- 0:00Speaker 1: Here's more. Mark Simone on seven K and w R. Well,
- 0:05Speaker 1: Bill O'Reilly the number one TV I go for decades,
- 0:07Speaker 1: the number one best selling nonfiction author on Earth. His
- 0:11Speaker 1: latest book, Confronting Evil. Excellent book if you haven't gotten
- 0:15Speaker 1: it yet, it's a big best seller. Confronting Evil. Order that.
- 0:19Speaker 1: Make sure you watch Bill O'Reilly's YouTube channel. Excellent stuff there,
- 0:23Speaker 1: and of course the TV show, the column everything's at
- 0:25Speaker 1: Bill O'Reilly dot com. Bill O'Reilly dot com, Bill O'Reilly,
- 0:29Speaker 1: how you doing all right?
- 0:33Speaker 2: And cruising into another busy newsweek.
- 0:38Speaker 1: Hey, the shutdown it looks like, but you know the
- 0:43Speaker 1: history of this, No party's ever achieved anything with a shutdown.
- 0:46Speaker 1: You never get anything out of it, do you.
- 0:49Speaker 2: Not. For the American people who were securely political play
- 0:55Speaker 2: Democrats believe that they did have a victory because of
- 1:00Speaker 2: the election results. So that's what they believe. And it
- 1:05Speaker 2: might be true that people were so angry about high
- 1:10Speaker 2: food prices in the government shut down. And when historically
- 1:14Speaker 2: when the folks get mad, the American people, they vote
- 1:18Speaker 2: against the incumbency. That goes all the way back to
- 1:21Speaker 2: John Adams, by the way. So I mean, this is
- 1:26Speaker 2: what Americans are. We're an impatient people. We don't see
- 1:30Speaker 2: the big picture sometimes. But the government will reopen this
- 1:35Speaker 2: week and then we'll have to go through this again
- 1:37Speaker 2: in January, the same thing. It's crazy. Yeah.
- 1:40Speaker 1: Is the president serious about giving everybody a check for
- 1:43Speaker 1: two thousand dollars from the tariff revenue?
- 1:46Speaker 2: Sure, he's very serious. I did a message to the
- 1:49Speaker 2: day on Bill O'Reilly dot com and it's a little
- 1:52Speaker 2: bit more to it than people know. I don't know
- 1:55Speaker 2: logistically if he's going to have an easy time getting
- 1:59Speaker 2: the money out of the treasury or not, because Congress
- 2:02Speaker 2: is going to try to say, hey, we have to
- 2:04Speaker 2: have a say in this, and then it gets litigated.
- 2:07Speaker 2: You know how that goes. But the reason that Trump
- 2:11Speaker 2: is able to get all the tariff money in here
- 2:15Speaker 2: is because of us, we the people. Because he's essentially
- 2:19Speaker 2: charging an admissions fee to all the countries around the
- 2:23Speaker 2: world to do business in the United States, like a
- 2:26Speaker 2: cover charge, because we buy more stuff by far than
- 2:34Speaker 2: any other people on earth, and so everybody wants to
- 2:38Speaker 2: send their stuff to America because we buy it. And
- 2:43Speaker 2: under the other administrations they could do that without any
- 2:48Speaker 2: admission fee, and it was hurting our domestic sales because
- 2:54Speaker 2: those countries Japan, Korea, China, on and on India wouldn't
- 2:59Speaker 2: take a lot of American goods. And Trump got in
- 3:03Speaker 2: and said, this is ridiculous. So you're gonna have to
- 3:06Speaker 2: take our stuff, and you're gonna have to pay a
- 3:09Speaker 2: cover charge to sell your stuff in Indianapolis, so that
- 3:14Speaker 2: we the people are part of this tariff money flowing
- 3:19Speaker 2: into the US treasury. So we earn the money the
- 3:23Speaker 2: two thousand. But it's not gonna be easy for him
- 3:27Speaker 2: to get that out.
- 3:28Speaker 1: Yeah, now you put it out. It's like the Democrats,
- 3:30Speaker 1: you know, they'd love to give away free stuff. Is
- 3:32Speaker 1: Trump learning a lesson from that, copying that?
- 3:36Speaker 2: Yeah, but this is the easiest way. So it's pretty
- 3:39Speaker 2: hard to bring down the price of steak because you've
- 3:43Speaker 2: got fifteen people involved in the steak. You got the cowboys,
- 3:47Speaker 2: you got the meat packing plants, you got the truckers,
- 3:50Speaker 2: you got the grocery stores. It's pretty hard. But saying Okay,
- 3:59Speaker 2: that's gonna take me to years to get that under control.
- 4:01Speaker 2: But I will take me twenty minutes to send you
- 4:04Speaker 2: a two thousand dollars check to cover the high cross
- 4:07Speaker 2: the food. That's what this is, and that's what he's doing.
- 4:11Speaker 1: Yeah, now, Bill o'reiley, are we done with Andrew Clomo?
- 4:14Speaker 1: I love the way you describe him. I'm reading your
- 4:16Speaker 1: message to Bella Lagosi. That's the perfect description.
- 4:20Speaker 2: Didn't he look like he looked like bell I told him,
- 4:23Speaker 2: you know, if you just turned into a bat just twice,
- 4:27Speaker 2: he would have been elected. He was looking grayer and grayer,
- 4:33Speaker 2: and pallor and pallor, and just I said, that's Bella
- 4:36Speaker 2: Lagosi out there, reincarnated. Are you through with Andrew Clomo
- 4:41Speaker 2: as far as an elected official? You are? Oh?
- 4:44Speaker 1: Good? Yeah?
- 4:45Speaker 2: Well, what he is going to do, and I know
- 4:48Speaker 2: this to be a fact, is behind the scenes, try
- 4:52Speaker 2: to reorganize the New York Democratic Party and purge the
- 4:56Speaker 2: radical elements. So that's what he's going to do, and
- 5:02Speaker 2: I hope he's successful.
- 5:03Speaker 1: We watched him in the primary try to battle the
- 5:06Speaker 1: relic or radical elements, and he was useless at that.
- 5:12Speaker 2: Yeah, but now he's mad, so he's a little bit
- 5:16Speaker 2: more motivated. Now. It's personal, as they say in The Godfather.
- 5:22Speaker 2: But that's what he's gonna do.
- 5:23Speaker 1: Well, that would be great if he did that, But
- 5:24Speaker 1: Isn't that like Schumer trying to take on AOC. It's
- 5:27Speaker 1: not going to work.
- 5:29Speaker 2: I don't know whether to work or not. It's all
- 5:31Speaker 2: about money. You know. The money aspect of the far
- 5:37Speaker 2: left is the Sorrows people. That's where it all comes from.
- 5:41Speaker 2: And then there's other organizations that tie in Ford Foundation
- 5:45Speaker 2: all of those. But the radical Left has an enormous
- 5:48Speaker 2: amount of money, way more than the moderate Democrats. And
- 5:52Speaker 2: I think that's what they're going to try to work on,
- 5:54Speaker 2: is to build up the war chest for moderate Democrats
- 5:59Speaker 2: that they want to run against the aocs. And Schumer,
- 6:04Speaker 2: by the way he's done, he's not going to even
- 6:06Speaker 2: run again. You heard it here on the Mark Simone Show,
- 6:09Speaker 2: because he'll lose Toulcosio Cortes and he doesn't want to
- 6:13Speaker 2: go out that way.
- 6:16Speaker 1: Yeah. You know the problem is if you give the
- 6:18Speaker 1: radical Mamdani zillions of dollars, he does these very effective
- 6:22Speaker 1: TikTok stuff and if you know, if you give it
- 6:25Speaker 1: to a Schumer or a Cuomo, they do these tired
- 6:27Speaker 1: old commercials. I'm Andrew Cuomo, vote for you? Can they
- 6:31Speaker 1: be effective in today's world even with the money.
- 6:35Speaker 2: Look, it's a rapidly changing world. I've hung in there
- 6:39Speaker 2: in journalism for more than fifty years. There are only
- 6:42Speaker 2: two of us on the national scene, two that have
- 6:48Speaker 2: this kind of longevity, me and brit Hume. And I
- 6:55Speaker 2: have to tell you, I don't know anything about TikTok.
- 6:59Speaker 2: I don't care about out any of it. But my
- 7:04Speaker 2: younger staff they are in charge of marketing my products
- 7:12Speaker 2: on social media because that's where it is, that's where
- 7:17Speaker 2: all the action is, and it's never coming back to
- 7:20Speaker 2: the networks or cable TV. Never it's over. So even
- 7:26Speaker 2: though I don't know anything, I'm a luddite, which means
- 7:30Speaker 2: you can't do technology, and I can. I'm spotting enough
- 7:33Speaker 2: to hire people who can't. And that's where we are.
- 7:37Speaker 1: You're an expert on content. That's the secret of you.
- 7:39Speaker 1: You come up with great content.
- 7:41Speaker 2: I have to spend all my time actually thinking yeah,
- 7:44Speaker 2: which separates me from every other not every other, but
- 7:49Speaker 2: most other pundits. Particularly on television. You don't think. They
- 7:54Speaker 2: get talking points in the morning and they spit them out.
- 7:57Speaker 2: I hate that. Oh it guys me crazy.
- 8:00Speaker 1: So I'm watching the Sunday shows. Every single Democratic guest
- 8:03Speaker 1: used the same phrase, if president Trump didn't spend all
- 8:06Speaker 1: his time on the golf course.
- 8:07Speaker 2: Every guest on that's what they got in the morning.
- 8:12Speaker 2: Who sent to them?
- 8:13Speaker 1: Where is it sent from? Who coordinates this?
- 8:16Speaker 2: The K Street in Washington, there are three or four
- 8:19Speaker 2: firms that work for the Democratic Party. They get paid
- 8:23Speaker 2: enormous amounts of money to do that. And every morning
- 8:27Speaker 2: they have a list of people in Mani media and
- 8:30Speaker 2: a lot of Congress people and they get faxes. Uh,
- 8:35Speaker 2: this is the talking points of the day. And the
- 8:37Speaker 2: Republicans do it too, but they're not nearly as good
- 8:40Speaker 2: at it. And the people go out then they go
- 8:45Speaker 2: out on their programs and they spit the same verbiage
- 8:48Speaker 2: at almost word for work. That's how it's done. That's
- 8:52Speaker 2: called propaganda. Yeah, okay, And you know the guy that
- 8:56Speaker 2: perfected that is Goebbels, who worked for Hitler. He was
- 9:02Speaker 2: the Minister of Propaganda in the Third Reich. And what
- 9:05Speaker 2: he did once Hitler took over in nineteen thirty four
- 9:09Speaker 2: was he basically sent you know, a faction center or anything,
- 9:14Speaker 2: but messengered all the news media in Berlin saying this
- 9:20Speaker 2: is what you are to say tonight, well or today,
- 9:24Speaker 2: this is what you're put in your newspaper and they
- 9:28Speaker 2: did a radio then or in Santa Radio, and if
- 9:31Speaker 2: you didn't say it, guess what happened.
- 9:35Speaker 1: Yeh wow. Well we're out of time, but everybody, if
- 9:38Speaker 1: you want to read more stuff like this, get Bill
- 9:40Speaker 1: O'Reilly's latest book, Confronting Evil. It is a fascinating book.
- 9:45Speaker 1: All of his books are, they're all great bestsellers. And
- 9:47Speaker 1: check out his YouTube channel, and of course get the
- 9:51Speaker 1: TV show, the column, the Message of the day. Everything's
