Transcript
- 0:00SPEAKER_01: Welcome back to another episode of Healing with Purpose, a place where we share our ugly naked truths out loud on the path of ascending into our highest self.
- 0:09SPEAKER_01: If you have been following along in previous conversations, then you know that I've already offered you a framework on how to quantum leap into your higher self.
- 0:18SPEAKER_01: The soul ascension framework literally allows you to become the next identity that you dream of in your mind, but frameworks only get you so far.
- 0:27SPEAKER_01: And if you're like me, you probably also learn a lot from storytelling.
- 0:32SPEAKER_01: And you probably also learn a lot from other people.
- 0:35SPEAKER_01: I am a student just as much as I am a teacher.
- 0:38SPEAKER_01: And today I'm really excited because I am joining you as a student in understanding just how I can step into the kind of relationship that I have been calling in in the last year.
- 0:51SPEAKER_01: I am joined today by two people who not only did the work individually to heal their wounds, release old patterns, step into a next identity self, but by doing that, they actually attracted their lifelong partner.
- 1:06SPEAKER_01: So please welcome to the podcast.
- 1:09SPEAKER_01: Soon to be Josh and Dylan Friedman.
- 1:12SPEAKER_01: I'm so excited.
- 1:14SPEAKER_04: We're so excited to be here too.
- 1:16SPEAKER_01: It's gonna be really good because obviously we've been talking about relationships.
- 1:21SPEAKER_01: We've been talking about being powerhouses.
- 1:24SPEAKER_01: And what I really know the people listening and myself want to hear is what did you do to get to this position to where you guys are now getting married, you live a beautiful life.
- 1:38SPEAKER_01: If you don't already follow them on social media, their information's in the show notes.
- 1:42SPEAKER_01: They, you guys have such a beautiful love story.
- 1:44SPEAKER_01: Thank you.
- 1:44SPEAKER_01: Um, not only are you inspiring, helping hundreds of thousands of people get healthier, become more fit, but you both are incredibly successful people, collectively earning multi-millions in your business and also really in love.
- 1:59SPEAKER_01: I get to witness you guys in real life and you know on screen, you guys are really in love.
- 2:03SPEAKER_01: So I want to actually start with you, Dylan, um, because you're just such a powerhouse.
- 2:08SPEAKER_01: Like every single person that comes into your orbit, first thing they say is like, fuck.
- 2:14SPEAKER_01: She is a powerhouse.
- 2:15SPEAKER_01: But you're also just as sweet.
- 2:17SPEAKER_01: You're such as you're just as giggly, you're just as fun.
- 2:20SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 2:20SPEAKER_01: Thank you.
- 2:21SPEAKER_01: So tell us a little bit about what you had to do to kind of step.
- 2:24SPEAKER_01: We go right into it, by the way.
- 2:25SPEAKER_01: Yeah, let's just jump in.
- 2:27SPEAKER_01: What you had to do to become the type of woman that was able to attract the partner that you that you wanted.
- 2:32SPEAKER_03: Definitely.
- 2:32SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 2:33SPEAKER_03: So my story starts.
- 2:34SPEAKER_03: I lived in Illinois and then I moved to Arizona, and I've always been a big risk taker.
- 2:38SPEAKER_03: So I've always just jumped and moved and all these things, but I caught myself in an abusive relationship several years ago.
- 2:44SPEAKER_03: So when I got stuck in that, I mean I almost lost my life.
- 2:47SPEAKER_03: My ex tried to kill me.
- 2:48SPEAKER_03: So I was at a very dark point in my life, but I didn't know how I got there because I was always a strong friend, the friend that had everyone's back, the one that is so loving and so sweet and so positive.
- 2:57SPEAKER_03: So I did not know how I entered that.
- 2:59SPEAKER_03: But when I left after I got out, about seven months in, I finally was able to leave.
- 3:05SPEAKER_03: And from there, that's when my healing began.
- 3:08SPEAKER_03: And I had to really unravel why did I attract that type of person?
- 3:12SPEAKER_03: I firmly believe that everyone is a mirror in your life directly.
- 3:15SPEAKER_03: So I had to understand that it wasn't just that I was a victim to this.
- 3:19SPEAKER_03: I allowed it in my life.
- 3:20SPEAKER_03: So I had to reframe the way that I looked at my relationship, relationships, my friendships, everything.
- 3:25SPEAKER_03: So yeah, I left that relationship and I was single for four years.
- 3:29SPEAKER_03: And that's me! And in those four years, I did date a few more duds because I kept a good word for it.
- 3:40SPEAKER_03: Losers.
- 3:41SPEAKER_03: Yeah, and the losers that I was attracting, I just kept having to work through why do I keep calling this in?
- 3:46SPEAKER_03: What is going on?
- 3:47SPEAKER_03: I did really grow my business in the time that I was single.
- 3:50SPEAKER_03: I was pushing, you know, 20k plus months at that time, and I was happy and successful, but there was a lot of lonely moments, a lot of dark moments where I was like, I don't even know if I'll find someone because as I kept evolving and as I kept understanding those mirrors and what was going on, I kept moving in that direction.
- 4:09SPEAKER_03: And then I met Josh.
- 4:11SPEAKER_00: Oh my gosh.
- 4:12SPEAKER_00: Well, now it's 2022.
- 4:14SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 4:14SPEAKER_00: 2022.
- 4:15SPEAKER_00: End of 2021, we met.
- 4:17SPEAKER_00: Wow.
- 4:18SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 4:18SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 4:18SPEAKER_01: We're thank you for sharing that.
- 4:20SPEAKER_01: And we're gonna circle back to the relationship that you were in just briefly, because one thing that we talk about often is, you know, and I've shared this before.
- 4:28SPEAKER_01: God communicates to us, in my opinion, three different ways: a loving nudge, slap on the face, and then a full-on knockout.
- 4:34SPEAKER_01: And sometimes, oftentimes, we do get knocked out that requires the wake up to begin.
- 4:39SPEAKER_01: The goal in these conversations is to not have you always be knocked out.
- 4:43SPEAKER_01: So listen to what they have to say about the patterns that they were seeing, the person that they were, and Dylan said something so spot on.
- 4:51SPEAKER_01: You're talking about taking the accountability and knowing, wait a minute, I attracted this.
- 4:55SPEAKER_02: Yep.
- 4:56SPEAKER_01: So before we get back to you, Josh, I want to hear a little bit about your story because I actually don't know much about your background.
- 5:05SPEAKER_01: Um, tell me a little bit about your journey into stepping into your higher self.
- 5:11SPEAKER_04: So you speak on getting knocked out.
- 5:13SPEAKER_04: I had to get knocked out.
- 5:14SPEAKER_04: And I got knocked out real good in 2019, 2020.
- 5:20SPEAKER_04: I was living in Los Angeles, and I just was continuing to party like crazy from college and keep all these bad habits of doing drugs, chasing women, you know, not meaningful relationships, just living out of alignment, feeling like shit.
- 5:35SPEAKER_04: I was working out, I was still in good shape, not as in good shape as I am now, but I had to get knocked out, and I went through a whole realization when I was 25.
- 5:44SPEAKER_04: Uh, 24 to 25, it was 2020, right during COVID.
- 5:49SPEAKER_04: I was just like, this is not the life I want to live.
- 5:52SPEAKER_04: Nothing is in alignment.
- 5:54SPEAKER_04: I feel like shit all the time.
- 5:55SPEAKER_04: I'm not gonna accomplish nothing.
- 5:57SPEAKER_04: I was always just making excuses, pointing the finger, and not taking full responsibility.
- 6:02SPEAKER_04: And I started reading some books, uh Extreme Ownership and some other ones, Tim Grover.
- 6:07SPEAKER_04: And I was just like, holy shit, like I this is what I need to do.
- 6:11SPEAKER_04: And self-development captured me.
- 6:13SPEAKER_04: And so I just took extreme ownership.
- 6:14SPEAKER_04: I, everything in my life that was fucked up, I said it's all my fault, instead of pointing the finger at everybody else and uh hit a rock bottom.
- 6:21SPEAKER_04: I was on food stamps for a little bit, I was jobless.
- 6:24SPEAKER_04: This was in COVID, but I was continuing to push every single day.
- 6:27SPEAKER_04: So whole year went by where I was like getting myself to just be different, have different habits, different mindset shifts, rewiring and reprogramming my entire brain, my entire life.
- 6:38SPEAKER_04: I made a whole 360.
- 6:40SPEAKER_04: Like my friends from college would tell you something just like clipped, and Josh became a different person.
- 6:45SPEAKER_04: And through a year of pushing and putting in the work, I changed a lot of uh what was going on in my life.
- 6:52SPEAKER_04: And then that I think opened up space for me to meet Dylan.
- 6:56SPEAKER_04: And uh a year later, I moved to Scottsdale.
- 6:58SPEAKER_04: I wanted to live alone, I couldn't afford to live alone in LA at the time, and within two months-not even one month, of living in Scottsdale, I had started to slip back into my old ways.
- 7:10SPEAKER_04: I had been sober for almost a year at the bodybuilding show and everything, and I came to Scottsdale and I had started to go back into like the fuckboy bachelor, you know, kind of era.
- 7:19SPEAKER_04: I was 25.
- 7:20SPEAKER_04: No, I was 20 um 26, 27.
- 7:24SPEAKER_04: And uh anyway, then I met Dylan and she opened up a new door possibility with what she was doing, and I was like, oh my gosh, like I need to do this.
- 7:34SPEAKER_01: Yeah, we're gonna talk about the power of women because women, and Josh, this is why I was sharing with you yesterday.
- 7:44SPEAKER_01: Like, I'm so excited for you to be able to share this with other men because there's so many men who fear that they can't be with a woman if they're not yet at the level that they have in their mind.
- 7:58SPEAKER_01: Not really realizing that the right woman will pull you there.
- 8:01SPEAKER_01: So we're gonna talk about that.
- 8:03SPEAKER_01: But what's interesting to me in both of your individual journeys is that you had hit your rock bottom.
- 8:07SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 8:07SPEAKER_01: The same thing happened with me getting divorced, literally becoming homeless, having a business that was making$15,000 a month for several years to literally making zero dollars for several years, and then rebuilding.
- 8:19SPEAKER_01: So I completely understand the the rebuild.
- 8:22SPEAKER_01: Now, I want to know, and I know the listeners want to know, like, you both referenced talking to duds, being a fuckboy, like what like yeah, and and and it's true.
- 8:35SPEAKER_01: I mean, I think we all have to go through like the phase.
- 8:37SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 8:37SPEAKER_01: Now, I want to hear from both of you like what was going on in your life that you believe was what was attracting you to these losers, essentially, or or being the loser.
- 8:48SPEAKER_01: Like, yeah.
- 8:49SPEAKER_04: For me, are you go ahead?
- 8:50SPEAKER_04: Go ahead.
- 8:50SPEAKER_01: No, no, go.
- 8:52SPEAKER_04: For me, it was it was the alcohol, it was the drugs, it was the environment I was in, and I continued to allow myself to be in.
- 8:59SPEAKER_04: It was the identity of, yeah, I'm a sales guy and I like to go party and I just don't give a fuck and I'm wild.
- 9:07SPEAKER_04: I was bringing that same energy, that some identity from Chico State College, which I had really embodied then, and that's what I thought I was, and it was fake.
- 9:16SPEAKER_04: It was a mask.
- 9:17SPEAKER_04: It was, it was, you know, a way for me to put my energy into something that really wasn't going anywhere.
- 9:22SPEAKER_04: I've always had so much energy and positive energy.
- 9:26SPEAKER_04: Ah, just like I'm Italian, like I just want to conquer, but I whatever I put my energy into, it fucking goes crazy.
- 9:31SPEAKER_04: So I put it all into party into you know, just doing dumb shit.
- 9:36SPEAKER_04: So anyway, yeah, I I realized that that was the main thing that was causing all of this chaos.
- 9:44SPEAKER_04: And so that's why I went sober for almost a year uh during COVID in 2020 and rewired.
- 9:50SPEAKER_04: My brain, you know, did you know a whole bunch of new shit, recalibrated, had an ego death, took a whole bunch of mushrooms on the beach once and just realized I was full of shit.
- 9:58SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
- 9:59SPEAKER_04: And and yeah, so it was the bad habits that was really holding me back.
- 10:04SPEAKER_01: Yeah, that's good.
- 10:05SPEAKER_01: And I I can definitely relate to that.
- 10:07SPEAKER_01: It usually, and I can't speak for you, but for me, when I was partying really heavy, it's because I was just running away from my reality.
- 10:14SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I was like, my reality sucks, and so I'm going to forget about it, not realizing that numbing was making the reality 300 times worse.
- 10:21SPEAKER_01: So can definitely relate.
- 10:22SPEAKER_01: Dylan, what about you?
- 10:23SPEAKER_01: What what who were you that was attracting these people?
- 10:26SPEAKER_03: Definitely had a party phase.
- 10:27SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 10:28SPEAKER_03: For me, it was more I was the fixer.
- 10:30SPEAKER_03: I love humans.
- 10:32SPEAKER_03: I love love.
- 10:33SPEAKER_03: I pour my energy, my soul, and my positivity into so many people.
- 10:40SPEAKER_03: And I realized that I was trying to fix everyone.
- 10:44SPEAKER_03: People that were not willing to grow.
- 10:46SPEAKER_03: I was like, come on, let's let's go.
- 10:49SPEAKER_03: So that was my pattern.
- 10:51SPEAKER_01: And that that's such a that's so beautiful.
- 10:53SPEAKER_01: Like, you are just such a beautiful person.
- 10:55SPEAKER_01: Thank you.
- 10:55SPEAKER_01: And it's a quality that so many of the women that I work with also share, myself included.
- 11:01SPEAKER_01: I mean, we genuinely want women by nature are nurturing and loving.
- 11:07SPEAKER_01: In our truest essence, we just want to love.
- 11:10SPEAKER_01: Like that's it.
- 11:11SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 11:11SPEAKER_01: And so for those of us that do a really good job at helping other people, we can find ourselves in partnerships.
- 11:17SPEAKER_01: It's why a lot of female coaches struggle in dating.
- 11:20SPEAKER_01: So I wanted to have this conversation because it's so many of my girlfriends are like, I don't understand.
- 11:25SPEAKER_01: I helped so many people, but I'm not really helping myself in a relationship.
- 11:28SPEAKER_01: So for Josh, we heard it was waking up, like, oh my gosh, this life is just not for me.
- 11:34SPEAKER_01: Obviously, you went through something really traumatic and you don't need to go into detail, but I would like to hear about the switch that happened internally, mentally, that goes, oh my gosh, wait a minute.
- 11:43SPEAKER_01: I don't deserve this, I deserve something better.
- 11:46SPEAKER_03: Yeah, yeah.
- 11:47SPEAKER_03: I mean, I almost lost my life, right?
- 11:50SPEAKER_03: So when that happened, that was the huge wake-up call.
- 11:54SPEAKER_03: Wow, like I I am giving so much love and trying to help and trying to be with this person, but they I mean it was pure evil.
- 12:04SPEAKER_03: So getting out of that, I again I did a lot of work on why that happened in my life.
- 12:11SPEAKER_03: And that's when I went down the partying.
- 12:13SPEAKER_03: Like I partied a lot in college, of course, and what I just but mine was even worse after college, and it was a lot of like I was so controlled in that relationship that I wanted to do the opposite when I got out of it.
- 12:23SPEAKER_03: I was like, I'm gonna drink, I'm gonna go out, I'm gonna talk to whoever I want.
- 12:26SPEAKER_03: And so I went way too deep on that.
- 12:28SPEAKER_03: And that's when I had to have those like really internal wake-up calls when I was lonely or you know, anxiety or laying in bed.
- 12:34SPEAKER_03: Like, what did I do?
- 12:35SPEAKER_03: Like, why?
- 12:36SPEAKER_03: So it was a lot of those moments, but I will be transparent in those four years.
- 12:39SPEAKER_03: Like, I did have to keep learning in like little things, and it got easier and easier, and I remember the exact moment.
- 12:45SPEAKER_03: It was someone that before I met Josh, probably like a year before something like that.
- 12:50SPEAKER_03: And I found out he was talking to another woman, and I just I was like, I like him so much.
- 12:55SPEAKER_03: Like, I thought we were going to date.
- 12:57SPEAKER_03: I really did.
- 12:57SPEAKER_03: I was hanging out with him every single day, and then I just like cried in my bed, and I'm like, no, I like this is the moment where I wake up and I'm like, I am not trying to fix this person, like this is not it.
- 13:08SPEAKER_03: So I cut it off even when I really, really liked him, and I was so proud of myself, and obviously it led me to my personal exactly, exactly.
- 13:15SPEAKER_01: And that that's such a beautiful reminder that every single no leads you to your yes.
- 13:20SPEAKER_01: Same thing happens in sales.
- 13:21SPEAKER_01: We all work, right?
- 13:22SPEAKER_01: We all have our businesses, and I think we're all at a point now where you get a no, you're like, okay, buy next.
- 13:26SPEAKER_01: Doesn't really impact you.
- 13:28SPEAKER_01: And I think if we take that same approach to dating, we would actually enjoy this process so much more.
- 13:34SPEAKER_01: I've been single four years, and my journey, obviously, the listeners have already heard this story, but my journey is so unique because I got married so young.
- 13:44SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 13:44SPEAKER_01: And I was with him for so long, and then I became single for the first time in my life at 27 years old.
- 13:48SPEAKER_02: Wow.
- 13:48SPEAKER_01: Where most people, they have been single for almost 10 years at this point, right?
- 13:51SPEAKER_01: Already experiencing.
- 13:52SPEAKER_01: So I had an interesting journey, but four years into it, I'm realizing every single no, whether it be a no from them or a no from me, is actually a good thing.
- 14:01SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 14:02SPEAKER_01: And the only way we know what we want is by knowing what we don't want.
- 14:05SPEAKER_02: Yep.
- 14:06SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 14:06SPEAKER_01: And so you have to go through these experiences of dating these people or being the loser.
- 14:11SPEAKER_01: Like, I can think back to times where I'm like, yeah, I was dating someone that I really liked.
- 14:14SPEAKER_01: We had been dating for about three months, and I was just coming out of my like party phase.
- 14:20SPEAKER_01: Because I parted later than everybody else.
- 14:22SPEAKER_01: Like it was after my divorce.
- 14:23SPEAKER_01: Like, so I was coming out of my little phase, and he was so great.
- 14:26SPEAKER_01: He treated me like wonderfully.
- 14:27SPEAKER_01: And he ended up ending things with me.
- 14:29SPEAKER_01: He's like, You're just not fully there yet.
- 14:31SPEAKER_01: Like, you still do these things on the weekend, you still do whatever.
- 14:34SPEAKER_01: And I to this day am so grateful for him.
- 14:38SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 14:38SPEAKER_01: Because that was a pivotal moment, me being like, wait a minute, this is also this lifestyle is also blocking me from something I really want, which is partnership.
- 14:44SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 14:45SPEAKER_01: So let's kind of switch gears here because you you had to figure out what you didn't want by being people that you didn't want to be.
- 14:53SPEAKER_01: Now I want to hear a little bit more about your individual health journeys because especially here, this is what we talk about.
- 14:59SPEAKER_01: I fully believe that ascending into your higher self is a process into becoming healthier and more healed.
- 15:05SPEAKER_01: That's why all I talk about is being healthier and more healed.
- 15:07SPEAKER_01: So Dylan, I know you had like a 30-pound weight loss journey.
- 15:11SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 15:11SPEAKER_01: Okay, tell us about what your health journey looked like that led you to be a healthy person to attract the partner that you want.
- 15:17SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I actually met Josh 30 pounds heavier.
- 15:20SPEAKER_03: So I had been in my fitness journey since I was about 16 years old from the Midwest.
- 15:26SPEAKER_03: Everyone drinks and eats pizza.
- 15:28SPEAKER_03: So I'm actually, you know, it's me and my sister that work out in my family.
- 15:32SPEAKER_03: Everyone else is overweight and struggles.
- 15:34SPEAKER_03: Um, alcoholics like that is just the Midwest lifestyle.
- 15:37SPEAKER_03: So I didn't come from a family that knew about health.
- 15:40SPEAKER_03: So I had to really learn that on my own.
- 15:41SPEAKER_03: I actually got my degree in kinesiology, exercise science.
- 15:45SPEAKER_03: So took that, and that's how I created Optimize my company.
- 15:49SPEAKER_03: And with my journey, I mean it was a struggle.
- 15:52SPEAKER_03: I bingey, I did all the diets, I did all the things, and I kept going up and down with my weight loss.
- 15:56SPEAKER_03: But I did find success.
- 15:58SPEAKER_03: Like I said, my business was growing when I did meet Josh, but I still was struggling with my health.
- 16:03SPEAKER_03: I was still drinking a lot on the weekends.
- 16:05SPEAKER_03: I was kind of in, kind of out with my health journey.
- 16:07SPEAKER_03: And when I met him, he actually helped me catapult to becoming the best version of myself.
- 16:12SPEAKER_03: Although I was already on the path, already doing the things, already making great money, like moving my business, still again prioritizing my health.
- 16:19SPEAKER_03: But for me, like Josh helped me so much become the best version of myself.
- 16:24SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I love that.
- 16:26SPEAKER_01: I taught her a lot.
- 16:26SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 16:27SPEAKER_01: And that's the beautiful thing.
- 16:28SPEAKER_01: He taught me a lot.
- 16:29SPEAKER_01: That's the beautiful thing, is you guys are you work so well together.
- 16:32SPEAKER_01: So, Josh, tell us about because you both are fitness coaches.
- 16:35SPEAKER_01: You don't already follow, go check them out because you're influencing so many people.
- 16:39SPEAKER_01: You're helping so many people become healthier.
- 16:40SPEAKER_01: I want to hear Josh about your story and like the men that you work with.
- 16:44SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
- 16:44SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
- 16:45SPEAKER_04: I was, I was really meant to do what I'm doing.
- 16:48SPEAKER_04: Like from day one, I was two years old, my mom's all organic food, vitamins, supplements, outside running around.
- 16:57SPEAKER_04: Like, I actually have a different story where a lot of coaches have hit rock bottom with health.
- 17:02SPEAKER_04: I've pretty much always been in really good shape.
- 17:04SPEAKER_04: I've had times with college where the drinking, the partying has led me down paths where I'll gain 20 pounds, something like that.
- 17:12SPEAKER_04: But like I've always been tapped in with health, with my body, with my energy, uh, with my masculinity, running around outside, exploring all of that.
- 17:22SPEAKER_04: And so, yeah, I I've, of course, it's been a journey of it continuing to amplify.
- 17:27SPEAKER_04: And uh after college and after I quit my corporate job, or actually, not even quit, quit the second corporate job, but got fired from the first one.
- 17:36SPEAKER_04: Um, and anyway, that's when I really took it to the next level and started figuring out hey, this is really what I meant to do.
- 17:44SPEAKER_04: Like, I've always been doing this.
- 17:46SPEAKER_04: I looked at my life, I'm like, what are you really good at?
- 17:48SPEAKER_04: Because I started to see these entrepreneurs that were monetizing their skills.
- 17:51SPEAKER_04: I'm like, bro, you live this shit.
- 17:53SPEAKER_04: Like, you know so much.
- 17:54SPEAKER_04: So then I met Dylan and she just affirmed that and it was like, no, you should do online coaching.
- 18:00SPEAKER_04: And I was doing some in-person stuff.
- 18:01SPEAKER_04: I actually still had my uh corporate job all fully remote that I was you know doing six hours a day.
- 18:07SPEAKER_04: But yeah, anyway, it really, really made it clear when I met Dylan in 2021 that this is the route I was going.
- 18:14SPEAKER_04: And so then I just continued to build skills and I've always connected with people so well.
- 18:19SPEAKER_04: I'm a natural leader on sports teams and all that.
- 18:22SPEAKER_04: And so guys are were attracted to work with me because A, I know my shit.
- 18:27SPEAKER_04: I'm in phenomenal shape.
- 18:28SPEAKER_04: I actually live, breathe, and do this shit, which a lot of people don't.
- 18:31SPEAKER_02: Right.
- 18:31SPEAKER_04: And B, I can connect with people really well everywhere I go.
- 18:35SPEAKER_04: I learned from my grandpa, Italian.
- 18:37SPEAKER_04: He's talking to everybody in the store.
- 18:39SPEAKER_04: He treats everybody the same.
- 18:41SPEAKER_04: He's got friends that are celebrities, ball players, but then he's also talking to the homeless people the exact same way.
- 18:46SPEAKER_04: So I learned that at a very young age, just to just to like connect with people.
- 18:51SPEAKER_04: And I'll talk to a wall for hours, I'll talk to uh, you know, a hyper successful individual, celebrity, whatever, and like treat him exactly the same.
- 19:00SPEAKER_04: Like I'm I'm not I'm not nervous to talk to anybody.
- 19:03SPEAKER_04: But anyway, I I really circled back around to this um when I met Dylan and took everything to the next level and and also put her on to a lot of the stuff that I was taught from my mom, from my dad, and and just at a young age.
- 19:20SPEAKER_01: So it's so beautiful because she already was an online fitness coach, yet she was internally struggling with her health.
- 19:26SPEAKER_01: And then you were not yet an online fitness coach, and you had you had already been an expert in this space, and so it's like another example of how you guys just work so well together.
- 19:36SPEAKER_01: So are you did you coach Dylan into losing the 30 pounds, or how did that work?
- 19:41SPEAKER_01: A little bit.
- 19:42SPEAKER_01: Yeah, we we held each other.
- 19:44SPEAKER_02: Right, right.
- 19:45SPEAKER_04: So I I I taught Dylan a lot about nutrition, or she knew a lot about it, she knew all the basics on nutrition.
- 19:51SPEAKER_04: We I I showed her how to cook clean food really good.
- 19:54SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
- 19:55SPEAKER_04: Which was something, and we started just holding each other accountable and you know, dialing in on everything.
- 20:01SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
- 20:01SPEAKER_04: When she got back from a cross-country road trip, we looked at each other over because I had also gained a little bit of weight.
- 20:06SPEAKER_04: I was let a bulk go too far.
- 20:08SPEAKER_04: I felt still.
- 20:09SPEAKER_02: Yeah, you're ice viewers.
- 20:11SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 20:12SPEAKER_02: Relationship leads.
- 20:13SPEAKER_04: Huge jump about three years ago from like stop doing the dirty bulking and then cutting.
- 20:18SPEAKER_04: So anyway, I was in a dirty bulk and I gained some weight.
- 20:20SPEAKER_04: We were both like, let's get in great shape for a trip.
- 20:24SPEAKER_04: But we just more held each other accountable and I really pushed her hard.
- 20:28SPEAKER_04: Um, and she pushed me hard too in other years.
- 20:30SPEAKER_04: We held each other accountable.
- 20:31SPEAKER_01: How important was it for each of you to be with a physically fit person?
- 20:36SPEAKER_03: Very important.
- 20:37SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 20:38SPEAKER_03: Absolutely.
- 20:38SPEAKER_03: Like, even with my health like not being perfect because I was drinking a lot, like I knew that I had more in me and I knew what I needed to do.
- 20:45SPEAKER_03: It just helped that he was so tapped in.
- 20:48SPEAKER_03: And I'd yeah, I would not date someone that's overweight.
- 20:51SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
- 20:51SPEAKER_04: You know, he wouldn't either.
- 20:52SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 20:53SPEAKER_04: You know, I wouldn't, but when I met Dylan, she hit the package, she she hit the check marks on all these other boxes, and it wasn't even that physical.
- 21:05SPEAKER_04: This is now you asked me that question, and yeah, I mean, if she were to you know gain weight, we I we would we would pull it back in.
- 21:12SPEAKER_04: But if it kept being a problem, it would be a problem.
- 21:15SPEAKER_04: But at the time when I when I met her, she was overweight for sure.
- 21:20SPEAKER_04: She she was inflamed, and her personality, her energy, her vibe, just how she was doing in business and her personality.
- 21:28SPEAKER_03: I knew I cared about my health.
- 21:30SPEAKER_03: It wasn't like a I don't care.
- 21:31SPEAKER_04: I'm that's what really dropped me in.
- 21:33SPEAKER_04: I knew she she was like, by the way, you're not seeing me at my best right now.
- 21:37SPEAKER_04: And so I knew that with especially me coming in there and leading and and letting her, you know, really you know, tap into her energy again uh with fitness, that it she would get in good shape and I would push her, you know.
- 21:50SPEAKER_01: I love that biohackers who attend.
- 21:54SPEAKER_01: I love this so much because you know, it is so important for us to be healthy.
- 22:00SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 22:00SPEAKER_01: Um, and I do believe that when someone is calling in a certain type of partner, it's so important to ask yourself, well, am I doing these things?
- 22:08SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 22:08SPEAKER_01: Like I want a super fit person, but am I living a physically healthy life?
- 22:12SPEAKER_01: I want a super wealthy person, but am I managing my own finances?
- 22:16SPEAKER_01: Or to your point, can I?
- 22:19SPEAKER_01: Am I willing to?
- 22:20SPEAKER_01: Like these are the important questions to have.
- 22:21SPEAKER_01: And so I love that you were able to work with one another.
- 22:24SPEAKER_01: Josh, we talked about this yesterday, and I've been waiting and dying to ask this question because it's so freaking important for the men to hear.
- 22:32SPEAKER_01: Men, if you are listening, women, go give this to a man that send this to a man that you know because this is the most important thing.
- 22:38SPEAKER_04: Send them my page.
- 22:39SPEAKER_01: Send them to Josh's page.
- 22:40SPEAKER_01: And they need to understand this because I want to know from you, Josh, two things.
- 22:48SPEAKER_01: The first is you mentioned that Dylan helped you in your business, right?
- 22:54SPEAKER_01: She was already a coach.
- 22:56SPEAKER_01: You were getting into this space and the online space.
- 23:00SPEAKER_01: Please help all of us understand what it was in you that allowed you to see, oh, wait a minute.
- 23:07SPEAKER_01: Getting myself into a relationship isn't gonna hold me back.
- 23:09SPEAKER_01: In fact, she's fucking pushing me forward in life.
- 23:12SPEAKER_01: And what do you have to say to the men who are blocking themselves from love because I have this conversation daily?
- 23:19SPEAKER_01: I can't date until I have X, Y, and Z thing, until I have the house, until I have X amount of my bank account, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
- 23:25SPEAKER_01: And then later telling me, oh my gosh, I think I missed out on the girl in my dreams.
- 23:29SPEAKER_01: Tell us what you need to, what do they need to hear?
- 23:31SPEAKER_04: When the right one comes around, you better snatch her up.
- 23:35SPEAKER_04: And you better, I don't care what you're saying to yourself about I'm not ready, I'm not this.
- 23:40SPEAKER_04: That's all just limiting beliefs you're putting on to your life.
- 23:43SPEAKER_04: When the right one comes into your life and you need to be open to the right one, you need to be calling her in.
- 23:48SPEAKER_04: I at the time was starting to realize I think a really solid woman would actually really help me focus in and amplify and really allow me to focus on my passion, my purpose, and yeah, have me amplify as a man.
- 24:02SPEAKER_04: So I had started to realize that uh because I was like, this what I'm currently doing is not bringing me any success.
- 24:09SPEAKER_04: Um, but but yeah, I mean, there's especially one of these high-level powerful women, when you meet one, it's okay if you're a little intimidated, or not even intimidated is the right word, but if she makes you feel a little small, I think that's good.
- 24:24SPEAKER_04: Dylan met me and she made me feel a little small.
- 24:27SPEAKER_04: She was making more money than me.
- 24:29SPEAKER_04: She was on paper, more successful, but that actually attracted me to her because I I want a woman with some motion, with you know, that's that's really momentum in this life, it's doing something.
- 24:40SPEAKER_04: So anyway, when the right one comes around, you got to drop your guard a little bit and and just get to know her a little bit and see see where it goes.
- 24:48SPEAKER_04: Because they're far and few, but the right one will take you to places you can't go on your own because it allows you to focus.
- 24:56SPEAKER_04: Uh, it allows you to really see clearly on your vision, on your mission.
- 25:01SPEAKER_04: And two is much more powerful than one.
- 25:03SPEAKER_04: Like dual income, uh, both making moves, making shit happen, is incredibly powerful for setting up your life faster than you just doing it on your own.
- 25:14SPEAKER_01: I love that so much.
- 25:16SPEAKER_01: And thank you for sharing that because it is something that a lot of men need to hear.
- 25:19SPEAKER_01: This isn't just my personal experience where I've been with incredible guys, and then they stop themselves because they feel like they can't live up to me.
- 25:25SPEAKER_01: And I couldn't, that couldn't be furthest from the truth.
- 25:29SPEAKER_01: Josh said something.
- 25:30SPEAKER_01: So yesterday, a few of us went on a little experience, a chakra uh experience.
- 25:36SPEAKER_01: And Josh said something that I don't even know if anyone caught, but like I caught it and I was like, wow.
- 25:43SPEAKER_01: He it was Josh and four of us girls.
- 25:46SPEAKER_01: Yeah, four of us girls.
- 25:47SPEAKER_01: And he said, Yeah, when we were all laying down, I like looked up and realized, whoa, I have very powerful women around me.
- 25:53SPEAKER_01: I have to be able to hold the space.
- 25:56SPEAKER_01: And I like he said it, and then we just continued the conversation.
- 25:59SPEAKER_01: And I was like, that is so beautiful.
- 26:01SPEAKER_01: Like, I don't even think he realizes what he just said.
- 26:04SPEAKER_01: Yeah, like these women are so powerful, I need to be able to hold my space.
- 26:08SPEAKER_01: Not these women are so powerful, I need to make myself more powerful than them, or I need to make myself smaller than them.
- 26:12SPEAKER_01: It's no, no, I need to be able to hold space.
- 26:15SPEAKER_01: So I want to hear from Josh you first, and then Dylan, I want to ask you something that's super important.
- 26:20SPEAKER_01: But what do you do, knowing that you're in a relationship, Josh, with such a powerhouse?
- 26:26SPEAKER_01: What do you do to just hold space for her so that she can?
- 26:29SPEAKER_01: Because if you guys know them in real life, this girl talks like a little baby when she's with Josh.
- 26:33SPEAKER_01: I ask her, what are we doing?
- 26:34SPEAKER_01: What time is this?
- 26:35SPEAKER_01: I don't know.
- 26:35SPEAKER_01: Ask Josh, ask Josh, like she has no clue.
- 26:38SPEAKER_01: Turn my brain off.
- 26:39SPEAKER_01: So business and then exactly.
- 26:41SPEAKER_04: So, Josh, what is it?
- 26:42SPEAKER_04: This is why I do what I do and I show guys it's not all about making money.
- 26:47SPEAKER_04: Making money doesn't make you a man.
- 26:50SPEAKER_04: Your habits, your energy, your physique, your confidence, the way you speak, the way you treat people, your aura, that's what makes you a man.
- 27:01SPEAKER_04: That's what allows the woman to lead, or not lead.
- 27:04SPEAKER_04: That's what allows the woman to let you lead and and just kind of melt in the baby voice.
- 27:10SPEAKER_04: So that's why I teach what I teach, because you got to get your dial, your habits dialed in, you got to get your energy, all of these little things, and you just become the man that that people naturally follow, both women and both men.
- 27:24SPEAKER_04: So that's what I do, and it's just it's natural, it's authentic.
- 27:28SPEAKER_04: So it just allows her to be her and take off her little business cap because she's got that CEO cap on a lot, but I really, really push her naturally without saying a thing, but to take it off.
- 27:40SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I love it.
- 27:41SPEAKER_01: And I've witnessed it.
- 27:42SPEAKER_01: I've witnessed it, and I think it's beautiful.
- 27:43SPEAKER_01: And Dylan, for you, the question that I personally want to learn from, because again, I'm a teacher just as much as I am a student, and you guys are in a place in your relationship that I am on the pathway of um reaching.
- 27:56SPEAKER_01: And for you, I want to know because you are such a powerhouse and you don't have to dim yourself.
- 28:01SPEAKER_01: I think it's absolute bullshit that women are making themselves smaller.
- 28:05SPEAKER_01: Don't make yourself smaller.
- 28:06SPEAKER_01: Actually, we are here to be bright and powerful.
- 28:09SPEAKER_01: And um, if that means acquiring a lot of wealth, then so be it.
- 28:13SPEAKER_01: Men should not be intimidated.
- 28:15SPEAKER_01: I want to know though, how you switch off when you are with Josh because I've seen it every single time, no matter where we are.
- 28:24SPEAKER_01: And so, what is it that you had to do to know okay, business mode off?
- 28:28SPEAKER_01: Let me let him lead, because that is gonna allow the relationship to be what you want.
- 28:33SPEAKER_03: Yeah, yeah.
- 28:33SPEAKER_03: I think it comes in the little things.
- 28:35SPEAKER_03: I know we talked about this yesterday, but even opening up the water bottle as a good example, instead of me trying to like get it going or the, I don't know, the can, whatever it is, like here, babe, can you help me out?
- 28:46SPEAKER_03: And it's in the tiny things.
- 28:47SPEAKER_03: And I do believe that when a man holds a safe place for a woman, it's very easy to just go into baby mode or relax mode.
- 28:55SPEAKER_03: Josh plans all the trips when we go out to dinner.
- 28:58SPEAKER_03: I don't want to have to make a decision because I've made 20 million in CEO decisions that day.
- 29:02SPEAKER_03: I've talked to several people, he has too, but men are able to lead a woman.
- 29:07SPEAKER_03: It's so much easier than a woman making the decision.
- 29:09SPEAKER_03: And I do tell women all the time it's important to make decisions for yourself.
- 29:13SPEAKER_03: But when you are powerful, you're in sales, you're in business.
- 29:16SPEAKER_03: As a woman, it's so nice to let myself turn my brain off and let him make a decision.
- 29:21SPEAKER_01: Was it hard for you ever?
- 29:22SPEAKER_03: Oh, yeah.
- 29:23SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 29:23SPEAKER_03: Oh yeah.
- 29:24SPEAKER_03: I couldn't even the first like month into our relationship, it was hard for me to even say the word boyfriend because I was so independent.
- 29:30SPEAKER_03: I was so grasping this, like, need to be independent.
- 29:32SPEAKER_03: But that's a good point that Josh brings up too.
- 29:34SPEAKER_03: Like when you meet the right partner, I felt because of my past experiences, oh, I gotta like not be me as much.
- 29:39SPEAKER_03: Like you said, play small, like not really step into myself.
- 29:43SPEAKER_03: But Josh has allowed me to keep my independence while also allowing me to be soft.
- 29:46SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 29:47SPEAKER_01: And Josh said something yesterday that I just thought of that I think is important to share here.
- 29:51SPEAKER_01: You said Dylan's actually super goofy.
- 29:53SPEAKER_01: And early on in your relationship, yeah, you did something goofy that I think gave her the invitation to, oh, I can be goofy too.
- 30:00SPEAKER_01: And so automatically the guard's down.
- 30:01SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 30:01SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
- 30:02SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
- 30:02SPEAKER_04: Right.
- 30:02SPEAKER_04: Tell us more about that.
- 30:04SPEAKER_04: And I just recommend everybody do this.
- 30:05SPEAKER_04: We met at a coffee shop.
- 30:06SPEAKER_01: Yep.
- 30:07SPEAKER_04: We didn't go out to drink, we weren't focused on all these little small talk conversations.
- 30:12SPEAKER_04: We got right to it.
- 30:14SPEAKER_04: Yeah, right to it.
- 30:15SPEAKER_04: We started asking each other deep questions.
- 30:17SPEAKER_04: We had both, you know, been on our self-development journeys, and we were both in a spot where we didn't want to just fuck around, you know?
- 30:23SPEAKER_04: And so we got very direct and clear in a communication aspect of what we're looking for, who we are, where we want to go.
- 30:31SPEAKER_04: You know, Dylan, literally within our second date, I told her what I did for work.
- 30:34SPEAKER_04: And she looked at me and said, Do you really want to do that?
- 30:37SPEAKER_04: Because she could hear in my voice that I didn't really want to do it.
- 30:41SPEAKER_04: And so we just had over-communication from day one.
- 30:45SPEAKER_04: Nothing was off limits.
- 30:47SPEAKER_04: I let her be her goofy self.
- 30:49SPEAKER_04: I think it came out on like a, it must have been two or three weeks into us hanging out.
- 30:56SPEAKER_04: She started using this little voice.
- 30:57SPEAKER_04: And I think I just told her, I was like, yeah, I like that.
- 30:59SPEAKER_04: Like that's a cute little voice you got there.
- 31:01SPEAKER_04: And so I just allowed her to use it.
- 31:04SPEAKER_04: And um, yeah, I think it's great to be goofy.
- 31:07SPEAKER_04: Nothing's that serious.
- 31:08SPEAKER_04: Yeah, so many guys have this guard up that they're so serious.
- 31:13SPEAKER_04: You gotta be, they gotta they're trying to be masculine and they're trying to be a certain way when you just gotta be a kid, you gotta have fun.
- 31:21SPEAKER_04: Like this this life is is just meant to have fun and work hard, of course.
- 31:26SPEAKER_04: Conquer, get shit done, but we gotta have fun.
- 31:29SPEAKER_04: And we love having fun.
- 31:30SPEAKER_04: Like we're super goofy all the time.
- 31:33SPEAKER_04: I many of the much of the time, but like you know, we're not.
- 31:37SPEAKER_01: No, you are you guys like, and and this is why I wanted to have this conversation with you because there are few people that I reference when I'm um talking to people about the type of relationship I want.
- 31:47SPEAKER_01: And you two are one of those couples.
- 31:49SPEAKER_01: And there's very few.
- 31:50SPEAKER_01: Yeah, there's very few.
- 31:51SPEAKER_01: But it's because it's because to a couple of things.
- 31:55SPEAKER_01: For one, you allow each other to be yourself.
- 31:59SPEAKER_01: Goofy, kids, wandering, vacations, concerts, business, blocking, all of it.
- 32:04SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 32:05SPEAKER_01: And also you hold each other accountable.
- 32:07SPEAKER_01: Like Josh, you said something earlier that I want to actually circle back to because I too desire a relationship where I hope my man's calling me out if I'm slipping.
- 32:15SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 32:16SPEAKER_01: And some people might hear that and they might not like that.
- 32:18SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 32:18SPEAKER_01: Right?
- 32:19SPEAKER_01: Oh, she's gaining a little bit of weight.
- 32:20SPEAKER_01: I'm so then that might not be the relationship for you, but this is about ascending into your higher self.
- 32:24SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 32:24SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 32:24SPEAKER_01: And your higher self is the healthiest, most healed version of you.
- 32:28SPEAKER_01: And so you guys have this dynamic where you're able to do it.
- 32:32SPEAKER_01: And I'm sure you maybe have your own obstacles and how you communicate because communication is everyone's thing, but it's always rooted in love, which is why you're now at the point that you're at now.
- 32:41SPEAKER_01: Tell us a little bit.
- 32:42SPEAKER_01: I'm curious, like, how do you communicate the more challenging things?
- 32:49SPEAKER_04: Oh, we just say it.
- 32:51SPEAKER_04: Yeah, I think it's a good thing.
- 32:52SPEAKER_04: You know, there's been times when sure we might have hurt each other's feelings a little bit, but that in itself is a mirror.
- 32:58SPEAKER_04: If we're a little bit hurt by it, that means that it's probably true.
- 33:02SPEAKER_04: And we say it in a way that's always from love and always from us as a unit trying to get better and holding a high expectation for each other.
- 33:12SPEAKER_04: So and we've done that since day one.
- 33:14SPEAKER_04: And that was part of the over-communication and us being focused on growth.
- 33:18SPEAKER_04: We've aligned our lives, our mission, our purpose, our energy, what we do on a day-to-day basis to be in total congruency because we want to go somewhere together that neither of us could go separate, right?
- 33:32SPEAKER_04: And so everything is aligned on that.
- 33:35SPEAKER_04: And we just say it like we just say it.
- 33:37SPEAKER_04: We're both coaches, right?
- 33:38SPEAKER_04: So we got thick skin.
- 33:40SPEAKER_04: Uh, and that doesn't mean that's true.
- 33:42SPEAKER_01: Do you think that coaches need to be with other coaches?
- 33:44SPEAKER_04: I can't imagine not being with a coach.
- 33:45SPEAKER_01: I do love it.
- 33:46SPEAKER_04: Yeah, I can't imagine not being with a coach or an entrepreneur.
- 33:49SPEAKER_04: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 33:50SPEAKER_04: Okay, someone that has tough skin, yeah, that's not super high maintenance, yeah, and that is self-sufficient, uh, a powerhouse, in great shape, you know, can talk back to me, talk a little shit.
- 34:04SPEAKER_04: And yeah, I mean, like, I guess the list goes on.
- 34:06SPEAKER_04: But Dylan, you know, she fulfills all that.
- 34:08SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 34:09SPEAKER_01: So communication is so big.
- 34:10SPEAKER_01: Now I'm also wanting to a question that just popped in my mind that maybe some people want to hear is is there, do you feel, either of you, um, do you feel like there's ever some form of competition because you are such powerhouses in business?
- 34:24SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
- 34:25SPEAKER_04: I'll I'll answer this.
- 34:26SPEAKER_01: You should speak on that.
- 34:27SPEAKER_02: Yeah, let me know.
- 34:28SPEAKER_04: Well, Dylan's made more money than me from day one.
- 34:31SPEAKER_04: She was doing 20K a month when I had just started my business.
- 34:34SPEAKER_04: She helped me start my business.
- 34:36SPEAKER_04: And I've gotten my business to$30,000,$40,000 months now, but she's, you know, gotten it much higher.
- 34:43SPEAKER_04: And I had to drop my ego from day one of making it a competition about who makes more money.
- 34:50SPEAKER_04: Because I don't think a lot of guys could be able to be in this type of relationship with a woman who's making more money than you, right?
- 34:59SPEAKER_04: And for a lot of guys, that's like their whole worth.
- 35:01SPEAKER_04: But again, I have so much more value that I bring to the relationship that makes me realize and know that I mean, it's not even all about the money.
- 35:10SPEAKER_04: I'm actually enabling her to make this amount of money.
- 35:13SPEAKER_04: But it's it's about a team, right?
- 35:15SPEAKER_04: We're a team.
- 35:17SPEAKER_04: Um I love that.
- 35:18SPEAKER_01: Yeah, Dylan.
- 35:20SPEAKER_04: We're taking this thing.
- 35:21SPEAKER_04: Yeah, show us the ring together.
- 35:22SPEAKER_01: So show us the ring.
- 35:24SPEAKER_04: So it's it's house, it's household money, right?
- 35:26SPEAKER_03: Yeah and you bring, I mean, money aside, like it's not like he's just sitting on the couch right.
- 35:33SPEAKER_04: No, I mean I still I still pay for for probably 80% of things.
- 35:38SPEAKER_04: But I like it when Dylan sometimes pays for things.
- 35:39SPEAKER_04: I mean, like, but I I mainly take take charge on all of that.
- 35:43SPEAKER_04: Um, but intimidated though.
- 35:46SPEAKER_01: Yeah, so what is your perspective then?
- 35:48SPEAKER_03: I mean, most men do get intimidated.
- 35:49SPEAKER_03: Like it's like when you walk into a room and you just have that like bad bitch, but like again, you talk to me, I'm like, hey, yeah, no, literally.
- 35:57SPEAKER_03: But when you have that aura, it does become a bit of a pushback.
- 36:00SPEAKER_03: And I remember when I was dating in my four years of being single, like, people would almost not believe the money that I'm making.
- 36:06SPEAKER_03: I'm like, oh, if they could see me now, like shit.
- 36:08SPEAKER_02: Yeah, yeah.
- 36:09SPEAKER_03: But men can't hold that.
- 36:10SPEAKER_03: They're like, no, no, you don't.
- 36:12SPEAKER_03: I'm like, what?
- 36:13SPEAKER_04: Yeah, and it's pissed me off at times.
- 36:14SPEAKER_04: And remember that I was like, oh come on, like I gotta try to make more.
- 36:18SPEAKER_04: I've had to had reiterations of just reminding myself to let that that little ego, that little voice die.
- 36:26SPEAKER_04: It's just ego.
- 36:27SPEAKER_04: It's it's just a projection of some insecurity inside of you.
- 36:31SPEAKER_04: And at the end of the day, I don't let it bother me because I know the value I bring to the table.
- 36:36SPEAKER_04: Yes.
- 36:37SPEAKER_04: Right?
- 36:37SPEAKER_04: It's it's pretty apparent.
- 36:38SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and I love that.
- 36:39SPEAKER_01: And I and you made a good point too.
- 36:41SPEAKER_01: It'd be a completely different conversation if, because I have some clients that just popped into my head, who their man's just fucking sitting at home doing absolutely nothing.
- 36:48SPEAKER_01: He's not gonna help you ascend into your higher self.
- 36:50SPEAKER_01: He's not gonna help you become healthier, he's not gonna help you become more healed.
- 36:53SPEAKER_01: He is literally just there sucking your energy.
- 36:57SPEAKER_01: And some of you need that like real, that real truth.
- 37:00SPEAKER_01: Some of you are in relationships with people, men or women, who are literally sucking your energy.
- 37:06SPEAKER_01: That's not what we're talking about here.
- 37:07SPEAKER_01: You're both incredibly powerful.
- 37:09SPEAKER_01: And the security that it takes for Josh to be able to know, I bring way more to the table than the dollars.
- 37:16SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 37:17SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 37:18SPEAKER_01: And for you also, the humility, uh, Dylan, and knowing like I can be this person who is incredibly successful and still know that like I need him for all of these other things, right?
- 37:31SPEAKER_01: Yesterday we were talking about this epidemic that we're going through with women saying I don't need men, and then we all were like, We need men.
- 37:38SPEAKER_01: We love men.
- 37:39SPEAKER_01: We love men, we need you too, please.
- 37:41SPEAKER_01: So I want to um I wanna kind of finish off with a couple of things.
- 37:45SPEAKER_01: The first is what advice do you have to people who have been on the journey of becoming healthier?
- 37:56SPEAKER_01: They've identified some of their wounds that and their traumas that probably were attracting them to the losers and the duds of the past.
- 38:04SPEAKER_01: They've healed through that.
- 38:06SPEAKER_01: And they're in this in-between phase of I'm ready for partnership.
- 38:09SPEAKER_01: Josh made a very good point of you need to know what you want.
- 38:12SPEAKER_01: If you do not know what you want, you're going to continue to attract things that you may not be satisfied with.
- 38:18SPEAKER_01: So date, explore, ask yourself hard questions, understand what it is.
- 38:24SPEAKER_01: So, for these people who are calling in a powerhouse type of relationship, what is each of the advice that you have for them?
- 38:35SPEAKER_04: You better be ready, bro.
- 38:37SPEAKER_04: You you better drop your ego, you better make a 2.0 version of yourself, and you better become the man that's capable of handling a woman like this and letting her be feminine and you know, just having her be herself without even thinking about it.
- 38:55SPEAKER_04: You know, you you can't be insecure, you can't get all caught up on the little things you have to keep zooming out, and you need to become the individual.
- 39:03SPEAKER_04: That's why you need to focus on your habits, your body, your mind, your spirit, your energy, all of the little small details, the things you know that are holding you back from your full potential, vices, you gotta let go of, and you gotta go all in on your highest version.
- 39:17SPEAKER_04: And I promise you, you'll be able to handle her and it will it'll be the best thing that you ever decided to do.
- 39:24SPEAKER_01: Thank you.
- 39:25SPEAKER_03: I think from an emotional standpoint, if you're a woman that feels like she's completely healed, this first part will not resonate with you.
- 39:31SPEAKER_03: But there's some women that are like, I'm so healed, and there's one block that could be holding you back.
- 39:36SPEAKER_03: Maybe you are still the drinker, the partier, maybe you're still very insecure in the way you look, there's something blocking you, go all in on that block.
- 39:42SPEAKER_03: You're gonna be fully there and you'll allow that person in.
- 39:45SPEAKER_03: As for someone that feels like they're genuinely fully healed, I would say logically, you need to get out more.
- 39:50SPEAKER_03: You can't just manifest in your bedroom and hope that your man shows up at your place.
- 39:54SPEAKER_03: You need to go to networking events with high-level people, you need to communicate with people like us because we we have friends.
- 40:02SPEAKER_03: We have people in our life and we know people.
- 40:04SPEAKER_03: So the more people that you talk to and say yes to and experience life with, I just think you gotta keep showing up every single day, and that person will come in.
- 40:14SPEAKER_01: I think yeah, I think that's beautiful too.
- 40:16SPEAKER_01: And you know, I always say the path of healing is a forever journey.
- 40:20SPEAKER_01: Like there's always things that we're going to be unfolding.
- 40:23SPEAKER_01: Um, but you're so right.
- 40:25SPEAKER_01: I there's so many women who are just sitting at home.
- 40:27SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 40:28SPEAKER_01: Because to be honest, like our tolerance levels are low.
- 40:31SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 40:32SPEAKER_01: And so that's we're sitting at home and then we're like, why am I still single?
- 40:34SPEAKER_01: And I'm like, well, because I'm like sitting at home to date more.
- 40:36SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 40:37SPEAKER_01: And so dropping the ego and actually allowing yourself to be vulnerable enough to be seen, yeah, is what I'm hearing.
- 40:44SPEAKER_04: And focus on the positive.
- 40:45SPEAKER_04: Do not tell yourself a story that I can't find someone, no one's at my level.
- 40:52SPEAKER_04: You need to get delusionally positive and happy every day of, oh yeah, I know my person is around the corner.
- 40:59SPEAKER_04: You know, I'm speaking as, you know, if I'm going to go chase and find a woman, I'm gonna, I'm gonna go pursue.
- 41:04SPEAKER_04: I've always had the mindset in life, you have to go physically take what you want.
- 41:08SPEAKER_04: It started with door-to-door sales.
- 41:10SPEAKER_04: I had to go take those, those meetings.
- 41:12SPEAKER_04: And so the same thing with women, you have to go pursue to some degree.
- 41:17SPEAKER_04: You're not just gonna, sometimes it just falls into your lap because you're attracting it.
- 41:21SPEAKER_04: But I also believe on going out there and taking extreme action, making it happen, and telling yourself the story that it's just right around the corner.
- 41:30SPEAKER_04: Like, let's go.
- 41:30SPEAKER_04: I I know it's coming.
- 41:32SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 41:33SPEAKER_01: It's so beautiful.
- 41:34SPEAKER_01: And I'm so happy and thank you for sharing with me uh your stories because again, this is the path that I'm currently on, right?
- 41:41SPEAKER_01: I'm ascending into the type of woman who calls in a very specific partnership.
- 41:46SPEAKER_01: Yeah, you know, it's it and by the way, powerhouse dynamics isn't for everybody, and that's okay.
- 41:51SPEAKER_01: This isn't a right or wrong type of thing.
- 41:53SPEAKER_01: But for women like me and Dylan, the only type of man that we can be with is someone like Josh.
- 41:57SPEAKER_01: It's the only way it'll work.
- 41:59SPEAKER_01: And so, and most of my girlfriends have been quite the testosterone up.
- 42:04SPEAKER_04: Yeah, right, become the individual that can hand all these, handle all these high-caliber women.
- 42:09SPEAKER_04: There is more high-caliber women like yourself out there than ever.
- 42:13SPEAKER_04: But there's also more men with low T twiddling their thumbs in their head than ever.
- 42:19SPEAKER_04: And that's why I'm here.
- 42:21SPEAKER_04: But you're the one that's got to save yourself at the end of the day.
- 42:24SPEAKER_04: Yeah, and only you can make it happen.
- 42:26SPEAKER_01: Yeah, so so two things that I want to hear before we before we let you go.
- 42:30SPEAKER_01: The first is what are your future plans?
- 42:32SPEAKER_01: Let's say next, I don't know, 12 months.
- 42:35SPEAKER_01: Like we should.
- 42:36SPEAKER_03: We always lie because we're like, we totally plan our wedding.
- 42:39SPEAKER_04: But we're so funny.
- 42:40SPEAKER_04: We're like, you're like, Where are you where are you guys getting married?
- 42:42SPEAKER_04: We're like, uh we're we're in the moment, but we're also thinking ahead.
- 42:49SPEAKER_04: And the next four to six months, we are both taking our businesses to the next level, a level that neither of us has been have been to, but we're ascending and we know exactly what to do, how to get there, the work we need to put in.
- 43:01SPEAKER_04: So we're gonna go into a kind of go dark season.
- 43:05SPEAKER_04: And then after that, who knows?
- 43:06SPEAKER_04: We'll probably come back to Bali.
- 43:08SPEAKER_04: We love it here, at least for the summer, three months out of the year.
- 43:11SPEAKER_04: But we want to keep traveling and we're not looking at having kids anytime soon.
- 43:16SPEAKER_04: We're both 31.
- 43:17SPEAKER_04: We want to keep enjoying our lives, helping people, and going all over the world.
- 43:21SPEAKER_04: So we want to keep traveling uh and and changing lives and just hanging out with each other.
- 43:27SPEAKER_04: I love it.
- 43:27SPEAKER_04: But we don't know exactly where we're going, Kenya.
- 43:31SPEAKER_01: I know.
- 43:31SPEAKER_01: I'm like, so what's the money?
- 43:33SPEAKER_01: No, I love that.
- 43:34SPEAKER_01: And you know what?
- 43:35SPEAKER_01: You already live, I say as someone who's been married, like there is a difference between having the signature of I am married to living as a married, a married couple.
- 43:45SPEAKER_01: You guys are already living.
- 43:46SPEAKER_01: We bought a house before we even travel together, you do you live your life so um so much in sync.
- 43:53SPEAKER_01: So I love that.
- 43:54SPEAKER_01: Okay, we'll all be looking at for the love story.
- 43:56SPEAKER_01: Yes.
- 43:56SPEAKER_01: And then the second question I have is obviously you both are so phenomenal at what you do.
- 44:00SPEAKER_01: Josh, I am so grateful that you're here.
- 44:01SPEAKER_01: Obviously, Dylan, I love you so much.
- 44:03SPEAKER_01: And Josh, I'm just so happy that you're here because more men need to be helped.
- 44:08SPEAKER_01: And I we are not here to have this fight of man versus woman.
- 44:12SPEAKER_01: We want to help the men and we want to help the women.
- 44:14SPEAKER_01: So my second question to each of you is where can people find you?
- 44:17SPEAKER_01: How can they work with you?
- 44:18SPEAKER_01: And maybe even a little bit of what you can do to help them.
- 44:22SPEAKER_04: Yeah, so underscore Josh Friedman on Instagram.
- 44:25SPEAKER_04: And I'm a men's fitness coach that dials in your nutrition, your habits, your testosterone.
- 44:30SPEAKER_04: I believe you must first put in the work, get in good shape, and that's the level of extension like you were talking about.
- 44:37SPEAKER_04: Then everything else, the floodgates open, right?
- 44:40SPEAKER_04: So I really help men tap into their full potential through the body, the mind.
- 44:44SPEAKER_04: And you can find me on Instagram.
- 44:45SPEAKER_04: I have a couple different ways you can work with me.
- 44:47SPEAKER_04: You know, just shoot me a DM, let me know what you're currently going through, where you want to go, and I'll give you some awesome free resources, and we can talk about, you know, if it's a good fit.
- 44:55SPEAKER_04: I don't necessarily work with everybody, right?
- 44:57SPEAKER_04: So you've got to really be ready to become the man you're really always meant to be.
- 45:02SPEAKER_04: I love that.
- 45:03SPEAKER_04: And I'm very passionate about it.
- 45:04SPEAKER_04: Men need it more than ever.
- 45:06SPEAKER_04: Yeah, there's so many odds against us right now.
- 45:10SPEAKER_04: Yeah, the world is trying to bring men down, make men weak, and you cannot fall into it.
- 45:15SPEAKER_04: Yeah, so it's true.
- 45:16SPEAKER_04: There's no such thing as toxic masculinity.
- 45:19SPEAKER_04: We we need to be our full true selves, and I'm here to help spearhead the movement.
- 45:25SPEAKER_04: I love it.
- 45:25SPEAKER_01: Yes, and tell them what about you?
- 45:27SPEAKER_03: Love it.
- 45:27SPEAKER_03: My username on Instagram is Dylan JFit.
- 45:30SPEAKER_03: My company is called Optimize, and we really help the high-level women close the gap.
- 45:36SPEAKER_03: So if you're in sales, you're an entrepreneur, you're someone in corporate, whatever it may be, and you feel like you have all these things in your life that are in alignment, but you're missing something in your physique, in your mental, in your spiritual, in your soul, we close that gap for you.
- 45:48SPEAKER_03: So we dive into holistic health.
- 45:50SPEAKER_03: I have hormone specialists, GI, gut health mapping, all of it.

- 45:58SPEAKER_03: I give you some free resources, or if you have questions, just send me a message.

- 46:11SPEAKER_01: And make sure you follow, subscribe, hit whatever button you need to hit to stay a part of the conversation.
- 46:16SPEAKER_01: I'll see you next time.
