- 0:00Speaker 1: What's up everyone and welcome to another episode of the
- 0:03Speaker 1: Epstein Chronicles. Now that election season is fully underway, I'm
- 0:07Speaker 1: not shocked to see that some of these candidates are
- 0:10Speaker 1: running Epstein-based ads. And out in Colorado, Jeff Crank, who
- 0:14Speaker 1: is the Republican incumbent, is now under fire after Virginia's family,
- 0:20Speaker 1: her brother and sister-in-law, appeared in a campaign ad for Mr.
- 0:25Speaker 1: Crank's opponent. And according to Virginia's family, Mr. Crank ignored
- 0:31Speaker 1: them and refused to meet with them. And now we're
- 0:34Speaker 1: not talking about somebody that is, you know, a thousand
- 0:37Speaker 1: miles away from their home. He's their representative. And according
- 0:42Speaker 1: to them, he refused to meet with them. And obviously,
- 0:45Speaker 1: we shouldn't be shocked by that, considering he's one of
- 0:47Speaker 1: Trump's guys. And the message to everybody has been clearly
- 0:51Speaker 1: sent that this is a no-go. This is not a
- 0:55Speaker 1: topic that Donald Trump wants his people being involved in.
- 1:00Speaker 1: but I told you that I was going to come
- 1:02Speaker 1: back to bite some of these members of the GOP,
- 1:05Speaker 1: and here we are. Today we have an article from
- 1:08Speaker 1: the Colorado Newsline and the headline, Representative Jeff Crank Refused
- 1:12Speaker 1: to Meet with Constituents Related to Epstein's Survivor, Family Says.
- 1:17Speaker 1: This article was authored by Lindsay Toomer. Family members of
- 1:22Speaker 1: one of the most prominent survivors to speak about late
- 1:25Speaker 1: convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein denounced U.S. Representative Jeff Crank
- 1:31Speaker 1: after he declined to meet with them. Like, imagine being
- 1:34Speaker 1: a sitting congressman or senator or whatever and a family
- 1:38Speaker 1: member of one of these girls wants to speak with
- 1:42Speaker 1: you and you just ignore them. In this sort of environment,
- 1:46Speaker 1: how could you possibly think that wasn't going to come
- 1:48Speaker 1: back to bite you? How could you possibly think in
- 1:52Speaker 1: this politically charged environment that there weren't going to be
- 1:55Speaker 1: campaign ads made tying you to Epstein? And it's crazy
- 1:59Speaker 1: that these folks don't understand. that this is a tabletop
- 2:02Speaker 1: issue now. This isn't some issue that's on the back
- 2:06Speaker 1: burner that people think about and then they're like, oh, well,
- 2:09Speaker 1: big deal. No, that's not what this is. And there's
- 2:12Speaker 1: a whole lot of people in the middle who have
- 2:15Speaker 1: had their fill of the bullshit. And I think that
- 2:17Speaker 1: we're going to see that reflected come election day here
- 2:20Speaker 1: in the midterms. Sky and Amanda Roberts, brother and sister-in-law
- 2:24Speaker 1: of Virginia, live in Colorado's 5th congressional district. They said
- 2:28Speaker 1: at a press conference on Monday in support of Crank's
- 2:31Speaker 1: Democratic challenger, Jessica Killen, that Crank, a Colorado Springs Republican,
- 2:36Speaker 1: repeatedly ignored their requests to discuss the Epstein files and
- 2:40Speaker 1: policy reform to support survivors of human trafficking and sexual abuse. Well,
- 2:45Speaker 1: he got his marching orders, right? It's all a big hoax.
- 2:49Speaker 1: That Epstein stuff, that's a big hoax, just like Russia.
- 2:52Speaker 1: I mean, did these dudes actually think that it wasn't
- 2:54Speaker 1: going to come back to bite them? I mean, it's
- 2:56Speaker 1: all fun and games until that bill comes due. Leadership
- 3:01Speaker 1: does not mean doing the right thing only after the
- 3:03Speaker 1: pressure becomes too much to ignore, Amanda said. Leadership means
- 3:07Speaker 1: standing up to what is hard when it's inconvenient, when
- 3:10Speaker 1: it carries political risk, and when survivors are still waiting
- 3:14Speaker 1: to be heard. The press conference came a day after
- 3:17Speaker 1: Killen's campaign released an ad that featured the Robert family
- 3:21Speaker 1: talking about their experience with Crank's office. And again, look,
- 3:25Speaker 1: he has nobody to blame but himself. The GOP should
- 3:29Speaker 1: do better. Their messaging has been horrible. They've unleashed the
- 3:33Speaker 1: dogs of war when it comes to Epstein and the story.
- 3:37Speaker 1: Attacking anybody who talks about it, calling it a hoax,
- 3:39Speaker 1: calling people, you know, haters of Donald Trump, the whole thing. Meanwhile,
- 3:45Speaker 1: you have real people who are affected by this shit,
- 3:47Speaker 1: who have looked for help, and who have been ignored
- 3:50Speaker 1: at every turn. And then you have this lady, Jessica Killen,
- 3:53Speaker 1: who's running for office. She says that she cares and
- 3:56Speaker 1: that she's going to do something to help out and
- 3:58Speaker 1: that she's going to do something different. So if you
- 4:00Speaker 1: were the family member of one of these girls, which
- 4:03Speaker 1: side of the aisle would you fall on? And when
- 4:06Speaker 1: you look at the independent voters that are watching this
- 4:09Speaker 1: all unfold, you have to think that a lot of
- 4:12Speaker 1: them are turned off by somebody like Crank ignoring the family.
- 4:20Speaker 1: Roberts died by suicide in April of 2025 in Australia,
- 4:23Speaker 1: where she had been living for several years. Roberts emerged
- 4:26Speaker 1: as one of the most prominent victims after she challenged
- 4:29Speaker 1: Epstein co-conspirator Ghislaine Maxwell and former British royal Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor,
- 4:35Speaker 1: alleging they participated in her trafficking and sexual abuse. Not
- 4:39Speaker 1: just challenged. Took Ghislaine Maxwell to court and won that shit. Okay?
- 4:46Speaker 1: Ghislaine Maxwell lost that civil suit. And in fact, she
- 4:50Speaker 1: committed perjury during it and was charged with perjury when
- 4:54Speaker 1: she was charged with all the other crimes. Now, they
- 4:56Speaker 1: dropped those perjury charges, obviously, to keep things a bit
- 4:59Speaker 1: tidy when it comes to sentencing in the trial. But
- 5:02Speaker 1: there's no doubt she was charged with perjury because she
- 5:05Speaker 1: lied during the deposition. So I think it's a little
- 5:09Speaker 1: bit more than just accused, okay? I think it's rather
- 5:13Speaker 1: obvious that Jeffrey Epstein and Glenn Maxwell abused Virginia for years.
- 5:20Speaker 1: Amanda said that Roberts' courage to speak about her experience
- 5:23Speaker 1: came at an enormous personal cost. Survivors live with the
- 5:26Speaker 1: results of elected leaders choosing to do nothing, Skye added.
- 5:30Speaker 1: Their family advocacy seeks to protect future victims and hold
- 5:34Speaker 1: perpetrators accountable. Well, to do that, we have to have
- 5:37Speaker 1: politicians that actually give a fuck. We have to have
- 5:41Speaker 1: politicians that aren't worried about what the party wants them
- 5:44Speaker 1: to do. How about you worry about your constituents? To
- 5:48Speaker 1: hell with the party. To hell with your echo chamber.
- 5:51Speaker 1: And who gives a shit? You got to do what's right.
- 5:54Speaker 1: But when it comes to these politicians, forget it. That's
- 5:57Speaker 1: not why these people run for office. It's all about
- 5:59Speaker 1: personal gain, personal benefit. Never about the community. Never about,
- 6:03Speaker 1: you know, me and you. It's about them. And I
- 6:07Speaker 1: think Congressman Crank certainly fits the bill. When we ask
- 6:13Speaker 1: Congressman Crank to stand with survivors, we're not asking for
- 6:16Speaker 1: a favor, Amanda said. We're asking for representation. We were
- 6:20Speaker 1: asking for leadership. We're asking him to listen to the
- 6:23Speaker 1: people he was elected to serve. Well, no, that's not
- 6:26Speaker 1: how it works. It's all about what the donors want.
- 6:29Speaker 1: It's all about what DC wants. It's all about what
- 6:31Speaker 1: Trump wants. And all these people are going to dance
- 6:34Speaker 1: to that tune because they're cowards. They don't want to
- 6:37Speaker 1: stand up and take the fire. They don't want to
- 6:40Speaker 1: be the guy that Donald Trump is tweeting about. How
- 6:44Speaker 1: am I going to win my election? Meanwhile, you have
- 6:48Speaker 1: constituents who have real concerns, real complaints, and whose sister
- 6:52Speaker 1: was victimized by these madmen. You would think that that
- 6:56Speaker 1: would be a priority. I mean, you would think that
- 6:58Speaker 1: Congressman Crank would put the grift on hold for a
- 7:00Speaker 1: minute and actually talk to them, even if he wasn't
- 7:03Speaker 1: going to do anything, but to outright ignore them? You
- 7:06Speaker 1: deserve everything you have coming towards you when it comes
- 7:09Speaker 1: to your opponent campaigning against you. The family met with
- 7:15Speaker 1: Crank's district staff in September 2025, and all messages they
- 7:18Speaker 1: sent after that received no answer, they said. Their request
- 7:22Speaker 1: for Crank's support came after they traveled to Washington, D.C.
- 7:25Speaker 1: to push for the Epstein Files Transparency Act. They also
- 7:29Speaker 1: told Crank's office that they met with U.S. Representative Lauren Boebert,
- 7:33Speaker 1: a Windsor Republican, to thank her for signing a discharge
- 7:36Speaker 1: petition to force a floor vote on the measure. And
- 7:39Speaker 1: that was a pretty courageous move on Ms. Boebert's part.
- 7:43Speaker 1: We see how it worked out for everybody else, but
- 7:45Speaker 1: she's still standing. And look, I understand that people don't
- 7:49Speaker 1: like her politics. I get it. But you have to
- 7:51Speaker 1: give her credit when it comes to this. Because if
- 7:54Speaker 1: she didn't sign that petition, then the discharge petition would
- 7:57Speaker 1: have been dead. So we have to give credit where
- 8:00Speaker 1: it's due. But as far as the overall performance by
- 8:02Speaker 1: the GOP, it's been absolutely terrible. After a year without
- 8:10Speaker 1: a response, Amanda on Monday shared a screenshot that showed
- 8:12Speaker 1: Dennis Heisey, Crank's district director, laughed with a ha-ha emoji
- 8:17Speaker 1: at one of her messages from September of 2025. Yeah,
- 8:20Speaker 1: because they all think it's a hoax. They won't come
- 8:22Speaker 1: out and say it, but that's how they feel. So
- 8:25Speaker 1: my advice is keep all of this in mind as
- 8:28Speaker 1: you head to the ballot box. And if you're in
- 8:30Speaker 1: this district, remember that Mr. Crank's district director thinks it's funny.
- 8:37Speaker 1: Crank did not sign the discharge petition earlier last year
- 8:39Speaker 1: to force a floor vote, but he voted in November
- 8:42Speaker 1: in support of the Epstein Files Transparency Act after President
- 8:46Speaker 1: Donald Trump urged Congress to pass a measure. Trump had
- 8:50Speaker 1: a well-documented relationship with Epstein. During his 2024 campaign, he
- 8:55Speaker 1: promised to release the Epstein Files, but supporters of the
- 8:58Speaker 1: president have criticized what they view as an incomplete process
- 9:02Speaker 1: of releasing the documents under Trump. Killen said Crank, did
- 9:06Speaker 1: not have the courage to do the right thing until
- 9:09Speaker 1: Trump gave Republicans the green light. And she's right about that.
- 9:13Speaker 1: All these Republicans that signed off on it when it
- 9:16Speaker 1: was safe to do, they don't get credit for that.
- 9:20Speaker 1: Credit goes to the four people that signed the discharge petition.
- 9:24Speaker 1: That's where the real credit goes. So Mr. Crank can
- 9:29Speaker 1: talk all the shit he wants and act like he
- 9:31Speaker 1: was on board, but he was not. He knows he
- 9:35Speaker 1: had multiple opportunities to release the files. That's been made clear.
- 9:39Speaker 1: There were multiple opportunities and multiple votes before, basically, the
- 9:43Speaker 1: administration's hand was forced, Killen said. That is a true
- 9:47Speaker 1: account of history. That's exactly what happened. There's no dispute here.
- 9:51Speaker 1: The GOP had its hand forced. Without that petition, none
- 9:56Speaker 1: of this is out. An unnamed campaign spokesperson for Crank
- 10:00Speaker 1: said in a statement that it's deeply unfortunate that Killen
- 10:04Speaker 1: is preying on a grieving family. Oh yeah, that's exactly
- 10:07Speaker 1: what's happening. What's really unfortunate is that Mr. Crank didn't
- 10:12Speaker 1: have time for that family and that the people on
- 10:15Speaker 1: your campaign thought it was funny and wanted to leave
- 10:18Speaker 1: emojis instead of actually replying to the comment. Congressman Crank
- 10:22Speaker 1: voted to release the Epstein files in the only up
- 10:24Speaker 1: or down vote on the floor of the House of Representatives,
- 10:27Speaker 1: the spokesperson said. The statements contained in this ad are
- 10:31Speaker 1: intentionally vague, and are purposefully so, because the fact pattern
- 10:35Speaker 1: does not support desperate lobbyist Jessica Killen's desired political attack. Well,
- 10:41Speaker 1: did you or did you not avoid voting for the
- 10:44Speaker 1: discharge petition? The answer is yes, you didn't do it, right?
- 10:48Speaker 1: So you only got on board when it was safe.
- 10:51Speaker 1: That's the message. That's what they're saying. And guess what?
- 10:54Speaker 1: Like it or not, it's true. Skye at the press
- 11:00Speaker 1: conference rejected the notion that Killen took advantage of his family.
- 11:03Speaker 1: He said that he still has not heard. Crank directly
- 11:06Speaker 1: acknowledged what his sister and other victims experienced. Jeff Crank
- 11:10Speaker 1: diminishing the fact that we chose to come forward is
- 11:12Speaker 1: an act against us, Skye said. When we came forward,
- 11:15Speaker 1: we came forward by choice, not by force. Amanda said
- 11:19Speaker 1: they chose to support Killen because she sat down to
- 11:22Speaker 1: have a human conversation and meet us where we are.
- 11:25Speaker 1: Too many politicians cover for Trump rather than delivering justice,
- 11:29Speaker 1: Killen said, and Crank's part of that problem. Other Republican
- 11:33Speaker 1: members of Congress met with Sky and Amanda, but Crank's
- 11:36Speaker 1: refusal to meet with his own constituents is a complete
- 11:39Speaker 1: abdication of his responsibilities. The election is November 3rd, and
- 11:44Speaker 1: I think that's really where my beef is. These are
- 11:47Speaker 1: his constituents... We're not talking about somebody who lives in,
- 11:51Speaker 1: I don't know, bumfuck Idaho, hitting this dude up and saying, hey,
- 11:54Speaker 1: I want to talk to you. These are people that
- 11:57Speaker 1: live in your district, bro. Your job, I know this
- 11:59Speaker 1: is going to be hard for you to hear, is
- 12:01Speaker 1: to listen to their concerns. And since you didn't want
- 12:04Speaker 1: to do that, somebody has swooped in and filled the gap.
- 12:09Speaker 1: And I have a funny feeling that Mr. Crank is
- 12:11Speaker 1: going to have a rough time come election day. So
- 12:13Speaker 1: we're going to keep an eye on this race and
- 12:15Speaker 1: we'll see if Mr. Crank's in action. comes back to
- 12:18Speaker 1: bite him. All the information that goes with this episode
- 12:22Speaker 1: can be found in the description box.
