- 0:00Speaker 1: What's going on, guys? It's another Monday Night, the Raw
- 0:03Speaker 1: after Backlash. You know. Raw tonight was in Knoxville, Tennessee,
- 0:10Speaker 1: and they were down about five thousand from what they
- 0:13Speaker 1: did in that very same building a year ago for SmackDown.
- 0:18Speaker 1: Now even five thousand down, they still had like nine
- 0:20Speaker 1: thousand people in the building, healthy crowd, but still five
- 0:24Speaker 1: thousand down from where they were a year ago. They
- 0:27Speaker 1: may as well have had nobody in the building for
- 0:30Speaker 1: much of the show, because it sounded like they were
- 0:32Speaker 1: wrestling in an empty warehouse for most of it. But
- 0:36Speaker 1: you know, one thing I noticed tonight there was one
- 0:39Speaker 1: person in particular missing from this show, and it didn't
- 0:43Speaker 1: really hit me until tonight how much of a nosedive
- 0:46Speaker 1: this show has taken since he has disappeared, and that
- 0:49Speaker 1: is Cmpunk. There's been no cm Punk over the last
- 0:53Speaker 1: at least two weeks, maybe three, I think two weeks,
- 0:58Speaker 1: and his presence is missed on this show. I don't
- 1:02Speaker 1: know if we're gonna see him on Raw again. I
- 1:03Speaker 1: still feel like when we do see him again, he'll
- 1:05Speaker 1: end up on SmackDown. But man, this what a slog
- 1:13Speaker 1: this show was to sit through, especially the first half.
- 1:16Speaker 1: There was more that I liked in the second half
- 1:18Speaker 1: than the first half, But like the first ninety minutes
- 1:21Speaker 1: or so of this show, men so boring, just so boring,
- 1:25Speaker 1: And look, the quiet crowd didn't help. But at the
- 1:28Speaker 1: same time, there were a number of things on this
- 1:31Speaker 1: show I don't necessarily fault them for. And then there
- 1:34Speaker 1: were a few other things where I wish they were
- 1:36Speaker 1: more excitable than they were and they weren't, and it
- 1:39Speaker 1: just sounded like we were watching ron A Library, And
- 1:42Speaker 1: you know, that doesn't help, but I can't blame them
- 1:45Speaker 1: too much. I'll tell you what also doesn't help. We
- 1:49Speaker 1: did not have a single women's championship match of Backlafe,
- 1:53Speaker 1: one of those titles being the Women's World Heavyweight Championship.
- 1:56Speaker 1: Now Stephanie viccres out with the legitimate injury, and we
- 1:59Speaker 1: don't know when she's going to be back. It's going
- 2:00Speaker 1: to be at least six weeks, and so I'm sure
- 2:03Speaker 1: we would have ended up with a rematch between Stephanie
- 2:06Speaker 1: and Live. So we didn't get that. I am looking
- 2:11Speaker 1: at the show, and I am looking at the roster
- 2:13Speaker 1: right now where everybody seems to be slotted, and I
- 2:15Speaker 1: don't see there being any challenger on deck for the
- 2:20Speaker 1: women's world title. Liv Morgan has no challenger. I mean,
- 2:24Speaker 1: think about it. Osca is gone for how long is
- 2:28Speaker 1: it permanent? We don't know. They said on Raw tonight
- 2:31Speaker 1: that her status is up in the air. We'll talk
- 2:32Speaker 1: about her because she was on the show tonight, but
- 2:35Speaker 1: for the time being, Osca is gone. She's out of
- 2:37Speaker 1: the picture. EO. Sky was on the show. She didn't
- 2:40Speaker 1: seem terribly uh, you know, bothered by the fact that hey,
- 2:45Speaker 1: maybe I should go after the Women's World championship. They
- 2:47Speaker 1: had her in a random match tonight with soul Ruka,
- 2:50Speaker 1: who is clearly going to be going after Becky Lynch
- 2:53Speaker 1: and the Intercontinental title. So they're going to go off
- 2:56Speaker 1: and do that. And then Raquel and rock San and
- 2:59Speaker 1: Bailey and Live were and all the other women of
- 3:01Speaker 1: Raw are basically obsessed over the tag team titles, which
- 3:04Speaker 1: don't mean anything. And so I'm looking at this and
- 3:07Speaker 1: I'm like, they have nobody. Live Morgan is without a challenger,
- 3:14Speaker 1: and that's not very exciting either. I don't know what happened.
- 3:18Speaker 1: I felt like the Raw women's division was kind of
- 3:21Speaker 1: in a pretty strong position there and not to say
- 3:24Speaker 1: the entire division isn't, but as far as the top
- 3:27Speaker 1: of the card, it just seems very barren right now,
- 3:29Speaker 1: and they're gonna have to work on that. They're gonna
- 3:31Speaker 1: have to do something to fix that, because I don't
- 3:33Speaker 1: know what they're gonna do. They certainly didn't hint at
- 3:36Speaker 1: anything tonight as far as Live Morgan is concerned. Maybe
- 3:39Speaker 1: it will be EO only because by process of elimination,
- 3:42Speaker 1: I'm not sure where EO goes from here. Rhea is
- 3:46Speaker 1: over on SmackDown, Kyrie is gone, Oscar's gone. What's left
- 3:51Speaker 1: for EO to do other than challenge Live Morgan for
- 3:55Speaker 1: the World Championship. But the show tonight was built around
- 4:00Speaker 1: an acknowledgment ceremony. Roman Reigns wanted Jacob Fatu to acknowledge him.
- 4:08Speaker 1: Adam Pierce wanted to fire him. Romantag can't fire him,
- 4:12Speaker 1: can do anything like that until this man acknowledges me.
- 4:14Speaker 1: It was in the contract. It was stipulated in the
- 4:18Speaker 1: contract that he sung, and he must acknowledge me if
- 4:21Speaker 1: I beat him. So the entire show was built around this.
- 4:25Speaker 1: As it turned out, Jacob Fatu did not acknowledge Roman reigns.
- 4:29Speaker 1: In fact, he just beat the shit out of him
- 4:31Speaker 1: and the USOS, which was the best part of the
- 4:33Speaker 1: entire show, and I was happy to see it, and
- 4:36Speaker 1: that puts to bed for now. Anyway, any idea that
- 4:40Speaker 1: the USOS in jacob fa Tu, maybe they're in cahoots, right,
- 4:45Speaker 1: maybe they're like this, That doesn't appear to be the case,
- 4:49Speaker 1: and we are no doubt going to see Roman reigns
- 4:52Speaker 1: in jacob fa Tu yet again for the World Heavyweight
- 4:54Speaker 1: title in Italy. In fact, we may not see Roman
- 4:57Speaker 1: reigns again until we get to Italy at the end
- 4:59Speaker 1: of the month. I mentioned Eoski and Saul Ruka. They
- 5:03Speaker 1: had a match tonight. I enjoyed it. Nothing blow away,
- 5:06Speaker 1: but I thought they had a good match. We have
- 5:09Speaker 1: the first ever Tripa a Mega Championship defense on Raw,
- 5:14Speaker 1: which ended the way that every other Judgment Day match
- 5:17Speaker 1: always ends. But it was a historic night because it
- 5:20Speaker 1: was the first time that that title was being defended
- 5:23Speaker 1: on this show. We had week two of the Oba
- 5:27Speaker 1: Femi Open Challenge. I feel like I was one of
- 5:32Speaker 1: maybe a few the few people defending this idea when
- 5:39Speaker 1: it was first mentioned on the show. A couple weeks ago,
- 5:44Speaker 1: and even the match with Otis last week I thought
- 5:46Speaker 1: was fun for the two minutes it lasted. And now
- 5:49Speaker 1: we get to this week and it already feels like
- 5:51Speaker 1: this thing is just completely running out of steam. And
- 5:55Speaker 1: we're only two weeks in. Even just to get tonight
- 5:59Speaker 1: of Champion, if they were to do a King of
- 6:01Speaker 1: the Ring tournament again, if just to get to the
- 6:03Speaker 1: end of June, continuing to do these open challenges at
- 6:07Speaker 1: least for another six weeks or so, I don't know
- 6:09Speaker 1: how they do it. I don't know how they get there.
- 6:15Speaker 1: We're already at the point two weeks in where nobody
- 6:17Speaker 1: wants to accept the open challenge, So we put Angel
- 6:20Speaker 1: and Birdo on the show in the back, just so
- 6:22Speaker 1: they could be the sacrificial lambs, the lambs being led
- 6:26Speaker 1: to slaughter and Opa Femi can toss around los Garza.
- 6:31Speaker 1: Very exciting. I kind of feel like a dope for
- 6:36Speaker 1: defending this idea, if this is what they had up
- 6:39Speaker 1: their sleeve. We made a couple of matches made for
- 6:44Speaker 1: Saturday Nights Made event which is coming up a week
- 6:46Speaker 1: from Saturday. Two title matches. I will tell you what
- 6:50Speaker 1: those matches are. Boy, you know I post one sarcastic tweet,
- 6:57Speaker 1: and it was early in the show, because again, the
- 6:58Speaker 1: first hour was fucking I don't give a shit what
- 7:02Speaker 1: anybody says. Man that was this show was fucking boring.
- 7:06Speaker 1: I post one sarcastic tweet, and you should see some
- 7:10Speaker 1: of the comments I got. Most were in agreement, but
- 7:13Speaker 1: you should see you would think I committed a felony
- 7:19Speaker 1: by hinting at the fact that Raw was a boring
- 7:22Speaker 1: show tonight. It's unbelievable. It is unbelievable. The cultists online.
- 7:31Speaker 1: It's scary, very scary, not a scary at SmackDown, but
- 7:37Speaker 1: still very scary. This is your Raw review. It is
- 7:42Speaker 1: Monday night, May eleven, twenty twenty six. I am the
- 7:47Speaker 1: Sola Monster. Thank you for hanging out with me here
- 7:49Speaker 1: on a Monday night, never boring, never boring with you. Guys.
- 7:54Speaker 1: Hit that subscribe button, Hit that like button. Super chats
- 7:57Speaker 1: are open. I will be reading all of your message
- 8:00Speaker 1: if they come in, as they come in later on
- 8:03Speaker 1: here in the stream. Let's spin for it right now.
- 8:06Speaker 1: We're gonna find out how many likes we need to
- 8:08Speaker 1: do our be the Booker segment bots. Now you know
- 8:14Speaker 1: what some of them. Some of them might be bots,
- 8:16Speaker 1: but they're not bots. Some of them are not bots.
- 8:20Speaker 1: They may have rocks for brains, but they're not bots.
- 8:25Speaker 1: Five point fifteen. That is the goal here, five hundred
- 8:29Speaker 1: and fifteen likes. We have a ways to go to
- 8:32Speaker 1: get there, but if we hit five point fifteen, we
- 8:35Speaker 1: will be doing be The booker just did it the
- 8:39Speaker 1: other night, book some very interesting matches the other night.
- 8:44Speaker 1: All right, let's get into this show here. This was large.
- 8:47Speaker 1: We'll be a very boring show. I don't really want
- 8:50Speaker 1: to waste too much of your time on it. WWE
- 8:56Speaker 1: television not exactly the most exciting thing right now to
- 8:59Speaker 1: sit through. But we had an suv show up outside
- 9:04Speaker 1: the building to kick things off here at the very beginning,
- 9:06Speaker 1: and the world heavyweight champion without his belt, Roman Reigns emerges.
- 9:12Speaker 1: Adam Pierce was there to greet him, and he said that, look,
- 9:15Speaker 1: he wasn't sure Jacob Fatu even deserved to be here tonight.
- 9:20Speaker 1: He wasn't sure Jacob Fotu deserved to be here at
- 9:22Speaker 1: all anymore. Jacob Fatu put his hands on Adam Pierce
- 9:26Speaker 1: at backlash, threw him out of the ring. Roman said
- 9:31Speaker 1: that you can't fire him because he hasn't acknowledged me yet.
- 9:37Speaker 1: And then he demanded to know where is my World
- 9:38Speaker 1: Heavyweight Championship And a stage hand came in and handed
- 9:43Speaker 1: the belt over to him, and he said he's the
- 9:46Speaker 1: one who cleared Fa Twu to come into this company
- 9:48Speaker 1: and he'll be the one to take him out. So
- 9:51Speaker 1: that set the stage for what would come later on
- 9:53Speaker 1: tonight in the main event. This was the story thread.
- 9:57Speaker 1: We had multiple segments on this show in the back
- 9:59Speaker 1: with the usso in Roman, it was all building to
- 10:01Speaker 1: Jacob's eventual arrival. Remember the way Backlash ended on Saturday,
- 10:05Speaker 1: Jacob Fatu lost, but then he kept putting the tongue
- 10:09Speaker 1: in death grip on Roman, and Jacob Fatu is the
- 10:12Speaker 1: one who was left standing tall with the title at
- 10:14Speaker 1: the end of Backlash. So they really took their time.
- 10:19Speaker 1: They wanted you to just tune in to see, Okay,
- 10:21Speaker 1: is this guy gonna show up? And if he does,
- 10:23Speaker 1: what mood is he gonna be in? Is he going
- 10:25Speaker 1: to be a wild man? That was the whole point
- 10:26Speaker 1: of what they did on Saturday was to really establish
- 10:29Speaker 1: him as this unstoppable, unpredictable beast and you don't know
- 10:35Speaker 1: what this guy is gonna do. Yo. He should do.
- 10:38Speaker 1: He should come out and accept the Obafemi Open Challenge.
- 10:42Speaker 1: It'd be a hell of a lot better than los Garza.
- 10:48Speaker 1: So we had the vision Logan, Paul Austin, Theory, bron Breaker,
- 10:53Speaker 1: and Paul Hayman out to the ring. Hayman welcomed us
- 10:57Speaker 1: to the show and he said that we were coming
- 11:00Speaker 1: here tonight from the inbred capital of eastern Tennessee. Is
- 11:04Speaker 1: that why it was so quiet? I guess that would
- 11:08Speaker 1: explain it. And he crowed about bron Breaker beating Seth
- 11:13Speaker 1: Rollins in backlash, and he said, there will never be
- 11:15Speaker 1: another reason for us to even acknowledge Seth Rollins again.
- 11:18Speaker 1: So we're not even going to talk about him. So
- 11:20Speaker 1: he turned to focus on the World Tag Team Champions,
- 11:24Speaker 1: gave the mic to Theory. Theory complained about the Street
- 11:27Speaker 1: Profits and he said montes Ford and Angelo Dawkins they
- 11:30Speaker 1: need the tag team titles because Bionca bell Air can't
- 11:33Speaker 1: pay the bills anymore, cannot pay the bills, she's at
- 11:39Speaker 1: home having a baby. So once the Street Profits, of
- 11:45Speaker 1: course came out to rebut this, montes Ford said that
- 11:49Speaker 1: Theory was right. Beyonca can't pay the bills right now.
- 11:53Speaker 1: She's busy with the baby. Somebody had to come to
- 11:56Speaker 1: RAW and kick their asses all over Tennessee. Actually, I
- 12:00Speaker 1: want to say, Bianca is from Knoxville, so normally she
- 12:04Speaker 1: would make it appearance on a show like this. I
- 12:08Speaker 1: believe she is. I believe she is in Knoxville, and
- 12:10Speaker 1: I know it's Tennessee, but I think specifically she's from Knoxville.
- 12:15Speaker 1: Maybe she was there, maybe she was backstage. So Montes
- 12:19Speaker 1: said that they came back to WWE to win the
- 12:23Speaker 1: tag team titles. Logan said the only thing Ford has
- 12:25Speaker 1: done in the last six months is organized a baby shower,
- 12:29Speaker 1: and he asked if Ford's balls were in the Red
- 12:31Speaker 1: Solo Cup. All of a sudden, Joe Hendry appears at ringside,
- 12:37Speaker 1: just out of nowhere. He's got his guitar. They've already
- 12:40Speaker 1: they've turned it into a punchline already. Every week he
- 12:42Speaker 1: just he appears with his guitar and he's just singing songs.
- 12:45Speaker 1: So he's singing the can we Fire Logan Paul's song
- 12:49Speaker 1: over and over and over, getting the fans and then
- 12:52Speaker 1: to do the same thing, and they start singing the song,
- 12:54Speaker 1: and then all of a sudden, they go to commercial.
- 12:57Speaker 1: They just cut to commercial, and when they came back,
- 13:02Speaker 1: we had a six man tag team match already in progress.
- 13:06Speaker 1: Not a lot going on here until after another commercial break,
- 13:10Speaker 1: when Hendry made the tag to montese Ford. He ended
- 13:14Speaker 1: up wiping out bron Breaker with a dive out of
- 13:16Speaker 1: the ring. Dawkins tagged in Theory put him in the
- 13:20Speaker 1: electric chair position, and uh Or Theory was put in
- 13:25Speaker 1: the electric chair position. So Montes goes up top, Logan
- 13:28Speaker 1: knocks him to the floor and Joe Hendry he's still there.
- 13:31Speaker 1: He ends up getting sent into the steps by Logan.
- 13:35Speaker 1: Theory distracts the referee so that Breaker can go for
- 13:38Speaker 1: the running spear, but he's rounding the bend and as
- 13:43Speaker 1: he comes around outside the ring there's Seth Rollins, and
- 13:47Speaker 1: Rollins greets him with a clothesline, knocks him down. The
- 13:49Speaker 1: referee saw this. There's no way the referee didn't see this,
- 13:52Speaker 1: and I don't care if he's legal or not. Bron
- 13:55Speaker 1: Breaker is a part of this match, Seth Rollins is not.
- 13:58Speaker 1: Somehow this was not a discoaqualification. Not quite sure how,
- 14:03Speaker 1: but it was not and in the ring, Dawkins roll
- 14:06Speaker 1: Theory up for the win. So after the match was over,
- 14:10Speaker 1: Theory attack Dawkins. Rollin's though dump Theory out of the ring.
- 14:14Speaker 1: He helped Dawkins to his feet, and here comes bron Breaker,
- 14:18Speaker 1: who's setting up for a spear. As Breaker comes in
- 14:21Speaker 1: for the spear, Rollins moves out of the way and
- 14:25Speaker 1: Dawkins eats the spear. Rolin super kicks Breaker out of
- 14:28Speaker 1: the ring. Montes Ford looks over, he sees his partner
- 14:31Speaker 1: is down. He is not very happy with Seth Rollins
- 14:34Speaker 1: about this, and he gets up in Set's face. He's
- 14:36Speaker 1: telling him, stay out of our way, stay out of
- 14:38Speaker 1: our way. Honestly, if you watch that part back, it
- 14:44Speaker 1: kind of looked like Rollin's put Dawkins in harm's way.
- 14:47Speaker 1: And I know that's not what the intent was, and
- 14:50Speaker 1: they didn't draw any attention to it, but if you
- 14:53Speaker 1: go back and you look, it kind of looked like
- 14:56Speaker 1: he put him in harm's way with the spear. So
- 14:59Speaker 1: montes Ford had every reason to be upset with Seth
- 15:01Speaker 1: Rollins about that. These two have been beefing for a
- 15:05Speaker 1: few weeks now, really ever since the street profits came
- 15:08Speaker 1: back I'm looking forward to the eventual singles match. I
- 15:11Speaker 1: won a singles match between Montese Ford and Seth Rawlins.
- 15:14Speaker 1: Hopefully we'll get that on TV one of these weeks.
- 15:18Speaker 1: But they did make it official later in the show.
- 15:20Speaker 1: At Saturday Night's main event on the twenty third, the
- 15:23Speaker 1: Street Profits will challenge Logan Paul Austin Theory for the
- 15:27Speaker 1: tag team titles. They will not win the tag team titles,
- 15:31Speaker 1: but they will be challenging for the titles on that show.
- 15:34Speaker 1: That is one of two championship matches that have been
- 15:37Speaker 1: added to that show. Yes, we are still doing Seth
- 15:41Speaker 1: and the Vision and will you will take it and
- 15:43Speaker 1: you will like it? Hey, look, I mean we had
- 15:50Speaker 1: to move on from La Night in the Vision, so
- 15:52Speaker 1: now it's Seth's turn. The only thing that delayed it
- 15:55Speaker 1: was Seth's injury. Now he's back. Now he gets the
- 15:57Speaker 1: feud with the Vision for six months. We go backstage.
- 16:03Speaker 1: Adam Pierce met with the og El Grande Americano along
- 16:07Speaker 1: with Julio and Bruto Creed, who act like they don't
- 16:14Speaker 1: know how to speak English. Live Morgan and Dominic Mysterio
- 16:18Speaker 1: Interrupted Live said that Don was overdue for a title opportunity.
- 16:23Speaker 1: Gable didn't appreciate being interrupted. Dom said that El Grande
- 16:27Speaker 1: wasn't even a real lutrador, and Pierce decided, you know
- 16:30Speaker 1: what I'm going to do. I'm gonna book a title
- 16:33Speaker 1: match tonight, and he booked Dominic Mysterio to defend for
- 16:38Speaker 1: the first time ever on Raw to defend the Triple
- 16:41Speaker 1: A Mega Championship against El Grande Americano. And then as
- 16:48Speaker 1: Pierce was walking away, Angel Mberto standing there. They want
- 16:53Speaker 1: to talk to him. They want to talk to him
- 16:54Speaker 1: about an opportunity. Oh, they would get their opportunity all right,
- 16:59Speaker 1: later in the show, they would get their opportunity to
- 17:00Speaker 1: get their asses handed to them. We had the interconfidential
- 17:06Speaker 1: Champion Penta. He was out to the ring next for
- 17:10Speaker 1: a promo last week. He heard somebody talking about his
- 17:14Speaker 1: championship and he tells Ethan Page, I'm a fighting champion.
- 17:19Speaker 1: He invited him to come out out to the ring
- 17:20Speaker 1: say it to my face. So out to the ring
- 17:24Speaker 1: comes all Ego and he questioned Penta painting up his chin,
- 17:31Speaker 1: wearing a mask every single week to cover up his face.
- 17:34Speaker 1: Ethan stands in the spotlight with no mask, says, I'm
- 17:39Speaker 1: all ego. I'm a fighting, fighting superstar. I show my face,
- 17:43Speaker 1: I let everybody know who I am. So Penta tells Ethan, look,
- 17:48Speaker 1: I'm a fighting champion, and uh, basically, Penta will will
- 17:53Speaker 1: defend his title and fight him, fight him tonight. We'll
- 17:56Speaker 1: do it right here in Knoxville, Tennessee. Because pages going
- 18:00Speaker 1: going on and on about how I'm the man who
- 18:01Speaker 1: pinned the intercontinental champion and I'm from the greatest country
- 18:06Speaker 1: on Earth, Canada. She's got booed here in Knoxville. So anyway,
- 18:12Speaker 1: he's basically saying, I pined you. I should be the
- 18:14Speaker 1: number one contender. Pentther was ready to fight him. Now.
- 18:18Speaker 1: Ethan says, hold on a second, pump the brakes. That
- 18:22Speaker 1: title is a token of excellence. Every megastar in the
- 18:25Speaker 1: history of WWE has held it. He goes, he is
- 18:27Speaker 1: the next megastar, and that title deserves to be defended
- 18:31Speaker 1: on the biggest stage. Two weeks from from now, a
- 18:35Speaker 1: week from Saturday, basically Saturday Night's main event. I didn't
- 18:39Speaker 1: know that Saturday Night's main event on Peacock was the
- 18:41Speaker 1: biggest stage, but evidently it is. Fuck everybody in Italy,
- 18:46Speaker 1: I guess, And so we're gonna get a championship match
- 18:50Speaker 1: on Saturday Night's main event with Ethan Page challenging Penta
- 18:54Speaker 1: for the IC title. But we weren't done yet because
- 18:57Speaker 1: Russev comes out and he says, Ethan, you amuse me,
- 19:01Speaker 1: but you getting a title shot before me. That doesn't
- 19:03Speaker 1: sit well with me because it was I who bounced
- 19:07Speaker 1: pent his head off the steps which led to the
- 19:09Speaker 1: pinfall in that match. Ethan says, you know what, I
- 19:12Speaker 1: agree with everything that you're saying. That's exactly what I
- 19:15Speaker 1: told Adam Pierce. I just came from his office earlier.
- 19:17Speaker 1: We had a whole conversation and I had him this
- 19:20Speaker 1: much I was it was almost convinced, but then Javon
- 19:23Speaker 1: barged in and Javon was going off about Russev getting
- 19:26Speaker 1: a title shot. I can beat that guy and going
- 19:30Speaker 1: on and on and on about this. How are you
- 19:32Speaker 1: gonna give Rusev a title match when he can't even
- 19:34Speaker 1: beat me? Said Jevon. Evans comes out, and I don't
- 19:39Speaker 1: know if this is going to be part of his
- 19:40Speaker 1: gimmick every week going forward. I hope not. He comes
- 19:45Speaker 1: out and he goes whoa, whoa, and dude, I'm not
- 19:47Speaker 1: going to recreate it. I'm not gonna do it. I'm
- 19:50Speaker 1: not gonna make your ears bleed. He probably said whoa
- 19:53Speaker 1: about thirty eight times. I guess this was supposed to
- 19:56Speaker 1: be funny. I maybe I missed the punchline. Here was
- 19:58Speaker 1: fucking annoying? Is what a? What? Don't ever do that again? Please?
- 20:02Speaker 1: So he comes down to the ring and Evans calls
- 20:05Speaker 1: Ethan a liar. He didn't say anything to Ethan, he
- 20:10Speaker 1: didn't say anything to Adam Pierce. All ego is making
- 20:15Speaker 1: all of that shit up. He never said that Rusev
- 20:18Speaker 1: couldn't beat him, even though it's true. So Page attacks
- 20:22Speaker 1: Evans from behind. Things break down at this point. Penta
- 20:25Speaker 1: ended up diving out onto Page, Javon dove out onto Russev.
- 20:29Speaker 1: Then they got in the ring and Javon and Penta
- 20:31Speaker 1: did the Penta strut. The one thing they got to
- 20:34Speaker 1: pop here in this segment outside of the strut that
- 20:39Speaker 1: was I mean, really, that was the only moment where
- 20:41Speaker 1: the fans kind of came alive here. They were silent
- 20:45Speaker 1: for all of this. I also thought this dragged on
- 20:47Speaker 1: for way too long. Ethan Page is a very good promo,
- 20:52Speaker 1: but this just it just dragged and it dragged and
- 20:56Speaker 1: it dragged, and I'm like, come on, can we can
- 21:00Speaker 1: we end this? But it led to Adam Pierce during
- 21:04Speaker 1: the commercial break, coming out of making a match between
- 21:08Speaker 1: Rusev and Javan Evans. Because Russev was on his way out,
- 21:10Speaker 1: he told russef you better get back to the ring
- 21:13Speaker 1: because you're wrestling Javon right now. So we came back
- 21:16Speaker 1: from break, we joined this match already in progress. Russev
- 21:20Speaker 1: got Evans on top for a superplex. Evans made a comeback,
- 21:25Speaker 1: He landed a whisper in the wind. Russev went outside.
- 21:28Speaker 1: Evans went for a dive. Russev cut him off, and
- 21:31Speaker 1: he had a fallaway slam onto the announced desk. Heading
- 21:33Speaker 1: into a commercial. Later on, Evans went for the og cutter. Russev, though,
- 21:37Speaker 1: dropped him with a urinagi and then he hit the
- 21:40Speaker 1: Machka kick for a two. Evans ended up getting the
- 21:43Speaker 1: wind though in the end with the og cutter, which
- 21:45Speaker 1: was always going to be the ending here. If Rusev
- 21:48Speaker 1: is in a singles match, I was gonna say nine
- 21:52Speaker 1: times out of ten, but realistically ten times out of
- 21:56Speaker 1: ten to lose the match, and so this was no different.
- 22:04Speaker 1: Now this only went seven minutes. I could have sworn
- 22:08Speaker 1: this match went longer. It was one of those matches
- 22:11Speaker 1: that felt longer than it really was. Wasn't very interesting.
- 22:15Speaker 1: I mean, honestly, as Javon Evans matches go, I always
- 22:18Speaker 1: have fun watching Javon as Javon Evans matches go, this
- 22:22Speaker 1: was the most boring I've ever seen. I'm sorry this
- 22:26Speaker 1: was a bore. We got a video package for the
- 22:29Speaker 1: TRIPAA Mega Championship, the premier title in Luca Leebrace since
- 22:33Speaker 1: two thousand and seven, with only fourteen men having held
- 22:38Speaker 1: that title. Backstage Osca she lives, she approached Eo Sky.
- 22:46Speaker 1: She gave her a big hug. She said she was
- 22:48Speaker 1: looking for someone to take her position, and she found
- 22:51Speaker 1: that person in Eo. And look, I understand that EO
- 22:54Speaker 1: beat OSCA, but it's just hilarious to me. A week ago,
- 23:00Speaker 1: a week ago, Eo Sky was Osca's biggest failure. A
- 23:07Speaker 1: week later, she's hugging her, she's kissing her, she's excited,
- 23:12Speaker 1: all smiles. I finally found the person to replace me,
- 23:17Speaker 1: take my position. Boy, a lot can change in a week.
- 23:23Speaker 1: It's an incredible turnaround. Eo said, we will always be family,
- 23:29Speaker 1: even if we fight, and then she said goodbye, Oscar son,
- 23:35Speaker 1: and the two of them hugged again. Oscar kissed her
- 23:37Speaker 1: on the forehead and she rolled out of the arena
- 23:40Speaker 1: with her luggage, and that was the last that we
- 23:42Speaker 1: saw of Oscar. And then it was later on in
- 23:44Speaker 1: the show that Michael Cole said that Oscar's future in
- 23:46Speaker 1: WWE is up in the air. So the update on
- 23:50Speaker 1: Oscar tonight that they promised to give us was no
- 23:52Speaker 1: update at all. Even they don't know now. I don't
- 23:57Speaker 1: know what the situation with. There's a lot of people
- 24:01Speaker 1: speculating that maybe she also got hit by these TKO
- 24:06Speaker 1: restructuring offers and maybe she opted to leave. That's all conjectured.
- 24:12Speaker 1: I've seen nothing reported about her being swept up and
- 24:15Speaker 1: all that. I can't say it didn't happen. But until
- 24:18Speaker 1: I hear that from a reputable source, I'm going to
- 24:20Speaker 1: assume that's not the case. Is it a case where
- 24:23Speaker 1: Osca is done? We're never going to see her in
- 24:25Speaker 1: the ring again? Probably not. Meltzer the other day said
- 24:29Speaker 1: he was told that she's semi retired, even he didn't
- 24:31Speaker 1: know what that meant. I hear semi retired. I hear
- 24:35Speaker 1: that as Okay, this person is not going to be
- 24:37Speaker 1: full time anymore. Maybe she wants to go back to
- 24:39Speaker 1: Japan apparently, I mean, people seem to think that's where
- 24:42Speaker 1: she's headed. She may be headed back home to Japan,
- 24:46Speaker 1: but that we haven't seen the last of her. We're
- 24:48Speaker 1: just not going to see her as often. She's kind
- 24:51Speaker 1: of winding down or scaling back her schedule, and that
- 24:55Speaker 1: seems a little more realistic to me, But the reality is,
- 24:58Speaker 1: we just don't know for sure. I hope we get
- 25:00Speaker 1: to see more of her in the ring. I hope
- 25:02Speaker 1: this isn't the end. If it was the end, I
- 25:04Speaker 1: would certainly hope that she gets more fanfare than she
- 25:07Speaker 1: was given. But for the time being, she got to
- 25:10Speaker 1: go out with a really good match with EO Sky.
- 25:13Speaker 1: It did not get the ending that a lot of
- 25:16Speaker 1: us were hoping it would get, which sucks. We knew
- 25:20Speaker 1: that going in it was not going to get a
- 25:21Speaker 1: proper ending to the story. But Osca is fantastic. Oscar
- 25:26Speaker 1: is great. Even in recent years, she's had some injuries,
- 25:29Speaker 1: she's been phased down in many ways. She missed a
- 25:32Speaker 1: lot of time actually due to I think it was
- 25:34Speaker 1: a knee injury. I'm not even sure she's fully over
- 25:37Speaker 1: the knee injury, to be honest with you. But the
- 25:41Speaker 1: run that she's had in WWE, I'll tell you what
- 25:44Speaker 1: the biggest sin is. The biggest sin about her run
- 25:47Speaker 1: in WWE if it really is over, or at least
- 25:50Speaker 1: her full time run is over. For all the championships
- 25:55Speaker 1: and the accolades, right and the great matches that this
- 25:57Speaker 1: woman has had. I think she's zero for six at WrestleMania.
- 26:03Speaker 1: Has never won a match at WrestleMania. That's crazy. I
- 26:10Speaker 1: think even even Sasha ended up winning at least one.
- 26:13Speaker 1: Didn't Sasha and Naomi win a tag team match at WrestleMania,
- 26:17Speaker 1: Because I know Sasha Banks for a while had like
- 26:19Speaker 1: a reverse Undertaker street going at WrestleMania, But I'm pretty
- 26:22Speaker 1: sure before she left she actually did win a match.
- 26:27Speaker 1: Osca has never won a match at WrestleMania's and she's
- 26:29Speaker 1: had at least what five or six matches. That's just
- 26:33Speaker 1: wild to me. She should have won the first one
- 26:36Speaker 1: against Charlotte. That's a whole other story. The women's tag
- 26:45Speaker 1: team champions Bribella and Page were out to the Ring
- 26:49Speaker 1: for a promo. Neither did Lawler. Actually, well I guess
- 27:00Speaker 1: he lost to Michael Cole. Yeah, but so what who
- 27:04Speaker 1: cares about that? He was mostly a commentator for Wrestlemanny anyway,
- 27:14Speaker 1: So anyway, Bribella and Page they talked about Raquel Rodriguez
- 27:18Speaker 1: and Roxanne Perez last week, calling them out for a fight,
- 27:21Speaker 1: so here we are. That brought out Raquel and Roxanne.
- 27:25Speaker 1: They were glad that they were able to take a
- 27:27Speaker 1: break from their nostalgia tour, and Roxanne said that she
- 27:31Speaker 1: used to watch them on TV when they were still
- 27:33Speaker 1: young and relevant. So when Roxanne met Brie as a
- 27:37Speaker 1: little girl, Brie told her that she was going to
- 27:39Speaker 1: carry on the Bella legacy, and then she realized, how
- 27:44Speaker 1: dare you set the bar so low? Brie said that
- 27:48Speaker 1: she wanted her to start her own legacy, not to
- 27:50Speaker 1: be a footnote for the judgment. Actually she called it
- 27:53Speaker 1: the judgments stay Apparently there's multiple ones, and she said,
- 28:00Speaker 1: there's only one person more disappointed in you, Roxanne, than
- 28:03Speaker 1: I am, and that's your mom. So Raquel held Roxan
- 28:08Speaker 1: back and she turned her attention to the Comeback Girl page.
- 28:13Speaker 1: The girl who's been given a million chances and has
- 28:15Speaker 1: managed to fumble every single one of them. She's just
- 28:18Speaker 1: waiting for the next scandal, so why not just hand
- 28:21Speaker 1: the belts over to us? So Page and Brie attacked
- 28:24Speaker 1: them live. Morgan suddenly hit the ring and she dropped
- 28:27Speaker 1: Page with a code breaker. Roxanne did the cartwheel knees
- 28:32Speaker 1: into Bree's head, and then Paige got taken out with
- 28:35Speaker 1: a leg sweet big boot combo and the judgment day
- 28:38Speaker 1: posed with the gold. While Brie and Page were laid out,
- 28:42Speaker 1: crowd was deathly silent for all of the They did
- 28:47Speaker 1: not give a shit about this segment. And honestly just
- 28:51Speaker 1: as like a promo segment again, very bad, very boring,
- 28:56Speaker 1: very just paint by numbers bullshit, not good, not good.
- 29:03Speaker 1: It's like, well, we don't have anything really better to do,
- 29:05Speaker 1: so we'll just come up with the most basic segment
- 29:07Speaker 1: that we could possibly think of, just to get them
- 29:09Speaker 1: out there on TV and get that pose, get that
- 29:12Speaker 1: shot at the end. Fucking terrible. Moving on, Jimmy Usso.
- 29:20Speaker 1: He entered the locker room where Roman Reigns was sitting,
- 29:24Speaker 1: told Roman that Jay Uso was outside waiting for fat
- 29:27Speaker 1: Tu to try to talk him out. Of going to
- 29:30Speaker 1: the ring tonight. Roman said why would you do that?
- 29:33Speaker 1: And Jimmy thought that Roman should leave Fatu alone. Roman said,
- 29:38Speaker 1: we made an agreement. Fat Tu put his name on
- 29:40Speaker 1: the contract. We were men of our word. If fat
- 29:43Speaker 1: Tou couldn't respect his own family, there would be no
- 29:46Speaker 1: respect from those on the outside. So he said Fatu
- 29:49Speaker 1: had to acknowledge him. Jimmy said he still didn't trust Fatu.
- 29:55Speaker 1: Roman said, if Fatu didn't acknowledge him, then Fatu's ass
- 29:58Speaker 1: was out of here. Jimmy said he was gonna go
- 30:01Speaker 1: find Jay. You do that like a good little foot soldier.
- 30:06Speaker 1: You go find Jay. Eo Sky against soul Ruka. When
- 30:13Speaker 1: I saw that they were doing this match tonight, which
- 30:15Speaker 1: was not announced in advance. When I put the raw
- 30:18Speaker 1: preview together for the stream and everything, they had two
- 30:20Speaker 1: things announced, the Opa Femi Open Challenge continuing and the
- 30:24Speaker 1: Roman range Jacob fought to acknowledgment ceremony. Nothing else for
- 30:29Speaker 1: this show was announced, So imagine throwing this match out
- 30:32Speaker 1: there completely unannounced, like, oh yeah, by the way, we're
- 30:34Speaker 1: having Eo Sky against soul Ruca tonight on the show. Sure,
- 30:40Speaker 1: why not? First we flashed back to last week when
- 30:46Speaker 1: Becky Lynch interrupted Soul's contract signing ceremony. They did some
- 30:51Speaker 1: very slick editing on this to actually make the Soul
- 30:54Speaker 1: snatcher that she went for and missed uh look like
- 31:00Speaker 1: nothing ever happened. The magic of editing, the magic of
- 31:03Speaker 1: post production actually made it look good. So after some
- 31:08Speaker 1: back and forth here and after a commercial break, EO
- 31:11Speaker 1: hit a top rope Spanish fly. A little while later,
- 31:14Speaker 1: Soul put Sky down with a nasty blue thunderbomb. It's
- 31:18Speaker 1: funny because she got you know, she had EO up
- 31:20Speaker 1: in the air and then the way that she just
- 31:24Speaker 1: kind of jerked her down to the mat. And it's
- 31:27Speaker 1: funny because EO had her hands clasped behind her head
- 31:31Speaker 1: just to protect herself. But she took a nasty fall
- 31:35Speaker 1: on that blue thunderbomb. But then EO rallied with a
- 31:38Speaker 1: missile dropkick. Soul avoided the bullet train knees hit EO
- 31:43Speaker 1: with double knees of her own. There was a cool
- 31:45Speaker 1: cartwheel into a DDT off the ropes by Ruka that
- 31:48Speaker 1: got the biggest reaction of anything so far of this match.
- 31:52Speaker 1: EO came back hit the bullet train attack and then
- 31:55Speaker 1: EO Tho was selling her leg and so she took
- 31:58Speaker 1: a little bit longer than usual get up to the
- 32:00Speaker 1: top rope. But she got up to the top. She
- 32:03Speaker 1: went for the over the moon Salt Soul got the
- 32:04Speaker 1: knees up on the way down. Soul went for a
- 32:07Speaker 1: soul snatcher for the finish, but Eo avoided it. At first,
- 32:11Speaker 1: I was like, ah, fuck, she fucked it up again.
- 32:14Speaker 1: She went for it too soon. Eo was not in position,
- 32:17Speaker 1: but it was by design she went for it. She
- 32:20Speaker 1: didn't get it because Eo was in perfect position to
- 32:22Speaker 1: crucifix her over into a pin, and she pins Soul Ruka.
- 32:27Speaker 1: So Eo Sky gets back to back winds first over
- 32:30Speaker 1: Oscar on Saturday and tonight over Soul Ruka. And when
- 32:34Speaker 1: the match was over, Eo pulled her up to her
- 32:36Speaker 1: feet and the two of them shook hands and they hugged,
- 32:40Speaker 1: so a show of respect from both women. I thought
- 32:44Speaker 1: it was a solid match again the finish. At first
- 32:47Speaker 1: I was like, But then when I saw what they did,
- 32:49Speaker 1: I said, Okay, it's all right now. That would have
- 32:52Speaker 1: been awful two weeks in a row to batch that move,
- 32:56Speaker 1: that would have been terrible. Now in the back later,
- 33:01Speaker 1: Eo bumped into Soul again and she told Soul, you
- 33:04Speaker 1: are the future. And then immediately after EO walked away,
- 33:07Speaker 1: Soul turned around and who was standing there Becky Lynch,
- 33:11Speaker 1: and Becky was laughing at her for losing to Eo
- 33:15Speaker 1: Janetti and then she walked off. Now, Soul Ruka is
- 33:20Speaker 1: now winless in her first two matches. Here. On Monday
- 33:24Speaker 1: Night Raw, she wrestled Live Morgan and lost, although it
- 33:27Speaker 1: was because of Zaria, And then here she wrestled Eosky,
- 33:31Speaker 1: a former Women's World Champion, WWE Women's Champion, truly one
- 33:36Speaker 1: of the best in the company, and she lost again. Now,
- 33:41Speaker 1: if you got to lose to somebody, losing to Eosky
- 33:44Speaker 1: and losing to the women's World champion with some outside
- 33:49Speaker 1: interference are not terrible ways to lose. My thing is
- 33:54Speaker 1: she shouldn't be losing in the first place. You know,
- 33:57Speaker 1: she's brand new to the show. I wish that they
- 34:00Speaker 1: there were other people that she could work with to
- 34:01Speaker 1: start racking up some wins and really build herself up
- 34:04Speaker 1: into title contention for down the road. They've taken a
- 34:07Speaker 1: different approach. It's not gonna kill her, it's just the
- 34:11Speaker 1: personal preference. I just wish that you wouldn't debut somebody
- 34:14Speaker 1: and beat them in their first two matches. But she's
- 34:17Speaker 1: gonna go right into a feud now with Becky Lynch,
- 34:19Speaker 1: and so this isn't gonna matter. They had EO in
- 34:21Speaker 1: the back give the big endorsement like you're the futures,
- 34:23Speaker 1: so like they're just taking a different approach with it.
- 34:26Speaker 1: I'm not a huge fan of it, but clearly they
- 34:29Speaker 1: do see her as the future, you know, and she
- 34:32Speaker 1: will be a champion in this division. She'd probably be
- 34:35Speaker 1: Intercontinental champion before she'll be the women's world champion. I
- 34:39Speaker 1: think if she's gonna work with Becky, the end result
- 34:42Speaker 1: should be her winning that belt from Becky because honestly,
- 34:44Speaker 1: the IC title, it's the perfect title for her to
- 34:46Speaker 1: work towards, and I think Becky is the perfect person
- 34:49Speaker 1: for her to work with. They haven't hinted yet on
- 34:52Speaker 1: which show that would be on. I would think they
- 34:54Speaker 1: would do that in Italy. I'm gonna guess when they
- 34:57Speaker 1: do the first match, they'll save it for Italy and
- 35:00Speaker 1: not Saturday Night's main event because the shows were about
- 35:03Speaker 1: a week apart. But I would save that for Clashing
- 35:06Speaker 1: Italy is what I would do. Now we go backstage.
- 35:12Speaker 1: Jay Usso is pacing back and forth in the parking area.
- 35:15Speaker 1: Brother Jimmy shows up says that his talk with Roman
- 35:19Speaker 1: didn't go so well. Jay doesn't think Jacob is going
- 35:22Speaker 1: to acknowledge him, and Jimmy, you know, I gotta say this.
- 35:28Speaker 1: I'm listening to all this dialogue. I'm like, this entire
- 35:31Speaker 1: show is built around will this person acknowledge the other person? Like,
- 35:37Speaker 1: it's so goofy, It's so fucking goofy. It ended up
- 35:43Speaker 1: being the best part of the entire show, though it
- 35:45Speaker 1: had nothing to do with any sort of acknowledgment ceremony.
- 35:47Speaker 1: It's just two guys, you know, fighting in one guy
- 35:51Speaker 1: kicking the other's ass. That will get over every time.
- 35:54Speaker 1: But like I'm watching this back and forth and the
- 35:56Speaker 1: usos are all nervous, Oh my god, is you're going
- 35:58Speaker 1: to acknowledge it? I'm like, come on, like, what are
- 36:01Speaker 1: we doing here? We're building the whole show around this
- 36:04Speaker 1: who gives a shit? Who gives a shit? Who acknowledges who?
- 36:11Speaker 1: Oh my god. Jay said he was gonna stay in
- 36:17Speaker 1: the back of way for Jacob. Jimmy said he was
- 36:19Speaker 1: going to go out to the ring later with the OTC. Fine.
- 36:24Speaker 1: Jackie Redman was backstage. She was with the Street Profits
- 36:29Speaker 1: who were all amped up to go after the tag
- 36:33Speaker 1: team titles on Saturday night's main event. This is what
- 36:37Speaker 1: they came back for, they said. But here comes seth
- 36:40Speaker 1: Rawlins to interrupt. This guy just will not leave these
- 36:43Speaker 1: two men alone. Why can't he just stay away from
- 36:46Speaker 1: the Street Profits. They clearly don't like him. So montes
- 36:49Speaker 1: Ford does not like this man. He told him in
- 36:51Speaker 1: no uncertain terms, stay away, And everywhere they turned, seth
- 36:55Speaker 1: Rawlins appears like like an apparition. So shows up. He says,
- 37:01Speaker 1: if you're serious about taking those titles off the Vision,
- 37:05Speaker 1: it's time we talked. Montes Ford was not interested in
- 37:09Speaker 1: hearing what he had to say. Angela Dawkins was like, well,
- 37:12Speaker 1: maybe we should hear him out, and Ford is like no.
- 37:15Speaker 1: He says, Rollins is not to be trusted, and we
- 37:18Speaker 1: don't need your ass to win the tag team championships.
- 37:21Speaker 1: Bet on that off they went. So after this it
- 37:30Speaker 1: was time for that's right, acknowledge me if you had
- 37:33Speaker 1: to acknowledge anybody, let me see. Let me see the
- 37:36Speaker 1: ones in the chat you acknowledge the Solemn Monster. Forget
- 37:38Speaker 1: all this other nonsense. You acknowledge me. Seth is obsessed
- 37:47Speaker 1: with helping, yeah, because he's got nothing else to do.
- 37:50Speaker 1: He has no faction anymore, so he doesn't know what
- 37:56Speaker 1: to do with himself. He's trying to like buddy up
- 37:58Speaker 1: to other people and they don't want to have anything
- 38:01Speaker 1: to do with him. It was time for the Oba
- 38:07Speaker 1: Femi Open Challenge week number two, and he gets into
- 38:13Speaker 1: the ring and he calls out his next challenger and
- 38:16Speaker 1: there's no challenger. Instead, he gets Adam Pierce. I'm like, oh,
- 38:19Speaker 1: maybe Adam Pierce has accepted the open challenge. That would
- 38:23Speaker 1: at least be interesting. Adam Pierce walks out and he says,
- 38:28Speaker 1: I'm sorry to inform him, but nobody in the back
- 38:31Speaker 1: wanted to accept your challenge, and so therefore the open
- 38:34Speaker 1: Challenge for this week is hereby canceled. And that did
- 38:39Speaker 1: not make the fans in Knoxville very happy. So Oba
- 38:43Speaker 1: was furious about this. He stormed out of the ring
- 38:46Speaker 1: to the back through the gorilla position, and just beyond Gorilla,
- 38:50Speaker 1: who does he find. He finds Angel and Berto. Now,
- 38:55Speaker 1: I was shocked when we had the mass wave of
- 38:58Speaker 1: releases recently and they were not on the list. I
- 39:02Speaker 1: was happy for them, but I was, to be perfectly
- 39:05Speaker 1: blunt stunned that they were not on the list. Santos
- 39:09Speaker 1: Escobar was on there. I know his situation is a
- 39:12Speaker 1: little bit different. He's in TRIPAA and he's out hurt
- 39:14Speaker 1: right now, but still they were not on the list.
- 39:17Speaker 1: And then I saw how WWE use them tonight, and
- 39:21Speaker 1: I would not at all be surprised if they end
- 39:23Speaker 1: up on some sort of list, because these are not
- 39:25Speaker 1: two men that are going places in WWE. The only
- 39:28Speaker 1: place these two men are going, whether it's now or
- 39:30Speaker 1: six months from now or a year from now after
- 39:32Speaker 1: WrestleMania next year, is out of the company. And I'm
- 39:35Speaker 1: sorry to say, because they're very talented, and I think
- 39:39Speaker 1: surely you can find a way to use them in
- 39:41Speaker 1: some capacity. You have two dead tag team divisions, and
- 39:45Speaker 1: so I don't know why you wouldn't want to use
- 39:47Speaker 1: them in some capacity to try to aid in those
- 39:49Speaker 1: tag team divisions. But they're not going to do it.
- 39:52Speaker 1: They're two dead men walking in this company. So whether
- 39:56Speaker 1: it's now or then, their future is outside of WWE.
- 39:59Speaker 1: And I think they know that and that was very
- 40:02Speaker 1: evident from what they did and how they used them tonight,
- 40:05Speaker 1: because they were in the wrong place at the wrong time.
- 40:07Speaker 1: But hey, they wanted an opportunity for Madam Pierce. Well
- 40:10Speaker 1: they got an opportunity because Oba Femi beat the fuck
- 40:12Speaker 1: out of him and then he dragged Slash carried them
- 40:16Speaker 1: out to the ring. If nobody wants to accept the
- 40:19Speaker 1: open challenge, then he's going to accept the open challenge
- 40:21Speaker 1: for him. So down to the ring they go. This
- 40:24Speaker 1: ended up being a two on one handicap match. We
- 40:27Speaker 1: got the running corner uppercuts by Oba. He tossed Angel
- 40:31Speaker 1: over Berto, who ducked, and then Berto got picked up
- 40:34Speaker 1: and he got thrown halfway across the ring and then
- 40:37Speaker 1: Berto ate a fall from Grace and he took the pin.
- 40:41Speaker 1: You know, I defended this shit when they first announced it,
- 40:45Speaker 1: even though I'm as sick as anybody of all the
- 40:47Speaker 1: open challenges. Right, the concept of an open challenge is fine,
- 40:51Speaker 1: It could be exciting when you have constant open challenges,
- 40:55Speaker 1: it just doesn't have the same luster it used to.
- 41:00Speaker 1: But also is I think oftentimes used by the other
- 41:03Speaker 1: writers is just a lazy crutch. In the case of Obafemi.
- 41:08Speaker 1: I genuinely don't think they know what to do with him,
- 41:10Speaker 1: other than they know they don't want to put him
- 41:12Speaker 1: in there yet with Roman reigns, so they don't know
- 41:15Speaker 1: what to do with the guys. We'll have an open challenge.
- 41:17Speaker 1: It's a way to get him on the show every week.
- 41:19Speaker 1: And the way I looked at it, I looked at
- 41:21Speaker 1: it that way too, like if you don't have a
- 41:24Speaker 1: really obvious place for him at the moment, and he's
- 41:28Speaker 1: not going after the World Championship, which he really should
- 41:31Speaker 1: be doing very soon, because why wouldn't he, it doesn't
- 41:36Speaker 1: make any sense. You gotta do something with him in
- 41:39Speaker 1: the meantime to keep the momentum going and not just
- 41:42Speaker 1: take him off TV. So fine, you want to do
- 41:45Speaker 1: an open challenge with Obafemi. Maybe they'll make it interesting,
- 41:47Speaker 1: maybe you'll maybe we'll get a couple of banger matches
- 41:49Speaker 1: out of it. Maybe we'll put him in there with
- 41:51Speaker 1: some guys that are coming back, or somebody from SmackDown
- 41:54Speaker 1: shows up one week and wants to accept the open challenge,
- 41:58Speaker 1: and who knows, maybe maybe we'll still get that. This
- 42:01Speaker 1: was only week two, but I'm watching this here in
- 42:03Speaker 1: week two, and I'm like, we've already jumped the shark
- 42:05Speaker 1: with this. Nobody wants to accept the open challenge that
- 42:10Speaker 1: he goes backstage, grabs the two the first two jobbers
- 42:13Speaker 1: he can find, drags him out to the ring and
- 42:16Speaker 1: beats him in ninety seconds. And what exactly does this accomplish?
- 42:22Speaker 1: How am I supposed to feel about this? I don't
- 42:27Speaker 1: know how much more mileage they're going to be able
- 42:29Speaker 1: to get out of this. If this is the sort
- 42:30Speaker 1: of thing they have planned, can you see this going
- 42:34Speaker 1: on for another six weeks with this company keeping it interesting?
- 42:42Speaker 1: I don't really know what else to say about it.
- 42:43Speaker 1: They're already advertising another open challenge next week. Why would
- 42:46Speaker 1: I care nobody accepted it this week. I'm supposed to
- 42:49Speaker 1: give a shit that he's doing another one next week.
- 42:51Speaker 1: I don't give a fuck. I feel like an idiot
- 42:56Speaker 1: for even defending this idea because I thought they had
- 42:58Speaker 1: something interesting planned. Go to the back. JD McDonough and
- 43:07Speaker 1: Dominic Mysterio. They were walking through the backstage area. Dom
- 43:13Speaker 1: was on his way out for his Triple A Mega
- 43:15Speaker 1: title defense when Finn Balor blindsided JD McDonough. He threw
- 43:20Speaker 1: him into an equipment case. He beat the piss out
- 43:22Speaker 1: of him, He left him laying and now he's looking
- 43:25Speaker 1: at Dom. He tells Dom, looks like you're gonna have
- 43:29Speaker 1: to go out there alone to defend your championship. And
- 43:35Speaker 1: Dom said, well, I've got some goal to go defend
- 43:39Speaker 1: something you would know nothing about. Hey, he turned, didn't
- 43:42Speaker 1: He just very casually walked off and he left his
- 43:47Speaker 1: judgment day brother laying dead on the ground. Then Dom
- 43:51Speaker 1: seemed rather unbothered by the whole thing. So great, I'm
- 43:55Speaker 1: sure that's gonna make JD McDonough feel fantastic. So we
- 44:00Speaker 1: had Dominic Mysterio defending the Triple A Mega title. By
- 44:03Speaker 1: the way, that's the only thing they flew Finn Balor
- 44:06Speaker 1: out to Knoxville, Tennessee for. I don't know where Balor
- 44:10Speaker 1: is living these days. I don't know if he's in Florida.
- 44:12Speaker 1: I don't know where he is. But imagine getting on
- 44:16Speaker 1: a plane and flying four hours, five hours to go
- 44:20Speaker 1: to Knoxville, and you get there and you're told that
- 44:24Speaker 1: your your job tonight is you're gonna just beat up
- 44:28Speaker 1: JD McDonough for five seconds, and then you're gonna have
- 44:30Speaker 1: about a sentence of dialogue and your night is done.
- 44:36Speaker 1: Easy work. I guess El Grande Americano Gable, though, is
- 44:41Speaker 1: challenging for the Triple A Mega title. El Grande Americano
- 44:44Speaker 1: Gable got monkey flipped on the apron into the ring
- 44:46Speaker 1: post early in this match, the head of a commercial
- 44:50Speaker 1: break that was pretty nuts. Ryo and Bravo ran out
- 44:56Speaker 1: a little bit later to distract the referee and Chad Gable.
- 44:59Speaker 1: El Grande Kaiser then ran out. He hit Gable dom
- 45:03Speaker 1: followed with a Tornado DDT, but only for a near fall.
- 45:07Speaker 1: Julio m Bruto show. I can't believe I'm even talking
- 45:11Speaker 1: about this show. Do you let me remind you of something? Okay,
- 45:17Speaker 1: It's Monday. After some of the WWE stuff that I've
- 45:21Speaker 1: seen over the past week, I feel like I've been
- 45:24Speaker 1: through six weeks in the span of one. I sat
- 45:27Speaker 1: here on Friday and I reviewed a show, a television
- 45:31Speaker 1: show that hosted a funeral for the gingerbread Men. On
- 45:38Speaker 1: the same show where Dan Hausen was doing a science
- 45:42Speaker 1: experiment trying to create a cloning machine so that he
- 45:47Speaker 1: could clone himself to be his tag team partner. His
- 45:51Speaker 1: own tag team partner at the ple. The next night,
- 45:57Speaker 1: upon tuning into said ple, Dan Hausen did indeed clone himself,
- 46:02Speaker 1: and it ended up being a miniature version of himself.
- 46:07Speaker 1: During the course of said match, Minnie Housen was popped
- 46:11Speaker 1: back into the machine and when the machine opened there
- 46:15Speaker 1: were multiple mini houses, so he had replicated himself. Okay,
- 46:23Speaker 1: this is a real thing that happened. Now I'm watching
- 46:26Speaker 1: Raw tonight and I've got the Creed Brothers, who are
- 46:30Speaker 1: a pretty good tag team who are now running around
- 46:34Speaker 1: wearing masks pretending to not speak English, calling themselves Julio
- 46:40Speaker 1: and Bruto. Meanwhile, we have Pete Dunn and Tyler Bate,
- 46:46Speaker 1: also pretty good wrestlers still after all these months, running
- 46:50Speaker 1: around in masks calling themselves Ryo and Bravo. Chad Gable meanwhile,
- 46:56Speaker 1: is also still running around under a mask. D wig
- 47:00Speaker 1: Kaiser has been running around under a mass for many
- 47:03Speaker 1: months and is having great success down in Mexico and
- 47:10Speaker 1: Osca is no longer on television. Am I asking for logic? No,
- 47:18Speaker 1: I'm not asking for anything. I just had this moment
- 47:21Speaker 1: where I had to pause and just reflect upon the
- 47:24Speaker 1: last few days, just to kind of put things in perspective.
- 47:30Speaker 1: But I'll have to eat shit from certain people on
- 47:32Speaker 1: social media for not loving this show. I had one
- 47:34Speaker 1: person to tweet me tonight and go Raw has been
- 47:37Speaker 1: fantastic lately. Let me ask you a question. Is there
- 47:44Speaker 1: any single show at the moment, week to week in
- 47:49Speaker 1: WWE that you can honestly sit there and tell me
- 47:53Speaker 1: the word that you would use to describe it is fantastic.
- 47:59Speaker 1: I think you are fantastically ill in the brain if
- 48:03Speaker 1: that is a word that you would like to use now.
- 48:05Speaker 1: Don't get me wrong. Raw is better than SmackDown. You
- 48:09Speaker 1: get no argument out of me there. But fantastic is
- 48:13Speaker 1: not a word I would use to describe anything going
- 48:16Speaker 1: on in WWE right now. But if you don't say that,
- 48:20Speaker 1: you're a hater. Got it? Gable put dominant ankle lock
- 48:31Speaker 1: Kaiser jumped up on the apron. Gable went after him.
- 48:34Speaker 1: He tried to rip his mask off. Stop me if
- 48:36Speaker 1: you've heard that before. That distraction allowed Dominic to hit
- 48:40Speaker 1: a six y one nine and then a frog splash
- 48:42Speaker 1: for the win to retain the championship in this historic,
- 48:46Speaker 1: first time ever title defense of the Triple A Mega
- 48:51Speaker 1: Championship on Raw, which ended the same way that every
- 48:54Speaker 1: fucking Dominic Mysterio match ends historic. You know Gable and Kaiser,
- 49:02Speaker 1: they have their mask match on May thirtieth and Triple A.
- 49:05Speaker 1: It cannot come soon enough. Please please end this already.
- 49:11Speaker 1: I say it every week. Please end this already. This
- 49:15Speaker 1: Americano shit has got to end. Jackie Redmond backstage interviewed Logan,
- 49:26Speaker 1: Paul and Austin Theory as if they didn't get enough
- 49:29Speaker 1: time earlier in the show. Logan was still very upset
- 49:32Speaker 1: about the Joe Hendry song. He also referred to Jackie
- 49:35Speaker 1: as wacky. Paul said that if he had to hear
- 49:38Speaker 1: the song again, he would Vincent van go himself. He
- 49:41Speaker 1: would cut his ears off. Theory told Logan to relax.
- 49:46Speaker 1: We'll go get some dinner and then you'll notice in
- 49:50Speaker 1: the suv that was parked there, sitting in the back
- 49:52Speaker 1: seat on the passenger side of the suv, typing away
- 49:56Speaker 1: on her phone was Maxine Dupree. Not the first time
- 50:00Speaker 1: that we have seen Maxine do pre either with the
- 50:03Speaker 1: members of the Vision or in the background of a segment.
- 50:06Speaker 1: Interacting with Austin Theory and the members of the Vision
- 50:10Speaker 1: seems to me like they may have completely given up
- 50:13Speaker 1: on her in the ring and maybe they're gonna use
- 50:15Speaker 1: her as a valet. Maybe that's the way to go.
- 50:22Speaker 1: So now it was time for the closing segment. It
- 50:25Speaker 1: was Americano was over in Mexico. So though yes, like,
- 50:30Speaker 1: are you deaf? Did you not hear what I said?
- 50:32Speaker 1: I acknowledge that. I acknowledge that every week I said
- 50:36Speaker 1: Americano Kaiser is one of the biggest babyfaces in all
- 50:39Speaker 1: of Mexico. But we're not in Mexico. Last I checked,
- 50:44Speaker 1: ra aw was in Knoxville, Tennessee. The Americano stuff sucks
- 50:50Speaker 1: on this show. Keep it in Triple A. It works
- 50:54Speaker 1: in Triple A. The people in Triple A care about it.
- 50:57Speaker 1: That pull apart brawl several weeks ago was one of
- 50:59Speaker 1: the best pull apart brawls I've ever seen. Keep it
- 51:03Speaker 1: in triple A. It does not work here. Roman reigns
- 51:10Speaker 1: and Jimmy Usso we're out to the ring for the
- 51:12Speaker 1: closing segment. This was the so called acknowledgment ceremony. And
- 51:16Speaker 1: he gets in the ring and Roman tells Knoxville to
- 51:20Speaker 1: acknowledge me. Cut to the back and Jacob fat Tou
- 51:26Speaker 1: has arrived and Jay Usso is trying to get through
- 51:29Speaker 1: to him, and fat Tu just has tunnel vision. He's
- 51:32Speaker 1: ignoring him like he's not even there. And he's storming
- 51:35Speaker 1: through the back and Jay is following along with him,
- 51:37Speaker 1: and he's trying to get his attention and trying to
- 51:39Speaker 1: tell him, Man, you gotta be smart. Don't do this,
- 51:42Speaker 1: don't do this. So by the time they get to
- 51:45Speaker 1: the gorilla position, Jay gets in front of fa Tu
- 51:51Speaker 1: and he's trying to tell him be smart's be smart,
- 51:54Speaker 1: and so Fatu gives him a head butt and beats
- 51:57Speaker 1: him up and leaves him laying and then Fatu turns
- 51:59Speaker 1: into the camera and he says, tells Roman. He goes,
- 52:02Speaker 1: You're gonna have to beat that acknowledgment out of me,
- 52:07Speaker 1: and out to the ring he comes. So Jimmy meets
- 52:10Speaker 1: him in the aisle and Jimmy eats a thrust, a
- 52:13Speaker 1: palm thrust. Fatu throws him into the barricade. So that
- 52:16Speaker 1: clears the way now for Jacob Fought two to make
- 52:19Speaker 1: his way down to the ring. Yes an acknowledgment ceremony, lol,
- 52:23Speaker 1: says Pedro. Don't I don't write this shit, Okay, I
- 52:27Speaker 1: just review it. I don't book it. I don't write it,
- 52:30Speaker 1: I don't conceive it, I talk about it. Don't look
- 52:33Speaker 1: at me, don't blame me. He gets into the ring
- 52:43Speaker 1: and the fight is on. He takes down the champion,
- 52:46Speaker 1: then he close lines him out to the floor, and
- 52:48Speaker 1: Fatu goes for a dive through the ropes. He runs
- 52:51Speaker 1: right into a superman punch. Roman grabs a chair from
- 52:54Speaker 1: underneath the ring. He brings it inside. Chair shot to
- 52:57Speaker 1: the back, another chair shot to the back, a third
- 53:01Speaker 1: chair shot to the back, and Roman is yelling at
- 53:03Speaker 1: him to acknowledge me. Acknowledge me, or your asses out
- 53:06Speaker 1: of here. Acknowledge me. Probably wakes up in a cold
- 53:09Speaker 1: sweat in the middle of the night. Acknowledge me. Acknowledge me,
- 53:12Speaker 1: he tells his kids when his kids misbehave, acknowledge me.
- 53:16Speaker 1: So he's continuing to pummel him with his chair. Roman
- 53:21Speaker 1: sets up for a spear. He gets intercepted though with
- 53:23Speaker 1: a superkick, and now Jacob applies the Tonguan death grip.
- 53:28Speaker 1: The Tonguan death grip is applied and he shoves Roman
- 53:33Speaker 1: backwards out over the top rope. Roman lands on his feet. Jacob, though,
- 53:36Speaker 1: flies out of the ring with a suicide dive, so
- 53:40Speaker 1: Jacob is yelling at him, acknowledged this. He throws him
- 53:43Speaker 1: face first into the ring post and he's yelling at Roman, saying,
- 53:48Speaker 1: you left me and my family broke. So now we're
- 53:53Speaker 1: seeing some of that, some of that past rage boil
- 53:57Speaker 1: over here with Jacob faught to so he gently and
- 54:01Speaker 1: this was the funniest part to me, he takes Roman
- 54:05Speaker 1: and he very gently throws him into the ring steps,
- 54:08Speaker 1: like it was the most gentle throw into the steps
- 54:11Speaker 1: that you will ever see. It's like they were moving
- 54:13Speaker 1: in slow motion here and the crab breaks into it.
- 54:17Speaker 1: We want tables chance, so Fa Tu clears off the
- 54:19Speaker 1: announced desk, but in comes Roman with a superman punch
- 54:23Speaker 1: and he tried for another one. Fatu catches him though
- 54:25Speaker 1: in the Tongan death grip again and then he power
- 54:29Speaker 1: bombs Roman through the announced desk, same spot. They did
- 54:33Speaker 1: a backlash this time again the table broke. Roman goes through,
- 54:38Speaker 1: so officials pour out Fa two though gets the Tonguan
- 54:42Speaker 1: death grip applied. Boy, he loves using this move. He's
- 54:45Speaker 1: gonna run this thing into the fucking ground. He must
- 54:49Speaker 1: have used that. How many times did he use that
- 54:51Speaker 1: move on Saturday six times, seven times. After a while,
- 54:59Speaker 1: I lost count. He acknowledged the steps, solidn Monster. Yeah,
- 55:09Speaker 1: he acknowledged that. He barely acknowledged the steps. But he
- 55:13Speaker 1: puts the tongue in death grip back on this man.
- 55:16Speaker 1: And Adam Pierce is out there and he's yelling at him,
- 55:18Speaker 1: let go, let go, let go, and now Fano enough,
- 55:22Speaker 1: so Fat two, let's go. But then he reapplies it again,
- 55:27Speaker 1: and like, I'm watching all of this play out, and
- 55:29Speaker 1: the officials are trying to pry this man off of
- 55:32Speaker 1: Roman reigns, and several minutes have gone by now since
- 55:35Speaker 1: Fat two hit the ring, and I'm like, you know,
- 55:39Speaker 1: he didn't really do that much damage to the USOS.
- 55:42Speaker 1: Where the fuck are the USOS? What did he do
- 55:46Speaker 1: that was so terrible to the USOS that they wouldn't
- 55:48Speaker 1: be back by now to help save Roman. So Fat
- 55:52Speaker 1: two gets back in the ring and he picks up
- 55:55Speaker 1: the World Heavyweight title and he licks it very unsanitary,
- 55:59Speaker 1: and he holds the title up high and then he
- 56:02Speaker 1: throws it down and he exits the ring and they
- 56:04Speaker 1: put the copyright box up. They wanted you to think
- 56:06Speaker 1: the show is going off the air and he's looking
- 56:09Speaker 1: into the camera as he's leaving, and he's, you know,
- 56:11Speaker 1: shouting into the camera, I'm all gased. No breaks with it.
- 56:16Speaker 1: But then he turns and he sprints back down to
- 56:19Speaker 1: ringside and he hits a running hip attack to Roman
- 56:22Speaker 1: and the USOS who have magically reappeared. They're all standing
- 56:26Speaker 1: in that same area by the Timekeeper's barricade, and he
- 56:29Speaker 1: does the running hip attack and puts all three of
- 56:32Speaker 1: them through the barricade. Now there's a spot that I've
- 56:35Speaker 1: never seen before, somebody going through the timekeeper's barricade. I'm
- 56:40Speaker 1: glad they did that again here on this show. It's
- 56:42Speaker 1: been so long since I've seen that. But he left
- 56:45Speaker 1: all three men laying on the ground, and that is
- 56:48Speaker 1: how Raw went off the air. The whole concept of
- 56:50Speaker 1: the acknowledgment ceremony is just it's so fucking goofy. It's
- 56:54Speaker 1: just some of that corny bullshit that they love to
- 56:58Speaker 1: come up with, and it's just it's stupid. But you
- 57:00Speaker 1: know what worked here, What worked here is that Jacob
- 57:03Speaker 1: Fatu at Backlash when that show was over the way
- 57:06Speaker 1: they left it, he was portrayed as a madman. You
- 57:09Speaker 1: could not control this man. He was a wild man
- 57:13Speaker 1: and I loved it, and so they continued that here tonight.
- 57:16Speaker 1: When he got to the building, he didn't give a
- 57:18Speaker 1: shit with Jay, who was so had to say he
- 57:20Speaker 1: had one mission, which was to go back out to
- 57:22Speaker 1: that ring and beat the hell out of Roman Reigns.
- 57:24Speaker 1: And when this show was over, it ended the way
- 57:26Speaker 1: the Backlash did. It ended with Roman laying on his
- 57:29Speaker 1: back and Jacob Fatu's standing tall. So they've done a
- 57:33Speaker 1: very good job of keeping Jacob Fatu as strong as
- 57:38Speaker 1: can possibly be. And you have to because they're clearly
- 57:41Speaker 1: building to clash in Italy. They're going to run this
- 57:43Speaker 1: back again, and so you want Jacob to be this
- 57:46Speaker 1: unstoppable monster going into the show. I wish that they
- 57:50Speaker 1: weren't leaning so heavily into the Tonguan death grip where
- 57:53Speaker 1: he's applying it eight times every time we see him.
- 57:56Speaker 1: I joked about this when I was talking about Backlash
- 58:00Speaker 1: of the podcast yesterday, and I said, you know, as
- 58:03Speaker 1: hard as they've been trying to get that hold over
- 58:05Speaker 1: as this lethal maneuver, they did a whole thing a
- 58:08Speaker 1: few weeks ago where Michael Cole was like, oh, the
- 58:09Speaker 1: tongue in death grip. You know, you basically clamp down
- 58:12Speaker 1: on the atoms apple, you cut off the oxygen supply.
- 58:14Speaker 1: It's a deadly hold. You're not supposed to use it
- 58:16Speaker 1: all the time. I'm like, for such a deadly hold,
- 58:20Speaker 1: he used it like half a dozen times on Saturday,
- 58:23Speaker 1: and he's still fucking lost. It can't be that deadly.
- 58:28Speaker 1: If it was that deadly, you would use it once
- 58:30Speaker 1: and it would be night nighty night right curtains night's out,
- 58:34Speaker 1: nights out, lights out, And so it can't be that
- 58:37Speaker 1: bad if he kicked out of it and he won
- 58:38Speaker 1: the match. So maybe dial it back a little bit,
- 58:41Speaker 1: maybe don't be using it so often. But they've kept
- 58:44Speaker 1: Jacob Faught too strong, so that's a good thing. It's
- 58:46Speaker 1: the best part of the entire show. I can't really
- 58:51Speaker 1: say a whole lot of great things about the rest
- 58:53Speaker 1: of this show. I really can't. I just thought the
- 58:56Speaker 1: show was largely very boring. There wasn't a whole lot
- 58:58Speaker 1: of life to it. This is the way the problem
- 59:00Speaker 1: has felt now for some time. There's just there's no
- 59:04Speaker 1: there's no life to it. There's just and some of
- 59:07Speaker 1: these segments we're just going through the motions we're just
- 59:10Speaker 1: doing the same shit that we always do, even the
- 59:12Speaker 1: end of the show, even though it ended up being
- 59:14Speaker 1: a good segment. Okay, somebody got power bomb through the
- 59:17Speaker 1: announced desk, somebody got put through the timekeeper's bar. Okay, okay,
- 59:20Speaker 1: we see this shit all the time, you know. It's
- 59:24Speaker 1: like they're like one trick ponies here. It's like, well, okay,
- 59:27Speaker 1: well we'll do this. It worked for us last time,
- 59:30Speaker 1: so we'll just do it again, but we'll do it
- 59:31Speaker 1: with a couple of different people, Like that segment when
- 59:36Speaker 1: they had Page and Bribella out there and then rare
- 59:38Speaker 1: Quellen Roxanne came out and then Lived did the attack,
- 59:41Speaker 1: and it was like, what is this? What are we
- 59:45Speaker 1: doing here? There's nothing. There's nothing interesting about that. They're
- 59:48Speaker 1: not saying anything interesting, they're not doing anything interesting. You're
- 59:51Speaker 1: not giving me a reason to give a shit about
- 59:55Speaker 1: what about what any of these people are doing. You're
- 59:59Speaker 1: not giving me your reason to care. That's why when
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: I say they're just going through the motions, that's what
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: it feels like, you know. But fuck me for not
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: thinking that this was a fantastic television show. Boy, the
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: standards have really dropped. I have to say, the standards
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: have really really dropped over the years. If there are
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: people out there who legitimately believe I'm not saying that
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: you're an idiot if you thought were aw was good,
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: but can we please not throw words around like fantastic.
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: I can't take you seriously that way. There was nothing
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: fantastic about this show. There has not been anything fantastic
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: about most of these shows for quite some time now.
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: Don't give them the impression that the shows are fantastic
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: when they're not. They need to know that there is
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: room for improvement here. The shows will not get better
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: if they're convinced that they're that good. You're enabling them.
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: Don't do that. Don't enable these people. Man, let's get
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: to use super chats sounds. It sounds boring even listening
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: to Yeah, well, I look, I try to doll it
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: up as best I can, but sometimes it's like putting
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: lipstick on a pig. At the end of the day,
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: it's still a pig no matter how much lipstick you
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: put on. I can put a lipstick on there, you
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: can put a nice little red bow, it doesn't matter.
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: It's still a fucking pig. I can only do what
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: I can do all right. If you got any messages,
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: get them on in. I will do my best to
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: get through these here in a timely fashion. Or we
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: six out of ten on the bonus goal, what was
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: the main goal? Yeah, we're not there yet. It's like,
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: be the Booker may have to wait for Wednesday. That's
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: a dangerous proposition. Considering the way Wednesdays have been going.
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: We may be waiting until Friday to get to be
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: the booker. Death Sie still think there needs to be
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: a Hannah Kimora dark side of the Ring. I agree.
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: They may not want to go to it yet, though
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: they may want to put some more distance between the
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: actual end of her life and an eventual episode Electric feel.
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: I didn't see Marty Jeannette becoming Becky's personal punching bag
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: in the Big two six. Now, part of me thinks
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: that one of these weeks she's gonna trop Marty Jeanette
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: out there. They're gonna do some kind of angle, get
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: Marty a pay day and get him on the show.
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: But the way Marty is moving around these days, I
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: don't know about that. That that ankle is pretty gnarly.
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: You've ever seen pictures of his ankle yiesh big money.
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: Oh it's Bossmo. Bossmo. Jackson says, Raw is so dead.
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: Thumbs down show tonight. WWE needs to get Chad Gable
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: away from this gimmick. I agree, and I believe they
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: will in a few weeks. There's only one way that
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: match can go, that is with a Gable loss. He says,
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: this Americano feud needs to go. I can't take no
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: more of this. It's old and tired. I swear both
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: WWE and AW annoy me tremendously. He says, Trips needs
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: to go away and replace him with who. Replace him
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: with who? Bruce Michael Hayes Mark Shapiro of TKO becomes
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: the acting chief content Officer. Oh, that'll be great. Randy Boban?
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: Is that Randy Boban? I believe this Randy Bobandy. Yes,
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: it is Randy Bobandy. This is just completely random. But
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: I missed the legend killer version of the Orton Douche pose.
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: That is pretty random. Aaron says, these shows all end
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: the same way. Yes, it is very much like Groundhog
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: Days sometimes watching these shows. Alexander says, a man can dream,
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: but I would abandon the Keana Julia feud and put
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: her on RAW. I feel like she would be better off,
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: but Creative has failed us before talking about putting Julia
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: on Raw, not Keana. Yeah, I think that'd be great.
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: I don't disagree with that at all. Actually, Raw could
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: use the help now more than It's funny how that works, right,
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: even a few weeks ago, it would have been the
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: other way around. It's funny how fast the things can change.
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: Arabian Nights two thousand, his fightful his inquiring about La
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: Knight's status. In the likelihood, he declined a pay cut
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: could be departing. Yeah, I haven't heard anything about that.
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: I don't know how legit that is, so I'll wait
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: and see if anything gets reported. I know what happened
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: is he was going to work with Gunther and they
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: decided to pivot and go with gun Through against Cody Rhoades.
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: So now all of a sudden, La Knight is left
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: without a program. They have no ideas for him, which
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: is not a good place to be in when they
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: have nothing for you. But that's why we don't have
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: him on TV. They were at least going to get
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: a TV match out of it, and then they just
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: went in a totally different direction, and he got left
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: out in the cold. Phil the nine ninety nine and
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: his solo. It's been a while. Just wanted to say
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: that Bubble Pop scream eats corn the long way. Yes
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: they do. Bubble has bubbles for brains, as I told
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: Bubbles directly. MGM Ballin says wrestling is boring. Appreciate you solo.
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: Let's go Nix. Yeah, the Knicks are on fire. The
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: Knicks have been killing it. Nicks are a lot more
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: exciting to watch than WWE. Right now, Aaron, what's going on? Aaron?
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: Good to hear from you. Twenty dollars super Chat says
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: this show is desperately missing punk La Night right now.
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: I like how Jacob has been looking, but I cannot
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: possibly care about the Ussos and Roman lore in twenty
- 1:06:54Speaker 1: twenty six. It is so redundant for the Ussos as character.
- 1:06:58Speaker 1: It's not even just redundant, dude, it's just fucking lazy.
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: I said, I feel like we've regressed four years, three years. Also,
- 1:07:13Speaker 1: why the hell are they giving Brie mic time over page?
- 1:07:17Speaker 1: She's so insufferable that your mom comeback made me legit
- 1:07:21Speaker 1: and grow instantly. Thought of what reaction you would have
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: when I watched that segment. My reaction was one of indifference.
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: I cared so much about what she had to say.
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: I just recited it to you and I moved on
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: with the review. Hey, Bribella should not be getting that
- 1:07:39Speaker 1: much mic time on this show. Actually, Page is a
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: better promo than Bribella was. You got a good point there.
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: They should have put the mic in Page's hand, not
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: in breezehand. You put the mic in breeze hand, you
- 1:07:52Speaker 1: end up with the judgments day Media. I'm an ugly lad. Well,
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: you could have a little more self confidence than that
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: new drinking game drink whenever you hear tongue in death grip.
- 1:08:10Speaker 1: Oh dude, are you kidding me? You won't make it.
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: You won't make it to the end of the show.
- 1:08:20Speaker 1: A nice guy, Thank you, Thank you for being a
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: nice guy. Alex's brother solo with what Paul told Cody
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: on SmackDown. Can you see Cody when he turns heel
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: joining Paul as a Paul Hayman guy. No, because I
- 1:08:40Speaker 1: think a Cody heel turned is still so far away
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: that I don't even think it's a real thought in
- 1:08:47Speaker 1: their head right now. I also just don't see the point,
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: you know. I feel like Cody is one of those
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: people he doesn't need. He doesn't does he really need Hayman?
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: I mean, I guess Punk didn't either. But look at
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: that we shot up to nine out of ten in
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: the bonus goal. How'd that happen? OMG wow? Who is that? Polaris?
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: Are you telling me you have no idea who mother
- 1:09:19Speaker 1: Wayne is? Chat? You have to educate our friend Polaris.
- 1:09:28Speaker 1: He needs your help. Dried Chicken says, you know what's
- 1:09:34Speaker 1: really sad if we boo these women in WWE, the
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: fans get blamed and shamed for hurting their feelings. Dead
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: silence is the only reaction. That's it. If you're watching
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: the show and there's something on the show that just
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: isn't exciting you, That's why people get on the crowds
- 1:09:50Speaker 1: all the time. And like, I'm watching the EO Sky
- 1:09:52Speaker 1: and Soul Ruka mash to that and I wish the
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: crowd was louder for that. They kind of got them
- 1:09:56Speaker 1: into it more as the match went on. But look,
- 1:09:59Speaker 1: if just watch the shows, I can't I can't blame
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: the crowds. You pay all this money, you pay all
- 1:10:08Speaker 1: of this money to go to a WWE show to
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: sit there and listen to a Bribella promo. I am
- 1:10:17Speaker 1: I gonna sit here and blame the fans for not
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: making noise. Z Ray with the fifteen. I'm so tired
- 1:10:29Speaker 1: of the Grande Americano on WWE main show. They should
- 1:10:32Speaker 1: just stay on Triple A because they are actually really
- 1:10:35Speaker 1: good on there. It's a great gimmick for Kaiser. I mean,
- 1:10:39Speaker 1: it changed his whole career, you know, But Gab Gable
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: doesn't need it anymore. Gable's been doing it long enough.
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: Get him out from under that mask and let him
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: move on to something else. Please. Dry Chicken, says Dave
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: Chappelle is more smarter, more smarter than Triple H. I
- 1:11:00Speaker 1: think he may be more smarter than the dry chicken
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: without flavor. Come on, guy, the word more is redundant
- 1:11:10Speaker 1: there in that sentence, so say a professor solo Monster. Also,
- 1:11:15Speaker 1: Nick con needs to give Triple H a six month
- 1:11:17Speaker 1: paid vacation and let Sewn Michaels, the Undertaker, and Bruce
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: take turns being in charge. You lost me a Bruce
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: uh Boss Toys with a fifteen Roman probably tells what
- 1:11:31Speaker 1: he leaves behind in the toilet to acknowledge him. The
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: wind outside, the spider on his ceiling. Acknowledge me. Yes,
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: that's what he'll be telling all of the nurses in
- 1:11:42Speaker 1: the old age home when he's eighty years old. Acknowledge me,
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: and they'll be like, okay, Joe, and then they'll wheel
- 1:11:48Speaker 1: him over to the window. See he get people. Watch
- 1:11:52Speaker 1: as he looks at all the people outside, muttering to himself.
- 1:11:54Speaker 1: Acknowledged me. Acknowledge me to refresh this list here? Oh,
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: we hit the bonuskull. How about that? How about that?
- 1:12:09Speaker 1: Very good? We may hit the regular goal too. A
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: few more likes. I think we may have hit the
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: likes goll diarrhea or die? Oh boy, Dr Low tells
- 1:12:28Speaker 1: you what's on my mind. Dr Low. There, I said
- 1:12:31Speaker 1: it right, See ten dollars super chat, Hello Solo. It's
- 1:12:37Speaker 1: been a long time since I've attended a review. I've
- 1:12:40Speaker 1: attended a live review. College has been a bitch. I'm
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: really starting to crash out WWE product and my autism
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: brain can't take it. Well, apparently I'm also dyslexic. I'm
- 1:12:52Speaker 1: sorry for calling you, Sorry for calling you diarrhea. I
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: just I looked at the name and the first place
- 1:13:01Speaker 1: my mind went to. But I'm glad you could join
- 1:13:06Speaker 1: for a live review and uh look college college can
- 1:13:12Speaker 1: be a bitch, but you'll get through it. I believe
- 1:13:16Speaker 1: in you. Yes, Raw Raw, I got you confused with
- 1:13:21Speaker 1: Raw Raw was diarrhea tonight, not d Arlow. Alex says,
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: can you see Mayu e Watani succeed in today's WWE? No,
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: look at Julia. I'm gonna sit here and tell you
- 1:13:37Speaker 1: that I have faith that Mayui Watani would do well
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: in w W. Mayui Watani as far as her talent,
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: she could do well anywhere in the world. In WWE.
- 1:13:45Speaker 1: Do I have faith that she would be utilized in
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: the way my Mayui Watani should be utilized. Absolutely? Not, No,
- 1:13:52Speaker 1: I don't. Jared Edwards from Tampa Bay went to backlash.
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: Raw tonight was midh Yes, it was justin g sorry
- 1:14:06Speaker 1: half dead tonight. We love you, Solo, It's all good, brother.
- 1:14:11Speaker 1: Were you there? Were you in Knoxville? Boots with a
- 1:14:15Speaker 1: ten dollars super chat. I acknowledge you, Solo. I acknowledge you, Boots,
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: Always acknowledge Boots. The King has spoken, is Julia Japanese?
- 1:14:29Speaker 1: I believe she's half Japanese half Italian. I do believe
- 1:14:36Speaker 1: e J. Slimp. I told you this four years ago,
- 1:14:39Speaker 1: and I'm still waiting for a Crush Dark Side episode.
- 1:14:42Speaker 1: Would Quackenbush Wentz Aries and low Key make good episodes
- 1:14:46Speaker 1: two went Zach Wentz no, uh the other ones? Could?
- 1:14:58Speaker 1: I feel like Crush will Problem get that treatment at
- 1:15:01Speaker 1: some point? Yeah, they do. People like Earthquake and Doink.
- 1:15:08Speaker 1: I would imagine Brian Adams would probably get an episode
- 1:15:10Speaker 1: at some point down the road. Jeremy Rose. Nothing to
- 1:15:15Speaker 1: do with Punk or La Knight. Here's the thought, Triple
- 1:15:17Speaker 1: H Punk Knight feud. I still feel like Punk's going
- 1:15:22Speaker 1: to SmackDown if he's on RAW the next time we
- 1:15:27Speaker 1: see him. I don't feel like he's gonna be on
- 1:15:30Speaker 1: RAW for too much longer. And Boots, I'm answering the
- 1:15:34Speaker 1: double be the booker and hit that like button open Challenge.
- 1:15:38Speaker 1: Look at that The open Challenge has been accepted thanks
- 1:15:45Speaker 1: to brother Boots justin g though with thirty seven months
- 1:15:48Speaker 1: of channel membership thirty seven months already, it says, damn now,
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: I got to hit forty eight. Thanks Solem Monster, Thank
- 1:15:57Speaker 1: you Chat you make these shows sufferable. Well, thank you
- 1:16:03Speaker 1: for your patronage. Yeah, so on nights like this we
- 1:16:06Speaker 1: could all commiserate together. That's why we have a little
- 1:16:09Speaker 1: community here. Eric Newton Channel member here. I stick through
- 1:16:15Speaker 1: the shows because I love pro wrestling, but AW and
- 1:16:18Speaker 1: WWE are making me question my love for with their
- 1:16:21Speaker 1: bad booking of late Yeah, I mean this is not
- 1:16:25Speaker 1: the most exciting period of wrestling, to say the least.
- 1:16:32Speaker 1: Yeah people, the other night on Wednesday, actually during Dynamite,
- 1:16:36Speaker 1: which was not a terrible show by any means, but like,
- 1:16:39Speaker 1: I got the review done. What was it? I think
- 1:16:42Speaker 1: it was sixty minutes. It was like an hour. They're like,
- 1:16:45Speaker 1: oh my god, it cads got to be the fastest
- 1:16:47Speaker 1: review ever. I'm like, I don't know what you want
- 1:16:52Speaker 1: me to say. When I have stuff to talk about,
- 1:16:55Speaker 1: I'll talk about it, you know. When there's not a
- 1:16:58Speaker 1: lot to talk about, I don't know what you want
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: for me. It's kind of the way it goes sometimes. Uffman,
- 1:17:10Speaker 1: Oh that's from the other day, wherever wherever he may be.
- 1:17:15Speaker 1: Never mind Uffman, never mind Alexander calling for Giant Gonzales.
- 1:17:21Speaker 1: Tonight's oh yeah, let's see here. The wheel was five
- 1:17:25Speaker 1: point fifteen and we're currently at five point forty two.
- 1:17:31Speaker 1: So we went from potentially doing nob the Booker to
- 1:17:34Speaker 1: doing two rounds of be the Booker. Tonight. We may
- 1:17:38Speaker 1: well land on the Giant Gonzales again, I hope not.
- 1:17:41Speaker 1: Can you imagine we land on Giant Gonzales and Great
- 1:17:44Speaker 1: Collie in the same match. Can you imagine Giant Gonzales
- 1:17:48Speaker 1: and Great Collie in a Punjabi prison match. It could
- 1:17:53Speaker 1: very well happen tonight. This week's episode is sponsored by Wicks.
- 1:17:58Speaker 1: Up until recently, I I had no idea what vibe
- 1:18:01Speaker 1: coding was, but if you stop and think about it,
- 1:18:03Speaker 1: it's exactly what it sounds like. And now, thanks to
- 1:18:06Speaker 1: wix Harmony, you can vibe code an entire website just
- 1:18:09Speaker 1: by typing in what you want and through the power
- 1:18:12Speaker 1: of AI, you'll get a website that mirrors what you've
- 1:18:15Speaker 1: pictured in your head and is functional right out of
- 1:18:17Speaker 1: the gate. But wix Harmony doesn't force you to use
- 1:18:20Speaker 1: AI for everything. Oh no, no, no, no no. You
- 1:18:23Speaker 1: have options. You can still click and change whatever you
- 1:18:26Speaker 1: want all on your own, or you can click on
- 1:18:29Speaker 1: something then ask Aria, your AI agent, to change it
- 1:18:32Speaker 1: for you. It's actually a really smart tool. It also
- 1:18:35Speaker 1: solves the very annoying problem of having to prompt AI
- 1:18:38Speaker 1: over and over again, even for the smallest changes. This
- 1:18:41Speaker 1: is a lot more efficient and saves you a lot
- 1:18:43Speaker 1: of time and aggravation. Join the millions of businesses that
- 1:18:47Speaker 1: already use Wix and try wix Harmony for free right
- 1:18:50Speaker 1: now at wix dot com slash Harmony. That's wix dot

- 1:18:59Speaker 1: Did you see angels tweet? I have not seen any tweets.
- 1:19:03Speaker 1: I saw a lot of dumb shit tweets all on
- 1:19:05Speaker 1: my own before I went live tonight. I have not
- 1:19:08Speaker 1: looked at Twitter since. I don't think I need to
- 1:19:11Speaker 1: see a tweet though. I could just watch the television
- 1:19:14Speaker 1: show tonight, and as I said before, that tells me
- 1:19:17Speaker 1: everything I need to know about the state of Los
- 1:19:19Speaker 1: Garza in WWE, I would not at all be shocked
- 1:19:21Speaker 1: if they were gone very soon. In retro Koah, why
- 1:19:26Speaker 1: not have the Sena Classic be an annual NXT call
- 1:19:30Speaker 1: up tournament. The actual winner gets called up and fans
- 1:19:33Speaker 1: vote on whoever else does also sure, I mean does
- 1:19:38Speaker 1: any number of ways you could do something like that.
- 1:19:41Speaker 1: I like the idea of main roster talent though interacting
- 1:19:45Speaker 1: with NXT talent. I think that is a great idea.
- 1:19:50Speaker 1: I'm just not sold on the execution of this based
- 1:19:53Speaker 1: on the way he described it, I don't think he
- 1:19:55Speaker 1: is either, especially when the guy pitching the idea literally
- 1:19:59Speaker 1: stands in the ring and goes, man, I hope this works.
- 1:20:03Speaker 1: We have to flush the details out, we have to
- 1:20:07Speaker 1: tweet things a little bit. We still don't even have
- 1:20:09Speaker 1: a date. We don't even know when this is happening.
- 1:20:13Speaker 1: And mentioned the other day there's a Saturday Night's Made
- 1:20:15Speaker 1: event in July of Madison Square Garden. Maybe that's the
- 1:20:17Speaker 1: night to do it, unless they just want to add
- 1:20:20Speaker 1: another pl to the calendar. A mystic Jay, thank you
- 1:20:28Speaker 1: for the five. I'm convinced now that it's probably better
- 1:20:31Speaker 1: if no Joshi's signed to any company here in the States.
- 1:20:34Speaker 1: WWE and AW have not done a great job with
- 1:20:37Speaker 1: them lately. Well, I mean, at least Sheeta's in some
- 1:20:44Speaker 1: sort of story now in AW, so I mean at
- 1:20:48Speaker 1: least there's not But yeah, at the moment, I can't
- 1:20:54Speaker 1: say that any of them are involved in anything terribly great,
- 1:20:58Speaker 1: even that story with her and Statlander. I wouldn't exactly
- 1:21:01Speaker 1: call that a great story, but at least it is
- 1:21:05Speaker 1: a story. And the story of tonight is that we
- 1:21:08Speaker 1: are getting two rounds to be the booker, and we're
- 1:21:10Speaker 1: getting it right now. Ladies and gentlemen, it is now
- 1:21:15Speaker 1: time to be the booker, so let's get into it.
- 1:21:25Speaker 1: ReHO is a ghost. Yeah, Riho shows up and then
- 1:21:28Speaker 1: Riho disappears, and then Riho shows up, and then Riho disappears.
- 1:21:35Speaker 1: I don't know where rio is right now. Maybe she's
- 1:21:40Speaker 1: babysitting Kenny Omega's cat. I don't know. Hey, Larry, thank
- 1:21:48Speaker 1: you for the two bucks. I predicted Gonzales, then tonight
- 1:21:51Speaker 1: I predict Doink. Well, it's a good thing he didn't
- 1:21:55Speaker 1: predict Dink because he's not in here. We have the
- 1:22:04Speaker 1: reigning Hog Tag Team champions, Matt and Jeff Hardy, who
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: will be making an appearance and defending those titles on
- 1:22:13Speaker 1: May twenty second at House of Glory back in New York,
- 1:22:16Speaker 1: a week from Friday. That's where I'll be. I ain't
- 1:22:21Speaker 1: watching SmackDown that night. I'll be at the NYC Arena
- 1:22:31Speaker 1: and it will be the Hardy's defending those titles against
- 1:22:35Speaker 1: the Butcher and the Blade. How do we feel about this?
- 1:22:42Speaker 1: The Butcher and the What are the Butcher and the
- 1:22:44Speaker 1: Blade even up to these days? The Butcher and the Blade?
- 1:23:00Speaker 1: Women's be the Booker Willow Nightingale, the reigning TBS champion,
- 1:23:16Speaker 1: and Willow Nightingale will be defending against Ole. By goodness,
- 1:23:21Speaker 1: what a match? What a match? What a match that
- 1:23:25Speaker 1: would have been? Huh, Bianca Belair against Willow Nightingale? Sign
- 1:23:31Speaker 1: me up for that, and imagine all the women in
- 1:23:35Speaker 1: aw that Bianca could work with a whole new roster
- 1:23:40Speaker 1: of talent for her to work with. To be honest
- 1:23:42Speaker 1: with you, when she comes back to WWE, she will
- 1:23:45Speaker 1: have been gone for so long that she'll have a
- 1:23:47Speaker 1: whole new roster of talent to work with. She'll be
- 1:23:49Speaker 1: working with j C. Jane and soul Ruka, Keana, James, Stephanie.
- 1:24:06Speaker 1: I just hope she could come back. Period. If that
- 1:24:09Speaker 1: finger never heals properly, she may never be cleared and
- 1:24:16Speaker 1: our main event Live Morgan gives you her room key.
- 1:24:24Speaker 1: Now pick a stip, which we're going to be doing
- 1:24:28Speaker 1: in round number two, but I guess we have to
- 1:24:29Speaker 1: pick one. Now we're getting started early here on the steps. Everybody,
- 1:24:35Speaker 1: just stay away from that Punjabi prison. Just stay away
- 1:24:40Speaker 1: from that Punjabi prison. Okay, dog collar we're getting the
- 1:24:43Speaker 1: dog collar match. Dog collar matches are generally very violent.
- 1:24:47Speaker 1: This match here that you see a photo of Roddy
- 1:24:50Speaker 1: Piper legitimately got his ear drum busted by Greg Ballentine.
- 1:24:54Speaker 1: And then, of course, if you think back to CM
- 1:24:56Speaker 1: Punk and MJF, that was a very bloody, very violent
- 1:25:01Speaker 1: dog collar match. Who will do the stipulation? Proud this
- 1:25:08Speaker 1: time the nature boy Rick Flair with the greatest championship
- 1:25:18Speaker 1: belt ever made, the good old winged Eagle. This is
- 1:25:25Speaker 1: an iconic image right here. It's the blue. The blue
- 1:25:31Speaker 1: really brings it out. Rick Flair in a dog collar
- 1:25:39Speaker 1: match against c V Punk, who I just mentioned was
- 1:25:50Speaker 1: in an excellent classic dog collar match. He's going back
- 1:25:56Speaker 1: to the pound, He's going back to the dog match.
- 1:26:03Speaker 1: And actually, you know CM Punk against old school Rick
- 1:26:07Speaker 1: Flair in a dog collar match would be a hell
- 1:26:10Speaker 1: of a match. I have to say, Like I'm talking
- 1:26:12Speaker 1: nineteen eighty nine, nineteen eighty seven, Rick Flair against CM Punk.
- 1:26:17Speaker 1: That was a clean sweep. Yes it was. I almost forgot.
- 1:26:19Speaker 1: Thank you, I almost forgot the sweep sound. Can't miss
- 1:26:25Speaker 1: the sweep sound. What a great match this would have
- 1:26:29Speaker 1: been the promos alone. Yes, yes, indeed, eighty six Flare
- 1:26:37Speaker 1: against twenty eleven Punk in a dog collar match. I'm
- 1:26:43Speaker 1: sure Dave would give it four and three quarter stars, unless,
- 1:26:50Speaker 1: of course, it is held in a certain location, then
- 1:26:54Speaker 1: he might go the full Monty on it, give it
- 1:26:56Speaker 1: the full five. Okay, bonus round. You guys unlocked it,
- 1:27:03Speaker 1: So let's do it. We got stipulations for each of
- 1:27:06Speaker 1: these three matches, and we're not wasting any time here.
- 1:27:14Speaker 1: You know, usually you build to it, you peak with
- 1:27:16Speaker 1: the main event. We are opening with an exploding barbed
- 1:27:23Speaker 1: wire deathmatch, a tag team exploding barbed wire deathmatch, which
- 1:27:32Speaker 1: is very difficult to envision because it has to be
- 1:27:36Speaker 1: Tornado style. Nobody can stand on the apron. It's far
- 1:27:40Speaker 1: too dangerous, so they all need to be in the
- 1:27:44Speaker 1: same ring or in the ring at the same time.
- 1:27:50Speaker 1: Public Enemy, Oh, I think they'll love this. I don't
- 1:27:54Speaker 1: think they'll mind Public Enemy an exploding barbed wire deathmatch.
- 1:28:09Speaker 1: Oh my god, Jesus Christ against Brizongo. There will be
- 1:28:18Speaker 1: no double sweep tonight. There were a lot of viable
- 1:28:26Speaker 1: teams that would have worked well with UH. I feel
- 1:28:29Speaker 1: like it would have worked well with Public Enemy, and
- 1:28:31Speaker 1: this is not one of them. I don't like this match.
- 1:28:35Speaker 1: This doesn't work. This doesn't work for me. Brother, What
- 1:28:45Speaker 1: are you acting? Said? People acting surprised in the chats,
- 1:28:47Speaker 1: fucking Brizongo. I'm not belling Brazongo in Public Enemy in
- 1:28:53Speaker 1: a fucking barbed wire death match. The fuck out of here,
- 1:28:57Speaker 1: anybody of your mind? Last man standing? So we will
- 1:29:06Speaker 1: put a little wo in there, and we'll make it
- 1:29:10Speaker 1: a last woman standing because we're going with the ladies here.
- 1:29:14Speaker 1: As a David, as David Schultz would say, it's a
- 1:29:18Speaker 1: last one man. It's a one man last woman Julia Stardom, Julia,
- 1:29:26Speaker 1: What belt is that? It's the red Belt? I thought
- 1:29:29Speaker 1: I had a name. I guess we'll just call it
- 1:29:31Speaker 1: the Stardom Red Belt. This is this is peek Julia
- 1:29:37Speaker 1: right here, Last woman's standing match with Julia and Mariah
- 1:29:55Speaker 1: May Wow, look at that. Yeah, hired gun podcasts like,
- 1:30:05Speaker 1: it's just a very it's a very unintelligent comment because
- 1:30:11Speaker 1: I don't like what you like. Therefore, people are haters
- 1:30:14Speaker 1: because they don't like what you like. You accept mediocrity.
- 1:30:18Speaker 1: I don't accept mediocrity. That's the difference between you and me.
- 1:30:22Speaker 1: If you want to accept mediocrity, be my guest. That's fine.
- 1:30:27Speaker 1: I have no problem with that. You do, you brother,
- 1:30:32Speaker 1: but don't tell me what to like and what not
- 1:30:34Speaker 1: to like. That's one podcast I will not be listening
- 1:30:39Speaker 1: to is the Hired Gun podcast where everything is rainbows
- 1:30:42Speaker 1: and unicorns. Fuck off with that. That sounds fucking boring.
- 1:30:51Speaker 1: And now our main event, shit, yeah, well, Shill's got
- 1:30:58Speaker 1: a shill. That's what they do. Our main event is
- 1:31:03Speaker 1: going to be a strap match. Get the strap. We
- 1:31:08Speaker 1: got a main event to book. Here we go. Let's
- 1:31:16Speaker 1: see what we got. We got the world's strongest men,
- 1:31:24Speaker 1: that is what we got. We got Mark Henry in
- 1:31:28Speaker 1: a strap match. One yank of the strap, though, and
- 1:31:31Speaker 1: you're gonna go flying across the ring. It's it's almost unfair. Hm. Wow,
- 1:31:47Speaker 1: talk about talk about a hoss fight Mark Henry and
- 1:31:50Speaker 1: Big Bronson Reid in a strap match. I like that.
- 1:32:01Speaker 1: I'd watch that match. I don't even think you need
- 1:32:05Speaker 1: the strap for that. Just put those two guys in
- 1:32:07Speaker 1: the ring together and let them just beat the hell
- 1:32:08Speaker 1: out of each other. That sounds good to me. It's
- 1:32:14Speaker 1: right meat meet madness, as they say, is what that
- 1:32:19Speaker 1: match is? Some good shit there, man. I think we
- 1:32:27Speaker 1: booked some good ones there tonight, if I do say
- 1:32:29Speaker 1: so myself. We didn't get the sweep there in round two,
- 1:32:31Speaker 1: but I think we did pretty well. We got a
- 1:32:38Speaker 1: bunch of messages here to get to you guys want
- 1:32:40Speaker 1: to keep the party going. That's fine with me. Hey,
- 1:32:42Speaker 1: Firepan to thank you for forty three months of membership.
- 1:32:47Speaker 1: I think Bully Ray won for sad tweet of the Week. Yeah,
- 1:32:52Speaker 1: I just saw. I saw some stuff. He was just
- 1:32:54Speaker 1: saying something about CZW and I guess fans who misbehaved
- 1:33:00Speaker 1: during a ten bell salute to Eddie Guerrero years ago?
- 1:33:02Speaker 1: Is that? Is that what I was. I was trying to,
- 1:33:05Speaker 1: like halfway pay attention to what was going on, but
- 1:33:08Speaker 1: I gotta be honest, I really was not interested. I
- 1:33:12Speaker 1: was busy preparing for Uncrowned tomorrow brand new episode. By
- 1:33:17Speaker 1: the way, there you go, the Uncrowned Wrestling podcast dropping
- 1:33:21Speaker 1: tomorrow Chicago for MBK, thank you for the two bucks.
- 1:33:30Speaker 1: Clavy Man oh seven, who's in tonight's I for an eye,
- 1:33:35Speaker 1: I wonder, and no eye for an eye matches tonight. Hey, Polaris,
- 1:33:39Speaker 1: great meeting you too, brother. I met a lot of
- 1:33:41Speaker 1: really cool people in La. Oh. I didn't meet the
- 1:33:47Speaker 1: Learning Tree though, but I got to meet Polaris, and
- 1:33:51Speaker 1: I got to meet Lucas, and I got to meet God.
- 1:33:56Speaker 1: I met so many people. James, I told you eventually
- 1:34:03Speaker 1: I would get out to la and I missed it
- 1:34:07Speaker 1: in January, but I was not going to miss it
- 1:34:08Speaker 1: this time, so I was happy to see everybody there. Well,
- 1:34:11Speaker 1: we'll be out there again in a few months. Abystle
- 1:34:16Speaker 1: Zones been watching full Raw episodes since the Netflix premiere,
- 1:34:20Speaker 1: but tonight was so boring. I finally hit the point
- 1:34:23Speaker 1: where I couldn't keep it up anymore. Yeah, it's just
- 1:34:28Speaker 1: very dead. It's just very very dead. MGM ball and
- 1:34:35Speaker 1: gonna make another case for Tony Soprano and be the booker.
- 1:34:38Speaker 1: He did a wicked curb stomp in season six? Was
- 1:34:43Speaker 1: that too, Coco? I believe probably the most satisfying scene
- 1:34:49Speaker 1: in the season, if not the entire show, the sound
- 1:34:54Speaker 1: of the teeth hitting the floor, though I WinCE even
- 1:34:59Speaker 1: thinking about it, not to say he didn't have it coming. Though,
- 1:35:05Speaker 1: fire Panda solo. Do you have a favorite awful match?
- 1:35:08Speaker 1: Thank you, by the way, fire Panda for the fifty
- 1:35:11Speaker 1: dollars Gundhar. Fire Panda always knows how to deliver in
- 1:35:14Speaker 1: the clutch. Oh, do I have a favorite like kind
- 1:35:19Speaker 1: of like a guilty pleasure awful match. I don't know.
- 1:35:25Speaker 1: There have been so many awful matches over the years,
- 1:35:27Speaker 1: but usually they're just so awful I have no interest
- 1:35:30Speaker 1: in going back to see them. For example, the Kennel
- 1:35:33Speaker 1: from Hell at Unforgiven in ninety nine, So that's one
- 1:35:38Speaker 1: of those disasters that I wouldn't say is a fun
- 1:35:41Speaker 1: bad match that I often go back and watch. I
- 1:35:45Speaker 1: don't go back and watch bad matches. I can't say
- 1:35:49Speaker 1: that I have a favorite. I'm trying to think, though,
- 1:35:57Speaker 1: favorite bad match HBK versus Hulk that but that was
- 1:36:05Speaker 1: not a bad match, though he over sold for Hogan,
- 1:36:10Speaker 1: but it was actually by especially by Hogan standards in
- 1:36:12Speaker 1: five it was actually a pretty good match. Ah the
- 1:36:17Speaker 1: hog Pen match. Yah, it's funny you mentioned that I
- 1:36:20Speaker 1: just watched the hog Pen match. It was it was
- 1:36:23Speaker 1: one of the things on the Vault. Actually the Vault
- 1:36:24Speaker 1: uploaded the hog Pen match and sometime in the last
- 1:36:27Speaker 1: few months. Yeah, I mean that that could be that
- 1:36:33Speaker 1: could be a match. Maybe I throw on the list. No, no, no,
- 1:36:37Speaker 1: the blindfold match is a great match. I will fight
- 1:36:39Speaker 1: anybody who says that Jake Roberts and Rick Martell blindfold
- 1:36:42Speaker 1: match or WRESTLEMANI it was a bad match. You don't
- 1:36:45Speaker 1: know pro wrestling. If you thought that was a bad match,
- 1:36:48Speaker 1: you don't know what pro wrestling is. I will I
- 1:36:51Speaker 1: will shame you. I will throw you in the shame corner.
- 1:36:55Speaker 1: That's a great match. It's a great match, and it's
- 1:36:58Speaker 1: a great lesson in how to get the fans involved.
- 1:37:01Speaker 1: I mean, Jake was a master at it was. It
- 1:37:05Speaker 1: was a very entertaining match, served its purpose. I thought
- 1:37:10Speaker 1: it was great for what it was supposed to be.
- 1:37:16Speaker 1: Warm corn Toga loa super fan, I'm calling you out.
- 1:37:23Speaker 1: This is for the Tonga. This is for the Tonga.
- 1:37:26Speaker 1: Loa hater. You beat him in the barbed wire taco
- 1:37:29Speaker 1: bell match. You and me Wendy's Inferno match. A Wendy's
- 1:37:36Speaker 1: Inferno matchuh a, sendpai, have a good night, and Yuki
- 1:37:45Speaker 1: oh rules. At least no one got hit in the
- 1:37:48Speaker 1: face with any white stuff tonight. Well, if they would have,
- 1:37:52Speaker 1: that would have been more exciting than almost anything else
- 1:37:55Speaker 1: we saw on Monday Night, Bro. But alas, yes, there
- 1:37:59Speaker 1: was no There was no white stuff being shot up
- 1:38:03Speaker 1: into someone's face tonight. There's always next week. EJ Slam
- 1:38:07Speaker 1: with the four ninety nine. I've been watching a lot
- 1:38:10Speaker 1: of old school wrestling lately, and honestly I feel more
- 1:38:13Speaker 1: connected to Race, Backwinkle, and Funk than Bruno or Backland.
- 1:38:21Speaker 1: Yeah I don't. I mean, I don't know if I
- 1:38:22Speaker 1: would say I feel more connected to them. But if
- 1:38:27Speaker 1: you were to give me the option of watching Bruno
- 1:38:30Speaker 1: and Backland matches or watching Race or Backwinkle matches, I
- 1:38:34Speaker 1: would watch Raisin Backwin. Bockwinkle. Backwinkle and Heenan were a
- 1:38:41Speaker 1: tremendous pairing in the AWA, which I never really fully
- 1:38:45Speaker 1: appreciated because I didn't watch the AWA back then. I
- 1:38:49Speaker 1: didn't have access to it, I didn't watch it. So
- 1:38:51Speaker 1: my knowledge of Heenen really started with the Heenen family
- 1:38:55Speaker 1: in WWF, you know, not knowing at the time that
- 1:38:59Speaker 1: the heena and family was a thing even before the WWF.
- 1:39:03Speaker 1: But you go back and watch old Bockwinkle title defenses,
- 1:39:06Speaker 1: and you know him and Heenan together and they were
- 1:39:08Speaker 1: a great pairing. Bockwinkle was a great champion, a great wrestler.
- 1:39:19Speaker 1: Don Stony, thank you for the five shout out as
- 1:39:24Speaker 1: always the DTKC Spitball Media Wrestling Soup, and as always
- 1:39:28Speaker 1: keV Castle shout out to keV and Justin g theme
- 1:39:41Speaker 1: theme with well, oh, a theme that had no right
- 1:39:47Speaker 1: to go so hard the stud Stable. I'll tell you what, man,
- 1:39:55Speaker 1: I don't know if it ever made TV or not,
- 1:39:58Speaker 1: because I do remember it being it might have been
- 1:40:01Speaker 1: an off air thing that I saw, but in NXT
- 1:40:06Speaker 1: when they were still at full sale and Eric Bugenhagen
- 1:40:11Speaker 1: was still there right the or some people would know
- 1:40:14Speaker 1: him later on Rick Boogs, he had an instrumental theme
- 1:40:18Speaker 1: that he would come out to. That theme had no
- 1:40:22Speaker 1: right going as hard as it did, and I really
- 1:40:26Speaker 1: wish he would have brought that up to TV. But yeah,
- 1:40:32Speaker 1: you can find examples of wrestlers who had a theme
- 1:40:35Speaker 1: song that just I mean demolition of course, like the
- 1:40:39Speaker 1: Rick Derringer theme that went hard. It's a great song
- 1:40:43Speaker 1: to this day, it's a great song. It's timeless. Four Horsemen.
- 1:40:50Speaker 1: Four Horsemen had a few different themes. My favorite Four
- 1:40:54Speaker 1: Horsemen theme was not the one with the galloping the
- 1:40:57Speaker 1: galloping horses. That was good, not saying it wasn't, but
- 1:41:02Speaker 1: my favorite one was the one they used. It was
- 1:41:04Speaker 1: sometime in the mid nineties, and it sounded. The best
- 1:41:07Speaker 1: way I could describe it is it sounded like something
- 1:41:09Speaker 1: out of like a porn movie. It was a great song, though.
- 1:41:15Speaker 1: It was a great song. Clay v Man says Wendy's
- 1:41:20Speaker 1: Inferno match bathroom bral bathroom brawl. Now you're thinking of
- 1:41:24Speaker 1: Taco Bell Inferno match. I'm sure there have been many
- 1:41:28Speaker 1: infernos in the Taco Bell bathroom over the years. Warm
- 1:41:33Speaker 1: Corn also pinfalls will count to ten thousand in our match.
- 1:41:40Speaker 1: That sounds terrible and lost dil with a nine ninety nine.
- 1:41:54Speaker 1: Does TKO slash wwe refuse to play Joe Hendry's music
- 1:41:58Speaker 1: or what? And if yes, why would that be his
- 1:42:02Speaker 1: music would immediately introduce his character to new people. I
- 1:42:08Speaker 1: don't disagree. I don't know if it's some sort of
- 1:42:13Speaker 1: rights thing where they just don't really want to play
- 1:42:16Speaker 1: it on their show. I don't have a good answer
- 1:42:18Speaker 1: for you. Tonight, he just magically showed up at ringside
- 1:42:21Speaker 1: and was playing guitar. That's how they introduced him tonight.
- 1:42:24Speaker 1: He didn't get an entrance. Don't have a good answer
- 1:42:30Speaker 1: for you. Do I remember Rob Conway? I do. He
- 1:42:36Speaker 1: had a very memorable theme song himself. Sounded very Randy
- 1:42:42Speaker 1: Newman esque. Definitely sounded like a Randy Newman song. Didn't
- 1:42:53Speaker 1: Alias even get a CD. Yes, I believe Elias came
- 1:42:59Speaker 1: out with his own album when he was in WWE.
- 1:43:03Speaker 1: I believe the name of it was Universal Truth, and
- 1:43:06Speaker 1: as I said at the time, universal being one of
- 1:43:09Speaker 1: the many titles that he will never win. And I
- 1:43:13Speaker 1: was right. See solo Monster is always right. The Winston
- 1:43:19Speaker 1: slip your favorite last Man's Standing match Triple H and
- 1:43:24Speaker 1: christ Jerica Fully Loaded two thousand is definitely one of
- 1:43:29Speaker 1: my favorites. Like, when I think of last man's standing matches,
- 1:43:37Speaker 1: that's usually the first one I'll come to. It's usually
- 1:43:41Speaker 1: the first one I'll think of. For some reason, I
- 1:43:47Speaker 1: thought Rock and Triple H had one, but no, they
- 1:43:50Speaker 1: had a strap match, they had a ladder match, and
- 1:43:52Speaker 1: they had an Iron Man match and a cage match.
- 1:43:58Speaker 1: I don't think they ever had a last Man's standing though. Yes,
- 1:44:05Speaker 1: Milmaerts and Luca Underground. He had a great theme. So yeah,
- 1:44:14Speaker 1: super Pony, I think you're right. I think he thought
- 1:44:18Speaker 1: Raw was was a fantastic show tonight. Yeah, good for him.
- 1:44:28Speaker 1: Was it Midian and Viscera that came out to a
- 1:44:30Speaker 1: generic version of Demolition? No, I don't think so. The
- 1:44:38Speaker 1: Winston slips still mad that Jericho never beat Triple H officially,
- 1:44:44Speaker 1: Well there's a reason for that, warm corn I almost
- 1:44:48Speaker 1: forgot naked. Midian is our referee. Except no, I will not.
- 1:44:52Speaker 1: I will never accept that. Yeah, Triple H and Y
- 1:44:58Speaker 1: two J again that that that one of Full Loaded.
- 1:45:01Speaker 1: I actually have a lot of fond memories of that
- 1:45:03Speaker 1: Fully Loaded show. I remember what they were trying to
- 1:45:07Speaker 1: do at that time, because that pay per view they
- 1:45:09Speaker 1: were really trying to push. I mean, they weren't like
- 1:45:12Speaker 1: new new like they had just gotten to the company
- 1:45:15Speaker 1: or anything. But Jericho was less than a year in,
- 1:45:18Speaker 1: Ben Wah was less than a year in, Kurt Angle
- 1:45:20Speaker 1: was less than a year in, and they were all
- 1:45:22Speaker 1: featured in big matches on that show. So they headlined
- 1:45:25Speaker 1: with Rock and Benoo who had a very good match.
- 1:45:28Speaker 1: They had Undertaker against Angle, and I don't remember too
- 1:45:35Speaker 1: much about that match, and then they had Rock or
- 1:45:37Speaker 1: Triple H in Jericho, which was excellent. It was an
- 1:45:44Speaker 1: excellent match. Yeah, Rock and Benoa was great. If I remember.
- 1:45:51Speaker 1: I think Rock and Benwa I think they did a
- 1:45:53Speaker 1: false finish in that match where ben Wah won, but
- 1:45:56Speaker 1: then the match got restarted. I'm remembering correct. Any update
- 1:46:05Speaker 1: on the Lucha Underground news nothing nothing. I'm starting to
- 1:46:10Speaker 1: think it probably is something like the old episodes being
- 1:46:14Speaker 1: hosted in some new place, because if it was some
- 1:46:20Speaker 1: sort of actual, you know, revival, people would know about it.
- 1:46:26Speaker 1: You know, people would have to be higher, there would
- 1:46:28Speaker 1: be some sort of project, and nobody knows what the
- 1:46:31Speaker 1: hell it is, so it's probably tied into the old episodes,
- 1:46:35Speaker 1: would be my guess. Yes, ben Watch cheated to win,
- 1:46:42Speaker 1: and then fully that's right, Commissioner fully restarted the match
- 1:46:45Speaker 1: and the Rock won. That's right. Don't forget the Broods theme.
- 1:46:54Speaker 1: I don't think any of us who were watching back
- 1:46:55Speaker 1: then will ever forget the Brud's theme, the Broods theme,
- 1:46:59Speaker 1: and the whole press was great. Lucha above Ground coming
- 1:47:06Speaker 1: in twenty twenty seven, I think we have enough Lucha
- 1:47:09Speaker 1: above ground these days. We get a lot of lucha
- 1:47:15Speaker 1: these days. Crash Crash Holly's theme so generic but went hard.
- 1:47:25Speaker 1: They used a lot of generic production music back then.
- 1:47:29Speaker 1: The Hardy's music, The Hardy Boys music is a production track.
- 1:47:33Speaker 1: I still hear it in commercials from time to time. Yes,
- 1:47:38Speaker 1: that's right. Yes, the Rakishi dive off the cage onto
- 1:47:47Speaker 1: val dumb shit, that's right. That was also on that show,
- 1:47:51Speaker 1: and nobody ever talks about it. Nobody ever talks about that.
- 1:47:54Speaker 1: To me, that is one of the more impressive sites, spots, stunts,
- 1:48:00Speaker 1: whatever you want to call it, that WWE has ever done.
- 1:48:05Speaker 1: My palms were like I remember watching that, My palms
- 1:48:08Speaker 1: were sweaty because you got the just the regular mesh
- 1:48:13Speaker 1: cage and Rakeshi's a big guy, you know, he's up
- 1:48:17Speaker 1: there and he's got the big ass and everything. He
- 1:48:20Speaker 1: could very easily tip over and fall backwards. And he
- 1:48:23Speaker 1: climbs to the top, like the tippy top of that cage,
- 1:48:27Speaker 1: and he's in the corner and he's holding onto the beam,
- 1:48:30Speaker 1: like the corner beam, and it would be scary enough
- 1:48:34Speaker 1: if he did like a big splash from the top
- 1:48:36Speaker 1: of the cage there, but man, he starts to inch
- 1:48:40Speaker 1: his way over towards the center, and he's he has
- 1:48:42Speaker 1: nothing to hold on to, and he's just inching over slowly, inching, inching,
- 1:48:48Speaker 1: inching until he gets to the center and he does
- 1:48:52Speaker 1: this dramatic like just look straight ahead, and the hardcam
- 1:48:57Speaker 1: gets a zoom in like a close up shot of
- 1:48:59Speaker 1: his face, and the building feels like it's shaking. I
- 1:49:02Speaker 1: think you see the camera shaking, and I'm just like,
- 1:49:05Speaker 1: I'm sweating bullets over here and I'm not even in
- 1:49:08Speaker 1: the match. And then you also like, what must Valve
- 1:49:11Speaker 1: be thinking as he's laying there on the mat down
- 1:49:13Speaker 1: below taking this spot. You see this giant man jumping
- 1:49:18Speaker 1: off the top of the cage and he's gonna land
- 1:49:20Speaker 1: on top of you and knock all the wind out
- 1:49:22Speaker 1: of you, and it's like, holy shit, that could have
- 1:49:25Speaker 1: gone so wrong, but it was incredible. How that's not
- 1:49:31Speaker 1: in all the like opening montages or highlight package when
- 1:49:36Speaker 1: they have classic foo I have no idea that's more
- 1:49:40Speaker 1: impressive than most. Yeah, Undertaker threw him off the hell
- 1:49:47Speaker 1: in a cell, but to me, that's not as impressive.
- 1:49:51Speaker 1: The Rakishi cage match bump with Valvenus is far more impressive.
- 1:49:56Speaker 1: To me. Even though the Hell in a Cell is
- 1:49:58Speaker 1: technically a little bit higher. All it wasn't even a
- 1:50:02Speaker 1: choke slam. All Undertaker did was just shove. You just
- 1:50:04Speaker 1: shoved them backwards. And there's this giant truck with all
- 1:50:08Speaker 1: the hay that was his landing pad. That looked easy
- 1:50:14Speaker 1: compared to what he did in the matter of vowel. Yeah,
- 1:50:20Speaker 1: It's why I always say Man WWE in two thousand
- 1:50:24Speaker 1: to me, I think overall, top to bottom, that's their
- 1:50:27Speaker 1: best year creatively talent. They had the killer matches that
- 1:50:34Speaker 1: they put on. She's probably just the overall excitement of
- 1:50:38Speaker 1: the product. Two thousand to me is like peak it is.
- 1:50:43Speaker 1: Look at all the pay per views they did that year,
- 1:50:45Speaker 1: so many great pay per views, Royal Rumble, Backlash, fully Loaded,
- 1:50:56Speaker 1: Judgment Day. Yeah, a great year. Great video game too, huh.
- 1:51:05Speaker 1: I didn't play too much of it, but they did
- 1:51:06Speaker 1: have a Wrestle many a two thousand video game. Yeah,
- 1:51:12Speaker 1: And that's considering that that year they barely had any
- 1:51:15Speaker 1: Steve Austin stone Cold was out for like nine months
- 1:51:18Speaker 1: that year. Rock and Triple h men. I mean they
- 1:51:22Speaker 1: had a great supporting cast of characters with the radicals
- 1:51:25Speaker 1: and Kurt Angle and Rakishi and Shane McMahon was going
- 1:51:31Speaker 1: out there having crazy. I mean, think about this. I
- 1:51:35Speaker 1: mean that was the year where Shane had the match
- 1:51:38Speaker 1: with Kurt Angle at the King of the Ring. And
- 1:51:41Speaker 1: I think it was SummerSlam that year, right that he
- 1:51:43Speaker 1: had that hardcore match with Steve Blackman where he took
- 1:51:45Speaker 1: that just insane backwards bump off the beam, the scaffolding,
- 1:51:52Speaker 1: whatever you want to call it, like fifty feet backwards.
- 1:51:56Speaker 1: He just falls backwards. Who does that? Who does that?
- 1:52:03Speaker 1: He does because he's out of his mind? Warm corn
- 1:52:11Speaker 1: two thousand was a good year. But WrestleMania two thousand, no, well,
- 1:52:14Speaker 1: I said the video, Yeah, I didn't mean wre Yeah,
- 1:52:16Speaker 1: WrestleMania itself that year was yeah, no, absolutely not. Oh
- 1:52:27Speaker 1: two thousand and one King of the Ring, right, right, right,
- 1:52:30Speaker 1: But it was two thousand SummerSlam, I believe when he
- 1:52:34Speaker 1: took that bump from Steve Blackman. There's James, The year
- 1:52:43Speaker 1: two thousand is when I became a wrestling fan. He says, well,
- 1:52:49Speaker 1: congrats twenty six years of you being a wrestling fan.
- 1:52:53Speaker 1: Are you feeling old yet? The monster playing WrestleMania two
- 1:53:01Speaker 1: thousand would be better than Raw. Yes, I think I
- 1:53:11Speaker 1: think solo Monster watching WrestleMania two thousand times would be
- 1:53:16Speaker 1: better than Raw. Harry says, I've been a wrestling fan
- 1:53:22Speaker 1: for twenty seven years. Wow, and Joe, that Joe guy's
- 1:53:31Speaker 1: got you all beat. It's like, wait until you get
- 1:53:34Speaker 1: to forty one years of watching pro wrestling. Is he
- 1:53:37Speaker 1: has spoken like a true grizzled vett. He's seen some shit,
- 1:53:47Speaker 1: he's been in the trenches. You're like me, Well, thank
- 1:53:55Speaker 1: you guys for hanging out with me on a Monday night.
- 1:53:58Speaker 1: We always have to try to enter retain ourselves, especially
- 1:54:01Speaker 1: at nights like this, where I just thought on the
- 1:54:03Speaker 1: whole We're aw was pretty boring tonight. It had its moments,
- 1:54:08Speaker 1: but yeah, not the most exciting show. Jeremy says, WrestleMania
- 1:54:13Speaker 1: two thousand sucks, but the pay per view had a
- 1:54:16Speaker 1: cool look. It had a cool song. That song California.
- 1:54:25Speaker 1: Do you know? I was one of the schmucks who
- 1:54:27Speaker 1: actually sat through WrestleMania all day long, the big, the
- 1:54:31Speaker 1: big pre show thing, which was like six actually no,
- 1:54:34Speaker 1: it was like it wasn't six hours. I think it
- 1:54:38Speaker 1: was like ten hours. Yeah, I was one of the idiots.
- 1:54:43Speaker 1: Who sat through it. That was before WrestleMania even started
- 1:54:47Speaker 1: that night. That was actually better than WrestleMania that night.
- 1:54:55Speaker 1: So tomorrow some programming notes here. Tomorrow, as I said before,
- 1:55:00Speaker 1: is a brand new episode of The Uncrowned Wrestling Show
- 1:55:03Speaker 1: dropping later in the afternoon. You know where to go
- 1:55:06Speaker 1: for that. If not, check the description down below. I
- 1:55:09Speaker 1: have a link to the feed for the Uncrowned Wrestling Show.
- 1:55:13Speaker 1: There will be no Tuesday Night Titans tomorrow. One of
- 1:55:16Speaker 1: the Titans will not be here, so we cannot do
- 1:55:19Speaker 1: the show. However, we will be doing TNT but on
- 1:55:23Speaker 1: Thursday Night for one week only, so we will be
- 1:55:27Speaker 1: bumping the show back by two days. Wednesday night is
- 1:55:30Speaker 1: the Dynamite post show. Friday Night is the SmackDown post show,
- 1:55:35Speaker 1: and then we have a brand new SoundOff next Sunday
- 1:55:38Speaker 1: and the cycle repeats all over again. So that is
- 1:55:41Speaker 1: where you can find me. I hope you will join.
- 1:55:43Speaker 1: I hope you will tune in. Yes, I was also
- 1:55:48Speaker 1: one of the schmucks who paid eight dollars for a sock. Yes,
- 1:55:51Speaker 1: mister Soco. I bought mister Soko from WWE shop. They
- 1:55:56Speaker 1: only gave me one sock. I paid eight dollars plus shipping,
- 1:56:01Speaker 1: so technically I pay twelve dollars for one sock. I
- 1:56:06Speaker 1: still have that sock. By the way, maybe we'll bust
- 1:56:10Speaker 1: out mister Soko one of these nights, and when we
- 1:56:14Speaker 1: have another show like this, I can strangle myself with
- 1:56:16Speaker 1: mister Soco, I will shove the sock down my own
- 1:56:20Speaker 1: throat under my mandible and give myself the mandible claw.
- 1:56:24Speaker 1: Maybe Friday, the way SmackDown's been going, that could happen
- 1:56:28Speaker 1: this week. Be well, stay safe and I will see
- 1:56:34Speaker 1: you guys back here Wednesday night for the Dynamite post show.
- 1:56:39Speaker 1: Come on by. We'll try to do be the booker again.
- 1:56:42Speaker 1: Until then, I want you to acknowledge me.
