- 1:36Speaker 2: and C Bank Brilliantly Boring since eighteen sixty five. Brilliantly

- 1:51Speaker 3: First, I want to talk about Apple, Yes, my baby.
- 1:55Speaker 3: Apple announces. Last week they announced the largest style buy
- 2:00Speaker 3: back ever one hundred and ten billion dollars, and that's
- 2:04Speaker 3: despite iPhone sales dropping ten percent, stock going up around
- 2:09Speaker 3: six percent. Booster kind of settled after that, but it's yeah,
- 2:16Speaker 3: it's it's you know, kind of moving in the right direction.
- 2:18Speaker 3: If you look at this one month chart right back
- 2:22Speaker 3: covering around one hundred and eighty fifty two weeks high
- 2:26Speaker 3: was one hundred and ninety nine. So is this does
- 2:30Speaker 3: this signal that Apple is back? On track.
- 2:34Speaker 2: Okay, man, well did we just put a mask on
- 2:38Speaker 2: this thing?
- 2:40Speaker 1: I think that it was a good move. This is
- 2:42Speaker 1: the theme of this week. Good move, but not good enough.
- 2:45Speaker 1: I like to buy back what I would have loved
- 2:47Speaker 1: to have seen new phone or planned for a new phone.
- 2:52Speaker 1: To buy back the shares great. Great for investors to
- 2:56Speaker 1: signal that, hey, I still believe in my own company,
- 2:58Speaker 1: believe in my stock right. The core issue though, of
- 3:02Speaker 1: the phone sales not being strong, it's not fixed, so
- 3:05Speaker 1: you're putting like duct tape over an ocean leak. I
- 3:12Speaker 1: like it. The stock one up as a result, I'm
- 3:14Speaker 1: still bullish on it long term, but until that core
- 3:17Speaker 1: issue it's fixed, I'm not hyper bullish on it. How
- 3:24Speaker 1: I want to be same like with the Drake thing.
- 3:26Speaker 1: I want to be like, Yo, Drake did it. Family
- 3:28Speaker 1: Matters was good. That was the buy back. It was cool,
- 3:32Speaker 1: it was not great. I think the biggest lesson that
- 3:34Speaker 1: we're learning from this and Starbucks. We talk about Disney later.
- 3:37Speaker 1: You have to have products and services that are so
- 3:40Speaker 1: amazing that your customer base cannot afford to not have them.
- 3:43Speaker 1: Same would invest Fest. They haven't told me who the
- 3:46Speaker 1: headline is going to be I can probably guess. But
- 3:49Speaker 1: where else are you going to see these people in
- 3:50Speaker 1: our community talk about how they're actually building their businesses.
- 3:53Speaker 1: They've had billionaires every year. I'm assuming somebody off the billionaire.
- 3:57Speaker 1: This is going to be there this year. Right, So
- 4:00Speaker 1: I think Apple got comfortable. I know they're doing things
- 4:03Speaker 1: with AI. I know Siri will be updated. This is
- 4:05Speaker 1: what the ten year anniversary of that being acquired. Great acquisition.
- 4:10Speaker 1: But until they fix this and make this better, I
- 4:15Speaker 1: think it's a band aid over a cut that really
- 4:17Speaker 1: needs surgery. But what do you guys think?
- 4:20Speaker 2: I think it's interesting. I'm with you on on on
- 4:22Speaker 2: your take. I think the move may have been a
- 4:25Speaker 2: little bit predictable. I would imagine if they didn't do
- 4:28Speaker 2: the buy back, and if they didn't increase the giving in,
- 4:32Speaker 2: what would the stock have done?
- 4:35Speaker 1: Oh Nelly going down down baby, right?
- 4:39Speaker 2: And So if I know that's gonna if I I
- 4:41Speaker 2: already have the numbers, I know that the iPhone sales
- 4:44Speaker 2: are down. I know services well okay, MacBook was okay,
- 4:47Speaker 2: iPad was Yeah. If I know that's coming, how do
- 4:52Speaker 2: I get ahead of it? How do I get ahead
- 4:54Speaker 2: of it? I have to do something that's going to
- 4:57Speaker 2: have my shareholders feel confident in the company going forward.
- 5:00Speaker 2: We haven't really talked about AI yet. Everybody's waiting for
- 5:03Speaker 2: June seventh. We're not ready to talk about or give
- 5:06Speaker 2: you any Well, he did say on the phone call
- 5:09Speaker 2: that they're making leadways in that in that area of
- 5:12Speaker 2: artificial intelligence. But the anticipation of a down quarter again
- 5:19Speaker 2: declining sales in the iPhone, I think it was particularly Yeah,
- 5:22Speaker 2: they had to do something.
- 5:24Speaker 1: They had.
- 5:25Speaker 2: They bought back shares, which obviously increases the uh, the
- 5:29Speaker 2: value of the remaining shares They're going to go up.
- 5:31Speaker 2: So yeah, it did go up over one eighty. I'm
- 5:34Speaker 2: interested to see what comes in June. Man, I'm not
- 5:37Speaker 2: I'm always going to be well, I'm not sure to
- 5:38Speaker 2: say always. I'm definitely bullish on Apple. I'm just interested
- 5:43Speaker 2: in what is going to happen. I think there's a
- 5:45Speaker 2: I feel like when we watched in video report after
- 5:48Speaker 2: they had that blowout quarter and it felt like, oh
- 5:50Speaker 2: my gosh, can they do it again? Can they do
- 5:52Speaker 2: it again? That build up of let's see if they
- 5:53Speaker 2: can do it. I feel like that type of atmosphere,
- 5:57Speaker 2: that type of temperature around this this June seventh announcement
- 6:01Speaker 2: is brewing. What is it going to be, how innovative
- 6:04Speaker 2: is it going to be, and where is it going
- 6:06Speaker 2: to in the future for the company. So I'm watching
- 6:11Speaker 2: it closely. I'm watching it closely. I'm looking forward to
- 6:13Speaker 2: I'm looking for TV's, I'm looking for something, even the hints.
- 6:17Speaker 2: You know, sometimes they start releasing things early. You go
- 6:19Speaker 2: to these mac these websites or these OPhone websites. Yeah,
- 6:23Speaker 2: some like preview or details that got hacked and leaked.
- 6:27Speaker 2: I haven't seen anything yet, but I'm anticipating this and
- 6:30Speaker 2: I'm sure they are as well.
- 6:32Speaker 1: Even a five percent jump for the stock, that's too
- 6:35Speaker 1: aggressive of a move for a multi trillion dollar company.
- 6:38Speaker 1: Even today, it's pulling back some as a result. It
- 6:41Speaker 1: should pull back to maybe one seventy two as a result.
- 6:46Speaker 1: I still love the stock long term. I'm just not
- 6:50Speaker 1: super bullish about it. If it gets back to one
- 6:53Speaker 1: sixty four, it's definitely a by a yad. But they
- 6:55Speaker 1: have to make a strong announcement in June, like I
- 6:59Speaker 1: haven't seen Mark Well, I'll talk about anything like the
- 7:03Speaker 1: tech influencers do you have to create? And I think
- 7:06Speaker 1: they're going through the same moment that Zuckerberg went through
- 7:08Speaker 1: in twenty twenty two, where like your back ends against
- 7:10Speaker 1: the wall, you have to reshift focus on what matters most.
- 7:14Speaker 1: I think they're trying to scramble and figure things out now.
- 7:16Speaker 1: I think they'll they'll get it together about next year.
- 7:18Speaker 1: But the summer is gonna be interesting for them, to
- 7:21Speaker 1: say the least, because even Apple fanboys are tired of
- 7:25Speaker 1: the same phone. Like, you know, it's bad when your
- 7:26Speaker 1: core audience is like, no, I'm gonna stay with the twelve,
- 7:31Speaker 1: I'm gonna stay with the thirteen.
- 7:33Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 7:33Speaker 2: And they were talking about the ad business. They were
- 7:35Speaker 2: talking about the revenue from that. But when you think
- 7:37Speaker 2: about it, we spoke about Google maybe a week ago,
- 7:40Speaker 2: two weeks ago. Most of that money is coming from Google.
- 7:43Speaker 1: Yep.
- 7:43Speaker 2: So you're talking about a billion dollar transaction that they're
- 7:46Speaker 2: gonna have or they're gonna split between four quarters. They're all,
- 7:49Speaker 2: that's good, that's gonna be reliant in there. But if
- 7:52Speaker 2: this anti trusting doesn't go through, then what happens.
- 7:55Speaker 1: Yeah, they're bringing Super Mario Brothers back to the app store,
- 7:58Speaker 1: won't do it?
- 7:59Speaker 2: Yeah, I think that's going to do it. So, Yeah,
- 8:02Speaker 2: I mean, I'm looking right here at the Baron's article.
- 8:04Speaker 2: Is it literally says buy Apple ahead of its AI
- 8:07Speaker 2: news at developers conference. Everybody's waiting. Everybody's waiting in the
- 8:11Speaker 2: analysts to waiting too, So I guess we'll be waiting
- 8:13Speaker 2: as well.
- 8:14Speaker 1: And the AI improvement has to be integrated into Syria.
- 8:17Speaker 1: If they just do moderate AI into and then should
- 8:22Speaker 1: GPT five's coming out soon. You have some serious competitors
- 8:26Speaker 1: right now as well.
- 8:26Speaker 2: It is now an app. It's no longer just on
- 8:28Speaker 2: the desk stode. Now you have the app yepthropic is there?
- 8:32Speaker 2: So what product do you think they need to move
- 8:35Speaker 2: the needle? They can't keep re rocking the same product
- 8:38Speaker 2: over and over again. Yeah, oh, let me think on
- 8:44Speaker 2: that one. Let me think on that one.
- 8:47Speaker 1: And I'm lucky. I don't want to East to Egg.
- 8:51Speaker 1: Nothing but the idea that they have for the stocks.
- 8:53Speaker 1: They should have invested in that too and not put
- 8:56Speaker 1: that to the side. They messed up on a car project.
- 8:58Speaker 1: Put the stock app to the ybro. We gotta think
- 9:02Speaker 1: these things through.
- 9:03Speaker 4: An illegal alien from Guatemala charged with raping a child
- 9:07Speaker 4: in Massachusetts. An MS thirteen gang member from al Salvador
- 9:11Speaker 4: accused of murdering a Texas man of Venezuelan charged with
- 9:15Speaker 4: filming and selling child pornography in Michigan. These are just
- 9:19Speaker 4: some of the heinous migrant criminals caught because of President
- 9:23Speaker 4: Donald J. Trump's leadership. I'm Christy nom the United States
- 9:27Speaker 4: Secretary of Homeland Security. Under President Trump, attempted illegal border
- 9:31Speaker 4: crossings are at the lowest levels ever recorded, and over
- 9:35Speaker 4: one hundred thousand illegal aliens have been arrested. If you
- 9:38Speaker 4: are here illegally, your next you will be fine nearly
- 9:42Speaker 4: one thousand dollars a day, imprisoned and deported. You will
- 9:46Speaker 4: never return. But if you register using our CBP home
- 9:50Speaker 4: app and leave now, you could be allowed to return legally.
- 9:54Speaker 4: Do what's right. Leave now. Under President Trump, America's laws,
- 9:59Speaker 4: border and f families will be protected. Sponsored by the
- 10:02Speaker 4: United States Department of Homeland Security.
