- 0:00Welcome to another edition of the Urantia Radio podcast.
- 0:03I am a longtime reader and student and fellow in studying
- 0:07the. 5th Epical. Revelation, the Urantia book,
- 0:10and in this episode, we're going to begin to.
- 0:13Talk about the apostles. And read from the Urantia book,
- 0:16particularly one paper 139, and delve into who these unique
- 0:21personalities were. They were part of the initial
- 0:23team that Jesus had assembled when he went about undertaking
- 0:28the public tour the final years. Of his life.
- 0:31These were his best friends. These were his.
- 0:33Brothers. These were the ambassadors of
- 0:36the Kingdom that Jesus. Brought to the world.
- 0:40And I think that you'll find it a very fascinating read.
- 0:42As a matter of fact, it is of historical note that two, maybe
- 0:463 of the people involved in the early printing and then the
- 0:50promotion of the Urantia. Book say that.
- 0:54For a long time, in reading and studying the book, they weren't
- 0:57convinced it was an authentic revelation until they read.
- 1:01What we're about to. Read today Paper 139 the.
- 1:04Apostles of Jesus. And we'll start with two
- 1:06definitively interesting. Characters The youngest apostle
- 1:12and the last apostle. John Zebedee and.
- 1:16Judas Iscariot when we. Continue in just a moment on the
- 1:19Urantia. Radio Podcast.

- 3:23Way where you can. Save a website.
- 3:26On your home screen, on your iPhone and all you have.
- 3:28To do is scroll. Down to the bottom and there's a
- 3:31little. Square or.
- 3:32Rectangle with an. With an arrow.
- 3:35That points up and if you hit that button and you're on a web.
- 3:38Page it'll ask if. You want to save it to your home
- 3:41screen and then. That way you don't have to keep
- 3:44entering in the. The web web address you.
- 3:46Just see the icon and that's how I do it and it's.
- 3:49The Urantia Radio Podcast. And that's all it.
- 3:52Is it's. Got a little bit of information
- 3:54on some things and I'll post articles there from time to
- 3:57time, but. All of the podcasts are there.
- 4:00I'm going to archive. Every one of them there for
- 4:04perpetuity, and it's your rancher radio.
- 4:08Dot org your rancherradio.org. That is the new web platform.
- 4:14That is the. Holding pin for all.
- 4:16Of these podcasts and we have well over. 150.
- 4:20Podcasts. That have been.
- 4:22Created over the past few years, we're.
- 4:24Growing exponentially. I find it interesting that.
- 4:28Two pivotal people involved. In the Urantia.
- 4:31Book Doctor William Sadler, of course he.
- 4:34And his wife Elena were very, very instrumental and making it
- 4:39possible the conditions that eventuated in the Urantia book.
- 4:44Being published, but what? People may not know is that for
- 4:50a long time, Doctor William Sadler did not wholly believe in
- 4:55the. Authenticity of the Urantia.
- 4:57Book as a revelation. He knew.
- 4:59He knew he had something special, but he didn't
- 5:03understand and. He was a critic.
- 5:06I mean, he was a very. Critical guy, this guy.
- 5:08Would go around and you know back then in the 1920s and 30s
- 5:12mediumship. Was a very popular.
- 5:15Form of entertainment. People would go watch people
- 5:18like Edgar Cayce and. You know, even all the
- 5:20magicians, Houdini, many of these people.
- 5:24In fact, I think I read somewhere that Houdini was
- 5:26actually shown the Urantia book and asked what he thought, and I
- 5:30don't know what he. Said but I.
- 5:32Do know that there? Was a lot of.
- 5:33Skepticism about the Urantia book and Doctor William Sadler
- 5:40admitted that for many, many. Years he had doubts like could
- 5:44this really be what it what it says it is?
- 5:48And he said that. The turning of events was when
- 5:51he. Read and.
- 5:52Started receiving the papers on. The apostles and he.
- 5:57Was free, pretty fluent in the Bible and the.
- 6:01Gospels particularly, but he said that the way that the
- 6:07Urantia book described the the apostles.
- 6:10And in Paper 139. In The Life and Teachings of
- 6:13Jesus, section of the Urantia Book Papers, 139.
- 6:18They dedicate that whole paper to the 12 apostles.
- 6:23And to my knowledge, this would be the first time in literature.
- 6:29That you would have. Such an expose.
- 6:32Of the. Apostles and their lives.
- 6:34We don't know really much other than what the Bible.
- 6:37Tells us about the. Apostles we can speculate and
- 6:43maybe the Urantia. Book is.
- 6:44Speculating, but when you. Read the words.
- 6:47It becomes clear that the person who wrote.
- 6:50These particular chapters must. Have had some insight.
- 6:53That that we just. Don't know and, and, and the
- 6:57other person that was also convinced of the Urantia Book's
- 7:00authenticity as a revelation was none other than Doctor Meredith
- 7:06Sprunger. And for those who know, Doctor
- 7:08Meredith Sprunger, for many years from the early 60s, he
- 7:12actually became friends with William.
- 7:14Sadler but. It was by the condition that he
- 7:17and fellow ministers had gone to Chicago.
- 7:21To question Doctor Sadler. On the book that he had become
- 7:26familiar with because Meredith Sprunger was.
- 7:29Also very skeptical. Took him almost a year from the
- 7:34time his friend Judge Hammerschmidt gave him a copy of
- 7:39the book and said, what do you think of this?
- 7:41And he was a minister at that time.
- 7:43And I believe he had a a church in South Bend Anyway, for years
- 7:50and years. Meredith Sprunger.
- 7:52Actually took the torch. In many ways from William Sadler
- 7:56and integrated it into his his sermons.
- 8:00I'm not telling the. The people, of course, but he
- 8:03would be very subtle. But he would integrate some of
- 8:06the Urantia truths from the lies and teachings of Jesus into his,
- 8:11into his. Speeches so this.
- 8:16Should tell you something. About the power.
- 8:19Of the Urantia book, and particularly since both of those
- 8:21gentlemen actually were convinced of the authenticity.
- 8:26Of the Urantia. Book as a revelation after
- 8:28reading. The Apostles, so I.
- 8:32Thought it would be an interesting thing to maybe read
- 8:35about John Zebedee and Judas Iscariot 2 extreme.
- 8:39Opposites of the Apostles. And then perhaps we'll get into
- 8:42some of the. Other apostles later.
- 8:44And then at some point I would. Like to read the?
- 8:47Urantia Books. Interpretation.
- 8:49Of the Gospels. And how they came to be, because
- 8:52I find that also very fascinating, especially for
- 8:55Christians who want to. Delve a little deeper into
- 9:00Scripture. And find out a little bit more
- 9:02about these incredible 12 men that.
- 9:06Jesus chose to. Carry his message to the world.
- 9:10So let us begin. Then from paper 139 and Section
- 9:134, we read about John Zebedee when he became an apostle.
- 9:18John was 24 years. Old, and he was.
- 9:20The youngest. Of the 12.
- 9:22He was unmarried and lived with his parents in Beseda.
- 9:25He was a fisherman and. Worked with his brother.
- 9:27James in partnership with. Andrew and Peter.
- 9:31Both before and after becoming an apostle, John functioned as
- 9:35the personal agent of Jesus in dealing with the master's
- 9:38family, and he continued to bear this responsibility as long as
- 9:42Mary, the mother of Jesus, lived since John was the youngest of
- 9:47the 12 and so closely. Associated with Jesus.
- 9:50And his family affairs. He was very dear.
- 9:53To the Master, but it cannot be truthfully.
- 9:56Said that he was quote the disciple.
- 9:58Whom Jesus loved. That's from a quote in the
- 10:01Bible. You would hardly suspect such.
- 10:05A magnanimous personality. As Jesus to be.
- 10:08Guilty of showing favoritism, of loving one of his apostles more
- 10:12than the. Others the fact that.
- 10:13John was one of the three personal aides of Jesus lent
- 10:17further color to this mistaken idea.
- 10:20Not to mention that John, along with his brother James, had
- 10:23known Jesus longer than the others.
- 10:27Peter, James and John were assigned as personal aides to
- 10:30Jesus soon after they became apostles.
- 10:32Shortly after the. Selection of the 12 and at the
- 10:35time Jesus appointed Andrew. To act as the director of the
- 10:39group. He said to him, now I.
- 10:42Desire that you assign two or three of your associates.
- 10:45To be with me and to remain by my side, to comfort me and to
- 10:50minister to my daily needs. And Andrew thought.
- 10:53Best to select for this special duty.
- 10:56The next three first chosen apostles he would have liked to.
- 11:01Volunteer for such a. Blessed service himself, but the
- 11:04Master had already given him his Commission, so he immediately.
- 11:09Directed that Peter. James and John attached
- 11:12themselves to Jesus. John Zebedee had many lovely.
- 11:17Traits of character, but. One which was not.
- 11:19So lovely was his. Inordinate but usually well
- 11:23concealed conceit, his long association with Jesus made many
- 11:28and great changes in his character.
- 11:30This conceit was greatly lessened, but after.
- 11:34Growing old and becoming more or less childish, this self esteem
- 11:37reappeared to a certain extent, so that when engaged in
- 11:41directing Nathan in the writing of the Gospels which now bears
- 11:44his name, the aged apostle did not hesitate.
- 11:48Repeatedly to refer to himself as the disciple.
- 11:51Whom Jesus loved, in view of the fact that John came nearer to
- 11:57being the chum of Jesus than any other mortal.
- 12:00That he was his. Chosen personal representative
- 12:03in so many matters, it is not strange that he should have come
- 12:06to regard. Himself as the disciple.
- 12:08Who whom Jesus loved, since he most certainly knew he was the.
- 12:13He was the disciple. When whom?
- 12:15Jesus so frequently trusted the. Strongest trait in John's
- 12:20character was his dependability he was prompt and courageous,
- 12:26faithful and. Devoted, his greatest.
- 12:30Weakness was this characteristic conceit.
- 12:33He was the youngest member of his father's family and the
- 12:36youngest of the Apostolic. Group.
- 12:38Perhaps he was just a bit spoiled.
- 12:40Maybe. He had been humoured slightly
- 12:42too much, but the John of after. Years was a very.
- 12:45Different type of person than the self admiring and arbitrary
- 12:50young man who joined the ranks of.
- 12:52Jesus as apostles. When he was 20.
- 12:54Four those characteristics of Jesus, which.
- 12:58John most appreciated were the Master's love and unselfishness.
- 13:04These traits made such an impression on him.
- 13:07That his whole subsequent. Life became dominated by the
- 13:10sentiment of love and brotherly. Devotion, he talked about.
- 13:16Love and wrote about love this son of Thunder became the.
- 13:20Apostle of love. And at Ephesus, when the aged
- 13:24Bishop was no longer able to stand in the pulpit and preach.
- 13:29But had to be carried to a. Church and a chair and when at
- 13:32the. Close of the service, he was
- 13:34asked to say a few words to the believers.
- 13:36For years his only utterance was my little children love one
- 13:42another. John was a man of.
- 13:44Few words. Except when his temper.
- 13:46Was aroused. He thought much.
- 13:49But said little as he grew older.
- 13:51His temper became more subdued, better controlled, but he never
- 13:55overcame his disinclination to talk.
- 13:58He never fully mastered this reticence.
- 14:02But he was gifted. With a remarkable and creative
- 14:05imagination, there was another side to John that one would not
- 14:10expect to find in this quiet and introspective type.
- 14:14He was somewhat bigoted and inordinately intolerant.
- 14:18In this respect. He and James were much alike.
- 14:21They both wanted to call down fire from heaven on the.
- 14:24Heads of the disrespectful. Samaritans.
- 14:29When John encountered some strangers teaching in Jesus's
- 14:32name, he promptly forbade them. But he was not the only one of
- 14:37the 12 who was tainted with this kind of self esteem and
- 14:41superiority consciousness. John's life was tremendously
- 14:46influenced. By the sight.
- 14:48Of Jesus going about without a home, as he knew how faithfully
- 14:53he had made provisions for the care of his mother and family.
- 14:57John also deeply sympathized. With Jesus because of.
- 15:00His family's failure to understand him being aware.
- 15:04That they were gradually. Withdrawing from him this
- 15:08entire. Situation together with Jesus's
- 15:11ever. Deferring his slightest.
- 15:12Wish to the will of the. Father in Heaven and his daily
- 15:16life of implicit trust made such a profound impression on John
- 15:22that it produced market and permanent changes in his
- 15:25character, changes which manifested themselves throughout
- 15:29his entire subsequent life. John had a cool and daring
- 15:33courage which. Few of the other apostles
- 15:36possessed he was the. Only one who followed right
- 15:40along with Jesus at the night of his arrest and dared to
- 15:43accompany his Master into the very.
- 15:45Jaws of death. He was present and near at hand.
- 15:49Right up to the last earthly hour.
- 15:52And was found faithfully carrying out his trust.
- 15:55With regard to Jesus. 'S mother and ready to receive.
- 15:58Such. Additional instructions as might
- 16:01be given during the last moments of the Master's mortal
- 16:04existence. One thing is certain, John was
- 16:08thoroughly dependable. John usually sat on Jesus's
- 16:12right hand when the 12 were at meet.
- 16:16He was the first of the 12, really.
- 16:18And fully to believe in the resurrection.
- 16:21And he was. The first to.
- 16:22Recognize the master when he came to them on the.
- 16:25Seashore after his resurrection. This son of Zebedee.
- 16:29Was very closely associated. With Peter in the early.
- 16:32Activities of the Christian. Movement becoming one of the.
- 16:36Chief supporters of the. Jerusalem Church.
- 16:40He was the right hand support of Peter.
- 16:41On the day. Of Pentecost several years.
- 16:45After the martyrdom of James, John married.
- 16:48His brother's widow. The last 20 years of his life.
- 16:51He was cared for. By a loving granddaughter, John
- 16:56was imprisoned several times and was banished.
- 17:00To the Isle of. Patmos for a.
- 17:01Period of four years. Until another emperor came to
- 17:05power in Rome, had not John been tactful and sagacious, he would
- 17:11undoubtedly have been killed. As.
- 17:13Was his more outspoken brother James.
- 17:17As the years passed. John together with James.
- 17:19The Lord's brother. Learned to practice wise
- 17:22conciliation when they. Appeared before the Civil.
- 17:25Magistrates, they found that a soft.
- 17:28Answer turns away wrath. They also learned to represent
- 17:32the. Church as a spiritual
- 17:34brotherhood devoted to the social service.
- 17:36Of mankind rather than as the Kingdom of heaven.
- 17:41They taught loving service rather than ruling power,
- 17:44Kingdom and king. When in temporary exile on
- 17:48Patmos, John wrote the Book of Revelation, which you now have
- 17:53in greatly abridged and distorted form.
- 17:56This Book of Revelation contains the surviving fragments.
- 18:00Of a great revelation large. Portions of which were lost,
- 18:04other portions of which were removed subsequent to John's
- 18:08writing. It is preserved.
- 18:10Only in fragmentary and adulterated form.
- 18:14John traveled much, labored incessantly, and after becoming
- 18:18Bishop. Of the Asia churches settled
- 18:21down at Ephesus, he directed his associate.
- 18:25Nathan in the writing. Of the so-called Gospel.
- 18:28According to John Ataphysus when he was 99 years old.
- 18:33Of all the 12 apostles. John Zebedee eventually became
- 18:36the outstanding theologian. He died a natural death
- 18:39Ataphysus in AD one O 3 when he was 101 years of age.
- 18:46So there you have. The more complete story of John
- 18:49Zebedee the. Disciple that Jesus loved.
- 18:52Now, in a minute, we're going to take another turn and take a
- 18:55look at another. Apostle Judas Iscariot We'll
- 18:59take a brief music. Interlude and then continue on
- 19:03with our examination. Of the apostles.
- 19:05In the Urantia book. All right, let's get into.
- 19:40The story of Judas the 12th apostle.
- 19:44This is sort. Of the first time that we've.
- 19:45Ever, actually. Taken a look at.
- 19:47The apostles themselves. And how the urantia?
- 19:49Book describes these unique characters that were a part of
- 19:54basically Jesus's team. This was the team that he
- 19:58assembled. It's a wonderful.
- 19:59Story it's. So much more full than what you
- 20:03might pick up in the. Scripture.
- 20:07Makes it more interesting I think and certainly a more
- 20:11thought provoking approach to who these men were, the
- 20:14challenges they faced. Their relationship with Jesus
- 20:17was unique. That's one good thing about this
- 20:20paper 139 is that it goes into the relationships that.
- 20:24The each of the apostles had and the appeal to each of their
- 20:29hearts. So then, let us read from Paper
- 20:32139, section 12 on. Judas Iscariot Judas Iscariot,
- 20:38the 12th Apostle. Was chosen by Nathaniel.
- 20:41He was born in Kirioth, a small town in southern Judea.
- 20:46When he was a lad, his parents moved to Jericho.
- 20:49Where he lived. And had been employed in his
- 20:51father's various business enterprises until he became
- 20:55interested in the preachings and the work of John the.
- 20:58Baptist Judas's parents were Sadducees.
- 21:02And when their son joined John's disciples, they disowned him
- 21:08when Nathaniel met. Judas at Terekia.
- 21:12He was seeking employment with a fish drawing enterprise at the
- 21:17lowest end. Of the sea of Galilee he was 30
- 21:21years of. Age and unmarried when he joined
- 21:23the Apostles. He was probably the best
- 21:25educated. Man among the 12 and the only
- 21:29Judean in the Masters Apostolic family.
- 21:33Judas had no outstanding trait of personal strength, though he
- 21:37had many outwardly appearing traits of culture and habits of
- 21:41training. He was a good thinker, but not
- 21:44always a truly honest thinker. Judas did not really understand
- 21:49himself and he was not really sincere in dealing with himself.
- 21:55Andrew appointed. Judas, Treasurer of the 12A
- 21:58position. Which he eminently.
- 22:01Was fitted to hold. And up to the time of the
- 22:04betrayal of his master. He discharged the
- 22:06responsibilities of his office. Honestly, faithfully, and most
- 22:11efficiently. There was no special trait about
- 22:15Jesus. Which Judas?
- 22:16Admired above the generally attractive and exquisitely
- 22:20charming personality of the master, Judas was never able to.
- 22:25Rise above his. Judean prejudices against his
- 22:29Galilean associates. He would even criticize in his
- 22:33mind many things about Jesus, Him whom 11 of the apostles
- 22:37looked upon as the perfect man, as the one quote, one altogether
- 22:42lovely and the chiefest among 10,000.
- 22:45This self satisfied. Judean often dared to criticize
- 22:49in his own. Heart he really.
- 22:51Entertained the notion that Jesus was timid and somewhat
- 22:55afraid to assert his own power and authority.
- 23:00Judas was a good. Businessman.
- 23:02It required tact, ability and patience, as well as painstaking
- 23:06devotion to manage the financial affairs of such an idealist as
- 23:10Jesus, to say nothing of wrestling.
- 23:13With the helter skelter. Business method.
- 23:15Of some of his apostles, Judas was a great executive a far.
- 23:20Seeing and able financier and he.
- 23:23Was a stickler for. Organization.
- 23:26None of the 12. Ever criticized Judas as far as
- 23:30they could see Judas Iscariot? Was a matchless treasurer, a
- 23:34learned man, a loyal though, sometimes.
- 23:37Critical Apostle. And at every sense of.
- 23:40The world a great success. The apostles loved Judas.
- 23:45He was. Really one of them.
- 23:46He must have believed in Jesus. But.
- 23:49We doubt rather he. Really loved the Master.
- 23:52With a whole heart, the case of Judas illustrates the.
- 23:56Truthfulness of the saying. There is a way that.
- 23:59Seems right to a man, but the end.
- 24:01Thereof is death. It is altogether possible to
- 24:05fall. Victim to the peaceful deception
- 24:08of pleasant adjustment. To the paths.
- 24:10Of sin and death. Be assured that Judas was.
- 24:15Always financially loyal to his master and his fellow.
- 24:19Apostles. Money could never have been the
- 24:21motive. For his betrayal.
- 24:23Of the master, Judas was an only son of unwise parents.
- 24:29When very young, he was pampered and petted.
- 24:31He was a spoiled child. As he grew up, he had
- 24:34exaggerated ideas about his. Self importance.
- 24:38He was a poor loser, he had. Loose and distorted ideas about
- 24:42fairness. He was given to the indulgence
- 24:45of hate and suspicion. He was an expert at
- 24:48misinterpretation of the. Words and acts.
- 24:51Of his friends. All through his life, Judas had
- 24:54cultivated the habit of. Getting even with those whom he
- 24:58fancied had mistreated him. His sense of values.
- 25:02And loyalties was defective to Jesus.
- 25:07Judas was a faith. Adventure from the beginning of
- 25:11the Master fully understood the weakness of this apostle, and
- 25:16well knew the dangers of admitting him.
- 25:18To Fellowship. But it is the nature of the
- 25:21sons. Of God to give.
- 25:23Every created being a full and equal chance for salvation and.
- 25:28Survival, Jesus. Wanted not only the mortals of
- 25:31this world, but the onlookers of innumerable other worlds to know
- 25:36that when doubts exist as to the sincerity and wholeheartedness.
- 25:40Of a creature's. Devotion to the Kingdom.
- 25:43It is the invariable. Practice of the judges.
- 25:45Of men fully to receive the doubtful candidate, the door of
- 25:51eternal. Life is wide.
- 25:52Open to all, quote whosoever will may come.
- 25:57There are no restrictions or qualifications, save.
- 25:59The faith of. The one who comes.
- 26:03This is just the. Reason why Jesus permitted Judas
- 26:06to go on to the very end, always doing everything possible to
- 26:10transform and save this week and confused.
- 26:13Apostle. But when light is not honestly
- 26:16received and lived up to, it tends to become darkness within
- 26:21the soul. Judas grew intellectually
- 26:25regarding Jesus's teachings about the Kingdom, but he did
- 26:28not make progress in the achievement.
- 26:30Of spiritual character, as did the other apostles, he.
- 26:34Failed to make satisfactory personal progress in spiritual
- 26:38experience. Judas became increasingly a
- 26:42brooder over personal disappointments, and finally he
- 26:46became a victim of resentment. His feelings had been many times
- 26:50hurt and he grew abnormally. Suspicious of his best.
- 26:54Friends even of the master. Presently he became obsessed
- 26:58with the idea of getting even anything to avenge himself.
- 27:02Yes, even betrayal. Of the.
- 27:04Associates and the master. But these?
- 27:07Wicked and dangerous ideas did not take definite shape until
- 27:11the day when a grateful woman broke an expensive box of
- 27:16incense. At Jesus's feet.
- 27:18This seemed. Wasteful to Judas?
- 27:21And when his? Public protest was so.
- 27:23Sweepingly disallowed. By Jesus right there.
- 27:26In the hearing of. All it was too.
- 27:29Much that event determined the mobilization of all the
- 27:33accumulated hate, hurt, malice, prejudice, jealousy, and
- 27:37revenge. Of a lifetime.
- 27:40And he made-up in his mind to get even with he knew not whom.
- 27:45But he crystallized all of the evil of his.
- 27:47Nature upon the one innocent person in all the sort of drama
- 27:52of his unfortunate. Life just because Jesus.
- 27:55Happened to be. The chief actor.
- 27:58In the episode which marked his passing from the progressive
- 28:01Kingdom of Light into that self chosen domain of darkness, the
- 28:07Master many times, both privately and publicly, had
- 28:10warned Judas. That he was slipping.
- 28:13But divine warnings are usually useless in dealing with
- 28:16embittered human nature. Jesus did everything possible
- 28:20consistent with man's moral freedom to prevent Judas's
- 28:24choosing to go the wrong. Way the great test.
- 28:27Finally came the son of resentment failed he.
- 28:30Yielded to the sour. And sordid dictates of a proud
- 28:35and vengeful mind of exaggerated self importance and swiftly
- 28:39plunged on down into confusion, despair and depravity.
- 28:45Judas then entered into the base and shameful.
- 28:48Intrigue to betray the Lord, his Lord.
- 28:51And master and quickly carried the nefarious scheme into effect
- 28:56during the outworking of his anger conceived plans of
- 28:59traitorious betrayal. He.
- 29:01Experienced moments of regret and shame, and in these lucid
- 29:07intervals he faint heartedly conceived as a defense in his
- 29:11own mind. The idea that Jesus.
- 29:13Might. Possibly exert his power.
- 29:16And deliver himself at the last minute, when the sordid and
- 29:21sinful business. Was all over this.
- 29:23Renegade mortal who thought lightly of selling his friend.
- 29:27For 30 pieces of silver to satisfy his.
- 29:30Long nursed, craving for revenge, rushed out and
- 29:34committed the final act in the drama of fleeing from the
- 29:37realities of mortal existence, suicide, the 11.
- 29:41Apostles were horrified. Stunned, Jesus regarded the
- 29:46betrayal only with pity. The world's have found it
- 29:49difficult to forgive Judas. And his name has become eschewed
- 29:55throughout a far-flung universe. Now, that's not a legacy I would
- 29:59want to have, but you can see from the elegance and and the.
- 30:05Phraseology of of these. Descriptions of the apostles
- 30:08that they come across wholly authentic.
- 30:12I can see why. People of great.
- 30:14Religious education and faith, namely Dr. William Sadler and
- 30:19also Meredith Sprunger, would have been captivated and
- 30:22convinced. By these papers about the 12
- 30:26apostles. And we may again venture into
- 30:29this. Let me know if you like these.
- 30:31Short readings of the apostles. I think it'd be great to go.
- 30:34Through each one of them, I think each one.
- 30:36Deserves a second look. Much of their lives and the
- 30:39truths of their lives and the. Relationship with Jesus has been
- 30:42lost through. The sands of time, and I enjoy
- 30:46reading them. So we'll take a break here.
- 30:48We'll see you. Again on the.
- 30:50Other side of the. Episodes As we continue with the
- 30:53Urantia Radio podcast, Just Remember Your Rancher.
