Latest / Tea Time w/Amie & Bev / Episode #325: Stop Looking for Others to Fill Your Cup
Transcript
- 0:02Speaker 1: Hi, everybody, Welcome to tea Time with Amy and Bev.
- 0:04Speaker 1: We're back again.
- 0:08Speaker 2: So how is everything going?
- 0:10Speaker 1: Well, it's why you know, you probably don't realize this
- 0:12Speaker 1: because I don't very often share it. We have over
- 0:14Speaker 1: three hundred and sixty videos out there, so over this
- 0:17Speaker 1: past six years.
- 0:19Speaker 2: Wow, I know, doesn't.
- 0:21Speaker 1: Even seem like it. No, And when we started this
- 0:24Speaker 1: in twenty twenty, and so when even when people talk
- 0:27Speaker 1: about twenty twenty, it's like, oh my gosh, that that
- 0:30Speaker 1: was literally like six years ago, and it doesn't it does.
- 0:34Speaker 1: It seems almost like it was yesterday. To me. It
- 0:38Speaker 1: doesn't seem like it's been that long. And this is
- 0:40Speaker 1: how long you and I have been hanging out together
- 0:43Speaker 1: doing these videos and having these conversations for ourselves, mainly
- 0:48Speaker 1: just saying this is our therapy session that we share
- 0:53Speaker 1: with everybody else. So we just want to say I
- 0:56Speaker 1: appreciate all the people over the years who have coming,
- 1:00Speaker 1: gone and are still with us, have watched our content.
- 1:03Speaker 2: Hopefully you're you're.
- 1:06Speaker 1: Finding things that are working for you through our conversations
- 1:09Speaker 1: and we're just cheering you on with wherever you are
- 1:13Speaker 1: in life and with yourself. And just know that you're okay.
- 1:17Speaker 1: No matter where you're at, what you're doing, you're okay,
- 1:19Speaker 1: and you can do something different, so.
- 1:24Speaker 2: Love it. It's true. You don't have to stay. You
- 1:28Speaker 2: don't have to be the old dog that can't learn
- 1:30Speaker 2: new tricks, because there's no such thing as an old
- 1:31Speaker 2: dog that can't learn new tricks. They all can learn tricks. Yes,
- 1:35Speaker 2: it doesn't matter of a stage, and so can we
- 1:38Speaker 2: because because we're constantly evolving being there is no other way.
- 1:46Speaker 1: Yeah, and it's a it's a stay the same. And
- 1:51Speaker 1: if it's uncomfortable, that's on you. If you're realize it's
- 1:54Speaker 1: uncomfortable and you want something different, that's also on you.
- 1:58Speaker 1: So god news, bad news. It's your responsibility.
- 2:03Speaker 2: So yeah, I was gonna say good news because it's
- 2:10Speaker 2: it's in your power. And bad news is you can't
- 2:12Speaker 2: blame anybody else for it as given away your power
- 2:15Speaker 2: and you're not you're not living, you're still not happy.
- 2:18Speaker 1: That's right. Thank you for defining that because I was
- 2:22Speaker 1: I was pausing for people to catch on, which was great. No,
- 2:27Speaker 1: it was great that you you brought that in because
- 2:29Speaker 1: that's where I was going. And uh, and it's true,
- 2:34Speaker 1: like it's my responsibility on how I feel. And you know,
- 2:41Speaker 1: when we lean into the idea that our parents are
- 2:44Speaker 1: supposed to love us, our friends are supposed to love us,
- 2:47Speaker 1: our lovers are supposed to love us. And and when
- 2:50Speaker 1: they don't, then what or if they're no longer there?
- 2:55Speaker 2: Then what.
- 2:57Speaker 1: If they decide to go in a different direction and
- 2:59Speaker 1: not be around you? Than what right we try to
- 3:02Speaker 1: find somebody else to fill that role? And ultimately, we
- 3:08Speaker 1: just had this conversation in our last video that having
- 3:12Speaker 1: the relationship so so not even leaning into the last
- 3:18Speaker 1: conversation of love, but leaning into the conversation of having
- 3:22Speaker 1: a relationship with you. So you have a lot of
- 3:27Speaker 1: people have their best friend, right and that's their go
- 3:30Speaker 1: to person. What if that person's not there anymore in
- 3:34Speaker 1: any circumstance, in any moment, at any time, that person
- 3:39Speaker 1: may no longer be here on this planet, And then
- 3:42Speaker 1: what so, who is your best friend?
- 3:47Speaker 2: Who is?
- 3:48Speaker 1: Ultimately let me put that way, who is or what
- 3:51Speaker 1: is ultimately your best friend? And it's you and your body.
- 3:55Speaker 1: It's you and you Because my body cannot be taken
- 3:59Speaker 1: away from me while I'm in while my spirit is
- 4:04Speaker 1: occupying it. This is my body, This is my relationship
- 4:08Speaker 1: with me? And this is my best friend? And then
- 4:12Speaker 1: how do you treat your best friends even outwardly external
- 4:15Speaker 1: best friend? So Bev's my best friend? How do I
- 4:19Speaker 1: talk to her? How do I treat her? Do I
- 4:21Speaker 1: nurture her when she's upset? Do I do I express
- 4:24Speaker 1: compassion to her? Do I love on her? How do
- 4:27Speaker 1: I treat my outwardly my external best friend? And then
- 4:32Speaker 1: why aren't the question is right? Why aren't you doing
- 4:35Speaker 1: that for yourself? Why aren't you treating yourself with compassion
- 4:39Speaker 1: and kindness and love? And and why aren't you being
- 4:43Speaker 1: mindful of what you're consuming, whether it's liquids, foods, music programs,
- 4:52Speaker 1: TV shows, movies? How?
- 4:56Speaker 2: How?
- 4:56Speaker 1: What is the relationship with your best friend? Which is
- 4:59Speaker 1: your body?
- 5:00Speaker 2: How are you?
- 5:01Speaker 1: How you when you look in the mirror, if you
- 5:04Speaker 1: even look in the mirror past your outfit? But when
- 5:08Speaker 1: you look in the mirror, do you pick yourself apart?
- 5:11Speaker 1: Do you point out all your flaws? Do you focus
- 5:15Speaker 1: on how much you're aging and the wrinkles are showing up?
- 5:18Speaker 1: Or do you you know, comment and focus on your
- 5:24Speaker 1: muffin top and your bulges and your very ghost veins
- 5:29Speaker 1: and right, are you pointing out all your flaws or
- 5:35Speaker 1: the opposite, right is uh are you amazing? I'm amazed
- 5:40Speaker 1: at how our bodies show up every single day, every
- 5:44Speaker 1: single day. My eyes open, I can see, I can
- 5:48Speaker 1: hear my alarm go off, like every single day, my
- 5:51Speaker 1: body shows up for me through all of these years.
- 5:55Speaker 1: And it's like that. It's it's like the unconditional love
- 6:01Speaker 1: of a dog that no matter how you treat it,
- 6:06Speaker 1: it keeps showing up, it keeps wanting to love on you.
- 6:08Speaker 1: It's keeps once to have your attention, and our body does.
- 6:13Speaker 1: It's the same, same like, it just shows up every day,
- 6:16Speaker 1: and then we treat it like shit. Well, ultimately you're
- 6:19Speaker 1: treating yourself like shit, and then you wonder why people
- 6:22Speaker 1: outwardly are treating you like shit, because like attracts like,
- 6:25Speaker 1: and you're going to attract what it is you're doing
- 6:29Speaker 1: within yourself, and then you get all butt hurt because
- 6:33Speaker 1: people are treating you like that. But ultimately they're just
- 6:36Speaker 1: picking up the messages that you are doing for yourself
- 6:41Speaker 1: and they're picking up on that, and then they're treating
- 6:43Speaker 1: you like that. But oh, by the way, that's not okay.
- 6:47Speaker 1: Somebody else can't do it, but I can do it
- 6:49Speaker 1: to myself. So anyway that conversation where I just I
- 6:52Speaker 1: could go in so many different directions. So whatever you
- 6:55Speaker 1: have to add to that, take.
- 7:00Speaker 2: It away, because we're teaching people how to teach how
- 7:04Speaker 2: we want to be treated, not even realizing that we're doing.
- 7:07Speaker 2: We're showing people this is how, this is how you
- 7:09Speaker 2: show love to me, because this is how I show
- 7:12Speaker 2: love to myself, or don't show love to myself, and
- 7:14Speaker 2: then it's totally reflected outside of self every time. And
- 7:20Speaker 2: it's not anybody else's job, but our own personal job,
- 7:25Speaker 2: because it's not otherwise I'm giving my power away to
- 7:27Speaker 2: somebody else and saying that, hey, figure out how to
- 7:30Speaker 2: make me happy because I can't do it. Well, they
- 7:33Speaker 2: got to figure out how to make themselves happy. It's
- 7:36Speaker 2: not a matter of making me happy. It's a matter
- 7:39Speaker 2: of each other. And it's not an egoic thing either.
- 7:41Speaker 2: It's not a self centered thing. It's a you got
- 7:44Speaker 2: to realize you matter. Otherwise you're not able to give
- 7:47Speaker 2: fully to others, not from a space of love, not
- 7:50Speaker 2: from a whole space of love. Otherwise you're just you're
- 7:55Speaker 2: depleting self and so it's really just taking the time
- 8:00Speaker 2: to back to the same things we've talked about before.
- 8:03Speaker 2: Is taking the breath, noticing how I'm feeling, how am
- 8:06Speaker 2: I treating myself right this moment, How you talked about it?
- 8:09Speaker 2: I think just recently talking to like talking to yourself
- 8:13Speaker 2: like you're the two year old. So I mean that
- 8:16Speaker 2: is your two year old self. How are you going
- 8:17Speaker 2: to talk to your two year old self? Bucket up,
- 8:19Speaker 2: Buttercup or suck it up, Buttercup. How are the same
- 8:22Speaker 2: bucket up, suck it up, Buttercup. Now, It's like you
- 8:28Speaker 2: can guide them, just like I can guide myself. I
- 8:31Speaker 2: guide myself. I talked to Nikki all the time. That's
- 8:34Speaker 2: my younger version of myself because that was my nickname
- 8:36Speaker 2: as a child. And I will talk to Nicki and
- 8:38Speaker 2: I will check in with her. I've had lots of moments,
- 8:42Speaker 2: even lots of opportunities, we'll call them opportunities lately for
- 8:47Speaker 2: me to reflect on how am I showing up and
- 8:50Speaker 2: why am I responding that way? Gosh, there was something
- 8:53Speaker 2: even recently, and I haven't been talking about a lot
- 8:56Speaker 2: of stuff. Kids have gotten new vehicles, and now they're
- 9:00Speaker 2: talking about me meeting them somewhere else so they can't
- 9:02Speaker 2: come out to my house. And it's like my victim,
- 9:05Speaker 2: my child's self came out and it's like, oh great,
- 9:08Speaker 2: now it's more excuses of why you're not coming out
- 9:10Speaker 2: and hanging out at my house. I mean, the road
- 9:13Speaker 2: might be a little bit bumpy to get out to
- 9:14Speaker 2: my house, but hey, I'm out in a space that
- 9:16Speaker 2: is quiet, it's calm, there's peace, there's not a lot
- 9:20Speaker 2: of energy being put out by wi fis and all
- 9:24Speaker 2: the other stuff. And I got pretty but hurt about it.
- 9:27Speaker 2: And then we were talking about it at home and
- 9:30Speaker 2: it's like I didn't say anything to the kids because
- 9:32Speaker 2: this is for my process. I can't blame them because
- 9:36Speaker 2: otherwise I'm giving away my power. I felt upset and
- 9:39Speaker 2: I felt hurt recognizing that it was like I'm letting
- 9:42Speaker 2: myself it's okay, letting myself know it's okay for me
- 9:45Speaker 2: to feel these things. It's okay. It's not okay for
- 9:49Speaker 2: me to sit in the space forever. It's not okay
- 9:52Speaker 2: from my perspective. It's not okay for me to sit
- 9:55Speaker 2: and blame someone else for the way that I'm feeling
- 9:57Speaker 2: right now. It's easy to say, hey, you're making me
- 9:59Speaker 2: feel this, but I also know where they're coming from
- 10:02Speaker 2: from their space too, and so it was a process
- 10:06Speaker 2: for me to kind of work through these things. And
- 10:08Speaker 2: I have to because why, because I love these people,
- 10:11Speaker 2: because I don't want to make them feel like shit?
- 10:13Speaker 2: What is it? What has it ever made you or
- 10:15Speaker 2: how has it ever made a person feel better? By
- 10:18Speaker 2: bringing the other person down to the energy that you're
- 10:20Speaker 2: at right now, it doesn't make anybody feel better. The
- 10:24Speaker 2: outcome doesn't feel good. You feel like shit. That's where
- 10:28Speaker 2: the apology. I probably should apologize for that, and you
- 10:30Speaker 2: might sit and mull it over for a few days
- 10:32Speaker 2: or a few years or whatever. It's it's an unnecessary process.
- 10:37Speaker 2: It was processes that we learned from somebody else, because
- 10:40Speaker 2: that's how they did it. Because why, because we were
- 10:44Speaker 2: telepathic and we picked up how our parents were feeling,
- 10:48Speaker 2: how our caretakers were feeling, how what was the energy
- 10:50Speaker 2: of the people that were around us. We picked up
- 10:53Speaker 2: on that and learned how to navigate with their tools. Well,
- 10:57Speaker 2: I'm taking all those tools and putting them back at
- 10:59Speaker 2: the store, or I no longer need them, they can
- 11:02Speaker 2: have them. I'm learning new tools to replace those. Because
- 11:05Speaker 2: why I want to be happy? What is my goal?
- 11:09Speaker 2: I want to be happy. I want to be happy.
- 11:12Speaker 2: I want to fill love all the time, and I
- 11:14Speaker 2: know that I can. And the only way that I
- 11:16Speaker 2: can do that is by making the choice. That is
- 11:19Speaker 2: my choice, to make that decision that that is the goal,
- 11:24Speaker 2: that is my ultimate that is where my attention's going
- 11:27Speaker 2: to go. Period. But I have to make these choices.
- 11:32Speaker 2: I have to. It's not up to somebody else. And
- 11:35Speaker 2: thank god, because somebody else doesn't have a freaking clue
- 11:38Speaker 2: about what I really want or need. They don't. And
- 11:41Speaker 2: how many times did we not even know what we
- 11:43Speaker 2: wanted or what we needed, but we wanted someone else
- 11:46Speaker 2: to be able to come in and figure it out
- 11:48Speaker 2: for us. It reminds me of being a kid. Mom
- 11:51Speaker 2: I'm bored, and I hear my granddaughter say it all
- 11:55Speaker 2: the time. I'm bored. Oh, I'm like, looking around outside,
- 11:58Speaker 2: how could you possibly be bored? Look at the mountains
- 12:00Speaker 2: over there, look at look? Have you seen any critters?
- 12:03Speaker 2: Did you see any birds? Like? How can you be bored?
- 12:05Speaker 2: With that? And then we start talking about different things
- 12:06Speaker 2: and she's not bored anymore. But just giving her guidance, like,
- 12:09Speaker 2: how can you be bored? You're not bored. You're just
- 12:13Speaker 2: expecting someone to entertain you all the time, because that's
- 12:16Speaker 2: what you've learned. It's not up to someone else to
- 12:18Speaker 2: entertain you all the time. It's up to Otherwise, we're
- 12:21Speaker 2: giving our power away again. It's up to us. It's
- 12:24Speaker 2: up to us to stand in our power to figure
- 12:26Speaker 2: out what do I like, what do I want?
- 12:30Speaker 1: And it's you know, thinking about them not wanting to
- 12:34Speaker 1: come to your house, and then you're getting triggered over
- 12:36Speaker 1: it is there's a million reasons why that's happening.
- 12:42Speaker 2: Oh yes, right, one one.
- 12:45Speaker 1: We already know. Gives you opportunity to process why am
- 12:49Speaker 1: I getting upset about this? Two? You know, when we're
- 12:53Speaker 1: when we're in that.
- 12:54Speaker 2: Space of.
- 12:59Speaker 1: Okay, they can make their own choices and I get
- 13:02Speaker 1: to make my own choices. And if this is how
- 13:03Speaker 1: it's working out, then I can choose not to go
- 13:06Speaker 1: into town. I can choose to stay at my house.
- 13:08Speaker 1: I can choose to do go hike that mountain. Right,
- 13:12Speaker 1: It's okay. They have it's their choice as well, just
- 13:15Speaker 1: like me and I can sit and be upset about
- 13:19Speaker 1: this or I can not be bored. I can figure
- 13:23Speaker 1: out something to entertain myself and fill my day and
- 13:28Speaker 1: fill me up. Maybe this is an opportunity for me
- 13:31Speaker 1: to spend time with me. Maybe this is an opportunity
- 13:34Speaker 1: that's keeping me from getting into an accident or something like,
- 13:38Speaker 1: we don't even know, we don't even know. It's how
- 13:41Speaker 1: are we going to respond to that experience? And I'm
- 13:48Speaker 1: still learning that as well. I still have to remind
- 13:51Speaker 1: myself there's a reason, there's a reason, there's a reason.
- 13:54Speaker 1: It's okay, it's okay. It's like, I have to really
- 13:57Speaker 1: be in the moment of my thoughts because I caught
- 14:00Speaker 1: myself the other day starting to go down an uncomfortable
- 14:04Speaker 1: rabbit hole and I was like, no, this isn't this
- 14:08Speaker 1: is I'm making shut up, don't start, don't go, like
- 14:11Speaker 1: I had to give myself and I was driving and
- 14:14Speaker 1: I'm like, no, this is not the path I'm taking.
- 14:18Speaker 1: I just like ah, and and redirecting my thoughts that
- 14:25Speaker 1: you know, it's just gonna be an amazing day, and
- 14:27Speaker 1: it's okay whatever they choose to do, and it's okay
- 14:29Speaker 1: whatever I choose you and it's this is where we're
- 14:32Speaker 1: at and I'm gonna be okay with it because ultimately
- 14:36Speaker 1: it's my choice of how I want to feel. And
- 14:40Speaker 1: again knowing that every opportunity of the day gives us
- 14:44Speaker 1: an choice, an opportunity to make the choice and decision
- 14:47Speaker 1: to feel good, to be happy, to feel loved, to
- 14:52Speaker 1: feel accepted, And we just come back to when you
- 14:56Speaker 1: have that for yourself, then the external well the people
- 15:02Speaker 1: and the external part of you, it's a bonus. I
- 15:07Speaker 1: call it a bonus. If they say they love me,
- 15:10Speaker 1: if they I'm feeling accepted by them, if I'm feeling
- 15:14Speaker 1: included by them, whatever uplifting feeling that I get from
- 15:20Speaker 1: other people, I just call that a bonus because if
- 15:23Speaker 1: I'm already doing it for myself, I'm not depending on
- 15:26Speaker 1: anybody else to do it for me. But if somebody
- 15:29Speaker 1: shows up and I embrace that emotion that I am
- 15:33Speaker 1: receiving from them, then it's a oh, this is exciting,
- 15:37Speaker 1: and this is a bonus, and I'm excited that I
- 15:38Speaker 1: get to spend it with them. And then when they're
- 15:41Speaker 1: not there, when they leave, when we depart each other,
- 15:46Speaker 1: they go about their day. I go about my day.
- 15:48Speaker 1: I can still take that with me and still stay
- 15:51Speaker 1: in the relishing of the emotion and continue to fill
- 15:55Speaker 1: my own cup up, not depending on the next person
- 15:59Speaker 1: to do that. There's not a lull. It's not like, oh,
- 16:02Speaker 1: it's so happy and excited and fun. It was joyful
- 16:05Speaker 1: to be with Bev and now we do now we
- 16:07Speaker 1: now we go on our own path for the day.
- 16:10Speaker 1: And then I dip down and be like, well, now
- 16:13Speaker 1: what I'm bored. Now what am I going to do?
- 16:17Speaker 2: Oh?
- 16:17Speaker 1: I'll call so and so, because when I'm with them,
- 16:19Speaker 1: I feel really good. So I call them and talked.
- 16:21Speaker 1: Right now I'm back up, and then when that conversation's over,
- 16:25Speaker 1: then what now I'm back down? Like you're you're on
- 16:28Speaker 1: this roller coaster of emotion because you're not spending the
- 16:32Speaker 1: time to fill yourself up.
- 16:35Speaker 2: Yeah, And it just like you said, I haven't heard
- 16:38Speaker 2: that being you referred to as a bonus, And it's like,
- 16:41Speaker 2: if we look at it that way, well, of course
- 16:43Speaker 2: you're stepping into gratitude, but you're recognizing every We get
- 16:46Speaker 2: bonuses all the time, all the time. And my bonus
- 16:50Speaker 2: today is because my energy shifted and I was more
- 16:52Speaker 2: open to receiving more information or it's open to receiving
- 16:56Speaker 2: more solutions, more guidance. That's where you've stepped into place.
- 17:01Speaker 2: It's not for me to be reliant upon that, but
- 17:04Speaker 2: it's for me to be thankful in that moment that
- 17:07Speaker 2: you shared all the things that you shared of a
- 17:09Speaker 2: different perspective, that I could look at this thing for
- 17:12Speaker 2: you know, the situation, and that that just what everything
- 17:16Speaker 2: that you said was such. I'm sitting here thinking, this
- 17:18Speaker 2: is why it's so important to have the conversations. Well,
- 17:21Speaker 2: it's not just it's not important about having a conversation
- 17:24Speaker 2: so much as paying attention to your energy, stepping into
- 17:28Speaker 2: your love where you're able to receive more solutions, more
- 17:33Speaker 2: answers because you're open, you've surrendered and you're allowing. You're
- 17:38Speaker 2: allowing information to come to you that was always there
- 17:41Speaker 2: and now it'll come to you from us during our conversation.
- 17:46Speaker 2: It'll come to you from another video, from a license plate,
- 17:50Speaker 2: from a child that you know from across the room
- 17:53Speaker 2: stares at you. Is like looking at you and smiling
- 17:55Speaker 2: and only at you. You know, it's all those bonuses,
- 17:58Speaker 2: like you said, they're bonuses, and that's an awesome perspective.
- 18:01Speaker 2: I love that I get bonuses all the time. Yeah,
- 18:06Speaker 2: but how often do we sit and celebrate those bonuses?
- 18:09Speaker 2: And that's the whole thing. Celebrate those bonuses. I'm going
- 18:12Speaker 2: to celebrate this bonus all day long.
- 18:14Speaker 1: There you go. When when I get an opportunity be
- 18:18Speaker 1: home with me, I'm like, yes, it's like because I
- 18:23Speaker 1: get to spend time with me and I get to
- 18:24Speaker 1: do some things and be creative in the way I'm creative,
- 18:27Speaker 1: and that's exciting to me, and I find myself more
- 18:31Speaker 1: and more. You know, my husband's out galivanting around interacting
- 18:36Speaker 1: with people and he's like, oh, so and so is
- 18:37Speaker 1: having a barbecue. I'm like, I have to go out
- 18:41Speaker 1: and people with these.
- 18:44Speaker 2: People all week, peopled all week.
- 18:46Speaker 1: I want to stay with my pajamas and be creative.
- 18:50Speaker 1: But yes, and those those celebrations are in a compliment.
- 19:00Speaker 1: Somebody gives you a compliment, it's just say thank you. Man.
- 19:03Speaker 1: You know, somebody sees something good in you or says
- 19:05Speaker 1: something good about you, and you just we want to
- 19:08Speaker 1: deflect it. A lot of times it's oh, you didn't
- 19:10Speaker 1: need to say that, or you didn't have to No,
- 19:13Speaker 1: you say thank you because they are an external reflection
- 19:17Speaker 1: of you and they're praising you and they're celebrating you,
- 19:22Speaker 1: and it's like, take the time to celebrate yourself. Like
- 19:25Speaker 1: Bev was saying, how often do we celebrate ourselves? So
- 19:30Speaker 1: we have to wrap this up because I have another
- 19:32Speaker 1: engagement I'm excited about, and so do you have any
- 19:36Speaker 1: final words about our conversation today?
- 19:40Speaker 2: All this remind people to celebrate themselves. Be the person
- 19:43Speaker 2: looking in your mirror. We're all one person. We're all one,
- 19:47Speaker 2: and so when someone's giving you a compliment, it's you
- 19:49Speaker 2: giving yourself a compliment. Allow yourself to receive, because it's allowing,
- 19:53Speaker 2: receiving and giving.
- 19:55Speaker 1: H And just real quick, one of the things I'll
- 19:58Speaker 1: do periodically is I just stand and I in the mirror,
- 20:00Speaker 1: and I'll actually get super close to the mirror so
- 20:02Speaker 1: I am focused on my eyes and I will just say,
- 20:06Speaker 1: you know what, I am so proud of you. I'm
- 20:08Speaker 1: so proud of how far you've come and where you
- 20:10Speaker 1: are today and where you were is such a huge
- 20:13Speaker 1: change and difference, and it's important, I will remind myself
- 20:18Speaker 1: it's important that we celebrate where we are, and it's
- 20:21Speaker 1: important that we remain in that expression of gratitude for
- 20:27Speaker 1: where we are and grateful for all that we have
- 20:29Speaker 1: now and be excited about where we're going. And I
- 20:33Speaker 1: say we because it's my spirit I'm speaking to and
- 20:36Speaker 1: it's this body. So I say we where we are
- 20:39Speaker 1: going because we are in this together. And when I
- 20:42Speaker 1: say that, as I just said it outwardly, is when
- 20:47Speaker 1: I say we. If I'm speaking to my spirit and
- 20:49Speaker 1: I'm speaking to my body and as Bev said, we're
- 20:51Speaker 1: all one, then we means collectively we are doing so
- 20:54Speaker 1: much better than we were.
- 20:58Speaker 2: I don't want to.
- 21:00Speaker 1: Yeah, And you know when I when I was saying
- 21:02Speaker 1: it to myself in the mirror, I'm speaking we as
- 21:06Speaker 1: me and my body and my spirit and this this
- 21:10Speaker 1: human experience that I'm having. But when we use the
- 21:15Speaker 1: term we, we are collectively collective, consciously speaking of all.
- 21:21Speaker 1: So that was just a realization I just had, just
- 21:23Speaker 1: saying all this right now. So this is also the
- 21:26Speaker 1: benefit of when Bev and I come together, we say
- 21:29Speaker 1: these things outwardly and we're like, wait, hold on there, wait,
- 21:32Speaker 1: there's a message in here somewhere, and I need to
- 21:34Speaker 1: sift this out.
- 21:35Speaker 2: So that's exactly what.
- 21:36Speaker 1: I just did. Organic conversations is what Bev and I have.
- 21:40Speaker 1: We never pre plan what we're going to talk about.
- 21:44Speaker 1: Sometimes before I hit record, we're just like, I got
- 21:46Speaker 1: a clue, don't know, don't know where this is kind
- 21:49Speaker 1: of go today, But we usually end up having some
- 21:54Speaker 1: great conversations and pulls things out of us that we
- 21:58Speaker 1: did not even know was in there. And so for that,
- 22:01Speaker 1: I'm grateful for you BEV, for taking the time always
- 22:03Speaker 1: past six years to do this on a regular basis
- 22:07Speaker 1: and then being able to share this outwardly for others.
- 22:11Speaker 1: Maybe it's the guidance you were looking for. Maybe you
- 22:14Speaker 1: think of somebody else when you're listening to these videos
- 22:17Speaker 1: or the content, and just share, be resourceful and share it.
- 22:22Speaker 1: We are Amy and BEV community. That's our connection and
