- 0:05Speaker 1: This is America with Rich Valdez, powered by politiweek.com.
- 0:10Speaker 2: And Rich Valdez is with us, former Christie administration official.
- 0:13Speaker 3: You work for Chris Christie, you've been in politics, a
- 0:15Speaker 3: lot of public service stuff.
- 0:16Speaker 4: Rich Valdez, columnist now with the Washington Times.
- 0:18Speaker 5: This is America.
- 0:20Speaker 3: Richie V, you're on the air with The Nation.
- 0:23Speaker 5: This is America with your host, Rich Valdez.
- 0:26Speaker 6: What's up, America? I am Rich Valdez. Valdez with an
- 0:29Speaker 6: S at Rich Valdez on all of the social media.
- 0:32Speaker 6: Welcome to the Monday night edition of the program. Happy
- 0:35Speaker 6: to be here with you, your liberty-loving Latino amigo, 17
- 0:39Speaker 6: blocks away from Madison Square Garden here in New York City,
- 0:41Speaker 6: Times Square. It's a blessing to be with you. Give
- 0:44Speaker 6: me a call, 877-VALDEZ-1. And I want to jump into
- 0:49Speaker 6: it because this is all we've got. One day left
- 0:52Speaker 6: until Election Day. tomorrow's election day, all across this wonderful land,
- 0:57Speaker 6: and it's a time for us to choose. What will
- 1:01Speaker 6: we decide? Will we go with good? Will we go
- 1:03Speaker 6: with evil? Is it even fair for me to position
- 1:05Speaker 6: this as good versus evil? These are questions that you've
- 1:08Speaker 6: got to ask yourself, and you've only got a little
- 1:10Speaker 6: while to do it.
- 1:11Speaker 3: Now, why would I say that, right?
- 1:13Speaker 6: Why would I say that you have one political party
- 1:15Speaker 6: that embraces, in my opinion, chaos, illegality, and so many
- 1:22Speaker 6: other things, And another one that is saying, look, we're
- 1:24Speaker 6: trying to uphold law and order, but yet they're demonized
- 1:27Speaker 6: for being racist and xenophobes, this, that, and the third, right?
- 1:31Speaker 6: Having Gestapo is what they say. So one side is Gestapo.
- 1:36Speaker 6: The other side is lawlessness. And most people fall right
- 1:41Speaker 6: in the middle. They don't care about red. They don't
- 1:43Speaker 6: care about blue. They don't care about the candidates. They
- 1:45Speaker 6: don't care about any of this stuff. They care about
- 1:47Speaker 6: going to work, making money, going on vacation, taking care
- 1:51Speaker 6: of their kids. And all I can say is if
- 1:54Speaker 6: you want to continue doing that, you've got to vote.
- 1:57Speaker 7: Why?
- 1:57Speaker 6: Because no, there's not a politician that's going to unilaterally
- 2:00Speaker 6: take away your right to go on vacation. But yes,
- 2:03Speaker 6: these policies will hurt your pocket. I know it's difficult
- 2:07Speaker 6: because you might have a TikTok account. You might have
- 2:10Speaker 6: an Instagram account. You might have a television or a
- 2:12Speaker 6: radio in your car. And you've probably heard over the last,
- 2:16Speaker 6: you know, nearly two years how bad Donald Trump is.
- 2:20Speaker 6: And you've probably heard so much of that. That you
- 2:23Speaker 6: may have forgotten how bad life really was during the
- 2:27Speaker 6: Biden years. Maybe you forgot about those $ 5 gas prices.
- 2:32Speaker 6: Maybe you forgot about how high inflation was. Maybe you
- 2:36Speaker 6: forgot that there was no eggs for a long time.
- 2:39Speaker 6: Or that they were $ 6. Maybe you forgot. So I'm
- 2:44Speaker 6: here to remind you. I'm here to remind you that
- 2:46Speaker 6: you can't always believe the hype. You can't always go
- 2:49Speaker 6: with what you're hearing over and over and over again.
- 2:53Speaker 6: Especially for me. Putting yourself in my shoes. I'm Hispanic.
- 2:56Speaker 6: My parents are from Puerto Rico. I was born in Brooklyn,
- 2:59Speaker 6: New York. I live in Jersey now.
- 3:01Speaker 3: And guess what?
- 3:03Speaker 6: People want to remind me all the time that because
- 3:07Speaker 6: we are Hispanic, that we must not forget how Trump
- 3:12Speaker 6: is treating our people. And I'm not going to say
- 3:16Speaker 6: these are not my people. I think they are, right?
- 3:19Speaker 6: I stand with Hispanics on so many issues. But when
- 3:23Speaker 6: it comes to any president of the United States enforcing
- 3:28Speaker 6: immigration law, who am I to get in the way
- 3:31Speaker 6: of that and start saying, no, we shouldn't have immigration law.
- 3:34Speaker 6: We should abolish ICE. That's insanity, especially when they're going
- 3:39Speaker 6: after the bad guys. Now, I understand if the media
- 3:41Speaker 6: tells you every single day, but they're not going after
- 3:44Speaker 6: the bad guys. They're going after your abuela. They're going
- 3:48Speaker 6: after your grandpa. They're going after the guy who makes
- 3:51Speaker 6: your food every day. People who work hard and they're
- 3:55Speaker 6: paying taxes into an I-10 or they're paying taxes under
- 3:59Speaker 6: identity fraud to somebody else's social security number. But they're
- 4:02Speaker 6: not here to be criminals. Why should they get deported?
- 4:06Speaker 6: They're a big part of our economy.
- 4:09Speaker 3: Maybe they are.
- 4:10Speaker 6: I'm sure buying cocaine is a big part of our economy.
- 4:12Speaker 6: Nobody's going to ask if you lock up a drug dealer.
- 4:15Speaker 6: I'm sure strippers make up a big part of the economy. Anybody,
- 4:18Speaker 6: raise your hand, not if you're driving. Raise your hand
- 4:20Speaker 6: if you think strippers don't make a bunch of money
- 4:22Speaker 6: every night in their strip bars. That's money that construction workers, doctors, lawyers, cops,
- 4:28Speaker 6: and everybody else who's sitting around the bar at a
- 4:30Speaker 6: strip bar is contributing to that economy. Does anybody bat
- 4:34Speaker 6: an eye about the stripper's money?
- 4:40Speaker 7: Right?
- 4:41Speaker 6: What if that stripper now starts turning tricks? She becomes
- 4:44Speaker 6: a prostitute and she gets arrested for prostitution. And she
- 4:47Speaker 6: happens to get arrested after turning tricks and picking up
- 4:50Speaker 6: her kid. And now she's got her kid in the car.
- 4:53Speaker 6: She's going home. Or a guy, let's say. When I
- 4:57Speaker 6: was a barber, I had a guy, a client, that
- 5:00Speaker 6: was a male stripper. And he did a lot of
- 5:02Speaker 6: prostitution on the side with men.
- 5:04Speaker 3: How about that? So let's just say that guy.
- 5:06Speaker 6: Goes and he's a divorcee, let's say. Goes and picks
- 5:10Speaker 6: up his kid from his ex-wife, his baby's mom, whatever
- 5:14Speaker 6: you want to call it. And now the cops arrest
- 5:16Speaker 6: him because he's money laundering. Or because along with his
- 5:20Speaker 6: stripping and his prostitution, he sells them a little ecstasy.
- 5:23Speaker 6: So he gets arrested on a drug charge. Are we
- 5:25Speaker 6: supposed to now rally around the car when the cops
- 5:28Speaker 6: are pulling him over and saying we need to abolish
- 5:30Speaker 6: the police? How dare you arrest him? What's wrong with you?
- 5:33Speaker 6: Do you have a warrant? What have we become in
- 5:36Speaker 6: this society? These are the choices that people have to
- 5:38Speaker 6: make tomorrow in the voting booth. We're not using logic.
- 5:40Speaker 6: We're not using common sense. We're not using right and wrong.
- 5:43Speaker 6: We're not using our moral compass. People are using an
- 5:46Speaker 6: emotional compass. attachment to certain issues. That's not even legitimate.
- 5:51Speaker 6: We can't become emotionally attached to certain issues just because
- 5:54Speaker 6: the media told us to, or because some caption on
- 5:57Speaker 6: a video tugged at our heart, making ICE cops look
- 6:01Speaker 6: like Gestapo because they're wearing masks. And listen, I'm no
- 6:05Speaker 6: fan of the mask, but I am a fan of
- 6:07Speaker 6: law and order. I am a fan of immigration control.
- 6:10Speaker 6: I am a fan of doing the right thing. Punto final, period,
- 6:13Speaker 6: the end.
- 6:14Speaker 3: What are you going to do?
- 6:14Speaker 6: This is as old as the day is long. 1964, right?
- 6:19Speaker 6: Or 19, yeah, was that 62 years ago? We had
- 6:23Speaker 6: a candidate running for office and he was talking about
- 6:26Speaker 6: the importance of the upcoming election and how serious the
- 6:30Speaker 6: matter was.
- 6:31Speaker 3: Listen to this. This is the issue of this election.
- 6:35Speaker 1: Whether we believe in our capacity for self-government or whether
- 6:38Speaker 1: we abandon the American Revolution and confess that a little
- 6:41Speaker 1: intellectual elite in a far distant capital can plan our
- 6:44Speaker 1: lives for us better than we can plan them ourselves.
- 6:47Speaker 1: You and I are told increasingly we have to choose
- 6:49Speaker 1: between a left or right. Well, I'd like to suggest
- 6:52Speaker 1: there is no such thing as a left or right.
- 6:54Speaker 1: There's only an up or down. Man's old age dreams.
- 6:58Speaker 1: the ultimate in individual freedom consistent with law and order,
- 7:02Speaker 1: or down to the ant.
- 7:04Speaker 8: Heap of totalitarianism.
- 7:05Speaker 1: And regardless of their sincerity, their humanitarian motives, those who
- 7:09Speaker 1: would trade our freedom for security have embarked on this
- 7:13Speaker 1: downward course.
- 7:14Speaker 9: Ronald Reagan.
- 7:15Speaker 6: That is Ronald Reagan. Ronaldus Magnus, the 40th President of
- 7:20Speaker 6: the United States. And that was in 1964 that he
- 7:24Speaker 6: gave that speech. Let that sink in.
- 7:27Speaker 3: He's right.
- 7:27Speaker 6: It's not about left or right. It's always about up
- 7:29Speaker 6: or down. Which direction do you want America to go in? Now,
- 7:32Speaker 6: a lot of people are going to vote their pocketbook.
- 7:34Speaker 6: A lot of people are going to vote for themselves.
- 7:36Speaker 6: But I just always try to remind people, you want
- 7:39Speaker 6: to vote for yourself, okay. Try voting for your children,
- 7:42Speaker 6: for your grandchildren that maybe aren't here yet. Think about
- 7:45Speaker 6: the America you want them to grow up in. I
- 7:47Speaker 6: don't know anybody who thinks that It's better to be
- 7:51Speaker 6: on welfare, to be on government assistance, to have a
- 7:54Speaker 6: government program than it is to work.
- 7:57Speaker 3: Now, I'm lying.
- 7:57Speaker 6: I've met several people like that. They're people that live
- 8:00Speaker 6: in housing projects. They're people that have never tried to
- 8:03Speaker 6: accomplish their dreams. They're people that have never tried to
- 8:06Speaker 6: leave the four walls of their government-funded apartment. And I'm
- 8:10Speaker 6: not crapping on those people.
- 8:12Speaker 3: They're afraid.
- 8:14Speaker 6: They're afraid to pursue the American dream. They're afraid to
- 8:17Speaker 6: be whatever God has called them to be.
- 8:19Speaker 3: They're afraid. Do you want to be afraid? Do you
- 8:23Speaker 3: want to live in fear?
- 8:24Speaker 6: Do you want to support candidates that support the destruction
- 8:28Speaker 6: of the country as we know it? Because get this
- 8:32Speaker 6: through your head. They want to destroy this country as
- 8:35Speaker 6: we know it. This isn't about them hating the country
- 8:38Speaker 6: per se, which I would argue many of them do.
- 8:41Speaker 6: This is about transforming the America of that you and
- 8:45Speaker 6: I know. And I mean, this couldn't be more clear.
- 8:48Speaker 6: When you listen to what some of them say, some
- 8:50Speaker 6: of the most radical on the left, for example, Leah Greenberg,
- 8:55Speaker 6: she's the co-founder of an organization called Indivisible. It's a
- 8:59Speaker 6: left-wing organization. And she made some comments on a podcast
- 9:02Speaker 6: this week saying that their goal is to transform American democracy.
- 9:09Speaker 6: So it makes you think, Is there something wrong with
- 9:11Speaker 6: American democracy now? And by the way, is America even
- 9:14Speaker 6: a democracy or is this a republic, a representative democracy,
- 9:18Speaker 6: if you will, where we elect people to act in
- 9:20Speaker 6: government on our behalf? Do we have an electoral college
- 9:24Speaker 6: that elects a president?
- 9:25Speaker 3: Yes, we do.
- 9:26Speaker 6: Have we ever had a president that was not elected
- 9:28Speaker 6: through the Electoral College?
- 9:29Speaker 3: No, we have not.
- 9:30Speaker 6: Every single president has gone through this process that our
- 9:33Speaker 6: founders created in the Constitution. So all they do is
- 9:35Speaker 6: find fault with the Constitution.
- 9:37Speaker 3: It's wrong. It's racist. It's genocidal.
- 9:40Speaker 8: It's xenophobic.
- 9:41Speaker 6: Okay, well, it's been racist all those years, so now
- 9:43Speaker 6: we have to change it. This is their argument. This
- 9:45Speaker 6: is what she wants to do to America. This is
- 9:48Speaker 6: the change, right? America may not be perfect, but it's
- 9:51Speaker 6: the America that we have. And I'll tell you what.
- 9:54Speaker 6: when it comes to living in fear, I live in
- 9:56Speaker 6: fear of seeing this America change anymore. I think we
- 9:59Speaker 6: need to go back to the way things were. I
- 10:01Speaker 6: remember 10 years ago, right?
- 10:06Speaker 3: 2016. Things weren't as crazy as they are now. Listen
- 10:09Speaker 3: to Leah Greenberg. Check this out.
- 10:11Speaker 10: Worth just naming that there's, you know, there's a lot
- 10:13Speaker 10: of discourse around is impeachment the goal? And our take
- 10:16Speaker 10: on this is that impeachment is a tactic within a
- 10:18Speaker 10: strategy to get to a broader goal. Like our goal
- 10:22Speaker 10: is bigger than Donald Trump or this current administration. Our
- 10:25Speaker 10: goal is the transformation of American democracy so that it
- 10:28Speaker 10: is inclusive and representative and resilient to future authoritarians and
- 10:33Speaker 10: authoritarian attacks.
- 10:34Speaker 3: So future authoritarian attacks. That's wild.
- 10:38Speaker 6: That's insanity to me. But the problem here is they're
- 10:41Speaker 6: trying to fool you into thinking that Donald Trump is
- 10:43Speaker 6: some sort of authoritarian. And they're very good at it, right?
- 10:46Speaker 6: The first thing they do, and this one is I
- 10:49Speaker 6: blame El Trompito for, they give all the ammunition with
- 10:52Speaker 6: the federal cops with masks on. If these ICE officers
- 10:56Speaker 6: didn't have masks on, you know how hard it would
- 10:58Speaker 6: be to call them authoritarian.
- 11:00Speaker 3: But they do.
- 11:01Speaker 6: So it starts to fool people who don't understand. And
- 11:04Speaker 6: if they can effectively make the case that these are authoritarians,
- 11:08Speaker 6: that these are the bad guys, And people think, well,
- 11:11Speaker 6: I don't want some mass federal agents coming to my
- 11:14Speaker 6: house and taking me.
- 11:15Speaker 3: First, it's the illegal immigrants. Then it's me. Now what
- 11:18Speaker 3: do I do? Oh, my gosh. Lions and tigers and bears.
- 11:20Speaker 5: Oh, my.
- 11:21Speaker 6: This is the art of influencing people. And that's where
- 11:23Speaker 6: they've arrived. They've made Trump to be the boogeyman. And
- 11:27Speaker 6: every Republican, therefore, is the boogeyman. So the only option
- 11:30Speaker 6: you have is to go with the Democrats. And it
- 11:32Speaker 6: doesn't matter if we believe in abortion. It doesn't matter
- 11:34Speaker 6: if we believe in higher taxation. It doesn't matter if
- 11:36Speaker 6: we believe in stifling growth. It doesn't matter what we
- 11:39Speaker 6: believe in. Ultimately, this is what is going to help
- 11:43Speaker 6: you from the big bad wolf. But when you hear
- 11:46Speaker 6: Donald Trump and you hear him talking about what matters,
- 11:50Speaker 6: he's talking about the evil that exists in the world.
- 11:53Speaker 6: He's talking about how extreme, how dangerous these people can be.
- 12:01Speaker 6: So it doesn't sound too dangerous to me to vote
- 12:04Speaker 6: for a Republican. To me, it sounds dangerous to have
- 12:06Speaker 6: somebody that believes in taking your business, somebody that believes
- 12:09Speaker 6: in that you should give up everything you've got. You see, ultimately,
- 12:13Speaker 6: they're trying to make the case that we need to
- 12:17Speaker 6: change everything. She opens the door to say, which isn't
- 12:20Speaker 6: within her rights, right? It is within her rights to say,
- 12:24Speaker 6: I want to create an organization, a political movement. I
- 12:26Speaker 6: want to change what I don't like. I don't like
- 12:28Speaker 6: the Constitution. Let's change the Constitution.
- 12:30Speaker 2: Good.
- 12:30Speaker 3: You can do that. Nothing wrong with that.
- 12:33Speaker 6: I have a problem when it becomes, I want to
- 12:36Speaker 6: change the Constitution. And I want to go after every
- 12:39Speaker 6: last person that served in this government. And I want
- 12:42Speaker 6: to make sure you pay for what you did. And
- 12:44Speaker 6: you're going to remember 2027. And when they're pressed on it,
- 12:47Speaker 6: they're going to say, well, we meant at the ballot box.
- 12:49Speaker 6: But we all know how the left operates. Trust me,
- 12:52Speaker 6: you've never seen a bunch of me and my friends
- 12:55Speaker 6: that are MAGA people stalking anybody on the left and
- 12:58Speaker 6: trying to harm them. But the left has tried to
- 13:01Speaker 6: kill people and succeeded. Charlie Kirk, to be a perfect example.
- 13:06Speaker 6: President Donald Trump getting shot in the ear when he
- 13:09Speaker 6: got grazed at the Butler rally in Pennsylvania. You don't
- 13:14Speaker 6: see that happening the other way. People will try and
- 13:16Speaker 6: make the case, oh, what about that Republican guy? There
- 13:18Speaker 6: might be an isolated incident of something or other. But
- 13:22Speaker 6: this is not the mantra of the Republicans. It's not
- 13:25Speaker 6: the mantra of the MAGA movement for sure. They're not
- 13:29Speaker 6: saying let's make America great again by killing everybody. They're
- 13:33Speaker 6: saying let's make America great again by deporting the people
- 13:36Speaker 6: who shouldn't be here, stopping the flow of drugs, stopping
- 13:40Speaker 6: the flow of the radical left from taking over the government.
- 13:46Speaker 6: And in essence, that's really the message, right, in a nutshell.
- 13:50Speaker 6: But they'll have you believe that somehow it's okay because
- 13:54Speaker 6: you are so wrong because you're a Trump supporter. We've
- 13:56Speaker 6: got to destroy your life. You don't have a right
- 13:58Speaker 6: to make a living. You don't have a right to
- 14:00Speaker 6: do anything. That's the difference between the left.
- 14:02Speaker 7: Why?
- 14:03Speaker 6: Because they're godless. They will stop at nothing because they
- 14:08Speaker 6: believe their political cause is the end all of their existence.
- 14:13Speaker 6: They exist to promote their leftism. I don't exist to
- 14:18Speaker 6: promote a right of center point of view. I exist
- 14:21Speaker 6: because God created me for his own pleasure. And that
- 14:24Speaker 6: is a key distinction. That's why there are so many
- 14:28Speaker 6: people in the middle. that are saying, I just want
- 14:31Speaker 6: to go to work. I just want to take my
- 14:32Speaker 6: kids on vacation. I don't want to have to deal
- 14:34Speaker 6: with all this crazy rhetoric. The problem is you're in
- 14:37Speaker 6: their crosshairs, not mine. They're targeting you, telling you that
- 14:42Speaker 6: you're a fascist if you don't join their team. I'm
- 14:45Speaker 6: telling you, if you don't join my team, enjoy Disneyland.
- 14:48Speaker 3: Have a great day.
- 14:50Speaker 6: That is where the danger lies. There is no future.
- 14:54Speaker 6: There is no peace. There is no prosperity. It's shared
- 14:57Speaker 6: demise like Cuba, like Venezuela, like China. A handful of
- 15:03Speaker 6: people making all the money. People say that's America. Oh,
- 15:06Speaker 6: a handful of people.
- 15:07Speaker 3: Guess what?
- 15:08Speaker 6: I know plenty of people that have bought a home,
- 15:12Speaker 6: plenty of people that will continue, excuse me, to buy homes.
- 15:15Speaker 6: I'm not saying everybody, and I'm not saying there's not
- 15:19Speaker 6: a problem. We do have an affordability problem. which translates
- 15:24Speaker 6: to me into an economic problem. We need a more
- 15:28Speaker 6: robust economy. This doesn't mean that Trump is a failure.
- 15:32Speaker 6: This means Trump has got his foot on the gas
- 15:34Speaker 6: and he hasn't gotten there yet. We're headed in the
- 15:36Speaker 6: right direction, but we can't get there with these radical
- 15:39Speaker 6: leftist policies. When you hear Donald Trump talk about what's
- 15:43Speaker 6: going on and why we should vote for Republicans and
- 15:45Speaker 6: what has been accomplished, I have to say, he talks
- 15:50Speaker 6: about their extremism and I don't think he's wrong.
- 15:54Speaker 3: Listen to the president.
- 15:55Speaker 11: As you know, this is the last day before the
- 15:57Speaker 11: midterm elections, the most important midterm, I believe, in our lifetime.
- 16:02Speaker 11: The Democrat Party is nominated the most extreme and dangerous
- 16:07Speaker 11: slate of candidates in American history. These are the most
- 16:10Speaker 11: dangerous candidates ever put up. There's never been anything like
- 16:15Speaker 11: what we're seeing jihadists and Muslim Brotherhood members and people
- 16:21Speaker 11: that nobody can even believe what will happen.
- 16:23Speaker 6: Now again, he's talking about Abdul El-Sayed, right, when he
- 16:26Speaker 6: says Muslim Brotherhood members. Abdul El-Sayed has two family members
- 16:30Speaker 6: that have been associated with members of the Muslim Brotherhood,
- 16:35Speaker 6: which is a terrorist organization that took over Egypt, took
- 16:40Speaker 6: over their political system, and radicalized Egypt, and was eventually
- 16:44Speaker 6: kicked out of Egypt, And where did they go? They
- 16:47Speaker 6: fled to Gaza. And what happens to lie between Gaza
- 16:51Speaker 6: and Egypt? Seven miles of border wall. And I don't
- 16:56Speaker 6: mean seven miles sideways. Seven miles the long way. They
- 17:02Speaker 6: have seven different fences that are a mile apart each.
- 17:06Speaker 6: They have a seven-mile buffer because they didn't want anything
- 17:10Speaker 6: to do with the Muslim Brotherhood. And that is, in fact,
- 17:13Speaker 6: other Muslims. Now, there are Christians. There are Coptic Christians
- 17:17Speaker 6: in Egypt. But it was other Muslims that expelled them
- 17:21Speaker 6: because of their radical terrorist ways. So, this is not
- 17:27Speaker 6: me being an Islamophobe. This is not the Egyptians being Islamophobes,
- 17:32Speaker 6: they themselves being from Islam.
- 17:36Speaker 1: No.
- 17:36Speaker 6: This is a known entity known as the Muslim Brotherhood,
- 17:40Speaker 6: which pretends to be a political party, but truly is
- 17:43Speaker 6: a terrorist organization and is recognized as such globally. So
- 17:49Speaker 6: when President Trump talks about this, he's not talking about
- 17:51Speaker 6: we don't like Abdul El-Sayed because of his name, or
- 17:54Speaker 6: as President Clinton was recently suggesting, and I talked about
- 17:57Speaker 6: this one or two shows ago, where he was saying
- 18:00Speaker 6: that we're tired of beating up on.
- 18:03Speaker 3: Muslims for being Muslims. No, this has nothing to do
- 18:06Speaker 3: with that.
- 18:07Speaker 6: This has to do with terrorist ties. not because he
- 18:10Speaker 6: has a funny name. Do you forget that we elected
- 18:13Speaker 6: a guy named Barack Obama? And at the time, President
- 18:17Speaker 6: Trump was out there when he was candidate, when he
- 18:19Speaker 6: was nobody, right? He was just Donald Trump from New York,
- 18:22Speaker 6: saying that he's a Muslim, that he was born in Kenya,
- 18:24Speaker 6: he had a fake birth certificate. All that was said,
- 18:29Speaker 6: and yet America still sided with Barack Hussein Obama. So
- 18:35Speaker 6: when we say that we don't like Abdul El-Sayed, because
- 18:38Speaker 6: of his ties to the Muslim Brotherhood. It's not because
- 18:41Speaker 6: he chose to be a Muslim. It's not because of
- 18:43Speaker 6: anything other than the fact that the Muslim Brotherhood is
- 18:47Speaker 6: a terrorist organization. And to his credit, he has disavowed
- 18:52Speaker 6: any of the comments made by his sister. But he
- 18:56Speaker 6: always does it in a very, you've got to push
- 18:59Speaker 6: hard to get him to say, do you disavow what
- 19:01Speaker 6: they did and what they said? And he starts pushing
- 19:03Speaker 6: back saying, you know, why are you asking? What's the
- 19:05Speaker 6: genesis of your question? and making it seem to be
- 19:09Speaker 6: like they're being Islamophobic. If I'm Puerto Rican and I
- 19:13Speaker 6: tell you that I have family members that supported Al-Qaeda,
- 19:16Speaker 6: the terrorist group that knocked down the Twin Towers, according
- 19:19Speaker 6: to our government's reports, wouldn't it be fair to say
- 19:23Speaker 6: I'm going to the United States Senate where I'm going
- 19:25Speaker 6: to have a senatorial clearance, a security clearance? Isn't it
- 19:30Speaker 6: fair for me to at least answer the questions about
- 19:32Speaker 6: my family members that were involved with terrorists? I think
- 19:35Speaker 6: that's fair. But somehow, we're all bad guys. So when
- 19:39Speaker 6: President Trump talks about that, that's what he's talking about.
- 19:42Speaker 6: And don't let the media fool you.
- 19:44Speaker 11: Looking at and all committed to the same radical agenda,
- 19:48Speaker 11: open borders, raising your taxes by trillions of dollars, taking
- 19:52Speaker 11: away your guns, transgender utilization of your children, abolishing oil
- 19:58Speaker 11: and natural gas, sending energy costs skyrocketing and opening the
- 20:03Speaker 11: floodgates to millions of migrants from all over the world.
- 20:08Speaker 11: hoping to get them to be able to vote. That's
- 20:11Speaker 11: the only reason they're letting them in. They want them
- 20:12Speaker 11: to be able to vote.
- 20:14Speaker 6: He's 100% right. Look, in the last month or two,
- 20:18Speaker 6: we've seen the Department of Justice and the FBI continue
- 20:21Speaker 6: to arrest people all over the country. Not because they're
- 20:25Speaker 6: trying to vote, because they're trying to vote illegally, because
- 20:28Speaker 6: they weren't allowed to vote, because these are non-citizens voting
- 20:32Speaker 6: in federal elections, which is a crime. But yet, you'll
- 20:35Speaker 6: have the people from 60 Minutes and others, like we
- 20:38Speaker 6: talked about on yesterday's show, on Thursday's show, that want
- 20:42Speaker 6: to talk about, is it really illegal? Is it just
- 20:46Speaker 6: a misdemeanor? Should we be looking the other way on
- 20:48Speaker 6: these things? When you give away all of your rights,
- 20:50Speaker 6: you'll have none left. We have to uphold the tradition
- 20:54Speaker 6: of law and order. If we expect to maintain it,
- 20:58Speaker 6: there's no other way. I don't think that's extreme by
- 21:01Speaker 6: any sense. But ultimately, this is where we are. This
- 21:04Speaker 6: is where it is. There's no other way to do it.
- 21:08Speaker 6: And in order for us to have an America that
- 21:11Speaker 6: we love and cherish and protect, what are you going
- 21:14Speaker 6: to do? You've got to vote. It's the only way.
- 21:17Speaker 6: I got one more clip from President Trump. We're going
- 21:19Speaker 6: to play that one when we return.
- 21:21Speaker 3: Don't go anywhere. I'm Rich Valdez, and it's almost election day.
- 21:25Speaker 5: This is America. This is America. He's brown, he's bald,
- 21:32Speaker 5: and he's breaking it down.
- 21:34Speaker 3: Oh, he's so handsome. What's his name?
- 21:36Speaker 5: Rich Valdez.
- 21:39Speaker 6: All right, familia, welcome back. We continue with both sides
- 21:42Speaker 6: making their case. And of course, we're going to play
- 21:44Speaker 6: both sides for you like we always do in the
- 21:45Speaker 6: last segment. I played for you a member of the
- 21:48Speaker 6: radical left, Leah Goldberg, making her case for why America
- 21:52Speaker 6: needs to be radically changed. and El Trumpito de Naldes
- 21:56Speaker 6: Magnus making his case for why we can't support people
- 21:59Speaker 6: that are affiliated with the biggest enemies that America has.
- 22:03Speaker 6: How crazy is that, right? Not crazy at all. But
- 22:06Speaker 6: President Trump continued. He was on the campaign trail. He's been,
- 22:09Speaker 6: I think, to 29 states in the last several days,
- 22:13Speaker 6: in the last week or two. And good for him.
- 22:16Speaker 6: I mean, if anybody sells America better than Donald Trump,
- 22:20Speaker 6: they'd be hard-pressed to Fool me. I don't think that
- 22:23Speaker 6: anybody's doing it as good as Donald Trump. He's got
- 22:26Speaker 6: his finger on the pulse of all of these issues. Now,
- 22:28Speaker 6: maybe you don't like his style and this and that.
- 22:30Speaker 3: All right, great. You can buy somewhere else.
- 22:32Speaker 6: But his ability to make the case for America is unmatched,
- 22:37Speaker 6: in my opinion. I mean, I think we haven't seen
- 22:38Speaker 6: this type of thing since Reagan. Reagan was a professional
- 22:41Speaker 6: actor that delivered it probably in a more smooth manner.
- 22:45Speaker 6: But Reagan was doing it in a time where things
- 22:49Speaker 6: were just as volatile. but not just as crazy. And yeah,
- 22:54Speaker 6: they shot at Reagan too, but they missed.
- 22:57Speaker 3: And, or they didn't get him, I should say, like
- 22:59Speaker 3: he said.
- 23:01Speaker 6: The ultimate story here is President Trump, I think, is
- 23:05Speaker 6: making an effective case, not because of his showmanship or
- 23:09Speaker 6: his brash New York City bravado or his accent and
- 23:13Speaker 6: the way he ducks and moves his hands, none of that,
- 23:16Speaker 6: but because he's spitting facts.
- 23:19Speaker 3: Listen to this.
- 23:20Speaker 11: Democrats want to blow all of this up by electing
- 23:24Speaker 11: communist jihadists, and the United States Congress will not allow
- 23:29Speaker 11: that to happen. We've got some big races tomorrow. I
- 23:33Speaker 11: guess some of the voting has already gone on, but
- 23:35Speaker 11: tomorrow's election day, more traditional, and we can't let that happen.
- 23:39Speaker 11: We have to keep our Congress strong, free. A little
- 23:44Speaker 11: bit of apple pie is something very nice about that.
- 23:47Speaker 11: We're not looking to have a jihadist be in our Senate.
- 23:52Speaker 6: Listen, A, I don't want jihadists in our Senate, and B,
- 23:55Speaker 6: who doesn't love apple pie, right? I mean, this guy's
- 23:58Speaker 6: talking my language.
- 24:00Speaker 8: Go ahead.
- 24:00Speaker 11: An example, and I've traveled all across the country, spoken
- 24:05Speaker 11: at all of these rallies I've done over the last
- 24:08Speaker 11: Two and a half weeks, and America is.
- 24:11Speaker 8: Ready to go. They're ready to vote. I hope they're
- 24:13Speaker 8: ready to do the right thing.
- 24:16Speaker 11: If they vote, because I won the last election, we
- 24:19Speaker 11: had record numbers. We won many states in records, Florida, Texas,
- 24:25Speaker 11: and so many states. I won almost every state that
- 24:27Speaker 11: I went to. I was saying we have the all-time record.
- 24:30Speaker 11: But with all of those records, it all doesn't matter
- 24:34Speaker 11: if we're going to be foolish and let people that
- 24:36Speaker 11: hate our country win an election, because if the people
- 24:41Speaker 11: that voted for me and voted in the last election
- 24:45Speaker 11: where we had such a great victory, if they go
- 24:48Speaker 11: out and vote just a good portion of them, we
- 24:50Speaker 11: will win in a landslide. Now, that doesn't happen because
- 24:54Speaker 11: usually whoever the sitting president is, Republican or Democrat, good.
- 25:00Speaker 8: Or bad, good president, great president, bad.
- 25:03Speaker 11: For some reason, the sitting president doesn't win the midterms,
- 25:07Speaker 11: but We gave this a very strong shot.
- 25:13Speaker 6: He's 100% right. He's out there fighting. He knows that
- 25:15Speaker 6: the odds are against him. You just heard him say it, right?
- 25:19Speaker 6: Most presidents lose their midterms. That's more presidents than not, right?
- 25:24Speaker 6: The media will try and tell you, ignore the history,
- 25:27Speaker 6: ignore the facts, ignore the patterns. Trump lost because America
- 25:31Speaker 6: hates Trump. Yeah, then explain why he's there. And why
- 25:35Speaker 6: after he was impeached twice, they elected him again after
- 25:39Speaker 6: they tried to kill the guy.
- 25:41Speaker 11: Right?
- 25:41Speaker 6: Because the people trying to kill him are not the
- 25:43Speaker 6: American people. It's the enemies of the state. And he
- 25:46Speaker 6: raises so many good points there, whether you like his
- 25:48Speaker 6: delivery or not.
- 25:50Speaker 3: He's right. He's right about taxes.
- 25:52Speaker 8: Right?
- 25:52Speaker 3: The big, beautiful bill. People hated it because it was
- 25:54Speaker 3: massive spending. But guess what?
- 25:57Speaker 6: It curtailed taxes for a number of people, including people
- 26:01Speaker 6: that were tip workers.
- 26:04Speaker 3: Right? No tax on tips. Now, I know, I understand.
- 26:07Speaker 6: I say that and right away, oh, it's not no
- 26:09Speaker 6: tax on tips. Listen, what President Trump proposed and what
- 26:12Speaker 6: the House passed are two different things.
- 26:14Speaker 3: Understood.
- 26:15Speaker 6: But do people have a right to file their taxes
- 26:20Speaker 6: and write off some of their tip income and not
- 26:24Speaker 6: pay taxes on it?
- 26:25Speaker 8: Yes.
- 26:25Speaker 6: They are not going to pay taxes on a portion
- 26:28Speaker 6: of their tips. They're not going to pay taxes on
- 26:30Speaker 6: a portion of their overtime. They're going to be able
- 26:33Speaker 6: to write off the interest on an auto loan for
- 26:37Speaker 6: a Cars Made in America. These are things that were
- 26:40Speaker 6: not possible before. And to sit here and poo-poo that
- 26:45Speaker 6: like it's not worth anything to the American barber who's
- 26:49Speaker 6: getting a tip, which I used to be, the American
- 26:51Speaker 6: bartender like AOC used to be, anybody who's making a
- 26:57Speaker 6: tip somewhere and able to write off a portion of
- 27:00Speaker 6: their tips, they're going to love that. Let's keep it
- 27:05Speaker 6: real here. You know how many people cheat on their
- 27:07Speaker 6: taxes because they get tips and cash? Trump creating a
- 27:12Speaker 6: system to disincentivize cheating on your taxes? Trump repeatedly speaking
- 27:19Speaker 6: about eliminating a federal income tax and replacing it entirely
- 27:24Speaker 6: with tariffs? And the left will turn around and say
- 27:27Speaker 6: the tariffs are making everything cost more. That's Trump, actually.
- 27:31Speaker 3: They're making everything cost more. Maybe that's my radical lefty voice.
- 27:35Speaker 9: Come on.
- 27:36Speaker 6: It's late at night right now. But I'm not asleep
- 27:39Speaker 6: just yet. It's going to take a little bit more
- 27:41Speaker 6: than that to fool me. But I want to continue, right?
- 27:43Speaker 6: Because Hillary Clinton is out there and she is screaming
- 27:46Speaker 6: about taking the country back. Taking it back where? Taking
- 27:49Speaker 6: it back to the days of Karl Marx? Absolute insanity.
- 27:53Speaker 6: I don't want any part of it. But here's what
- 27:54Speaker 6: she had to say. Because like I said, on this show,
- 27:56Speaker 6: we'll always give you both sides. I'm playing a clip
- 27:58Speaker 6: of Trump. You better believe I'm playing a trip from
- 28:01Speaker 6: the left.
- 28:01Speaker 3: Listen to this. Ann and I were just talking.
- 28:03Speaker 12: We're seeing democratic movement in places that we never could
- 28:08Speaker 12: have predicted three months, six months ago. I think if
- 28:12Speaker 12: people turn out, and that's really the biggest message that
- 28:16Speaker 12: we can all give you, I will say if you
- 28:19Speaker 12: turn out and vote and vote your conscience and vote
- 28:22Speaker 12: your interests and vote for the end of what we've
- 28:26Speaker 12: been living through in these last years, we're going to
- 28:29Speaker 12: get our country back. And then we can fight about
- 28:32Speaker 12: how we do things together and not how we point
- 28:35Speaker 12: fingers and yell and scream and insult each other, which
- 28:38Speaker 12: would be so welcome.
- 28:39Speaker 3: Oh, it would be so welcome.
- 28:41Speaker 6: You're lucky that I didn't prepare to do a whole
- 28:43Speaker 6: show on you pointing fingers and yelling and screaming. You know,
- 28:48Speaker 6: politicians are so good at trying to point out things.
- 28:50Speaker 6: Like the Bible says, you point your finger at somebody,
- 28:53Speaker 6: you got three fingers pointing at you, right? And that's
- 28:56Speaker 6: the bottom line truth here. Hillary Clinton hasn't been out
- 28:59Speaker 6: there blaming everybody else. She's blaming Donald Trump right now
- 29:02Speaker 6: for everybody's problems. Do they forget about the problems that
- 29:05Speaker 6: we had before Trump was in office that he took
- 29:07Speaker 6: a whole four years off? And we had an absolute
- 29:10Speaker 6: disaster in the White House named Joe Biden that not
- 29:13Speaker 6: even Democrats claim as their own. A guy that was
- 29:16Speaker 6: so bad they didn't let him run for reelection. And
- 29:19Speaker 6: without anybody ever casting a single vote for Kamala Harris,
- 29:23Speaker 6: they made her the candidate for president of the United States.
- 29:27Speaker 6: She didn't win so much as a primary. Did we
- 29:31Speaker 6: forget all of that? That the American people had no
- 29:35Speaker 6: say in choosing Kamala Harris to be president? or that
- 29:39Speaker 6: Dom Rickles stunt double Tim Walz to be her vice president?
- 29:42Speaker 6: Not a single vote. They were selected, coronated like kings.
- 29:49Speaker 6: This isn't England. We don't have kings. We should have
- 29:53Speaker 6: had a no kings rally to protest what the Democrats
- 29:56Speaker 6: did during that election, forcing Biden out. I don't know
- 29:59Speaker 6: if you were here for that one. Do you remember
- 30:01Speaker 6: when he said, I'm running for president? And then he
- 30:05Speaker 6: came out the next day and he was really angry.
- 30:07Speaker 6: He said, I've decided I'm not running for reelection. Senator Harris,
- 30:12Speaker 6: I mean, Kamala Harris, Vice President Harris has my full,
- 30:14Speaker 6: full support. I remember it like yesterday. An elephant never forgets.
- 30:20Speaker 6: Do not be fooled. Did Donald Trump run in a
- 30:25Speaker 6: primary back in 2016 against 15 pretty hardcore Republicans that
- 30:29Speaker 6: gave him a run for his money? Senator Marco Rubio
- 30:32Speaker 6: amongst them. Governor Jeb Bush amongst them. Governor Chris Christie
- 30:35Speaker 6: amongst them. These are not wallflowers. Trump earned his right
- 30:40Speaker 6: to run. And when he came back, there was a
- 30:45Speaker 6: crowded field of people running for president. And he came back.
- 30:50Speaker 6: He came back strong and he won fair and square, landslide,
- 30:53Speaker 6: winning all seven swing states. So miss me with your
- 30:58Speaker 6: take your country back rhetoric, Mrs.
- 31:00Speaker 3: Clinton. It was Trump that took the country back.
- 31:03Speaker 6: Now, if you want to take it back to where
- 31:06Speaker 6: it was when we had the 8% inflation and the
- 31:09Speaker 6: $ 5 gas prices, that's up to you. Not something I
- 31:15Speaker 6: can support.
- 31:16Speaker 3: Anyway, moving along.
- 31:17Speaker 6: We're going to continue talking about the election, but we're
- 31:20Speaker 6: done with Mrs.
- 31:20Speaker 8: Clinton.
- 31:21Speaker 6: We're going to do a little bit more on Jamie
- 31:25Speaker 6: Raskin because Jamie Raskin, you know him from Congress, the
- 31:27Speaker 6: guy that had a brain tumor, was wearing a bandana
- 31:30Speaker 6: on his head for a while.
- 31:31Speaker 3: His father is Marcus Raskin.
- 31:33Speaker 6: He was the head of the Center for Policy Studies,
- 31:35Speaker 6: a known communist organization. Of course, now it's unfair for
- 31:39Speaker 6: me to say, well, just because his dad was a
- 31:41Speaker 6: known communist doesn't mean that he's a communist, right? Because,
- 31:44Speaker 6: you know, it'd be unfair to do that. Okay, got it.
- 31:47Speaker 3: But when you hear him talk, can we say that
- 31:49Speaker 3: he's a known communist then? Taste the soup. This is
- 31:53Speaker 3: Jamie Raskin talking about fair elections. This one is a hoot,
- 31:59Speaker 3: to say the least.
- 32:05Speaker 12: How confident are you that these elections will be carried
- 32:08Speaker 12: out fairly and accurately?
- 32:10Speaker 8: If the federal government stays out of it.
- 32:13Speaker 6: Let's pause that right there. Is this a legitimate question?
- 32:18Speaker 6: I'm going to say, yes, it's a legitimate question because
- 32:21Speaker 6: Donald Trump, our president, has called elections into question, saying
- 32:26Speaker 6: that they're.
- 32:27Speaker 8: Rigged, folks.
- 32:28Speaker 3: It's a rigged election. And he's not wrong for doing that.
- 32:32Speaker 6: This opens the door now for the left to play
- 32:35Speaker 6: amongst themselves, right, Kristen Welker and the rest, to ask
- 32:40Speaker 6: Congressman Raskin, well, being that Mr. President says it's not
- 32:45Speaker 6: a fair election, do you have confidence that this election
- 32:48Speaker 6: will be carried out with the utmost of integrity? And
- 32:52Speaker 6: now he gets to get on his soapbox and make
- 32:54Speaker 6: his big pontifications about how bad you and me are.
- 32:59Speaker 9: Let's the state government authorities actually run the elections the
- 33:04Speaker 9: way that we always have.
- 33:05Speaker 8: We will have free and fair elections.
- 33:07Speaker 9: The problem is, as this judge found in a very
- 33:09Speaker 9: important ruling, that the Trump administration keeps trying to stick
- 33:14Speaker 9: its nose into state electoral administration when it has no
- 33:18Speaker 9: constitutional role there. Only Congress could decide we're going to
- 33:22Speaker 9: pass a law to allow.
- 33:24Speaker 6: Does federal the federal government through the executive branch Do
- 33:30Speaker 6: they have any right in enforcing federal election law through
- 33:38Speaker 6: whatever means they have lawfully, Mr.
- 33:40Speaker 5: Raskin?
- 33:42Speaker 6: Or are they supposed to turn to the state police
- 33:45Speaker 6: to enforce a congressional election?
- 33:49Speaker 9: The post office or the president to get involved in
- 33:52Speaker 9: the administration of elections, we have not passed.
- 33:55Speaker 6: Let me ask you something, Congressman Raskin. If I am
- 33:59Speaker 6: voting by mail and I have a problem in receiving
- 34:04Speaker 6: my ballot, should I call my local police department to
- 34:10Speaker 6: tell them I haven't gotten my ballot yet? Should I
- 34:14Speaker 6: call the Federal Election Commission? That is an organization, an
- 34:20Speaker 6: agency that reports to the president because he is the
- 34:24Speaker 6: executive branch under the Constitution.
- 34:29Speaker 3: Who's right here? I know I'm right. But, you know,
- 34:31Speaker 3: just for kicks and giggles.
- 34:34Speaker 8: Such a law.
- 34:34Speaker 9: The president's got nothing to do with it. So he
- 34:37Speaker 9: should go off to Mar-a-Lago and let us have.
- 34:40Speaker 8: Mr.
- 34:40Speaker 6: Raskin, you're only hating on Mar-a-Lago because you haven't been there.
- 34:43Speaker 6: It is a beautiful estate. And now you're just trying
- 34:46Speaker 6: to deflect, right? You were just talking about the legality
- 34:49Speaker 6: of a mail-in vote. And I'm telling you that if me,
- 34:51Speaker 6: John Q. Public, a member of the citizenry, has a
- 34:55Speaker 6: problem voting, am I supposed to call the state police
- 34:57Speaker 6: in my state?
- 34:58Speaker 8: Of course not.
- 35:00Speaker 6: Because these things are administered through the Federal Elections Commission, right?
- 35:04Speaker 6: They do these things. Of course, there's a State Board
- 35:06Speaker 6: of Elections, of course, that you want to deal with
- 35:08Speaker 6: because they're the ones issuing your ballot. So you have
- 35:12Speaker 6: different and a few ways to go. But if there
- 35:14Speaker 6: is a problem with me exercising my right to vote
- 35:17Speaker 6: and I feel like my civil rights have been violated,
- 35:21Speaker 6: are you saying I don't have a right to a
- 35:25Speaker 6: federal claim?
- 35:25Speaker 3: Of course I do.
- 35:27Speaker 6: So don't make it seem like the federal government and
- 35:29Speaker 6: the executive branch has no role in anything. Because that
- 35:35Speaker 6: would be ineffective.
- 35:37Speaker 3: It's true.
- 35:37Speaker 6: The Constitution says it's up to the states to direct
- 35:41Speaker 6: the time, the place, and the manner of the election.
- 35:45Speaker 6: How the United States Postal Service delivers a ballot is
- 35:50Speaker 6: always going to be up to the United States Postal Service.
- 35:52Speaker 6: And that does not amount... to an interference in an election,
- 35:56Speaker 6: especially when he's trying to get it done fairly.
- 35:58Speaker 3: My two cents.
- 36:00Speaker 9: A democratic election, you know, he was talking about suspending elections,
- 36:04Speaker 9: not having elections.
- 36:05Speaker 8: We had elections in the middle of the Civil War.
- 36:08Speaker 6: Sir, Trump has never called for the suspension of an
- 36:12Speaker 6: election or not having an election.
- 36:15Speaker 1: Right?
- 36:15Speaker 6: Rhetorically speaking, he's made the case saying, you know, well,
- 36:19Speaker 6: we might as well not have elections if we're not
- 36:21Speaker 6: going to have elections, that type of thing. But that's
- 36:23Speaker 6: not truly calling for the suspension of an election, right?
- 36:27Speaker 6: I understand that you want to twist his words.
- 36:30Speaker 3: All good. That's what politicians do.
- 36:32Speaker 6: But it is a radical idea, a crazy idea, a
- 36:36Speaker 6: dangerous idea to think that we could suspend the will
- 36:39Speaker 6: of the people, that the Constitution doesn't call for elections
- 36:44Speaker 6: to be held on the Tuesday that they specifically enumerate
- 36:49Speaker 6: in the Constitution. This is why even people on my
- 36:52Speaker 6: side of the aisle Mr. Raskin, I will say that
- 36:55Speaker 6: I've argued with. I've had a guy named David Nino Rodriguez,
- 36:58Speaker 6: a former boxing champion, great guy. He was on my show.
- 37:02Speaker 6: He has an amazing story. He's a very popular YouTuber.
- 37:05Speaker 6: And I challenged him to this, right? I had Pat
- 37:08Speaker 6: Cash Patel on the show days earlier, had David Nino
- 37:10Speaker 6: Garcia on. And I told him, I said, you're suggesting
- 37:14Speaker 6: that there, and he says, well, I think that we might,
- 37:16Speaker 6: for the first time in American history, see a pause
- 37:19Speaker 6: in American elections. I said, how much do you want
- 37:21Speaker 6: to bet? You're going to owe me a steak dinner.
- 37:24Speaker 6: David Nino Garcia, you owe me a steak dinner. That
- 37:26Speaker 6: was from the last election, right?
- 37:28Speaker 3: 2024.
- 37:28Speaker 6: Now, I recently heard some clips that him and others
- 37:31Speaker 6: are out there suggesting it may happen again.
- 37:33Speaker 3: It's not going to happen. We will have an election tomorrow. Boom. Period.
- 37:38Speaker 5: The end.
- 37:39Speaker 6: As long as Christ does not rip through the eastern
- 37:42Speaker 6: sky and the rapture doesn't begin, we're having an election.
- 37:48Speaker 6: That's 250 years of precedent to back that up. So,
- 37:52Speaker 6: Please don't put me in a position where I have
- 37:54Speaker 6: to agree with what Raskin is saying because nobody wants
- 37:57Speaker 6: to be there. Although I'm happy he's there because he's
- 37:59Speaker 6: actually looking at the truth.
- 38:01Speaker 8: Elections in the middle of World War II.
- 38:03Speaker 9: Why should we not have elections just because Donald Trump
- 38:05Speaker 9: is going to get his feelings heard when there's.
- 38:07Speaker 6: Well, he's never said that, right? He never said his
- 38:09Speaker 6: feelings were heard. Now you're going off the deep end.
- 38:12Speaker 6: And if anybody wants to stop an election, it's usually
- 38:14Speaker 6: the Democrats because they know they're going to lose. In
- 38:16Speaker 6: this case, the odds are in their favor, right?
- 38:21Speaker 9: And.
- 38:22Speaker 3: They want to run. I'd run a run too if
- 38:24Speaker 3: I thought I was an easy win.
- 38:25Speaker 8: There's a landslide against him in 2026.
- 38:28Speaker 6: All right, listen, I'm not going to refute that. There
- 38:33Speaker 6: are going to be some losses on election day tomorrow.
- 38:37Speaker 6: But that doesn't mean that there's going to be a
- 38:39Speaker 6: complete loss in Congress. That doesn't mean we're going to
- 38:42Speaker 6: lose the Senate. Doesn't mean we're going to lose the House.
- 38:45Speaker 6: At least it doesn't have to mean that. We can
- 38:48Speaker 6: totally pull things around. But the only way that happens
- 38:52Speaker 6: is if people get out and vote. What Reagan was
- 38:54Speaker 6: talking about, what Trump was talking about.
- 38:56Speaker 3: This is it.
- 38:57Speaker 6: It is the, I'm taking off. I am calling out sick.
- 39:01Speaker 6: I am making sure I call my friends. Everybody, the
- 39:03Speaker 6: last 20 people that have texted me on my phone,
- 39:06Speaker 6: I'm going to be like, hey, random question. Did you
- 39:09Speaker 6: get to vote today? And do you need me to
- 39:10Speaker 6: pick you up and take you? Because that, when everybody
- 39:14Speaker 6: does that, you're going to see a larger turnout. And
- 39:17Speaker 6: that is what we need. Midterm elections, most people go, ah,
- 39:20Speaker 6: it's not for president. I'm not even showing up. Democrats
- 39:23Speaker 6: bank on that. This is how they win elections typically.
- 39:27Speaker 6: They will run in a primary because even less people
- 39:30Speaker 6: vote in primaries than midterms. And voila, you get an AOC. Voila,
- 39:35Speaker 6: you get Al-Sayed. Voila, you get a Mamdani beating Cuomo.
- 39:40Speaker 6: This is how it happens. So come on, ponte la pila.
- 39:43Speaker 6: Get those batteries in place. Get to the voting booth tomorrow.
- 39:47Speaker 6: I am back with a couple of more things I
- 39:48Speaker 6: want to talk about. Keep it locked right here. It's Valdez.
- 39:50Speaker 3: You already know.
- 39:52Speaker 5: This is America. This is America.
- 40:19Speaker 7: President Donald J.
- 40:22Speaker 3: Trump, Mr.
- 40:23Speaker 12: President, welcome to the program, sir. Well, thank you, Rich,
- 40:42Speaker 12: and thank you for everything.
- 40:43Speaker 11: I know you very well, and I listen, but I
- 40:46Speaker 11: have a lot of people that listen, and they love
- 40:48Speaker 11: your show, and I appreciate it very much.
- 40:51Speaker 6: With programs like America at Night with Rich Valdez and
- 40:54Speaker 6: Donald Trump as a guest, who's going to watch late-night TV?
- 40:56Speaker 3: Come on.
- 40:57Speaker 11: Who would want to? I want to listen to you, Rich,
- 40:59Speaker 11: all the time.
- 41:02Speaker 6: All right, amigos, thank you for listening. It's Rich Valdez
- 41:06Speaker 6: with you tonight. This is America. We do it every night.
- 41:09Speaker 6: And I'm happy to be with you at richvaldez.com for
- 41:12Speaker 6: all the additional information. At Rich Valdez on all of
- 41:15Speaker 6: the social media. And I want to hear from you guys, right?
- 41:20Speaker 6: You just heard President Trump when I had him on
- 41:22Speaker 6: saying he wants to listen to me all the time.
- 41:24Speaker 6: And I'm always grateful for that. Love playing those clips.
- 41:27Speaker 6: But I want to hear from you and you that
- 41:29Speaker 6: listen to this program. So I want to open up
- 41:31Speaker 6: the phone lines for everybody listening. The number is 877-VALDEZ
- 41:33Speaker 6: and the number 1-877-VALDES.
- 41:39Speaker 3: And the number one.
- 41:41Speaker 6: And I want to go over to, let's see, where
- 41:44Speaker 6: do we go? I don't know where we're going, but
- 41:46Speaker 6: we're going and we're going fast. Let's get there.
- 41:51Speaker 2: Tennessee?
- 41:52Speaker 3: All right, I'm all for it. Go for it.
- 41:55Speaker 7: Hey, this is JP from Nashville, Tennessee.
- 41:57Speaker 3: Hey, JP, what's going on, man?
- 41:59Speaker 7: I just saw your post about the cops with the
- 42:03Speaker 7: marijuana test.
- 42:04Speaker 6: Oh, yeah, that was an interesting one. I put that
- 42:06Speaker 6: on my Instagram. That was something that happened here in
- 42:08Speaker 6: New York. Suffolk County Police are now swabbing people's mouths
- 42:13Speaker 6: in order to detect if they've been using marijuana or
- 42:17Speaker 6: fentanyl or cocaine or Xanax or anything else.
- 42:22Speaker 7: First of all, it's a terrible idea. It's going to
- 42:25Speaker 7: stain your system regardless. No matter what you do, it's
- 42:28Speaker 7: going to pop up. So the fact that you can...
- 42:31Speaker 7: pull me over, and now you feel like you can
- 42:34Speaker 7: drug test me, and now you're going to do what?
- 42:36Speaker 7: Take my keys to my car and crush my car?
- 42:39Speaker 3: Yeah, that was crazy.
- 42:40Speaker 6: They call that civil asset forfeiture, where they take your key,
- 42:44Speaker 6: or your car rather, and they crush it like a
- 42:46Speaker 6: tin can. And they're doing that, they're trying to make
- 42:49Speaker 6: a statement, right? They're trying to scare people and say, look,
- 42:51Speaker 6: you better not drive high, you better not be on
- 42:53Speaker 6: any drugs, because we now have these seven devices and
- 42:56Speaker 6: seven police cars where we're going to get you. To me,
- 42:59Speaker 6: the issue became, Is this a civil liberties issue? Not
- 43:03Speaker 6: a question of law and order. I think everybody agrees
- 43:05Speaker 6: we shouldn't drive high. Like you said, what if you
- 43:08Speaker 6: went to a Grateful Dead concert smoking weed yesterday and,
- 43:11Speaker 6: you know, today you're not high, but the marijuana is
- 43:14Speaker 6: still in your system and you might test positive.
- 43:16Speaker 3: Then what?
- 43:16Speaker 1: Right.
- 43:17Speaker 3: That's exactly what's going on.
- 43:18Speaker 7: Are you paying off my car note?
- 43:20Speaker 5: You're right.
- 43:20Speaker 3: Who's paying it off?
- 43:21Speaker 7: On top of that, you know, what else? What else?
- 43:25Speaker 7: Like there's too many different ways. This is a problem
- 43:28Speaker 7: and it needs to be checked. Anybody from New York,
- 43:30Speaker 7: I need to put a stop to this. Who's ever
- 43:32Speaker 7: in office, you need to raise up out of this
- 43:34Speaker 7: or even put in this on paper to come out
- 43:36Speaker 7: to somebody. This is a terrible idea, and it really
- 43:39Speaker 7: needs to be addressed.
- 43:41Speaker 3: 100% right.
- 43:42Speaker 6: Thank you for your call, JP, from Nashville, Tennessee. And listen, man,
- 43:46Speaker 6: I'm in agreement with you. I don't want to see
- 43:48Speaker 6: this law go away, per se. I just want to
- 43:51Speaker 6: make sure that they have some limits on it. Don't
- 43:54Speaker 6: tell me that because... you know, this granny that has
- 43:57Speaker 6: been prescribed a gummy with marijuana in it to sleep
- 44:01Speaker 6: by her doctor, because a lot of doctors are prescribing
- 44:04Speaker 6: cannabis now, and she's going to get a DWI because
- 44:08Speaker 6: she took a gummy last night to sleep, but the
- 44:10Speaker 6: effects have worn off, but it shows in her system. Now,
- 44:13Speaker 6: I know somebody's going to say, well, listen, Rich, you're
- 44:15Speaker 6: not pulling over the 80-year-old abuelita, the grandma. If she's
- 44:19Speaker 6: not swerving on the road, she's not getting pulled over. See,
- 44:22Speaker 6: that's not the point to me. The point is we
- 44:24Speaker 6: have to have laws that benefit the people, right? This
- 44:27Speaker 6: is a government of the people, for the people, by
- 44:28Speaker 6: the people, not a government for the government. And to me,
- 44:32Speaker 6: that is the key distinction here. So it's imperative that
- 44:35Speaker 6: we get this right. And we say, no, you want
- 44:38Speaker 6: to do your gummies? Weed is legal in your state.
- 44:40Speaker 6: Then go right ahead and do your gummies. But guess what?
- 44:43Speaker 6: When you're driving, you can't be high. And if we
- 44:46Speaker 6: test you, you're going to have a problem if you're
- 44:49Speaker 6: over this limit. But if this test can only show
- 44:53Speaker 6: that you at some point in your life, in the
- 44:55Speaker 6: last 30 days, in the last month, have taken a gummy,
- 44:59Speaker 6: have been around marijuana some way, somehow, and you can't
- 45:03Speaker 6: actually improve that there's an active level of this substance
- 45:06Speaker 6: in their bloodstream, impairing them, intoxicating them, influencing them negatively
- 45:12Speaker 6: as they drive, then I got news for you. You
- 45:16Speaker 6: don't have a case. I know a guy who had
- 45:19Speaker 6: a heart attack. His doctor said, you cannot get excited
- 45:23Speaker 6: about anything. You've got to keep your heart rate low.
- 45:25Speaker 6: They've given him medicine to do that. And they said,
- 45:27Speaker 6: if you get panicky, anxiety, angry, whatever it is, here
- 45:31Speaker 6: are Xanax that you can take to calm yourself down.
- 45:35Speaker 6: So you mean to tell me. Now, I understand most
- 45:37Speaker 6: people that take Xanax, it says it right on their bottle.
- 45:41Speaker 6: Do not drive a motor vehicle while you're doing this.
- 45:44Speaker 6: But I had somebody challenge me and say, look, I
- 45:46Speaker 6: have a prescription for Xanax and there's nowhere on this
- 45:48Speaker 6: bottle that says I can't drive while I'm on it. Now,
- 45:50Speaker 6: I can't imagine that. I once was given a Xanax
- 45:53Speaker 6: by my doctor, and I felt like I drank 40
- 45:55Speaker 6: ounces of old English malt.
- 45:57Speaker 3: Liquor really, really fast. That's how quickly it was. I
- 46:00Speaker 3: was giggling and everything.
- 46:01Speaker 6: So, yeah, trust and believe that that stuff is making
- 46:04Speaker 6: you feel impaired. I probably wasn't even walking, let alone driving.
- 46:09Speaker 6: But my point is this is a legitimate question for people.
- 46:14Speaker 6: People are allowed to take medicine. And you should be
- 46:18Speaker 6: allowed to drive. These are rights that we have. The
- 46:20Speaker 6: whole privilege thing is something I hope goes to the
- 46:22Speaker 6: Constitution one day, to the Supreme Court, rather, to be
- 46:26Speaker 6: judged as a constitutional question.
- 46:28Speaker 3: But lo and behold, I.
- 46:31Speaker 6: Agree with you that this rule, this law, this enforcement
- 46:35Speaker 6: has to have a floor and a ceiling. Between this
- 46:38Speaker 6: limit and this limit is what is going to get
- 46:40Speaker 6: you in trouble.
- 46:41Speaker 8: Otherwise.
- 46:42Speaker 6: toss it out the window it's not working and that's
- 46:44Speaker 6: why they're not using it to make their case in
- 46:46Speaker 6: court they're using other things like the the officer's ability
- 46:50Speaker 6: to determine sobriety and whatever you know and hopefully a
- 46:53Speaker 6: blood test that'll make their case a lot more solid
- 46:57Speaker 6: this uh this test is a gimmick more than anything
- 46:59Speaker 6: i think it was good pr for the um uh
- 47:02Speaker 6: the suffolk county police anyway let us continue i want
- 47:08Speaker 6: to go to my buddy todd todd johnson Todd Johnson
- 47:11Speaker 6: is a candidate in Pennsylvania. And he's in the Philly
- 47:16Speaker 6: area where my buddy Mark Levin is from, Cheltenham. And
- 47:19Speaker 6: he's going to join us straight ahead.
- 47:20Speaker 3: Don't go anywhere.
- 47:22Speaker 5: This is America. This is America.
- 47:36Speaker 11: All right, Flamingo.
- 47:46Speaker 4: Welcome back. Early voting is underway in Pennsylvania, and one
- 47:50Speaker 4: of the people that's very familiar to this process, Pastor
- 47:53Speaker 4: Todd Johnson, he's on the ballot, and he's on with
- 47:56Speaker 4: us right now. Pastor, welcome.
- 47:58Speaker 2: Thank you for having me, Rich. It's an honor.
- 48:01Speaker 4: You bet, brother. Always good to hear from you. Now,
- 48:04Speaker 4: let's talk about the state of affairs in Pennsylvania. There's
- 48:07Speaker 4: a lot of elections across the country with the midterms
- 48:09Speaker 4: going on. Talk to me about what's happening in Pennsylvania.
- 48:12Speaker 13: In Pennsylvania, we have several state House and state Senate
- 48:16Speaker 13: races going on. And more importantly, we have a gubernatorial
- 48:20Speaker 13: race going on between which, as you know, our current
- 48:27Speaker 13: governor is Josh Shapiro, and he's running against Stacey Garrity,
- 48:31Speaker 13: who's currently our state treasurer, and she's the endorsed candidate
- 48:35Speaker 13: for the Republican Party. So that is the biggest race
- 48:40Speaker 13: going on right now in Pennsylvania, as well as we
- 48:43Speaker 13: have a slim margin in the state Senate. We have,
- 48:48Speaker 13: I think it's 27 to 23 in terms of Republican
- 48:52Speaker 13: and Democrat. So that could be flipped because there are
- 48:56Speaker 13: a lot of racists that are in contention.
- 48:59Speaker 2: As well as our statehouse, which we have a slim margin.
- 49:04Speaker 4: So talk to me about what's expected, at least from
- 49:08Speaker 4: your perspective. I know Shapiro has a stronghold on things.
- 49:11Speaker 4: Do you think he comes out victorious here?
- 49:14Speaker 2: I hope not.
- 49:14Speaker 13: But again, the polls right now are showing that he
- 49:19Speaker 13: has a, an 8%, 9% margin. Last month, he had
- 49:26Speaker 13: a 13% margin. So that has narrowed. So we're hoping
- 49:30Speaker 13: that the trend will continue over these next 13 days.
- 49:36Speaker 13: So again, we're hopeful that Stacey, she's making a very
- 49:39Speaker 13: good search near the end of her campaign. And so
- 49:45Speaker 13: all things are open right now. So we're not making
- 49:50Speaker 13: any predictions. We're just hoping for the best.
- 49:52Speaker 4: Now, Pastor Todd Johnson, I know that you yourself are
- 49:57Speaker 4: in a race. Talk to me about that.
- 49:59Speaker 13: Yes, I'm running for the state Senate, District 4. I'm
- 50:03Speaker 13: running against an entrenched incumbent who is left of left.
- 50:08Speaker 13: He has been in office for about 12 years now.
- 50:12Speaker 13: His name is Art Haywood. And I debated with him
- 50:15Speaker 13: last night at the NAACP in Sheltonham Township.
- 50:19Speaker 2: So that we debated. This is our third debate that
- 50:22Speaker 2: we've carried.
- 50:23Speaker 13: So I'm in a really tough district because it includes
- 50:26Speaker 13: Philadelphia and a portion of Montgomery County. So, again, it's
- 50:31Speaker 13: a really tough race because in Philadelphia, the voter registration is.
- 50:35Speaker 2: Eight to one.
- 50:36Speaker 13: Democrat to Republican. So we've been fighting every step of
- 50:39Speaker 13: the way. We've raised some money. So we really are
- 50:44Speaker 13: hopeful that towards the end, we will make a really
- 50:47Speaker 13: good surge because every vote that comes from me is
- 50:50Speaker 13: also going to be a vote for the up ballot
- 50:53Speaker 13: for Stacey Garrity.
- 50:55Speaker 4: Now, word on the street is that you did really
- 50:58Speaker 4: well in the debate last night.
- 50:59Speaker 3: Tell us more.
- 51:00Speaker 4: I did.
- 51:01Speaker 13: I called him out on several occasions for his voting record.
- 51:06Speaker 13: And I also called him out to the anti-Semitism that
- 51:11Speaker 13: we see in the Democratic Party. I asked him, would
- 51:16Speaker 13: he refute that? Would he stand with Israel? He did
- 51:20Speaker 13: not commit. I also asked him about defunding the police.
- 51:24Speaker 13: And he also has been protesting ICE. And I said
- 51:28Speaker 13: to him, do you want less police on the street? So,
- 51:31Speaker 13: you know, you want public safety as an issue. He
- 51:33Speaker 13: would not answer. And he got stone faced at one point.
- 51:37Speaker 13: And it really played well because the people who were
- 51:40Speaker 13: there at the debate got a chance to see a
- 51:43Speaker 13: contrast between what they've been voting for and what the
- 51:46Speaker 13: alternative could be.
- 51:48Speaker 7: Of course.
- 51:48Speaker 3: And what he has to offer.
- 51:50Speaker 8: Right.
- 51:50Speaker 2: Which is which is a nothing burger. More taxes.
- 51:55Speaker 3: Talk to us.
- 51:57Speaker 9: Yeah, yeah.
- 51:57Speaker 4: The same old usual suspects doing the same old usual stuff. Now,
- 52:01Speaker 4: Pastor Todd Johnson, I want you to tell me a
- 52:03Speaker 4: little bit about, you mentioned anti-Semitism and, of course, the
- 52:05Speaker 4: tax and spend liberalism that everybody's up against. But when
- 52:09Speaker 4: it comes to the anti-Semitism, to me, this is a
- 52:11Speaker 4: bigger problem of, I think, hate permeating our society a
- 52:17Speaker 4: little bit more than it used to, as well as
- 52:20Speaker 4: just general godlessness becoming more popular.
- 52:24Speaker 3: Your thoughts?
- 52:25Speaker 2: It is.
- 52:26Speaker 13: We see that moving trend when we've been going door-to-door
- 52:30Speaker 13: knocking on and campaigning, we've seen a lot of hatred,
- 52:34Speaker 13: not only for our current president, but we see a
- 52:37Speaker 13: lot of hatred for America as a whole. So they
- 52:41Speaker 13: have been capitalizing on this current hatred for the country
- 52:45Speaker 13: and the constitution and for our commander in chief. So
- 52:49Speaker 13: they have been fueling that. The Democrats have been fueling
- 52:53Speaker 13: that type of hatred because that drives people out to
- 52:56Speaker 13: the polls. But again, we've been trying to run a
- 52:59Speaker 13: campaign where we express love, understanding, compassion. We've also been
- 53:06Speaker 13: running a campaign where we try to get people to see, hey,
- 53:09Speaker 13: you've been voting Democrat for 70 years in Philadelphia.
- 53:12Speaker 2: What have you gotten for your vote?
- 53:15Speaker 13: And they can't point to anything that they've gotten. The
- 53:19Speaker 13: neighborhoods have gotten worse. Crime is getting worse. Public safety
- 53:24Speaker 13: is a big issue. So again, with all these things
- 53:27Speaker 13: going on, Rich, we have seen that Some people who
- 53:31Speaker 13: are staunch Democrats and some who are kind of soft
- 53:34Speaker 13: Democrats have been turning around. I had a lady last
- 53:37Speaker 13: night at the NAACP as I was walking out. She said,
- 53:41Speaker 13: I never wrote a Republican before, but I'm going to
- 53:43Speaker 13: vote for you.
- 53:46Speaker 9: Nice.
- 53:46Speaker 2: It was amazing.
- 53:47Speaker 4: Folks, we're on with Pastor Todd Johnson, running for the
- 53:50Speaker 4: state Senate, representing Cheltenham Township in Philadelphia. Now, Pastor Todd,
- 53:56Speaker 4: talk to me about the other races. I know you're
- 53:58Speaker 4: following the politics across the country. There's a lot of
- 54:01Speaker 4: races from Texas with Tallarico to Michigan with El Sayed.
- 54:06Speaker 4: We've got the governor's race in New York with Kathy Hochul.
- 54:08Speaker 4: Talk to me about some of those races, you know,
- 54:10Speaker 4: how you handicap them from your perspective, from where you are.
- 54:13Speaker 13: From where I'm sitting in the great state, our great
- 54:16Speaker 13: Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, I have seen a shift in the atmosphere.
- 54:21Speaker 13: We're hopeful that Byron Donalds will emerge as the victor
- 54:26Speaker 13: in Florida.
- 54:27Speaker 2: Yeah, no question. Yeah, the races across the state.
- 54:31Speaker 13: We hope that John James is successful in Michigan. So again,
- 54:36Speaker 13: we're seeing an emergence of minorities who are running for
- 54:42Speaker 13: high office. Stacey Garrity came to my headquarters last month
- 54:47Speaker 13: and we drove her around the Hispanic and Black communities
- 54:52Speaker 13: because a lot of times those communities don't see candidates
- 54:56Speaker 13: from the Republican Party and what they have to offer.
- 54:58Speaker 13: So We had a chance to take her around Philadelphia
- 55:02Speaker 13: and portions of Montgomery County. So again, I'm hopeful that
- 55:06Speaker 13: other candidates around the country will take that formula and
- 55:10Speaker 13: go to places where they've been written off. Oh, we
- 55:12Speaker 13: can't win in that district or we can't win in that.
- 55:15Speaker 13: Go anyway and show your face to the people and
- 55:18Speaker 13: let the people know that there is an alternative and
- 55:20Speaker 13: that there is a better way than what they've been
- 55:23Speaker 13: offered by the Democratic Party.
- 55:24Speaker 4: Now, Pastor Dodd, final point to you. I want to
- 55:27Speaker 4: ask you, um, Todd Johnson, is this. There are people
- 55:30Speaker 4: that are going to go to the polls, whether it's
- 55:32Speaker 4: now in early voting or in the next couple of days,
- 55:36Speaker 4: in the next week and a half, two weeks. And
- 55:39Speaker 4: you've been out there pressing the flesh, having the debates,
- 55:44Speaker 4: knocking on the doors. There are people that are listening
- 55:46Speaker 4: to this that have to go and vote. And many
- 55:48Speaker 4: of them are saying, I don't want to go vote.
- 55:50Speaker 4: I don't like this war in Iran. I don't like
- 55:52Speaker 4: having to pay more for gas. I don't like what's
- 55:55Speaker 4: going on. Trump said no new wars. What do you
- 55:57Speaker 4: say to those people?
- 55:59Speaker 13: I say to all of those people, your vote counts
- 56:01Speaker 13: and your vote is your voice. So that if you
- 56:04Speaker 13: want a voice in the democratic process or a democracy,
- 56:08Speaker 13: if you want a voice in our constitutional republic, go
- 56:11Speaker 13: out and vote.
- 56:12Speaker 2: You owe it to yourself.
- 56:13Speaker 13: You owe it to those who went before you and
- 56:16Speaker 13: some of them who sacrificed their very lives to vote.
- 56:19Speaker 13: You owe it to them and you owe it to
- 56:21Speaker 13: your children and grandchildren and nieces and nephews and coworkers
- 56:24Speaker 13: and neighbors. You owe it not just to yourself, but
- 56:27Speaker 13: to all the people who you come in contact with
- 56:30Speaker 13: to go out and.
- 56:31Speaker 2: To vote because your vote is your voice.
- 56:34Speaker 13: It's one thing to bicker and complain, but it's another
- 56:37Speaker 13: thing to go out and actually vote for the candidate
- 56:39Speaker 13: of your choice. And so I would urge everyone who's
- 56:42Speaker 13: listening to this program, if you had to do by
- 56:44Speaker 13: mail-in ballot, absentee ballot, or if you want to go
- 56:48Speaker 13: to the polls and vote in person, please, please, madam, please, sir,
- 56:52Speaker 13: go out and vote. And if you don't have a
- 56:53Speaker 13: way to get out to vote, call someone to come
- 56:56Speaker 13: and pick you up and take you to vote, if
- 56:58Speaker 13: that's the case.
- 56:58Speaker 3: Outstanding.
- 56:59Speaker 4: Pastor Todd Johnson, let everybody know how they can find
- 57:02Speaker 4: you and help you out.
- 57:03Speaker 2: Yes. You can go to toddjohnsonforsenate.com. That's toddjohnsonforsenate.com.
- 57:09Speaker 13: And when you go on that site, it'll guide you
- 57:11Speaker 13: to if you want to make a contribution or if
- 57:13Speaker 13: you want to volunteer your time to knock on doors,
- 57:16Speaker 13: it'll direct you to where you would like to go.
- 57:18Speaker 13: But I want to thank you, Rich, for this opportunity
- 57:21Speaker 13: as we look upward and onward to our election.
- 57:24Speaker 4: Amen to that, brother. Godspeed to you, Pastor Todd Johnson.
- 57:26Speaker 4: Thanks for the call. Thanks for the visit. And good
- 57:29Speaker 4: luck with the election.
- 57:30Speaker 2: Thank you. You have a blessed day.
- 57:33Speaker 6: You too, Pastor. Thank you so much. And amigos, this is, again,
- 57:37Speaker 6: people have been out there casting their votes. This is
- 57:40Speaker 6: the fight of all fights. How are we going to
- 57:43Speaker 6: end up? Where does this go? I think the answer
- 57:46Speaker 6: lies with each of us, right? What are we willing
- 57:48Speaker 6: to do? How are we going to do it? Are
- 57:50Speaker 6: we going to get to those polls? Are we going
- 57:51Speaker 6: to turn out in record number? Or are we going
- 57:53Speaker 6: to have a Democrat Congress, maybe a Republican Senate, multiple
- 57:59Speaker 6: impeachments of Donald Trump stifling his ability to do anything domestically,
- 58:04Speaker 6: and he's just going to continue with his foreign policy
- 58:06Speaker 6: because Congress doesn't dictate foreign policy. And that may very
- 58:10Speaker 6: likely be the case. If people don't turn.
- 58:13Speaker 3: Out and vote.
- 58:15Speaker 6: This is why I say you got to stand for something.
- 58:17Speaker 6: Reagan said it best. We have to be informed patriots.
- 58:20Speaker 6: We got to know what we're talking about. Know what
- 58:22Speaker 6: we're voting for. Because if we don't stand for something.
- 58:25Speaker 6: We'll fall for anything. And the only thing necessary for
- 58:29Speaker 6: evil to triumph. Is for good people like you to
- 58:31Speaker 6: sit there and do nothing. So do something. You know
- 58:35Speaker 6: what to do. It's election day tomorrow. I'll be back
- 58:38Speaker 6: tomorrow night. Giving you the play by play on the
- 58:40Speaker 6: results that are in. We're doing the show a little
- 58:42Speaker 6: bit later tomorrow night at 10 p.m. So hasta la proxima.
- 58:46Speaker 3: Take care. Good night. And God bless you, America. I'm
- 58:48Speaker 3: Rich Valdez, and this is America.
- 58:55Speaker 5: This is America.
- 59:00Speaker 8: Thank you.
- 59:33Speaker 3: Thank you.
