Speaker 1: Wow, what's up everybody. Welcome to another edition of the
• 0:13
Speaker 1: NFL Fantasy Football Show. It's me and your man named
• 0:16
Speaker 1: g Marcus Grant, joined by Michael f Florio and Lakwan Jones.
• 0:20
Speaker 1: I've learned something in the last several minutes before we
• 0:22
Speaker 1: started the show today. We have been saying berg Fest
• 0:25
Speaker 1: for Wednesday. I've been told via our producer Hythan Kalani.
• 0:29
Speaker 2: Now he minij you. He just googled it, which is
• 0:31
Speaker 2: something we probably could have done.
• 0:32
Speaker 1: Mouch a bird fight right that Apparently the German word
• 0:36
Speaker 1: for Wednesday is like midwalk mitwalk, and berg Fest just
• 0:40
Speaker 1: means mountain festival. So we've been led astray.
• 0:45
  Speaker 2: Wow.
• 0:45
Speaker 3: All right, thanks chat for saying that in the comments
• 0:48
Speaker 3: and making me think that Wednesday is burfast.
• 0:50
Speaker 1: At least it wasn't something vulgar that we've been seeing
• 0:52
Speaker 1: on air, like mountains I like to think of Germany.
• 0:54
Speaker 2: They're just like, why are these guys celebrating the mountains
• 0:58
Speaker 2: midle of the week?
• 1:00
Speaker 1: Still it anyway, we are gonna be looking ahead to
• 1:04
Speaker 1: the weekend here on this show today, we've got your
• 1:07
Speaker 1: starts and sits for your playoff semi finals. Well dive
• 1:10
Speaker 1: into these Sunday night and Monday night games, plus some
• 1:12
Speaker 1: bold predictions, and we're gonna ask cam Wolf if he
• 1:15
Speaker 1: thinks the Raiders can crack the Houston Texans defense. But first,
• 1:20
Speaker 1: as always, got our starts and sins. You can read
• 1:22
Speaker 1: Michael f. Florio's column at NFL dot com slash Start.
• 1:26
Speaker 2: Sit getting done at the Anni. Look one more of
• 1:29
Speaker 2: them left after this? Right? That's badly, yeah, aadly it's
• 1:34
Speaker 2: flown by. Its absolutely flown by.
• 1:35
Speaker 1: But let's look at the quarterbacks. Who was on your
• 1:38
Speaker 1: start list? Who is on your sit list?
• 1:41
Speaker 2: Marcus? I d the article, I quote you, and as
• 1:43
Speaker 2: Marcus likes to say, and forget it like he's must started.
• 1:47
Speaker 2: He gets the Bengals next week. Great matchup this week.
• 1:50
Speaker 2: I really like Jared Goff, who, just like Jamison Williams,
• 1:55
Speaker 2: is excelling with Dan Campbell as a play caller. He's
• 1:57
Speaker 2: averaging nineteen Fantasy points per game since Campbell has taken
• 2:01
Speaker 2: over Jordan Love. Look, I like the matchup. The style
• 2:04
Speaker 2: of defense the Bears run is one that is favorable
• 2:06
Speaker 2: for Jordan Love and this worked two weeks ago. So
• 2:09
Speaker 2: let's running back and then Bryce Young Because as we
• 2:12
Speaker 2: as you said last week, Marcus and we talked a
• 2:13
Speaker 2: lot about this week, like play people against, play your
• 2:16
Speaker 2: quarterbacks against the Bucks, and then the sis Jackson Dart
• 2:20
Speaker 2: pains me. But the Vikings have been elite. They've allowed
• 2:23
Speaker 2: one passing touchdown since Week ten. Trevor Lawrence just because
• 2:27
Speaker 2: of the Broncos matchup, I know he was awesome last
• 2:29
Speaker 2: week and then Caleb, Like I have Caleb in the league,
• 2:32
Speaker 2: I'm playing Brock Purdy over him. I just don't feel
• 2:35
Speaker 2: great about getting Caleb in this week.
• 2:37
Speaker 1: In this man, I feel like Caleb is gonna be like,
• 2:39
Speaker 1: you won't be terrible, but it's just gonna be kind
• 2:41
Speaker 1: of mid. Like you're gonna get fifteen sixteen points. Yeah,
• 2:45
Speaker 1: you're not gonna feel great about it, you know. Do
• 2:47
Speaker 1: or Dies He me final like you need that twenty burger.
• 2:50
Speaker 1: You need something big, right, likes like sixteen. Getting sixteen
• 2:54
Speaker 1: points from him in like week twelve be like okay, whatever,
• 2:56
  Speaker 1: you know, we.
• 2:57
Speaker 2: Just move on on to next week. But that's not
• 2:59
Speaker 2: the case. That's not no.
• 3:00
Speaker 1: It's just not ask you about Bryce Young because he's
• 3:04
Speaker 1: been sort of hard to figure out.
• 3:06
Speaker 2: But this matchup is just it feels like it's too
• 3:08
  Speaker 2: good to ignore.
• 3:09
Speaker 3: Yeah, it's one of those matchups you just hope that
• 3:11
Speaker 3: he just goes in. He's locked in. He can go
• 3:13
Speaker 3: against a Bucks defense that allow a ton of fantasy
• 3:16
Speaker 3: points to the quarterback position. Plus maybe he can get
• 3:19
Speaker 3: in and out of the pocket, because we know Bryce
• 3:21
Speaker 3: has some wheels. He's like sneaky and being able to
• 3:24
Speaker 3: get out of the pocket and get a field.
• 3:25
Speaker 2: And you look at the Bucks.
• 3:26
Speaker 3: They're allowing the second most rushing yards to the quarterback position,
• 3:29
Speaker 3: and hey, everybody in the South is getting a rushing touchdown.
• 3:31
Speaker 3: Pannix has one two. I mean, looking at the opportunity,
• 3:35
Speaker 3: I think Bryce Young really shows up this week and
• 3:37
Speaker 3: really make fantasy and managers love him this way.
• 3:39
Speaker 2: Let us love you Bryce, please.
• 3:41
Speaker 1: It would have been something if Kirk Cousins had a
• 3:43
Speaker 1: rushing touchdown against them.
• 3:44
Speaker 3: Yeah, that'd be pretty embarrassing the Bucks, like, come on,
• 3:48
Speaker 3: you got Kirk in the end zone. Come on, Shan,
• 3:50
Speaker 3: you can't have Kirk Captain Kirk running it up on you.
• 3:53
Speaker 2: That's that's no good. He Kirk Cousins definitely cannot run.
• 3:57
Speaker 2: What'd you run a five to six? Kirk?
• 4:00
Speaker 3: I could definitely beat Kirk Cousins. I could beat Kirk
• 4:02
Speaker 3: Cousins and some Cohles Khakis.
• 4:04
Speaker 2: I have zero row down.
• 4:05
Speaker 1: You like Coles Khakis and church shoes. You can beat
• 4:08
  Speaker 1: Kirk Cousins.
• 4:09
Speaker 2: And that's probably how he shows up to run the
• 4:11
  Speaker 2: forty as well.
• 4:12
Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean, look, let's invite Kirk to the fantasy
• 4:16
Speaker 3: what is it called the combo?
• 4:17
  Speaker 2: There we go.
• 4:18
Speaker 3: I think we should get that going very soon to
• 4:20
Speaker 3: start doing some invites.
• 4:21
Speaker 2: Yeah, I feel like he's not showing up for that.
• 4:24
Speaker 1: That's just my thought. Anyway, Let's go to the running backs.
• 4:27
Speaker 1: Who are you starting? Who are you sitting?
• 4:28
Speaker 2: This week? Bucky Irving he went for a buck eighty
• 4:31
Speaker 2: and both matchups against the Panthers last year and the
• 4:33
Speaker 2: Panthers remember early in the year, we were like, it's
• 4:36
Speaker 2: not the same old Panther run defense. It's the same
• 4:39
Speaker 2: run defense. Rico Dowdell, I know before thereby when Chewba
• 4:44
Speaker 2: Hubbard was so involved, they got a little scary. But
• 4:46
Speaker 2: Rico was the lead RB again last week. Aaron Jones,
• 4:50
Speaker 2: just because the Giants I think are the best matchup
• 4:52
Speaker 2: for running backs right now. And then Quinn Shawn Judkins
• 4:55
Speaker 2: I'm afraid of him getting game scripted a little bit,
• 4:57
Speaker 2: but he's been getting more passes, doing Sam's and being
• 5:00
Speaker 2: up in the air is low key huge for Judkins
• 5:03
Speaker 2: as well. And then the sis Ashton Genty. I don't
• 5:07
Speaker 2: want to trust that Raiders offense if I don't have to.
• 5:10
Speaker 2: Tony Pollack's been running really hot, but the Chiefs are
• 5:13
Speaker 2: a tough matchup, and then Kareem Hunt if it's not
• 5:16
Speaker 2: Rashie Rice or Travis Kelce. I have no interest in
• 5:19
Speaker 2: any g Neshtin. Gent's an interesting one. I think heading
• 5:23
Speaker 2: toward next year. This year we sort of know what
• 5:24
Speaker 2: it's gonna be, right, Yeah.
• 5:26
Speaker 1: Next year is gonna be interesting because I think everybody
• 5:28
Speaker 1: was way too high on him this year. It feels
• 5:30
Speaker 1: like everybody's gonna over correct and go way too low
• 5:33
Speaker 1: on him next year.
• 5:35
Speaker 2: It also depends on like who's their coach, who's their quarterback.
• 5:38
Speaker 3: Guy they add additions to the line. I mean that's
• 5:40
Speaker 3: the most important part. And again I like Gino, but
• 5:43
Speaker 3: do they have a quarterback next year as well? Like
• 5:45
Speaker 3: that's something that we need, I mean talk about best
• 5:47
Speaker 3: quarterback they have is an ownership.
• 5:51
Speaker 2: Coming out of easier comeback for the final two games,
• 5:53
  Speaker 2: just for fun.
• 5:55
Speaker 1: He's up here talking about like, if Philip Rivers can
• 5:57
Speaker 1: do it, I can do it. Lit show us, man,
• 6:00
Speaker 1: I don't know, put come it on.
• 6:02
Speaker 2: He confidently said he could still be a starter at
• 6:04
Speaker 2: forty eight, and I'm not doubting him.
• 6:07
Speaker 1: I mean, like you you write checks for a team
• 6:09
Speaker 1: with quarterback issues, like if you really feel like you
• 6:12
Speaker 1: can be that dude, beat that dude, like you know,
• 6:14
  Speaker 1: let me see.
• 6:15
Speaker 2: He could air it out more than Rivers easily. Oh yeah,
• 6:17
Speaker 2: well he got more behind that old line. This raiders
• 6:21
Speaker 2: little reason he's not doing it. If they had a
• 6:23
Speaker 2: good old line. I think I think Brady would be like,
• 6:25
Speaker 2: you know what, I'll suit him up. Why why not I.
• 6:27
Speaker 1: Get a couple of drives in if it happens. You know,
• 6:29
Speaker 1: people are going to be just insane about brock Bottles.
• 6:32
Speaker 2: I guess it's gonna be to the moon.
• 6:35
Speaker 1: Anyway, back to the running backs here, Ricodowdell, I don't
• 6:39
Speaker 1: really know what you're gonna say, but I feel like
• 6:40
Speaker 1: the words snip snapstip snapp are going to be involved
• 6:43
  Speaker 1: in it.
• 6:43
Speaker 3: It could be, but I'm looking at it last week
• 6:45
Speaker 3: where like his fantasy day was saved by a first
• 6:48
Speaker 3: quarter touchdown, and I think when you look at the
• 6:51
Speaker 3: rest of the game those three quarters outside of the
• 6:53
Speaker 3: first quarter, it kind of was like Chuba Hubber is
• 6:56
Speaker 3: still involved heavily in this backfield, and neither one of
• 6:59
Speaker 3: them were served after that, I mean single digit fantasy
• 7:02
Speaker 3: points in those three quarters. So I look at this
• 7:04
Speaker 3: is where we still don't have the answer if Rico
• 7:07
Speaker 3: Dado is going to take majority of these touches and
• 7:09
Speaker 3: actually do something fantasy relevant with it. There's rushing touchdown
• 7:13
Speaker 3: upside this week against the Bucks, but who's to say
• 7:15
Speaker 3: that Tuba doesn't step in and get involved in the
• 7:18
Speaker 3: passing game like he's been these last couple of weeks.
• 7:20
Speaker 3: Like neither one of them have been great on the
• 7:22
Speaker 3: ground efficiency wise. So I'm really really cautious about giving
• 7:26
Speaker 3: people advice of saying, yeah, Rico's the majority back back
• 7:29
Speaker 3: in that backfield. He's the guy that you can rely
• 7:32
Speaker 3: on as in RB two in the past of what
• 7:34
Speaker 3: we've seen hit those fantasy highs. So I'm just a
• 7:36
Speaker 3: little bit cautious. I'm still side eye in this backfield,
• 7:39
Speaker 3: but more so you're just hoping and praying that he
• 7:41
Speaker 3: gets in the end zone.
• 7:42
Speaker 2: Like he did last week.
• 7:43
Speaker 1: This has become a true like hot hand backfield right now, because.
• 7:48
Speaker 2: Wasn't it always like that?
• 7:49
Speaker 3: Though, Like I feel like that's what it was in
• 7:51
Speaker 3: the beginning the season where they were kind of just
• 7:53
Speaker 3: sprinkling in Rico and then when Rico kind of took
• 7:56
Speaker 3: over the stretch where Rico took over and oh yeah,
• 7:59
Speaker 3: of course we remember that stretch. But in the beginning
• 8:01
Speaker 3: of the season it was like Cuba is still the guy,
• 8:03
Speaker 3: the guy that we drafted, and Rico just came out
• 8:05
  Speaker 3: of nowhere.
• 8:06
  Speaker 2: Yeah.
• 8:06
Speaker 1: Yeah, but I mean you look at the last couple
• 8:08
Speaker 1: of weeks now, like their usage, their carrier, it's all
• 8:11
Speaker 1: about the same, and even like the targets are the same.
• 8:14
Speaker 1: I remember looking at him like, Okay, well who's guy's
• 8:15
  Speaker 1: catching the football.
• 8:16
Speaker 2: I'm like, well they they both. That is the secret
• 8:19
Speaker 2: ingredient because the Bucks have been abysmal all year against
• 8:22
  Speaker 2: past catching back.
• 8:23
Speaker 1: Yeah, it's just like they're both getting about the same
• 8:25
  Speaker 1: number of targets.
• 8:26
Speaker 2: It just really is hard. I wrote Rico as a start,
• 8:29
Speaker 2: and then I was also called Chuba's sleeper. I was like,
• 8:31
Speaker 2: if you if you're going a little bit deeper, like
• 8:33
Speaker 2: in the blurb about Rico, I'm like, you could also
• 8:35
Speaker 2: plug in Cuba here, right, Like this is what this is.
• 8:39
Speaker 1: When it's not very often when I'm like, okay, we
• 8:41
Speaker 1: should just play team positions, like I just, you know,
• 8:43
Speaker 1: can I just plug in Panthers running back?
• 8:45
Speaker 2: This have a league that does that for kickers of
• 8:47
Speaker 2: all kind of like to do it?
• 8:50
Speaker 1: How many teams rotate kickers like it's just you're the
• 8:53
Speaker 1: kicker for the day. I mean, look, trust me, Niner
• 8:54
Speaker 1: fans would have wanted to pun Jake Moody in the
• 8:56
Speaker 1: middle of a lot of games, but like that was it.
• 8:58
Speaker 1: He was their kicker for the day and you just
• 9:00
Speaker 1: dealt with it. Like that's all I know. Anyway, we
• 9:04
Speaker 1: got a lot's left to do here on the show,
• 9:06
Speaker 1: we're gonna get into the Sunday night game between the
• 9:09
Speaker 1: Patriots and the Ravens and figure out which Patriots wide
• 9:13
Speaker 1: receiver we might have an interest in. That and a
• 9:15
Speaker 1: whole lot more coming up on the NFL Fantasy Football Show.
• 9:22
Speaker 2: Time to check out the first.
• 9:23
Speaker 1: To score odds for the Sunday night game between the
• 9:25
Speaker 1: Patriots and the Ravens. For that one, Dereck Henry with
• 9:29
Speaker 1: the best odds guy who's picked it up later in
• 9:31
Speaker 1: the season, Travion Henderson following not too far behind, Yeah,
• 9:35
Speaker 1: Mark Andrews, and then Zay Flowers, Romandre Stevenson, who just
• 9:39
Speaker 1: keeps turning up like a bad penny, can't go away
• 9:41
Speaker 1: in an office. He is the fifth of the five
• 9:45
Speaker 1: names here on the board. I'll aska you of you guys,
• 9:48
Speaker 1: Lakwan started with you. Who is who do you like
• 9:50
Speaker 1: the most on that board? Or is there somebody else
• 9:52
Speaker 1: maybe Trayvon Henderson. I mean, hands down, we're all fans here.
• 9:55
Speaker 1: We want him to take it to the house and
• 9:57
Speaker 1: be the first one to put.
• 9:58
  Speaker 2: Up the board.
• 9:58
Speaker 3: I mean, honestly, he's probably going to be a league
• 10:00
Speaker 3: winner for a lot of folks. So Trayvon Henderson from
• 10:03
Speaker 3: from the forty yard line of his own, you've.
• 10:05
Speaker 2: Been seeing Travion all year. I'm guessing your state.
• 10:07
  Speaker 1: Yeah.
• 10:08
Speaker 2: I wasn't wrong either in the beginning of the year.
• 10:10
Speaker 2: None of us were wrong. Mike ray Roll and Josh
• 10:12
Speaker 2: McDaniel were wrong because he's clearly in the superior back.
• 10:16
Speaker 2: Please tell me he's not, says he.
• 10:18
Speaker 1: I do love how fantasy folks were like we had
• 10:20
Speaker 1: this right, Like, yeah, glad.
• 10:22
Speaker 2: You guys caught up. Yeah, exactly, Thanks for catching up
• 10:24
  Speaker 2: on this one.
• 10:26
Speaker 1: Yeah, I think it's Travion, although I'm surprised that Drake
• 10:29
Speaker 1: May wasn't on there just.
• 10:31
Speaker 2: Because yeah, yeah, you know, and Lamar and Lamar J.
• 10:35
  Speaker 2: There you have.
• 10:35
Speaker 1: You have two mobile quarterbacks. Yeah, one of them showed
• 10:38
Speaker 1: up on this list.
• 10:39
Speaker 2: So that's just a little bit weird.
• 10:41
Speaker 1: As for the game itself, of course, you can see
• 10:43
Speaker 1: that Sunday night on the national broadcasting channel laquant. If
• 10:47
Speaker 1: you're going to pick one, just one Patriots wide receiver
• 10:50
Speaker 1: to start from this game, who would it be?
• 10:52
Speaker 2: Can? I? Can? I pick nobody?
• 10:54
Speaker 3: Because have you seen the game logs for any of
• 10:56
Speaker 3: the wide receivers in the last three weeks? Single digit
• 10:59
Speaker 3: Fantasy points for all of them, and it's like you
• 11:01
Speaker 3: have Stefan Dick's playing less than fifty percent of snaps.
• 11:04
Speaker 3: Why then you have Kayshawn Boody that catches a deep
• 11:07
  Speaker 3: pass every other.
• 11:07
  Speaker 2: Game, that's cool.
• 11:08
Speaker 3: And then you have Mac Collins leading this wide receiver
• 11:11
Speaker 3: room with a thirty two percent target share, doing absolutely
• 11:14
Speaker 3: nothing with it in fantasy. And I think the only
• 11:16
Speaker 3: pass catcher you can trust is Hunter Henry where he's
• 11:19
Speaker 3: been the guy that's been reliable. I know he disappeared
• 11:22
Speaker 3: last week, but he's the guy that's been getting the yards.
• 11:24
Speaker 3: He's the only one that's averaging more than thirty five
• 11:26
Speaker 3: yards per game in the last three weeks. So I
• 11:28
Speaker 3: look at this if I have other options I can
• 11:31
Speaker 3: pivot to. I do not feel good about any Patriots
• 11:33
Speaker 3: wide receiver this week.
• 11:35
Speaker 1: I had the Patriots game on last week and Kayshawn
• 11:38
Speaker 1: Booty made a play in the announcers said his name,
• 11:40
Speaker 1: and my wife happened to be walking by.
• 11:41
Speaker 2: She's like, what is that man's name? Also, that catch
• 11:45
Speaker 2: hit the turf, they're saying that hit the turf. But
• 11:48
Speaker 2: I did love Patriots fans being like, what happened? Where
• 11:50
Speaker 2: is Steph Diggs in this big game? Why is he
• 11:52
Speaker 2: not out there? And it's like this is what Bills fans?
• 11:56
Speaker 2: Oh my god, I love it. I love him. But
• 11:58
Speaker 2: he tended to shy away in contact in the games.
• 12:03
Speaker 1: Yeah, he was kind of Homer Simpson this sort of thing.
• 12:06
Speaker 1: And those games you saw on that list of first
• 12:09
Speaker 1: touchdown odds, Mark Andrews made the list last week. A
• 12:14
Speaker 1: lot of people be included thought Isaiah likely would be
• 12:16
Speaker 1: an interesting start, and he included he got the same
• 12:19
Speaker 1: number of targets as all three of us sitting here. Hey,
• 12:22
Speaker 1: can you start a Raven side in this week?
• 12:25
Speaker 2: Michael? I think it's kind of similar to last week,
• 12:30
Speaker 2: but just not as good of a matchup, right, Like,
• 12:32
Speaker 2: I think Mark Andrews is the touchdown bet like that
• 12:36
Speaker 2: he is always going to bring the higher touchdown chances
• 12:41
Speaker 2: of the two of them because that is where he
• 12:43
Speaker 2: gets utilized the most. But I know he didn't have
• 12:45
Speaker 2: a target last week. I still think Isaiah likely is
• 12:48
Speaker 2: in play as a sleeper here because he is more
• 12:52
Speaker 2: of the chain mover, the yards guy. The thing about
• 12:56
Speaker 2: last week is the Ravens blew them out from the
• 12:59
  Speaker 2: jump are through twelve passes. I don't think it's it's
• 13:03
Speaker 2: fair to be like these guys stink or something like that.
• 13:06
Speaker 2: You need chances. Half of those passes went to say
• 13:09
Speaker 2: Flowers too, So like, yeah, I think they're not I'm
• 13:13
Speaker 2: not like pounding the table like I was a week
• 13:14
Speaker 2: ago for them, but I do think they're both in
• 13:16
Speaker 2: play as like streaming tight ends.
• 13:18
Speaker 1: Yeah, it's just been so weird trying to peg the
• 13:21
Speaker 1: the Ravens passing games because you know, either they're low volume,
• 13:25
Speaker 1: most of the throwers are going to say Flowers.
• 13:27
Speaker 2: I mean you look at his target share.
• 13:29
  Speaker 1: I mean it's he's well above the target's reception yards,
• 13:32
Speaker 1: well above the second place on that scene.
• 13:34
Speaker 2: But he doesn't get touchdowns. Makes him annoying. Right, Just
• 13:38
Speaker 2: on top of it all, we're dealing with the yearly
• 13:40
Speaker 2: Lamar illness, Like every December, like clockwork, this guy gets sick.
• 13:44
Speaker 2: I just need your vitamins.
• 13:47
Speaker 1: He's a Miami dude in the coal like built, so
• 13:51
Speaker 1: we send him some emergency, get him some ginger.
• 13:55
Speaker 2: What are you doing? Why?
• 13:56
Speaker 1: How does this happen every single year? I mean you
• 13:59
Speaker 1: guys surprised that the Ravens are favorites in this game.
• 14:02
Speaker 3: No, that is kind of weird though, right because you
• 14:04
Speaker 3: have the fake campaign of the MVP race with Drake.
• 14:07
Speaker 2: May mean the campaign is real, it is fake anyway,
• 14:11
Speaker 2: Look the schedule, like, like I know, we've talked about
• 14:15
Speaker 2: it a lot. They're not beating these allegations because you
• 14:18
Speaker 2: had the Bengals without Burrow and Chase. Now you're getting
• 14:21
Speaker 2: a sick Lamar and then you get Brady Cook and
• 14:23
Speaker 2: Quinn Ewers to end this season like everything has just
• 14:27
Speaker 2: worked out. It's not the Patriots fault, don't get me wrong,
• 14:29
Speaker 2: but I've never seen a schedule break this way for
• 14:31
  Speaker 2: one team.
• 14:32
Speaker 1: Everything is coming up Millhouse for the evand Patriots. Monday
• 14:37
Speaker 1: Night football from Indianapolis, the forty nine Ers taking on
• 14:40
Speaker 1: the Indianapolis Colts. You can see that game at eight
• 14:43
Speaker 1: fifteen pm Eastern on Espen ABCA and Espen de Portas.
• 14:47
Speaker 1: The Niners starting to get hot later in the season,
• 14:50
Speaker 1: much of the chagrin of Won Lakwan Jones, so we
• 14:53
Speaker 1: will ask this question of Michael f Florio instead. Rock
• 14:57
Speaker 1: perty has been playing some good football. The Colts still
• 14:59
Speaker 1: have been I would say kind of middle of the pack,
• 15:02
Speaker 1: maybe a little bit blow average against quarterbacks. Would you
• 15:04
Speaker 1: start Rock Purty in this situation?
• 15:06
Speaker 2: I am like I have him in the league myself
• 15:09
Speaker 2: where I'm playing him over Caleb, like I said, But yeah,
• 15:12
Speaker 2: not only is Purty I would say, the healthiest he's
• 15:15
Speaker 2: probably been since what Week one? But now he's got
• 15:17
Speaker 2: to see him see healthy, and Kittle and Jennings and
• 15:20
Speaker 2: pearsall's getting involved and like they really didn't have all
• 15:23
Speaker 2: of this cast of characters for much of the year.
• 15:26
Speaker 2: On top of that, the Colts, like you said, like
• 15:28
Speaker 2: they're not the best matchup, but without Sauce Gardner, they
• 15:32
Speaker 2: are definitely a team that can be you could throw against.
• 15:35
Speaker 2: So plus Perdy adds a little bit of sneaky value
• 15:38
Speaker 2: with his legs, Like he's not gonna run for fifty
• 15:41
Speaker 2: or something like that, but he could get you like
• 15:42
Speaker 2: twenty rushing yards. So I do like Purty a good amount.
• 15:45
Speaker 2: And then he'll do the dougie after he scores a touchdown.
• 15:48
Speaker 2: Tool that was clean. Yeah, Con doesn't want to give
• 15:52
Speaker 2: it credit, but we know he liked you know he did.
• 15:54
Speaker 2: Didn't see it, you know, didn't see it. Yes, yes
• 15:56
Speaker 2: you did tasting about it. You are more online than
• 15:59
Speaker 2: all of absolutely saw for sure.
• 16:03
Speaker 1: On the other side, So I asked you this about
• 16:05
Speaker 1: the Patriots, I'll ask you this about the Colts. Pick
• 16:07
Speaker 1: one one Colts wide receiver that you would start. I
• 16:10
Speaker 1: have one in mind, by the way.
• 16:11
Speaker 2: I'm just curious what your thoughts were.
• 16:13
Speaker 3: I did too, And like with Rivers last week, I mean,
• 16:15
Speaker 3: we didn't see a lot of deep downfield shots, like
• 16:17
Speaker 3: so Pittman takes a hit, Josh downs seems to be
• 16:20
Speaker 3: his security blanket, Like I know we want Tyler Warren
• 16:22
Speaker 3: to be there, but Josh Downs finding the end zone
• 16:24
Speaker 3: last week's great. And I said that, you know on
• 16:26
Speaker 3: last week's episode that Josh Downs could be a sneaky
• 16:29
Speaker 3: fourteen sixteen league Fleck Scott because being that he plays
• 16:32
Speaker 3: that underneath and he could be a security blanket for
• 16:34
Speaker 3: Rivers where he only had two passes completed over ten
• 16:37
Speaker 3: yards last week. So I think that's kind of what
• 16:39
Speaker 3: the war of this offense is going to look like.
• 16:41
Speaker 3: We're and the ball off the JT check it down,
• 16:44
  Speaker 3: Where's Josh Downs? I think that's kind of where we're
• 16:46
Speaker 3: looking at where Josh Downs ends up being like one
• 16:48
Speaker 3: of those guys that you desperately need somebody to put
• 16:51
  Speaker 3: into your flex.
• 16:52
Speaker 2: He could be there on the way to.
• 16:53
Speaker 1: Wire for it. Yeah, Josh Downs was the name I
• 16:55
Speaker 1: was thinking of. But I also think the ceiling is
• 16:57
Speaker 1: going to be kind of limited on him.
• 16:59
Speaker 2: Just what you may last week.
• 17:01
Speaker 1: I think it's four point four yards per attempt for
• 17:04
  Speaker 1: Philip Rivers.
• 17:04
Speaker 2: That great? Do you think we see all eleven defenders
• 17:07
Speaker 2: in front of the sticks, Like that's what I would do,
• 17:10
Speaker 2: right I dare you to throw it out? Man, Like
• 17:13
Speaker 2: you can't throw it far.
• 17:14
Speaker 1: We're gonna try to stop Jonathan Taylor. That's job number one, right,
• 17:17
Speaker 1: Slow down, Jonathan Taylor. I don't trust that Philip Rivers
• 17:20
Speaker 1: is going to be able to beat me deep right now,
• 17:23
Speaker 1: Like you know, I think that's what it is.
• 17:25
Speaker 2: But I'm with you.
• 17:25
Speaker 1: I think Josh Downs, if there is one, he is
• 17:28
Speaker 1: the one I'm gonna see.
• 17:31
Speaker 2: They open the window for for Ar Anthony Richardson. I'm excited.
• 17:37
Speaker 2: I mean, you've been a fan since day one, so
• 17:40
  Speaker 2: I know you're really happy I have him. I've stashed
• 17:42
Speaker 2: him in the Super Flex League all year, like in
• 17:44
Speaker 2: my ir spot, Wow, I lost my homes last week.
• 17:47
Speaker 2: I'm using Bryce Dedication. It could line up perfect because
• 17:51
Speaker 2: Bryce Young get Seattle next week. I'm like, no, if
• 17:53
Speaker 2: AR starts next week, I'm playing them.
• 17:56
Speaker 1: The problem for the Colts is like, you're still kind
• 17:59
Speaker 1: of in the playoff, and I don't think you want
• 18:01
Speaker 1: to showcase Anthony Richardson, right.
• 18:03
Speaker 2: Riley Leonard, why is he not there? Well, they're gonna
• 18:06
Speaker 2: play Richardson over Leonard. You're gonna play Richardson over. He's
• 18:09
Speaker 2: a top five pick.
• 18:09
Speaker 1: Yeah, they're gonna play Richard because if nothing else, you
• 18:12
Speaker 1: showcase him potentially as trade bait for something else. If
• 18:16
Speaker 1: you're done, if you decide you don't want him there,
• 18:18
Speaker 1: play him, try to get some good tape out there,
• 18:21
Speaker 1: and then see if you can swap him for somebody.
• 18:23
  Speaker 2: I was talking to a friend of mine who's a
• 18:24
Speaker 2: big Notre Dame fan last night, and he was like,
• 18:26
Speaker 2: he struggles to throw deep, but unlike Philip Rivers, he
• 18:29
Speaker 2: can't get through progressions quickly.
• 18:30
Speaker 1: And I was like, okay, designs that, how'd you like
• 18:34
Speaker 1: to play missus Lincoln?
• 18:35
Speaker 2: Great? All right? There you go with forty nine Ers
• 18:38
Speaker 2: and Colts. Back to our starts.
• 18:40
Speaker 1: In six four Week sixteen, we got some wide receivers
• 18:45
  Speaker 1: on tap.
• 18:45
Speaker 2: Who do you like this week? Who do you not
• 18:48
Speaker 2: like this week? Raci Rice? If he plays, he's in
• 18:51
Speaker 2: concussion protocol. They're saying he has a chance. I know
• 18:54
Speaker 2: people are worried with no Mahomes, but I think he
• 18:56
Speaker 2: is a start if he plays Michael Wilson. I don't
• 19:00
Speaker 2: love that Marvin Harrison Junior's back, but I think the
• 19:02
Speaker 2: matchup is favorable enough where you ride the hot hand there.
• 19:05
Speaker 2: Jamison Williams is an absolute mustart to me. He has
• 19:07
Speaker 2: been bawling out since Dan Campbell took over the plays
• 19:10
Speaker 2: dk metcalf because the Lions have just been cooked downfield
• 19:14
Speaker 2: by wide receivers as of late, the Legion of whom
• 19:17
Speaker 2: is what they're calling their secondary. And then Lad McConkie
• 19:20
Speaker 2: was my Rashid Rice replacement in the article because he
• 19:24
Speaker 2: gets the Cowboys right, Like, that's the only I'm not
• 19:26
Speaker 2: telling you like he's been playing great or anything, but
• 19:28
Speaker 2: he gets the Cowboys. And then the CITs a Mecca abuka,
• 19:32
Speaker 2: not like a must sit, but I have a couple
• 19:34
Speaker 2: of spots where I'm looking to get away from him.
• 19:36
Speaker 2: That's how I kind of judge it by I look
• 19:38
Speaker 2: at my teams, like can I sit this guy? All right? Yeah?
• 19:40
Speaker 2: I think I can wandell just because the Vikings have
• 19:43
Speaker 2: been elite against receivers. The last time I receiver scored
• 19:46
Speaker 2: a touchdown against them was Week nine. And then Michael
• 19:50
Speaker 2: Pittman Junior. We just talked about the Colts and Deebo.
• 19:54
Speaker 2: It's over for Debo. It was a fun run early
• 19:56
Speaker 2: in the year, but when Terry's out there, it's really
• 19:58
Speaker 2: hard to get too pas Catchers from Marcus Mariota.
• 20:01
Speaker 1: Yeah, I just I don't really see that happening for
• 20:03
Speaker 1: Deebo Samuel, so I totally get that one there. I'm
• 20:07
Speaker 1: gonna I want to ask you about DK Metcalf because
• 20:09
Speaker 1: you had some not nice things to say about him
• 20:11
Speaker 1: in our text chat. But but we'll keep that in house. Basically,
• 20:15
Speaker 1: my birthday doesn't mean he doesn't like DK, even though
• 20:18
Speaker 1: you guys share a birthday. Were Kyle Shanahan and Kyle
• 20:21
Speaker 1: Shanahan two guys who made your life miserable in the
• 20:25
Speaker 1: I guess the rest at some point. Yeah, exactly what
• 20:27
Speaker 1: would you guys talk about if the three of you
• 20:28
Speaker 1: went out for dinner?
• 20:29
  Speaker 4: Oh?
• 20:29
Speaker 2: Wow, I don't think you say that on this show.
• 20:32
Speaker 2: I want not Safe for work. I think we're allowed
• 20:35
Speaker 2: to say those words on this show.
• 20:36
Speaker 3: Instead, I'll ask you about Jameson Williams Kyra Williams cousin.
• 20:40
Speaker 2: Oh I did not know that? Yeah, first, cause I
• 20:42
Speaker 2: won't lie. I found that out last week for the
• 20:44
  Speaker 2: first time.
• 20:45
Speaker 3: I knew that last year, but it wasn't like big news,
• 20:47
Speaker 3: so I kind of just like, oh, that's pretty cool.
• 20:49
Speaker 2: I learned something new today. You would think Karen would
• 20:51
  Speaker 2: be faster.
• 20:52
Speaker 5: Ye wrong side of the tree, buddy, you have the
• 20:57
Speaker 5: fastest guy and then like a pretty speed hereditary necessarily
• 21:02
  Speaker 5: jameson Williams.
• 21:03
Speaker 1: Like we we loved the breakout, it took a while
• 21:06
Speaker 1: for it to happen. Does it continue this week?
• 21:09
  Speaker 2: Yeah?
• 21:09
Speaker 3: This is more so of like I'm looking at him,
• 21:11
Speaker 3: he could be a wide receiver one this like this
• 21:13
Speaker 3: is the production that he's going to get with the
• 21:14
Speaker 3: Steelers secondary where there's opportunities there. When we look at
• 21:17
Speaker 3: the Steelers secondary, they're allowing the fifth most explosive plays
• 21:21
Speaker 3: of fifteen plus yards to wide receivers. And everything that
• 21:24
Speaker 3: we have seen from James and Williams these last couple
• 21:26
Speaker 3: of weeks have been nothing but speed and explosiveness. So yeah,
• 21:29
Speaker 3: Jared Golf is going to have a nice game with
• 21:31
Speaker 3: James and Williams. So I see a twenty burger in
• 21:33
Speaker 3: the future for him this week.
• 21:35
Speaker 1: What I do love about the Lions offense is that
• 21:38
Speaker 1: it's pretty much a three person passing game. Right, it's
• 21:42
Speaker 1: a'mon ros Saint Brown, it's Jamison Williams, it's Jamier Gibbs.
• 21:46
Speaker 1: Like once Sam Laporta went down, you know, like you know,
• 21:49
Speaker 1: to stop trying to fool ourselves about Khalif Raymond or
• 21:52
Speaker 1: test of those guys, like like, we don't have to
• 21:55
Speaker 1: pretend anymore. Man, It's just those three guys. They get
• 21:58
Speaker 1: all the targets and we just go on.
• 21:59
Speaker 2: I kind of love with Dan Campbell's because he's even
• 22:01
Speaker 2: started using Gibbs more and like shining away from Monti
• 22:04
Speaker 2: a bit. He's just like, I'm gonna put the ball
• 22:05
Speaker 2: in my three best players hands as often as I can.
• 22:08
Speaker 1: Sometimes foosball is simple like that, you know, just give
• 22:12
Speaker 1: it to your good players. I mean, you can drop
• 22:15
Speaker 1: a whole lot of things in the end, you just
• 22:16
Speaker 1: get the ball to your best players.
• 22:18
Speaker 2: And more often than that, Smith feels by the exact opposite. Oh,
• 22:20
Speaker 2: these are your best players as decoys.
• 22:22
Speaker 1: I mean Arthur Smith, Sean Payton, all these guys who
• 22:25
Speaker 1: just try to like agreeable now, I mean, geez, just
• 22:27
Speaker 1: playing four D chess for no real good reason.
• 22:30
  Speaker 2: I just don't understand it.
• 22:32
Speaker 1: Over to the tight ends, which you know is always
• 22:34
Speaker 1: a little bit of a dice roll. Who is up
• 22:36
Speaker 1: who is down on the tight end position?
• 22:39
Speaker 2: For you? I think Kyle Pitts has just become someone
• 22:41
Speaker 2: you start with confidence, it's a good matchup. He scored
• 22:43
Speaker 2: fifteen or more and three straight. He was the best
• 22:46
Speaker 2: tight end of the season in any game last week,
• 22:48
Speaker 2: so I think you play him. I'll take the l
• 22:50
Speaker 2: on Dallas Goddard last week, but he was kind of
• 22:53
Speaker 2: a forgotten man and then all of a sudden, seventeen
• 22:55
Speaker 2: targets in the last two. But what makes the specialist
• 22:58
Speaker 2: touchdowns and the Commanders have given up a whole bull
• 23:00
Speaker 2: to tight ends. And then Darren Waller, I know it's
• 23:02
  Speaker 2: a quarterback change. I still think he's a streaming option.
• 23:05
Speaker 2: There's a little bit more risk now, but the matchup
• 23:07
Speaker 2: has him in play. And then the six Tyler Warren.
• 23:10
Speaker 2: You were just saying LQ like we wanted to be him,
• 23:13
Speaker 2: and they tried like Rivers throwing the ball six times
• 23:15
Speaker 2: last week, but it just it hasn't really been there
• 23:18
Speaker 2: the last five six weeks now for Warren Colson Loveland,
• 23:21
Speaker 2: I will say I believe as of right now, the
• 23:25
Speaker 2: Bears have ruled out a Doonsay and Burden. That makes
• 23:28
Speaker 2: me like Loveland a whole lot more than I did
• 23:30
Speaker 2: when I wrote this up on Monday, Hunter Henry, just
• 23:33
Speaker 2: because the Ravens have been tough against tight ends, and
• 23:37
Speaker 2: Drake May is gonna spread the ball out and annoy
• 23:39
Speaker 2: as fantasy managers. And then aj Barner because I forgot
• 23:42
Speaker 2: to take him off the list. He plays on Thursday.
• 23:45
Speaker 1: All right, cool, So you know, if you're watching this
• 23:48
Speaker 1: in the future, he could be a genius. He could
• 23:50
Speaker 1: maybe have egg on his face. Who knows at this point.
• 23:54
Speaker 1: But looking at the tight end position, I mean, it's
• 23:56
Speaker 1: always sort of a dice roll here, right, I mean, yeah,
• 23:59
Speaker 1: Dallas got her, I said, I didn't say the Dallas
• 24:02
Speaker 1: got last week. I said he's a beware just because
• 24:07
Speaker 1: the Raiders weren't giving up a lot of production to
• 24:09
Speaker 1: tight ends. But I also feel like tight ends just
• 24:11
Speaker 1: weren't being used against them.
• 24:13
Speaker 3: Yeah, that's kind of.
• 24:14
Speaker 2: Probably what it was.
• 24:16
Speaker 1: So like, are we in for another Dallas Goddard a
• 24:18
Speaker 1: week or does the.
• 24:19
Speaker 2: Ball go somewhere else?
• 24:20
Speaker 3: I think it's on the table just based on what
• 24:22
Speaker 3: we've seen the Eagles utilize him in striking distance. That's
• 24:24
Speaker 3: really what we care about. Is this tight end going
• 24:26
Speaker 3: to give us ten points? Is he going to get
• 24:28
Speaker 3: a touchdown? And that's definitely on the table this week
• 24:30
Speaker 3: against the Commanders where they're tied for the third most
• 24:33
Speaker 3: touchdowns allowed to the tight end position, and we see
• 24:35
Speaker 3: this guy when they getting striking distance, they get close,
• 24:37
Speaker 3: they're willing to give him a shuffle pass, as.
• 24:39
Speaker 2: We see in the b roll right now.
• 24:41
Speaker 3: The time was exactly and it's crazy that they're making
• 24:44
Speaker 3: him kind of a piece of this offense that we've
• 24:47
Speaker 3: seen before before the aj Brown and Devonte Smith bigs
• 24:49
Speaker 3: Batman and Little Batman, where Dallas guy is still out
• 24:52
Speaker 3: there getting it man in back to back games, we're
• 24:54
Speaker 3: getting tight in one production. I don't see why it
• 24:56
  Speaker 3: changes this week.
• 24:57
Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, it's just it was funny because early
• 25:00
Speaker 1: in the year, when the whole tush push thing was raging,
• 25:02
Speaker 1: like they actually drew up some sort of variations on
• 25:06
Speaker 1: the tush push that involved like a little pitch or
• 25:08
  Speaker 1: a little shovel.
• 25:08
Speaker 3: He stole that from the Chiefs, though, like I think
• 25:10
Speaker 3: we've seen Travis Kelce do that a ton, so it's
• 25:13
Speaker 3: like it's not as flashy or cool.
• 25:15
Speaker 1: Everybody steals from everybody. But but I guess my point
• 25:17
Speaker 1: is like they kind of went away from it for
• 25:19
Speaker 1: a while and now it is back.
• 25:21
Speaker 2: Question Mark two of three Eagles can do well each week.
• 25:25
Speaker 2: It's just a matter of which, I guess if they
• 25:28
Speaker 2: spin a wheel, I think, and they're just praying for Devant.
• 25:30
Speaker 1: It is literally I would like Devontae Smith, but it
• 25:33
Speaker 1: is like musical chairs and we'll.
• 25:34
Speaker 3: Slid from batman to rob at this point, like he
• 25:37
Speaker 3: is the sidekick and.
• 25:38
Speaker 2: The wheel might land on him this week. Who knows,
• 25:41
Speaker 2: he says all the time. The bar for tid and
• 25:42
Speaker 2: success is very, very low.
• 25:46
Speaker 1: Kind of a weird story that popped up in fantasy
• 25:49
Speaker 1: over the past week. Obviously, if you play fantasy football,
• 25:53
Speaker 1: you are familiar with these stat correction that you know
• 25:55
Speaker 1: every once in a while during the week, uh, the
• 25:58
Speaker 1: official score will look at something and and say, you know,
• 26:00
Speaker 1: we should tweak that a little bit, and it changes
• 26:02
Speaker 1: fantasy scoring. This is one that I have never heard
• 26:05
Speaker 1: of before. And this is a tweet from our own
• 26:06
Speaker 1: Tom Pelasero. Now an official stack correction that could impact
• 26:10
Speaker 1: your fantasy score from months ago. Bears quarterback Caleb Williams
• 26:14
Speaker 1: is now officially credited with a fumble, a fumble recovery,
• 26:18
Speaker 1: and a rush for zero yards not minus five on
• 26:21
Speaker 1: the last play of the third quarter in Week six Wow,
• 26:26
Speaker 1: we have gone back ten weeks. Yeah, we're going way
• 26:29
Speaker 1: back back into time and we're changing stack corrections. Now, Florio,
• 26:33
Speaker 1: you heard from or heard of someone because you asked
• 26:37
Speaker 1: the question, did just get somebody out of the play.
• 26:39
Speaker 2: I tweeted, I said, does anyone have Caleb lose Week
• 26:42
Speaker 2: six by point four or less and missed the playoffs
• 26:44
Speaker 2: by one game? Thinking like no one of the and
• 26:48
Speaker 2: one person tweeted me and they and they sent screenshots
• 26:51
Speaker 2: and they were like I did. They lost Week six
• 26:53
Speaker 2: by point three. So now that extra point five gives
• 26:57
Speaker 2: him the win, and the team that he beat he
• 26:59
Speaker 2: was tied for for the final playoff spot. So what
• 27:03
Speaker 2: his league did, and this is where you guys could
• 27:05
Speaker 2: rule as well, they put it up to vote. They
• 27:08
Speaker 2: voted him the week six. That correction team got the
• 27:11
Speaker 2: win in week six, So now he became from eliminated
• 27:15
Speaker 2: to the three seed. The team that lost that week
• 27:18
Speaker 2: got eliminated. And then they went in and they said,
• 27:20
Speaker 2: well the three seed would have played the sixth seed
• 27:22
Speaker 2: and he won. So now this manager from this that
• 27:25
Speaker 2: correction went from being eliminated to being in the semi finals.
• 27:29
Speaker 2: I'm really boosting two teams out of the playoffs, like essentially,
• 27:33
Speaker 2: what are we because they were like, well, the six
• 27:35
Speaker 2: seeds set his lineup and I think beat what the
• 27:39
Speaker 2: original three seed was. They were like, well, we voted
• 27:41
Speaker 2: him now to be the three seeds, so how would
• 27:43
Speaker 2: that have played out? And he beat the other guys?
• 27:46
Speaker 3: So yeah, I can't imagine this happened in my league.
• 27:49
Speaker 3: There would be a lot of cursh words, a lot
• 27:51
Speaker 3: of just diabolical things being done because week six weeks ago,
• 27:57
  Speaker 3: second round in.
• 27:58
Speaker 2: The playoffs right now?
• 27:59
Speaker 1: Yeah, for me, I feel like stat corrections at least
• 28:01
Speaker 1: in fantasy. Look what if if the NFL wants to
• 28:03
Speaker 1: stack correct or whatever and it put it on the
• 28:05
Speaker 1: fine whatever. For fantasy, it should work like a replay challenge,
• 28:10
Speaker 1: right like you know, like you see teams rush up
• 28:12
Speaker 1: to the line because if you snap the ball then
• 28:14
Speaker 1: you just can't replay it anymore if your guy has
• 28:18
Speaker 1: played another game, Like if you stack correct within the week, fine, cool, cool.
• 28:22
Speaker 1: Once that player has played another game, it's done. You
• 28:28
Speaker 1: can't stat correct at that point, you deely can't go
• 28:30
Speaker 1: back ten weeks to do this.
• 28:32
Speaker 2: I'm curiously who's in charge of this?
• 28:33
Speaker 3: That was like, let me go back ten weeks week
• 28:35
Speaker 3: six why not let me go back and correct this.
• 28:38
Speaker 2: If Tom doesn't tweet that out, none of us catch it,
• 28:40
Speaker 2: no one knows, and his league doesn't catch it. And
• 28:43
Speaker 2: but Tom tweeted it out and this I do like that.
• 28:46
Speaker 2: They let the league vote on it, and it was like,
• 28:49
Speaker 2: we're gonna go with the majority decision. Jos was like
• 28:52
Speaker 2: insane because I would have been like, no, man, like you,
• 28:55
Speaker 2: it's bumped her definitely.
• 28:56
Speaker 3: If that was one of if I can tell you
• 28:58
Speaker 3: now my home league, this would not be solved at all,
• 29:01
Speaker 3: Like it would just be just in the air. We
• 29:02
Speaker 3: would just be going back and forth for weeks, maybe
• 29:05
  Speaker 3: ten weeks.
• 29:06
Speaker 2: It'll be over. A butterfly effect. Is great because like
• 29:09
Speaker 2: you treat the rest like if you know, each of
• 29:12
Speaker 2: these teams probably do something a little bit different thinking
• 29:15
Speaker 2: they're in the playoffs. Yeah, yeah, that's that's a wild story.
• 29:19
Speaker 1: This is a crazy fake game that we played, for sure,
• 29:22
Speaker 1: very stressful, very very stressful. Time for a break, but
• 29:25
Speaker 1: when we return, will play either or give you our
• 29:28
Speaker 1: Bowl predictions for week sixteen and have our weekly chat
• 29:30
  Speaker 1: with cam Wolf.
• 29:35
Speaker 2: Is a little bit of either or.
• 29:36
Speaker 1: I know the last few shows we've been doing the
• 29:38
Speaker 1: startle meter, and like I thought about doing that, but
• 29:41
Speaker 1: I'm like, let's actually just let's just bring it boiler
• 29:44
Speaker 1: down between like two guys, and you know, you have
• 29:47
Speaker 1: a choice of which one of these guys you can
• 29:49
Speaker 1: start with your playoffs on the line, a chance to
• 29:52
Speaker 1: go to the championship week. So Floyda, I will start
• 29:56
Speaker 1: with you here Caleb Williams against the Packers, where Joe
• 30:00
Speaker 1: Burrow at the Dolphins. Who's been tough on quarterbacks?
• 30:03
Speaker 2: They have been, but I'm still going Joe Burrow. We've
• 30:06
Speaker 2: spoke a lot about how like Caleb's floors are like
• 30:08
Speaker 2: kind of league losing like ten to fifteen fantasy points. Burrow,
• 30:13
Speaker 2: I know, is coming off his worst game, but he's
• 30:14
Speaker 2: motivated now. So I'm going with Joe b.
• 30:17
Speaker 3: Yeah, Joe Beasy for sure, even though he's not really
• 30:20
Speaker 3: happy right now what's going on. But I do think
• 30:22
Speaker 3: that he can handle Miami. Like we're looking at Miami
• 30:25
Speaker 3: that just benched to it. What is the atmosphere right
• 30:27
  Speaker 3: now in Miami.
• 30:28
Speaker 1: Yeah, it's funny because the vibes went from really bad
• 30:31
Speaker 1: in Miami it's like kind of good to like it
• 30:33
Speaker 1: felt like last week against the Steelers, they just let
• 30:36
Speaker 1: go of the rope.
• 30:37
Speaker 2: Yeah, like they're like, it's it's done at this point.
• 30:40
  Speaker 4: Terrible.
• 30:40
Speaker 1: So yeah, I'm gon I'm gonna go Joe Burrow here.
• 30:43
Speaker 1: You know, Caleb may keep the Bears in it, he's
• 30:45
Speaker 1: not gonna necessarily keep my fantasy team in it.
• 30:47
Speaker 2: I don't believe Lakwan. I'll start with you on this one.
• 30:50
  Speaker 2: Your guy RJ.
• 30:51
Speaker 1: Harvey against the Jacksonville Jaguars or the guy on the
• 30:54
Speaker 1: other side, Travis Etn against the Denver Broncos.
• 30:57
Speaker 3: I text you last night like you might as well
• 30:58
Speaker 3: just name this segment nasty, because this is a matchup
• 31:01
Speaker 3: where you're going against the number one and number two
• 31:03
Speaker 3: against the run. Like, You're not gonna really be satisfied
• 31:06
Speaker 3: if you're sitting here with either one of these guys.
• 31:08
Speaker 3: But I'm gonna go with trams Etn just because he's healthy.
• 31:11
Speaker 2: You know, you got r. J.
• 31:12
Speaker 3: Harvey that says he's fine, he's dealing with a rib injury.
• 31:14
Speaker 3: But traves et In to me just feels like the
• 31:16
  Speaker 3: safer bay here.
• 31:18
Speaker 2: Yeah, I would go with Etn as well, but I
• 31:21
Speaker 2: do think Arjie Harvey is also in play. This week,
• 31:23
Speaker 2: like he's been getting a lot of volume. They'll throw
• 31:25
Speaker 2: in him as a bit too, But I do agree.
• 31:28
Speaker 2: I think ETN just feels safer here. Yeah, I'm going
• 31:30
  Speaker 2: with ETN.
• 31:31
Speaker 1: In fact, if you watch this is if you watch
• 31:33
Speaker 1: NFL Fantasy Live on Friday, I'm gonna tell you why
• 31:35
  Speaker 1: you can start.
• 31:37
Speaker 2: Travis ETN and feel pretty good about it too. Yeah.
• 31:40
Speaker 1: Just doing some research and you kind of come across
• 31:42
Speaker 1: things you're like, oh, maybe this isn't as bad as
• 31:44
Speaker 1: I thought it would be. So I'd roll with ETN
• 31:46
Speaker 1: in that one, all right, Florio zay Flowers against the
• 31:50
Speaker 1: Patriots or Chris o'lave who is free of the satchel
• 31:53
  Speaker 1: of discontent against.
• 31:54
Speaker 2: The he's free the New York Jetropolitans. I think both
• 31:58
Speaker 2: are in play this week. But if I have to
• 31:59
Speaker 2: pick one, I'm gonna go with Chris Olavey because Tyler
• 32:02
Speaker 2: Schuck has been playing better ball than he gets credit for.
• 32:04
Speaker 2: I know he's an o Lamar Jackson or anything like that,
• 32:07
Speaker 2: but the volume just is more funneled through olave Like
• 32:11
Speaker 2: there's always a chance that the Ravens just run a
• 32:13
Speaker 2: ton and they could get their tight ends involved stuff.
• 32:16
Speaker 2: Like that. So, and the Jets have just been getting
• 32:19
Speaker 2: absolutely cooked on defense since the trade deadline. I'm gonna
• 32:22
  Speaker 2: go with love.
• 32:23
Speaker 3: Mm hmm, Chris o'lave. I mean, honestly, he gives you
• 32:25
Speaker 3: more stability at the position. I think Zay he could
• 32:28
Speaker 3: be in play to have a good week, But I
• 32:30
Speaker 3: just feel a lot more better about Chris o'lave because,
• 32:32
Speaker 3: plus we like Tyler Schuck.
• 32:33
Speaker 2: This week gets shucked up. I mean, I agree with
• 32:36
  Speaker 2: all of that.
• 32:36
Speaker 1: Also the fact that the Saints are literally just running
• 32:39
Speaker 1: out of people right now. I Devin Neil has been
• 32:42
Speaker 1: ruled out, so they're gonna go with some combination probably
• 32:45
Speaker 1: of object Estimate and Evan Hall. I guess we don't
• 32:48
Speaker 1: really know, at least at this moment, what Alvin Kamara's
• 32:51
Speaker 1: availability is going to be. Juwan Johnson has vanished from
• 32:56
Speaker 1: the face of the earth. It feels like, uh, you know,
• 32:58
Speaker 1: it hurts. It's chrys olama or nothing right at this point.
• 33:02
Speaker 1: On offense for the saying, so I would pick him
• 33:06
Speaker 1: one last one, and Floyd, I'll ask you this one.
• 33:10
Speaker 1: Travis Kelcey at the Tennessee Titans or Tyler Warren against
• 33:13
  Speaker 1: the forty nine.
• 33:14
Speaker 2: Ers Kelsey for me mintually through five passes last week,
• 33:18
Speaker 2: but four of them went to Travis kelce and I
• 33:20
Speaker 2: think he's gonna come in, especially for she Rice is out.
• 33:23
Speaker 2: He might get fifteen targets in this game, just out
• 33:26
Speaker 2: of necessity. And Warren, unfortunately, is someone that I'm putting
• 33:30
Speaker 2: on a lot of my benches this week.
• 33:32
Speaker 3: Yeah, Travis Kelcey for me, at least we can hope
• 33:34
Speaker 3: for that. You know, Garner Minshew targets him beyond five
• 33:37
Speaker 3: yards like that's kind of just where you're banking on here,
• 33:40
Speaker 3: because Tyler Warren, he would need a touchdown to be
• 33:42
Speaker 3: anywhere near Fantasy relevant because he doesn't have this have
• 33:46
Speaker 3: the yards upside. So gimme Kelsey, I will make that
• 33:48
  Speaker 3: a sweep.
• 33:49
Speaker 2: Go Kelsey as well.
• 33:50
Speaker 1: I have a bold prediction that potentially could involve indirectly
• 33:54
  Speaker 1: Travis Kelcey.
• 33:56
  Speaker 2: You know, just I don't.
• 33:59
Speaker 1: We just talked about the the Colts pass catchers and that,
• 34:01
Speaker 1: you know, beyond Josh downs and even that is sort
• 34:04
Speaker 1: of limited. There's just nobody there to really get super
• 34:06
Speaker 1: excited about in that Colts offense. Don't love that all right,
• 34:11
Speaker 1: So you know there's the either ors or as a
• 34:13
Speaker 1: lakwan and say nasty work.
• 34:16
  Speaker 2: Nasty work.
• 34:16
Speaker 1: Second, your fantasy Hey, look man like, this is the
• 34:19
Speaker 1: real stuff that folks gotta deal with. Man, times are
• 34:21
Speaker 1: tough in these fantasy streets. He's a big important decision.
• 34:24
Speaker 1: Get ready, it's time to get spicy with our hot
• 34:26
Speaker 1: takes for the week. If we're gonna get a little
• 34:28
Speaker 1: bit spicy, lakwan, what are we doing?
• 34:30
Speaker 3: Oh man, I'm going with cam Ward twenty five plus
• 34:33
  Speaker 3: fantasy points.
• 34:33
Speaker 2: I'm gonna throw in then you probably have two hundred and.
• 34:35
Speaker 3: Fifty plus passing yards as well, because I watched all
• 34:38
Speaker 3: fifty one drawbacks against Seattle that game where yeah, on purpose,
• 34:42
Speaker 3: because I wanted to see how he ended up with
• 34:44
Speaker 3: twenty three fantasy points against the Seahawks defense, and also
• 34:47
Speaker 3: doing some film, you know, see what the Rams can
• 34:49
Speaker 3: get up on with the Seahawks.
• 34:50
Speaker 2: But I do think this is a are you Cindy
• 34:53
Speaker 2: Sean McVay, like, what is happening here?
• 34:56
Speaker 3: I'm doing my best, but I'm just saying cam Ward
• 34:59
Speaker 3: he is a guy that has been getting out of
• 35:00
Speaker 3: the pocket a lot, and he's looked a lot better
• 35:02
  Speaker 3: in the.
• 35:02
Speaker 2: Last couple of weeks.
• 35:03
Speaker 3: So why not throw up a twenty five burger on
• 35:05
Speaker 3: the Chiefs defense, who are kind of middle of the
• 35:07
Speaker 3: pack as well, where their top ten and yards out
• 35:09
Speaker 3: there to catch, and I think with him being able
• 35:11
Speaker 3: to extend the place, there's opportunities for his pass catchers
• 35:14
Speaker 3: to get up the field. And Chiefs are actually kind
• 35:16
Speaker 3: of bad on third down, So for a quarterbacking to
• 35:18
Speaker 3: get out of pocket and extend the place, you're seeing
• 35:20
Speaker 3: these throws, You're seeing the opportunities. He's going downfield with
• 35:23
Speaker 3: nothing to lose. So a twenty five burger for Camboard
• 35:25
  Speaker 3: this week.
• 35:26
Speaker 1: Dude, I love seeing Calvin Ridley in the highlights, like,
• 35:28
Speaker 1: that's how far back some of these go.
• 35:30
Speaker 2: Look at that? Look at that?
• 35:31
Speaker 3: And then the Rams game, man, that was an impressive
• 35:33
Speaker 3: throw that he did make.
• 35:34
Speaker 1: It was It's not one that you would suggest or
• 35:36
Speaker 1: recommend to somebody, but he got away with it exactly.
• 35:39
Speaker 3: If you go back and watch all the dropbacks in
• 35:41
Speaker 3: he had a ton of those plays where he's just like,
• 35:43
Speaker 3: why are you throwing across your body near the sideline
• 35:46
Speaker 3: all the way across the field, Like, dude, you got
• 35:47
Speaker 3: that off, but don't do that again.
• 35:49
Speaker 1: You don't, right, Yeah, Floya's here your whole your bold prediction.
• 35:54
Speaker 2: Saquon Barkley's best Fantasy game of the season comes this week,
• 35:58
Speaker 2: So it would be thirty four more Fansta points because
• 36:00
Speaker 2: he's had one thirty three point game. But I think
• 36:03
Speaker 2: this is just a fantastic matchup. Since Week eleven, the
• 36:06
Speaker 2: Commanders are top three and explosive run rate and yards
• 36:09
Speaker 2: before contact, and that is the big thing. Last year's
• 36:12
Speaker 2: Saquon averaged over a full yard more before contact than
• 36:16
Speaker 2: he is this season. The Eagles O line isn't creating
• 36:18
Speaker 2: the same space that it did, but in this favorable
• 36:21
Speaker 2: matchup where he should have room to run, He's going
• 36:23
Speaker 2: to hit a couple of home runs. I think not surprising.
• 36:25
Speaker 2: I think Saquan is.
• 36:26
Speaker 1: In line for a big day against the coming I
• 36:28
Speaker 1: think the Eagles offense in general has a big day
• 36:30
Speaker 1: against the Commanders this week. For me, So what I
• 36:34
Speaker 1: wrote down is different that Gardnerman shoes. What I wrote
• 36:37
Speaker 1: down to the Garnerment shoe is going to be a
• 36:39
Speaker 1: top ten Fantasy quarterback this week on Fantasy Live. I
• 36:42
Speaker 1: was bullied into moving that up to top seven.
• 36:44
Speaker 2: Okay, I don't have to ask who.
• 36:47
Speaker 1: I got, but no it's not the first of you think,
• 36:49
Speaker 1: oh it really is not. No, but I was bullied
• 36:51
Speaker 1: into saying top seven. So what I'm gonna say is
• 36:53
Speaker 1: if it is top seven, I'm going to pretend like
• 36:56
Speaker 1: I took this was completely my idea. That's what I'm
• 36:59
  Speaker 1: gonna say.
• 37:00
Speaker 2: Look, part of it is the Titans.
• 37:03
Speaker 1: You know, eight straight games they've allowed at least two
• 37:06
Speaker 1: hundred and twenty passing yards from a quarterback. Over those
• 37:09
Speaker 1: eight games, they've given up eighteen touchdown passes with just
• 37:11
  Speaker 1: two interceptions.
• 37:13
Speaker 2: So the matchup is in favor of Gardner Minshew.
• 37:16
Speaker 1: The other thing that works for Minshew is we've seen
• 37:19
Speaker 1: all these backup quarterbacks who've shown up just looking kind
• 37:21
Speaker 1: of care free, playing with nothing to lose, playing free
• 37:24
Speaker 1: and easy and lose. That's Gardner Minshew's whole thing. It's
• 37:27
Speaker 1: always been Gardner Minshew's whole thing. So why can't he
• 37:30
Speaker 1: come in here and be a Joe Flacco Jacobe Brissett. Yeah,
• 37:34
Speaker 1: at least for a week or two, especially against a
• 37:36
Speaker 1: bad defense. So Gardner Minshew, you know, if you're playing DFS,
• 37:40
Speaker 1: I wouldn't recommend doing this, and like, you know, to
• 37:42
Speaker 1: try to get to your Fantasy Championship week. But if
• 37:45
Speaker 1: you're gonna play some daily fantasy or something like that,
• 37:47
Speaker 1: then Gardner Minshew is very much in play.
• 37:49
  Speaker 2: So you go.
• 37:50
Speaker 1: Those are our hot Takes, presented by Frank's Red Hot Olk.
• 37:54
Speaker 1: He was good to see you in studio later in
• 37:55
Speaker 1: the week. We don't usually see you here. You're no
• 37:57
Speaker 1: I normally a voice in a box, but we appreciate
• 38:00
Speaker 1: you hanging out with Matte Next week, you man time
• 38:04
Speaker 1: Ond's again to be joined by our friend in NFL
• 38:07
Speaker 1: network reporter Kim. I was gonna say, Caim ward I
• 38:11
Speaker 1: was looking at something else. I got all distracted.
• 38:13
Speaker 2: Cam Wolfe is the guy who's joining us. You know,
• 38:15
Speaker 2: no disrespect to cam Ward, but I've done it the
• 38:18
Speaker 2: inverse one time. I'm on a different show. I was
• 38:20
Speaker 2: talking about Kim Warden and I was like, again him
• 38:22
Speaker 2: wolf and I was like.
• 38:22
Speaker 4: Wait, no, I'm sorry, Yeah, I love to I love
• 38:26
Speaker 4: that cop number one overall.
• 38:28
  Speaker 2: Pick.
• 38:28
Speaker 4: I know the year hasn't gone as great, but I'll
• 38:30
Speaker 4: be cam Ward any day of the week. That's good.
• 38:33
Speaker 4: It's a good, good stepping up in life for me.
• 38:35
Speaker 1: Not a bad spot to me at all. Let's talk
• 38:39
Speaker 1: about some other quarterback situations, because it seems like every
• 38:41
Speaker 1: week we talk to you, there's like some quarterback changes, good,
• 38:44
Speaker 1: bad whatever. This one afterly not a good one. Patrick
• 38:47
Speaker 1: Mahomes unfortunately done for the year after a knee injury.
• 38:51
Speaker 1: Chiefs out of the playoffs now have a lot of
• 38:54
Speaker 1: questions about this Kansas City team. How different do you
• 38:57
Speaker 1: expect this Chief's offense to look next year?
• 39:00
Speaker 4: Extremely I think this will be the most extensive overhaul
• 39:04
Speaker 4: the Chiefs will have in the Patrick Mahomes era. They
• 39:07
Speaker 4: were already trending towards a team that knew they had
• 39:10
Speaker 4: to function their offense differently. They've essentially doubled down and
• 39:15
Speaker 4: tripled down on wide receivers that haven't really worked out
• 39:18
Speaker 4: for the most part, and they've abandoned that running game.
• 39:20
Speaker 4: And so because of that, you see Patrick Mahomes having
• 39:23
Speaker 4: to be superhero all the time and leads to kind
• 39:26
Speaker 4: of the injury that we saw from him last week.
• 39:28
Speaker 4: And so I'd expect them to look vastly into running
• 39:33
Speaker 4: back upgrades this offseason. They're gonna have to find a
• 39:35
Speaker 4: new tight end because it sounds like we're getting closer
• 39:37
Speaker 4: and closer to a Travis Kelsey retirement, and then how
• 39:40
Speaker 4: do you function a little bit more on time. Seems
• 39:43
Speaker 4: like their offense has become backyard football because of Travis
• 39:47
Speaker 4: and Patrick's relationship. I think they'll have to go back
• 39:50
Speaker 4: and maybe even add an additional coach in the building
• 39:52
Speaker 4: to give them a little bit more structure within that offense.
• 39:56
Speaker 2: And you cover the Dolphins very closely, obviously a huge
• 40:00
Speaker 2: I don't think anyone was shocked that Tua got denched.
• 40:02
Speaker 2: I do think people were a little surprised that they're
• 40:04
Speaker 2: going with quinn Ewers though, So what do you think
• 40:07
Speaker 2: the Dolphins offense with yours at the helm will look like.
• 40:11
Speaker 4: I'm waiting to see what the results are. I saw
• 40:14
Speaker 4: him in camp and there was, you know, to a
• 40:16
Speaker 4: starter for a reason. It wasn't necessarily the best thing
• 40:19
  Speaker 4: I saw. He's a rookie, seventh round pick. I just
• 40:22
Speaker 4: think that it's a smart move if you're gonna bench
• 40:24
Speaker 4: to it, to see your young guy, see how he developed,
• 40:27
Speaker 4: see what he can do on the field. He did
• 40:28
Speaker 4: have a small spurt against Cleveland, as we're seeing here
• 40:32
Speaker 4: laden garbage time, he played solid. He's kind of got
• 40:35
Speaker 4: a gamer mantra from the coaches here. You know he
• 40:39
Speaker 4: didn't always have the best practices, but when they saw
• 40:42
Speaker 4: him in the preseason, when they saw him against Cleveland,
• 40:44
Speaker 4: they saw him play with a different level of decisiveness.
• 40:46
Speaker 4: And the decisive word is really what they're leaning on
• 40:49
Speaker 4: because Tua this year just was not pulling the trigger.
• 40:52
Speaker 4: He was not the accurate, the anticipation thrower. And so
• 40:55
Speaker 4: the hope is they can function this offense a little
• 40:58
Speaker 4: bit quicker with the guy who's ready to prove that
• 41:02
Speaker 4: he's worthy to be an NFL.
• 41:05
Speaker 1: That being said, for a lot of fantasy folks, Darren
• 41:07
Speaker 1: Waller has been a nice addition to rosters over the
• 41:10
Speaker 1: last few weeks. He doesn't catch the ball a lot,
• 41:12
Speaker 1: but when he does, more often than that, it seems
• 41:13
Speaker 1: to be a touchdown. Do you think we'll still see
• 41:15
Speaker 1: a lot of Darren Waller in the offense with Quinn Ewers.
• 41:18
  Speaker 2: Yeah.
• 41:18
Speaker 4: I think fantasy fans were hoping we waited one more
• 41:21
Speaker 4: week for two because he's got a delicious matchup against
• 41:23
Speaker 4: this Bengals defense that has like shredded cheese against tight ends.
• 41:28
  Speaker 4: I don't know a lot because we just don't have
• 41:29
Speaker 4: a sample size of Quinn Eewers. Of knowing where his
• 41:33
Speaker 4: target points are within the offense. I'd imagine that you
• 41:36
Speaker 4: see a big six to six weapon in the red
• 41:38
Speaker 4: zone and it's easy whether you're too or quinn Ewers.
• 41:42
Speaker 4: But so much of Darren Waller's success has been low
• 41:45
Speaker 4: volume red zone touches, and so it's not really predictable.
• 41:49
Speaker 4: He goes through games sometimes where he doesn't have a
• 41:52
Speaker 4: target for three quarters and then all of a sudden,
• 41:54
Speaker 4: he gets five catches in two minutes, including a couple touchdowns.
• 41:57
Speaker 4: So it's always going to be a little high risk,
• 41:59
Speaker 4: and even more without Tua. But if you're in a
• 42:01
Speaker 4: spot that you need the upside for a tight end,
• 42:04
Speaker 4: Waller's been excellent for them in the red zone, and
• 42:06
  Speaker 4: I think he'll certainly be a target again against a
• 42:09
Speaker 4: Bengals defense that can't stop a tight end from high school.
• 42:13
Speaker 2: It seems like this year, uh, speaking of can't stop
• 42:18
Speaker 2: a tight end from high school, it's kind of the
• 42:20
Speaker 2: opposite in Vegas. I don't know if they would score
• 42:23
Speaker 2: against a high school defense. Do you think? Simple question,
• 42:27
Speaker 2: do they score a touchdown against Auston this week?
• 42:30
Speaker 4: You know? Inact? In fact, in fact, I'm curious, not
• 42:34
Speaker 4: that I would bet, but what the odds are on
• 42:37
Speaker 4: whether the Texas defense or the Raiders offense scores more points.
• 42:42
Speaker 4: You know, I wouldn't be shocked if it's a Texas defense.
• 42:45
Speaker 4: I think that we're just as likely to see a
• 42:48
Speaker 4: defensive touchdown than a Raiders offensive touchdown. You know that
• 42:51
Speaker 4: if they thought the Eagles were bad last week, wait,
• 42:54
Speaker 4: so they still see Will Anderson and Daniel Hunter and
• 42:56
  Speaker 4: Derek Stingley.
• 42:58
  Speaker 2: Yeah.
• 42:58
Speaker 1: I was gonna say that maybe the Raiders could use
• 43:01
Speaker 1: the fact that, you know, they play in Las Vegas
• 43:04
  Speaker 1: to there.
• 43:04
Speaker 2: But like, this game's in Houston.
• 43:06
Speaker 4: It's not like, you know, like there's been The Texans
• 43:09
Speaker 4: are still looking up in their divisions, so they have
• 43:11
Speaker 4: plenty to play for. You can't expect them to just
• 43:14
Speaker 4: sleep walk. I don't know, maybe somebody falls asleep and
• 43:17
Speaker 4: Brock Bowers sneaks into the end zone. I don't know.
• 43:20
Speaker 4: There is just not a lot of hope with this
• 43:22
  Speaker 4: Raiders team.
• 43:22
Speaker 1: I mean, I was just hoping if you're the Raiders,
• 43:24
Speaker 1: maybe you can, like, you know, hope that Will Anderson
• 43:27
Speaker 1: is out too late at Caesars the night before or
• 43:29
  Speaker 1: something like that.
• 43:30
Speaker 2: But like that's just like I have it. My favorite things, oh,
• 43:34
Speaker 2: go ahead, scenarios where it's like if if the Raiders,
• 43:37
Speaker 2: if the Texans lose this week, this team could clinch.
• 43:39
  Speaker 2: It's like, come on, let's.
• 43:42
Speaker 4: Maybe when it's thirty three to nothing and you're you're
• 43:45
Speaker 4: triding out there for the drive, that's the one that
• 43:46
  Speaker 4: touch down.
• 43:47
Speaker 2: All that's what happened.
• 43:49
Speaker 1: Meanwhile, you talk about the the Texans looking up and
• 43:52
Speaker 1: trying to win their division, You've got a dogfight going
• 43:55
Speaker 1: on in the AFC North between these Steelers and the Ravens.
• 43:59
Speaker 2: Who do you think he's up being the division.
• 44:01
Speaker 1: Because I feel like that's the only team that's going
• 44:02
Speaker 1: to get the playoffs in that division. Who wins that division?
• 44:05
  Speaker 1: To you?
• 44:05
Speaker 4: For sure, most of the year, the answer to me
• 44:08
Speaker 4: would have been the Ravens. I thought they were the
• 44:09
Speaker 4: more talented team. You've got Lamar, you've got Derrick Henry,
• 44:13
Speaker 4: and the Steelers that it seemed like they were combustible,
• 44:15
Speaker 4: especially in that middle point of a year. But then
• 44:17
Speaker 4: I saw the Steelers. I was there for Monday Night's game,
• 44:19
Speaker 4: and I saw a different Steelers team than I saw
• 44:22
Speaker 4: for most of the year. Even without TJ.
• 44:24
  Speaker 2: Watt.
• 44:25
Speaker 4: Aaron Rodgers was balling in his pocket, Kenneth Gainwell was unleashed,
• 44:30
Speaker 4: and Arthur Smith was so comfortable. He got two tight
• 44:32
Speaker 4: ends rushing touchdowns, and the defense started to have a
• 44:36
Speaker 4: different energy and spark. And you look at the way
• 44:39
Speaker 4: the schedule is set up the Steelers. The Steelers, all
• 44:41
Speaker 4: they have to do is win Week EIGHTEAM at home
• 44:43
Speaker 4: and they win that division. Doesn't matter what they do
• 44:45
Speaker 4: the next two weeks. I think the Steelers win this division.
• 44:47
Speaker 4: I think they've got enough on defense. I'm still concerned
• 44:51
Speaker 4: by the Ravens offense and this version of Lamar not
• 44:54
Speaker 4: looking as explosive, and if you have a close defensive battle,
• 44:58
Speaker 4: I just trust the Steelers defen fence and their situational
• 45:01
Speaker 4: football more than I do the Ravens.
• 45:04
Speaker 2: That Week eighteen game has Game two seventy two written
• 45:07
Speaker 2: all over it for sure. Speaking of AFC North, where
• 45:11
Speaker 2: are you going to be this week?
• 45:13
Speaker 4: I am going up to Cleveland. I have been in
• 45:16
Speaker 4: Cleveland a lot more than I thought for the record
• 45:19
Speaker 4: they have, but they have interesting people, including you know,
• 45:22
Speaker 4: a quarterback in Shador Sanders that's trying to prove that
• 45:25
Speaker 4: he can be the guy in twenty twenty six and
• 45:27
Speaker 4: Miles Garrett, who is one sack away from tying the
• 45:30
Speaker 4: NFL sack record. And then of course they're playing Josh
• 45:33
Speaker 4: Allen and the Bills, a team that you know you
• 45:35
Speaker 4: can't help, but look around at the AFC and see
• 45:37
Speaker 4: no Chiefs, no Bengals, potentially no Ravens, and say, why
• 45:42
  Speaker 4: isn't this there a year? So I think a real
• 45:44
Speaker 4: contender in the Bills, and then the Browns trying to
• 45:48
Speaker 4: get a record and see if their quarterback can continue
• 45:51
Speaker 4: to keep this job.
• 45:52
Speaker 2: All right, I mean, definitely some interesting storylines there. We
• 45:55
Speaker 2: know the Cleveland Airport pretty we are familiar to Cleveland Airport.
• 45:58
Speaker 2: We've never actually been in the city.
• 46:00
Speaker 1: We land, we get our bags, we get our rental car,
• 46:03
Speaker 1: we drive the Canton like.
• 46:04
Speaker 2: That's kind of the whole of it for us. Absolutely, Ken,
• 46:07
Speaker 2: before we let you go. Fantasy team update.
• 46:10
Speaker 4: Man, I got beat in one of my leagues.
• 46:13
Speaker 2: I was the one seed.
• 46:14
Speaker 4: I got beat by a six and eight team that
• 46:17
Speaker 4: was the eight seed. The folks in my league are laughing.
• 46:20
Speaker 4: They're calling me that we believe warriors. I was thirteen
• 46:23
Speaker 4: and one all year and my guys didn't even play well.
• 46:28
Speaker 4: I played poorly. He just had an incredible heater he
• 46:31
Speaker 4: went off. I think he had Kyle Pitt starting. It's
• 46:35
Speaker 4: kind of crazy fluke and so I just got to
• 46:37
Speaker 4: tip my hat. But I'm still going in my other
• 46:39
Speaker 4: league and hopefully I'll least get one title this year.
• 46:42
Speaker 1: It's all you can ask for once you're the playoffs,
• 46:44
Speaker 1: sort of like anything can happen. But as long as
• 46:46
Speaker 1: you keep playing, then you're good.
• 46:48
Speaker 4: I should be mandatory. I just on a three thirteen
• 46:50
Speaker 4: and one team has an even shot for the six
• 46:53
  Speaker 4: and eight team.
• 46:57
Speaker 2: You on that one for sure.
• 46:58
Speaker 1: I just always appreciate you hanging out with us. Ask
• 47:00
Speaker 1: for everybody else. That is it.
• 47:02
  Speaker 2: We are done.
• 47:02
Speaker 1: We appreciate you hanging out with the NFL Fantasy Football Show.
• 47:05
Speaker 2: You know the drill.
• 47:06
Speaker 1: Tell two friends to tell two friends rate review and remember,
• 47:09
Speaker 1: good judgment comes from experience, and experience comes from bad judgment.
• 47:13
Speaker 1: Be safe to carry yourselves at Joy Week sixteen. We'll
• 47:15
Speaker 1: talk to you again on Monday.
