- 0:30Speaker 2: Of the Headquarters. Hello, it's Hop.
- 0:37Speaker 3: Los Vegas. But you lost another.
- 0:41Speaker 4: One, yo, yo, yo, what's up?
- 0:56Speaker 2: What's up? Happy Monday to everybody out there. It's in
- 1:00Speaker 2: your brother, mister his Hot and welcome to His Hot
- 1:04Speaker 2: radio podcast. This is verse by verse. Hey, we jump
- 1:08Speaker 2: on here Monday through Saturday, every day at eleven am
- 1:12Speaker 2: Pacific Standard time, so that we can go through the
- 1:16Speaker 2: Word together, encourage each other and meet each other in
- 1:20Speaker 2: the life chat where we uplift, sharpen one another, hold
- 1:26Speaker 2: each other accountable, encourage each other to walk down this
- 1:30Speaker 2: narrow path because we know broad is a way that
- 1:33Speaker 2: leads to destruction, but narrow is a path that leads
- 1:37Speaker 2: to life. And basically it's the difference between those who
- 1:41Speaker 2: listen to Jesus and those who don't. Right like, you
- 1:45Speaker 2: could be up in church in ministry and still not
- 1:50Speaker 2: have a life submitted to the Lord Jesus Christ. So
- 1:53Speaker 2: here we are learning. We are training. Our cry is Lord,
- 1:58Speaker 2: teach us your ways. We are are endeavoring to be followers.
- 2:03Speaker 2: That means listeners, that means doers of the word right,
- 2:08Speaker 2: apply it in our lives. And so that's where the
- 2:10Speaker 2: accountability partner helps us with. We look into God's word
- 2:15Speaker 2: and we try to put it into practice. We know
- 2:18Speaker 2: no one is perfect, but we got to be on
- 2:21Speaker 2: the journey right. We got to exercise that muscle of faith.
- 2:25Speaker 2: And we need each other to keep us encouraged because
- 2:30Speaker 2: it's not easy. Amen. We need to be renewed in
- 2:34Speaker 2: our minds. We need to ask God for his grace. Yes,
- 2:39Speaker 2: we need to do that, and hopefully you do have
- 2:43Speaker 2: a local church that you're plugged into. But also we
- 2:47Speaker 2: do help. We come alongside you on this podcast if
- 2:52Speaker 2: you need prayer, if you need encouragement. The Bible says
- 2:57Speaker 2: one can take a thousand the flight, but ten can
- 3:01Speaker 2: take I mean two can take ten thousand to flight.
- 3:05Speaker 2: So we are here as your family to help each
- 3:10Speaker 2: and every one of us cross that finish line of faith,
- 3:14Speaker 2: and that is to be in the presence of God
- 3:18Speaker 2: and hear those words good and faithful servant. Amen. That
- 3:22Speaker 2: is our goal, that's our agenda. We tell you upfront,
- 3:26Speaker 2: that's why this podcast exists. And so we hope that
- 3:30Speaker 2: you meet us every day at eleven to get encouragement,
- 3:33Speaker 2: to get strengthened in your faith. It's almost like working
- 3:37Speaker 2: out at the gym. Right. The more you do, the
- 3:39Speaker 2: more discipline that you apply to it, the more you'll
- 3:42Speaker 2: get out of it. Amen. And with that being said,
- 3:50Speaker 2: let's pray. Oh well, let me tell you how to
- 3:51Speaker 2: meet us in a life chat real quick. All you
- 3:54Speaker 2: have to do is download that His Hot Radio app
- 3:56Speaker 2: is Hishop on all platforms. Download the app, and then
- 4:02Speaker 2: once you do, go to the top left menu, hit
- 4:05Speaker 2: that drop down and then hit the live chat. It
- 4:10Speaker 2: only takes a few seconds of register. All you have
- 4:13Speaker 2: to do is tap in and user name, email address,
- 4:16Speaker 2: a password and we will say welcome to his Hot Family.

- 4:26Speaker 2: hot Nation dot com and uh we will love to
- 4:32Speaker 2: welcome you there as well. All right, let's go before
- 4:37Speaker 2: our Father and prayer. Evenly, Father, we thank you, Father
- 4:40Speaker 2: God for another opportunity, Father God, to serve another opportunity
- 4:45Speaker 2: to be blessed another opportunity to look into your word.
- 4:49Speaker 2: We ask o God for revelation. We ask for the
- 4:52Speaker 2: rama Word, Oh God. We ask for your presence, Oh God,
- 4:55Speaker 2: Oh Lord, that you will watch over this podcast. We
- 4:58Speaker 2: pray Father, God Lord, that every year that's intended will
- 5:02Speaker 2: hear it. Lord God, that people will get touched, encouraged,
- 5:06Speaker 2: set free, healed, and delivered as we go through your word,
- 5:10Speaker 2: your principles, and learn, Oh God, more about you and
- 5:14Speaker 2: your character. We asked us in Jesus' name, Amen and amen.
- 5:23Speaker 2: All right. So we are still in the Book of Jeremiah,
- 5:27Speaker 2: chapter twelve and the last episode, Jeremiah asked a question.
- 5:35Speaker 2: The question is why do the wicked prospers? It seems
- 5:40Speaker 2: like wicked people have it easy, while righteous people have
- 5:44Speaker 2: to be tested by the Lord. We have to go
- 5:48Speaker 2: through trial and temptation. We have to pass our tests.
- 5:54Speaker 2: We have to go through persecution, like why is it
- 5:58Speaker 2: harder to live the right to life? And it seems
- 6:01Speaker 2: like wicked or healthy, their children have no problems. They prosper,
- 6:06Speaker 2: They have houses there. You know how it is, you
- 6:09Speaker 2: see people at work or in different places, you know
- 6:13Speaker 2: they're crooked, right, you know they're mean and all that stuff.
- 6:19Speaker 2: You know what I'm saying, But it seems like they're
- 6:22Speaker 2: prospering and they have no issues in life. And this
- 6:28Speaker 2: question has been asked all throughout the Bible, and it's interesting.
- 6:33Speaker 2: I do want to say this. It's interesting how God
- 6:37Speaker 2: answers some of these questions, Like for the Book of Job,
- 6:41Speaker 2: for instance, when Job was asking God about his situation
- 6:46Speaker 2: at the end of the book, he just says, where
- 6:49Speaker 2: were you when I created that heavens and earth? Like
- 6:52Speaker 2: where were you when I did this? And where were
- 6:55Speaker 2: you when I did that? You know, it's like God
- 6:57Speaker 2: answers a question with the question because when it comes
- 7:01Speaker 2: down to it, God doesn't have to answer to nobody.
- 7:04Speaker 2: And now, don't get me wrong, God doesn't mind our questions.
- 7:09Speaker 2: As a matter of fact, He wants us to go
- 7:12Speaker 2: to Him with our questions, especially if we have honest questions,
- 7:17Speaker 2: you know what I mean. Some people have dishonest questions
- 7:20Speaker 2: before the Lord, and maybe that's another topic for another podcast.
- 7:24Speaker 2: But if we have an honest question and we're really
- 7:28Speaker 2: seeking the Lord, I believe God doesn't mind those. But
- 7:34Speaker 2: at the same time we have to understand God may
- 7:38Speaker 2: answer in a way that we do not expect, and
- 7:41Speaker 2: that's exactly what he did here in Jeremiah, and I
- 7:48Speaker 2: wanted to take some time to go over there. So
- 7:51Speaker 2: I don't know if we're going to finish all the
- 7:53Speaker 2: verses today because I do want to take time to
- 7:56Speaker 2: take a look into this. And as I mentioned before,
- 8:01Speaker 2: like in the last episode, we kind of stopped right
- 8:05Speaker 2: here because I thought it was good and I believe
- 8:07Speaker 2: that this would be helpful to go over So Jeremiah,
- 8:13Speaker 2: he's like, why do the wicked prosper? You know, Lord,
- 8:17Speaker 2: your God, you're in control. Why do you allow all
- 8:21Speaker 2: of this? Basically to sum it up, so in verse
- 8:25Speaker 2: five is his response, God answers the question of a
- 8:31Speaker 2: servant Jeremiah Versus five. It says, if you have run
- 8:37Speaker 2: with the footmen, they have wearied you, then how can
- 8:44Speaker 2: you contend with horses? Now that seems like a strange
- 8:50Speaker 2: answer to the question. I remember. The question is why
- 8:53Speaker 2: do the wicked prosper? And the Lord is talking about, Okay,
- 8:59Speaker 2: there's you're in the race, and if you can't keep
- 9:01Speaker 2: up with the foot race, how you're going to keep
- 9:06Speaker 2: up with horses? Right? And to us, our brain immediately
- 9:10Speaker 2: will say, well, that's humanly impossible. Then he goes on
- 9:14Speaker 2: to saying, if in the land of peace in which
- 9:19Speaker 2: you trusted, they wearied you, then how will you do
- 9:24Speaker 2: in the footplane of the Jordan? Now what kind of
- 9:30Speaker 2: an answer is that to his question? But the answer
- 9:36Speaker 2: is within the response. So we have to dig a
- 9:40Speaker 2: little deeper, and we really have to look and understand.
- 9:45Speaker 2: And if we can understand this, we can understand most
- 9:50Speaker 2: of the questions that we would have and bring before
- 9:54Speaker 2: the Lord. Right, So let's break it down. If you
- 10:00Speaker 2: run with the footmen and they have wearied you, then
- 10:05Speaker 2: how can you contend with horses? Now the key is
- 10:10Speaker 2: they wearied you? Now the question that we need to
- 10:17Speaker 2: ask ourselves what can weary us? What have you tried
- 10:23Speaker 2: to do in life that has gotten you weary or
- 10:28Speaker 2: basically have warned you out or brought you to the
- 10:32Speaker 2: end of yourself. You thought you could swindle your way,
- 10:36Speaker 2: or you thought that you could just maneuver a few things,
- 10:40Speaker 2: you thought you can manage and handle. And a lot
- 10:43Speaker 2: of these things happen when we go down the path
- 10:47Speaker 2: of sin. Sometimes when we start off, we think we
- 10:51Speaker 2: have control, right, especially when we dab into things like
- 10:56Speaker 2: that are addictive, you know, alcohol, drugs, things like that,
- 11:01Speaker 2: sexual and moral relationships. We think we have control at
- 11:06Speaker 2: the very beginning of it. Then slowly we learn that
- 11:10Speaker 2: these things start taking power over us. My big struggle
- 11:14Speaker 2: is food. You know. I know there's different foods I
- 11:17Speaker 2: need to stop eating and get away from. And then
- 11:20Speaker 2: I'll be like, Okay, well let me just get this
- 11:23Speaker 2: one more time. And then next thing, you know, I
- 11:25Speaker 2: got ten more of those things. You know what I'm saying.
- 11:28Speaker 2: And so we all have an area, right, it's in
- 11:34Speaker 2: all of us matter. As a matter of fact, what
- 11:37Speaker 2: can we really control? See if we learn this principle,
- 11:44Speaker 2: the quicker we learn it, the better off we will be.
- 11:47Speaker 2: You see, all of life brings us to the end
- 11:51Speaker 2: of ourselves. We really can't handle anything. And so the
- 11:56Speaker 2: question is, man, if you ran with the foot footmen,
- 12:00Speaker 2: and you're wearied, then how can you contend with horses? Now,
- 12:05Speaker 2: horses is an upgrade from people running on their feet?
- 12:11Speaker 2: Would you agree? How many of us would say, you
- 12:14Speaker 2: know what, I'm gonna run a foot race against a
- 12:18Speaker 2: group of horses, Like, how far would you get? How
- 12:24Speaker 2: would that race go? You know what I mean? And
- 12:28Speaker 2: as we think of some of the westerns we've watched
- 12:32Speaker 2: growing up, or maybe we've seen a couple of horse races,
- 12:38Speaker 2: and you know, there's some very fast horses out there
- 12:41Speaker 2: that could jump high and far and wide, and there's
- 12:46Speaker 2: some amazing beautiful horses out there. And I don't know
- 12:49Speaker 2: of any human that can outrun or even just keep
- 12:55Speaker 2: up with a horse. So what is the Lord really
- 13:02Speaker 2: trying to show us here? And he says, and if
- 13:08Speaker 2: in the land of peace in which you trusted, they
- 13:12Speaker 2: wearied you. There's a key word again, wearied, then how
- 13:17Speaker 2: will you go in the floodplain of the Jordan? And
- 13:23Speaker 2: we know about the Jordan River. How when the Israelites
- 13:27Speaker 2: first came into the land, they had to cross this
- 13:30Speaker 2: river and supernaturally the waters dried up so that they
- 13:35Speaker 2: can cross. That's in the book of what it was
- 13:42Speaker 2: it Jeremiah. Does Jeremiah have his own book? I'm not
- 13:46Speaker 2: Jeremiah Joshua. We know Joshua did this. You know, I
- 13:52Speaker 2: don't know. My brain is going getting kind of fuzzy
- 13:55Speaker 2: right now. I want to say, I know Genesis Exodus.
- 14:00Speaker 2: Is there a book of Joshua? I know I might
- 14:02Speaker 2: have to look that up. But when Joshua took over
- 14:05Speaker 2: from Moses. We know that it was in the book
- 14:08Speaker 2: of Exodus. I believe you read about Joshua in the
- 14:11Speaker 2: Book of Exodus. There's been a minute since I've been
- 14:14Speaker 2: that far back in the Old Testament, So my brain
- 14:17Speaker 2: is getting a little fuzzy right right now. But anyway,
- 14:21Speaker 2: as they're coming into the Promised Land, the Jordan River
- 14:26Speaker 2: dried up. Now, what is a key ingredient missing in
- 14:38Speaker 2: what we just read? Right? Think about it? What would
- 14:44Speaker 2: make this successful? What would make you successful in a
- 14:50Speaker 2: foot race? What would make you successful running against horsemen?
- 14:59Speaker 2: What wouldn't make make you successful in the plane of Jordan. Now,
- 15:04Speaker 2: the answer is within the question that God posed before Jeremiah.
- 15:13Speaker 2: And I just wanted us to go a little deeper.
- 15:16Speaker 2: I just want us to think a little bit. Think
- 15:19Speaker 2: about that. Paul the Apostle, Paul the Apostle had a
- 15:27Speaker 2: thorn in his flesh, and he went before the Lord
- 15:32Speaker 2: three times, and he asked him to remove the thorn
- 15:37Speaker 2: that is in his flesh. And what was his answer
- 15:44Speaker 2: towards Paul. His answer was, my grace is sufficient for you. See,
- 15:53Speaker 2: the Lord is pointing out our need for him. He
- 15:59Speaker 2: is a king. He is the key factor. We are
- 16:03Speaker 2: quick to get weary in the race of life. We
- 16:06Speaker 2: come to the end of ourselves. We get to a
- 16:09Speaker 2: place where we can't handle it, that our strength is
- 16:12Speaker 2: gonna fade away, our hope. We get discouraged, we get worried,
- 16:16Speaker 2: we get stressed out, We start making rash decisions. We
- 16:21Speaker 2: do a lot of things. In some of us we
- 16:23Speaker 2: do turn to drugs or alcohol, or do we try
- 16:28Speaker 2: to numb the pain, or do we try to escape
- 16:31Speaker 2: the situation. And what he is saying to Jeremiah is
- 16:36Speaker 2: you need me. I am the source of your strength.
- 16:43Speaker 2: My grace is sufficient for you. I am the one
- 16:48Speaker 2: that will help you keep up with the footmen. I
- 16:52Speaker 2: am the one that will help you keep up with
- 16:54Speaker 2: the horses, and not only that surpass the horses. I
- 16:59Speaker 2: am the one that I will keep you in peace.
- 17:01Speaker 2: I am the source of your strength. Amen. And that
- 17:06Speaker 2: is the answer to every question that we have before
- 17:09Speaker 2: the Lord. Think about it. It all comes back to him.
- 17:16Speaker 2: Think about everything you've tried to do on your own.
- 17:20Speaker 2: Who was the answer. It was Jesus the whole time.
- 17:24Speaker 2: If you would have brought your situation to him. And
- 17:26Speaker 2: this is something that I am definitely going to exercise
- 17:33Speaker 2: and get better at is bringing my situations, my circumstances,
- 17:37Speaker 2: bringing my case before the Lord. He wants us to
- 17:41Speaker 2: come to him and to be like, Lord, this is
- 17:44Speaker 2: impossible for me, but it is easy for you. I
- 17:50Speaker 2: give it over to you. I give him my marriage,
- 17:54Speaker 2: my wife, my finances, my future, my ministry, this podcast.
- 18:01Speaker 2: I give it over to the Lord. The Lord is
- 18:04Speaker 2: able to make it successful, and a lot of times
- 18:09Speaker 2: he will allow us to go through these situations to
- 18:12Speaker 2: build our character and to prepare us for something greater.
- 18:17Speaker 2: If you notice, it was always a level up. A
- 18:21Speaker 2: foot race is one thing, but horsemen is an upgrade
- 18:28Speaker 2: from that. So God is always bringing us to a
- 18:33Speaker 2: greater place. But he has to prepare our faith, He
- 18:36Speaker 2: has to prepare our character. He has to prepare us
- 18:40Speaker 2: because doing a race with a horseman is going to
- 18:48Speaker 2: inquire a completely different set of skills. To race a
- 18:53Speaker 2: horse is one thing. To ride a horse, right. I
- 18:57Speaker 2: remember when I was younger with my stepdad and they
- 19:02Speaker 2: you know, he grew up in Arkansas, and he took us,
- 19:06Speaker 2: me and my siblings to the farm he grew up on,
- 19:10Speaker 2: and we had a chance to ride on some ponies.
- 19:15Speaker 2: And I was on this pony. Well I don't know
- 19:17Speaker 2: if it was a pony or a horse or whatever.
- 19:19Speaker 2: I remember he was all white and I wasn't on
- 19:23Speaker 2: the saddle or whatnot, but I wanted to ride it.
- 19:25Speaker 2: So I'm riding on this thing and he just kept
- 19:28Speaker 2: going to the bushes like he just runned me off
- 19:32Speaker 2: on the bushes. Like at least, you know, he didn't
- 19:35Speaker 2: kick me or anything like that. He knew not have
- 19:37Speaker 2: to like really hurt me. But he was like, you know,
- 19:40Speaker 2: I'm just gonna scrape in one of these bushes and
- 19:43Speaker 2: get them off me, you know what I mean. So
- 19:45Speaker 2: that was my first experience of riding a horse. But
- 19:51Speaker 2: imagine racing a horse. How skillful you have to be,
- 19:55Speaker 2: how much you have to know and be trained, and
- 19:59Speaker 2: then you we have to compete against other horses. And
- 20:04Speaker 2: I imagine these horses are strong and fit in their
- 20:07Speaker 2: tip top shape at their peak, and their racing against
- 20:12Speaker 2: each other. And who knows what the Lord has called
- 20:19Speaker 2: us to, especially in this generation, especially in these last days,
- 20:26Speaker 2: we really need to keep our dependents on our God,
- 20:32Speaker 2: on our Lord and Savior. We need to pray, Lord
- 20:34Speaker 2: give me the desire in discipline to pray every day,
- 20:39Speaker 2: to put you first. Give us a desire in the
- 20:42Speaker 2: discipline to stay in your word, to renew our minds.
- 20:46Speaker 2: Give us a desire and discipline to meet up every
- 20:50Speaker 2: day at eleven o'clock on this podcast to give you
- 20:54Speaker 2: a little hope, a little encouragement. A lot of people
- 20:58Speaker 2: take their breaks like around eleven clock and this is
- 21:01Speaker 2: you know, Pacific standard time. People on the East Coast.
- 21:05Speaker 2: I believe they'll get this like around three o'clock in
- 21:07Speaker 2: the afternoon. Hey, why not get some encouragement. Why not
- 21:14Speaker 2: log into the life Chat? Why not? I mean, you
- 21:17Speaker 2: can follow different YouTube podcasts and things like that, and
- 21:24Speaker 2: there's totally nothing wrong with them, and you can get
- 21:28Speaker 2: into their comments and a lot of people, you know,
- 21:32Speaker 2: they can go back and forth with questions and there's
- 21:35Speaker 2: totally nothing wrong with it. But here we're building an
- 21:39Speaker 2: online community where we come together in the live chat,
- 21:45Speaker 2: and then we also do a conference call at the
- 21:49Speaker 2: end of each podcast where we actually interact with each
- 21:55Speaker 2: other and really try to encourage each other and pray
- 22:01Speaker 2: for each other and be there for each other. Right
- 22:04Speaker 2: like the Body of Christ. Shout out to my boy
- 22:06Speaker 2: zone three. Right now, it's just me and my boy's
- 22:09Speaker 2: zone doing it. But I believe that this can really
- 22:14Speaker 2: grow once this catches on, when people realize what we
- 22:19Speaker 2: do here and what is actually being offered. I believe
- 22:23Speaker 2: that a lot of people will begin to call in
- 22:26Speaker 2: and jump in on the life chat. Amen. But once again,
- 22:31Speaker 2: like I said, we have to depend on the grace
- 22:35Speaker 2: of God, and this is basically how this question is formed.
- 22:40Speaker 2: And then, like I said, if you realize the way
- 22:43Speaker 2: God answers a lot of questions in the Bible, like
- 22:47Speaker 2: he told Job, where were you when I created the earth?
- 22:50Speaker 2: He's telling Job that you need to depend on me.
- 22:53Speaker 2: I have the source. I am the strength, right. Amen.
- 23:00Speaker 2: All right, let's go ahead and move on. That's why
- 23:04Speaker 2: I wanted to just really take a little time out
- 23:07Speaker 2: to explain his response to Jeremiah's question verse six. For
- 23:16Speaker 2: even your brothers the house of your father, even they
- 23:22Speaker 2: have dealt treacherously with you. Now, this is heartbreaking. When
- 23:27Speaker 2: you're very brothers. He's saying, the from the house of
- 23:33Speaker 2: your father, these are ken, these are blood brothers, and
- 23:38Speaker 2: they've dealt treacherously with you. That reminds us of the
- 23:41Speaker 2: story of Joseph, how his brothers threw him in the
- 23:46Speaker 2: pit and sold him into slavery. Right, and even Jesus
- 23:52Speaker 2: himself he said that the prophet is not welcome in
- 23:55Speaker 2: his hometown.
- 23:58Speaker 4: Right.
- 24:00Speaker 2: People close to you can be the ones that can
- 24:03Speaker 2: give you the most opposition when you are trying to
- 24:06Speaker 2: fulfill the call of God on your life. And he
- 24:10Speaker 2: points it out. He says, even your brothers dealt treacherously
- 24:15Speaker 2: with you. Yes, they have called a multitude after you.
- 24:19Speaker 2: Do not believe them, even though they speak smooth words.
- 24:24Speaker 2: While even though they might try to flatter you, even
- 24:28Speaker 2: though they might try to cover up their plot and
- 24:31Speaker 2: their plan and their scheme against you, God has given
- 24:34Speaker 2: them discernment and heads up. Do not believe them. And man,
- 24:39Speaker 2: we cannot entrust ourselves to people. I mean we really can't. Now.
- 24:49Speaker 2: Even Jesus himself, in his ministries did not entrust himself
- 24:53Speaker 2: to men because he knew what was in himn It
- 24:58Speaker 2: goes back to how he answered the question. And we
- 25:00Speaker 2: need to put our trust in faith in God. Amen, hallelujah.
- 25:06Speaker 2: Now imagine Jeremiah ministrying and having his own family member
- 25:12Speaker 2: turn against him, but yet he has to forgive them right,
- 25:16Speaker 2: Jesus says that if you don't forgive, you will not
- 25:19Speaker 2: be forgiven. You can literally miss heaven. You can end
- 25:22Speaker 2: up in hell if you don't. If you choose not
- 25:26Speaker 2: to forgive, that's not a light thing. And I'm just
- 25:31Speaker 2: I'm just looking. I'm observing these things his close brothers,
- 25:37Speaker 2: betraying them not betrayal is probably one of the hardest
- 25:41Speaker 2: things to get over because somebody has to be close
- 25:44Speaker 2: to you in order to betraying. Now on enemy ops,
- 25:48Speaker 2: you know what I'm saying. Opposition out there outside is
- 25:52Speaker 2: one thing. You expect it from them, but you don't
- 25:55Speaker 2: expect it from somebody who's close to you. Remember Jesus,
- 26:00Speaker 2: Jesus had a Judas, but Jesus didn't allow Judas to
- 26:05Speaker 2: like discourage him, you know what I mean. Like Jesus
- 26:08Speaker 2: still had joy, he had love, he still forgave, he
- 26:12Speaker 2: went on to fulfill purpose, while Judas ended up in hell.
- 26:18Speaker 2: It's a person who who doesn't betrayal, it's the one
- 26:23Speaker 2: who's going to have the rude awakening. Right, They're the
- 26:28Speaker 2: ones are going to get dealt with. All we have
- 26:33Speaker 2: to do is we got to keep loving that Judas.
- 26:35Speaker 2: We gotta love him even though he kisses us the
- 26:38Speaker 2: Judas kiss. Right, our job is to love them and
- 26:42Speaker 2: to forgive them, and hopefully, if they repent, we've won
- 26:47Speaker 2: a brother or sister. Amen. Verse seven. I have forsaken
- 26:53Speaker 2: my house. I have left my heritage. Now this is
- 26:58Speaker 2: God in his heart is breaking over how he has
- 27:02Speaker 2: to deal with the nation of Israel. I have given
- 27:08Speaker 2: the daily beloved of my soul into the hand of
- 27:13Speaker 2: her enemies. Now this speaks of like a husband divorcing
- 27:19Speaker 2: a wife, right, the woman that he loved. Now this
- 27:23Speaker 2: is God's attitude. We are the apple of his eye.
- 27:28Speaker 2: We are He is so in love with us, He
- 27:32Speaker 2: loves us so much. Right, and let this not be us.
- 27:37Speaker 2: Let not God lament over us, saying that he had
- 27:41Speaker 2: to give us over right, my heritage is to me
- 27:47Speaker 2: like a lion in the forest. It cries out against me.
- 27:52Speaker 2: Therefore I have hated it. Wow. Now it's almost like
- 27:58Speaker 2: a contradiction. Right, he says I love you one second,
- 28:02Speaker 2: but he says he hates it the next. He hates
- 28:05Speaker 2: the behavior. He wants good fruit out of our lives. Right,
- 28:11Speaker 2: he wants good fruit. He hates sin. You know, I've
- 28:16Speaker 2: heard it said that God loves the sin, loves the sinner,
- 28:20Speaker 2: but he hates the sin. And I agree with that
- 28:24Speaker 2: God loves us, that God will always hate sin. God
- 28:28Speaker 2: is a holy God and a just God. That's why,
- 28:31Speaker 2: to me is dangerous to preach one saved, always saved,
- 28:35Speaker 2: because where is the holiness? Where is the need the
- 28:39Speaker 2: outcry to live a life of holiness insanctified sanctification, separate
- 28:45Speaker 2: ourselves from the world. And why does Paul go through
- 28:48Speaker 2: all the trouble with the epistles to tell us to
- 28:51Speaker 2: live right, to live righteous, to seek God, to seek
- 28:55Speaker 2: his face. Why would we need to even seek him
- 28:57Speaker 2: if we're good right once you get you saying prayer
- 29:02Speaker 2: and you're good like no, this thing is a daily maintenance.
- 29:10Speaker 2: We cannot take our salvation for granted. It is a relationship.
- 29:16Speaker 2: So remember God will always hate sin. And when we
- 29:21Speaker 2: find ourselves fall and tenemptation, we need to repent like
- 29:26Speaker 2: right away. Number nine, My heritage is to me like
- 29:31Speaker 2: a speckled vulture. The vultures all around are against her.
- 29:38Speaker 2: Come assemble all the beasts of the field, bring them
- 29:42Speaker 2: to devour. God doesn't play, beloved, God doesn't play. He's
- 29:49Speaker 2: bringing the beat think of the lions and the tigers
- 29:52Speaker 2: and the bears. Oh my, all right, we know that's
- 29:57Speaker 2: the Wizard of Oz, But I mean, think of all
- 29:59Speaker 2: the pre that the man eaters out there, that can
- 30:04Speaker 2: just devour a city. This is what they had to face,
- 30:09Speaker 2: and this is what God is calling for. Verse ten.
- 30:15Speaker 2: Many rulers have destroyed my vineyard. They have tried my
- 30:21Speaker 2: portion underfoot. They have made my pleasant portion a desolate wilderness.
- 30:31Speaker 2: Now I just think these are the things that belong
- 30:35Speaker 2: to the Lord. These are his portion, his garden. How
- 30:38Speaker 2: would you like it if you worked hard in your
- 30:41Speaker 2: backyard and you planted a garden and it's growing, and
- 30:46Speaker 2: you're reaping the benefits, you enjoy it. You just want
- 30:49Speaker 2: to go and enjoy your garden and just smell the sweetness.
- 30:53Speaker 2: And your neighbor comes in and just steps on in
- 30:56Speaker 2: and ruins it and steals all your fruit and vesheables,
- 31:00Speaker 2: and it's like they just destroyed your stuff. This is
- 31:04Speaker 2: how the Lord is looking at the nation of Israel.
- 31:07Speaker 2: It's like my pleasant portion is desolate. They have made
- 31:13Speaker 2: it desolate. Verse eleven. Desolate and more in desolate. It
- 31:18Speaker 2: mourns to me. The whole land is made desolate because
- 31:24Speaker 2: no one takes it to heart. Now, let's park it
- 31:29Speaker 2: right there. No one takes it to heart. No one
- 31:36Speaker 2: is really considering it. No one is really observing this right,
- 31:43Speaker 2: No one is really going over scripture, really digging into
- 31:48Speaker 2: the Word of God, and then looking at the conditions
- 31:53Speaker 2: of the nation. We can apply this to the United
- 31:57Speaker 2: States of America. Who who is really taking these things
- 32:01Speaker 2: to heart? The fact that our nation has turned so
- 32:07Speaker 2: far away from the Lord who is taking it to
- 32:11Speaker 2: heart that we are breaking his commandments. We need to
- 32:17Speaker 2: learn and know his commandments in order to know whether
- 32:22Speaker 2: or not we are breaking them. Just like if you're
- 32:26Speaker 2: at work, every workplace has policies, and it's up to
- 32:30Speaker 2: us as employees to be familiar with the policies of
- 32:36Speaker 2: the organization. And if we break the policies, they have
- 32:41Speaker 2: every right to fire us. They have every right to
- 32:46Speaker 2: get rid of us, especially if we are ignorant and
- 32:50Speaker 2: don't take the time out to learn. This is how
- 32:54Speaker 2: we are supposed to behave ourselves as we are employed
- 32:59Speaker 2: where we are in their employment. If we want to
- 33:02Speaker 2: have a successful employment, a successful career, we need to
- 33:07Speaker 2: learn and understand the policies. Now, as far as God
- 33:14Speaker 2: and how God is seen in this place. He has
- 33:17Speaker 2: his commandments, he has his words, and he has his
- 33:21Speaker 2: policies on how we are to function in the Kingdom
- 33:26Speaker 2: of Heaven. Amen. He has the same things, and these
- 33:31Speaker 2: things are known by keeping his commandments. And so the
- 33:35Speaker 2: nation of Israel, they broke the laws of God, and
- 33:41Speaker 2: so they were taken out of the land. Amen. It says,
- 33:49Speaker 2: because no one took it to heart. We really need
- 33:52Speaker 2: to take it to heart. We need to take God's
- 33:56Speaker 2: word to heart, his commandments to heart, and God desires
- 34:01Speaker 2: to deal with us. We need to take it all
- 34:04Speaker 2: to heart. Amen. And also plunders, the plunderers have come,
- 34:18Speaker 2: and all the desolate heights in the wilderness. For the
- 34:22Speaker 2: sword of the Lord shall devour from one end of
- 34:27Speaker 2: the land to the other end of the land. No
- 34:30Speaker 2: flesh shall have peace. This is a prophecy and a
- 34:37Speaker 2: very disturbing one, because no one is going to get
- 34:43Speaker 2: away with this. No one says the sword of the
- 34:47Speaker 2: Lord will devour. So it shows you right here that
- 34:51Speaker 2: God is sending this army to invade the nation. And
- 34:56Speaker 2: verse thirteen, it says, and they have soon eat but
- 35:02Speaker 2: reaped thorns, they'll put themselves in pain, but do not profit,
- 35:11Speaker 2: but be ashamed of your harvest because of the fierce
- 35:16Speaker 2: anger of the Lord. Now it shows that they're still
- 35:23Speaker 2: trying to sow in their garden. They're still trying to prosper.
- 35:27Speaker 2: You could connect this to the economics of the land
- 35:33Speaker 2: where they're going to work, or they're trying to make
- 35:37Speaker 2: a profit and make some moves in business, but God's
- 35:42Speaker 2: judgment is against them. They says, they put themselves to pain,
- 35:47Speaker 2: but they do not profit. And this could be another
- 35:53Speaker 2: area where we need to examine our lives or if
- 35:57Speaker 2: whether or not where pain or ties, or we're given
- 36:00Speaker 2: and offering, or there's financial situations in our lives. Sometimes
- 36:05Speaker 2: we need to break bring those before the Lord and
- 36:09Speaker 2: ask the Lord, okay, is this something? Are you trying
- 36:13Speaker 2: to get my attention? Are you trying to teach me something?
- 36:15Speaker 2: Here a man and it says it's because of his
- 36:19Speaker 2: fierce anger. The Lord has an anger, right, and we
- 36:26Speaker 2: do not want to provoke him to wrath. The Bible
- 36:28Speaker 2: says do not grieve the Holy Spirit. So we have
- 36:32Speaker 2: to really understand that this is a relationship here, this
- 36:36Speaker 2: is a marriage right, this is a covenant that we
- 36:41Speaker 2: have with our heavenly Father. Verse fourteen. Thus says the
- 36:45Speaker 2: Lord against all my evil neighbors who touched the inhabitants
- 36:51Speaker 2: which I have caused my people Israel to inherit. Behold,
- 36:56Speaker 2: now he's addressing the nations around Israel. Right, He's gonna
- 37:03Speaker 2: deal with them as well. And he says, I will
- 37:06Speaker 2: pluck them out of their land and pluck out the
- 37:11Speaker 2: House of Judah from amongst them. Now, why is God
- 37:15Speaker 2: taking this up? Why is he addressing the nations around
- 37:20Speaker 2: Jerusalem and he's taking it. He's saying that I'm gonna
- 37:23Speaker 2: pluck them out of their land and out of the
- 37:25Speaker 2: House of Judah. Now hold that question for a second.
- 37:30Speaker 2: Verse fifteen. Then it shall be after I have plucked
- 37:34Speaker 2: them out, that I will return and have compassion on
- 37:40Speaker 2: them and bring them back everyone to his heritage and
- 37:47Speaker 2: everyone to his land. Now we take a turn. Right
- 37:52Speaker 2: here we see the fierce anger of the Lord. But
- 37:58Speaker 2: now the Lord decides to show mercy. He decides to
- 38:04Speaker 2: show compassion, and that should be a lesson for us
- 38:09Speaker 2: as well. Let's apply it right. The application to that.
- 38:12Speaker 2: We could be angry, we could be upset. It could
- 38:16Speaker 2: be our children, our spouses people who have disrespected us
- 38:21Speaker 2: and done us wrong. That, yeah, they could, you know,
- 38:26Speaker 2: be punished for it. We could deal with them, correct
- 38:30Speaker 2: them in a certain way. But then we cannot neglect
- 38:35Speaker 2: to show them compassion afterwards. There always should be a
- 38:40Speaker 2: road back. There always should be a path to restoration.
- 38:45Speaker 2: And this is the heart and the character of God.
- 38:47Speaker 2: He decides to show compassion, and he said he's going
- 38:51Speaker 2: to bring them back to their land. Now, if you remember,
- 38:55Speaker 2: earlier in this chapter, he was saying that he was
- 38:58Speaker 2: going to bring wild animals to devour them. Right, he
- 39:02Speaker 2: was gonna fling them out of the land. This is
- 39:04Speaker 2: how upset he was with this nation. But now after
- 39:11Speaker 2: his anger has been satisfied, he's bringing them back into
- 39:15Speaker 2: the land. And we saw this back in what I
- 39:18Speaker 2: believe it was nineteen forty eight when Israel became a
- 39:21Speaker 2: nation again. So God will keep his promises verse sixteen.
- 39:26Speaker 2: And it shall be if they will learn carefully the
- 39:30Speaker 2: ways of my people to swear by my name as
- 39:37Speaker 2: the Lord lives, as they taught my people to swear
- 39:42Speaker 2: by ball, then they shall be established in the midst
- 39:48Speaker 2: of my people. But if they do not obey, I
- 39:54Speaker 2: will utterly pluck them up and destroy that nation, says
- 39:58Speaker 2: the Lord. Now that's really let's take another look at this,
- 40:03Speaker 2: a deeper look at what he's saying here. Now he's
- 40:08Speaker 2: dealing with the nation of Israel. He's going to bring
- 40:11Speaker 2: them back to their land. But now he's dealing with
- 40:14Speaker 2: the nations around Israel. We call them heathen nations in
- 40:20Speaker 2: the Bible, right, the Jews call them gentiles, and you
- 40:24Speaker 2: can say that it's us right. We are gentiles according
- 40:29Speaker 2: to the flesh, but spiritually we are Israel. And he's
- 40:33Speaker 2: telling us in verse sixteen that if we are careful
- 40:38Speaker 2: to learn his ways and swear by his name, as
- 40:43Speaker 2: the Lord lives right, as they were diligent to swear
- 40:48Speaker 2: by Baal, which was a false god. They were diligent,
- 40:52Speaker 2: they were disciplined to worship this false god. But he
- 40:55Speaker 2: is saying, if they denounced him and they worshiped me
- 40:59Speaker 2: with this energy, the same intensity, he said that He
- 41:04Speaker 2: will establish them in the midst of my people right,
- 41:10Speaker 2: and so our prayers should be Lord, teach us your ways.
- 41:15Speaker 2: And I believe that it is manifested in their church
- 41:17Speaker 2: today because the Church is made up of different nations
- 41:24Speaker 2: from all over the world. The Church is made up
- 41:27Speaker 2: of jew and gentile. It doesn't matter naturally what nation
- 41:32Speaker 2: you are from. As long as you learn the ways
- 41:36Speaker 2: of the Lord, you will be established. This is a
- 41:38Speaker 2: promise and a principle. This should keep us encouraged. Right.
- 41:44Speaker 2: The Lord says that no one took this to heart.
- 41:49Speaker 2: This is why Judah failed, This is why they were
- 41:52Speaker 2: judged by other nations. If we take this to heart,
- 41:56Speaker 2: and if we cry out to the Lord teach us
- 41:58Speaker 2: your ways, and if we're diligent to study the word
- 42:02Speaker 2: of God, to renew our minds and to put this
- 42:05Speaker 2: into practice, we will be established. And we could turn
- 42:10Speaker 2: things around in this nation. We could turn things around
- 42:14Speaker 2: in our lives, in our marriages, in our homes, and
- 42:18Speaker 2: in our families. Only if we take this to heart. Amen,
- 42:24Speaker 2: all right, it's time for a break.
- 42:28Speaker 3: You are listening to the light of Las Vegas. This
- 42:32Speaker 3: is the hiss hop radio show.

- 46:42Speaker 2: could be rough, it could be tough out here out here,
- 46:45Speaker 2: we're not even Yesterday Pastor preached on that that we
- 46:49Speaker 2: are supposed to be a community and there's no long
- 46:53Speaker 2: rangers right in the Kingdom, and that we need each
- 46:56Speaker 2: other to pray with each other, to confess our false
- 46:59Speaker 2: to win another and just to feel like we belong,
- 47:03Speaker 2: you know, And so hopefully you're getting it from your
- 47:06Speaker 2: home church. But we do have a segment here where
- 47:09Speaker 2: we meet in a life chat, we pray with each other,
- 47:11Speaker 2: we encourage each other, and we give out daily challenges. Now,
- 47:15Speaker 2: you can go to the hiss Hot Radio app, go
- 47:17Speaker 2: to the top left menu, hit the drop down, click
- 47:21Speaker 2: on podcasts, and then find the hiss Hot Radio podcast
- 47:25Speaker 2: Yours Truly, and then find the link that says Accountability Partner,
- 47:30Speaker 2: because you can go through the questions and the only
- 47:33Speaker 2: way it works is if we have integrity, right, because
- 47:36Speaker 2: the only person that we're really lying to is ourselves.
- 47:39Speaker 2: If we don't look at the word of God with honesty,
- 47:42Speaker 2: with integrity, allow the word of God to confront us.
- 47:46Speaker 2: And then at the end of that you can request
- 47:48Speaker 2: a follow up in either myself or someone from our
- 47:52Speaker 2: team will follow up with you if you need prayer,
- 47:55Speaker 2: if you need encouragement. That's what we are about here
- 47:59Speaker 2: on this podcast. We want to encourage you because we
- 48:03Speaker 2: know that the narrow path, it can be a difficult
- 48:06Speaker 2: path to walk on, but we want us to stay
- 48:09Speaker 2: on that path because this is the path to life.
- 48:12Speaker 2: And also we give daily challenges in the life chat,
- 48:16Speaker 2: and so today we want you to identify one difficult
- 48:21Speaker 2: area that in your life that you've been complaining about.
- 48:27Speaker 2: Right now, instead of complaining, pray over it every day
- 48:33Speaker 2: this week. That's your challenge. What's been difficult in your life?
- 48:38Speaker 2: What has it been difficult at work? Has there been
- 48:42Speaker 2: difficulties in your marriage and your finances? Pray about it.
- 48:47Speaker 2: Bring these difficulties before the Lord and ask God, what
- 48:52Speaker 2: are you teaching me through these lessons? God can be
- 48:56Speaker 2: teaching us something. We know that ultimately God is in control.
- 49:00Speaker 2: You know that God loves us and he's righteous and
- 49:03Speaker 2: all that he does, so there could be something in
- 49:06Speaker 2: us that he's teaching us. They share what you've learned
- 49:10Speaker 2: with your accountability partner. Right. Growth happens when we stay accountable,
- 49:17Speaker 2: when we connect with one another. And so hopefully you
- 49:21Speaker 2: have a person in your life that you can trust,
- 49:23Speaker 2: someone who's not gonna gossip about your business, someone now
- 49:27Speaker 2: you can call and they're gonna call you back, and
- 49:30Speaker 2: somebody that's just there for you. Right, That's what we're
- 49:35Speaker 2: you know we really need in our lives is we
- 49:37Speaker 2: need that community and so that's what the accountability is
- 49:41Speaker 2: all about. Now, for our next segment, we just want
- 49:49Speaker 2: to give you an update on and just let you
- 49:52Speaker 2: know that his High Radio is a monitored and a
- 49:54Speaker 2: reporting radio station. We don't just play music over the internet.
- 49:59Speaker 2: We do have three different charts that we report to.
- 50:03Speaker 2: The app itself is a chart that means once your
- 50:07Speaker 2: favorite song plays, just click that thumbs up button and
- 50:12Speaker 2: you can become number one on his High Radio app. Now,
- 50:16Speaker 2: if you want to submit your music, go to our
- 50:18Speaker 2: website hisshib nation dot com and hit the submissions tab.

- 50:27Speaker 2: Very affordable or not trying to break your bank or
- 50:30Speaker 2: anything like that, but you can advertise within our network.
- 50:33Speaker 2: Get your music out there, get that exposure you're looking for,
- 50:37Speaker 2: and we're here to come alongside y'all. All right, it's
- 50:46Speaker 2: time for the trivia question. Now, shout out once again
- 50:53Speaker 2: to our brother's own three because he's been the trivia
- 50:56Speaker 2: champ for weeks now. Now, if he becomes a trivia
- 51:03Speaker 2: champion this whole entire year, then we gotta like take
- 51:08Speaker 2: you out for a steak dinner or we got to
- 51:11Speaker 2: give you a prize because you're always answering the questions.
- 51:16Speaker 2: So get your fingers ready, head on over to the
- 51:19Speaker 2: Life Chat and get ready and so We do have
- 51:24Speaker 2: some challengers who pop up from time to time, but
- 51:27Speaker 2: you know what, I think they're scared of you or something,
- 51:29Speaker 2: because they just disappear. They kind of like fade away,
- 51:33Speaker 2: and Zone three it becomes the champ once again, my brother,
- 51:37Speaker 2: So we appreciate you for hanging in there. So the
- 51:41Speaker 2: question today is, according to today's passage, what did God
- 51:48Speaker 2: ask Jeremiah after saying he had become weary running with
- 51:54Speaker 2: the men. Let me repeat that again. According to today's
- 51:59Speaker 2: past message, what did God ask Jeremiah after saying he
- 52:04Speaker 2: had become weary running with the men? Amen? So what
- 52:11Speaker 2: was basically guy's answer? How did he respawn to the
- 52:16Speaker 2: question in the first one?
- 52:22Speaker 6: The answer is how can you compete with horses?
- 52:27Speaker 2: And now boom, I take.
- 52:30Speaker 6: Over the trivia challenge? Thank you very much, shout out
- 52:35Speaker 6: to his own but you know what the business is
- 52:38Speaker 6: and missus top is on.
- 52:42Speaker 2: Oh bro, my bad man. She just kind of broke
- 52:44Speaker 2: into the podcast man. But yes, that is a correct answer.
- 52:50Speaker 2: How can you compete with those horses if you can't
- 52:53Speaker 2: keep up with the footman? So, uh, I'm sorry about that,
- 52:58Speaker 2: my brother's zone. Maybe you can get it on tomorrow's
- 53:01Speaker 2: episode because we know you stay consistent.
- 53:06Speaker 5: So I'm getting.
- 53:10Speaker 2: Oh, she was trying to get that steak dinner brother, Okay,
- 53:13Speaker 2: we have to we have to figure something out on that.
- 53:18Speaker 2: Oh okay, appreciate that. All right, So you heard the
- 53:22Speaker 2: question and you heard the trivia takeover from missus his
- 53:26Speaker 2: hop she got the answer for so all right, time
- 53:31Speaker 2: for the next question. I mean in the next segment. See,
- 53:35Speaker 2: I'm all flabbergas in here. We want to give a
- 53:39Speaker 2: community shout out and this is where we give updates
- 53:43Speaker 2: on our activities as an organizations, our events, upcoming events,
- 53:48Speaker 2: things like that, are partners what they're doing, and things
- 53:52Speaker 2: that are coming up on the calendar. If you go
- 53:55Speaker 2: to our website hits our nation dot com, you will
- 53:58Speaker 2: see our calendar. We like to keep our events updated there.
- 54:02Speaker 2: And you know, I'm just still white riding away from
- 54:07Speaker 2: the juvenile detention center. We did get our brother, Damien Dunne,
- 54:12Speaker 2: the chaplain for the Houston Rockets, on the podcast. So
- 54:16Speaker 2: if you look up our YouTube, look us up on YouTube,
- 54:20Speaker 2: you can see that in the next chaplain coming up
- 54:23Speaker 2: as Larry. And to be honest, I forget what team
- 54:28Speaker 2: he's with, but he's gonna let me know. We're scheduled
- 54:32Speaker 2: to do that actually this Friday, So check out our
- 54:35Speaker 2: YouTube channel and get connected with us there and you
- 54:40Speaker 2: will be able to see live We go live on
- 54:43Speaker 2: our YouTube as well as other platforms. But we're trying
- 54:47Speaker 2: to build up our YouTube audience. So look up his
- 54:49Speaker 2: Hot Nation on YouTube or just go to our website
- 54:52Speaker 2: his hot Nation dot com and you'll see. Now, I
- 54:55Speaker 2: believe it's amazing that we hear a lot about these
- 54:59Speaker 2: ap athletes, and sometimes we hear a lot of negative
- 55:03Speaker 2: things in the news. You know, these athletes shooting up
- 55:06Speaker 2: clubs and stuff like that, but you never really hear
- 55:10Speaker 2: about the chaplains behind the scenes who are ministering to
- 55:14Speaker 2: these pro players. Right, you don't hear about the pro
- 55:17Speaker 2: players who go to Bible study, or who go and
- 55:21Speaker 2: get prayer, or who go and get godly counsel. You know,
- 55:25Speaker 2: that's very rare. So I'm excited that the chaplains have
- 55:29Speaker 2: agreed to come on to his Hot Radio onto our
- 55:32Speaker 2: platform and share their experiences and things like that. So
- 55:36Speaker 2: if you love sports, specifically the NBA, or if you
- 55:41Speaker 2: know somebody in your family who loves following sports, invite
- 55:45Speaker 2: them to subscribe to our YouTube channel so they can
- 55:50Speaker 2: hear the stories from these amazing chaplains who've agreed to
- 55:56Speaker 2: come onto the podcast. And also August twenty ninth will
- 56:00Speaker 2: be at the Resort World. I will be DJing on
- 56:03Speaker 2: the ones and twos. It is open to the public.
- 56:06Speaker 2: It is a business mixer. We'll have our three sixty
- 56:09Speaker 2: booth there as well, and we'll have our daughter will
- 56:15Speaker 2: have some art to display during that event. We're trying
- 56:18Speaker 2: to get everything together and there be other businesses there.
- 56:22Speaker 2: The Mayor's supposed to show up. Supposed to be a
- 56:24Speaker 2: huge event, a huge community event. So if you are
- 56:28Speaker 2: in business or thinking about getting in business, one important
- 56:31Speaker 2: thing is to have a network, right Why don't you
- 56:34Speaker 2: connect with other people who are like minded, who have resources,
- 56:38Speaker 2: who could possibly share or help share information to help
- 56:42Speaker 2: you establish your business. And I believe in today's economy
- 56:46Speaker 2: the way to wealth is ownership. It's nice to be
- 56:50Speaker 2: able to work. I've been working with an organization for years,
- 56:53Speaker 2: but my heart, my two heart, is for ownership. And
- 56:57Speaker 2: this can you know, possible help you get to that
- 57:01Speaker 2: next level? Just something to consider, you know, I'm tired
- 57:05Speaker 2: of asking people when I can take a vacation, or
- 57:07Speaker 2: if somebody just wants to take money away from me
- 57:11Speaker 2: and deny me, you know, over time or something. You know,
- 57:16Speaker 2: that's what happens when you work for an organization. But
- 57:20Speaker 2: when you own it right, you don't have to deal
- 57:23Speaker 2: with those things. So coming out Resort World August twenty ninth,
- 57:27Speaker 2: it's going to be an all day event. You can
- 57:30Speaker 2: get more info on our website his hot nation dot com. Also,
- 57:40Speaker 2: we just want to let you know that his Hot
- 57:43Speaker 2: Nation is a nonprofit organization. We opened up a Christian
- 57:47Speaker 2: club back in twenty twelve, and our heart and desire
- 57:51Speaker 2: is a relaunch. We open the club. We need a
- 57:54Speaker 2: new headquarters. We have youth programs that we want to
- 57:58Speaker 2: get off the ground. We have concerts and events we
- 58:02Speaker 2: want to offer to the community once again, and we
- 58:07Speaker 2: need your support as a community, as a body. We
- 58:11Speaker 2: were looking for monthly donors and supporters and sponsors and volunteers.
- 58:17Speaker 2: Two dollars a month will help, five dollars a month.
- 58:21Speaker 2: Anything that the Lord puts on your heart to do
- 58:24Speaker 2: is all good ground. And the great thing about it
- 58:28Speaker 2: is that it's all a tax right off. If you're
- 58:31Speaker 2: looking for something to write off on your taxes and
- 58:36Speaker 2: you want to sew into good ground, check out his
- 58:39Speaker 2: hot Nation and our nonprofit website is his hotnation dot org.
- 58:45Speaker 2: Check out our nonprofit website so you can get more
- 58:48Speaker 2: information on that. With that, beloved, this is my time.
- 58:57Speaker 2: It's time for me to wrap up today's episode. We
- 59:00Speaker 2: appreciate everyone who took time out to kick it with us.
- 59:04Speaker 2: We ask it you like subscribe, share, let somebody know,
- 59:10Speaker 2: tell them to come meet us every day at eleven
- 59:12Speaker 2: o'clock Monday through Saturday at Pacific Standard time eleven am.
- 59:19Speaker 2: And I believe that they'll get encouraged and that they'll
- 59:22Speaker 2: get a lot of value out of it. But I
- 59:25Speaker 2: do have some closing comments as we close it out,
- 59:28Speaker 2: and then we will pray out together. Now as we
- 59:35Speaker 2: close today's study Jeremiah chapter twelve one through seventeen. Now
- 59:39Speaker 2: remember this life isn't always easy, and following Christ doesn't
- 59:45Speaker 2: exempt us from hardship or problems or situations. In fact,
- 59:50Speaker 2: sometimes it very challenges. We face our evidence that God
- 59:55Speaker 2: is preparing us for something greater. Man, I'm preaching to
- 59:59Speaker 2: myself right now now I've been going through the fire
- 1:00:02Speaker 2: and my wife has actually been my encouragement and my
- 1:00:05Speaker 2: accountability partner. When I want to stress out or try
- 1:00:10Speaker 2: to figure things out and things are just overwhelming, my
- 1:00:14Speaker 2: wife has been my anchor. She's like, look, God is
- 1:00:18Speaker 2: in control. That is your old master. You're under a
- 1:00:21Speaker 2: new master, which is the Prince of Peace. So come on,
- 1:00:25Speaker 2: get it together. So, yes, we're all going to go
- 1:00:29Speaker 2: through it right now. Jeremiah's questioned to God. He questioned
- 1:00:33Speaker 2: them because life didn't seem fair, right, and it didn't
- 1:00:36Speaker 2: seem fair that the wicked could prosper right. But instead
- 1:00:40Speaker 2: of giving him the answer that he wanted, he gave
- 1:00:43Speaker 2: him the perspective that he needed. And that perspective is
- 1:00:49Speaker 2: is that my grace is sufficient for you. Amen. So
- 1:00:54Speaker 2: if you're running with people and you're already exhausted, don't
- 1:00:59Speaker 2: lose heart. Art. God isn't finished with you. As matter
- 1:01:04Speaker 2: of fact, he's strengthening your faith so that one day
- 1:01:09Speaker 2: you would be able to run with the horses. That's
- 1:01:11Speaker 2: how he answered Jeremiah. That's encouraging, right, I can't wait
- 1:01:16Speaker 2: to run with the horses now. Don't allow disappointment to
- 1:01:20Speaker 2: become discouragement in our hearts, right, don't allow betrayal to
- 1:01:25Speaker 2: steal your purpose. Don't allow today's struggle to make you
- 1:01:30Speaker 2: forget about tomorrow's promise. That's what the enemy is trying
- 1:01:34Speaker 2: to do. He's trying to bring distraction into our lives
- 1:01:38Speaker 2: so that we can miss the ball when God throws
- 1:01:41Speaker 2: it to us. Right, and also, God's discipline is always
- 1:01:46Speaker 2: motivated by his love. He had to discipline his people,
- 1:01:51Speaker 2: but remember he did not forget to show mercy. His
- 1:01:56Speaker 2: mercy is always available to those who turn back. See,
- 1:02:01Speaker 2: we don't even have to be judged if we judge ourselves,
- 1:02:04Speaker 2: the Bible says, right, So we keep running your race,
- 1:02:09Speaker 2: stay faithful when no one else is watching us. Trust
- 1:02:13Speaker 2: God's timing even when you don't understand his methods. The
- 1:02:18Speaker 2: same God who called Jeremiah is the same God who
- 1:02:21Speaker 2: walks with us today. So we appreciate y'all. Let's go
- 1:02:25Speaker 2: ahead and close in prayer. Emily, Father, we just ask
- 1:02:30Speaker 2: Lord that you will give us a strength to keep
- 1:02:34Speaker 2: up with the horses, Oh God, we ask Father, God,
- 1:02:36Speaker 2: Oh Lord, in the midst of the fire, in the
- 1:02:39Speaker 2: midst of our situation. If we have strayed away from you,
- 1:02:43Speaker 2: Oh Lord, we return to you, Oh God. We know
- 1:02:45Speaker 2: that you're merciful. We know that you are loving, Oh God.
- 1:02:50Speaker 2: We ask Father God, Oh Lord, that you will have
- 1:02:52Speaker 2: your way Lord, and help us, Oh God, to put
- 1:02:56Speaker 2: our hearts into it, Lord, to really consider it and
- 1:02:58Speaker 2: take it to heart. Lord, Oh God, And to teach
- 1:03:02Speaker 2: us your ways. Oh Lord. You said to even the
- 1:03:05Speaker 2: Heathen nations around Israel, if they learn to call upon you,
- 1:03:10Speaker 2: Oh God, if they learned to be diligent and learn
- 1:03:13Speaker 2: your ways, they will be established. Oh God. The promises
- 1:03:16Speaker 2: for all of us. Lord, and we thank you Lord.
- 1:03:19Speaker 2: And if we ask God that you'll establish the families
- 1:03:22Speaker 2: that are represented those who tune into this podcast, establish
- 1:03:26Speaker 2: us as we learn your ways and walk in them.
- 1:03:30Speaker 2: We asked this in Jesus' name. Amen, and remember it's
- 1:03:33Speaker 2: not about us, It's all about the Christ in us.
- 1:03:36Speaker 2: See y'all.
- 1:03:36Speaker 3: In the next episode, you are listening to the Light
- 1:03:51Speaker 3: of Las Vegas. This is the Hiss Hop radio show.
