- 0:01Speaker 1: What's up everyone, and welcome back to the Epstein Chronicles.
- 0:05Hope that everybody had a great weekend out there, folks,
- 0:08and hopefully you're all recharged and ready to go to
- 0:12tackle this week. On today's Morning Update, we're going to
- 0:16discuss Robert Maxwell a little bit more as we prepare
- 0:21for the new documentary House of Maxwell to release over
- 0:26in England. Now, Robert Maxwell was obviously an asset. He
- 0:32obviously worked for several different intelligence organizations, and he was
- 0:37a man who only had loyalty to himself. This is
- 0:41something we have established a long time ago. But now
- 0:45with this new documentary coming out, the Unsullied a getting
- 0:49a little taste as well, and I'm here for it.
- 0:51You know, there's a lot of people that want to
- 0:54denigrate these streaming services, that want to talk trash when
- 0:57these documentaries come out, and while I agree they don't
- 1:02do more than scratch the surface, more times than not,
- 1:05I think it's very important as a jump off point.
- 1:08Same thing with Filthy Rich and the rest of the
- 1:11documentaries that have come out. I can't tell you how
- 1:13many people I know had no idea about Jeffrey Epstein
- 1:18and what he was up to until they watched you know, uh,
- 1:22Filthy Rich or one of the other documentaries that have
- 1:25been that have been put out, and from there they
- 1:28begin their journey down the old Epstein rabbit hole. And
- 1:31before you know it, I'm getting emails from them asking
- 1:35me how this could all be real? And I wish
- 1:38I had an answer for you, folks, And I wish
- 1:40I had an answer for them, because I don't know
- 1:42how this could be real. But here we are, immersed
- 1:45in it, watching it unfold in real time. You you know,
- 1:52I would hope that this kind of thing is a
- 1:54conspiracy theory, that these sort of people don't exist, but
- 1:57unfortunately they do, and people like Robert Maxwell have been
- 2:02manipulating the intelligence industry for a very long time. They'll
- 2:06work for whoever the highest bidder is, and there's no
- 2:09secret safe with them. Do you think that a guy
- 2:12like Robert Maxwell wasn't passing secrets on to multiple agencies?
- 2:17And that's why when people get caught up on the
- 2:20whole Masade angle, I just have to shake my head.
- 2:23Now I get it. Look, the Massade isn't a group
- 2:25of good people. They're like every other intelligence service, another
- 2:29group of people who have a charter to be scumbags, basically.
- 2:35But when people try and elevate the masade as like
- 2:39this all knowing arm of a new globalization movement or whatever,
- 2:45it's ridiculous to me. My problem has always been and
- 2:51always will be the CIA. A because I'm an American
- 2:57and well they're supposed to represent me in my beliefs,
- 3:00and B because every single time you see some shit
- 3:04going down in the world, you can guarantee that the
- 3:06CIA is not far behind. And I'm tired of it.
- 3:10The way they spend our tax dollars for regime change
- 3:13and the rest of it. You can count me out
- 3:15on all of it. But Robert Maxwell was working as
- 3:20an asset for several different intelligence agencies, So what would
- 3:24make you think that his daughter and Jeffrey Epstein wouldn't
- 3:28be doing the same exact thing exactly Like we talked
- 3:32about here on the podcast years ago, we talked about
- 3:39how Maxwell and Epstein were homies before all of this fact.
- 3:44Now we're hearing about how Robert Maxwell was working for
- 3:48multiple agencies. Well, that's a fact too. We've talked about it,
- 3:51we established it, we've heard from sources. But now the
- 3:56legacy media is catching up and hopefully what it does
- 3:59is it creates a firestorm of people being interested in
- 4:02what's going on here and wanting to know more, because personally,
- 4:07only getting a surface look is not enough for me,
- 4:09considering everything we know and considering all the people that
- 4:12were involved, I'd like a little bit more information, please,
- 4:16So we're going to continue pulling on the thread, all right,
- 4:21So today's episode. Today's article is from The Daily Mail
- 4:26and the headline is Robert Maxwell had no loyalties other
- 4:30than to himself. Author claims tycoon worked for both British
- 4:34and Russian intelligence agencies, while former kg BE chief called
- 4:39him special in Unseen Footage and New documentary. This article
- 4:44was authored by LaToya Gail. So, look, we know what
- 4:50Maxwell is, Robert Maxwell. We've already established who he is
- 4:53and what he was up to. Now, though, when it
- 4:56all starts to come out, you're going to see more
- 4:59and more that he was working for multiple agencies, the
- 5:03same way Epstein was and the same way Maxwell was.
- 5:09An investigative journalist has claimed that doomed media tycoon Robert
- 5:13Maxwell didn't have any loyalties in an eye opening new
- 5:17documentary which delves into the last few years of his
- 5:20life at the helm of his financially struggling publishing empire.
- 5:26So the whole story of the Maxwell clan, the Maxwell
- 5:30family is bananas, right. If this guy would have done
- 5:33the right thing, Robert Maxwell, he would have been a
- 5:36legitimate hero coming from the Holocaust, making a life for
- 5:40himself and his family, you know, turning the corner, becoming
- 5:43rich and powerful. But nope, that's not good enough. I
- 5:47have to become rich and powerful and then become a scumbags.
- 5:52It's unbelievable. Every single one of these people. They get
- 5:55to like a certain amount of money and then like
- 5:58some some flip is switched where where they become automatic
- 6:03scumbags right away. The first episode of BBC's House of Maxwell,
- 6:09which Arizon BBC tomorrow at nine pm, reveals that Robert
- 6:13Maxwell had ties to Russia's KGB and mi I six,
- 6:17even wanting Britain's intelligence agency to fund is publishing company. Well,
- 6:23we know that the CIA loves getting involved in the
- 6:26media here in America. Look how many EXCIA agents or
- 6:30assets or intelligence agents are working in your corporate media.
- 6:35Just take a look at MSNBC or Fox or CNN.
- 6:38The very same people that got up there signed some
- 6:41letter in their brazen bullshit talking about how the laptop
- 6:45is fake, this, that or the other thing, And people
- 6:48were just willing to go along with all of that
- 6:50because it fed into their confirmation bias. But these types
- 6:54of things and the legacy media continuing to lie by omission,
- 7:02you know, people have had enough and people are looking
- 7:04behind the curtain a little bit more now, and people
- 7:07are trusting but verifying at this point, and that's what
- 7:11you should always be doing. You should never take anything
- 7:15just at face value. Do a little bit of research yourself,
- 7:19especially if it's something important. Right, even when I'm telling
- 7:22you stuff, I expect you folks to go and check
- 7:26these links, to check the sources and to make sure
- 7:29I'm not selling you up the river. But the legacy media,
- 7:33they have no desire in giving you folks the truth.
- 7:36They only have a desire in pushing a narrative one
- 7:39way or the other, depending on which side you're listening to.
- 7:42So they both have these competing realities at this point.
- 7:45Right then, the rest of us are in actual reality
- 7:48and we're saying to ourselves, what the fuck are these
- 7:51people doing. Investigative journalist Tom Bauer, who was prevented from
- 7:59distributing a book about the media tycoon claimed Maxwell wanted
- 8:03everyone to know that he was a decorated war hero,
- 8:06but was reluctant to share his shady past. Well, of
- 8:10course he was. Guys like this don't like to share
- 8:12their past, right, They've been up to no good for
- 8:15a very long time, and Robert Maxwell was no different.
- 8:18Here they're talking about how he was working for British
- 8:21and Russian intelligence. We already know he worked for the Macade.
- 8:25And if you think the CIA didn't have their fat
- 8:27paws all over him, you think again. He said he
- 8:33was working for both British intelligence and Russian intelligence, no
- 8:36loyalties other than to himself. Now remember at this time
- 8:40as well, we're talking about the Soviet Union. We're talking about,
- 8:43you know, the situation where the whole world was basically
- 8:47on edge. And Robert Maxwell, he's over here working for
- 8:52mi I six as well as the KGB. Who knows
- 8:55what sort of secrets this dude has shared? And this
- 9:00goes for Epstein. It's something nobody really talks about. But
- 9:03he was collecting all of these scientists and it wasn't
- 9:05just for his own purposes. It wasn't just because he
- 9:08wanted to see the world with his DNA allows part
- 9:11of it, but it also had to do with collecting
- 9:13the information that they had with whatever sort of project
- 9:18they were working on, so Epstein could get his grubby
- 9:20fingers on it and then sell that shit to the
- 9:23highest bidder, the same way his buddy Bob Maxwell worked. Meanwhile,
- 9:30in a previously unseen clip filmed in nineteen ninety two,
- 9:33former kg BE chief Leonard Shabarshan explained Maxwell was a
- 9:38special person. He was received as he is. Our alliance
- 9:42was golden, useful efficient relations. A foreigner can be useful
- 9:46to us as a person with access to some information
- 9:49who would willingly or unwillingly share it with us. So
- 9:53if they're unwilling to share it, what they do is
- 9:55they catch you up in a honeytrap operation like Jeffriyotte
- 9:59Epstein was running. Do you really think that all of
- 10:02those scientists, all of those people with knowledge of private,
- 10:07secretive programs, weren't spilling the beans, weren't talking about things
- 10:13when they were in the rooms with those girls with
- 10:15everything wired. Of course they were. That was part of it.
- 10:18Remember what the survivors told you. They said that part
- 10:21of it was to get these dudes to talk while
- 10:23they were with these girls. And this is right out
- 10:28of the playbook of Spycraft one oh one. Folks exploit
- 10:32people's sexual proclivities. Tom, who delved into Maxwell's life to
- 10:41write the Truth in his book, detailed how the media
- 10:44tycoon had practiced building connections. Tom said, his life in
- 10:48postwar Berlin is where things got very shady. He runs
- 10:52a very lucrative black market operation, buying and selling cigarettes,
- 10:55nylon and all chewing gum food everything. So look again,
- 11:00if Robert Maxwell was just hustling like this, selling black
- 11:03market shit in the aftermath of the war, then there's
- 11:08no reason to even talk about the guy. Right. In fact,
- 11:11you'd probably put him up as a case study on
- 11:13how to conduct yourself. But that's not what happened here, right,
- 11:17Another one of these people who had a chance to
- 11:19really do good and be a person that you know,
- 11:24the rest of us could look up to. Nah, screw that,
- 11:27Why should I do that? Instead, what I'm going to
- 11:30do is be an absolute scumbag. I'm gonna work for
- 11:32a bunch of intelligence agencies. I'm not gonna have loyalty
- 11:35to my country, to myself, to my family, to anybody.
- 11:38All I'm going to have loyalty to is the mighty dollar.
- 11:43And that's basically how Robert Maxwell decided to live his life.
- 11:48He is the heart of taking goods from zone to
- 11:51zone and putting the cash in his pockets. He continued.
- 11:54Maxwell was someone who wants power, influence wealth, and to
- 11:58change the world. The sad part is when you and
- 12:00I think about changing the world, we think about good. Right,
- 12:03That's not the case here, not the case with Maxwell anyway.
- 12:06This dude wants nothing to do with being good. He
- 12:09wanted to consolidate his power and have more. He goes
- 12:15across to Russia, declares himself and gets along very well
- 12:18with them and establishes good connections. He becomes a KGB agent.
- 12:24Tom Reville that Maxwell had presented himself to I six
- 12:27around the same time while claiming to have made amazing
- 12:31connections with scientists all around the world. Who does that
- 12:34sound like, folks? And if you put the pieces together,
- 12:38we know that Maxwell and Epstein were friendly before all
- 12:40of this, and I am willing to bet at this
- 12:44point that Robert Maxwell was one of Jeffrey Epstein's first mentors.
- 12:50One of the first men to really point them in
- 12:52this direction and show him how powerful you could be
- 12:56working as an asset for intelligence. And this is a
- 13:01strategy that had carried over with Epstein as well. Right,
- 13:04if you have access to the scientists who are working
- 13:07on some of the most important secretive projects in the
- 13:10world out at Los Alamos, some working at the Santa
- 13:13Fe Institute and elsewhere, then you have your hands on
- 13:16some very, very very expensive secrets. Desmond Bristow six officer
- 13:27explained it was obvious that he had been doing odd
- 13:30things for Six from Germany already. Andy suggested we should
- 13:34subsidize him to buy a book business. I don't know
- 13:37if any other case. I was certainly never involved with
- 13:40Six buying a business for anybody. Tom added he was
- 13:44working for both British Intelligence and Russian intelligence, no loyalties
- 13:48other than to himself. After all this digging, it was
- 13:51finally time to start writing my book. Of course, Maxwell
- 13:56knew exactly what I was doing, and he did two things. First,
- 14:00he hired several private investigators who not only followed me,
- 14:04but extraordinarily set up secretly some sort of electronic device
- 14:08at the bottom of my garden at my home in
- 14:11North London. Again, folks, where to look. It's like the
- 14:14whole entire Epstein story was played out one time before us,
- 14:19without the molestation. Robert Maxwell dropped the blueprint. He's like
- 14:24Jay z right, dropping the blueprint. And now this man
- 14:27Jeffrey Epstein comes in his wake and just picks up
- 14:30the ball and takes it, you know, further down the field.
- 14:34But now he's adding some elaborate plays, meaning his child
- 14:37molestation and the sick proclivities to be able to read
- 14:43what I was writing as I was typing it up. Secondly,
- 14:46he commissioned his own book, The Flattering Hagiography. I had
- 14:51no doubt as I got towards the end of my
- 14:53book that Maxwell would prevent it from being published, and
- 14:57so I persuaded the publishers without much trouble that we
- 15:00should print it outside of England and import it as
- 15:03a gardening book. Well that's nice, huh. I mean, imagine
- 15:07you have to jump through these hoops because Robert Maxwell
- 15:09is as powerful in the in the industry that you
- 15:13work in, and you're trying to put out a book
- 15:15that is airing him out for the scumbag he is.
- 15:19But nobody is comfortable enough to put the book out.
- 15:22Everybody's scared. Nobody wants to deal with Robert Maxwell. But
- 15:26the reality is when these guys are actually confronted, when
- 15:33the chips are down, they're not as tough as they
- 15:35think they are. Archived footage shows Robert Maxwell admitting that
- 15:41he'd consistently refused to release a biography before describing Tom's
- 15:46book as a hatchet job. The publisher then went on
- 15:50to say he would sue reliable anyone who handled the book,
- 15:53including the author, bookshops and distributors. So again, another one
- 15:58of these uh people who want to tell you that
- 16:04they're going to sue you at every step of the way.
- 16:07Another person that thinks that they're so powerful no one
- 16:10can say anything untowards about them, even if it's true,
- 16:15or they're going to sue you. It's just it's crazy
- 16:18that these people have this much power. Tom explained, like
- 16:22a pack of cards, they all collapsed. The establishment of
- 16:26the establishment was on Maxwell's side. He used terrorist tactics
- 16:30to suppress the truth and the book and You won.
- 16:34The documentary also revealed many of Robert Maxwell's senior staff
- 16:38at the Mirror newspaper group were afraid of him and
- 16:41felt unable to make decisions, including what color to paint
- 16:44the women's bathroom, without first consulting with him. I mean,
- 16:48imagine being that power hungry. You run this whole entire
- 16:51publishing empire, and you can't even see the responsibility of
- 16:55what color to paint the women's bathroom to your colleagues.
- 17:00People like that are never the kind of people that
- 17:03I want to work for, that's for sure. Those sort
- 17:05of people are usually scumbags like Robert Maxwell. Here's an idea,
- 17:10delegate a little bit. Your job is to run the
- 17:12paper and not steal people's pensions. Stop worrying about what
- 17:15color the women's bathroom is, and get to work on
- 17:19making more contacts or whatever it is. It claimed he
- 17:23had his own camera crew follow him because he was
- 17:26obsessed with his image while running the biggest one man
- 17:29business you could imagine. However, as his media empire grew,
- 17:34he brought his children to work alongside him, with Ian
- 17:37and Kevin as joint managing directors, while Golane would float
- 17:40in and out of the business, meaning she'd sit at
- 17:43his hip, right at his knee, and learn the family trade,
- 17:48learn the family secrets, learn how to get engaged in
- 17:51spycraft because that's look, we know that's what they were
- 17:54up they were up to. We know that this is
- 17:56a family that has these kinds of contacts. Seeing it
- 18:00right here, we've seen it before, and we know that
- 18:03Robert Maxwell was running information for a bunch of people.
- 18:06So Galaine Maxwell, learning at his knee, picked a few
- 18:10things up. Daddy saw the promise, the potential, found Epstein,
- 18:16and we are where we are now because of it,
- 18:20at least in my opinion. David Adler, who was Maxwell's
- 18:25communication executive, claimed he liked the idea of owning New
- 18:28York and bought the Daily newspaper while competing with Rupert Murdoch,
- 18:32who was also operating in the city. He was his
- 18:36best PR guy, and he didn't trust anyone else really.
- 18:39David said he was an expert in something called soft power.
- 18:43Soft power is a way of building trust. When you
- 18:45meet somebody face to face, you build the trust. It's
- 18:49the idea that when people connect, you have the right
- 18:51conversations with them. You're breaking bread with them and toasting properly.
- 18:55You're connecting with people. People care about the soft power
- 18:58and emotional stuff more than they care about the other stuff.
- 19:03So basically, in Layman's terms, he meets them and gaslights
- 19:07them because he has a strong charismatic personality at least
- 19:10according to this, and then gets them to go along
- 19:13with whatever he wants them to do by being that
- 19:16strong a type personality. David said that Maxwell was a
- 19:22master of using emotion to manipulate people. Christopher Mason added
- 19:27that his former friend Glaine was a superb networker who
- 19:30helped Maxwell navigate the power structures in New York while
- 19:34her rise was also happening. The media tycoon continued to
- 19:39purchase publications around the world a mid recession. So now
- 19:43remember Galan's in New York making these contacts, working for
- 19:47her dad, learning the trade, you know, building that black
- 19:50book that we all know about, all in hopes of
- 19:53preparing for the next part of their operation. You're a
- 20:00group secretary. Carol Brijoli said Maxwell had become suspicious and
- 20:04paranoid in the period before his death. His empire was
- 20:08found to have a two billion pound debt when he
- 20:11fell from his yacht in the Canary Islands in nineteen
- 20:13ninety one. Robert maxwell publishing empire began to collapse after
- 20:18banks loaning him huge sums were calling in for their
- 20:22money back, and well we all know the story. After that,
- 20:26Robert Maxwell falls off the yacht, kills himself, was pushed
- 20:30whatever it was, and ends up dead. Meanwhile, the pensions stolen,
- 20:35the money gone, the secrets already shared with other people,
- 20:40and all that was left was for Glen Maxwell to
- 20:44pick up the torch and keep on carrying it. All right, folks,
- 20:49that is going to do it for this morning's update.
