- 1:36Speaker 4: I'm speaking extra loud so I could overcome that.
- 1:40Speaker 2: Well, I'm sorry for pointing it out. Walked in yep, well,
- 1:47Speaker 2: actually outside saw you outside.
- 1:51Speaker 3: I called you.
- 1:52Speaker 4: I said, what's up, dude, which is fine.
- 1:55Speaker 2: Well, I think it was weird until you were like
- 1:57Speaker 2: I called you dude earlier.
- 1:58Speaker 3: Yeah, I saw you in the on the stairs and
- 2:00Speaker 3: I was like, hey, I just called you dude. That
- 2:01Speaker 3: was really weird. My bad.
- 2:04Speaker 2: I was like, dude, is fine. I prefer play, Uh, yep,
- 2:07Speaker 2: because that's what I am.
- 2:08Speaker 4: Yeah, I call you play every morning. I just it
- 2:11Speaker 4: was early.
- 2:12Speaker 2: The outside threw you off.
- 2:14Speaker 4: My wires are crossed and I call you dude.
- 2:16Speaker 3: Sorry.
- 2:17Speaker 2: Uh, this dude A little sad this morning. I rest
- 2:22Speaker 2: in peace. My girl hateh Paneer woke up to that.
- 2:25Speaker 2: That's the first thing I saw when I woke up.
- 2:28Speaker 4: It's like, no, man, that's tough. So I saw it.
- 2:31Speaker 3: I think I saw it last night before I was
- 2:33Speaker 3: I was doing my last minute last night, wasn't it.
- 2:37Speaker 3: I was doing my last minute dooms growing before bedtime.
- 2:40Speaker 3: I think that's when I saw it.
- 2:42Speaker 2: Yeah, damn sad.
- 2:44Speaker 4: Baby.
- 2:45Speaker 5: Well thirty six baby woke us up at about three thirty,
- 2:48Speaker 5: got on my phone for a little bit just to
- 2:50Speaker 5: kind of go back to sleep and saw and I
- 2:51Speaker 5: was like, also, I thought she was a little bit
- 2:53Speaker 5: older than thirty six.
- 2:54Speaker 4: I mean I didn't realize me and her were that
- 2:56Speaker 4: close at age.
- 2:57Speaker 5: Like that that sucks.
- 2:59Speaker 4: Man, Yeah, that yeah, that sinks, And like I don't.
- 3:03Speaker 3: I get it. And obviously in a lot of the
- 3:07Speaker 3: movies you watched growing up, I don't know if I've
- 3:10Speaker 3: like kind of thought about her and like a long
- 3:12Speaker 3: times I hadn't really seen there in.
- 3:14Speaker 4: A lot and yeah, she kind of.
- 3:17Speaker 2: Like it hasn't really done right, she didn't do a
- 3:19Speaker 2: lot of movies recently.
- 3:21Speaker 3: Right, I don't think. Well, it's funny. I recently had
- 3:24Speaker 3: some friends of ours say that have kids that are
- 3:27Speaker 3: around huckin two's that's age, and they're like, we watched
- 3:30Speaker 3: Remember the Titans yeah with them recently and it was awesome.
- 3:34Speaker 3: So like when when you have kids, like I'm trying
- 3:36Speaker 3: to figure out, like at what point what age is
- 3:38Speaker 3: the appropriate time to show different movies? And uh, that
- 3:41Speaker 3: was one that popped up from some friends with kids
- 3:44Speaker 3: around our age that was They're like, yeah, it was great.
- 3:46Speaker 3: They loved its. Starting football season, they got excited for that.
- 3:50Speaker 3: It like it like brought up great conversation topics obviously
- 3:54Speaker 3: that they have no clue about, like what happened in
- 3:57Speaker 3: the sixties, seventies and things like that. So like it
- 4:00Speaker 3: brought up really good conversation pieces and I don't know,
- 4:03Speaker 3: it was weird because like this weekend, remember the Titans
- 4:05Speaker 3: popped in my head for the first time, like in
- 4:07Speaker 3: a serious conversation for a long time. That's obviously where
- 4:11Speaker 3: like I know her from the most. Yeah is that
- 4:14Speaker 3: because she was the cute little girl that would grow
- 4:16Speaker 3: out adorable? Absolutely? So yeah, sad stuff. Yeah, always sad when,
- 4:23Speaker 3: like I don't know, I feel like in movies and
- 4:27Speaker 3: music that you grow up with, like you got this
- 4:30Speaker 3: like heart felt connection with the people in it. Like
- 4:35Speaker 3: even you have no clue who she is. I don't
- 4:37Speaker 3: even know what she's been in in the last twenty years,
- 4:41Speaker 3: but it didn't matter because she was in a movie
- 4:44Speaker 3: I love growing up. So like that's it's always sad.
- 4:46Speaker 5: I don't know, dude, I'm sitting here, like, well too,
- 4:49Speaker 5: I'd use the Friday night lights, I mean Friday night
- 4:53Speaker 5: remember the Titans reference on Saturday night. If Victoria didn't
- 4:56Speaker 5: get it, which upset me because like she was uh,
- 4:59Speaker 5: just feed the baby. She's like, hey, can you give
- 5:00Speaker 5: me my water bottle?
- 5:01Speaker 4: It's like where is it? She's like over here to
- 5:02Speaker 4: the left.
- 5:03Speaker 5: I was like, oh, left side, strong side, and she goes,
- 5:05Speaker 5: actually my right side, to my strong side. I was like,
- 5:09Speaker 5: that's remember the Titans reference in the Big Deal. I
- 5:11Speaker 5: didn't even think about that. I was talking about that
- 5:13Speaker 5: movie Saturday as.
- 5:14Speaker 4: She's like, you are my husband. You know I'm not
- 5:16Speaker 4: left handed? Yeah? Pretty much.
- 5:19Speaker 5: She's like, who you who are you thinking of?
- 5:21Speaker 4: That's that's left hand.
- 5:24Speaker 3: Okay, let's just let me show you this great film.
- 5:29Speaker 2: She's married one of my favorite boxers. Her and Klitchkow,
- 5:33Speaker 2: Vladimir Klitchko were married for like a while. She's like five.
- 5:42Speaker 5: Feet, he's like what six, He's like a.
- 5:45Speaker 2: Huge Ukrainian heavyweight boxer.
- 5:48Speaker 4: He's gotta be.
- 5:49Speaker 2: His brother is like the mayor of Cube or something.
- 5:52Speaker 4: Hmmm, oh yeah, I have heard that.
- 5:55Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 5:57Speaker 2: I forgot the brother's name though, but he was also
- 5:59Speaker 2: a boxer.
- 6:01Speaker 3: Well, yeah, sad stuff.
- 6:05Speaker 2: I think Tommy John died.
- 6:07Speaker 3: Too, Tommy John the elbow go yeahp like that, yes.
- 6:10Speaker 4: That Timmy John.
- 6:11Speaker 2: I think he died this weekend too.
- 6:13Speaker 5: I heard that coming in this morning, which was news
- 6:15Speaker 5: to me, which was I got to be honest.
- 6:17Speaker 4: I would have said the second time.
- 6:19Speaker 3: Yea twice.
- 6:22Speaker 5: Yeah, he's somebody I just never thought about.
- 6:24Speaker 2: But I'm in a surgery is named after you. I
- 6:27Speaker 2: feel like you're not alive.
- 6:28Speaker 5: It's been a minute and it's been around for so long.
- 6:30Speaker 5: When I read that, I was like, Hotty John was
- 6:33Speaker 5: still with Yeah, I would if I would like, when did.
- 6:35Speaker 3: He play play ball?
- 6:37Speaker 2: A long time ago?
- 6:38Speaker 3: Like Black and White.
- 6:40Speaker 2: Started in nineteen sixty three, okay started pitching hold on Yeah,
- 6:45Speaker 2: between nineteen sixty three and nineteen eighty nine, so he
- 6:49Speaker 2: was eighty three. But I think the fact that his name,
- 6:55Speaker 2: like he's.
- 6:57Speaker 4: A guest holder, right, Yeah, I would have guessed he's.
- 6:59Speaker 2: I would I guess, like Babe Ruth their gun.
- 7:01Speaker 3: To my head. What year did Tommy John play? I
- 7:04Speaker 3: would have said thirty six to forty eight years old?
- 7:08Speaker 3: Miss a few years goes the war?
- 7:11Speaker 2: Right, I would have thought, RP Tommy Rip to Tommy John.
- 7:18Speaker 3: Yo, Tommy, Yes, that's there you go, same thing.
- 7:22Speaker 4: Give a little extra this morning for a guy Tommy John.
- 7:25Speaker 2: Wait to start off the wait with a couple of
- 7:27Speaker 2: d Tommy Tommy John.
- 7:31Speaker 3: Pour one out for mister John, y'all go.
- 7:34Speaker 2: Have elbow surgery for him.
- 7:36Speaker 3: Do you think you got royalties from that?
- 7:39Speaker 2: That's a great question.
- 7:40Speaker 3: Every surgeon out there to pay Tommy anytime the riches
- 7:46Speaker 3: a quarter of a percent?
- 7:49Speaker 2: Did Tommy John make any money?
- 7:52Speaker 4: You're actually typing it?
- 7:53Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 7:54Speaker 3: Oh lordie, So did y'all see? There's conspiracy a foot
- 7:59Speaker 3: with this hidden situation?
- 8:01Speaker 4: Okay, do you not see this?
- 8:03Speaker 2: You were like the queen of conspiracy woke up to
- 8:06Speaker 2: this news.
- 8:06Speaker 4: She apparently she had interviewed.
- 8:09Speaker 2: Yeah, like a few months ago, just a couple of
- 8:11Speaker 2: months ago, she exposed Hollywood.
- 8:12Speaker 4: Well, she called him out.
- 8:14Speaker 3: I think, like, I don't know if maybe I'm getting unked,
- 8:16Speaker 3: But that's what people are saying.
- 8:18Speaker 2: My time on she had, like I saw when that.
- 8:21Speaker 5: Interview came out, she'd just released one.
- 8:24Speaker 4: I think she was about to. Really, I don't it's
- 8:26Speaker 4: about to.
- 8:26Speaker 3: I don't know. Maybe she did.
- 8:27Speaker 2: Tommy John didn't get any royalties.
- 8:29Speaker 3: Are I'm shocked. I'm one hundred percent shocked. I thought
- 8:35Speaker 3: this was America truly.
- 8:37Speaker 2: I mean, if we can sue people off a number,
- 8:40Speaker 2: I feel like you can make money off of surgery
- 8:42Speaker 2: being named.
- 8:43Speaker 3: After you my, like the definition of in il they
- 8:47Speaker 3: use literally like, yeah, that's.
- 8:53Speaker 2: That's absurd, it's absurd.
- 8:55Speaker 3: Justice for justice for Tommy, yeah, jes Yeah, so Hayden, Yeah,
- 9:03Speaker 3: she called out big Hollywood, the elites, the elites, big
- 9:07Speaker 3: music companies. And again this is all allegedly. I didn't
- 9:11Speaker 3: really see it, but this is according to people posted
- 9:13Speaker 3: on my timeline.
- 9:14Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 9:14Speaker 3: Then three months later, according to gone at thirty six, according.
- 9:18Speaker 2: To Twitter, how we investigated, Like, I saw a very
- 9:24Speaker 2: quick report. I didn't. I haven't looked much into one
- 9:27Speaker 2: said anything about cause of death, but yeah, I didn't
- 9:29Speaker 2: say cause of death, but they said that it's being investigated.
- 9:34Speaker 5: Watched the uh TikTok video, and you know, if it's
- 9:36Speaker 5: on TikTok, it's on accurate. The girl was breaking down
- 9:41Speaker 5: TikTok and apparently, again all rumored. I don't know, so
- 9:44Speaker 5: it on TikTok that the cops were called to the
- 9:47Speaker 5: apartment complex earlier that night for unknown reasons, and then
- 9:52Speaker 5: she died later that night. So I don't know. That's
- 9:55Speaker 5: a that's another rumor surfacing. So we're gonna have to
- 9:57Speaker 5: wait and see. But there there's something up, and anytime
- 10:00Speaker 5: thirty six and pass.
- 10:01Speaker 3: Away, it's.
- 10:04Speaker 2: Yeah, it's not natural causes.
- 10:05Speaker 3: Unless there's like obviously medical, yeah, situation happening. Anyway, we
- 10:11Speaker 3: hope that gets solved and we hope that. Yeah, we
- 10:14Speaker 3: pray for the family. Always so sad news though, And
- 10:19Speaker 3: all I can think about when I saw it again
- 10:20Speaker 3: was the Little Girl from the Bleachers And remember the Titans,
- 10:23Speaker 3: so sad stuff you used to watch, you were saying,
- 10:26Speaker 3: one of your favorite movies growing.
- 10:27Speaker 2: Up, Bring it On All or Nothing, not the Ridge,
- 10:30Speaker 2: not the first bring it On it was. It was
- 10:33Speaker 2: the one with Hayden Paneteer in it, and Beyonce's sister
- 10:37Speaker 2: and Rihanna's on at the end she has a little
- 10:39Speaker 2: cameo sister. Yeah, salone. She's the other one.
- 10:44Speaker 3: Solange.
- 10:45Speaker 2: Yeah, I think that's how you say.
- 10:46Speaker 4: It, is Salon with a J.
- 10:47Speaker 2: Solange, Yeah, I think that's how you say it.
- 10:51Speaker 5: Yeah, she was the uh, she was the other.
- 10:55Speaker 2: Oh. Like when Hayden moved schools to the Prinshaw Shaw Heights,
- 11:00Speaker 2: she was the one that was the head cheerleader there.
- 11:05Speaker 3: Roll cheertatorship pretty muchship It's not a cheerocracy.
- 11:12Speaker 5: Remember racing stripes.
- 11:14Speaker 4: It was big when I was a kid.
- 11:15Speaker 2: Yeah, Racing Stripes is an underrated It was.
- 11:18Speaker 5: A very realistic movie where Hayden Panantier got a zebra
- 11:21Speaker 5: and competed in horse racing against the actual horse.
- 11:25Speaker 2: The show Nashville, Yeah that was a hit.
- 11:29Speaker 3: Yeah, I do know that people like that show. Did
- 11:32Speaker 3: y'all watch that show? I never watched it. I never did,
- 11:34Speaker 3: but I remember seeing it. Did Nick come on us
- 11:36Speaker 3: a Yeah? It ran for years years. Yeah, it was
- 11:41Speaker 3: just on the like a like a random channel that it.
- 11:44Speaker 2: Was a USA probably one of those type of the big.
- 11:47Speaker 5: One, which makes sense because it was about country music.
- 11:51Speaker 5: But yeah, six seasons. It was her in Tammy Taylor
- 11:57Speaker 5: from uh Friday Night Lights Coach's Wife.
- 12:00Speaker 3: So I hadn't seen it Classic Tammy though. All right,
- 12:06Speaker 3: let's go to more positive news. Let's talk about like,
- 12:08Speaker 3: did you have a good weekend? Everybody good great weekend?
- 12:11Speaker 3: Did we party my neighbors? Did your neighbors partied?
- 12:17Speaker 5: Yeah? At two thirty in the morning. Now I'm not
- 12:21Speaker 5: that person, Oh guy, I'm pretty easy going person. I'm
- 12:26Speaker 5: not going to call the cops on somebody.
- 12:28Speaker 2: But that was a really easy going response.
- 12:29Speaker 5: That's that's that's not me. But uh no, like I
- 12:34Speaker 5: don't think that. Like they were like kids, like high
- 12:39Speaker 5: school age kids. Yeah, and then like I didn't even
- 12:42Speaker 5: know my dog had to go out at like two am.
- 12:44Speaker 5: Took him out, and then on the way back in,
- 12:46Speaker 5: I could see the trucks in the street and they.
- 12:48Speaker 4: Were on they're having a good time.
- 12:49Speaker 3: How like most of them? How how tall were they?
- 12:52Speaker 3: What kind of inches most of them a lift kid?
- 12:55Speaker 3: Most of them? Yeah, sure, like half five six? Like
- 12:58Speaker 3: to where it was and discreet you could hell, oh
- 13:00Speaker 3: I could.
- 13:01Speaker 5: I could probably crouch under a couple of them.
- 13:03Speaker 4: Was there lights in the tire?
- 13:04Speaker 3: Well, I don't know because there weren't one, probably, so
- 13:08Speaker 3: if you had to guess, probably, Like yeah, classic, But uh,
- 13:12Speaker 3: baby was great yesterday. You gotta call the cops on
- 13:15Speaker 3: that man. Yet they need these kids need to develop
- 13:18Speaker 3: as humans, you know, they need to need consequences.
- 13:21Speaker 4: Gonna be that guy. Baby was great.
- 13:24Speaker 5: Wasn't fussy yesterday for the first time in like a while,
- 13:27Speaker 5: actually throughout the day, so not bad.
- 13:31Speaker 3: I woke up at during in the morning though, Oh yeah, Lander,
- 13:37Speaker 3: you sent a video of the infamous orange cat that you.
- 13:42Speaker 2: I didn't kick him.
- 13:43Speaker 4: I was hoping that at least I kind of I
- 13:46Speaker 4: act like.
- 13:48Speaker 2: I should have. For the record, I've never kicked this
- 13:52Speaker 2: cat ever in my life. Is actually I have petted
- 13:57Speaker 2: against my will because it's staring at me and I
- 14:01Speaker 2: feel bad, so I pet it. And uh, yeah, I
- 14:04Speaker 2: saw him this weekend. He looked like he was chilling.
- 14:06Speaker 2: He looks well.
- 14:07Speaker 3: That was a nice looking cat.
- 14:09Speaker 2: He looks well.
- 14:09Speaker 4: You described this.
- 14:10Speaker 3: Cat as astray, like patches of hair missing.
- 14:15Speaker 2: Not how I described it.
- 14:17Speaker 3: I said I was hanging out permanently, the missing teeth
- 14:22Speaker 3: one ear all.
- 14:25Speaker 2: He's definitely a straight I was like, gross, a well
- 14:30Speaker 2: fed stray, though. But I saw him this weekend. He
- 14:33Speaker 2: was big, chilling, he was sunbathing.
- 14:36Speaker 3: He was he was chilling, yeah, and it was only
- 14:38Speaker 3: like one hundred and ten degree wet bulb, right.
- 14:41Speaker 2: And then he saw me walk by and he stretched out.
- 14:43Speaker 4: He was like, this this is her.
- 14:45Speaker 2: Shes about to give me a belly rope.
- 14:48Speaker 4: He's this is gonna go one of two.
- 14:49Speaker 3: She didn't. She must must have a terrible memory and
- 14:52Speaker 3: she doesn't remember you.
- 14:53Speaker 2: Yeah, I kicked it.
- 14:55Speaker 3: We We spent the whole weekend packing because we're about
- 14:58Speaker 3: to start our little pride our house that we've been
- 15:01Speaker 3: like working towards for a long time. So we had like, oh,
- 15:06Speaker 3: packings the worse because like you just you see things,
- 15:08Speaker 3: you unearth things like in your closet or something. They
- 15:10Speaker 3: just hadn't been there and they don't need to be there,
- 15:12Speaker 3: you don't need them, But you're like, do I throw
- 15:14Speaker 3: this away? Like could I could use this in a
- 15:18Speaker 3: couple of years?
- 15:20Speaker 2: You're giving hoarder a little bit.
- 15:21Speaker 3: No, Actually, Lacy and I have done a really good
- 15:25Speaker 3: job of trying to be anti horder. Yeah, now there
- 15:30Speaker 3: are some things that were like with our kids age,
- 15:32Speaker 3: are are their kids.
- 15:33Speaker 4: Gonna want to see this? Are they gonna want to
- 15:35Speaker 4: use this? Are they gonna like? It's a hard balance to.
- 15:37Speaker 3: Make, but we've filling a lot of stuff away, but
- 15:40Speaker 3: it is we're moving, so like we're kind of we're
- 15:43Speaker 3: all gonna be like camped in like one portion of
- 15:46Speaker 3: our house during renovation for like a while. So we're
- 15:49Speaker 3: trying to make that nice. But we're not to start.
- 15:51Speaker 3: We're about to start a little demolition at the house.
- 15:54Speaker 2: You should do a demo party.
- 15:55Speaker 4: A demo party, and.
- 15:58Speaker 3: That'd be fun, right, People love that people love that. Yeah, Okay,
- 16:05Speaker 3: I've seen that. I've seen that. I've never done it.
- 16:07Speaker 3: I don't know, like, does that sound cool to you?
- 16:10Speaker 3: A rage room?
- 16:11Speaker 4: I would break stuff.
- 16:14Speaker 2: I got some rage I can get out, I would
- 16:16Speaker 2: do it. Yeah, but I could demolish your whole house
- 16:20Speaker 2: right now, just off rage.
- 16:21Speaker 3: Really yeah, like that, but that intrigued you to go
- 16:24Speaker 3: to a rage room and like just throw plates against
- 16:27Speaker 3: the ground, take a bat to an old TV.
- 16:30Speaker 2: If somebody invited me, I would go, But I don't
- 16:32Speaker 2: think I'm ever gonna be like, hey, let's all go
- 16:35Speaker 2: to a rage room.
- 16:36Speaker 3: That sounds awesome. Yeah, Like, I don't know if like
- 16:39Speaker 3: I've seen people do, I've seen like TV shows where
- 16:41Speaker 3: they'll do go do it to blow off steam or whatever.
- 16:44Speaker 3: I don't know if it looks like that great to me.
- 16:46Speaker 3: I think I'd just rather punch a punching bag or something. Yeah,
- 16:49Speaker 3: I could do it.
- 16:50Speaker 2: Yeah, it just seems like waste of plates, I mean,
- 16:54Speaker 2: I guess. Yeah.
- 16:58Speaker 4: Anyway, that was what we did, so I wanted to.
- 17:01Speaker 3: I had like all the games and we're gonna we're
- 17:03Speaker 3: gonna talk about the Saints here coming up next segment.
- 17:06Speaker 4: But like I had it on, but I wasn't.
- 17:08Speaker 3: I couldn't like lock in as much as I could
- 17:10Speaker 3: because like we are, like we've been a little bit procrastinating,
- 17:14Speaker 3: so it's like t minus, like not that many days
- 17:17Speaker 3: until we start, and we're like, oh crap, we gotta
- 17:21Speaker 3: I gotta go. So we were focusing on that, but
- 17:24Speaker 3: we there was a lot to take away from the
- 17:27Speaker 3: Saints game and it was exciting to just all the
- 17:31Speaker 3: build up of the off season. Of course, finally get
- 17:33Speaker 3: to see them go out put their actual uniforms on,
- 17:35Speaker 3: play another team, something to cheer about. A lot of
- 17:38Speaker 3: things that overreact.
- 17:39Speaker 2: To, like Spencer everything.
- 17:43Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean include I mean the quarterbacks are a
- 17:45Speaker 3: going to be like the Zach Wilson. Is he the
- 17:48Speaker 3: top five quarterback in the NFL right now? Seems like
- 17:51Speaker 3: it seems like it kidding me a lot to get to,
- 17:54Speaker 3: a lot to react to, and we're gonna get to that.
- 17:56Speaker 3: On the other side of the break right here and
- 17:58Speaker 3: off the bench are go to pelicanroof dot com. Pelicanroof

- 20:03Speaker 3: him out. And every single Monday, our show is brought
- 20:06Speaker 3: to you by Buy You Automotive. All right. Let's get
- 20:09Speaker 3: to a little New Orleans Saints football. The super Dome
- 20:13Speaker 3: was rocking. You know what wasn't rocking? The color on
- 20:17Speaker 3: the on the broadcast for a little while. Was that
- 20:20Speaker 3: the same for everybody? It's like a weird color at
- 20:23Speaker 3: the beginning. Then all of a sudden like middle of
- 20:25Speaker 3: the first quarter, it just like went to like so normal.
- 20:27Speaker 3: It's because the NFL hates the Saints. I only noticed
- 20:29Speaker 3: it on that broadcast. The others were okay, podcast, I
- 20:33Speaker 3: saw vibrant, clear color. Who's on the other TV broadcast?
- 20:37Speaker 3: There's two TV broadcasts. No, I'm saying the other games.
- 20:40Speaker 3: Oh yeah, for sure it was. And then all of
- 20:42Speaker 3: a sudden, like rattler drops back and basically black and white,
- 20:47Speaker 3: and all of a sudden he turns into pure color.
- 20:49Speaker 3: It's beautiful. But I don't know. That was the one
- 20:51Speaker 3: thing that I noticed for the for the main part there.
- 20:53Speaker 3: But the Saints go down in preseason Jaguars beat them
- 20:58Speaker 3: twenty four to twenty and I don't know, would you say,
- 21:03Speaker 3: you know it's preseason, right. I don't think anything's going
- 21:05Speaker 3: to top the Hall of Fame game when it comes
- 21:07Speaker 3: to preseason, but I would say a pretty exciting game.
- 21:10Speaker 4: Nonetheless, Taylor, Yeah, I enjoyed.
- 21:12Speaker 5: I mean the opening kickoff returned to eighty six yards
- 21:15Speaker 5: by ty Chandler, who I think is going to make
- 21:17Speaker 5: this football team because of his ability on special teams.
- 21:20Speaker 5: And then first play all your guestimate nine yards after
- 21:23Speaker 5: you get down there, you hand it to him, he
- 21:25Speaker 5: runs around the end touchdown.
- 21:27Speaker 4: So your first offensive play.
- 21:29Speaker 5: I mean, you score within the first twenty seconds of
- 21:31Speaker 5: that game and everything looks great, and yeah, I mean
- 21:34Speaker 5: you ultimately lost. But I don't really care about winsor
- 21:37Speaker 5: losses in preseason. I'm looking at more of who stood out,
- 21:41Speaker 5: what looked good, what didn't, and a large I mean
- 21:44Speaker 5: the guys I wanted to see have good performance as
- 21:47Speaker 5: it did for the most part.
- 21:51Speaker 3: So like that opening kickoff return touchdown Bass to May
- 21:57Speaker 3: sticks out a little bit to me because of exactly
- 21:59Speaker 3: what you say when you walked in this morning. Do
- 22:02Speaker 3: you think there's running back situation? Who do you think
- 22:07Speaker 3: is going to right now? In your opinion? Do you
- 22:10Speaker 3: think Estimate made a couple of strides to become that
- 22:13Speaker 3: third running back in the group?
- 22:15Speaker 5: I already thought he should have been the third running
- 22:17Speaker 5: back in the group before this game. But yeah, Matt,
- 22:20Speaker 5: I don't think Kendre Miller's are gonna make this team. Yeah,
- 22:22Speaker 5: I mean we talked about it a little bit a
- 22:24Speaker 5: couple of weeks ago, ty Chandler, he has the ability
- 22:27Speaker 5: on special teams. Estima looks like the third running back
- 22:30Speaker 5: right now you know Kamara and a chain er set.
- 22:33Speaker 5: That's four guys right there. This is a coaching staff
- 22:36Speaker 5: that drafted Devin Neil. There's your fifth running back. Do
- 22:38Speaker 5: you keep him around depending on what his injury situation
- 22:41Speaker 5: looks like?
- 22:42Speaker 4: And CJ.
- 22:42Speaker 5: Donaldson, the rookie out of Ohio State, got a little
- 22:45Speaker 5: bit of run. You got four carries now, I mean
- 22:47Speaker 5: literally four carries for zero yards. But he was still
- 22:50Speaker 5: out there. He's still healthy and available. I don't know
- 22:52Speaker 5: if Kendre makes this team.
- 22:55Speaker 3: Yeah, and it's kind of a shame, right, And it's
- 22:56Speaker 3: just the same that he can't stay healthy because he's
- 22:58Speaker 3: obviously talented.
- 22:59Speaker 4: That's why they keep him around.
- 23:00Speaker 3: And that's why people still still project him to potentially
- 23:03Speaker 3: make the roster because they got the best ability is availability,
- 23:06Speaker 3: that's the that's the saying, that's whatever, you can't make
- 23:08Speaker 3: the club and the tub blah blah blah. But like
- 23:11Speaker 3: at some point it matters. At some point, talent doesn't
- 23:14Speaker 3: matter anymore if you can't show that talent. And you know,
- 23:18Speaker 3: some people are just more injury prone and some people
- 23:22Speaker 3: aren't as tough. And I don't know which one it is.
- 23:24Speaker 3: Maybe it's a combination of both. We don't know. It's
- 23:26Speaker 3: all speculation, but it does suck. I mean it's it's brutal,
- 23:30Speaker 3: and it's unfortunate that it continues to happen for whatever
- 23:34Speaker 3: the reason, whatever the reason it is. Do we have
- 23:41Speaker 3: an official quarterback competition for backup?
- 23:46Speaker 5: No, but no, But I think it gives you options
- 23:50Speaker 5: if you if you are trying to get some trade
- 23:52Speaker 5: value for Rattler, like we have Devil on the other day,
- 23:55Speaker 5: and you know we were talking about it. I think
- 23:57Speaker 5: Zach Wilson is a good backup quarterback. I mean, everybody
- 24:00Speaker 5: wants to look at what he did with the Jets.
- 24:02Speaker 5: We took about it all the time. Sam Darnold was
- 24:04Speaker 5: bad with the Jets. Aaron Rodgers wasn't even great with
- 24:07Speaker 5: the Jets. Guys, the Jets suck. They're a terrible organization.
- 24:10Speaker 5: Find me a quarterback in the last New York Jets
- 24:12Speaker 5: the New York Jets hot take, find me a quarterback.
- 24:16Speaker 5: It is good with the New York Jets. Like he
- 24:18Speaker 5: got to work with Sean Payton at the Denver Broncos.
- 24:21Speaker 5: After he left. He got to sit and learn and
- 24:23Speaker 5: hear from Sean. That's going to help him. I like
- 24:26Speaker 5: Zach Wilson, the talent's still there. There's a guy that's
- 24:28Speaker 5: still got drafted number two overall. He had a good
- 24:30Speaker 5: college career a BYU like he can throw the ball
- 24:33Speaker 5: a little bit. Not asking him to go out there
- 24:34Speaker 5: and start games, but I mean I thought he played well.
- 24:37Speaker 3: He comes in the game, I believe, with about five
- 24:40Speaker 3: minutes left in the first half, so in the second quarter,
- 24:44Speaker 3: and does really well, like it does all the things
- 24:47Speaker 3: that you're supposed to do. He goes eleven for sixteen
- 24:49Speaker 3: hundred and forty five yards passing with a touchdown, and
- 24:53Speaker 3: after that, Hunter Deckers comes in and on it. I
- 24:57Speaker 3: gotta be like, gotta admit, before the before the show started,
- 25:02Speaker 3: I was like, wait, who's hundred Deckers?
- 25:05Speaker 4: No?
- 25:06Speaker 2: Before this segment, pave you.
- 25:08Speaker 5: A little homework.
- 25:09Speaker 3: D wait a minute, who's this Hunter Deckers fell because
- 25:12Speaker 3: at that point I was not watching the game. You know,
- 25:14Speaker 3: let's just continue to live my life. Wasn't playing outside
- 25:16Speaker 3: because it's so hot. I was packing.
- 25:19Speaker 4: So you're playing inside? Yeah, I played inside. That's exactly right.
- 25:23Speaker 3: This Hunter Deckers fella, he goes eight to fifteen for
- 25:25Speaker 3: sixty nine yards, no touchdowns, no interceptions. But fine, But
- 25:28Speaker 3: I think a lot of the big talk is Zach Wilson.
- 25:30Speaker 3: Of course coming out of the game. Is he the backup? Obviously,
- 25:33Speaker 3: there's a we talked about a lot, there's a lot
- 25:36Speaker 3: of there's a lot of hate towards Spencer Rattler, and
- 25:39Speaker 3: I don't know if he did anything in this game
- 25:41Speaker 3: to alleviate any of that. I mean, he didn't play poorly. No,
- 25:45Speaker 3: they had a really bad fumble, they.
- 25:47Speaker 5: Were short in completions, but it was eight of eleven
- 25:51Speaker 5: out there and stunk it up.
- 25:52Speaker 3: It looked like the starting quarterback for most preseason games. Right.
- 25:57Speaker 4: You go in and you're running very basic route cons.
- 26:00Speaker 5: Pus yourself's already scripted like you're it's all.
- 26:03Speaker 4: It's all scripted.
- 26:04Speaker 3: It's you're not going to do anything crazy from a
- 26:07Speaker 3: play calling standpoint. The defense is going to throw there.
- 26:10Speaker 3: You know a lot of most of their starters, a
- 26:12Speaker 3: lot of their starters out they're going to run pretty
- 26:14Speaker 3: basic and they're starting and it's the starting defense for
- 26:18Speaker 3: the NFL team. They're not going to give you deep
- 26:20Speaker 3: passes when they're playing Cover three and Cover four. You
- 26:22Speaker 3: just you have to take underneath routes and then so yeah,
- 26:26Speaker 3: the the sack was the sack fumble was not a
- 26:29Speaker 3: good play. He sees year three now, he can't let
- 26:32Speaker 3: that happen. But he did a good job. So they
- 26:33Speaker 3: whiffed on they made a bad communication. They they the
- 26:37Speaker 3: tackle squeezed down on a blitz from the linebacker inside
- 26:41Speaker 3: and he left the end the edge rusher uh free
- 26:44Speaker 3: to the running back and he didn't communicate that to
- 26:46Speaker 3: the running back or the running back missed the communication
- 26:48Speaker 3: from the left tackle and a free runner and Spencer
- 26:52Speaker 3: spins out to the left and then just makes it
- 26:54Speaker 3: kind of a dumb mistake of holding onto the ball
- 26:56Speaker 3: trying to step up and fumbles. Can't do that, can't happen.
- 27:00Speaker 3: But other than that, like I don't you know, the
- 27:03Speaker 3: rest of the performance was just like, yeah, he's he's
- 27:05Speaker 3: making accurate throws. There was one drop by tie end,
- 27:07Speaker 3: but like it was like a whatever performance for me.
- 27:09Speaker 3: It's kind of what I didn't expect anybody to, Like,
- 27:13Speaker 3: I don't expect any starting eleven on any offense at
- 27:18Speaker 3: a first preseason to go light it up. Now, the
- 27:20Speaker 3: exciting part is when the second quarter starts. By mid
- 27:23Speaker 3: second quarter, the backups start rotating. Then those games get exciting.
- 27:28Speaker 3: I'd like to actually see stats from all second, third,
- 27:32Speaker 3: fourth string quarterbacks compared to like the first string quarterback
- 27:35Speaker 3: on all the teams.
- 27:36Speaker 5: It's good. Huh see, it's actually really good for this weekend. Yeah,
- 27:40Speaker 5: Like Nels was the second team quarterback. He's playing well.
- 27:43Speaker 5: Ty Simpsons really well. Drew Aller was really good. I
- 27:47Speaker 5: mean he was the third quarterback over the weekend case Keenum.
- 27:51Speaker 4: Dude, he's still playing ball.
- 27:53Speaker 3: He like had a perfect I don't know, he's got
- 27:56Speaker 3: to be at least fifty five playing in the fourth
- 27:59Speaker 3: quarter of a preseason game. Baby, it's time to shine
- 28:03Speaker 3: thirty eight. There we go.
- 28:05Speaker 5: He was like twenty seven when he got in the NFL.
- 28:07Speaker 5: I'm pretty sure what like a sixty.
- 28:09Speaker 2: Year eight is crazy.
- 28:13Speaker 3: Yeah, so, like the first preseason game just and I
- 28:16Speaker 3: know we kind of talked about, like I saw Ty
- 28:18Speaker 3: Simpsons his highlights from the other day. His first three
- 28:20Speaker 3: completions run the exact same play, naked bootleg to the right,
- 28:24Speaker 3: hit a flat, he hit the tight end on the
- 28:25Speaker 3: over and they hit the flat again. Like it's it's
- 28:28Speaker 3: very basic plays and you have to It's just like
- 28:31Speaker 3: how okay, we're running a hitcher oute against cover four, Like,
- 28:35Speaker 3: how good can my receiver be? How accurate in the quarterback?
- 28:38Speaker 3: They on time? So there's not a lot to watch,
- 28:40Speaker 3: but like the second quarter, the second quarter, second half
- 28:44Speaker 3: is exciting to watch. But I don't think after one
- 28:47Speaker 3: game of a good perform. This is great to see
- 28:49Speaker 3: Zach Wilson perform like that. Like you got a former
- 28:52Speaker 3: first rounder, then you got a a experienced number two
- 28:56Speaker 3: guy in Spencer Rattler. You don't need three, so you
- 29:00Speaker 3: do like the better they play, the better Saints should feel.
- 29:04Speaker 3: And again so much so much hate towards Spencer, so
- 29:10Speaker 3: much on the like, okay, whatever, but you know, Zach.
- 29:14Speaker 2: You should never start in the NFL.
- 29:16Speaker 3: Ever, Yeah, he shouldn't even be no kidding.
- 29:19Speaker 4: You should have got cut, shouldn't need me where that.
- 29:22Speaker 5: The one thing he gets brought up is his win
- 29:24Speaker 5: lost record. I'm like, guy, Jay, he's a he's a
- 29:26Speaker 5: backup quarterback. Yeah, like what backup quarterback is going to
- 29:29Speaker 5: go in there? He's I mean, you're not the next
- 29:31Speaker 5: Tom Brady. You're not going to take anybody's job. But
- 29:34Speaker 5: it wasn't his fault.
- 29:35Speaker 3: I think the old team was bad I know, I know,
- 29:38Speaker 3: but there is some frustrating like I get it. Like
- 29:40Speaker 3: I kept seeing the comment like I was just boring
- 29:43Speaker 3: to watch. I'm like, yeah, I can see that he
- 29:47Speaker 3: kind of goes thro those reads and makes the you know,
- 29:49Speaker 3: goes through all his reads and and it's checked out
- 29:51Speaker 3: if he has I get it. Yeah, And I was.
- 29:54Speaker 3: I was reading through Nick Hill because Nick Underhill, because
- 29:56Speaker 3: I respect his opinion. He's been at every single, uh,
- 30:00Speaker 3: every single practice, and he's like, what I've seen at
- 30:02Speaker 3: practice is not translated to the game. I'm like, well,
- 30:05Speaker 3: kind of a course, because you're running very basic stuff.
- 30:08Speaker 3: But anyway, I am glad that I was fired up
- 30:10Speaker 3: to see Zach Wilson go out there and play well.
- 30:12Speaker 3: Because anytime you can play well at that position and
- 30:16Speaker 3: you have numbers in that quarterback room, the better off
- 30:19Speaker 3: you are. Because it's a long season, you don't know
- 30:21Speaker 3: what's going to happen from injury standpoint, you want at
- 30:25Speaker 3: least one person that can step into the game and
- 30:27Speaker 3: be productive and kind of keep the train on the tracks.
- 30:30Speaker 3: Now potentially you have two guys, and that allows you
- 30:33Speaker 3: to also be able to trade or make moves or
- 30:35Speaker 3: whatever it is. So Saints fans should be excited about
- 30:37Speaker 3: the quarterback room, I believe, and we're excited hopefully this
- 30:40Speaker 3: week we get to see at least a little bit
- 30:42Speaker 3: of Tyler Shuck. I would expect to see him for
- 30:44Speaker 3: at least a quarter at some point during the preseason.
- 30:47Speaker 2: Did the scenes have one of the most solid quarterback
- 30:49Speaker 2: rooms in the entire NFL?
- 30:53Speaker 4: It's an interesting question.
- 30:55Speaker 2: Like, yeah, it's actually pretty good.
- 30:58Speaker 3: Yeah, And I do kind of want to talk about
- 31:00Speaker 3: that before on the next side on the on the
- 31:04Speaker 3: other segment, talk about kind of Tyler Shuck's rookie class.
- 31:08Speaker 3: There's a lot of news being made with Jackson Dart
- 31:10Speaker 3: this past weekend. And also we'll give you Jordan Tyson
- 31:15Speaker 3: update as well as got a little hamstring something that
- 31:18Speaker 3: we've all all been worried about.
- 31:20Speaker 2: Ross Jackson. Ross Jackson, he said he can come on.
- 31:24Speaker 3: At eight a little more talk, I know, and and
- 31:29Speaker 3: and like, look, we're gonna talk a little bit of LSU,
- 31:30Speaker 3: but there's not a lot to report on. Nobody got
- 31:32Speaker 3: to see anything from the scrimmage this past weekend, So
- 31:37Speaker 3: we'll give you as much as we can see if
- 31:39Speaker 3: we can get anybody to that. Maybe got eyes on
- 31:42Speaker 3: the scrimmage texting. I texted a few people and I
- 31:46Speaker 3: hadn't got any confirmation that anybody actually went. Yeah, but
- 31:51Speaker 3: before we got a break one and tell you better
- 31:52Speaker 3: friends over at katy Zy Interiors and Outdoor Living katiz

- 32:50Speaker 3: All right, we're gonna talk more Saints on the other side,
- 32:52Speaker 3: right here and off the bench.
- 32:54Speaker 1: Off the bench, Off the bench with Hester and Flynn
- 33:06Speaker 1: presented by Buy You Automotive.
- 33:09Speaker 4: Yes, fat up and the junk about on this scissor.
- 33:14Speaker 2: It's gonna be a whole lot of sipping it up,
- 33:16Speaker 2: pulling it up, break it up, going on around hand
- 33:19Speaker 2: and yes, sixty six sixty one, boy, I know.
- 33:22Speaker 3: How we do it. Pull it on up, it's going down.
- 33:31Speaker 2: It started like that. That was on me, bad move.
- 33:35Speaker 3: I mean, whoever edited this one did a great job.
- 33:38Speaker 4: I mean tip of the Cap did. That's a tough job.
- 33:41Speaker 4: They had their work out, they had their work It's
- 33:43Speaker 4: took a while.
- 33:45Speaker 2: He basically just blocked out whatever all this joke.
- 33:54Speaker 3: Anyway, All right, welcome back here, off the bench Monday morning,
- 33:57Speaker 3: Moundy Ship brought to you by by You Automotive every
- 34:00Speaker 3: single week. All right, we're still talking a little Saints
- 34:02Speaker 3: preseason week number one and the close loss to the Jaguars.
- 34:06Speaker 4: But worry not Saints fans.
- 34:09Speaker 3: It does sound like the Saints kicked that but kick
- 34:15Speaker 3: that junk all last week when they practiced against the Jaguars.
- 34:20Speaker 4: What that junk?
- 34:23Speaker 3: Uh huh?
- 34:24Speaker 2: I mean wait, I got it where we get like, okay,
- 34:29Speaker 2: this is funny and it's off tangent. It's a Simpsons
- 34:33Speaker 2: meme and it says some are saying, this is Matt
- 34:36Speaker 2: Flynn and it's the Grandpa from the Simpsons. He's taking
- 34:39Speaker 2: down the flag and it's like they're only forty nine
- 34:41Speaker 2: stars on that flag, and the Grandpa goes, I'll be
- 34:44Speaker 2: deep in the cold, cold ground before I recognize Missouri
- 34:48Speaker 2: that is you.
- 34:49Speaker 3: It's me for sure? What cough? I don't know what
- 34:52Speaker 3: the conference there. They're independent, not the SEC, not the SEC,
- 34:56Speaker 3: not my SEC.
- 34:58Speaker 2: Do Missouri my SEC?
- 35:00Speaker 3: No my Southeastern Conference? Mm hmm.
- 35:04Speaker 4: Okay a little bit. They don't do anything. It's like
- 35:11Speaker 4: I said it, there's harmless.
- 35:12Speaker 3: I got it.
- 35:12Speaker 4: They don't do.
- 35:13Speaker 2: Earlier off air, before the show started, we were talking
- 35:17Speaker 2: about Spencer Rattler and you're like, whatever, I'm not gonna
- 35:19Speaker 2: die on that hill.
- 35:20Speaker 4: I'm not gonna die.
- 35:21Speaker 2: You will die on this Missouri hill.
- 35:24Speaker 3: You're right. It's like as soon as if I if
- 35:26Speaker 3: I make a stance, like I think Richard kind of
- 35:29Speaker 3: spilled the beans last week.
- 35:30Speaker 4: I'm pretty stubborn. No, so yeah, there's really nothing they
- 35:34Speaker 4: can do for me.
- 35:36Speaker 2: No, I mean, and that's fair. They don't. They don't
- 35:38Speaker 2: give SEC. They're literally in the Midwest. Like, isn't Missouri
- 35:44Speaker 2: the Midwest?
- 35:46Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean Oklahoma probably is too.
- 35:50Speaker 2: I mean, so why is a Midwestern school in my SEC?
- 35:55Speaker 3: That's a good question. So what part of the country
- 36:00Speaker 3: would Oklahoma be considered? I mean, I don't think it's Midwest,
- 36:05Speaker 3: like mid Michigan says.
- 36:10Speaker 2: Bureau classifies Missouri as a Midwestern state, So why is
- 36:14Speaker 2: it in the SEC? In the Southeastern Conference?
- 36:20Speaker 3: And that was like they joined before it was yeah
- 36:24Speaker 3: popular too, you know, before California teams were joining the
- 36:29Speaker 3: Big Ten.
- 36:29Speaker 2: So the Census classifies Oklahoma as the South, so they
- 36:34Speaker 2: have a claim to the SEC.
- 36:36Speaker 5: You're like, I got a map, Oklahoma just missed it.
- 36:40Speaker 5: So that's they just missed it. Oklahoma just snuck in pissed.
- 36:45Speaker 3: I don't know, I mean, I would I don't know
- 36:47Speaker 3: if I believe this map or not, because I always
- 36:51Speaker 3: heard when I was in Wisconsin that was part of
- 36:52Speaker 3: the Midwest, would so that would I would put like
- 36:57Speaker 3: Illinois in that as well. Tough situation. So there's a southeast,
- 37:02Speaker 3: but then there's just the south. And is the south
- 37:04Speaker 3: just Oklahoma? Texas?
- 37:09Speaker 5: I got I got a different one here for you
- 37:11Speaker 5: that kind of includes the state you're talking about.
- 37:16Speaker 1: This.
- 37:17Speaker 3: See this is still no Oklahoma, so they're definitely not Midwest.
- 37:22Speaker 2: Anyway. I'm just like one of the people that asks,
- 37:25Speaker 2: is the real questions? Okay, and so so why is
- 37:28Speaker 2: a Midwestern state in.
- 37:29Speaker 3: The and they joined before like people were like just
- 37:31Speaker 3: doing crazy things with their locations and conferences. I don't
- 37:35Speaker 3: get it whenever we say all that to just say no.
- 37:40Speaker 2: In the PAC twelve, isn't Texas state in the PAC twelve?
- 37:43Speaker 3: Or probably yeah, all the all the state anyway, what
- 37:47Speaker 3: name stinks? You know what else thinks? Jordan Tysons soft tissue.
- 37:53Speaker 5: Yeah, he suffered a hamstring injury. This was during the
- 38:01Speaker 5: joint practice. News came out for Friday about midday that
- 38:06Speaker 5: he had suffered this hamstring injuries about halfway through Thursday's
- 38:09Speaker 5: joint practice is when it happened. This is the same
- 38:13Speaker 5: hamstring that he had previously injured. However, I mean, Kellen
- 38:18Speaker 5: Moore says, it's not anything related to a previous hamstring injury.
- 38:23Speaker 5: It's something new, So we'll collect more information on that
- 38:26Speaker 5: put together a plan moving forward.
- 38:28Speaker 3: I guess that's better. I guess that's better that it's
- 38:30Speaker 3: new and not like a pre existing ham string.
- 38:33Speaker 5: And now he's got two issues, so I don't know.
- 38:36Speaker 3: Yeah trying. You said that, and I was like, which
- 38:38Speaker 3: one's better, Like which one would I guess the new
- 38:41Speaker 3: thing right now.
- 38:42Speaker 5: They haven't ruled him out officially for any length of time,
- 38:46Speaker 5: but there is belief that this could actually linger into
- 38:49Speaker 5: the Week one matchup against Detroit, so his status is
- 38:53Speaker 5: kind of up in the air for the start of
- 38:55Speaker 5: the season.
- 38:56Speaker 4: But we talked about this at the end of last week.
- 38:58Speaker 5: Last year, this would have been a plow if like,
- 39:00Speaker 5: you lose a Chris a Lave, dude, Bob Means was
- 39:03Speaker 5: your leading receiver on Saturday, it looked good, Berry on
- 39:06Speaker 5: Brown's look good.
- 39:06Speaker 4: You got Bryce Lance, you got Vele, you got Chris Alave, Like.
- 39:11Speaker 3: Yes, so much, I think you're okay, Yeah, you got
- 39:13Speaker 3: so much more depth, and of course we know Chris
- 39:15Speaker 3: a Lave has a little bit of an injury history
- 39:17Speaker 3: as well. If those guys can just like not be
- 39:20Speaker 3: out of the same time for an extended period of time,
- 39:22Speaker 3: like we know, seventeen weeks is all a long long
- 39:25Speaker 3: it's a long year, and it's a lot to ask
- 39:27Speaker 3: for a receiver to be healthy for all seventeen games,
- 39:30Speaker 3: especially one with history. And so the two are your
- 39:33Speaker 3: number one and two gonna be h have a history
- 39:35Speaker 3: with injuries. So it is one of those deals that
- 39:39Speaker 3: you're not gonna get him for seventeen games. I just
- 39:42Speaker 3: don't think that's in the cards. But if he can
- 39:45Speaker 3: fourteen fifteen games something like that, I think that's a
- 39:48Speaker 3: win at least on in year one. It's uh. In
- 39:53Speaker 3: a very short period of time, Jordan Tyson has proven
- 39:59Speaker 3: that the worry that everybody had was real, Like it
- 40:03Speaker 3: was right. People were correct to be worried about his
- 40:06Speaker 3: injury history, but he's also proven in a short period
- 40:09Speaker 3: of time that he was deserved of his draft position
- 40:12Speaker 3: as well. He is an elite receiver and an elite
- 40:15Speaker 3: route runner, and we've seen that now. We haven't been
- 40:17Speaker 3: able to see it in a preseason game. Of course,
- 40:18Speaker 3: there's only been one, but we've seen it in multiple,
- 40:21Speaker 3: multiple clips of him at practice. Looking as I watch
- 40:26Speaker 3: him run routes and I'm trying to judge him against
- 40:28Speaker 3: some veteran receivers and some of the best route were like,
- 40:30Speaker 3: he is an elite route runner right now, and it
- 40:33Speaker 3: is proof of It justifies the risk that was taken,
- 40:39Speaker 3: but also it justifies the risk that was there. And
- 40:43Speaker 3: that's going to be It's going to be the thing
- 40:45Speaker 3: to watch this year because if him and Alave can
- 40:47Speaker 3: both be healthy at the same time and Tyler Schuck
- 40:49Speaker 3: makes the jumps that we think it like, it's going
- 40:51Speaker 3: to be a danger, like it's going to be an
- 40:52Speaker 3: offensive people are going to fear and you know what
- 40:56Speaker 3: does that? Does that translate into a ton of wins?
- 40:59Speaker 3: I don't know, to be seen. How can the defense play,
- 41:02Speaker 3: So we'll see, but it's it's one of those things.
- 41:04Speaker 3: You got to get him healthy and you know, to
- 41:07Speaker 3: go back to what Kellen Moore said, I guess that
- 41:09Speaker 3: it's good that it was a new hamstring issue and
- 41:11Speaker 3: not an old one. You can look at it both ways.
- 41:14Speaker 3: You could probably make the argument both ways but it's
- 41:17Speaker 3: something to keep an eye on, and it's just one
- 41:18Speaker 3: of those deals that Saints fans. You gotta know this
- 41:20Speaker 3: first year, you're not gonna get seventeen out of them,
- 41:22Speaker 3: and it's probably gonna miss week one. Hopefully they can
- 41:25Speaker 3: get him back fully healthy for a week two, but
- 41:27Speaker 3: we'll see. We'll keep an eye on it. But if
- 41:29Speaker 3: he can be back and him and Lave can just
- 41:31Speaker 3: not miss both missed too many games at the same time,
- 41:35Speaker 3: I think this offense can still be deadly. All right, Well,
- 41:41Speaker 3: we'll talk a little bit more about those receivers who shine,
- 41:43Speaker 3: and we come back right here and off the bench.
- 41:46Speaker 2: Off the bench, all right?
- 41:48Speaker 4: Have you been injured?
- 41:49Speaker 3: Well, whether it's at your place of work, maybe it's

- 42:49Speaker 1: Off the bench with Hester and Flynn, presented by Buy
- 42:52Speaker 1: You Automotive, all right.
- 43:08Speaker 3: Looking back here off the bench, closing out our number
- 43:10Speaker 3: one laughing the Raising knees Studio Monday Show brought to
- 43:12Speaker 3: you every single week I Buy You Automotive.
- 43:16Speaker 4: Taylor, you just brought something to my attention.
- 43:18Speaker 2: That is it confused me.
- 43:21Speaker 4: It confused me.
- 43:22Speaker 2: I went back in time.
- 43:23Speaker 4: Yeah, there's a trial that starts this week.
- 43:28Speaker 5: Yeah, they're calling it the Tupac murdered trial. The guy
- 43:32Speaker 5: who's on trial is not actually being accused of murdering him,
- 43:36Speaker 5: but like an accessory too, right, like kind of calling
- 43:39Speaker 5: the shots out of Dwayne Davis be in a Las
- 43:43Speaker 5: Vegas courtroom today, h.
- 43:45Speaker 3: Thirty years ago. Trial September seventh, nineteen ninety six drive
- 43:48Speaker 3: by shooting in Las Vegas.
- 43:50Speaker 2: I killed Tupac Shakur sixty three. What are we you
- 43:55Speaker 2: going to get out of this?
- 43:57Speaker 3: Yeah, so let's see key evidence here. Prosecution's case relies
- 44:01Speaker 3: heavily on public statements, media interviews, and details from Davis's
- 44:06Speaker 3: twenty nineteen memoir, which in which he described himself as
- 44:10Speaker 3: an organizer of the shooting.
- 44:12Speaker 5: Way to go, Dwayne probably how they called him. Yeah,
- 44:16Speaker 5: they say he supplied the weapon orchestrated the attack, you know,
- 44:20Speaker 5: has some sort of retaliation, So they don't think he
- 44:22Speaker 5: fired the shot, but he was kind of the man
- 44:24Speaker 5: with the plan.
- 44:25Speaker 3: Well, if we could finally get a little bit of
- 44:27Speaker 3: justice for Tupac, I agree. Thirty years after murder trial
- 44:30Speaker 3: starts today.
- 44:33Speaker 2: Interesting stuff doesn't move the needle for me.
- 44:36Speaker 3: No, I mean, are you kidding me?
- 44:39Speaker 1: No?
- 44:39Speaker 2: Tupac and rest in peace plus his soul.
- 44:42Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean I just made a memoir. He told him.
- 44:45Speaker 4: He did it, all right? Stick with us, Off the bench.
