- 0:36to the fullest
- 0:52Hi, everyone.
- 0:53Welcome back, to authentic living with Roxanne.
- 0:56I have a very, very special guest today, a dear friend of mine, and, her name is Kindly July
- 1:03Gil.
- 1:04I hope I've said that correctly.
- 1:05She's, CEO from the UK.
- 1:07And, in the past, she's been responsible for over 3000 people in leadership and empowerment.
- 1:13She's now a revolutionary facilitator in a method Dalian Method, or health and
- 1:21consciousness.
- 1:22And when she's the founder of Spark, expansion consulting, something that I've tried, and I
- 1:27can tell you that I'm, you know, I'm blown away by some of the changes I've seen in myself.
- 1:33Skin Kidney specializes in family transformation for busy leaders and executives,
- 1:39helping them to find a peaceful presence at home and at work, She helps the clients find
- 1:44silence a source of stressors, triggers, sorry, and conscious, bias, judgment, anger, and
- 1:50fears.
- 1:50Her overall objective is to free people from themselves so they can meet the challenge of
- 1:55experiencing home life and work life in expansive, abundant ways.
- 2:00Thank you, Candy, for being here.
- 2:02Thanks for inviting me, Roxanne.
- 2:04Not a problem.
- 2:05So that's a fascinating story going from CEO to now transformational, coach, and I'd really
- 2:13like to hear a little bit about that process and, and kind of how you, how you got from
- 2:18there to here.
- 2:20It wasn't something I expected, because, obviously, as children, we have ideas about
- 2:26what we want to do in life.
- 2:28And for me, it was very clear that I wanted to use my skill set while I was very, extremely
- 2:32mathematical, very logical, and able to achieve goals relatively easily.
- 2:38And I remember flicking through the career books and thinking, what am I gonna do?
- 2:42And it felt like chartered accountancy is something I to be pursuing.
- 2:45And from that, I went into management consultancy, and then I became a finance
- 2:50director for a business.
- 2:51And for the same business became their chief executive.
- 2:55And within that industry for about 20 odd years, 17 years in the same company, And when I
- 3:03was approaching my fortieth birthday, a number of reasons for why I ended up exiting from that
- 3:08company, but there was a sense of, completion.
- 3:14Like, for example, my life in and the career that I had had, and the extreme stress that I
- 3:20carried during that time as a chief executive, I felt like those days were over, and my time
- 3:25as a leader in the industry was over, And really, it was more appropriate for me to put
- 3:31my energy into my home life and my family life, but I wasn't to know that I'm going to go full
- 3:37circle and look to help people again at some point because when I started working in the
- 3:43home environment, so to speak, I found that it was a lot tougher to be able to lead with ease
- 3:49and a lot tougher to be able to create that harmony that is easier to achieve in the
- 3:55boardroom or in the workplace because people come into the workplace for a job.
- 4:01And there is an exchange.
- 4:03They're getting cash or some benefit in exchange for their services.
- 4:07They have a bigger picture on in mind about their responsibility that they have for the
- 4:11company, but in the home, a lot more happens that is that drives the triggers a lot more
- 4:19honesty about the things that cause a stress get revealed.
- 4:24And our wounds surface.
- 4:27And I just found myself in this mire of situations where I really wanted to be at
- 4:32create the peace in harmony at home, and I wanted to understand why it was eluding me.
- 4:37And so therefore, a lot of work started to happen, which was around the judgments and the
- 4:43arguments and the differences of opinion and the clashes that arise.
- 4:48And at at those early stages, all I was looking to do was to improve my family life.
- 4:53I had no intention of doing anything beyond that.
- 4:57But because the power of the dalian method that we ended up using in our home was so extremely
- 5:02potent, it it just seemed more appropriate at a certain point down the path to start sharing
- 5:10the beauty of this method with other people, And, hence, I found myself in the
- 5:14transformation industry now helping to lead and empower people in a brand new way but in a way
- 5:20that really energizes and motivates them.
- 5:23So, like, I feel the circle came back round to the original start point.
- 5:30And now the benefit I'm bringing for people is exponentially powerful.
- 5:37Than it would have been when I was actually a chief exec.
- 5:40So interesting.
- 5:40Right?
- 5:40So, you know, having also been an executive.
- 5:45What it kinda sounds like you know, as a CEO, you kinda get things done.
- 5:50Right?
- 5:50You kinda go in and you lead and, you know, everybody kinda are supposed to do what you do,
- 5:55what what they need to do because of what you're putting out in a day.
- 5:59But it sounds like at home, it really kind of puts you at a different space because we can go
- 6:05to work sometimes 10, 12 hours, and be able to prolong that persona in order to achieve what
- 6:12we to.
- 6:13But at home, it's a little bit different.
- 6:15Right?
- 6:15It's almost like we drop our guard when we walk through the door.
- 6:19And then, you know, the real indie or the real Roxanne hand comes out.
- 6:23Would would that be fair to say?
- 6:24Yeah.
- 6:25I mean, you call this authentic living and what is true for most of us.
- 6:29I don't know how honest everybody is about it.
- 6:32What is true for most of us, but when we come into the home environment, we don't have as
- 6:37much energy or as much resource available, really, for the people that are around us.
- 6:43And we are so comfortable in their presence that sometimes our emotional intelligence or
- 6:50the god that helps to keep us mo emotionally intelligent in the workplace that falls away.
- 6:57And we have more of our own needs that come to the surface.
- 7:03So in a work environment, you know what your role is.
- 7:05You know what you're being our to do.
- 7:07You know what your objectives are.
- 7:08You're fulfilling that vision.
- 7:10So there's a responsibility that you have to other people.
- 7:15Whereas in the home environment, you go back to a little bit like the child that was being
- 7:22nurtured and after and raised and given and given and given, there's a part of us when we
- 7:28come into the home environment when we suddenly expect to receive.
- 7:33And we risk we expect to be nurtured.
- 7:36And those expectations drive a lot of the clashes.
- 7:41So tell me, because from a from a psychotherapist point of view, you know, you
- 7:46hear the term triggers all the time.
- 7:48Right?
- 7:49And I know how we address it in the field.
- 7:51So I'm curious, you know, you know, in in psychotherapy or psychology.
- 7:57We teach people to identify it.
- 7:59We teach them how to kind of understand what they say to themselves and how their behavior
- 8:04gets impacted.
- 8:05So Tell me how the dalian method is different or, bigger of of a bigger scope in reference to
- 8:13some of the things that I'm I'm talking about here.
- 8:16So everything that you're describing is a great start point because you need to be aware of
- 8:22your interaction with another human being.
- 8:25So the first point is when we when you're talking about getting somebody to understand
- 8:31that that a trigger arose, that's a start point.
- 8:34Mhmm.
- 8:34An argument or set of tears or a difference of opinion, there's there's a clash of some sort
- 8:41that's arisen.
- 8:42So with the diet method, what it does is it avoids using the mind at all.
- 8:49So in psychotherapy, obviously, we're engaging the mind to assist us in understanding how we
- 8:54got triggered.
- 8:55But with the Diane method, it says, okay.
- 8:58Let's not start there because a lot of what the ego mind is is made up of is a whole history of
- 9:08circumstances and experiences that it's got bottled up that have led to a load of
- 9:13conclusions.
- 9:15And those conclusions are driving our, subjectivity, our objectivity, our judgment,
- 9:22our perception, our expectation I need, like, it drives all of that.
- 9:26So what the dying method says is let's not start there because the problem actually is in
- 9:33the mind itself because it's the one that has the judgment and it's the one that has a
- 9:38certain bias.
- 9:39But more understand where that bias came from in the cells of your body, And it's not just
- 9:49curious about where did it come from.
- 9:51So there we've, therefore, we've got a rational explanation for why the trigger arose.
- 9:56It goes one step under and says, okay.
- 9:59So we now know where it came from, but underneath that, why did you have to why did
- 10:06you have to have had that experience or that conclusion in your particular life?
- 10:12And what was the ultimate lesson behind that conclusion or trigger that you're being shown?
- 10:20And then once you get into the ultimate lesson, consciousness sets you free through self
- 10:27awareness, because the lesson is the unique message that helps you to understand yourself.
- 10:35And if bottom line, if we knew who we are, If we ultimately knew who we are inside, we would
- 10:44not get triggered by any other human being.
- 10:47Because we would actually know that we're full of certain qualities that can never be taken
- 10:53away from us.
- 10:55So all the trick is around.
- 10:56That's interesting.
- 10:57That's very, very unique, unique perspective because, again, you know, me with the hat that
- 11:02I you know, have have have worn, and having tried this, of course, I'm not conscious what I
- 11:08went through other than I know it really helped me.
- 11:11Yeah.
- 11:12But what we often say in in in our field is that you'll get triggered till the day you die.
- 11:18That's something that you hear psychotherapists and psychologists see all the time.
- 11:22But you're actually saying the opposite.
- 11:24You're saying if I come into who I really am, then I will be triggerless.
- 11:30That is right.
- 11:31You get to you get to a point where you take responsibility for everything that belongs to
- 11:36you.
- 11:38And the truth is, I mean, I've been working with the dial in method since 2008.
- 11:42So, you know, close to, in fact, yeah, just over 9 years now.
- 11:48And the truth is that the concepts and the topics and the things that triggered me 9 years
- 11:55ago, don't even touch me now.
- 11:59And inside inside in my belly area is this sort of very spacious piece that progressively has
- 12:06just got bigger and bigger and bigger and bigger.
- 12:09Now when a new trigger arises, immediately, I know that inside that trigger is another lesson
- 12:17that I need to learn.
- 12:19And I'm willing to go and delve and look for it, because the process is so mathematically
- 12:26mathematical it will always give you the it will always give you the awareness to
- 12:30understand what your particular lesson is.
- 12:33But if I'm in a peaceful state, and the world is running around me outside of me, and I'm
- 12:39just watching it as an observer and nothing's touching me.
- 12:42I'm in my center.
- 12:44I'm in my core.
- 12:45I have a closer attachment to who I am, and and all of life is just progressing in that way.
- 12:52So in a way, you become a watcher.
- 12:55You become a very, very acute witness, sir
- 12:58Yes.
- 12:58Of all the events around you.
- 13:01And those that cause you to flare up or be judgmental or to be triggered are the clues to
- 13:09the fact that there's a part of you that you haven't yet seen.
- 13:13Wow.
- 13:14So when you say that, okay, I guess the maybe the viewers will want I know the question I
- 13:20have is so, like, how many sessions does it take?
- 13:25Is that a fair question?
- 13:27Long is it?
- 13:28Those types of things because I I, you know, I'm not sure, you know, if it's a long term
- 13:33thing or if it's Is it by, issue?
- 13:37Those types of things.
- 13:37If you can hear
- 13:38that.
- 13:39Okay.
- 13:39So so the question about how long is it and how many sessions Again, varies.
- 13:44Right?
- 13:45So there's a version for adults, and then there's a version for young adults, one for
- 13:49teenagers, and one for children.
- 13:51Okay.
- 13:51As you go through the entire family spectrum, as you get into a younger and younger age
- 13:57group, the method length gets shorter and shorter and shorter even though mathematically
- 14:03it's still doing the same thing.
- 14:06So the the good news with that is that even though as parents, we worry about some of our
- 14:11own personality traits, and that we may have passed them on genetically to our children,
- 14:17they can be helped from as young as five years old uplifts.
- 14:22The second part of your question is the method is being created in a way where it is very
- 14:29simple to self use.
- 14:33So so the idea is that over time, our need to find a therapist outside of us will fall away
- 14:42because we will know exactly how to assist ourselves and tap back and claim back our own
- 14:48power.
- 14:49So that's the second point.
- 14:51And then the third point is how many sessions?
- 14:55So What I found is that we've had a variety of types of clients.
- 15:00I'm a facilitator of this method.
- 15:01I got trained back in 2015 with adults first and with teenagers and then with children.
- 15:08And what I find is it depends on what age group we're looking at.
- 15:13Some of my older clients, maybe those that are, like, in their fifties or late sixties or sort
- 15:18of in that age group, so blown away by the potency of the dalian method and how quickly it
- 15:24eradicates old history and just re energizes you into a new state that a lot of those
- 15:31clients didn't want to let go of the facilitation part because that it was like,
- 15:37Hang on a minute.
- 15:38I've just done more work in one session that took us an hour a half to do, but it takes an
- 15:43hour a half for the session.
- 15:44And about an hour to educate you as to how to use it.
- 15:48So I did more work in 2 a half hours than I have in the last decade, So those people go,
- 15:53okay, I'm going deeper and deeper and deeper, which is exactly how I was.
- 15:57So I was around forty two ish years old when I first came across the dalian method, and I
- 16:04worked directly with Madadalian.
- 16:07And even though I didn't understand after my first session, what had actually happened, I
- 16:13knew innately inside me that I felt completely different.
- 16:17And then when I went back again later on in 2009, and I think my second session was around,
- 16:248 months later, I got a better understanding of what consciousness was doing and how I was
- 16:30being set free from my own monkey mind.
- 16:34And the power of it, Roxanne, was so big that I made a commitment to myself that anything that
- 16:40now happens in my life that causes me some sort of heartache or upset or judgment or or
- 16:45trigger, might would be a fool to keep those qualities when now I have a liberating process
- 16:53that can set me free.
- 16:54And so a combination of 2 things began to happen.
- 16:58One was that I would either work directly with Mada and experience the Dalen method with her,
- 17:05or once the the the self healing version of it got created, which was in 2014, it was formally
- 17:13introduced to the world.
- 17:14And from then onwards, I knew that I had a self sufficient way to help myself too.
- 17:19And this is what applies to everybody, that's listening to this.
- 17:23Is that initially, clearly, you want to be taught how.
- 17:27And if you would like to be shown how to ride the bike somebody sort of holds your hand
- 17:32through that process makes it a lot easier.
- 17:35And people like myself are there to facilitate that for you.
- 17:39But over time, you get liberated to know how to do this work on your own and maintain it And
- 17:46the speed at which you go is your own pace.
- 17:49The regularity with which you actually experienced the session is also at your own
- 17:54pace.
- 17:55It can be 6 months apart or 8 months apart, or it can be shorter periods of like 6 weeks
- 18:00apart.
- 18:01But but for each person, it becomes a different land.
- 18:06Interesting.
- 18:07So, really, you know, I can kinda think of people that have been trying to create change.
- 18:13And I we know what we know about talk therapy with neuroscience is that there's so much more
- 18:19need to include the body.
- 18:20Right?
- 18:20So cognitively, you know, we can talk about thoughts and and feelings, but what was
- 18:26glaringly missing in the field was the use of, you know, the body, and there's been a lot of
- 18:32therapies that have come about since some, you know, the different methods like EMDR or
- 18:37sensory motor.
- 18:38So this sounds like this is even a deeper when you talk consciousness, I guess, you know, if
- 18:43you can explain or give an example of that, I I I think that's the question I have in my mind.
- 18:49How do you know that you're a deeper consciousness?
- 18:52Okay.
- 18:53So first of all, yes, there's loads of great modalities.
- 18:56And, it might sound biased and a little bit arrogant for me to say this, but I'm saying it
- 19:03from a place of knowing rather than a place of sort of being egotistical about it, but the
- 19:08dalian method is almost like that cherry on the top.
- 19:11It's like that 1200 carat diamond.
- 19:13And there's only there's there's only one that's been discovered in the last 100 a year
- 19:18100 years.
- 19:19And that diamond was actually found by a Vancouver based mining company, So I find it
- 19:24really funny in some ways that Madder is based in Vancouver, and she's created a method that
- 19:31has the same level of purity as a rare diamond like that.
- 19:36So what and why the method is so extremely potent is because it's very bonded.
- 19:44Like, all these lot of modalities will have an aspect about, like, bringing the body in or
- 19:49releasing an emotion.
- 19:51Or it may have an aspect to do with, like, finding the original imprint.
- 19:55So there's an element of release that's arising or some modalities like, EFT, they're even
- 20:03attempting to help grow your awareness and you're tapping in new ways of living.
- 20:11What what the dying method does is it says We already know that you are peer.
- 20:19We already know that you're totally abundant.
- 20:22We already know that you're full of love.
- 20:26We already know that you are consciousness, which is all of these qualities, And and
- 20:34because there's a knowing that ultimately, all that needs to happen is anything unconscious in
- 20:42you is waiting to be transformed into consciousness and thus light that constitutes
- 20:51any of those facets, which an consciousness is all knowing or powerful, And at the same time,
- 20:58it's capable of limitless creative ideas, and it's silent.
- 21:06So so when it so the dying method works with that premise that it knows every human being is
- 21:13that And so there is nothing to be added to you to help you to awaken to your own
- 21:22consciousness, all that needs to happen is anything that's unconscious in you that you're
- 21:28blind to that acts as a blind spot that that acts as an area where you're not aware that
- 21:34it's still running inside you like an acts like like a virus program.
- 21:39All that needs to happen is that needs to be transformed back to its nature of light.
- 21:44So, really, what you're coming from.
- 21:48This is a from a place of fullness.
- 21:51Absolutely.
- 21:52So it's almost like, you know, you're saying to the, you know, I often say with when we, you
- 21:57know, see people, we see children, they are, you know, perfect in their entirety coming into
- 22:01the world, but it's almost like we've we rub away the shyness, and then they they kind of
- 22:06get kind of, blunted or or dull by life.
- 22:11So that's basically what you're saying is, like, we are whole, we are conscious, we are
- 22:15abundant, we are full.
- 22:17But we don't know that.
- 22:19Yeah.
- 22:19We don't know.
- 22:20Like that.
- 22:21They think that something's wrong with me.
- 22:22If there's been violence or if there's been abuse of any sort, they think that something's
- 22:27wrong with them.
- 22:28Yes.
- 22:29And all of us can't cannot ever hear these concepts and say, I get it because that's not
- 22:36annoying.
- 22:38And knowing is an experience of that.
- 22:41So, like, for example, if I was to say to you, I I know that I can dive into the deep end of a
- 22:51swimming pool.
- 22:52Mhmm.
- 22:52Now that knowing comes from a previous experience where I've dived into the deep end
- 22:59of a swimming pool.
- 23:00Mhmm.
- 23:00And I know that I'm not gonna drown, and I know that I can swim, and I know that I can cope,
- 23:04and I can tread water.
- 23:05So it's a knowing that comes from an experience.
- 23:09Mhmm.
- 23:10Mhmm.
- 23:11The same is with the dalian method.
- 23:14So as you grow in consciousness of all of these facets of yourself, you get to experience that
- 23:23knowing of you inside you.
- 23:26It is a theory that somebody is describing to you and saying that you are love, it is a
- 23:33physical knowing of this well of love inside you that is just abundantly sharing, and
- 23:40there's no end to it, you get to experience these qualities.
- 23:45So I know you've shared before in other conversations with me, yeah, a bit about Mara
- 23:51and kinda like she's, you know, she can x-ray people or get a sense.
- 23:57Right?
- 23:57So I think I found that very fascinating.
- 23:59So if you if you wouldn't mind sharing a little bit about kind of the process that she went
- 24:04through and, bit about how it got developed because I think that to me was very
- 24:08fascinating.
- 24:09I'm gonna assume that the it would be the same for the listeners.
- 24:12Yes.
- 24:13Because, I mean, I can't be talking about this quality of purity.
- 24:17Mhmm.
- 24:17And this quality of potency unless this method has come from somebody that's reached the peak
- 24:24of where we can reach as human beings.
- 24:27So matter came from Armenia, And, she I think originally was sort of around the Montreal
- 24:34area.
- 24:34I'm not quite sure, but I think it was around the Montreal area that she first arrived in
- 24:37Canada.
- 24:39And she dropped her education because she had been trained as a teacher and had done her.
- 24:44I think she had done a degree in architecture and as a teacher.
- 24:48But very quickly, fell into the hands at around age twenty four, of a woman who acted like a
- 24:54bit of a mentor, that gave her a book from a mystic in India called Osha.
- 25:02Okay.
- 25:03And
- 25:03it was a book about, socialism.
- 25:07And this book basically, like, blew her mind because the contents of it had so much truth in
- 25:15it about the country that she had just left.
- 25:18And so that intrigued her to understand more about this mystic And at the age of twenty
- 25:23four, she became very, very devoted to meditating to to the, to the path of self
- 25:31discovery.
- 25:33And at the very young age, when she was about five years old, she had watched her grandfather
- 25:38die, And somehow cognitively, she understood that he if he's just died and life is
- 25:45continuing on without him today, That means I'm going to die, and life is going to continue on
- 25:51without me too.
- 25:53So at the age of five, she immediately came to that awareness that said, so if I'm gonna die
- 25:59and I'm only here for a short while, then what am I doing here?
- 26:02Who am I?
- 26:03And why am I here?
- 26:05At 5 at 5.
- 26:07Wow.
- 26:07But he asked those questions at that age.
- 26:11Who am I?
- 26:12And that is the ultimate question for all of us to ask, who am I?
- 26:17And so so her energy was already channeled into wanting to know more about herself and to
- 26:24wanting to discover who she really was.
- 26:26And so she fell into the hands of this amazing, amazing miss it.
- 26:30And from work that he had created, he'd created some very, very practical tools, active
- 26:37meditations, help you to get the experience of knowing who you are.
- 26:44And so at the age of thirty three, she became in light and had the same awakening experience
- 26:51that the Buddha had when he was on the planet.
- 26:56So at that point now, she knows who she is.
- 27:00So her quest has been, her her, like, dying question has been solved.
- 27:07But but, of course, she's only thirty three years old.
- 27:10Well, so she's quite young at this point still.
- 27:13That's right.
- 27:13And so after that, it became okay.
- 27:16So now I know who I am.
- 27:18So I still am in this world.
- 27:21So what am I gonna do next?
- 27:22It's like, okay, hands up.
- 27:23What am I doing next?
- 27:25And this is where she was reunited with her childhood gift.
- 27:30And her childhood gift is, like, you know, how the 2 of us are having a conversation right
- 27:34now?
- 27:35Mhmm.
- 27:35Even as the listeners are listening to me, They're hearing my words, but there'll be
- 27:40another conversation happening inside about what they're hearing.
- 27:44Right.
- 27:44Right.
- 27:45So from a child, a matter could always hear the inside combination.
- 27:51Of what you're not saying.
- 27:52Of what you're not saying.
- 27:53Like, look, I'm just making this up.
- 27:55So, like, you could have an aunt that comes to visit.
- 27:57And on the surface, she's saying, you know, hi.
- 27:59Hi, sweetheart.
- 28:00Really happy to see you.
- 28:02But inside, she's saying I'm really tired.
- 28:04I'm really exhausted with that in my way.
- 28:05Right?
- 28:06So the matter could hear the insincerity of the outside conversation.
- 28:12Hear the truth of the inside conversation.
- 28:15Wow.
- 28:16And so when she became enlightened, she was reunited with that gift, which is a bit bizarre
- 28:22to be able to hear this other stuff going on-site and and the insincerity of all of that.
- 28:28So she wanted to understand what are these thoughts people are having, and why are they
- 28:33even there, and how can we turn these thoughts into conscious light.
- 28:40And that's how she began to experiment with what she was hearing and soon she was able to
- 28:46see as well inside people.
- 28:48And the combination of being able to hear and see inside people, and then it became that she
- 28:52was very empathic.
- 28:53And so she could the all was what was happening inside us too.
- 28:57So the combination of all those 3 things helped her to create this mathematical formula of
- 29:03releasing the debris that's inside that's forming that conversation inside and getting to
- 29:10the point where it gets turned into conscious light.
- 29:13And unity begins to unfold?
- 29:16I mean, like I said, it sounds it sounds fascinating.
- 29:19So I'm just curious.
- 29:22Can you kind of give us a a sense of the some of the steps?
- 29:26Like, let's say, someone comes in, what should they expect?
- 29:30I'm gonna assume that you know, I know prior to me meeting you, I had no idea about any of
- 29:37this.
- 29:37Yeah.
- 29:38And that so for the average person that probably has seen a coach has seen a
- 29:43psychotherapist, has seen a psychologist, kinda like, what's how does this kinda compare or, I
- 29:49mean, not that we're trying to compare and contrast, but just what what is the what should
- 29:53the, expect of the experience if they were to come in or or have a an an online session with
- 29:59you.
- 30:00Okay.
- 30:01So, first of all, there's a a short amount of time spent understanding the person's story.
- 30:09Okay.
- 30:09That's the cognitive conversation.
- 30:11The one that they might have with a psychotherapist or somebody has to.
- 30:15So a very short amount of the appointment allotted to that And there's a prescript
- 30:21formula that gets sent out to the prospective client on how to prepare for that and what,
- 30:25what to care to keep the focus on the right matters.
- 30:28And so once that conversation has been had, now what is more important is to understand why
- 30:35that life circumstance is taking place.
- 30:38And what it is that person needs to see or learn about themselves to set themselves free
- 30:44from that life circumstance.
- 30:47So so the end result of the session is always a growth in awareness.
- 30:54So they discover something about themselves.
- 30:57It is accompanied with deep relaxation that stays with them.
- 31:03And the growth in awareness will bring in a new understanding as to how to interact in the
- 31:12world.
- 31:14And that new understanding becomes automatic.
- 31:18So it may not be a conscious change, but it may just be something that you're finding from that
- 31:23inner peace you're interacting in a different way with the world.
- 31:27Yes.
- 31:27Because the consciousness has already come in during the session.
- 31:31So what will happen is that your behavior will match your new awareness.
- 31:37And for a short while, it'll feel like, wow, I'm doing this, but I wasn't doing this before.
- 31:41And for a while, you'll keep noticing it.
- 31:44And then as the weeks progress, it just gets integrated as your new way of living.
- 31:50And so and then this new way of living is just who you are.
- 31:53I'll give you an example.
- 31:56I'll use one from my daughter, and then I'll use one from a client.
- 32:00So my youngest daughter, at the time was only nine years old and was afraid to read out
- 32:11aloud.
- 32:12In a classroom.
- 32:14And so she had visited Mada and had had a child session with Mada.
- 32:21And the fear of reading out aloud was removed.
- 32:26So people often say, you know, feel the fear and do it anyway.
- 32:30Mhmm.
- 32:30But sometimes the fear is so intense that your ability to act on the do it anyway is not gonna
- 32:37arise.
- 32:38You're paralyzed in that fear.
- 32:42So her ability to speak up in a classroom was fairly non existent, And after this session,
- 32:49what happened was, I think the session was only an hour long for a child.
- 32:56Then Mara gave her a book and asked her asked her to read and help her out.
- 33:03At the end of the session.
- 33:05Yeah.
- 33:06Amazing.
- 33:07And Safran still remembers that moment where the book was handed to her and suddenly her
- 33:14ability to string the sentences together in a fluid way were just there.
- 33:20So this is the behavioral change.
- 33:22It arose instantly.
- 33:25Once the awareness had come in and she had broken the cycle of the trap that she was in
- 33:31where she was afraid to speak out aloud.
- 33:33So a small example, but it helps you to understand how the behavior shifts instantly.
- 33:39Which is refreshing, right, because I think of, you know, some people with, you know, complex
- 33:45trauma, you know, like violence and and, you know, sexual abuse and those types of things.
- 33:50I mean, those clients live with so much pain.
- 33:54Right?
- 33:55So it's just the the thought that that could be, cleared in a short period of time.
- 34:01I think is is is re it just I mean, it it lights my heart up to be even perceive that as
- 34:06being a possibility, Kindy.
- 34:07That's right.
- 34:08And so many people talk about miraculous results.
- 34:12And the truth is most that experienced the dalian method use that phrase.
- 34:17This was miraculous.
- 34:18The outcome of this was nothing short of miraculous.
- 34:21It becomes very typical phrase.
- 34:23And I know that more and more people that get to use this method, the days will go when we're
- 34:28even seeping that certain transformation is miraculous because they'll see it just unfold
- 34:34under their nose.
- 34:36Well, I I mean, it's and just hearing that, I I could just imagine for anybody that has those
- 34:41things that they've, you know, kind of cycled through and gone back over and over again, you
- 34:46know, it that would be something that I I'm thinking, wow, to be able to shift something
- 34:53that can be that entrenched in someone I think would be a would be a truly a gift.
- 34:58That brings me to the example that, I wasn't sure which client example I was going to use,
- 35:03but it seems like it's the appropriate one.
- 35:05So I had a client that had been seeing a therapist for 2 years, had been getting some
- 35:12counseling help, And the issue was that she had been abused as a child.
- 35:17And, and the abuse that happened from family members as often it is the case.
- 35:24And at the end of our session together, she understood why the abuse had happened, She
- 35:31understood the lesson, but it was designed to teach her, and she also felt forgiveness
- 35:38towards the perpetrators.
- 35:40Because she felt that expanded and lied.
- 35:43And at the end of that meeting, she said to me, and she looked random at me, and she said, I
- 35:48don't need a counselor anymore.
- 35:49Do I?
- 35:51Well, you know, on average, it takes it takes years years.
- 35:55She's been somebody for 2 years.
- 35:57Yes.
- 35:57Absolutely.
- 35:58And this
- 35:58was her first session with the Dalian method.
- 36:02And there's a point where you go into the back of your head and the past life trauma and
- 36:08history, around the experience resurfaces.
- 36:13And then when we move further on into the method, it takes you into your 3rd eye, which
- 36:17will then wait awaken you to your knowing and your lesson behind the experience, it was so
- 36:23profound for me to watch the learning that she had as a result of that, that some and it's
- 36:32gonna sound bizarre that a degree of, not only relaxation, but almost a sense of gratitude for
- 36:43the fact that the experience even arose in the first place because the liberation was so
- 36:49massive, that without that pain and hurt, that liberation wasn't going to arise for her.
- 36:56And this is what I mean by unity.
- 36:58Nobody stays in a victim state.
- 37:00Nobody stays in a place where they're experiencing blame or or anger or upset towards
- 37:07another human being, do you understand your life experiences from a new dimension?
- 37:13And your judgments towards others and perpetrators and all that type of stuff
- 37:18systematically fall away.
- 37:20Now this particular client had so much happening one session, her very first session.
- 37:25And I remember her writing back saying that was life changing.
- 37:29Well, I mean, I'm, I mean, I'm listening to this because you and I have never chatted about
- 37:32this in the past.
- 37:35You know, and I know how traumatic put in context just to abuse outside of yourself,
- 37:40especially when you're younger, it's it's want some of the most difficult, things that I've
- 37:45seen, unfortunately, as a psychotherapist, and it oftentimes, you know, the perception is the
- 37:51person believes I am depressed.
- 37:53I am suicidal.
- 37:55That becomes their identity, you know, versus recognizing that it's a symptom.
- 38:00Right?
- 38:00I I cut or I do this or that because they they embody the symptoms, and then they forget
- 38:06really that that's not who they are.
- 38:09That's the symptoms that came about from the trauma.
- 38:11So I think
- 38:12pain.
- 38:12From the pain is creating that, and it's the identification that the mind and the ego has to
- 38:20that pain that perpetuates the cycle of what happens in the darkness and the heaviness comes
- 38:26as a result of it.
- 38:28But as
- 38:28soon as a person is able to break the chain to the pain, and the identification to the story,
- 38:36and they step outside of it.
- 38:38When they stepped outside of it and they see what it was all about, then they're free.
- 38:44Well, powerful.
- 38:46Like, I mean, truly powerful if you're, you know, again, seeing it from the other end where
- 38:51it it takes sometimes very, very long, to have people make shifts.
- 38:56But if you're saying that there that's possible in in an hour a half, like, you know, amazing.
- 39:02So I'm in awe of this method.
- 39:05As you know, you you and I have had conversations just being, way together about
- 39:09it, and I've shared my experience So if if you were to leave a couple of words, with with
- 39:16viewers about, what you do as a transformational coach and this method, what
- 39:21what, what couple of woods would you leave with them about this experience and why it's worth
- 39:26it, to, to be able to experience this?
- 39:31Well, 1st of all, I I I am a mother of 3 children, and the effects of this method on my
- 39:39own psyche and my own life, was that dramatic that the only thing I wanted to do was to share
- 39:45it with my 3 kids.
- 39:47Because I did not want them stuck in any cycle of self sabotage.
- 39:52Mhmm.
- 39:53And the inability to trust their own instinct and to do what's best for them and to love
- 39:57themselves in the way that they rightfully should.
- 40:00I didn't want any of those traces left as a result of how I'd raised them.
- 40:08So what I really want to share is as human beings, we deserve for the very best of our
- 40:17life to unfold.
- 40:20And many of us get caught up in the pain and the experiences we've we've been party to
- 40:28without the understanding that the pain is only a small step towards its ultimate purpose.
- 40:36And that small step being, but that moment in time has arisen for you to dig deep to find the
- 40:44silver lining.
- 40:45Mhmm.
- 40:46And if you look for the silver lining, the only person that gets set free is you.
- 40:53So you have absolutely everything to gain and nothing to lose by attempting to go through a
- 41:02process like this.
- 41:04And the exciting thing is that if there is any part of you that is nervous, just be mindful
- 41:12and understand that it is fair that is driving you to be nervous.
- 41:18Because somewhere, there's become a comfort in knowing sort of how to be unhappy and miserable
- 41:24and stay in that zone, but sometimes our biggest threat is stepping out of it into a
- 41:30life that has a lot more light in it.
- 41:32A lot more use in it.
- 41:34Sometimes the energy that it takes to be unhappy, the thought of not using that energy,
- 41:39where would it go?
- 41:40Sometimes that's that's a bit scary.
- 41:42Kinda staying with what you know versus opening a door to some, definite possibility or or
- 41:47enlightenment is is sometimes tough.
- 41:49So in reality, isn't it?
- 41:51That's why
- 41:51it is.
- 41:52Is.
- 41:53It is.
- 41:53So I would love for the viewers to, know how to get a hold of you.
- 41:57I, you know, I, I think you're still accepting people to come and see you.
- 42:02And, you know, so let let us know where we can get ahold of you.
- 42:06And, if they have questions, you know, I would love for them to reach out because I think I'm
- 42:12sure we're gonna have a lot of questions about this.
- 42:14So let us know where where people can get a hold of you.
- 42:18Okay.
- 42:18So in terms of reaching me, I have a website.
- 42:22And on that website, I have a phone number on there so people can make phone calls and talk
- 42:26to me.
- 42:27I offer at least a 30 minute consultation, often it runs up to about 45 minutes
- 42:32complimentary to talk through somebody's issue so that they can quickly see how they can help
- 42:39themselves and and how something could be facilitated to move them along on their
- 42:43journey.
- 42:45Also, on the website, which is www, and it's in my name, Hindi Gil.com.
- 42:51So that's kindi.
- 42:55Gill.com.
- 42:57On that site, I have a small download too, which helps people to see at a cognitive level,
- 43:04the 5 key concepts that need to be managed and addressed in order to have more of a happy and
- 43:12loving and fulfilling and peaceful life.
- 43:14And so that's available as a free download too.
- 43:17Awesome.
- 43:17Well, Kinney, thanks so much.
- 43:19I've learned so much more.
- 43:21I felt like I had had enough conversation, but, obviously, there's a lot more for me to to
- 43:25learn about above this method.
- 43:27And, obviously, it's bringing lighting the world, which is what a what a nice place to be,
- 43:32to be able to the honor to be able to, give this to the world.
- 43:36Thanks so much for being on, with, authentic living with Roxanne.
- 43:41I hope that maybe in the future, maybe you can come back.
