- 0:02Speaker 1: Two Teas in a Pod with Teddy Mellencamp and Camra Judge.
- 0:15Speaker 2: Hi, guys, welcome to another episode of Two Teas and
- 0:17Speaker 2: a Pod with myself, Teddy Mellencamp and Tambra Judge.
- 0:21Speaker 3: Today we have a special guest, one of my favorites
- 0:25Speaker 3: now Potomac Potomac Mecca Ehan.
- 0:30Speaker 4: Welcome, Welcome.
- 0:33Speaker 2: Before we even get started, you guys, if you are
- 0:36Speaker 2: looking to start dating, you have to go to Hello Africa.
- 0:41Speaker 2: Tell us a little bit about this.
- 0:43Speaker 4: Well, Hello Africa is focused on community, and you know,
- 0:45Speaker 4: growing up in the Midwest, you know it's hard to
- 0:47Speaker 4: find other Africans and diasspa for like dating, for food,
- 0:51Speaker 4: for events. So I created a platform where other Africans
- 0:54Speaker 4: and diaspora can connect with each other. And also people
- 0:56Speaker 4: who like African culture, music events can also connect people
- 1:00Speaker 4: as well. So it's available in the Apple Store and
- 1:02Speaker 4: also in Google Play.
- 1:04Speaker 5: And you also have a sparkling wine.
- 1:07Speaker 4: Yes, it's coming out soon, so everyone should stand by.
- 1:10Speaker 4: It's called bedeaux and in my native language of Ebo,
- 1:13Speaker 4: that means to start or begin, and I named it
- 1:15Speaker 4: that because you know, people can change professions, they can
- 1:18Speaker 4: change ventures at any point in time, and I don't
- 1:20Speaker 4: think it's too late to start a new beginning.
- 1:22Speaker 3: New beginning. Speaking of new beginnings, is your first season
- 1:25Speaker 3: on Potomac.
- 1:27Speaker 4: Yes?
- 1:27Speaker 3: Overall, how do you feel it went?
- 1:31Speaker 4: It was madness. You know, I can be real with
- 1:33Speaker 4: you guys, because you guys know it was just absolute madness.
- 1:37Speaker 4: I had no clue what I was getting myself into
- 1:40Speaker 4: with all the fractures in the group and issues that
- 1:42Speaker 4: just predated me and just being thrown in there. It
- 1:45Speaker 4: was chaos. But I still have a really great relationship
- 1:48Speaker 4: with the ladies, and I was able to kind of
- 1:50Speaker 4: build these relationships in spite of the chaos.
- 1:52Speaker 3: Did you ever think that you and Wendy would not bond?
- 1:56Speaker 4: Not at all, not at all that way.
- 1:58Speaker 2: When you give us backstory, we need to take us
- 2:01Speaker 2: way back because to us, it seems like Ashley kind
- 2:05Speaker 2: of started it by saying things that you didn't actually say.
- 2:08Speaker 2: But give us back to like off camera stuff and
- 2:11Speaker 2: what led us to today.
- 2:12Speaker 4: Yeah. So, when I was still in the casting process,
- 2:15Speaker 4: Wendy's older sister Ivy contacted Lebe who's my cousin in law,
- 2:20Speaker 4: and had some issues about me joining the cast and
- 2:22Speaker 4: allegedly using her name, And there were two phone calls
- 2:26Speaker 4: that took place on April second and April fourth, and
- 2:28Speaker 4: I wasn't.
- 2:29Speaker 5: Receipts, timeline and all that matters.
- 2:33Speaker 4: When you're bringing up these things, you need facts. So
- 2:35Speaker 4: I had the receipts and timelines, and I wasn't made
- 2:39Speaker 4: aware of this, you know, in law hoped that they
- 2:41Speaker 4: were just angry and that like it would blow over.
- 2:44Speaker 4: And then on April seventh, which is good Friday, she
- 2:47Speaker 4: received a phone call from their mother and it was
- 2:50Speaker 4: not a pleasant phone call and she freaked out. So
- 2:52Speaker 4: that's when she notified me of what was going on.
- 2:55Speaker 4: And by the seventh I had already finished all the
- 2:57Speaker 4: cast dying and test shoots all that stuff, and on
- 3:00Speaker 4: was on my way past it.
- 3:02Speaker 3: So Wendy did not want you on the show.
- 3:05Speaker 4: She was her and her family were really upset that
- 3:07Speaker 4: I was reading the cast. Yes, they did not want me, but.
- 3:09Speaker 5: Why, Like, what is the reasoning behind this?
- 3:12Speaker 4: I am still trying to figure it out, so I
- 3:13Speaker 4: just stopped. I stopped. Yeah, it doesn't make sense.
- 3:18Speaker 5: Like that, That's what I'm trying to understand.
- 3:20Speaker 2: Like, had you guys ever had any kind of issues
- 3:24Speaker 2: before or is this solely because she wanted to hold
- 3:27Speaker 2: this one spot in Potomac.
- 3:29Speaker 3: It's not like, I mean, it's not like you like
- 3:31Speaker 3: slept with her man or something like. This is ridiculous.
- 3:33Speaker 3: I couldn't even imagine as many years I've been on
- 3:35Speaker 3: the show that I'd be like trying to stop somebody
- 3:38Speaker 3: from getting cast. But also that you don't know that
- 3:41Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 3:42Speaker 4: Yeah, and I met her a few times. I met
- 3:44Speaker 4: her at an event. It was a concert, but it's
- 3:46Speaker 4: like the VIP section of concerts, maybe ten to twenty
- 3:48Speaker 4: people max and I didn't just meet her. I was
- 3:51Speaker 4: introduced to her, so it was vetted. It was a
- 3:53Speaker 4: vetted communication, and I thought she was very nice and
- 3:56Speaker 4: she was friendly, and I walked off that conversation thinking
- 3:59Speaker 4: she was a nice person. And then I saw her
- 4:01Speaker 4: again at a birthday party. I was going to the restroom.
- 4:05Speaker 4: She and her husband were walking down the hallway and
- 4:07Speaker 4: I just didn't get good vibes, so I just kind
- 4:09Speaker 4: of went about my business and went to the restroom.
- 4:11Speaker 4: Next time I see her is Ashley's housewarming.
- 4:15Speaker 5: Okay, so that makes that makes sense.
- 4:16Speaker 2: And then also sometimes you know in the casting process,
- 4:21Speaker 2: I know for myself, Tama, Tama was so long ago.
- 4:26Speaker 4: Like I've.
- 4:28Speaker 3: Pulled me out from under the rock.
- 4:29Speaker 4: Yeah, I'd be like, we'll take her.
- 4:31Speaker 5: But for me, they did say like, do you know
- 4:33Speaker 5: what of the women have you met? Who do you know?
- 4:37Speaker 2: Is that what she meant by using her name? Like
- 4:39Speaker 2: did you say I've met Wendy or what? What did
- 4:42Speaker 2: you say that your relationship was with her?
- 4:45Speaker 4: Yeah? So I've always been really transparent and everything I've
- 4:47Speaker 4: said on camera. So when asked about the ladies in
- 4:51Speaker 4: the group, I said, I don't know her. I've met
- 4:52Speaker 4: her before and she's nice, but she's really good friends
- 4:55Speaker 4: with my in law. She's a family friend with my
- 4:57Speaker 4: in law. But I don't know her. But I personally
- 5:00Speaker 4: don't know her. And that's the truth. So that's all
- 5:02Speaker 4: I said. No one left the conversation thinking that I
- 5:05Speaker 4: knew her.
- 5:06Speaker 3: Hmm.
- 5:07Speaker 5: And now I'm trying to remember when you came on,
- 5:10Speaker 5: who are we? Who are we led to believe?
- 5:14Speaker 4: Or who are you.
- 5:14Speaker 5: Brought in the room?
- 5:16Speaker 3: Is it Ashley Darby?
- 5:18Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 5:19Speaker 2: All right, So was production wanting Wendy to be the
- 5:24Speaker 2: one to bring you into the group?
- 5:26Speaker 4: Do you think you know that would make sense and
- 5:29Speaker 4: some things. You know, the reunion will shed some light
- 5:33Speaker 4: on some things. But again, you guys know, at this point,
- 5:36Speaker 4: when I'm just passing and having conversations, I don't know
- 5:39Speaker 4: what's going on internally, so I don't know what conversations
- 5:42Speaker 4: took place surrounding that. But I think more light will
- 5:45Speaker 4: be shed at the reunion regarding that.
- 5:48Speaker 3: Since you did know Ashley prior, do you wish she
- 5:50Speaker 3: would have stood up for you a little bit more
- 5:52Speaker 3: of this season.
- 5:56Speaker 4: A little bit? And I feel like she did didn't
- 6:00Speaker 4: want to get in the middle of it, and that's
- 6:01Speaker 4: why I never told her to begin with, because I
- 6:04Speaker 4: didn't want to put her an uncomfortable situation. And when
- 6:06Speaker 4: I met Robin at Ashley's housewarming, Robin has a very
- 6:10Speaker 4: genuine and honest spirit, Like I knew.
- 6:12Speaker 3: See, y'all, I love her, Yes, She's very down.
- 6:16Speaker 4: To earth, yes, And so I instantly felt connected to Robin.
- 6:20Speaker 4: And then also when I first met them, she's over
- 6:22Speaker 4: here talking about all types of stuff going around with
- 6:25Speaker 4: wand and all this stuff. So she was very transparent,
- 6:27Speaker 4: so I knew I could talk to her and she
- 6:29Speaker 4: would give me feedback in terms of how to move
- 6:30Speaker 4: forward with what was going on, because at the housewarming,
- 6:33Speaker 4: I wasn't even sure if I was going to come
- 6:35Speaker 4: out with it. I was planning on just like moving
- 6:37Speaker 4: on and somehow ignoring it. But the level of uncomfortableness
- 6:41Speaker 4: that I felt there, and like the fake niceness, I
- 6:43Speaker 4: was like, Okay, I know I'm gonna have to say something.
- 6:46Speaker 5: Well, do you think Wendy, because this is what I get.
- 6:49Speaker 2: And Wendy's one of the only women that I haven't
- 6:51Speaker 2: actually met at Bravo Khan, Like maybe I've met her,
- 6:54Speaker 2: but I've never hung out with her, so I don't
- 6:56Speaker 2: have any basis other than what I'm watching on the show.
- 6:59Speaker 2: It almost seems she gives the air that she's better
- 7:01Speaker 2: than everybody else.
- 7:04Speaker 6: One thousand percent, And that's my issue, like we're all assholes,
- 7:08Speaker 6: we're all here for a reason, like we're all doing
- 7:11Speaker 6: what we got to do, but like, no, if you're
- 7:14Speaker 6: willing to do a.
- 7:15Speaker 5: Reality television show, you ain't better than anybody else.
- 7:17Speaker 3: Well that's why I was getting so angry. When you
- 7:19Speaker 3: would sit down with her and talk, I just felt
- 7:20Speaker 3: like she was looking down at you and she acted
- 7:24Speaker 3: like she was so much better than you.
- 7:27Speaker 4: You know, what I really went to that sit down
- 7:29Speaker 4: with a genuine heart and open heart to just have
- 7:32Speaker 4: an understanding and move forward, because I'm actually really over
- 7:35Speaker 4: all of it, and I really don't like how the
- 7:38Speaker 4: delivery came across that pickaball. And I've said that on
- 7:40Speaker 4: camera and I said that a million times. I do
- 7:42Speaker 4: wish that I would have been able to support to
- 7:45Speaker 4: the side as I intended. But that goes back to
- 7:48Speaker 4: Ashley right actually made up that thing about the article.
- 7:51Speaker 3: Well, Ashley was delivering some wrong information, some lying. Yeah,
- 7:56Speaker 3: I should be lying. I don't know how any anyone
- 8:01Speaker 3: at this point. I know how anybody can stay mad
- 8:05Speaker 3: at you, Meca, because your voice is so soothing. I
- 8:10Speaker 3: love hearing it. I always say that it's just so soothing.
- 8:13Speaker 3: I just want to hear her talk.
- 8:15Speaker 4: I was at the post office last week and so
- 8:17Speaker 4: I came up to me. He's like, I heard your voice.
- 8:19Speaker 4: Are you.
- 8:21Speaker 3: Totally I've had that happen to me in Target before,
- 8:24Speaker 3: and I'm like, I don't have that.
- 8:25Speaker 5: But mine is not a complimentary tone.
- 8:27Speaker 2: It's like, oh, so I know you don't have any
- 8:45Speaker 2: you can't give us any actual facts on this.
- 8:47Speaker 3: But she's still gonna ask you.
- 8:49Speaker 2: No, I'm just gonna say, what would your thoughts be
- 8:51Speaker 2: if if this was the truth that we heard a
- 8:54Speaker 2: rumor that Robin won't be returning. And Robin normally always
- 8:58Speaker 2: texts me back and let me check, but I'm pretty
- 9:01Speaker 2: sure I still haven't gotten a response.
- 9:03Speaker 4: Oh goodness. You know, I genuinely and sincerely love Robin.
- 9:07Speaker 4: She is a phenomenal person and she's a great friend.
- 9:10Speaker 4: You know, when I started this process, she called me
- 9:12Speaker 4: and was like, girl, let me give you the four
- 9:14Speaker 4: to one one on all this stuff. So she really
- 9:16Speaker 4: like educated me on how things work, and she was
- 9:19Speaker 4: just really a good person to me. And when we
- 9:20Speaker 4: started airing, she would text me every weekend are you okay?
- 9:23Speaker 4: Are you prepared? You know, she really just wanted to
- 9:25Speaker 4: make sure I had a smooth transition. I think she's
- 9:27Speaker 4: great TV. I think she's hilarious and she had a
- 9:30Speaker 4: really good season in my opinion, And also I think
- 9:32Speaker 4: she did exceptionally well at the reunion. So I don't
- 9:34Speaker 4: know what's sure or false, but I think she would
- 9:38Speaker 4: be wise to keep her She's great TV.
- 9:40Speaker 5: What do you think about Laan?
- 9:41Speaker 4: I like one a lot, and you know, I think
- 9:43Speaker 4: he's a gentleman, and I think he's also super friendly
- 9:46Speaker 4: because our first event as a couple, my husband and
- 9:48Speaker 4: I went to pickleball one obviously, so we're friendly when you.
- 9:51Speaker 5: Say one and your female is a little tricky.
- 9:53Speaker 4: Oh now I'm trying to tie in where it doesn't
- 9:55Speaker 4: relate to me. Okay. He saw my husband and I
- 9:59Speaker 4: come to pick a ball, our first couples event, and
- 10:01Speaker 4: he got out the car, went up to my husband,
- 10:04Speaker 4: welcomed him, gave him a hug and a handshake, and
- 10:06Speaker 4: really just welcomed him into the group. And that's a
- 10:08Speaker 4: really big of him.
- 10:10Speaker 2: Why we are talking about pick a ball? What really
- 10:14Speaker 2: happened with your husband and Eddie? Because that was confusing
- 10:17Speaker 2: to me too.
- 10:19Speaker 4: Yeah, that's all right, Okay, So this all goes back
- 10:22Speaker 4: to the phone calls that my cousin in law received
- 10:25Speaker 4: right April second, April fourth, and then from the mother
- 10:28Speaker 4: on April seventh.
- 10:30Speaker 2: So the dates honestly never loved anything more like I
- 10:33Speaker 2: could get off on this.
- 10:35Speaker 4: So between that time period, the day after the mother
- 10:40Speaker 4: called on the seventh, Eddie unfollowed my husband from Facebook
- 10:45Speaker 4: and they're familiar with each other because they went to
- 10:47Speaker 4: the University of Maryland College Park together. And not only
- 10:51Speaker 4: were they just in a big school together, they were
- 10:52Speaker 4: in like a private African students.
- 10:54Speaker 5: But how did he How long were then follow him?
- 10:56Speaker 3: And how long were they How long was he following him?
- 10:59Speaker 4: For years?
- 10:59Speaker 3: Like years?
- 11:00Speaker 4: Okay?
- 11:00Speaker 3: Facebook, It wasn't like, hey, I'm on the show, I'm
- 11:03Speaker 3: going to follow you. Then it's like, hey, I'm on
- 11:04Speaker 3: the show. I don't like you.
- 11:06Speaker 4: No, no, no mean following. I think it's really tricky, and
- 11:09Speaker 4: it's it's hilarious that we even know. It's because while
- 11:12Speaker 4: we were doing this whole casting and you know, production stuff,
- 11:15Speaker 4: my husband was like, oh, you know, we're gonna be
- 11:17Speaker 4: on the same show with Wendy and Eddie. You know
- 11:19Speaker 4: Eddie and I go back to back in the day
- 11:21Speaker 4: to College Park. And he made a joke about it. It
- 11:24Speaker 4: was like back when Facebook was Facebook, back when you
- 11:26Speaker 4: actually have a college like email address to get on.
- 11:29Speaker 4: And I was like, laughed about it, and he sent
- 11:31Speaker 4: me a screenshot and we were laughing. That's how I
- 11:34Speaker 4: knew at the.
- 11:35Speaker 5: End of that he originally followed him.
- 11:37Speaker 2: Yes, But also what kind of like power move is
- 11:40Speaker 2: to unfollow somebody from Facebook? I got to be honest,
- 11:43Speaker 2: I haven't logged onto my own Facebook.
- 11:46Speaker 5: It's one thing on Instagram.
- 11:47Speaker 2: To unfollow and follow, but like Facebook, like are you
- 11:50Speaker 2: one hundred and eighty two years old?
- 11:51Speaker 3: I wouldn't even know if somebody else Facebook like, hold on,
- 11:55Speaker 3: let me pull up my MySpace account and see who
- 11:57Speaker 3: my top four are.
- 11:58Speaker 5: This is insane and.
- 12:00Speaker 4: Me, you know, I thought it was pretty odd, but
- 12:03Speaker 4: I think it's just an effort to deny association and
- 12:07Speaker 4: all that stuff. But you know, it doesn't matter to
- 12:10Speaker 4: us really because we weren't coming there to use them
- 12:14Speaker 4: for anything, to leverage anything. It was literally just we
- 12:17Speaker 4: wanted you the show to show our lives and meet
- 12:19Speaker 4: new people because I just recently moved to this Potomac
- 12:22Speaker 4: area and I'm a social person. So it wasn't we
- 12:25Speaker 4: were taken back by it.
- 12:26Speaker 2: We were, Yeah, we saw that Candace is leaving the show.
- 12:31Speaker 2: She publicly announced it, so you're allowed to comment on it.
- 12:35Speaker 2: Were you surprised by this decision? Do you think it
- 12:37Speaker 2: was things that happened from the reunion or do you
- 12:39Speaker 2: think that this is why she was one foot out
- 12:41Speaker 2: one foot in the entire season.
- 12:44Speaker 4: You know, I was shocked to see her announcement. And
- 12:46Speaker 4: you know, Candice and I are on good terms. We've
- 12:48Speaker 4: maintained a pretty good relationship throughout the season, and we've
- 12:52Speaker 4: talked a little bit more since we wrapped, and we've
- 12:53Speaker 4: become I think a little bit closer. I got a
- 12:55Speaker 4: different version of Candace once the cameras went down, a
- 12:58Speaker 4: good version, right, So we're definitely growing. I think she
- 13:03Speaker 4: has a lot of opportunities coming her way, so I
- 13:04Speaker 4: think she'll be okay. But I was surprised to see
- 13:08Speaker 4: that she decided to go on.
- 13:09Speaker 3: Yeah, well, she's so talented and she's talked about it
- 13:12Speaker 3: off season, you know, since you guys stopped filming that
- 13:15Speaker 3: she wants to pursue her music career. And I would
- 13:18Speaker 3: imagine pursuing a music career and filming Housewives is pretty difficult.
- 13:23Speaker 4: It is, it is. And also like her wanting to
- 13:25Speaker 4: become a mother, like that's a whole journey myself.
- 13:28Speaker 3: Well, who do you think is going to become a mother? First?
- 13:31Speaker 2: Probably can you jow us a favor and stand up
- 13:35Speaker 2: real quick.
- 13:36Speaker 4: I'm not pregnant. So I moved on to IVF and
- 13:39Speaker 4: I will say those treatments have been a nightmare. I
- 13:41Speaker 4: never realized how many injections you have to do, how
- 13:44Speaker 4: many hormones you're pumping into your body, how it impacts
- 13:47Speaker 4: you mentally and physically. I've gained so much weight from
- 13:50Speaker 4: all this stuff, and it's just a journey I never
- 13:53Speaker 4: thought I'd ever have to do.
- 13:54Speaker 3: Is this the same thing Candace is doing IVF?
- 13:56Speaker 4: Well, Candace already did it. Candace has six embryos just
- 13:59Speaker 4: waiting for her to Incertainly, you got so.
- 14:02Speaker 2: I had multiple rounds of IVF and Loll's pregnancies and
- 14:08Speaker 2: did all the steroids, did all the medication. So like,
- 14:10Speaker 2: I completely know how difficult it can be, and especially
- 14:15Speaker 2: my guest by knowing your dates, time, all the things
- 14:18Speaker 2: that you know. Is for somebody like us who like
- 14:21Speaker 2: to control things and make sure that everything is a
- 14:24Speaker 2: certain way, and not being able to control this is
- 14:27Speaker 2: so hard. So I want to like give you love
- 14:30Speaker 2: and support. And nothing pissed me off more than people
- 14:34Speaker 2: are like, just relax and when you're ready, it'll happen.
- 14:37Speaker 2: Like it gave me freaking rage, I have another miscarriage
- 14:41Speaker 2: or this would happen.
- 14:42Speaker 5: But like, truly, now you're scaring her. No, I just
- 14:47Speaker 5: want to tell.
- 14:47Speaker 4: Her I feel I can understand what she's saying, and
- 14:49Speaker 4: it really hits hard. And people saying it'll happen naturally
- 14:53Speaker 4: is just don't say it because.
- 14:54Speaker 3: It pisses you all because a lot of times it
- 14:57Speaker 3: doesn't happen naturally.
- 14:58Speaker 5: But also like it's a okay and it takes it.
- 15:01Speaker 5: It's gonna take time.
- 15:03Speaker 2: But like I remember my doctor even saying to me,
- 15:06Speaker 2: all right, Teddy, this is the last time we're going
- 15:08Speaker 2: to do this, Like you're gonna take a break after
- 15:11Speaker 2: this and this fear.
- 15:12Speaker 5: And then finally I just went.
- 15:15Speaker 2: And like I didn't do with that five thousand tests
- 15:17Speaker 2: and I was, you know, and it was the time
- 15:19Speaker 2: that I got pregnant. So there is something tied to it,
- 15:23Speaker 2: tied to like that nervous energy that I carried.
- 15:25Speaker 3: But was this with your last one though, Dove is Dove.
- 15:29Speaker 2: I got pregnant naturally, but Cruise and Slate were IVF
- 15:32Speaker 2: and I Cruise I had probably five miscarriages before I
- 15:37Speaker 2: had him.
- 15:38Speaker 4: Oh goodness.
- 15:39Speaker 2: But the next thing that we need to get to
- 15:42Speaker 2: is one of my Instagram posts, which was about being
- 15:45Speaker 2: in the room while you were in woh.
- 15:48Speaker 5: Husband was whacking off They never gave me that often.
- 15:52Speaker 5: Thank God.
- 15:53Speaker 3: Maybe Edwin didn't want you in the room.
- 15:55Speaker 4: No, I would have been better if I wasn't in
- 15:57Speaker 4: the room. But we waitatu, you know what, because he
- 15:59Speaker 4: wanted actually violate the rules. The woman's like no saliva,
- 16:03Speaker 4: no lotion, no this, and I'm glad I was in
- 16:06Speaker 4: a patrol and I'm like, no, no, no, no.
- 16:09Speaker 3: Did I not hear you say hurry up?
- 16:13Speaker 5: Did you tell you say hurry up?
- 16:14Speaker 4: Oh?
- 16:15Speaker 5: Yeah, that's me on a daily basis, hurry up?
- 16:17Speaker 3: Are you done yet?
- 16:20Speaker 4: I did say, because you know, I feel like people
- 16:22Speaker 4: were waiting for us and the pressure is just like
- 16:25Speaker 4: on tip did we.
- 16:26Speaker 3: Not see the camera? Guys too chuckling and laughing?
- 16:30Speaker 2: How many minutes are we in? That's what I needed
- 16:33Speaker 2: to know, because like I needed a time lap because.
- 16:35Speaker 3: We know it was edited down right.
- 16:37Speaker 4: I think we were in there for like at least
- 16:39Speaker 4: ten minutes.
- 16:41Speaker 5: So what did you do? Give a handy?
- 16:43Speaker 3: Oh god, Teddy, I watched.
- 16:48Speaker 4: Yes, No, I think it was both us trying to
- 16:50Speaker 4: figure out how to make it work considering we had
- 16:51Speaker 4: no resources.
- 16:52Speaker 2: Yeah, you can't have look, you can't have loub, you
- 16:56Speaker 2: can't have your Teddies.
- 16:58Speaker 4: The teenies came out, he came.
- 17:02Speaker 3: And the pressure of knowing the cameras on the other
- 17:04Speaker 3: side of the door.
- 17:06Speaker 4: But I wasn't intelligent enough to remember. My mic was on, uh,
- 17:10Speaker 4: you know what, here's the thing. There's gonna be highs
- 17:12Speaker 4: and lows. But I do think that opened an interesting
- 17:15Speaker 4: topic that so many of us have gone through.
- 17:17Speaker 2: Because I was like, shit, nobody offered to me to
- 17:20Speaker 2: go in there with Edwin. I was like, go get
- 17:22Speaker 2: your shit done and I'll be over here, like and
- 17:25Speaker 2: then I was like, oh, should I have offered?
- 17:27Speaker 5: Was that a thing?
- 17:28Speaker 3: Well, you know, Tuddy, the gift that keeps on giving.
- 17:32Speaker 4: Well it worked out either way. You have your wonderful,
- 17:34Speaker 4: beautiful kids.
- 17:35Speaker 5: So well, we're here if you need anything at all.
- 17:40Speaker 3: Oh my god, can we talk about the shrine a
- 17:41Speaker 3: little bit? We heard about it all season long. Can
- 17:47Speaker 3: you just tell us your side of the story. And
- 17:50Speaker 3: have you spoken to Wendy's mom about it?
- 17:53Speaker 4: You know, I've never had a relationship with her mother,
- 17:55Speaker 4: so I don't know that there would be any dialogue.
- 17:58Speaker 4: You know, I do feel bad that you had to
- 18:00Speaker 4: deal with that, because you know, I did see the
- 18:02Speaker 4: feedback that people are upset that they have to watch
- 18:05Speaker 4: this thing on TV. And it's just.
- 18:07Speaker 3: You know, at least it wasn't about esophagus like in
- 18:10Speaker 3: Beverly Hills, So we're good.
- 18:11Speaker 5: Hold on, who said who did crack? Remember that happened?
- 18:15Speaker 4: I was told that I do crack, which I do not.
- 18:17Speaker 4: I can stay proudly.
- 18:19Speaker 3: Yeah, that's a very serious statement.
- 18:22Speaker 5: Of all the things. How did you even respond to that?
- 18:25Speaker 5: Like you were just like, well.
- 18:27Speaker 4: It's just I don't I don't get give a reaction
- 18:31Speaker 4: to lies. And to me, that was just such a
- 18:33Speaker 4: blatant lie in a reach that I just that's all
- 18:36Speaker 4: you can come up with. And like, I actually am
- 18:39Speaker 4: a license attorney. I have a licensed in three jurisdictions.
- 18:42Speaker 4: So to make that type of allegation, it's more than
- 18:44Speaker 4: an allegation, it's the defamatory statement so severe that the
- 18:47Speaker 4: court calls the defamation per se, meaning that if you
- 18:51Speaker 4: made that statement, I don't have to even prove damage.
- 18:53Speaker 4: Oh I know what that means, you know, right, So
- 18:57Speaker 4: to maliciously just say that was just a lot, and
- 19:00Speaker 4: I didn't I didn't have a response. It was just
- 19:02Speaker 4: very incorrect.
- 19:04Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, that makes sense.
- 19:07Speaker 2: Wow, when it comes to Levy given the chance to
- 19:22Speaker 2: show any receipts she may have had on camera, was
- 19:27Speaker 2: able to Yeah, was she able to? Where do we
- 19:30Speaker 2: stand with this? What's the update?
- 19:33Speaker 4: What type of receipts? So, I mean, there are some
- 19:36Speaker 4: receipts that can't be utilized for various reasons. But I
- 19:40Speaker 4: mean she has the phone records. The mother did state
- 19:44Speaker 4: that she made a phone call to her right then
- 19:46Speaker 4: she said that she wanted to communicate that it's easier
- 19:50Speaker 4: to make an enemy than a friend. Yeah, So I
- 19:55Speaker 4: mean we have an admission there. But in terms of
- 19:59Speaker 4: like the topic of the shrine and like, I never
- 20:00Speaker 4: intended to be a thing. It was more so just
- 20:03Speaker 4: like me letting everyone know what happened and just kind
- 20:07Speaker 4: of went haywire. And I understand why people found it
- 20:10Speaker 4: to be a sensitive topic. And I found it to
- 20:11Speaker 4: be very sensitive and scary as well, you know, So
- 20:14Speaker 4: I sympathize with viewers who are upset that that topic
- 20:18Speaker 4: was shown and I was upset to live through it.
- 20:20Speaker 4: So I mean I get it.
- 20:22Speaker 2: And I know that you have your sash and crown
- 20:25Speaker 2: still from your Miss Potomac, But what are your thoughts
- 20:28Speaker 2: now in regards to Karen's I know this is post reunion,
- 20:33Speaker 2: so you can talk about it, But this DUI situation
- 20:37Speaker 2: with Karen, like I really it's a non negotiable for me, Like,
- 20:42Speaker 2: I just can't understand it. Where do you stand with
- 20:45Speaker 2: Karen now that she's gotten this DUI?
- 20:47Speaker 4: Yeah, you know, at first when the news came out,
- 20:49Speaker 4: it just was that she was in this horrible accident, right,
- 20:52Speaker 4: So I did reach out to her and you know,
- 20:54Speaker 4: let her know them thinking about her and hope she's okay.
- 20:56Speaker 4: And you know, she acknowledged my communication. And I like Karen.
- 21:00Speaker 4: She and I have had a really good relationship. We
- 21:02Speaker 4: go back and forth, and even the sash and kron
- 21:05Speaker 4: was all fun and games. You know, she didn't take
- 21:06Speaker 4: it seriously. Neither did I. I think the aspect of
- 21:10Speaker 4: the dui is unfortunate. And I know Karen. You know,
- 21:14Speaker 4: even though I've only known her for a short period
- 21:15Speaker 4: of time, she loves her mother, and I know that
- 21:18Speaker 4: has been incredibly hard for her to get over. And
- 21:22Speaker 4: just to hear that her mother and Mother's Day coming
- 21:25Speaker 4: up had that much emotional power over her. I just
- 21:28Speaker 4: I feel bad for her. I'm praying for her, and
- 21:30Speaker 4: I hope that she resolves that and gets whatever assistance
- 21:33Speaker 4: and help that she needs, and I'm here to support her.
- 21:37Speaker 5: I have a question for you, Mekka.
- 21:39Speaker 2: If you're going through something and you knew you were
- 21:42Speaker 2: going to go hang out with friends or emotional things
- 21:45Speaker 2: were going to happen, would you have driven your car there?
- 21:50Speaker 4: Probably not. I just have a driver or an uber,
- 21:52Speaker 4: you know. But she already was in an odd mental state,
- 21:56Speaker 4: So I'm just going to give her the benefit of
- 21:57Speaker 4: the doubt that she just wasn't thinking right, because sometimes
- 21:59Speaker 4: we do have a lapse in judgment. But you know,
- 22:01Speaker 4: I would have a driver or a car, or I
- 22:04Speaker 4: would just have someone come pick me up if I
- 22:06Speaker 4: couldn't drive figured out.
- 22:09Speaker 2: But the problem I have is that she took no
- 22:11Speaker 2: accountability after it happened, Like, yeah, terrible things happen, we
- 22:15Speaker 2: make mistakes, but then after they happen, you have to say, listen,
- 22:19Speaker 2: I was emotional, I was stressed, I was sad, I
- 22:23Speaker 2: did the wrong thing.
- 22:24Speaker 5: I'm so sorry, But she didn't do that.
- 22:27Speaker 2: You know, as a viewer, it's very hard for me
- 22:30Speaker 2: to empathize with the person that can't take any accountability.
- 22:32Speaker 4: Yeah, and she's the queen of making everyone take accountability.
- 22:36Speaker 4: So I do look forward to hear what she has
- 22:38Speaker 4: to say. I definitely don't think the statement she released
- 22:40Speaker 4: is it. She is going to have to let us
- 22:42Speaker 4: know what happened and what she's doing to remedy that,
- 22:44Speaker 4: and I believe she will. Otherwise she's just a hypocrite,
- 22:48Speaker 4: and I don't believe her to be that.
- 22:52Speaker 3: I have a hard time when people say it's unfortunate
- 22:54Speaker 3: that this happened to you, Well, no, you got drunk
- 22:57Speaker 3: and got in a car and smashed into a tree
- 23:00Speaker 3: or whatever. She's mashed into or house or whatever. Yes,
- 23:06Speaker 3: she did the same thing and.
- 23:08Speaker 5: Didn't take accountability for it. This is the problem.
- 23:11Speaker 2: I had to sign a contract when I was seventeen
- 23:13Speaker 2: years old and I moved to California. Granted, the contract
- 23:16Speaker 2: was you're a lawyer, so you know it meant nothing.
- 23:19Speaker 2: But I signed it to your dad and my mom
- 23:22Speaker 2: and myself, and it was, if you ever get a DUI,
- 23:25Speaker 2: you will have to live in Indiana for the rest
- 23:27Speaker 2: of your life.
- 23:28Speaker 4: I'm a girl, so Indian is not that bad.
- 23:31Speaker 5: Indiana for me was that sport.
- 23:38Speaker 3: Hell out of the nine.
- 23:39Speaker 5: And then I swear to you on my life. I
- 23:42Speaker 5: have not driven and drank.
- 23:45Speaker 3: You don't drive the period.
- 23:47Speaker 2: I don't drive a ton, but like, I especially like,
- 23:50Speaker 2: but I will never not even one drink.
- 23:52Speaker 5: Like, there's no for me, there's nothing.
- 23:55Speaker 4: I am looking forward to Karen's next couple of statements
- 23:59Speaker 4: in her her because she is going to have to
- 24:02Speaker 4: take responsibility or explain so we can at least understand
- 24:05Speaker 4: a bit more as to.
- 24:06Speaker 3: How that as an attorney, how does this affect her
- 24:10Speaker 3: getting too?
- 24:11Speaker 4: Do you? Guys? You know I don't work in that
- 24:14Speaker 4: air of law. I'm an I.
- 24:17Speaker 5: So I was like, lucky.
- 24:19Speaker 4: I know people think that lawyers. If you're a lawyer,
- 24:22Speaker 4: you know everything everything.
- 24:23Speaker 5: Yeah, I know.
- 24:24Speaker 4: It's kind of like being a doctor, right, if you're
- 24:26Speaker 4: a nose doctor, you're probably not going to figure out
- 24:28Speaker 4: somebody's esophagus, right, or whatever the case may be.
- 24:31Speaker 5: Oh, we love it, we love it. Brought up esophagus,
- 24:34Speaker 5: I know.
- 24:35Speaker 4: Unfortunately that's the first thing I thought of.
- 24:37Speaker 5: So, oh my gosh, Well I have a question.
- 24:42Speaker 2: So if Robin's not going to be back, Candice isn't
- 24:44Speaker 2: going to be back, We're just guessing who do you
- 24:48Speaker 2: find your closest relationships with?
- 24:52Speaker 5: And Ashley's rumored as well.
- 24:54Speaker 4: So oh wow. Well, I'm very close with Ashley. You know,
- 24:58Speaker 4: she did screw me over with what she did, and
- 25:01Speaker 4: definitely I think had she not done that, Wendy wouldn't
- 25:05Speaker 4: have made the comments she made it pick a ball,
- 25:07Speaker 4: which triggered me to react how I reacted. But I
- 25:11Speaker 4: am close with Ashley. Nonetheless, I'm close with Giselle. I'm
- 25:14Speaker 4: very close with Mia as well, and Karen and I
- 25:17Speaker 4: are cool. I'm like, I'm pretty much cool with everybody.
- 25:19Speaker 4: Have you met it.
- 25:20Speaker 3: Gets your opinion on.
- 25:24Speaker 5: I need to have she met inc first.
- 25:26Speaker 4: No, I haven't met a. I was supposed to. We're
- 25:28Speaker 4: all at dinner and Ink came and picked her up,
- 25:30Speaker 4: and he was going to come in and say hello
- 25:31Speaker 4: to us, but she wouldn't let him come in. So
- 25:33Speaker 4: I think we're gonna have to meet him later on.
- 25:36Speaker 3: Now, was it known on the cast that she had
- 25:39Speaker 3: an open relationship with Gordon?
- 25:41Speaker 4: No, it wasn't Loneman. I suspected it, I believe. Was
- 25:44Speaker 4: Karen right, Yeah, she was saying that she had a rapper.
- 25:48Speaker 4: I do know that she. Mia did discuss with us
- 25:50Speaker 4: that Gordon had once proposed that they would have an
- 25:54Speaker 4: arrangement if he was unable to satisfy her or something
- 25:57Speaker 4: of that nature, but not that they had one in place.
- 26:00Speaker 2: Yes, But do you think that Gordon was stepping out
- 26:02Speaker 2: too and that's what he was doing at the strip
- 26:04Speaker 2: clubs and stuff, or do you think this was a
- 26:06Speaker 2: sole mission by me?
- 26:08Speaker 5: I don't know. I just I've always gotten the egg
- 26:10Speaker 5: by Gordon. I can't help it.
- 26:13Speaker 4: He's a very smart I like Gordon.
- 26:15Speaker 3: I actually felt really bad for him.
- 26:17Speaker 4: Yeah, he's a great episode. I just felt very smart,
- 26:21Speaker 4: business savvy, and he loves me.
- 26:23Speaker 3: Do you think he loved I think he really loves her.
- 26:26Speaker 4: I'm sure he loves her to this day.
- 26:28Speaker 3: Yeah, I feel really nice.
- 26:30Speaker 2: I don't know why I'm still holding onto that one
- 26:32Speaker 2: episode that was like two seasons ago where he like
- 26:34Speaker 2: got hammered and was like out of control.
- 26:38Speaker 5: Has has doing house It's been hard on your marriage
- 26:40Speaker 5: at all?
- 26:42Speaker 4: Not really. I think, you know, being a young marriage,
- 26:46Speaker 4: we already have a lot of things that we're trying
- 26:47Speaker 4: to work out and learn about each other. I think
- 26:50Speaker 4: that it just helped me see some things that I
- 26:51Speaker 4: need to be more mindful of. Yeah, so I think
- 26:55Speaker 4: it's probably even helped us.
- 26:56Speaker 3: Okay, so were you surprised that you were exclude from
- 27:00Speaker 3: the magazine the Monarch magaz.
- 27:02Speaker 5: Oh yeah, good.
- 27:03Speaker 3: And do you think that this was a Mia situation
- 27:07Speaker 3: or the owner of the magazine excluding you?
- 27:10Speaker 4: Well, Mia did explain to me. She sat down the
- 27:12Speaker 4: same day that she told me that I wasn't going
- 27:14Speaker 4: to be a part of it, and she explained that,
- 27:16Speaker 4: you know, the magazine only was more familiar with them
- 27:20Speaker 4: because they were already on the show, and that they
- 27:23Speaker 4: didn't know enough about me to really assign me an icon.
- 27:26Speaker 4: So I'm gonna just take her word for it. You know,
- 27:28Speaker 4: Mia was really hurt by it, and she you know,
- 27:30Speaker 4: expressed her dissatisfaction with them as well, that she thought
- 27:33Speaker 4: that it should be inclusive of everyone.
- 27:35Speaker 5: But I agree, I I believe me in this point.
- 27:37Speaker 3: Well, well, let's just say you were on the magazine.
- 27:41Speaker 3: Who would your icon be?
- 27:42Speaker 4: I thank Whitney Houston.
- 27:44Speaker 3: Oh yeah, yeah, I love it.
- 27:45Speaker 5: Can you give us a couple a couple of bars?
- 27:48Speaker 4: I can't sing, I just all of our screens if
- 27:54Speaker 4: I do that.
- 27:54Speaker 3: Okay, Petty thinks she can sing, Well, I absolutely don't.
- 27:58Speaker 5: I only hit her.
- 28:05Speaker 3: You just singing a Whitney Houston song earlier.
- 28:10Speaker 2: Final question, because we know we gotta go you. You
- 28:12Speaker 2: moved to La and then you started watching Real Housewives
- 28:15Speaker 2: of Beverly Hills. We need to know as you close out,
- 28:19Speaker 2: who is your favorite from Beverly Hills? If you could
- 28:22Speaker 2: bring one person back? You cannot say me. I know
- 28:25Speaker 2: it's really on your heart.
- 28:26Speaker 4: Who is To be honest, I actually really did like you.
- 28:31Speaker 4: I don't know what happened. You were hilarious, you were
- 28:35Speaker 4: very authentic. I'm really into genuine people, which is why
- 28:38Speaker 4: I mentioned Robin earlier and whatnot. I thought you really
- 28:41Speaker 4: brought your true self and I also liked your relationship
- 28:44Speaker 4: with Kyle.
- 28:45Speaker 5: Thank you.
- 28:46Speaker 2: But now we have to get back to the other
- 28:47Speaker 2: part of the answer, which is who's our favorite?
- 28:50Speaker 4: Okay, my favorite? I don't know if I have a favorite.
- 28:55Speaker 4: I liked Renna a little bit. I thought, you know,
- 28:57Speaker 4: she stirred up and I love Rena. Yeah, she's up
- 29:00Speaker 4: a lot of drama, so she was good. Eileen was fun.
- 29:05Speaker 5: Eileen is when we're to be coming back.
- 29:07Speaker 4: Well, let's get some more Eileen in our lives. Yeah?
- 29:09Speaker 3: Did do you watch all of the franchises?
- 29:12Speaker 4: No? Not really I started off and this is so embarrassing.
- 29:15Speaker 4: I was in college, and you know, I was in
- 29:17Speaker 4: University of Michigan, so it's winter.
- 29:19Speaker 5: How old are you?
- 29:20Speaker 4: I'm thirty six, young and young and right young. And
- 29:25Speaker 4: that's where I'm just like going to get these babies out.
- 29:27Speaker 4: My eggs are just aging as I'm sitting here.
- 29:30Speaker 5: You're not even a jerry I get pregnancy. At this point, You're.
- 29:34Speaker 3: Yes, I'll dare them, dare them.
- 29:39Speaker 4: No. But I was going to say that I actually
- 29:41Speaker 4: started watching the show by watching Orange County because that
- 29:43Speaker 4: was the only one out at that time, so Orange County,
- 29:46Speaker 4: and then I saw a little bit of Atlanta, and
- 29:49Speaker 4: then when I went to LA my friends are like, oh,
- 29:51Speaker 4: you got to see Beverly Hills out, and then I
- 29:53Speaker 4: just would see things like that. But Orange County was
- 29:55Speaker 4: really my love of housewives.
- 29:58Speaker 5: Oh wow, good, he'll bring you on recap camera.
- 30:01Speaker 3: Yes, when the show airs did was there ever any
- 30:03Speaker 3: part of you that wanted to be on Beverly Hills
- 30:06Speaker 3: when you lived in LA.
- 30:07Speaker 4: I don't know that I ever wanted to be on
- 30:09Speaker 4: any of the housewives. I just watched it, like when
- 30:11Speaker 4: I was in college, and I just moved off my life.
- 30:14Speaker 4: I never thought I would be on, never expected to
- 30:15Speaker 4: be on. But then you know, when I got married
- 30:17Speaker 4: and moved and the opportunity came, I was like, well
- 30:19Speaker 4: why not. I have a dope ass life and I
- 30:20Speaker 4: have great people around me, So why not.
- 30:23Speaker 3: I have a dope ass life, and I drink champagne
- 30:25Speaker 3: with my cheerios.
- 30:27Speaker 5: I drink champagne with my premade of vitamins.
- 30:31Speaker 3: I have something to talk about.
- 30:34Speaker 5: In the end.
- 30:35Speaker 2: Closing, if you were to say who you are closest
- 30:38Speaker 2: with on Potomac like that you would want to hang
- 30:40Speaker 2: out with or go on a trip with off camera,
- 30:43Speaker 2: who would it be?
- 30:47Speaker 4: That's really really hard because like I said, I'm actually
- 30:49Speaker 4: really close with all the ones that you regularly see
- 30:51Speaker 4: me with, So I would probably say either. I was
- 30:54Speaker 4: actually supposed to go on vacation with Ashley, just for
- 30:57Speaker 4: the weekends of the winery to the vineyard, and I
- 30:58Speaker 4: couldn't go because I had now. So I do do
- 31:00Speaker 4: a lot of stuff with Ashley. I spend a lot
- 31:02Speaker 4: of time with Sharis. I do see Robin and Gazelle
- 31:05Speaker 4: and call them often, and me I could be giving
- 31:07Speaker 4: of them honestly, probably Sharise.
- 31:09Speaker 5: Do you think Jacqueline's going to be back? Because I
- 31:11Speaker 5: did like Jacqueline.
- 31:12Speaker 4: I like Jacqueline too. I do like Jaqueline. Is she
- 31:15Speaker 4: gonna be back? I don't know.
- 31:17Speaker 3: Do you think do you think Debra is going to
- 31:18Speaker 3: be back?
- 31:22Speaker 4: Absolutely?
- 31:24Speaker 5: Oh never.
- 31:26Speaker 3: She will never be on that show ever again.
- 31:28Speaker 4: I was really sad to see and it really hurt
- 31:31Speaker 4: my heart to watch that on our platform yesterday. And
- 31:33Speaker 4: I'm glad that everyone's okay. And I think violence is
- 31:36Speaker 4: never the answer, and I think people that'd be very
- 31:39Speaker 4: cautious when throwing hands, throwing drinks, throwing things that you
- 31:42Speaker 4: just never know how bottles.
- 31:44Speaker 5: Yeah, how did Kierna handle it in the moment?
- 31:51Speaker 4: I think she It was all a blur for me.
- 31:53Speaker 4: I was literally in the midst of the fight, but
- 31:56Speaker 4: instantly it was just like drink toss, push to the face,
- 32:00Speaker 4: drink glass thrown to Kiarena space and then she just fight.
- 32:04Speaker 4: It was just they just scrubbled onto the couch, then
- 32:07Speaker 4: to the floor and then there was blood and then
- 32:09Speaker 4: she was whisked the way to the restroom and then into.
- 32:12Speaker 5: What color dress did you have on? Because I watched
- 32:14Speaker 5: the Tamzy video.
- 32:15Speaker 4: Yeah, I had a green dress, so I was to
- 32:17Speaker 4: the right. Not meant no.
- 32:19Speaker 3: Meant she wasn't throwing down.
- 32:22Speaker 4: No, I'm trying to I don't fight. Yeah, it was
- 32:25Speaker 4: a dark green dress. I was to the right of
- 32:27Speaker 4: Deborah and right between Deborah and Okay here now yeah.
- 32:34Speaker 3: Yeah, Who do you think gave the iPhone footage to Tamsey?
- 32:39Speaker 4: Oh? I don't know, because there was a lot of
- 32:40Speaker 4: people there, to be honest, there was a lot of
- 32:43Speaker 4: people there. We had already wrapped, production was done, and
- 32:47Speaker 4: that's why Robin and Gazelle were gone because you know,
- 32:49Speaker 4: Jesseelle had a family emergency that she'd get back home.
- 32:51Speaker 4: Robin was wrapped and you know, going home herself. We
- 32:54Speaker 4: were on our way out. So I don't know. But
- 32:56Speaker 4: there was a lot of people there. I could have
- 32:58Speaker 4: been anyone.
- 32:59Speaker 3: Why do you think she started the fight off camera?
- 33:04Speaker 4: You know, I didn't even hear the comments that Candice
- 33:07Speaker 4: allegedly made to her, so I didn't know anything was
- 33:09Speaker 4: actually going on until I saw the conference.
- 33:11Speaker 5: Canada started it.
- 33:12Speaker 3: Do you think Canada started? Yeah, I didn't hear anything
- 33:15Speaker 3: from can be a little sharp with her tongue at times.
- 33:18Speaker 4: She can, but it's a difficult slippery slope because she
- 33:22Speaker 4: does have the right to speak and say what she
- 33:24Speaker 4: wants to say. But some people obviously don't handle that
- 33:27Speaker 4: very well.
- 33:28Speaker 3: Not today, Sesame Street, Not today today.
- 33:32Speaker 2: I'd appreciate that they use that as their ad on Bravo,
- 33:36Speaker 2: so thank you so much.
- 33:38Speaker 3: I thought it was pretty funny.
- 33:40Speaker 4: I think it's crazy that that name was actually taken flight, you.
- 33:43Speaker 3: Know, and they showed a commercial. They showed a commercial
- 33:47Speaker 3: Sesame Street Bravo after the episode, or died after the episode.
