A 20-year-old man, Lezleon Evans, is now facing murder charges after allegedly shooting and killing 25-year-old Lamar Ross in downtown Columbus last November. After initially fleeing police in Strongsville with false information, Evans was eventually captured by the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force in Cleveland and returned to Columbus to stand trial. His bond was set at $2 million, with strict conditions including no drugs, weapons, violence, or contact with the victim’s family.
