- 0:00SPEAKER_00: Your world is your responsibility, whether you want to take that responsibility or not.
- 0:05SPEAKER_00: And if you decide to take that responsibility, you'll be able to do quite a few things.
- 0:11SPEAKER_00: And if you don't decide to take that responsibility, your world will be very limited.
- 0:15SPEAKER_00: And it'll be limited in very specific ways.
- 0:18SPEAKER_00: And usually the specifics around how it's limited has a lot to do with how we grew up, and they always have to do with what our belief systems are.
- 0:29SPEAKER_01: Welcome to Reclaiming Consciousness.
- 0:31SPEAKER_01: My name is Elise Bassine, spiritual mentor, breathwork practitioner, and owner and CEO of Elise Breeds.
- 0:38SPEAKER_01: For many years, our consciousness has been hijacked by societal and cultural programming, religion, the media, and familial and ancestral trauma.
- 0:47SPEAKER_01: Right now, during this epic time in history, people are waking up, realizing who they really are, and reclaiming the pieces of their consciousness that they unknowingly gave away.
- 0:59SPEAKER_01: This podcast is an exploration of how so many spectacular humans are leading the way in exiting the matrix and reclaiming who they really are and what they're capable of.
- 1:10SPEAKER_01: In this show, you'll meet exceptional people who are paving the way in raising consciousness and creating a new way of living on this earth.
- 1:17SPEAKER_01: Get ready to go deep.
- 1:19SPEAKER_01: Now let's dive in.
- 1:25SPEAKER_02: Hi everyone, and welcome back to Reclaiming Consciousness.
- 1:29SPEAKER_02: I love, love, love this week's episode.
- 1:32SPEAKER_02: So this week I had one of my best friends, longtime friend, spiritual buddy and gross buddy, Dr.
- 1:43SPEAKER_02: Word Smith.
- 1:44SPEAKER_02: His name's Ed Word.
- 1:45SPEAKER_02: He goes by Word, but I call him Ed because I've known him since we were kids.
- 1:49SPEAKER_02: And we talk about this on the episode.
- 1:51SPEAKER_02: But he was actually on the podcast like back in 2021.
- 1:56SPEAKER_02: And I had him back on because I wanted to talk about the last round of work that we did together going both ways.
- 2:05SPEAKER_02: So we've been working with each other for a long time.
- 2:08SPEAKER_02: And he helped me really create some big shifts around some long-standing issues I had around shame as it relates to money and had some huge breakthroughs around that with him.
- 2:21SPEAKER_02: And then I helped him dissolve a very longstanding relationship pattern that was showing up in his life in multiple different ways and had felt very, very challenging to shift.
- 2:36SPEAKER_02: And we shifted it, and that resulted in a lot of really cool things happening in his life, which he talks about.
- 2:42SPEAKER_02: And we also talk about his work and his philosophy around energy work and these really cool wealth readings that he's offering right now.
- 2:54SPEAKER_02: So it's just such a great episode.
- 2:55SPEAKER_02: And I just love these episodes where I'm talking to like my best friends because they just make for really great conversation.
- 3:03SPEAKER_02: I think it's so apparent when you're listening to a podcast and the two people have like a great energy between them and they know each other really well.
- 3:11SPEAKER_02: And I feel like it just kind of creates a really great conversation.
- 3:15SPEAKER_02: So you are going to really benefit from listening to this.
- 3:20SPEAKER_02: Probably have a lot of really great takeaways.
- 3:22SPEAKER_02: So I know you're going to enjoy the episode and also definitely check out his wealth readings.
- 3:28SPEAKER_02: They are super affordable and his work, you guys, is like incredibly powerful.
- 3:33SPEAKER_02: He is a wizard or a shaman or one of those things.
- 3:37SPEAKER_02: Um, his ability to shift energy is unparalleled, in my opinion.
- 3:42SPEAKER_02: So you definitely want to check him out and take advantage of doing one of these sessions with him because he probably won't be charging this price for very long.
- 3:51SPEAKER_02: Follow him on Instagram.
- 3:53SPEAKER_02: I've linked everything below.
- 3:55SPEAKER_02: And I just believe wholeheartedly in his work, mainly because of the results that I've gotten from it.
- 4:02SPEAKER_02: I am super excited because I am offering starting next week what is called the mini morphoses.
- 4:10SPEAKER_02: And I'm so excited about it because this is your opportunity for only$55 to receive some really powerful tools and processes from me that will help you create permanent change and results in your life.
- 4:27SPEAKER_02: So the way that this is gonna work, and I'm so excited about this.
- 4:30SPEAKER_02: The Mini Morphosis is a five-day telegram chat.
- 4:35SPEAKER_02: And how it works is when you sign up, it's only$55 until Friday.
- 4:40SPEAKER_02: That'll be tomorrow, actually.
- 4:42SPEAKER_02: So you might want to sign up now.
- 4:43SPEAKER_02: So it's gonna be five days.
- 4:45SPEAKER_02: And when you sign up, you'll get a form to fill out with a few questions just about like what is your biggest challenge right now, and what is the result that you really want to create.
- 4:54SPEAKER_02: And then for five days, I'm gonna be coming into the chat and giving you really targeted specific tools and processes that you can use to create a result around the thing that you want to change.
- 5:07SPEAKER_02: So, one of the reasons why my clients get such great results is because of the tools and processes that I create for them.
- 5:14SPEAKER_02: Because so many people where they fall short is like knowing what the problem is, but then not knowing how to change it.
- 5:21SPEAKER_02: Like so many people know what their issue is or what their block is, and they even know where it came from, but they don't know how to change it.
- 5:29SPEAKER_02: And that's what I really feel so passionately about helping you do is giving you tools and processes that I create specifically for you that you can use and apply to create a permanent result.
- 5:43SPEAKER_02: I've created so many processes for my clients.
- 5:45SPEAKER_02: I'm actually getting ready to add some more things into the metamorphosis because since I started it, I've added so many new processes.
- 5:53SPEAKER_02: Like I have this whole process around how to shift your energy when you're triggered.
- 5:57SPEAKER_02: I have a whole process around how to heal and reconcile the inner child and directly address the inner child when you're triggered in order for a trigger to shift.
- 6:08SPEAKER_02: I'm actually going to do a bonus group breastwork session inside the metamorphosis this time around.
- 6:14SPEAKER_02: And the metamorphosis is starting next week, by the way.
- 6:17SPEAKER_02: I'm going to be doing a bonus breastwork session that's going to be an entire inner child healing and reconciliation that's going to completely change your life.
- 6:27SPEAKER_02: So you definitely don't want to miss that.
- 6:29SPEAKER_02: So if you're not signed up for the metamorphosis, you might want to think about it.
- 6:34SPEAKER_02: So my tools and processes that I create for people are one of the things that sets my work apart.
- 6:40SPEAKER_02: They are based in my 23 years of experience with trauma and also my ability to really tune into energetically what really needs to change and what is the shift you really need to make on a very deep internal and energetic level.
- 6:55SPEAKER_02: And then I create step-by-step processes for you to take yourself through daily in order to create a permanent change and create a new way of operating.
- 7:06SPEAKER_02: If you have been thinking about the metamorphosis, but you're not sure if you wanted to make the money investment, the time investment, the energy investment, this is a great way to see what really happens inside there because it's you're going to get a little taste.
- 7:21SPEAKER_02: You're going to walk away from this mini morphosis, being able to create a permanent result for yourself in that area that you really want to create a change in.
- 7:31SPEAKER_02: This is so exciting because I'm calling it like it's literally like five months of therapy in five days for$55.
- 7:38SPEAKER_02: And five is a number of change.
- 7:40SPEAKER_02: So if you're ready to change, this is the place for you.
- 7:43SPEAKER_02: And I love doing these small little things, especially inside of Telegram.
- 7:47SPEAKER_02: And when I say small little things, I just mean like a short thing.
- 7:51SPEAKER_02: It's not small or little because it's going to create a big result.
- 7:55SPEAKER_02: But, you know, the one caveat is that you have to show up and you have to apply the work.
- 7:59SPEAKER_02: And that's what's going to create the change.
- 8:01SPEAKER_02: So as long as you apply the tools and processes that I give you, you will get a result.
- 8:06SPEAKER_02: So just some examples of the kinds of like processes that I create.
- 8:10SPEAKER_02: I've created a step-by-step process on how to create safety in your body, right?
- 8:14SPEAKER_02: Because so much of what people experience, the triggers they experience and the anxiety they experience is around not feeling safe, not feeling safe in their environment, not feeling safe in their body.
- 8:24SPEAKER_02: So I created a process to help you create safety in your body.
- 8:28SPEAKER_02: I've created a process to shift your energy when you're triggered.
- 8:31SPEAKER_02: I've created a process to address the inner child when you get triggered so that you can heal and reconcile and address what's actually happening instead of, you know, trying to change your circumstances, which is never what your trigger is about.
- 8:44SPEAKER_02: So there's so many different ones.
- 8:46SPEAKER_02: I have one about how to stop telling yourself stories that aren't helping you.
- 8:52SPEAKER_02: I have one about how to bring yourself back to a neutral state when you're triggered.
- 8:58SPEAKER_02: There's so many different ones.
- 8:59SPEAKER_02: It really just depends on what it is that you need.
- 9:03SPEAKER_02: And, you know, I have one for when you are afraid of what other people think.
- 9:08SPEAKER_02: I have a process to shift that energy.
- 9:10SPEAKER_02: So this is what I'm talking about.
- 9:12SPEAKER_02: Like these tools and processes are really what sets my work apart and what makes my methodology so unique is because not only are we pinpointing and acknowledging trauma, but I'm also giving you a path forward to navigate your way through and out of it.
- 9:30SPEAKER_02: And that's what these processes are.
- 9:31SPEAKER_02: And this is what you're going to get inside the mini morphosis.
- 9:35SPEAKER_02: So we're going to link it below.
- 9:37SPEAKER_02: Sign up now.
- 9:38SPEAKER_02: I can't wait to do this with you guys.
- 9:40SPEAKER_02: It's going to be so fun because this is what I love to do.
- 9:44SPEAKER_02: And I love watching people get really big results from this stuff.
- 9:47SPEAKER_02: But it's going to be$55 until the end of the day on Friday, and then it's going to go up to 97.
- 9:53SPEAKER_02: I can't wait to see you there.
- 9:54SPEAKER_02: Also, reach out if you have any questions about anything else, about the metamorphosis.
- 9:58SPEAKER_02: We start that next week on the 13th.
- 10:01SPEAKER_02: I will leave it there.
- 10:02SPEAKER_02: I'm sending you guys lots of love and I will talk to you soon.
- 10:05SPEAKER_02: Enjoy the episode.
- 10:09SPEAKER_02: Hi, everyone.
- 10:10SPEAKER_02: Welcome back to the show.
- 10:12SPEAKER_02: So I am so excited to have today's guest back on the show.
- 10:17SPEAKER_02: And if you've been listening since the beginning, you might remember him.
- 10:21SPEAKER_02: He was on the show in the very beginning.
- 10:23SPEAKER_02: He's one of my oldest, dearest, closest friends, Dr.
- 10:28SPEAKER_02: Word Smith.
- 10:29SPEAKER_02: Welcome to the show.
- 10:30SPEAKER_00: Hi, Elise.
- 10:31SPEAKER_00: Thanks for having me back.
- 10:32SPEAKER_02: When was I on your last?
- 10:33SPEAKER_02: I was like three or four.
- 10:35SPEAKER_02: Oh my God.
- 10:35SPEAKER_02: It was like 2021.
- 10:37SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah.
- 10:38SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 10:38SPEAKER_00: I feel like a completely different person.
- 10:41SPEAKER_00: And I'm really grateful to be here again.
- 10:45SPEAKER_00: And yeah, I hope your listeners get a lot out of this.
- 10:48SPEAKER_02: They will, I'm sure.
- 10:50SPEAKER_02: So can you just give everyone just like a brief intro to you, like who you are and what you do?
- 10:57SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I'll tell a little bit about my background.
- 11:01SPEAKER_00: I've been doing holistic therapies and things of that nature.
- 11:07SPEAKER_00: I don't know.
- 11:07SPEAKER_00: I guess for like 25 years or something, it seems like really long.
- 11:11SPEAKER_00: When I tell people that, they're like, wait, how old are you?
- 11:15SPEAKER_02: I know.
- 11:16SPEAKER_02: Damn.
- 11:16SPEAKER_02: We like started it together.
- 11:18SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it was around the same time.
- 11:19SPEAKER_00: So basically the late 90s.
- 11:23unknown: Yeah.
- 11:23SPEAKER_02: Wait, can we just like really quickly tell the story of when we met?
- 11:28SPEAKER_00: How much do you want your listeners to know about you?
- 11:31SPEAKER_00: I mean, I I'm okay with it.
- 11:33SPEAKER_02: No, it's just like the best story because it just shows the evolution too.
- 11:38SPEAKER_02: Because when I first met, and by the way, this wasn't even when we first met, but this was like when we first had words.
- 11:46SPEAKER_02: Because I always knew who you were.
- 11:48SPEAKER_02: So just for background for everyone, we lived, grew up, oh my God, a quarter of a mile from each other, very close together in the same neighborhood.
- 11:57SPEAKER_02: And we've gone to school throughout our lives together.
- 12:01SPEAKER_02: But you are what four years older than me?
- 12:03SPEAKER_02: You're four grades older than me.
- 12:05SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I'm three years older.
- 12:06SPEAKER_00: You're four grades older than me.
- 12:08SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 12:08SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 12:09SPEAKER_02: So I always knew who you were, but I didn't ever speak to you until this day.
- 12:15SPEAKER_02: Would you like to tell about it?
- 12:18SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 12:18SPEAKER_00: I had a crew of friends we called the GIMPs, okay, in high school.
- 12:23SPEAKER_02: And they were like really cool and all good looking.
- 12:28SPEAKER_00: And the youngest of them, who was especially good looking, who'd always have hot girlfriends, he one day brought Elise to the basement where we hung out and did things that I don't know, I guess you should do as a 16-year-old, but are are illegal as a 16-year-old.
- 12:46SPEAKER_00: And I mean I was 17, I think.
- 12:48SPEAKER_00: Elise was 15.
- 12:50SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I think I was 15.
- 12:52SPEAKER_02: And by the way, this was like a monumental moment in my life because I remember when I first started ninth grade, not to go too much off track, but I just want to lay the groundwork.
- 13:03SPEAKER_02: I want everyone to understand.
- 13:04SPEAKER_02: When I entered ninth grade, there was like a few guys that we like noticed immediately once we started high school that we were like, oh my God, those are like the best looking guys we've ever seen.
- 13:15SPEAKER_02: And one of them was this one, your friend, who brought me to this party, but he literally reached out to my friend on AOL, like messenger or something.
- 13:27SPEAKER_02: Or like AOL.
- 13:28SPEAKER_02: I don't even know if it was AOL messenger yet.
- 13:30SPEAKER_02: It was just AOL, like instant message or something.
- 13:34SPEAKER_02: He reached out to her on AOL and asked about me.
- 13:38SPEAKER_02: And I thought I died and went to heaven.
- 13:40SPEAKER_02: Like my life might as well have been over at that point.
- 13:43SPEAKER_02: If you would have asked me at that point, what is the best possible thing that could ever happen to you?
- 13:48SPEAKER_02: I would have said that and it happened.
- 13:50SPEAKER_02: So here we are.
- 13:51SPEAKER_02: Okay, so he brings me to the party.
- 13:54SPEAKER_00: So he brings her to the party.
- 13:56SPEAKER_00: We're down in my friend's basement, seeing who can get the most wasted.
- 14:02SPEAKER_00: And Elise, who is just sitting there very quiet, looking very like a cute child, is nursing her 40.
- 14:11SPEAKER_00: And I say, Why aren't you drinking your 40?
- 14:15SPEAKER_00: And I started calling her Young Bull, which in Philly, Philly terms means someone who's a child or something like that.
- 14:22SPEAKER_00: I was messing with her, as was the custom at the time.
- 14:26SPEAKER_00: And I just did that all night because she was in our basement and she was a newcomer.
- 14:31SPEAKER_00: Small hazing for the new girl.
- 14:33SPEAKER_02: Yeah, but you were like very intimidating.
- 14:35SPEAKER_02: Because then every time I would go back there, you're like, young gull.
- 14:38SPEAKER_02: And you were like so intimidating.
- 14:40SPEAKER_02: And I was like, oh my god.
- 14:41SPEAKER_02: I was like scared of you.
- 14:43SPEAKER_02: And that was like our first relationship was like you hazing me and me being afraid of you.
- 14:49SPEAKER_02: And look where we are now.
- 14:51SPEAKER_03: So no similar positions.
- 14:55SPEAKER_02: Basically, yeah.
- 14:57SPEAKER_00: No, no, and and thank you.
- 14:58SPEAKER_00: And then we went to the same college.
- 15:00SPEAKER_00: Me, her, my brother, and some other friends.
- 15:03SPEAKER_00: We all went to the same school.
- 15:05SPEAKER_02: And also lived down the street from each other.
- 15:07SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 15:08SPEAKER_00: I wonder if it was the same distance.
- 15:09SPEAKER_00: She was like I feel like it was closer.
- 15:12SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it was.
- 15:12SPEAKER_00: You live like four blocks away, five blocks.
- 15:15SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and then we started hanging out in school, and then near the end of school, we both started getting into holistic, natural healing, yoga, breath work, energy kind of stuff.
- 15:28SPEAKER_00: And yeah, we started doing a trade.
- 15:31SPEAKER_00: Is that confidential?
- 15:32SPEAKER_00: I don't know.
- 15:32SPEAKER_00: We started doing a trade.
- 15:34SPEAKER_02: No, I feel like we've always been doing some kind of trade or another.
- 15:38SPEAKER_00: That's true.
- 15:39SPEAKER_02: One trade or another.
- 15:41SPEAKER_00: In 2002, in the summer.
- 15:43SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and we haven't stopped.
- 15:45SPEAKER_00: Here we are.
- 15:46SPEAKER_02: We really haven't stopped.
- 15:47SPEAKER_02: I mean, we've had our ups and downs.
- 15:49SPEAKER_00: There's been ups and downs.
- 15:50SPEAKER_00: I think any good friendship has got ups and downs.
- 15:53SPEAKER_02: For sure.
- 15:54SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 15:54SPEAKER_02: And we've really been kind of like partners on the spiritual journey, for sure.
- 16:02SPEAKER_02: And we've really helped each other in a lot of ways.
- 16:05SPEAKER_02: But then I feel like as we both have gotten better at what we do, we've really sped up the pace at the rate that we've been able to help each other with very specific things.
- 16:17SPEAKER_00: That is extremely true.
- 16:18SPEAKER_00: I don't know.
- 16:19SPEAKER_00: It's kind of interesting.
- 16:20SPEAKER_00: You can have friends for like a year or 10 years or 20.
- 16:23SPEAKER_00: But even if you have some friends are for a longer period of time, you're not always on the same page as them.
- 16:29SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 16:29SPEAKER_00: So it's it is a kind of special blessing in my life to have you as a friend because I actually still feel like we're friends.
- 16:36SPEAKER_00: You're not like a high school friend that I just like am cool with still, or something like that.
- 16:42SPEAKER_00: And yes, even our most recent trades, work on each other has yielded amazing results.
- 16:50SPEAKER_00: I mean, I feel like I might be wrong, or maybe it's my own pride or something.
- 16:55SPEAKER_00: I don't know.
- 16:56SPEAKER_00: But I feel like the work we do on each other, I feel like it would take people years, some of it, honestly.
- 17:02SPEAKER_02: Oh my God.
- 17:03SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 17:04SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 17:04SPEAKER_02: And also I will say, like, whenever I work with somebody that is a really great practitioner themselves, they always move way faster too.
- 17:17SPEAKER_02: And there's only been a handful of those people, but I do find that because once you kind of figure something out or pinpoint something, the other person is just like boo.
- 17:29SPEAKER_02: And if you just get it because of your ability to do the work as well.
- 17:36SPEAKER_02: So do you want to talk about just a little more of not only your background, but what do you do?
- 17:41SPEAKER_02: Because my listeners know what I do.
- 17:43SPEAKER_02: So they would know what I the ways that I've helped you.
- 17:46SPEAKER_02: And we can talk about that too.
- 17:47SPEAKER_02: But like, because I know our work is similar but different.
- 17:50SPEAKER_02: And the other thing I want to say to my listeners also is that you're actually the one who taught me energy work.
- 17:57SPEAKER_02: So the energy work that I teach now is a me taking the foundation of what you taught me and then making it into my own thing.
- 18:07SPEAKER_02: So you're the one who really taught me energy work.
- 18:10SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 18:11SPEAKER_00: And even that, it's an incredible evolution for you.
- 18:14SPEAKER_00: I mean, I love having students like you.
- 18:16SPEAKER_00: I mean, obviously we're friends too.
- 18:18SPEAKER_00: So there's like a dual thing, but you just took it on so fast and you put it to practice immediately in your life and then other people's life.
- 18:26SPEAKER_00: And then you changed it to fit, you know, your personality, the things you know.
- 18:32SPEAKER_00: And yeah, I'm super proud of what you've done with it and all the people you've helped.
- 18:36SPEAKER_00: So thank you.
- 18:37SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 18:37SPEAKER_00: And so what I do, I do a lot of things, but as far as my work with people, I just try to use the most efficient ways to change people's lives to help them evolve and move forward as I can.
- 18:51SPEAKER_00: And I've learned a lot of different techniques.
- 18:53SPEAKER_00: You know, I did body work for like 20 plus years.
- 18:56SPEAKER_00: I've done different forms of energy work, like Reiki and Qigong.
- 19:00SPEAKER_00: I'm a medical Qigong doctor.
- 19:02SPEAKER_00: I have that training, and I went to medical Qigong school, which there's only one of in the whole continent or something.
- 19:11SPEAKER_00: But I did do that, and I've taken all those skills along with just intuitive training.
- 19:16SPEAKER_00: I feel like I've came in with a strong intuition, but I honed it over a few decades of just like in my own life, like just seeing what works for me and what doesn't, and then making decisions based on okay, this would be a rational decision, but then what does my intuition say?
- 19:34SPEAKER_00: And then seeing how things turn out, and yeah, finding the ways that actually work for me that are best, and then using that same skill set and applying it to other people's situations.
- 19:48SPEAKER_00: So I have a lot of formal training, several years of bodywork school and etc.
- 19:54SPEAKER_00: And you know, I'm trained in herbs and all that kind of stuff too.
- 19:58SPEAKER_00: But I have a lot of personal practical training that just came with just practicing all of this stuff for years and like really making it a lifestyle, not something that's just in books or not something that is just theoretical.
- 20:16SPEAKER_00: My work with people right now kind of puts all that stuff together, but the main highlights are I do my own kind of energy work, which basically means I at a distance, because most of my sessions are on the phone these days, I at a distance, I scan people's fields, their energy fields, and I'm a visual kind of guy, so I can see certain things, and I get like intuitive hits about them, their situation, their life, what they need, what they don't need.
- 20:49SPEAKER_00: I can tune into specific things like their breath, their their physical body, their posture.
- 20:55SPEAKER_00: And then we talk.
- 20:56SPEAKER_00: And the more I get to know somebody, the more accurate my advice or intuition or energy work gets.
- 21:03SPEAKER_00: I mean, which is another reason why me and Elise, me and you work together so well, is because we know each other so well.
- 21:09SPEAKER_00: So it's like boom, boom, boom.
- 21:11SPEAKER_00: Yeah, we don't need to tune in.
- 21:13SPEAKER_00: We have such a strong rapport already.
- 21:14SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 21:15SPEAKER_00: So yeah, that's what I do, along with some other extra things, depending on what people need, like nutritional counseling and that sort of thing.
- 21:22SPEAKER_02: Okay, so I want to get into too because typically when we develop our own way of doing things, it's usually because we needed it ourselves, right?
- 21:34SPEAKER_02: Like my all of my stuff is basically based on the shit that I needed.
- 21:39SPEAKER_02: What was the biggest like challenge for you or things that you like really had to overcome that you were looking to shift when you got into all this stuff?
- 21:49SPEAKER_02: What drew you to want to create changes and also become really good at this type of thing?
- 21:57SPEAKER_00: That's a really good question.
- 21:58SPEAKER_00: Well, what happened was.
- 22:00SPEAKER_00: I went away to school to Temple University in Philadelphia, which was a huge milestone in my life just because I left my parents' house and I left my hometown.
- 22:12SPEAKER_00: And so that was a huge shift in itself.
- 22:14SPEAKER_00: I was super excited.
- 22:15SPEAKER_00: I was already somewhat familiar with the city from going to like parties and stuff.
- 22:20SPEAKER_00: But this was big.
- 22:22SPEAKER_00: And so when I went to school, about a month in, somebody told me there was a kickboxing club.
- 22:28SPEAKER_00: I was like, what?
- 22:29SPEAKER_00: I can learn how to kick people?
- 22:30SPEAKER_00: Finally.
- 22:31SPEAKER_00: I was so excited.
- 22:32SPEAKER_00: And it wasn't actually a kickboxing club, it was a taekwondo club, which is kicking and punching, but it was just funny they said kickboxing, because it's not.
- 22:41SPEAKER_00: So I started doing that.
- 22:43SPEAKER_00: And I'd wanted to do martial arts since I was like five, since I watched the Kung Fu movies on Billy 57 at Sunday mornings at 11 or whatever.
- 22:55SPEAKER_00: And I was really excited.
- 22:58SPEAKER_00: And I worked really, really, really hard.
- 23:00SPEAKER_00: And I went from super inflexible to doing splits.
- 23:03SPEAKER_00: I went from unable to do certain things to captain of the team and really excelling, winning a lot because that was a it was a tournament-based thing.
- 23:12SPEAKER_00: It was super exciting, but some strange things started to happen to me when I started to really go deep.
- 23:19SPEAKER_00: And now I have context for them.
- 23:22SPEAKER_00: But at the time I had no context.
- 23:24SPEAKER_00: And what happened was I started to have all these paranormal things go on because I was a philosophy major and I was constantly thinking about very deep things because that was my major.
- 23:35SPEAKER_00: And I was doing all I was doing a lot of stretching because I was doing Taekwondo, and it really pays to be flexible in that art.
- 23:42SPEAKER_00: And what I came to understand is what I was opening my energy channels, right?
- 23:46SPEAKER_00: Which are closely related to the muscles.
- 23:48SPEAKER_00: And I was training very hard and I was thinking very deeply about life.
- 23:52SPEAKER_00: And basically that's the training monks go through in like monasteries, like Buddhist monasteries or Taoist monasteries.
- 24:00SPEAKER_00: And the reason they go through that training is because it opens you up so that you can meditate and you can have like deep realizations about the universe and teach people wisdom and stuff.
- 24:10SPEAKER_00: And that's what happened to me.
- 24:12SPEAKER_00: But I wasn't in a monastery, I was in North Philly, North Philly, and I wasn't a monk, I was doing everything to have sex, and I was constantly partying.
- 24:25SPEAKER_00: I was a party promoter too, so I was just constantly partying, which was fine.
- 24:30SPEAKER_00: But the point is, everything started to shift, and I started to have deep realizations about my life and the world and others, and I started to see things too, okay.
- 24:43SPEAKER_00: Like what?
- 24:44SPEAKER_00: I started to see all kinds of energetic stuff.
- 24:47SPEAKER_00: I'll tell you the story.
- 24:48SPEAKER_00: So I was stretching one time, and like, I don't know, I might have been high, but I was stretching and I was just doing like a forward fold, like Janus Rasana, like touching my head to my knee in a forward fold, yeah, like sitting down, and I could see through my leg and I could see all the muscles, and I could see the colors, and it was one color if it was tight, it was one color if it was loose, it was one color if it was engaged, like a muscle I was using, another color if it wasn't, like, and I could see all of it, and I was like, wait, what?
- 25:18SPEAKER_00: Uh huh.
- 25:19SPEAKER_00: And it was accurate to my feeling, and I was like, it wasn't random, or it wasn't like some hallucination in the sense of some random thing.
- 25:26SPEAKER_00: I could actually see what was going on in my muscles through my third eye because my forehead was touching my leg.
- 25:33SPEAKER_00: And I was like, Wow, okay, that's really cool and accurate, you know, and I grew up on comic books, I grew up on X-Men and Spider-Man and Thor.
- 25:46SPEAKER_00: And so it wasn't that weird to me, actually.
- 25:48SPEAKER_00: I was like, okay, I'm an X-Men, I kind of already knew that.
- 25:52SPEAKER_00: But so that stuff started to happen, and like more and more, more psychic events, more like kind of seeing people's auras, I started seeing spirits, I started seeing all this stuff, and there was no one to talk to about it.
- 26:06SPEAKER_00: I knew people wouldn't get it, or I tried to talk and they like looked at me weird.
- 26:10SPEAKER_00: And at some point, it just clicked in me that I'm like, if there's a whole world like this and no one's talking about it, I could have literally, I was either gonna go get my master's in like law or finance or something, I don't know, or I could just be this like spiritual, like shaman magician, sorcerer.
- 26:31SPEAKER_00: I'm like, I pick sorcerer, so that's what happened.
- 26:37SPEAKER_02: Your brother became the doctor, and you became the the sorcerer.
- 26:42SPEAKER_00: I know.
- 26:42SPEAKER_00: I have a doctorate in sorcery.
- 26:45SPEAKER_00: Yeah, exactly.
- 26:46SPEAKER_00: My brother, who's also gifted in in these ways, became a doctor of psychiatry, which is great for him.
- 26:52SPEAKER_00: So, yeah, that was my path, and it's been amazing, and here we are.
- 26:57SPEAKER_02: Let's see, I feel like there's a bunch of different things that first of all, I think it's important to share too, just about the other stuff that you do, too.
- 27:06SPEAKER_02: Because not only are you this, but you also translate Tibetan and do all can we just give the whole picture?
- 27:14SPEAKER_02: Like, yes, all the stuff is amazing, but I want the whole picture of all the other stuff that you do because you are just very intellectually robust.
- 27:24SPEAKER_02: Let's put it that way.
- 27:25SPEAKER_00: Thank you.
- 27:26SPEAKER_00: I always kind of laugh because I got a philosophy degree, and the kind of the joke with the philosophy degree is what are you gonna use that for?
- 27:34SPEAKER_00: And I literally teach philosophy, so I'm just kind of laughing at everyone.
- 27:38SPEAKER_00: I actually use my bachelor's degree, which is rare these days.
- 27:43SPEAKER_00: Yeah, so I'm a translator.
- 27:45SPEAKER_00: I translate Buddhist texts mostly, some other things too, but mostly I'm trained in Tibetan, and that was a Buddhist country for like, I don't know, like a thousand years or something.
- 27:57SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I I translate Buddhist texts in Tibetan, mostly some Chinese and some Sanskrit as well.
- 28:04SPEAKER_00: I have a translation school.
- 28:06SPEAKER_00: I teach, I have 27 students.
- 28:08SPEAKER_00: We've translated about a hundred books, not to the level of we're ready to publish, but as a means for the school and to eventually publish.
- 28:19SPEAKER_00: So what they're learning is incredible, and I I'm super excited.
- 28:23SPEAKER_00: I have one book published with my teacher.
- 28:26SPEAKER_00: It's called The Golden Key by Dr.
- 28:28SPEAKER_00: Word Smith and uh Geshi Michael Roach.
- 28:31SPEAKER_00: We're working on another one right now.
- 28:33SPEAKER_00: It's kind of a part two to that book, similar material.
- 28:38SPEAKER_00: And yeah, it's really hard work, and it feels like it needs to happen in the world.
- 28:44SPEAKER_00: These books are amazing.
- 28:46SPEAKER_00: My teacher likes to say they're all like the Bible or something, like they're just some great reservoir of spiritual knowledge, whatever you think about religion or whatever, which is fine.
- 28:54SPEAKER_00: But there's incredible ideas in them, some of which have never been translated into the West.
- 28:58SPEAKER_00: You can't find them on Instagram or Google or anything.
- 29:03SPEAKER_00: Some of them have never been typed out, so there's no they're in a monastery somewhere in the Himalayas or something.
- 29:09SPEAKER_00: And so the greater organization I work for actually goes to the Himalayas or wherever they're stored, pretty much everywhere from Japan to northern India, and finds the books and then types them out, so then they're they're actually accessible.
- 29:27SPEAKER_00: And then a group of us, yeah, we translate them.
- 29:31SPEAKER_00: It's super exciting work, although it can be difficult and arduous at times because they're old books and there's a lot of things that happened.
- 29:39SPEAKER_00: Books after a thousand years or more.
- 29:41SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 29:42SPEAKER_02: Well, it's interesting because I've been, and I know you you've always been super interested in like language and linguistics and stuff like that.
- 29:49SPEAKER_02: I've recently, I don't want to say study, but I've been interested more in like linguistics in the sense that it literally forms our reality.
- 30:00SPEAKER_02: Like language literally forms our reality.
- 30:03SPEAKER_02: And I guess that can lead us back into like your work.
- 30:06SPEAKER_02: It makes sense that that would be interesting to you because when you think about the idea of language, even if you think about, okay, like this is a phone, like who made up that name and what that means.
- 30:19SPEAKER_02: And like the frequency and energy of that is like literally making me see this a certain way, right?
- 30:25SPEAKER_02: So it's like a really powerful thing that I think we all just kind of like take for granted.
- 30:32SPEAKER_02: And I think that's was one of the most powerful things around like the energy work and learning that from you and how that has informed not only the energy work that I do, but even when I help people create like affirmations, for example, or just work in general.
- 30:48SPEAKER_02: It's the way that we use words, is like really, really, really important because it literally creates reality.
- 30:58SPEAKER_02: So that kind of makes sense the way it all fits together.
- 31:01SPEAKER_02: What I'd really like to talk about is just a little more of the work that we've done together most recently on either side, because I just get super excited about this stuff because it's really the only thing that excites me in the world, other than you know, like I love my kids and stuff too.
- 31:19SPEAKER_02: I'm not sure, but like it's like the most exciting thing to talk about.
- 31:23SPEAKER_02: So I'd love to talk about the work that we've done together, like the shifts that you made, and then the shifts that I made, and then we can also talk about what you're currently offering in your business right now and all of that.
- 31:35SPEAKER_00: What you just said about language is a great place to kind of segue.
- 31:39SPEAKER_00: I think what I don't get to talk about that often is like the underpinnings of the work I do and what makes it so effective.
- 31:46SPEAKER_00: And what makes it so effective is the philosophy because the philosophy is quite practical.
- 31:51SPEAKER_00: I'm really obsessed with being practical.
- 31:53SPEAKER_00: I mean, I love ideas, I love to think about stuff, but honestly, who cares if it doesn't help you or help somebody else?
- 31:59SPEAKER_00: I don't.
- 32:00SPEAKER_02: I totally agree.
- 32:02SPEAKER_00: And if you're in my position, I like to put my money where my mouth is.
- 32:06SPEAKER_00: Truly, I'll give people their money back if they're like, you didn't help me at all.
- 32:09SPEAKER_00: And it's pretty much impossible unless you completely don't do what you I tell you to do or block it somehow.
- 32:15SPEAKER_00: It's impossible that it won't help because of the underpinnings.
- 32:18SPEAKER_00: And the the basic underpinning is this you your world is your responsibility, whether you want to take that responsibility or not.
- 32:26SPEAKER_00: And if you decide to take that responsibility, you will you'll be able to do quite a few things.
- 32:33SPEAKER_00: And if you don't decide to take that responsibility, your world will be very limited.
- 32:38SPEAKER_00: And it'll be limited in very specific ways.
- 32:40SPEAKER_00: And usually the specifics around how it's limited has a lot to do with how we grew up, and they always have to do with what our belief systems are, what we believe, how we think, which then becomes our language, becomes how we speak, what we speak about, and our habits.
- 32:58SPEAKER_00: And that's it.
- 32:59SPEAKER_00: If you want to change your world or how you feel, you change what you're doing, you change how you think, you change how you speak to people and to yourself, your your self-talk, how you view yourself and those things.
- 33:12SPEAKER_00: And that's why it works so fast.
- 33:14SPEAKER_00: And if you're willing to listen to people with sense around you, you know, don't listen to everyone because they might not know you or they might not understand.
- 33:24SPEAKER_00: But if you can find some people you trust and they're close to you and they know you, just ask them, what do I do that might be ruining my life?
- 33:34SPEAKER_00: And they'll know.
- 33:35SPEAKER_00: You were always the last to know.
- 33:38SPEAKER_00: Everyone in the office knows what you do that's annoying, right?
- 33:41SPEAKER_00: Totally.
- 33:42SPEAKER_00: Everyone at work knows it's you're the one who doesn't know.
- 33:45SPEAKER_00: So if you're just open and humble and ask and then change your behavior based on what you find out, then yeah, it'll all shift.
- 33:54SPEAKER_00: And my work is just like a hyper, just taking that to the nth extent.
- 33:59SPEAKER_02: Yeah, like on steroids, basically.
- 34:02SPEAKER_00: Exactly.
- 34:02SPEAKER_00: It's just taking Uber responsibility for your life.
- 34:05SPEAKER_00: That's all.
- 34:06SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 34:06SPEAKER_02: And that's not always easy, too, I will say.
- 34:09SPEAKER_02: And like you and I have recently helped each other shift some really deep-seated patterns, which I'd like to talk about because I want to kind of like illustrate what this looks like.
- 34:21SPEAKER_02: So basically, you've been repeating the same relationship pattern basically your whole life, which is a result of your relationship with your mother directly and also your sister as well.
- 34:36SPEAKER_02: And basically that pattern is because you were growing up and you were empathetic, sensitive, open, and incredibly, dare I say, genius level smart, although that's just like a fact.
- 34:50SPEAKER_02: You were able to see that your mom was struggling.
- 34:53SPEAKER_02: And then in an effort to get your needs met, you then took responsibility for making sure she was okay in a very extreme way, right?
- 35:03SPEAKER_02: So, meaning because she was struggling and because you were so smart, those like two extremes came together to create a very extreme dynamic of believing that relationships meant you basically saving or taking care of the person you were with, but to an extreme that it's almost like if you didn't do that, then that person won't survive, or that person will just not be okay and just whatever, not survive, be like on the street, like all of the most horrible things.
- 35:37SPEAKER_02: And that was essentially the pattern at its deepest level.
- 35:41SPEAKER_02: And what happened was you were creating relationships where you ended up having to do this, but then not enjoying the relationship because that's not the kind of relationship you want to have, right?
- 35:53SPEAKER_02: So we shifted it, I would say within the last two months, maybe or less.
- 36:01SPEAKER_02: Yeah, yeah, two months-ish.
- 36:03SPEAKER_02: Yeah, two months-ish.
- 36:04SPEAKER_02: And most people know about the work that I do, but it was mostly just a mix of energy work and then me essentially reminding you how to think.
- 36:15SPEAKER_02: Because I think that to bring it back to that, when we have some really deep-seated patterns or traumas, when they're triggered, they create like this like trauma response where we kind of go into the same way of thinking.
- 36:29SPEAKER_02: So I think a lot of the work that we did was like me showing you how to think differently about it and showing you how to look at it differently, along with the energetic piece.
- 36:42SPEAKER_02: And now it's considering the fact that you couldn't even remember what it was.
- 36:50SPEAKER_02: And also, I think that was like directly related to business as well.
- 36:55SPEAKER_02: Like you wanting to do more of your own thing in your business with clients and stuff and grow that piece, that also was related to feeling that feeling blocked because of this underlying dynamic.
- 37:12SPEAKER_02: So, usually, and I say this to people all the time the thing that you do in relationships is going to be the same block that you have in business.
- 37:20SPEAKER_02: Sometimes it shows up differently, but it's usually the same thing.
- 37:23SPEAKER_02: So now that we've shifted this, now the business is just like, oh yeah, of course, of course I would do that.
- 37:29SPEAKER_02: Whereas before it felt hard or it felt like vulnerable or whatever it was.
- 37:34SPEAKER_02: So now it's just kind of like completely different.
- 37:37SPEAKER_02: And now you're able to shift without getting into too much of the details.
- 37:41SPEAKER_02: You've been able to shift this dynamic and move into a different situation relationship-wise.
- 37:48SPEAKER_00: Exactly.
- 37:49SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah.
- 37:50SPEAKER_00: And it's it's one of those things.
- 37:52SPEAKER_00: It's I've been working on this pattern for, I don't know, I guess decades.
- 37:55SPEAKER_00: I don't know.
- 37:56SPEAKER_00: But there's different levels, and this was the newest level, and that level has been there for a long time, and I knew that.
- 38:04SPEAKER_00: And I cleared the other six or seven levels on top of it over the last couple years, and now we're here, and it was just, yeah, it was really nice to get assistance with it, get support, and I feel very, very different.
- 38:18SPEAKER_00: I just came back from a retreat in Mexico.
- 38:21SPEAKER_00: I taught, I don't know how many classes, like eight classes or something over a weekend with other teachers, and it was very exciting.
- 38:31SPEAKER_00: I feel like I got a different response.
- 38:33SPEAKER_00: I feel like my ability to engage with people was different.
- 38:36SPEAKER_00: I was able to meet my own needs in relationship with other people in a way that I have never been able to really do, and meet theirs and also say no if it didn't work for me or something like that, and also accept no's be like when people say no, it's not like a thing to freak out about.
- 38:53SPEAKER_00: Oh, it doesn't work for them.
- 38:55SPEAKER_00: The game has changed and yeah, super grateful it worked.
- 38:59SPEAKER_00: It worked, it works, who knew?
- 39:01SPEAKER_02: No, and I I do think like one of the ways that this would show up for you is it would be hard for you to relate to people in general, or you would be able to to a certain degree, but then you would feel like overwhelmed and like I have to get away from these people, which was essentially like the pattern showing up.
- 39:19SPEAKER_02: So, like you saying that like you being able to be around all these people for this extended amount of time and feel really good is like a huge win.
- 39:28SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 39:29SPEAKER_00: I mean, I got tired, but it was like regular tired.
- 39:31SPEAKER_00: It was just like I'm doing a lot of things tired, not I'm so drained or sorry, I feel weird, which is amazing.
- 39:38SPEAKER_00: I'm pretty introverted, and to just be around people in a very specific capacity and not feel any of that is amazing.
- 39:46SPEAKER_00: Thank you.
- 39:47SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah.
- 39:48SPEAKER_00: Let's talk about Elise's problems now.
- 39:50SPEAKER_00: So I so mean Elise did this trade recently.
- 39:53SPEAKER_00: She helped me with that stuff, and I've had shifts in business too.
- 39:56SPEAKER_00: Thank you, Elise.
- 39:57SPEAKER_00: So she also wanted shift in business.
- 40:00SPEAKER_00: She has been doing her business with great success over the last, I guess, four years now.
- 40:07SPEAKER_02: Yeah, four or five, yeah.
- 40:09SPEAKER_00: Yeah, exactly.
- 40:10SPEAKER_00: And I mean, we could tell a whole other story of how I helped the business kind of grow initially.
- 40:15SPEAKER_02: Yeah, you're the one who helped me leave my job, too.
- 40:19SPEAKER_00: I did.
- 40:19SPEAKER_00: It wasn't working out for anybody.
- 40:21SPEAKER_00: No, actually, Elise was very good at her job, but yeah, she wanted something else.
- 40:26SPEAKER_00: And a lot has to do with how we're raised and then how we kind of limit ourselves, you know, and just really encouraging Elise to I knew she could help a lot more people and make a lot more money and be more free and be happier and be creative, which I think was a huge, you know, sticking point for her.
- 40:47SPEAKER_00: She's working like public schools and stuff, and there's a lot of people to help, but your creativity, I think, is hampered quite a bit just by the structure.
- 40:56SPEAKER_00: Yeah, for sure.
- 40:57SPEAKER_00: Yeah, so we helped her, we we launched that, we got her going.
- 41:00SPEAKER_00: It wasn't easy.
- 41:01SPEAKER_00: It takes a lot of work, just a lot to move through.
- 41:04SPEAKER_02: Um, yeah, no, seriously, there's a lot to move through.
- 41:08SPEAKER_00: There is, and a lot can come up emotional, and then where situations arise that basically are manifestations of your limits and where you're at.
- 41:18SPEAKER_00: In any case, she's still moving through subtle layers of that, right, Elise.
- 41:22SPEAKER_00: So she's basically, okay, I'm doing well.
- 41:25SPEAKER_00: I have the business is kind of roaring, it's doing great.
- 41:28SPEAKER_00: She's got podcasts and all kinds of things, and she feels like she's not keeping as much of the money as she's making as she'd want to, right?
- 41:40SPEAKER_00: And that's a problem.
- 41:41SPEAKER_00: I mean, first her problem is not making enough, then your problem is keeping it, okay?
- 41:45SPEAKER_00: And a lot of people have that issue who start doing well.
- 41:48SPEAKER_00: We've all heard stories of the basketball player who spends all their millions or something like that.
- 41:53SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and so it it's more specific, it's more subtle.
- 41:57SPEAKER_00: And I'm pretty good at that stuff.
- 41:59SPEAKER_00: So we took some work and we really honed in on it.
- 42:02SPEAKER_00: Like, what is it specifically?
- 42:04SPEAKER_00: Because if she wasn't making any money, that's one problem.
- 42:08SPEAKER_02: Yeah, like I remember when you said that to me when you were like, you never would have gotten to this problem if you were still a school counselor, because then your problem was you just didn't make enough money.
- 42:17SPEAKER_02: But now, like when I look at the money I make objectively, anybody would be like, that's objectively a lot of money.
- 42:24SPEAKER_02: But then when I look at like the way that I wasn't able to let it like compound the way I know that it could.
- 42:32SPEAKER_02: And I'm like, what is this?
- 42:34SPEAKER_02: And I remember when you said that, that just made it really land for me that it's not actually about how much money I'm making.
- 42:42SPEAKER_02: It was about something much deeper.
- 42:45SPEAKER_02: And well, you can talk about that too.
- 42:48SPEAKER_00: For me, for what I picked up on, yeah, there was a big shame piece there, which is a huge part of a lot of these issues for people.
- 42:56SPEAKER_00: And shame likes to hide.
- 42:58SPEAKER_00: That's its quality.
- 42:59SPEAKER_00: It's it's kind of the opposite of anger or something.
- 43:01SPEAKER_00: Anger lets itself to be known when it's expressed, but shame, shame lives like in the shadows.
- 43:07SPEAKER_00: That's its kind of nature.
- 43:08SPEAKER_00: And so she had this kind of toxic shame stuff around money and wealth and deserving the money and keeping it, and it's like just the way that my parents were.
- 43:19SPEAKER_02: That was what a lot of it was about, and feeling like not good enough because like my parents, and I've shared this on the show before.
- 43:26SPEAKER_02: Like, my parents were not good with money, like they were really not good, and also because of like my upbringing, too, I always felt like everyone around me was like in a better situation than me.
- 43:39SPEAKER_02: Whether that was the truth or not, I don't know.
- 43:42SPEAKER_02: But I feel like it probably was just the way my parents were.
- 43:46SPEAKER_02: So I think like I internalized this idea that there was something wrong with me.
- 43:52SPEAKER_02: And then my reaction to that was like, okay, well, I'm gonna have as much money as I want and I'm gonna buy whatever.
- 44:00SPEAKER_02: Ever I want because my parents were not able to buy me the things that I wanted.
- 44:06SPEAKER_00: Exactly.
- 44:06SPEAKER_00: And that is one of the reactions to, I mean, it's kind of a form of neglect.
- 44:11SPEAKER_00: So it was like kind of emotional neglect mixed with the shame of the position you felt like you were in as a child around your parents, mixed with your parents' shame around how they handled their money, how much money they had, etc.
- 44:25SPEAKER_00: And then with that, a reaction, which is kind of like a teenager, inner teenager kind of reaction to that, which is kind of like, well, if you're not gonna do it, I am like kind of a rebellion kind of thing.
- 44:36SPEAKER_00: And then I think that also happens to people when they first have some more money to play with.
- 44:42SPEAKER_00: They're a little more prone to spending it because they never could.
- 44:45SPEAKER_00: So it's kind of like they were restricted for so long and then they have a chance to kind of like let it all out.
- 44:51SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 44:52SPEAKER_00: So I think that period of your life is also ending.
- 44:55SPEAKER_02: Yeah, like I'm over the like excitement of having money.
- 44:59SPEAKER_02: Like I know I can get everything I want, I can go on the vacations I want.
- 45:03SPEAKER_02: It's not like exciting.
- 45:05SPEAKER_02: Like, I mean, obviously, there's always more.
- 45:08SPEAKER_02: Like, I'm not buying expensive cars and like$20,000 handbags or anything, but I don't know that that is even like my what I'm going for necessarily.
- 45:19SPEAKER_00: Oh, it's not your shtick.
- 45:21SPEAKER_00: So, yeah, so we we shifted it.
- 45:23SPEAKER_00: It took six weeks.
- 45:24SPEAKER_02: You know what I just realized because I just went in when I I was just getting my nails done and I had to get cash out of the ATM.
- 45:32SPEAKER_02: And I remember you said, within the next month, you're gonna accumulate this much money.
- 45:38SPEAKER_02: I want you to have this much money put aside.
- 45:41SPEAKER_02: And I do have that much money put aside.
- 45:43SPEAKER_03: Yay.
- 45:45SPEAKER_02: And I didn't even really try, like, I don't want to say I didn't try, but I wasn't like, oh my God, I have to scrimp and not, you know what I mean?
- 45:55SPEAKER_02: Like, it wasn't even like that either.
- 45:57SPEAKER_02: Um, but I think we really shifted this pattern of this shame and feeling like I'm not enough.
- 46:03SPEAKER_02: And then I even noticed it, like I told you this morning, I noticed it around my kids are going to private school next year.
- 46:10SPEAKER_02: And I've been having this like weird feeling.
- 46:13SPEAKER_02: I know it's the right decision for my kids, but I keep thinking about, oh my God, I have this payment.
- 46:18SPEAKER_02: Can I afford it?
- 46:19SPEAKER_02: And the reality is it's totally affordable for me.
- 46:22SPEAKER_02: Like it's completely affordable.
- 46:23SPEAKER_02: So that's actually not the issue.
- 46:25SPEAKER_02: And then when I like looked into it again, I realized it was that exact same thing.
- 46:31SPEAKER_02: Like it was like feeling like I'm not actually deserving of this level of living.
- 46:39SPEAKER_02: It's like that type of thing, but it's just different because I'm now more like, even though that might have been something I would have been aware of in some way before, like now I really fully understand that pattern of energy and like how that feels in my body, and I'm able to shift it.
- 46:58SPEAKER_02: And we've created like an actual shift in my bank account.
- 47:04SPEAKER_00: Well, I think it's cool for your listeners maybe to talk about the process.
- 47:09SPEAKER_00: Yeah, you didn't like screen print save and like literally because we had to take hazel to overnight camp too.
- 47:14SPEAKER_02: So it was like we went and stayed up in the cat skills and had like vacations, like we still booked a shore house, like we still, but the energy is different.
- 47:26SPEAKER_02: And I feel a deeper sense of like safety within myself.
- 47:30SPEAKER_02: And the other piece, this is something that I didn't say yet that I think is really important.
- 47:36SPEAKER_02: One of the things that has also kind of like triggered this thing is that I'm the breadwinner in my house at this time.
- 47:45SPEAKER_02: And that is something that I always felt a tremendous amount of pressure around.
- 47:51SPEAKER_02: And not only that, but I had so much shame around money, like my assumption around money up until very recently is that I was doing something wrong.
- 48:02SPEAKER_02: There's something wrong with me, slash I was doing something wrong.
- 48:05SPEAKER_02: So when it came to having any kind of money conversations with Matt, I would have so much shame come up that I could hardly even talk about it with him.
- 48:15SPEAKER_02: Or I would talk about it, but like my anxiety level would be so insane.
- 48:20SPEAKER_02: Like my whole body would start sweating and I would go out of my body.
- 48:24SPEAKER_02: That's how intense it was for me.
- 48:27SPEAKER_02: And now that has completely shifted as well.
- 48:31SPEAKER_02: There was like a bunch of stuff that like I hadn't even shared with him, not like bad stuff, but just like stuff that we should be on the same page about, like where we're at with the taxes, where we're at with the whatever stuff that like married people talk about that I literally could not speak about.
- 48:48SPEAKER_02: And it wasn't even necessarily that I was really like doing anything wrong.
- 48:53SPEAKER_02: There was little things I've made mistakes on over the years for sure, but I had so much shame, it was just hard for me to even talk about it.
- 49:01SPEAKER_02: And I didn't understand why or what that was until we did this work.
- 49:06SPEAKER_02: And now we're totally on the same page about everything.
- 49:09SPEAKER_02: Like I tell him what's going on with everything all the time because like I manage the finances, and it feels like there's so much less of a charge around it.
- 49:19SPEAKER_02: And even his money stuff, like if he has money anxiety, like that does not affect me anywhere near the same way it used to, which like it used to affect me so much because of my own stuff and then my own codependency with him.
- 49:35SPEAKER_02: And now that really does not affect me in the same way.
- 49:39SPEAKER_02: Like I have like empathy for him, or I'll be like, it's it's cool, like we'll deal with whatever.
- 49:43SPEAKER_02: But I that has completely shifted and I feel like this level of openness around money that I have never felt before.
- 49:53SPEAKER_02: Like I feel like I can talk about it with him, and there's not a charge.
- 49:58SPEAKER_02: And that is like a huge, huge shift for me.
- 50:02SPEAKER_02: I didn't even realize I had this underlying assumption that I am always doing something wrong.
- 50:09SPEAKER_02: I just thought I actually was doing something wrong.
- 50:12SPEAKER_02: Like I thought that was the reality.
- 50:14SPEAKER_00: Well, it's probably another thing, just inherited from your family or something.
- 50:17SPEAKER_00: It's like when people constantly don't have enough money, they're not sure what they're doing or why it's happening.
- 50:23SPEAKER_00: They assume that they are doing something wrong.
- 50:26SPEAKER_00: And like, I don't know about wrong, but they are doing something where they don't have enough money, right?
- 50:30SPEAKER_00: And then totally well, then even though you had money, you're still assuming you're doing something wrong because you you had that energy from your family.
- 50:38SPEAKER_02: So exactly.
- 50:39SPEAKER_02: And I feel like it didn't matter how much money I made, that wasn't the answer.
- 50:45SPEAKER_02: No, so I'm like, okay, I'm gonna stop focusing on making more money and I'm gonna start focusing on ending this pattern.
- 50:52SPEAKER_02: And then I think July, I still made pretty much around the same amount, but like my bank account's been going up, up, up, up, up, up, up, up, up.
- 51:01SPEAKER_02: So it's it's just so different.
- 51:03SPEAKER_02: And it's just so interesting because it's not always a logical answer.
- 51:07SPEAKER_02: Yes, in business, a lot of things are business-related answers, but like with this type of thing, I knew that if I didn't tackle this, I was just gonna be like running in place because it wouldn't matter how much money I made, I would still be repeating this pattern.
- 51:23SPEAKER_00: Well, and you had already done all the business things too.
- 51:25SPEAKER_00: So it wasn't like you tried that already.
- 51:28SPEAKER_00: Your business is in a good place and run well.
- 51:31SPEAKER_00: So that wasn't the issue.
- 51:32SPEAKER_00: And and when we see these patterns when everything else is going well and like externally it should be producing this other kind of result, and yet it's not.
- 51:41SPEAKER_00: And that's why we had such a quick shift, because your business was already set up and running well, and then it was this one thing.
- 51:49SPEAKER_00: Once that shifted, then without changing anything else with the business, because you didn't change anything, right?
- 51:56SPEAKER_00: All of a sudden, this manifestation occurred.
- 51:58SPEAKER_00: If business was the issue, yeah, we'd have to do both, but it wasn't.
- 52:02SPEAKER_00: So it only took this and then up, then more money in your account.
- 52:06SPEAKER_00: Which it can seem ridiculous to people because that's not our culture, that's not what we're taught.
- 52:10SPEAKER_00: We're not taught that what goes on in our minds and our hearts creates what we see.
- 52:15SPEAKER_00: I don't think anyone could argue that it creates how we see things, like in the sense of we see things differently when we're angry or when we're sad or when we're happy or when we're depressed or something like that.
- 52:26SPEAKER_00: But I would argue it creates what we see.
- 52:28SPEAKER_00: And so the digits, the amount of zeros, are the zeros in front of the number or behind the number, you know, in our accounts.
- 52:37SPEAKER_02: And also the meaning behind the number, right?
- 52:40SPEAKER_02: Because I think that's the biggest thing.
- 52:42SPEAKER_02: Certain people will think if they don't have a certain amount of money in their bank account, then they're not doing well.
- 52:47SPEAKER_02: But that number could be so different for so many people.
- 52:52SPEAKER_02: So it's really just what is the meaning that you're putting to it?
- 52:57SPEAKER_00: Exactly.
- 52:57SPEAKER_00: And where does that meaning come from for you and working through it?
- 53:01SPEAKER_00: Yeah, so a lot, yeah, a lot of my client work, it's just it has to do with getting to know people, connecting, and then like feeling into their situation because humans have the same templates, but how they express those templates that like those characteristics are going to be different.
- 53:17SPEAKER_00: But everyone experiences the same basic emotions and needs the same basic things, right?
- 53:23SPEAKER_00: So once you understand that, then you get into specifics of one particular case or another, and you see like what's there and what's not there, what needs support and what doesn't need support, then you can really help people really fast.
- 53:38SPEAKER_02: So, do you want to talk about the wealth readings that you're gonna be doing?
- 53:42SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I mean, kind of inspired by what me and Elise just did and what I did with her a few years back.
- 53:48SPEAKER_00: Like, Elise was one of my first guinea pigs, but I've had a few since then, and I've refined my work so that yeah, I feel very confident in helping people make more money.
- 53:59SPEAKER_00: And it's one of the main problems people have, and it's an expression of so much more than that.
- 54:05SPEAKER_00: But because money is so important in our world at this time, and when people have it or they don't have it, it triggers so much in them, or or they feel like it says so much about them, and almost everyone wants more.
- 54:17SPEAKER_00: I just thought it's a great entry point for people to help them start this process.
- 54:23SPEAKER_00: So I'm offering these wealth readings, which is about an hour session.
- 54:27SPEAKER_00: I say about because sometimes I go over it just because we need to, but about an hour session where I basically break down how I see what issues they're having regarding money, whether it's making more or keeping more or investing or saving or whatever it is for them and how their current state of mind and habits contribute to that, as well as their upbringing through childhood.
- 54:56SPEAKER_00: And so it's a I'm doing an intro offer to people of 50% off my usual price because I want to help more people, and I think it's a lot of fun, actually.
- 55:06SPEAKER_00: So I want to get more and more people through the door.
- 55:09SPEAKER_00: And once people see how it works, they tend to want to do more because I mean, honestly, look at Elise.
- 55:16SPEAKER_00: Seriously, she's a school counselor.
- 55:18SPEAKER_00: I don't know if you talk about numbers here, but she's making a lot less money than she is now.
- 55:23SPEAKER_00: And not only that, um, she was great at her job and she helped so many kids, and that was amazing.
- 55:29SPEAKER_00: But like I said earlier, it was very limited to what she had to offer.
- 55:34SPEAKER_00: And that's the main thing.
- 55:35SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I have to charge for my work and I like to make money too.
- 55:39SPEAKER_00: But the main thing is to help people actualize themselves, manifest more of themselves in the world, be more creative, be more open, be able to express more of themselves and be happier and to spread that happiness and joy through this work.
- 55:57SPEAKER_02: We'll link your Instagram and we'll link so people can book.
- 56:01SPEAKER_02: Because this is gonna come out next week.
- 56:03SPEAKER_02: So it'll be available for the limited time, probably.
- 56:07SPEAKER_02: So most people will want to book it as soon as possible.
- 56:10SPEAKER_00: Yeah, we start like in a couple days, but I'm trying to offer a good amount for a short period of time.
- 56:17SPEAKER_00: So just yeah, sign up as soon as you can.
- 56:21SPEAKER_02: Amazing.
- 56:21SPEAKER_02: Well, I highly recommend.
- 56:23SPEAKER_02: Honestly, you know what?
- 56:24SPEAKER_02: I'm I'm going to admit this to everyone.
- 56:27SPEAKER_02: I'm like a little bit like I don't want to share you with everyone.
- 56:31SPEAKER_02: You're like my my best kept secret.
- 56:34SPEAKER_00: I get it.
- 56:36SPEAKER_02: But I'm just kidding.
- 56:37SPEAKER_02: No, of course I want to share you with everyone.
- 56:39SPEAKER_02: But I was just a little bit like, oh my God.
- 56:41SPEAKER_02: Like you really have just helped me so much.
- 56:43SPEAKER_02: And I know we've helped each other, but like, it's just a very direct way of creating change.
- 56:49SPEAKER_02: And also, I really enjoy your highly intellectual logic as well.
- 56:56SPEAKER_02: It's very comforting in a lot of ways.
- 56:58SPEAKER_02: Cause I actually just did an episode about how there's a lot of things in the spiritual space that I just got so sick of.
- 57:07SPEAKER_02: It's like words, but I like, I'm like, how is this helping me?
- 57:11SPEAKER_02: Right.
- 57:12SPEAKER_02: Like, how are these ideas actually helping?
- 57:14SPEAKER_02: And that my focus has become so much on how can I create really tangible tools and processes for people to get permanent, quick results.
- 57:26SPEAKER_02: And that's all I care about.
- 57:28SPEAKER_02: Yes, I'm one of the most spiritual people I know, but I also am like, okay, how is this helping me?
- 57:35SPEAKER_02: How is this creating change?
- 57:36SPEAKER_02: And how can I help my clients get actual results?
- 57:40SPEAKER_02: Because the last thing I want to see is people investing money and then still being at the same place they were at when they started.
- 57:47SPEAKER_02: So I I think that this is the best way to do that.
- 57:52SPEAKER_02: I know we have to wrap up.
- 57:53SPEAKER_02: Can you just tell everyone your Instagram and where else they can find you?
- 57:59SPEAKER_00: Yes, I have a website.
- 58:01SPEAKER_00: It is Dr Wordsmith Wisdom.
- 58:05SPEAKER_00: That's my Instagram too.
- 58:07SPEAKER_00: It's dr.wordsmithwisdom.
- 58:11SPEAKER_00: And yes, I'd love to see you there.
- 58:14SPEAKER_00: Follow me, and I'm posting more videos these days.
- 58:17SPEAKER_00: And yeah, I'm just want to spread my skills and my knowledge and yeah, help more and more people.
- 58:25SPEAKER_00: So I would love you to be one of those people.
- 58:29SPEAKER_00: Whoever you are.
- 58:30SPEAKER_02: Thank you so much.
- 58:31SPEAKER_02: I know everyone's gonna love it.
- 58:33SPEAKER_02: Thank you for being here.
- 58:34SPEAKER_02: This was amazing.
- 58:36SPEAKER_02: And we will talk to you soon.
- 58:39SPEAKER_02: Thanks, Elise.
