Amir Tibon's book tells how his father rescued the family on Oct 7
Haaretz journalist Amir Tibon has written a new book entitled The Gates of Gaza: A Story of Betrayal, Survival, and Hope in Israel's Borderlands.
The gripping first-person account tells how his father , a retired senior general, rushed from Tel Aviv to help save Amir and his family after Hamas terrorists invaded his home, Kibbutz Nahal Oz.
And, in parallel , Tibon tells the story of his kibbutz, on the Gaza border.
