- 0:04Speaker 2: Man, fantastic, Alam, thanks for joining us today.
- 0:06Speaker 3: Brother, thank you for having me my pleasure?
- 0:09Speaker 2: I say is you saybro?
- 0:10Speaker 4: Wind Waker have been announced as part of the Good
- 0:12Speaker 4: Things Festival twenty twenty five lineup, which will be held
- 0:15Speaker 4: over three consecutive days in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane from
- 0:18Speaker 4: December five to seven.
- 0:19Speaker 2: So Percy, congratulations and Bob deserved.
- 0:22Speaker 3: Thank you very much. Yeah, very excited.
- 0:25Speaker 2: Right.
- 0:25Speaker 4: So you guys aren't strangers to play in massive festivals
- 0:28Speaker 4: made haven't smashed it a download night and Day Unify?
- 0:31Speaker 4: You've been a Good Things before, But I bet you
- 0:33Speaker 4: never get sick of seeing the name wind Waker on
- 0:36Speaker 4: those posters.
- 0:37Speaker 1: No, I want to see it more often. That would
- 0:39Speaker 1: be that'll be sick. No, I'm so stoked to be
- 0:42Speaker 1: far of this lineup. Like like you said, we've played
- 0:45Speaker 1: Good Things once before, but I think this is probably
- 0:48Speaker 1: my favorite lineup of theirs that they've put together. And
- 0:51Speaker 1: that's not just because I'm on it, but it's just
- 0:53Speaker 1: I think it's just a great round of bands.
- 0:56Speaker 2: It isn't and any other things like that.
- 0:58Speaker 4: Man, like you got all these assive internationals there, like
- 1:01Speaker 4: and there's a few OUSSI bands which will gets you later,
- 1:03Speaker 4: but it's like a gang mentality backstage's like US Australian
- 1:06Speaker 4: bands and you know we can do this.
- 1:09Speaker 1: I mean it can it can be, but it's it's
- 1:11Speaker 1: all like it it's banned by you know, case by
- 1:13Speaker 1: case with with every band. You know, like some some
- 1:17Speaker 1: are like they keep to themselves and they kind of
- 1:19Speaker 1: just like do their own thing, and then there's others
- 1:21Speaker 1: that are like you know, that are very friendly and
- 1:24Speaker 1: they're like, oh hey, you know, like you you playing
- 1:27Speaker 1: with and you know, like it's it's always it's always different,
- 1:30Speaker 1: Like I think the artist areas where like a lot
- 1:33Speaker 1: of the mingling happens like when you sort of backstage
- 1:36Speaker 1: as such. It's like it's definitely like everyone's just like
- 1:38Speaker 1: kind of security guards for their gear and they're just
- 1:40Speaker 1: kind of just like just staunching everybody. But like for
- 1:43Speaker 1: the most part, yeah, everyone's like really nice. But you're right,
- 1:46Speaker 1: like the Aussies like gravitate to the other Aussies. Like
- 1:50Speaker 1: it's just I think it's just a bit of a
- 1:52Speaker 1: natural thing that happens.
- 1:53Speaker 4: I think now you mentioned the line up before made,
- 1:56Speaker 4: and it's a diverse and eclectic line up. You got
- 1:59Speaker 4: everyone from Chill we Yous, did a Garbage Machine, hand Lord,
- 2:02Speaker 4: and Shore Refused day Seeker. Who are you most looking
- 2:05Speaker 4: forward to to playing with him? To see him live?
- 2:07Speaker 3: I'm most looking forward to Refused.
- 2:11Speaker 1: It's They're my one of my favorite bands of all time,
- 2:14Speaker 1: a massive influence on myself and you know, my musical upbringing.
- 2:21Speaker 1: I think they have one of the greatest albums of
- 2:23Speaker 1: all time, probably two of the greatest albums of all time.
- 2:26Speaker 1: And yeah, I've never gotten to see them live, so
- 2:28Speaker 1: this will be my first opportunity getting to like witness
- 2:31Speaker 1: it in the flesh. But yeah, I'm really looking forward to,
- 2:36Speaker 1: you know, seeing like mates and make them suffer. Yeah,
- 2:41Speaker 1: you mentioned a few of them, like day Seeker.
- 2:42Speaker 3: Is a great band, you know I'm really looking for.
- 2:47Speaker 1: I've seen tool Ones and that was about fifteen years
- 2:50Speaker 1: ago at Big Day Out, so I'm really excited to
- 2:54Speaker 1: see them again.
- 2:56Speaker 3: Weezer have also been a you know, an influence, you.
- 3:01Speaker 1: Know, maybe not necessarily with wind Waker, but like I've
- 3:04Speaker 1: you know, I've loved Weezer growing up.
- 3:07Speaker 3: Same with Garbage as well, even you know what like
- 3:12Speaker 3: a bit of a curveball one.
- 3:13Speaker 1: Like but James Rain's got like so many great songs
- 3:16Speaker 1: and I feel like he's like a bit of an
- 3:18Speaker 1: oddity in the lineup. But also like I don't know,
- 3:22Speaker 1: there's always been like that one band that's like you know,
- 3:24Speaker 1: like I think it was Boom Crash Off for last
- 3:26Speaker 1: year or the year before, you know, like Devo, Like
- 3:30Speaker 1: I've I was so stoked on Devo the other like
- 3:32Speaker 1: I think it.
- 3:32Speaker 3: Was last year or maybe the year before. Yeah, Like
- 3:36Speaker 3: it's it's.
- 3:36Speaker 4: Good to see like bands that people I'll say people
- 3:39Speaker 4: like us, but I don't mean they're negatively, but that
- 3:41Speaker 4: we never really go and see.
- 3:43Speaker 2: But when they're on a lineup that you're at, you
- 3:45Speaker 2: love seeing him.
- 3:45Speaker 1: Yeah, absolutely, But yeah I could listen like half like
- 3:48Speaker 1: half the like more than half of the lineup, you know,
- 3:51Speaker 1: Like I'm excited to see Lorna Shoram's excited to see
- 3:54Speaker 1: Knocked Loose. Yeah, I don't know, there's lots of there's
- 3:57Speaker 1: lots of bands, and yeah, it's it's kind of multi generational,
- 4:00Speaker 1: like it's it's diverse in age and in style, like
- 4:04Speaker 1: it's it's great, they've.
- 4:06Speaker 2: Nailed it completely.
- 4:07Speaker 4: And it's great to see so many Australian bands too,
- 4:09Speaker 4: like we got yourselves make them suffer tonight A live
- 4:12Speaker 4: Zibi canursa yours truly and mister James Raine himself like it.
- 4:16Speaker 4: It proves that obviously you can mix it with bands
- 4:18Speaker 4: from anywhere in the world, doesn't it.
- 4:20Speaker 3: Absolutely.
- 4:21Speaker 1: I mean we're definitely regarded as like one of like
- 4:25Speaker 1: the best sort of musical exports or like in the world.
- 4:30Speaker 3: You know, like it's people overseas are like what is
- 4:33Speaker 3: in the water.
- 4:33Speaker 1: They're like I always hear it all the time when
- 4:35Speaker 1: we're over there, you know, like why you know they
- 4:37Speaker 1: cook up metals so differently over in Australia, Like it's
- 4:40Speaker 1: just like it seems to be a thing. So I
- 4:42Speaker 1: mean it's good that we can stand up against some
- 4:45Speaker 1: internationals as well.
- 4:47Speaker 4: Yeah, and then we mentioned that diversit in the lineup, right,
- 4:49Speaker 4: Like person from a personal point of view, like would
- 4:51Speaker 4: you rather go to a festival with a lineup that
- 4:53Speaker 4: spans the multiverse of genres or would you prefer one
- 4:55Speaker 4: with a more common musical thread.
- 4:58Speaker 1: I personally prefer mixed, but I think that that just personally,
- 5:04Speaker 1: you know, tickles my brain in the right way. I like,
- 5:06Speaker 1: I have a very broad taste in music India, in
- 5:11Speaker 1: my band would probably say the broadest taste in music.
- 5:13Speaker 1: Like I just like it's very diverse. So I like
- 5:17Speaker 1: that there's this sort of something for everybody. I can
- 5:20Speaker 1: understand the ethos of like, oh, yeah, I know, I
- 5:23Speaker 1: want to see you know, nine hours of like technical
- 5:27Speaker 1: death metal and that's it, But like, I don't know,
- 5:31Speaker 1: for me, like I like that it kind of mixes
- 5:33Speaker 1: like a wide range of emotions, you know, like there's
- 5:36Speaker 1: so many festivals that do that, and you know, in
- 5:39Speaker 1: the in the world, not just in Australia, And I
- 5:41Speaker 1: think that, like it's great that we have something like
- 5:43Speaker 1: good things to do that at least for you know,
- 5:47Speaker 1: the alternative genres, because there are so many different like
- 5:50Speaker 1: styles in alternative.
- 5:52Speaker 4: So yeah, let's face it, like we both love our
- 5:55Speaker 4: metal made but nine hours are the same sort of shit.
- 5:57Speaker 2: You get a headache after a while.
- 6:00Speaker 3: It's exhausting and I love it, but yeah, you're gonna be.
- 6:07Speaker 2: A long day for everyone going.
- 6:08Speaker 4: Like, as a seasoned festival veteran now as you are,
- 6:11Speaker 4: what would your top three survival chips be for punters.
- 6:15Speaker 3: Drink a hell of a lot of water. I no
- 6:18Speaker 3: beer is good. I love beer, but drink some water please.
- 6:24Speaker 1: Another one that's just like a just a general philosophy,
- 6:28Speaker 1: not just at festivals but in life. Is just like that,
- 6:30Speaker 1: this space is for everybody, so like, treat people how
- 6:34Speaker 1: you want to be treated.
- 6:34Speaker 3: It's like, I know it's a cliche, but it's like
- 6:36Speaker 3: it's just true. And then the third thing.
- 6:40Speaker 1: Because it's going to be December, I would say like
- 6:42Speaker 1: hat and sunscreen is probably like the other, like just like.
- 6:47Speaker 3: Essential like must fit do thing, and.
- 6:51Speaker 1: Everyone forgets, like everyone forgets like the sunscreen thing. And
- 6:55Speaker 1: I see so many lobsters in the crowd.
- 6:57Speaker 3: It's crazy.
- 6:58Speaker 2: They're having a ball of the night. But you just
- 7:00Speaker 2: know the next day they're going to be heard.
- 7:01Speaker 3: Oh it's going to be in pain.
- 7:04Speaker 2: Now.
- 7:05Speaker 4: One of the beautiful things with festivals is getting to
- 7:07Speaker 4: see the chance to see bands that you might otherwise
- 7:09Speaker 4: not watch.
- 7:10Speaker 2: Say someone's going.
- 7:11Speaker 4: To Good Things and they don't know too much about Windwaker,
- 7:13Speaker 4: What three songs of yours should they listen to?
- 7:15Speaker 2: You get to know the band better well.
- 7:17Speaker 3: Victory Lap is a good one.
- 7:19Speaker 1: I feel like that's a good indicator of where you know,
- 7:23Speaker 1: things are kind of going, and it's a good like
- 7:26Speaker 1: sort of resume of like, all right, we can do this,
- 7:29Speaker 1: we can do this, we can do this.
- 7:31Speaker 3: So that's that would be one.
- 7:33Speaker 1: If you want to sort of see how like fun,
- 7:36Speaker 1: light and kind of poppy that we can go, probably
- 7:40Speaker 1: something like break the Rules would.
- 7:41Speaker 3: Be a good one.
- 7:43Speaker 1: And then I would say if you're more into like
- 7:48Speaker 1: the heavy kind of side of things, then you.
- 7:51Speaker 3: I would probably recommend like a song like the Wall.
- 7:55Speaker 1: Those would probably be my like three sort of spec
- 8:00Speaker 1: drum you know, like the extremes of the two.
- 8:02Speaker 3: You know that those would probably be the two things.
- 8:05Speaker 4: What are we going to get from you with Good
- 8:07Speaker 4: Things made Like you're going to concentrate on justin metal stuff.
- 8:09Speaker 4: You're going to mix the poplar elements in because it's
- 8:11Speaker 4: a diverse lineup.
- 8:13Speaker 1: We're still I think we're still discussing what the setlist
- 8:16Speaker 1: looks like for Good Things, But all I.
- 8:19Speaker 3: Know is that I want to keep the energy really high.
- 8:23Speaker 1: So it's not like we're going to be playing like
- 8:25Speaker 1: any ballads or anything like that. I think we've got
- 8:27Speaker 1: to keep like the energy up, and I think it'll
- 8:31Speaker 1: be I think it'll be a good representation, a good
- 8:35Speaker 1: like spread of like what we do. We we always
- 8:39Speaker 1: try to like think about what it would be like
- 8:42Speaker 1: for someone that's seeing us for the first time and
- 8:44Speaker 1: trying to showcase and represent ourselves in like an accurate way,
- 8:49Speaker 1: so not trying to be too metal, but not trying.
- 8:52Speaker 3: To be too pop.
- 8:53Speaker 1: And yeah, I think we'll find a nice happy middle ground.
- 8:57Speaker 2: It's not easy, but it's it's not easy.
- 9:00Speaker 3: No, it's not easy when you've got so many great songs.
- 9:02Speaker 4: You know, you've been a massive eighteen months to win
- 9:07Speaker 4: Waker made. It started with the release of Hyper Violent
- 9:09Speaker 4: Sluts July. So how was your action to that? Like
- 9:12Speaker 4: was it what you were hoping for.
- 9:14Speaker 3: That from the album?
- 9:16Speaker 1: And I think it exceeded our expectations, you know, like
- 9:21Speaker 1: not that I don't think we're ever expecting it to
- 9:23Speaker 1: like not do well in any sense, but like it's
- 9:27Speaker 1: I think we didn't know what to expect, to be honest,
- 9:30Speaker 1: because it was like the first album with me as
- 9:34Speaker 1: the front man, and you know, like I think we
- 9:37Speaker 1: could we there was like an indicator of like it
- 9:40Speaker 1: doing well with based on like the singles or whatnot.
- 9:42Speaker 1: But like, I don't think we could have ever imagined
- 9:44Speaker 1: that it was going to like launch, you know, do
- 9:48Speaker 1: the numbers that it was doing, like, I don't think
- 9:50Speaker 1: it was gonna like it's definitely exceeded expectations to put it,
- 9:54Speaker 1: put it like quite, you know, concisely. It's it's been
- 9:57Speaker 1: a great it's been great ride so far, and I'm
- 10:00Speaker 1: hoping to kind of continue that trajectory.
- 10:02Speaker 3: I think I.
- 10:03Speaker 2: Think you should, Mate, I think you should. Now.
- 10:04Speaker 4: You follow that up with hyper Violence Expansion Pack, which
- 10:07Speaker 4: was basically a deluxe version of Hyper Violence with three
- 10:10Speaker 4: new songs and some special surprises.
- 10:12Speaker 2: I remember chatting VideA before that came out and.
- 10:14Speaker 4: Asked any what those special surprises were, and you point
- 10:16Speaker 4: blank refused, tell me, now it's out, what what are
- 10:20Speaker 4: the surprises on it?
- 10:22Speaker 1: So, I mean, yeah, the fact that there was some
- 10:25Speaker 1: three three new songs, and we collabed with a French
- 10:30Speaker 1: band called The Sunday Sadness who we've we kind of
- 10:33Speaker 1: did like a bit of a song swap remix type
- 10:37Speaker 1: of thing where you know, we had we we I
- 10:42Speaker 1: appeared on their song would You Be My Therapy? And
- 10:44Speaker 1: then they appeared on on our song.
- 10:46Speaker 3: Sirens, which was cool.
- 10:49Speaker 1: It was a nice It was a great experience and
- 10:51Speaker 1: we've kind of developed a great relationship with them as
- 10:54Speaker 1: far as like collaborating goes. And yeah, I think I
- 10:58Speaker 1: think that was just getting I guess the deluxe out was.
- 11:04Speaker 4: Yeah, probably, So you weren't lying when you said there
- 11:06Speaker 4: wasn't anything much you could tell in between that there
- 11:12Speaker 4: was a trip to the Opera Awards too, where you
- 11:14Speaker 4: unfortunately missed out on the chocolates.
- 11:15Speaker 2: But how was the experience made? Like? It was pretty
- 11:18Speaker 2: cool from it.
- 11:19Speaker 3: Yeah, I got to drink beers with you.
- 11:21Speaker 2: We got to get tipsy.
- 11:24Speaker 3: Yeah, no, it was.
- 11:25Speaker 1: It was a great experience and like you know, I
- 11:27Speaker 1: loved everyone at our table and kind of getting to
- 11:30Speaker 1: watch it was a first little first taste of like.
- 11:33Speaker 3: An awards ceremony for in music.
- 11:35Speaker 1: So it was you know, you know, nice to get
- 11:39Speaker 1: dressed up and you know, go to Melbourne Town Hall
- 11:42Speaker 1: and and just be amongst sort of like you know
- 11:45Speaker 1: what some of Australia's finests, you know that music has
- 11:48Speaker 1: to offer.
- 11:49Speaker 2: So you scribbed up pretty good to maybe so you
- 11:51Speaker 2: look all.
- 11:52Speaker 3: Right, thank you very much. You know, I try I
- 11:54Speaker 3: try you did well.
- 11:56Speaker 4: You touched on this before, but just last Friday you
- 11:58Speaker 4: dropped your new song, Victory Laps. It's an absolutely banging
- 12:01Speaker 4: made I was telling you earlier, but to tell us
- 12:02Speaker 4: more about that song musically and what your regard for
- 12:05Speaker 4: on this one.
- 12:06Speaker 3: Yeah, it was for musically.
- 12:09Speaker 1: I think we were kind of going for something that was,
- 12:13Speaker 1: you know, unapologetic and you know, anthemic and epic sounding.
- 12:20Speaker 3: Like I remember when we were when I was developing.
- 12:22Speaker 1: The like the demo idea that I would bring eventually
- 12:25Speaker 1: bring to the guys, Like I started off with that
- 12:28Speaker 1: that chant that sort of appears all throughout the song,
- 12:31Speaker 1: but at the start of the song in particular, and
- 12:34Speaker 1: it just kind of to me sounded like, I don't know,
- 12:37Speaker 1: like like a FIFA video game, you know, like World
- 12:41Speaker 1: Cup soccer stadium type of thing. And yeah, normally we
- 12:47Speaker 1: have like these working titles that are like really stupid
- 12:51Speaker 1: in win Waker, like that never ended up seeing never
- 12:53Speaker 1: end up seeing the light light of day.
- 12:56Speaker 3: But for some reason, I had just written Victory.
- 12:58Speaker 1: Lap in the demo, like in the session, That's what
- 13:02Speaker 1: I saved the song as and we never changed the title.
- 13:04Speaker 1: I think it just kind of fit the overall attitude
- 13:08Speaker 1: of the song. So yeah, what we will, Yeah, I
- 13:12Speaker 1: think like it's a bit of like a it showcases
- 13:15Speaker 1: what we do, like you know, in a broad sense,
- 13:19Speaker 1: but I think like in the sort of intricate details
- 13:22Speaker 1: of it, it's it's.
- 13:23Speaker 3: Very new sounding. It's a bit of a departure r
- 13:26Speaker 3: I mek.
- 13:27Speaker 1: You know that there's kind of more industrial kind of
- 13:30Speaker 1: elements to it. It's like it's just like these booming drums.
- 13:34Speaker 1: It kind of unintentionally reminds me of like you know,
- 13:38Speaker 1: like something like song Too by Blur. You know, it's
- 13:42Speaker 1: kind of just got that feeling to me. But then also, yeah,
- 13:46Speaker 1: it just has like this really like kind of I
- 13:49Speaker 1: don't know, poppy kind of chorus. It's like, I know,
- 13:52Speaker 1: like when we were recording the vocals, particularly for like
- 13:54Speaker 1: the second verse, like we're kind of like going to
- 13:56Speaker 1: like a bit of a Bruno Mars kind of thing.
- 13:58Speaker 3: I know, it was just it's like I think we
- 14:01Speaker 3: just kind of threw everything.
- 14:02Speaker 1: We had at it, wanted to make like the heaviest
- 14:04Speaker 1: break like like even when we approached the breakdown for
- 14:07Speaker 1: this for that song, like in the past, I think
- 14:11Speaker 1: we've kind of like not really like tried to build
- 14:14Speaker 1: things up.
- 14:17Speaker 3: Like and structure a breakdown. This time, we.
- 14:19Speaker 1: Actually like put a lot more thought into it, you know,
- 14:22Speaker 1: even like I spent so much time on like that
- 14:25Speaker 1: little like bridge section that kind of made this like
- 14:27Speaker 1: almost like Batman cinematic moment where it's like kind of
- 14:30Speaker 1: got these strings and choirs and stuff like that. Like
- 14:33Speaker 1: I really like I really wanted to like kind of
- 14:35Speaker 1: throw everything out we had it this song and just
- 14:37Speaker 1: kind of you know, make it, make it a statement
- 14:41Speaker 1: of authority and and you know not being you know,
- 14:44Speaker 1: being unapologetic.
- 14:45Speaker 3: So yeah, that's probably all we're going for with Victory Lab.
- 14:49Speaker 2: The music video is spectacularly.
- 14:51Speaker 4: There's army helicopters, there's war zones and battles, his night
- 14:54Speaker 4: vision goggles action all the way through.
- 14:56Speaker 2: Like how did you get the budget for that?
- 14:58Speaker 3: Bro?
- 15:00Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 15:02Speaker 1: I have to say like Colin Colin Jeffs, who directed
- 15:07Speaker 1: the clip, he's he's an absolute madman.
- 15:10Speaker 3: Like I.
- 15:13Speaker 1: Like, he definitely like took a bit of a cut
- 15:16Speaker 1: on his on his normal fee because he just like
- 15:20Speaker 1: he heard the track. He had some of these ideas
- 15:23Speaker 1: and he's just like I think this is the song
- 15:25Speaker 1: to make it happen, and yeah, we just we just
- 15:29Speaker 1: like it's like with the music, kind of just through
- 15:31Speaker 1: everything we had at it. I had like some references
- 15:33Speaker 1: of what I wanted it to look like, but as
- 15:36Speaker 1: far as like what it actually entailed, you know, as
- 15:39Speaker 1: far as getting like a troop carrier and a helicopter
- 15:42Speaker 1: and swat team and stuff involved, like that was just
- 15:45Speaker 1: letting Colin off the leash and kind of making him
- 15:49Speaker 1: just become a bit of a madman. Yeah, I think
- 15:52Speaker 1: he went a little nuts on the It's.
- 15:54Speaker 2: One of the best music videos I've ever seen.
- 15:57Speaker 3: It's a Hollywood blockbuster. In three and a half minutes,
- 16:00Speaker 3: here's mat.
- 16:00Speaker 4: I'm on wait for the sequel, either Big Thing or
- 16:06Speaker 4: win Wake Affairs want to know, though, ro is it
- 16:07Speaker 4: a stand alone single or the start of the new chapter?
- 16:11Speaker 1: I think I can probably say it's the start of
- 16:13Speaker 1: a new chapter. I don't think it's going to be
- 16:15Speaker 1: a standalone single by any means. We're working on We've
- 16:19Speaker 1: been working on new music for for a little while.
- 16:22Speaker 1: I don't think it's gonna like we're not ready to
- 16:24Speaker 1: like announce like an album or anything like that. But
- 16:28Speaker 1: but yeah, I think we've got like quite a bit
- 16:29Speaker 1: of new music built up that we're really excited to
- 16:33Speaker 1: share with everybody, So you know, hopefully it's sooner rather
- 16:35Speaker 1: than later, but probably you know, we'll probably more talk
- 16:40Speaker 1: talk about it more next year, I suppose while we're
- 16:43Speaker 1: clearer mac review of it all.
- 16:46Speaker 4: No, can I ask, so, is that because it is
- 16:48Speaker 4: a little bit different for you guys in terms of sound,
- 16:51Speaker 4: is that indicative of the direction the new music is
- 16:53Speaker 4: going to go?
- 16:56Speaker 1: Yes and no, Like, I know that's like such an
- 16:57Speaker 1: annoying answer, but like it's sort of like I mean,
- 17:00Speaker 1: with win Waki, you kind of never know. And I
- 17:04Speaker 1: think I think it's indicative of in the sense of,
- 17:07Speaker 1: like us being more focused, more deliberate, more sure of ourselves.
- 17:15Speaker 1: I think it's like maybe not necessarily sonically, although I
- 17:18Speaker 1: think the attitude you might find in other songs, but
- 17:23Speaker 1: I think I think it could be like a.
- 17:26Speaker 3: Bit of an anomaly in itself.
- 17:27Speaker 1: But also I think there's elements of it that we
- 17:30Speaker 1: are bringing, Like I feel like it is a bit
- 17:32Speaker 1: of a centerpiece for what we're exploring. But the other
- 17:35Speaker 1: songs don't necessarily sound like Victory Lap.
- 17:38Speaker 3: We just we're going for big we're going for.
- 17:42Speaker 1: Yeah, like I said, like really sure and deliberate and purposeful,
- 17:46Speaker 1: like I want to say something, you know, and not
- 17:49Speaker 1: be so like self exploratory like we were on hyper violence.
- 17:54Speaker 1: I think this is like more of there's more messaging
- 17:57Speaker 1: going on this. Yeah, I don't know that I could.
- 17:59Speaker 4: Go on anyone ever charge you the master of saying
- 18:02Speaker 4: a lot and saying nothing at the same time.
- 18:04Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm a politician for sure.
- 18:06Speaker 2: I'm able. Thanks for your time today Live. It's been
- 18:08Speaker 2: a place to speak with you.

- 18:12Speaker 4: this December. Pet yourself tickets because they're going to sell
- 18:14Speaker 4: out quick, and I'll see you at the bar.
