- 0:13Speaker 2: Hey, let's take some calls. Eight hundred three two one
- 0:18Speaker 2: zero seven ten. Eight hundred three two one zero seven ten.
- 0:22Speaker 2: Let's go to Brian in Grantwich, Connecticut. Brian, how you doing?
- 0:27Speaker 3: Hey, Mark, good morning. I hope you're doing well. So
- 0:30Speaker 3: I loved you. I loved your piece on the ice
- 0:32Speaker 3: agents at the airport. So my girlfriend's a little woke
- 0:36Speaker 3: and she was flying to Hawaii to see her her kids.
- 0:41Speaker 3: And when she landed, she called me and said, you
- 0:43Speaker 3: know what, Brian, I've never seen it smoother. And he
- 0:46Speaker 3: could not have been nicer. Guys, So that's a little
- 0:49Speaker 3: bit of an idditt to what you just mentioned before.
- 0:52Speaker 2: Right now, when you say your girlfriend's a little woke,
- 0:55Speaker 2: what does that mean? How woke is she?
- 0:57Speaker 3: Well, you know she's she's not voting for my guy,
- 1:01Speaker 3: I'll tell you that. But it's okay along very well, yea.
- 1:05Speaker 3: But I just said I share that with you. You
- 1:07Speaker 3: and I met a couple of a couple of months
- 1:08Speaker 3: ago and said Jay House.
- 1:12Speaker 2: That's Tony. Tony's restaurant at Jay House, the biggest hot
- 1:16Speaker 2: spot of Greenwich. Of course there's Pulto, there's a scale.
- 1:19Speaker 2: But Tony, very good, thanks for calling. Let's go to
- 1:23Speaker 2: uh Rich and Myrtle Beach Rich. How you doing?
- 1:27Speaker 4: Thank Mark voting away his If she's not voting away
- 1:30Speaker 4: he at least I hope she's super hot, you know.
- 1:32Speaker 2: But well I didn't want to. I didn't want to
- 1:34Speaker 2: say it. But obviously this woman is super hot. If
- 1:38Speaker 2: this guy is putting up with the woke craft, she
- 1:40Speaker 2: must look great.
- 1:42Speaker 4: You know. I want to prefer Trump behind the desk.
- 1:45Speaker 4: And in one paragraph he says that harmu straight has
- 1:47Speaker 4: nothing to do with our oil. And in the next
- 1:50Speaker 4: paragraph he says the price of oil and gas is
- 1:53Speaker 4: up because of almost truth, because of the straight. So
- 1:56Speaker 4: somebody who wrote that speech should have double checked that.
- 1:58Speaker 2: No, it is no, it's correct. See what happens is
- 2:02Speaker 2: we don't get any oil from there. There's no reason
- 2:04Speaker 2: for us to pay anymore because we got we make
- 2:06Speaker 2: our own straight. So home thiss doesn't affect us. But
- 2:09Speaker 2: it's these oil guys that these jr Ewings that run
- 2:12Speaker 2: all the oil companies. They all conspire that our oil
- 2:16Speaker 2: is that's right West Texas Intermediate. They'll claim, well, we
- 2:19Speaker 2: have to raise it because the world market they raise
- 2:22Speaker 2: it anyway. So he could step in and do something,
- 2:25Speaker 2: but it's going to be over.
- 2:26Speaker 4: I hope he does.
- 2:27Speaker 2: I hope he does. No reason to it. It'll be
- 2:29Speaker 2: over in three weeks, no reason that you know.
- 2:31Speaker 4: As far as NATO is concerned, you brought up a
- 2:34Speaker 4: good point. They're totally feckless. They're useless. They have a
- 2:37Speaker 4: war on their own continent for the first time since
- 2:40Speaker 4: World War Two, and they can't deal with any of
- 2:42Speaker 4: it on their own without the US help. They're terrible.
- 2:45Speaker 4: They're like babies.
- 2:46Speaker 2: Yeah, no, they're absolutely worthless. You're right, we got to
- 2:48Speaker 2: get out of NATO. Also, you know these organizations, the
- 2:52Speaker 2: United Nations, nineteen forty eight, it was created. It's been
- 2:55Speaker 2: over there for nineteen forty eight. How many years is
- 2:58Speaker 2: it's like eighty something years. Name one thing they've ever
- 3:01Speaker 2: done for anybody anything, United Nations. Get rid of that
- 3:06Speaker 2: whole place, close it down, get rid of NATO. Let's
- 3:09Speaker 2: go to David Long Island. David, how you doing.
- 3:13Speaker 5: I'm good, but I do think there's a reason to
- 3:16Speaker 5: stay in NATO. But it's not because our allies are
- 3:20Speaker 5: dependable or anything like that. The reason we should stay
- 3:23Speaker 5: in NATO is because by treaty, it forces this country
- 3:27Speaker 5: to spend five of GDP on defense.
- 3:31Speaker 2: If we ever have a.
- 3:33Speaker 5: Democrat Democrat administration in the future, they will gut our
- 3:38Speaker 5: military down to nothing and we will be butt naked
- 3:41Speaker 5: if we ever need.
- 3:43Speaker 2: That's a good point. But remember under Biden, under Jimmy Carter,
- 3:46Speaker 2: we did gut the military even though we were NATO members,
- 3:49Speaker 2: So you could still gut it anyway. They just spend
- 3:51Speaker 2: the money.
- 3:52Speaker 5: Do you think you can gut it? But you can't
- 3:54Speaker 5: with China building ships like crazy.
- 3:56Speaker 2: I'm not saying I'm not saying you should. I'm just
- 3:59Speaker 2: saying it is possible. They did it under Jimmy Carter,
- 4:02Speaker 2: they do it under Biden. You still have to spend
- 4:04Speaker 2: the five percent. It's a NATO rule. But what they
- 4:07Speaker 2: do is instead of building planes and ships and tanks
- 4:09Speaker 2: to spend the money on diversity programs, diversity training, They'll
- 4:14Speaker 2: just spend it differently. That's the problem. Let's go to
- 4:16Speaker 2: Bill in Hamburg, New Jersey. Bill, how you doing good?
- 4:21Speaker 6: Mark, thank you. A quick word about the moonshot you
- 4:23Speaker 6: have today. First of all, the camera covers was terrible.
- 4:27Speaker 6: I was very disappointed about that. But when I lived
- 4:30Speaker 6: in Florida, I used to go to moonshots berk shiding,
- 4:33Speaker 6: the ground is vibrating, the water in that lake is
- 4:36Speaker 6: shimmering and shivering. But I'm asking myself a question from
- 4:40Speaker 6: when I used to go to them back in the
- 4:43Speaker 6: late sixties, fifty years later, what the hell have I
- 4:47Speaker 6: benefited from any moonshots? And what will I benefit this one?
- 4:50Speaker 2: You actually have benefited a lot from the space programs
- 4:53Speaker 2: because they've invented a ton of stuff in the space
- 4:57Speaker 2: programs that helped us lay. That's where my crow waves
- 5:00Speaker 2: were invented, MRIs were invented. There's a list you can
- 5:03Speaker 2: go online and find it by like two hundred important
- 5:06Speaker 2: inventions that came as a result of the space program.
- 5:09Speaker 2: So that's now. Some people will argue that's in the
- 5:12Speaker 2: sixties seventies. You don't really need that anymore because Silicon
- 5:16Speaker 2: Valley and Apple and all the tech companies they're now
- 5:20Speaker 2: doing stuff that comes out with all these inventions. So
- 5:23Speaker 2: without some people will argue, if you look at the
- 5:25Speaker 2: last twenty years, more inventions have come from those tech
- 5:30Speaker 2: companies than from the space program. I think the most
- 5:33Speaker 2: fascinating thing is nineteen sixties, seventies. You're watching the rocket
- 5:37Speaker 2: takeoff the capsule. What it looks like, What the rocket
- 5:40Speaker 2: looks like. It's a billion years later, it's twenty twenty six.
- 5:43Speaker 2: I'm watching this just a little rocket looks exactly the same.
- 5:46Speaker 2: It's the same looking capsule. Nothing changed in fifty years
- 5:50Speaker 2: since the last time you went to the moon. Same
- 5:51Speaker 2: look of everything. You think it would look like a
- 5:55Speaker 2: tesla or something. You think it would look entirely different. Now, Hey,
- 6:00Speaker 2: when we come back, Steve Moore. We hope Steve Moore
- 6:03Speaker 2: will be with us next lots to talk to him
- 6:05Speaker 2: about what about these oil prices, gas prices, stock market.
- 6:09Speaker 2: We'll get to all of that in a moment. On
- 6:10Speaker 2: seven to ten, wor
