- 0:00SPEAKER_00: Well, there's really only one way to start today, and that is Um, excuse me?
- 0:08SPEAKER_00: It's the 21st of September! That's right! Thank God there are now 31 days in September.
- 0:17SPEAKER_00: I couldn't survive ten more days without a paycheck.
- 0:19SPEAKER_01: I'm just saying! My gosh, that is the first of September.
- 0:28SPEAKER_00: I heard something interesting about this song.
- 0:29SPEAKER_01: Oh, what it fun fact?
- 0:31SPEAKER_00: So, this song we all thought was, well, gonna celebrate fall.
- 0:36SPEAKER_00: Here we are, you know, like uh this point in September.
- 0:38SPEAKER_00: No, it was Maurice from the band Earthwind and Fire's original due date for his son.
- 0:43SPEAKER_00: Oh my god, that's so cool! I never knew that.
- 0:46SPEAKER_00: Who came early, but the first of August doesn't ring the same as the 21st of September.
- 0:52SPEAKER_01: So I did this.
- 0:56SPEAKER_01: Wait, wait, did you say 1st of August?
- 0:58SPEAKER_00: Yeah, he was way early, huh?
- 1:00SPEAKER_01: Very like crazy Nicky early.
- 1:03SPEAKER_00: Yeah, right?
- 1:04SPEAKER_00: Exactly.
- 1:04SPEAKER_01: That's funny because I watched the documentary that um Quest Love did, and they never talked about that.
- 1:11SPEAKER_00: Really?
- 1:11SPEAKER_00: Mm-mm.
- 1:12SPEAKER_00: Yeah, that's the story that I heard.
- 1:20SPEAKER_01: I completely believe you.
- 1:21SPEAKER_00: But that's listen, I heard it from sources of the news.
- 1:25SPEAKER_01: Oh, fantastic.
- 1:26SPEAKER_00: So I gotta tell you, I'm awful, I'm awful awake, and I really shouldn't be right now.
- 1:32SPEAKER_00: I'm awfully not.
- 1:33SPEAKER_00: You're not either.
- 1:34SPEAKER_00: What happened to you?
- 1:35SPEAKER_00: You were gonna be canning all weekend.
- 1:37SPEAKER_00: I was canning till 11:30 last night.
- 1:39SPEAKER_00: Oh girl, quilt tomorrow, please.
- 1:42SPEAKER_00: And pie baking on Thursday.
- 1:44SPEAKER_00: Woo! Kind of reminds you of that uh reunion you went to at Liv's what about six months ago.
- 1:52SPEAKER_01: Oh gosh, it was so much fun.
- 1:58SPEAKER_01: You know what the scary thing is?
- 2:00SPEAKER_00: What's up?
- 2:01SPEAKER_01: That was only like two and a half months ago.
- 2:03SPEAKER_01: Oh, because I was a teacher was in town and she was off for the summer.
- 2:07SPEAKER_01: Like, that's just going to show you how time is so messed up this year.
- 2:13SPEAKER_00: Oh, yeah.
- 2:14SPEAKER_00: So messed up.
- 2:14SPEAKER_01: And like, I'm sorry, is Christmas tomorrow?
- 2:16SPEAKER_01: Yes.
- 2:17SPEAKER_01: Or is 4th of July tomorrow?
- 2:18SPEAKER_01: I don't know.
- 2:19SPEAKER_01: I don't know.
- 2:20SPEAKER_00: All right.
- 2:20SPEAKER_00: So I gotta tell you this.
- 2:21SPEAKER_00: I should be, I should be like face first on the counter.
- 2:24SPEAKER_00: I had the most broken seat sleep last night.
- 2:26SPEAKER_00: Why?
- 2:27SPEAKER_00: And it was Ginger's fault.
- 2:28SPEAKER_00: And then at one point I'm like, you better not be acting like Junior.
- 2:31SPEAKER_00: You know, Junior has well, well, I'm telling you, you know.
- 2:34SPEAKER_00: Sundowners.
- 2:35SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 2:36SPEAKER_00: So normally, no.
- 2:37SPEAKER_00: Normally, pugs, this is oh, this is the time of year if you have a pug, it's the best dog on the planet because hibernation season comes.
- 2:45SPEAKER_00: Now, the ironic part is for a pug, hibernation season's really 13 months out of the year.
- 2:50SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 2:50SPEAKER_00: But it really takes effect when the temperatures drop.
- 2:53SPEAKER_01: The best snugglers ever, huh?
- 2:54SPEAKER_00: All they want to do is sleep, right?
- 2:55SPEAKER_00: Except last night.
- 2:56SPEAKER_00: She kept barking and barking and barking and on and off.
- 2:59SPEAKER_00: And I'm like, I mean, literally all night I'm like, shh a bear?
- 3:03SPEAKER_00: Shh! You know, doing one of the I sound like I'm curling, right?
- 3:06SPEAKER_00: Was it a bear?
- 3:07SPEAKER_00: No.
- 3:08SPEAKER_00: So I get up this morning and I go into the bathroom and I'm scratching my bears.
- 3:12SPEAKER_00: I can hear it.
- 3:13SPEAKER_00: Uh sorry, is that a rugged beard?
- 3:16SPEAKER_00: I should exfoliate.
- 3:18SPEAKER_00: So I go into the bathroom.
- 3:19SPEAKER_00: Now my bathroom butts up to the hallway.
- 3:20SPEAKER_00: That's a man's face.
- 3:22SPEAKER_00: That's right.
- 3:22SPEAKER_00: So my bathroom butts up to the hallway bathroom.
- 3:24SPEAKER_01: Ironically, mine sounds the same.
- 3:25SPEAKER_01: Okay, I'm sorry.
- 3:26SPEAKER_01: I'll okay, go ahead.
- 3:27SPEAKER_01: All right.
- 3:27SPEAKER_00: We both have to scratch our beards.
- 3:29SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 3:30SPEAKER_00: There you go.
- 3:30SPEAKER_00: So uh mind whack.
- 3:32SPEAKER_00: Very nice.
- 3:33SPEAKER_00: Uh so my bathroom butts up to the other bathroom that the kids use, like when they're brushing their teeth and stuff at night.
- 3:39SPEAKER_00: And I hear something running.
- 3:40SPEAKER_00: So now I'm in my mind, I'm like, okay, so Ginger must have heard something running.
- 3:46SPEAKER_00: So I dart down the hall and I'm like, oh my god, someone left the faucet on all night, right?
- 3:51SPEAKER_00: I'm thinking I'm gonna have the flood of a century.
- 3:53SPEAKER_00: So I bang the door open, right?
- 3:54SPEAKER_00: And I flick the light on, the faucet's off, and I hear this.
- 4:00SPEAKER_00: Kind of like the sound that if something accidentally went off in your nightstand.
- 4:04SPEAKER_00: Yep.
- 4:04SPEAKER_00: You know the sound.
- 4:05SPEAKER_01: Quite familiar.
- 4:06SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 4:06SPEAKER_00: And I look down, Kevin's flipping electric toothbrush has been going in circles all night.
- 4:12SPEAKER_01: This is what did that happen?
- 4:15SPEAKER_01: I don't know.
- 4:16SPEAKER_01: Well, there's a little button, it's what's battery operating.
- 4:18SPEAKER_01: I get that, but like it's weird that it did he like leave it on?
- 4:22SPEAKER_00: He must have set it down thinking that he turned it off and then it vibrated itself into the sink and kept doing circles all night.
- 4:29SPEAKER_00: So ginger's thinking she's like, I don't know the sound.
- 4:32SPEAKER_00: And I'm waking everybody up on this, right?
- 4:34SPEAKER_00: Because they have such good uh hearing.
- 4:36SPEAKER_00: Oh, completely.
- 4:37SPEAKER_00: So you know, now mind you, uh, Gideon and Henry were also with me.
- 4:41SPEAKER_00: Passed right out, hard as a carp.
- 4:42SPEAKER_00: You know, but Ginger, rah, rah, rah, rah, rah.
- 4:44SPEAKER_00: I'm like, oh my god.
- 4:46SPEAKER_00: All because of an electric toothbrush.
- 4:47SPEAKER_01: Oh my god, that's hilarious.
- 4:49SPEAKER_01: I'm like, this is what kept me up all night?
- 4:51SPEAKER_01: And then once you got rid of the sound, was she good?
- 4:54SPEAKER_00: Well, by that point, we're already up.
- 4:56SPEAKER_00: I'm like, you're so going outside to go to the bathroom after this.
- 4:59SPEAKER_00: That's what?
- 5:00SPEAKER_00: What time was all this?
- 5:02SPEAKER_00: Right as my alarm went off.
- 5:03SPEAKER_00: I fought through it.
- 5:04SPEAKER_00: I'm like, oh my god.
- 5:05SPEAKER_01: That sucks.
- 5:06SPEAKER_01: I'm so sorry.
- 5:07SPEAKER_00: So that that was that.
- 5:08SPEAKER_00: Uh not as much exhilarating as canning until eleven o'clock at night.
- 5:12SPEAKER_00: Or quiltic.
- 5:13SPEAKER_00: Or quiltic that's Wednesday, Alex.
- 5:15SPEAKER_00: Right?
