• 0:14

• 0:27
Speaker 1: game this weekend. Muffin Tulane versus All miss we got

Speaker 2: I wonder how that went last time.
• 0:33
Speaker 1: And then we got number twelve James Madison, another Muffin
• 0:36
Speaker 1: headed up to the Northwest against Oregon. Two rematches this game,
• 0:40
Speaker 1: let's look over it. Last week a lot of conversations
• 0:42
Speaker 1: took place. We had Army and Navy salute our military,

Speaker 1: fifty stars, thir teen bars, these colosed you do not running, Josh.

Speaker 3: I was sitting there. I was, I was listening to
• 1:52
Speaker 3: you read and I was just like zoning out.
• 1:55
Speaker 4: No, you know, once upon a time, in this relationship,
• 1:59
Speaker 4: in this world we lived in, when I read it
• 2:01
Speaker 4: was people came for me to read all ads for
• 2:04
Speaker 4: you to be able to zone Now as the biggest
• 2:06
Speaker 4: compliment I could have gotten.
• 2:08
Speaker 2: I was gonna say.

Speaker 3: One thing we can all agree on is that game

• 2:30
Speaker 2: Where do we even start?
• 2:32
Speaker 5: It's a great question. I know you seem conflicted mentally.
• 2:34
Speaker 5: You're in a lot of different places right now. That
• 2:36
Speaker 5: ad Rey was not one of them. It was not
• 2:38
Speaker 5: one of them. But a pro does what a pro does.
• 2:40
Speaker 5: Pro does you ask where we are? I'd love to
• 2:43
Speaker 5: know where you are.
• 2:44
Speaker 3: It's more of like I'm thinking of all the headlines
• 2:47
Speaker 3: that have been going on with this is like you
• 2:49
Speaker 3: come in at the shop and we just get on
• 2:51
Speaker 3: the show. So we haven't had time to sit here
• 2:52
Speaker 3: and talk about all of our little the internal dialogue
• 2:55
Speaker 3: that's happening, whether it be Michigan, whether it be you know,
• 2:58
Speaker 3: the portal movement, whether it be uh Nebraska hoops, Nebraska
• 3:02
Speaker 3: basketball eleven right now, Yeah, Hey, the Nebraska Michigan sitting
• 3:06
Speaker 3: at the top of the big tame.
• 3:07
Speaker 1: It might be a fun market.
• 3:10
Speaker 2: So that's where my that's where I am currently.
• 3:13
Speaker 3: And then I'm like, what are some things to ask
• 3:15
Speaker 3: Josh about that I want to learn more that I
• 3:17
Speaker 3: want to learn more of.
• 3:18
Speaker 2: Here's before we dive into these games.
• 3:20
Speaker 1: Here's the best part about that question you asked yourself
• 3:23
Speaker 1: is you don't really need to know what you need
• 3:24
Speaker 1: to ask Josh. I called Josh seven times this weekend
• 3:27
Speaker 1: at least, and one of those times he answers the
• 3:29
Speaker 1: phone and we start talking. He goes, Hey, let me
• 3:31
Speaker 1: just take over this conversation for us. You're gonna ask
• 3:33
Speaker 1: me this, and I'll answer it like that, and then
• 3:35
Speaker 1: you're gonna ask you this because you're a smart guy
• 3:36
Speaker 1: and we think the same way. So I answered the
• 3:38
Speaker 1: question like this, and truly I'm like, he really is
• 3:41
Speaker 1: checking all the boxes I need for this conversation so bad.
• 3:44
Speaker 5: You called me, and let's say you called me at
• 3:46
Speaker 5: nine thirty one and I had a nine to thirty
• 3:48
Speaker 5: five meeting. And you ever be in a conversation with
• 3:51
Speaker 5: someone where you know what they're calling for, you know
• 3:53
Speaker 5: where it's gonna go. Let's just let's just cut the
• 3:56
Speaker 5: time in half and quay longer than the four minutes
• 3:59
Speaker 5: you have yeah, yeah, I'll ask the questions for them,
• 4:01
Speaker 5: then I'll answer him. So he just sat there and
• 4:03
Speaker 5: I just walked him through his conversation, and at the
• 4:06
Speaker 5: end he said, that's pretty much. I have a good day, man.
• 4:09
Speaker 2: And you know what he made that meeting.
• 4:13
Speaker 3: Did you see the the fodder I was building on
• 4:16
Speaker 3: lesson On Twitter? Somebody somebody tweeted, Josh paid is the
• 4:20
Speaker 3: king of knowing stuff five minutes after it gets you born.
• 4:24
Speaker 1: It was after that Jurassic Park water gift.
• 4:27
Speaker 5: That's been circulating this week and really this season. You know,
• 4:30
Speaker 5: both of you can help me on this because I
• 4:32
Speaker 5: do in the group text, which is encrypted so no
• 4:35
Speaker 5: one can get into it. I do occasionally tell you
• 4:38
Speaker 5: guys what the water gift means. Have I or have
• 4:42
Speaker 5: I not bat at a thousand on that this year?
• 4:44
Speaker 2: I think you have.
• 4:45
Speaker 5: I've let you know so like you can vouch for me.
• 4:48
Speaker 5: You can be my alibi because I can't let the
• 4:50
Speaker 5: public know what the water gift means. Like last week,
• 4:53
Speaker 5: I found out Debor was going to put out a statement.
• 4:55
Speaker 5: I thought it was gonna be on Friday, so I
• 4:56
Speaker 5: put out the water gift on Friday. That turns out
• 4:58
Speaker 5: they didn't release it until Sunday.
• 4:59
Speaker 2: The team rec wasn't as close as you thought, was there.
• 5:02
Speaker 5: It was big tea right here.
• 5:03
Speaker 2: That's why the water was Yeah.
• 5:05
Speaker 5: So yeah, people people have been claiming that I'm engagement baiting.
• 5:09
Speaker 5: I don't even know how to turn monetization on on Twitter,
• 5:11
Speaker 5: so I still haven't made any money off of it,
• 5:13
Speaker 5: but I am. I am engagement baiting and clickbaiting.
• 5:16
Speaker 1: What is your statement to people saying that you're engagement baiting?
• 5:21
  Speaker 2: Isn't it farming?
• 5:23
Speaker 5: Farming? Whatever? It's been a good crop yield this year,
• 5:26
  Speaker 5: it's been a really good.
• 5:30
Speaker 2: Are you engagement for me or not?
• 5:33
Speaker 5: I prefer engagement farming because if you go clickbaiting, then
• 5:36
Speaker 5: they start calling you clickbait, pait and then Alex then
• 5:40
Speaker 5: Alex hit you up, says can we make a T
• 5:41
Speaker 5: shirt out of that? And I say, that's not what
• 5:42
Speaker 5: we're trying to do here, Alex, really.
• 5:44
Speaker 2: We might have to make that, yeah, exactly.
• 5:48
Speaker 5: I can't conscious profit off of that.
• 5:50
Speaker 2: Just a glass of water. It's right there.
• 5:52
Speaker 3: Because anytime my hater comes out, like a hater comes
• 5:55
Speaker 3: out and tries to go up to Joshua, just thread
• 5:57
Speaker 3: it underneath by clickbait plate c bab and you know
• 6:00
Speaker 3: what makes him such a pro to?
• 6:01
Speaker 1: As I asked him straight up, what is your statement
• 6:03
Speaker 1: about it? And his statement really wasn't even a statement
• 6:05
Speaker 1: to claim whether or not he was clickbaiting.
• 6:07
Speaker 2: He just likes the phrasing of the names better.
• 6:08
Speaker 1: Which brings us into the Michigan thing, but which brings
• 6:12
Speaker 1: us into Michigan because Kenny Dillingham and Kaiala de bor
• 6:15
Speaker 1: Keayn de Bor comes out of a statement Alabama fans, geez,
• 6:18
Speaker 1: like he put out a statement, he said he had
• 6:20
Speaker 1: a press conference, and then as a Michigan fan, we
• 6:22
Speaker 1: will look at it and go He didn't really, he
• 6:24
Speaker 1: did kind of like laugh and say yes about twenty
• 6:26
  Speaker 1: twenty six.
• 6:27
Speaker 2: Twenty twenty six is January first? Yeah, what is January second?
• 6:30
Speaker 1: And Dillingham's like, I'm all about people in my camp,
• 6:33
Speaker 1: like well, I don't know, Like I'm here for my
• 6:34
Speaker 1: people who are in the trenches of me. All these
• 6:36
Speaker 1: things meant to warfare, but doesn't really say I'm for
• 6:39
Speaker 1: sure going to be at ASU. So Michigan fans are
• 6:41
Speaker 1: sitting there everywhere, sit in the house on fire, being
• 6:43
Speaker 1: speculation saving this is gonna be one of these guys
• 6:45
Speaker 1: are gonna be our guys.
• 6:46
Speaker 3: They're witnessing games being played like we know as players,
• 6:50
Speaker 3: like anytime, like when agents got hold of us, Like
• 6:52
  Speaker 3: there's a there's a way to go about the game
• 6:55
Speaker 3: with your messaging, with your words and everything else. And
• 6:57
Speaker 3: it's like even though uh dubor put out this statement
• 7:00
Speaker 3: then had the presser and was answering questions in the
• 7:03
Speaker 3: presser the way he was like, I wasn't completely sold
• 7:06
Speaker 3: that he's sitting here.
• 7:06
Speaker 2: He's like, he's not shutting it all the way down, right.
• 7:09
Speaker 1: Which is smart even if your goal is to stay
• 7:11
Speaker 1: exactly where you're at, Like, don't just shut it down
• 7:13
Speaker 1: now you lost our leverage.
• 7:14
Speaker 3: Yeah, he talks about the way the team is handling
• 7:17
Speaker 3: the distractions. He's not, Yeah, where is everybody?
• 7:22
Speaker 5: All right? So I used to when I would watch
• 7:24
Speaker 5: coaching searches happen and I had nobody to talk to,
• 7:27
Speaker 5: no source, know nothing, I would just watch it purely
• 7:30
Speaker 5: as a fan. I would think that there was this
• 7:32
Speaker 5: huge game being played behind the curtain, which to a
• 7:35
Speaker 5: certain extent, there is. But the game doesn't work the
• 7:37
Speaker 5: way you think it works, all right, So we fast
• 7:38
Speaker 5: forward to modern day. I've observed it this week. Just
• 7:42
Speaker 5: as an example, I'll go over on the Michigan on
• 7:45
Speaker 5: three site and I'll look at the message board because
• 7:46
Speaker 5: I love to see what fans are saying about it,
• 7:48
Speaker 5: and I love to try and match it to what
• 7:51
Speaker 5: I may know to be true and see what's real
• 7:53
Speaker 5: and what's fake. All Right, So there's been this working
• 7:56
Speaker 5: narrative this week. You guys have probably dealt with this too.
• 7:59
Speaker 5: You go on your show, go on whatever platform you have.
• 8:01
Speaker 5: People know that you know Kenny Dillingham. People know that
• 8:04
Speaker 5: I know Kenny Dillingham. Anytime you advocate for a guy,
• 8:08
Speaker 5: you know that's misconstrued as ah Man. He's in on
• 8:12
Speaker 5: whatever the mechanations of this search are, and he's lobbying
• 8:15
Speaker 5: for his guy to get a raise, and he's using
• 8:18
Speaker 5: Michigan as leverage, and like, I know the truth the
• 8:20
Speaker 5: whole time. And the truth is I've talked to Kenny
• 8:23
Speaker 5: like five times in the past week. At no point
• 8:26
Speaker 5: did anything even remotely coming close to that ever come up.
• 8:30
Speaker 5: Same thing would like debor same thing with Alabama. It's
• 8:33
Speaker 5: just if I'm talking about Kenny Dillingham publicly, it's cause
• 8:36
  Speaker 5: I think he's a pretty good coach. I think it
• 8:38
Speaker 5: would be fun to watch him go to Michigan. If
• 8:40
Speaker 5: I were Michigan, I would pursue him. That's kind of it.
• 8:43
Speaker 5: We're sitting here, we're recording Wednesday morning, December seventeenth. I
• 8:47
Speaker 5: have no idea how the Michigan search is going to
• 8:48
Speaker 5: turn out. I don't know if Kenny would take the
• 8:50
Speaker 5: job if they offered it to him. I do know
• 8:52
Speaker 5: he would listen to it, because anyone would listen because
• 8:55
Speaker 5: it's the Michigan job. But if anyone is sitting there thinking, oh,
• 8:58
Speaker 5: this is as simple as Michigan offers debor, Debor says no,
• 9:02
Speaker 5: and then it's just Kenny's job, it may turn out
• 9:06
Speaker 5: like that. But it's not Kenny sitting there frothing at
• 9:08
Speaker 5: the mouth waiting for the job offer and just anxious
• 9:11
Speaker 5: to throw the deuces up to Arizona State. He's got
• 9:13
Speaker 5: a really, really firm root system in Arizona State for
• 9:16
Speaker 5: many different reasons that are unique to him in Arizona State.
• 9:19
Speaker 5: So he may take it if he gets offered. He
• 9:22
Speaker 5: may not get offered. It's just assumed that we understand
• 9:25
Speaker 5: the pecking order at Michigan is it's de Boor and
• 9:28
Speaker 5: then probably Kenny Dillingham for the record, I think that's
• 9:31
Speaker 5: what it is. I don't know that though. You could
• 9:33
Speaker 5: probably shed some light on that, because you can see
• 9:35
Speaker 5: under the Michigan hood a little bit more than the
• 9:37
Speaker 5: rest of us. We're just looking at the car from
• 9:38
  Speaker 5: across the street.
• 9:39
Speaker 1: Yeah, I think the problem that Michigan has right now
• 9:42
Speaker 1: is there are essentially three or four different camps trying
• 9:45
Speaker 1: to make the decision of what's taking place. So we
• 9:47
Speaker 1: had a complation on busting with the boys on money
• 9:49
Speaker 1: about it. If I was essentially if I could just
• 9:51
Speaker 1: do whatever I wanted, who would I go after? Who
• 9:53
Speaker 1: might number one be? And my answer would be Kenny Dilliham.
• 9:55
Speaker 1: Now I've talked to you guys that he's coached with.
• 9:58
Speaker 1: I've known him for a very long time.
• 10:00
  Speaker 2: Guy.
• 10:00
Speaker 1: He is from an integrity standpoint, character standpoint, and so
• 10:03
Speaker 1: he would be a perfect fit to go up give
• 10:05
Speaker 1: some new blood to Michigan, a new energetic mindset, can
• 10:09
Speaker 1: fix any offensive problem, and then put a great defensive
• 10:12
Speaker 1: staff around him. I don't know what that noise is,
• 10:14
Speaker 1: but oh, that dude's detailing outside.
• 10:17
  Speaker 2: It's okay.
• 10:17
Speaker 1: Now, that's that's what Christmas present you gotta love. That's
• 10:21
Speaker 1: part of the show. This moves me back to the
• 10:22
Speaker 1: train when we're on the bus, when we first started
• 10:24
  Speaker 1: the show.
• 10:26
Speaker 5: I got a good story about that after you get it.
• 10:28
Speaker 1: If I was if I was just say, hey, I
• 10:32
Speaker 1: have to pay a coach. My coach is going to
• 10:33
Speaker 1: be Kane Dalliam. If I could just choose whoever, it's
• 10:35
Speaker 1: going to be, even over Kaylen, I think Klein him leaving, Yes, okay,
• 10:40
Speaker 1: I think his guy one. I don't think Kalen's gonna leave.
• 10:42
Speaker 1: I don't think that's an option in the perfect world.
• 10:45
Speaker 1: Like if he goes, then the thought process of how
• 10:47
Speaker 1: many of those aliens you bring from Tuscaloucid and Arbor. Now,
• 10:50
Speaker 1: all of a sudden, does Michigan go from like what's
• 10:52
Speaker 1: gonna happen twenty six two? We're looking at a collegeball
• 10:55
Speaker 1: playoff team, Like, yeah, that's exciting. But if I'm talking
• 10:58
Speaker 1: about the next twenty years, who's going to be our guy?
• 11:00
Speaker 1: Think Kenny Dillion fits that profile for Michigan perfectly. But
• 11:03
Speaker 1: then I start to think about it more and what
• 11:06
Speaker 1: Michigan has is a much bigger issue than who the
• 11:08
Speaker 1: next head coach is going to be at this at
• 11:10
Speaker 1: the school, they have no president, they have interim president.
• 11:14
Speaker 1: The AD is kind of sitting there and internally they
• 11:17
Speaker 1: don't know how long he's going to be there. The
• 11:19
Speaker 1: border regions have a meeting, they decide like, hey, he's
• 11:21
Speaker 1: going to be there for now, but there's no like
• 11:23
Speaker 1: long term. So if you're a head coach and you're
• 11:26
Speaker 1: walking into a place that foundationally is cracked everywhere, my
• 11:31
Speaker 1: now thought is stick with Biff Pog for twenty twenty six.
• 11:36
Speaker 1: Gary Moehler was a head coach at Michigan in nineteen
• 11:39
Speaker 1: ninety five. He had a situation go down where he
• 11:42
Speaker 1: got fired from that job and an interim head coach
• 11:44
Speaker 1: was named in there. His name was Lloyd Carr and
• 11:47
Speaker 1: he was there for over a decade.
• 11:49
  Speaker 5: YEP.
• 11:50
Speaker 1: So I've been told by players and by other people
• 11:54
Speaker 1: that the kids have all said, if Biff Pog's the guy,
• 11:57
Speaker 1: we will stay. And so if you are are taking
• 12:01
Speaker 1: from a pr standpoint, we got to get this whole.
• 12:06
Speaker 1: Like I've had people in the school be like this
• 12:07
Speaker 1: whole Michigan man thing is dead, Like this isn't just
• 12:09
Speaker 1: outside noise, like that whole phrase of Michigan man thing
• 12:12
Speaker 1: it is dead and we want we need to bring
• 12:14
Speaker 1: it back. What better way to bring it back than
• 12:16
Speaker 1: if you sit there and go, hey, we clearly have
• 12:18
Speaker 1: more issues than just who the next head coach is
• 12:20
Speaker 1: going to be. We need a top down foundation. Who's
• 12:22
Speaker 1: going to be the leader of this ship. We're gonna
• 12:23
Speaker 1: name Biff for twenty twenty six. By the way, you
• 12:25
Speaker 1: play Oklahoma, you play Indiana, you play Ohio State, you
• 12:28
Speaker 1: play Penn State, and you play Oregon. That's who you
• 12:30
Speaker 1: play next year. So that's a an absolute gauntlet for
• 12:34
Speaker 1: a guy to come into losing thirty guys if he
• 12:36
Speaker 1: were to come in, If if I'm hearing is true,
• 12:39
Speaker 1: make Biff the internead coach use twenty twenty six to
• 12:42
Speaker 1: find true leadership from a presidents standpoint, to figure out
• 12:44
Speaker 1: what we're gonna do with your ad And if it's
• 12:46
Speaker 1: still the same thought process, Let's say Alabama has the
• 12:49
Speaker 1: same season they do next year, It's like, probably easier
• 12:53
Speaker 1: to get Kaitlyn to born now, isn't it. If you're
• 12:55
Speaker 1: looking at Arizona State and it's like, oh, okay, we
• 12:58
Speaker 1: want we want Kenny. But Ken he still has this
• 13:00
Speaker 1: belief that ASU can be this perennial blue chip program
• 13:05
Speaker 1: next year if he goes eight and four again, the
• 13:07
Speaker 1: reality sets in and it's like ASU is unfortunately like
• 13:11
  Speaker 1: it's a state school. It's not like it's not a Michigan,
• 13:13
Speaker 1: it's not an Ohio State, it's not an Oregon House
• 13:16
Speaker 1: State Nebraska. It's not a school that like the world
• 13:18
Speaker 1: is talking about. It's really the reason that you're sitting in.
• 13:20
Speaker 1: And it takes longer for guys to figure that out
• 13:22
Speaker 1: because a lot of coaches go into ASU, they fix
• 13:25
Speaker 1: the problems that take place, they have some a level
• 13:28
Speaker 1: of success, they think, oh, this is the new norm,
• 13:30
Speaker 1: and then a bunch of shit bags want to come
• 13:32
Speaker 1: into Tempe Arizona because the weather's awesome, the girls are beautiful,
• 13:34
Speaker 1: and you can party hard, and so it takes people
• 13:37
Speaker 1: long and we get there, so maybe you can get
• 13:39
Speaker 1: the same guys in the next couple of years or
• 13:41
Speaker 1: next year without the price tag being as high. That's
• 13:45
Speaker 1: kind of where I've sat since Monday, when I was like,
• 13:47
Speaker 1: we need to go after Kenny Dillingham. I've kind of
• 13:50
Speaker 1: looked at it from like more of a thirty thousand
• 13:52
Speaker 1: foot view, and it's like well, Michigan's got way more problems.
• 13:55
Speaker 1: Why not fix those problems. It's a better look for
• 13:57
Speaker 1: the school. And Biff Pog every person I've ran across
• 14:01
Speaker 1: is like, these kids absolutely love him. And then just
• 14:04
Speaker 1: back in with resources. You still want to be competitive, Biff,
• 14:07
Speaker 1: bringing your guys, NFL caliber quarterback, coach, a good oc
• 14:12
Speaker 1: give these kids what they need from a development standpoint,
• 14:15
Speaker 1: and play twenty twenty six.
• 14:16
Speaker 2: And it fuck you.
• 14:17
Speaker 1: That's a gauntlet, dude, Like it is a gauntlet. So
• 14:20
Speaker 1: then if you go seven and five next year, it's
• 14:22
Speaker 1: very easy to go. Hey, we figured out all the pieces.
• 14:25
Speaker 1: Now let's go find our guy. What is your thought
• 14:27
  Speaker 1: to that.
• 14:28
  Speaker 5: I don't think I think it's viable. I think there's
• 14:32
Speaker 5: a line on the piece of paper. So you have
• 14:34
Speaker 5: one candidate, three candidates, five candidates, and then there's a line.
• 14:36
Speaker 5: Wherever the line is, that's the point past which you're
• 14:40
Speaker 5: not willing to go because anyone below that line is
• 14:43
Speaker 5: too big a risk relative to just keep him. Biff, Yeah,
• 14:46
Speaker 5: I don't know how deep that line is on the
• 14:48
Speaker 5: piece of paper. My guess is probably four candidates deep.
• 14:51
Speaker 5: Let's just guess. All right, here's the problem and it's
• 14:54
Speaker 5: little apples to orange. Is when you look at an
• 14:56
Speaker 5: interim situation in the past versus now, kids can say
• 15:00
Speaker 5: they'll stay if the interim is maintained, there's no way
• 15:04
Speaker 5: to hold them to it.
• 15:04
Speaker 2: True, there's no way. I agree.
• 15:06
Speaker 5: And you say, kids, let's say there are fifty kids
• 15:11
Speaker 5: in the locker room, sixty kids in the locker room.
• 15:13
Speaker 5: All right, Let's say thirty two of them come to
• 15:16
Speaker 5: you and say, hey, we're all staying, right. That means
• 15:19
Speaker 5: you the consensus based on what you've heard is every
• 15:22
Speaker 5: kid we've heard from says they're going to stay. Well,
• 15:24
Speaker 5: the ones who aren't gonna stay probably don't have a
• 15:25
Speaker 5: lot of motivation to articulate that to you. So there's
• 15:28
Speaker 5: a reason why. It's like people who only tell you
• 15:30
Speaker 5: look good, man, you look good, you look really good. Well,
• 15:32
Speaker 5: no one really wants to look you in the face
• 15:34
Speaker 5: and say you look kind of hideous, man. But there
• 15:37
Speaker 5: may be a lot of people in the room that
• 15:38
Speaker 5: think you're ugly. They just are not telling you. So
• 15:41
Speaker 5: it could be similar to that. And also it could
• 15:43
Speaker 5: just be that a kid says one thing and does
• 15:44
  Speaker 5: the other. Because once there's there's a difference between a
• 15:47
Speaker 5: hypothetical and Michigan having a press conference saying Biff Pogey
• 15:51
Speaker 5: is our interim this year, and then thirteen schools come
• 15:54
Speaker 5: in your way, offering you as much, if not more
• 15:56
Speaker 5: than Michigan's going to pay you, and saying we're set
• 15:59
Speaker 5: up to win championship next year. You guys have to
• 16:02
Speaker 5: play that schedule with an interim head coach that pretty
• 16:04
Speaker 5: much the whole world knows is only going to be
• 16:06
Speaker 5: there one year. That would be the pitch that would
• 16:08
Speaker 5: work on some kids. And so I just don't know
• 16:10
Speaker 5: if you can afford to go that route in the
• 16:11
Speaker 5: portal era, but it still may make sense to go
• 16:15
Speaker 5: that route if that If that makes sense, That's why
• 16:18
Speaker 5: I think you really, if you put your crosshairs on Kenny,
• 16:22
Speaker 5: you just got to offer truly, you can't say no.
• 16:24
Speaker 5: And there is a school of thought, by the way
• 16:26
Speaker 5: I've talked to people about this, there's a school of
• 16:27
Speaker 5: thought that if you're going to go hire a guy
• 16:30
Speaker 5: who's like top of the mountain, if you were trying
• 16:32
Speaker 5: to get Marcus Freeman or Kaylyndibore or someone like that
• 16:34
Speaker 5: to come to ann Arbor, they're probably not coming there
• 16:36
Speaker 5: unless they have the full understanding of the eighty situation,
• 16:38
Speaker 5: the president situation, they're going to require full alignment. There
• 16:41
Speaker 5: is a school of thought that a Kenny Dillingham maybe
• 16:45
Speaker 5: and Eli Drinkwitz like a someone like that would almost
• 16:47
Speaker 5: look at that situation as a little more advantageous for
• 16:50
Speaker 5: them because they walk in and they get to be
• 16:52
Speaker 5: a little bit more the center of the world instead
• 16:55
Speaker 5: of the world already existing and them just being dropped
• 16:58
Speaker 5: into it. Now. I don't know if they think that way,
• 17:00
Speaker 5: but that's a school of thought that's out there.
• 17:01
Speaker 3: Yeah, I just think if you're a decision maker looking
• 17:04
Speaker 3: at wherever the line is, like you have your top
• 17:07
Speaker 3: four or five candidates and you're being kind of in
• 17:12
Speaker 3: prison to the thought of I'm leaning to stay Biff
• 17:14
Speaker 3: Pogi because the kids want him to stay.
• 17:16
Speaker 2: Like to me, that.
• 17:17
  Speaker 3: That's that's a that's a recipe for disaster, unless unless
• 17:21
Speaker 3: the decision makers truly believe that Biff Pogi is a
• 17:24
Speaker 3: head coach. He's head coach calber like, it's a guy
• 17:26
Speaker 3: that they want, not at all, Like you take into
• 17:29
Speaker 3: account a little bit that the kids want them. If
• 17:30
Speaker 3: you're leaning like we want Biff Pogi to be the guy,
• 17:33
Speaker 3: then you have the sign offs by the players like
• 17:35
Speaker 3: that to me is like secondary. That would be like
• 17:38
Speaker 3: a secondary part of the decision. If I'm looking at
• 17:41
Speaker 3: who I'm going to bring in as the next head coach.
• 17:42
Speaker 5: What did you just get done saying about Sharon? Not
• 17:44
Speaker 5: you like a lot of people got done saying it's
• 17:46
Speaker 5: about Sharon. They were saying after the USC laws, after
• 17:50
Speaker 5: the Ohio State loss. They were just looking at the
• 17:52
Speaker 5: situations saying, if Sharon were if our job was open
• 17:56
Speaker 5: right now and Sharon was on the open market, would
• 17:58
Speaker 5: we hire him? And the answer was pretty much known
• 18:00
Speaker 5: from everyone. I'd ask the same thing about Biff. If
• 18:03
Speaker 5: if the job were open and you're just you're free
• 18:06
Speaker 5: to go anywhere you want to and you're just working
• 18:08
Speaker 5: with an open pool of hiring candidates, would Biff be
• 18:11
Speaker 5: the guy? If the answer is no, you shouldn't be
• 18:13
Speaker 5: your interim Unless it's a really drastic situation.
• 18:17
Speaker 1: I feel like it's becoming. It does not feel like
• 18:19
  Speaker 1: for Michigan it's a very drastic situation. There's a tweet
• 18:21
Speaker 1: that went out like this is this Michigan scandal is
• 18:23
Speaker 1: the biggest scandal in culturalble since the last Michigan scandal.
• 18:26
Speaker 1: Like at this point, I just think like it seems
• 18:30
  Speaker 1: like there's a lot going on, and I'm sure there's
• 18:32
Speaker 1: there's a frame of thought from Michigan. It's like everybody
• 18:34
Speaker 1: is just associated with the last five years. Let's get
• 18:36
Speaker 1: him out of the building and just start fresh, which
• 18:38
Speaker 1: I understand. I'm just trying to think of what is
• 18:41
Speaker 1: the best long term move form Michian because let's sake, Canny,
• 18:44
Speaker 1: don't sak the job. I'll be already from we're all
• 18:46
Speaker 1: we all know Kenny, like we want him to be successful.
• 18:49
Speaker 1: He is he going to have Is he gonna be
• 18:51
Speaker 1: able to walk into the mission that we have right
• 18:53
  Speaker 1: now and truly.
• 18:54
Speaker 2: Be successful right away?
• 18:55
Speaker 1: I don't know that answer, as opposed to if you
• 18:58
Speaker 1: give a guy a year, Biff, and it's like, hey,
• 19:01
Speaker 1: you get to listen to the year. You understand, we understand,
• 19:03
Speaker 1: you got to take this and we're going to all
• 19:05
Speaker 1: limit our expectations on everything as you've got lit up
• 19:07
Speaker 1: a schedule and we're gonna go find the right coach
• 19:09
Speaker 1: and it could be Kenny and going into twenty seven, well,
• 19:12
Speaker 1: now you have your present, you have your ad He's
• 19:14
Speaker 1: been the choice all the boosters are behind it. In
• 19:17
Speaker 1: the world that we live in now with an Il
• 19:20
Speaker 1: now he's coming into a much more foundationally put together
• 19:23
Speaker 1: school as opposed to this kind of mess that's taking place.
• 19:25
Speaker 1: But it goes back to your thing of do you
• 19:27
Speaker 1: want to be a center of universe or do you
• 19:28
Speaker 1: want the universe to exist and be dropped into it?
• 19:30
Speaker 1: And that's just basically their mindset because whoever is the
• 19:33
Speaker 1: next guy, I just want them to be successful, And
• 19:35
Speaker 1: it seems like this is I've gone from. This decision
• 19:38
Speaker 1: has to be made before Christmas if you're going to
• 19:40
Speaker 1: hire a coach, like whether it's to Board or dilling
• 19:43
Speaker 1: Ham or whoever, it does need to be before Christmas.
• 19:46
Speaker 1: But if it goes on past that, we just got
• 19:48
Speaker 1: a punt because no one's going to.
• 19:49
Speaker 2: Transfer none of that.
• 19:50
Speaker 1: It's like, just keep these kids together for a year
• 19:52
Speaker 1: or as many as that'll stay. Let's say they're going
• 19:55
Speaker 1: to stay and keep it moving.
• 19:58
Speaker 3: I'm just thinking in biff shoes, people want me to
• 20:02
Speaker 3: have the job, but it sounds like I'll only have
• 20:05
Speaker 3: the job for a year.
• 20:06
Speaker 2: Yeah, think about who Biff is though.
• 20:08
Speaker 1: Coach It like a rental car, right, like thinking like
• 20:12
Speaker 1: Biff is a self made multi tens of millions of
• 20:15
Speaker 1: dollars guys, started his own Headshount got into coaching coach
• 20:18
Speaker 1: high school football because he just loves high school football.
• 20:21
Speaker 1: Met Harball started doing offensive line drills in a hotel
• 20:25
Speaker 1: room with him on a dresser, and he's like, you're
• 20:27
Speaker 1: you should come and work with us. He's been a
• 20:29
Speaker 1: part of it, goes, takes a job at Charlotte, doesn't
• 20:31
Speaker 1: work out for him, comes back as like this analyst
• 20:34
Speaker 1: type of guy, Like, dude's not doing it because he
• 20:36
Speaker 1: needs money or legacy. He wants to eat coffee, hoggin'dass
• 20:40
Speaker 1: ice cream and hang out with his wife. Kind of
• 20:41
Speaker 1: need that at Michigan right now. Kind of need a
• 20:43
Speaker 1: guy who just gonna eat too much ice cream hanging
• 20:45
Speaker 1: out his wife right It kind of might be perfect
• 20:48
Speaker 1: for Michigan right now. So but I don't disagree, Like,
• 20:52
Speaker 1: is Biff gonna walk away from this and he's gonna
• 20:54
Speaker 1: have a bunch of calls for the head coach?
• 20:56
Speaker 2: No, yeah he's not.
• 20:58
Speaker 1: But if kids are saying they're gonna stay, which you're
• 21:00
Speaker 1: absolutely right, there are you guys that are gonna leave?
• 21:02
Speaker 2: Why not just keep this? Dude? In here for a
• 21:04
Speaker 2: year and a kid might feel some type of way.
• 21:06
Speaker 3: But I'll tell you the way these agents and everything
• 21:08
Speaker 3: operate behind those doors, they make that pitch to them
• 21:10
Speaker 3: like that, he can't you can't trust what's coming out
• 21:13
  Speaker 3: of these college.
• 21:14
Speaker 2: Players mouse, no doubt, no doubt.
• 21:17
Speaker 3: I would love to see the domino fall of the Boar,
• 21:19
Speaker 3: because then we have a whole we have a well, yeah,
• 21:25
Speaker 3: I guess potentially lame, but then you have a whole
• 21:27
Speaker 3: nother drama series opening up with the University of Alabama.
• 21:31
Speaker 1: And poor Alabama. Who's really had Nick Saban forever? Those
• 21:35
Speaker 1: who gets a guy who was at Washington played in
• 21:37
Speaker 1: the National Championship and like, all right, we're a SEP
• 21:39
Speaker 1: for the next two decades, and then all this ship
• 21:41
Speaker 1: goes down up north and they just get uprooted.
• 21:44
Speaker 2: Poor Alabama. Alabama. No, there ain't no poor Alabama.
• 21:47
Speaker 3: They gottled into this college football playoff that we're about
• 21:50
  Speaker 3: to talk about.
• 21:50
Speaker 5: I will remind you, guys, if you were to check
• 21:52
Speaker 5: the out cradle, I would remind everyone you know, the
• 21:57
Speaker 5: New York Giants job is still open, right, Yeah, Mike Tomlin,
• 22:02
Speaker 5: Marcus Freeman exists too.
• 22:05
Speaker 2: Dude, no, no, no, no, no, no.
• 22:07
Speaker 3: Hey, I'm a big fan of This is a painism
• 22:11
Speaker 3: that doesn't just it doesn't just casually Yeah, it doesn't
• 22:15
Speaker 3: just get casually thrown in here. This man doesn't give
• 22:17
Speaker 3: a ship about the NFL. He just brought up the
• 22:20
  Speaker 3: New York Giants.
• 22:21
Speaker 2: Out of nowhere. He had a Google where that was
• 22:24
Speaker 2: the New York Giants. Job is opened.
• 22:26
Speaker 5: You guys know they built met Life Stadius.
• 22:31
Speaker 1: We're driving from New York for all people watching, and
• 22:33
Speaker 1: we're gonna get back to that just again another way.
• 22:36
Speaker 1: We're driving by and would you say. You're like, man,
• 22:39
Speaker 1: how long has Met Life Stadium here? And we're like,
• 22:41
Speaker 1: I think it's been here for a while, like over
• 22:43
Speaker 1: He's like, no, it's been here longer than take You're like.
• 22:45
  Speaker 2: Oh, for sure.
• 22:46
Speaker 1: That just shows how much you just you see their
• 22:49
  Speaker 1: letters NFL.
• 22:52
Speaker 5: Man, I know my venues, but I just I lost
• 22:54
Speaker 5: track of time. Met Life is the kid who you
• 22:57
Speaker 5: saw when he was a baby, and then he shows
• 22:59
Speaker 5: up at fan reunion and he's thirteen years old. He's
• 23:01
Speaker 5: got a mustache, and you're like, where did the time go? Yeah,
• 23:04
Speaker 5: I look at MetLife and he's my thirteen year old
• 23:06
Speaker 5: cousin with a mustache, and I wonder where did the
• 23:08
  Speaker 5: time go?
• 23:09
Speaker 3: So, yeah, where you have a pulse on everything is
• 23:13
Speaker 3: the college football world. Now again, you just went you
• 23:16
Speaker 3: just went out there. Hey, the New York Giants job
• 23:17
Speaker 3: is still upen you never cared about the New York
• 23:19
Speaker 3: Giants job. Now it seems like you know a little
• 23:21
Speaker 3: something about the New York Giants if you go about
• 23:22
  Speaker 3: your cousin.
• 23:24
Speaker 5: I just think Marcus Freeman is going to be in
• 23:26
Speaker 5: play for the Giants job. I think a lot of
• 23:28
Speaker 5: people in the college football administrative world know that Slash
• 23:32
Speaker 5: expect that. The agency world know that Slash expect that
• 23:36
Speaker 5: not a done deal. You know, I'm not going schefter.
• 23:38
Speaker 5: We can press him and can kind of corner him
• 23:40
Speaker 5: when we get up there, and we can ask him
• 23:42
Speaker 5: what he knows about this. But my whole point is
• 23:44
Speaker 5: if it's even a remote possibility, and it certainly is,
• 23:48
Speaker 5: then that means the Notre Dame job may be open
• 23:51
Speaker 5: as well. So the coaching cycle is not close to done.
• 23:55
Speaker 3: Yet because you don't just bring up Marcus Freeman at
• 24:01
Speaker 3: something you saw surface level.
• 24:04
Speaker 5: I think I think the world just ended.
• 24:06
Speaker 2: Yeah, I hear that.
• 24:07
Speaker 5: I think that was it word day.
• 24:09
Speaker 2: We're just living on our own.
• 24:10
Speaker 5: Wow, So this is what it's like. Huh Yeah, so
• 24:13
Speaker 5: you know a little bit more, not a whole lot more.
• 24:17
Speaker 3: Now I'm saying you know enough to know, like this
• 24:20
Speaker 3: will be as serious that Freeman New York.
• 24:22
Speaker 5: Yeah, he's gonna get a serious is serious. Absolutely he's
• 24:24
Speaker 5: gonna get he is getting a serious. Look. Yeah, Now
• 24:27
Speaker 5: what I don't so I when it comes to NFL
• 24:29
Speaker 5: job openings from the college perspective, I have racehorse blinders on.
• 24:33
Speaker 5: I have like one angle I can see it from. Yeah,
• 24:36
Speaker 5: so I have like one sliver of the pie. The
• 24:38
Speaker 5: rest of the pie. Got no clue about Got no clue?
• 24:41
Speaker 3: Are you a portal guy? You know any direction Nebraska
• 24:44
Speaker 3: might be going on?
• 24:44
Speaker 5: I got Pete Nakos's number. What do you want to know?
• 24:46
Speaker 3: I just want to know who could be on the
• 24:48
Speaker 3: target list. I'm sure all the top quarterbacks are. Yeah,
• 24:52
Speaker 3: if you leave Nakos can give me a sowreds BEA's number.
• 24:54
  Speaker 5: Gotcha.
• 24:55
Speaker 1: If you heard the name DJ liveway, would you feel
• 24:58
Speaker 1: excited about that or nervous about that?
• 25:00
Speaker 2: Uh? Excited? Yeah? Yeah? He was on Josh Fate's top
• 25:04
  Speaker 2: ten sec quarterbacks.
• 25:05
  Speaker 5: Listen, number one.
• 25:06
Speaker 1: Did you did you see uh Josh paid do his Hey, look,
• 25:09
Speaker 1: we're gonna look back at our predictions for the year.
• 25:12
Speaker 2: Talk about over. Yeah, now I'd be excited.
• 25:15
Speaker 3: I think any quarterback that has the ability to be
• 25:18
Speaker 3: like a dual threat possibility and can sling the rock around.
• 25:22
Speaker 1: It would be wild to see Djagway.
• 25:23
Speaker 5: Hey, let me just warn in a Husker Jersey. Let
• 25:25
Speaker 5: me just warn you about potential. Potential is like hope,
• 25:28
  Speaker 5: it's a really really dangerous thing. Don't fall, don't fall
• 25:32
  Speaker 5: for it.
• 25:32
Speaker 1: Can I tell you something? You said those words? He
• 25:35
Speaker 1: didn't hear one of them, because this is just a will.
• 25:39
  Speaker 2: In a nutshell.
• 25:39
Speaker 5: You got to show you.
• 25:41
  Speaker 2: You said.
• 25:43
Speaker 1: Three weeks from now, we're gonna pull literally the start
• 25:46
Speaker 1: of the new year. We're gonna pull up in nebrassic
• 25:48
Speaker 1: Cornhusker schedule. Hey you go, boy, it's my craziest eight
• 25:53
Speaker 1: ten to eleven one.
• 25:54
Speaker 5: This is not a floor we're standing on. That's ten wins. Okay,
• 25:57
  Speaker 5: that's the floor.
• 25:59
Speaker 2: I do nothing. I do nothing but consumer be careful.
• 26:05
Speaker 2: We went seven to five this year. You know, the
• 26:07
Speaker 2: potential and hope I was buying into before the year started. Yes,
• 26:10
  Speaker 2: you do.
• 26:10
Speaker 1: You know what the exciting thing is eight and four
• 26:14
  Speaker 1: floor floor floor.
• 26:16
Speaker 2: Four with the schedule next year, Yeah, we play them all.
• 26:22
Speaker 2: That would have been catastrophic. We play them all as well. Oregon.
• 26:28
Speaker 1: We gotta go to war together next year, arm in arm,
• 26:30
Speaker 1: red and blue like the handkerchief thing.
• 26:37

Speaker 2: So hey, we're starting True Classic Game of the week.
• 27:05
  Speaker 2: That's I'm here right now.
• 27:06
Speaker 1: College Football Playoff, College Football Playoff, True Classic Game of
• 27:09
Speaker 1: the League. Every Saturday's got games, but only one fits
• 27:12
  Speaker 1: just right.
• 27:13
Speaker 2: This is the true Classic game.
• 27:13
Speaker 1: But we go at number nine Alabama versus Number in Oklahoma,
• 27:18
Speaker 1: killing bor versus brent A Venables Oklahoma Ie their last
• 27:22
Speaker 1: matchup of twenty three to twenty one. Right now, Alabama's
• 27:24
Speaker 1: favored in Norman and the total points in the game
• 27:27
Speaker 1: is forty and a half. William, oh me, you can.
• 27:36
Speaker 2: Be going up. I'm going Oklahoma. I'm going Oklahoma.
• 27:40
Speaker 3: And people are probably out there saying, like, why is
• 27:43
Speaker 3: will Will's anti Alabama? Now I'm not anti album. My
• 27:45
Speaker 3: fight is never has never been against Alabama. My fight
• 27:48
Speaker 3: has been against the system because it's broken and it's
• 27:52
  Speaker 3: nothing but corruption.
• 27:53
Speaker 5: Yeah, crimson corruption, crimson corruption.
• 27:56
Speaker 3: They're just happened to be part of it because they
• 27:57
Speaker 3: did like the way that they ended the year they
• 28:00
Speaker 3: got you know, they had their big bad.
• 28:02
Speaker 2: You know father big conference. In this situation, come in deep.
• 28:06
Speaker 3: State college football swaddle and put it passing in their mouth.
• 28:09
Speaker 2: Tell them it's gonna be okay.
• 28:10
Speaker 3: You're not gonna fall a lick in these college We're
• 28:12
Speaker 3: gonna protect you as much as we can protect you
• 28:14
Speaker 3: because we have another mission and that's the ACC and
• 28:17
Speaker 3: that's squeezed out Notre Dame football. So my fight's always
• 28:20
Speaker 3: been against the system, not as much Alabama.
• 28:21
Speaker 2: They just happened to be. They just happened to be.
• 28:25
Speaker 2: You know that target that I'm looking at.
• 28:27
Speaker 3: But I got go ahead, you know question fish, I
• 28:31
Speaker 3: have Oklahoma here because Oklahoma's at home. I'm kind of
• 28:35
Speaker 3: favoring these teams that are getting to play at home,
• 28:37
Speaker 3: getting that juice, the energy that they'll have. And in Norman, Oklahoma,
• 28:41
Speaker 3: I'm envisioning a healthier Materier because we saw the way
• 28:43
Speaker 3: Materia was going your favorite before the season started. For
• 28:46
Speaker 3: the Heisman, I just I think a healthy Marterier. And
• 28:49
Speaker 3: then I also just think something is up with Ty Simpson.
• 28:52
Speaker 3: You look at his the first part of the first
• 28:56
Speaker 3: the majority of the season, he was thrown for about
• 28:58
Speaker 3: seventy percent completion rate, two yards, twenty two touchdowns, two interceptions.
• 29:03
Speaker 3: Heisman A dude who is in the Heisman conversations, love
• 29:06
Speaker 3: me some. Ty Simpson keeps the ball high and tight.
• 29:08
Speaker 3: Don't forget Alabama keep the ball high and tight. I've
• 29:10
Speaker 3: been at an Alabama guy throughout the year when I
• 29:12
Speaker 3: picked when I picked you. But over the last three
• 29:15
Speaker 3: Ty Simpsons throw for fifty four percent, averaging one hundred
• 29:19
Speaker 3: and sixty yards of the year, four touchdowns, three interceptions,
• 29:21
  Speaker 3: and we.
• 29:22
  Speaker 2: Got to watch.
• 29:23
Speaker 3: We watched the SEC championship game and something just looks off,
• 29:27
Speaker 3: could be injured. And so my mentality is Alabama going
• 29:32
Speaker 3: out to Norman Oklahoma. I like Norman, I like a
• 29:35
Speaker 3: healthier materier that they're going to continue to stop Alabama's
• 29:38
Speaker 3: run game. I know Oklahoma doesn't have much of a
• 29:40
Speaker 3: run game either, but I'm rolling with the Sooners.
• 29:42
Speaker 1: They don't small line, they don't they don't want to run.
• 29:46
  Speaker 2: Yeah.
• 29:46
Speaker 3: And then again, if you're leaning on ty Simpson and
• 29:48
Speaker 3: I'm of the belief that something's up with ty Simpson,
• 29:50
  Speaker 3: I'm just not.
• 29:52
Speaker 2: I'm not getting in that foxhole with Alabama.
• 29:55
  Speaker 5: Okay.
• 29:55
Speaker 3: And if I've had this stance of Alabama shouldn't be
• 29:57
Speaker 3: in the college wall will playoff, I'm kind of I'm
• 30:00
Speaker 3: sitting there seeing if they're going to drop this game.
• 30:02
Speaker 3: I almost need them to lose so then I can
• 30:03
Speaker 3: continue to beat that drum that they made the wrong decision.
• 30:07
Speaker 1: This has nothing to do with the choice you're making
• 30:09
Speaker 1: of which team, But if Oklahoma does beat Alabama, definitely
• 30:14
Speaker 1: adds to a spicy storyline.
• 30:16
Speaker 2: Definitely adds to a spicy storyline.
• 30:18
Speaker 5: I've never been a believer that the playoff results have
• 30:21
Speaker 5: anything to do with the selection process. Ie, last year,
• 30:24
Speaker 5: a lot of people thought SMU shouldn't get in. I
• 30:26
Speaker 5: thought they should have gotten in. They got their doors
• 30:28
Speaker 5: blown off in round one. I still thought they should
• 30:31
Speaker 5: have been in. It's just they played a much better
• 30:33
Speaker 5: team on the road and they lost. But you get
• 30:35
Speaker 5: judged on your body of work in the season, not
• 30:37
Speaker 5: retroactively what you did in the playoff. So having said that,
• 30:41
  Speaker 5: I slightly lean Oklahoma, but I think I've got a
• 30:44
Speaker 5: better side on this. I think I got a better
• 30:46
Speaker 5: angle on this, and I think it's the under at
• 30:49
Speaker 5: forty and a half. I feel the best about that
• 30:52
Speaker 5: because I do agree with you about Ty Simpson. So
• 30:54
Speaker 5: last game, when these two teams plays about a month ago,
• 30:58
Speaker 5: they got their offensive production. Bama out gamed them four
• 31:00
Speaker 5: h six to two twelve. They had a twenty three
• 31:02
Speaker 5: to twelve first down edge, But it was the turnovers,
• 31:05
Speaker 5: and they weren't freak turnovers, they were forced turnovers. Oklahoma
• 31:08
Speaker 5: did a great job punching the ball, loose taking the ball,
• 31:11
Speaker 5: and I wonder if Alabama is taking a top thirty
• 31:16
Speaker 5: caliber passing attack into Norman. On paper, it says they're
• 31:20
Speaker 5: number twenty three in the country. But we watched them
• 31:22
Speaker 5: the last month of the season.
• 31:23
Speaker 3: I was gonna say on paper, it's kind of helped
• 31:25
Speaker 3: fluff them. Yeah, as well as they performed in the
• 31:27
Speaker 3: first what eight weeks.
• 31:29
Speaker 5: So you've had two weeks off. They are getting Josh quavisback,
• 31:34
Speaker 5: Parker brails for it at center a lot healthier. You're
• 31:37
Speaker 5: hoping you get healthier if they are like that, If
• 31:39
Speaker 5: that switch clicks again for them, they could throw for
• 31:42
Speaker 5: three hundred on Oklahoma because they already did, so did Ole, Miss,
• 31:45
Speaker 5: so did Tennessee. So that's been done a few times
• 31:48
Speaker 5: this year. My concern is twofold number one. Maybe it's
• 31:51
Speaker 5: still not there, in which case you're talking about winning
• 31:55
Speaker 5: with seventeen points on the board and hoping you hold
• 31:57
Speaker 5: them to thirteen. And then secondly is BAM has been
• 32:00
Speaker 5: dominated in field position against Oklahoma and also against Georgia.
• 32:04
Speaker 5: Against Oklahoma, I think OU had four drives start in
• 32:08
Speaker 5: Bama territory and Bama didn't started drive past their own
• 32:11
Speaker 5: twenty five yard line. So Oklahoma just tilted the field
• 32:14
Speaker 5: as hard as I've seen in any big game all year.
• 32:16
Speaker 5: Georgia did something similar to Bama. If they could correct
• 32:19
Speaker 5: the field position stuff, and if their offense is just
• 32:21
Speaker 5: a touch better, you don't need a ton of points
• 32:23
Speaker 5: to beat Oklahoma. Here, everyone knows that Bama's defense has
• 32:26
Speaker 5: been playing really, really good ball. It's just that their
• 32:28
Speaker 5: backs have been put against the wall by the other
• 32:31
Speaker 5: two thirds of the team. So if they can play
• 32:33
Speaker 5: a standardized game, I would probably like Bama to win
• 32:36
Speaker 5: the game. There's no guarantee I get that. What I
• 32:38
Speaker 5: do think I'll get to a low scoring game, So
• 32:40
Speaker 5: I'll take the under at forty and a half.
• 32:43
Speaker 1: Do you think that John Matier him getting healthy and
• 32:45
Speaker 1: having these three weeks arrest his hand when he heard
• 32:48
Speaker 1: it and we knew what the injury was. This is
• 32:50
Speaker 1: an injury that the only thing that fixes this injury
• 32:52
Speaker 1: after surgery is rest in time. Because before he got
• 32:55
Speaker 1: that injury, he was sitting there at a Heisman front runner.
• 32:57
  Speaker 2: He's your a.
• 32:58
Speaker 1: Heisman guy, correct. He was the front runner when he
• 32:59
Speaker 1: got her, right, he was a front runner when he
• 33:01
Speaker 1: got hurt. And he was a guy that was dynamic
• 33:03
Speaker 1: with his legs. He put the ball anywhere all over
• 33:05
Speaker 1: the field. He could throw it deep to the sidelines
• 33:07
Speaker 1: on a missile, a little arc on it, like he
• 33:09
Speaker 1: was doing things. It's like, oh, this guy's a first
• 33:12
Speaker 1: overall pick, top ten type of guy. Now we've gotten
• 33:14
Speaker 1: these twenty one days for him to sit rest and
• 33:17
Speaker 1: do some rehab on the thumb. When he comes back,
• 33:20
Speaker 1: you're kind of rooting for him. He's like, Oh, what
• 33:21
Speaker 1: a guy's got. Like he's over in Chipotle talking shit,
• 33:25
Speaker 1: being like I'm playing this week, I'm doing all these things.
• 33:27
Speaker 1: And so we've kind of seen them. They lose to
• 33:30
Speaker 1: Texas and then we kind of all just forget about
• 33:32
Speaker 1: Oklahoma and they just you know, continue to win and
• 33:34
Speaker 1: do their thing and then make it in the playoffs.
• 33:36
Speaker 1: The thing that's the biggest thing for me is one
• 33:38
Speaker 1: they're at home. They're a great team at home Alabama
• 33:42
Speaker 1: watching their skid the back half of the season, like
• 33:45
Speaker 1: just kind of not put it together, their top twenty
• 33:48
Speaker 1: three offense. But then we watched them against the SEC Championship,
• 33:51
Speaker 1: we watched them against South Carolina, like we see all
• 33:54
Speaker 1: these things kind of take place, and it's like, all right,
• 33:57
Speaker 1: they're getting healthier, but they're not as healthy they can be.
• 34:00
Speaker 1: The questions with Ty Simpson, like we love them high
• 34:02
Speaker 1: and Ti he'sdapping the boys off as the game's about
• 34:05
Speaker 1: to start. But I just think a healthy jo Mateer
• 34:08
Speaker 1: Bretta Bennable's defense is the thing is the thing that
• 34:10
Speaker 1: gets this done. So I'm half with you the first
• 34:14
Speaker 1: half about caddling, swaddling and loving on a baby and
• 34:16
Speaker 1: having them be Alabama.
• 34:17
Speaker 5: I'm out on that, yea.
• 34:19
Speaker 1: And I support you in good luck with the Crimson
• 34:21
Speaker 1: the Crimson cult not my again.
• 34:24
Speaker 3: The fight is and against Bama. The fight is against
• 34:26
Speaker 3: the system. Okay, fair enough. So you believe the systems, right,
• 34:30
Speaker 3: you believe the system.
• 34:31
  Speaker 5: You're a system guy.
• 34:32
  Speaker 2: System.
• 34:33
Speaker 1: I think I think the way we talked about the system,
• 34:35
Speaker 1: I think Alabama is in that the way I believe the.
• 34:36
Speaker 2: System should still should be made. We agree, So I
• 34:40
Speaker 2: don't think Alabama. He says process is broken, process.
• 34:43
Speaker 1: Pruss is broken. Process is broken. Alabama fixed the process.
• 34:47
Speaker 1: And I'm assuming our brains because you know, we think
• 34:49
Speaker 1: very much alike. Based on the conversation I have whe
• 34:51
Speaker 1: Josh pay took it over and asked all the right questions.
• 34:54
Speaker 1: I think Alabama is still in there, but basically finish
• 34:57
Speaker 1: the season. The job a tier getting healthy. I like
• 35:01
  Speaker 1: John Mattier.
• 35:02
Speaker 5: I like Oklahoma if Alabama wins this game. Remember when
• 35:06
Speaker 5: we were doing the alt cast, I said like thirty
• 35:08
Speaker 5: seven different times, cause there were thirty seven different instances
• 35:11
Speaker 5: where it was warranted how bad Bama was missing their tailbacks,
• 35:14
Speaker 5: not because they were going to run the ball for
• 35:15
Speaker 5: four at four point eight yards per carrier, because they
• 35:18
Speaker 5: couldn't they couldn't incorporate tailbacks in the passing game. All right,
• 35:21
Speaker 5: So jam Miller's back in this game, So that's a
• 35:24
Speaker 5: really really important thing to watch, along with Quavis being
• 35:27
Speaker 5: back and along with their center Parker Brerelsford not dragging
• 35:30
Speaker 5: a peg leg around trying to start. So if Bama
• 35:32
Speaker 5: does win, that's why it probably happened. But I just
• 35:35
Speaker 5: feel so good that at least one team is going
• 35:38
Speaker 5: to have their offense really throttled, maybe both of them
• 35:41
Speaker 5: down to the point where I think the under is
• 35:43
Speaker 5: the safer play for me.
• 35:45
Speaker 3: And then also Oklahoma's just gotten due like keep to
• 35:48
Speaker 3: themselves these last couple of weeks. Yeah, it's been about
• 35:52
Speaker 3: just jo Mateer getting healthy because we understand the hand
• 35:55
Speaker 3: and the rehab A lot of is just some rests
• 35:57
Speaker 3: and everything else. But they've just been able to work
• 35:59
Speaker 3: in the lab being the way nobody's talking about, nobody's
• 36:01
Speaker 3: bothering them. Alabama, you need all of these things that
• 36:04
Speaker 3: kind of you're hoping this gets back on track because
• 36:06
Speaker 3: of what we saw in the first eight weeks.
• 36:07
Speaker 2: Is something going on with ty Simpson, not to.
• 36:09
Speaker 3: Mention too, the bar just being in all of these
• 36:12
Speaker 3: in all this conversation with coaching, like, there are distractions
• 36:15
Speaker 3: going around, and I have no doubt that the Alabama
• 36:17
Speaker 3: team's handled it well, but we all know that that
• 36:19
Speaker 3: can play a factor. And then you got to pack
• 36:21
Speaker 3: up and go on the road to Norman, which again
• 36:23
  Speaker 3: I think is a will be a big X factor
• 36:26
Speaker 3: for Oklahoma on Friday.
• 36:27
Speaker 1: Josh, is there a possibility that Alabama goes on a
• 36:30
Speaker 1: scores Earth type of thing like oh I State did
• 36:32
  Speaker 1: last year?
• 36:34
Speaker 5: I don't. There's an outside chance if they were to
• 36:37
Speaker 5: get the guys healthy at the right time, then they
• 36:40
Speaker 5: could look like the passing attack that they looked like
• 36:42
Speaker 5: earlier in the year. But remember even when they were
• 36:45
Speaker 5: humming like there it's such a fine needle to thread,
• 36:48
Speaker 5: they were still winning close games. The Vandy game, I
• 36:51
Speaker 5: know it was a double digit game, the Tennessee game
• 36:53
Speaker 5: was a double digit game. Those like turned on one play.
• 36:55
Speaker 5: There was a pick six downder the goal line in
• 36:57
Speaker 5: the Tennessee game right before the half. So they still
• 36:59
Speaker 5: have to like thread the needle. But the answer to
• 37:02
Speaker 5: your questions, yes, I'd have to see it to believe it.
• 37:05
Speaker 5: Is it the answer to the question.
• 37:07
Speaker 3: You believe Bama could go on a run and win
• 37:09
Speaker 3: the National here's my question. He was the original pick.
• 37:12
Speaker 2: I know, but I also want to pretend.
• 37:13
Speaker 3: I also want to pretend, like part of me thinks,
• 37:15
Speaker 3: like I don't think does he think that they can
• 37:17
Speaker 3: really win the national title? Or does he know his
• 37:19
Speaker 3: dad Savannah watches the show they have They they like
• 37:23
Speaker 3: themselves some Bama. He knows the truth, but he's like,
• 37:26
Speaker 3: I gotta go on, you know, I gotta I gotta
• 37:28
Speaker 3: let him know if there is an outside an outside.
• 37:34
  Speaker 2: Wow, what's up?
• 37:35
  Speaker 5: Wow?
• 37:36
Speaker 3: That's heavy with what in regards to what Josh got it?
• 37:41
Speaker 5: Let him answer the question. You're asking a lot of
• 37:43
Speaker 5: deep questions about Alabama. Here to be an anti system guy.
• 37:45
Speaker 5: There was a question from the audience that is kind
• 37:49
Speaker 5: of leading me to believe that maybe it is a
• 37:50
Speaker 5: little more personal between you and Alabama than you've let on.
• 37:53
Speaker 3: There, there there's some There is absolutely some personal ties
• 37:56
Speaker 3: in it because everybody sits up here and they're also
• 37:58
Speaker 3: pro sec about everything else.
• 38:00
  Speaker 5: Like everybody.
• 38:01
  Speaker 2: I'm the guy.
• 38:02
Speaker 3: It's the system protected Alabama to be in this college
• 38:05
Speaker 3: football playoff the way that they ended the year. They
• 38:08
Speaker 3: are not a team in my opinion, that should have
• 38:10
Speaker 3: been in the college football Playoff. So knowing that, knowing
• 38:13
Speaker 3: that that's my feeling on perspective of watching the game,
• 38:17
Speaker 3: understanding the system and everything else, do I think that
• 38:19
Speaker 3: they can go on a run and win the national title.
• 38:21
  Speaker 3: I don't think that they're a football team that can
• 38:23
Speaker 3: win the national title this year.
• 38:25
Speaker 5: Josh Clump just handed me a trivia question. Name the
• 38:29
Speaker 5: first team left out of last year's college football playoff
• 38:34
Speaker 5: Taylor Alabama. That would be correct.
• 38:39
Speaker 1: This man talked about I'm against the system. I'm not
• 38:43
Speaker 1: against the Crimson Guide. And all it took was one
• 38:46
Speaker 1: question to pull the thread. You'd be like, I'll be
• 38:49
Speaker 1: honest as you see bias.
• 38:53
Speaker 5: Everybody sits up here.
• 38:57
Speaker 2: To be in the season.
• 38:57
Speaker 1: Going SEC is the most death and my mouth, my
• 39:00
Speaker 1: jaw hits the ground.
• 39:01
Speaker 2: I'm like, bro what happened.
• 39:02
  Speaker 1: We've been a pro like, we've been very clear, we've
• 39:05
Speaker 1: been biased Big ten guys this whole time.
• 39:07
Speaker 2: You're like, bro, what's the truth?
• 39:09
Speaker 1: And now it all comes back. You just mad the
• 39:13
  Speaker 1: elephants back in.
• 39:15
Speaker 2: H This is blowing my mind.
• 39:19
Speaker 1: Buddy, your words produced mine.
• 39:22
Speaker 2: Yeah. The system, this system.
• 39:30
Speaker 3: I can't be more clear here here you're talking to me, brother,
• 39:34
Speaker 3: I know I got you. This system protected Alabama to
• 39:38
Speaker 3: staying in the college football.
• 39:39
Speaker 5: Player except for last year when the system boxed Alabama out.
• 39:44
Speaker 1: Hey, come on, I'll tell you this right now. The
• 39:48
Speaker 1: system did not protect Alabama. Alabama earned the right to
• 39:52
Speaker 1: play the SEC Championships when you have multiple other teams.
• 39:54
Speaker 2: No, no, I gave you.
• 39:56
Speaker 1: I gave you, I gave you your chance. I let
• 39:58
Speaker 1: you speak. I'll let you speak. I can do the
• 40:01
Speaker 1: back and forth, and if you want for a little bit, I.
• 40:02
Speaker 2: Can't be interrupted that a conversation.
• 40:04
Speaker 1: Talk to me about how you agree with the system
• 40:05
Speaker 1: of college football. I don't agree with how the totality
• 40:08
Speaker 1: of the system works. But if we're talking strictly about Alabama,
• 40:11
Speaker 1: Alabama was given the right to play in an extra
• 40:15
Speaker 1: game and for you to hurt them so bad that
• 40:17
Speaker 1: they can't play in the playoffs now would take away
• 40:20
Speaker 1: from all championship games. So if you're saying, hey, we
• 40:22
Speaker 1: should rid of championship games, then we can have a
• 40:25
Speaker 1: whole new conversation. But as it sits right now, you
• 40:28
Speaker 1: can't let Alabama be out of the playoffs after Ole
• 40:32
Speaker 1: Miss and Oklahoma and A and M are also in
• 40:35
Speaker 1: and they weren't good enough to play in the SEC Championship.
• 40:38
Speaker 3: This is a much larger conversation because it involves several
• 40:43
Speaker 3: different teams to where if you can't sit there and
• 40:46
Speaker 3: see that deep state college football there was zero, zero punishment.
• 40:52
Speaker 2: For that ass whooping in the SEC Championship, and then
• 40:55
Speaker 2: you saw punishment going on with other conferences.
• 40:57
Speaker 3: Big twelve B. Why you at large rankings. I'm not
• 41:01
Speaker 3: talking about the collegewabill playoff. I'm talking about at large rankings.
• 41:04
Speaker 3: If you can't see the puppeteering that was happening to
• 41:07
Speaker 3: manipulate the system squeeze out another football team that I
• 41:10
Speaker 3: won't name because everybody's like, oh, you want Notre Dame
• 41:12
Speaker 3: in the collegewall playoffs.
• 41:13
Speaker 2: No, no, no, no.
• 41:14
Speaker 3: They you can sit there and look at it and
• 41:16
Speaker 3: be like they got squeezed out and if you look
• 41:19
Speaker 3: at everything that happened, all the insurance policies that were
• 41:22
Speaker 3: put in place to make sure that happens because Virginia
• 41:25
Speaker 3: couldn't win the ACC title game. I don't know how
• 41:28
Speaker 3: else to explain it. I know it's getting directed to me.
• 41:31
Speaker 3: It's just Alabama sec bias everything else. But this is
• 41:35
Speaker 3: a much larger conversation because the system failed this year.
• 41:39
Speaker 2: The system was broken this year. Can't tell you something.
• 41:42
Speaker 1: You just talked about the system and how much it's failed,
• 41:45
Speaker 1: but not one time brought up why Alabama should be
• 41:47
Speaker 1: out BYU was never in it because on BYU was
• 41:51
Speaker 1: never in it. Notre Dame. I understand your argument. Unfortunately
• 41:55
Speaker 1: your argument is incorrect Notre Dame. Notre Dame lost to Miami,
• 42:01
Speaker 1: and they had a head to head against another team
• 42:04
Speaker 1: and Miami beat them by more later in the season.
• 42:07
  Speaker 2: Okay, so talking.
• 42:08
Speaker 3: About time, what was that Miami that last part Miami
• 42:11
Speaker 3: beat them by That played no factor in Miami getting
• 42:15
Speaker 3: in the playoff. Miami is in the playoff not because
• 42:18
Speaker 3: of their head to head win. Miami's in the playoff
• 42:20
Speaker 3: because Virginia lost the ACC title.
• 42:22
  Speaker 1: I don't disagree with that. I don't disagree with that's
• 42:25
Speaker 1: what ended up happening. However, if I sat there, I said,
• 42:27
Speaker 1: look at it, Taylor, who should be in Miami in
• 42:29
Speaker 1: her dame. It's clear Miami should be an over dinner dame. Yeah, yeah,
• 42:33
Speaker 1: he's best, best, it's most deserving. Alabama did did nothing,
• 42:37
Speaker 1: all right. They had the right to go play in
• 42:39
Speaker 1: a game. Now, they had the right to go play
• 42:41
Speaker 1: se championship. They earned it over everybody else in that conference,
• 42:44
Speaker 1: and they get their ass swept, no doubt. There's the
• 42:47
Speaker 1: day if you take them out of the playoffs, it's dead,
• 42:50
  Speaker 1: and that's crazy.
• 42:51
Speaker 2: Alabama did nothing wrong here. B Yu was never in it.
• 42:55
Speaker 1: They were a placeholder for these G five teams, and
• 42:58
Speaker 1: you and I are very aligned on how G five
• 43:00
Speaker 1: should not be in it. So BYU, you can just
• 43:03
Speaker 1: crumple that throughout the window. Miami notre dame. I understand
• 43:06
Speaker 1: your argument, but the reality is you're talking about best,
• 43:09
Speaker 1: I'm talking about most deserving.
• 43:11
Speaker 2: Both of our arguments play. If we live in those
• 43:13
Speaker 2: worlds and Alabama did nothing to.
• 43:15
Speaker 3: You, I see where I was wrong, and I see
• 43:17
Speaker 3: where my anger has been zeroed in on Alabama being
• 43:20
Speaker 3: in and me going as far as to say they
• 43:22
Speaker 3: should be in the college football second, and that is
• 43:25
Speaker 3: where I spoke out of both sides of my mouth there,
• 43:27
Speaker 3: because when I'm making the argument about the system at large,
• 43:30
Speaker 3: it came down to, hey, there's also a world where
• 43:32
Speaker 3: I can see Alabama as long as they fall back
• 43:35
Speaker 3: a slot. But there was zero There was zero repercussion
• 43:38
Speaker 3: from what happened. Oh what we saw in championship, we
• 43:41
Speaker 3: can't hear that. So I agree that my anger got
• 43:43
Speaker 3: very much directed toward Alabama. My anger got very much
• 43:45
Speaker 3: directed toward Alabama. But the system at large broke.
• 43:50
  Speaker 5: I think we're okay. I think we're okay. No, he
• 43:52
Speaker 5: was doing the deep state color.
• 43:53
Speaker 1: We can't shake hands. No you apologized. I'm like, oh great,
• 43:58
Speaker 1: that's growth. Let me shake his hands. We can come
• 44:01
Speaker 1: back together. And you're still mad. No, okay, all good? Yeah,
• 44:07
  Speaker 1: all good.
• 44:08
Speaker 5: He was doing the thing he was doing.
• 44:10
Speaker 1: So you're on Oklahoma for a multitude of reasons because
• 44:16
Speaker 1: I think they're gonna win and you're on the under.
• 44:19
Speaker 5: I have no idea what just happened. No, it was
• 44:22
Speaker 5: a it was a two of five area. Coulde number
• 44:24
Speaker 5: they they heard some stuff was happening on the.
• 44:25
Speaker 2: Show, and you're directed at the Crimson Tide chicken.
• 44:31
  Speaker 1: So it's it's don't don't don't like that, Like that's
• 44:34
Speaker 1: the problem, Like because you said no, you said I
• 44:39
Speaker 1: you by you saying I understand Will's brain just heard
• 44:42
Speaker 1: it's okay for me to do what I just did,
• 44:45
Speaker 1: and we can't have it when someone's when someone's wrong,
• 44:48
Speaker 1: it's okay for them to sit in it.
• 44:49
Speaker 2: No, no, no, I you did this. Yeah yeah, yeah, back,
• 44:52
Speaker 2: you did this. I got too zoomed in.
• 44:54
Speaker 3: I got too zoomed in because my zoom out it
• 44:57
Speaker 3: wasn't when I'm talking about it all at large again, really,
• 45:01
Speaker 3: the at large ranking protection that happened in the acc
• 45:05
Speaker 3: stuff is where my anger is about.
• 45:08
Speaker 1: This is I take a wild guess at what game
• 45:09
Speaker 1: you're taking who you're taking in Miami Texas A and m.
• 45:13
Speaker 2: Notre Dame, Notre Dame being not it ain't being both
• 45:16
Speaker 2: of them teams right now. Yeah, I know.
• 45:22
Speaker 1: It's It was kind of sad to watch Marcus Freeman
• 45:24
Speaker 1: tap him on the leg at the Heisman ceremony and
• 45:26
Speaker 1: be like, we love verb the State of the Year, and.
• 45:27
Speaker 2: He just smiled and nod.
• 45:31
Speaker 5: He gowned the best.
• 45:33
Speaker 2: Yeah wash, she the best.
• 45:35
Speaker 1: But Freeman sounds like he's gone to going to that
• 45:38
Speaker 1: brand new stadium at Life in New York, brand spanking
• 45:41
  Speaker 1: new next game.
• 45:43
  Speaker 2: Where's going man?
• 45:45
Speaker 3: Nicole Bultrom Superior bragging rights for Superior Life here?
• 45:51
  Speaker 2: Now?
• 45:51
Speaker 1: What is the record right now? Eight and seven? I'm
• 45:53
Speaker 1: eight and seven. I believe I'm mating seven. I think
• 45:58
Speaker 1: the tide. Do you think we're taught? Let's just go.
• 46:04
Speaker 2: Rock shoot Superiors with.
• 46:15
Speaker 1: Superior number ten Miami at Texas A and M A
• 46:21
Speaker 1: and M is favorite minus three and a half total
• 46:23
Speaker 1: ports of the game is forty nine and a half points.
• 46:26
Speaker 5: Imagine being in both of these games, which we will be, Yes,
• 46:29
  Speaker 5: we will.
• 46:30
Speaker 2: Can't you guys have fun? Man? I keep forgetting that
• 46:34
Speaker 2: you're not. Yeah Will?
• 46:36
  Speaker 3: I love my family, I know I have a couple
• 46:38
  Speaker 3: of masters.
• 46:41
  Speaker 1: Yeah Will.
• 46:42
Speaker 2: This is a great opportunity for you to be like,
• 46:44
Speaker 2: I'm not going with these.
• 46:44
Speaker 5: Games in South Indiana. To be in this game is
• 46:47
  Speaker 5: in South.
• 46:47
Speaker 2: Bend in Miami, the A and M.
• 46:48
Speaker 3: Neither of these teams deserve to be in Notre Dame
• 46:50
Speaker 3: should be playing in this football game.
• 46:51
Speaker 2: An m lost one one game.
• 46:54
Speaker 5: To Texas at the end of the year for aud
• 46:58
Speaker 5: alert forra aud alert, clump. I'm pushed my heart out.
• 47:01
Speaker 5: I'm gonna text you.
• 47:05
Speaker 1: Do you have you do have a heart out?
• 47:06
Speaker 2: Do you need to go?
• 47:07
Speaker 5: The heart out is not hard enough to where I
• 47:09
Speaker 5: can't change it, gotcha, So let's just continue. I just
• 47:12
Speaker 5: once we talked Deep State College, I had to move
• 47:15
Speaker 5: my heart out back.
• 47:16
  Speaker 2: Yeah. I don't have a big feel.
• 47:21
Speaker 3: I leaned the again in this first round, especially between
• 47:25
Speaker 3: the games with Oklahoma Alabama.
• 47:27
Speaker 2: I lean in favor of the team that's playing at home.
• 47:31
Speaker 2: Uh So I'm rolling.
• 47:32
Speaker 3: Texas A and M in this situation, but I'll be
• 47:36
Speaker 3: I mean, Miami has weapons, they have the defensive line,
• 47:38
Speaker 3: they can get after the quarterback. Y so does A
• 47:42
  Speaker 3: and M so.
• 47:44
Speaker 1: Does an M to run the ball, Miami does a
• 47:45
Speaker 1: great job against the run. Which quarterback is going to
• 47:48
Speaker 1: show up? Which version of which quarterback is gonna show up?
• 47:51
  Speaker 1: Marcehall Reid?
• 47:51
Speaker 2: Who do you have?
• 47:53
Speaker 1: Honestly, I go back and forth. I literally did not
• 47:54
Speaker 1: make a decisions till I sat in this chair, And
• 47:56
Speaker 1: as I'm even speaking right now, I don't really have
• 47:58
Speaker 1: vision A piece of me wants to go I mean, now,
• 48:00
Speaker 1: the bias in me of not having a whole lot
• 48:03
Speaker 1: of respect for the ACC right now is really infiltrating
• 48:06
Speaker 1: my brain because I'm sitting here with the SEC. It's like, yeah,
• 48:08
Speaker 1: people want to hand out text C and M because
• 48:10
Speaker 1: their schedule is really shitty. But it's still the SEC,
• 48:14
  Speaker 1: and it's a lot faster paced. It's Kyle Field, It's
• 48:18
  Speaker 1: I mean, it's the cult.
• 48:19
  Speaker 2: Wait what.
• 48:21
Speaker 5: He doesn't think that you said that. He thinks that
• 48:24
Speaker 5: that was planted in you by the deep state. It's
• 48:27
  Speaker 5: still the.
• 48:28
Speaker 2: Because he just looks over a gear like because it's
• 48:31
  Speaker 2: s It.
• 48:31
Speaker 1: Is the SEC, and it's like there's a piece in
• 48:34
Speaker 1: me living in Nashville for a long enough time. It's like, yeah,
• 48:36
Speaker 1: that ship is pretty fast. They do operate a little differently.
• 48:39
Speaker 1: Those defensive ends can really get after that defense flies around.
• 48:42
Speaker 1: Marshall Reed can use his leg what.
• 48:45
Speaker 5: We we we play some good ball down I'm just
• 48:47
Speaker 5: waiting for we to come out of your mouth. That's
• 48:49
  Speaker 5: when it's done.
• 48:49
Speaker 2: It is not we.
• 48:50
Speaker 5: It's not we. It is not Still.
• 48:52
Speaker 1: They do a great job playing football down here, south
• 48:56
Speaker 1: down south, right, They do a great job but I mean,
• 49:01
Speaker 1: Miami's done a really good job against mobile quarterbacks all
• 49:03
  Speaker 1: year long.
• 49:03
Speaker 5: Oh yeah, tell me about it.
• 49:05
Speaker 1: I know I've literally watched that. I got that information
• 49:07
Speaker 1: from your prediction show on YouTube. So that's your information.
• 49:10
Speaker 1: I'm just laying it out here right now.
• 49:12
Speaker 2: You mean tell me that. You fucking said it.
• 49:17
Speaker 3: Just there as you, right in the face, like he's
• 49:19
  Speaker 3: telling you something.
• 49:19
Speaker 5: He's like, yeah, you have the idea. You don't ever
• 49:22
Speaker 5: doubt how much I love you because you have no idea.
• 49:24
Speaker 5: How many times this year I've sat here and watched
• 49:27
Speaker 5: you have the audacity to look me in my eyes
• 49:29
Speaker 5: and cite direct statistics.
• 49:31
Speaker 1: Off from my show how almletna sits you with forty
• 49:34
Speaker 1: forty eight total yard It's some dual threat quarterbacks.
• 49:37
  Speaker 5: And I don't even break a smile. I just nod.
• 49:39
Speaker 5: That's great information. Yeah, that's awesome, that's beautiful.
• 49:43
Speaker 1: Wow, I mean, you have to say it once. Let
• 49:45
Speaker 1: me get to say it.
• 49:45
Speaker 5: Who were they? They were Byron Brown in us F
• 49:49
Speaker 5: It was the Kid at Virginia Tech. It was Kid Florida,
• 49:54
Speaker 5: a DJ Lagway. They played him. They play Karen Jroones
• 49:57
Speaker 5: with at Virginia Tech. They played two more Kevin Jennings
• 50:01
Speaker 5: at SMU, so they play five mobile quarterbacks. This year,
• 50:04
Speaker 5: the mobile qbs had seventy four combined rushing yards against them.
• 50:07
Speaker 5: So I don't necessarily know. This is just kind of
• 50:09
Speaker 5: segue to my pick. I just don't know if Marcel
• 50:11
Speaker 5: Read's getting it done with his legs, which means if
• 50:13
Speaker 5: they shut down A and M's ground game, it's Marcel
• 50:16
Speaker 5: Reid throwing the ball three multi itt games in his
• 50:19
Speaker 5: final five, so he kind of tailed off. He kind
• 50:23
Speaker 5: of tailed off a little bit. That's what makes you nervous.
• 50:25
Speaker 5: But on the flip side, okay, well, Miami didn't really
• 50:30
Speaker 5: run the ball to the degree I thought they would
• 50:32
Speaker 5: this year. To begin with, they're in the seventies and
• 50:34
Speaker 5: rushing numbers, and A and M will shut you down
• 50:36
Speaker 5: running the ball too. But the difference is A and
• 50:38
Speaker 5: M has the number one sack rate in the country
• 50:40
Speaker 5: with home field at their back on third down, and
• 50:43
  Speaker 5: so I ultimately think it's a Carson Bet game, it's
• 50:45
Speaker 5: a Marcel Reid game, and whoever can get the job
• 50:47
Speaker 5: done on third down without turning the ball over three
• 50:50
Speaker 5: times is the winner. And if that's your prediction, that's
• 50:53
Speaker 5: where I'm going you're not in your head. I assume
• 50:55
Speaker 5: you kind of sort of agree with that. It's a
• 50:57
Speaker 5: really high variance crapshoot of a game. So I just
• 51:00
Speaker 5: took the home field team that I think may be
• 51:02
Speaker 5: able to run the ball more consistently. But I have
• 51:04
Speaker 5: no strong field, So I'm taking A and M minus
• 51:07
Speaker 5: the points. I have no strong feel in this game. Yeah,
• 51:10
Speaker 5: I'll take Miami. I'll take Miami.
• 51:16
Speaker 2: Miami plus three and a half. Acc bias.
• 51:21
Speaker 1: Show me something. This is the last time I'm gonna
• 51:22
  Speaker 1: believe in them.
• 51:23
  Speaker 5: This is it.
• 51:24
Speaker 2: This is it. This is the last time I'm gonna
• 51:26
Speaker 2: believe in Miami. This is it.
• 51:28
Speaker 5: You don't want a playoff game on the road? Is
• 51:30
Speaker 5: three and a half point?
• 51:30
  Speaker 2: Dog?
• 51:30
Speaker 5: You're dead to me?
• 51:31
Speaker 2: Nope, yep, Yes, that's tough.
• 51:35
Speaker 5: That's where I improved every year down there.
• 51:37
Speaker 2: Don't let Miami get blown out.
• 51:39
Speaker 5: Don't let him lose.
• 51:40
Speaker 2: Don't let Miami get blown out.
• 51:41
Speaker 1: That would be a lot of what you would think
• 51:44
Speaker 1: is a lot of armor or amo. Yeah, but it
• 51:48
Speaker 1: still wouldn't matter. They could lose the game by twenty
• 51:51
Speaker 1: one points, dude, they still deserve it being over over.
• 51:54
Speaker 2: Notre dame, that's your opinion. What's your is your is?
• 52:00
Speaker 5: I told you my opinion is. We're about to talk
• 52:02
Speaker 5: about some games that are even more extreme, like Jmu Kulane.
• 52:07
Speaker 5: My opinion wouldn't even change on who should or shouldn't
• 52:09
Speaker 5: have made the playoff if one of those teams wins. Outright,
• 52:12
Speaker 5: I don't base my opinion whatsoever on what the outcomes
• 52:15
Speaker 5: of the games are. I look at your body of
• 52:18
Speaker 5: work and I decide should you or should you not
• 52:20
Speaker 5: be in the playoff. But like so, we disagree. In Alabama,
• 52:23
Speaker 5: I think they should have been in. You don't think
• 52:24
Speaker 5: they should have been in. But either way, you think,
• 52:27
Speaker 5: to me, you should etch your opinion in stone before
• 52:31
Speaker 5: the playoff game start, cause if it's not that's like
• 52:34
Speaker 5: if you call a play on fourth and goal on
• 52:37
Speaker 5: the five yard line, if you're a coordinator, Once you
• 52:39
Speaker 5: call the play and it's in and the play starts,
• 52:42
Speaker 5: there's nothing you can change. So it's ludicrous for a
• 52:46
Speaker 5: fan to get to watch the play to see if
• 52:48
Speaker 5: it works out before they decide if it was a
• 52:50
Speaker 5: good call or not. And I think selecting the playoff
• 52:52
Speaker 5: field is the same thing. You think what you want
• 52:55
Speaker 5: about the committee. Put yourself on the committee. Make yourself
• 52:58
Speaker 5: the committee. How are you choosing the play off field?
• 53:00
Speaker 5: You're not choosing it based on how you think the
• 53:02
Speaker 5: playoffs should go, or that's not how you should be choosing.
• 53:05
Speaker 5: You're choosing it on comparable body of work or comparative
• 53:08
Speaker 5: body of work, and you're trying to get the proper
• 53:10
Speaker 5: twelve teams in. I don't say the best twelve because
• 53:13
Speaker 5: that's not how we currently decide the playoff, or else
• 53:15
Speaker 5: two G five teams wouldn't be in. So I think
• 53:18
Speaker 5: Miami should be in no matter what they do. They
• 53:20
Speaker 5: could win or lose by thirty. Same thing with Bama.
• 53:22
  Speaker 5: But I don't think, or let me rephrase, I don't
• 53:26
Speaker 5: like that the structure allows two G five teams to
• 53:29
Speaker 5: get in. But even if they lose by fifty or
• 53:32
Speaker 5: pull an upset out right, I would still feel the
• 53:34
Speaker 5: same way. So I don't care about the results as
• 53:36
Speaker 5: it relates to who should or shouldn't have made it.
• 53:38
Speaker 3: Yeah, it's more of the chaos that gets to ensue
• 53:40
Speaker 3: on Twitter, which is what I'm excited about.
• 53:41
Speaker 5: If you want to see chaos, let that two lane
• 53:44
Speaker 5: Ole miss game be close in the fourth quarter. That's
• 53:46
Speaker 5: when the chaos would ensue. You. You would see more
• 53:48
Speaker 5: bad faith arguments than you've ever seen in your life.
• 53:51
Speaker 5: You would see more people pulling old takes up of you.
• 53:54
Speaker 5: You me talking about the G five, and they would say,
• 53:56
Speaker 5: what now, that's why I'm already fuck you.
• 53:59
Speaker 1: That's what's Yes, you just gotta have any drafts, You
• 54:01
Speaker 1: just gotta have it ready to go.
• 54:03
Speaker 2: Yeah, winter up this episode to bring you form Energy. Form.
• 54:06
Speaker 1: Energy delivers best in class tastes with natural flavors and
• 54:08
Speaker 1: zero sugar. Form Energy has natural caffeine derived from green tea.
• 54:12
Speaker 1: Form comes in a variety of flavors. They have Screaming Freedom,
• 54:15
Speaker 1: rocket pop inspired grapes, smashed blue Blitz, orange Fury. It's
• 54:18
Speaker 1: perfect for those who put in the work. Form Energy.
• 54:21
Speaker 1: We do the work. It'd be bad just send it
• 54:25
Speaker 1: out there. Does too Lane have a shot against ole Miss?
• 54:27
Speaker 3: S says sure, sure, spread on that game is a
• 54:31
Speaker 3: ole Miss favored by seventeen and a half, not a
• 54:33
Speaker 3: big shot over under fifty six and a half.
• 54:38
Speaker 5: This game happened already blowout earlier in the year, what
• 54:42
Speaker 5: was it, forty five to ten? It already happened in
• 54:45
Speaker 5: Oxford that was a Lane kiff and led ole Miss
• 54:47
Speaker 5: tea all right, So when I break these games, it
• 54:51
Speaker 5: doesn't make much sense for us to just like make
• 54:54
Speaker 5: the case for who's going to win the game. Ole
• 54:56
Speaker 5: Miss is a huge favorite. The way I like to
• 54:58
Speaker 5: look at these games, is there a shot the upset
• 55:00
  Speaker 5: could happen. I think there's a small shot here. I
• 55:02
Speaker 5: don't think JMU has any shot. I think Tu Lane's
• 55:04
Speaker 5: got a small shot. They got better athletes than JMU does,
• 55:08
Speaker 5: so at least you know you got the regionality aspect,
• 55:10
Speaker 5: you got coaching churn at ole Miss. When this game
• 55:14
Speaker 5: happened earlier in the year, ole Miss got up quick
• 55:17
Speaker 5: twenty three to three at the half and two Lane
• 55:19
Speaker 5: had to throw their game script in the garbage and
• 55:21
Speaker 5: they just had to try and throw to keep up.
• 55:23
Speaker 5: So if they could have something better than four of
• 55:25
Speaker 5: eighteen on third and fourth downs, if they're able to
• 55:28
Speaker 5: force a turnover, Trinidad Chamdlis has not had a multi
• 55:31
Speaker 5: in game this year. If that were to happen, I
• 55:35
Speaker 5: don't know, like turnover special team stuff. If you were
• 55:38
Speaker 5: to be able to pop them early and make it
• 55:40
Speaker 5: a four quarter game, yeah, I guess anything could happen
• 55:44
Speaker 5: outside of that, though, No, I think Ole Miss is
• 55:46
Speaker 5: favorite favorite big for a reason. I'm taking them to
• 55:48
Speaker 5: win and cover. Actually because this is if you think
• 55:50
Speaker 5: about the point spread here. Sometimes in college football in
• 55:53
Speaker 5: the season, when you have these big points spreads, it
• 55:56
Speaker 5: means you don't have the favorites full attention. Sometimes it's
• 55:59
Speaker 5: a letdown spot, sometimes it's a look ahead spot. This
• 56:01
Speaker 5: is one of the only spots in college football where
• 56:03
Speaker 5: you have these big spreads, but you also know the
• 56:06
Speaker 5: favorite has one hundred percent of their attention on the opposition,
• 56:10
Speaker 5: so you get the full weight of that team, whatever
• 56:13
Speaker 5: it is, whether it's Oregon or whether it's Old Miss,
• 56:15
Speaker 5: and that means they don't stop, they don't let up.
• 56:17
Speaker 5: What they try and do is get out of the
• 56:18
Speaker 5: gate extremely fast and be up thirty five to ten
• 56:22
Speaker 5: so that they can coast in the second half. That's
• 56:24
Speaker 5: what their goal would be. I'm going to take them
• 56:26
Speaker 5: to win a cover because I think all the motivations there,
• 56:28
Speaker 5: and you got a coaching staff trying to prove themselves,
• 56:31
Speaker 5: like people are asking, oh, what are they going to
• 56:32
Speaker 5: be without Lane Kiffin. They didn't name an interim at
• 56:35
Speaker 5: Old Miss. This is Pete Golding's team like he's he
• 56:38
Speaker 5: is getting his staff in place. They're trying to prove
• 56:41
Speaker 5: that they're of the caliber that you need to be
• 56:43
Speaker 5: to be an sec staff.
• 56:44
Speaker 2: And it seems like the roster's behind it too. That's
• 56:46
Speaker 2: what I'm excited about.
• 56:47
Speaker 5: Yeah, so I like him to win and cover.
• 56:49
Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean, I'm taking Old Miss like I've been.
• 56:51
Speaker 3: I've been having this stance against the G five. This
• 56:53
  Speaker 3: is like a it's a predator. It's a predator, just
• 56:58
Speaker 3: throw out the bait type of situation. I'm looking at
• 57:00
Speaker 3: these the power forward games we have with Oregon and
• 57:03
Speaker 3: James Madison and also Ole Miss and Tulane like I'm
• 57:06
  Speaker 3: taking Old Miss.
• 57:06
Speaker 2: They're at home. They've already beat him before Golding, right, Yeah, Golding.
• 57:12
Speaker 3: Him seeing him having this team and going out to
• 57:14
Speaker 3: prove something with Lane gone and all the little things
• 57:17
Speaker 3: that you see from the players, uh sitting on the
• 57:19
Speaker 3: outside of it. After all this Lane kif itself unfolded
• 57:21
Speaker 3: and seeing the excitement they have to rally around the staff.
• 57:24
Speaker 2: I'm fired up to see Ole Miss.
• 57:25
Speaker 3: I think they could make some noise depending on how
• 57:27
Speaker 3: how big they win in this game. But I think
• 57:29
Speaker 3: you could sit there and look at Old Miss facing
• 57:30
Speaker 3: Georgia in a rematch, and I'm hoping to come out
• 57:33
Speaker 3: of watching this game against Ulane is like excitement on me. Yeah,
• 57:37
Speaker 3: what is gonna happen when they play Georgia again? Because
• 57:39
Speaker 3: right now it's like, Okay, whoever wins this game Ole
• 57:41
Speaker 3: Miss is gonna be Tulane. You're just assuming that George
• 57:44
Speaker 3: is gonna win that game out right, Uh, but if
• 57:46
Speaker 3: they come out with some fireworks, I would be I'll
• 57:49
Speaker 3: be I'll be fired up for for that game against Georgia.
• 57:51
Speaker 1: It was one of the most That game was one
• 57:52
Speaker 1: of the most fun games to watch all season. Was
• 57:54
Speaker 1: that Old Miss Georgia.
• 57:55
Speaker 5: Ole Miss up two possessions in Athens and still lost,
• 57:58
Speaker 5: still lost in the fourth quarter.
• 58:00
Speaker 1: I don't have a say about this game. Ole Miss
• 58:05
Speaker 1: win and cover ye, Oregon win and cover two for
• 58:08
Speaker 1: here two for this is two for one.
• 58:10
  Speaker 2: Spech Wow you.
• 58:11
Speaker 1: Lanner James Madison wins this game. Somehow, I will donate
• 58:16
Speaker 1: money to their nil fund.
• 58:17
Speaker 5: How much I don't know, name a number, A million dollars?
• 58:21
Speaker 3: No, sure, you'll donate one hundred thousand dollars fifty cut
• 58:25
Speaker 3: and half call fifty.
• 58:26
Speaker 2: I'm just saying whatever it is and be like, hey.
• 58:28
Speaker 1: Yeah, okay, I'll donate fifty thousand dollars to either to
• 58:31
Speaker 1: laner James Madison if they can be either, they team
• 58:33
Speaker 1: straight up, and I will go and I'll dress up
• 58:36
Speaker 1: in the entire mascot outfit and sit in their diag
• 58:39
Speaker 1: and I will apologize to every student that walks by
• 58:41
Speaker 1: me for the greater part of a day. Will you
• 58:43
Speaker 1: shave your head to sure, I'll shave my head.
• 58:45
  Speaker 2: What else?
• 58:46
  Speaker 5: I don't know what you're promising.
• 58:47
Speaker 1: You get a nose piercing like.
• 58:49
Speaker 2: What do you? What do we? What are the things? Oh?
• 58:52
  Speaker 2: I don't know.
• 58:53
Speaker 3: I'm just I'm just miss some of the thoughts.
• 58:59
Speaker 1: I've still this G five thing for a minute. Now
• 59:02
Speaker 1: it's like, okay, now is judgment Day. I feel more
• 59:04
Speaker 1: confident than ever that these seems will not win. So
• 59:07
Speaker 1: it's like, yeah, you can put anything you want up there.
• 59:08
  Speaker 1: It's it's that's what's gonna happen.
• 59:10
Speaker 5: So I got both those, So you're gonna addresses these mascots.
• 59:13
Speaker 5: One of them is just a wave yeah. The other
• 59:15
  Speaker 5: one's a duke. Yeah, I don't know what what The
• 59:19
Speaker 5: other one is I guess you could throw on the
• 59:21
Speaker 5: little Green Wave outfit, but fifty K and then if
• 59:24
Speaker 5: they both win, you're stroking one hundred thousand dollars combined.
• 59:28
Speaker 2: Check. Oh yeah, yeah, that's good point. Yeah, somewhere all's
• 59:34
  Speaker 2: doing that.
• 59:34
Speaker 3: By the way, and he donating one hundred thousand and
• 59:35
Speaker 3: two Lane, which is.
• 59:39
Speaker 1: You don't like that, bro, I just he said, My
• 59:42
Speaker 1: wife and I we already talked about it.
• 59:45
Speaker 3: He he's like leaving anywhere.
• 59:48
Speaker 5: The Lane don school in his way out, you know,
• 59:51
Speaker 5: Lane is so he operates on his own.
• 59:54
Speaker 3: No coach sitting there like, yeah, I kind of feel
• 59:56
Speaker 3: bad that I'm leaving him.
• 59:57
Speaker 2: That's the type of team that's going to ole miss
• 59:59
  Speaker 2: this weekend.
• 1:00:00
Speaker 1: Yeah broken, They're they're going to be so jacked up
• 1:00:03
Speaker 1: for the first three minutes of that game and then
• 1:00:04
Speaker 1: it's going to be over. And I'll said there and
• 1:00:06
Speaker 1: me like, yeah, I told you guys didn't deserve to
• 1:00:09
  Speaker 1: be here.
• 1:00:10
Speaker 2: You did deserve it.
• 1:00:11
Speaker 5: But your problem is with the system, not with the teams.
• 1:00:14
Speaker 1: My problem is no, yes, yes, my problem is with
• 1:00:17
Speaker 1: the system. Like if a G five team, like we
• 1:00:18
Speaker 1: talked about twelve to zero blowing teams out, Yeah, throw
• 1:00:21
Speaker 1: their asses in there. That'd be awesome to see. These
• 1:00:24
Speaker 1: guys don't deserve to be in sad onward.
• 1:00:32
Speaker 5: You know, you know when in Jurassic Park the water
• 1:00:36
Speaker 5: starts to ripple yep, and that's when the t Rex
• 1:00:40
Speaker 5: is approaching. But you know, if you fast forward, we
• 1:00:42
Speaker 5: spoke about this earlier this week. When you fast forward
• 1:00:45
Speaker 5: a little bit, there's another scene in Jurassic Park where
• 1:00:48
Speaker 5: all of a sudden you look up through the Ford
• 1:00:50
Speaker 5: Explorer sun roof and it's raining and it's dark, but
• 1:00:54
Speaker 5: all of a sudden, that t Rex's head first rises
• 1:00:56
Speaker 5: up above the canopy of trees and it throws that
• 1:00:59
Speaker 5: little go in the back of its mouth and he
• 1:01:01
Speaker 5: just crunches down. That brings us to the JMU Oregon preview.
• 1:01:06
Speaker 5: I think this is gonna be bad. I think it's
• 1:01:09
Speaker 5: gonna be really bad. I hope so like paint the
• 1:01:12
Speaker 5: walls with their blood splattering Sarah McLaughlin's special Scorched Earth,
• 1:01:18
Speaker 5: Dan Lanning is using you as a tune up for
• 1:01:22
Speaker 5: Texas Tech Bad. So I think I'm gonna take Oregon
• 1:01:26
  Speaker 5: to win and.
• 1:01:26
Speaker 3: Cover I'm with you just another movie analogies is like
• 1:01:33
Speaker 3: when in Gladiator or they just throw unarmed prisoners out
• 1:01:37
Speaker 3: in the coliseum where the outcome is already decided before
• 1:01:42
Speaker 3: the gates even open. This is just for entertainment more
• 1:01:45
Speaker 3: than it is about competition.
• 1:01:47
Speaker 5: And you're standing there on the field in Autsin and
• 1:01:49
Speaker 5: that crowd is chanting kill, kill, kill.
• 1:01:54
Speaker 3: Dan Lanning says there and goes and they kill, and
• 1:01:58
Speaker 3: they kill, and then they got and then we all
• 1:02:03
Speaker 3: just sweet. Are we happy with all that? Are we
• 1:02:05
Speaker 3: happy with what we just saw? Do we feel good?
• 1:02:08
Speaker 2: Yeah? And this close to Christmas too? Yeah, it's unfair.
• 1:02:12
Speaker 5: Oh and then your coach leaves.
• 1:02:14
Speaker 1: Yeah, because that was pretty brough. You guys played terrible.
• 1:02:16
Speaker 1: I'm out of here, none.
• 1:02:18
Speaker 2: Of you coming with me.
• 1:02:19
Speaker 5: Good luck to you guys.
• 1:02:20
Speaker 3: So this will be an ass beating that we just
• 1:02:22
Speaker 3: we feel uncomfortable watching.
• 1:02:24
Speaker 2: Yeah, turn off at half times.
• 1:02:26
Speaker 5: Yeah, it makes you move around in your seat a
• 1:02:27
  Speaker 5: little bit.
• 1:02:28
Speaker 3: Yeah, maybe I went a little too far with this one,
• 1:02:31
Speaker 3: is what you start to think.
• 1:02:34
Speaker 2: So we feel good. So you're also on organ that
• 1:02:36
Speaker 2: win and cover? Oh?
• 1:02:38
Speaker 5: Absolutely all right, which gets us one step closer to
• 1:02:42
Speaker 5: Oregon Indiana rematch. We would just be one round away
• 1:02:46
Speaker 5: from Oregon Indiana rematch, at which point there's no way
• 1:02:49
Speaker 5: Landing can afford to watch that show. There's no way
• 1:02:51
Speaker 5: that he can afford to watch you reveal the text
• 1:02:55
Speaker 5: that I know you'll get that week.
• 1:02:58
Speaker 2: Who's to say he hasn't got it already. He's not
• 1:03:01
Speaker 2: me saying I haven't been talking to Big Netty this
• 1:03:02
  Speaker 2: whole time.
• 1:03:03
Speaker 5: Yeah, you may not be the only one's been talking
• 1:03:06
Speaker 5: to him, knowing him like I think I do, dirty
• 1:03:09
Speaker 5: guy dirty. My dad spots dirty players, I spot dirty coaches.
• 1:03:16
Speaker 3: Yeah, so we're already calling you're You're already saying it
• 1:03:18
  Speaker 3: doesn't matter who get a Who's saying it doesn't matter
• 1:03:21
Speaker 3: who gets to the next round? Texas Tech's going to
• 1:03:24
Speaker 3: be out. One of the SEC teams was saying, Oklahoma
• 1:03:28
  Speaker 3: and Alabama.
• 1:03:29
Speaker 5: Do you think that Oklahoma or Alabama would have a
• 1:03:32
Speaker 5: better shot against Indiana? Which is just a mind boggling sentence,
• 1:03:35
Speaker 5: But which one do you think would have a better shot?
• 1:03:38
Speaker 5: I got a theory on that.
• 1:03:40
Speaker 2: I would say Oklahoma Oklahoma.
• 1:03:42
Speaker 5: I think Alabama would have a better shot because Oklahoma
• 1:03:45
Speaker 5: is so offensively limited. If Alabama is playing Indiana, it's
• 1:03:51
Speaker 5: because Alabama's offense was good enough to go in to
• 1:03:53
Speaker 5: Norman and win, which means obviously the offense sort of
• 1:03:56
Speaker 5: bottomed out and bounced back a little bit. And if
• 1:03:59
Speaker 5: you then you get them on a neutral field, you
• 1:04:00
Speaker 5: give them nine more days to heal up. Maybe you
• 1:04:03
Speaker 5: get an lt Overton back in conjunction with these offensive players.
• 1:04:07
Speaker 5: I just think Alabama's offense at its best is way
• 1:04:09
Speaker 5: more dynamic and can test your corners. Also a little
• 1:04:12
Speaker 5: bit that's being glossed over. We're not breaking down Indiana,
• 1:04:15
Speaker 5: but they lost one of their best defensive players for
• 1:04:17
Speaker 5: the year in the big tension, and you know that

Speaker 5: that's not really being talked about a lot.
• 1:04:22
Speaker 1: Yeah, five of those guys that was just a freak acts. Yeah,
• 1:04:27
Speaker 1: just celebrating with the then got the shirt on.
• 1:04:30
Speaker 2: And they like, get the cart. What happened?
• 1:04:32
Speaker 1: He just jumped in the air and high five to
• 1:04:34
Speaker 1: the kid and then buckled.
• 1:04:36
Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, that's brutal man.
• 1:04:38
Speaker 3: I'm more thinking of like a grittier game, Like let's
• 1:04:40
Speaker 3: say John myttears healthier, and that does make a difference
• 1:04:42
Speaker 3: because we all again got to see him before he
• 1:04:44
Speaker 3: had that injury. Then I just look at more of
• 1:04:46
Speaker 3: like the two other phases of the game, being defensive
• 1:04:49
Speaker 3: special teams, and I think if you're going to compete
• 1:04:51
Speaker 3: against obviously Indiana's gonna not have their best defensive player.
• 1:04:55
Speaker 3: But the way you kind of watch that Ohio State
• 1:04:57
Speaker 3: of Indiana game unfold, if I'm picturing that for the
• 1:04:59
Speaker 3: game again, it's whoever be Alabama or Oklahoma. I feel
• 1:05:02
Speaker 3: like Oklahoma would just be better suited because they have defense
• 1:05:05
Speaker 3: to match their defense, they have special teams where you
• 1:05:07
Speaker 3: can play the field position game. And then again you're
• 1:05:11
Speaker 3: just you're more hopeful that a healthier job materier like
• 1:05:14
Speaker 3: just somebody's gonna make a playoffensively if it's not, you know,
• 1:05:17
Speaker 3: a defensive turnover and score.
• 1:05:20
  Speaker 5: Playoffs are here.
• 1:05:21
