- 0:02Speaker 1: Now, Ron Verb on NewsRadio 570 WKBN.
- 0:07Speaker 2: Back to it, NewsRadio 570 WKBN, 4.07 in the afternoon.
- 0:11Speaker 2: And where do you think we go from here? I mean,
- 0:16Speaker 2: this is a mess. I hope that what Trump is saying,
- 0:19Speaker 2: that a deal could happen and be signed and all
- 0:21Speaker 2: that this weekend. I mean, he said it 30-something times.
- 0:25Speaker 2: I hope that this time it happens. So I hope
- 0:29Speaker 2: that it's concluded soon. but I don't know.
- 0:34Speaker 3: Um, I, I honestly don't know.
- 0:37Speaker 4: Just like I said, I don't think there's any good
- 0:40Speaker 4: scenarios with Iran. You know, there's only less bad scenarios.
- 0:44Speaker 4: So whatever, you know, try and get the best deal.
- 0:47Speaker 4: I think they're going to continue to disrupt that region
- 0:50Speaker 4: regardless of what happens. Rather it's, you know, underhanded or
- 0:56Speaker 4: openly attacking Israel again. I, I can almost guarantee you that, um,
- 1:02Speaker 4: Those are my thoughts, but I kind of wanted to
- 1:05Speaker 4: touch on another thing that that Palestinian-American said.
- 1:08Speaker 5: Yes.
- 1:10Speaker 4: And with some of your other callers say this term
- 1:13Speaker 4: a lot. Even the guy prior, the prior caller here,
- 1:17Speaker 4: was talking about the Israel government controlling everything.
- 1:20Speaker 2: The lobbying, the influence, yeah.
- 1:23Speaker 4: And the Zionists. They always talk about the Zionists, like
- 1:28Speaker 4: this cabal that's kind of responsible for all strife on
- 1:33Speaker 4: the planet. Frank from Fort Lauderdale always talks about how
- 1:37Speaker 4: the Zionists are this group of people that are controlling everything.
- 1:42Speaker 4: And it's really weird. I just wish that they would
- 1:44Speaker 4: explain what they're talking about more. Because, I mean, are
- 1:48Speaker 4: the Zionists importing the Third World into Europe? Are the
- 1:53Speaker 4: Jews that are doing that? I don't think so. I mean,
- 1:58Speaker 4: why do they never explain... Like, who these evil Zionists are.
- 2:02Speaker 2: Right. Well, I think, and I'll try to get them
- 2:08Speaker 2: to elaborate on that, but I think when they're talking
- 2:11Speaker 2: about it, they're talking about the amount of money, well,
- 2:14Speaker 2: that you saw with the Massey election that came in
- 2:17Speaker 2: to try to defeat him. Massey was against all foreign aid,
- 2:20Speaker 2: not just foreign aid to Israel, but all foreign aid,
- 2:22Speaker 2: because he says we're broke as a country. And I
- 2:25Speaker 2: agree with that. And you had outside money from Israel.
- 2:28Speaker 2: this Israeli PAC, which was significant to try to get
- 2:32Speaker 2: rid of Massey. And so, so many people, I think
- 2:36Speaker 2: these folks that are saying that, so many people in
- 2:39Speaker 2: Congress take money from that PAC that they have a
- 2:42Speaker 2: large amount of influence on them. And many people feel
- 2:46Speaker 2: that they have Israel's interest in front of America's interest.
- 2:50Speaker 2: That's the argument they're making because they accept the money
- 2:54Speaker 2: and they're afraid if they don't go the way of
- 2:58Speaker 2: what the lobbying group is telling them to do, that
- 3:00Speaker 2: they will spend significant money, like you saw with Massey,
- 3:03Speaker 2: to try to get rid of them. So to be
- 3:05Speaker 2: able to stay in office there. And then I hear
- 3:08Speaker 2: people talk about dual citizenship being a big problem with
- 3:11Speaker 2: some of these people in Congress. That's a whole separate issue.
- 3:15Speaker 2: But the people that are talking about this are saying,
- 3:20Speaker 2: you're here to represent America first, not Israel first. and
- 3:24Speaker 2: that's basically what their argument is, and they think that
- 3:28Speaker 2: APAC or whatever it is has way too much influence
- 3:31Speaker 2: over our politicians in Washington.
- 3:36Speaker 4: Okay, well, that's a good explanation. Thanks for explaining that
- 3:40Speaker 4: a little bit. As far as that whole third world
- 3:43Speaker 4: and stuff coming to Europe and these violent people and such,
- 3:50Speaker 4: I would look more towards like, or like the UN
- 3:53Speaker 4: and stuff like this that are kind of tied to
- 3:56Speaker 4: the UK and these other nations to like almost they're
- 3:59Speaker 4: forcing them to immigrate these people is my kind of
- 4:04Speaker 4: theory on it.
- 4:06Speaker 2: Well, in that sense, many people think that there's a
- 4:09Speaker 2: global agenda here. And in the United States as well.
- 4:14Speaker 2: We never voted in the United States to have an
- 4:16Speaker 2: open border with Joe Biden, did we? We never had
- 4:19Speaker 2: a say-so. We never had a vote on it. It
- 4:21Speaker 2: just happened to us. Literally, millions and millions of people
- 4:24Speaker 2: invaded this country. I mean, he took down the high-tech
- 4:28Speaker 2: surveillance stuff that we had where we couldn't build the fence.
- 4:31Speaker 2: He did everything he could do. He neutered the border
- 4:34Speaker 2: patrol so that these people could just flood into this country,
- 4:37Speaker 2: millions of them. And people would often talk about what
- 4:41Speaker 2: they call the replacement theory. And they were said, well,
- 4:44Speaker 2: that's a conspiracy theory, the replacement theory. That's nothing but
- 4:47Speaker 2: a conspiracy theory. The replacement theory being we're going to
- 4:50Speaker 2: bring a bunch of other people in. They will water
- 4:52Speaker 2: down your citizenship and replace your influence, your power. You
- 4:56Speaker 2: follow me? Because we've watered it down by bringing all
- 4:59Speaker 2: these people in from these other countries. So they would
- 5:03Speaker 2: always be attacked. It's a conspiracy theory. But it is
- 5:05Speaker 2: very much a replacement theory because you can see that
- 5:08Speaker 2: they brought all these people in. And it does change
- 5:11Speaker 2: the makeup of many communities in the voting outcome when
- 5:16Speaker 2: they concentrate people in... In these specific areas, it can change,
- 5:21Speaker 2: water down the entire citizenship of a community. Yeah, I
- 5:25Speaker 2: think people would say that would be the case in Dearborn, Michigan.
- 5:29Speaker 2: People might say that's the case in some of the
- 5:32Speaker 2: areas like where you see the large group of Somalians
- 5:36Speaker 2: doing all of this fraud, whether that's with Minnesota or
- 5:39Speaker 2: in Ohio. And so that's what they call a replacement theory. Now,
- 5:45Speaker 2: most people say that this is– that there's– it's like
- 5:49Speaker 2: a globalist agenda. There's a power structure, a globalist agenda
- 5:54Speaker 2: that is orchestrating all of this. And I will ask G2,
- 6:01Speaker 2: if we have time today, if you stay tuned, because
- 6:04Speaker 2: he knows more about all of this stuff than– from
- 6:07Speaker 2: life's experiences, I will ask G2 to explain that. If
- 6:11Speaker 2: you stay tuned, I'll try to get you more details. Okay?
- 6:16Speaker 5: Okay, yeah.
- 6:16Speaker 4: It just has to be frustrating for, like, an Irish patriot,
- 6:19Speaker 4: you know. I mean, they have to be very, very frustrated. And, hey,
- 6:21Speaker 4: like I agree with the last caller, you know, bring
- 6:23Speaker 4: back the IRA if you have to.
- 6:25Speaker 3: Thank you.
- 6:26Speaker 2: Thank you. News Radio 570 WKBN. You're on the air.
- 6:30Speaker 5: Hello, Ron. Thanks for taking my call. Yes, sir. I
- 6:33Speaker 5: got an article by the Washington Post. I've been trying
- 6:35Speaker 5: to get the agrees with your stand on gas prices
- 6:38Speaker 5: going up. The headline, oil executives warn White House so
- 6:43Speaker 5: that Mr. Trump's been warned that gas prices will get worse.
- 6:47Speaker 5: Oil and gas executives, these are smart guys, have warned
- 6:50Speaker 5: the White House, Mr. Trump knows about this, that gasoline
- 6:54Speaker 5: prices could surge in the coming months, not, you know, years,
- 6:59Speaker 5: as fuel inventories fall to critical lows. complicating the Trump
- 7:03Speaker 5: administration's efforts to contain inflation that has rattled many American consumers.
- 7:09Speaker 5: Some inventories could be wiped out within weeks. I didn't
- 7:13Speaker 5: mention weeks. That's executive warrant coinciding with the peak summer
- 7:17Speaker 5: travel season.
- 7:18Speaker 6: Right.
- 7:19Speaker 5: One of the shared.
- 7:20Speaker 2: Well, where did you get that from?
- 7:23Speaker 5: Washington Post yesterday.
- 7:25Speaker 3: Yeah. See.
- 7:27Speaker 2: Let me back up. Just hang in there for a second,
- 7:30Speaker 2: because what I'm saying.
- 7:31Speaker 5: They agree with you. You've been saying they're going to
- 7:34Speaker 5: go up in the next couple of months. They agree
- 7:36Speaker 5: with your stand.
- 7:37Speaker 2: The longer this goes on— and it's not my— it' s like when
- 7:42Speaker 2: I'm looking at Berman, when I look at— God, I keep
- 7:45Speaker 2: forgetting the other guy's name. He's really well-respected beyond him.
- 7:49Speaker 2: I can't think he's on— you usually see him interviewed a
- 7:52Speaker 2: lot on CNBC, but he's an oil analyst. So I'm
- 7:56Speaker 2: not giving you what my thoughts are. I'm reading these guys.
- 7:58Speaker 2: I'm seeing what they have to say. And basically what
- 8:00Speaker 2: these guys are saying is we in the United States,
- 8:05Speaker 2: I'm using their terms. I learned more about this stuff
- 8:07Speaker 2: than I ever thought. We are approaching tank bottom. That's
- 8:11Speaker 2: the term they use. Tank bottom. Well, what is that?
- 8:14Speaker 2: And you say, well, what the hell is tank bottom? Well,
- 8:17Speaker 2: tank bottom is all the stored oil that we've had
- 8:21Speaker 2: at if you look in these big white tanks and
- 8:24Speaker 2: everything full of oil, we are reaching tank bottom. All
- 8:28Speaker 2: of our storage tanks are at the bottom of the tank,
- 8:33Speaker 2: if you will. So we've gone through all of our
- 8:36Speaker 2: surplus that we've had in storage, is what these analysts
- 8:41Speaker 2: are saying. So you're at tank bottom. Other countries are
- 8:45Speaker 2: already there as well at tank bottom. So now you've
- 8:49Speaker 2: got a real problem because that helped. ease the pain
- 8:53Speaker 2: of the cost of gasoline and diesel well now unless
- 8:57Speaker 2: you settle this thing and these oil analysts are saying
- 9:01Speaker 2: you can settle it let me just back up if
- 9:04Speaker 2: you settle this thing it's still going to take some
- 9:06Speaker 2: time to fix this mess because they say when you
- 9:10Speaker 2: shut a well down an oil well down it's not
- 9:14Speaker 2: like you turn it on a light switch and it
- 9:16Speaker 2: starts to work again It's it takes a lot of time.
- 9:20Speaker 2: Sometimes it doesn't come back online. And then sometimes it
- 9:24Speaker 2: takes time, weeks or months to get it to start
- 9:31Speaker 2: pumping oil again. They they equated it to like when
- 9:34Speaker 2: you turn the water off to your whole house, when
- 9:36Speaker 2: you shut the water off to your house. And then
- 9:38Speaker 2: you fix your something and then you turn it back on.
- 9:41Speaker 2: You know, when you turn the faucet on and it's
- 9:43Speaker 2: just spitting air and water and making all that noise
- 9:46Speaker 2: to try.
- 9:47Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 9:49Speaker 2: They're saying it's very similar to that when you're trying
- 9:51Speaker 2: to get the oil well operating again. Only you're dealing
- 9:55Speaker 2: with the earth. So it's not like your water. It's
- 10:00Speaker 2: a more iffy process, if you will. So they're saying, okay,
- 10:04Speaker 2: you got to turn oil wells back on. Some of
- 10:07Speaker 2: them might not come back on. Some of them can
- 10:10Speaker 2: take weeks. Some can take months. You're at tank bottom
- 10:13Speaker 2: in the United States. Shipping people are going to be
- 10:17Speaker 2: very hesitant to go through that strait, even if they
- 10:20Speaker 2: say it's open, because they're going to be very nervous
- 10:24Speaker 2: to go through that strait at all because of mines,
- 10:27Speaker 2: because of Iran, because of what they've been through.
- 10:30Speaker 5: And the insurance companies won't insure the big tankers. It
- 10:33Speaker 5: costs a lot of money.
- 10:34Speaker 2: Yeah. Will the insurance companies insure them? And if they will,
- 10:38Speaker 2: how much will they cost to insure? Will the rates
- 10:41Speaker 2: go through the roof? And it's... It's going to be
- 10:50Speaker 2: a mess. Basically, I'm just saying that's what all these
- 10:53Speaker 2: guys are saying. And the longer this goes, they're saying
- 10:55Speaker 2: you're going to reach this point. I'm really intrigued by
- 10:59Speaker 2: the article you read. They said you will reach this
- 11:01Speaker 2: point in July and at the longest August. But most
- 11:07Speaker 2: of them are saying in July you're going to hit it.
- 11:09Speaker 5: They agree with you. These oil executives warned Mr. Trump
- 11:14Speaker 5: about it.
- 11:15Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 11:16Speaker 2: So if this drags on, If this drags on, they're
- 11:19Speaker 2: saying oil could go to 160 a barrel, maybe 180
- 11:24Speaker 2: a barrel to 160 a barrel, and gasoline prices would
- 11:29Speaker 2: soar as a result of it, and inflation would soar
- 11:31Speaker 2: as a result of it. That's what's ahead if this
- 11:36Speaker 2: thing doesn't get resolved. And Art Berman says he doesn't
- 11:41Speaker 2: ever believe it'll go back to how it used to be.
- 11:44Speaker 2: because really now, now Iran learned they got a great
- 11:48Speaker 2: deal of power with that straight that they, that they
- 11:51Speaker 2: now realize that they didn't realize prior to this happening.
- 11:56Speaker 5: So, and then it's oil too. It's fertilizer. The farmers
- 12:00Speaker 5: are not having fertilizer to plant their crops.
- 12:03Speaker 2: Right.
- 12:03Speaker 5: They say it's going to, You're.
- 12:05Speaker 2: Going to have people, starvation problems in Africa, parts of
- 12:10Speaker 2: the world. You'll already have an oil shortage in parts
- 12:13Speaker 2: of the world and an energy crisis. And it's taken
- 12:16Speaker 2: longer to get here, but it is going to get
- 12:18Speaker 2: here in July and August. And we are not energy independent,
- 12:23Speaker 2: as I tell a million times. We got light crude,
- 12:25Speaker 2: I learned, and it takes heavy crude to make diesel,
- 12:29Speaker 2: which you need for ships, trucks to get your groceries
- 12:32Speaker 2: to the store. and jet fuel. You need heavy crude.
- 12:36Speaker 2: We have light crude here, and that's only good for gasoline.
- 12:41Speaker 2: But our refineries, you can mix light crude and heavy crude, apparently,
- 12:47Speaker 2: to get the product that you need. So I learned
- 12:50Speaker 2: that all oil is not oil. It's like they say,
- 12:54Speaker 2: when you say alcohol... Well, alcohol is wine, alcohol is beer,
- 12:58Speaker 2: and alcohol is Jack Daniels. It's all alcohol, but it's
- 13:01Speaker 2: different degrees of alcohol. Well, when people say we have oil, well,
- 13:06Speaker 2: we only have light crude in our country, which isn't
- 13:10Speaker 2: good to make diesel fuel at all. And we are
- 13:13Speaker 2: not energy independent. We import oil. We export 4 million
- 13:18Speaker 2: barrels a day. We import 6 million barrels of heavy crude.
- 13:23Speaker 2: A lot of it comes from Canada. And the Middle
- 13:27Speaker 2: East and Venezuela, places like that. So I'm glad these
- 13:34Speaker 2: executives are saying it. I'm deeply concerned about it. I
- 13:37Speaker 2: hope Trump is telling the truth this time that, hey,
- 13:39Speaker 2: we're close to dotting the I's and crossing the T's.
- 13:42Speaker 5: Me too, but I don't think so.
- 13:44Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean... I hope it happens. If it doesn't,
- 13:49Speaker 2: you know, Iran knows they got us, too. You know,
- 13:52Speaker 2: we are destroying them in many ways and economically, but
- 13:57Speaker 2: they have always said they can destroy us economically, too.
- 14:01Speaker 5: They're bringing down the whole world with this.
- 14:03Speaker 2: Yep, absolutely right. I go back to say this was
- 14:08Speaker 2: a dumb move from the very beginning, in my opinion.
- 14:11Speaker 5: I got a news article on hate speech, too, I
- 14:13Speaker 5: want to share, and I'll get off the air.
- 14:15Speaker 2: Well, let me do my, I got to do a
- 14:16Speaker 2: minute and a half commercial break, and I'll come back
- 14:18Speaker 2: in here. I want to hear about this hate speech.
- 14:20Speaker 2: These are, we've had excellent callers on the program today.
- 14:25Speaker 2: I mean, absolutely excellent callers. And this guy is one
- 14:28Speaker 2: of them. I want to hear his article on hate
- 14:29Speaker 2: speech when I come back in just a bit. Stay tuned.
- 14:32Speaker 1: News Radio 570 WKBN. All right, back to it now.
- 14:36Speaker 1: You were talking about an article on hate speech.
- 14:38Speaker 2: I want to hear it. What do you have there?
- 14:40Speaker 5: Canada passes Bible ban bill, Christians facing prison for quoting
- 14:45Speaker 5: scripture under hate speech crackdown. Canada's Senate has passed a
- 14:50Speaker 5: rebellion speech bill targeting Christians and religious leaders, banning them
- 14:54Speaker 5: from quoting Bible passages that the liberal government deems offensive
- 14:59Speaker 5: or hateful. So if you stand in front of an
- 15:02Speaker 5: abortion clinic and quote Proverbs where it says, God hates
- 15:05Speaker 5: the hands that shed innocent blood, you could be arrested
- 15:08Speaker 5: under this bill. or you speak out against homosexuality or
- 15:11Speaker 5: any of the things the Bible condemns, if you quote Scripture,
- 15:15Speaker 5: you can be arrested under this bill. It's probably going
- 15:18Speaker 5: to go worldwide pretty soon.
- 15:21Speaker 2: Oh, Jesus. So, say this again for our listeners. This
- 15:28Speaker 2: is in Canada?
- 15:29Speaker 5: Yeah, I just got it. I got it off a
- 15:31Speaker 5: website called The People's Voice. Canada passes Bible ban bill,
- 15:36Speaker 5: Christian facing prison, recording Scripture. under hate speech crackdown. Canada's
- 15:42Speaker 5: Senate has passed a brilliant speech bill targeting Christians and
- 15:45Speaker 5: religious leaders, banning them from quoting Bible passages that the
- 15:49Speaker 5: Liberal government deems offensive or hateful. So you can't quote
- 15:55Speaker 5: the Bible in Canada and you get arrested. The ones
- 15:58Speaker 5: that speak out against sin.
- 16:00Speaker 2: This is insane.
- 16:03Speaker 5: That's the New World Order. This is a globalist for you.
- 16:07Speaker 5: They're being led by the wicked ones.
- 16:10Speaker 2: Yeah, there is something going on here that just doesn't
- 16:13Speaker 2: make sense to me. I mean, I think there is
- 16:17Speaker 2: an evil agenda going on, and it's hard for people
- 16:20Speaker 2: to imagine, but it's real.
- 16:22Speaker 5: And they want to have one world government under Lucifer,
- 16:26Speaker 5: basically what the Bible predicts. Pretty scary, but it's coming.
- 16:31Speaker 2: I appreciate all you added today. Thank you for your call.
- 16:34Speaker 2: Appreciate it a great deal.
- 16:35Speaker 5: Excellence.
- 16:36Speaker 2: You're on the air.
- 16:38Speaker 3: Ronald.
- 16:40Speaker 2: It's Ted the Conservative. He's back from New Jersey, I think.
- 16:44Speaker 3: Yes, sir, I'm back. How are you doing?
- 16:46Speaker 5: I thought I would..
- 16:47Speaker 3: I was listening to the show, and after your first caller,
- 16:50Speaker 3: I was agitated to call in.
- 16:53Speaker 2: Well, he was... I mean, when you take a look
- 16:56Speaker 2: at Ireland's... I mean, I was reading about it this morning.
- 16:58Speaker 3: Oh, nothing to do with Ireland. I agree completely on
- 17:00Speaker 3: the Ireland issue. But when he tried to categorize and
- 17:04Speaker 3: characterize Graham Plattner... in the same category as a Marjorie
- 17:10Speaker 3: Taylor Greene. I had to draw the line there. The
- 17:13Speaker 3: guy's a socialist. He's out campaigning with Bernie Sanders. He
- 17:20Speaker 3: is no Marjorie Taylor Greene. And some of these guys
- 17:25Speaker 3: like Tucker Carlson, they say crazy things to self-promote themselves.
- 17:33Speaker 3: These guys are in business to make money, and not
- 17:36Speaker 3: small amounts of money, large amounts. So they say very
- 17:39Speaker 3: controversial things. That's where you as an individual have an
- 17:43Speaker 3: obligation to do some research and find out what the
- 17:46Speaker 3: truth is. It's just like J.J. You know, poor J.J.
- 17:50Speaker 5: The liberal.
- 17:50Speaker 3: I was listening to him the other day, and one
- 17:53Speaker 3: thing about J.J.
- 17:54Speaker 5: Is he's honest.
- 17:55Speaker 2: Yes.
- 17:56Speaker 3: You know, he came out speaking against this kid being
- 18:00Speaker 3: sentenced for 35 years. He just thought it was a poor,
- 18:05Speaker 3: you know, how could you lock this young boy up?
- 18:07Speaker 3: I have a question for JJ if you're listening, JJ.
- 18:09Speaker 3: If that was your son stabbed in the heart and killed,
- 18:14Speaker 3: how would you want his killer sent? Would you want...
- 18:17Speaker 3: I think this kid got off late. 35 years? He
- 18:20Speaker 3: should be locked up for life. The problem is we
- 18:23Speaker 3: keep putting these people back on the streets. This poor kid,
- 18:27Speaker 3: you know, no fault of his own, raised in an
- 18:31Speaker 3: animalistic society. And if you want to say I'm being racist,
- 18:36Speaker 3: then you can say I'm being racist. He was raised
- 18:39Speaker 3: in a home where that was acceptable behavior. And those
- 18:44Speaker 3: causing all the racial riots are of the same DNA.
- 18:52Speaker 3: So a kid pushes you, and your response is to
- 18:56Speaker 3: knowingly and willingly, willfully, reach into a duffel bag, pull
- 19:01Speaker 3: out a pocket knife, open that pocket knife, and stab
- 19:04Speaker 3: him in the heart. He didn't stab him in the arm.
- 19:07Speaker 3: He didn't punch him. He didn't kick him. He didn't
- 19:08Speaker 3: push him back. He didn't stab him in the arm.
- 19:11Speaker 3: He didn't poke his leg. He stabbed him in his heart.
- 19:14Speaker 6: Okay, JJ?
- 19:16Speaker 3: Now, if that was your son, think about how you
- 19:18Speaker 3: would feel. If I were to come over there and
- 19:22Speaker 3: stick a knife in your son, not me, but if
- 19:24Speaker 3: a 17-year-old kid came over and stuck a knife in
- 19:28Speaker 3: your son's heart and killed him, you mean to tell
- 19:31Speaker 3: me you would be this sympathetic for him? Poor kid,
- 19:35Speaker 3: he shouldn't have to serve any time, put him in
- 19:37Speaker 3: a few years and let him out? Come on. That's ridiculous.
- 19:40Speaker 3: That's the problem with our country. That's why we're seeing
- 19:43Speaker 3: what's happening in Ireland. You've got these liberal people who think...
- 19:50Speaker 3: so differently than you and I, and the scary part
- 19:52Speaker 3: is how did they become this way? How were they
- 19:56Speaker 3: raised by people that instill these things in people?
- 20:00Speaker 2: Hold that thought. Hold that thought for me, if you will.
- 20:03Speaker 2: It's Ted the Conservative. Good to hear his voice.
- 20:06Speaker 1: Back with more calls. Ron Furb, NewsRadio 570 WKVN. NewsRadio
- 20:10Speaker 1: 570 WKVN. NewsRadio 570 WKVN and Ron Furb.
- 20:14Speaker 2: All right. Ted the Conservative. I'm just trying to arrange stuff.
- 20:21Speaker 2: I believe, wait a second, I believe for the callers
- 20:25Speaker 2: and everything, I believe, just I want to double check,
- 20:28Speaker 2: I believe G2 will join me at 530 today because
- 20:32Speaker 2: I'm only on until 630. And G2 has been talking
- 20:36Speaker 2: about the grooming gangs. He's been talking about what's been
- 20:41Speaker 2: going on in Ireland and Europe with this immigration, the
- 20:46Speaker 2: raping statistics, the crime that's going on, and the double
- 20:53Speaker 2: standard of justice for quite a while, longer than anybody
- 20:58Speaker 2: has really spoken about it, longer than anybody's spoken about it.
- 21:02Speaker 2: He's talked about what has been going on over there.
- 21:05Speaker 2: And it is something that today I was reading about
- 21:10Speaker 2: before I went on the program here today because it's
- 21:13Speaker 2: really heating up over there because a lot of the
- 21:17Speaker 2: Irish people of Irish heritage are really pissed because of
- 21:22Speaker 2: the double standard and the crime that's going on from
- 21:25Speaker 2: all these immigrants. And it was ignited by an immigrant that...
- 21:32Speaker 2: took an Irish guy and was trying to cut his
- 21:34Speaker 2: head off right on the street for no apparent reason
- 21:37Speaker 2: at all. And that was the straw that broke the
- 21:40Speaker 2: camel's back. And now many of the Irish people are
- 21:43Speaker 2: saying to their governments and to everyone else, what the
- 21:46Speaker 2: hell are you doing to this country and what is
- 21:47Speaker 2: going on here? It reminds me of the United States.
- 21:51Speaker 2: No one around here said, yeah, we want an open border.
- 21:54Speaker 2: Let millions of people in. It just happened to us. Well,
- 21:56Speaker 2: it's happening over there, and they've got major problems as
- 21:59Speaker 2: a result of it. Just as they do in Minnesota,
- 22:02Speaker 2: tampon Tim, millions and billions of dollars stolen by the
- 22:06Speaker 2: Somalians that are in Minnesota, and the same damn thing
- 22:10Speaker 2: here in Ohio. All right, go ahead, Ted.
- 22:13Speaker 3: I'll try to tie in what I was saying earlier,
- 22:15Speaker 3: because I kind of jumped around. Basically, going back to J.J.,
- 22:19Speaker 3: he admitted to you, he expressed his beliefs, and he
- 22:23Speaker 3: was pretty adamant about what he thought of the sentencing
- 22:26Speaker 3: of this kid, then you read him the facts of
- 22:29Speaker 3: the case. And he said, oh, I didn't know that.
- 22:34Speaker 3: He believed the liberal talking point that this kid was
- 22:36Speaker 3: just attacked and, you know, it was self-defense and all
- 22:40Speaker 3: that crap. So, and then your previous caller that I mentioned,
- 22:44Speaker 3: the first caller, just because Tucker Carlson says something doesn't
- 22:47Speaker 3: mean it's true. You know, look at Candace Owens, the
- 22:52Speaker 3: things that she has said. And She'll say anything. Candace
- 22:56Speaker 3: Owens has become one who will say anything to get clicks.
- 22:59Speaker 3: She gets paid by clicks.
- 23:00Speaker 2: But I want you to pause on that for a second.
- 23:04Speaker 2: You are, in my opinion, you are being too dismissive
- 23:08Speaker 2: of anyone that you disagree with.
- 23:11Speaker 5: No, no, no.
- 23:13Speaker 2: Just hang on a second. I don't think Tucker Carlson
- 23:16Speaker 2: is doing things just for clicks, and I don't think
- 23:18Speaker 2: Joe Rogan is. I think that these are very well-known people.
- 23:25Speaker 2: Most people that do podcasts, if you ask me, Ron,
- 23:29Speaker 2: what word do you despise more than any other word,
- 23:31Speaker 2: it's the word podcast.
- 23:34Speaker 3: So you despise Joe Rogan and Tucker Carlson?
- 23:36Speaker 2: No, I just despise that word because, in general, the
- 23:39Speaker 2: vast majority of them, very few people watch or listen to.
- 23:44Speaker 2: I'm just going to deal with reality. Very few people
- 23:47Speaker 2: watch or listen to them.
- 23:49Speaker 3: I'm very rare.
- 23:50Speaker 6: I do.
- 23:51Speaker 3: I listen to them 24-7.
- 23:53Speaker 2: With the exception of Joe Rogan, Tucker Carlson, Candace Owens.
- 24:01Speaker 2: Who's the guy, PBT or something like that? Yes, yes.
- 24:08Speaker 2: With the exception of him.
- 24:09Speaker 3: Paul David.
- 24:10Speaker 2: Yeah, that guy. I could go through. I could probably
- 24:13Speaker 2: name you. 10 or 15 off the top of my
- 24:18Speaker 2: head that are the main ones that people see. Yeah, PBT.
- 24:24Speaker 2: Bill O'Reilly would be one that's huge as well. Now,
- 24:29Speaker 2: what do many of these people have in common? Well,
- 24:32Speaker 2: many of them got their notoriety from what we call
- 24:36Speaker 2: traditional media. This would be considered traditional media, radio, television.
- 24:40Speaker 2: So Tucker Carlson got his notoriety and a big following
- 24:42Speaker 2: through Fox, as Bill O'Reilly did. Joe Rogan did not,
- 24:46Speaker 2: but Joe Rogan was kind of a pioneer when it
- 24:48Speaker 2: comes to podcasting. But a lot of these podcasts, they
- 24:53Speaker 2: don't get a lot of viewers, and they just don't
- 24:56Speaker 2: attract the large amount of crowds that traditional media attracts.
- 25:02Speaker 2: So I don't believe... That Tucker Carlson does. I think
- 25:07Speaker 2: it's dismissive to say he just does this for clicks.
- 25:10Speaker 2: If you look at his... He's controversial. Right.
- 25:13Speaker 3: What I'm saying is..
- 25:15Speaker 2: Right, he's controversial, but look at the people he's interviewing.
- 25:18Speaker 2: I mean, he's interviewing some very, very..
- 25:22Speaker 3: Don't get me wrong, I listen to him.
- 25:24Speaker 2: Right, I mean, he's interviewing some very..
- 25:26Speaker 3: I'm not being dismissive of him because I actually.
- 25:28Speaker 6: Listen to him.
- 25:29Speaker 2: Right, but he's interviewing... Because I listened to.
- 25:30Speaker 3: Joe Rogan and Terry Bradshaw for two hours.
- 25:33Speaker 2: Right, but he's interviewing some very influential, knowledgeable people that
- 25:40Speaker 2: are doing this stuff.
- 25:41Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't know that I would identify them all
- 25:43Speaker 3: as influential. I would definitely identify them all as interesting.
- 25:48Speaker 5: Well, I think they're very educated people.
- 25:50Speaker 3: Intelligent people, educated, obviously. Very educated people. Smarter than me,
- 25:55Speaker 3: that's for sure.
- 25:56Speaker 2: Yeah, but..
- 25:57Speaker 3: Just because we hear something doesn't mean it's true. I
- 26:01Speaker 3: don't understand how you can identify Graham Platner... In the
- 26:04Speaker 3: same sentence as Marjorie Taylor Greene.
- 26:06Speaker 2: I don't understand that yet, but in all reality, I
- 26:10Speaker 2: will ask him in a future program. Remember, I was
- 26:14Speaker 2: talking about the most important issue for about 51 minutes.
- 26:18Speaker 2: At some point, I got to move on.
- 26:19Speaker 3: I'll tell you what. I listened to him talk. That guy,
- 26:21Speaker 3: I'm not sure what his name is.
- 26:22Speaker 2: He's an extreme.
- 26:24Speaker 3: Oh, my goodness. Very smart guy.
- 26:26Speaker 2: Well, let me tell you about it. Let me just
- 26:27Speaker 2: tell you. He's an extremely smart man. And when it
- 26:32Speaker 2: comes to investing, I will say this to you. He
- 26:34Speaker 2: is a self-made multimillionaire. And he did not have it.
- 26:38Speaker 2: When it comes to investing, that guy's as sharp as
- 26:41Speaker 2: they come. And I tell you, for me, it's an
- 26:45Speaker 2: honor for me to be able to talk to him.
- 26:47Speaker 2: This might sound weird.
- 26:52Speaker 3: I don't know how else to say it, so I'll
- 26:56Speaker 3: just say it.
- 26:56Speaker 2: Let me take the weirdness out of it, Ted. Let
- 26:58Speaker 2: me take the weirdness out of it. I love you, too. Okay,
- 27:01Speaker 2: so that you don't.
- 27:03Speaker 3: Get out of here. When he speaks, there are certain
- 27:06Speaker 3: people that when they speak, you could hear the intelligence
- 27:09Speaker 3: in their brain.
- 27:10Speaker 5: Yes.
- 27:10Speaker 3: And he is one of those guys that calls this
- 27:13Speaker 3: program that is in the top 2% of intelligent people
- 27:18Speaker 3: that call your show. I mean, he's just very, you could,
- 27:21Speaker 3: there's nothing he doesn't say that he hasn't thought through
- 27:25Speaker 3: or researched or looked into. The only thing, the only
- 27:29Speaker 3: comment I was making is he made reference that listening
- 27:32Speaker 3: to Tucker talk about this grand platinum. And I've looked
- 27:34Speaker 3: into a lot of this grand platinum on my own.
- 27:37Speaker 3: And the guy's a screwball. So I would love to
- 27:40Speaker 3: hear him expand on how he is. Right.
- 27:44Speaker 2: Because he's a socialist. I will ask him on the
- 27:47Speaker 2: next call because I view him as a screwball, too. Now,
- 27:50Speaker 2: what I got from him, and it's for a future broadcast,
- 27:54Speaker 2: what I got from him is a lot of this
- 27:55Speaker 2: stuff is, you know, he's got the Nazi tattoo, but
- 27:59Speaker 2: they're saying some of this other stuff. is put out
- 28:01Speaker 2: there to try to destroy the guy. I don't know
- 28:04Speaker 2: if that's... I disagree.
- 28:04Speaker 3: There's receipts of all of his behavior and communication with girls.
- 28:09Speaker 3: The text messages are out. Ron, let me just put
- 28:11Speaker 3: it to you this way. You're a wise man, okay?
- 28:14Speaker 3: Any man above the age of 18, I think, has
- 28:18Speaker 3: a little bit of common sense, as does every woman.
- 28:21Speaker 3: Find me a person who doesn't know what that Nazi
- 28:25Speaker 3: symbol is or what it stands for. And find me
- 28:28Speaker 3: a person who would get that Nazi symbol tattooed on
- 28:31Speaker 3: their chest and say they didn't know what it was.
- 28:32Speaker 2: Oh, no, he knew what it is. That's all you
- 28:35Speaker 2: need to know about the guy. If you're asking me
- 28:39Speaker 2: the following question, would I vote for that guy? Absolutely not.
- 28:45Speaker 2: I mean, I think the guy is... I think he's
- 28:49Speaker 2: a liar and he had the Nazi tattoo and I
- 28:51Speaker 2: think he's lying about the other stuff. Would I, would
- 28:53Speaker 2: I ever vote for him? Never, ever, never. I believe
- 28:58Speaker 2: you should have a much better standard than that person, period.
- 29:02Speaker 2: But that's, I don't know how, I don't even know.
- 29:04Speaker 3: I was so taken back when your caller spoke so
- 29:06Speaker 3: highly of you.
- 29:07Speaker 2: Yeah, but I'll get to the bottom of it. I
- 29:09Speaker 2: don't even know how he won the primary, quite frankly.
- 29:12Speaker 2: Fuck me.
- 29:14Speaker 3: I mean, it's a liberal community.
- 29:16Speaker 2: Yeah, but even if it's a liberal community, this guy
- 29:19Speaker 2: is a disaster. It might be a liberal community, but
- 29:23Speaker 2: he does have the Nazi tattoo. He does have... He
- 29:26Speaker 2: was on these websites, apparently, and he does have all
- 29:30Speaker 2: of this baggage. And there's no way I could ever
- 29:35Speaker 2: support that. There is absolutely... No, sir and his answer
- 29:39Speaker 2: is well that was then this is now no that
- 29:43Speaker 2: was wrong then you knew it was wrong i i
- 29:47Speaker 2: just go back to say and i'll ask him about
- 29:49Speaker 2: it in the.
- 29:49Speaker 3: Future that tells you all you need to know about
- 29:51Speaker 3: the guy right.
- 29:52Speaker 2: I under no circumstances and i want to make it
- 29:54Speaker 2: clear i don't care if he's a democrat or republican
- 29:56Speaker 2: i wouldn't vote for him under any circumstances Any.
- 30:00Speaker 3: Agree.
- 30:02Speaker 2: Any circumstances.
- 30:03Speaker 6: Agree.
- 30:03Speaker 3: I've got two other things I want to say to
- 30:05Speaker 3: you before I forget.
- 30:07Speaker 6: Okay?
- 30:07Speaker 2: Yes.
- 30:08Speaker 3: Now, this is a serious question. Does Ron Ver believe
- 30:13Speaker 3: in the establishment and maintenance of a Jewish homeland in
- 30:16Speaker 3: the historic land of Israel? Simple question. Yes or no?
- 30:20Speaker 2: Does Ron Ver believe? Absolutely.
- 30:23Speaker 6: You're a Zionist.
- 30:26Speaker 3: So, that's my other thing that irritates me. Now, your
- 30:30Speaker 3: previous caller didn't irritate me. He was just interested in
- 30:33Speaker 3: why so many people throw that word out. You have
- 30:35Speaker 3: some callers, I won't mention their names. Right, right.
- 30:40Speaker 2: He's looking more of what's the definition of that, or
- 30:43Speaker 2: what do they mean by that, is I think what
- 30:45Speaker 2: he's saying.
- 30:46Speaker 3: That's the definition of a Zionist. A Zionist is someone
- 30:50Speaker 3: who believes and advocated in the 19th century for the
- 30:54Speaker 3: establishment and maintenance of a Jewish homeland in Israel.
- 30:57Speaker 2: Yeah, well, then I would be a Zionist. I would
- 30:59Speaker 2: believe in that, yes.
- 30:59Speaker 6: You believe in that?
- 31:00Speaker 3: Now, you've got a caller who loves to throw the
- 31:03Speaker 3: word Zionist out. Like it's some kind of, I don't know,
- 31:06Speaker 3: some kind of cult, some kind of ISIS-similar group of people.
- 31:13Speaker 3: I mean, that just speaks to the hate. Because the
- 31:15Speaker 3: only people, historically, Zionism emerged in response to anti-Semitism.
- 31:21Speaker 2: Right, but I will also, let me put a comment in.
- 31:24Speaker 2: That does not mean... Anything and everything Israel does is
- 31:27Speaker 2: acceptable to me as an American.
- 31:29Speaker 3: No, no. It's apples and oranges.
- 31:31Speaker 2: I mean, if you would ask me, do I think
- 31:35Speaker 2: that far too much special interest money from this lobby
- 31:42Speaker 2: group is going to Republicans and Democrats in our American
- 31:47Speaker 2: Congress and influencing them? My answer would be yes. And
- 31:51Speaker 2: keep in mind, they bragged about how they got Massey defeated.
- 31:55Speaker 2: They didn't want to say anything, but after it was done...
- 31:58Speaker 2: Massey was what.
- 31:59Speaker 3: They would consider an anti-Semite. He didn't support the Jewish state,
- 32:04Speaker 3: and so they do what they do.
- 32:05Speaker 2: No, he didn't support... See, he didn't... Listen, I'll be
- 32:10Speaker 2: the first guy. I don't support foreign aid at all.
- 32:12Speaker 2: And I'm going to tell you specifically why, folks. The
- 32:16Speaker 2: report came out this week about Social Security and Medicare.
- 32:20Speaker 3: What is it, like six more years, eight more years?
- 32:22Speaker 2: Seven, I believe. I want to get to that. I
- 32:25Speaker 2: don't even know if I get to it today. I
- 32:27Speaker 2: might have to get to it Monday. I've got too
- 32:28Speaker 2: much going on today. But I'm just going to tell
- 32:31Speaker 2: you this, and it's a future program. Okay, well, I
- 32:35Speaker 2: will remind you. Please do, because you will. I am
- 32:39Speaker 2: against all foreign aid. I don't care if it's for Israel, Egypt,
- 32:42Speaker 2: or any other country. The United States of America is broke.
- 32:45Speaker 2: We have $ 40- plus trillion and more in debt. If interest rates–
- 32:49Speaker 2: and as the debt grows, our second biggest expenditure of
- 32:53Speaker 2: our tax dollars is just paying the interest on the debt,
- 32:56Speaker 2: not lowering it, just paying the interest.
- 32:58Speaker 5: I am a person that says– Maybe I would disagree
- 33:00Speaker 5: with you.
- 33:01Speaker 2: Well, that's statistically true.
- 33:03Speaker 3: No, no, no, not on that. But maybe there's a
- 33:06Speaker 3: part of me that thinks maybe it's okay to have– No.
- 33:10Speaker 3: To give some allies support because we live.
- 33:12Speaker 2: In a world where people want to kill us. I
- 33:16Speaker 2: believe in America first. We cannot afford it. We are
- 33:19Speaker 2: broke as a country.
- 33:20Speaker 3: I believe in America first, too.
- 33:22Speaker 2: Okay, but we as a country.
- 33:23Speaker 3: Think about how vast that statement is because that includes
- 33:26Speaker 3: all that USAID money.
- 33:28Speaker 2: Right.
- 33:28Speaker 3: There's different forms of financial help that go out militarily.
- 33:34Speaker 3: So it's kind of hard to categorize that and paint
- 33:37Speaker 3: it with one brush and say I'm against it all.
- 33:39Speaker 3: I'm against a lot of that stuff, probably 80, 90%
- 33:43Speaker 3: of it, but I do think that we have to
- 33:45Speaker 3: protect our interests in the world, and if that means
- 33:47Speaker 3: we have to expend dollars to do that, I'm okay
- 33:52Speaker 3: with that.
- 33:52Speaker 2: Well, I am not in the following sense. This country
- 33:56Speaker 2: is broke. It is absolutely into a deep, dark hole,
- 34:00Speaker 2: and it's growing deeper each and every day, and under
- 34:04Speaker 2: Democrats and Republicans. And I am here to tell each
- 34:07Speaker 2: and every one of you the crap is very close
- 34:10Speaker 2: to hitting the fan. And when I'm reading about the
- 34:15Speaker 2: situation with Social Security and Medicare, and I'll get into
- 34:18Speaker 2: this on Monday, like seven years away from when they're
- 34:22Speaker 2: saying we will only be able to pay people maybe 75%
- 34:25Speaker 2: of what they have coming.
- 34:29Speaker 3: I just thought of something else.
- 34:33Speaker 2: Can I change this direction? No, you can't. Just give
- 34:35Speaker 2: me a minute. 75% of what they got coming. I'm
- 34:38Speaker 2: going to sit here and they say, we need to make,
- 34:42Speaker 2: in this article that I get to, we need to
- 34:44Speaker 2: make changes to Social Security in the future. And that
- 34:48Speaker 2: always means one thing. They want to raise the retirement age.
- 34:51Speaker 2: The full retirement age is now 67, which tells me
- 34:54Speaker 2: they want to raise the full retirement age to 70.
- 34:58Speaker 2: I am dead ass against all of this stuff from
- 35:00Speaker 2: these people. I am totally and completely opposed to it.
- 35:04Speaker 2: We can give billions of dollars to all of these
- 35:06Speaker 2: other countries. I don't care if it's Ukraine. I don't
- 35:10Speaker 2: care if it's Egypt. I don't care if it's Israel.
- 35:12Speaker 2: I don't care what country it is. We give billions
- 35:15Speaker 2: of dollars away, and in the same breath, they're talking
- 35:19Speaker 2: about screwing our senior citizens, our American senior citizens, out
- 35:23Speaker 2: of the money they're deserved. The people that are on
- 35:26Speaker 2: Social Security don't get very much money in a retirement
- 35:29Speaker 2: at all. I mean, it's not a bundle of money.
- 35:32Speaker 2: You pay into it all your life, and most people
- 35:36Speaker 2: get around $ 2, 000 in that ballpark. And if you're on
- 35:40Speaker 2: the high end, if you're on the high end, you
- 35:42Speaker 2: get about $ 3, 500 a month. I'm talking a month. It's
- 35:46Speaker 2: not a lot of money. And for the discussion to be, well,
- 35:50Speaker 2: you might only be able to afford 75% of it,
- 35:53Speaker 2: is utter bullcrap. I am against all foreign aid. I
- 35:56Speaker 2: believe we should shore up Social Security with our tax dollars.
- 36:01Speaker 2: There's no law against taking our tax dollars and boosting
- 36:04Speaker 2: the system up as opposed to giving it to all
- 36:06Speaker 2: these other countries. We were funding the retirement plan in Ukraine.
- 36:12Speaker 2: We were paying for their first responders. We were supplementing
- 36:16Speaker 2: their farmers, their small businesses. All of that the United
- 36:20Speaker 2: States was funding. So it's okay to do that, but
- 36:24Speaker 2: to let our own senior citizens potentially screw them in
- 36:27Speaker 2: seven years? Or change your retirement age in hopes that
- 36:31Speaker 2: you die before you ever collect it. I am totally
- 36:36Speaker 2: and completely opposed to this at all. But it's a
- 36:39Speaker 2: whole separate program. I'm going to expose it all, and
- 36:42Speaker 2: it'll be next week. Hang on, Ted. I'll let you
- 36:44Speaker 2: get back to what you wanted to say in a minute.
- 36:47Speaker 2: Ron Verb, NewsRadio 570 WKBN from the Kingdom of Mahoning.
- 36:50Speaker 2: Good to be with you. 570 WKBN. Back to it,
- 36:54Speaker 2: NewsRadio 570 WKBN. You're on the air.
- 36:59Speaker 6: Wow, Ron, I agree almost a thousand percent that Ted's
- 37:04Speaker 6: a conservative, and I would hope. I have faith that
- 37:09Speaker 6: Rich the pharmacist, Baba Ganoush, the old-timer, would all think
- 37:14Speaker 6: the same way. You let that no-good person say all
- 37:21Speaker 6: that stuff. Then he went on, oh, Ireland, you know,
- 37:24Speaker 6: the Pakistanis and the Indians. That's weird. He didn't mention
- 37:30Speaker 6: anybody else doing it, like the Somalis or the Sudanese.
- 37:35Speaker 2: You mean you're talking about Ireland?
- 37:38Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 37:39Speaker 3: Right.
- 37:40Speaker 2: Well, he's talking about the prevalence of what's going on
- 37:45Speaker 2: over there.
- 37:49Speaker 6: And just like Ted the Conservatives. Jake the Zionist says,
- 37:53Speaker 6: holy hell, Ron, were you not listening to what the
- 37:55Speaker 6: guy was saying about Graham Pratt? And you're saying, oh,
- 37:59Speaker 6: we'll get back to it. I'll ask him about that.
- 38:01Speaker 5: You're going to ask him about a guy.
- 38:03Speaker 6: Sexting little girls while the rest of your callers are
- 38:07Speaker 6: going to mention Epstein, right? And then the other ones,
- 38:12Speaker 6: I guess, are with him because he has a Nazi tattoo,
- 38:15Speaker 6: a Nazi death camp tattoo. And then he's roughing up
- 38:19Speaker 6: the women. And then he's speaking that against our U.S.
- 38:24Speaker 3: Military.
- 38:25Speaker 6: Again and again and again. Wasn't it youthful indiscretion? He
- 38:29Speaker 6: didn't have a DUI when he was 18. He knew
- 38:33Speaker 6: exactly what he was doing. And this guy, I've heard
- 38:37Speaker 6: him before, and he says disgusting stuff every time he calls. Oh,
- 38:42Speaker 6: I can't trade anymore because of boycott, divest, and sanction.
- 38:46Speaker 6: You know, in Ohio, they won't let me be anti-Semite
- 38:51Speaker 6: and trade.
- 38:52Speaker 3: Yes, they will.
- 38:53Speaker 2: No, that guy isn't Frank.
- 38:59Speaker 6: He repeats the same thing.
- 39:01Speaker 2: With what he said about Graham Pratt. No, he isn't.
- 39:03Speaker 2: He was saying, I watched an interview where they were
- 39:07Speaker 2: saying that they were trying to get this guy out
- 39:11Speaker 2: by putting this stuff together. And I said, I didn't
- 39:14Speaker 2: see it. I got to watch it. I'll say it
- 39:17Speaker 2: to you again. Would I vote for him? I don't
- 39:19Speaker 2: give a damn if he's a Republican or Democrat. I
- 39:21Speaker 2: would not vote for him. But I will ask him.
- 39:24Speaker 6: That's really going out on a limb.
- 39:26Speaker 2: Okay.
- 39:27Speaker 6: You won't vote for that guy.
- 39:29Speaker 5: Right.
- 39:30Speaker 2: But I'll find out.
- 39:31Speaker 6: Who would he interview with?
- 39:32Speaker 2: I'll find out. I don't know. I don't know. I've
- 39:34Speaker 2: got to find out from him.
- 39:35Speaker 6: You think it might be Tucker Katara?
- 39:41Speaker 7: From ABC News, I'm Chuck Sievertson. Wall Street's major indexes
- 39:46Speaker 7: headed for the skies. Investor confidence boosted by SpaceX's debut
- 39:50Speaker 7: on the NASDAQ today. The rocket company ending more than 19%
- 39:54Speaker 7: above where they started. Launching Elon Musk as the world's
- 39:57Speaker 7: first trillionaire.
- 40:00Speaker 8: The company's controversial chief executive, Elon Musk, watched the ringing
- 40:03Speaker 8: of the opening bell at the Nasdaq exchange from SpaceX
- 40:06Speaker 8: headquarters in South Texas.
- 40:08Speaker 2: I told people this.
- 40:09Speaker 3: I said, look, we're probably going to fail, but, you know,
- 40:10Speaker 3: we should give it a try because if there's not
- 40:12Speaker 3: a new company that enters space, we will never be
- 40:15Speaker 3: a truly space-faring civilization.
- 40:17Speaker 8: Saying he originally didn't give the company much of a chance.
- 40:20Speaker 8: Jim Ryan, ABC News.
- 40:21Speaker 7: The market's also responding well to news that the U.S.
- 40:24Speaker 7: and Iran could be nearing a deal to reopen the
- 40:26Speaker 7: Strait of Hormuz. Crude oil prices dropped.
- 40:29Speaker 2: Both U.S.
- 40:29Speaker 7: And Iranian officials making conflicting statements, as there may be
- 40:32Speaker 7: some kind of announcement in Geneva this weekend. ABC News
- 40:36Speaker 7: contributor and former Deputy Secretary of Defense on the Middle East,
- 40:39Speaker 7: Mick Mulroy.
- 40:40Speaker 9: Ultimately, if the two sides don't agree on the terms,
- 40:43Speaker 9: they don't have an agreement. And I can't imagine why
- 40:47Speaker 9: Iran would be leaking, you know, false information on the
- 40:51Speaker 9: agreement for any other purpose than to scuttle the negotiations.
- 40:54Speaker 7: Police say they know who the shooter was this morning
- 40:57Speaker 7: in Midland, Texas. A person sought for the alleged attempted
- 40:59Speaker 7: murder of an officer earlier this week. They say after
- 41:02Speaker 7: that person is dead. Nine others taken to the hospital.
- 41:06Speaker 7: Workers preparing to take President Trump's name off the Kennedy
- 41:09Speaker 7: Center in Washington. Today is the court-ordered deadline to do so,
- 41:13Speaker 7: and a federal judge has denied a last-minute appeal to
- 41:15Speaker 7: stop it. Now the Justice Department's filing another last-minute appeal.
- 41:19Speaker 7: ABC's Peter Harlamus.
- 41:21Speaker 3: Trump was planning on closing down the Kennedy Center for
- 41:23Speaker 3: about two years, pouring about a quarter billion dollars into improving.
- 41:27Speaker 2: The center overall.
- 41:28Speaker 5: Trump has now basically said that if his name's not
- 41:30Speaker 5: on it, that renovation's not happening.
- 41:32Speaker 7: Marlon Booth saying that the chief executive very angry about
- 41:35Speaker 7: the situation.
- 41:36Speaker 2: You're listening to ABC News.
