- 0:02Speaker 1: And Josh one hundred right so.
- 0:04Speaker 2: Off the air, Josh was complaining about his parents, which
- 0:07Speaker 2: he does non stop.
- 0:12Speaker 3: What's going on with your rents?
- 0:13Speaker 1: Well, it is something that is becoming a bigger and
- 0:15Speaker 1: bigger problem in my life.
- 0:17Speaker 4: And I always know that.
- 0:19Speaker 1: Like the older you get, usually you tend to go
- 0:21Speaker 1: to bed a bit earlier. Uh, just because you're watching
- 0:25Speaker 1: your programs on TV. And once those end, you go
- 0:27Speaker 1: to bed. She wrote, that's what they're doing. I've just noticed, Well,
- 0:37Speaker 1: that's what my parents do. They like dinner and TV
- 0:39Speaker 1: and then go to bed. What I've just noticed that
- 0:41Speaker 1: the earlier and earlier they go to bed, I'm like
- 0:44Speaker 1: unable to have my problems fixed now. It's it's not,
- 0:47Speaker 1: you know, a secret here that I haven't had a
- 0:49Speaker 1: very hard life. I've been able to get by with
- 0:52Speaker 1: my parents helping me out with a lot of things.
- 0:55Speaker 1: I think the question Jeremy asks all the time is
- 0:57Speaker 1: how are you even living right now? But that being said,
- 1:00Speaker 1: when I need to ask them a question, I'll just
- 1:02Speaker 1: shoot them a quick text or something like that. And
- 1:05Speaker 1: I can't do it seriously past like six forty five now,
- 1:09Speaker 1: because they turn their phones off and then they go
- 1:11Speaker 1: to bed, and I'm like.
- 1:13Speaker 3: Dn n earlier than me.
- 1:14Speaker 4: I need like dinner.
- 1:15Speaker 1: Recipes and stuff like that, and I have to get
- 1:17Speaker 1: that like twenty four hours in advance now and plan
- 1:20Speaker 1: my day about what I'm eating.
- 1:21Speaker 2: That that's why you're calling your mom is for recipes
- 1:24Speaker 2: for anything.
- 1:24Speaker 1: I mean, I was talking to her about the Colorado election,
- 1:28Speaker 1: the local election going on last night, and seriously, the
- 1:31Speaker 1: conversation ended at six point thirty, and I had questions
- 1:34Speaker 1: because it was such a close race for many of
- 1:35Speaker 1: those candidates that I was texting her back and forth
- 1:38Speaker 1: and then just cut off all of a sudden.
- 1:40Speaker 3: Happen then be going to bed now.
- 1:41Speaker 1: I got that answer at promptly at seven fifteen this morning,
- 1:44Speaker 1: and I'm like, well, I need like serious, like if
- 1:47Speaker 1: there's something serious that happens, how am I going to
- 1:49Speaker 1: talk to them? They turn their phones off, They are
- 1:51Speaker 1: unreachable past six thirty in their parents. So I always
- 1:55Speaker 1: have had the really young parents, like my parents are
- 1:58Speaker 1: fifty five and fifty sevens.
- 2:00Speaker 5: Don't even they should not be gone to bed.
- 2:01Speaker 3: Yeah, I was a little.
- 2:03Speaker 2: Early, although like there's days where I look at the
- 2:05Speaker 2: clock and it's like, well, four pm.
- 2:08Speaker 3: I'd best be hitting the sec for you and us.
- 2:10Speaker 4: It does make sense, it really does.
- 2:12Speaker 3: Twenty two years of three thirty in the morning.
- 2:14Speaker 1: Yeah, and like it just so happens, like we were.
- 2:17Speaker 1: My mom likes to make a weekly meal where I
- 2:19Speaker 1: come over and eat with them, and that thing is
- 2:21Speaker 1: getting early, like it is it she's three thirty, text
- 2:24Speaker 1: me you're coming over for dinner at four fifteen.
- 2:27Speaker 2: I'm like, ah, yes, homemade hot pockets.
- 2:31Speaker 3: You'll never get the recipe.
- 2:32Speaker 4: Though, nezletulos. Is that what it is?
- 2:36Speaker 1: But it's one of those things that it's just becoming
- 2:38Speaker 1: a bigger and bigger problem.
- 2:40Speaker 4: And I wonder do you guys deal with that?
- 2:41Speaker 1: Because Jar, I know you have gone to bed, like
- 2:43Speaker 1: you said, for twenty years now, relatively early.
- 2:46Speaker 2: It is different for sure because of the job situation
- 2:49Speaker 2: that Yeah, Like truly, when seven thirty rolls around, I'm toast.
- 2:52Speaker 3: I'm done.
- 2:52Speaker 2: Yeah, And there are definitely nights where maybe we're having
- 2:56Speaker 2: dinner or something at five thirty and I'll look over
- 2:59Speaker 2: Edna and be like, I gotta go to bed after this.
- 3:02Speaker 3: I'm just toast. But again, it's it's different, I will
- 3:06Speaker 3: say in your parents'.
- 3:07Speaker 2: Defense, As I age, I am loving more and more
- 3:15Speaker 2: when I get the chance, especially on weekends, to get
- 3:18Speaker 2: up early and just be outside and smell the morning air. Here,
- 3:22Speaker 2: the morning birds just have the morning feel versus the
- 3:28Speaker 2: night feel. Something has shifted, you know where back in
- 3:31Speaker 2: the day it was like nine o'clock things are just
- 3:33Speaker 2: getting started. We're gonna go out to Rock Island and
- 3:36Speaker 2: tear it up. Yes, no, it's something. Something magical happens morning.
- 3:41Speaker 2: It's morning two. As you approach your fifties, something switches
- 3:46Speaker 2: and you really appreciate early mornings.
- 3:48Speaker 1: So that's funny that you say that, because my dad
- 3:50Speaker 1: is obsessed with mornings, Like he is the guy that
- 3:53Speaker 1: is up. And I remember when I lived at my
- 3:55Speaker 1: parents' house, Like you'd hear My room was in the basement,
- 3:57Speaker 1: and I'd hear him walking up. I mean, look four
- 3:59Speaker 1: thirty in the more, five in the morning, walking around,
- 4:01Speaker 1: starting the coffee, all that stuff, and it's him. They
- 4:05Speaker 1: have they have a nice back porch area and it
- 4:07Speaker 1: faces east so you can watch the sunrise.
- 4:09Speaker 4: But he is obsessed with that. And I'm like, I try.
- 4:12Speaker 1: To keep my mornings, you know, when I'm not working,
- 4:14Speaker 1: I try to sleep in I try to get my
- 4:16Speaker 1: sleep back, try to recoup that that I've lost. I am,
- 4:19Speaker 1: I have not hit that yet, but I guess there
- 4:22Speaker 1: is an actual turn, because like there's a shift. Are
- 4:25Speaker 1: you listening, You're you're Do you have your book of
- 4:27Speaker 1: birds yet?
- 4:27Speaker 4: That you look?
- 4:28Speaker 3: I don't have my bird? You know what starts hitting
- 4:34Speaker 3: better too?
- 4:36Speaker 2: Your morning coffee starts hitting better than those drinks at
- 4:39Speaker 2: night as well.
- 4:40Speaker 3: Oh yeah, that's part of it.
- 4:42Speaker 5: It makes you way better.
- 4:44Speaker 3: I go to bed sometimes thinking about my morning coffee.
- 4:46Speaker 1: Yeah, no, Katie, you famously are like, I mean, not anymore,
- 4:52Speaker 1: but the tupot coffee.
- 4:54Speaker 5: Yeah. I used to drink a lot of coffee and
- 4:56Speaker 5: I still drink a good amount.
- 4:57Speaker 4: Are you the type of person though, to get it
- 4:59Speaker 4: ready the night before? Yeah?
- 5:00Speaker 5: Oh yes, because yeah, you have to just press the buttons.
- 5:03Speaker 1: Oh so you're talking, you're tucking your coffee beans in
- 5:05Speaker 1: bed and getting it ready?
- 5:06Speaker 5: Yeah, good nighttime story. Yeah, like we definitely get.
- 5:12Speaker 1: Really but do you okay? So then let me ask
- 5:13Speaker 1: you this, because I'm not like an avid coffee drinker.
- 5:15Speaker 1: Then are you a favorite like you know brand or
- 5:20Speaker 1: is it any type of coffee.
- 5:22Speaker 4: In the world?
- 5:22Speaker 5: I like the it's a local brand actually starts at
- 5:25Speaker 5: the bee. What is it not Boyars Not? I can't
- 5:29Speaker 5: remember the name of it right now. Maybe it is
- 5:31Speaker 5: boys but yeah, no, I get the whole beans and
- 5:34Speaker 5: then I get them, you know, I crush them and stuff.
- 5:37Speaker 4: So guys are so cute.
- 5:38Speaker 3: I love coffee.
- 5:39Speaker 5: Yeah, it's a big deal. And as you get older,
- 5:42Speaker 5: you just have so many things to look forward to,
- 5:43Speaker 5: so coffee is definitely one of them.
- 5:45Speaker 2: One of the better things too about getting up early
- 5:47Speaker 2: is getting out and running your errands early as well.
- 5:50Speaker 2: So you don't want to stay out late because I'm
- 5:53Speaker 2: gonna tell you if you want like a feel good
- 5:56Speaker 2: orgasmic feeling is when you roll into Walmart six am.
- 6:01Speaker 3: To get some errands done and nobody's there. Yeah, the
- 6:04Speaker 3: lanes are wide open.
- 6:06Speaker 4: I'm starting to get like that.
- 6:07Speaker 2: That's why your parents are doing this until you know
- 6:10Speaker 2: you're an adult. That is why your parents are going
- 6:12Speaker 2: to bed because they're like, we got to get to
- 6:13Speaker 2: Walmart at six am before all the weird i was
- 6:15Speaker 2: get there.
- 6:17Speaker 3: You can park right up front and rolling a lying.
- 6:22Speaker 4: He's like, oh yeah, not because the weirdo's start.
- 6:25Speaker 3: Rolling in at about seven thirty.
- 6:26Speaker 5: That's fun in itself, though people watching that is a
- 6:29Speaker 5: drag themselves.
- 6:31Speaker 2: Well, maybe you should have a talk with your parents
- 6:33Speaker 2: and be like, hey, can you just, you know, try
- 6:35Speaker 2: to take.
- 6:36Speaker 3: My calls past six forty five every night and.
- 6:38Speaker 4: They kindly say no, they say no, no.
- 6:41Speaker 5: Schedule it. Like with baby Nana, like we I make
- 6:43Speaker 5: sure I have time to talk to her after she
- 6:45Speaker 5: gets off work. She calls me. We talked for about
- 6:48Speaker 5: forty five minutes, and it's in the window of before
- 6:51Speaker 5: I go to bed, after she gots off work. The
- 6:53Speaker 5: only thing is is it's like six o'clock and I've
- 6:55Speaker 5: used all my words by that point. So I just
- 6:57Speaker 5: tell her, I'm like, go ahead and talk. I'm just
- 6:58Speaker 5: gonna listen.
- 6:59Speaker 4: See that's a real thing. So that's her Japathon hour, right.
- 7:02Speaker 5: And she goes and goes and goes, and I just listen.
- 7:06Speaker 5: So but I'm there for her arcade.
- 7:08Speaker 4: Good parenting tips right there.
- 7:10Speaker 2: Shout out to twenty nine who oh one who texted
- 7:12Speaker 2: in and said, what is Josh like twelve?
- 7:15Speaker 3: Because your parents are so young? Yes, actually he just
- 7:17Speaker 3: turned fourteen, Yeah exactly. His learner's been soon.
- 7:21Speaker 1: Yay.
