- 0:00You think of a real or a social media post like a seed out there
- 0:06all by itself, doing its job, linked to SEO, hashtags and
- 0:11keywords in your post. And.
- 0:14Depending on what kind of audience you have, seeing the
- 0:19growth, seeing each individual post act like a way to get a
- 0:29client, get the word out about you.
- 0:33So if you're a small business out there, that's what I do and
- 0:38I love doing it and I'm good at it.
- 0:42You want to think of those personalities under your roof.
- 0:47The funny guy in the kitchen nobody sees in your restaurant.
- 0:50Film him. Show the people who's cooking
- 0:54their food. You'll get more people.
- 0:57That's the tip for today. Go hiking.
- 1:33The views and opinions. Expressed on the morning wood
- 1:35show are strictly those of a crazy.
- 1:37Lady in a tree. And most definitely not the
- 1:40views of military broadcast radio.
- 1:42You've been warned. Proceed with caution.
- 1:45We are not liable if you laugh so hard you fall out of your
- 1:48chair. So grab your spoon.
- 1:50Smack that rooster. And let's get this day started
- 1:52right. Let's get ready for the morning
- 1:55wood Cool Cadoodle. The station where our veterans
- 2:19voices are heard. MBR.
- 2:20Talk. Hey, thanks for tuning in.
- 2:25Welcome are those of the speakers and do not necessarily
- 2:30reflect the views or positions of any entities they represent.
- 2:34The web at MB radio dot. Good morning, good people.
- 2:43You've tuned in live to the Morning Witch show here on MB
- 2:47Radio. dot US. We're broadcasting straight out
- 2:50of Veterans Voices Studio where we give veterans and 1st
- 2:53responders the mic, the respect, and the real talk they deserve.
- 2:58It's a brand new day and you know what?
- 3:00It's time to rise and sizzle. We've got a stack show for you
- 3:09today at the top of the hour. We're talking all things custom
- 3:13and embroidered with special guest.
- 3:15You don't want to miss this. Chris Forbes from Sensation
- 3:18Design will be in the building. And then later we're going to do
- 3:22some fun stuff with Vicki and HD, but they're going to be, you
- 3:25know, our, our, our favorite chirp chirps.
- 3:28I'm back here. I'm lurking.
- 3:29Don't worry people. And let's give it up for H are
- 3:33why? Are we giving it up for H for?
- 3:36We're giving it up to you because you know you are a lean,
- 3:39mean show machine and you are the heart behind this
- 3:42organization. And I think you need a Super
- 3:45Friday. Whoop.
- 3:46How many shows were you on today or this week?
- 3:51Hey, you already got the job. You don't have to kiss ass
- 3:53already, you know. Hey, I, I tell you what, we, we
- 4:00did something that no other Internet radio station has done
- 4:06here in Colorado, at least best of my knowledge, and that is we
- 4:11went on double remote. We went on a remote off grid.
- 4:16So with that being said, the reason why I bring that up, if
- 4:20you are a nonprofit or you're a business and you would like us
- 4:24to come and broadcast from your location, give us a call message
- 4:31Holly the morning show. We can totally do that, you
- 4:35know. Our numbers right there.
- 4:38Yep. Yeah, you can.
- 4:39Emails right there. Hit us up.
- 4:42Let us know if you want us there.
- 4:44Reach out and you know when we have these guests, this is a
- 4:46time for you guys to either interact with us on YouTube, on
- 4:51YouTube at MB radio dot US on Facebook.
- 4:55You could do MB radio talk talk and then the morning wood show
- 5:00on Facebook. You put your little question in
- 5:03that chat, you know, and we have a really cool guest coming up.
- 5:06And I mean, I'm not sure if you noticed my sparkly sparkly hat.
- 5:11Yeah. You know, usually a table cover
- 5:14this, this is just throwing us out there, OK.
- 5:17Usually if you do a table cover for your business it's going to
- 5:20cost you like 405 hundred bucks. 500 yash Max.
- 5:24At least, OK, this guy, I don't know how he does it, but you
- 5:29know, it's going to be under $300.00 and it's only taking
- 5:35like 6-7 days. It hasn't even taken that long
- 5:38and he's going to be bringing it today so you'll be able to see
- 5:42the NBR table cover. It's you know, so I I just made
- 5:47the morning wood logo come alive.
- 5:49I like to say I did, but Chris, Chris Forbes, who's going to be
- 5:53joining us at the top of the hour, really took just something
- 5:57that I've, I've just kind of had fun with and, you know, took it
- 6:02to the next level. Detailed vector filed it.
- 6:05And I can't tell you how excited I was to see like this come
- 6:11alive. So if think of everybody who
- 6:14needs T-shirts out there or, you know, logos or, you know,
- 6:18especially bars, you know, I, I, there's a place like right up
- 6:22the road here called The Dirty Duck.
- 6:24And last year I was like, I, I like to get my son T-shirts that
- 6:28are like ridiculous, right? So someone's like, what, why are
- 6:33you wearing that T-shirt? So I went into The Dirty duck
- 6:36just to buy a T-shirt. I wandered in there and said, do
- 6:40you guys have any T-shirts? Can I get a large?
- 6:42And they said, Oh, we just ran out of our merch.
- 6:43And I was like, I just wanted AT shirt that said Dirty Duck.
- 6:49So you turned in the wario for a second.
- 6:52You know, and I and I and I, I totally forgot I should have
- 6:55wore them because I know that you guys would love to see my
- 6:58legs, but Tracer sent me a gift in the mail.
- 7:02She got me a pair of duck. I don't know if they're swim
- 7:05trunks or boxer shorts, but they're they're a pair of shorts
- 7:09with ducks on it. And I totally didn't wear them
- 7:13today. And yeah, I made a Boo, Boo.
- 7:15But for if Tracer's listening today, I wanted to say thank you
- 7:20and look good. Yeah, I look real good.
- 7:24And Tracer is in New York right now.
- 7:27She's getting, she's graduating from college, She's getting her
- 7:31master's degree. So big, huge Congrats.
- 7:34To the. Tracer and before before I
- 7:40forgive this week's mail call, we got a special one.
- 7:45Play it. Is that the what would miss
- 7:49Vicki? Do no, no.
- 7:51I'll like you put the mail call. In Oh shoot all.
- 7:54Right. Don't worry, we'll keep keep.
- 7:57We, we, we could, we could talk about something crazy that has
- 8:00just happened in Denver. So there has been a truly wild
- 8:05discovery. While drilling for geothermal
- 8:10heating under its own parking lot, Denver's Museum of Nature
- 8:16and Science unearthed a 67.5 million year old dinosaur
- 8:23vertebra with fossilized plants. And so they pretty much
- 8:31unearthed the whole bunch of stuff they can make an exhibit
- 8:33out of, which I think it's pretty cool.
- 8:37And if you haven't been to the date, the Denver's Nature, what
- 8:42is it? Nature and Science Museum?
- 8:44Oh God, I could. And and it's free for.
- 8:46Veterans. Yeah, it's free for veterans.
- 8:49Go. Yeah, yeah.
- 8:52Wow. I tell you what, I I thought we
- 8:54was going to get ready to speak into a, a conspiracy theory, You
- 8:59know, talking about what's under the DIA, what's under the
- 9:03sniffer, museum science. Well, let's try this again.
- 9:06Let's try the mail. Call Nixon.
- 9:09Attention Mail. Call Hartman.
- 9:14Hartman. Hartman here's what we do is Mr.
- 9:29Travis Perrington. He does the OM Radio show here
- 9:34on MB Radio. We want to say congratulations
- 9:37to him because he just won an award.
- 9:40He is number 14th in the world for a military podcast and we
- 9:46just wanted to honor him and say good job.
- 9:50Congratulations. You know, that's what it's all
- 9:54about. Hot 15, baby.
- 9:56That's what it's all about. And, and just so you everybody
- 9:59knows if you, if you're starting out podcasting, OK, don't ask
- 10:04other people what like their downloads are because you're
- 10:07just going to get discouraged. Just know that, you know,
- 10:11sometimes it takes eight or nine years to get your name out
- 10:14there. Sometimes it takes eight or nine
- 10:16years to, to get the routine, you know, in, in full force.
- 10:22And that's what he's done. He's, he's closing up.
- 10:26Yesterday he closed up his eight-year podcast going on #9
- 10:31starting next Thursday. I just want to say
- 10:34congratulations. And, you know, he, he, he, he
- 10:38posted something and I told him, and I'm going to tell everybody
- 10:42here, you know, don't get discouraged when people try to
- 10:49steal your shine, OK? Because it's going to happen.
- 10:53People are going to try to steal your shine.
- 10:55And stay away from those people. Yeah, just just stay away from
- 10:58because remember in a garden of people, OK, you have to pull out
- 11:03those weeds, even if those weeds look pretty.
- 11:09Hey, but. Podcasting's an adventure.
- 11:14And and if it's something you're curious about, I remember
- 11:18falling in love with podcasting, going to the Colorado media
- 11:21school, thinking I'm going to be in this big radio star, right.
- 11:26And podcasting was really structured at the time.
- 11:30I think I still have the packet like your, your, your free, your
- 11:34free talk for 12 minutes into a into a music break into your
- 11:38commercials. OK, don't I'm not going to go
- 11:40there completely. But the point is that if it's
- 11:44something you want to do, like start recording yourself or
- 11:47start doing vlogs because it's it's an adventure and it's a
- 11:51growth in year by year. You know, even after four what
- 11:54we're we're on episode 6. Wow.
- 11:58Like, I feel that, right. It's like when you want to make
- 12:02a snowman and you start with a little snowball, you're going to
- 12:05start with a little snowball. You're not all of a sudden just
- 12:07be like, I want to make a snowman.
- 12:11Boom. Yeah, no, So it's it's a growth.
- 12:14And once you're on that ride to adventure, this is an adventure.
- 12:19Then it gets fun. Then it gets fun.
- 12:20You you keep what works and you throw out what doesn't work.
- 12:24How do you feel about podcasting?
- 12:28It's a learning, learning experience.
- 12:31So one thing I'm learning week by week.
- 12:35I can't pay attention to everything at the same time.
- 12:39No, I'm giving it that. Sooner or later you will will
- 12:43sooner or later you will because it's a, it's like a second
- 12:45nature. I, I like to, I like to explain
- 12:49it like driving a car. When you get in a car while
- 12:53you're driving, do you mess with the phone and stuff?
- 12:55No, the first thing that you do when you do podcasts, you, you
- 12:59mess with the mic. After that, after you go live,
- 13:02you don't touch that mic because the littlest sound can, can
- 13:07aggravate the listeners. There's too many options out
- 13:09there. They'll just turn it off.
- 13:11OK, then usually you like, you know, set the mirrors and, you
- 13:17know, make sure everything's good, right?
- 13:19Same thing with the sound mixer. Same thing with the sound and
- 13:24everything. Once you got your license the
- 13:26first time, I don't know about you, but I know I had to pull
- 13:31into a parking lot and I remember, OK, I need to go here
- 13:35and here. OK, now I got that.
- 13:38Sooner or later you get in a routine, you'll never have to do
- 13:41that again. But once you get in a routine,
- 13:44once you get in a rhythm, then it's so much easier.
- 13:48But like I said, I've been doing this since 2015 and I'm still
- 13:53learning. But it's a journey.
- 13:56You have to appreciate the journey.
- 13:58I love it. I think the thing for me is
- 14:00definitely the segments for me. I like seeing and having
- 14:06something strategized, organized, because if you get
- 14:10that, that shot in the dark where somebody's like, I want to
- 14:13syndicate you, but you're gonna have to play my imagery, my
- 14:17commercials in the middle of this, you're and if you're just
- 14:19one of those people that are just like blah.
- 14:21Blah blah blah blah blah. Just having a podcast to talk,
- 14:25you know, and don't do the work and don't do the research.
- 14:28You're gonna find yourself climbing up that mountain a lot
- 14:31harder. Now I saw I saw a video that you
- 14:35posted yesterday. Did you did you get a hangout
- 14:38with Hardy's podcast? His podcast was cool, so was.
- 14:42You a guest or was you just overlooking?
- 14:45My client who I just admire more and more, more and more her name
- 14:52is Anne Marie Jakar and she was the 1st guest on the Hardy
- 14:57podcast. And if all of you out there who
- 15:00know you know your your your Denver, Denver blood.
- 15:03Dan Hardy is 95 the mountain and he is a big dude.
- 15:09He's a big dude. I think I my head is up to his
- 15:12belly button like when I see him and it's he's.
- 15:17So tall, but he's, he's cool. He's he's, he's.
- 15:21Cool, he's like cool as a cucumber, man, he's cool as a
- 15:24cucumber. And I, I, I got to take, I, I
- 15:27was their media person. I got to take pictures and, and
- 15:31hearing stories from my client. Like she was a big MTV producer
- 15:37and she like she journalist, rock journalist and and I feel
- 15:43very, very lucky to have that, that hoot going on right now.
- 15:47But it was a really neat podcast you talked about.
- 15:50And I'll put links to all of that in the morning one.
- 15:53Actually there's links to it in the morning one right now if
- 15:56you're really curious. That's why that's how I found
- 15:59out about. It and and and I'm I'm hoping
- 16:02Hey, Dan Hardy, if you're listening, if you need me this
- 16:04week. Right, right.
- 16:07Hey, I'm her service dog. I'm her service dog.
- 16:11Just throwing it out there. I love taking pictures, but
- 16:14there's there's like different types of pictures.
- 16:16You got your landscape people, you know, you got your headshot
- 16:19people. I like the action.
- 16:21Like, I like when when I'm taking pictures and there's
- 16:25action going on, like, you know, I every once in a while I'll pop
- 16:28into a protest or like, just like our skydiving, like I had
- 16:33my scope and I was like, I want to see if I can get Lucas's
- 16:36face. Yeah, before, before we go on
- 16:40break, the, the skydiving, it was amazing.
- 16:43It was amazing. I think the best part of it for
- 16:46the guys was when they were coming down, they were listening
- 16:48to the music. Why skydiving doesn't have music
- 16:52playing while they're skydiving, I have absolutely no idea.
- 16:57But it's it's almost like when you go on a football field or
- 17:00when you go on a baseball field, it's just a different feeling
- 17:05when you do practice or when you do a game, when you have the
- 17:08music playing. Did you hear the music, Lucas?
- 17:12I would say like when we were getting closer.
- 17:15You getting on it? Yeah, yeah.
- 17:16For sure, because yeah, there's some, I mean for us like music
- 17:19and then seeing you guys, I, I felt like I was super hyper that
- 17:23day. It was.
- 17:24It was pretty cool. It was, it was great.
- 17:27I'm coming down. The free bird was really sick.
- 17:30Right, well, hey, check this out.
- 17:32We're going to go on my first music break, you know, and
- 17:36talking about free Bird, if we can find it.
- 17:39Die tired. Oh, okay.
- 17:47Die tired, brand new hit free falling.
- 17:51We're going to play that and we can find it.
- 17:54And when we come back? Perhaps called Fall Forever.
- 17:57Yeah, there we go. See this once I was way off.
- 18:00Hey, when we come back, we'll be hitting the what the segment.
- 18:04So whatever you do, stay with us.
- 18:05Don't go away. Are you listening to the Morning
- 18:07Woods show right here on the station?
- 18:10That's letting your veteran's point to be heard.
- 18:12You're listening to NPR, right? Sizzle.
- 25:36The station where our veterans voices are heard.
- 25:39MBR talk. Hey, thanks for tuning in.
- 25:44Welcome are those of the speakers and do not necessarily
- 25:49reflect the views or positions of any entities they represent.
- 25:53The web at MB radio dot. Welcome back, ladies and
- 25:59gentlemen. If you don't know, it is time to
- 26:01rise and sizzle. You're listening to the morning
- 26:04show, Morning Woods show right here on the station.
- 26:08That's letter of veterans voice to be heard MBR.
- 26:12And I'll tell you what, not only do we have a fabulous guest that
- 26:15is here in studio now that is watching us and and ready, but
- 26:20we have my favorite segment. Oh, we have this is your
- 26:24favorite segment. This is my favorite segment.
- 26:26We have the what the segment. They're cool tats man.
- 26:30Oh for real? Thank you bro you.
- 26:31See the cobra and what is this 10?
- 26:33This. That's my credo.
- 26:36No regrets. You have no.
- 26:39Regrets, Dad? No, like not even a single
- 26:41letter. No way.
- 26:43Not me. I love him.
- 26:46I think he's great. I think he's a real winner.
- 26:48Casey, if I were you, I wouldn't use protection.
- 27:12A sweet job. Yeah.
- 27:14I was really impressed. Was it?
- 27:19What's up everyone? I don't know how to talk.
- 27:23I don't know why you trust me to do this.
- 27:26I can ride my bike with no handlebars, no handlebars, no
- 27:31handlebars. Well, you don't feel for that,
- 27:37for that, for that police officer that had a hard time.
- 27:40Don't feel bad because Biden couldn't do it either.
- 27:43So just just making, just letting you know.
- 27:48I think these guys are Wheeling on TAPA things.
- 27:50Hold on. That guy's Suppose that guy's
- 27:55all in a lot better shape than an 87 year old.
- 27:58I mean, that is true, that is true, but.
- 28:01We're I mean, if I'm feeling the same way like an 8, I actually
- 28:05don't 80 something. If I'm feeling the same way he
- 28:07is, I'm doing something wrong. That's where I'm at.
- 28:10I mean, when have we? Ever seen Trump on a bike?
- 28:12I'm just saying. Well, we saw Trump on the
- 28:16stairs. It looks like he had A Little
- 28:17Dream to do. They trip and fall just the same
- 28:22as us, everyone. Yes they do.
- 28:23I just want to hear him yell pedal power.
- 28:29I'm dying. I came across this video and I
- 28:33was like, this is amazing. What do you think, Miss Vicki?
- 28:39How can you go down the stairs? Stairs one out of 10.
- 28:43I like that they're like buddies.
- 28:45Like they're buddies like, yeah, nice wheelie, right?
- 28:47And they're doing social media. So they won my heart instantly.
- 28:52Makes me think of what's his name, Noah Hill and Channing
- 28:57Tatum. Oh yeah.
- 28:59Jump Street when they're biker cops.
- 29:02Busy bike cops don't do Donuts, they do wheelies.
- 29:05That's. True.
- 29:10Yeah, that was a dad joke. That was a really bad dad joke.
- 29:13I. Know there's like a bunch let's
- 29:15see. But bike cops always pedal their
- 29:18their point home. I mean, Can you imagine a bike
- 29:22cop rolling up on you and you know a, a part of you, you know
- 29:25a part of you already is going to be like really like, how do
- 29:29you take it? It's actually so funny that you
- 29:32that this is the what though, because I saw a video just like
- 29:37just like yesterday of a bike cop pulling over a kid on a bike
- 29:42and he's like, don't do wheelies in the road, 'cause he was, he
- 29:45was riding down the street, he was in the bike lane, but he was
- 29:48like doing wheelies and stuff. He's like, that's dangerous.
- 29:50What a cool community thing though, too.
- 29:52They're advertising for people to come out with them and
- 29:55exercise. I mean, either that or, you
- 29:57know, times are tough and you know, slim Pickens in the bike
- 30:01cap department. We need reinforcements.
- 30:03Let's ask the community. I I love that video so much.
- 30:08It cracks me up. I I secretly like.
- 30:11They're here in Colorado, aren't they?
- 30:13Wasn't that Frederick, Charlie? Yeah, yeah, we should.
- 30:16We should. We should request for them to
- 30:20come to the studio so that we can talk to them about it.
- 30:23Maybe, maybe we can do kind of like a Tosh .0, you know, do a
- 30:27video. Where are they?
- 30:30They, they, they, they, they renew themselves.
- 30:35You know what I mean? Like I, I just, I mean to ride a
- 30:39bike all day just waiting to roll up on somebody, you know,
- 30:43like especially at the park. I, I like to go walking at the
- 30:47park where I, I live close to and I, I do it at least a couple
- 30:53times a week and I like to get at least an hour in there and a
- 30:56good sweat. And I can't tell you when I walk
- 30:59across or like walk over or walk near and I see like a, like an
- 31:04empty liquor bottle, like one of those little shooters.
- 31:07It's just like, really, you had to drop that on the ground or
- 31:11you just couldn't make it to the basket, you know, like.
- 31:14I get wanting a little buzz while you're in public but throw
- 31:17away your trash and come. On I would be a hysterical bike
- 31:20top and I just want the world to know it.
- 31:24You would be hysterical, anything you would be.
- 31:27I could just see you as a waitress.
- 31:31That would be funny. It was a horrible waitress.
- 31:34Really. I remember one dude and it was
- 31:37I, I waitressed during a billiards session and this one
- 31:43dude, I could not remember his order for the life of me.
- 31:47And then finally I went up to her because I wasn't the only
- 31:49waitress. I was like, why do you keep
- 31:51ordering for me? I cannot remember your Mick
- 31:54Lightman. I don't know what it is.
- 31:56And and I wouldn't like remember that he had ordered until I'd
- 31:59like walked by him twice. I just I was a horrible
- 32:02waitress, great bartender, but. Did you ever like get the tamp
- 32:05or someone just try to smile more?
- 32:08No, definitely not me. I mean, no, I've definitely said
- 32:12some stuff to some people like people that either like a.
- 32:17Tip try to be faster with. Eight or more, 8 or more people
- 32:21tab, you know, and then you get like $5, right?
- 32:25I remember that happened. It, it was a a poker tournament.
- 32:29And then there was this lady, she tipped me $5 and then she
- 32:32walked up to me and wanted another drink.
- 32:34She like closed her tab and then reopened it.
- 32:36And I said, do you see those stairs up there?
- 32:38She said, yeah. I said they lead to the bar
- 32:42later, you know? But back to the bite cop thing.
- 32:48I mean it, if you're listening out there, Denver police, I
- 32:53don't. I really want to be a bike cop
- 32:55because I just want to roll up on somebody in the park.
- 32:57You want a job shadow? Yeah, job shadow.
- 33:00Yeah. So if if you're Frederickson
- 33:03County or you know somebody, reach out.
- 33:07Good morning and Amber. Good morning podcast.
- 33:11They will be here September 5th. September 5th for Prime Con.
- 33:15I think I got that right. Dropping tour dates now.
- 33:18Yeah. Oh, OK.
- 33:20Yeah, good. We got, we got some people in
- 33:21the chat. I'm super excited about our
- 33:23guest too. Yeah.
- 33:25And don't forget this Saturday, you can see me and Holly at the
- 33:31Douglas County Fairground. It's a car show that American
- 33:36Military Family is putting together.
- 33:40American Family Military Family is a nonprofit organization that
- 33:45is dedicated. The last, I believe it's been
- 33:49like 2025 years. It's it's been a while.
- 33:52They've dedicated their life in helping veterans find their
- 33:57purpose, finding their outlet, most importantly, helping them
- 34:03fix their PTSD, you know, trying to help them adapt and overcome
- 34:09on different things. You know, it's a big, it's a,
- 34:11it's a big thing for veterans here, especially in, in
- 34:16Colorado. Ever since we started doing like
- 34:18the shows and stuff, the homeless population has went
- 34:23down. But like I, I, last time I
- 34:25checked, it was like 5 or 5.5% has went down.
- 34:29So telling the stories, doing the podcast, I think it really
- 34:34helps veterans. That's the reason why I wanted
- 34:37to do the mail call with. You're talking about PTSD and
- 34:42those guys died tired, You were saying?
- 34:43Yeah, work at a a PTSD clinic. And yeah, a lot of their lyrics
- 34:48are just inspired. Oh, yeah, I mean, what they
- 34:50they're great lyrics. They're great.
- 34:52And I'm telling you, you know, remember that old show, Regis
- 34:56Lee, Kathie Lee or whatever? OK, I'm telling you right now,
- 35:01die tired, focus, keep your eye on that band.
- 35:07They are going to be the next big thing.
- 35:09You just watch they've. Got a really watch sound where I
- 35:13it's it's very like authentic to sounding for them, but it's also
- 35:18got you know that like that kind of like the main mainstream B22.
- 35:24It's a very nice like blend of of uniqueness, while also
- 35:29something that a lot I sound a lot of people can get behind.
- 35:32I don't know really how to describe it, but that's.
- 35:34Right. I see what you're saying.
- 35:36Like, yeah, they're, they're really good.
- 35:37I think they're. Going to and last week, you
- 35:39know, we'll have her on the show sooner or later, but last week
- 35:43on one of the shows on veterans talk, well, maybe it was the H
- 35:47change show. I, I forget which show, there's
- 35:48so many of them, but we had Emily Meyers.
- 35:51Congratulations to Emily Meyers. She got nominated for a Josie
- 35:57Award, and that's big. That's really big.
- 36:00I even sent her a text and she wrote me and she was like, you
- 36:03will not believe how much that text meant to me.
- 36:05She was like congratulating me on it.
- 36:08And I'm like, well, of course, you know.
- 36:11Recognition is cool, yeah. You mean especially as an artist
- 36:15and even in what we do? On the next break, I'll play
- 36:17some Emily Meyers. Yeah.
- 36:20But yeah, that's Reagan rights girl.
- 36:24Hell yeah, I don't have a Josie Award, but then again, I I sound
- 36:28like Michael Jackson with a hormone problem when I say OK,
- 36:33all right, Anyways. We'll talk about what's going on
- 36:35in Denver. Oh, yes.
- 36:38Event time. Event time.
- 36:40What we got, Holly? So we got Bastille Day.
- 36:42It's a French fest, authentic French market.
- 36:47We have gourmet bites, clips, wine, charcuterie.
- 36:52Oh, I've I had. To It's kind of like a taste of
- 36:54cherry. Curry Fashion home good live
- 36:57concerts Friday funk band Crudy Groove.
- 37:02So French fest be rocking out. This is going to be in the

- 37:32for if you want to eat the nibbles, it's 25 to 75.
- 37:37Yeah, so you probably have to buy like tickets for food or
- 37:40whatever, but it's so it's it's kind of like what they do in
- 37:44Snowmass. It's a little taste of Snowmass.
- 37:46It's it's a bunch of businesses around the they create French
- 37:50dishes and you sit there and you try it.
- 37:53That sounds really fun, you know, and I mean that that's
- 37:57like going to Costco, except Costco you don't.
- 38:01Well, you have to pay to get into.
- 38:03Costco. I'm French Costco.
- 38:08And we got Cirque de la Sol, Cirque Cirque de la Sol.
- 38:12Yeah, I, I, I, I repeated that yesterday.
- 38:15I couldn't pronounce it. Good job on.
- 38:17That thanks. Thanks.
- 38:18Is that Spanish? I think it's Cirque.
- 38:22OK, It's it's clown talk. I don't I'm I'm having fun with
- 38:26that one Cirque De La Soul. Anybody know what do you think?
- 38:29We got a just this. This is a show in our our
- 38:32education. Cirque de.
- 38:36La Soul. Cirque de la.
- 38:38Soul. Sounds.
- 38:41I know we're sticking with the French right now.
- 38:44I. I like that you said that so big
- 38:46top tent in ballerina so open Saturday, July 12th and it runs
- 38:52through August 17th. You get time you get some time.
- 38:56Seating ranges from 50 to 150 depending on VIP status.
- 39:02And it's, it's a story of a human animal connection
- 39:07featuring acrobatics, live music and, and environmental themes,
- 39:16which I think, you know, in today's world, lately I've been
- 39:20on this kick, seeing that there there's a trend on TikTok on,
- 39:24you know, with all these people kind of like political, like all
- 39:30this healing and being your best self.
- 39:34And now there's, there's like this group of like young 20 year
- 39:37olds that are like save the planet.
- 39:40Hi, You know, so I, I think this, this, I mean, if you think
- 39:45about it, you know, human connection, saving the planet,
- 39:48all this stuff like me. That's why I want to be a bike
- 39:51cop, you know, walking in the park and seeing a little shooter
- 39:54glass. Oh, we can make that happen.
- 39:56Don't worry, Holly, we can make that happen.
- 39:58OK. Well, you want to call it.
- 40:00You want to call it job shadowing, though.
- 40:03You want to call it job shadowing.
- 40:04I want a badge 'cause I want to say some stuff and I want
- 40:10someone to respect it. You guys are going to make me a
- 40:14badge. I have a feeling in City Park
- 40:18there's jazz, There's jazz on Sunday, July 13th, and this is
- 40:23happening every Sunday. Cost is always free and you can
- 40:29take an RTD Route 20 on 17th and Steel station and there's plenty
- 40:36of parking and picnic friendly atmosphere.
- 40:38That sounds like fun. You know, if you have a, you
- 40:41know, you're looking for a little special date out there,
- 40:44there's your day. You know be a dude or a cool
- 40:47chick, right? Oh, I like the, you know, some
- 40:53of these. We should reach out to them and
- 40:55ask them if they want us to to cover some of these.
- 41:00I mean, we could do that, especially going off the grid.
- 41:03You know, it's just plunk, here we are.
- 41:06We got some propane and a generator, which is super cool.
- 41:11Then we got B side music, B side rooftop garden, Museum of
- 41:16Contemporary Art and Denver Friday.
- 41:20This is today. Doors open at 6:30.
- 41:23Show runs seven until 9:00 PM. So art the artists are Ailey's
- 41:31and Lady Lost headline this weekend, except for, well,
- 41:36they're headlining this weekend. So that covers, I guess.
- 41:39Everything except for cocktails are free.
- 41:43OK, I like free cocktails. I've said those.
- 41:49Jeffrey Dahmer's, he likes cocktails too.
- 41:50So you. Could get dirt.
- 41:57Let's see here I think. I think that's it for the hip
- 42:00hop. Don't stop.
- 42:01Oh, you know what? Guess what time it?
- 42:03Is it? I'm ready for it to be time for
- 42:04something. It is time for what does Vicki
- 42:09say you be? Blue
- 42:30I miss Vicky Balls in your court.
- 42:33Literally. And you and you said that
- 42:37Jeffrey Dahmer's thing was dark. OK, that's.
- 42:41Funny. What am I supposed?
- 42:44Well, do you go to target? Yeah.
- 42:49Watch out for clown ladies then. And Holly told me this morning
- 42:55she found out what a glory hole was.
- 42:57Oh, I did. It was nothing we talked about.
- 43:03I did nothing. I, I was like, you know, that's
- 43:07what I love about teaching is I'm always learning.
- 43:12Like. Miss.
- 43:12Holly. Jerry Jones.
- 43:16Jerry Jones is ancient as as all Helen.
- 43:19He still doesn't know what glory hole means.
- 43:20Oh. Man.
- 43:23Can you imagine if somebody farted and you were like got
- 43:25your butt hole? I I just think this is my humor.
- 43:29I know. We need to make a morning show.
- 43:33Holly's Slang Books Slang. Words don't be full of farts and
- 43:37poop. Yeah, broadcasting from the
- 43:40toilet. See, we got Miss Vicky's here to
- 43:45be the only adult. Back from break, guys, we're
- 43:47back from break. Listen, I am, I'm AI mean we all
- 43:51eat food and what's what's the backside of that?
- 43:53I mean. Literally.
- 43:58But I just. Ended.
- 43:59Dropping the kids off of the pool.
- 44:01Knocking the light. Taking the Browns to the Super
- 44:04Bowl. It's where you.
- 44:05Let me see your dark side. Miss Vicky, Like, Can you
- 44:10imagine like a conversation getting really awkward, right?
- 44:13And you're like, what do I say? I think you should say that.
- 44:17Got your butt hole. That is, that's a walking HR
- 44:23complaint. I mean that do not do this at
- 44:27work, OK? This is the HD job.
- 44:31Oh my God, Yeah. Can you imagine seeing that like
- 44:33working at McDonald's? Working anywhere.
- 44:37I mean. If my Co.
- 44:38Like would you like to super size that?
- 44:40Oops. My Co worker says got your butt
- 44:43hold of me I'm walking out of the ship.
- 44:46That's manly with the problem. Now I'm you figure that guy out.
- 44:50I'm giving them a raise. 1 you had the CONUS to say that, and
- 44:55two, I am still thinking about you saying that in three.
- 44:59They're going to make you take a sensitivity training course
- 45:02about creating toxic workplaces. Be careful, sit down after I do
- 45:06that. I'm telling.
- 45:08I'm telling Gene what she said Holly.
- 45:10I hope you tell Gene, Gene, Gene, you're getting a shout
- 45:13out. Gene is like, have you ever
- 45:15heard any of his Alaska stories? I don't think he's told me any
- 45:20of those. Like a scientist up in.
- 45:22Oh, now I'm training. And Alaska.
- 45:25And and Antarctica, I've got a patch from him.
- 45:29He was one of my favorites and and I'm going to tell the story.
- 45:33OK, I was going to say I'm I'm waiting for this.
- 45:37There was a student and then there was Gene who was a
- 45:41student. But Gene, Gene is just epic,
- 45:45epic, right? A.
- 45:46Little bit of advance evidently. Gene has a heart.
- 45:49And then he was helping the student out and this, this
- 45:53student got a little bossy and, and me, I'm, I'm, I'm just, I'm,
- 45:58I'm watching this, right? And I'm, and I'm seeing this
- 46:01develop kind of like, all right, so Gene is so light hearted and
- 46:07he's sweet. And then finally, when Gene put,
- 46:10he put his foot down to this student and I got to witness it,
- 46:15he was like, what do you think I am?
- 46:18You're a taxi like this. The student had gotten to the
- 46:22point where he was kind of demanding, go get my cameras, go
- 46:26do this, go do this, go do this, go do this.
- 46:28And Gene, man, that's, that's what I knew that guy had some I
- 46:32I love it when people have a spine, like you're really nice,
- 46:35but then that's it, you know, can you relate?
- 46:40Oh I there's this dude on the 2nd shift that pisses Gene off.
- 46:46I've gotten into some shifts and like he is just like on the
- 46:50warpath and like the whole management team's trying to calm
- 46:53him down and he's like this, Jack Ashton said he said no, no
- 46:56long 2 times. He didn't set these clocks or
- 46:58anything and that he's writing up emails to management.
- 47:02So yeah, no, I'm Gene. Gene's old school hard work.
- 47:05Bro, he's like, I have had nothing but positive
- 47:08interactions with this man, but like really he he will be, he
- 47:13will let you know if he's upset that you're leaving.
- 47:15He's like you're leaving the pod messed up for him when he comes
- 47:19in there girl, I mean. That's here's, here's the thing.
- 47:23I, I, I was thinking about this, you know, if, if you're working
- 47:27with somebody or, or you're in that management, right, that,
- 47:32that management position. And then you've got somebody
- 47:35that, you know, like if you like, if you see a chair, you
- 47:38don't push it in or if something's on the ground, you
- 47:40don't pick it up. Or, like you, you know what the
- 47:43job protocol is and you're like watching them and waiting for
- 47:48them to do it. We call that doing the
- 47:51initiative. Oh, Mama, this is where I have a
- 47:54hard time because I I like to brag.
- 47:58And then a lot of a lot of my cover letter says I'm that
- 48:01person that does it before you ask me.
- 48:04And I love people like that. They're easy to get along with,
- 48:08they're easy to work with. But then, you know, in this
- 48:11world, everybody needs a paycheck.
- 48:13So as a manager, and then you've got this new wave of like lingo,
- 48:17like how how you say it to them to clue them in, right.
- 48:22So what would you say to that one person that it's just kind
- 48:26of like just just just not it's not clicking with them without,
- 48:29you know, you being one an HR problem losing your temper and
- 48:33your energy, because as soon as you lose your temper or you, you
- 48:36get like if you if you pull a gene, like as soon as you pull a
- 48:40gene like your energy. Level When I was a manager, I
- 48:43knew I did a lot of training on employees still.
- 48:47And often times I would just be like, I would just watch them
- 48:50and like if I just saw that they started doing something wrong, I
- 48:53just I would just stop them and be like that's not right.
- 48:57And I would just, I would just keep doing it until they started
- 48:59doing it right, so. I wish I could have a whip.
- 49:02Yeah, well. You got a spoon?
- 49:09I thought about that this morning.
- 49:10I was like, I got to get my wooden spoon in here.
- 49:14It's got some different management styles than me I
- 49:16guess. It's a face.
- 49:19I've got a, a placard and it's in my kitchen and it says like
- 49:29if you cook it, share it, if you spill it, wipe it up, you know,
- 49:35it's something like that. And I would have a on purpose
- 49:41conversation to that effect if it pertained to the office or
- 49:47whatever. It's just consideration.
- 49:54Just just consider. Consider it.
- 49:57No, we're all, we're all just trying to get to the end of
- 49:59Furnish. Yeah, something they get hard
- 50:00there for each other. For 8 hours or two hours or
- 50:04three hours, You you can't put up with this.
- 50:09Yeah. I like to tell people when they
- 50:11get me going, and I mean get me going, that they're not being
- 50:16nice. This is not nice, man.
- 50:18I can only have One Cup of coffee a day, right, And I'm
- 50:22almost done with my last sip. And when you get me going that
- 50:27the other side of that is you, you get tired.
- 50:30That's why I like the drama or those like those people that are
- 50:34like, you know, the gossipy people that kind of like get,
- 50:37you know, stick it all up like that type of thing.
- 50:41Because if I, if I lose my energy at the amount of stuff we
- 50:44have to do, think about our tomorrow, we were we're going to
- 50:47be at a car show and then a hoedown.
- 50:52This is happening, which I'm super excited about because I'm
- 50:55going to have endless jokes about Hoedowns and I think I'm
- 50:58going to get a lot of content Hoedown.
- 51:00Well, you know, I'll tell you what I, I've, I've been doing
- 51:03this for a long time. And one of the things that I do
- 51:06when I have people like, you know, helping me and doing stuff
- 51:10for me, before I even ask them to do stuff, I try to, I try to
- 51:16eat with them. I try to eat with them.
- 51:20Because if you eat with them, they know that you're looking at
- 51:24them as a person rather than just somebody that that does
- 51:30shit for you, you know, and like, you know, there's been
- 51:34times when HG and, and then caveman has been, you know,
- 51:38working and stuff. And you know, every week I asked
- 51:41them, are you guys good? Do you need?
- 51:44Anything I do hear you ask? That, you know, and like, you
- 51:48know, I'll, I'll, I'll kind of like slide, you know, a couple
- 51:5120 or whatever, you know, for gas or something.
- 51:54Or like caveman. There was a part for his car
- 51:59that he needed just for his heater.
- 52:03So I bought it for him, you know.
- 52:07I, I tried to understand the person you know, but you, you
- 52:10get people that they call, you know, it's not good to judge.
- 52:13I don't call it judging. I call it character profiling.
- 52:17Honestly, like wholeheartedly. I could tell when, when the like
- 52:21when the doorknob, when, when I see the doorknob move, like how
- 52:26it moves. I can I and I don't know if it's
- 52:28all the hairdressing in me, I can tell what type of person I'm
- 52:31dealing with. Like if the doors, like you see
- 52:33the door knob just kind of shake and jiggle or if it's like just
- 52:37a nice turn and it's open. I'm like, oh, this person's
- 52:39going to be awesome. And never, never, never say
- 52:43you'll figure it out. Never say that, OK?
- 52:47Always say we'll figure it out. Always, always, never say you'll
- 52:53figure it out because you know. That's money.
- 52:57Do you have a favorite boss? Huh.
- 53:00Do you have a favorite boss? This guy so you already got the
- 53:05job. You don't have to kiss, but.
- 53:06He's not even really a boss. Like it's just.
- 53:09That's that's the sound of he's just.
- 53:10Like the he's just the head. So, you know, I follow his lead,
- 53:13but it's. Well, anyways, so hey, it is
- 53:19that time. It is that time is we're going
- 53:23to go on music break and boy do we have our guests.
- 53:27Here is Chris Ford. You know, I thought, I thought
- 53:31he was like when I, when I first met him on Facebook, I, I, I
- 53:37thought he owned Forbes magazine because it said Chris Forbes.
- 53:41And I'm like, I don't know. OK, he's an embroidery Chris.
- 53:44The guy is amazing with the screen.
- 53:46So you're going to see the results.
- 53:48He did the new MBR tablecloth. So what if you do stay with us?
- 53:52Don't go away. You're listening to the morning
- 53:54one show right here on the station that's letting our
- 53:57veterans be heard. MBR.
- 1:03:36We we've got our today's today's guest is rocking and rolling
- 1:03:43with us. He's a a real big deal when it
- 1:03:47comes to turning blank into branded.
- 1:03:51He's a designer, embroiderer and a mastermind.
- 1:03:55The mastermind behind Sensation designed So if if you're a brand
- 1:04:01out there, this is this is the man you wanna see right here.
- 1:04:06I'm not sure if you can see him yet, but I can.
- 1:04:10So he's helping creatives and small businesses style hustlers
- 1:04:14level up with custom clothing, logo, logos and what's new.
- 1:04:20What is new? What's new and what's cool?
- 1:04:23A whole lot is cool. Us, we're cool.
- 1:04:27Knowing it. Yeah.
- 1:04:30Miss Vicky's on the mic now we're super cool.
- 1:04:34Times 10. How was your ride in this
- 1:04:36morning, Chris? Man, the traffic was terrific.
- 1:04:41Nice and slow, no bumps, you know what I mean.
- 1:04:45Everything ran smooth bumper to bumper.
- 1:04:49So what? What's the first thing you ever
- 1:04:51embroidered or designed? My own logo.
- 1:04:55Yeah. My own logo, that's that's the
- 1:04:59first design I did was my dog design.
- 1:05:03That's where it all started, yeah.
- 1:05:06Your dog design for your. Well, you know, I, I, I have, I
- 1:05:12have another business and I do pet traveling and I transport
- 1:05:19pets, you know, and so I had a logo there.
- 1:05:24And that's when I started to learn about building brands was
- 1:05:29investing in myself, right? So I started realizing that when
- 1:05:34I spent all this money over here, how the heck am I going to
- 1:05:37get my money back, right? So I had to figure out how
- 1:05:41branding worked and how things like that came about.
- 1:05:46So yeah, my design, Rude Boy Bullies was my first design that
- 1:05:53I did personally and that was interesting.
- 1:05:56It was, it was interesting because you know, software,
- 1:06:03software is fun and that's what runs a lot of these programs
- 1:06:08that you see TV wise, machinery, stuff like that, your software.
- 1:06:16So I started really focusing on the software that does more on
- 1:06:22the digitizing side for the machines to recognize the file.
- 1:06:28It's almost like a tattoo machine gun for fabric though,
- 1:06:33right? So, but The thing is, is the the
- 1:06:37machine speaks one language, right?
- 1:06:41And the software is the translator.
- 1:06:44So you got to know how to run the software so that way it can
- 1:06:48translate to the machine to make your job easier.
- 1:06:51So miss. Miss Vicky was asking, how long
- 1:06:54ago did you start? Oh, this has been shoot, I think
- 1:07:00I remember it was like 2015, 2015.
- 1:07:06I, I, I, I seen, I was at a festival.
- 1:07:12I was at a festival and I seen this guy in the back seat of his
- 1:07:15car and he had a cutter, a plotter, a vinyl cutter.
- 1:07:20And I seen that and I, he had a little converter box, you know,
- 1:07:23to where it like, you know, like you could plug ATV in and things
- 1:07:26like that. And we're at this festival in
- 1:07:29the middle of nowhere, right? And I see this and it kind of
- 1:07:32was like, wow, OK. I remember as a kid going to the
- 1:07:37flea market and buying simple stickers, vinyl cut stickers,
- 1:07:44you know, for you could put on your bike or your whatever.
- 1:07:50And I seen that guy at the festival with that machine.
- 1:07:53And that's where I kind of really clicked in my head about,
- 1:07:59Dang, that's cool, right? That's what, Yeah, that's cool,
- 1:08:02right? Those are fun.
- 1:08:03Like those are fun little epiphanies, you know, like, you
- 1:08:07know, down the road to where you where you put it together.
- 1:08:11Yeah, yeah, yeah. See, so again, it all started
- 1:08:15with just that light clicking on, you know what I mean?
- 1:08:18And that's when it came about. And so I, I bought a cutter, I
- 1:08:23got a couple cutters and I sat in my kitchen for hours and
- 1:08:29hours like my eyes would hurt, like I thought I wrecked my eyes
- 1:08:33because I was really so. You have so you've always,
- 1:08:37you've always had that entrepreneur.
- 1:08:39Yeah, that's key, yeah. Because you know, you knew you
- 1:08:42had to put the hard work in then in order to so many of these, I
- 1:08:46charge this. Yeah.
- 1:08:49And that's the biggest thing about it was when you sit and
- 1:08:51think about like this, when you sit and think about like all
- 1:08:55these big companies out here and all this stuff and you're over
- 1:08:57here just learning like, and, you know, my age, I wasn't young
- 1:09:03right when I, when I start to really play with it.
- 1:09:08But the thing was, is, is the way it all came about, you know,
- 1:09:14I started to mess with this because of, you know, the light
- 1:09:17clicked on here and next thing you know, it's like, I mastered
- 1:09:22this to the point where like, OK, I can only do so much.
- 1:09:26And then that then I had to upgrade, right?
- 1:09:29That's where the machines come into play.
- 1:09:31That's the printers and the the embroidery machines, things like
- 1:09:35that. So what?
- 1:09:37How did Sensation Design get its name?
- 1:09:40When did that come? Well, I'll tell you how it got
- 1:09:43its name as a friend of mine, a friend of mine, you know, we,
- 1:09:48we, but you know, I don't know, 10 years ago, right, Right about
- 1:09:52this ten years ago, this guy and I was like, I got these dogs.
- 1:09:58And so I had to start figuring out how to get my money back.
- 1:10:03So I start to having the brand Rude Boy Bullies.
- 1:10:07So with that being said, I bought, you know, a Mamaki CJV
- 1:10:133130 Mamaki printer. So I started, you know, doing
- 1:10:22stickers and banners and things like that.
- 1:10:25And it's like this. It's either I pay somebody else
- 1:10:28to do it or I learn. And those are the key things
- 1:10:32that some people I think are, are afraid to do, right.
- 1:10:36So you, it's super important for you to be able to really, you
- 1:10:41know, put your, put your, your thoughts and stuff into motion,
- 1:10:45your ideas into motion and stuff like that.
- 1:10:47And that's what I did. I just bought the equipment and
- 1:10:51and then basically it was what's what's funny about it is then it
- 1:10:54became really all learning. I love hearing that you love
- 1:11:00software because I, I, that's me, I, I, I like seeing one
- 1:11:04thing and seeing the collaborative communication
- 1:11:08between 2:00. It's, it's fun, it's neat.
- 1:11:12And, and a lot of people, I do remember at one point when I was
- 1:11:16snowballing into my process learning Adobe and for me Adobe
- 1:11:22at the time, I fell in love with Adobe Audition.
- 1:11:24But Adobe the, the video side of of Adobe Premiere Pro, I just
- 1:11:33was like, this is insane. This is insane.
- 1:11:37And then found Filmora and it gave me hope in my heart that I
- 1:11:42could actually, you know, finally be an editor without,
- 1:11:46you know, going through 20 YouTube tutorials, you know, but
- 1:11:52it that's the one thing that impressed me about you the most.
- 1:11:55Like seeing you get into Sam, seeing you get into like, you're
- 1:11:57like, I'm going to figure this out.
- 1:11:58Like you're not there. Here's a brick wall and I'm
- 1:12:02punching through it. Yeah, that, that's the.
- 1:12:03Last to be said. That's key for people, you know,
- 1:12:07and their growth big time because you'll never know until
- 1:12:12you do it whether you fail or not.
- 1:12:14I mean, that's part of life. You're going to win, you're
- 1:12:16going to lose some, right? So that's the biggest thing I
- 1:12:20did is I knew I couldn't lose with this because it was for the
- 1:12:24right reason, right? And when you're doing things for
- 1:12:28the right reason, right? Like things will fall into place
- 1:12:32at the right time. Sometimes it don't come right
- 1:12:35away, but I can tell you this. So I started to really, you
- 1:12:41know, put this stuff together and what it did is like it, it
- 1:12:45started really, it was like my own internship hour, like my own
- 1:12:49internship for my own self to build my own brand, right.
- 1:12:54So I, I met a lot of people along the way who helped teach
- 1:13:02me, who helped me, you know, understand the differences when
- 1:13:06it comes to pricing and, and material things like that.
- 1:13:10So, yeah, this, this whole branding thing has been an
- 1:13:14experience. The biggest thing is, is then
- 1:13:18when I started doing, you know, the, the school, right?
- 1:13:23So then that just adds everything to the company,
- 1:13:26right? So now the company is, can be
- 1:13:28more valuable to the customer. Not only are we doing
- 1:13:33embroidery, we're doing printing, we're doing DTF
- 1:13:37transfers, we're doing UVDTF stickers, I do banners, we do
- 1:13:42tablecloths, we do tents if you need pop up tents, we do event
- 1:13:48type of merch. So I, I've just, I've just, I've
- 1:13:52learned, yeah, I've, I've, I've, I've learned throughout this
- 1:13:55whole process how, you know, networking.
- 1:13:59Yeah. And.
- 1:14:01You're gonna need some interns. Yeah, yeah, definitely,
- 1:14:04definitely gonna need. Some those stickers.
- 1:14:06Yeah, now. How's how's the how's the
- 1:14:08process with the sticker thing now?
- 1:14:10So the process with the stickers is really is is.
- 1:14:13It easier or still tedious? There's nothing tedious about
- 1:14:18it. The biggest thing that I think
- 1:14:20is tedious about it really is that people may not be familiar
- 1:14:28with the process of setting the files properly for the printer
- 1:14:33to print. Those are the key things like
- 1:14:36what I get a lot of times is. Tech TD.
- 1:14:39Yeah, what I get a lot of time is, is people will send me an
- 1:14:42image that they just screenshot and they're like, I want this,
- 1:14:45you know? But what the important thing is,
- 1:14:48is like we have to build that file to be, you know, print
- 1:14:52ready and, and things like that. So, you know, building your gang
- 1:14:56sheets and knowing how to do that maybe on Photoshop or
- 1:15:00corral draw, you know, stuff like that is key to, you know,
- 1:15:06those kind of particular process like, you know, for printing
- 1:15:10stickers. So I mean, it's, it's, it's
- 1:15:13really just as as as easy as put in your, your, your design in
- 1:15:19the, you know, PNG form, build your gang sheet, send it.
- 1:15:25And that's the quickest way to, you know, get things printed
- 1:15:30same day. I, I can tell you if you know,
- 1:15:32for those of you who are viewing for the first time and, and you
- 1:15:38know, we got Miss Vicki over here and we got, you know,
- 1:15:41Christmas for sensation Design and then me bad holly, right?
- 1:15:44Well, I was very lucky, very lucky to have Miss Vicki and
- 1:15:50Christopher as a digital, as digital students.
- 1:15:54And the reason why they're sitting here is because of the
- 1:15:58effort and the passion. And I can't tell you how fun it
- 1:16:05has been to work with both of you, but how fun of a process.
- 1:16:09You made this for me. Yeah, it's super fun.
- 1:16:13It's you. You made it fun like there there
- 1:16:15wasn't any like second guess, second guessing where you were
- 1:16:18in the process, what was happening.
- 1:16:21It was a, a text message you and videos of your, your, your
- 1:16:26design and your logo coming to life.
- 1:16:28And, and if you could have seen me like, you know, receiving
- 1:16:31that text message, your heart would have just like, you know,
- 1:16:34filled up because I squealed and I was like, it's alive.
- 1:16:40It's so cool. It's so cool.
- 1:16:42Well. It's good that you bring that up
- 1:16:43because in all reality, that's what I focus on the most.
- 1:16:47The experience. Well, the experience for you,
- 1:16:50but the trust that you put in me.
- 1:16:54So so it's crucial for me when you know, some customers, you
- 1:16:59know, place orders that they know exactly where their order
- 1:17:02stands at all times. You know what I mean?
- 1:17:05And that that to me, I think is the biggest part of any business
- 1:17:09is, is your customers having that comfort and knowing that
- 1:17:15they made the right decision. They didn't, you know, go with
- 1:17:20somebody that they questioned. You know, their, their, they're,
- 1:17:25yeah. What's the word?
- 1:17:27What's the word? Like you're verifying somebody
- 1:17:29kind of like like. LinkedIn does right?
- 1:17:31Go go check your yeah or if you're is is he verified?
- 1:17:36I'm going to go check Google. I question.
- 1:17:37That a lot I'll be honest with the texts and messages I get in
- 1:17:41LinkedIn I question that yeah but but yeah but that that's
- 1:17:46that's crucial for customers I think for me is them knowing
- 1:17:51that they're their decision was made you know right and that I I
- 1:17:57definitely have their their, you know best interest in in my.
- 1:18:04Yeah, full truth. It's it's nice to just see you
- 1:18:07take the wheel like I, I even when I sent you that PNG.
- 1:18:10So the first thing you're going to do with your your logo,
- 1:18:13right? Yeah.
- 1:18:13You want to e-mail me? Definitely.
- 1:18:15And you want to send me an e-mail.
- 1:18:17That's the biggest way to be able to communicate with me
- 1:18:21because all this other stuff kind of can be jammed up in
- 1:18:27different areas like say spam or you just, you know what I mean?
- 1:18:31Like there's a direct e-mail I. Feel that 'cause there's, you
- 1:18:33know, you got Snapchat, you got Instagram, you got Facebook, you
- 1:18:36got TikTok, you got LinkedIn and I have you know, there's,
- 1:18:39there's an inbox everywhere there, right?
- 1:18:42So you saying that is huge, Like where?
- 1:18:44Where can they e-mail you? Yeah, ccc.forbeschris@gmail.com.
- 1:18:49That's CCC Forbes Chris at gmail.com.
- 1:18:54Send me your logos, send me your ideas, you know, send me what
- 1:19:00you would like to have printed or any kind of quotes or stuff
- 1:19:04like that. And we could definitely get, you
- 1:19:06know, those answers and stuff like that.
- 1:19:08But, you know, the process really starts.
- 1:19:10There is the e-mail and sending me the design because then we
- 1:19:16can really focus on, you know, what the next steps are because
- 1:19:20that's the biggest thing about the whole process, you know, is,
- 1:19:23is the steps. And, and you got to trust them
- 1:19:25too. And, and here's here's where I
- 1:19:28'cause I, I, I put complete faith in where he was.
- 1:19:31Like you're going to take the circle logo and then the words
- 1:19:34on the back or, you know, just, he's a designer.
- 1:19:37So if if you're one of those people out there that's you
- 1:19:40know, not, you know, if, if you're, if your house looks like
- 1:19:47a frat house and you've got no unique what, what would you call
- 1:19:51that if you're designed inept? Yeah, there you go.
- 1:19:55That sounds sounds. Good faith faith.
- 1:19:58And that's what I like the colors like even like everything
- 1:20:03that and you know, because you've done this for so long,
- 1:20:06where to troubleshoot and how to handle.
- 1:20:09A difficult detailed. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 1:20:13It's crucial looking at detail in this industry.
- 1:20:18If you're not, if you're not paying attention to detail, then
- 1:20:22you may not have that repeat customer, especially when it
- 1:20:26comes to designing. You want that brand to stand out
- 1:20:30clear at all times, right? When I first started at Colorado
- 1:20:35Media School, one of the problems I had was I didn't
- 1:20:40verify people. I I did a show and this guy
- 1:20:47didn't back up the pictures. Then I had opportunity in
- 1:20:52another state. She says send me this, send me
- 1:20:55that. I called him.
- 1:20:57He didn't. He didn't.
- 1:20:58He didn't have it. It broke my heart.
- 1:21:01Yeah, see. It broke my heart.
- 1:21:04Because. Because I couldn't recover from
- 1:21:08it. And then I, I don't remember how
- 1:21:14I saw, saw the ad, but tell us, tell us.
- 1:21:17Barnes was there. He said, and I told him this
- 1:21:21whole, the whole story. He said he, he said, Miss V, we,
- 1:21:26we're going to get you branded. We, we, we're going to do this.
- 1:21:29We're going to do that. But really, I only had three
- 1:21:32questions and everybody answered my 3 questions.
- 1:21:38Are you supposed to back up this stuff?
- 1:21:42You know, just answer my 3 questions.
- 1:21:46Be, be, be and let me know I'm not stupid after all this time
- 1:21:52because it, it's enough when people don't trust your
- 1:21:55judgement to, to get this far in my career.
- 1:22:01You know, I I thought I'd never recovered, but I did.
- 1:22:07Oh yeah. Good, good, good.
- 1:22:08And that that's everything to me trust.
- 1:22:14And I told told Holly it was a pleasure being around people
- 1:22:21that the same. It is every, every it it wasn't
- 1:22:28a no time competition. Everybody's trying to do
- 1:22:32something and it was refreshing. And that's, that's what I like
- 1:22:37what you're saying right now, because really that really
- 1:22:41opened up my eyes of how I can utilize the new people, you
- 1:22:48know, just starting in this industry and stuff like that to
- 1:22:52help me brand this, this, this, you know, sensation design.
- 1:22:59Because one thing I like about it is there's so many different
- 1:23:04creative people out there doing a lot of creative stuff.
- 1:23:08And that's what my business is really focused on is creating,
- 1:23:13right? So being able to have those
- 1:23:16people to watch grow or watch, you know, their whole mindset
- 1:23:27change, that's key. And that's that's why I got into
- 1:23:32this industry was because it can profit or it could, it could
- 1:23:38benefit all of us. And that's what I really, really
- 1:23:40like. I want to see you do good.
- 1:23:44I want, I want to see you do good, you know?
- 1:23:47So there's, there's, there's something that's really fun that
- 1:23:50when you've been doing this as long as I have, like seeing
- 1:23:54creatives, a lot of creatives and anybody that even walks in
- 1:23:59to that Colorado media school, I'm like, you're creative and
- 1:24:02they're like me. A lot of creatives aren't ready
- 1:24:06to wear that word. And then I, I have had the
- 1:24:13opportunity to watch you guys, like you said, when you saw
- 1:24:17that, that guy in the van doing his thing.
- 1:24:21But there's something that either connects or is said or
- 1:24:26something you guys noticed and it, I've seen it in both of you
- 1:24:29where this light in your eyes just goes poof.
- 1:24:33And I'm like, push them down that path further, right?
- 1:24:38But like you said, not everybody's the same.
- 1:24:43We all have certain things that we we don't have to like.
- 1:24:47We're already motivated to do it.
- 1:24:51And then and in addition, if if it had not been for that school,
- 1:24:59I wouldn't know that we need every facet of it.
- 1:25:04Yes, you don't have to be good at it, but you need to know it.
- 1:25:09You need to know this is that it branding is important and
- 1:25:15marketing and everything. Otherwise you just stuck with
- 1:25:20people get stuck with what they think they're good at.
- 1:25:27I only do this. I only do that.
- 1:25:31You need to expose yourself to to.
- 1:25:33You need to expose exposure. That's what that's crucial
- 1:25:36because with sensation design, I, I've, I've, I've, I've tried
- 1:25:42to cover all areas of any kind of printing or now digital
- 1:25:49creating or editing and things like that.
- 1:25:51So that's where that school came into play.
- 1:25:54It was like it just gave me more tools, gave me the ability to
- 1:25:59offer more services. And that's what I like is being
- 1:26:04able to create things and make it visible for the people.
- 1:26:08It's super fun. It's super fun man, especially.
- 1:26:12When you figure it out. But that's The thing is so with
- 1:26:15digitizing on embroidery, right? It's it's like coloring.
- 1:26:20Oh yeah. Yeah, you wouldn't even realize
- 1:26:22it, but the software is like coloring.
- 1:26:26So what I do is I'll take your image, OK, and I'll put it in
- 1:26:29there and I trace it. I trace it with the software and
- 1:26:35that's basically it. That's.
- 1:26:37How you That's how you vector it.
- 1:26:39That's how I digitize for embroidery.
- 1:26:41Yeah, OK. Some people, they don't
- 1:26:43understand, it could be that easy, but this is my way of kind
- 1:26:46of given you a easy, you know, look on how this process works.
- 1:26:52This process is really super easy.
- 1:26:55And when I started to really learn it, it was really easy to
- 1:27:02learn because now going back to the beginning, right when I was
- 1:27:07at the festival and I seen this plotter and that's when I bought
- 1:27:11that plotter. And so, but that software is the
- 1:27:15same style of software in a sense as the embroidery
- 1:27:20software. The, the embroid, the software
- 1:27:23for the vinyl is a tracing software, right?
- 1:27:28And now the embroidery, it's like a coloring software, you
- 1:27:32know what I mean? So yeah, it's like, you know, I,
- 1:27:37I, I moved to California for a couple years and I didn't have
- 1:27:41no friends, you know what I mean?
- 1:27:42I, I went out there to do printing and the printing
- 1:27:46industry and I work with a company called Printomize
- 1:27:51America. They're out there in the harbor
- 1:27:54city of California and check it out.
- 1:28:00I, I went to the, I went to the, the trade show.
- 1:28:04That was like the first booth I went to and you know, I finished
- 1:28:09out the show what not, but that was the first company I went to
- 1:28:13because what I did is when I moved to California, first thing
- 1:28:16I did was go to the the Expo, find all the people local, you
- 1:28:22know what I mean? And then I started hitting their
- 1:28:24shops trying to, you know, get my face familiar and with these
- 1:28:31guys because those because. Those are your people.
- 1:28:33Yeah, because this is what I've been doing, right?
- 1:28:35Yeah. Those are your career buddies.
- 1:28:36And so I got stuck with Printomise America.
- 1:28:38I I ended up at their shop and I didn't go anywhere else.
- 1:28:42And it was super fun. I learned a lot and those guys
- 1:28:47are really good to work with. But what happened is then I come
- 1:28:51back to Colorado and I really focused on embroidery.
- 1:28:55So even when I was in California and not having, you know, a
- 1:28:59whole lot to do, except for maybe sightsee and stuff like
- 1:29:02that, I really kept my head, which like some people in school
- 1:29:06would be the books, but I really kept my mind in the computer
- 1:29:09with the software. And so when you talk software,
- 1:29:13you know, and you talk Adobe, right?
- 1:29:15So Adobe is very intimidating and a lot to in a lot of ways to
- 1:29:19a lot of people. OK, so that's what I, I, I did
- 1:29:23is I, I, I told myself this was something I was going to
- 1:29:27overcome. And that's what I focused on.
- 1:29:30And that's how, yeah, that's that's how, that's how, you
- 1:29:33know, I really stuck inside and, you know, I started messing with
- 1:29:38the, the embroidery software more and then Adobe.
- 1:29:43So I spent a couple years just focusing on those two things
- 1:29:48with no distractions. And that's that's really where
- 1:29:53the time came. So your UVDTF stickers for our
- 1:29:57listeners out there that don't understand what that is like,
- 1:30:01what kind of sticker is that? Right.
- 1:30:03So the cool part about that sticker is that's the new
- 1:30:06sticker. This is the new sticker game.
- 1:30:09Like we could print die cut stickers all day, but you want
- 1:30:13your sticker to have character and so the UV printing is like a
- 1:30:19whole another way of giving that sticker or even, you know,
- 1:30:25label. You can use them as labels or
- 1:30:28what not character and the the the the ink is processed and
- 1:30:35then the the the UV lighting kind of cures the scratch
- 1:30:42resistant type of material that's in the actual ink.
- 1:30:46So you could put them on your water bottle?
- 1:30:48Yeah, they're machine washable. Yeah, scratch, scratch
- 1:30:51resistant. And I'll tell you right now,
- 1:30:54I've I've had one sticker on my phone for shoot man a couple
- 1:30:58years now. And like you, you know, they're
- 1:31:01really, they're really very, very durable for, for, you know,
- 1:31:07your cups and anything you want to put it on.
- 1:31:10So are they? How?
- 1:31:11How are they so? So basically how they're sold
- 1:31:15really is just by the sheet. By the sheet.
- 1:31:18Yeah. So, So what I do when I when I
- 1:31:21when I print these sheets is I try to give the customer the
- 1:31:24ability to be able to maximize your profit on that sheet
- 1:31:30instead of trying to charge you by the inch.
- 1:31:33A lot of people out here be trying to really, you know, get
- 1:31:37the customer's pocket man. And here I'm trying to help you
- 1:31:42put money in your pocket. That's the difference between me
- 1:31:45and some other companies because I focus on you getting the most
- 1:31:51for your money. And that's the best way to do it
- 1:31:53is by, you know, size of sheet. Are you nonprofit?
- 1:31:58No, I've everything I've done has come out of my pocket.
- 1:32:02Yeah, yeah. Never, never been a nonprofit.
- 1:32:06Never even thought of being a nonprofit to be honest, but I do
- 1:32:10believe in doing charity work and I do believe in sponsorship,
- 1:32:14you know, type of stuff. I'm so psyched you got to come
- 1:32:18on the show today and definitely brag about yourself.
- 1:32:23I could brag about you for I could say hours, hours, hours,
- 1:32:30good work, work ethic, hard worker and and you're you're
- 1:32:35you're a future seer for sure. You know where you have to stay.
- 1:32:40You know, you have to stay savvy.
- 1:32:42You have to stay savvy and and seeing like the amount you post
- 1:32:45and how you advertise yourself, you're crushing it.
- 1:32:47But we're going to do this thing called our, our two-minute time
- 1:32:51to shine. And what that is, is that's
- 1:32:53where if I didn't ask you anything and you, if I forgot to
- 1:32:57ask you something that you wanted to talk about or you want
- 1:32:59to plug yourself. But for me, like with you, like
- 1:33:03I, I remember telling you, I can't wait to sign your paycheck
- 1:33:06like so many times. But if there's if there's
- 1:33:09something like a, a, a dream collab or if you have an event
- 1:33:14or something, if you want to even place an order to the
- 1:33:17universe, this is this is your time to do it today's.
- 1:33:22Time to Shine is brought to you by Dunkin' Donuts veterans and
- 1:33:271st Responders runs on Dunkin. This is.
- 1:33:33Your time. To shine, Believe me, it's a
- 1:33:36time to shine. It's.
- 1:33:39My time to shine. All right, welcome back.
- 1:33:43Let's shine together. How about that?
- 1:33:45Shining. See, that's what it's about.
- 1:33:48Yeah. That's what it's about is, you
- 1:33:51know, everybody winning. That's that's the key for me.
- 1:33:55And I focus on, you know, you know, putting smiles on faces
- 1:34:01and being able to, you know, bring people's confident up, you
- 1:34:05know, and inspire the people, encourage them along with that
- 1:34:11knowledge and wisdom. That's key.
- 1:34:15I want to thank everybody, you know, for giving me the
- 1:34:18opportunity to be able to really work with some good people, some
- 1:34:24some inspiring people and some people to help, you know, give
- 1:34:28me extra tools because that's what it is, right?
- 1:34:32Like people helping people. That's what we need more of,
- 1:34:36right? Yes and all.
- 1:34:38Yeah, that's that. Tools, people and power.
- 1:34:41That's right. Your network is where it's at.
- 1:34:44And you know, for all our listeners out there, you, I
- 1:34:48mean, this, this, this was the epic, epic interview.
- 1:34:51Especially if you're a small business out there and you've
- 1:34:54just got the logo and you want to take it to merch or you want
- 1:34:57to take it to a really cool. What is it?
- 1:34:59The UVT? Yeah.
- 1:35:01The the UVDTF, those are stickers and the, the UV and you
- 1:35:07have the DTF transfers those those that's the newest, that's
- 1:35:11the newest wave of printing right now, like screen printing.
- 1:35:14Here's the downfall with all that is because screen printing
- 1:35:18really is become more expensive. DTF has put it to an affordable
- 1:35:27level for people to be able to brand themselves or start a
- 1:35:33business. So this is your guide to go to
- 1:35:35all things logo, all things stickers, new and unique.
- 1:35:38I want to give you a big thank you, Chris Forbes once again,
- 1:35:42and you can reach out to chris.forbes@gmail.com.

- 1:36:14Call. The service member's name is
- 1:36:16called out loud in the context of a unit.
- 1:36:18This is meant to ensure all are present and accounted for.
- 1:36:22Second call. The name is called out again
- 1:36:25louder to confirm that the service member is indeed absent.
- 1:36:30Third call. The name is called out for a
- 1:36:32final time, followed by a statement indicating that the
- 1:36:35service member is not present and accounted for, signifying
- 1:36:39their death. The final roll call serves as a
- 1:36:42symbolic gesture to respect and remember their service.
- 1:36:51Sir, I don't. I don't know how to tell the
- 1:36:54story. Well, you got the joke you tell
- 1:36:58the people with these men did here.
- 1:37:01You tell them how much troopers died.

- 1:48:52Got your butt? Hole, but you got to do the.
- 1:48:55Yep, got your butt hole. Got.
- 1:48:57Your butt hole where you put a little thumb in there to make it
- 1:49:00look like you did. There we go.
- 1:49:03That's the next shirt. We're going to do the Bad Holly
- 1:49:06Morning show right on the breath and on back of it.
- 1:49:09We're going to put got your butt hole.
- 1:49:13I assume we got some. What's that sounds in here?
- 1:49:16Do we? Oh, snap, Yeah, we can do.
- 1:49:18We can do that real quick. We don't have to do the final
- 1:49:21moments until 55 after. So we just got some time I'd pay
- 1:49:26for. These awesome.
- 1:49:27What's that sounds to go away? Let's do it.
- 1:49:29All right, sound #1 let's see what it is, all right.
- 1:49:44Sounds like a pig with heartburn.
- 1:49:47No, it sounds like a pig giving birth.
- 1:49:50No, it wasn't that intense. What do you think?
- 1:49:52I thought. It was.
- 1:49:53It was a. Pig.
- 1:49:54Yeah, OK, something. Pig like.
- 1:49:57We created it, so I'm going to keep quiet.
- 1:50:00OK, do. We not get to know what the
- 1:50:02sound was. So no, you do, you get, you get
- 1:50:04hit the hit the second, yeah. All right, we'll see if we were
- 1:50:07right. Was it a pig?
- 1:50:36Oh, that's. Oh, that's definitely.
- 1:50:39A winged demon. Yeah.
- 1:50:42Except you like it was a microscopic sound, so I wouldn't
- 1:50:46be surprised. To fly that flies directly into
- 1:50:49your effing ear. I I I I'm going to say a wasp
- 1:50:53cause wasp are pretty loud it. Was a.
- 1:50:58Bug. It was a bug.
- 1:50:59A bug? She's like I'm hitting every.
- 1:51:02Category. Oh yeah, there we go.
- 1:51:04Something with six legs and wings and it's directly in your
- 1:51:08ear hole. What do you think?
- 1:51:08Look at I think it's a wasp. Yeah, I I agree with the wasp.
- 1:51:13Yeah, for sure. All right, let's find out.
- 1:51:16What's that sound? What's that sound?
- 1:51:29Sorry, I like that part. It's catchy, it's kind of nice
- 1:51:33to meet you. That was fun.
- 1:51:37I mean, I I think you guys nailed them that.
- 1:51:39So next next week, I'm going to have to put a little more
- 1:51:42muscle. In it.
- 1:51:43I was trying to find like, I, I was searching on TikTok to find
- 1:51:47like crazy random noises, like stuff you guys wouldn't you
- 1:51:50know, like, you know, maybe like blowing air out of your lip, out
- 1:51:54of your tight lips. Does you have a dog?
- 1:51:59Does your dog snore? Both of my Well, no, the little
- 1:52:03one doesn't pee. Pee doesn't snore.
- 1:52:06Yeah, no, I. Don't Why did you name your dog
- 1:52:10Pee? It's so funny 'cause my uncle
- 1:52:14Bran's like I cannot believe I have to yell pee in the morning.
- 1:52:20Your dog. Out.
- 1:52:21Spell pee spelled pea. So it, it her, her, you know,
- 1:52:24every, everything is simplified these days.
- 1:52:26So it's Sweet Pea because she's a bull mastiff copper Husky and
- 1:52:31she her father was one of the biggest dogs I'd ever seen in my
- 1:52:35life. So the joke was like, I'm going
- 1:52:38to name her something that's tiny because she's going to be
- 1:52:40gigantic. So like a little sweet pea,
- 1:52:42right? And we everybody she's she's
- 1:52:46just pee. She's pee.
- 1:52:47She's the how big she's got to be pushing, like probably 100
- 1:52:55and 45 or more, so she's a big dog.
- 1:52:58So how many snap peas would you say she's?
- 1:53:01Equivalent, That's a good question.
- 1:53:03She's, she is the sweetest. She, she is a straight up guard
- 1:53:07dog. Cause I've, I've, I've, I've
- 1:53:09lived a life, you know, of, of people that are envious.
- 1:53:12And she, I acquired her when I had my first guard dog.
- 1:53:16And I was worried that well, when this, this my first guard
- 1:53:20dog was getting older and I said, uh oh.
- 1:53:22So I got sweepy to learn from the first dog, who his his name
- 1:53:28was Tank. And she is, she's a boss.
- 1:53:31If if you come in the house unannounced, she will put you to
- 1:53:34the wall. She won't bite you, but she'll
- 1:53:37put you to the wall. I, I had, I, I was with a play.
- 1:53:42I was in a place out in Longmont and I had this long sidewalk
- 1:53:49that went to our our gate and I used to train her to keep
- 1:53:54somebody at the third sidewalk, like hold her like nobody got
- 1:53:59past the third sidewalk except for one day, a crazy neighbor, a
- 1:54:05crazy neighbor. This lady had just moved in.
- 1:54:08She's probably listening and she got past the third sidewalk,
- 1:54:16which says a lot. I think P was afraid of her and
- 1:54:20I, and she's getting closer to my front porch and I, I come out
- 1:54:24and I'm shaming my dog. What is wrong with you?
- 1:54:27You're supposed to have her at the third sidewalk, like in
- 1:54:30front of this lady to let her know I was crazy too.
- 1:54:32It's the what you do, right? So I was like, technically you
- 1:54:36were supposed to be attacked. Little heads up before you just
- 1:54:40walk into my, you know, my yard there lately.
- 1:54:44So, but that's, that's how my life was for a long time.
- 1:54:46I had people crawling through my windows.
- 1:54:49I had people crawling through my windows and turning on my, my
- 1:54:54kitchen sink. I would come home to a flooded
- 1:54:56kitchen and I, I, I definitely lived through some stuff.
- 1:55:00So that dog is a huge blessing. But yeah, you, you don't just
- 1:55:04walk into my house. I don't.
- 1:55:07You don't walk into anybody's house.
- 1:55:09Comfort in that. I take comfort in that.
- 1:55:12You had some real interesting crackheads.
- 1:55:14In. Your.
- 1:55:15Name breaking in just leaving the kitchen sink.
- 1:55:17On and you wonder why we need a key for the bathroom here at the
- 1:55:20studio and that. You know that, that's why you
- 1:55:23know what it's, it's all online. It's people that were envious of
- 1:55:27me online at the time. And since then I've, I have
- 1:55:31really like upscaled modest, you know, I don't show off anything
- 1:55:37because I don't want to give anybody a reason to get crazy,
- 1:55:40you know, So, and then and how I talk and, and a, a lot of times
- 1:55:45I, I, I like to hit the save button.
- 1:55:47And because there's, there's a lot of stuff out there that I
- 1:55:50mean, like a lot of the young girls nowadays, I'm like, oh
- 1:55:53Lord, girl, you're going to need a guard dog.
- 1:55:55Right, right. You're.
- 1:55:57Going to need a guard. Dog.
- 1:55:59Well, hey, it's that time. It is the final thought.
- 1:56:02It's. So nice. 5544. 33211 we have
- 1:56:12ignition stripping. It's the two-minute.
- 1:56:14Warning. Minute warning what we are.
- 1:56:21You. Not at Project ML Gratitude.
- 1:56:25Our mission is simple, to give motorcycles to veterans who need
- 1:56:28the kind of peace and freedom that only a ride can give.
- 1:56:33And just so you know, if you were a veteran and you're in
- 1:56:36need of a motorcycle, especially here in Colorado, you can
- 1:56:41nominate a veteran or talk to your friend about nominating
- 1:56:45you. You also can receive a
- 1:56:48motorcycle from ML Gratitude Fantastic nonprofit.
- 1:56:53They were just on the news for Hometown Hero Award.
- 1:56:58So you know that that's that's one of our big sponsors, Huge,
- 1:57:05little big. So I should say big.
- 1:57:07So everybody's bigger than me, you know, taller than me,
- 1:57:10everybody. So where?
- 1:57:12Where do they go to submit that? They go to MO Gratitude's
- 1:57:16website. OK.
- 1:57:17Yeah, that's cool. Yeah, So what did we learn
- 1:57:21today? I learned that you, you know, my
- 1:57:29expectations are just chill. You know, our, our technical
- 1:57:33difficulties early. You never know, you know, when,
- 1:57:37when the world's going to shake you.
- 1:57:39And I think I'm just happy to hang out with a bunch of really
- 1:57:42cool people. And I got a bunch of really cool
- 1:57:44people in my life. And you know in this opportunity
- 1:57:48that you give us every Friday is epic.
- 1:57:51And I I learned that I don't need to freak out HG and
- 1:57:55Caveman. They they know what they're
- 1:57:57doing. You know, they they had it.
- 1:57:59I'm like, hey, you, you need me? No, no, I I got it.
- 1:58:03OK. All right.
- 1:58:04Yeah. No.
- 1:58:05Sweat. Yeah, this Vicky, what did you
- 1:58:07learn? I learned that the journey is
- 1:58:12just that. It's a journey.
- 1:58:14Yeah. You, you can't lose If, if, if
- 1:58:23it didn't work out, it's a lesson.
- 1:58:25Yeah, keep going. That usually the longer it
- 1:58:29takes, the better it is. Don't take shortcake, don't
- 1:58:33take, don't take shortcuts 'cause you get what you pay for.
- 1:58:38You know what I mean? You get what you pay for.
- 1:58:40So whatever you do, enjoy the journey.
- 1:58:45Enjoy the journey because it makes everything.
- 1:58:51It makes it you. You appreciate it more.
- 1:58:54Especially if you're in it, you know?
- 1:58:56Yeah, HJ, what did you learn? I learned that the the first
- 1:59:00person you got to get to invest in you is, is you.
- 1:59:04Yeah, perfect. Lucas.
- 1:59:08Mr. Skydiver, what did you learn today?
- 1:59:12Just that there's a whole host of varieties of stickers and
- 1:59:18print options that I that I had no idea about.
- 1:59:22And yeah, definitely hitting up Chris.
- 1:59:25Right. See you if you got some Aries
- 1:59:28brood designs man. See.
- 1:59:29Hell yeah. There you go.
- 1:59:31There's or sure there's something to wear while you.
- 1:59:33There you go. Yeah.
