- 0:00Speaker 1: You see, when a man has no one but God,
- 0:02Speaker 1: he walks into a realm, where earthly attachments lose their
- 0:05Speaker 1: grip and eternity becomes real. This is not just loneliness.
- 0:09Speaker 1: This is sacred ground. It is the place where the
- 0:13Speaker 1: soul discovers its true dependence, not on the approval of others,
- 0:17Speaker 1: not on material stability, not on fleeting comforts, but on
- 0:21Speaker 1: the presence of the living God. Some of the greatest
- 0:24Speaker 1: men who ever walked this earth were men who spent
- 0:26Speaker 1: time in the wilderness of isolation. Abraham walked away from
- 0:31Speaker 1: everything familiar to follow a voice he could not see.
- 0:35Speaker 1: Joseph was betrayed, sold imprisoned, and forgotten. Before the dream
- 0:40Speaker 1: came to pass, Elijah stood alone against kings and prophets
- 0:44Speaker 1: of false gods. They all walked through the fire of solitude,
- 0:49Speaker 1: but not a single one walked alone, and neither will you.
- 0:53Speaker 1: You are not abandoned, You are being refined. You are
- 0:57Speaker 1: not forgotten, you are being paired. God is doing a
- 1:02Speaker 1: work in you that no man can see.
- 1:04Speaker 2: Yet.
- 1:05Speaker 1: That's why you must not give up. Don't curse the silence,
- 1:09Speaker 1: don't run from the stillness, stay with it. Something holy
- 1:13Speaker 1: is happening when the world leaves you behind, when friends
- 1:16Speaker 1: fall away, when loved ones don't understand. When you stand
- 1:20Speaker 1: at the edge of yourself and say, God, I can't
- 1:23Speaker 1: take one more step, That's when Heaven answers with power.
- 1:27Speaker 1: That's when strength rises it's not your own. That's when
- 1:32Speaker 1: peace comes in the middle of a storm, not because
- 1:34Speaker 1: the waves stop, but because you finally saw the one
- 1:38Speaker 1: who walks on water. Faith is forged not in comfort,
- 1:42Speaker 1: but in contradiction. When everything says you're alone, yet you
- 1:46Speaker 1: choose to believe you're held. When everything says you're finished,
- 1:50Speaker 1: yet you hear the still small voice say I'm not
- 1:54Speaker 1: done with you yet.
- 1:56Speaker 2: That's faith.
- 1:57Speaker 1: That's fire tested belief, and that is unshakable. God has
- 2:01Speaker 1: always been in the business of showing up when all
- 2:04Speaker 1: other options are gone. He doesn't need favorable conditions, he
- 2:08Speaker 1: doesn't require a crowd. He hasn't waited for perfect timing
- 2:11Speaker 1: by human standards. He steps into the prison cell, into
- 2:15Speaker 1: the lions den, into the fiery furnace, not after the crisis,
- 2:19Speaker 1: but right in the middle of it. And he does
- 2:22Speaker 1: it again and again for those who call on his name.
- 2:26Speaker 1: You may be feeling overlooked today, maybe no one sees
- 2:30Speaker 1: your pain. Maybe they see your strength but not your struggle.
- 2:34Speaker 1: They see the smile, but not the sleepless nights. And maybe,
- 2:38Speaker 1: just maybe you've started to believe the lie that you
- 2:42Speaker 1: have to carry this all on your own. But I
- 2:45Speaker 1: came to tell you you don't. You were never meant to.
- 2:50Speaker 1: There's one who sticks closer than a brother, one will
- 2:54Speaker 1: never leave you nor forsake you. One who is the
- 2:56Speaker 1: same yesterday, today and forever. One whose eyes are on
- 2:59Speaker 1: the sparrow and whose arms are underneath you even now.
- 3:03Speaker 1: He sees the hidden battles, he sees the broken places,
- 3:08Speaker 1: he sees the tears that no one else sees, and
- 3:10Speaker 1: he says, you are mine, You are not forgotten, You
- 3:16Speaker 1: are not alone. There's a kind of prayer that comes
- 3:20Speaker 1: only when a man is out of options. It's not polished,
- 3:23Speaker 1: it's not pretty, it's raw, it's real. It's desperate. It's
- 3:27Speaker 1: the cry that rises from the dust and the ashes
- 3:30Speaker 1: and says God, if you don't show up, I won't
- 3:34Speaker 1: make it. And that kind of prayer moves heaven. When
- 3:37Speaker 1: you reach the end of yourself, you reach the beginning
- 3:40Speaker 1: of grace and Grace is not some fragile concept. Grace
- 3:44Speaker 1: is a force. It lifts you up when your knees
- 3:47Speaker 1: give out. It carries you when your strength is gone.
- 3:50Speaker 1: It wraps you in mercy when you failed again. Grace
- 3:54Speaker 1: is the hand of God pulling you out of the pit,
- 3:57Speaker 1: not because you earned it, but because.
- 4:00Speaker 2: He loves you. I don't know what valley you're walking through.
- 4:04Speaker 1: I don't know what the silence feels like in your life,
- 4:07Speaker 1: but I do know this. If you've got God, you've
- 4:10Speaker 1: got everything you need. When the world fades, when people
- 4:14Speaker 1: walk away, when doors close, God remains. And not only
- 4:20Speaker 1: does he remain, he restore. God doesn't just sit with
- 4:24Speaker 1: you in your brokenness. He rebuilds you. He doesn't just
- 4:28Speaker 1: comfort you in your sorrow. He gives you beauty for ashes.
- 4:32Speaker 1: He gives you strength for your weakness. He turns mourning
- 4:35Speaker 1: into dancing. He turns weeping into joy. There is a
- 4:40Speaker 1: future for you. There is hope beyond the pain. There
- 4:43Speaker 1: is life after the loss. But you won't find it
- 4:47Speaker 1: chasing the approval of people or the pleasures of this world.
- 4:51Speaker 1: You'll find it on your knees, alone with the one
- 4:54Speaker 1: who shaped you. In the womb and knows the number
- 4:58Speaker 1: of hairs on your head. Don't despise this season. Don't
- 5:04Speaker 1: rush the process. Lean into it. Let it purify you,
- 5:07Speaker 1: let it simplify you. Let it draw you closer to
- 5:09Speaker 1: the only one who can satisfy the deep places of
- 5:14Speaker 1: your heart.
- 5:15Speaker 2: This world is full of.
- 5:16Speaker 1: Noise, opinions, distractions, lies. But when you're alone with God,
- 5:22Speaker 1: that noise fades and what's left is truth. What's left
- 5:27Speaker 1: is love, What's left is power. That power will fill you,
- 5:32Speaker 1: that love will change you, that truth will set you free.
- 5:35Speaker 1: There will be a day when you look back on
- 5:38Speaker 1: this season, not with bitterness, but with gratitude. You'll say,
- 5:41Speaker 1: it was in that lonely place that I learned to listen.
- 5:45Speaker 1: It was in that dark valley that I've found the light.
- 5:48Speaker 1: It was when I had no one else that I
- 5:51Speaker 1: realized God was all I ever needed. And when you
- 5:54Speaker 1: rise from this place, you'll carry something unshakable. You'll have
- 5:57Speaker 1: a testimony forged in fire. You'll speak with authority, not
- 6:01Speaker 1: because you read it in a book, but because you
- 6:04Speaker 1: lived it in your bones. You'll carry peace into chaotic rooms.
- 6:09Speaker 1: You'll bring hope to broken people, and when they ask
- 6:12Speaker 1: how did you survive? You'll say I had no one
- 6:16Speaker 1: but God and that was enough. You are not disqualified,
- 6:21Speaker 1: You are not too far gone, You are not beyond repair.
- 6:25Speaker 1: In fact, you are exactly where you need to be
- 6:31Speaker 1: for a miracle to unfold. When a man has no
- 6:33Speaker 1: one but God, he is ready to be used by God.
- 6:38Speaker 1: He is no longer leaning on shallow support systems. He
- 6:41Speaker 1: is no longer intoxicated with applause. He is no longer
- 6:45Speaker 1: chasing what can never satisfy. He is standing on the rock,
- 6:51Speaker 1: and that kind of man cannot be shaken. This is
- 6:55Speaker 1: not the end of your story. This is the chapter
- 6:58Speaker 1: that changes everything. Stay faithful, stay humble, stay available. God
- 7:03Speaker 1: is not done. He is writing something beautiful. Even if
- 7:06Speaker 1: right now all you see are broken lines, trust the author.
- 7:10Speaker 1: He finishes what he starts. When a man finds himself
- 7:13Speaker 1: in the depths of solitude, it is easy for him
- 7:16Speaker 1: to feel as though he has been abandoned by the world.
- 7:19Speaker 1: The silence of an empty room, the absence of voices,
- 7:22Speaker 1: and the lack of human presence can be overwhelming. In
- 7:25Speaker 1: those moments, loneliness can feel like a curse, a painful
- 7:29Speaker 1: reminder of what has been lost. Or of the relationships
- 7:33Speaker 1: that have faded away. But what if this very solitude
- 7:37Speaker 1: is not a curse at all. What if it's the
- 7:39Speaker 1: sacred space where God works most powerfully in a man's life.
- 7:44Speaker 2: The truth is solitude.
- 7:45Speaker 1: Is often where transformation takes place, where a man can
- 7:48Speaker 1: hear the voice of God most clearly, and where his
- 7:50Speaker 1: soul can be shaped for something greater. It is in
- 7:54Speaker 1: the quiet, in the moments of being alone, that a
- 7:56Speaker 1: man can strip away the distractions of the world. The
- 8:00Speaker 1: hustle and bustle of life often drown out the still
- 8:03Speaker 1: small voice of God. In the noise of daily living,
- 8:07Speaker 1: we are bombarded with opinions, expectations, and endless demands. But
- 8:12Speaker 1: when a man is alone, without the pressure of pleasing
- 8:15Speaker 1: others or responding to the constant stream of noise, it
- 8:17Speaker 1: becomes easier to listen, to reflect, and to be still
- 8:22Speaker 1: in the presence of God. In solitude, a man is
- 8:25Speaker 1: invited into a deeper relationship with his Creator. There is
- 8:29Speaker 1: no one else to impress, no one else to answer to,
- 8:33Speaker 1: just the unfiltered connection between the soul and the Almighty.
- 8:38Speaker 1: This is the space where God can begin his work
- 8:41Speaker 1: of personal transformation. The distractions that once clouded his mind
- 8:46Speaker 1: fall away, and he begins.
- 8:48Speaker 2: To see clearly.
- 8:49Speaker 1: Solitude allows a man to confront the deepest parts of
- 8:52Speaker 1: his heart, the parts that are often hidden from the
- 8:55Speaker 1: world and even from himself. It's in the silence that
- 8:59Speaker 1: we can see our weaknesses, our fears, our doubts, and
- 9:02Speaker 1: our insecurities. But this is not a cause for despair.
- 9:05Speaker 1: It is an opportunity for growth. For it is in
- 9:09Speaker 1: these moments that God can meet us where we are,
- 9:13Speaker 1: not in spite of our weaknesses, but because of them.
- 9:17Speaker 1: God doesn't call the perfect. He calls the broken, the weary,
- 9:21Speaker 1: the ones who have nowhere else to turn, And in
- 9:24Speaker 1: the quiet he begins to mold us into who we
- 9:29Speaker 1: were always meant to be. Moreover, solitude isn't just a
- 9:34Speaker 1: place of self reflection. It is also a place of revelation.
- 9:38Speaker 1: It is in the stillness that we can hear God's
- 9:41Speaker 1: voice more clearly than ever. His words can cut through
- 9:44Speaker 1: the noise of our lives and pierce our hearts with truth, wisdom,
- 9:48Speaker 1: and guidance. When the distractions are gone, God's voice becomes
- 9:52Speaker 1: the loudest thing in our lives. It is in solitude
- 9:56Speaker 1: that we can truly surrender our plans, our ambitions, and
- 9:59Speaker 1: our our desires to him. We stop trying to control
- 10:03Speaker 1: every aspect of our lives and instead open ourselves to
- 10:07Speaker 1: His leading. In that moment of surrender, the transformation begin.
- 10:13Speaker 1: In solitude. We are not abandoned, We are being prepared.
- 10:16Speaker 1: God uses this time to refine us, to teach us,
- 10:20Speaker 1: and to strengthen us for the journey ahead. While it
- 10:22Speaker 1: may feel uncomfortable, even painful, it is in these times
- 10:25Speaker 1: of isolation that we become who we were always meant
- 10:29Speaker 1: to be. God works through our solitude to draw us
- 10:33Speaker 1: closer to himself and to help us become more like him.
- 10:38Speaker 1: Solitude is not a place of emptiness. It is a
- 10:41Speaker 1: place where the fullness of God's presence can fill us,
- 10:44Speaker 1: renew us, and transform us from the inside out. Throughout history,
- 10:48Speaker 1: many of the greatest individuals were not thrust into greatness
- 10:51Speaker 1: by fame, fortun or applause, but by seasons of solitude
- 10:55Speaker 1: and challenge. It is in the wilderness, far from the spotlight,
- 10:59Speaker 1: that God and does his most profound work in a
- 11:01Speaker 1: person's life. When Moses fled to the wilderness, when David
- 11:05Speaker 1: was tending sheep, when Jesus withdrew to the desert. They
- 11:08Speaker 1: were not being abandoned. They were being prepared. The wilderness
- 11:13Speaker 1: is not the end of the story. It is often
- 11:15Speaker 1: the very place where God begins to shape us for
- 11:17Speaker 1: the work ahead. The wilderness, by its nature is a
- 11:21Speaker 1: place of isolation and hardship. It's a place where the
- 11:24Speaker 1: comforts of the world are stripped away, leaving a person
- 11:27Speaker 1: with only what truly matters. In the wilderness, there are
- 11:31Speaker 1: no distractions, no applause, and no external validation. It's just
- 11:35Speaker 1: a person and their creator. And it is in this quiet,
- 11:39Speaker 1: challenging environment that God works in ways we cannot always understand.
- 11:43Speaker 1: In the moment, there is a profound transformation that happens
- 11:47Speaker 1: in the wilderness, one that prepares a person not just
- 11:50Speaker 1: for success, but for a life of purpose.
- 11:53Speaker 2: Think of Moses. Before he could.
- 11:55Speaker 1: Lead a nation, he spent forty years in the wilderness,
- 11:57Speaker 1: an exile, a fugitive running from his past mistakes. But
- 12:01Speaker 1: in the wilderness he learned humility, patience, and dependence on God.
- 12:05Speaker 1: He experienced the voice of God in a burning bush,
- 12:07Speaker 1: and it was in that moment that he realized his
- 12:10Speaker 1: life was part of something much bigger.
- 12:12Speaker 2: Than himself.
- 12:13Speaker 1: Had he been in Egypt, surrounded by power and influence,
- 12:16Speaker 1: he might have never learned the lessons that the wilderness
- 12:19Speaker 1: taught him. The wilderness wasn't a punishment for Moses.
- 12:23Speaker 2: It was the.
- 12:23Speaker 1: Place where God prepared him for a divine purpose that
- 12:28Speaker 1: would change the course of history. David, too was anointed
- 12:32Speaker 1: to be king, but he didn't immediately sit on a
- 12:35Speaker 1: throne in Steady. Spent years running from King Saul, hiding
- 12:39Speaker 1: in caves and living on the run. It was in
- 12:42Speaker 1: these wilderness years that David grew in strength, character, and
- 12:46Speaker 1: trust in God. He learned to lead people not through
- 12:49Speaker 1: military might, but through humility and reliance on the Lord.
- 12:53Speaker 1: He wrote many of the psalms during this time, expressions
- 12:56Speaker 1: of raw emotion, faith, and intimacy with God. Had he
- 13:00Speaker 1: ascended to the throne without these formative years, he might
- 13:04Speaker 1: not have been prepared to lead with the wisdom and
- 13:07Speaker 1: grace that marked his reign. The willness is not just
- 13:10Speaker 1: a physical place. It is often a spiritual condition that
- 13:14Speaker 1: many of us experience in our lives. There are times
- 13:18Speaker 1: when we find ourselves in seasons of difficulty, loss, or transition.
- 13:22Speaker 1: During these seasons, it can feel as though we are
- 13:25Speaker 1: far from God's presence, far from his purpose for our lives.
- 13:29Speaker 1: But the truth is these wilderness seasons are often the
- 13:33Speaker 1: very places where God is preparing us for something greater.
- 13:36Speaker 1: They are not dead ends. They are launching pads for
- 13:39Speaker 1: what lies ahead. Just as God called Moses and David
- 13:44Speaker 1: out of the wilderness at the appointed time, He will
- 13:47Speaker 1: also bring us out of our wilderness seasons when the
- 13:50Speaker 1: time is right. But the preparation that happens in the
- 13:53Speaker 1: wilderness is not to be underestimated. It is in the
- 13:56Speaker 1: wilderness that we learn to rely solely on God, where
- 14:00Speaker 1: we are tested and refined, and where we discover strength
- 14:03Speaker 1: we never knew we had. The wilderness season may be difficult,
- 14:07Speaker 1: but it is in these moments of testing and isolation
- 14:10Speaker 1: that we are formed into the people God needs us
- 14:13Speaker 1: to be in order to accomplish his purposes. It is
- 14:16Speaker 1: in the wilderness that.
- 14:17Speaker 2: We learn to trust.
- 14:19Speaker 1: We learn that God is faithful even when we can't
- 14:23Speaker 1: see the way forward. We learn that His provision is
- 14:26Speaker 1: enough even when our resources seem limited. We learn to
- 14:30Speaker 1: hear His voice clearly in the quietness of the desert,
- 14:33Speaker 1: away from the noise of the world. And it is
- 14:36Speaker 1: here that we discover a deeper intimacy with God, a
- 14:40Speaker 1: relationship that is built on trust and reliance, rather than
- 14:44Speaker 1: on the applause of the crowd or the approval of others.
- 14:48Speaker 1: The wilderness is not a place to run from. It
- 14:50Speaker 1: is a place to embrace. It is where God shapes us,
- 14:53Speaker 1: refines us, and prepares us for what lies ahead. So
- 14:57Speaker 1: when you find yourself in a season of solitude, struggle,
- 15:00Speaker 1: or confusion, remember this. You are not forgotten. You are
- 15:03Speaker 1: being prepared. The wilderness may be uncomfortable, but it is
- 15:08Speaker 1: not the end. It is the place where God is
- 15:10Speaker 1: preparing you for something far greater than you can imagine.
- 15:15Speaker 1: In the depths of despair, when the weight of the
- 15:17Speaker 1: world feels too heavy to bear and the strength to
- 15:20Speaker 1: keep going seems to slip away, it is in these
- 15:23Speaker 1: moments of weakness that God's strength is most profoundly revealed.
- 15:27Speaker 1: For many, weakness is something to be avoided or hidden,
- 15:29Speaker 1: a sign of failure or inadequacy. But in the eyes
- 15:32Speaker 1: of God, it is not a weakness to be ashamed of.
- 15:35Speaker 1: It is the very place where His strength can be
- 15:38Speaker 1: most fully died. It is in the moments when a
- 15:41Speaker 1: man feels he cannot go on when he is stripped
- 15:44Speaker 1: of his own ability and power, that he encounters a
- 15:47Speaker 1: strength beyond himself. In these seasons, we are brought face
- 15:51Speaker 1: to face with our limitations, with the harsh reality that
- 15:54Speaker 1: there are situations in life we cannot control, people we
- 15:57Speaker 1: cannot change, and outcomes we can determine. It is in
- 16:01Speaker 1: these moments of helplessness that God's strength becomes the most
- 16:05Speaker 1: of it. His power, working through our weakness, is the
- 16:09Speaker 1: most beautiful and transformative force in the world. Paul, one
- 16:13Speaker 1: of the greatest apostles of the early Church, spoke of
- 16:16Speaker 1: this profound truth when he described his own struggles and hardships.
- 16:20Speaker 2: He prayed three.
- 16:21Speaker 1: Times for God to remove a thorn in the flesh
- 16:24Speaker 1: that tormented him. But God's answer was not to take
- 16:28Speaker 1: away the pain, but to declare, my grace is sufficient
- 16:31Speaker 1: for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness
- 16:35Speaker 1: to Corinthians twelve Night. Paul's response to this divine revelation
- 16:40Speaker 1: was profound. Therefore, I will boast all the more gladly
- 16:44Speaker 1: of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may
- 16:48Speaker 1: rest upon me. Paul recognized that it was not in
- 16:51Speaker 1: his strength that God's glory was most fully revealed, but
- 16:55Speaker 1: in his weakness. In that place of vulnerability, Paul was
- 16:58Speaker 1: able to experience the sufficiency of God's grace and the
- 17:03Speaker 1: depth of his power. This concept seems counterintuitive to the
- 17:07Speaker 1: world's understanding of strength. In society, we are taught to
- 17:11Speaker 1: rely on our own abilities to push through adversity with
- 17:14Speaker 1: sheer will, power to overcome challenges through personal strength and determination.
- 17:20Speaker 1: But God calls us to a different way of thinking.
- 17:24Speaker 1: He invites us to surrender our reliance on self and
- 17:27Speaker 1: to trust in his power. He shows us that true
- 17:30Speaker 1: strength is not about what we can do in our
- 17:32Speaker 1: own strength, but about what He can do through us.
- 17:36Speaker 1: When we are willing to admit our need for Him,
- 17:40Speaker 1: When we are at our lowest, when we feel completely powerless,
- 17:44Speaker 1: we are often more open to God's work in our lives.
- 17:47Speaker 1: It is then that we stop relying on our own ingenuity, wisdom,
- 17:51Speaker 1: or resources and begin to lean fully on Him. In
- 17:55Speaker 1: our weakness, we make space for God's power to shine.
- 17:59Speaker 1: His strength does not come to us in the way
- 18:01Speaker 1: we expect. It is not a human kind of strength,
- 18:04Speaker 1: defined by physical might or self sufficiency. It is a
- 18:08Speaker 1: divine strength, a power that is gentle yet unshakable, a
- 18:12Speaker 1: power that gives us the courage to stand when we
- 18:14Speaker 1: want to fall, the wisdom to know what to do
- 18:17Speaker 1: when we are confused, and the peace to endure when
- 18:22Speaker 1: we feel overwhelmed. God's strength does not negate our weakness.
- 18:26Speaker 1: It has made perfect through it. It is as though
- 18:29Speaker 1: God takes our frailty and through his grace, turns it
- 18:32Speaker 1: into something beautiful, something powerful. In moments of despair, when
- 18:36Speaker 1: we are broken and weary, God meets us with a
- 18:38Speaker 1: power to rise again. His strength sustains us when we
- 18:42Speaker 1: cannot sustain ourselves. His strength carries us when our legs
- 18:47Speaker 1: give out. His strength lifts us when we are too
- 18:49Speaker 1: tired to keep going. The beauty of this divine strength
- 18:53Speaker 1: is that it transforms us. We come out of the trials,
- 18:56Speaker 1: the times of weakness stronger than before, not because we
- 18:59Speaker 1: did it in our own power, but because we allowed
- 19:02Speaker 1: God to work through us. When we acknowledge our dependence
- 19:06Speaker 1: on Him, we open ourselves up to his transformative power.
- 19:09Speaker 1: We emerge from weakness not as the same person, but
- 19:12Speaker 1: as someone who has been shaped, refined, and empowered by
- 19:16Speaker 1: God himself. The truth is God's strength is not given
- 19:19Speaker 1: to us in the absence of weakness, but in the
- 19:22Speaker 1: midst of it. It is when we are weak that
- 19:24Speaker 1: we are most able to experience His strength in its
- 19:27Speaker 1: purest form. When we feel like we have nothing left,
- 19:30Speaker 1: that is when He can fill us with everything we need.
- 19:32Speaker 1: In that moment of divine exchange, we realize that the
- 19:35Speaker 1: very thing we thought would defeat is the trial, the struggle.
- 19:38Speaker 1: The weakness has become the place where we encounter the
- 19:41Speaker 1: fullness of God's power and great So if you find
- 19:45Speaker 1: yourself in a season of weakness, do not despair. Do
- 19:48Speaker 1: not believe the lie that you are not enough or
- 19:51Speaker 1: that you are failing. In fact, it is precisely in
- 19:54Speaker 1: this place that God is about to do his greatest work.
- 19:57Speaker 1: His strength is made perfect in your weakness, and if
- 20:00Speaker 1: you will trust Him in this season, you will come
- 20:03Speaker 1: through stronger, more dependent on Him, and more aware of
- 20:06Speaker 1: the power that only He can provide. There are moments
- 20:10Speaker 1: in life when we cry out to God and feel
- 20:12Speaker 1: as though our prayers fall on deaf ears. In these
- 20:16Speaker 1: times of silence, it can be difficult to see beyond
- 20:18Speaker 1: the stillness and feel the presence of God. It's easy
- 20:22Speaker 1: to fall into the trap of believing that God has
- 20:25Speaker 1: abandoned us, or that He is somehow uninvolved or uninterested
- 20:29Speaker 1: in our struggles. But the truth is that God's silence
- 20:32Speaker 1: is not a sign of his absence. In fact, it
- 20:36Speaker 1: is often in these moments of quiet that God is
- 20:38Speaker 1: working more powerfully than we can comprehend. We live in
- 20:42Speaker 1: a world that values instant answers and quick solutions. We
- 20:45Speaker 1: are accustomed to immediate results, whether in our work, relationships
- 20:49Speaker 1: or even our technology. But God's ways are not our ways,
- 20:53Speaker 1: and his timing is not bound by the pressures of
- 20:56Speaker 1: the world around us. Sometimes the silence that we experience
- 20:59Speaker 1: from God is not a withdrawal, but a moment of
- 21:02Speaker 1: divine waiting, a space where God is allowing us to grow,
- 21:07Speaker 1: to trust, and to prepare for what He is about
- 21:10Speaker 1: to do. Throughout Scripture, we see many examples of God's
- 21:14Speaker 1: silence during key moments of his people's journeys. The Israelites
- 21:18Speaker 1: waited in Egypt for hundreds of years, crying out for deliverance,
- 21:22Speaker 1: but God did not immediately respond. There were moments in
- 21:26Speaker 1: the wilderness when they wondered if God had forgotten them
- 21:29Speaker 1: as they faced hunger, thirst, and overwhelming fear. Yet God
- 21:34Speaker 1: was with them all along, orchestrating their deliverance in his
- 21:38Speaker 1: own time. His silence was not a sign of abandonment,
- 21:41Speaker 1: but a sign of preparation, as he was shaping them
- 21:44Speaker 1: for the promised land. Even Jesus, the Son of God,
- 21:48Speaker 1: experienced the silence of his father in the garden of
- 21:51Speaker 1: Gysimone as he prayed in anguish. Jesus cried out, my God,
- 21:54Speaker 1: My God, why have you forsaken me? In his moment
- 21:57Speaker 1: of deepest agony, it seemed as though God had turned
- 22:00Speaker 1: his face away. Yet in that silence, God was not absent.
- 22:04Speaker 1: He was fulfilling his ultimate plan of redemption through Jesus suffering.
- 22:08Speaker 1: God's silence on the cross did not signify abandonment, but
- 22:12Speaker 1: rather the unfolding of.
- 22:13Speaker 2: His perfect will.
- 22:14Speaker 1: For Selvin, God's silence is a powerful reminder that we
- 22:18Speaker 1: are not in control. In our human nature, we often
- 22:20Speaker 1: demand immediate answers, quick fixes, and a clear path ahead.
- 22:24Speaker 1: But God's silence teaches us patience, faith and trust in
- 22:28Speaker 1: his timing. It is in the waiting, in the moments
- 22:31Speaker 1: when we feel as though nothing is happening, that God
- 22:33Speaker 1: is often doing his most significant work. He is preparing us,
- 22:37Speaker 1: strengthening us, and aligning our hearts with his will. In
- 22:41Speaker 1: the silence, God is cultivating deeper faith and greater reliance
- 22:45Speaker 1: on his plan, which is always far greater than anything
- 22:48Speaker 1: we could have orchestrated ourselves. The silence is also a
- 22:52Speaker 1: test of our trust. When God is silent, we are
- 22:56Speaker 1: faced with a choice. Will we continue to believe in
- 22:58Speaker 1: his goodness even when we don't hear his voice. Will
- 23:01Speaker 1: we remain faithful when it feels like he is distant.
- 23:04Speaker 1: This is a critical moment in our spiritual journey. God's
- 23:08Speaker 1: silence invites us to trust not in what we can
- 23:10Speaker 1: see or hear, but in what we know about his character.
- 23:14Speaker 1: We know that he is good, that he is faithful,
- 23:19Speaker 1: and that he loves us. And even when we cannot
- 23:21Speaker 1: sense his presence, we can rest assured that He is
- 23:24Speaker 1: still with us, working behind the scenes to bring about
- 23:27Speaker 1: his perfect plan. The delays and periods of silence in
- 23:31Speaker 1: our lives are not signs of rejection or abandonment. They
- 23:35Speaker 1: are part of the divine process shaping us for the
- 23:39Speaker 1: plans God has for us. While we may not understand
- 23:43Speaker 1: the silence in the moment, we can trust that God's
- 23:46Speaker 1: timing is always perfect. When he finally does speak, it
- 23:50Speaker 1: will be at just the right moment, and his plan
- 23:54Speaker 1: will unfold in ways we could never have imagined. So
- 23:59Speaker 1: when you find yourself in a season of silence, don't
- 24:01Speaker 1: be discouraged. Know that God is not absent. He is present,
- 24:05Speaker 1: working in ways that are unseen, preparing you for the
- 24:08Speaker 1: next step in your journey. His silence is not a
- 24:11Speaker 1: sign of neglect, but a sign of his perfect timing
- 24:15Speaker 1: and care. Trust in his process, weight in faith, knowing
- 24:18Speaker 1: that his plan will always be worth the weight. There
- 24:21Speaker 1: comes a moment in every person's life when we reach
- 24:24Speaker 1: the end of ourselves. We find ourselves standing on the edge, exhausted,
- 24:29Speaker 1: worn out, and feeling like we have nothing.
- 24:32Speaker 2: Left to give.
- 24:34Speaker 1: The struggles, the disappointments, the heartaches, and the failures all
- 24:38Speaker 1: pile up and we can no longer carry the weight
- 24:40Speaker 1: on our own. In these moments, we may feel as
- 24:44Speaker 1: though we are lost, as though we have reached the
- 24:46Speaker 1: limit of our strength and endurance. But it is precisely
- 24:50Speaker 1: in these moments of complete surrender, when we come to
- 24:53Speaker 1: the end of our own ability, that we encounter God's grace.
- 24:57Speaker 1: God's grace is not a fragile thing, is not a
- 25:00Speaker 1: mere consolation or a passing comfort. His grace is powerful, unshakable,
- 25:05Speaker 1: and unfathomably deep. It is in our moments of weakness,
- 25:09Speaker 1: when we feel the most broken and vulnerable, that his
- 25:12Speaker 1: grace comes to lift us up. God's grace doesn't just
- 25:16Speaker 1: soothe us in our pain. It strengthens us. It gives
- 25:19Speaker 1: us the power to rise again when we are too
- 25:22Speaker 1: tired to stand, to move forward when we are certain
- 25:25Speaker 1: we cannot take another step, and to continue when we
- 25:28Speaker 1: feel as though we have reached our limits. The apostle Paul,
- 25:33Speaker 1: one of the most prominent figures in early Christianity, understood
- 25:37Speaker 1: the sufficiency of God's grace better than most. Paul faced
- 25:41Speaker 1: numerous trials, persecutions, and hardships throughout his life. In Two
- 25:45Speaker 1: Corinthians twelve nine, he writes about a personal struggle he faced,
- 25:49Speaker 1: referring to a thorn in the flesh that tormented him.
- 25:53Speaker 1: He prayed earnestly, asking God three times to remove this
- 25:58Speaker 1: burden from his life. Yet instead of delivering him from
- 26:02Speaker 1: the pain, God answered with these powerful words, my grace
- 26:06Speaker 1: is sufficient for you. From my power is made perfect
- 26:10Speaker 1: in weakness. Paul's response to this revelation was profound. Therefore,
- 26:17Speaker 1: I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses,
- 26:21Speaker 1: so that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
- 26:24Speaker 1: What Paul realized in that moment was that God's grace
- 26:28Speaker 1: was not only enough to sustain him through his trials,
- 26:32Speaker 1: but it was also the very thing that empowered him
- 26:35Speaker 1: to keep going. It was in his weakness that God's
- 26:38Speaker 1: strength shone through most brightly. His grace became the source
- 26:42Speaker 1: of Paul's strength and endurance, even in the midst of
- 26:45Speaker 1: his greatest struggles. This is the nature of God's grace.
- 26:49Speaker 1: It is not a temporary fix or a fleeting comfort,
- 26:51Speaker 1: but a deep and unshakable foundation. When we feel like
- 26:55Speaker 1: we've given all that we can, when we feel like
- 26:57Speaker 1: we are about to collapse under the weight of life's
- 26:59Speaker 1: birth burdens, God's grace steps in and holds us up.
- 27:03Speaker 1: It becomes the support we lean on when our own
- 27:05Speaker 1: strength fails. It is in our most vulnerable moments that
- 27:09Speaker 1: God's grace reaches out to us, reminding us that we
- 27:13Speaker 1: do not have to carry the weight of the world
- 27:15Speaker 1: on our own. God's grace is not earned or deserved.
- 27:18Speaker 1: It is freely given. There is nothing we can do
- 27:21Speaker 1: to make ourselves worthy of it, and yet in our
- 27:25Speaker 1: most desperate moments, it is offered to us abundantly. It
- 27:29Speaker 1: is in this grace that we find the strength to
- 27:32Speaker 1: keep moving forward, to continue in the face of adversity,
- 27:35Speaker 1: and to endure when the road ahead seems impossible. God's
- 27:39Speaker 1: grace is sufficient to meet us exactly where we are
- 27:43Speaker 1: and to lift us to where He wants us to be.
- 27:46Speaker 1: It is in our weakness that we come to truly
- 27:49Speaker 1: understand the depth of God's grace. When we are at
- 27:52Speaker 1: the end of ourselves, we finally realize that we cannot
- 27:55Speaker 1: do it on our own. We cannot control everything, we
- 27:59Speaker 1: cannot fix everything, and we cannot carry every burden. But
- 28:03Speaker 1: it is in that very surrender, in admitting that we
- 28:06Speaker 1: are not enough, that God's grace flows in and empowers us.
- 28:10Speaker 1: We are not meant to rely on our own strength,
- 28:12Speaker 1: but on the strength that God provide, And when we
- 28:15Speaker 1: rely on his grace, we discover that it is more
- 28:18Speaker 1: than enough to carry us through. God's grace doesn't just
- 28:23Speaker 1: carry us, it transforms us. It's not only a source
- 28:28Speaker 1: of strength, but also a source of healing. It mends
- 28:32Speaker 1: the broken places in our hearts, restores what has been lost,
- 28:36Speaker 1: and renews our spirits. It is in grace that we
- 28:40Speaker 1: find the courage to forgive, the resilience to hope again,
- 28:43Speaker 1: and the peace that transcends understanding. There may be moments
- 28:48Speaker 1: when we feel utterly depleted, when we feel as though
- 28:51Speaker 1: we have nothing left to give. But even in those moments,
- 28:54Speaker 1: God's grace is not exhausted. It is infinite. It is
- 28:58Speaker 1: sufficient for every trial, every challenge, and every heartache. When
- 29:02Speaker 1: we come to the end of ourselves, it is only
- 29:04Speaker 1: then that we are able to fully experience the power
- 29:08Speaker 1: and sufficiency of God's grace. And in that grace we
- 29:12Speaker 1: find the strength to stand again, to press forward, and
- 29:15Speaker 1: to continue walking in His purpose.
- 29:17Speaker 2: For our lives.
- 29:19Speaker 1: So when you feel that you are at your weakest,
- 29:21Speaker 1: when you feel like you can't go on any longer,
- 29:24Speaker 1: remember this, God's grace is enough. It is powerful, it
- 29:30Speaker 1: is sustaining, and it will never run dry. You are
- 29:35Speaker 1: never alone, and His grace will always be sufficient to
- 29:39Speaker 1: carry you through. In the darkest moments of life, when
- 29:43Speaker 1: isolation and struggle weigh heavily on our hearts, it is
- 29:46Speaker 1: easy to feel as though we are lost or forgotten.
- 29:49Speaker 1: The road ahead may seem unclear, and the burdens we
- 29:52Speaker 1: carry can feel impossible to bear. But in these very
- 29:55Speaker 1: moments of uncertainty, it is faith and hope that become
- 29:59Speaker 1: our anger, keeping us grounded and moving forward even when
- 30:04Speaker 1: everything around us seems to Faith and hope in God
- 30:07Speaker 1: are not just fleeting emotions. They are the lifelines that
- 30:10Speaker 1: sustain us even in the most difficult seasons of our lives.
- 30:13Speaker 1: They remind us that God's plan is always at work,
- 30:16Speaker 1: even when we cannot see it, and that He is
- 30:19Speaker 1: preparing us for something greater. Faith is the foundation upon
- 30:23Speaker 1: which we build our trust in God. It is the
- 30:25Speaker 1: belief that even when circumstances appear bleak, God is still
- 30:29Speaker 1: good and his promises are true. Faith does not require
- 30:32Speaker 1: us to have all the answers or to see the
- 30:34Speaker 1: whole picture. In fact, it often requires us to step
- 30:38Speaker 1: forward in trust when we have no idea what lies ahead.
- 30:41Speaker 1: Faith is the decision to hold on to God's character
- 30:45Speaker 1: even in the absence of clear direction. It is the
- 30:48Speaker 1: confidence that though the storms rage around us, God is
- 30:52Speaker 1: still in control and his purpose for our lives remains unchained.
- 30:57Speaker 2: Hope is the fruit of that faith.
- 30:59Speaker 1: Hope is what keeps us going when all we have
- 31:01Speaker 1: is a glimpse of God's promises, a faint whisper of
- 31:04Speaker 1: the good He has in store for us. It is
- 31:07Speaker 1: the assurance that, no matter how hard the journey may be,
- 31:11Speaker 1: we are not alone. Hope gives us the strength to endure,
- 31:15Speaker 1: to press forward, and to hold on to the belief
- 31:18Speaker 1: that our present circumstances do not define our future. Hope
- 31:22Speaker 1: tells us that there is more waiting for us, that
- 31:25Speaker 1: God's ultimate plan for our lives is greater than any
- 31:29Speaker 1: moment of suffering or trial. The Bible reminds us of
- 31:32Speaker 1: the power of faith and hope in Romans eight twenty
- 31:35Speaker 1: four to twenty five, For in this hope we were saved. Now,
- 31:38Speaker 1: hope that is seen is not hope, for who hopes
- 31:41Speaker 1: for what he sees. But if we hope for what
- 31:43Speaker 1: we do not see, we wait for it with patience.
- 31:47Speaker 1: This passage beautifully captures the essence of what it means
- 31:50Speaker 1: to have faith and hope in God. We do not
- 31:53Speaker 1: always see the full picture, but we trust in his
- 31:57Speaker 1: promise that He is working behind the scene. It is
- 32:00Speaker 1: this hope that helps us navigate the difficult seasons of
- 32:03Speaker 1: our lives, knowing that God has a plan even if
- 32:06Speaker 1: we don't yet understand it. When we place our faith
- 32:10Speaker 1: in God and hold on to hope, we are not
- 32:13Speaker 1: only sustained through the hard times, we are also being
- 32:16Speaker 1: prepared for the greater purpose He has for our lives.
- 32:20Speaker 1: Struggles and challenges are not random. They are the refining
- 32:24Speaker 1: process that shapes us into the people God needs us
- 32:27Speaker 1: to be for the next chapter of our journey. The
- 32:30Speaker 1: trials we face serve a purpose, even when we can't
- 32:33Speaker 1: immediately see it. They prepare us to rise again, stronger
- 32:38Speaker 1: and more equipped to fulfill the purpose that God has
- 32:43Speaker 1: set before us. Take for instance, the story of Joseph.
- 32:47Speaker 1: His life was marked by betrayal, abandonment, and hardship. Sold
- 32:51Speaker 1: into slavery by his own brothers, unjustly thrown into prison,
- 32:55Speaker 1: and left alone in dark moments, Joseph had every reason
- 32:58Speaker 1: to lose hope. Yet through it all, Joseph never lost
- 33:02Speaker 1: faith in God. He trusted that God had a plan
- 33:06Speaker 1: for his life, even when it seemed like everything was
- 33:08Speaker 1: falling apart. In the end, Joseph rose to a position
- 33:11Speaker 1: of great power where he was able to save countless
- 33:14Speaker 1: lives during a time of famine. His faith and hope
- 33:17Speaker 1: in God, even in the midst of suffering, not only
- 33:20Speaker 1: sustained him, but prepared him to fulfill his divine purpose. Similarly,
- 33:26Speaker 1: the apostle Paul, who faced persecution, imprisonment, and relentless hardship,
- 33:31Speaker 1: continued to press on in faith, always hopeful in the
- 33:34Speaker 1: promises of God. Despite the pain. He knew that the
- 33:38Speaker 1: trials he endured were not in vain. In Romans five
- 33:41Speaker 1: three oh four, Paul writes, not only that, but we
- 33:44Speaker 1: rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and
- 33:48Speaker 1: endurance produces character, and character produces hope. This is a
- 33:53Speaker 1: powerful reminder that every trial we face is an opportunity
- 33:56Speaker 1: for growth. Our faith and hope are refined through making
- 34:00Speaker 1: us more resilient, more compassionate, and more capable of fulfilling
- 34:04Speaker 1: the purpose God has for us. When we hold on
- 34:07Speaker 1: to faith and hope, we are being equipped for the future.
- 34:10Speaker 1: The trials we endure today may seem like setbacks, but
- 34:13Speaker 1: in reality, they are the very experiences that prepare us
- 34:16Speaker 1: for the greater purpose God has set before us. Our
- 34:20Speaker 1: struggles do not define us, but they shape us. They
- 34:24Speaker 1: teach us perseverance, humility, and trust. They refine our character
- 34:29Speaker 1: and increase our capacity to love and serve others. Through
- 34:33Speaker 1: it all, we can rest in the knowledge that God
- 34:35Speaker 1: is using every moment of our lives, every hardship, every trial,
- 34:39Speaker 1: and every joy to prepare us for the unique purpose
- 34:42Speaker 1: He has for us. Faith and hope are the tools
- 34:46Speaker 1: that help us navigate the journey, even when the path
- 34:49Speaker 1: is unclear. They remind us that God is with us,
- 34:53Speaker 1: that He is working all things together for our good,
- 34:56Speaker 1: and that his timing is perfect. We may not always
- 34:59Speaker 1: understand reasons for our struggles, but we can trust that
- 35:03Speaker 1: God is leading us towards something greater. So in those
- 35:08Speaker 1: moments when you feel isolated, when the weight of the
- 35:10Speaker 1: world seems too much to bear, hold on to faith
- 35:14Speaker 1: and hope. Trust that God is at work behind the scenes,
- 35:18Speaker 1: even when you can't see it. Keep moving forward, knowing
- 35:22Speaker 1: that He is preparing you for a greater purpose, a
- 35:25Speaker 1: purpose that will be revealed in his perfect timing. And
- 35:28Speaker 1: when the time comes for you to rise again, you
- 35:30Speaker 1: will find that you are stronger, wiser, and more equipped
- 35:34Speaker 1: to fulfill the calling God has placed on your life.
