- 0:00Speaker 1: An illegal alien from Guatemala charged with raping a child
- 0:03Speaker 1: in Massachusetts. An MS thirteen gang member from Al Salvador
- 0:07Speaker 1: accused of murdering a Texas man of Venezuelan charged with
- 0:11Speaker 1: filming and selling child pornography in Michigan. These are just
- 0:15Speaker 1: some of the heinous migrant criminals caught because of President
- 0:19Speaker 1: Donald J. Trump's leadership. I'm Christy nom the United States
- 0:23Speaker 1: Secretary of Homeland Security. Under President Trump, attempted illegal border
- 0:28Speaker 1: crossings are at the lowest levels ever recorded, and over
- 0:31Speaker 1: one hundred thousand illegal aliens have been arrested. If you
- 0:35Speaker 1: are here illegally, your next you will be fined nearly
- 0:39Speaker 1: one thousand dollars a day, imprisoned, and deported. You will
- 0:43Speaker 1: never return. But if you register using our CBP home
- 0:46Speaker 1: app and leave now, you could be allowed to return legally.
- 0:50Speaker 1: Do what's right. Leave now. Under President Trump, America's laws,
- 0:55Speaker 1: border and families will be protected.
- 0:57Speaker 2: Sponsored by the United States Department of Homeland Security.
- 1:00Speaker 3: Let's talk about this today. Not so bad, but last
- 1:04Speaker 3: week was a tough week for the stock market, and
- 1:07Speaker 3: this month has been a tough month for the stock market.
- 1:09Speaker 3: So at what point do you see stocks reversing trend
- 1:15Speaker 3: and not falling anymore and going back up to you
- 1:18Speaker 3: know how it was for the rest of the year
- 1:20Speaker 3: when stocks were just on a rampage.
- 1:23Speaker 4: Yeah, I think probably October. A key thing that we
- 1:28Speaker 4: don't talk about is how important September is. It's the
- 1:31Speaker 4: start of the fiscal year. It feels like when September comes,
- 1:34Speaker 4: everyone's done with the vacation and then they start saying, Okay,
- 1:37Speaker 4: let's take this out of the budget, let's apply this
- 1:39Speaker 4: money here. So I think since we're getting back into
- 1:41Speaker 4: the swing of things and we just had witching, so
- 1:45Speaker 4: we factor that in. A lot of contracts expired, a
- 1:48Speaker 4: lot of headsphonges are not looking to buy it for
- 1:49Speaker 4: the next quarter. But we have to see what the
- 1:54Speaker 4: FED is going to do about interest rates and whether
- 1:56Speaker 4: I think that'll be unchanged.
- 1:59Speaker 2: We have to see what's gonna happen with the strike.
- 2:01Speaker 4: So when you're investing, you have to look and see
- 2:03Speaker 4: how many roadblocks are away from the market going up,
- 2:07Speaker 4: like you want to clean slate. So no automotive strike.
- 2:11Speaker 4: The strike in Hollywood needs to be resolved. I don't
- 2:16Speaker 4: think they'll cut rates the next year, but if they
- 2:18Speaker 4: make an announcement on that that would be great. And
- 2:21Speaker 4: then if a company puts out guidance and say, hey,
- 2:23Speaker 4: we expect a double revenue, that would be great. But
- 2:26Speaker 4: once you have all these rucks in the way, it's
- 2:28Speaker 4: kind of hard for the market to go up consistently.
- 2:32Speaker 4: And we need to see some other companies, maybe in
- 2:33Speaker 4: the Russell two thousand or mid caps do a lot
- 2:37Speaker 4: better to show signs of strength so that the Dow
- 2:40Speaker 4: can catch up and the S and P five hundred
- 2:42Speaker 4: can catch up. So that's what I'm looking for. That
- 2:45Speaker 4: probably would happen until mid October. If you're an investor,
- 2:48Speaker 4: you just have to keep buying quality. I know everyone
- 2:51Speaker 4: hates when the market is in a down cycle, but
- 2:54Speaker 4: this is the best time to actually buy when we're
- 2:58Speaker 4: sliding down. It's really interesting from like a psychological standpoint.
- 3:02Speaker 4: When the market is at a high, everyone wants to buy,
- 3:05Speaker 4: even though statistically it's the worst time to actually like
- 3:08Speaker 4: make an investment in.
- 3:09Speaker 2: And then when the market is sliding down, more people
- 3:11Speaker 2: are afraid. But you shouldn't be thinking.
- 3:14Speaker 4: About this over a month to month, Like if you
- 3:17Speaker 4: judged three months six months out, you'll be incredibly happy.
- 3:20Speaker 4: But I know, it's tough when you're actually making an
- 3:21Speaker 4: investment and you put three thousand dollars in and then
- 3:25Speaker 4: two weeks later you're down five hundred bucks.
- 3:28Speaker 2: But you have to play the long game no matter what.
- 3:32Speaker 5: Yeah, I think all those factors that you name, and
- 3:34Speaker 5: we kind of, you know, spoke about this at the
- 3:36Speaker 5: start of the month about all the things that are
- 3:38Speaker 5: happened in September. We talked about CPI, We talked about unemployment,
- 3:42Speaker 5: and we talked about the Fed, you know, having the
- 3:45Speaker 5: interest of either they're going to freeze rates or raise rates,
- 3:47Speaker 5: and so all those things are playing out like we said,
- 3:49Speaker 5: like you said, which just happened last week, and so
- 3:52Speaker 5: all these things are playing out exactly how we you know,
- 3:55Speaker 5: historically we thought they would.
- 3:58Speaker 2: Ernest what's up.
- 3:59Speaker 5: You ever walk into a small business and everything just
- 4:01Speaker 5: works like the checkout is fast, the receipts are digital,
- 4:05Speaker 5: tipping is a breeze, and you're out the door before
- 4:08Speaker 5: the line even builds. Odds are they're using Square. We

- 5:00Speaker 5: We're handled the back end so you can keep pushing
- 5:02Speaker 5: your vision forward. This episode is brought to you by
- 5:08Speaker 5: P and C Bank. A lot of people think podcasts
- 5:11Speaker 5: about work are boring, and sure, they definitely can be,
- 5:14Speaker 5: but understanding a professionals routine shows us how they achieve
- 5:18Speaker 5: their success little by little, day after day. It's like
- 5:22Speaker 5: banking with P and C Bank. It might seem boring
- 5:25Speaker 5: to save, plan and make calculated decisions with your bank,
- 5:28Speaker 5: but keeping your money boring is what helps you live
- 5:31Speaker 5: a more happily fulfilled life. P and C Bank Brilliantly
- 5:35Speaker 5: Boring since eighteen sixty five. Brilliantly Boring since eighteen sixty
- 5:39Speaker 5: five is a service mark of the PNC Financial Service Group, Inc.
- 5:43Speaker 5: P and C Bank National Association Member FDIC. I think
- 5:49Speaker 5: the one thing that maybe people overlook is the geopolitical
- 5:52Speaker 5: climate of the economy. What's happening in China, which we've
- 5:56Speaker 5: documented on a number of occasions, but what's still happened
- 5:59Speaker 5: in the Russian Ukraine, Like, these things still play a
- 6:02Speaker 5: major role in the world economy. And so those things
- 6:05Speaker 5: are happening, and let alone anything else that may arise
- 6:08Speaker 5: over the next four to six weeks, you know, I mean,
- 6:10Speaker 5: you just never know. So all those things put into
- 6:13Speaker 5: a bullet is a recipe for some of the climate
- 6:17Speaker 5: that way. But like I said, we've seen September and
- 6:20Speaker 5: historically it has been the worst month for the market.
- 6:23Speaker 5: But like you said, the other end of the spectrum
- 6:26Speaker 5: is that if you're somebody that's looking to figure out
- 6:28Speaker 5: what time should I invest, it's a great place time
- 6:32Speaker 5: to start putting the seats.
- 6:34Speaker 4: I mean, if I told you two years ago that
- 6:36Speaker 4: at one point a former president would be indicted, and
- 6:40Speaker 4: then a president's son will be going possibly the jail.
- 6:45Speaker 2: You'll be like you've lost your mind.
- 6:46Speaker 4: Like this is one of the most interesting political climates
- 6:51Speaker 4: I've seen, and that unrests costs is for concern, like
- 6:56Speaker 4: especially once again when you only have seven companies. I
- 6:58Speaker 4: know you guys get tired of us talk about Apple
- 7:00Speaker 4: and Microsoft, but it's like, and even with Apple, you're
- 7:03Speaker 4: on the clock.
- 7:03Speaker 2: You need to start innovating.
- 7:06Speaker 4: I think Michael Batman wrote wrote a newsletter or article
- 7:09Speaker 4: saying this Apple the new IBM. If they don't fix
- 7:12Speaker 4: this by iPhone seventeen, I'm gonna have a different declaration
- 7:17Speaker 4: on iPhone. It's time for some innovation. If any of
- 7:21Speaker 4: you work at Apple or used to work there, please
- 7:23Speaker 4: send us up the food chain. I know they are
- 7:25Speaker 4: not taking it serious, but and I know because of
- 7:28Speaker 4: the regulation and regulatory issue that they have to make
- 7:31Speaker 4: the charging port of USBC, that's not the innovation that
- 7:34Speaker 4: we need.
- 7:35Speaker 2: It's really not.
- 7:37Speaker 4: So companies overall have to do better, like we need
- 7:41Speaker 4: to have a conversation when a Starlink going to go public,
- 7:43Speaker 4: like Starlink made one point four billion dollars last year
- 7:46Speaker 4: as a privately held company. Another great elne innovation. We
- 7:51Speaker 4: need more companies to produce real products and real services
- 7:55Speaker 4: that are needed. We don't need another social media app
- 7:59Speaker 4: for dogs.
- 8:02Speaker 3: I guess trapped in a matrix.
- 8:06Speaker 5: For trying to get him out of here. Can't you
- 8:07Speaker 5: can't be talking. You can't be talking about Tim cook
- 8:09Speaker 5: like that man.
- 8:11Speaker 4: Listen, every time I mentioned Tim Cooker Zuckerberg, I get frozen.
- 8:13Speaker 2: I'm sorry.
- 8:15Speaker 5: Yeah, they said that the pre order sales for the
- 8:18Speaker 5: fifteen are coming in better than expected, which is, to
- 8:23Speaker 5: my now a little surprising.
- 8:25Speaker 2: I didn't think they would.
- 8:26Speaker 5: I didn't know if people would be clamoring to have
- 8:28Speaker 5: a new phone that's kind of similar to the last
- 8:30Speaker 5: three that they have.
- 8:31Speaker 2: But it goes with my brand. Again. Gotta innovate.
- 8:36Speaker 4: You have to innovate, and I like to get ahead
- 8:38Speaker 4: of these problems before it gets too bad.
- 8:41Speaker 2: We need to see some innovation immediately in Apple.
- 8:45Speaker 1: So an illegal alien from Guatemala charged with raping a
- 8:49Speaker 1: child in Massachusetts. An MS thirteen gang member from Al
- 8:52Speaker 1: Salvador accused of murdering a Texas. Man of Venezuelan charged
- 8:57Speaker 1: with filming and selling child pornography in Michigan. These are
