  [SPEAKER_00]: If you've been paying attention, you know, I'm not like super high on the Jags offensive line, just from a talent perspective, but we'll get into it.

  [SPEAKER_00]: You probably do like to see the Texans coming in at thirty two, which is no surprise if you've been watching me.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I've been talking about how confusing the Texans plan was at offensive line after having one of the worst offensive lines in the league of the year ago.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I don't know if those were positive changes to be quite honest.

  [SPEAKER_00]: You have the Bengals at thirty one, which is a little bit surprising to me.

  [SPEAKER_00]: See, Hawks at thirty, Patriots at twenty nine, Giants at twenty eight, Browns at twenty seven, and the Jaguars come in here at twenty six overall.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And this isn't like just into your offensive line or the tackles.

  [SPEAKER_00]: This is what PFF has to say.

  [SPEAKER_00]: The best possible outcome for the Jaguars offensive line in twenty twenty five is probably going to be average.

  [SPEAKER_00]: None of their five projected starters finished among the thirty highest graded players at their positions in twenty twenty four former first round pick ants on Harrison made some slight improvements in twenty twenty four leading to a sixty four point two overall uh... pff grade which ranked fifty of them on all offensive tackles but the jackores will need more from their right tackle in twenty twenty five yeah so it's tough to nitpick this really a whole lot of my mind i do believe

  [SPEAKER_00]: The Jaguar's tackles are probably somewhere in the ten to fifteen range in the NFL, probably closer to fifteen.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And that's just from a talent perspective, not what they've proven, not where they are at in terms of their development, all that stuff.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I just think when you look at ants on here, it's in a former first round pick, who has all the talent in the world to be a top ten, past protecting tackle in the league, whether it be left or right tackle.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And then Walker Little, who's also a very skilled, physically gifted player.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I think that you have a couple guys there that can really get the job done.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Now the issue with Anton Harrison right now is he's not even technically a starter.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, you look at the competition they have going on on the right side at right tackle with Tuma doga.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I think it's a little bit farsical, but I don't want to blast the Jaguar's coaching staff without knowing exactly what their plan is, but they want Anton Harrison to bring it more consistently.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And if you can do that, I think that

  [SPEAKER_00]: He can be a really good tackle in this league.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So I think that there's upside for the jack wars to have an above average offensive tackle group, just from a talent perspective alone.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Now on the interior, I do think that probably the best outcome is average in terms of the talent level.

  [SPEAKER_00]: with Patrick McCary coming into play right guard and Robert Hainesy coming into play center at left guard.

  [SPEAKER_00]: You're either going to have Ezra Cleveland or why I'm Island the rookie out of West Virginia.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Again, I don't think that's a bad group.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I don't think it's a very good group either.

  [SPEAKER_00]: change that narrative, you know, as a young player coming in, had played tackle was basically, you know, unblemished in past protection at tackle from a sack standpoint over the last three years, which is just unbelievable.

  [SPEAKER_00]: But comes in, he's going to have to play guard.

  [SPEAKER_00]: It's a strong player, he's a smart player, compete with Ezra Cleveland to get in that lineup.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Robert Hainesy, explosive, linearly has experience with Liam Cohen, but

  [SPEAKER_00]: And then Patrick McCarrie, he's been kind of that ultra versatile guy who's played every spot on the offensive line for the Ravens.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Now he's going to be entering this season for the first time as like a full-time starter in his career.

  [SPEAKER_00]: It looks like at right guard.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I don't think that that's a great group.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And I've been on record.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I think the Jack Wars probably should have done a little more

  [SPEAKER_00]: Not letting that necessarily like numbers.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Why is like they added a lot of offensive linemen this year, right?

  [SPEAKER_00]: They added Adoga Fred Johnson, Patrick McCarrie, Robert Hainesy, why am I alone?

  [SPEAKER_00]: Jonah Monon, they added a ton of guys.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I think they could have maybe taken a higher in swing.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Maybe that's still a plan for the future.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I'm not exactly sure, but

  [SPEAKER_00]: I do think that the upside is potentially limited on the interior.

  [SPEAKER_00]: What I will say, however, all of this has been, all of this talk has been based on like talent, where they're at right now.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I think, in Liam Cohen's offense,

  [SPEAKER_00]: with better coaching than you've seen in Jacksonville in a while on the offensive side of the ball and on the offensive line and just better play calling better scheming everything being more coherent.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I think it's possible that they outplay their talent level.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I think what is an average group based on talent could outperform that because of everything around them.

  [SPEAKER_00]: because of the fact that they are all very gritty.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And I think that's one thing they're looking more for man's on Harrison.

  [SPEAKER_00]: But you look at that interior group.

  [SPEAKER_00]: They are physical.

  [SPEAKER_00]: They are played through the whistle type of guys, even though they might not be the most talented.

  [SPEAKER_00]: They are the type of guys that have the attitude you're looking for on the offensive line.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I think Walker Little was really good pushing people off the ball last year too.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I think that they have hand selected these guys with the athleticism in mind, with the grittiness in mind to be able to not only execute on outside zone, execute as pullers, but also execute as just hey, we're running it right at you and we need to move you off the ball a little bit, we're going to be able to do that.

  [SPEAKER_00]: McCary's played everywhere.

  [SPEAKER_00]: While I'm playing tackle guard, a dog has played tackle guard, Fred Johnson's played tackle guard.

  [SPEAKER_00]: You know, Jonah Monheim, who they selected at center in the seventh round, I mean, he played tackle most of his collegiate career, but I don't think he's going to be doing that in the NFL.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I think for them to be anything more than average, it will be based on

  [SPEAKER_00]: a couple of actors.

  [SPEAKER_00]: If Anton Harrison takes a step, and Walker little plays the way he did at the end of last year, and Anton Harrison takes a step.

  [SPEAKER_00]: You could be talking about a very good tackle group.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And then I think, you know, why am I going to represent the most upside on the interior?

  [SPEAKER_00]: So those are your paths to having a more than average group just talent wise.

  [SPEAKER_00]: In terms of production and the way they're playing out there, I think Liam Cohen and this coaching staff elevating the guys that they have is possible.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And just via the coaching and the offensive play design and play calling,

  [SPEAKER_00]: Being able to best utilize the skill sets you do have on the offensive line, and then getting the ball into the playmaker's hands.

  [SPEAKER_00]: You have Brian Thomas Jr., and Travis Hunter, and Travis ETN, and Deal Me Brown, and Britain Strange, and Tank Biggsbee, and Basiel Tutan, and Lee Quinn Allen.

  [SPEAKER_00]: You have all these guys for a reason.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Get the ball in their hands quickly and let them do work.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And play tough.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I think if they're able to do that, the offensive line could

  [SPEAKER_00]: come out graded as an extremely positive group.

  [SPEAKER_00]: But that's on the coaching.

  [SPEAKER_00]: It's on the players too.

  [SPEAKER_00]: They've got to execute.

  [SPEAKER_00]: But I think the coaching can elevate potentially what to me is on paper a pretty average group.
