Transcript
- 0:00No.
- 0:02It's an unfortunate time.
- 0:05Like to welcome you to the funeral parlor.
- 0:07Oh sign me up.
- 0:09I'm uh sad to say that the uh family is gathered here today to pay final respects to their loved ones.
- 0:17Who died?
- 0:18Well, that not not the person in the coffin that you were hoping to see.
- 0:24And I use the term hoping to see.
- 0:26Who am I who am I here?
- 0:27Who am I here to see?
- 0:28Loosely, but you were expecting to see the family that you were going to see.
- 0:34If my grandmother died, I want to see her.
- 0:36I wanna I wanna make sure pay your final respects until all of a sudden you go to New York City and they were mourning the loss of their father, and they were shocked when they uh you know went to attend the wake and instead found a stranger lying in the coffin.
- 0:50When we uh opened the coffin, we find another man, and they were trying like for hours trying to convince us that he was our father.
- 1:02They say that they found like in the same week another person with a similar name.
- 1:10We don't know where our father is at right now.
- 1:14They say that they cremated him, but this reminds me of every sitcom where all of a sudden the dog gets lost or dies, and then they try to pretty much episode like a hamster or something.
- 1:32Right, and they try to replace it with a different one.
- 1:35Yeah.
- 1:35And you're like, this isn't snuffles.
- 1:37I mean, in the defense, okay, in the very beginning, I will say this.
- 1:42Most of the time, the the deceased doesn't look exactly the same.
- 1:46Either they got a little puffy.
- 1:48Oh, yeah.
- 1:48Or this is true.
- 1:50Well, you've done makeup for your grandmother.
- 1:52Yeah.
- 1:53And uh, I'm sure you tried to get as close.
- 1:56Well, I don't know if you put your makeup spin on her and you know, really painted her, painted the barn for the travel north.
- 2:03She had the red lips.
- 2:06No, no, no.
- 2:07No, I but you know what, you're right.
- 2:08She looked pretty much like her, but it wasn't exactly.
- 2:11But I've gone to funerals and I was like, ooh.
- 2:13Yeah.
- 2:14Where it looks like they just took a bike pump and we're like, we are insensitive.
- 2:19So I could see in the beginning, you could look at it, but then I mean, at some point you're gonna be like, mmm, that's not dad, our our father.
- 2:28Right, right, right.
- 2:29I thought you were gonna say that he was gonna all of a sudden walk in the door and be like, what's up, homie?
- 2:33What are you doing?
- 2:34By the way, our reaction both of us, when they said uh they we they cremated him and they evidence is gone.
- 2:42Um not only that, what if you were like me, I don't want to be cremated.
- 2:46What do I want, Allie?
- 2:47You know my wants.
- 2:48Uh he wants to be frozen.
- 2:49Yes, and and potentially launched into space if it ever gets cheap enough, right?
- 2:53That too.
- 2:54We're we're starting with the frozen.
- 2:57The the aliens can, you know, have their way with me and figure out how to bring me back.
- 3:01And you know, whenever I get my taters tater skins out of the deep freezer and then I see your face in my freezer, do I be like, What up, Scott?
- 3:08Just give me a little rub on the head.
- 3:09Yeah.
