- 0:02Speaker 1: Little announcement that you maybe have heard on ESPN, CNN, Instagram, Facebook,
- 0:09Speaker 1: anywhere everywhere, you know, the billboard, walking down the street.
- 0:14Speaker 1: Taylor Swift and Travis Kelcey are engaged to be married,
- 0:18Speaker 1: which is great wonderful news. Unless you also thought you
- 0:22Speaker 1: had some great wonderful news that you were excited to
- 0:25Speaker 1: share yesterday would have been a horrible day for you
- 0:29Speaker 1: to win the like a Nobel Peace Prize, because nobody cared,
- 0:34Speaker 1: no one.
- 0:35Speaker 2: That's all anyone was talking about was Taylor Swift.
- 0:37Speaker 1: And so we are going to give you the space
- 0:40Speaker 1: today to share that news that you either a held
- 0:43Speaker 1: back or b it got pushed so far down the
- 0:47Speaker 1: algorithm that you could delete it and repost it and
- 0:49Speaker 1: still no one would notice.
- 0:51Speaker 2: Okay, so it did Taylor Swift steal your thunder yesterday.
- 0:55Speaker 1: Let us know it's seven oh one two eight zero
- 0:58Speaker 1: one nine eight seven.
- 1:06Speaker 3: We get it.
- 1:07Speaker 4: You're engaged, Taylor Swift. You stole all the thunder. But
- 1:12Speaker 4: you know what other people had big news too. Emily,
- 1:16Speaker 4: who lives in a family of Swifties, messaged us what
- 1:20Speaker 4: happened with her announcement yesterday?
- 1:23Speaker 5: I had finally saved up enough to buy my dream
- 1:27Speaker 5: house and move across the country. I was literally typing
- 1:30Speaker 5: in the family group chat when my sister sent the
- 1:32Speaker 5: news about Travis and Taylor. I never broke the news.
- 1:37Speaker 5: I don't I still haven't broken the news.
- 1:39Speaker 2: Emily's just sitting on this.
- 1:41Speaker 3: That makes me sad.
- 1:42Speaker 2: Did you hear that?
- 1:43Speaker 3: Sniffle?
- 1:43Speaker 4: Okay, well, Emily, let's talk about this as though you're Taylor.
- 1:47Speaker 3: Swift breaking news.
- 1:50Speaker 4: Emily finally saved up enough to buy her dream house
- 1:55Speaker 4: and move across the country.
- 1:58Speaker 3: We've all been waiting for this to happen.
- 2:00Speaker 2: Bit, that's right.
- 2:00Speaker 3: We've all thought, when is it gonna happen?
- 2:02Speaker 2: Emily? Are you?
- 2:03Speaker 1: Are you like before the fall? Are you trying to
- 2:05Speaker 1: do this? Or is just gonna be a late falling?
- 2:07Speaker 5: Right?
- 2:07Speaker 4: And we've all been looking for the Easter eggs, right like.
- 2:11Speaker 4: She hadn't been posting, so we didn't see her going
- 2:14Speaker 4: out as much, and that probably is because she was
- 2:16Speaker 4: saving money for this house and for this move. That's right,
- 2:21Speaker 4: and now it's finally happened. Whoa, Emily, this is major
- 2:28Speaker 4: news relations. I hope that your family is listening right now,
- 2:32Speaker 4: and if not, catch up with the big ninety eight
- 2:35Speaker 4: point seven podcast later and send it to your family.
- 2:40Speaker 3: That's incredible news.
- 2:41Speaker 4: If you had a big announcement but Taylor Swift stole
- 2:46Speaker 4: your thunder, let us know and we will hype you
- 2:48Speaker 4: up on air seven eight one nine eight seven.
- 2:51Speaker 1: A massive congratulations to Emily is she no longer has
- 2:55Speaker 1: to reuse those ketchup packages.
- 2:56Speaker 4: That's right, my little victory game.
- 3:05Speaker 3: I was so excited.
- 3:06Speaker 4: In third grade, we did a unit on rockets, and
- 3:10Speaker 4: so we got to build a rocket and launch it.
- 3:13Speaker 4: But the day before I was supposed to launch my rocket,
- 3:16Speaker 4: this kid Ellis.
- 3:18Speaker 3: I don't know where he is now, but I hope
- 3:19Speaker 3: bad things happened to him.
- 3:20Speaker 4: This kid Ellis stole my rocket and never brought it back.
- 3:25Speaker 4: And he told me as we were leaving school, and
- 3:27Speaker 4: he's like, I took your rocket, and I didn't believe him.
- 3:29Speaker 4: But then the next day my rocket was nowhere to
- 3:31Speaker 4: be found and I never got to launch the rocket.
- 3:33Speaker 4: All that to say, fast forward a lot of years
- 3:36Speaker 4: and yesterday me and the kiddos and Mikey went to
- 3:41Speaker 4: the park and.
- 3:41Speaker 3: We launched rockets. It was so fun.
- 3:45Speaker 2: That's the most family activity I've ever heard.
- 3:48Speaker 3: I have to post video of this on the Big
- 3:50Speaker 3: ninety eight points.
- 3:51Speaker 4: I'm on Facebook page and our instagram oh at Big
- 3:54Speaker 4: nine eighty seven FM on Instagram. If you don't follow
- 3:57Speaker 4: us there, give us a follow, we'll follow you back.
- 3:58Speaker 4: But it was so fun, so cool. The kids were
- 4:01Speaker 4: so excited to hold down the little button and then
- 4:04Speaker 4: it just went whew, and they were just so thrilled.
- 4:07Speaker 2: Were these like plastics, cyrofoam? What's the world?
- 4:10Speaker 3: Rocks like cardboard?
- 4:11Speaker 6: Oh?
- 4:12Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 4:12Speaker 4: And then when they shoot up, they fled back down
- 4:16Speaker 4: with a little parachute. Then the kids were like running
- 4:19Speaker 4: to chase the parachute. We launched them a few times. Mikey,
- 4:22Speaker 4: who is a teacher, really loves science and so he
- 4:25Speaker 4: was like, yeah, I have a bunch of the little
- 4:27Speaker 4: engines for the rockets, so we can launch these as
- 4:29Speaker 4: many times as we want. And I was so thrilled.
- 4:32Speaker 4: So yeah, I was on a high yesterday.
- 4:35Speaker 1: That's that sounds actually like a fire family activity.
- 4:38Speaker 3: Yes, I mean we still have more. If you want
- 4:41Speaker 3: to come over with Corey we.
- 4:43Speaker 2: Go on rockets. Yes, yeah.
- 4:46Speaker 1: My little victory a very very I mean there's a
- 4:48Speaker 1: lot going on right So Taylor Swift and Travis Breake
- 4:51Speaker 1: the entire internet, basically break the news cycle. Angie's doing
- 4:55Speaker 1: some fun family activities. We have kids going to school
- 4:59Speaker 1: for their first day in the Fargod public school system.
- 5:03Speaker 1: Here do you know my little victory is Angie has
- 5:05Speaker 1: not twelve minutes ago I found a couple bucks in
- 5:09Speaker 1: my pocket.
- 5:10Speaker 2: I found three ones in my pocket. Okay, that a
- 5:14Speaker 2: little victory victory in and of itself. I got three
- 5:17Speaker 2: bones here. I'm gonna go buy me a Reese's cup
- 5:20Speaker 2: in the vending machine.
- 5:21Speaker 3: I love this for you.
- 5:23Speaker 4: I think nothing is greater than when you put on
- 5:25Speaker 4: a pair of jeans and you just like go to
- 5:27Speaker 4: you know, put your hands in your pockets to make
- 5:29Speaker 4: sure it's all situated, and.
- 5:30Speaker 3: Then what is that?
- 5:31Speaker 4: Yeah, crisp clean one dollar bills because clearly this went
- 5:35Speaker 4: through the washer.
- 5:37Speaker 3: I love this for.
- 5:37Speaker 1: You, like crunchy and kind of hard because I went
- 5:40Speaker 1: through the washer and then the dryer or whatever. So hey,
- 5:42Speaker 1: I found three bucks today, A pretty solid little victory.
- 5:46Speaker 1: Theresay the first day of school? What are some of
- 5:55Speaker 1: what are some of the things you remember being your
- 5:57Speaker 1: first day favorites? Let us know it's out one two
- 6:00Speaker 1: eight zero one nine eight seven Fargo Public School's first
- 6:04Speaker 1: day of class today. Yeah, and one of my favorite things.
- 6:08Speaker 1: And there was a lot of awesome things about the
- 6:10Speaker 1: first day. One of my favorites. You knew you were
- 6:13Speaker 1: trying to look fly that day. It was so dope
- 6:17Speaker 1: walking into school going all right, like I'm looking fresh.
- 6:19Speaker 3: Yeah, I love that. I love that.
- 6:21Speaker 4: And the fact that you can really just focus on
- 6:24Speaker 4: how dope you look because you're not doing anything on
- 6:27Speaker 4: the first day. You're getting like the syllabus, but you
- 6:30Speaker 4: don't really have to go through that until you get
- 6:32Speaker 4: home and your parent has to sign it or whatever.
- 6:35Speaker 3: It's just the most chill day.
- 6:38Speaker 4: It's nice to get back in the swing of things,
- 6:40Speaker 4: to see all your friends.
- 6:42Speaker 2: Yeah, it's nice.
- 6:43Speaker 3: It's a good ease into the school year.
- 6:45Speaker 2: That was my favorite.
- 6:46Speaker 1: When you get to like middle school and high school
- 6:48Speaker 1: and you got to start going to different classes. I
- 6:50Speaker 1: wanted to see what baddies were in my classes. It's like, oh,
- 6:53Speaker 1: hitting on her this year?
- 6:54Speaker 3: Oh wow, No, I love this for you. I know that.
- 6:58Speaker 4: When I went to the back to school night for
- 7:02Speaker 4: Aiden's High school the other.
- 7:03Speaker 3: Day, Yeah, he I could tell.
- 7:06Speaker 4: He was looking at some girls like as we were
- 7:08Speaker 4: walking through the class and I'm like, oh, okay, well,
- 7:11Speaker 4: let's say I'm interested to know what his type is.
- 7:14Speaker 2: That's right, Do.
- 7:15Speaker 1: You want to know what My favorite though low key
- 7:18Speaker 1: that I think goes underappreciated, what to me, it would
- 7:22Speaker 1: have been what the school had for lunch on the
- 7:27Speaker 1: first day, because I always in my head felt like,
- 7:31Speaker 1: you know how you all summer, you do your summer
- 7:34Speaker 1: shopping or whatever. You going to school with your best right.
- 7:37Speaker 1: I always thought in my head like, oh, the lunch people,
- 7:41Speaker 1: they're not really the lunch ladies or gentlemen. They're not
- 7:44Speaker 1: sick of us yet, they don't hate our guts. They're
- 7:47Speaker 1: gonna really put in some effort.
- 7:48Speaker 3: They're gonna give you some gormt.
- 7:50Speaker 2: This is about to be fire. And you know what
- 7:54Speaker 2: it always was. It was great. There was nothing better
- 7:57Speaker 2: than first day of school lunch.
- 7:59Speaker 4: I have not even thought about that, but you know
- 8:01Speaker 4: what I will say, My kids both have told me
- 8:04Speaker 4: that they're excited to get I don't know if this
- 8:07Speaker 4: is commentary on how I am as a cook.
- 8:10Speaker 3: But they're very excited to get back to school lunch.
- 8:13Speaker 7: I don't know if it's because Fargo Public schools has
- 8:16Speaker 7: the best lunch in the nation, or I need to
- 8:21Speaker 7: take some classes.
- 8:29Speaker 1: And it's time for sorry not sorry, where we say
- 8:31Speaker 1: the thing that you're thinking, but you're just too polite
- 8:34Speaker 1: to say, we're gonna die on the hill of controversial opinion.
- 8:38Speaker 2: So you don't have to, Angie, what do you have
- 8:43Speaker 2: to say today?
- 8:44Speaker 4: If you are not a Swiftie, I promise you it
- 8:47Speaker 4: is perfectly okay to not hate on her engagement. The
- 8:52Speaker 4: news broke the Internet, and you might think that's very stupid,
- 8:56Speaker 4: but Taylor Swift is pop culture.
- 8:58Speaker 3: Them's the breaks.
- 9:00Speaker 4: You can choose to not engage with the engagement news,
- 9:05Speaker 4: but to go out of your way to hate on
- 9:07Speaker 4: it is so lame. There's a lot of bad news
- 9:10Speaker 4: in this world. And if the thing that pushes you
- 9:13Speaker 4: over the edge is that two people found love and
- 9:16Speaker 4: got engaged, to quote the great Gabe Glidden, you need
- 9:21Speaker 4: some more adversity in your life. At the very least,
- 9:26Speaker 4: enjoy the memes like the one captioned Taylor on her
- 9:30Speaker 4: wedding day, and it's a picture of a private jet
- 9:32Speaker 4: in the middle of a wedding aisle, commenting who cares
- 9:36Speaker 4: in all caps is hate behavior? That makes you look
- 9:39Speaker 4: like a miserable person. You might be thinking, Ah, she's
- 9:43Speaker 4: a swiftie.
- 9:44Speaker 3: I'm not. I was team Kanye, just kidding, but I'm not.
- 9:47Speaker 4: A swiftie, just a girl who likes to celebrate joy
- 9:50Speaker 4: and love and won't hate on anyone else doing the same.
- 9:58Speaker 1: Now, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelsey are engaged to be married,
- 10:02Speaker 1: which will make them husband and wife one day, and
- 10:06Speaker 1: there is a viral video clip going on around the
- 10:10Speaker 1: internet that Taylor Swift might soon or very well soon
- 10:14Speaker 1: learn about husbands. And I saw this and I went,
- 10:17Speaker 1: oh my, oh my god, I'm one of these.
- 10:20Speaker 3: Are you a scrub?
- 10:21Speaker 2: This is me.
- 10:22Speaker 1: I'm definitely a chef scrub. Okay, take a listen to this,
- 10:27Speaker 1: and do you or your hobby do this.
- 10:30Speaker 6: My husband is going to make burgers tonight for dinner
- 10:32Speaker 6: and I was like, what are you making with the burgers?
- 10:35Speaker 6: And he was like, what do you mean? And I
- 10:37Speaker 6: was like, what are you making with the burgers? Is
- 10:39Speaker 6: it a burger and fries? Are you making a salad
- 10:42Speaker 6: to go with it? Is there fruit on the side?
- 10:44Speaker 6: What's the side dish? And He's like, I'm not making
- 10:47Speaker 6: a side dish. How many of your husbands do that
- 10:50Speaker 6: when they make dinner, Because every time my husband makes dinner,
- 10:53Speaker 6: it's just a burger on a plate, a piece of
- 10:56Speaker 6: chicken on a plate. I love that I have a
- 10:59Speaker 6: domes a husband who will make dinner, but he has
- 11:02Speaker 6: literally served us just a single chicken breast on a plate.
- 11:06Speaker 1: I'll be honest, Travis Kelcey seems like one of these
- 11:09Speaker 1: individuals just like me. Corey is constantly asking, oh, is
- 11:14Speaker 1: there like gonna be garlic bread with the spaghetti? Or
- 11:16Speaker 1: are do do we have like a side? Are you
- 11:19Speaker 1: making whatever?
- 11:20Speaker 2: No? What I need you to do is just have
- 11:24Speaker 2: more of the what I made.
- 11:25Speaker 4: Okay, that part I am with this woman's husband in that.
- 11:30Speaker 3: Yeah, you're one of us.
- 11:32Speaker 4: Yes, I just make listen. My culinary skills are limited,
- 11:36Speaker 4: as is. You want me to make a side dish
- 11:39Speaker 4: in addition to how much work I had to put
- 11:41Speaker 4: in for this Maine. And that's the thing. If you
- 11:45Speaker 4: are still hungry, just eat more of the dish. I
- 11:48Speaker 4: can't give you a side di you're asking too much.
- 11:51Speaker 1: Yeah, there's if we're making like chili, right, Corey is
- 11:55Speaker 1: very She'll like make a sandwich with hers and like
- 11:57Speaker 1: bread and dunket and YadA YadA YadA, And if I'm
- 12:01Speaker 1: up to bat, I'll just have her eat more chili.
- 12:05Speaker 2: Yes, I never have a side dish.
- 12:07Speaker 3: I don't like too many steps.
- 12:09Speaker 2: Okay, you know what we can't be alone in.
- 12:11Speaker 1: This is your hubby also someone who you know what
- 12:14Speaker 1: when he's making chicken, that's what we're having chicken.
- 12:19Speaker 2: EXEP one two eight zero one nine eight seven.
- 12:22Speaker 1: I do have a feeling, Well, they probably can just
- 12:25Speaker 1: pay for chef service, but I do have a feeling
- 12:27Speaker 1: this would be Travis Kelcey, Travis Kelson. He is making
- 12:32Speaker 1: burgers and then you just eat more burgers kind of guy. Yeah,
- 12:35Speaker 1: I think Taylor's gonna learn very soon about hubbies. I
- 12:44Speaker 1: feel like when you were in school, you had some
- 12:48Speaker 1: type of favorite supply. Whether it was like you loved
- 12:52Speaker 1: the backpack with the one shoulder strap, Oh yeah, a
- 12:57Speaker 1: trapper keeper that was just fire.
- 13:03Speaker 2: I frank folders, yeah, maybe.
- 13:05Speaker 1: You really loved your your graphic folders or whatever. You
- 13:10Speaker 1: want to know what my favorite school supply when I
- 13:12Speaker 1: could find at school, because lord knows, I never remember
- 13:16Speaker 1: to bring it. What if I could track down a
- 13:21Speaker 1: zero point seven mm mechanical pencil. I knew I was
- 13:26Speaker 1: getting all of my homework.
- 13:27Speaker 2: Done that day.
- 13:28Speaker 1: That is crazy to me to this day, I still
- 13:31Speaker 1: remember those pencils. I actually want to start using them
- 13:33Speaker 1: at work, but we have to use pens all the time.
- 13:36Speaker 3: I cannot believe that mechanical pencils were.
- 13:38Speaker 2: The thing for you.
- 13:40Speaker 1: That's seven millimeter graph fight plus when you were bored,
- 13:43Speaker 1: you could sit there and push the graph fight down
- 13:46Speaker 1: on the thing and then hold the button on the
- 13:48Speaker 1: back or the erase, slide it back up and give
- 13:50Speaker 1: it a couple more clicks. Fidget more of a fidget
- 13:55Speaker 1: toy than an actual tool to getting my homework done.
- 13:58Speaker 1: But when I could find one of those bad boys,
- 14:01Speaker 1: I knew it was like I won the power ball.
- 14:04Speaker 4: I like that we got more context, because now that
- 14:06Speaker 4: makes sense to me. My kids we stocked up on
- 14:10Speaker 4: supplies yesterday, a little bit late, procrastinating because they started
- 14:14Speaker 4: school today.
- 14:15Speaker 2: Sure, but.
- 14:19Speaker 4: Liam was particularly excited about the highlighters. He thought the
- 14:23Speaker 4: highlighters were the coolest thing on the planet. He thinks
- 14:25Speaker 4: it's amazing that you can take a marker and right
- 14:29Speaker 4: over something and it doesn't take out what the words were.
- 14:32Speaker 3: It just highlights it. He's so fascinated.
- 14:35Speaker 4: I was a fan of gel pens and I'm still
- 14:38Speaker 4: such a sucker for gel pens.
- 14:41Speaker 3: I live for a pen.
- 14:43Speaker 4: Where it just comes out so smooth the ink. Oh yes,
- 14:46Speaker 4: love love a gel pen.
- 14:48Speaker 1: Were you ever into those pens, by the way, where
- 14:50Speaker 1: they were multi colored on the back you could push
- 14:52Speaker 1: down like the green, the red, the black or the blue.
- 14:57Speaker 3: And do you remember those pens?
- 14:58Speaker 1: You too, And the idea about them was great, but
- 15:01Speaker 1: those pens stunk.
- 15:03Speaker 3: Yeah, the execution was an absolute fail.
- 15:06Speaker 4: However, in the Big twenty five, I need somebody, I
- 15:10Speaker 4: need you to come out with that pen again because
- 15:12Speaker 4: I feel like someone's gonna have the technology to make
- 15:15Speaker 4: that pen work. Right.
- 15:17Speaker 2: That's right. And just for clarification, that was bick b Ice.
- 15:27Speaker 3: I can show you.
- 15:28Speaker 2: It is Disney Princess Week.
- 15:31Speaker 1: We learned yesterday Angie's top three favorite Disney princesses. And
- 15:36Speaker 1: you know what, you can still be a princess without
- 15:40Speaker 1: a prince.
- 15:40Speaker 2: It's very doable.
- 15:41Speaker 1: You're strong, independent princesses, a princess lady.
- 15:45Speaker 2: Yeah whatever, I just tried to spit out there.
- 15:48Speaker 4: Yeah, you're a lady without prince. But you are still
- 15:51Speaker 4: a princess.
- 15:52Speaker 1: Yeah, we know you don't need a man to succeed.
- 15:55Speaker 1: You've already got everything in the bag. You're a bad bee,
- 15:58Speaker 1: you're successful, you're a strong independent woman. Now let's just
- 16:03Speaker 1: say the salsa jar is on a little tight and
- 16:05Speaker 1: you had to get yourself a prince, okay, would be
- 16:09Speaker 1: here top Disney Prince Angie. And you said there's only
- 16:14Speaker 1: one right answer because facial hair.
- 16:17Speaker 4: Yes, there's only one right answer. Facial hair, to me,
- 16:21Speaker 4: is very important in a man.
- 16:22Speaker 1: I think it's hot makeup for a dude, basically exactly.
- 16:27Speaker 3: Well, I don't like that. I like to know what
- 16:30Speaker 3: the clean shaven version looks like. Okay, that's right.
- 16:36Speaker 4: But here's the thing, if you look at it, none
- 16:39Speaker 4: of the Disney princes have facial hair. Aladdin, no Eric,
- 16:45Speaker 4: no Prince Charming from Cinderella time.
- 16:48Speaker 2: No clean shaven, clean shaven.
- 16:51Speaker 4: But there is one, and yes it is circumstantial, but
- 16:55Speaker 4: it counts Beast my Beauty and the beast Beast, Yes,
- 17:01Speaker 4: beast from Beauty.
- 17:02Speaker 3: And the Beast as a beast is so fine. I
- 17:06Speaker 3: thought you were so fine.
- 17:08Speaker 1: I thought you were gonna go with Milo. James Thatch
- 17:10Speaker 1: from Atlantis, the Lost Empire. No, I don't even know
- 17:14Speaker 1: who that is.
- 17:15Speaker 2: So the Beast huh because of the fur.
- 17:18Speaker 4: Yes, he looks so good and rugged and manly, and
- 17:22Speaker 4: obviously he can unscrew a pickle jar.
- 17:25Speaker 3: Like this man is so hot.
- 17:27Speaker 4: Now. The issue is his real name is not Beast,
- 17:31Speaker 4: it's Prince Adam. And when he turns back into Prince Adam,
- 17:35Speaker 4: you even see it in Bell's eyes.
- 17:37Speaker 1: She's like, oh man, oh man, he looks like a
- 17:40Speaker 1: sixteen year old boy.
- 17:41Speaker 3: Exactly clean. She even so I would just have to
- 17:46Speaker 3: request for.
- 17:46Speaker 4: That witch to come back, and I'd be like, hey,
- 17:50Speaker 4: can you put a curse on old Beast here again?
- 17:53Speaker 2: I need that facial hair.
- 17:55Speaker 3: But he's the one. He's the man for me.
- 17:57Speaker 1: Seven oh one two eight zero one nine eight seven.
- 18:00Speaker 1: And you just need someone to open up that pickle jar.
- 18:03Speaker 1: It happens to be a Disney prince. All right, who
- 18:06Speaker 1: are you going with? Let us know this morning on
- 18:08Speaker 1: Big ninety eight point seven. This good news is one
- 18:17Speaker 1: that I want to dedicate to every mom and dad
- 18:22Speaker 1: out there. You've had a wonderful summer. Your kids have
- 18:27Speaker 1: been around every day eating all the food in your kitchen.
- 18:33Speaker 1: Making a mess, hopefully helping clean up with the chores. Okay,
- 18:39Speaker 1: and you are now able to take a slight breath
- 18:44Speaker 1: of fresh air. I am not saying that you are
- 18:46Speaker 1: just jack that your kids are gone all day, but
- 18:48Speaker 1: I'm sure it's nice to be able to have a
- 18:52Speaker 1: little bit of breathing room, at least for a couple
- 18:55Speaker 1: of days before all the activities start and all the
- 18:58Speaker 1: sports and whatever. Congratulations to anyone who had their first
- 19:02Speaker 1: day of school today or is on their first way
- 19:04Speaker 1: or on the way to their first day of school.
- 19:06Speaker 1: A big shout out to mom and dad. You made
- 19:08Speaker 1: it through the summer. The kids were entertained, the kids
- 19:12Speaker 1: have finally got out of the house, and they are
- 19:14Speaker 1: back to a more regular scheduled programming. So I just
- 19:18Speaker 1: hope if you're a first day of school today, you
- 19:20Speaker 1: had a wonderful summer. If you're a mom or dad,
- 19:23Speaker 1: I hope your first day of school today allows you
- 19:25Speaker 1: to drink copious amounts of wine. But yeah, now, and
- 19:30Speaker 1: I guess four o'clock or three o'clock. When I was
- 19:32Speaker 1: a kid, my first day of school, my mother would
- 19:34Speaker 1: take off every single day of our first day of
- 19:37Speaker 1: school from kindergarten to when I was a senior in
- 19:39Speaker 1: high school. Really, now that I'm an adult and an
- 19:42Speaker 1: old man, I'm assuming right at about eight twenty one,
- 19:46Speaker 1: when the bus would pick us up, at about eight
- 19:49Speaker 1: thirty five, we were here the old wine corkdut and
- 19:53Speaker 1: no wonder she was always sleeping by the time I
- 19:55Speaker 1: got home from school. Right, the world is full of
- 19:59Speaker 1: nice people. If you can't find one, you gotta be one.
- 20:02Speaker 1: I hope you have a great first day of class.
