 4: you the call to go on the website or whatever,
8:37
Speaker 4: and you come to my house. What exactly do you do?
8:42
Speaker 7: So come in and try to do an in person
8:45
Speaker 7: talk with you and just see exactly what you want.
8:47
Speaker 7: I think that That's the thing that I try to
8:50
Speaker 7: stress the most is it is purely what you want.
8:52
Speaker 7: You know, we're the professionals there. We have opinions in
8:55
Speaker 7: different ways that we typically go about doing a certain home.
8:58
Speaker 7: But I usually tell people, you know, you live here,
9:00
Speaker 7: you know the home best, You know what you want
9:02
Speaker 7: to feel secure with, and whatever that makes you feel.
9:06
Speaker 4: Like is what we go with. Okay, for some reason,
9:09
Speaker 4: we have a phone ringing. I don't know why there's
9:10
Speaker 4: a phone ringing in the studio. Is that for you?
9:13
Speaker 4: We're expecting a phone call? Was okay? All right? I
9:16
Speaker 4: don't know why the phone's are ringing in the studio,
9:18
Speaker 4: but anyway, maybe that's my that's my security system going off.
9:22
Speaker 4: Maybe maybe that's what it is. The thing I like
9:24
Speaker 4: about what you guys do is that you can go
9:29
Speaker 4: into somebody's home and you can sit down with them
9:31
Speaker 4: and explain. As opposed to just go into your local
9:33
Speaker 4: box store and buying a setup. You pretty much custom
9:36
Speaker 4: I don't want to say you custom make it because
9:37
Speaker 4: you're not in the factory, but you custom design what
9:40
Speaker 4: that particular home or what that what that business needs for.
9:44
Speaker 4: Because what the major automotive dealership needs is not necessarily
9:51
Speaker 4: what the flower shop is going to need. When we're
9:53
Speaker 4: talking about businesses and commercial property, talk about that a
9:56
Speaker 4: little bit about how you custom make it for the customer.
10:00
Speaker 7: So there's a lot of different ways that you can
10:01
Speaker 7: go into it. So it truly is just specific too,
10:05
Speaker 7: like you said your homewarre business, So there's a lot
10:09
Speaker 7: of different ways you can set up. For example, we
10:12
Speaker 7: have one customer that it wanted to save a little
10:15
Speaker 7: bit of money. They're a commercial customer. We got them
10:17
Speaker 7: a full camera set up and they wanted to save
10:20
Speaker 7: some money, so we set them up with more of
10:22
Speaker 7: a residential style with a Wi Fi camera that it
10:25
Speaker 7: just records clips at different times. They weren't happy with
10:29
Speaker 7: how many clips were going into the account there. It
10:32
Speaker 7: was filling up too fast, so we came back and
10:35
Speaker 7: offered them an extension onto that and an expansion module
10:39
Speaker 7: that stored clips a lot longer. So we kind of
10:42
Speaker 7: upgraded them a little bit to a commercial package while
10:44
Speaker 7: still saving them some money with everything. So that was
10:47
Speaker 7: something that customized for them well, and we just really
10:50
Speaker 7: try to work with you on whatever your needs are there.
10:52
Speaker 4: We had a text here to the show somebody said
10:54
Speaker 4: and I know you're not an insurance agent, but can
10:57
Speaker 4: getting systems like this lower insurance? Absolutely?
11:00
Speaker 7: Yes, so uh, whenever you are secured with us, we
11:03
Speaker 7: have a certificate that we send to you. You just
11:05
Speaker 7: send it into your insurance agent. And not all companies
11:09
Speaker 7: do it, sure, but typically most Dude, Yeah, they give
11:11
Speaker 7: you a rebate on your account, or they give you
11:13
Speaker 7: a discount on your premium or or whatever that is.
11:15
Speaker 4: It's just amazing to me as we talked, and again
11:17
Speaker 4: we're talking with the Josh Beam of Jute, how far
11:20
Speaker 4: this technology has come to it being like you said,
11:22
Speaker 4: right on, right on your phone right now. And it's
11:25
Speaker 4: it's not just to keep there's other there are other
11:28
Speaker 4: reasons to have these security systems other than just keeping
11:32
Speaker 4: bad guys out. I mean, it's a it's a safety issue.
11:35
Speaker 4: You want to check on your things at home while
11:36
Speaker 4: you're not there, not necessarily what you're looking for something bad,
11:39
Speaker 4: but just you want to you just want to check,
11:41
Speaker 4: you know, check on your on your dog in the yard,
11:43
Speaker 4: or whatever the case may be.
11:44
Speaker 7: Yep, we have package delivery now notifications for some of
11:48
Speaker 7: our doorbell cameras. A lot of husbands like to see that.
11:51
Speaker 7: See when all these packages are coming in together, their
11:53
Speaker 7: wife a hard time or something so different.
11:56
Speaker 4: Things like that.
11:56
Speaker 7: You can see if somebody would have come up to
11:58
Speaker 7: your porch and taken the package off, you know, things
12:00
Speaker 7: like that, and so a lot of people wait to
12:02
Speaker 7: get a security system until something has happened. But what
12:05
Speaker 7: we try to tell people now is, you know, it
12:07
Speaker 7: does help your insurance, it does give you a discount
12:10
Speaker 7: on those kinds of things. There's a lot of pluses
12:12
Speaker 7: to it, and you just have the peace of mind
12:14
Speaker 7: of never having to worry about something going wrong and
12:16
Speaker 7: you know, not being secured.
12:18
Speaker 4: What's the best way to contact you if people want
12:20
Speaker 4: a consultation or they just want to discuss this further,
12:23
Speaker 4: what's the best thing to do.
12:24
Speaker 7: So you can reach out to us at a protective
12:26
Speaker 7: info at protected by jute dot com or visit our
12:30
Speaker 7: website at protected by jute dot com.
12:31
Speaker 4: All right, Josh's always a pleasure to have you on
12:34
Speaker 4: the show. You know, when you make comments like husbands
12:36
Speaker 4: like to keep an eye on their wives and what
12:37
Speaker 4: they're ordering, you know somebody's going to say, well, husbands
12:39
Speaker 4: order things too, So yeah, just so you know, I'm
12:42
Speaker 4: trying to help you man, I'm trying to cover that
12:43
Speaker 4: up for you, Josh. Being from Jute, it's protected by

Speaker 8: Uh?
13:30
Speaker 7: Yeah, absolutely so. They what we tell people A lot
13:33
Speaker 7: of times is you can either take the security system
13:36

13:37
Speaker 4: We are more than.

16:40
Speaker 4: exciting things going on in Putnham County these days, including
16:43
Speaker 4: this Friday night annual Membership dinner at the Valley Park
16:47

16:52
Speaker 4: Bussy announcement was made yesterday that J. C. Penny would

Speaker 4: be closing its location at the Charleston Town Center. I'm
16:58
Speaker 4: going to get into that a little bit later on
17:00

17:07

17:09
Speaker 12: Good morning, mister Allen.
17:10
Speaker 4: How are you. I'm doing fine. Thank you for being here.
17:12
Speaker 4: You sound awful energetic this morning.
17:15
Speaker 12: Hey, we are ready for the twenty five twenty six
17:19
Speaker 12: school year, and I'm here with my colleague Jennifer Lily.
17:22
Speaker 4: Doesn't it Hi, Jennifer, good morning. I don't know whether
17:24
Speaker 4: she can hear me, and I'll be good morning, Jennifer,
17:26
Speaker 4: good morning, all right. Thank you both for being here today.
17:30
Speaker 4: What to do and what's kind of taken from the
17:32
Speaker 4: broad sands, and we'll kind of whittle down a little bit.
17:35
Speaker 4: Jennifer and Johnny talk about what is needed for parents
17:41
Speaker 4: if they want to get their kids signed up.
17:43
Speaker 12: Okay, we are going live with our online application on
17:48
Speaker 12: February third, twenty twenty five. They'll need to go onto
17:54
Speaker 12: our online application site, which is at k c F
18:01
Speaker 12: dot pre school steps dot org and on that page
18:10
Speaker 12: when you pull that up, there will be an application
18:13
Speaker 12: for the twenty five twenty six school year. Now, we
18:17
Speaker 12: encourage parents to complete that application and the information for
18:21
Speaker 12: the documents needed will be there as well. Also, we
18:27
Speaker 12: caution parents not to do the twenty four to twenty
18:30
Speaker 12: five application, which is the current year, as it is
18:35
Speaker 12: still up on the p steps website. So we don't
18:38
Speaker 12: want people to do that and then not get enrolled
18:42
Speaker 12: because we don't have their application.
18:44
Speaker 4: Yeah, so make sure that you definitely choose the right year,
18:48
Speaker 4: and we'll give out that website several more times because
18:50
Speaker 4: it's kind of difficult but to remember, but we'll give
18:53
Speaker 4: it out several several more times during the interviews. Now,
18:55
Speaker 4: I understand that you're setting up what's being called I
18:58
Speaker 4: think collaboration sites talk about that a little bit.
19:02
Speaker 3: Our collaborative fits are actually and we have pre pocasforms
19:07
Speaker 3: in daycare or church faith, faith and fight such as.
19:11
Speaker 13: You know that for students who.
19:14
Speaker 3: Need child care that most of those offer before or
19:18
Speaker 3: after care and and we have those throughout the county.
19:23
Speaker 12: And those are really important, especially for families. You know,
19:27
Speaker 12: now we have a lot of working families, so our
19:31
Speaker 12: collaborative sites do offer that after care piece. And then
19:36
Speaker 12: you know preschools Monday through Thursday and most of them
19:40
Speaker 12: offer that Friday care as well. So the collaborative sites,
19:44
Speaker 12: I would encourage families to really think about their needs
19:49
Speaker 12: and if they need after care, you know, to apply
19:52
Speaker 12: to one of our collaborative sites across Knaw County as
19:56
Speaker 12: they will offer that service and you know, keeps students
20:00
Speaker 12: in the same building through preschool which is free, and
20:05
Speaker 12: then the aftercare portion there would be a charge that
20:08
Speaker 12: would be worked out with the collaborative site.

20:33
Speaker 4: boxes that they've got, I was reading about that earlier
20:36
Speaker 4: this morning. All right, So guess one of the most
20:37
Speaker 4: frequently asked questions that you get from parents, grandparents, guardians, whatever,
20:42
Speaker 4: what to give us some of the FAQs as they.
20:45
Speaker 12: Say, okay, probably one of the most important aspects or questions.
20:51
Speaker 12: Students must be four years old by June thirtieth of
20:56
Speaker 12: twenty twenty five. That is a law enacted by our
21:02
Speaker 12: state legislature in approximately twenty eighteen. So if your child
21:08
Speaker 12: turns four on June, I'm sorry, on July first, they
21:13
Speaker 12: do not qualify for preschool in West Virginia and unless
21:18
Speaker 12: there is a developmental delay or so forth, so that
21:23
Speaker 12: date is very important. We get a lot of phone
21:26
Speaker 12: calls from parents, you know who are grandparents whose children
21:30
Speaker 12: do turn four in July, And unfortunately, because the legislature
21:35
Speaker 12: changed that law, we have to abide by that so
21:39
Speaker 12: four years old by June thirtieth of twenty twenty five.
21:44
Speaker 12: The other questions we get, Yes, our program is free
21:47
Speaker 12: throughout the day for the time frame that students are
21:51
Speaker 12: in kennaw Any school's preschool as well as the collaboratives
21:55
Speaker 12: and those basically run between seven fifteen and two fifteen
22:00
Speaker 12: somewhere in that ballpark for each of our settings. Also, lunch,
22:06
Speaker 12: a breakfast, lunch, and a snack are provided daily and
22:09
Speaker 12: that of course is free of charge. There are occasions
22:13
Speaker 12: when we offer free bussing. That is a question that
22:16
Speaker 12: many parents and grandparents do have because they need that
22:20
Speaker 12: bus to provide the transportation to get their children to school.
22:25
Speaker 12: One of the other big questions we do not have
22:28
Speaker 12: attendance areas in pre school, meaning if you work downtown
22:34
Speaker 12: Charleston and you live in Clindon, and it may be
22:37
Speaker 12: more beneficial to find a location in downtown Charleston for
22:40
Speaker 12: preschool than having to fight to get back to Clindon
22:45
Speaker 12: and by two fifteen or so forth. So we do
22:47
Speaker 12: offer that need that parents can choose the best location
22:53
Speaker 12: that suits them and for their child.
22:56
Speaker 4: That's interesting and that's and Johnny, I appreciate you pointing
22:58
Speaker 4: that out because sometimes that can be an issue in
23:01
Speaker 4: other schools with the residency requirements. So what you're saying is, again,
23:04
Speaker 4: if I have a child or grandchild and I and
23:08
Speaker 4: the example that you use, I live in Clinton and
23:11
Speaker 4: but my office, my wife's office, whatever, is in downtown Charleston,
23:14
Speaker 4: then they can just go to that. Well, they don't
23:16
Speaker 4: necessarily have to have to fend for themselves by going
23:18
Speaker 4: to the one in clin whatever.
23:20
Speaker 12: And again that would be beneficial for those families to
23:24
Speaker 12: apply for preschool in the collaborative site, and that way
23:29
Speaker 12: they don't have to worry about, you know, the after
23:32
Speaker 12: care piece that their child will remain at our collaborative
23:36
Speaker 12: site from eight o'clock in the morning until you know,
23:39
Speaker 12: five point thirty in the evening when the parents are
23:41
Speaker 12: off work to pick them up, and there's you know,
23:44
Speaker 12: the child isn't being transported from school a to a
23:48
Speaker 12: collaborative site. They're already there and safe and sound, you know,
23:52
Speaker 12: for after school.
23:54
Speaker 4: Completely understand what kind of numbers guys are we looking
23:57
Speaker 4: at in Kanon County. How many kids are involved in
23:59
Speaker 4: these programs?
24:00
Speaker 12: Oh gosh, we currently are right under fourteen hundred and
24:06
Speaker 12: that's a pretty tremendous number. We uh, and hence is
24:10
Speaker 12: one of the reasons why we we don't have room
24:13
Speaker 12: for those kids that missed the cutoff date. Unfortunately, we
24:17
Speaker 12: you know, we are providing services for those kids that
24:20
Speaker 12: make the cutoff date of the June thirtieth of the
24:23
Speaker 12: school year. And you know, each year it does fluctuate
24:29
Speaker 12: a little bit. We look at different population trends in
24:33
Speaker 12: the areas around Kannak County and as we know, you know,
24:37
Speaker 12: their populations change, people move and so forth, So you know,
24:42
Speaker 12: we take all of that into consideration, but we really
24:45
Speaker 12: are staying right around the thirteen eighty three to fourteen
24:48
Speaker 12: hundred mark, and fourteen oh two was our pre COVID numbers,
24:52
Speaker 12: so we are we're right there.
24:55
Speaker 4: And the reason I wanted to bring that up is
24:56
Speaker 4: because you know, you we hear a lot about public
24:58
Speaker 4: schools around a Ma America that some of the numbers
25:01
Speaker 4: are declining, parents are choosing other options. But it sounds
25:04
Speaker 4: like that your numbers have remained guys pretty steady.
25:07
Speaker 13: Yes, I mean, we.
25:11
Speaker 12: We've stayed really steadfast with our numbers. As in pre
25:16
Speaker 12: school we were not seeing the trends at other grade
25:20
Speaker 12: levels and or counties and so forth are seeing with
25:23
Speaker 12: pre school and we're very fortunate for that.
25:27
Speaker 4: Give us that website again for more information because it
25:30
Speaker 4: can be kind of difficult there. You can probably google
25:32
Speaker 4: it as well, but just give me your just to
25:35
Speaker 4: give it. Give us that website again, guys.
25:37
Speaker 3: It's kses dot pre school steps dot org.
25:44
Speaker 4: All right, and the deadline to get the kids registered again.
25:48
Speaker 3: Is well, it opened up on February. In this point,
25:53
Speaker 3: we don't actually have a deadline, but the sooner you
25:56
Speaker 3: do the application, the better the chance of getting to
25:59
Speaker 3: your first pre school.
26:00
Speaker 4: That would have been a better way for me to
26:02
Speaker 4: phrase it. I'm to apologize. It opens up again here
26:04
Speaker 4: real soon. Hey, guys, I appreciate you being here. Best luck.
26:08
Speaker 4: You're doing great work out there. We'll talk against us

26:11
Speaker 12: Okay, okay, mister Allen, have a great day as well.
26:14
Speaker 4: Johnny Ferira and Jennifer Lily again from Canawah County Schools.
26:17
Speaker 4: I find that interesting that and maybe maybe parents aren't.
26:21
Speaker 4: I don't say they're not quite as concerned. That's not
26:23
Speaker 4: the way to put it, but they don't seem to
26:25
Speaker 4: have the issues with numbers going down with the little kids,
26:28

Speaker 4: of get this out here right away and then we'll
27:34
Speaker 4: return to it after we talked to Ashley Offered Glance
27:36
Speaker 4: from the Putnam County Chamber of Commerce. Yesterday, the announcement
27:40
Speaker 4: was made, and it had been rumored for some time.
27:43
Speaker 4: Matter of fact, I've had texts to the show about it.
27:45
Speaker 4: I know just yesterday I did about jcpenny closing at
27:48
Speaker 4: the Charlestontown Center. The official statement was released yesterday from
27:52
Speaker 4: the corporate office that yes, jcpenny at the Town Center
27:56
Speaker 4: will be closing. The store has been one of the
27:58
Speaker 4: anchor stores, been there since the mall open back in
28:00
Speaker 4: nineteen eighty three, the last of the anchor stores, so
28:04
Speaker 4: to speak, and it is closing. And I knew because
28:07
Speaker 4: of all the online chatter I had about it, that
28:09
Speaker 4: there would be a lot of people weighing. And I've
28:11
Speaker 4: already got a couple of texts this morning so we'll
28:13
Speaker 4: read those, go to break, talk to Ashley from the
28:16
Speaker 4: Chamber of Commerce of Putnam County, and then come back
28:19
Speaker 4: and revisit the town Center story, the jcpenny story at
28:22
Speaker 4: the town Center, Texas, the whole of a boat is
28:26
Speaker 4: the body of the boat, including the bottom of the sides.
28:28
Speaker 4: Is that what hull and whole group stands for? Editors
28:32
Speaker 4: Note this is a reference to the owners of the mall.
28:34
Speaker 4: Hull the whole Group text continues where they turned the
28:39
Speaker 4: town Center into an empty body of a building. I'm
28:41
Speaker 4: surprised JC Penny held on this long, says a texture
28:46

31:59
Speaker 4: Meta now? Before ten o'clock on this Tuesday edition of
32:03
Speaker 4: the show big Ley Pigley Wiggly Hotline three zero four
32:05
Speaker 4: three four five fifty eight fifty eight. Tony Taylor texts
32:08
Speaker 4: three zero four nine three five five zero zero eights.
32:11
Speaker 4: Text says, Dave, did you see this? So what it is?
32:14
Speaker 4: It was a screenshot of what I'm presuming was a
32:17
Speaker 4: tweet that went out for Delicate Shawn Hornbuckle, and I'll
32:20
Speaker 4: read it. It says, call your federal legislators now. The
32:23
Speaker 4: Trump administration executive orders have stopped all funds to West
32:26
Speaker 4: Virginia from the twenty twenty two Inflation Reduction Act and
32:29
Speaker 4: the Bipartisan Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act from twenty twenty one.
32:33
Speaker 4: Federal dollars from the previous administration have funded or been
32:36
Speaker 4: appropriated to development such as new Core, Marshall University's economic
32:39
Speaker 4: development including cybersecurity, Apple Achian Hydrogen Hub at WVU, form Energy,
32:45
Speaker 4: and Weirton Broadband across the state of More. President Biden,
32:48
Speaker 4: Senator's mansion and capitol worked hard to benefit West Virginia.
32:51
Speaker 4: We can't lose jobs because of politics. That was a
32:54
Speaker 4: text that was sent to me on I think it was.
32:56
Speaker 4: It looks like a tweet that went out for delicate
32:58
Speaker 4: Shawan and then as timely as today's headlines on the TV.
33:04
Speaker 4: In the studio here there is a headline that I
33:07
Speaker 4: don't know if you call it a headline on TV
33:09
Speaker 4: or not, but it says White House pauses federal grants.
33:12
Speaker 4: The pause goes into effect at five pm this evening.
33:16
Speaker 4: So that is kind of where we are on that.
33:19
Speaker 4: Let's bring in Ashley offer Glance for the Putnam County
33:22
Speaker 4: Chamber of Commerce. Good morning, How are you?
33:25
Speaker 13: Good morning, Dave? How are you.
33:26
Speaker 4: I'm doing fine, suffering from a cold, but other than that,
33:28
Speaker 4: I'm okay. But that will not keep me away from
33:32
Speaker 4: a valley park on Friday night, just so you know,
33:34
Speaker 4: I'll be there for the Chamber of Commerce dinner.
33:36
Speaker 13: Oh yes, it's a party to not be mess You
33:40
Speaker 13: just put me in the corner by myself.
33:41
Speaker 4: How's that?
33:42
Speaker 13: Yeah, I mean, I don't have to quarantine you.
33:44
Speaker 4: But well, you know, there's worse things that happened before
33:48
Speaker 4: I talk about the Chamber dinner Friday, and I want
33:50
Speaker 4: to talk about some other big stuff happenings at Putnham County.
33:52
Speaker 4: There's always something going on in my native land. Talk
33:55
Speaker 4: about it.
33:56
Speaker 13: Yeah, So here in kunt Of County, obviously, there's always
33:59
Speaker 13: something going on, and you know, whether it's new businesses
34:01
Speaker 13: popping up. Obviously, we've had some recent attention for housing
34:06
Speaker 13: projects that are going on. Our development authority did a
34:09
Speaker 13: wonderful job with that, and so you know, we're we're
34:12
Speaker 13: just really fortunate to not only have the growth here
34:17
Speaker 13: in Punning County that we do, but to have the
34:19
Speaker 13: community that we do.
34:22
Speaker 4: Talk about the development in Puttnham County and the bodies
34:25
Speaker 4: that are coming in because there is a major home
34:29
Speaker 4: complex going up not even half a mile from my house.
34:32
Speaker 4: Matter of fact, it slipped out on my back deck
34:33
Speaker 4: last night and I could you know which winter time
34:35
Speaker 4: the trees are dead. I could actually see it. I
34:37
Speaker 4: know there's been a major one going up, a couple
34:39
Speaker 4: of major ones in Windfield, the Fraser's Bottom area, there
34:43
Speaker 4: are a lot, there's a lot of construction, and we
34:45
Speaker 4: need more. We talk about this in the past. We
34:47
Speaker 4: definitely need more in Puttnam County and the surrounded areas. But
34:50
Speaker 4: there's a whole lot of people that are on the
34:51
Speaker 4: move to Putnham County right now.
34:54
Speaker 13: Yeah, absolutely there is. And you know, we we obviously
34:58
Speaker 13: have a housing shortage here Putnam County. And you know,
35:01
Speaker 13: one of the reasons that people are really interested in
35:03
Speaker 13: want to move here comes from our school system and
35:07
Speaker 13: so they do a phenomenal job, and people really love
35:12
Speaker 13: to bring their kids here when they're moving here to
35:15
Speaker 13: choose because of that, and so I want to make
35:17
Speaker 13: sure that we give that credit to them, because that
35:19
Speaker 13: is a lot of the reasons that people live here.
35:21
Speaker 13: But we are experiencing some growth in the housing market, obviously,
35:25
Speaker 13: and a lot of that has to do with we've
35:26
Speaker 13: we've always had a deficit, but some recent business growth
35:32
Speaker 13: in the area has what led that. And then obviously
35:36
Speaker 13: we participated in the housing study with advantage value that
35:38
Speaker 13: showed what the actual deficit was. And so once you
35:41
Speaker 13: can actually quantify that and show that that's what that's
35:44
Speaker 13: what really spikes the interest of developers wanting to come
35:47
Speaker 13: into the area.
35:49
Speaker 4: Give me a ballpark figure on the number of new
35:51
Speaker 4: businesses that open up in Putnam County, number of ribbon
35:54
Speaker 4: cuttings you had in twenty twenty four, Just a ballpark figure.
35:57
Speaker 13: Yeah, No, I can, absolutely.
35:58
Speaker 4: Of course you can. Of course you can.
36:01
Speaker 13: So we actually we welcomed forty five new businesses to
36:06
Speaker 13: the Chamber of Commerce. Now that wasn't all new businesses.
36:09
Speaker 13: A lot of them were, but that was new businesses
36:12
Speaker 13: that wanted to be a part of our organization. But
36:14
Speaker 13: we but as far as new businesses coming to the area,
36:17
Speaker 13: we celebrated twenty five ribbon cuttings last year.
36:20
Speaker 4: That's awesome. Again, we're talking to Ashley offered Glance, executive
36:23
Speaker 4: director of the Putnam County Chamber of Commerce. Sor Ry,
36:25
Speaker 4: let's talk about the dinner. This is coming Friday night
36:28
Speaker 4: at the Valley Park Conference Center. It is the premier
36:31
Speaker 4: event in Putnam County every year, and people not only
36:34
Speaker 4: for Putnam County, but I see a lot of folks
36:35
Speaker 4: from Kanawak County and Cable and from all over the
36:38
Speaker 4: state that attend the big doings there at Valley Park.
36:42
Speaker 13: Yeah, we are really excited. This is our largest events
36:45
Speaker 13: of the year and what it is, it's just an
36:48
Speaker 13: opportunity for us to be able to celebrate the successes
36:50
Speaker 13: that we've had here as a community and as a
36:52
Speaker 13: county and as a Chamber of Commerce. Our Chamber of
36:55
Speaker 13: Commerce is thirty nine years old and so we've been
36:58
Speaker 13: hosting this dinner for the entirety of the life of
37:02
Speaker 13: the Chamber. And we're really fortunate because our members really
37:05
Speaker 13: rallied behind us to support this event. We have thirty
37:07
Speaker 13: seven sponsors this week for the dinner, and all of
37:11
Speaker 13: them will be bringing their employees, their family, their friends,
37:15
Speaker 13: and we'll be able to celebrate some really great things
37:20
Speaker 13: that have been going on here at Putnam County. Like
37:22
Speaker 13: I said, you know, our chair for twenty twenty four
37:26
Speaker 13: was Megan Hannah and she'll be presenting on what some
37:29
Speaker 13: of these successes were of the year. And then our
37:32
Speaker 13: incoming chair, Chris Wallace, he will be our Board of
37:36
Speaker 13: directors will be sharing you know, what we plan to
37:38
Speaker 13: do this year, and then in addition to that, we
37:41
Speaker 13: like to acknowledge our board members. And then we give
37:44
Speaker 13: away two awards, our Mayle Lester Community Service Award and
37:47
Speaker 13: our Young Leader Award. Our Mayle Lester Community Service Award
37:51
Speaker 13: is in recognition of our founder, the late Mail Lester,
37:56
Speaker 13: and so it's an opportunity for us to showcase one
37:58
Speaker 13: of our really great community members, you know, somebody that
38:04
Speaker 13: has dedicated their life to the betterment of Putnam County.
38:07
Speaker 13: And so we're excited to be able to give that
38:08
Speaker 13: out this Friday.
38:10
Speaker 4: All right, dark, how are we looking on tickets for
38:12
Speaker 4: Friday Night?
38:13
Speaker 13: Yeah, so they're still If you want to grab some
38:16
Speaker 13: sponsorships are obviously done because I've got to get things
38:19
Speaker 13: to the printer. But if you want to grab some
38:21
Speaker 13: individual tickets, we still have some available. You're not going
38:24
Speaker 13: to want to miss it. We've got One of the
38:25
Speaker 13: really fun things that we do with our dinner is
38:28
Speaker 13: we bring in some really great entertainment. And I have
38:31
Speaker 13: to say that the entertainment that we are bringing in
38:33
Speaker 13: this year is a type of entertainment that I have
38:36
Speaker 13: been trying to get for a couple of years, so
38:38
Speaker 13: I'm really excited about that. The theme this year is
38:42
Speaker 13: setting the bar higher than ever before, and so that's
38:47
Speaker 13: our vision going into twenty twenty five, and this event
38:51
Speaker 13: is to kick off to that.
38:52
Speaker 4: All right, people want to get their tickets over the
38:55
Speaker 4: next I would suggest you get them today or tomorrow.
38:58
Speaker 13: What's the best way to do Yeah, the online registration
39:03
Speaker 13: is open until five o'clock today, so you can go
39:05
Speaker 13: on the Putnam Chamber Putnam Chamber dot org head over
39:09
Speaker 13: to the events tab and then the dinner will be
39:11
Speaker 13: the first thing that pops up there. So you can
39:12
Speaker 13: get those online until five o'clock today. So I'd love
39:16
Speaker 13: it if you want to do that that you do
39:18
Speaker 13: that be four or five. But if you're like, oh no,
39:20
Speaker 13: it's five oh one, what do I do? Just give
39:22
Speaker 13: me a call, all right?
39:23
Speaker 4: And what's your phone number there at the.
39:24
Speaker 13: Chamber at three oh four seven sixty.
39:28
Speaker 12: Five one zero.
39:29
Speaker 4: All right, Ashley, always a pleasure to talk to you.
39:31
Speaker 4: You do great work. We'll talk again soon. I'll see
39:33
Speaker 4: you Friday night. Thanks a lot, see it. Then Ashley
39:36
Speaker 4: offered Glance, executive director of the Putnam County Chamber of Commerce.
39:39
Speaker 4: I guess you know when I first moved to the area.
39:42
Speaker 4: I moved to Putnam County in twenty twenty four, and
39:45
Speaker 4: at the time, Valley Park wasn't built, and they were
39:47
Speaker 4: actually having to have their chamber dinner at the Marriott
39:50
Speaker 4: in Charleston. And I remember talking to Ashley then saying,
39:52
Speaker 4: why do you have your chamber dinner if you're a
39:55
Speaker 4: Putnam County organization, why do you have your chamber dinner
39:58
Speaker 4: at the Marriott? And she said, because we don't have
40:01
Speaker 4: a place of Putnham County big enough to hold it.
40:03
Speaker 4: And I thought, well, that's a little hyperbole. Then I
40:05
Speaker 4: went to my first dinner and I realized she's right.
40:08
Speaker 4: They didn't have a big enough place to hold it.
40:10
Speaker 4: But they do now the beautiful Valley Park Conference Center.
40:12
Speaker 4: And we're talking a lot of people that come to
40:15
Speaker 4: the chamber dinner. And she said, go to the Putnam
40:17
Speaker 4: County Chamber of Commerce website or give them a call
40:20
Speaker 4: if you want to get tickets. Because the cut off,
40:22
Speaker 4: I mean, oh there, they're going to turn you away.
40:24
Speaker 4: They'll find it. Maybe you can send in the sick
40:26
Speaker 4: corner with me. They can put you over in the
40:27
Speaker 4: quarantine area, but you need to get your tickets by

41:01
Speaker 4: how about Dave bring on the whole group and ask
41:03
Speaker 4: them to explain what is going on at the mall.
41:06
Speaker 4: You know an interesting thing about that is that's the
41:09
Speaker 4: lead story on wv metronews dot com this morning is
41:12
Speaker 4: about jcpenny closing at the Town Center. And I was
41:14
Speaker 4: reading the story and the quotes that are contained in
41:19
Speaker 4: there from the whole group or from an interview that
41:22
Speaker 4: I did with mister Hull, the leader of the or
41:26
Speaker 4: the head of the company back in twenty twenty one.
41:30
Speaker 4: And so my point in saying that is to say
41:32
Speaker 4: that they've been very tight lipped about anything to my knowledge,
41:36
Speaker 4: and I could be wrong. One of my friends in
41:38
Speaker 4: TV or a newspaper can tell me different. I don't
41:40
Speaker 4: know what they've said anything at all that's been put
41:43
Speaker 4: out there about what they plan to do. So that's
41:45
Speaker 4: how far we had to go back to get a
41:47
Speaker 4: quote from the whole group. It had to be from
41:49
Speaker 4: an interview that I did with the chairman or the
41:51
Speaker 4: president or whatever his title was, back in twenty twenty one.
41:55
Speaker 4: That's how far it's it's been going back to the
41:59
Speaker 4: Posina federal grant. TEX says the WICK program is reportedly
42:02

45:42
Speaker 4: Town Center losing its final anchor, jcpenny announcing yesterday they
45:46
Speaker 4: will close their location on May twenty fifth. Now it's
45:49
Speaker 4: been there since the mall opened in nineteen eighty three.
45:52
Speaker 4: The statement from the company is contained in the story.
45:55
Speaker 4: When I say from the company, I don't mean the
45:57
Speaker 4: whole group. I mean from jcpenny. It's contained in the story.
46:01
Speaker 4: Morgan Pemberton actually spent some time yesterday talking to shoppers
46:06
Speaker 4: about it. Lots of quotes contained in the story. May've
46:08
Speaker 4: heard the story on the air as well. Now, as
46:11
Speaker 4: I mentioned, you were called the whole Group bought the
46:13
Speaker 4: Town Center back in twenty twenty one, and to be honest,
46:16
Speaker 4: they haven't done a heck of a lot with it since,
46:19
Speaker 4: except for shuttering stores. Sears and Macy's gone Tidewater closed
46:25
Speaker 4: last year. You know the story. But I'm going to
46:28
Speaker 4: say this. What gets me is people using this as
46:33
Speaker 4: an opportunity to somehow blame the Good One administration for this. Now,
46:41
Speaker 4: if you do the research, you'll find a couple of things.
46:45
Speaker 4: Number One, this isn't the only store that the corporate
46:48
Speaker 4: office of JC Pennies closing. They're closing around one hundred
46:50
Speaker 4: and twenty stores as we speak. Pennies was taken over
46:55
Speaker 4: by a private equity company. So let's please don't act
46:59
Speaker 4: like this is all on the city of Charleston, because
47:03
Speaker 4: it's not. Malls themselves have suffered. We all know that,
47:09
Speaker 4: partially for a number of reasons. You know, people like
47:12
Speaker 4: to order things online. You know, look at the Amazons
47:15
Speaker 4: of the world. But I will say other malls are
47:18
Speaker 4: doing quite well, the Huntington Mall, for example. But I
47:23
Speaker 4: don't know that it's necessarily fair to compare the other
47:25
Speaker 4: than mall and the title. I don't know that the
47:28
Speaker 4: Huntington Mall and the Town Center have a lot in common.
47:32
Speaker 4: I mean, there's a lot of difference. And as my
47:35
Speaker 4: good buddy, Tony the Wise Sage Tony the Taylor pointed out,
47:41
Speaker 4: the Huntington Mall has a lot of other things around
47:46
Speaker 4: it within a let's say, three to five mile radius.
47:49
Speaker 4: It also has plenty of free parking and easy access
47:53
Speaker 4: off the interstate, and real or perceived the safety issue
48:00
Speaker 4: around the Town Center seems to always be discussed. So again,
48:08
Speaker 4: let me reiterate. I am not someone who has always
48:11
Speaker 4: agreed with the administration of Amir Amy Goodwin on everything.
48:16
Speaker 4: But I'm not so sure how you can blame the city,
48:21
Speaker 4: any city government for the failures of a private of
48:26
Speaker 4: a private business. That's just my two cents worth, all right,
48:34
Speaker 4: let me knock out some text here. Texas Day people
48:38
Speaker 4: need to call their representatives and demand they speak up
48:41
Speaker 4: about Trump withholding grants that benefit our state. Enough is enough,
48:45
Speaker 4: says a Texter. Texas update on the whole group. They'll
48:51
Speaker 4: be bringing a monorail to the Charleston Town Center. This
48:54
Speaker 4: is huge. The monorail put Rockaway, Ogdenville and North Haverbrook
48:58
Speaker 4: on the map. Tex says Dave. Don't say the whole
49:02
Speaker 4: group hasn't done anything to the town center. Have you
49:04
Speaker 4: seen how much drywall they put up there? Has to
49:07
Speaker 4: be close to againness record, we got jokes, tj our
49:11
Speaker 4: listeners got jokes this morning.
49:13
Speaker 8: I should turn your microphone on. I guess you know.
49:15
Speaker 8: Humor is a wonderful thing. It is and it allows
49:17
Speaker 8: you to make great points. I would agree with you.
49:20
Speaker 8: I got the tail end of the conversation. There's no
49:22
Speaker 8: way you blame this on Amy. I mean this is
49:24
Speaker 8: market paced and there's a lot of variables. Anyone who
49:27
Speaker 8: wants to blame what's happened to the town center on
49:30
Speaker 8: Amy Goodwin just nah, that's not gonna work out. And look,
49:33
Speaker 8: I don't agree with her on everything, but that on
49:36
Speaker 8: this one.
49:36
Speaker 12: No.
49:37
Speaker 4: Well, and I think that it's a lot of people
49:39
Speaker 4: that just want to do a lot of finger pointing
49:40
Speaker 4: without having any real answers. That's what I have seen
49:43
Speaker 4: in this So look, I hate to see JC Pitt
49:45
Speaker 4: and and and please miss and to quote my good friend,
49:49
Speaker 4: pastor Pastor Collins, miss me with this stuff about we
49:53
Speaker 4: have nowhere to shop in Charleston. Are you freaking kidding me? Yeah?
49:56
Speaker 4: I mean have you been Have you looked around? There's
50:01
Speaker 4: a lot of places in this state TJ that would
50:03
Speaker 4: kill to have what we have in the Kanaal Valley
50:06
Speaker 4: to shop in. There's no place to shop. My favorite
50:09
Speaker 4: text with somebody said, there's nowhere to eat in Charleston.
50:12
Speaker 4: It's a restaurant week as we speak, plenty restaurants. People
50:16
Speaker 4: need to I think sometimes people need to look at
50:20
Speaker 4: the local businesses more than what they do the chains
50:23
Speaker 4: that don't give a damn for the most part about
50:26
Speaker 4: about us. But it's just me being crotchety old man.
50:29
Speaker 8: Pennies is gone. That's going to sting for a lot
50:31
Speaker 8: of people in different ways. But here's the good news.
50:34
Speaker 8: They don't have an anchor over there. Now it's time
50:37
Speaker 8: to talk about seriously moving on with them all. And
50:39
Speaker 8: maybe this, the fact they have no anchor whatsoever, facilitates
50:42
Speaker 8: that conversation. I mean, I know we have the sports complex,
50:44
Speaker 8: but what are you going to do with the rest
50:46
Speaker 8: of it? And that's the good news, all right.
50:48
Speaker 4: The Dave Allen Show on five eighty Live is brought
50:50
Speaker 4: to you by Morgan to Morgan If you're injured and
50:52
Speaker 4: hired Morgan to Morgan, America's largest injury law firm. All right,
50:55
Speaker 4: what's on the big show today, mister meadows? So we
50:57
Speaker 4: kick off ten oh six. Congressman Righty Moore joined us
51:00
Speaker 4: from Trump Draw in Miami. He's down there for that
51:03
Speaker 4: Republican conference a retreat. I mean, bottom line, Dave, one
51:07
Speaker 4: big beautiful bill, two bills whatever. They got to get taxes, border, energy,
51:11
Speaker 4: all these things put together, and they got to start moving.
51:13
Speaker 4: So Riley will give us the latest from that conference.
51:15
Speaker 4: Donald Trump was there last night.
51:17
Speaker 8: He'll update us and what the President said, and we'll
51:19
Speaker 8: ask him a bunch of questions as we always do.
51:21
Speaker 8: Ten thirty three, there's an issue with pole attachment in
51:25
Speaker 8: the state of West Virginia. You think about that. You
51:27
Speaker 8: got your power polls out in front of your house,
51:29
Speaker 8: you got a bunch of other lines on them. Two
51:31
Speaker 8: Internet service providers say they're not able to efficiently and
51:34
Speaker 8: timely connect their new fiber to those polls. They have
51:38
Speaker 8: issues with the power company. There's a whole big thing
51:40
Speaker 8: at the PSC going on. We'll talk with one of
51:42
Speaker 8: the folks in the camp that, hey, we just need
51:44
Speaker 8: to figure this thing out because federal dollars are on
51:46
Speaker 8: the line and we could lose these federal broadband dollars
51:49
Speaker 8: if we don't come up with an agreement. His name
51:51
Speaker 8: is Johnny Campsus. We'll talk with him. Coming up at
51:54
Speaker 8: ten thirty three, You join us to talk to them
51:56
Speaker 8: all more out of state wide level, and we'll get
51:58
Speaker 8: a little bit deeper into that at ten forty five.
52:01
Speaker 8: At eleven oh six, Will Thompson, US, Attorney for the
52:04
Speaker 8: Southern District. This morning, will announce that Lester, that's federal law.
52:09
Speaker 8: Excuse me, that local CEO that was convicted up its
52:12
Speaker 8: Southern Regional jail. He'll announce that today and we'll pick
52:15
Speaker 8: his brain and talk the topic. Jeff Jenkins brings us
52:18
Speaker 8: up to date on the trials at eleven thirty three.
52:21
Speaker 8: I think the Canal Trial assistantvill Trul we've been talking about.
52:23
Speaker 8: I think that wraps today.
52:24
Speaker 4: Franklyin we'll see, all right, and I'm gonna be making
52:27
Speaker 4: it appearance on the show today as Yeah, that's right. I
52:29
Speaker 4: said ten forty five, you're gonna be here. I wasn't
52:30
Speaker 4: here to hear me. No, I wasn't paying attention. I
52:32
Speaker 4: was shouting to the rooftops, Quick Texas, tear down to
52:35
Speaker 4: the town center. I put a neighborhood back where it
52:37
Speaker 4: used to be interesting. Thought, all right, gotta go. Ryan
52:40
Speaker 4: Nichols was my producer. Coming up on tomorrows show again,
52:42
Speaker 4: Alexander Gossrude candidate for US Senate, Kaylin George from the
52:45
Speaker 4: Chamber of Commerce, and more on restaurant Week. I'll see
52:47
Speaker 4: you on talk line in the bed and back tomorrow
