- 0:00So, it is currently February 16th, 2025. It's a Sunday night.
- 0:05It's 9.15 in the evening.
- 0:08Why am I saying that? Well, because when you hear this, it'll be Monday, February 17th, 2025.
- 0:17And that's because I got mandated at my job. And I was working from 7 a.m.
- 0:23To about 9.10 at night. So, there's no way I would have been able to stay up
- 0:28tomorrow morning, which is your Monday now, to do a formal episode.
- 0:32So, Have Faith, Let It Begin, Crazy Edition, starts right now.
- 0:38Have Faith, Let It Begin. It starts right now.
- 0:43Welcome to Have Faith, Let It Begin. Here's your host, Angel Santana.
- 0:50Ariel, can you say, Have Faith?
- 0:53Let it begin. Let it begin? Let it begin.
- 0:57Say, Have Faith. Let it begin. Let it begin. No. No? Okay.
- 1:03Hi, Noah. Noah! Noah!
- 1:07Happy birthday, Noah! I'll film baby. It's November.
- 1:12Little light of mine, I'm gonna let it shine.
- 1:16This little light of mine, I'm gonna let it shine.
- 1:20This little light of rain, I'm gonna let it shine. Let it shine. Let it say.
- 1:28Let it say. Yeah.
- 1:31Daddy, I'm so excited. But I have one question. What's your question?
- 1:36I'm going to be a pastor or a minister.
- 1:38Good question. I don't know, but it is all in God's hands. Good morning.
- 1:43You're listening to Have Faith Lab again, and it starts right now.
- 1:48Hey, everyone, and welcome to the, let's see,
- 1:51Monday morning edition for you, 9 17 p.m for me that's right i am about to start
- 1:58my well i've had the car started but i'm about to get going here and you're
- 2:02going to travel with me and keep me awake so they're warming up my car and we're
- 2:06off so here we go it uh happy monday for all of you i'll be passed out.
- 2:12For tomorrow morning, but I make sure that it will air for you on time.
- 2:16Here we go. I have been watching and reading just to give you an update on the whole ministry school.
- 2:23I have formally finished the gospel of Mark.
- 2:26I've done Mark, Luke, John, and I am now on Acts.
- 2:31So it's awesome. I'm having a great time.
- 2:35Also kind of watching the chosen again, because it's coming back and I I wanted
- 2:39to kind of, you know, get some characters in my mind and actors that are portraying
- 2:45Peter and Jesus and all that.
- 2:47So that when I read the material, kind of have like a face to go with it because
- 2:50I'm really into the characters and the people that are portraying,
- 2:54not characters, but the people that are portraying the real life people in the Bible on The Chosen.
- 3:00And I wanted to talk to you a little bit about a word that I have used a lot
- 3:06in our seven years here at Have Faith Let It Begin.
- 3:10And that's a very powerful word. It's forgiveness.
- 3:14Forgiveness is such a powerful, strong word.
- 3:20And it's the door's locked here in my car, in my truck, I should say.
- 3:23Forgiveness is so, so powerful. You know, when I hear that word,
- 3:28I think about recent events within the last 10 years.
- 3:32I call it recent events and I drop out 10 years, but it feels like yesterday.
- 3:37And when I think back about it, I, I think about all the hurt that happened
- 3:42and without getting into too, too much detail, it was just a very hard time for me in June of 2014.
- 3:51Something happened to me that was very, very traumatic for me and was very, very difficult.
- 3:57And it made it very difficult for quite some time.
- 4:01It took about almost four and a half to five years to learn to forgive somebody
- 4:07that hurt me, two people actually.
- 4:10And when I think about the word forgiveness, I try to compare myself with what
- 4:19happened to me and what was happening to Christ.
- 4:22And not that I'm trying to even close to comparing to what Jesus did for us, to my situation.
- 4:32But I try to sit there and say to myself, wow, how he was able to forgive all of the people.
- 4:43Came after him, that spit on him, and that beat him up, that crucified him,
- 4:48just everything, even the people that were making fun of him as he was dying on the cross.
- 4:53Yet he was able to say, Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they do.
- 4:58I started thinking about when I was able to forgive.
- 5:02And even today, 11 years later, it will be 11 years later, I still struggle
- 5:09with that word forgiveness.
- 5:11And even though I forgave both individuals, I feel as if sometimes I have to
- 5:17remind myself and to play back in my mind as I was saying those words,
- 5:26how I felt more at peace,
- 5:28even though I did nothing wrong.
- 5:31And I think about all of you and I say to you the question, When was the last
- 5:37time you forgave someone?
- 5:39We're human, right? We've all at one point have been hurt.
- 5:42We've all been put in a position where somebody has done something to us and
- 5:48we've had this feeling of uncertainty or maybe this feeling of insecure, insecurities.
- 5:56And just not feeling like we are worthy and just of power to say, I forgive you.
- 6:06And sometimes we throw that word around. Oh, you know, I forgive you.
- 6:08It's all good. But you really don't forgive.
- 6:10You know what I mean? Like we said those words before. I know I have and I haven't meant it.
- 6:15But as I've gotten closer to the Lord and have built a amazing foundation with
- 6:22Christ, I can honestly tell you that I have forgiven people and I have forgiven those two individuals.
- 6:30And it's even though I forgave, it still hurts.
- 6:35It hurts because I have to remember of their actions.
- 6:40But even though I'm sharing with all of you that it hurt, I also sense this feeling of relief.
- 6:47And I feel as if even when I talk about it today, Christ is holding on to me
- 6:53and saying, you did the right thing.
- 6:56So I want all of you today to think about that word, forgiveness. I want all of you to.
- 7:03Think about anything or anyone that has hurt you or has made you feel uncomfortable.
- 7:09Anything that you feel deserves forgiveness. And I love what they say,
- 7:15you know, forgiveness is earned. It's not given.
- 7:18I want you to think about that. I'm not here to tell you what to do.
- 7:22It took me five years to forgive.
- 7:25And there's more forgiveness I have to do.
- 7:28There's others that I have to forgive. And as I'm doing this,
- 7:32as I'm learning to go back and deal with certain things that I know I need to
- 7:36forgive others for doing,
- 7:38as I slowly check this off my list, I feel even closer to God.
- 7:44So I'm just asking all of you to think about forgiveness.
- 7:48Think about all that has happened to all of us. And I want you to just think
- 7:53about forgiving someone today while working on your hardest to figure out a way to forgive.
- 8:00And if you're not sure how to do it, if you're uncertain, and if you're hurting
- 8:05just because I'm bringing it up,
- 8:07let's pray together and hope that this prayer helps you as it did me,
- 8:12our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy need.
- 8:17Kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
- 8:21Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors.
- 8:28Lead us not into temptation, deliver us from evil for yours is the kingdom,
- 8:33the power and the glory forever. Amen.
- 8:36Heavenly Father, at this time, I ask you to watch over our half faith that it begins family.
- 8:42I ask you, Lord, to just come into our hearts, allow the love of you and your
- 8:47healing touch, and allow the Holy Spirit to come into our hearts,
- 8:52breathe into the ears of us saying, it's okay to let go. It's okay to forgive.
- 8:59It's okay to move forward. And I just hope and pray that today's episode reaches all of you.
