- 0:03Speaker 1: Hey, this is Doug Jones from the Hellboy movies and
- 0:05Speaker 1: the Silver Surfer and Pan's Labyrinth and Hocus Pocus, Falling Skies,
- 0:09Speaker 1: and so much more. But today, you are listening to
- 0:12Speaker 1: Movie Meltdown.
- 0:17Speaker 2: This episode is rated M for Misty. Yes, that's right,
- 0:20Speaker 2: this is a Misty episode, so it will be laced
- 0:22Speaker 2: with profanity even more than usual. If you're not comfortable
- 0:25Speaker 2: with this level of profanity, perhaps this isn't the episode
- 0:28Speaker 2: for you. But we have many other episodes to choose
- 0:30Speaker 2: from that do not feature Misty, and will probably be
- 0:33Speaker 2: far less offensive. Okay, maybe. That having been said, on
- 0:37Speaker 2: with the show.
- 0:39Speaker 3: It's showtime, folks. Enjoy the show. Our nuclear reactor pumping
- 0:44Speaker 3: out one million kilowatts of power.
- 1:24Speaker 4: What's up?
- 1:24Speaker 5: Welcome to Movie Meltdown.
- 1:25Speaker 6: I'm Brian.
- 1:25Speaker 2: I'm Misty.
- 1:26Speaker 3: Hey, I'm Jay. And we're coming to you live via
- 1:29Speaker 3: digital recording from the road.
- 1:52Speaker 7: As we head out for another one of those crazy
- 1:55Speaker 7: road trip episodes. So, we are coming back from Scarefest.
- 2:00Speaker 4: I love Scarefest.
- 2:02Speaker 8: What were some of the fun activities you had today, Misty?
- 2:07Speaker 4: Just the general walking around and making fun of people.
- 2:10Speaker 8: We would never do anything such as that.
- 2:13Speaker 4: I am all for people who wear costumes as long
- 2:16Speaker 4: as they fully coordinate their outfit and don't just half-ass it.
- 2:19Speaker 4: Or if you're going to half-ass it, at least Go
- 2:22Speaker 4: all out half-assing it. Don't half-ass it just for the
- 2:25Speaker 4: sake of half-assing it.
- 2:27Speaker 8: Is it going to involve footwear?
- 2:29Speaker 4: It is going to involve footwear.
- 2:30Speaker 8: That's your standard complaint.
- 2:33Speaker 4: Footwear and eyewear. I'm sorry, but Maleficent did not wear glasses,
- 2:39Speaker 4: nor did she wear flip-flops. That's just not proper villainous attire.
- 2:45Speaker 7: So if you wear glasses, you either have to pick
- 2:49Speaker 7: a villain who wears glasses.
- 2:50Speaker 4: Or wear some fucking contacts.
- 2:51Speaker 8: Or wear contacts.
- 2:52Speaker 4: If you're a villain, you should be okay with sticking
- 2:54Speaker 4: your finger in your eyeball.
- 2:56Speaker 8: That or just be the Baroness.
- 2:58Speaker 4: Well, yeah, that too. But yeah, I mean, we did
- 3:02Speaker 4: see quite a few pretty well thought out, put together costumes.
- 3:07Speaker 4: Some I still have no idea what they were going for,
- 3:09Speaker 4: but maybe.
- 3:11Speaker 9: Dubstep Cobra Commander?
- 3:12Speaker 4: Yeah, I'm still not sure what that one's all about.
- 3:16Speaker 7: I still feel like it was like Cobra Commander's shiny
- 3:19Speaker 7: dome face, but he just kind of was wearing like
- 3:21Speaker 7: a hoodie.
- 3:23Speaker 4: It was casual.
- 3:24Speaker 7: Yeah, I said it was Cobra Commander goes to the grocery,
- 3:27Speaker 7: like just picking out snacks for the weeks for the troops.
- 3:30Speaker 4: Or it's Cobra Commander Jr. Maybe that's his son.
- 3:33Speaker 10: Could be.
- 3:34Speaker 8: Could be.
- 3:35Speaker 9: You can't tell me what to do.
- 3:37Speaker 8: You put on a uniform.
- 3:39Speaker 4: No.
- 3:41Speaker 9: Damn these kids.
- 3:42Speaker 4: I'm telling you, no respect.
- 3:44Speaker 9: Sipenter makes me do anything I want.
- 3:47Speaker 8: When you're with him, that's one thing. We have shared time.
- 3:51Speaker 9: I'm going to go hang out with him.
- 3:54Speaker 8: Oh, good lord. All right, but don't turn on that
- 3:58Speaker 8: Taylor Swift again.
- 3:59Speaker 4: I have no idea what's going on.
- 4:01Speaker 8: But it was a scene from our movie we're writing.
- 4:05Speaker 4: Destro knows how I feel.
- 4:08Speaker 8: You tell that chrome dome he has no place in
- 4:10Speaker 8: your life.
- 4:11Speaker 4: Oh, good lords.
- 4:13Speaker 9: He's more of a dad than you'll ever be.
- 4:17Speaker 8: Oh, Lord, we've gotten out of control.
- 4:20Speaker 9: It's going to be a whole podcast of us just
- 4:24Speaker 9: going back and forth, so let's stop.
- 4:26Speaker 7: I mean, if you guys are looking for that, email
- 4:28Speaker 7: in and let us know, because we could probably put
- 4:30Speaker 7: that together for you.
- 4:31Speaker 4: It's going to be a soap opera of the life
- 4:32Speaker 4: and times of Cobra Commander's son and their need therapy.
- 4:38Speaker 9: What's his son's name? What would it be?
- 4:40Speaker 4: Cobra Commander, Jr.
- 4:42Speaker 9: That it?
- 4:43Speaker 8: But he calls him Skippy.
- 4:45Speaker 9: Skippy Commander Junior?
- 4:49Speaker 4: Well, do you have any better suggestions?
- 4:53Speaker 2: Uh, no.
- 4:55Speaker 4: I mean, is Cobra Commander, is that his actual name?
- 4:58Speaker 4: Or did he have like a code name?
- 5:01Speaker 9: It was actually Frank Commander.
- 5:03Speaker 4: Are you making this up?
- 5:06Speaker 9: No, seriously, it's Frank Commander.
- 5:09Speaker 4: I'm doubting you right now.
- 5:12Speaker 9: Look it up.
- 5:13Speaker 4: Oh, no.
- 5:14Speaker 7: Cut out the card on the back of your, you know,
- 5:17Speaker 7: blister pack. And then file it away in your G.I.
- 5:20Speaker 7: Joe card catalog.
- 5:22Speaker 4: We did not see anybody there officially in G.I. Joe
- 5:26Speaker 4: gear that I'm aware of.
- 5:28Speaker 9: No, there wasn't.
- 5:29Speaker 4: Usually we see at least one, like, Cobra Commander or
- 5:32Speaker 4: some variety of some, you know, at least a Baroness
- 5:36Speaker 4: or something.
- 5:36Speaker 5: This is the paranormal horror convention, so there were more
- 5:41Speaker 5: clowns running around. There's nothing more paranormal than clowns. Well,
- 5:47Speaker 5: you know. Most people are scared of clowns. I just
- 5:53Speaker 5: don't like them.
- 5:55Speaker 4: I'm not a big fan of them myself. At least
- 5:56Speaker 4: they weren't doing that obnoxious thing where they run at
- 5:58Speaker 4: you and jump up in your face. That probably would
- 6:01Speaker 4: have not ended well. No. No. It's for the best
- 6:04Speaker 4: they have a no weapons policy in there, I think.
- 6:10Speaker 4: I love going to Scarefest. It's one of my favorite
- 6:12Speaker 4: conventions to go to. I mean, it's always got a
- 6:15Speaker 4: good feel to it. It's never too crowded. There's always room.
- 6:18Speaker 4: It's never too obnoxious as opposed to some conventions that
- 6:22Speaker 4: we've gone to in the past.
- 6:24Speaker 8: It's always really fun. It is. It's just sort of
- 6:27Speaker 8: relaxed and kind of fun.
- 6:28Speaker 4: I always have a nice selection of guests. I didn't
- 6:31Speaker 4: get anybody's autograph this year, but there were a couple
- 6:33Speaker 4: that I thought about getting. I thought about getting Angus
- 6:36Speaker 4: Scrims before he finally does kick off because he is
- 6:38Speaker 4: getting up there, but I'll be damned. He's canceled again
- 6:40Speaker 4: because he's all sickly, which I feel bad for him.
- 6:43Speaker 9: You can always get Reggie's.
- 6:44Speaker 4: I am creeped out by Reggie. He is just.
- 6:47Speaker 8: Don't you worry. Reggie will be there.
- 6:50Speaker 4: He will be there to console me? Is that what
- 6:52Speaker 4: you're trying to say?
- 6:52Speaker 8: If you want, he'll come over to your house.
- 6:54Speaker 9: And help out. Take you in the back hallway.
- 6:59Speaker 4: Console me. that guy's so creepy but uh i thought
- 7:03Speaker 4: about getting angus scrims but he canceled due to illness
- 7:05Speaker 4: i'm not trying to talk bad about him in any
- 7:06Speaker 4: way i understand i mean he is your grandpa he
- 7:09Speaker 4: is my adopted grandpa and i would totally like hang
- 7:11Speaker 4: out with him i'd hang out with him but then
- 7:14Speaker 4: i thought about i i keep saying every time that
- 7:16Speaker 4: chad lindbergh is there i'm like i'm totally gonna get
- 7:19Speaker 4: the what's his name again uh dr badass I was like,
- 7:24Speaker 4: this time I'm going to get Dr. Badass' autograph. And
- 7:27Speaker 4: I never do. So then I'm like, eh, 20 bucks,
- 7:29Speaker 4: you know. I could, like, go buy some books or something.
- 7:33Speaker 8: Which, of course, you do.
- 7:34Speaker 4: I did. I bought $ 20 worth of books today. I'm
- 7:36Speaker 4: pretty proud of myself. And they were at half price books.
- 7:38Speaker 4: So I bought, like, a crap ton of books. And
- 7:40Speaker 4: they were all, like, $ 1 or $ 2. Good times. And
- 7:45Speaker 4: then I was going to get... Robert Mooks. Mooks? How
- 7:48Speaker 4: do you say his... Mooks? I don't know how to
- 7:49Speaker 4: say his last name.
- 7:50Speaker 8: I think you went through this last time he was on.
- 7:52Speaker 4: I probably will every time go through this. Robert Mooks.
- 7:55Speaker 4: But he had a messy man bun instead of like
- 7:57Speaker 4: the cute braided pigtails. Because, I mean, that's kind of
- 7:59Speaker 4: a deal breaker for me. If he had the pigtails,
- 8:01Speaker 4: it would have been on.
- 8:03Speaker 7: It wasn't the crazy train wreck hair bun that Jason
- 8:06Speaker 7: Mewes had going on a couple weeks back.
- 8:08Speaker 4: He is always a damn train wreck. I have no
- 8:10Speaker 4: idea what's going on with him half the time.
- 8:12Speaker 7: His was a little tighter and more in control, but
- 8:15Speaker 7: still not quite as adorable as the braided pigtails were
- 8:19Speaker 7: last time.
- 8:19Speaker 8: Oh, my gosh.
- 8:20Speaker 4: I thought I'd go over and pull him, but I
- 8:22Speaker 4: didn't because he's way bigger than me. Did you know
- 8:25Speaker 4: Jason Mewes has his own line of, was it vapor juices?
- 8:31Speaker 9: Yeah, it's vape juice.
- 8:34Speaker 4: It's called Mewes juice, and I want nothing to do
- 8:36Speaker 4: with that. I'm sorry.
- 8:38Speaker 8: I've got to say I'm on board with that one. Nope,
- 8:41Speaker 8: don't want any part in that.
- 8:42Speaker 4: No, that just sounds gross. I want no part of
- 8:44Speaker 4: muse juice. I'm sorry.
- 8:45Speaker 9: You don't smoke anyway, so there's no reason for you
- 8:47Speaker 9: to vape.
- 8:48Speaker 4: But even if I did, muse juice?
- 8:51Speaker 8: No thank you.
- 8:52Speaker 9: Yeah, whatever.
- 8:53Speaker 7: In our usual fashion on our trip to Lexington, we
- 8:56Speaker 7: stopped off to get stuff. Do you want to cover
- 8:58Speaker 7: some of the other fun things you went looking for
- 9:01Speaker 7: and or bought?
- 9:04Speaker 4: I mentioned that we went to Half Price Books. That's
- 9:06Speaker 4: always exciting for me. Whenever we go to any city
- 9:08Speaker 4: where there are Half Price Books, it's just....
- 9:12Speaker 8: If only you could read, it would be so much
- 9:14Speaker 8: more useful.
- 9:15Speaker 4: I know, but I found not even one choose-your-own-adventure book today.
- 9:19Speaker 4: No choose-your-own-adventures. I have no adventures to choose from.
- 9:22Speaker 7: I did find you a fancy pop-up book, but it
- 9:24Speaker 7: was in a glass case and you couldn't afford it.
- 9:25Speaker 8: That was expensive. It was a very expensive, but it
- 9:27Speaker 8: was old and it was like... Kittens.
- 9:29Speaker 7: Special motion action pop-up book. I don't know exactly what
- 9:33Speaker 7: was going on in that book, but it seemed pretty exciting.
- 9:35Speaker 4: But there were kittens.
- 9:37Speaker 7: Well, I still think my most impressive thing that I got...
- 9:41Speaker 7: Was this 8x10 black and white photo here.
- 9:45Speaker 4: It is quite snazzy. We got that from the flea market,
- 9:48Speaker 4: or the Peddler's Mall. That did not come from the bookstore.
- 9:50Speaker 8: Just one of our shopping outings around town today.
- 9:54Speaker 4: The Peddler's Mall in Lexington, which is also one of
- 9:55Speaker 4: my favorite stops. Good times.
- 9:57Speaker 8: But, yeah, it is.
- 10:00Speaker 7: it is of Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, and Harrison Ford.
- 10:04Speaker 7: But it's not your standard.
- 10:07Speaker 8: Costume on set kind of a thing. Are they at
- 10:09Speaker 8: a diner or something? See, that's the thing. You would think.
- 10:13Speaker 7: Because it looks kind of like it was a studio
- 10:16Speaker 7: black and white, but looking at it, there's no studio
- 10:19Speaker 7: label on it. It doesn't have the weird numbering system
- 10:22Speaker 7: going on like a lot of those do. So then
- 10:24Speaker 7: it's not like it's on set. Like you said, at
- 10:27Speaker 7: first it does look like they're at a counter at
- 10:29Speaker 7: a diner, but then if you look behind them, there's
- 10:32Speaker 7: a bunch of vending machines. So I'm like, are they
- 10:34Speaker 7: in the brick room at the studio? I don't know
- 10:36Speaker 7: what's going on. But they're all totally in civilian gear.
- 10:41Speaker 7: Let's see, Mark Hamill is wearing... A fire sale t-shirt.
- 10:45Speaker 7: I have no idea what that is. I'm not sure
- 10:46Speaker 7: what fire sale is. I'm going to go with a band.
- 10:49Speaker 7: He was into music back in the day. But yeah,
- 10:52Speaker 7: he's wearing a fire sale t-shirt. Han Solo there, scoundrel
- 10:57Speaker 7: that he is, is drinking a Welch's. Welch's juice of
- 11:01Speaker 7: some sort. So he's a rebel. Here's the real rebel.
- 11:05Speaker 7: Carrie Fisher in the middle, smoking.
- 11:08Speaker 4: Crazy talk.
- 11:09Speaker 8: And I'm sure.
- 11:10Speaker 7: That's the worst vice she ever had. But I think
- 11:14Speaker 7: we also proved the point that we made a couple
- 11:16Speaker 7: weeks back. As she walked by us a couple weeks ago,
- 11:19Speaker 7: we were like, man.
- 11:20Speaker 8: She's short. Smoking, kids. One more reason. Stay off the cigarettes.
- 11:25Speaker 4: It makes you short and makes you wear bedazzling shoes.
- 11:28Speaker 8: And eventually you'll get old.
- 11:31Speaker 4: And bedazzling shoes.
- 11:33Speaker 7: So just say no to cigarettes and you'll never get old.
- 11:36Speaker 4: And say no to bedazzling shoes.
- 11:38Speaker 7: It depends on how cool they are. They have those
- 11:41Speaker 7: ones now that are tennis shoes and the whole toes
- 11:43Speaker 7: light up and glitter. That's pretty exciting. I saw the
- 11:46Speaker 7: commercial for that the other day. I was like, why
- 11:47Speaker 7: can't I have tennis shoes that toes light up and glitter?
- 11:50Speaker 4: None of those for you.
- 11:51Speaker 2: It's not fair.
- 11:53Speaker 7: Anyway, I'm still pretty thrilled with that photo. I have
- 11:55Speaker 7: no idea why it was taken. It has completely nothing
- 11:59Speaker 7: to do with anything going on related to that movie
- 12:01Speaker 7: that they were shooting at the time. It's a very casual,
- 12:05Speaker 7: off-the-set kind of photo. I'm not sure how it made
- 12:08Speaker 7: its way out into the world, but If anybody's really interested,
- 12:11Speaker 7: email in and I'll send you a.
- 12:13Speaker 2: Copy of it.
- 12:14Speaker 4: It is pretty awesome. I forget what else. We already
- 12:18Speaker 4: left the Peddler's Mall and we ate food. So, like,
- 12:20Speaker 4: things have happened since I bought things. So, I don't
- 12:23Speaker 4: remember what I bought.
- 12:25Speaker 8: You bought books.
- 12:25Speaker 4: I bought some books.
- 12:26Speaker 11: I did.
- 12:27Speaker 4: And I bought some magazines. I remember that now. They're, like,
- 12:30Speaker 4: gossip magazines from, like, the 70s and 80s.
- 12:33Speaker 9: Teen gossip.
- 12:34Speaker 4: That's my favorite kind of gossip right there. Like... One
- 12:39Speaker 4: of them's got like Burt Reynolds and Clint Eastwood.
- 12:42Speaker 8: Did you get that one with Burt Reynolds and the dog?
- 12:45Speaker 4: I did not get the one with Burt Reynolds.
- 12:46Speaker 8: Oh man, that was the best cover of the bunch.
- 12:48Speaker 4: He was getting ready to make out with that dog.
- 12:49Speaker 8: That dog was already licking his face when they took
- 12:51Speaker 8: the photo. God knows what happened after that.
- 12:53Speaker 4: That is disgusting. If you are a people and you
- 12:56Speaker 4: let dogs lick your face, just stop. They lick their buttholes, people.
- 13:02Speaker 8: Good lord.
- 13:04Speaker 4: They eat poop. Don't let them lick you. In the face.
- 13:09Speaker 8: We have a lot of public service announcements on this episode.
- 13:13Speaker 8: I am.
- 13:14Speaker 4: Look, I'm doing the people a service.
- 13:16Speaker 8: The more you know.
- 13:20Speaker 6: In case you haven't guessed, sweet little Christy McNichol isn't
- 13:24Speaker 6: that little anymore.
- 13:25Speaker 8: In the night, the lights went out in Georgia.
- 13:30Speaker 5: Girls, this is my little sister.
- 13:31Speaker 4: This is a man.
- 13:32Speaker 8: Maybe they can help us find a doctor to cure
- 13:35Speaker 8: up that nasty infection you got.
- 13:37Speaker 4: I mean, it's not dangerous or anything.
- 13:39Speaker 8: No, no, no.
- 13:40Speaker 4: Hold it, girl. Now, hold it.
- 13:41Speaker 12: Now, don't listen to this little nitwit here because she's
- 13:44Speaker 12: drunk and she's tired of the side.
- 13:46Speaker 11: Don't you ever touch this dog!
- 13:49Speaker 4: This dog is trained to kill!
- 13:50Speaker 13: You're crazier than I am, you know that?
- 13:57Speaker 2: Christy McNichol.
- 13:59Speaker 10: Dennis Quaid. Mark Hamill.
- 14:02Speaker 8: I think you've got a few things to learn.
- 14:05Speaker 4: Are you going to teach me, Mr. State Trooper?
- 14:10Speaker 9: I just might.
- 14:12Speaker 2: He's got the talent. She's got the brain.
- 14:15Speaker 5: Together, they're one mean team.
- 14:21Speaker 2: In the night, the lights went out in Georgia.
- 14:29Speaker 13: This episode is brought to you by Crosley Turntables. Starting
- 14:32Speaker 13: back in 1920, the Crosley Company produced the first low-priced
- 14:35Speaker 13: radio for the general public, and ever since, they've been
- 14:37Speaker 13: working to provide.
- 14:38Speaker 2: Innovative and affordable electronics.
- 14:40Speaker 8: And that tradition continues today as.
- 14:41Speaker 13: Crosley works to expand their product line, creating vintage-inspired electronics
- 14:45Speaker 13: featuring the latest technologies, such as iPod decks, Bluetooth, and
- 14:49Speaker 13: MP3 capabilities. So to find out more about their turntables,
- 14:53Speaker 13: just go to CrosleyRadio.com. There you'll find everything from the
- 14:56Speaker 13: players themselves to replacement needles and even records. Again, that's CrosleyRadio.com.
- 15:00Speaker 13: So head over there now and pick out which turntable
- 15:02Speaker 13: you need.
- 15:05Speaker 8: I did get that book with the naked alien chick
- 15:07Speaker 8: on it.
- 15:08Speaker 4: The green alien butt?
- 15:09Speaker 8: She's green and you can see her green alien butt.
- 15:11Speaker 4: I'm pretty sure it's Gamora from Guardians of the Galaxy.
- 15:13Speaker 8: I'm okay with that.
- 15:14Speaker 4: Walking about alone, niggas.
- 15:16Speaker 8: She is a hot piece of alien.
- 15:19Speaker 7: Ooh, and I did get a book on the Jersey
- 15:20Speaker 7: Devil to go along with our ongoing cryptid festival that
- 15:24Speaker 7: we have here on the show.
- 15:26Speaker 8: And P.T.
- 15:27Speaker 7: Barnum and other random freaks There is a section on
- 15:31Speaker 7: the VG Mermaid. I was pretty excited.
- 15:33Speaker 8: Awesome. That was most of my purchases.
- 15:35Speaker 4: Like I said, I forgot most of what I bought.
- 15:39Speaker 4: Books and stuff. Magazines and stuff. Wow. I got an owl.
- 15:43Speaker 4: What owl did I buy?
- 15:44Speaker 9: A little owl that bops back and forth like a.
- 15:48Speaker 4: Oh my gosh, I'm so excited about my little electronic owl.
- 15:51Speaker 4: Once I get batteries in it. Once I pry the
- 15:54Speaker 4: old crusty batteries out of what's currently in there and...
- 15:58Speaker 4: Hopefully it's not too incredibly nasty in there. It's starting
- 16:00Speaker 4: new batteries and hope for new life for my owl.
- 16:03Speaker 4: It'll be exciting. Boyfriend bought me a shark bank for
- 16:06Speaker 4: my birthday that I don't know about yet.
- 16:08Speaker 8: You don't know about that yet?
- 16:09Speaker 4: I don't know about that yet. Oh, man.
- 16:10Speaker 8: You don't know what you're getting.
- 16:12Speaker 4: I bought Brian's Christmas present today.
- 16:14Speaker 8: I don't know about that.
- 16:16Speaker 7: I don't know what I'm getting. I may have looked
- 16:18Speaker 7: at it and said, that's really cool. And then I
- 16:21Speaker 7: wasn't standing there when you got it.
- 16:23Speaker 8: I don't know about it.
- 16:24Speaker 4: And went through and picked out which one looked the best.
- 16:26Speaker 8: I might have done that.
- 16:27Speaker 4: Hand picked out.
- 16:28Speaker 8: But I don't know what I'm getting.
- 16:30Speaker 4: The guy seemed so confused that I was actually going
- 16:31Speaker 4: to buy something from him.
- 16:34Speaker 8: Told you he thought you were a freeloader. You were
- 16:36Speaker 8: just going to loiter about looking at his goods.
- 16:39Speaker 4: I'm not that kind of a weirdo. I got a
- 16:42Speaker 4: squish penny today. That was pretty exciting.
- 16:45Speaker 8: You are a fan of the squish pennies.
- 16:46Speaker 4: For anybody who doesn't know me, I'm obsessed with squish pennies.
- 16:50Speaker 8: It is getting out of control.
- 16:51Speaker 4: It has.
- 16:52Speaker 8: The fact that you're getting squish pennies to places you
- 16:54Speaker 8: have yet to go.
- 16:55Speaker 4: I've been buying them in bulk off the internet.
- 16:58Speaker 8: That's when you know you have a problem.
- 16:59Speaker 4: I am not making it up. In the past two weeks,
- 17:03Speaker 4: I got, what, 300 pennies. Mostly for places I will
- 17:07Speaker 4: probably never go. My boyfriend's just looking at me and
- 17:10Speaker 4: shaking his head. It's like I was sitting in the
- 17:13Speaker 4: other room sorting them out. He walks in there. I'm like,
- 17:17Speaker 4: don't judge me.
- 17:20Speaker 8: You might need a support group.
- 17:21Speaker 4: I need more pennies. I need more places to put
- 17:23Speaker 4: my pennies.
- 17:24Speaker 7: I'd like to send Misty squish pennies of places she'll
- 17:27Speaker 7: never go.
- 17:27Speaker 4: That would be the best.
- 17:28Speaker 8: Email us in and we can send you an address.
- 17:31Speaker 4: I appreciate all squish pennies. From all lands. I think
- 17:37Speaker 4: I've got one from Hong Kong. I'm pretty excited about that.
- 17:39Speaker 4: I'll never go to Hong Kong. I'll never go to Alaska.
- 17:42Speaker 4: It's fucking cold there. I got one from Alaska too.
- 17:47Speaker 7: Alright, so do you want to roll into some activities
- 17:50Speaker 7: of the geek variety?
- 17:51Speaker 4: I'm not sure that I have very many geek activities,
- 17:53Speaker 4: but I will try to roll into it the best
- 17:56Speaker 4: I can.
- 17:57Speaker 8: All right. What do you got?
- 17:58Speaker 4: I watched Top Gear.
- 17:59Speaker 8: Again. You and your damn Top Gear.
- 18:03Speaker 4: I fucking love Top Gear. Richard Hammond is adorable. Other
- 18:08Speaker 4: than that, I got caught up on Scream. I finally
- 18:12Speaker 4: finished the entire season one.
- 18:15Speaker 8: I still haven't watched it. No spoilers.
- 18:16Speaker 4: I want to spoil the hell out of that shit.
- 18:18Speaker 8: Son of a bitch.
- 18:19Speaker 4: I'm going to just earmuffs. I won't spoil it too
- 18:25Speaker 4: much I'm just I was really digging it up until
- 18:28Speaker 4: the last episode and then they were just like well
- 18:31Speaker 4: fuck how do we end this let's just oh shit
- 18:35Speaker 4: let's just slap this shit together well fuck we killed
- 18:37Speaker 4: our killer what do we do now well how do
- 18:41Speaker 4: we tack this together to make it so we can
- 18:42Speaker 4: have the season 2 we've already got approved for oh
- 18:44Speaker 4: let's just make this random choice yay I mean it
- 18:48Speaker 4: was okay I mean, I liked it. I mean, I
- 18:52Speaker 4: didn't hate most of the characters. Even the slutty girl
- 18:54Speaker 4: I kind of liked because she was kind of adorable.
- 18:57Speaker 8: Well, you gotta like slutty and adorable.
- 18:59Speaker 4: I mean, she was. She was slutty and she was
- 19:01Speaker 4: sleeping with a teacher. So you know she's super slutty
- 19:03Speaker 4: because they didn't go by absies on anything. If their
- 19:07Speaker 4: character was a certain stereotype, they were 110% that stereotype.
- 19:11Speaker 4: You got the slutty girl? Yeah, she's fucking the teacher.
- 19:14Speaker 4: You got the nerdy guy? Yeah, he works at a
- 19:16Speaker 4: gaming station place. You got like Uh, the jock. Yeah,
- 19:21Speaker 4: he's an uber football player, and he's all, look at me,
- 19:23Speaker 4: I'm manly man and shit like that. He's an asshole.
- 19:27Speaker 4: Spoiler alert, he fucking dies.
- 19:29Speaker 8: Well, everybody kind of dies in that show.
- 19:32Speaker 4: Well, no, you haven't watched the show. You don't know.
- 19:33Speaker 8: I thought that was the whole point of it. Like,
- 19:36Speaker 8: every week they kill somebody, basically.
- 19:38Speaker 4: No, because you can throw that off. Slutty girl doesn't die.
- 19:41Speaker 8: Ah, spoilers.
- 19:42Speaker 4: And she is not the main character.
- 19:44Speaker 8: Super spoilers.
- 19:45Speaker 4: I know, right? You don't know who I'm calling slutty.
- 19:49Speaker 4: It could be... the lesbian girl or it could be
- 19:52Speaker 4: the super slutty girl named Brooke.
- 19:54Speaker 8: Or the football jack.
- 19:55Speaker 4: Oh, he's dead.
- 19:56Speaker 8: Oh, damn. I bet he was a slut, though.
- 19:59Speaker 4: He was, though. But, yeah, I really liked it. Like
- 20:03Speaker 4: I said, I guess I get suckered into those kind
- 20:06Speaker 4: of shows. I'm looking forward to Scream Queens. I'm looking
- 20:08Speaker 4: forward to any kind of horror-related shows. To me, there's
- 20:13Speaker 4: not enough of those. There's too much stupid shit out there.
- 20:16Speaker 4: There's too much fucking Two Broke Girls. How the hell
- 20:19Speaker 4: is that still on TV?
- 20:21Speaker 8: Because it keeps getting huge ratings.
- 20:23Speaker 4: Big Bang Theory. How the... I'll tell you.
- 20:26Speaker 9: Two Broke Girls is like... It's so horrible. I don't
- 20:30Speaker 9: understand what the appeal of it is besides Denning's boobs.
- 20:35Speaker 4: That's what I was going to tell you. That's what
- 20:36Speaker 4: it is. That's exactly it.
- 20:37Speaker 8: That does kind of make the show. Yeah, but.
- 20:39Speaker 9: I mean, it's not like you see them, but, you know,
- 20:42Speaker 9: it's just like.
- 20:43Speaker 4: But it's the fact that they're there.
- 20:44Speaker 9: I guess. I don't know.
- 20:46Speaker 8: You know?
- 20:47Speaker 4: It's painfully unfunny. It's just like Big Bang Theory. How
- 20:52Speaker 4: is that still on the televisions? I don't understand.
- 20:56Speaker 8: Because it's the number one rated show.
- 20:58Speaker 4: How? It's not funny.
- 21:00Speaker 8: Because it kind of plays to the middle. That's the thing.
- 21:04Speaker 8: I mean, a long time ago we were discussing this,
- 21:06Speaker 8: but it's like it.
- 21:07Speaker 7: And that's what I think is funny like it appeals
- 21:09Speaker 7: to the people that it isn't because I I was
- 21:14Speaker 7: complaining about it because I'm like it's about geeks I
- 21:16Speaker 7: am a geek I could care less about that show
- 21:18Speaker 7: but like my dad watches it like he doesn't understand
- 21:21Speaker 7: why the hell I am the way I am but
- 21:23Speaker 7: he likes that show and he likes those characters and
- 21:25Speaker 7: I'm like it doesn't make sense really but I think
- 21:29Speaker 7: it plays well to like the people who don't really
- 21:32Speaker 7: get the geek culture but it's like this window into
- 21:34Speaker 7: oh this is what they're like so it's like First
- 21:37Speaker 7: of all, I think it's massively inaccurate in a lot
- 21:39Speaker 7: of different ways, but I think it gives them this
- 21:42Speaker 7: weird little window into the subculture that we all exist in,
- 21:45Speaker 7: and I think those are the people who come back
- 21:49Speaker 7: week after week, or normal people that it doesn't really
- 21:52Speaker 7: apply to.
- 21:52Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 21:54Speaker 8: Which makes up a huge majority of the TV audience, obviously.
- 21:58Speaker 4: People are dumb. Quit watching stupid stuff, people, and they'll
- 22:02Speaker 4: quit making stupid stuff. Maybe.
- 22:05Speaker 8: Yeah. we keep trying that theory.
- 22:09Speaker 4: What have you watched boyfriend?
- 22:11Speaker 5: Uh, I've been watching strike back. Uh, I like that
- 22:15Speaker 5: a lot. And I've been watching, uh, forged in fire.
- 22:21Speaker 5: I was about to say blade masters, but that's, that's
- 22:23Speaker 5: not the right thing.
- 22:24Speaker 4: That's not right at all. Yeah.
- 22:26Speaker 5: Well, when sometimes I can't remember the names of stuff,
- 22:28Speaker 5: I just make shit up. uh, but no, yeah, like
- 22:33Speaker 5: the fortune fire was pretty good. Um, I mainly started
- 22:37Speaker 5: to watch the show because of Doug Micarta, because I've
- 22:41Speaker 5: been getting more and more into Filipino martial arts. I've
- 22:45Speaker 5: been watching his videos online from Funker Tactical. I got
- 22:51Speaker 5: a little bit into knife making at work because of
- 22:53Speaker 5: what my job is, but I figure it's more fun
- 22:56Speaker 5: to learn how to stab people than it is to
- 22:59Speaker 5: make knives.
- 23:00Speaker 9: It takes less time. That's about where I'm at on that.
- 23:07Speaker 9: I don't get a lot of time, so.
- 23:10Speaker 8: Did you have things coming up that you were excited about?
- 23:12Speaker 4: I am excited about things, but now I can't remember
- 23:15Speaker 4: what they are. I don't know. I'm excited about Scream
- 23:20Speaker 4: Queens coming out. Is that this month or next month?
- 23:24Speaker 9: I don't even know.
- 23:25Speaker 8: I heard a little bit about it, but I'm not
- 23:27Speaker 8: even sure when.
- 23:28Speaker 4: I'm excited about Krampus. Krampus? Krampus, however they said it.
- 23:33Speaker 9: Krampus looks good. I like it so far. I mean,
- 23:36Speaker 9: it looks good to me.
- 23:37Speaker 7: Yeah, you did have me watch the trailer earlier today,
- 23:40Speaker 7: and it does look like a lot of fun.
- 23:42Speaker 4: Don't get confused, because there are two Krampus movies I'm
- 23:44Speaker 4: pretty sure coming out this year. Don't watch the sucky one,
- 23:47Speaker 4: because it looks low budget and sucky.
- 23:54Speaker 7: So because you're so excited, are we going to have
- 23:56Speaker 7: a movie meltdown Krampus holiday special?
- 23:59Speaker 8: Probably.
- 24:00Speaker 4: It'll be exciting.
- 24:02Speaker 8: More exciting than this. You can talk about Krampus and
- 24:04Speaker 8: I don't know.
- 24:04Speaker 4: Much about Krampus, actually. But this movie is going to
- 24:08Speaker 4: be by the same... I mean, I'm sure everybody who
- 24:10Speaker 4: listens probably knows that the Krampus movie is going to
- 24:12Speaker 4: be made by the same guy who did Trick or Treat.
- 24:15Speaker 9: Misty's excited about anything that hauls away kids and eats them.
- 24:19Speaker 4: That is like the joy of my life, actually. Only
- 24:23Speaker 4: made better when they're gingers, but I don't remember if
- 24:25Speaker 4: anybody in this movie was a ginger.
- 24:27Speaker 9: Oh, come on.
- 24:29Speaker 8: I just like Adam Scott.
- 24:30Speaker 4: You do like Adam Scott.
- 24:31Speaker 8: He's pretty fun.
- 24:32Speaker 10: He is.
- 24:33Speaker 4: But I am pretty excited about that. I'm going to
- 24:36Speaker 4: assume it's coming out in December-ish.
- 24:38Speaker 8: I would think somewhere after Thanksgiving. Is it this year
- 24:41Speaker 8: or next year?
- 24:41Speaker 4: Is it this year?
- 24:42Speaker 8: I don't know. If the trailer's out, I would hope
- 24:44Speaker 8: in the near future.
- 24:46Speaker 4: I'm still excited about the movie. The name of the
- 24:49Speaker 4: fucking movie I just forgot again. No, the other one.
- 24:54Speaker 4: What's the movie that Del Toro's doing? Crimson Peak. I'm
- 24:58Speaker 4: super excited about that.
- 24:59Speaker 9: Excited about the.
- 25:03Speaker 9: Shit, video game movie. Can't think of that.
- 25:06Speaker 4: Assassin's Creed. That's probably not until next year or the
- 25:09Speaker 4: year after. Because it's got Michael Fassbender. And god damn it,
- 25:11Speaker 4: he's finally doing a movie I will watch. Because most
- 25:14Speaker 4: of the time he wants to do artsy shit or
- 25:18Speaker 4: award bait movies or something. I'm not going to fucking
- 25:22Speaker 4: watch the... What's the movie that he's just doing? Where
- 25:29Speaker 4: he plays the computer guy.
- 25:30Speaker 9: Oh, the Steve Jobs movie? Steve Jobs?
- 25:34Speaker 4: Yeah, I have no fucking desire to see a Steve
- 25:35Speaker 4: Jobs movie, nor do I have a desire to see
- 25:37Speaker 4: Michael Fassbender as Steve Jobs. I didn't want to see
- 25:40Speaker 4: fucking Ashton Kutcher. I don't want to see Ashton Kutcher
- 25:43Speaker 4: in most things, let alone as Steve Jobs. I don't
- 25:46Speaker 4: care about Steve Jobs. It's something that entertains me. Quit
- 25:49Speaker 4: making movies I don't want to see. Or quit being
- 25:52Speaker 4: in movies that just, they're just not a good fit. Like,
- 25:55Speaker 4: I love Tom Hiddleston. Anybody who knows me knows that
- 25:58Speaker 4: I simply adore Tom Hiddleston. Mostly as Loki. Mostly as
- 26:02Speaker 4: pretty much only as Loki. And I adore Hank Williams.
- 26:06Speaker 4: I do. He's a classic, you know.
- 26:09Speaker 8: Senior is badass.
- 26:11Speaker 4: Junior has his moments. I'm not gonna lie.
- 26:13Speaker 8: Senior's pretty cool.
- 26:14Speaker 4: Senior's pretty badass.
- 26:15Speaker 8: He's a hell of a songwriter.
- 26:16Speaker 4: But they just don't go together. I mean, he looks
- 26:19Speaker 4: good in the pictures.
- 26:20Speaker 7: He looks a lot like him. Like, it never occurred
- 26:22Speaker 7: to me until they, like, showed that picture of him.
- 26:24Speaker 8: I'm like, oh, shit. He does actually look like him.
- 26:26Speaker 4: Both scrawny white guys. I mean, it works out good.
- 26:28Speaker 8: That's true.
- 26:29Speaker 4: But then he sings, and it's like, it's not that
- 26:31Speaker 4: he's a bad singer... He's just not Hank.
- 26:35Speaker 7: That was kind of my take. It's not like he
- 26:37Speaker 7: doesn't have a decent voice. It's just Hank has a
- 26:40Speaker 7: very specific quality that he.
- 26:42Speaker 8: Doesn't really have.
- 26:43Speaker 9: Something slightly off.
- 26:45Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 26:45Speaker 5: And it's off just enough to make you go, eh, no.
- 26:50Speaker 5: I mean, it might appeal to people that don't listen
- 26:53Speaker 5: to Hank that much. But, you know, I listen to
- 26:59Speaker 5: a lot of Hank Williams.
- 27:00Speaker 9: And I'm sure Girlfriend listens to a lot of Hank Williams.
- 27:04Speaker 9: And look at this guy.
- 27:05Speaker 5: This guy just now figured out he had a fucking
- 27:07Speaker 5: gas pedal. I hate it when people do that. Driving
- 27:10Speaker 5: with my cruise control on, and you drive next to them,
- 27:12Speaker 5: and they're like, oh, shit.
- 27:14Speaker 9: And then they take off. Dude, seriously.
- 27:17Speaker 4: But anyways, no.
- 27:18Speaker 8: I don't know. I'm still kind of interested, though.
- 27:21Speaker 7: From what I've heard, they're going to be really serious
- 27:24Speaker 7: with the story. They want to look at Hank's life
- 27:27Speaker 7: and how dark it gets at certain points.
- 27:29Speaker 8: So I feel like Tom's a good enough actor. He
- 27:31Speaker 8: can actually handle all that stuff. Yeah.
- 27:33Speaker 7: I'm still interested in the story. I'm still not sure
- 27:36Speaker 7: what to do with the music, which, granted, is.
- 27:38Speaker 4: A huge part of the story.
- 27:42Speaker 7: Again, that was probably early. He hadn't gotten drunk yet.
- 27:47Speaker 7: Maybe that little bastard son of his wasn't born yet.
- 27:50Speaker 7: Making his life a living hell.
- 27:54Speaker 9: Allegedly.
- 27:54Speaker 8: I don't really know.
- 27:56Speaker 4: He hadn't had that much success before he died. From
- 28:00Speaker 4: what I recall, maybe I'm totally making this shit up,
- 28:02Speaker 4: but I thought that he hadn't really gotten big and
- 28:06Speaker 4: didn't have his first biggest hits until after he passed away. So,
- 28:10Speaker 4: I mean, how much of a time span does he have?
- 28:13Speaker 8: You gotta pack the drama in there.
- 28:15Speaker 4: I guess. I don't know. He just seemed awful happy.
- 28:18Speaker 4: Maybe he was happy. Maybe I have an impression in
- 28:20Speaker 4: my head of him just being a miserable drunk and
- 28:23Speaker 4: seeing him like all smirky and happy and shit's just
- 28:27Speaker 4: throwing me out of whack. Or maybe that's just Tom
- 28:29Speaker 4: Hiddleston's natural just, he's just so damn cute.
- 28:33Speaker 8: He does seem happy a good portion of the time.
- 28:34Speaker 4: He just seems so damn dancey.
- 28:38Speaker 8: Fancy lad.
- 28:39Speaker 4: He is a fancy dancer too. Sweet baby Jesus, I
- 28:41Speaker 4: could watch him dance for days.
- 28:43Speaker 7: Alright, well I'd say that's a good sampling of our
- 28:46Speaker 7: activities for the day and our thoughts for the future
- 28:49Speaker 7: and our public service announcements.
- 28:51Speaker 4: I forget what they were.
- 28:53Speaker 8: Anything to pass along the rest of this week?
- 28:55Speaker 4: If you're going to wear an outfit, fully commit. Or
- 29:00Speaker 4: don't do it at all. Don't wear mom jeans and
- 29:02Speaker 4: a corset. It's just not going to work. And flats
- 29:06Speaker 4: and a librarian ponytail.
- 29:08Speaker 9: A librarian bun. And glasses.
- 29:12Speaker 4: Yeah, it was not a good look.
- 29:14Speaker 8: And if parts of you are spilling out, that thing
- 29:17Speaker 8: is too tight. Cover stuff up.
- 29:19Speaker 4: That was ridiculous.
- 29:19Speaker 8: That lady was out of control.
- 29:21Speaker 4: She was damn near out of that outfit. It was,
- 29:24Speaker 4: I mean, seriously, it was like overflowage. There was like,
- 29:27Speaker 4: I don't understand. Just stop.
- 29:28Speaker 8: Just, no. Nobody wants that.
- 29:30Speaker 4: No. Nobody wants that.
- 29:31Speaker 8: Just put a real shirt on. It's okay. We don't
- 29:34Speaker 8: need to see those. It's all right some people that's
- 29:37Speaker 8: fine that was not her deal.
- 29:39Speaker 5: Well i think most of it's probably the guys that
- 29:41Speaker 5: have gotten their wives or girlfriends into it and they're
- 29:45Speaker 5: like you know come on honey put this on you're
- 29:47Speaker 5: gonna look sexy everybody's gonna be looking at you they
- 29:50Speaker 5: want some of that because it reminds me of this
- 29:53Speaker 5: guy like uh we were all a bunch of kids
- 29:57Speaker 5: and we were skateboarding and this is probably when we
- 29:59Speaker 5: were like 18 and we're in line at supermarket. We
- 30:02Speaker 5: were behind this guy. His wife was super slutty and
- 30:05Speaker 5: you could tell it was some outfit that he had
- 30:07Speaker 5: picked out for. It was like leather, uh, short shorts
- 30:11Speaker 5: and a little tube top. And the guy looks, looks
- 30:15Speaker 5: over cause we're looking at her like, uh, you know,
- 30:18Speaker 5: and the guy sees us looking at her and he's like, yeah,
- 30:20Speaker 5: these kids, they, yeah. He leans over and looks at
- 30:24Speaker 5: one of my buddies and goes, bet you'd like to
- 30:26Speaker 5: get a piece of that. I get it every night.
- 30:30Speaker 9: It's just like, ew, no! But maybe that's the attitude
- 30:35Speaker 9: that they have.
- 30:37Speaker 4: As if I didn't feel ill enough already.
- 30:39Speaker 7: I think that's, I mean, there's certain situations I'm sure
- 30:43Speaker 7: that's still going on, but in the cosplay world now,
- 30:46Speaker 7: I think so many girls are so into it and
- 30:49Speaker 7: they totally like, kind of.
- 30:51Speaker 8: Like that guys are looking at them.
- 30:52Speaker 10: You can do it tastefully.
- 30:53Speaker 8: You can.
- 30:54Speaker 9: And you can do it Properly. I mean, some girls
- 30:58Speaker 9: that actually fit into the cosplay.
- 31:00Speaker 8: And guys.
- 31:01Speaker 9: And guys.
- 31:01Speaker 12: Truthfully.
- 31:02Speaker 8: Guys that don't need to be wearing shit either.
- 31:04Speaker 9: But that pull it off. I mean, it's comic books.
- 31:11Speaker 5: Or video games or whatever characters generally drawn by nerds
- 31:16Speaker 5: who like girls that are fairly voluptuous that are in
- 31:20Speaker 5: scantily clad outfits.
- 31:22Speaker 9: I can understand that.
- 31:22Speaker 4: It's so incredibly unrealistic to begin with. Yeah.
- 31:25Speaker 5: You're not going to be running around the woods in
- 31:27Speaker 5: your little micro-thin bikini fighting off.
- 31:31Speaker 9: Hordes of zombies. And there's some people that actually kind
- 31:35Speaker 9: of pull it off, which is cool.
- 31:37Speaker 5: And then there's some people that just show up that
- 31:40Speaker 5: are just like, hey, I'm going to squeeze myself into
- 31:42Speaker 5: a corset.
- 31:43Speaker 9: I'm not really going to be anything. I'm just going
- 31:45Speaker 9: to be tits out. And everybody's going to look.
- 31:48Speaker 8: That's the thing. It doesn't matter that you're semi-scantily clad
- 31:52Speaker 8: or that you're, you know, more voluptuous than others.
- 31:54Speaker 7: I think it's just like the way that you go
- 31:56Speaker 7: about it. There is a way to present yourself that's not.
- 31:59Speaker 8: It's the character.
- 32:00Speaker 9: Find the character. Be the character. Don't just be like, hey,
- 32:03Speaker 9: look at this. My boobs are out.
- 32:04Speaker 8: Yeah, it's not just for the sake of being obscene.
- 32:07Speaker 9: Yes, exactly.
- 32:08Speaker 7: Which some of them, I'm pretty sure that's their only objective.
- 32:12Speaker 9: Some of them look like that, yeah. It's like, you know,
- 32:17Speaker 9: it's like Misty was saying.
- 32:18Speaker 5: It's... mom jeans flats a corset boobs out and hey
- 32:22Speaker 5: i've got a blaster that makes me.
- 32:26Speaker 9: Something right i don't know.
- 32:27Speaker 8: I mean there's there's definitely people who do amazing.
- 32:30Speaker 7: Jobs and then there's others that just sort of want
- 32:33Speaker 7: to dress slutty again guys and girls but i don't
- 32:37Speaker 7: know i.
- 32:40Speaker 8: Just just use some discretion people come on now yeah
- 32:43Speaker 8: and i'm not.
- 32:44Speaker 5: Knocking the people that cosplay that that technically don't really
- 32:48Speaker 5: look like the characters.
- 32:50Speaker 9: I mean, come on. I understand.
- 32:53Speaker 8: Most people don't.
- 32:54Speaker 9: Most people don't spin, especially if you're a nerd or
- 32:57Speaker 9: you're a geek. You're not spinning. 900 hours in the gym.
- 33:00Speaker 8: Even normal people. People who do work out don't work
- 33:03Speaker 8: out like celebrities do. No, no, no.
- 33:05Speaker 9: And that's fine.
- 33:06Speaker 8: And I don't care.
- 33:07Speaker 5: I still respect people that do cosplay, even if they
- 33:12Speaker 5: don't fit into the costume.
- 33:13Speaker 9: That's cool, because you're doing it. I'm not. Because, you
- 33:16Speaker 9: know what?
- 33:17Speaker 5: I'm old, and I'm not as ripped as I used
- 33:20Speaker 5: to be. It just seems like a lot of trouble
- 33:22Speaker 5: to me.
- 33:22Speaker 7: The little costumes I've ever put on, which were pretty
- 33:25Speaker 7: much mostly Halloween costumes.
- 33:29Speaker 5: You know there's been some times that i've wanted to
- 33:31Speaker 5: go and do cosplay but um i just don't have
- 33:36Speaker 5: the time i don't have the time to sit and
- 33:38Speaker 5: or the money to really dedicate to putting.
- 33:40Speaker 7: Something i mean it is yeah it's i mean we
- 33:42Speaker 7: we've met some of the people now that do it
- 33:44Speaker 7: and like it's kind of a full-time job for them
- 33:47Speaker 7: it is and they have gotten to the point of
- 33:48Speaker 7: getting sponsors to do it like it really it is
- 33:51Speaker 7: a job for certain people now to go to all
- 33:53Speaker 7: these conventions and they do put it hell of a
- 33:55Speaker 7: lot of work into making those costumes.
- 33:57Speaker 8: I totally respect that.
- 33:59Speaker 5: I've got a friend that's like, he does the whole
- 34:02Speaker 5: Mandalorian armor thing. I've got another friend that does like
- 34:08Speaker 5: the Resident Evil, the guys.
- 34:13Speaker 9: With the gas masks.
- 34:15Speaker 8: Umbrella soldiers?
- 34:16Speaker 9: Yeah, the umbrella soldiers. The guy that does that. The
- 34:20Speaker 9: guy walks around all day with a friggin' gas mask on.
- 34:24Speaker 7: It's a lot of work and it's kind of uncomfortable.
- 34:26Speaker 7: That's what usually sets me.
- 34:28Speaker 10: Away from it.
- 34:29Speaker 9: And I'm kind of lazy now.
- 34:30Speaker 4: If you were to do it, what would you cosplay as?
- 34:34Speaker 8: Well, his boobs would be out regardless.
- 34:35Speaker 9: Oh yeah, hell, my boobs would be way out.
- 34:37Speaker 8: You know me. I don't know.
- 34:42Speaker 9: I really have no idea. I'd have to try to
- 34:44Speaker 9: go with something that at least fits what I halfway
- 34:46Speaker 9: look like. Unless you wore a mask. Unless I wore
- 34:49Speaker 9: a mask. Yeah, I don't know.
- 34:52Speaker 7: So.
- 34:53Speaker 8: Dubstep Cobra Commander.
- 34:54Speaker 4: All right.
- 34:54Speaker 9: Dubstep Cobra Commander.
- 34:56Speaker 8: In a bag of rain.
- 34:57Speaker 4: That's right.
- 34:58Speaker 8: All right. I think that's the bulk of our events
- 35:01Speaker 8: for the day.
- 35:03Speaker 7: We do want to say thank you very much to
- 35:05Speaker 7: Scarefest for letting us come and hang out.
- 35:07Speaker 8: And be part of the event.
- 35:09Speaker 4: Yes, thank you very much, Scarefest.
- 35:11Speaker 7: So to find out what they've got in the works
- 35:12Speaker 7: for next time, go to scarefestcon.com. See what they've got
- 35:16Speaker 7: coming for next year.
- 35:17Speaker 4: Hopefully pigtails on Robert Mooks.
- 35:20Speaker 8: Yeah, really. Come on, dude. Pigtails. Braided pigtails.
- 35:23Speaker 4: I wonder if he would braid my hair for me.
- 35:24Speaker 8: He probably would, actually. Next year, you ask it.
- 35:29Speaker 7: All right, so I think that wraps up this portion
- 35:31Speaker 7: of the road trip. Let's head on down the road
- 35:33Speaker 7: and see what we have in store for the rest
- 35:36Speaker 7: of this episode.
- 35:37Speaker 6: Last night at a half past ten That baby of
- 35:40Speaker 6: mine wouldn't let me in So move it on over.
- 35:45Speaker 11: Move it on over Move it on over Move over,
- 35:48Speaker 11: little dog Cause the big dog's.
- 35:50Speaker 4: Moving in.
- 35:54Speaker 5: She changed the lock on our front door and my
- 35:57Speaker 5: door key don't fit no more.
- 35:59Speaker 2: So get it on over. Scoot it on over.
- 36:03Speaker 10: Move over.
- 36:06Speaker 8: Skinny dog cause the fat dog's moving in.
- 36:11Speaker 2: Want some music for your ears? Doo-Wop Shop makes it
- 36:14Speaker 2: easy to rent for any event, business meeting, or special occasion.

- 36:23Speaker 2: In Louisville, find them either at their Highland store at
- 36:25Speaker 2: 1587 Bardstown Road or in the East End at 2915

- 36:34Speaker 2: Doo-Wop Shop. We're serious about music.
- 36:44Speaker 3: I'm Peter Weller and you're listening to Movie Meltdown.
- 36:56Speaker 4: Your move, creep.
- 37:03Speaker 5: It's part of your problem, you know, you haven't seen
- 37:05Speaker 5: enough movies.
- 37:06Speaker 2: All of life's riddles are.
- 37:08Speaker 1: Answered in the movies.
- 37:10Speaker 10: And now, on with the show.
- 37:16Speaker 2: Once in every lifetime comes a love like this.
- 37:20Speaker 3: Oh, I need you, you need me.
- 37:23Speaker 2: Oh, my darling, can't you see?
- 37:26Speaker 3: Young ones, darling, we're the young ones. We're the young ones.
- 37:32Speaker 6: Shouldn't be afraid to love.
- 37:38Speaker 3: Choose wisely. I don't want my.
- 37:40Speaker 4: Face to melt off if I choose wisely.
- 37:42Speaker 1: He chose poorly.
- 37:43Speaker 3: Whoops.
- 37:43Speaker 2: Remember the Coke commercials that they did with that?
- 37:45Speaker 3: Maybe. They did a tie-in.
- 38:08Speaker 10: When Last Crusade came out, it was Coca-Cola.
- 38:10Speaker 8: What about melting your face off?
- 38:12Speaker 10: Well, they didn't show the face melt.
- 38:13Speaker 8: Coca-Cola, melt your face off.
- 38:15Speaker 12: But they would have people come in, the people in
- 38:19Speaker 12: the commercial, and they had to choose a drink. And
- 38:22Speaker 12: if you didn't choose a Coca-Cola, I can't remember if
- 38:25Speaker 12: you chose poorly, but maybe you slid down a thing.
- 38:28Speaker 10: I don't remember.
- 38:29Speaker 8: It's like an extreme Pepsi challenge.
- 38:31Speaker 12: It was like at the end when the person chose
- 38:33Speaker 12: a Coke or Diet Coke or whatever, the knight was like.
- 38:37Speaker 10: You chose... Wisely.
- 38:40Speaker 12: There's also a possibility that I'm remembering this wrong and
- 38:45Speaker 12: just imagining that that happened.
- 38:46Speaker 8: That could be the case.
- 38:47Speaker 10: I'm going to YouTube it.
- 38:48Speaker 8: You are easily confused.
- 38:49Speaker 10: I really am.
- 38:50Speaker 8: As you saw earlier. As your t-shirt purchase earlier.
- 38:53Speaker 10: Yeah. Can I tell your listeners about what happened real quick?
- 38:57Speaker 8: I'll bring you in here.
- 38:58Speaker 10: So we're back.
- 38:58Speaker 8: We're further down the road.
- 38:59Speaker 7: We've ended up at another one of these convention things.
- 39:02Speaker 7: And with us is the ever popular Kelly.
- 39:04Speaker 10: I'm pretty popular.
- 39:05Speaker 8: Star of Night of Living Podcasts.
- 39:07Speaker 10: It's good to be with you, man.
- 39:10Speaker 7: We always like you guys and have you on as
- 39:12Speaker 7: much as we can when you're not sick of talking.
- 39:15Speaker 8: Because that's what you do, too.
- 39:17Speaker 12: We do do it. If you get me going, I'm
- 39:19Speaker 12: never really sick of talking. If nothing else, I'll talk
- 39:22Speaker 12: about myself.
- 39:22Speaker 7: That's why I threw it out there. I was like,
- 39:23Speaker 7: if anybody wants to talk, Amy's sick of talking. But
- 39:26Speaker 7: Kelly will talk all day long for no good reason.
- 39:29Speaker 10: All day long.
- 39:30Speaker 12: You want so i'll tell i want to tell my
- 39:33Speaker 12: story real quick all right all right listeners I'm a
- 39:36Speaker 12: fan of the television show, The Young Ones. I'm sure
- 39:38Speaker 12: some of you are as well.
- 39:39Speaker 8: I certainly am.
- 39:40Speaker 10: Brian certainly is. And he helped me through my crisis.
- 39:44Speaker 8: I walked you through it. I held your hand. It's okay.
- 39:46Speaker 8: It's okay, guys.
- 39:47Speaker 12: Here at the convention, I was like, I got to
- 39:48Speaker 12: buy a t-shirt before I leave. And I saw, it
- 39:51Speaker 12: caught my eye, The Young Ones. It had four faces
- 39:53Speaker 12: on it.
- 39:53Speaker 10: I was like, oh shit. I've never seen it.
- 39:55Speaker 8: There's four guys in The Young Ones. I like that show.
- 39:57Speaker 12: That's got to be what it is. So I bought it.
- 39:59Speaker 12: I handed over my $ 20. I was very excited. And
- 40:02Speaker 12: then I got back to the table and I looked
- 40:03Speaker 12: at it more closely and And the faces are a
- 40:07Speaker 12: little wonky.
- 40:10Speaker 8: They're making horror faces, so they don't look like their
- 40:12Speaker 8: normal faces.
- 40:12Speaker 12: Right, and so for a second I was like, I
- 40:15Speaker 12: wonder if this is an old-timey horror movie called The
- 40:18Speaker 12: Young Ones from the 60s or something, because that's kind.
- 40:20Speaker 8: Of how the design is. It might have been British,
- 40:21Speaker 8: much like The Young Ones, and you just weren't familiar
- 40:23Speaker 8: with it.
- 40:24Speaker 10: Yeah, and I was like, oh, I messed up.
- 40:26Speaker 4: Whoops.
- 40:28Speaker 8: Damn it, now I have to pretend like I like
- 40:29Speaker 8: this old movie.
- 40:30Speaker 10: I blew my 120 that I brought for t-shirts. on
- 40:33Speaker 10: a shirt. That's not what I thought it was. But then,
- 40:36Speaker 10: then you told me you looked at it because you're
- 40:37Speaker 10: a fan and you're like, no, it is.
- 40:39Speaker 8: Look, that's Neil right there.
- 40:40Speaker 10: You're like, calm down, take a breath.
- 40:43Speaker 8: And then after we pulled you out from under the
- 40:45Speaker 8: table where you're a huddled and crying, I was like,
- 40:46Speaker 8: it's okay.
- 40:47Speaker 12: So I felt, I felt better, but I still, I
- 40:49Speaker 12: wasn't a hundred percent convinced.
- 40:50Speaker 10: So then I IMDb'd it.
- 40:52Speaker 12: And I realized that I didn't, there were no movies that,
- 40:54Speaker 12: that were what this t-shirt showed.
- 40:57Speaker 10: So I was like, I think I'm feeling okay. Right.
- 40:59Speaker 12: And then finally I got final confirmation when, uh, When
- 41:02Speaker 12: our friend Alexander pointed out that Nathan of Horror Hound
- 41:06Speaker 12: Magazine actually designed the t-shirt because he loves the show.
- 41:10Speaker 7: Once you get the designer on board to say that yes,
- 41:13Speaker 7: he made this thing that you like things.
- 41:16Speaker 10: I got three pieces of confirmation. I can't really ask
- 41:19Speaker 10: for more than that.
- 41:20Speaker 8: The joke is we were all lying to you. It's
- 41:22Speaker 8: a movie.
- 41:22Speaker 10: It's a movie and you're the worst, Callie. You're dumber
- 41:26Speaker 10: than the dumbest.
- 41:26Speaker 8: Can't believe you fell for that. Yeah.
- 41:28Speaker 10: It was a very elaborate scheme.
- 41:30Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 41:30Speaker 10: They printed those shirts up. You guys all were in
- 41:32Speaker 10: on it.
- 41:32Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 41:33Speaker 10: To get me back.
- 41:33Speaker 8: That's why we did that run of shirts. Just to
- 41:35Speaker 8: mess with you. Yeah. Because I'm so full of myself.
- 41:37Speaker 10: And you guys are like, let's bring that guy down.
- 41:40Speaker 10: Let's cut him down to size.
- 41:42Speaker 8: Got to keep you in check.
- 41:43Speaker 10: Just saying.
- 41:44Speaker 8: I agree.
- 41:44Speaker 10: You shouldn't let me run rampant. Who knows what will happen.
- 41:47Speaker 8: We see what happens most of these weekends.
- 41:49Speaker 10: Yeah. I missed Turbo Kid. I really wanted to see it.
- 41:54Speaker 8: I don't think I've seen Turbo Kid.
- 41:55Speaker 10: It's brand new.
- 41:56Speaker 8: They debuted it here.
- 41:58Speaker 12: And it's like an 80s throwback. It's a low-budget 80s
- 42:01Speaker 12: throwback to those kind of... Some people are comparing it
- 42:07Speaker 12: to Mad Max. It's not that.
- 42:09Speaker 10: Don't think that.
- 42:09Speaker 12: But it is very much those gonzo outback post-apocalyptic adventure movies.
- 42:15Speaker 8: There were a lot of those after that first Mad Max.
- 42:18Speaker 12: Yeah, there were a bunch of them. And just marauders
- 42:21Speaker 12: and dirt bikes and like.
- 42:22Speaker 8: End of the Worlds and people with mohawks.
- 42:25Speaker 10: And that's what this is, but it's got a lot
- 42:27Speaker 10: of heart.
- 42:27Speaker 12: Michael Ironside is at, well, I say it's got a
- 42:29Speaker 12: lot of heart. I haven't actually seen it, but that's
- 42:31Speaker 12: where it on the street is.
- 42:33Speaker 10: It's got a lot of heart. I heard nothing but
- 42:34Speaker 10: great buzz about it.
- 42:35Speaker 12: It's on VOD, but they premiered it here at 8. Well,
- 42:38Speaker 12: they didn't premiere it, but they showed it at 8
- 42:40Speaker 12: the first night, and I had just gotten here at 8,
- 42:43Speaker 12: so I was real bummed to miss it. But you
- 42:46Speaker 12: guys should all probably watch it, and if it's good,
- 42:49Speaker 12: I want you to credit me with telling you about it.
- 42:51Speaker 10: If it's bad, I want you to just forget we
- 42:53Speaker 10: talked about it.
- 42:54Speaker 8: You never heard this.
- 42:54Speaker 10: You're like, well, who told me about that again? Don't know.
- 42:57Speaker 8: Not that Kelly character. He would never steer me wrong.
- 43:00Speaker 10: Never. I don't like things that aren't good. But again,
- 43:02Speaker 10: I haven't seen it.
- 43:03Speaker 12: It's quite a recommendation. It's like a quasi-recommend. It's a
- 43:09Speaker 12: recommend with caveats.
- 43:11Speaker 8: Let's try this one. Have you seen any movies lately?
- 43:16Speaker 10: The most recent.
- 43:18Speaker 12: Well, I did see Mission Impossible Rogue Nation.
- 43:22Speaker 8: All right. High five.
- 43:25Speaker 10: I enjoyed it.
- 43:27Speaker 12: I mean, it's a Mission Impossible movie, but everything was fun.
- 43:31Speaker 12: The stunts and action was great. The female lead was
- 43:35Speaker 12: really cool and sexy. Tom Cruise did his thing. I
- 43:38Speaker 12: liked him in it.
- 43:39Speaker 8: Did it make you want to run out and buy
- 43:40Speaker 8: a hoodie like the fourth one did?
- 43:41Speaker 3: No.
- 43:43Speaker 4: No.
- 43:44Speaker 7: Because, I mean, everybody wanted to get a hoodie and
- 43:46Speaker 7: put the hood up, right? I mean, after part four,
- 43:48Speaker 7: you're just like, I'm going out now.
- 43:49Speaker 8: I'm buying a hoodie.
- 43:50Speaker 10: But to be fair, I just, I mean, I don't
- 43:52Speaker 10: need much of an excuse to want to buy a hoodie.
- 43:54Speaker 10: I like them.
- 43:55Speaker 8: It's true. I have several myself. Most of them are
- 43:58Speaker 8: movie geek, really.
- 43:59Speaker 10: Yeah. But, no, it made me want to learn how to, like,
- 44:03Speaker 10: jump on a dude's shoulders and twist his neck with
- 44:06Speaker 10: my thighs.
- 44:06Speaker 7: Slide a car sideways down the middle of a street.
- 44:09Speaker 10: Yeah, that's what I came away.
- 44:11Speaker 12: I also want to learn how to crash a motorcycle
- 44:15Speaker 12: going like probably 120, and I'm in street clothes. I
- 44:19Speaker 12: don't have boots or any leather on, but when I
- 44:21Speaker 12: stand up, I still have skin on my legs.
- 44:24Speaker 7: If you're really pretty, you can't get through that skin.
- 44:27Speaker 8: It's so pretty.
- 44:30Speaker 12: I recently, someone showed me a picture of a guy
- 44:33Speaker 12: who wrecked a dirt bike, and he was wearing street shoes,
- 44:36Speaker 12: and the flesh from his legs was gone.
- 44:40Speaker 10: Gonzo. So, when I saw, there's a scene where, I
- 44:44Speaker 10: don't want.
- 44:45Speaker 12: To spoil this scene for you, but Tom Cruise fails
- 44:49Speaker 12: a bike going 90 or 120, who knows. I didn't
- 44:54Speaker 12: radar him, but.
- 44:55Speaker 8: Why not?
- 44:56Speaker 10: He stood, and he just stood up. Like, he hit
- 44:58Speaker 10: the ground, and then he stood up.
- 45:00Speaker 8: And landed on his feet.
- 45:02Speaker 10: He didn't even groan.
- 45:03Speaker 8: He stuck the landing.
- 45:04Speaker 10: He didn't, like, lean on his knee, like, ooh.
- 45:06Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 45:07Speaker 10: He just stood up.
- 45:09Speaker 8: Being the old man that he is, you think I'll
- 45:11Speaker 8: eventually be like, ah, damn, I need.
- 45:13Speaker 12: I won't stand up from this chair without groaning and
- 45:17Speaker 12: holding on to things.
- 45:18Speaker 8: I have that issue.
- 45:19Speaker 10: So that was impressive. That's a trick I would love
- 45:22Speaker 10: to be able to learn. Good for him. So that
- 45:25Speaker 10: was good.
- 45:25Speaker 8: You need a little Scientology? You need a few million dollars.
- 45:29Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 45:30Speaker 12: That's the end, man. That's what they're going to use
- 45:33Speaker 12: to get me into Scientology. If they can make that
- 45:36Speaker 12: happen for me.
- 45:37Speaker 7: I mean, maybe, but then they immediately take most of
- 45:40Speaker 7: it right back because that's sort of the way science is.
- 45:44Speaker 8: I don't really know.
- 45:45Speaker 10: You don't want to incur the wrath? Allegedly. The alleged wrath?
- 45:50Speaker 8: Allegedly.
- 45:51Speaker 10: Allegedly.
- 45:53Speaker 12: But I also saw, I don't know if you talked
- 45:55Speaker 12: about it, on Netflix I watched Wormwood.
- 45:57Speaker 8: All right.
- 45:59Speaker 12: That was fun. It's getting mixed reviews. That is another
- 46:03Speaker 12: kind of Australian gonzo thing.
- 46:05Speaker 8: You like this series?
- 46:07Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 46:08Speaker 12: There's zombies and there's scientists and there's soldiers and there's
- 46:13Speaker 12: just like guys that are like, oh, I live in the...
- 46:16Speaker 12: I'm sorry, Australian listeners. This is bad, but this is
- 46:20Speaker 12: the best I can do.
- 46:21Speaker 10: Like, oh, I'm going to blow us all up if
- 46:25Speaker 10: I can't beat you. I'm going to kill us all.
- 46:27Speaker 8: Tony Mountdown takes no responsibility for Australian accents used on
- 46:30Speaker 8: this show. Just a public service announcement.
- 46:33Speaker 10: That's good.
- 46:33Speaker 8: There's a lot of them in this episode.
- 46:34Speaker 12: You can forward all hate mail about that to freddie
- 46:39Speaker 12: at notlp.com.
- 46:41Speaker 8: Please do.
- 46:43Speaker 10: But that was.
- 46:44Speaker 8: Never mind.
- 46:45Speaker 10: I really enjoyed it. Yeah, she's... It's been a long
- 46:48Speaker 10: weekend for her.
- 46:49Speaker 12: But it's on Netflix streaming, so I also encourage you
- 46:53Speaker 12: if you like horror action comedy type movies, it was
- 46:58Speaker 12: really fun.
- 46:58Speaker 10: It was a very fun movie.
- 47:00Speaker 2: Very good.
- 47:00Speaker 10: It is not.
- 47:01Speaker 12: There's no gravitas to it. There's no, like, There's no
- 47:04Speaker 12: human story here about survival and how to.
- 47:06Speaker 10: Hold on to your humanity.
- 47:07Speaker 8: It's just the end of the world.
- 47:10Speaker 12: There's just jumping fast zombies and disco-listening sadistic scientists.
- 47:18Speaker 8: It's an interesting combination.
- 47:20Speaker 10: It is interesting.
- 47:21Speaker 12: Those are the two most recent things I can think
- 47:23Speaker 12: of that I've seen. I would also recommend The Young Ones.
- 47:29Speaker 8: I would second that.
- 47:30Speaker 10: The television program.
- 47:32Speaker 8: Yeah, I've watched a lot more of it lately.
- 47:34Speaker 10: Yeah?
- 47:35Speaker 7: Well, back in the day when we were at the
- 47:38Speaker 7: old video store, which was earlier last year, before it closed,
- 47:43Speaker 7: like all of them have. But, yeah, there was the
- 47:46Speaker 7: other guy there that I work with that we were
- 47:47Speaker 7: both Young Lens fans.
- 47:48Speaker 8: So, like, quite often it would get put in.
- 47:51Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 47:51Speaker 8: So most of our day would be kind of ignoring
- 47:53Speaker 8: customers so that we could watch the Young Lens and
- 47:55Speaker 8: quote lines back and forth.
- 47:57Speaker 10: A lot of quoting lines.
- 47:58Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 47:58Speaker 2: Do you want.
- 48:01Speaker 10: You want to throw a line out there? It has
- 48:03Speaker 10: been a minute.
- 48:04Speaker 8: I'm trying to think which ones at this point. I mean.
- 48:08Speaker 10: I'll start. I'll do a kneel.
- 48:10Speaker 8: Okay.
- 48:11Speaker 10: You all really hate me, right? I could be in
- 48:14Speaker 10: the hospital, right? Dying. And you wouldn't even come to
- 48:18Speaker 10: visit me.
- 48:18Speaker 7: One of my favorites that I still will catch myself
- 48:22Speaker 7: laughing at for no good reason in the middle of
- 48:24Speaker 7: the day.
- 48:24Speaker 8: Guys, supper's on the floor.
- 48:27Speaker 4: I know.
- 48:30Speaker 10: I've nailed his feet to the floor. I also like.
- 48:36Speaker 8: Missed both my legs.
- 48:39Speaker 12: Another great Neil one is just when they're watching TV
- 48:41Speaker 12: and it's just snow.
- 48:43Speaker 10: He's like, no, no, it's really good.
- 48:44Speaker 4: It's like.
- 48:44Speaker 9: But you.
- 48:46Speaker 10: Also have to imagine him doing his little dance.
- 48:49Speaker 8: No way, Jimi Hendrix pissed on this man.
- 48:53Speaker 10: Just a Belovsky. Anyway, I'm very.
- 48:55Speaker 8: So there was our little breakdown.
- 48:56Speaker 10: There you go. That's the young ones. Go watch it
- 48:59Speaker 10: right now.
- 48:59Speaker 7: You might need a while to ease your way into it, kids.
- 49:02Speaker 7: Did you immediately take to it? Because I remember when
- 49:04Speaker 7: I was a kid and I saw it, I was
- 49:05Speaker 7: just like, what the hell is this? It didn't process
- 49:08Speaker 7: because it was weird British television. It took me repeated
- 49:12Speaker 7: viewings to be like, no, this is amazing.
- 49:15Speaker 12: I did immediately take to it. And I'll tell you,
- 49:17Speaker 12: there's a couple reasons why I think I was primed
- 49:19Speaker 12: for it. my dad enjoyed weird british tv shows like
- 49:24Speaker 12: they showed him on pbs like are you being served
- 49:26Speaker 12: among others so we would watch them together the old
- 49:29Speaker 12: doctor who before like this news shiny doctor.
- 49:32Speaker 8: Who the scary intro yeah whoo.
- 49:37Speaker 12: Um, so I already was kind of a fan of
- 49:39Speaker 12: weird British stuff. And then, uh, I, I caught onto
- 49:42Speaker 12: when I was like 18, maybe 19. It was a
- 49:46Speaker 12: thing that when I was in the band, we would
- 49:47Speaker 12: watch after practice, we would get high and watch the
- 49:49Speaker 12: young one. So immediately I was like, this is pretty great.
- 49:52Speaker 12: It was the summer holiday episode was the first one
- 49:54Speaker 12: I saw.
- 49:55Speaker 8: It might've been the first one I saw. Uh, maybe
- 49:58Speaker 8: they just played that one a lot. They didn't loop
- 50:00Speaker 8: them around over and.
- 50:01Speaker 10: Over and over. Do ants go to discos? Why is
- 50:04Speaker 10: that one wearing a silver boob tube? Are you hurrying?
- 50:09Speaker 10: Is it the countdown? All right.
- 50:12Speaker 8: We're ready to wrap this up.
- 50:13Speaker 12: We're going to wrap this segment up. But this is
- 50:18Speaker 12: what has wrought this rambling. Pick yourself up a young one.
- 50:22Speaker 8: I might do that.
- 50:24Speaker 10: It's the show, not the movie.
- 50:26Speaker 4: All right.
- 50:27Speaker 8: We've had a fun visit.
- 50:29Speaker 10: We have had a fun visit.
- 50:30Speaker 9: Thank you for having me.
- 50:31Speaker 8: You were saying we didn't have enough FaceTime, so we
- 50:32Speaker 8: had to have a little FaceTime here.
- 50:33Speaker 10: You made it happen, man.
- 50:35Speaker 8: And we recorded it so you guys could share in
- 50:37Speaker 8: our rambling about the young ones.
- 50:40Speaker 10: Thanks for having me and allowing me to just say
- 50:41Speaker 10: whatever I wanted.
- 50:42Speaker 8: But while you're here, you should plug that show you're on.
- 50:45Speaker 14: Oh, yes.
- 50:46Speaker 12: If you enjoy horror-specific podcasts, you enjoy vulgarity and people talking,

- 51:38Speaker 15: The young ones, darling, we're the young ones. And the
- 51:46Speaker 15: young ones.
- 51:49Speaker 11: Shouldn't be afraid to live, love, while the flame is strong.
- 51:59Speaker 14: Because we may not be the young ones. While we
- 52:10Speaker 14: don't tell tomorrow.
- 52:13Speaker 6: Cause tomorrow sometimes never comes.
- 52:21Speaker 11: So love me. There's a song to be sung. And
- 52:28Speaker 11: the best time is to sing it while we're young.
- 52:35Speaker 11: Once in every lifetime Comes a love like.
- 52:40Speaker 3: This Oh, I need you And you need me Oh,
- 52:46Speaker 3: my darling Can't you.
- 52:48Speaker 6: See Your dreams Should be.
- 52:53Speaker 15: Dreams together And a young heart Shouldn't be afraid.
- 53:03Speaker 6: And some Teach the young ones along Once.
- 53:32Speaker 11: In every lifetime Come to love like this Oh, my darling,
- 53:44Speaker 11: can't you see? Young dreams should be dreams together.
- 53:53Speaker 15: And young hearts shouldn't be afraid. And someday, while the
- 54:05Speaker 15: years have flown, darling, then we teach the young ones
- 54:10Speaker 15: of our own.
- 54:32Speaker 4: Motorcycle.
